I think it's like having that your piece has finally gotten to me and like I hear people I kind of try to talk at the same time like the the stroke lady. Did you play Assassin's Creed? Relevations I love red versus blue Relevations
Starting point is 00:01:33 Relevations on Bernie tonight. You are Bernie. Clearly you are Bernie. Wow Bernie had to cancel you got a camera all to yourself. Yeah, that's all right. Oh So now it's on you. Don't screw this up, Gavin. Everybody's watching. It's been a long time coming. But we're finally a big boy. We got Ray and Jack here. Hey, I'm Ray.
Starting point is 00:01:51 I'm Ray and or Jack. That's Ray. I'm Jack. So we're here to this week. We got to make sure we talk about podcast awards, which you did nominations for. Do you have the list, right? I've got the list right here.
Starting point is 00:02:01 Because I've got nothing to us. I'm prepared. I'm running on MTA over here. I'm totally prepared. I'm ready to carry this shit I don't know what else we got to talk about we'll come up we're gonna oh right away Barbara kept wanting me to mention that applications to be a Guardian RTX next year are now open good at RTX of it dot com slash guardians you can fill out a form and maybe you'll be selected to be our slay for do we have a do we have an
Starting point is 00:02:24 idea of how many we're gonna use this I think last year we had a hundred right yeah, we're doing a lot more than that. Yeah, no kidding. We're not exact number yet We're gonna have a good one so if you're 11 and have no experience, please send in for no We live in France. You must be at least 18 and be able to fill out a web for Which that's a lot for some people. Don't even need a lot of people. That's a good low-barred You've got to type in some stuff and hit a button to submit and then once you get Passed what are you doing? Someone. Someone. It was really good. Yeah, no kidding. Someone. I have said this beer in the mail today.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Friend of Jill from Michigan. They said it's a micro group up there and I thought the bottles were so huge and ridiculous that I had to bring it on the Pieces. So you got like that's like a 40 right? I mean, that's not I mean, I've got like I'm prepared over here. Do I'm ready for December 1st? We're gonna. Gus has three giant bottles. We're gonna go to the math That's like a 40 right? I mean, that's not I mean, I've got like I'm prepared over here Do I'm ready for the same request? We're gonna guess has three giant bomb. We're gonna go to the mattresses man. We're fucking set over here The head is you know, you know what that means go to the mattresses. You know, that's from good bed Did you ever do the Edwood father the razor, not the blade. It's not mine, it's Bernie's son. Oh, that kid's a bad kid. That's fine, I'll over it. Did you ever do the Edward 40 hands thing? You did. I did, because I was a chump and everyone was like,
Starting point is 00:03:31 hey, you should do this. Okay, please explain when Edward 40 hands is for those who might not know. Well, sorry, it was probably like four years ago, but there were bottles similar to that size, and they were taped to my hands. 40 on bottles. Yeah, there you go. 40 flaws.
Starting point is 00:03:43 What? And the flaws. Yeah, there you go. 40 flaws. What? The flaws. Yeah, I said that I knew what he was talking about. I've said that I'm excited to continue. And the night was a complete blur. I didn't, I don't think I even finished one actually. So you didn't explain the yeah, you have to, you have to drink.
Starting point is 00:03:58 So you can't touch anything else either. You cannot be removed from your hands. You have to tape until you finish both. All I know is the next day I found a picture of me on Facebook where the freezer is open and I'm knelt down with my hands in the ice because I guess the drinks got kind of warm and room temperature.
Starting point is 00:04:12 So this is that there. With like gimp hands. Where was it at? Jess House. Yeah, I remember that. I don't know. You know that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:20 You've been you had to go to the bathroom for a year and you know how to go? I just got there. Did someone help me? Yeah. Who was a lucky person? I don't remember. Oh, man. I've been drinking as well.
Starting point is 00:04:27 But you know what, I'm going to go to the bathroom with you. I think someone undid my flies and slightly tugged it down and I wiggle the rest. Yeah. How'd you get it back up? Yeah, that I get it back up. Then you're like, well, for real. Well, you can kind of, with you.
Starting point is 00:04:37 It's a different kind of part of that. With your legs, you can kind of chimy trousers up your legs, can't you? Really? Why are you asking me? I'm not. Wait, wait, wait. So if you had your pants around your ankles, you think you can get them back trousers up your legs, Connie. Really? Well, you asked me. Oh, nice. Wait, do it. So if you had your pants around your ankles, you think you can get them back up around your hips.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah, you do this. So we try that. Then this. And then you, you know, let's fight it. Let's try it. I'm not going to come on. So you put on some shorts underneath. What if my John Thomas pulls that?
Starting point is 00:04:59 Well, then that's your problem. Not the J.T. And I mean, we'll get care out here. She can explain it again. Oh, that was Jeff's dick. Sorry, she's Jeff's not not gabs dick. I just never told you I got love but it was in Jeff's anyway. Great one. I remember the guy who got your dick mixed up. The guy who mailed us all this beer said that in return all he wanted was a shout out from Ray.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Oh yeah. Which I thought was really bizarre because you don't drink. I don't drink at all. You also don't ever do shout out. No really. Never even do it. He's king of showers. No. Oh. Okay. Absolutely not. Sorry dude. Sorry. Where's mine? Guy who sends beer. He sent me a water bottle. He's like one of these. I've heard of orange juice. Yeah. Do you want to do Edwin Poehans with just water? Yeah. I can do that. See how you're going to take it. Oh no. Oh no. He's got a home room of water at home. I've been stilling this for weeks. Have you ever made your in beer? You did?
Starting point is 00:05:50 Was it good? It was okay. It was like a... It's actually a cost effective, or is it just... No, it's never fun. It's like... So the thing that was most surprising to me when I had to make my own beer was how... What do you mean you had to?
Starting point is 00:06:02 Well, when I had my own beer. You had to. You were like forced to. Exactly. Like how crazy, diligent, you had to? Well, when I did my own beer. Uh, what I had to. You were like forced to. Exactly, like how crazy diligent you have to be about cleaning everything. And like every step you have to re-steroize everything over and over. You put the gloves on.
Starting point is 00:06:14 It was really pain. It's like breaking that, right? Yeah. You get your suit on. But it was, I mean, it's not cost-effective, and you have to wait like, you're like, oh boy, I can't wait to drink this beer in three weeks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:27 What was the name of your beer? Gus and Brow. No, I didn't get to the point. That's like, I think it's pretty cheap. I don't remember if the brand name was like a Mr. Beer Kid or something. Oh wow, sounds legit. Sounds really good. It's like a shitty looking
Starting point is 00:06:46 like plastic brown keg. You put everything in there. Like a donkey come down. Yeah, exactly. So it looks like it's like this big. I think it holds like five liters. Now we had a fan one time who mailed us a book that was like how to brew at home.
Starting point is 00:07:00 And he put in like a $50 gift card to some like online site where you could buy all the stuff to do it. That was kind of cool. Oh, that's me. Yeah, I don't know what happened to that, who took it, but someone stole it. Don't you ever think about drinking or eating something fans give you? I don't like to eat homemade stuff. Okay. Just because you know where it came from or how clean the kitchen was. Unless it's beer. And then you're fine. Yeah, unless it's beer that I made. Oh, that's sealed for my protection.
Starting point is 00:07:22 That is true. I forgot to hook your piece to my shirt. so I've got to be a little professional here for second IPs So I guess we should probably get started with these Podcast awards do that that's gonna be some arguments I guess this is bad because we only have four of us Well, we might have it we might have a tie the thing is the thing about the podcast awards is that under your votes count Yeah, sure well you can argue with me and we'll have a discussion about it, but fuck you guys. Have you ever been swayed on your decision? I don't know. I don't remember. Typically, I don't remember much about the award shows.
Starting point is 00:07:53 I don't even remember what it meant. Not to fucking trophies. Or make them for that. I mean, so I mean, I never made more after the ones that I never sent out. We did send out the first year. Yeah. The second year, you made them made them by didn't ship them out in the third year's theme of makeup. So this will be the fourth year. Yes, it's second decade. Yes, second decade, first century, first century. Let's see here. What?
Starting point is 00:08:15 Right, right clearly is a huge fan of the RT Pod. Yeah. Why don't we just start with best TV shows? I feel like we're going to get some more. This is going to be the hot one. So I think it comes out. It's normal. Let me re go over. I feel like we're gonna get some more. This is gonna be the hot one. So I think it comes down to two. Oh, hold on, let me re-go over. I'm gonna go over.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I'm gonna go over the night. I'm gonna go over. All right, I'll sit here to help my home. Jumping the jumpers in over here. So we have Breaking Bad, Homeland, Louis, Game of Thrones. I saw Louis CK do stand up. Oh yeah, that's right. Oh, how was it here?
Starting point is 00:08:42 It was really interesting. No, good, that sounds like there's more to it. Did you see him on Friday? No, I saw him on Thursday. I feel like he was trolling the crowd, if that makes sense. Really? So he came out and left the people in the crowd. It's an awesome musical.
Starting point is 00:08:58 Or, no, it was the ACL live. It was full, I don't know. It's a bit out of a number of grand, 2000? All right. That's good. He referred to a couple I'm going to tell jokes and we'll go from there. He said, you know, a lot of my humor is very, is normally like, like, very acute observations. He said acute instead of a stute. Uh, in the triangles. Yeah, he said, you remember it. Um, he, uh, he, uh, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm based on very acute observations.
Starting point is 00:09:32 He said, so it's, try to mix things up. I'm going to try to make jokes based on broad observations. That was like, okay. Something he's like, like, for example, a broad observation might be cars are much, much faster than people. And I was like, what? Yeah, you take like an 84-hundred-savage, they'd be the shit out of you, same bolt.
Starting point is 00:09:53 No matter how you give you the same bolt to five-minute head start, it was like, and people were like falling out of their chairs laughing. And I was like, okay. Yeah, I was like, that's not that funny. And then this follow- fellow was like another observation Another broad observation is babies are much younger than old people And then like everyone was cracking up, but that's like you walk out
Starting point is 00:10:12 So I felt like since people laughed at those like dumb jokes that he told us like the dumb set Yeah, he got really good at the Like he comes out and like test the water is like Well, I guess we're going for these drinks Like the last 20 minutes were awesome like it's like the typical stuff that he does He comes out and like test the water. I guess, well, I guess we're going for these drinks. Yeah, Emily, what was right? Like the last 20 minutes were awesome. Like it's like the typical stuff that he does. It was like he killed it at the end.
Starting point is 00:10:29 But I felt like early on, there was a lot of weird stuff that I was set. About an hour and a half? A lot of cool. There was one opener, who came out for like 15 minutes. Yeah. I didn't recognize him. I don't know who it was from.
Starting point is 00:10:39 Some dickhead probably, right? Yes, it was some dickhead. I think it was me. But I'm glad I went. It was really cool to see him, you know, perform. Yeah. I like seeing people in real life just having just to be able to say that like my actual eyes Saw the light bouncing off him. Yes Yeah, and we had really good seats too. We were like on the balcony But like right in the center in the first row. So it was like we could just look like right down
Starting point is 00:10:59 He was like right in front of us like that was one of his it was weird for, when I went to see the auditions of America's Got Talent, which I didn't care about at all, but just like seeing how it's done with my actual eyes was kind of cool. It was a cool feeling. Yeah, no, do you go to concerts a lot? No, no. I've actually only seen live music once in my life. Really? I was just in Timberlake.
Starting point is 00:11:17 What? It's Talented Man. Are you serious? I'm dead serious. What did you see him? Ah, a massive quirk going. Wow. Like, did you wear that shirt? I'm dead serious. What did you see him? I'm a master's court guard. Wow.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Like, did you wear that shirt? I wish I did. Wait, was that intentional? Or did someone say, hey, I want to go to the girlfriend at the time? Oh, OK. But I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Yeah. He's a performer.
Starting point is 00:11:35 He's a did an anti-Sambering show up and do a Dic na box. No, I wish. OK. Who did you see? Well, I've changed it because originally I'd only seen live music once. It was before a comedian came out. And I saw Rickley perform, I'm never going to give you up and that was my only experience with a live singer. Well you're done at that point right?
Starting point is 00:11:51 But then I went to Fun Fun Fest here in Austin, I saw Girl Talk. Which was amazing. And I was pretty crazy. I'm pretty sure Justin Timberlake was better. Well, it's a bit of a bum. Okay, anyway, we got side tracking these days. Best TV show. Breaking bad, homeland, Louis, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Always Sunny, Philadelphia, and Key and Peale.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Alright, so what were you saying? I was saying I think it's going to come down between two. Okay. I think it's going to come down between Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. Okay. Those are mine two favor on that list. Those are both really, really incredible. Yeah, I'm a throes. Walking dead. What do you think? Game of Thrones, it wins. And the reason is, is that I don't think this year's Breaking Bad
Starting point is 00:12:35 was as good as the previous Breaking Bad. Are you kidding me? Well, also. This game's breaking it. That was amazing. I didn't see it. Well, that's what I'm going to go with. You didn't see it?
Starting point is 00:12:43 I still have episode one and two. How can you say it's not as good there? Yeah, because he's a dick, that's why that's how I can say it. Okay, I was picking your opinion until you said that. I saw it. It's definitely a reset. It's like a reset season. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Everything's end of season four is like an ending. Yeah, everything was so wound up with the gust-freeing storyline that this was a little slower but building for the next half of the season. Yeah. Which I think it's gonna be awesome. Yeah, yeah, I mean, like, but this, the next half of the season. I think it's going to be awesome. Yeah, yeah, I mean, like, but the first half of the season, like the cliffhanger that happens at the end of this first half is just like, oh my god, what are they going to do next? Like, where is it going to go from here?
Starting point is 00:13:14 And actually, like last night, I watched Dexter, which we didn't have on the list, but Dexter is fantastic this season. And same sort of deal where it's like, then like, I can't wait for the next season now. Literally just wrapped up on Sunday. And it's, Dan, that's a good show. But Game of Thrones is excellent. Don't get me wrong. But I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:29 It started really strong. It does what Game of Thrones does, where it feels like it peeks early. And then at the end of it, it's kind of like, bro, sort of. And we could do a good test here. Which show has more boobs and full frontal nudity and that kind of thing?
Starting point is 00:13:42 Walking dead. We call that BPH. it's boobs per hour. Right, it's BPH. And Game of Thrones is significantly higher. But we should have done, we should have had like, like, sexual, sexual sex graphics that come up on the screen, like a podcast winner, a Game of Thrones, like the swords and everything,
Starting point is 00:13:57 but the beauty of it. I want to those blowers, like, it's a confetti drop it down. You get your earthquake kit, right? We can get the little poppers. Oh, yeah, the poppers are ready. Are you? I'm ready. So in the on it. Oh, yeah, the poppers are real. Are you?
Starting point is 00:14:05 I'm ready. So in the whirlens. Oh, yeah, we should. No, if you're talking about boobs and TV, the indexer would have crushed that category. There was a whole, like, you can just watch porn. Like the first six episodes, like, the large section took place at a strip club.
Starting point is 00:14:16 So before we started the podcast, we were putting different music on to listen to. And you had some shitty dubstep song on it. I was like, it wasn't shitty. It was shitty. It was much better than gun. I was like, it wasn't shitty. It was so shitty. Much better than Gunn's. I really hate when I drop the bass.
Starting point is 00:14:28 On YouTube, I did a search for shitty music. And like the second, well, the first return was like, Hitler reacts to shitty music. Because I'm not going to play that. The next one was like, weird Japanese girl death. Yeah, it was an Asian girl in a bikini with, which you know, the... It wasn't even a bikini.
Starting point is 00:14:42 They were pasty. She was wearing a lot of like tape over her boobs and a a hospital mask and she was bouncing around and dancing to some weird music it's like yeah we have a winner no i don't think we can stream that you can search for it home yeah i just thought walking decks that's what i saw i don't watch a lot of tv yeah that's a good thing we have you on the panel yeah don't ever admit you don't know about something.
Starting point is 00:15:06 Like to be honest with the people. The good thing is, it's kind of weird to say, like, oh yeah, vagina and boobs and all that. But that was a lot of penis as well. For the people who like penis is there's a lot of flaccid cock in the game of Thrones as well. Everyone loves flaccid cock. Loves it. Everyone's lining up around the block for that.
Starting point is 00:15:23 No, I mean, there are some good shows. I mean, key and peels are really, really funny. Everyone's climbing up around the block for that. No, I mean, there are some good shows. I mean, key and appeals really, really funny. It's always sunny. Michael and I watched. It's always sunny, too, and from LA last week. And it's been a really good... Did you watch together on the plane? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Well, it's not what it's the same time. But, I mean, that was a great season. Yeah, I mean, all of these shows are really solid. I've heard nothing but good about Homeland Land. Like, my sister and brother-in-law, they love home land. I'm very indifferent be good about homeland. Like my sister and brother, they love home land. I'm very indifferent towards homeland personally. Like I don't, it's a solid show, but I don't get the hype. It's not, I don't think it's as good as Game of Thrones.
Starting point is 00:15:53 I don't think it's as good as Breaking Bad. Like if I had a choice to watch Homelander, Louie had to watch Louie. Like I look at every other show on this list and I'd probably watch it any of them before home land. Yeah, see, that's why I think like something like key in peel won't do as well or even like it's always sunny because there's not like this sort of the overarching threads those shows, you
Starting point is 00:16:09 know, where's like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad is like definitely one big story. But that could be a hindrance as well. No. If you think it's hard to pick up one of you or say, or if you miss it, you're fucked. But that's the thing, you can, but you invest so much more. So like I know like I'm more passionate about breaking bad and Game of Thrones that I would be about any of those other shows because you can sit down and watch any episode of Key and Peel and be like, okay, that was funny. But it's not like if you missed something,
Starting point is 00:16:29 oh my god, it's it. And same thing with like, you know, it's always sunny. Are there any, I guess there are, I was just going to ask a stupid question. What's that? It seems like nowadays, any serious dramatic series is always like told in a serial format where there's like backstory and you have to watch everything It's weird to have like one-off episodes, but like law and order does it like that where there's no real overarching story It's just individual. You know what like actually um French every now and then they'll throw in sort of these one-off episodes or like you know an alternate future And they'll kind of do stuff like that where it's like this could have happened and this really doesn't have a
Starting point is 00:17:00 A whole lot to do with the main sort of story. That's awful. It's kind of cool. It's like like a filler episode Well, I mean it's I don't know like in that universe it works main sort of story. It's kind of like a filler episode. Well, I mean, it's, I don't know, like in that universe, it works though, because like there's so many different paths you can take, and it's like, okay, that's kind of cool. I like that show. Scooby Doo did that. The Harlem Globetrotters. Phil is a killer. All right, so Game of Thrones season two is going to win.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Game of the R.T. Have already won. Oh, it's not going to win. It's going to win. Has won the R.T. podcast. TV show of the year. You've seen it here first. It's I know it's available on Blu-ray and DVD in February.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I don't know that today because Joel wanted to buy it and we went to Best Buy and like it's not looked online. It's like, oh, yeah, it's not coming out. Yeah, that's what they did with the season one DVD. The season or the season one disc. The season one disc didn't come out to arrive before season two started. Oh, yeah. So I see them doing the same thing now. We're seeing two comes out before three.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Bloody way to the end of season two, didn't it? What's that? Game of Thrones was really weird at the end of the last season. The whole mythical and stuff. Oh right. Yeah. Well, I mean, but they started the show like that. Like, like we actually Joel and I had a conversation about this day where it's they start the first episode of Game of Thrones season one. Very kind of like they said the tone is like there is some, you know, mystical shit going on. There's magic stuff magic stuff and it's like all right. It's that universe and they kind of get away from it for a while Yeah, it's cool. They actually start with that. Yeah, you're not that shocked when they're a giant dragon Yeah, then it's like a woman is giving birth with giant dust
Starting point is 00:18:16 Monster thing, but it's like like the dragon eggs like the dragon eggs He thinks like oh those are just symbolic. It's like oh wait. No, there's those were fucking dragon eggs Like those are real dragon eggs boiler alert. Yeah, but dragon eggs symbolic of. Well, not anything maybe like, because you see them like the giant like stone-looking things like, oh, okay, maybe they're just like, you know, for show. No, show. Oh, show. What does it give birth to? But it's cool. They handle very very sweet. Congratulations, game. Congratulations. People watching. Hurray boobs. All All right What should we go with next let's do best best movie So we had it was gonna be a hard one. Yeah, it is
Starting point is 00:18:53 Avengers dark night rises Rekit Ralph looper the gray Hobbit and silver linings playbook. I'm seeing hobbit tonight You saw hobbit the other day, didn't you, right? Yeah, thoughts? It was really good. Did you see it? I had 48 for you.
Starting point is 00:19:08 You see 3D? No, I just saw it. Normal 2D. We talked about it, but I'm like, I just want to watch the movie. I don't want to have to worry about all that stuff. So you did 2D 24 frames. Yeah, OK.
Starting point is 00:19:18 And I don't remember anything from the book. I read it years ago. And by red, I mean, I did Spark Notes for a project. So I kind of read it. And I know I enjoyed it all the way through okay so it was good nice spark notes it was like cliff notes yeah you don't know what that is either it's like like if you needed to do a book report for example and you don't want to read the whole book you buy like this little pamphlet that's like 30 or 40 pages long it summar It's TLDR in book four right basically Yeah, that's
Starting point is 00:19:51 Really so I'm seeing the other 3D 48 frames thing tonight So I'm curious to see how that goes. I like I don't know. I'm going in prejudice against it But we'll see I'm gonna give it a shot so it should be prejud prejudiced against it. Like I know we've been concerned about it, but I feel like maybe we're... Well, I mean, I know. The only thing I can think of that's close to that is when like the TV's I do 120 Hertz or whatever, it has that weird sort of like adding in frames
Starting point is 00:20:14 between normal frames and you know, dealing with that, I always turn that off immediately on my TV. This looks wrong. And I know this is supposed to look like that. It's like, I'm nervous that it's like, if it's too sharp's like, it's too sharp. Yeah, just that alone. I'm like, I'm just going to watch it and you know, I'm, yeah, that's what's called in normal. If you want to, if you go to 48 frames and you want to watch 24 frames, just blink really fast, and you'll see every other frame, right? That's really enjoyable.
Starting point is 00:20:39 It blinked 24 times in a second. Yeah, no problem. I'll knock that right out. Fucking it. All right. So has anyone seen several linings playbook here. No, that was Bernie Yeah, I hear it offended so I get the feeling it's not gonna win. Yeah, I heard you a dough. What do you what's your vote? I don't have a vote. I haven't I've seen two of those movies and I don't think they were that good pick one of the two What were they against I really want to see Lupus. I'm gonna vote for that. I really want to see Lupus. I'm going to vote for that. You really want to see Lupus somewhere? Is that even one of the two you saw? No, I know. What two did you see? Donut Rises and what was the other one? Avengers. I don't
Starting point is 00:21:14 want to vote for either the race to be honest. Really? Avengers is good. Avengers is good. Avengers is good. Avengers is good. I'm just going to take my pick. Mindlessly good. So Lupur Avengers. I go Avengers. Avengers? I think what was your vote? I would vote looper. Really? Yeah. Looper was good. Looper was really good.
Starting point is 00:21:31 It was an interesting take on the whole idea of time travel. The adventure is good. It's like a good popcorn movie, but you think a little more with looper. I love time travel. I love the idea of the adventures. How big of an undertaking that movie was. I mean, think of how many years they set up that film and how well it all came together I mean that could have been a mess. Yeah, imagine that sucked out of it
Starting point is 00:21:49 Yeah, I mean like think about I mean like that's how many movies came out. I was at what incredible Hulk Captain America For I mean that's five films leading into one the Hawkeye movie Well, you mean Thor Leading into something like that is like that could have come out really, really bad. And I think, I mean, Joss Whedon is amazing that he was able to wrangle all of those egos together and put together something awesome. And the fact that they didn't fuck up the Hulk, I mean, that's an achievement on his own.
Starting point is 00:22:18 He drove the cat. Yeah, I was happy whenever the Hulk was on screen. I just want to watch that guy be the Hulk all the time. Mark Buffalo, who is a bad Hulk? Was it Eric Banna? So the bad one. Edward Norton. Was he the good one of the two?
Starting point is 00:22:31 Eric Banna was in the Angley version. I was the first one with the Hulk dogs. Oh, I'd you. And then Edward Norton was in the second one, the incredible Hulk. All right, that's cool, which also had what's his name, the dude who is Mr. Orange from reservoir dogs that I can't remember his name.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Why don't you look it up on IMDB? Why don't I look it up on IMDB? No, no, it's no need for that. Anyway, but yeah. So anyway, that's what my vote is for the Avengers. An incredible movie that, you know, wrapped up all its killer. So we're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this.
Starting point is 00:23:02 We're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this. We're going to have to settle this. We'll weigh my people. Paper Rock scissors. Really? I'm in. What's to do it? Ray, you got this. Do I? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:12 I'm part of his people, though. Yeah, this feels...You two go. Yeah, you guys. Alright, so it's one, two, three shoot. Ready? Yeah. One, two, three shoot. I think Gavin Williams is in the middle of the wheel here. Alright, well there you go well
Starting point is 00:23:27 Pretty much the only way that I could have been decided would it go B will and that other guy what's his name? Yeah, yeah, also in that is it isn't Amy Rossum. Who's the girl on the movie what movie? Okay, let's do Before we do best game, let's do best downloadable game content. That includes arcade games. Yes, and I'll even tell you the specific ones it includes. Okay, thank you. So we had Halo Force Bartonops, Borderlands 2, Shift Codes, Trials, and that encompassed Trials evolutions.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Evolution as well as the DLC, Origin of Pain. Walking Dead, Minecraft for the 360, Journey and Day Z. Minecraft. Trials Evolution and Origin of Pain. Walking Dead. I'm gonna go with Walking Dead as well. Really?
Starting point is 00:24:19 Yeah. Have you played Walking Dead yet, Gav? No. I had not played it until we dominated it last week and I thought, you know know I need to do my research So I got it on steam and get like all five episodes like 25 bucks. Yeah, and it's really good Like I went in actually honestly really prejudiced against it. Yeah, because it didn't seem like Like a core game game. Yeah, yeah, it's it's really different, but it's did you cry? No, I did not cry
Starting point is 00:24:41 The funny thing is like I really I don't watch Like I've watched the first season of Walking Dead but I never really watched beyond that. But it's still like a really compelling good game on its own. I might play it everyone. You probably like cry. There's iOS version is now right? Yeah, there are. Actually, I think the first episode is free on iOS right now. Yeah, it's complete like the exact same. Yeah, I'm sure it's still my phone because then I yeah, you can do all you're dumping well Yeah, but you had achievements on 360 first so sad you can't miss any of them just finishing it all 500
Starting point is 00:25:09 There's a retail version of a two now. Yeah, I think it's just all the yeah, okay But so it's 200 gamers core piece right so 100 a piece 100 Yeah, you can max out of 500. Oh, that's interesting. I thought I guess because it's downloadable Yeah, so is it is it like a game? Is it walking dead? You launch that, then it has like, that's the one. Yeah, you download the first one.
Starting point is 00:25:28 And it's like the hub. Oh, episode one. And then you just go from there. That's cool. Yeah, it's an interesting idea. So I like it. You probably will cry either. I'm just a huge pussy.
Starting point is 00:25:37 I might cry. I'm a pussy when it comes to that. That's the second game I cried at. Well, it was first. Final Fantasy X. Really? At the end. fantasy 10 yeah when you realize he was a dream or whatever oh my god you are fucking kidding me I'm not kidding I paid
Starting point is 00:25:53 the right that you voted with him guys guys great uh I got I hated that game really yeah it was just the way too long yeah I just never got a lot like the blitzball that's what the story yeah that was I mean I didn't mind that, but yeah, Blitzball. That was the only final fantasy I played the completion. A really? Yeah. I never got a final fantasy, and it's never, yeah, the same deal. I just never got hooked into it.
Starting point is 00:26:12 I played all of them up until 10. 10 was the last one. I played it really good for me. It's all about walking. You were crying for a whole different reason, too. Okay. Shout to Waka. Waka.
Starting point is 00:26:23 Yeah. I guess it would have been Minecraft if Minecraft wasn't already an old game. Yeah. Shout to Waka. Waka, dude. Yeah. Um. I guess it would have been Minecraft, if Minecraft wasn't already an old game. Yeah. I got this in there. You experienced it. It would have been totally great.
Starting point is 00:26:34 They're catching up to the PC version. Yeah, they're moving fast. There's a big patch coming out before Christmas, I think that has the XP bar and brewing and stuff like that. Why would you say that? I like it whenever a new version comes out because it just immediately gives us a new video. It gives us stuff to do.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Yeah. I mean, the creative mode now is like just huge for everything. I really enjoyed our quest for the stronghold when 1.8 came out for it. Oh yeah. That was a lot of fun today. That was a good episode. Me falling through the damn ceiling. You idiot Thomas lost the achievement city today.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Yeah, we did. Jeff is in a phase right now where he keeps breaking memory cards. I don't know what's going on. Like his profile was corrupt on one. So we moved it to another one, which immediately stopped working after today. Jeff will have five or six memory. I think now we're going to have seven copies of a GMC around the office and on different memory cards.
Starting point is 00:27:16 No, there have been a lot of error. But it's important. We need that. I don't know what we, I don't want to build that again. Yeah. Oh, it took so long. I always should like Microsoft release some sort of backup of backup where you could put it into a computer and say, backup my memory stick.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Or even on your Xbox. Yeah, yeah. You need the computer. You can go to the hard drive. But even then, say your Xbox dies and then somehow fucks up your memory card in the process. Then it's like, what? Yeah, be bad.
Starting point is 00:27:40 So I like the idea of something completely unrelated to what you're doing. Yeah, let's never lose achievement city. Yeah, ever. You and it, Berk. You won't lose that house you've got. What the hell is that? That's the Raypad. The Raypad.
Starting point is 00:27:53 The Raypad. I guess I've used the Raypad. It just leave it alone. Oh, I've been... No, we got some good Minecraft stuff. We just recorded, recently, recorded a really good is that is is that coming up this week? Part one part one. Okay, so it's gonna be a two part of really long one. It's it's it's high quality and Yeah, so it's walking deadwood. Yes walking dead
Starting point is 00:28:17 All right, I'm gonna play that damn game. Anyway, all right. Let's do I feel like best game is our like pinnacle Yeah, like I left the like the two most important ones to us for last. Like best game and best internet video. Which one should we do last? I'll say best game last. Yeah, I'll do best. Okay, let's do best internet video. I'll write.
Starting point is 00:28:34 What were the nominees, Gus? Oh, this is the one with a lot of them. Uh, it's Gangnam style. German dude jumps on ice. Still funny. Minash. Uh, Minash. Drunk. Minehosh. Minehosh. Drunk Guy sings Bohemian Rhapsody. The Kate Upton Cat Daddy.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Diablo 3 hardcore mode. The guy loses his character. Trains simulator bitch. What's up there? Brazilian elevator prank. The Chinese Guy stabbing the tire. The Hula hoop video from Burning Man, Life Prood Girls interview Bob Odin Kirk, the heavy metal cat, video game high school,
Starting point is 00:29:11 and Ford onto Don. Wow. Well, I don't know. I might go with the dude jumping on the ice. Wrong. If I mean if you're picking video of the year, the one that's the most significant video of this year, you gotta go with Gangnam Style, unfortunately. Right. Except for the unfortunate. Unfortunately. You gotta go train simulator bit. Absolutely. It's gotta be Gangnam Style. Yeah, no, I don't like it, but I agree with it. Has to do with it. If that was all he did with it, I'd be better with it, but he's done like every possible parody of it. And like he does the YouTube one. Yeah, they did it.
Starting point is 00:29:48 You want to rewind the YouTube style. If I were that guy, I would definitely do that. Absolutely. Why would? Yeah. It's cash all in. Like, what are the odds that he'll have another like brick-a-way hit that like hits it big in the US? Well, he works for us. It doesn't even like 12 albums out or something of something well he's been around for a long time
Starting point is 00:30:06 Well, it's also one of those things like I can see him doing this 20 years from now like a holiday in and premise You know it's like hey guys like we got we got so here it comes out and there's a dance and it's like when We brought MC hammer out. Yeah Like he'll be brought out by the big big thing is it 20 years Oh, yeah, I got them style. Yeah, like remember that. I mean is Rick gasoline It's gonna be 20 years from now. He's like, oh remember that's ironically funny again Rick has he still alive right? Yeah, yes, Rick has a good and ready. No, the gunner style I'm done with the dog. I'm still I respect it. I did a huge video is gonna break a billion views on you
Starting point is 00:30:41 I still watch it every day as it's now won right it did win right yes How many views does you. I still watch it every day. As it's now won, right? It did win, right? How many views does it have? I'm looking it up right now. It now has a change simulator. Second, right? 980 million views. That's it. 980 million, 28,551.
Starting point is 00:30:57 How many do you like that? I'm going to pull it up. So that one video is, if you watched that three times, it is more views. Or if you triple that, it's more views than all of Rooster Teeth's videos combined. So on YouTube got over six million likes now six million three hundred twenty three. How many dislikes does it have? 422,000.
Starting point is 00:31:15 I think it's still less than Rebecca Black Friday. That's still a good that's still a good ratio I would say. Yeah. I think it's deserved it. I just didn't want to vote for it, because I knew it. Yeah. So, the sponsor we had this week was that Battlestar Galactica Blood and Crome series. And I know you guys aren't Battlestar Galactica fans, but, you know, I wish Bernie was here so we could talk about it a little more.
Starting point is 00:31:39 We were really huge Battlestar Galactica fans when it was on the air. Fricia Health was in that, right? Yes. I'm a big fan of her. Absolutely was. She saw her in person. I did choose. At Dragon Con a few years ago. And I was like, I was like, awestruck. I don't know, I couldn't function.
Starting point is 00:31:55 Like I froze up. Like you see, can you like? I was in Australia and I was in the face in the lift. Going down from my floor, which was really high. And she got in as well. And I was just doing that thing where I was trying trying to be cool so we're both going down the other way and I was like leading over like you do that thing where like do you know who you are you know but yeah she's actually really cool and nice and I got a page taken with her as
Starting point is 00:32:16 well. She is not in the web series though. The web series is like a prequel that takes place before the TV show and all the episodes are out already you can watch it all. That's cool. I'm a mission of a prime YouTube channel. So Battlestar, like, they had, they had a really, I mean, there wasn't an older show than they brought back. And then they had prequels to that show, I thought, right?
Starting point is 00:32:37 Well, they had Caprica. Caprica, that's another series, yeah. Okay. But that's the one with James, James that were almost, right? They were James almost. And were James almost. Is in Battlestar Galactic. Okay. But that's the one with James James that were almost right. And were James almost. And were James almost. Is in the battle. Starco. Okay. I've heard it's great. I've heard it's fantastic. It's one of those. It's on Netflix, right? Like I know it's on Hulu. I don't know if it's on Netflix.
Starting point is 00:32:56 All right. That's that's a show that I've been like it's been in my wanting to see. Yeah. You should absolutely watch it. Watch the web series. Watch the TV. I don't know. Watch for both. Okay, yeah, I'll do everything. Actually, right now I'm going through Parks and Rec. I've never watched that show, and now I'm actually going through and watching it all. It has its moment.
Starting point is 00:33:11 It's, there's some funny, funny stuff. But anyway, real fast, about the, one more thing about Blood and Chrome, we're gonna do a community watch event with it on Friday. Oh cool. If so, if anyone's curious and hasn't seen it, we'll have, on our site, we'll do watching it, like one of the chat rooms.
Starting point is 00:33:25 Cool. And we're going to talk about it a little more in depth next podcast. Nice. So watch it. All right. Do it. It's really it's also it's also really high production. All right.
Starting point is 00:33:34 So on the level of like Fort on the dawn outside of Gungam style. What would be your number two on that list? Guys, I think that's that's too big of a list to just ignore everything else. Well, I mean, there are a lot of great things on you. I don't know if I could pick one. Like Ford on the Don was amazing. But again, we're a little biased there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Germandoo jumps on ice. I can watch over and over. You know how it's a leader bitch? You know how on YouTube it is on the back end, you can see when people drop off and when people actually rewind to go. I wonder if the moment he hits the ice is like a peak like this. Because I've been like, you've clicked seconds beforehand. I clicked just before that over and over again. Just want you to go like, wonder if the moment he hits the ice is like a peak like this because I probably do seconds beforehand I click just before
Starting point is 00:34:07 that over and over again just want you to go like could do could do and his head like I want to go back to where he's like I'm gonna win him fish where he's pumping himself up like he's like yeah he's like a bit bad he yeah motherfucker yeah fuck and you record like the destroyer from clerks. My mind asks like a truck. Yeah, I'll be heading to not destroy a berserker. People are saying, uh, uh, Battlestar is on Netflix, so that's okay. Oh, okay. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Thank you. Thank you internet universe. People are mad we didn't put Doctor Who on there, but why? I'm okay with that. I don't want Doctor Who. Is Doctor Who still airing new episodes? Yeah, I actually, I used to watch him when it was David Tennant. He was the 10-11. He was David Tennant. He was the 10 11.
Starting point is 00:34:45 He was one of the, he was one of the doctors, but I liked him because he grew up watching Doctor Who, which was cool to me. But then when it changed to the new guy, like he regenerates every so often. Yeah. And the new guy is some young dude who's never seen Doctor Who in his life. And he openly says this to everyone and that just annoyed me for some reason. I don't want to watch this. How does PR and I get on top of that guy and we like shut the fuck up about that. You know, I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Just doing this and he openly says this to everyone. And that just annoyed me for somebody. I don't want to watch this. How does PR not get on top of that guy?
Starting point is 00:35:06 And we like shut the fuck up about that. Yeah. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, just doing this, I need money. I need to. Yeah, just a job. You see stuff like that. The guy before was like passionately affected.
Starting point is 00:35:14 Doctor who? Yeah, that always blows me away. And people have like these crazy, like they come out and they'll come out and say something. It's like so radically, you know, it's like a real radical statement. And it's like, why the fuck are you going? Why are you saying that?
Starting point is 00:35:24 It's shut up. And it's like, if you, you're going to do saying that shut up and it's like if you know you're gonna all gonna do is alter people's view of you and either they're gonna hate you or they're going to agree with you and it's like you don't need to do that. If you want to watch just one episode of Doctor Who watch the one with the weeping angels or the statues that are like this the first time they do that is like one of it it's really good TV. Not just the best Doctor Who is like really cool episode. All right. So there we talk about Doctor Who. The internet will be happy now. I've never watched an episode of Doctor way. It's like really cool. I'm all right. So there we talk about Dr. Hoover. The internet will be happy now. I've never watched an episode of Dr. Hoover. I mean, it is not like what you're saying in the slightest of me.
Starting point is 00:35:49 All right, so all that we're left with at this point is best game. God, I've been dreading. Yeah, I think I think this will have. This is a lot of fair. I mean, we're, I know I have a pretty solid choice for my number one. Well, let me go over the. Okay, I'm going to use this. We'll figure out what we're doing here.
Starting point is 00:36:11 So we have Mass Effect 3, XCOM, Enemy Unknown, Assessence Creed 3, Halo 4, Color Duty Black Ops 2, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, and new Super Mario Brothers 2. Right off the bat, I'm gonna say we're all supervised and love Halo 4. Clearly. Halo 4 at Goddamn. Like we played it last, yesterday. We played one game where once we finished playing the for a let's play, we keep going. Yeah, once we stopped recording, we just keep playing. Yeah, we filmed yesterday, we filmed some episodes first something coming out soon.
Starting point is 00:36:44 And it was like, well, we're all rendering. You guys just want to keep playing like sure. And we've played for like another 45 minutes. Even though Spartan Austin win best downloadable game content, I think it's a really cool idea to extend like the playability of a retail release game. It's like, yeah, even if you don't campaign, if you're not a multiplayer guy, or you just want to play co-op, you're like, Oh, shit. And you have to come out this week.
Starting point is 00:37:03 Yeah, call my friends, get everyone online. And I love that they've been refining it over the years. It's like they went from firefight until Nally, the Spartan ops, and it's like kind of taking that cooperative thing and kind of taking it to the next level. I honestly thought firefight was better in ODST than it was in reach.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Yeah, I'm more fun in ODST firefight. Well, I think the reason, I would agree with you, but it's because I love that one map in ODST so much. The first one we did. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I know. Like the courtyard in the middle. Yeah, the crash thing on the wall. Yeah, that map is so perfect. You can put that map in there. We actually, we actually did a very early Rusateep Let's Play in that. We played 5-5. We did a podcast. Yeah, it was, yeah, it was part of drum tank, wasn't it? Yeah, I forgot about that video.
Starting point is 00:37:47 It's a lot of you yelling at me. You guys, but you guys did a few videos like that. You did the one that changed, right? Yeah, we did one for Flaw. Flaw. I don't know if we ever released that one. Oh, really? Yeah, and we also did one with Leford Dead.
Starting point is 00:37:58 OK. And when they had their DLC. Yeah. Guides survival. I hope they make a Leford Dead 3. Yeah. Lef 3, Lef 3 Dead. Sure. They could a leopard dead three. Yeah, we left three left three dead We could you are could you be left for dead three or that or that? It'll be and then it's like it turns out a taff life three. Yeah, you play a third three men out of that and also
Starting point is 00:38:13 But it's also portal. Yeah, you have a little gun as well. Yeah, they also team fortress three exactly They'll link together somehow. So they can just bring out a game called three that has a little bit. Have you seen that That thing for Minecraft where you can play Team Fortress 2 inside of Minecraft? No. Someone created a map that allows you to play Team Fortress 2 in Minecraft like the created a system where you can spawn as different classes
Starting point is 00:38:39 and they recreated maps from Team Fortress 2. So wait, is it in the Minecraft engine or Team Fortress engine? It's in the Minecraft engine. Other weapons? Yes? Yes. I love the way to Fort Minecraft. That sounds awesome. Yeah, I'll look up here real fast and see. I don't remember what maps that they had created. All right, so we're all in agreement that Halo 4 is going to take this one. Without doubt. We should create a special category for Halo 4 because we love it so much. That's yeah, so we should have a category for best game that is Halo 4 Yes, and then a category for best game that is not a little more. Okay, so they created a dust bowl You see a little bit here
Starting point is 00:39:19 I will we'll have this in the link dump and oh shit. We'll we'll talk about it You guys you guys should do something for obviously is the PC for the month. Yeah, of course I don't see how to do eight classes and it's crazy. That sounds awesome So yeah Seth bling is what you did that shot the set bling Well, okay, so should we talk about the games that aren't Halo 4 that are on that list? Yes, we should absolutely pick He just can you put a big like scribble through assessment screen 3 It's not screen 3 was good. It definitely ended much better than it started. Oh, I did yeah, yeah Yeah, but here's what we got we have to endure the mass effect 3 okay Xcom Assassin's Creed 3
Starting point is 00:39:54 Black ops 2 borderlands 2 far cry 3 and New Super Mario Bros on the Wii Wii U Wii U Out of that list, I would probably take borderlands 2 Like I didn't play borderlands 1 We, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, It's just my favorite. I shut up asshole. It's yours. I refuse to vote for anything else. Really? Yeah. Okay. I'm, it's, hey, look for. Fort Linced, too. Um, God, like this was so good. It's so good. And also, like, I mean, even like we talked about like with the keys and stuff like that. And, you know, they've been pretty good about DLC for the game.
Starting point is 00:40:38 And, um, I like the community support. And it's a good game. It's a good game. It's pretty good. Pretty pictures. Nice guy. What's that? I don't know if I can, I don and it's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game.
Starting point is 00:40:50 It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game.
Starting point is 00:40:58 It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. It's a good game. for me. Even Far Cry 3 that just came out. Yeah, you know, I was just amazing. Far Cry 3 I dream about. Yeah, there's some good game. That game is so good. You know, actually, I
Starting point is 00:41:09 just took I've been playing Xcom again. I picked it up after not playing it for a while. And I hit the point where you have to build like the psionic room or whatever. And I don't know how to activate it. Like you have to have to have to have somebody to activate it and is like, Oh, no, your soldiers can do it. I'm like, you have to analyze your soul, you have to build a soldier up with enough will Enough will yeah, okay, and I really have to do this if you have a soldier with a lot of will they can
Starting point is 00:41:33 Go to the room to see if they can activate it, but they don't always work Well, I've gone through almost all of my soldiers and like I tested all of them. We better start with a new recruit So you got to build them all the way up to the, oh my gosh. Just named your guy Will, problem solved. Will, Billy, get in there. You're looking at one character who had had for a long time with my badass sniper. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:54 And she was the only one I ever sent in. Oh yeah. And she activated. Yeah, I've got like, I think I've got two sionic guys that are like top level. And then I would have bunch of just, you know, squaddies that haven't done anything. So I'm gonna start raising those guys up. Do you think you have a lot of will?
Starting point is 00:42:07 I think so. I think I have enough will to push a button Activate the things probably push a button. Oh clearly But anyway, I mean, I will say like that's one of the few games I've taken home from work and continue to play So it is a lot of fun. I like it a lot So far far far through the other. I like it a lot. So far, Karthus, through the other day, I had to do that mission where I had to kill the man either shark with a fucking bow and arrow.
Starting point is 00:42:29 That's fun. No, it was not that. That was a pain in the ass. If you can't shoot in the water, obviously. So you have to find like a rock and then hope the shark gets close enough. And if you miss, it's like, well, I got to go in the water and find my arrow.
Starting point is 00:42:41 Yeah. You got to wait for the shark, got a yellow and soul set at CV comes back around. Well, you only have one arrow. No, you got to wait for the strike. Got a yell in sunset. It's he comes back around. Well, you only have one arrow. No, multiple, but you just you tried shooting a shark with a bow. You've been in the weekends. Yeah, okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:53 Yeah, like at the time I could hold 20. Yeah, I think it was like it was barely enough. Jesus. That sounds fun. I've heard nothing but good about that. I mean, this year's been so incredible. I mean, if I had to pick one, I would probably, I mean, God, it's gonna be either,
Starting point is 00:43:08 like four of them, Mass Effect 3, XCOM, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3. I can't pick. Bates, because those four of my favorite, I'll go with Borderlands 2. That's right, Gearbox, Texan developers. Yay. Do you remember the original look for Borderlands. Yeah, there's almost like Elder Scrolls
Starting point is 00:43:27 I'm like Libyan. It wasn't cel shaded. Mm-hmm. You can find you might screenshots online. Yeah, they were just even the first E3 They went to they had a trailer that was the old look. Yeah, I remember seeing the old look in game informer and then seeing it now I'm like I'm glad they went so it's amazing that the stuff that can change after trailer like an announcement trailer How different a game can actually become after that point is kind of Kind of crazy. I wonder how that happens like they just get enough times like yeah, we're gonna change this I think what I read like I've read some interviews about it like where they talk about the development process for that game And they say that they were concerned at the time that they would be viewed as a poor man's rage Since it was working on rage at the time
Starting point is 00:44:04 So they needed to do something to distinguish the look of their game. Speaking of rage, that game came out last year in October and today they're released new DLC. Really? Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Do you find if something you see in a trailer is something you want to experience? Like if you watch a movie trailer, you want to see that moment in the movie. And if you see something in a game, you want to play that part of the game. Do you find that? Yeah, of course. Do you remember the Halo 2? Yeah, because Halo 2 did that where they just had like a whole level that just wasn't
Starting point is 00:44:30 in the game at all. They did? Yeah, yeah, I was waiting for that level. The announcement, there's something that's like a big giant gun that's shooting loose stuff and then there's an air strike on that and then also you have like, it was the one, there was like the shaky camera where everyone's like screaming at every, every new thing, like, he'd your wheels for the first time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:48 People like, wow! I love those videos. I love people's reactions at the time, to that kind of thing, but I love it wasn't even in the game. Yeah. When we were filming the gauntlet, you know, there was one episode where we had to play Halo 1. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:02 And it was, it had been a long time, so I picked it up and actually played it. Like, we'd go back and do a machine in my renown, but to pick it up and try to play was 1. Yeah. And it was, it had been a long time. So I picked it up and actually played it. Like we'd go back and do a machine in my renown, but to pick it up and try to play was really different. It feels like you're playing in slow motion. It feels like everything is like we're so fast-paced. Yeah, it's like everything's a twitchy now. Halo 1 was like, you would jump off something high
Starting point is 00:45:17 and be like, you're that. Ugh. It's like everything's really heavy. I'll say we forgot things like, you could, the flag carrier could get in a Wardhog even if his teammate wasn't driving. Huh, really? Yeah, so like a red team person could be driving. No, I didn't do that now.
Starting point is 00:45:33 The blue team with the flag could get in as well. Oh no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, that's wrong. What I meant was they could get in at all. Like they wouldn't drop the flag. So they could get in. If their teammate was driving, you get in the Wardhog and take the flag like that. Because I remember in Halo 1, you couldn't even, only your team could get in that car with you.
Starting point is 00:45:48 Right. That's why you had in RVB, you had to do the split screen where two different characters. Spoiler. Right. Peel back the curtain on that one. Halo 1 is still really fun to play. It is a fun, fun, fun to do.
Starting point is 00:46:01 It's fun to do just a three hour long game of CTF on Blood Goach. Or Sidewinder also. Sidewinder too. Yeah. It was a fun fun to do just a like a three hour long game of CTF on blood Goach or Sidewinder also sidewinder too. Yeah, I feel like Halo one did Particles really well like you remember like sliding a war hog across the ice And Sidewinder the wheels would dig up the ice in a really cool way I have not really seen as good as that in games. I think the the reason you think that is because back then Like the the bits of particles were so big. Yeah, like the polygons were so like, not refined that it was like big chunks you could see and now everything is like dust and a lot more like refined.
Starting point is 00:46:35 Yeah, I just remember just looking so good. Like if you ever look to the sun in Halo one and then went behind a tree, the light would kind of like peel around the leaves. But if he didn't hail a two, it would just be like kind of it would fade at the sun. I mean, I got the scopa halo. So amazing. I mean, even today I'm working right now on a let's play with six of us playing Halo. And we're doing like big team battle stuff. And it's the sea like, okay, hey, look, I'm in a band. She gavins in a ghost. And we got Michael and Jeff and award hog and then no raise running out with an incinerator cannon. You know, Ryan's got rockets. It's like, like, there's so much, you know, if you can play that game in so many different ways and to literally see six different people doing different things, all this is. Right, you refuse to get in vehicles, don't you?
Starting point is 00:47:12 I'm not a vehicle guy. I just don't like vehicles in any game ever. So what do you do, you snipe mainly? Yeah, like are the precision weapons like battle rifle or? You're a bloody bitch for that DM on battle rifle. You know, just, you just know. Like, I would run pet or I would hijackack somebody like in the Let's Play we did.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Like I jacked somebody's banshee and I just got on like banshee. I just want to kill. Maybe I don't scrap it. But I mean the game is so much fun and it's just like I mean me like I'm not good at I'm not good at like shooting or sniping like Ray is but like when it comes to driving vehicles like I can do that all day. And so it's like I like Hayley but I'm not going to shoot it. Yeah pretty much.
Starting point is 00:47:44 Oh I mean but no that works out. Yeah yeah I'm not going can do that all day. And so I was like, I like Hayley, but I'm not gonna shoot it. Yeah, pretty much. Oh, I mean, but no, that works out nice. Yeah, yeah, I'm not gonna shoot. That's something for everyone. I still feel like I can contribute. I mean, like in bad company too, like I feel like I'm bad at shooting, but I can heal people.
Starting point is 00:47:54 I can keep people alive. And I love that now there's like ways you can do that. And a lot of games are supporting that. Where it's like, you know, if you're not good at one thing, maybe you can try this. And you know, with the classes and like, you know, all the different specializations you can do in Halo 4 now, it's like they're really kind if you're not good at one thing, maybe you can try this. And you know, with the classes and like, you know, all the different specializations you can do in Halo 4 now, it's like,
Starting point is 00:48:07 they're really kind of focusing on that kind of stuff. And I love that. I love that we're getting into more of like, are you working on a specialization yet? Have you got 50? I haven't hit 50. I think I just hit 39. I think I'm 45.
Starting point is 00:48:18 I'm gonna do engineer first, I think. I think operators, the vehicle one. So that's what I'm talking about. I'm not like 47, I don't know what options come up. Yeah. Wet work is like the vehicle one so that's that's what I'm talking about. Yeah, I'm like 47. I don't know what options come up Yeah, it's wet work. It's like the stealth one. I probably think that one Some of itch But apparently like so for the the specializations you have to hit level 59 or 60 in order to get the Benefit yeah, the special thing. Yeah, you get when you get to 50 you pick one you get like you look different
Starting point is 00:48:41 Yeah, and then 60 it's like okay I'm really at 50 you you pick it and then immediately jump to 51 like you look different yeah, and then 60 it's like okay. I really asked if you you pick it And then immediately jumped at 51 like you won't see anyone at level 50 or any that's definitely like a yeah It's like a prestige and cool level you guys best of it. I think around 30 I don't remember off the top my step it up guys. I need to I'm gonna play too much far cry three Have you put the cop yet? I'm far right now. So good. It's fun Have you pulled the cop yet? Far Cry now. So good.
Starting point is 00:49:04 It's fun. I really need to. Dude, the second episode. That moment when you get run over twice is, I was making quick bits. It's really, really fun. Yeah, we released the last play, Far Cry 3, part 2 last week. And yeah, last week.
Starting point is 00:49:17 And it was like the last five to ten minutes of that episode. I was crying. I was laughing so hard. Because at one point, I get, I get, like, I got, I was looking at a sniper up in a tree. And I got run over while I was looking. I was laughing so hard. Because at one point I was looking at a sniper up in a tree and I got run over while I was looking at him. And then Michael, or no, someone could ran over. It was a U.R. I wasn't even playing.
Starting point is 00:49:32 Oh, yeah, sorry. So let's see the Michael. I think it was Michael ran over and tried to revive me. Yeah, I was there. Yeah. And so, like, we'll know because we had the British character. I thought it was. I played as Gavin.
Starting point is 00:49:41 Michael revives me. As soon as I stand up, I meet like that truck that had run had run me over stop and then started backing up and then backed over me nice It's all immediately down again And so I got hit by that same car twice and then get up and then reg is eaten by dogs You fuck dogs in our game like for some reason dogs love Ray. There is a the first dog that attacked me in that whole scuffle and like Jeff is here, it goes like this right, and it gets me, I'm like, no, even like this one racial thing.
Starting point is 00:50:10 So I was still laughing from getting run over, and then Ray gets down by a dog. This dog's eating Ray's face, and I'm just watching him laughing because it was like, I still crying laughing. Dog got too many bucks on it. Another dog, another dog runs up. Doesn't even look at me, it looks at Ray,
Starting point is 00:50:22 it's like standing next to Ray, watching the other dog eat him. I don't know. And I was like, I don doesn't even look at me, this looks at Ray, it's like standing next to Ray, watching the other dog. I don't know. And I was like, I don't know why dogs love Ray, but it was pretty incredible. And yeah, anyway. Which is man. So you should watch that, let's play.
Starting point is 00:50:34 It's super super cool. Yeah, it's good. So anyway, or you should watch all of our last plays. Yes, absolutely. Thank you guys. I don't know, what do you want me to say? Yeah, watch them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:44 My favorite thing in the world in that game, or my favorite thing right now in that game, is trying to take an enemy camp without being noticed. All the strongholds. Yeah, but then trying to unleash the wild animals that are there to attack and be your buddy. I like to do that. One time, I did it, it was like a leopard who comes out. He killed every single person except for one guy. Then he started running away from the stronghold ran right to where I was hiding like looked at me
Starting point is 00:51:08 We had like a moment and like he didn't attack me. We like looked at each other and he was all bloody and fucked up Yeah, he just took off running into the jungle I was like where'd it go leopard dude on more than one occasion that game One time was a bear and the old was the birth thing. What is it called? You remember what's called the Cassowary? Yeah,. Yeah. I would be like in the base behind a building. I'd shoot it and it would just run away. Like not do anything. Or just escape.
Starting point is 00:51:31 I'm like, well, fuck. Yeah, one time I did that with a, I might have been like a different leopard. Yeah. Oh, no, it was dogs. OK. We have, so I did that with dogs. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:41 I shot the cage open. There were two dogs in the cage. They run around in the camp. Then they don't attack anybody. Then they run straight to me where I'm hiding. You start attacking me. So then that alerts everybody in the camp. And I'm like, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:51:54 At least that kind of makes sense. I mean, it's a bear. The bear's like, all right, but I was gone. It's like, they've brought me captive. He's out. The worst was, after the dog come at me, and everyone gets alerted, they were bunch of those guys who throw like the maltoms. Yeah, it was good. So like everything catches
Starting point is 00:52:08 on fire like the whole jungle's burning down like I'll just come back later. Fire in the game. You get spread. Well, this is going to be countered it. Like they're standing there exactly where I was and they're throwing maltoms and I'm like, let's idiot, I'm not even over there. And then like you're like, oh wait, everything's going to catch fire. fire and wraps around and gets you. That's pretty cool. It's so good. It's like Gavin and our library in Minecraft. Yeah. You do, leave me around wood for long enough.
Starting point is 00:52:32 If nothing's happening, I'm gonna put Laura on it. I have a question for you, right? Hey, I'm right. You're like, you get to work like nine every day. Like you're always on time. Punctual guy. I try. But well on the street is at the weekends you wake up at like four.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Yeah, why not? I don't know how you can have such a difference between that. I was unemployed for a year and a half. I could wake up whenever I want. Before is almost the opposite of nine. Well no, nine p.m. is the opposite of nine. Almost, right? Okay. But that's almost that was excellent point. That's like an entire day more that you slept. So do you go to bed later at the weekend or what? I would hope he's not sleeping for like fucking 16 hours. I don't know You don't know it's Friday night. I usually go I stay up till like two or three every night like Monday through for whatever I just you have to wake up right now. I'm standing can wake up a full one day and then wake up a nine a.m
Starting point is 00:53:15 I catch up on the sleep. I missed crazy No, that's that's I dude. There's nothing better than on Saturday going to bed and not setting alarm Yeah, like just be like I'm just gonna sleep until I decide to wake up It's great when my mom wants to FaceTime me. I'm like, shut up. I call her back there. Oh, she's got some cheap FaceTime with me. I love you.
Starting point is 00:53:31 I love you. Hi, mom. Is she all right? Yeah, you didn't see. Oh, I guess you weren't in the States yet, which came to mind. No, I made sure they weren't there with my visit. Did.
Starting point is 00:53:41 What's she like? Me. What's she like? This is without the beard. Yeah. Yeah. Can we just go what she looks like? Can we have a link though? Is she cool to miss his Navajas Junior? No. So we find out your mom is hot. Well, I didn't know that. I just made her go sprouted up.
Starting point is 00:53:58 I don't remember who brought it up to me. Some brought it up to me instead of made you really uncomfortable. Nice. It's alright, yeah. She looks so good. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young.
Starting point is 00:54:10 She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young.
Starting point is 00:54:18 She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks young. She looks. She looks young. who told me that I had a really drunk weekend and Barbara's pointing at herself saying it was her. Alright, thank you Barbara. What? Barbara, do you want to
Starting point is 00:54:29 step into the into the the screen and how do you know she looks like your love of Gavin's mom? Jeff to all right or not. That's cool too. Whatever. She doesn't want to go. Okay. Sorry. So we have we have this set up here for people to come to defend themselves on camera. Whatever Because we're not talking shit about them. No, I'm just gonna say we've got like 20 lights on this one microphone I mean see there's more lights pointed at nothing than I know the reason is Jack. Why is that low ISO? Hi, sure, right? Am I right? Right? Ladies know what I mean. Yeah, you got it You got a lighter for the green screen. Anyway, anyway, this is funny.
Starting point is 00:55:05 There's like, no, the I don't know whatever he said makes more sense. Um, well, so what are you saying that we should start talking shit about people who haven't come out? Sure. Why not? Let's do it. We're just Chris and Carrie. They can talk about more to work. Oh, they're not here. They're asleep. They're sleeping.
Starting point is 00:55:18 Yeah, their, their schedules are all fucked up because they're like, they've been working on. I think episode three just came out of it. Yeah, it came out today, right? Is that the one with the, yeah,, don't don't watch while you're eating Yeah, I didn't eat lunch. It didn't bother me. But I'm like, well, it's gonna be disgusting for people Yeah, I mean my jersey Mike. I was a good a tuna melt. That's a gift. I'll be going Someone just asked what's wrong with my hair. Is it fucked up your hair looks fine? Yeah, let's go to Gus
Starting point is 00:55:38 Gus, okay, oh who asked what's wrong? Someone your your ass. Someone on Twitter. Someone on Twitter asked what's wrong Well, let's not cut to Gus. That's a little bit lighter. Hey, that's fine. It's looking good. It's looking fresh. Thanks, you to Dorian, Verhagen, for making me free. There we go. What's wrong with Gus and Sarah?
Starting point is 00:55:56 Shout out. All right. Great people are tweeting to me. Right, your pitch for that. You want the Borderlands to go around the game with you. Hey, congratulations, Randy Pitchford. I see you see a member on our site and have sponsorship. We're going to build an account real quick.
Starting point is 00:56:08 How old was your mother when she had you? 19. 19. That was to be weird. She got young, then. So was she just let your buddy? Not really. It's still a big age difference.
Starting point is 00:56:22 But what's your teenager? I remember when my parents turned 30 Wow, and I remember being like wow my parents are old now. Whoa. That's funny. That is weird Yeah, my mom had me when she was 30 Is you have the bed I did came out came out with beer first. Yeah, so much as nice and padded like I think about it It's like like if I were she's growing people carrying an unrestable right. Oh wait Jack's being a myth. There's a chin Jack what is your mental image right now? Huh? What? Exactly, yeah, exactly
Starting point is 00:56:59 I don't know so when you're gonna tell that that beef you know I was like I might be streaming up pretty soon for like Christmas and stuff because I'm gonna see family And I just you're just giving up for the good of everyone who has to look at you. No, no like for quanza If you did it for Christmas diet white and then chop it off after Oh my god white satna Why No, I'm like it's funny like I you know I've grown it out now. It's like I don't know where to stop I don't know how to end it, but uh it's easy just fucking cut it No, but it's it's funny. I've grown it out now. I don't know where to stop. I don't know how to end it.
Starting point is 00:57:25 It's easy. Just fucking cut it. No, but it's so easy. Don't worry to start from the bottom and just keep going. I'm sure of my face on it. I can't trim it off. Yes, you can. I'm going to keep it long. I saw a video of you without that video. I guess you had a go-to at a time. You look half the man that you are now. So you convinced me not to shave it off. Why? I'll have the man. You'll take your home and like twice the size. Oh, okay. It also hides a layer of fat under my chin,
Starting point is 00:57:54 which is good. So that's very convenient. It's nice. So I don't know. Like I have been thinking about trimming it down quite a bit and we'll see. I mean, it doesn't take like, I mean, I figure I should grow it out for packs and RTX. So if I cut it now, I can let it grow. I mean, it doesn't take like, I mean, I figure I should grow it out for packs and RTX. So if I cut it now, I can let it grow. Hi. So people want to see. No, nobody can see that. How many people have come up and asked to like,
Starting point is 00:58:12 like, take photos of my figure? Yeah, but that's gross. No one's done that. People want to touch these baby. People want to. They do. Yes. And you were all about.
Starting point is 00:58:19 They're plenty of photos online. Every time someone touches my beard, I say, well, you're going to die in seven days now. That's gross. They got like, weird, sweaty hands, sweaty hand gummy. No, I wash it. I clean it. I shatter. I shampoo it. I condition it. Yes Get one better. It's hair. Of course. I should of course I shampoo it. Get some head shoulders here All right, I'm not saying you should totally go barefaced, but no, I mean without any facial I look weird as hell I have been growing my beard back out. Yeah this morning I was so sleep in the shower, I shaved it and I was like,
Starting point is 00:58:46 what the fuck am I doing? I was like, I'm gonna start it and I was like, what am I gonna do? Just shave half your beard and just leave it. Honestly, it's pretty nice to get out of, you know, get out of the shower before I take showers, like, oh yeah, I'm to shave.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Cool. Because shaving takes up extra time. Yeah, well, I don't, I mean, just shave every day. Then you get the weird sort of look like that. That's fine. That's what that's.
Starting point is 00:59:08 That's what I bet. His is better than yours. Mine's significant. I just have significance to it. There is significant. Exactly. Good Lord. Dude, it is, it is getting pretty long, though.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Like every now and then, I can pull out a hair down here. It's like a good four or five inches long. Yeah, it's like holy crap. Get it off. All right. Maybe I'll trim it up I don't know but if I'm gonna shave it like very neatly so we can reconstruct it onto my face Like she's I'll wear it for a week. I don't know like like random There's there's a place on South Amara that they actually do like like beard trims and I actually will get like the special The barbershop No, there actually is a place that they like specialize in beards. I forget what is called but all right
Starting point is 00:59:48 Can you go to like supercube? Yeah, can you trim this? No, that's what happened. I usually go to like sport clips in my haircut in the last I'm gonna beard out this long The girls like give me a drum it up for you like yeah, you can trim it up just a little bit But like I'm kind of known for it. So go crazy. She was okay. No problem Shave the whole thing off and I was like well She was okay to a problem. And she shaved the whole thing off. And I was like, well, she ended up
Starting point is 01:00:05 in the finishing of a hero. Thank you. It was just a little bit longer than Gavin's beard as it was right now. I was like, wow, okay. And she started literally like from like my Adam Dappell and just went up to my chin. And like there's like right in the middle.
Starting point is 01:00:17 Good as a worse getting on down. Right? What? I'm getting tweets about my eyelashes. You should see Ray's eyelashes. No, my eyelashes are long. You got some raised eyelashes. No people think my lashes are long You got some long ones right? Apparently. Yeah, I lie to you. It's our people We got long islands very similar eyebrows. How much
Starting point is 01:00:32 How much again? How much you got less going on there? How much for me to shave what off? Directly aligned on here, but clean shaving for how long a week? How much do you have? a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of
Starting point is 01:00:51 money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:00:59 I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money. I'm not going to be a lot of money, so I'm going to bring it up right now while I remember it. Has nothing to do with your disgusting beard? Thank you.
Starting point is 01:01:09 So, this year, I guess next week, Christmas falls on a Tuesday and Rochite says closed on that day for some reason. So we are going to pre-record the podcast and we will broadcast it on tape delay next Tuesday at normal time. So it will be broadcasting live or is it it be recorded? No, it will be recorded. It will be recorded ahead of time and it will broadcast it at the same time Tuesday evening on the 25th. They won't do the same thing on New Year's Day again.
Starting point is 01:01:36 Okay. So we still will have videos for you guys to watch, but it will be on tape delay. So you won't even notice it except we we're not gonna talk to you on Twitter. Can we get into something like, like, like, almost start a fight and then, like, have a hard cut to all of us sitting back down again? What happened? Well, we're just in, like, car,
Starting point is 01:01:53 like, black-eyed, brooze, like, it's not being on action. Thanks for watching, podcast. On Christmas Day, that'll be. Yeah, that one'll come out Christmas Day and then one'll come out on a New Year's Day as well. I'm gonna be here on the couch, but also in England with my family.
Starting point is 01:02:06 It's the entire mental. People can't get their heads around that. And then of course the audio podcast will come out on Wednesday, just like normal. So there will be no, no, no. Okay. What do you guys call the 26th of December? December 26th.
Starting point is 01:02:19 Day after Christmas. There's no name for it. No. Okay. Is that Boxing Day? Boxing Day. Yeah. I don't know if you put boxy gloves on. No, it's in the box. It's like kangaroo. Let you box stuff up or something. Yeah, I thought Boxing Day was like the day before Christmas,
Starting point is 01:02:33 because you box up the presents. Don't they have Boxing Day in Canada? That's like, right? Yeah, Canada has a Boxing Day. I thought that was like Friday. Yeah, I thought that was well, I thought that was like they're like their Christmas Eve or whatever. That was like Friday. Yeah, I thought that was watch out those like they're like they're Christmas Eve or whatever If only we had a Canadian here is boxing day the day after Christmas. Yeah, I know it's not Christmas We wanted to make sure the Canadian one was the same thing But you know I So I'm flying back to England for pretty much just a day. What? I'm gonna go for Christmas Day and then...
Starting point is 01:03:08 So how did you get the form here? And then come back. So you're paying for a flight all the way to England back and only staying for one day? I'm gonna stay for a couple of days but I'm gonna be like jet lag the... Wow, Syringe Jesus! I think there might be a fire somewhere in your flight. I didn't do it. Yeah, it's basically gonna be a Christmas that cost me $2,000 basically as a man with a beard fetish don't shave it
Starting point is 01:03:30 There you go Jack. That's a Tweet that just came in. Thank you man No, there's plenty of ladies out there that enjoyed the beard. There are zero ladies There's a dude with a beard fetish and we found you all right. All right. I think we'll worry speak up God ray is fucking sexy. That's from a guy named Ben. There you go I think much tips doc Wow, it's sounding escalated very quickly. Absolutely. I think you just don't want to get rid of your thing You like to have a thing. No, I would I mean I would keep the beer. This is the length of it right now
Starting point is 01:04:03 So this isn't this doesn't it it takes a while to get out this long Why don't you bring it all see you know what you know I will be honest my my nephew my little one-year-old nephew. He loves my beard and I just have nothing he No, there's nothing it's a one what doesn't he love no like it's nothing cuter like you like a weed sitting on my lap And I like grab it my my beard and pull on it's nothing cuter. It's really really People don't care about people don't give I care about kids You can't not kid because you know it exactly yeah, you can't say no one cares about I care about him I see a baby in a pram and it's just like a little
Starting point is 01:04:34 Pram what's he collect a thingy stroller? Yeah, stroller Graham the fuck is a pram you You'll lady nice to throw out. Look there we go, Jack's beard is sexy and I'm a lady. Thank you. That's a lotster. Yeah, Twitter, I love the internet. No, yeah, I think people always overestimate how much other people care about their beard. Oh, no kid, I've never met. It's just a tiny little human.
Starting point is 01:05:03 It could be anyone. I will agree, I was never a huge fan of children, like babies and stuff. Even when my cousins had kids, they'd be like, oh, you want to hold her? And I'd be like, that's cool. But then when my sister got pregnant, it was something completely different. When she called me, she's like, I'm pregnant.
Starting point is 01:05:16 I was super excited. I was actually caught myself with Garden when she had her kid. I'm like, I love that kid now, man. It's like, it's something about having that contact with the family. It's completely different. Guys, you're not gonna have a kid, right? No.
Starting point is 01:05:28 Is it because you just don't like kids? I don't want to deal with it. Yeah. Like, what if someone would deal with it? A name. And you could just say, like, all right, and it would just be basically you passing your genes down. And you could just walk and be like,
Starting point is 01:05:39 oh, I knew I should walk off again. That would be you parenting that kid. Maybe. I could, I could could I might go come around And you would would you call it Gus? Keep the name again. Yeah, I get gust of fourth. So you're the third Gus. Yeah, no she's that true. Yeah, I know it. So you're dad your GS3. So my Gus, Jr. Yes, so you're Gus three and my grandfather was original My and my grandfather working out though my grandfather
Starting point is 01:06:01 You know died before I was born and I've been to his grave in Mexico And so it's weird to see like a gravestone with like your full name on it's a wish. Oh, that's O.G. Gustavo Soror. O.G. O.G. original Gus. Yeah, original Gus. And original. GS 3. Are any of you juniors or anything? Yeah, I'm junior. My middle name. My middle name is Shannon, which is a family name. Your middle name is Shannon? How have I never known about you?
Starting point is 01:06:27 I don't know that. And it's a family name. So it's my grandfather had it. My dad has it. I've got multiple cousins named Shannon, like female cousins named Shannon. What's your middle name, Ray? I don't have one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:38 You don't have a middle name? No. That's really weird. Is it? Especially for, uh, is that really bizarre? Or one for Hispanics. Two especially for Puerto Ricans. Because like when I lived in Puerto Rico. Every time I tell that to somebody they like really?
Starting point is 01:06:49 I'm like yeah, I don't have. Because when I lived in Puerto Rico, like they do the thing down there where they use multiple last name. Yeah. Where so when I introduce myself to people I tell them my name and they're like, no, what's your full name? Yeah. Then you have to go with your, you have to explain your other last name and go through that whole process. What is your full name?
Starting point is 01:07:09 My full name is Gustavo Raul Sorola. But in Puerto Rico, you then, if people ask for your full name, you have to put your mother's maiden name before your real last name. Wow. So then it would be like Gustavo Raul Medina Sorola. That's cool.
Starting point is 01:07:24 I'm just a Ray Narvaz Jr. There you go. Live it up. RJ2. You were spending any time in Puerto Rico? I went once and I was like three. I don't remember it really. I don't want to go back, but I can't speak Spanish. That's used to be Spanish, right? Yeah. I think I heard you speak Spanish somewhere. We're in San Diego one time or something like that and you like it slipped out and I was like, whoa, what the hell? I forget you were talking. It's so rare that I ever have to use it nowadays Like anytime I have to use it. I've like I like I scared myself. Are you still fluent in it? I mean like do you can you pick it up easily? Yeah, I can understand can you watch like a Guillermo little Torah movie and be fine with
Starting point is 01:07:56 People are talking I can understand no problem really but then if I have to say something then it's like oh shit This thing I don't understand about human brains and the that stuff is that I did five years of German. I should know how to speak German. I don't. I could barely say a sentence. But all that information, it's not like in computer with a hard drive. If it's on a hard drive, you just search in.
Starting point is 01:08:18 You're right, a brain is not like a computer's hard drive. Thank you, Gavin. But where is the information? Like, what is the information stored as? What what is a memory though like how do I get it? No, I can see what he's saying. It's a Like there's nothing physical I know that it went into collection of cells. Yeah, and your shit is in there is the plot of the matrix Sometimes I'll get like a weird bump that will remind me of something I haven't thought of in like 15 years
Starting point is 01:08:41 I'm like, where was that sitting in there? Or like, have you ever had to think where you smell something in your neck? Yeah, it's like, it's like, it's a memory. It's cool again. Yeah. But I never haven't had anything useful. It's like, I just smelled this once when I was,
Starting point is 01:08:53 oh, I'm sad and a puddle or something. Sad and a puddle or sad and a puddle. Sad. Okay, what's your middle name? It's David. Oh, I knew that. Gavin David. Judip.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Thanks. Judip. Is that anything in particular? Is that it? It's my dad's name. Oh, I knew that Gavin David. JDR. Thanks. JDR. Is that anything in particular? Is that it? It's my dad's name. Oh, there you go. So is Raoul anything in particular? So he bangs your hot mom? Your dad? No. No. My grandfather's middle name.
Starting point is 01:09:15 I don't know how he got it. Okay. And so you're never having kids, right, Gus? No. We're good to have this conversation again. Yeah, let's do it. Let's talk about it again. What if someone would take care of the kid? Yeah. I'm really tempted to just throw the slap-band on your arm. Can you make it that far?
Starting point is 01:09:28 Let's go to the side. You're gonna throw a flat. Oh, you got that hurt. That's almost got it. That was the achievement hunter slap-band. You can buy the Ruchite's store. I got the bottle opener. You got me one.
Starting point is 01:09:44 Yeah. I got every one of the achievement hunter slap and you can buy the Roots cheats stories. You got the ball. I got the ball. You got me one. Yeah. I got everyone in the achievement hunter office, the beanies and the bottle openers. So I realized none of us had any show kind of you got them for everyone. Well, I ordered them. No one else was going to do it. I love to be the one who without spending any money or putting in the effort, get something to you.
Starting point is 01:10:00 I thought you this. It didn't. I didn't do anything to it. I'm not. I'm saying you could have gotten it for everybody if you wanted to Did you wouldn't be me? Maybe right well. Yeah, silly Gavin silly. I'm not trying to say I made it or anything like that as I I
Starting point is 01:10:12 I brought it to you like here you go But anything you see Ashley did it Ashley took care of it for you. Oh, yeah. Yeah, shout. There you go Shout out to Ashley. It's got given shout out so we're here But that out to do right you know when you're playing yes I know what I'm gonna play and they do the demonstration of the mask coming down and now I just want to never use to say this but now they always say the bag doesn't inflate the bag won't inflate if you breathe through it it doesn't yeah depending on the pressure what's the bag for well there is
Starting point is 01:10:41 oxygen it's if there's low pressure or a total loss of cabin pressure, then the bag inflates. But if there's pressure, it keeps the bag compressed. So I imagine that they've only started saying this because at some point a plane less pressure died down and everyone was panicking that their bag wasn't inflating. So what would it? Can you imagine that flight? Like everyone's expecting the bag to go. So everyone's wearing a mask, but they don't think it's working. That's funny to me. Well isn't it like in Fight Club that it's you know you're inhaling pure oxygen which gets you high and that's like also helps out with your calming down because you're in a
Starting point is 01:11:13 plane crash. It's your pantsing you're gonna be taking huge breaths of air you know you're freaking the fuck out and so it's like oh I was wondering if that's true or not. Yeah I've now I would never want to get into a plane craft being like unlike being I would love to be in an earthquake but I would never want to be in a plane craft being unlike being I would love to be in an earthquake But I would never want to be a plane crash So the other day Someone was talking about a plane crash or something and I went back to air disaster.com Oh, yeah frequently new and I realized that they haven't updated that site like in two years now really yeah
Starting point is 01:11:37 like since the end of 2010 and But like when I went there I saw a a crash I'd never heard of before. And it freaked me. Like it actually genuinely freaked me out. It was like such a bad crash. It happened in 77, but there were pictures. Like there was a plane that was on a frozen San Diego. And there's like from 1977 there's pictures of this plane like upside down and sideways and the wings on fire.
Starting point is 01:12:00 And it's like getting ready to hit the ground. Oh my gosh. It was like classic what movie playing the movie. Yeah, I was like, oh, you only see that in the movie, like, oh, this fake. It was like, holy shit. Because you can imagine it in that situation. In that situation, when a plane is crashing,
Starting point is 01:12:12 a pilot is going to keep calm and be like, oh, we've got this. We've got this. But if it's on fire and upside down, even the pilot must be like, well, what's that then? And the transcript of the cockpit voice recorder was also posted there and I read it. Oh God. Yeah, that's yourself. It was brutal.
Starting point is 01:12:30 Was it just pilots going like right now? It was a Hail Mary full of grace. Oh, no. It's like, you know, loud crash, loud banging noise. Pilot, what was that? Did we hit it? Err, err, err, it's like grunting noises, like grunting, yeah. Wait, what? Whoa! Err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, err, er know, passenger plane landing on water. Like whenever I picture, Yeah, it was in the Mediterranean.
Starting point is 01:13:05 Whenever I picture a plane landing on water, you think of like, you know, it comes in and it's just like splice, splice, splice, splice, ever I'm getting so out, everything's inflated. Yeah. This video, it was like, the plane comes in and just like grazes the water and it's like, what do I say, I'm gonna snap it off.
Starting point is 01:13:22 It's like, a plane is not supposed to land on water. I mean, I don't even know why they bother with this inflatable raft. Well, that's why the Sully Sully's somewhere in the plane up your ass. I'm full of the plane. Where's the raft? Found it. Got it. Just like one guy.
Starting point is 01:13:36 God, that guy. He's like, psh. Oh, it's got out me. It's not gonna be a good thing. I mean, that's why that Sully Sully's home burger thing in the why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why that's why recording that. That's pretty cool. And basically, he's going, we've lost one engine. Oh, we lost the other engine and there's like, uh, community reroutus. And you can hear like the guy in the tower is going, we're trying to get you landing. We're trying to get you landing. He's like, we'll be in the Hudson. The guys, I go to Teterborough. They're like, we're going to be in the Hudson.
Starting point is 01:14:19 No, that's like, okay, we're just like, we've cleared the runway. He's like, we'll be in the Hudson. And then it's going, oh, yeah just like we've cleared the runway He's like we'll be in the Hudson and then it's cool. Oh I'm showing us the photo 78 Wow that looks 77 was a good year guest. Is that upside down? Yeah, oh That is not good I think it'd be cool if every seat in a plane had an eject button 250 people just go like the jack button. Too much like 250 people just go like boom yeah but then what if you hit it by accident
Starting point is 01:14:47 like someone gets mad at you midway to mind. That fucking crying baby. Jacked. Maa. The mask come down. They don't have flate. God. Oh man.
Starting point is 01:14:56 I don't know. I'm still I have no fear getting on a plane. No, I get I'm pretty calm and turbulence, like Bernie said this one, turbulence is something to do. I mean, I fly a lot and it's like, everything gets a bit rocky and I can sleep easier in turbulence because it's like someone's rocking me
Starting point is 01:15:12 to sleep. Really? But I was recently, like, I was flying through that hurricane Sandy on the way back from England recently. Yeah. And the turbulence was so off that people were screaming and like screaming out loud. And I was like, I could feel my heart rate going like, I was like,
Starting point is 01:15:27 oh, panic. Because it was screaming. The most emotion you've shown in, like, in years of panic. If you're not on the screaming, I'd be okay with it. It's just like, people. Yeah, no, like, screaming. What does screaming help with? I mean, like, I don't understand.
Starting point is 01:15:40 It brings everyone to a lot. Yeah, it causes panic. It's like yelling, firing a theater. Yeah, it's like when a's like yelling fire in a theater. It's like when a bloody meerkat like this. It's not like the pilot was napping. And he's like, oh, some screen. Oh, yeah. I got to fly this baby out. Sorry about that.
Starting point is 01:15:53 Everyone falls over upside down. Click on the anti-terbulous button. And it's like, no, they're calm down. It's the right way. Yeah, exactly. I don't know why I actually think about screening. When we think about roller coasters. Oh yeah. Which made me think about like when I went to mind con.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Yeah. Anyone here who have been to like Disney Land or Disney World? Up here. I've been to theme parks, but not Paris, but I've been to the one. Well, I can say. So you have written like Big Thunder Mountain over there. The Big Thunder Mountain is really cool. Like you get on it and then right away, you're like in a tunnel in the pitch black for
Starting point is 01:16:23 like 45 seconds a minute and I was like what the fuck's going on and then when you come out you realize that you've gone under a lake and you've come out on an island in the middle of a lake and that's where the roller coaster is it's on the island the middle of the man made lake so the roller coaster is like on the thick mountains and like going around and the space is pretty cool there too right it was fucking closed when I was so they call it space. So it's the Space Mountain chapter two, and it's supposed to be like all Jewels Vern theme. Ha, sweet. And that Space Mountain supposedly has a loop in it.
Starting point is 01:16:51 Oh, really? But it was fucking closed. Yeah, I think actually that was the second inverted roller coaster at Disney. And the first one was actually the rock and roller coaster at Disney MGM Studios, which is now Disney Hollywood Studios. And that one, it's indoors and like you flip over three times. Is that the Aerosmith one? Yeah, it's actually really, really bad ass.
Starting point is 01:17:10 And I got to ride it one time when I was there, when I was working there, and they turn off all the lights and sound. So they just launch you out and it's pitch black and you can't hear it. I mean, you can't hear anything like they normally have. And it's like riding a roller coaster in complete darkness and you have no idea what's gonna happen.
Starting point is 01:17:24 That's a fucking experience to have really cool. like riding a roller coaster in complete darkness and you have no idea what's going to happen. That's, it's a fucking experience. There's a roller coaster in England in a theme park called Alton Towers, called Air, where you lie down on it. So you, you, you, you strap into it and then the floor lowers so you're just hanging. And then it like tips you, so you're like facing the ground. And then it just goes like, so the most fun thing to do is like, you're, you're like this and then you're leaving down, you end up just hanging from it. You just do that. But then it flips upside down, you just like lie on the back of a roller coaster, it's going through. It's really like, it's not very fast, but it's just really relaxing.
Starting point is 01:17:52 And you just like spin and relax. The world's relaxing roller coaster. Yeah, it's really good. I actually really like roller coaster, I was always scared as a kid, but then I had to just, there was one called Stealth in England where you just, it just like one of those naught to 80 miles an hour and two seconds. That's cool. Like, there's the incredible Hulk at, uh, at the islands of adventure in, uh, in Orlando was fucking awesome. It's like, you're going up a
Starting point is 01:18:15 hill, like a normal roller coaster where, you know, you expect to get to the top and then go down and pick up speed. But as you're going up, it does the thing where it like, it drops you backwards for a second and then it just launches you and you go from like nothing to flying out of the end of the two. The first one, the stealth one in England way, so you shoot full as you go up a loop and then down loop. There's all these videos on YouTube where it doesn't make it. It's like roll back.
Starting point is 01:18:37 It's like, you just shoot up and you see it like this. And it's like, I live in the, because people are like scared to start. Oh, yeah, yeah. Everyone's like, everyone comes up and then back to the side, everyone's like, whoa. So why doesn't it make it? I guess sometimes it just doesn't have enough speed. Like the people are too fat or something like what?
Starting point is 01:18:53 You can hear, like when you're standing on the line, you can hear it charging, like you can hear all these hydraulic stuff going like, like, shh, shh, shh, shh. So it's like, you feel like it's building up a lot of pressure, and it's just like, yeah, there's a Ferrari one. I love, by the way, how you make sound effects for all of this stuff.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Like you've been making the non-stop. What match do you mean just doing this? There's less. That's great for the audio podcast. There's a Ferrari coaster in I want to say like in Dubai or somewhere like that or there that Good good job there Gavin Or the United Arab Emirates. That's just like supposed to go from like like zero to like one thirty years something like that It's some crazy speed. So sure it's not kilometers. No, it's it's I want it's it's over a hundred miles per hour I know that but it's are you roller coaster? Yes, and like there's the top-throw dragster and see your points I think there's a it's a Ferrari world in Abu Dhabi Abu Abu Dhabi, okay. How fast is it go? I've found the Ferrari world.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Okay, okay. But they have a roller coaster that is like crazy fast. But I love the idea of Ferrari world. That's like. So I've been up since 5am. Why? Because. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:59 I had a dream that I put myself. I thought it was real. So in the middle of, well, I guess the morning, you want to say so? Real fast, okay. So the name of the roller coaster is the formula rossa. Okay, and it goes 240 kilometers an hour, which is 150 miles an hour.
Starting point is 01:20:16 Wow, dude, can we have it? It's only 1.4 miles in length. So you do it immediately. Well, that's like top 12 drags. For all it is, there's a straight line up a hill, and then there's a loop, and then goes back, I mean, it's arcs over, and then comes, like, so you do it immediately. Well, that's like top 12 drags. For all it is, there's a straight line up a hill, and then there's a loop, and then goes back, or it goes, I mean, it's arcs over, and then comes back down, and then you're done.
Starting point is 01:20:30 But it's like, that one's like zero to, I wouldn't say that's like zero to 100. That's cool. And that, but that, I think, I don't know if that's the world's fastest coaster. That's definitely one of the world's fastest coasters. I think there's down for roller coasters, really? It's not one fast enough for you.
Starting point is 01:20:44 No, I mean, no, the same, more or less. Just, I think so anyway. I just like speed. No, do you like taking the goofy photos in roller coasters? No. That's one of my things. I have a collection of dumb photos from roller coasters. Or like, I'll take it like a map.
Starting point is 01:20:58 Then you have to buy that. Oh, here we go. We got a photo from the, from the glory world. Is that really it? That's not really it. That's it. You guys are so shithead. Someone get on that. You're a pushover. I don't have to. That's not really it. That's it. You guys are so sure someone get on the
Starting point is 01:21:07 your fish. I don't know what you're saying. Man, yeah, the thing, you know, that's them obviously working on it. You can see like construction around it. But no, it's done. Man. So it goes zero to one fifty and four seconds.
Starting point is 01:21:17 That's awesome. They're not telling me anything. It's 4.8 Gs. Anyway, so you got to dream you put yourself. Right, so I dreamt of putting myself. I like, I wake up kind of not sure if it's a dream, but I don't know risk it. I don't know just go about sleeping in a puddle of poo. So I grip my boxes up and like, water all the way to the toilet. I'm like, moment of truth. And I, like, white, it was fine.
Starting point is 01:21:31 Like, super clean. We can like pull down your pants and see. That would be the moment of truth. You can just feel it. You won't feel shit in your pants. I was half asleep. But the reason I think I dreamt of this is because at the weekend, Jeff came bustin' into my room.
Starting point is 01:21:43 Like, Jeff, I live with Jeff. I think I dreamt of this is because the weekend Jeff came bustin' into my room, like Jeff, I live with Jeff, Jeff in the hard live comes to my room. So he like flings the door up and he's like, you won't believe what I just did. And he had a look of like, he looked like he's seen a ghost, he's like,
Starting point is 01:21:58 I just shit my pants. And I don't realize, he's like holding his pants, like you mean you shit your pants and then how to shower and then came to tell me or you just shit your pants, he's like, no, no, I mean you should, you should hit your pants and then had a shower and then came to tell me or you just shit your pants, he's like, no, no, I just shit my pants, I'm gonna go and change. So he was talking to me like an ass load of poopoo. And then, then after, it was a literally an ass load.
Starting point is 01:22:15 Literally, boom, boom. Then he came back and I was like, so you just shit your pants? He's like, yeah, I was watching football just shit my pants. So I was like, did it go in your boxes or did you just get it in the cheeks? And he was like, dude, it went on the couch.
Starting point is 01:22:27 Oh. Who does that? He's 37. He's not 37. He pooped on the couch. I live with him. I have to live with him. So anyway, it's in my head. I'm worried about like every fart now. He's like, careful about it. Well, at least you guys said you have like a plethora couch, right? So at least the plethora. Yeah, it's not like fabres. Not like this thing where it's gonna like soak into the couch. That's still incredibly disgusting.
Starting point is 01:22:53 Oh man, watch out for the shit spot you have left. Yeah, no kidding. You wouldn't tell me which bit of the couch you have. It's a game. So Jordan, who's one of our, was one of our interns here, is tweeting at us. Why aren't you here? Yeah, what's like Larry? Yeah, I guess he's
Starting point is 01:23:07 I don't know and He's so he's not here crazy. So he's always he's the colonist I think Since he's a student and he's an intern that since school let out he's Oh, man, oh his internship's over. I'm being told. Whoa! I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:29 I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:37 I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don and like what they study in college. I realized that of the six
Starting point is 01:23:47 achievement hunters here in the office only two of us went to college. Myself and Ryan went to college. I'm pretty sure. I went to college. But he didn't finish though. You said went to. Yeah, see me finish college. How the McQuala. Important distinction my friend. So right right in myself, we both finished college. Gavin never wins. I did apply. I go, you filled out the four. I'm feeling at the forms of the first battle. It's like 20 pages.
Starting point is 01:24:10 They were a nightmare. I got accepted to several universities. I just decided not to go. It was Hogwarts. No. I just said to go to a job. Did that instead? I'll go it's hard.
Starting point is 01:24:21 It's funny because you're the British. Wait, so you did? Yeah, I went to college for a year. I went to Queens College really yeah, well, what was your major? Did you ever have a princess? Did you see yes, thank you Come on, I got some love from Barbara Barbara joke Murphy and our sitting all there looking for I did not did you go for the Education and I wanted to I to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:24:45 I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:24:53 I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people.
Starting point is 01:25:01 I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm not going to be a lot of people. I'm came useful right? And I know it. Yeah, I went for a year also. Then like I realized that like the internet was taking off. Yeah, exactly. I was like, oh, I'm gonna get famous with the internet. I'm not famous. I'm gonna get rich on the internet. Like, might get a job making stupid videos. That's a video rich. You got famous on the internet. Yeah, I'm gonna get rich. Yeah, somebody got a cash in that fame. Yeah, like college is sucks. You have to pay like so much money for textbooks and this that and the other thing
Starting point is 01:25:28 I mean, I like I went to you know, I went for a film degree at UT and like my textbooks never cost I think never spend more than I think $200 and once mister Which is a lot but like did you get love minzda? I had fun in college. Yeah, yeah went a bit wild. You will minigunter. I doubt that. Oh, yes. You went a bit jazz hands on it. Yes, one of the jazz hands. So I loved, well, the one thing, like you talked about, like textbooks and paper college and stuff, I had some pretty good, like, academic scholarships. So I essentially got, between scholarships and grants, I got paid to go to school. Nice. Where, like, my entire tuition and housing was covered and I got money for books and there was even extra like beyond that. So like every semester people or the two semesters I went people would go they'd be all upset that have to write
Starting point is 01:26:13 checks to the university. I'd get in the same line and be like, boy I'm here for the money. What are you guys doing? Like give me a check. Like here's your popular. Yeah, here's your money. All right. See you guys later. I feel like with job now if there's two people, one person who doesn't say somebody applied here, and somebody new you, for example, I feel like somebody with a college degree and doesn't know you will not get a job, but somebody who knows you and has no college education.
Starting point is 01:26:36 Like, I think you need to know, buddy. It's who you know now, which is now. Oh, you have to have work already out there. Yeah, that's the most important thing. Like, if you, if you want to see you have experience and you produce stuff that people see, I think that's more important than the book. Lots of times people email, if you want to see you have experience and you produce stuff that people have seen already, I think that's more important than that. Yeah, like, lots of times people email you, they want to know how to get a job at Ristratheath
Starting point is 01:26:51 or in a similar kind of company. And like, they want to know, they're always like, what should I major in? You know, what should I do in school? And what I always say is, you shouldn't wait, worry about like a major, what you do in school so much, just do something, like make something, get practice at it, get skillset. I did that exact same thing to get my job here when I came. I just made a ton of Halo videos and I was eventually asked to do the Griftpool highlights when we invented Griftpool back then, which is now five years ago.
Starting point is 01:27:17 That's crazy. We made Griftpool five years ago. But the guy today, I was talking to him and he's like, yeah, I turn in like this guy he turned in and out or in a resume and he also turned in a real And I'm like a real is so good like you never see people like they're always like oh, yeah Here's everything on paper. I graduated with this degree. That's like no What would you produce like that shit out of here? Exactly show me something nice your chef. I mean there are some jobs where if you don't have a degree
Starting point is 01:27:41 They'll just throw away your application there right so it. So it is important to have I do a doctor Please agree Okay, Ruchite not as important. Yeah, but there's a YouTube of you doing surgery. Yeah, it doesn't kind of a doctor real Unless you have a doctor can't go on Google and be like where is the spleen? Something that you said that is kind of the same with me I was just really interesting. Something that you said that is kind of the same with me. Somebody sent me this on Twitter. It was a podcast.
Starting point is 01:28:07 I think it was like episode 10 of The Drunk Tank and Jeff was talking about you and Jeff. We're talking about a video I made, like a Wolfenstein video and Jeff was talking about it. And it's funny to listen to that podcast and then like fast forward. I think like it's three years. It's like, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:20 It's funny how I worked out. I remember that video. Yeah, because Jeff's like, what was that kid's name? Brown, man, something. Brown, I was like, yeah, that video yeah, because Jeff's like what was that kid's name brown Yeah, brown. I was like yeah, yeah, it was yeah, it was Wolfenstein 3D for the Xbox I've arcade. No, I mean that's exactly it It's so crazy We don't have it. We don't have a typical intern program I mean like don't want to be like people are like we get emails all the time people asking how do I get a job at achievement hunter And it's like like we have the community videos. And we call people from that.
Starting point is 01:28:46 That's where we found you. I mean, that was something where it was like, if you show that you can be consistent and you can be quality and you're there, you just keep worrying about stuff. It's like, eventually, we watch all those videos. And it's like when we see the people that are really, really good, those are the people we're going to look at when we are in a position to hire again.
Starting point is 01:29:03 These jobs. The periods have gotten warm. Did you finish the first one? I couldn't finish this one. This is good. It tastes like chocolate. It's like hazelnut coffee. Looks like a drink. A two-sips out of it. Yeah, it's really like super...
Starting point is 01:29:13 Yeah. Drink more. What do you mean? So, right. Yeah, what's up? Eventually, you're going to like try a beer, right? One day. I mean, I guess. I would try that, but I probably spit it out immediately I think you should because the thing that the thing would be a for me you want to you have to push past the barrier of like this is gross yeah
Starting point is 01:29:31 like beer when you first start drinking beer is not good yeah but I don't want to do that why why can't you just drink someone be good yeah what yeah like sex on the beach or something but you have sex on the beach you get sand everywhere yeah you're at sex on the beach? No. No. Wait, three more minutes. No, like have you ever fucked someone on a beach, boy or girl?
Starting point is 01:29:50 No, no. No, no. Are you getting sand in your pee hole? What do you mean, near? Like in the parking lot? No, the hotel was near beach. That was not that, doesn't it? Tell the cats.
Starting point is 01:30:00 Tell the cats. I'm telling you what, I can't. Made the earth quite toppled it over. It's from our balcony. You could have jizzed on the beach. I was fucked in the how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts.
Starting point is 01:30:16 I'm gonna tell you how to tell you how to tell accounts. I'm gonna tell you how. Like I see that, man. I can see it. I fucked on the moon. God, no more. Has anyone done that on the vomit comment?
Starting point is 01:30:31 Just had a little shag in 0G. I think there was a porn that was filmed. Really? Yeah. That must be pull out. How do you... I mean, I think being a dude that's to wipe that thing down after like streaks of jizz floating through the head. Yeah, PA on the head. It was really a porn film. I think that's a white that thing down up like streaks of jizz Play it through the p.a. on the
Starting point is 01:30:47 Really important film I think there was let me look at so I can't be true as much as I'd love for it to be true That can be zero G-Port also who is good at that who knows how to do it in zero? Yeah, I imagine the guy is looking like a new is doing It's like Well Yeah is doing the right thing. It's like, you're spinning like, oh, yeah, over here. That's not the wall. I'm like, it is mouth is out of nowhere.
Starting point is 01:31:08 Don't you only have like, like, like, I mean, I don't really have like 20 seconds of actual suspension. Yeah. I guess I'm looking at it's article. It's like, it's plenty of time, right? There's an article here from 2008, let's put it on CNET, that Virgin Galactic turned down an offer of a million dollars from a porn producer to shoot zero gravity
Starting point is 01:31:26 No, they just did not let it happen. Well, they'd have to change the names of their their spaceship no longer a Versus galactic the slutty one who lose galactic I can't find it. I thought there was but yeah, like I can't is. There was, I saw an article on Dead's Bin recently, or a few months ago that they filmed, like there was a porn film that USC's football stadium, like the Colosseum, like there's like the start of one or whatever, it's like cheerleaders, cheering or whatever.
Starting point is 01:31:57 And it's like, how did, how did I get the rights to do that, you know? Like, it's a lot more legit than that couple above the U-TEP football stadium. And that you know, yeah. Yeah, circle them like, oh, these guys are having fun. It's like, oh, he's gonna hand job, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:32:13 You see that? Yeah, I was like, it was a, it was a, I think it was a bowl game or maybe it was a U-TEP game. And like they have this big hill next to the stadium when like students go up there. And it's kind of a little, you know, sparser. Yeah. And like there was like a guy and a girl
Starting point is 01:32:24 they were pretty close together. And the guy like, you guy circled them to go, look at this couple. And then it comes to realize, as I got closer, her hand was in the guy's pants. They're having a good time. Mike Lowry just tweeted something, not safe for work. Yeah, I looked at that article. It's all simulated fake 16s. But I appreciate it, Jordan.
Starting point is 01:32:42 I was just reading that article saying the goal was to say. Can we renew his internship? There we go. We proved himself. We need a porn intern just to be like, all right. Apparently he's working part time now. Congratulations. I take back my suck at nerd. Congratulations. Nerd. Make it happen. He's awesome. I love he will like look for work to do. That's awesome. That's good. That's not us. OK, what's the weirdest place you've done it, Gus? Where's the place I've done it, the butt? Or is it?
Starting point is 01:33:12 OK. What's the weirdest place I've done it? I don't know. Did you do it in like a planetarium one? So you tried to? We tried to, but it was too small of a planetarium. We're still talking about that. What I was like, it wasn't a planetarium,
Starting point is 01:33:28 but it was a lecture. Planetarium, fucking huge. Lurich in the store, what happened was, I had a boy gun. I was in New Zealand, I can tell it's far, it was my wife. Okay. And we were walking around some park in Wellington,
Starting point is 01:33:42 and we saw a planetarium, like, oh, let's go to the planetarium, let's have sex in the Planetarium. Like, okay. Because you figure it's like a big theater, right? It's gonna be empty. It's like the middle of the day, the middle of the week. Yeah, but there's kind of cameras in there.
Starting point is 01:33:52 Oh, there's like, like, it's, you know, like a bus full of schoolchildren. So, what if a big announcement came in? We walk in, and it's like, millions of years ago. Like, there's like five chairs, like dining room chairs in the middle of a disjiant room. We're like, this is kind of weird.
Starting point is 01:34:09 And then like, instead of there being an announcer, like a prerecorded voice, like a guy walks in with a text book and like sits with us. And then like the lights turn down. So we have to sit with this guy. He's like explaining everything. We're like, I bet you lost your banner. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:34:23 I like the fact that you're wanting to watch. I was like, dude, just talk about the stars. Just look at it, bro. I like the fact that you once told this story on a podcast, except you changed the main point of the story. You were like, we really wanted to take a nap in a planetarium. And after you were like, I was totally lying about the nap. You were not going to bone in there.
Starting point is 01:34:39 After I told the story, my wife said, why didn't you tell the truth? Why didn't you say the only way I could do that? I turned my mouth sexy. It's like, okay, if it ever comes back, I'll tell the story. Well, there we go. Here we are. It just doesn't, doesn't care. She is laid back, man.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Yeah, she's a best. She's got that. No, you're right, you're right, very, very cool. Like, we got to hang out a little bit during RTX stuff last year. Shout out to Esther. Yes, Esther is awesome. She's probably not watching right now, but I'll be home soon. Yeah, that, that planetarium was so disappointing.
Starting point is 01:35:08 It was New Zealand. Yeah, it was a New Zealand. So where'd you go after that? Um, you had to find somewhere, right? No, well, we didn't end up like it was such like a like the problem was that it was then we were jet lagged and it was so boring and we were like having to force ourselves to say, wait, because the guy was right in front of us staring at us that we were just exhausted after that. I really want to do that thing that they didn't...
Starting point is 01:35:25 Uh, uh, pardon me. They didn't roll models where you both bush asleep and pill and see you can... You're like trying to... Yeah, I was just trying to stay awake long enough. Yeah, actually, gets the point where they could do it before they both were asleep. Roll models was surprisingly a funny movie. It was. It was funny.
Starting point is 01:35:40 That little kid was funny. There were some movies they talked about that once where you down like, like two, like not nightclub or whatever, what were the sleeping pills are you like take two of those and like drink a beer and then try to masturbate before you're lost. That's so accepting. Like either way you're gonna win. I can tell, like it's one of those things.
Starting point is 01:35:56 I can tell I would be all up for that until I actually didn't, I was like, I would just give up immediately. Even though I think I wouldn't, I know I would. I saw something, I think it was on Tash.0. And it was like, Daniel Tash would have four interns, and they all had a Viagra, and they all watched the gate porn, and whoever popped the bone at first was like a loser. In the end, they're all losers.
Starting point is 01:36:16 Yeah, that's true. Can we do that for a let's play? Go for it. So do you think we should do that in less play? Because we obviously just come up with ideas, some of them in the office. Which one? The idea was jumped around do you think we should do that? Let's play the world because we obviously just come up with ideas I'm in the office which one I mean I think it was jumped around today that we should all try and get the mile high club Achievement even though we already you have it right? I don't have it. All right. Well, I have it You have it yeah, but the first one to do it and we all just let race like independently trying they are like we all get set up on or even
Starting point is 01:36:38 Even we did it like like an hour a day at most like okay We have one hour if anyone gets it they win and then after an after an hour, it's like, okay, no one wants it. That should be a one where we actually do film us doing it. Like just stick your camera in the corner of the room and because that was the one time I broke in control of. You broke in control of that? Really? I did it in 45 minutes, nonstop.
Starting point is 01:36:56 Just keep going, going, going, going, going, going, going. You're the worst. You're the worst. I don't think you should restrict yourself to an hour. No, no, I'm sure, no, I'm saying keep trying. Like, okay, today we didn't get it. We'll do another hour. No? You should go all the worst. I don't think you should restrict yourself to an hour. No, I'm sure, no, I'm saying keep trying. Like, OK, today we get to get it. We'll do another hour. No?
Starting point is 01:37:07 You should go all the way. Yeah, that's the frustration. If you don't get it, we just can't go home. Right. Honey, I'd love to see the kids, but you know, I need to save this hostage. Trying to get off this plane. But the only thing is, is like, the third you get through it,
Starting point is 01:37:22 the next attempts are so much shorter. Like, if I make it all the way to the back and then up the stairs and I'm almost at the door and it's like, frick you, I do that thing. And then I die there, then I can't make it through the first door. Yeah, I do that thing, or I do something over and over again. Like that, for example. Like, say I get to the hostage and then I get to the room before.
Starting point is 01:37:37 I'll do it enough time, so now I'll just forget how to play. And then for like 10 minutes, I'll be like, all right, this first guy keeps killing me over and over again. Because usually, like, running away is for good. I just stab the guy that comes out of the bogs. On the back of me. And then like, and then all of a sudden, you'll be like, all right, this first guy keeps killing me over and over again. Because usually you're like running against for good. I just stab the guy that comes out of the bogs. On the back of me and then like, and then all of a sudden you're just like, and you end up like stabbing the wind out. That's exactly what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:37:51 And I'm like, let's do this part. And the guy just stab me every time. Yeah, you end up with the arms through the wind and your thumb right up your rectum is done. Which is the weirdest place you've had to do. Yeah, it's just right there. Yeah. Um. We really went on a strange tangent.
Starting point is 01:38:06 We got rid of the nominations. We got mad away. We did. It's also we've been drinking. As the night go on, we smash it. I'm proud to say that you mentioned any form of genitals for at least an hour. You did. You started the podcast off that way.
Starting point is 01:38:20 Did I? We were talking about your JT. Your John Thomas. Pollocks. Did I? Yeah. What I just wanted to say. We're talking about your JT. Yeah. Your John Thomas. Paul X. Well, we're getting close to the point where we need to wrap up. You would normally Bernie fights me on this. I know you guys aren't going to fight me.
Starting point is 01:38:33 I'll step up. Sure. We're in the Bernie chair. So Jack has a good. What's going on? One last time he did it. Sorry? One last time he did it.
Starting point is 01:38:42 It's been a while. Yeah. Dry patch. A little dry streak. streak. Yeah, you a lot of this What about you I don't talk about that kind of thing on the Exactly, I don't talk about shit. I get plus you ask a question. We got to run that yeah, yeah It's fair. I answered now you answer. Yeah, when's the last time? Yeah, say it recent say it recent I'll go down at it at the exact day. Okay. The other day. Like within the last two days.
Starting point is 01:39:07 Within the last month. What day is it? Yeah. Tuesday. It's a fucking podcast. I meant date. Did you think? So we had the Rupert Heath Christmas party last Friday. Did anything crazy happen? I was out of town during it. Anyone that in did joy.
Starting point is 01:39:22 You're gonna say it will take his pants off or anything. Your wife texted me afterwards saying that I had pretty hair. So. She also texted you calling you a pussy. Yeah, she's been a pussy, yeah. So I was appreciating. So what you like to do? Like, what hair was your calling?
Starting point is 01:39:34 It was just a space. Oh, it was the same text message. Pretty hair. Pussy. Or was it pretty pussy hair? Yeah. Hey. Thank you, Kyle.
Starting point is 01:39:43 I was really, really pushing it. Yeah. Thank you Kyle. I wish you were close. Yeah. Yeah. She was like, she was texting you the next morning. She's like, I'm texting Gavin last night. Yeah. Yeah. She's like, yeah. She's like, she's she got to go away with it because she texts me saying, sorry about this text. And I was like, what? And I just scrolled up. I was like, oh, I guess we were texting that. Good that. Oh,. Did anything happen? Anything chaotic? No it was a good time. You know everyone I got we had a wrist or a cake. No no.
Starting point is 01:40:09 Something did happen. What happened? Dustin got kicked out of two places. What? Well first he wasn't allowed in Lustapur because he couldn't spell Mississippi. I hear someone. Carous shouted from the other room, Gavin, you are so mean. Carous get out here and defend yourself.
Starting point is 01:40:32 We get an idea and the guy stops dusting for somebody. He's like, hey, spell Mississippi. I probably couldn't. Is dusting from it? Did you have a Mississippi ID? I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, I guess it's like a text. What was it on his ID though? No, he had to do. They have a Mississippi ID. I don't know. I'm not. Yeah. I can't see if you just draw. But was it on his ID though? Oh, okay. I'm not
Starting point is 01:40:48 from Texas. Anyway, for Mississippi, Texas, it was, it was, it was awesome. And they turned him away. So we went with him because we're not going to just leave. Oh, he told the bouncer he couldn't do that. Even if he was sober. Oh, come on. Man, that's your problem. Yeah. And then he was a little drunk. Yeah. Well, everyone was kind of like, wait. But we all got attacked. Or we all got taxis home, right? So like, it was all taken care of.
Starting point is 01:41:11 Maybe. Well, you don't drive. So you're fine. And then we went to another place, and he ended up getting kicked out of there too. So Louis, Louis, were dusting on that one. Jesus. I do not.
Starting point is 01:41:18 I stayed at the place we had the party at the home. I then I went home. Instead of banging stuff. Yeah. I was drinking with Michael and Vines Beach. So that was exciting. With the homeless people, with the homeless, dude, the crazy fucking homeless people.
Starting point is 01:41:31 Never go to Vines Beach at night when it's raining. That's my warning to you. The place we stayed at, we were out there checking out Dead Space 3 and the place we stayed at was literally a block from the main part of Vines Beach. And so Michael and I were like like walk down to get some food And we found out like this pizza stand and we were eating our pizza and there was this dude just like cursing and wrapping next to us And it was like don't look him directly in the eyes scarf this thing down. Oh my god contact
Starting point is 01:41:54 There's like let's get back to the hotel as quick as we could and there was probably 200 homeless people waiting by the beach A school bus rolled up filled full of them and his draw-off I have no idea where it was going. This school bus filled full of them in his drawer. I have no idea where it was going. What do you mean the school bus filled full of them? Of the homeless people. It was an empty school bus pulled up, loaded up with homeless people, okay, I got you in.
Starting point is 01:42:12 And drove away. What were you imagining? Like I thought a bus showed up that was already filled with them. It's just stopped, stopped, stopped. I was like, oh sorry, homeless dudes, buses full. We're in for the next one. No room at the end, bitch. But no, so yeah, it was like, oh, sorry, you almost do buses full, but wait for the next one. Yeah, no room at the end bitch. But no, so yeah, it was fun out there, but you know, we got to check out Dead Space 3,
Starting point is 01:42:31 which kicks ass, by the way. Oh my god, the game looks so awesome. That's okay. I totally missed. I should try that. Dead Space 3. So that's basically what I'm saying. Dead Space 1, you can probably beat in about 12 hours.
Starting point is 01:42:42 That's a great game. It's fantastic. It's fantastic. They have some really interesting mechanics in that game. Like where when you do the mapping thing like where your objective is, you like project that light down on the floor and it tells you like the way you should do that. And your health is integrated into your armor. Yeah, there's no HUD and it's all like you like based on how many lights are on your spine of your armor. How much health you have. Yeah, it's it's really really
Starting point is 01:43:03 well. It's real immersive in like the stories fantastic. Am I going to get sketched like play with someone? You probably will get scared. I'm pretty convinced like the only reason Joel made that achievement video for achievement, in dev space 2 with Dave is because he was too sketched planned on Zayn. God I got so pissed off during that video. Because I was fucking calling me. I was doing something in my phone kept ringing and it was joling. I was like, how do you door? How do you do? You can hear my progression.
Starting point is 01:43:32 I first answer the phone and I'm like, oh, what's up, what can I help you with? And then by the third time, you call it, what do you want? Because I only had your side of that store and you were like, I guess, cooler, like a mechanic to get the door. Did you know that it's a game or something? No, it was just carous screaming. How do you door? I'm a claw. How do you claw? How do you claw? I was like I don't know click? I like the videos that Dave's in you click on a cell phone It was his desk was my desk. Oh, so yes, he does click
Starting point is 01:43:59 Okay, I'm not click on a cell phone. I panic every time one of those phones go off by the way Yeah, I know our desk. Yeah, I'm like that's where cell phone. I panic every time one of those phones go off by the way Yeah, I know our disc rooms. Yeah, I'm like, that's where we have those. I want my professional I'm not when it's not connected to anything. I'm what one that only you and I to talk. Yeah, you know me I think Jeff a little bad this is X-ray. I need you for commentary We always had to unplug the phone in the conference room whenever we had the butts me in because we were always parent of the Yeah, bring us back. Yeah, you can't listen in you can't Oh, yeah, you can't but it makes the noise. Yeah, that's top secret meeting. We just unplugged anyway. It's out safety. But it's meeting coming. So, yeah. So, you
Starting point is 01:44:31 know, iTunes had their, they used to call it iTunes rewind, but they had their best of 2012. I'm talking about iTunes. Oh, sorry. YouTube never called it rewind. The reason you rewind that came out today. Right. They never changed it to best 2012. iTunes. I used to have their rewind. I'm thinking of a bus full of homeless people now. I love you so much. Yes, I did draw all of myself to come. I was always on the same day.
Starting point is 01:44:54 Maybe this time's out of the podcast. Maybe I'll be gust this week. So iTunes used to have the rewind. And now they had, but they changed it to the best of, and they had their best of 2012. And for podcasts, they didn't list the best gaming podcast. Really? All they listed was Editor's Choice,
Starting point is 01:45:10 Comedy, and like one other category. So we're not on it. Yeah, we're not even in there. It's like, total bullshit. No editors chose us. We want to leave you, she want to leave it. It was like, we last week, we were like the number three most downloaded podcasts
Starting point is 01:45:22 on iTunes. We're all over the place. We've been in, no respect. When was the last time you weren't in the top 10? Oh, it's been two years ago Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I didn't I was good here. No, I mean it's like even say the YouTube rewind video came out And it like has you know pretty long and I what Hannah Hartson there and Jenna Marbles and like all these people I know and I just think yeah, the way thing- The way thing is I know it's about that video and everyone's been tweeting me the same thing is that on the opening title is about that.
Starting point is 01:45:48 Oh no one cares, no one tweeted you that, no one tweeted you that, who tweeted you that? I look at my feed, there's like 12 of them. Okay. I'm always sad. I was sad. No, keep going, keep going. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Okay Joel finisher damn story. What you want to talk about? Scaven so yeah so anyway so people asking like well how come rooster Tees not in there how come slow mo guys isn't in there that's like well the
Starting point is 01:46:10 slow mo guy sounds already in there so don't worry about that but what you knowledge to it God damn you the the the rooster Tees so the reason why is like if you look at it is like the majority of this people out in California so they're they probably pulled in everyone from LA and like close yeah they're all there so that's why probably why we aren't in it. I don't know or maybe there's like fucked those guys. So either way, I'm pretty sure that's not the case. Yeah, it's kind of like that's that's why we're not in. Although size is from South Korea, so they flew him out for I'm sure he's in the US constantly these days. Yeah, I'm sure he's got some sort of representation
Starting point is 01:46:39 out there. What do you mean? Visa. Probably. I would say he's a little famous at this point. So like like watching that video, I'm thinking about that. Actually made me a little famous at this point. So like watching that video and thinking about that, actually made me a little upset. Well, not at YouTube, but like so you say that all of these content creators, they're in Southern California, they're in the LA area. And I thought the purpose of the internet and creating video online was a decentralization
Starting point is 01:47:00 and creating a destabilizing force for the built-in. But at the end of the day, Neutr is there. They have to have headcoats somewhere. There was actually a ready video today, or a video. But why? I'm sorry, I'm going to cut you off. No, for it. Why does everyone migrate still to LA and to Hollywood to make it?
Starting point is 01:47:15 Why haven't people fully embraced the fact that you can be anywhere in the world? It doesn't matter. Look for a collaboration, you can't. Right, for collaboration, you can't. And that was one giant video a year. Correct. But for everything else can't so that was one one that one video a year Correct, but for everything else they're doing they don't have to be out in LA. Yeah, well there So there was a video that was up on Reddit today It was a it was a 2012 like a year in review and it was actually seemed to you most people were YouTube partners. Thank you
Starting point is 01:47:39 Whoever just fucking tweeted that you're in fucking genius. So there was video on Reddit It was a it was a year in review of all it was like called from YouTube videos And it was instead of like the instead of the YouTube partners like this is our year review It was actual videos pulled from YouTube and it was actually really really good It like it showed a lot of like you know like this sort of different events that happened throughout the planet in this year And it was it was like wow this is actually a really good representation of what YouTube can be. You know, this is a source where you can find videos from all over the planet, as opposed to these are our partners, which we love. We love the partners, but it's kind of like, this is more representative to me of what I think of when I think of the internet
Starting point is 01:48:16 and YouTube and stuff. So anyway, I'll send you a link for that. No, I'd love to see that. It's like about six minutes long. It's really, it's pretty emotional. It's like it goes from like really kind of sappy and sad to like happy. I mean, it's like about six minutes long, it's really, so it's pretty emotional. It's like it goes from like really kind of sappy and sad to like happy, I teared up a little bit. That means I'm all alone. There were some clips of like soldiers coming home and like, you know, their daughters running up to them
Starting point is 01:48:35 and stuff like that always gets me. So I got a little glassy, I didn't cry though. So I have a heart Gavin, unlike you. Yeah, well I'm looking at it. But some like, some bad stuff happened in this country. Recently, well, why I'm working on it. But some like some bad stuff happened in this country recently. All those kids got gunned. Correct. How do you feel about guns in this country now, guests? That's a very sensitive topic. That's incredibly sensitive topic. It's something that needs to be looked at. People need to talk about it. They
Starting point is 01:48:57 need to be a serious discussion about it. But you know, podcasting is not the platform to have that. Absolutely. This is a games and hobbies. But But, right, do you not like a country like England, where there's not really many guns, farmers have a shotgun. That's about it. And nobody really gets gunned now. Farmers have shotguns, I didn't realize that gun, like a private citizen could have a gun at all in the UK.
Starting point is 01:49:15 You can have guns if you own a lot of land and you have a license to think. Okay, I thought you couldn't at all. It's not very much like one weapon per acre. How much space you own. But you'll pro you pro gun. It's the very much like one weapon per acre or so much space you own, but you'll pro you pro gun. Um, it's loaded question. Yeah, that's a tough way to phrase it.
Starting point is 01:49:31 I hate you. I'm going to get you're going to get another hole in your desk after the podcast. Nice. Nice. You have to answer it. No, no, I think it's an insensitive time to talk about that. Just something that's perfect time to talk about that. Something is perfect time. I'm so glad.
Starting point is 01:49:47 Asshole. I'm gonna pull myself out of this cover. She's so real. Back to the salt. Joe, the catch right there. He's in the cat. Right. On that note, we're gonna wrap up.
Starting point is 01:49:57 Thank you, Gavin free, for derailing us. And Gus is gonna beat the shit out of you. Gus, I gave you an out. Give me an out. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Thank you for giving me the out. Jesus. All right, so we're gonna wrap up. Hey, I gave you an out Thank you for giving me the out Jesus all right, so we're gonna wrap up like I said we're gonna pre-record The podcast for Christmas Day and for New Year's Day But they'll still be streamed at the normal times so we'll still be bothering you with entertainment

I meant to bring the Xbox jacket again, but I'll put it in the video. We have the hoodie as well. Yeah, I forgot. Could you beat it to nerds after the podcast? Yeah. Alright, well let's end it.
