Once upon a time, there existed a peaceful village. Eventually, inevitably, an evil army, led by a villainous man, came and took that which wasn't his. And though his reign was terrible, it too didn't last. For a brave girl with glass slippers, snuck into the man's castle, and took back that which didn't belong to him. For her bravery, the village made her their leader. And for her grace, they gave her a name. The hero's sword holds the key, the damsel shows the door. The dragon then reveals the lair where there was no lair before. See, so just forever on this thing, Adam's given us a riddle and my brain has shut down.

The flames begin to catch the second half of the desk, and you need to open windows as it is completely engulfed.

You should probably get them out of the house, I would say. I kick the desks outside the window. You will take fire damage. It is Tiffany like they erupted in the flames almost immediately. Is it the danger to the things in the room? No, most of the room is made out of metal. Okay, well fine. You just need to open some windows to stop the smoke out.

The darkness spell- It's magical darkness. Yeah, you won't be able to see through it either. But can the lights go on it? Also, the minute we do it, I'll disappear. I love the amount of effort that has gone into avoiding waiting seven hours.

It is a single star in the dead centre of the night sky. All other constellations rotate around it. It doesn't move, no matter where you are. All right, let's head down.

of you wander into the garden. Thudu and then head towards the hedge maze, obviously. Thudu looks around, obviously realizes she can't see you, Pop. Where is he? I'm right here. By the gods. It's a thing I can do. Whatever, push me. She lets go of the wheels, leans back and expects you to push her. Perfect. I was just gonna be holding onto one of his belts, hopefully without him knowing, but this is much easier.

It is a war hammer, a weapon of war, but it looks like it's ceramic. It's a beautiful, oh, you wouldn't be able to see the color in dark vision. It looks ceramic and you can tell that it has a floral pattern on it But that's all that you can make out right now. God. I hope this warhammer survives. It sounds gorgeous Come on to say in the day Tiffany. I'm not gonna make you roll. You've done this a million times You know the path you have I want to say maybe 15 minutes of quiet reflection in the maze as you're guiding your way through. Like I said, it's a big maze. It takes about 15 minutes to navigate and you know the way.

It's upsetting the whole time for me. I need everyone to know. I'm like, yeah, I was trying really, really hard to solve the maze. I was focusing really hard. God, I was not very happy. I was so sad. I was so sad. I was so stressed. I was alone. I didn't know what lonely felt like because I didn't know what it didn't feel like yet.

On your way through, you find a little tuft of fuzz stuck to one of the... A little tuft of fuzz stuck to the hedge maze itself. The dragon is rearing almost as if it's about to breathe flames, but it is made of stone. It will never and could never breathe flames. Wink. Wink. The plinth it is on is far larger than the hero or damsels one. And as I said, has those gorgeous constellations all around it.

These ones are just the stars, not the representation as well. Well, he cared about this one a lot more than the other two. You get the, actually, you would know this with a careful eye, this statue is older than the other two. It's, no, sorry, the plinth is older than the statue and the other two combined. And the statue is older than the other two. The, no, sorry, the plinth, the plinth is very old. It's made out of a different stone and is clearly predates everything else. Oh, this is really fucking old. Like I'm talking, this is a different stonework.

out and take it with me to a museum. I start pressing on the satyr pipes. You press on that, you find the satyr pipes, you press on it and it neatly clicks in and remains clicked in. Gorgeous. Let's go sprite. Same thing happens. Let's go's go sprite. Same thing happens. Let's go leaping dog.

Same thing happens. And the mid star. When you input the last one, the entire statue begins slowly pivoting, plinth included, begins slowly pivoting on the spot. And then you notice that it also slowly begins to sink into the earth until finally, underneath the statue, a set of spiral stairs, ancient stone stairs, slowly reveal themselves leading

into, despite the fact you have dark vision, something about this darkness feels heavier and more oppressive. Something vile is beneath you. Have you ever seen the steps to go up the leaning tower of Pisa? Yeah. Imagine a set of stone steps with a divot in them where someone would have stepped that is, it's just stepping on them over and over and over again. So many times they've worn down.

It's worn, yeah. There's literally almost, it looks like a channel that water would funnel down. You can't just warn. You know how sometimes specific types of old buildings, the spaces are just smaller? Yeah. Yeah. That's the that is these stairs, two people, one person would need to almost be turned sideways to walk down it. It's very tight.

Jesus. It's also stairs. Yeah. I look at food. Jesus. It's also stairs. Yeah. I look at Thudu. She gives a big sigh. You're gonna have to carry. I didn't want to be rude. I'm glad you suggested it.

It would have been impolite. This is going to look so funny for me. She takes her backpack and then neatly inverts it. And as soon as it is inverted you realise it doubles as a papoose. This is not the first time she has been worn. Doing that and putting her in there does it just look like- No it's not front it's behind-

Because actually I think Thudu becomes invisible as well. No! Yeah, no, I'd say you could turn that off if you want. Yeah, absolutely. I don't know how, but maybe just by willing it. It's literally a magical ability. So yeah, I think you could just turn it on and off. I am. Just like a what?

If Thutu goes on your back and goes invisible, and that's what happens. Yeah. Then you get to pick me up and we both go invisible sometimes. Oh, that's true. I mean, I could turn it on and off. So you can make the choice. You can pick Tiffany up and then you both go invisible together. Yeah.

Does Suda become invisible as well? Yeah, I would say so. I put her on and just... Oh, right. Because of the... Hang on. It's probably a bit easier. Um, there's just like a, my name and then I'm visible.

Traveling down, you notice almost immediately the temperature just tanks. It goes from a, I would say a like a moderate spring night to maybe like a moderate autumn night into full on winter. Okay.

It is cold and you begin when you breathe, you begin seeing little puffs of steam that your breath is creating. I mean, I don't want to be a, you know, a voice of doom, but this place is maybe one of the most cursed places I've ever walked into. I can't believe it was under my house the whole time. Can't you? Your father kept many secrets. I used to play here.

You couldn't have known. How could you have? You were but a child and he an absent father. Father's a stretch. She, Thudha doesn't say anything, but you just feel. I feel her nodding. You feel her nodding in agreement.

You can see, it definitely looks ceramic. It is a blue and silver pattern. Ooh, pretty. Does it look like the fine china that nans have? They have like the Japanese figures and temples on them. It's got big fine china parts. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And as I said, a floral pattern,

a quite nice floral pattern, like on the, where the edges of the hammer are. It's a very squarish hammer. Does it look like it smashed stuff before? Hard to say. Looks like Thudu keeps it quite well maintained. You can see, actually, you know what? In fact, yeah, you can tell there's a sheen of polish on it. If it has been used to smash skulls, Thudu cleaned

it afterwards. Hmm. Well, she's got time. It looks beautiful. Oh God, I hope it stays intact. God, I hope it's not ceramic. Or if it is, it's the kind of magic ceramic that makes it more powerful than steel. The stairs eventually bottom out and you stand, it doesn't feel like the light is as bright as it once was. You can see, you feel like you can almost literally watch as the edges of the light begin to creep in towards you. And this is as you're going down. By the time you get to the bottom, it feels, the light feels very small indeed. The darkness here is oppressive.

A weight, but not a welcome one. A almost suffocating weight. Does it have texture? Yes. Like if I can, not like running your hands, but can you almost run your hands through this darkness? Is it thick? You-

Viscous. You reach out and you make the horrific discovery that you literally can run your hands through this darkness. Is it thick? You- Viscous. Uh, but maybe don't touch it. Does Holy Avenger do anything if I hold it near it? Holy Avenger, if you draw it out, on approaching the darkness,

Holy Avenger vibrates a little bit, like it's maybe anticipation, maybe fear. That stuff scares my soul. Fucking hell. Yeah, I think this one's gonna be nasty, Horns. I reckon so. I draw Cinder. As you're drawing your spear, and I cannot describe to you the base low-level horror

of what you are looking at, despite the mundanity of it. It is a stone walls, rough stone walls, very obviously worked, made by human hands or equivalent hands, but very- Or equivalent. Very like rough. There's no effort really been put into making this look nice. The floor here is just dirt. You are standing in dirt.

You can smell dirt. And there is a little in the wall ahead of you, a little archway. Just beyond, you see only darkness. The light cannot penetrate that far in. The darkness feels like the surroundings, your surroundings are so tight and small, but, and you would only imagine that the next space is going to be similarly tight and small, but the darkness gives you the illusion that it could stretch for miles. It's impossible to see. And the expectation, the unknown of what that darkness hides, feels malevolent. When you draw Cinder Tiffany, the spear immediately, without you trying to do anything, it slowly drifts and points its way through that hole, through that worked arch in the stone.

Okay, so a fun game that I play when I'm at the beach sometimes and I have goggles or a snorkel on. And it's a fun game. You go out into the ocean and you just look. Just look out into the ocean as far as you can for as long as you can without getting the heebie-jeebies. It does not take very long because it's just infinite. It's so much water. It's just blue and it just goes forever and there could be anything in it and is that what it is, Adam? Is that the feeling we're getting? Yeah. You're good. I hate this. I hate you. And Cinder doesn't do anything to light that at all. No, Cinder doesn't light it. It looks, it feels almost like Cinder is urging you forwards, but with a, there's a determined
