Here are your host, Matt Gorley and Andy Daly.
Ande Daly.
Ande Daly. Hello and welcome to not the Andy Daily pepper pot whistle.
But the uh, this is bananas for banana can you believe it?
Do you believe this is a milestone? We've finally seen a victory.
We've finally seen a survivor peek its head
out of a pack of rejected podcasts.
So how many podcasts would you say, let me just explain for people who might be joining
this with no idea of what the hell is going on and are already so confused that they're rushing
for the stop button on their device? Stop! Wait, don't, don't turn us off.
So Matt, this is Andy Daly, and I'm joined by.
Matt Gorley here and we hosted the Andy Daly pepper pot
podcast before. Yes, exactly.
And that was a program in which aspiring podcasters sent in tapes, usually cassette tapes, sometimes real to real,
you know, we would get a canister, a giant, a big canister in the mail.
However it came, we would, we listened to them, we screened them all and we chose, I guess
we chose over time, 16 or so, promising episodes.
Repeat shows, episodes of a certain show, but basically
16 unique episodes.
Yes, exactly.
And we did not necessarily think that any of these would become regular podcasts on Earwolf.
We thought some of them maybe kind of have potential, but mostly we were just picking
interesting pilot submissions that we thought people might want to hear.
That was sort of the approach.
Yeah, it was kind of a social experiment in a way, but we'd still, you know, do our due diligence and march these cassettes
right up to the top floor of the Earwolf skyscraper, slam them down on Scott Ackerman's desk
and just, just say, bear this. I'm mad as hell and it never happened until today.
It never even came close to happening. But here's, I mean, this is, this is amazing.
This is a real Cinderella story. Dalton Wilcox. He's the, he calls himself the poet
laureate of the West. He's a cowboy poet. Who knew cowboy poetry was a thing? It is.
He's also got some other issues that we may or may not get into here, but he's an author.
But he first did a pilot podcast back in 2014 called The Wit and Wisdom of the West,
and he really wanted that to be a regular podcast, and it was not even really considered in any time.
And then he came back, four years later with something called Bananas for Bonanza,
which is a show in which he is going to watch every episode of Bonanza
and do an episode of this podcast.
It's like a companion discussion piece.
Yeah, this is a popular format, the Watchalong franchise podcast, like the West Wing Weekly, and that's sort of thing. Right, right, right. So that I guess that's what he was doing, but he somehow, he chose he chose he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is, he is he is he is he is he is he is he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going, he is going th, he is going to watch, he is going the th, he, he is going he is going, he, is going th, is, is, is, is, is, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, is going, he, he, he, is going, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, is going th. He, he th. He, he thi, is going thi, is going thi, thi, thi, tho, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to tho and that's right right right so
that I guess that's what he was doing but he somehow he chose a show that
has been off the air for half a millennium for 46 years I'm not great I'm not
great with years yeah it's been off the air for 40 some years you say 46 I know
because it went off the year that I was born oh I see okay well that's helpful for you to understand that.
I could be Bonanza reincarnated. The soul of Bonanza transferred into you? I was named
after Marshall Matt Dillon from Gunsmoke so maybe there is some of that in my DNA. We'll see.
Wow, that's wild. That's funny. I was named after the patron saint of Scotland.
So, uh, really? Wow. Different sensibilities. Mm-hmm. Oh, well, that'll really be something
when Cameron McGonagall gets his podcast picked up. Yeah, I've always, I'm always rooting for that guy.
But, uh, so, yeah, so, uh, yeah, so he did that and then he did a second episode at the Pcast Blast. That was a live th, I tho, I tho, uh that that that that that that that that that was that was that was that was that was just, that was just, wow that was just, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that was that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that was just that that that that that that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that that that that that that that that that so he did that and then he did a second episode at the Pcast Blast.
That was a live episode.
I don't know if that was just on Stitcher, but, you know, of course, there was never any
real thought that this would be a regular podcast, but he pressed and pressed.
He called, I mean, he called me just about every day, but it would be at odd hours, you know. I'd wake up in the morning to several voicemails and text and emails and things like that.
And sometimes it was clear that he was drunk and other times that he didn't realize.
There were times when he like butt-diled me, but happened to be talking about the fact that he wanted this to become a regular podcast. To whoever he was talking to, and sometimes, and sometimes, and sometimes, and sometimes, and sometimes, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, but but but but but but but but but but but but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, like, like, like, but, but, like, like, like, but the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, the they. the the the the they.that he wanted this to become a regular podcast,
to whoever he was talking to and sometimes it seemed to be himself.
Was that a passive aggressive way of trying to get you to know it or was he actually doing
that?
It's hard to believe that butt dials are even possible.
I feel like there are always some kind of an unconscious expression.
How do you even do it? Yeah. I don't know. I get the feeling that he was he this was the only thing he was thinking about in all of his waking hours, which seemed to be all of the hours.
There doesn't seem to be, sleep doesn't seem to be a part of it for this guy.
No, and if he was sleeping, I, assuming he did it while he was stalking me outside my house,
because he pitched a pup. I'd strown. Robert De Niro in Cape-o, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, the house, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. th. th. the. thea. thea. theau. theau. their their their their their, their, their, their, their, their out there and then anytime I would drive somewhere he would strap himself to the underbelly of my car with his belt like Robert De Niro in Cape Fear and I'd
like go to the bank and he'd be there I'd go home and he'd be there I don't
know how he did it. That's terrifying. Did you ever call the police or
anything? No, no. Yeah I did. I called the police and then I didn't hear anything back and then when I called back later they
said that the officer they put on that had vanished.
That was all that I heard.
So after that I was like.
He was wearing like a police hat one day.
Just kind of John'sley cocked on the side of his head almost like a trophy.
Oh, okay.
Well that's a break from his usual cowboy head, so that that is not worthy.
Well, anyway, I guess he also was doing the same thing to Scott over at Earwolf,
and it sound like, from the way Scott was talking about it, that there were threats involved,
and that he was fearing for his safety and that there were mysterious fires around his home. But anyway, I don't, I hesitate to say any that, because that, because that, because that, because that, because that, because that, because to to to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage to encourage that, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the to don't, I hesitate to say any of
that because I don't want to encourage anybody else to try to get a podcast
the way that Dalton seems to have, but it does appear that he, yeah, he threatened
his way to a series pickup. So this is the first ever podcast by coercion.
I don't know if it's the first ever podcast by coercion. I don't know if it's
the first ever. I mean some podcasts you hear seem like they might have come
about that way. But this one for sure, for sure did. And it seemed like Scott didn't
want to tell me everything but he did say something about a hostage situation.
Maybe at some point we'll get him to elaborate on that. Yeah. But regardless of how it came about, it is here.
Dalton Wilcox.
Oh, by the way, he seems to be,
because I listened to this episode,
he seems to be under the impression
that there are going to be 431 episodes of this.
Yeah, I don't think he understands there's just eight.
Yeah. And in fact, I asked him about that, and he said something about reading contracts
being for city slickers or something like that.
So it's because it says very clearly in the contract,
this is an eight episode run.
So I don't know what's gonna happen
when he discovers that it's not 431 episodes,
but that will cross that bridge when we are jumping off of it because it's on fire. But yeah, I mean he's got a new guest in every episode.
And this first episode is episode 3 of Bonanza because the first one was his pilot and then the second one was the PECAS show and so this is going to be episode 3 of Bonanza.
Yeah, for you complete us out there, make sure you go back whether it's Stitcher Premium or on the Andy one was the PECAS show. And so this is going to be episode three of Bonanza. Yeah, for you complete us out there,
make sure you go back, whether it's Stitcher Premium
or on the Andy Daily Podcast Pilot Project free feed
and listen to those two,
because who is ever going to want to recap Bonanza
without getting the full flavor and spectrum is the answer. So I think that's all we have to say we are not going to introduce every episode of this show,
but we just thought, you know, to give it a launch, you and I should come on and say a few words about how we got here.
Yeah, and a little bit of a congratulations to you and me for finally getting one of these done.
I mean we shepherded this through, we filtered these tapes, we curated this, and we finally, finally had a success as depraved
as it might be.
Yes, it feels really good and irresponsible.
Yeah, the best of both worlds.
Yep.
All right, so with that, we invite you, the listener, to enjoy Bananas for Bonanza. The pride and forever made. Right. I'm bananas for banza.
Eahah.
Hello, friend.
Come on in.
The gate is open wide.
All right.
Welcome to Bananas for Bonanza
with Dalton Wilcox. That's me. Folks, if you are new to this show, there's just a whole hell
of a lot I'm going to need to explain to you about it, but luckily it's all fascinating,
as entertaining as hell. Now, I'm a cowboy. I'm a real live working cowboy. And by the way, I just want to make clear, I'm not I I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not I'm not their I'm not their I'm their I'm their I'm their I'm their I'm a to make clear their their their their to make clear their their their their their their thii. I'm gonna do this time, so savor it.
This might be the last time anybody ever hears me explain myself.
Here we go, because I'm gonna be a big star of podcasting, and everywhere I go, everybody'll
know who I am.
Look, let me explain now. For now, not only am I a cowboy, I am also the most renowned practitioner
of cowboy poetry throughout the American West. I am the poet laureate of the West. I am the
foremost collector and chronicler of the wit and wisdom of the West, and I am also the
author of the very fine books, you must buy your wife at least as much jewelry as
you buy your horse and other poems and observations humorous and otherwise from a life on the range, as well, as well, as well, as well, as well, as well, as well, as the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, I the, I the, I'm the, I'm, I'm the, I'm, I'm the, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I the, I the, I the, I, I the, I, I the, I, I I, I I I I, I, I I I, I I I, I, I I I, I I, I, I, I, I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, as well as it's equally terrific follow-up. You still have to buy your wife at least as much jewelry as you buy
your horse and even more poems and additional observations, humorous and otherwise from a life
still being lived on the range by Dalton Wilcox. I also hunt downed and slaughter vampires and
other monsters, but I have been advised to downplay that aspect of my life on this new venture, and I'm more than happy to do that. That's no problem at all.
Do you think I enjoy talking about my encounters with terrifying monsters? I do not.
I do not. I'm getting to move on sign right now. I've already said too much. Okay, you can cut that out if you want. I am not plague. I that out out out out out out out out that. I that. I that out that out that that that that that that that that that that that that that th plagued th plagued th plagued th plagued th plagued by th plagued by thagued by thagued by thagued by thagued by thi thi the the the the that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that out that that that that that that th. I am not the the the an the an the an thanks to the folks at the Ears Wolf, I am also now a full-time
regular podcast host with my own regular full-time podcast of which this is both the third and first
episode. I'll explain that. With the first episode of Bananas for Bananzas was part
as a part of some kind of podcast pilot, Pappa. And the second episode was a part of some kind of piss festival.
It was live.
And this one now is episode three
where we're gonna be talking about the third episode of Balanza.
And it's the third, but it's the first of the regular series,
which I have convinced the Ears Wolf to give me, and I barely had to do anything to them. They were more than happy to give it. And so this is, by the way, the third of 431 episodes of this show.
And so, lock in.
It's gonna be a long ride.
In this podcast myself and my co-hosts, which I'm very eager to introduce to you. We're going to discuss one episode of the classic Western Western teleasern television teleasern teleasern the the teleasen-wested the the the of of the classic Western Western television program, Bonanza, and each episode, and that aired from 1959 to 1973.
That's 431 episodes, that's why he's gonna be that many of the podcast.
Now, this was the first TV show to bring the Western lifestyle
and the ranching lifestyle and the man lifestyle into American living rooms in a way that everybody
in America could understand, even the stupid.
It's a damn important show.
And today we're going to be talking about season one, episode three, the newcomers, and
man, it's a great one.
And you can find it on YouTube for some reason, but the whole episode is there.
Why?
But before we get into all that excitement, I can't wait to tell you about my regular co-hosts on this, tho, tho, tho, th... You are so lucky these folks are willing to do this and to commit to 431 episodes. I don't know that
they realize it's gonna be that many. Well first up you know him he's been here for
the first two episodes of this. The lead guitar's been and America's only
genuine country and Western band the Journeyman. Hey! I'm a fire brand Western music star I've never not had a song. to to to to to to to to the the to the to the to the the their. I'm also bananas for bananas. I'm also bananas. the children of plantains.
I love bananas. How ripe does a banana need to be for you to get excited about it.
Or how unripe can it be before I'll still eat it?
That's a good question. For me, the riper the better, I I like them black as night. All right, but we'll talk more,
but I'm very excited to get to our next regular co-host of the show because this is someone
new to the enterprise. Now, as you know, I mentioned this to you a few times, but I have a tendentan te thinininininininininininininininate the thinate thinate. I'll thin' thi thi. I'll thi. And there's a gal there who's been in a lot of these chat rooms with me,
and we just struck up a little bit of a friendship,
a conversation, and she's got interesting ideas about Bonanza.
And I said, why don't you come and be a part of this podcast? I couldn't believe she said, yes, yes, thage thage thage thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thi thi thi thi thi thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thus thee thee thi, thi, the, the, I's the, I's thi, and I's th. thi, and I's thi, and I's thi, and I've thu-a, and I've thu-a, I've thu-a, I's thu. thi, I's thi, I's thi, I's thi, I's thi, I's thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that, that, that, and that, and that, and thoo' tho' that, and tho' that, and tho' there's there's that that that, that Amy Sleverson. And it's so wonderful.
Thank you so much for having me on your podcast.
Thank you so much.
I love Bananza mostly because I heard that you were a podcast that had a need for, I read
a multi-level marketing company, that it's a Christian paste, but it's family just like
bananas.
I know you mentioned this a lot in the chat room and most people kind of say, hey, we're just
talking about Benanza here. Okay.

Have you read the book of Revelations?
Have I read the book of Revelations?
Well, I've heard of it, and I've done my best not to read it.
It's one of the some, one of the 40 signs of the Apocalypse,
things like that, where you're licked and your, there's a saucer, the sa- I, the sa- I, the sa- I, the sa- I, the sa, the sa, the sa, the sa, I, I, the sa, I, I, I, the sa, I, I's, I, I's, I's, I's, I's, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, the, the, I've, I've, I've, I've, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, th., th. th. thi, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, they-a, thoooo, they-a, they-a, thooooooo, they-a pillows with all the signs of the apocalypse.
How many pillow?
Like a haremor form of pillows.
Oh, it's 43 pillows.
A genie bottle.
And each one's got a different sign of the apocalypse on it?
Yes, the horses, and then there's when the earth opens up, and then there's when
the 17-headed dragon comes. That's, I mean, that's kind th- th- that's kind that's kind that's kind that's kind that's kind that's more more more more more more more more that's kind the that's kind that's kind that's kind of the that's kind of the the the their their their their's when the 17-headed dragon comes,
that's, I mean, that's kind of more of a little roll pillow
that's just for your neck.
Well, why pillows?
Because it seems like you don't want to get comfortable on the apocalypse.
Or have I got that wrong?
Well, the problem is I couldn't...
The copyright a lot of the more popular Bible quotes and so I'm just getting
biblical quotes and not everybody knows. Okay I just want to be real clear
and again we're cutting all this out but it was I was doing a tequila
shot off what I thought was a woman but she had a real hairy arm and that's
when I realized that's probably a werewolf but she got away anyway
putting that topic to bed you you, now are these pillows, products that you sell
through your, through your enterprise?
And what's your business?
It's called Lots Daughters.
Lots Daughters.
Lot's daughters.
All right.
He's the one that's salt.
Well, his wife turned to salt when she looked back at Simon Cormora and then his daughters got him drunk and they raped their father. Is that right?
Yes.
Hot damn.
They were the first business women spreading seed.
What was their business?
Well, they were getting the seed of their father into them so they could create the nation
of Israel.
Can I just say for the listener that your posture is such your shape like a question mark?
Well, that's that's... We we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we're that's that's that's that's that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed that's supposed. We're not supposed to comment on women's shapes now, but...
I do apologize.
Oh, I don't mind.
I'm not like one of those modern ladies.
You know, although I am a hashtag girl boss.
You sure are.
Yeah, I don't like those modern women telling you all kinds of things you can't do. Oh, no, I got this, this one... It it it it it, it, it, it, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's th. It's th. It's th. Oh, no, I got this this one. It's a t-shirt you can give your wife. It's one of the lesser
knowns from Quote quotes from Timothy. Is that a book of the Bible? Timothy. Timothy 212. My nephew?
I do not permit women authority over a man. And then you give it to your wife. And you can wants it! And you can put an arrow on it
like oh I'm with stupid. I do not permit women authority over a man. I love it.
God if I had some six guns I'd shoot them up in the air. Yeah and it's got a
little Tierra on top what kind of a shirt what style of a shirt is that? Is that a tape top? It's kind of, it's like a, you remember the weight lifting shirts?
I remember weight lifting shirts.
Where they have a low size, it's kind of like that,
but it only comes in a small,
so you can see a little bit of the low breast.
You just get a little breast.
So you know what you're getting. about their breast size. Yeah that has been a problem. Well, so Lots Daughters and
people can find that on the internet presumably. Oh, lots daughters dot com and it's
just me. Yeah. I have, I only have three products. They don't sell salt. No.
That's such a good idea though. Well, take it. Mm-hmm. We're all a team man.
You know what, I will. You've got other
products. You might as well show us your other products that whatever else is for
sale on there. I'm in the market. Now look, this is not a podcast about
marketing your products or anybody. We're talking about Bonanza and I do want
to get back to it as fast as possible. You put in whatever. This is a calendar. A calendar for women. A calendar, it's in pink, whoever works on the
Sabbath she'll be put to death. That's from Exodus. There's no Sundays in the
calendar. What a good idea! That's a calendar with no Sundays in it. Do women just disappear
on Sundays? Yeah, no, no, they just they don't have the book open because they're out of commission unless you want to have sex with their husbands and that's not work. That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. that's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's their their their thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their thi. to be to be to be to be tooooooooooooeses. tea. tea. tea. today. thea. thea. the. ththey're out of commission unless they want to have

And that's not work.
That's all pleasure.
Am I right, ladies?
So, this is a hashtag.
Sometimes you can put the hashtag after the clever thing you say, right?
Or just put a hashtag and nothing else.
Oh, those are very popular right now.

It also, you know, it helps for autistic kids.
Uh-huh. And for dogs who can't calm down, it's one of my favorite quotes from Judges 19.
That is a very long quote on a very large blanket.
Well, let's hear it.
Well, judges 19?
The gist of the story, I won't read the whole thing.
Well, I'll, you might as well read it.
Read it.
You read your whole blanket.
So it's such a funny story.
So the man took his concubine and he sent her outside to them and they raped her.
And he's a the night. And it's blah blah blah blah. Let her go, daybreak.
She's I fell down at the door, right?
Oh, I see.
And her master says, anyway, she doesn't get up out of the doorway.
And he says, she says, get up, he says, get up.
Let's go, let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go.
Let's go. It's right there. So the man puts it on his donkey and sets out for home.
When he reaches home, he takes the knife and cuts her up,
cuts up the concubine limb from limb into 12 parts
and sends them to all areas of Israel.
My God. Is that crazy?
I didn't realize the Bible got that specific about things.. the th. th. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I, it. I, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's that's, it's, it's that's that's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it is. and that specific about... I mean it's better than any TV show you're going to cuddle up in
Netflix to watch right? I've never seen a blanket. Read a blanket. A bookmark before.
That's wild. May I suggest 12 throw pillows, one for each limb, one for each part of the body that that that person was cut into. That's a great idea. A. person was cut into. That's a great idea. A female shape pillow, a concubine
shape pillow. You guys are really helping me out. I should listen to men more
often. Yep. So this is a multi-level Christian home goods business and it's but
it's just yourself. You're all the levels. So far but if you want to start a gathering your own home first you sell to
your family structure you sell to your kids and your husband because they
support and they love you and then you start moving out from there I've set
up my daughter in business she she's still working on a payment plan to
give me a hundred and fifty150 for her first box.
Really?
And then, then, so far, I'm doing great.
Seems that way.
Well, and now, now, what, I want to say a little quick something, I'm excited.
I love being on the show already.
It's great stuff, but I just want to say a quick something about your commentary on Bonanza on that discussion board that first made me, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the, the, the the, so so so to to to to quick something about your your commentary on Bonanza on that discussion board that first made
me just start talking to because you had all kinds of ideas about what was
happening biblically and you believe that Bonanza is essentially a biblical story.
It's like a missing chapter from the Bible somewhere like in the old New Testament about how the God created land
that was only for us. Yeah and so use it but protect it, protect it from evil.
Well you know you're not wrong it's like God had his son Jesus but then also had two other kids.
Two other kids. Like talk about Haas and little joke. Oh sure.
Well I like. Jesus said too
right. And then Haas died for us so that we could watch the rest of the seasons.
Well, don't get ahead of it. But... Oh, sorry. No, it's all right. That's all right. No, I screwed
everything out! No, no, no, no, don't worry. It's so gay. Put that away. What is that? A bottle of arsenic and a little cloth you were
going to ether yourself? I'm always ready to go. Oh don't do it. No, no, no. It's been
a good ride. We've got 431 episodes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we need you. All right, well,
see I thought people would find that interesting and feel, help them understand
how important Bonanza is that at least one person believes it ought to have been in the help them understand how important bananas is that at least one person believes it ought to have been in the Bible. All righty so that we've met
Mutt Taylor and Amy Sleverson and now we're going to meet manly agarne what's
your name? It's actually monogapian. Say it again? Mono agapian. Mono agapian. Yeah.
All right well you can have manly agarne as a as a as a alias if you're like. Mono, a mono. Yeah. Yeah. I get that a lot.
I know.
Welcome, Mono.
Hi.
What's your story?
Dear, what do you?
It didn't give me anything about you.
Oh, yeah.
You're a cowboy?
Are you a cowboy?
I'm a sort of just a everyday person who lives in LAA.
I do some comedy, some writing, some acting. Oh I see. Mm-hmm. Yeah. You're in the arts.
Yeah. Like a true, goddamn city slicker. They told me be prepared to encounter a lot of city
slickers in the podcast game. I am a city slicker, but I'm, I like, I like the country. Man, oh, have you considered being washed in the blood of the resurrection? Oh, today? I'm no, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I like, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, I, I, like, I, th. Is that what you're asking?

Well, what's that now?
Wow.
It's all God's children are loved.
I love no matter.
See, I don't agree.
Dad, no, where do you go to church?
Well, I don't go to the church of the land out there in the American West, out on the
rains, that's my church.
The mountains and the cactuses and the sunsets, that's all my church.
And that church tells me that, that gay business just got to stop.
But welcome.
Thank you.
I feel the that's, I'm say I grew up going to Greek Orthodox Church. Oh, you did it. Oh, yeah That's close. That's close right. That's pretty it's pretty good a lot of a lot of
a lot of morals you would probably see you guys are more familiar with
Mm-hmm. That's beautiful. You just said thank you. You're welcome. You're you did. You just said thank you. You're welcome. You're you. Oh, my gosh? Oh, oh, that's? Oh, that. Yeah, that. Yeah, that. I dated a Greek man. Oh you did. Look at you go, girl.
My gosh. Real melting pot here. Yeah. What happened? Why would you stop dating him? Well, he
got so angry. He got arrested because there was mayonnaise on his sandwich, which I
could relate with, and then I haven't seen that.
That can't be why they arrested him for putting mayonnaise on a sandwich?
No, no, he was so mad.
Oh, I see.
And then, and I said he's my husband.
He did, he, he's, he's get stick had not, and he's, he's been impressive.
So he did something bad that I feel like you're a manate.
He didn't want mayonnaise on a sandwich.
They put mayonnaise on the sandwich and then he did something which cost him to become arrested
and go to prison.
There was an aggravated assault.
Or a protecting of his rights as a customer.
The customer is always right.
The customer is absolutely always.
Yeah, the lawyer should not have gone with that defense. The customer is all they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they put may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may may. they. they. they. they. they. they. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. they. they. they. they're. they're. they're. they're their. they're they. they've. they've. they've. they've. they've. they've. they're. they're. they're. they're. they. they. they. they. The customer is all right defense?
Yeah, I don't think that holds up in court, unfortunately.
Well.
But I'm really excited to be here to talk about Bonanza.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You've seen a lot of it?
No.
OK.
OK.
But my mom loves.
told me bananas, she's always been a big Bonanza fan.
Is that right?
Uh-huh.
All right, well, good work was that?
Yeah, no, that's fine.
They told me, they told me, they told me,
they're gonna have city slickers on your show.
We cannot avoid it. We're doing this thing.
Staticly. some of these people might not be 100% heterosexual. I was told that ahead of time, in fairness. I was told that, man, that's good. All right. And I was told them, I don't want to step over my bounds,
but you're all right. You've been flirting with me a little bit. Oh, you've been flirting with me a little bit? Oh, well, you're talking to me. You're talking to me like that. that. That. That I I I. That I I that I that I. That I that I that I that I. That I that I that I that I that I that I that I that I've that's. That's that's good. That's good. That's good. That's good. That's good. Of course I asked you how you're a brand new chaps. Well I want to know how they look. You usually wear
like a pant underneath it. Why didn't you ask me about your chaps? Well how do you
like them? Well, I don't know that I want to answer now being second fiddle and all. All right. Well look I was only trying on the chaps young man I was trying to. I'm. I. I. I. But yes, at the time when I asked you how my chaps look, that's true that it was not wearing
pants.
How are my chaps?
How is that flirting?
Uh, you're honestly crooked.
I don't want to be cool.
I'm sorry.
They're just crooked. my six gun ready. What? You don't you don't? I know I don't. No I don't. No, I don't.
No, I don't. But I they they look really expensive the material itself. Yeah, I traded

You're goddamn right they do. Keep that in mind. Keep that in mind. That'll come up again later in this episode. All right now the other thing thin they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they tho tho tho All right, now, the other thing they told me
was that some people are not gonna have been familiar with Bonanza.
And I said, that's fine because the whole point of this podcast
is to introduce people to Bonanza.
Outreach.
So we're, you're gonna be excited to hear all about Benanza.
Should we get into it?
Let's episode.
This episode is called called the new the new's aired in September of 1959, and it's a
real good one with Swedish Beauty Inger Stevens as Emily Pennington, Byron Folger as
Justin Flannery as the doc.
Man, he does, he will talk about him in a bit.
This episode has everything.
The cold open of the episode begins just like the pilot did, with our heroes riding up
and looking out over, what do you call them, a canyon, a valley, and seeing something
they don't like.
This episode could have ended there, it would have been happening.
I agree with you.
And it's the whole, it's all the boys.
We got Paul, Ben Cartwright, and we got Haas and Little Joe and Adam are all up there,
but and they're joined by a Mexican.
Now this episode doesn't have any Chinese, unlike the pilot episode had literally
scores of Chinese. Here's the episode. And the situation the situation the situation the situation the situation. Here's the situation. Here's the situation. Here's the situation. Here's the situation. Here's the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation is the situation. the episode is the episode is th. th. th. th. th. th. It's the pilot episode had literally scores of Chinese. It did. Oh good.
Here's the situation and this is good for anybody that hadn't watched
hadn't listened to our earlier episodes and it does get briefly toucest on in this episode.
Ben Cartwright has buried three wives and his sons were all...
Is it that suspicious? It certainly is. Yes it is. He didn't bury him the same night.
I even more suspicious. I believe it was three nights in a row.
So he impregnated him one at a time and then buried him one of the time.
And then exhumed the babies?
No, it was an impregnation of a woman and a burying of a woman and then an impregnation of a woman and a bearing of a woman and it's all okay. Okay. And all three died in childbirth. I think that may be what they say. Yeah.
Why are you excited?
Well, because it's true.
It's from the Bible.
It's exciting.
Well, that was, it was so wonderful when you are a woman and you, all you did was live
for your family.
That's the ultimate, Cyrus, is to have a baby and die. I thinn't that's that's that's that's that's that's the their their that's their thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. thus. It's thus. It's, thus. It's, that's, thathea, thatheat's, thiioluu, thi. It's, thi, thi, th is is is th is th. that's thus, it's thus, it's thus. It's, it's, it's, th. It's, th. It's, it's, th. It's, th. It's, th. Your birth literally killed your mother.
I'm sorry, I interrupted you.
What?
I interrupted you, that was rude.
Oh, you're talking about.
So this story is he has had three men with different women.
Yes, and it's fascinating because. He's from New Orleans. He's from heaven, let's be honest. He's a Creole. Yep, and then and then one of them is a
giant and a monster. He's a hoss is a literal giant. Was Michael Landon in
Highlander, is that where I know him from? No. You're thinking of Christopher
Lambbear from. Okay, thank you. Michael Landon was in that little house on the prairie. Beautiful. And the Highway of Heaven, Highway of Heaven, which is a little better than Touchman Angel.
Michael Landon had an all-consuming need for money.
All right, uh... Wait, do you just like all shows with Angel in the title or like Evans?
Because how did you feel about the angel starring that Buffy guy or Dark Angel?
No, not that. No, I just like it
when people halfway through an episode become angels. Like when the kid they
were, these family, they were gonna have a baby and then they found out their
baby had Down syndrome in the tummy and then they were gonna get rid of the baby. And then they, wait hold on. And then they found out that they met somebody who was in the neighborhood who had Down
Syndrome and they says, and he was such a nice guy and they saw, and the father said, you
know, maybe we shouldn't get rid of our fetus because this guy is such a nice guy and he's having a good life and he has sound special syndrome. And then the guy goes, he goes, he becomes an angel.
You can see this light come out behind his head.
And the Down syndrome guy is an angel.
What are you describing?
Are you doing another television podcast?
Is this a television show that you're telling us about or a dream or what?
It's an episode of Spanish.
Oh, I see.
All right.
Okay, yeah.
All right.
Yeah, all right.
Well, I wish I knew how.
We're sorry.
We're sorry.
We're sorry.
We just wanted to know.
It's okay.
I'm just.
H. Okay. Hey, my girl boss. You're, you're so, hashtag. What, what were you going to say?
I just say you're really strong.
You are a girl boss.
She is real strong.
She carried that box in here all by herself of those things that you brought.
All right, as I was saying, there's not a one Chinese in this episode.
And there's also no Native American savages. is is a Mexican and he's developed by the name of Jose and just as with the
Chinese and the savages, the Mexican reveres Ben Cartwright. He just looks to
him like a god and Ben Cartwright has a wonderful way to talk to him and Jose
says, Jose says, your fight is my fight, right? I mean that's a one, you
couldn't ask for more loyalty. Yeah, yeah. From anybody. That's gonna be really, it's gonna be, be interesting for to be to be the the to be the to be interesting to be interesting to be interesting the to be interesting to be interesting for the the the the to be interesting the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th.a.a.a. tie.a.a.e.ea.ea.ea.ea.ea.ease.ea.ea.ea.e. te. te. the. the. the. the., yeah. From anybody. That's going to be really, it's going to be interesting for you to talk about this
and with today's, you know, with the sort of point of view of today's politics.
What do you mean about that?
Yeah, what?
Oh, I guess, you know, obviously the way we view different people of different people, you know, today? Today?
I guess, yeah, it's interesting.
I guess like the way you were like labeling people,
and I don't want to tell you your business,
but like the way you were like talking about people,
I think it'll be interesting for you to see how like some of the attitudes
on viewing people or labeling them via their ethnicity, Uh, no, I don't know what you're talking about. What I'm saying is Ben Cartwright has an incredible way with Chinese and Savages and Mexicans, all
of them. He's just, they revere him.
He knows how to speak to their language.
You should have heard him in the last episode.
I'm a savage saying, you know, many moves to their, really talking their language. He gets it. Yeah, you know, the the the they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. the. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. gets it. Yeah, you know, never mind. Never mind. I said anything. I didn't understand what you said.
Yes, you have something to, Alvert, Amy's leave with him.
It's God's country. Here, here. Well, this is the third episode of Bonanza ever to feature the burning map in the opening credits.
And then we have the opening credits where we really get a good long time to look at the faces of the stars.
A long time. And all right, then we're bang into the action and we find out there's an encampment on the Ponderosa.
What it is is there's this party of gold miners.
And it's a brother and a sister and they've got some money, that's the Pennington. And then she, Emily Pennington, is is is is is is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged, is engaged to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the is engaged to be married to another, to the part
business partner of her brother, who is also a gold miner, that's McCall.
Oh, right.
And they put together a party of people.
They're going to do some hydraulic gold mining, which I guess, I don't know.
She's beautiful.
She's really, she's really cute.
A sweet.
You're not a problem with, that, that, that's okay. No, but I had a hard time understanding who was who.
Like, or I, thank you for that explanation, because I had a hard time getting how that group of people
were connected.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah, and then for some reason they're also traveling with a fellow by the name of Justin Flannery who is an entomologist and something else. What did he say?
Oh, was the botanist? A botanist and an entomologist.
Maybe he's undercover.
Well, if he is, he wasn't successful.
Because he's traveling with them and I can't even imagine how that guy survived in the old ways as long as he did.
Sniveling nerd. Yeah. Yeah, classical university. And was he the one helping the young lady who was ill?
No, I don't believe he was.
He's too interested in the life of the bugs and plants.
Yeah.
To do anything like that.
This episode also has a wonderful bad guy and the person of a fellow by the name of Krug,
every time McCall is alone, and McCall's not a great fellow either. But Krug will side on up to him and propose, he the the the the the the the their, he he he he he he he he he he he he he he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's th, he's th is th is thus, he's thus, he's thus, he's thus, he's thi, he's thi, he's thi, he's is thi, is thi, is thi, is thi, is thus, is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is not is not is not is not is not is not is not is not is not is not is not th, he is not th is not th is not th is not th is not th. He is not thi, he is not thi, thi, is not thin, is not thin, thin, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to him and propose an evil idea as he does here.
In his first scene, he says Krooog should get rid of the girl and her brother, right?
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, and that's when the Kartrites show up.
Now, the Kartrits don't like McCall because McCall is stolen some of their cattle in the past.
He butchard him. He but but he butchered him. He but he butchered him. He butchered him. He butchered him. He butchered him. He's is. He's buchered him. He's is. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's the the the the the putchered him. He's should should should should should should. He's. He's should. He's should should should should should should the pund. He's. He. He. He's should should. He. He. He. He's should should should should. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He. He's should should should should should should. He. He. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's. He's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. He's th. He's the the the. He's the the the the theuu. He's got. He's got. He's should should should should. He's s. He's s. He's out there on the Ponderosa known for being rich with silver
and gold or or that's why that's why they're there right?
Lord willing we'll never find out, Mom.
Because it's also a steak house.
Oh yeah?
There is a Ponderosa.
I think if we refer to the word of Bonanza, we got a hold on a potful of gold, bonanza that tells us that this is a gold rich environment.
Yeah, I mean, it's supposedly yes.
All of the manza.
We think there's gold under the ground at the Ponderosa, but they don't want to do any
mining of it.
It's for cattle grazing.
And hydraulic mining is particularly destructive.
It's just flood the land. You may not know this or not, but are they just, they're just walking, they're just walking through nature looking for gold and silver. Well, this party, this party you're
talking about? I guess the cart rights. No, for heaven's sake. The cart rights, they live there. They live
on the pot of the roadside. I miss that. Because I felt like they were traveling together somewhere? Well their land is so big that they basically got to travel to go anywhere on their land. So they're just constantly doing
neighborhood watch on their own property? If you want to belittle it. Okay, that's
what I got. Because people are cutting through their property to go mine
gold in various places. You never cut through the cart rights. Don't cut through the cart rights. Don't cut th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thr- thr- thro throom. thr- their thro- their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right. their th right. to to to to to to to toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooes. to to their their their right right right Got it. Uh, the woman was so pretty. Absolutely.
She wears a corset and I wear spanks.
It's the same thing where it's like you can try to control your body.
So it doesn't get, because when it gets out of control.
Yeah. That's interesting.
You got whale bone spanks?
Oh, well, they don't have them anymore. They won't let the whales, I guess, I I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I guess, I guess, I guess, I guess, th, the wa, the, the wa, the wa, tho, tho, tho, tho, the wa, the wa, the their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the. the. thea, thea, thea, thea, thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea, thea, they don't have them anymore. They won't let the whales, I guess, get upset about you taking their bones.
And the bones can pierce your body.
And the bone.
Well, that's ironic.
Well, that's ironic.
That's the worry, I think, because it's just like, no, no beauty.
No beauty without pain. That's interesting, because that's the they. they. they. they. they. thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the, the, the, thoes, th. the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, thi, th. And, thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. And, thea. And, thea. And, thea going to evolve, you know, like the way we look at beauty has changed so much since, you know, that time period.
But she's pretty. She's so pretty. Yeah, she's she is a beautiful young lady.
But it's interesting that you know, it's going to be, it's an interesting to see.
Actually, I don't want to bring this up yet, but I will of it in this scene right here. Oh yeah. Their eyes meet Emily and Haas.
Tender episode. Yeah, it's beautiful. And there's a little, there's a spark right away.
And what else happens in this scene?
But she's so pretty and he's so pretty and he's not.
Well he's a monster. He's a monster. I mean he says as much he's ugly. He does. I mean he says he says he says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He says. He's is is is is is th. He's is a th. He's is. He's a th. He's a th. He's a th. There's a there's a there's a there's a spark. There's a spark. There's a there's a spark. There's a spark. There's a there's a spark. There's a there's a spark. There's a there's a spark. There's a there's a spark. There's a. There's a s. There's a. There's a s. There's a. There's a. There's a. There's a. There's a. There's a. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a spark. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's a s. There's you feel like, obviously that's like such a trope? A trope?
What's a trope?
Um, okay, like a commonality in film?
Like a good thing.
Like a good thing.
Oh, something so good.
You just want to keep on seeing.
Yeah, it could be a good thing or it could just be like a thing that's very up. Yes, it's kind of like that and I think it's so good that they keep playing it out. This is sort of the beginning of that trope of
like big old donk gets the beautiful stunning girl which I can't tell what do
you guys think that's problematic or do you think it's just like
Haas wins her over because he's so great? I think it's beautiful. I think it's essentially the same as King Kong. You know, that girl fell for that gigantic ape.
And if it can happen with that ape, it can happen for anybody.
That's the message of King Kong.
Beauty and the Beast.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The CBS show.
Oh, the CBS.
Yes.
You've got to stay pretty.
Keep your temple beautiful. Keep your temple beautiful. Maybe a hideous monster will fall for you. Now also early in this episode, Ryan, we're ready to show a clip. This is a wonderful
example. There's so much punching and brawling in this episode. Is this the, no, that's not the one
I have mine. I had the other one of mine. Well, yeah, that's it.that's it. And this to me is a perfect reaction to
somebody hauling off and punching you if you can do. This guy is basically
saying this is Krug, Sain and McCall, I can't tell who's in charge anymore. All right,
roll it. A few years ago, when I first knew you, there was no doubt about it.
I took my orders from you.
Sure. You still do. Oh, sure. Maybe when you two get married, you can use your wife's money to keep me on the payroll.
No.
That's more like it.
You just say the word, boss.
You just remember that. I'm boss.
That's the way I like it boss
You know the the bug hunter flannery
Says he's going on a long there go he sidles right up to him and starts talking about a plan He's awful alpha for a beta. Yeah, isn't that great? I'm that's all the guy wants just punch me in the face. that's all that's how we know you were gonna host this thing. Yeah, isn't that's that's that??? that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. that's th. th. that's all th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the tho that's that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that the the the the the the the the the th I know who's in charge. That's all. That's how we knew you were going to host this thing. That's right. We were talking about who who's going
to host it, who you know, who's in charge of this podcast and we were has
hashing it out and then I just hauled off and punched you and you said that's
what I wanted I kept sticking my to say that an incredible BDSM
Thank you. You know, you know some it was gay
There was a lot of feeling there where he was like that felt good
Yeah, like you know somebody things you have the butt and it tingles. Yeah, you think oh
They want it again, but you don't ask that because it's your mom spanking you.
Right, you fall on your bottom heart so you cough and you're like, oh, that felt kind of weird.
Oh, I'm glad you said that because I was like, oh, they're not going to go for that.
But yeah, I, I, I felt some, you know.
You think these two characters, there's some gayness between them. There's some the the the th th th th is some their their's some th is some energy's some energy's some energy's some energy's some energy's some energy's some energy's some energy's their's some their's their's their's their's their's their th. There's th. There's th. There's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, thi. Oh, thi. Oh, the. Oh, the. Oh, that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's thea. Oh, oh, oh, thea. Oh, some energy there. He liked the slap. He smiled after the slap.
And we're all sinners. Yeah. We're all sinners. It's not, it's just that they didn't act on it,
but it was a lot of, it's okay to have those feelings. Well I just want to say.
Well I just want to say. Do you have any feelings like you ever, like, because this is a safe space? Do you ever have? A lot of times.
A lot of times when I wrap up against something in just the right way and I don't mean it,
but then it's like I go by the couch again later in the day and I think, ooh.
But I try to, then I start noticing, hey, you've been back by the couch a couple of times.
Leave it alone.
You know, I kind of know what you're talking about.
I got a scuffing my saddle.
Sometimes it feels good on my naughty.
That's probably a good time to take a break.
No, did you want to say one thing.
I want to go to break with people listening to this commercial thinking about him and it is naughty and her by the couch. I can't stop that, but I will tell you about some queer art after the break.
Queer art?
Well, that's the opposite of a teaser.
But I did, I just wanted to say real quick, it's fine with me if you say those two bad
guys were gay. But if you suggest for one moment to little Joe or Adam or hars of, thus, tham, tham, tham, tham, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, thus, they, thus, they, they, the they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they. they, they, they, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi, thi, thi, thi, the, theeeat, theeat, theeeeat, theeee.e. thee. theeeeeeeeat, theeeeeeee and they're Cartwright, are now 100% heterosexual,
we're going to have problems.
All right.
Well, you could, there's a potential there for them to be gay and incestuous.
Good heavens, good heavens.
As you said that, you are gracing my neck.
Like, as you said that, you are grazing my neck.
All right, folks. You will be right back with more bananas for Bonanza! Whipch! Academy Award winner, Helly Berry.
One touch without a robot is all in text.
Say it. Never let go.
We're the world now. Never let go.
Never let go.
In theater September 20th. bananas for bananas or I'm going to just try to chug right through this and hopefully avoid any talk of gay art. All right. Oh shoot. Yeah. I want to hear
about it. Well we can maybe we wouldn't hear about it later. It might help
because you know it'll help you dispel. You know you'll have more hate for
something if you don't like it. But I do have to share with you guys there's a great artist from the early 50s 40s. their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Well. Well maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe. Well, maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe. Well, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Well. th. Well. Well. Well. Well. th. th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. Well, th. th. th. th. th. th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, maybe, their, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, was George Quaintens. I'm sorry they're what there wasn't gay then. Yeah I don't believe they had it. I mean if you study you know
ancient Greek you know hot pass. Well go ahead what were you going to say?
You make disagree but you do you say I would suggest if you want to get mad
check out the art of George Quaintence he was this um queer artist who like when when queer erotic images were actually like illegal.
Oh, yeah.
So what they had to do is like disguise them as like erotic or athletic art depictions.
So they're like a very interesting like like they'll have cowboys and men in locker rooms
like being athletic with just little gay hints dropped into the art. It's interesting.
And I think you really make it match.
Because that name doesn't sound familiar, I think I might have...
Like they're wearing pattern socks.
Plooh, pff.
Pff.
I might have some cowboy paintings by this photo of the counter.
I'm like...
I'm like, they're like...
Yeah, I just have like, like there's like a slice of cake on the counter and you're like, why's that gay? Well it's 7 a.m. I come again?
P. Everyone knows cake in the morning is gay but that's neither here nor there.
Okay. That sounds right to me. I've never heard it before but it sounds right.
A lot of animals are gay and asexual and trans but we can't and they didn't tell us the scientists didn't and scientists and the scientists and scientists scientists scientists scientists scientists and the scientists scientists scientists scientists the scientists scientists they didn't the scientists they didn't they didn't the scientists didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't the scientists didn't they didn't the scientists didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't they didn't the scientists. they didn't they didn't they they the scientists didn't tell us because they didn't think we could handle it and we can't.
All animals are sinners.
Well again, yes, that's going to come up later in the episode.
All right, let me just tell you, Krug comes up with a plan to murder the nerd and pen
it on the cart rights.
And the purpose for this plan is to get people all mad at the cart rights so that their land
will end up in the hands of these prospectors.
And so, and also the nerd's mule is named Christian.
Isn't that interesting?
And it's very prominent.
All of a sudden, out of the nerd grabs hold of his mule and he goes, come on Christian,
and he's right on camera, I don't know, very prominent. I'd was the the nerd the nerd was the nerd was the nerd was the nerd. the nerd. the nerd. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to. to. to. th. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. I didn't even clock that. Well, probably store behind that. Was, I bet, was there some sort of, are there ties to him being like a wandering through
the...
To who, the nerd?
Yeah.
He ain't wandering anywhere anymore, my friend, because in the very next scene, oh.
He comes up to the cartwright's house to talk about what I don't know, and he gets to to to to to to to to to to to the the the tho, thin, thin, thin, the middle of a sentence and it's one of those sentences you can tell the writer of the episode did not know how that
sentence was gonna hit. Because he knew it didn't matter. Like a set up to a
joke that has no punch. That's right. We are never gonna hear. It's also. It's also.
It also was ominous in that it was so optimistic. their sense. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the the the the the the the the. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the's the nerd. Oh, come on over here fella. Hey guys, I was just wondering Pow straight through the heart he got killed and I feel like everyone dies in very much the same way in this series
They really just sneak they really they just snake back and fall to the ground. It's belletic in a way. Mm-hmm. Yeah, well, that's how they're tell thoub. That's how they're theyre. It's thou. Yeah. confrontation and it is decided that this encampment is going to move out and to make
sure that they go, Hauss is going to go with him because he's a giant and he can handle them all by himself, and he can protect him all by himself too. And this is when we really, really start to say that spark of love between Emily and
Hauss.
Can you explain that to me again?
So he goes with the people that he doesn't like.
He goes with the people that he doesn't like to.
Well, he's been told by his family members to guide them off talked about it. Yes. We talked about it you're going. But Haas is so simple-minded and
pure, so stupid, that in his mind he's going to protect them. He doesn't see himself as the
enforcer of them leaving the land. He has it he has it in his mind I'm going to protect
and in particular the lady. What happens to the mural? To Christian the mule? Yeah.
It is never explained.
No, it's not.
Nope.
Yes, that is, that's when you gotta have faith.
Yep, that's right.
Now, we're getting ready to show the second clip.
I only show here.
Because now, as they're making their journey, Hauss is still with them. It's nightfall, and it can be very, very difficult in a television show to subtly depict which character is bad and
which character is good. Sometimes it must be done artfully, it must be done
with a painterly touch. And so here we'll see at the end of the scene if you can
guess which of these characters is good and which one is bad? Go ahead to show it. Aren't you forgetting why we're forgetting why we we we we were the why we were thiiiiiiii why we're the th. their th. th. th. th. th. their th. th. th. th. thi? thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. to to to to to to to te. It's is toe. It's is toee. It's toe. It's toe. It's toe. It's toe. It's toe. It's te. It's te we're making this trip? Didn't we agree on it? We both knew Emily had to get to a drier climate.
Are you forgetting or other things more important?
Can't you control that miserable coffin?
These fur branches will make a good bed for you, ma'am.
Just put them in the ground with the needle land up.
You'll sleep a lot better.
The smell of that fur will be good for that cough too.
Oh, night.
Now, okay, let's go around and see if you've got any guesses between McCall and
which one's good and which one's bad because they played it very subtly.
McCall, he acted like a, you know, someone who's really been in a marriage a long time.
He's had it with her.
Well, he loves her and that's why he's not going to give her any sugar.
He says, you know, we don't know her that well.
We don't know if she's always coughing and always all tubercular and I always like,
oh I'm about to die right now.
You know, you just don't know her very well.
And so we're all seeing this, he's been in Tarana.
See, so he might be the good guy.
Okay, they played it real subtle.
Any other guesses?
Well, I'm gonna take cues from your artist, friend,
and look for the hidden pictures. I hear bad music when the th the th th the th th th th th th th th th th th th th th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I hear bad music when McCall speaks. Oh, yes, and I see that Haas is wearing one of them things
you hold when you play air hockey on his head. It looked like one of those. Oh, that's his hat. Oh, he's got his hat on his head. Yeah, what's the name of that device? That's a good. bumper, humber, hand bumper. The big nipple. So there's nothing bad about air hockey.
No, I think the bigger problem I had in the scene was him telling her to sleep on a bunch of branches.
I know it's supposed to be sweet but I can't help but think there's bugs in them thar branches Oh, well, he can't avoid the bugs, but he did say put the pine needle side up
That seems uncomfortable, but that charm can be devious
The other guy didn't have any charm and he just sass straight back at her and that's what you want to Spauce is someone who's won't take any of your shit. Well, it's inconclusive in this room, but I know the answer.
What is it?
What is that?
Hoss is.
He's simple-minded and pure, and he's too stupid to be evil.
Sure.
He's the Lenny.
He's a snake charmer.
Hauss is?
Ha' is. He's got any tricks up his sleeve. The only thing on Haas's mind is his hat.
The hand bumper. The hand bumper.
Yep, so now what happened?
They kind, oh yes, now, and a horse is very, very kind to his horse.
He says something, and he has got a line, he says,
some folks have a natural mean streak in him that animals just don't know nothing about.
Well, you were talking about that. You that that's wrong. A horse will bite you and they're sinners.
You think animals are sinners, yeah.
Well, sometimes when they don't,
they aren't connected to God.
Then they just, you can, like I had a bucket of carrots,
and I gave a chunk of carrot to his horse and he looked at me and he looked at me and then he ate
the carrot but then he ate my hand or tried to chop it.
That's what you were, there was a, you were on the local news recently because you were trying
to baptize animals at the zoo. Oh is that you? You had gone to the zoo to baptize animals to be baptized. Oh, is that right? She stood too close to to to to to to to to the the to the the to the the the to the the the the the the the the toe the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the car. the the the ca. Is that right?
She stood too close to the cage and they tore off her hand.
And she was so nice.
That's just revenge for the monkeys paw, you know,
people carrying monkeys paws around all the time.
They won't be a human's hand.
Good point.
I wasn't going to to tell you to to to to to to to the to the birthday to to their to to their toldldldlde their to to theirthis, but I tried for your birthday to get a hunting trip to that given preserve, but they didn't return my call.
Are you allowed back at the given?
Oh, yes.
They are, I, they said anytime I wanted to come back as long as I kept a certain distance.
From what? That doesn't sound like an invitation. Well, it's so you can watch, I can just listen. They, you go the their their their their their they they they they they they they they they they they they the given person, don't let their cries be silenced because
they're there are beautiful animals that sing. Oh, but they're also very dangerous.
Gibbons? Yeah, that's what I heard. Most dangerous game. Well, uh, all right,
crew comes up with another plan now. And it's a complicated one. It involves, he's going to exploit Hauss's love of animals to distract Haas with an injury to a
horse's hoof so that they can get the jump on Haas and attack him and then
go to Jose, he's that Mexican. What do you want me to call him? A not Mexican? And they're going to his...Latnex, but I'm not sure he is Latinx but you could say Latinx. Oh. Oh. they're go go go go go go go go go. they're go. they're going. they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they're th. they're they're th. th. th. th. take Jose's guns.
I guess Jose has a stockpile of weapons, something.
And then they're gonna attack the cart rights.
I believe that is Krug's plan.
It's got a lot of steps to it. I missed that. Yeah, I you. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. Well, so they put something in the horse's paw and sure enough, paw,
horse, yeah, the horse is paw.
And sure enough, huh?
Huh?
What do you do when you want to call someone like par?
Like you're my par?
You're my par?
The horse is dad?
No.
No. Par. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. A. the horse? No. the horse? No. the horse. to be relatable to people that don't know dogs, only know horses.
Anyway,
Hoss bends over to inspect this horse's foot. Let's just say foot. Okay. And and that allows them to get the jump on them. Somebody drives an elbow into his shoulder and that's all it takes.
Ridiculous. And Hoss goes down and then they they tie them up. It's confusing.
They take Jose's dead body and they dump it on the cartwright's front steps.
That's what it- Headed when he gets shot when he deaded when he gets shot? Because I couldn't know if it was a warning,
not not Hoss.
Jose. He gets shot as a warning shot. Doesn't someone get shot and like warns him? You might
think that only because nobody has any kind of an emotional reaction to the death of Jose.
Right, because then they're like go deal with the body. Yeah, exactly. You might think that because this fellow who when we meet him in the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first the first their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. the. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. te. te. te. te. tosea. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. tos. tos. tos. tose. tos. the first scene seems like he's their closest buddy and when he shows up dead on their doorstep they go

kind of stands up for herself? And then the guy she's about to get raped and that is when Hauss breaks out of his restraints like an ape. He's like an ape going wild.
Right, right. He cannot be, it's one of those things where like the ropes was
enough to keep him tied up all day until a woman was in distress. Yeah, just like any

So Haas picks up Emily and they run off and as they're going somebody says let's see how far he gets with a sick girl on his hands.

And at some point she says, take a rest, and he rests for, you can count
it. It's about nine seconds. And then he goes, that's good. Picks her up and races. I am ugly. That's a beautiful compliment. That really made me sad. Yeah. It would
have been nicer if she said, I think you're as ugly as I am pretty.

would be together. You're still with your husband who's in jail? Well no no no he was my
husband he was just my boyfriend. That was a Greek yeah oh yeah he was so
funny he said baby if I'll if I know he would be say he said you know if I'll never hit you. Ha ha ha ha that's what he said so funny. No, she has to say that.
No, but I, that's why I thought it was so funny.
Yeah, yes, I don't know if that's funny.
Was that a first date thing?
He said, I'll never hit you.
Yeah, he said, he said, anyways, now we get to blah blah blah blah blah.
I'm trying to get to the-
I agree, the romance is what this episode's about.
It is really what it's about.
This is the first love story I've ever cared about
in television or movies.
They, what does it say?
McCall, oh, he gets a bunch of random minors all upset over the murdering of the nerds. And they they they they they they they they they they are they are they are they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. they're that. that. th. th. th. th. th. that. th. th. that. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that. that. that. that. that that that that that to to to to to to to to to to to to to today to try. that that that that that that that the nerd and they're going to, they're going to attack the cart
rights.
It's too bad you can't smell what's going on.
Oh, I agree.
I think that all the time I watch this show.
I'd love to smell it.
Like Haas and the woman.
Yeah, she would smell kind of sick and then he would be sweaty and then you'd of... But perfumed. Yeah, perfumed and then maybe she'd be a little excited
so you get a little bit of...
Oh boy.
Wow, yeah, alrighty.
You know what, I think I need to re-watch this.
Yeah.
I get, oh, there's a line here, what's he says?
I get sort of lonely like, and I I'd like to take you. I believe that's
a metaphor for fucking. Right? And what he's saying is he's a virgin.
Unless that's a canyon that Paul berries is three ladies. Yeah, well, oh, possibly. We never know. You never find out if any of the brothers are you nicks Well, if any of them is, it's Hawes.
He wants to take her to Horseshoe Canyon.
That's a damn fine name for a canyon.
And you can go in one end and out the other, basically.
This is an around about.
Probably.
Yeah. Okay.
Now, while these two areing about the canyon and she's
standing behind him and you're thinking is she gonna just put him out of his
misery? Right. But then he hears noises and he goes and he sees the minors and he

Want to tip off all man, cop rightness boys?
But he's fat!
It's all muscle, especially this time.
It's all muscle, had plenty of time to shoot him.
Yeah, they sure did.
He takes a long way down that hill.
Smell that.
I don't.
Pulls a man off his horse, slams him to the ground.
Oh, bango.
Oh, bingo.
Oh, wait a minute.
This is the man lost all these people.
Pennington takes down the car.
When you're choppy, you can be really strong.
Oh yeah, he didn't even notice those punches.
You're all right.
Now listen to this.
Ah, Ha, it looks like you have things under control.
Yeah, Regner, I suddenly lost my temper.
I love the sound of that man hitting the dirt.
Yeah, that's real nice.
That is quite a sound.
Like a bag of mail.
Big choice.
It sounds like a guy hitting a paint of wood with a sledgehammer.
Yeah, Folly had fun.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah. So that was Hoss going wild and hulking out and turning into the monster that he is and he lays waist to a bunch of those men. And it's then a beautiful woman
watching him and it's so pretty. Oh yes she was watching the whole time. She's
very ill. They never say what she's dying of tuberculosis or some shit? Do they say? Do they? I don't do the coughing. Yeah, she's coughing. the the throwning. I's c the to c. I's c. I's c. I's c. the feeling there must be blood in that hanky.
But I wanted to see it.
I wanted to see it.
I wanted to see.
the house and the doctor shows up. Doc, I forget the name of the doctor and it, but I looked him up because I thought, oh, Doctor on Bonanza, that guy's going to get some
work.
Like Doc on Little House on the Prairie? Yeah, right. See come back again and again? Well,
that actor did return six times to Bonanza, but never again as the doctor. Well, that is a thing that happens on banan. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, th. Nobody was ever going to say,
hey, that preacher was a doctor four years ago.
They don't care.
Bring them back.
He was good.
Yeah.
I love it.
Surely no one in 58 years will be Well now one thing I was thinking, television used to be smaller in those days. People might not have really had a real chance to say, is that the same actor?
Yes.
Well, they did have the internet movie database back in the 50s, I think.
Oh, they did?
Oh, they did?
Oh, yeah.
A point.
Yeah, long, theymeak. could easily become a doctor or at whatever, a mailman, or you didn't need to go to all these online schools.
Yeah, that's true.
That's actually true.
Many more opportunities in the long distance past.
All right, so anyways, they bring her back,
she sees a doctor.
Doctor comes out and what does he say?
Well, here's the thing, we get the feeling, or we understand, that she's only got four months to live.
But Haas doesn't know that.
No, he's dumb.
He's simple, he's cow simple.
He's so simple.
And he goes up there and he wants her to stay in the Ponderosa,
but she's gonna go back to San Francisco to die.
And what a place. And, uh, you can still have a to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. Yeah, to. to. Yeah, to. to. to. to be to. to. to. to be to to tho. That's a good point.
You know, you can still have a full, loving, connected physical relationship in hospice.
Do you know of any hospice love stories?
Well, I went to a hospice brothel one time.
A hospice? It was, it was as good as I've ever had.
Are the prostitutes all in hospice? Yes, sir. Yes, bro- you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you you, you you, you you, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you th you, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you can, you you, you th th th th th th th th th th th th. And they're working for the money to leave to their-
Well, and for the level the game.
Oh, oh, I've got it.
Well, maybe they're working. That's not a bad idea. A hospice that's also a brothel and you're paying down your coffee in your burial site. Uh-huh. Whole chain of them. Oh yeah, a franchise actually.
Well, that's America for you there. Who had that idea? I love it. I love it. Well, and she says,
he wants to go join her in San Francisco and she says, you're needed on the Ponderosa, that's for sure. They need a giant. They need. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. the their. Oh. going to Horseshoe Canyon. Going to Horseshoe Canyon. Yeah but apparently in one
end and out the other. You don't have to have genitals to have sex. Is that that right? No. Okay. Well, the streets of San Francisco was a show in the 50s. Okay. Yeah, and they show you
what it's like. Oh, it was set in the 50s, but... Right. Did I answer your question? No.
Okay. Haas says he's gonna, in the spring, he wants to see her at the horseshue
can and she says I'll be there. thrush will be did. She'll be did. And she knows it.
And then she says, I love you, Haas. And man, it's the first time anybody's ever told him that creature, that gigantic, hideous gorgon of a beast.
Does she come back to the ghost? Maybe. Ghost of Miss Penny. Well, so then he finds out she's going to die. And he storms out of the ranch house. th. And little. And little. And little. the ranch house and little Joe wants to go after him to comfort his brother but
Paul stops him and he says I've buried three wives and then he lists him
little Joe's heard this before I'm thinking but he goes ahead and he lists all
three of the wives that he buried. Very the staircase. Yeah.
Do we do have their names?
The names of his wives?
Yeah. No, he didn't name them either. He might not know.
He went, he named, he said, your mama,
hoss's mama, and Adam's mama.
I believe that was a casting choice, like casting was like, we love these brothers. They don't look th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thin, th. thin, thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, they. tho, tho, their, their, their, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names, the names. the names. the names. the names. their, their, their, their, their, their, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. they names, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, the names of the names of the names, no, no write around that. Yeah. That's a decent theory. I don't know. Either way we all win. I think they just like, you know,
it's important to have that idea in your mind to Ben Cartwright physically, personally
burying these women. Anyway, he says, I'm buried all three of these women. It's a weight you have to carry alone, he says. And he prevents little Joe from going to his brother.
And then, by the way, the fact that he keeps talking about it makes me think that it's not
a weight that he's carrying a loan.
But anyway, horse goes off, we don't know where.
And when he comes back, the brothers are all working out there, and he comes back,
and he goes right up to talk.
He's really thought it to to to up to Paul like ready to talk ready to talk. He's really thought it through. Gentle Giant, it's got something to say to his paw. His paw's a man who has lost people he loves
and he's gonna confide to him too and then Paul puts a shovel in his hand and says go to work.
And he does and Paul gets a smile on his face like darn it I did it. I got the emotion out of the emotion. A rhythm of emotion.
I prevented him from feeling this feeling.
That's just how it is.
That's just the way to, that's the way to be a father.
Yeah, it actually, it gave me pause.
Gave me pause.
Yeah, it's, um, I get the way would probably refer to that nowadays,
it's like toxic masculinity. What th. What, what, what, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th and, th and, th and, th and, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, I tho, thi, tho, I tho, I tho, that's just, that's just, that's just, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, th. That's, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tha, tha. That's just just just just just, that's just just just just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, just, that's just, that's just, that's just, that's just, that we would probably refer to that nowadays, this is like toxic masculinity. What? What are you talking?
No, no, no, let's be clear.
Like, when I was a young boy, growing up and I'd smile, my daddy put a 9-volt on my
tongue and make me stop smiling.
Oh, no.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Did your dad play the knife. Oh no. And you can't scream. Look at this. Oh my God.
Oh my God.
I need not notice that.
Well, speaking of new concepts, there's sort of a concept going around in the zeitgeist
that basically says that some of the old troops of masculinity that are basically
preventing men from living emotionally healthy lives
because they're always trying to be
a certain specific kind of man.
You're damn right.
Are you from the future?
I, yeah, I think so.
Based on everything I've heard you guys say, yes.
What did you say that that was cold?
Toxic masculinity.
Well, then that's what I believe in. I try to be soft like a sweater. to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like to listen, like that that was cold? Toxic masculinity. Well, then that's what I believe in. I try to be soft like a sweater and just listen to men.
Yeah, that's your role.
Yes.
We've got something to say and listen to it.
You repeat back exactly what they said,
and then you say their name a lot while you're saying it.
Yeah, let's try it. Dalton, I really like your show. So what are you, what are you excited about Dalton?
And then I just quietly listen over here, like a soft sweater. Yeah. You know, I do want to say
really quickly, but I'm starting to feel a little sad that we've only got 427 episodes left.
I'm feeling the end. Okay, yeah, we've only got 427 episodes left. I'm feeling the end.
Okay, yeah, we've been doing this for the contractually agreed upon amount of time.
I'd be interesting to see because this whole series goes the course, it goes into the 70s, right?
1973.
I'm not super familiar with the show, it's like interesting to see how the show changes
and evolves. I'm scary. I know, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to, to, th, th, th, th, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, I'm, I'm the, I'm the, I'm the, I'm the, I'm the, I'm the, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, the the thi, th see how the show like changes and evolves. I'm scary. I know, I know. Because at some point they got to do a bottle episode or a clip show.
Well, listen, I do do some Christmas episodes, but I don't want to spoil anything for you
mail, but this show does not evolve.
That's the great thing about it.
Now folks, we've got a Twitter and an...
God damn. A Twiter? Huh? A Twitter? Huh? A Twitter. We're on Twitoms and
Instagrams and Instigards. It's called, well you want to find us there it's what do you

We sure so are.
We're going to do bonus episodes where we take questions for people and we just answer questions
for however damn long we feel like.
