Starting point is 00:00:00 Come to a daddy? Come to a daddy? Come to daddy? Hello. And come to daddy? Hello? And come to daddy? What is that accent? That's his accent! Welcome to another episode What is that accent? That's his accent! Welcome to another episode of WheWambulance.
Starting point is 00:00:28 I'm Katie and I'm here with my friend Alan. Hey Alan. Come to Daddy? It's what he says. It's what he says. Katie, what are we doing here? That's a very good question. What am I doing with the last hour and half of my life?
Starting point is 00:00:45 It wasn't that recent, but still. Watching Hellraiser. Clive Barker's Hellraiser, 1987. Sorry, I didn't appropriately attribute it to Clive Barker. Listen guys, I know a lot of you really like this movie. You're just getting rid of this right out of the gate. I don't understand why. And I'm going to try to understand why through the course of this episode, but I anticipate that at the end I'll still hate it. Come to Daddy? I would like to drop in him saying that here.
Starting point is 00:01:15 Just so you can hear how close I am. Curse D. It's Frank. It's Uncle Frank. No. You remember? Come to Daddy? Get up! So where do you want to start, Katie? Come to Daddy. It would be better if he didn't say it's 67 times through the movie. Come to Daddy? It's just, okay. So this is a movie about... So there's this pervert named Frank.
Starting point is 00:01:40 Yeah. He needs to go extreme. He was just like, full on mountain doing this thing. So he gets this box, this puzzle box from a dude in a cafe in the Middle East? Yes, it appeared to be foreign country, in quotes. Frank pays a bunch of money for it, and he's like, it's always been yours. Then why charge him for it, you dildo? Because it's got to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be about to be a to be a to be a to be a the puzzle, to be? Because it's got to be about the journey. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:06 So the puzzle box sends you to hell for pleasure and pain? Like, already I don't see how these things connect. Do you know what I mean? I wonder if our dislike of athletic sex is going to wear into us not understanding this. Oh my God, Just calm down. So Frank has apparently disappeared or something and he has his brother Larry who's married to a woman named Julia who looks just like David Bowie did in 1987. I don't mean to be a dick but she does. Larry is a straight of whip like it.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Yeah. They inherit Larry's mother's mother's house I guess so, yeah. She dies and so it's Larry and Frank's mother. Julia puts out a cigarette on the original hardwood floors, which I hate her. I think that was supposed to make all of us hate Julia. See, that was a question I had, which we can get into later, is like, how are we supposed to feel about Julia? Because she's a villain, but she's also like a point a point a point, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, like, the the the the the the the the to.. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the the the the the the the the this movie through her eyes for the first half of it, I guess. You know, and it's hard to, that's a hard thing to do, to have it be a point of view character and also just like a hateful person.
Starting point is 00:03:10 Mm, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's a thing that doesn't really work for me. So they go up into this upstairs bedroom and they find a bunch of like, basically a flop house kind of thing happening here. Larry picks up a statue of like two people boning and he's like oh Frank's been here like oh I know my brother's porno statues anywhere. That's a dope statue by the way I would totally have that in my house as well as that whatever that saint was that was holding was it John the Baptist? I guess so that's a John the Baptist? I guess so that's awesome Salam I that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's a that's a that's a that's a the that's a the the that's a the the the that's a the the that's a that's a the the the the that's a the the the the the the that's a that's a that's that's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thononneneauauau is is is. Ia. I was I was I was not I was soa. I was. I was soa. I was. I'm soa. I'm soa. I'm soa. I'm soa. I'm so Yeah, Salamay beheads John the Baptist. Oh, Clive Barker directed a movie called Salamay early on. Yeah. A little nod to his nod.
Starting point is 00:03:50 There you go. There's also all these photos of Frank in like Flagrante delecta. Like, who took them? Who took those photos? Did you notice that he had pants Is that one of his kinks that he's got to do it through denim? That would be painful, I guess, for everyone. Zipper's gonna tear you up. It's gonna, I just,
Starting point is 00:04:14 so, hence they're getting the new house, or moving into this house? What to their dock? They didn't seem like clean or have we been like, well, moving on Sunday. They're moving from Brooklyn to... It seems suburban, I guess. It's a large house. Right, but it's obviously London, yet everyone who comes there has an American accent. That was a thing I wondered about because Frank's accent is so fucked.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I don't know if they were trying to like, yeah, I don't know if they were just adjusting it. It seemed dubbed, yeah. It's very weird. But Julia is not dubbed. No, no. She's the only one with a British accent. And it was shot in London. Like the film, I mean, those are like, architecturally, that's London.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Right. There's no getting away with not being London. London is in Vancouver that can just be any city. Yeah, but but but but but that, that, that that that that that that that that th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the the the the the the the the they they they's they's they's they's they's they's they're they're they're they're they're they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's, they's, they's, they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's they's, they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's. they's they's they's they's they's they're their they're their their their their their their their their their their their they. their they. they. they. their their their their their their their their their just be any city. Yeah. So, through a series of flashbacks, we find out that Julia had an affair with Frank right before her wedding to Larry. And we know it's in the past because her mullet is significantly longer. Where this cuss me to write the note, Frank isn't hot enough to put an unsolicited finger in someone's mouth. Everyone's putting their fucking fingers in their mouth and other people's mouths in this movie. That's gross. Don't do that. I'm sorry. This is going to be how this episode's going to go. I also have a note along those lines about Frank not being hot enough, but this is just a general note. This is a lot to go through for some dick. This is a lot to I don't know, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:05:45 I don't, this movie is about sex and puzzles. And hell, right? Right. And pleasure and pain. These things don't really work to, I don't know. It depends on your perspective, I suppose. It's taking some disparate elements of hell. I was 13 when I saw this movie for the first time, because that's when it came out. Gross.
Starting point is 00:06:09 I will say that, like, the sex stuff didn't really like register with me. Oh really? When I was younger, I was like, I don't know, it's just about pinhits, man. It's gonna be about pinheads. Spot on like I think the atmosphere of it is really like it's horror There's just like feeling of horror the into because they're in a gross house Yeah, the most terrifying scene in the movie is the taking the bed up the step scene Oh, when he screeps his hand on the mail. Oh, come on. It's so good. That is very good. And there also just a lot of like? Beautiful aesthetic? Aetically pleasing shots of like fires burning or I don't know like now I can't remember what else but like really artistic atmospheric things
Starting point is 00:06:54 that are nice and that's the last nice thing I'm gonna say I think the special effects are awesome in this movie oh yeah it's like it's so gross yeah but it's like that, that beauty and gross. Like he's definitely accentuating how beautiful the disgusting can be. Yeah, which is the same type of contrast as pleasure and pain. Yeah. Cool, cool job, Clive Parker. But just so you, if you haven't seen this movie and like, I guess see it.
Starting point is 00:07:22 We're gonna spoil it. You should definitely see it. It's free, so if you have Netflix, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th, it's th. th. th. th, it's definitely thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, it's definitely thi, thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thiiiiiiii. thiii. thi's thi's thi. thi's you should definitely see it. It's free so if you have Netflix. It's a classic. It is a classic though I don't understand why. Julia finds Frank's like gross skinless body walking and talking in this bedroom. After Larry cuts his hand and the blood, the blood revives Frank because he is a baby and walked in the room with the cut hand going mama mama he was bleeding quite a bit. Yeah but come on dude you don't just walk in and say deal with this like. The last time I cut my finger like chopping vegetables I literally just cried and held it above my head until my husband did something about it so So I don't know. I get that. I get that. All right. I guess I'm not a, yeah, whatever. So here's some questions. Sure. Yeah. One. Where was Frank? Hell? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:16 Two. Why does his brother's blood revive him? Because that was the room that he like got taken to hell in so his there was a bit of him still there it was obviously still some sort of portal involved in that room because they didn't need the puzzle box to have the centibite to enter that room there was some magic there. To be. The centibites say they've done this many times so do you get revived? Because they seem stunned by this revelation that he has come back. I mean, because God forbid you get taken in a bathroom. Do you know what I mean? Or actually, I guess that's better for you because it'll be easy for you to come back. Do you know?
Starting point is 00:08:53 I think this might be one of those things where you just kind of go, okay. I can't. That's that's the logic. That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the logic. that's that's that's the logic. I that's that's that's that's th. I that's that's that's that's that's that's that's a the logic. I. I that's that's that's that's. that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I's a. I's a. I. I. I'm. I. I'm. I'm. I that's a. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I t. t. t. t. t. t. t. that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. I that's. Let's move on. There is no lodg... Okay. All right. So Frank is like all grossed up and he looks gross and he looks great and he's like has the cheek bones and his face. It's like very you know anatomical and just upsetting. And the puppet head is fantastic. The original one that comes up and when he's like crawling across the floor so gross. I can't figure out why when he first comes back before he gets his blood he's warning this is going to be gross he's covered in jizz it looks like. It's a very slimy substance and he's scary until he starts talking. Come to daddy. I promise not to say it again except maybe one more
Starting point is 00:09:39 time. She'll definitely say it again. Yeah I can't stop. So he realizes that he needs more blood to continue to regenerate his body. And so Julia goes out and seduces men basically to bring them back to her house to kill them, which is a great plot. I'm into this plot so far. This is the first act. I'm in. She's bringing a series of Phil Collins is back to her house. They don't th th th they they they don't. They don't. They don't. They don't. They don't. They don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't they don't th. They don't th. They don't th. They don't th. They don't th. They don't th. They don't tho th. They don't th. th. th th th th th th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. thee. theooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo back to her in the house. They don't have accents though, you're right. Weird.
Starting point is 00:10:09 Yeah. There's something up with that. We could Google it, but I'm not going to. You can't if you want. No, it doesn't say where the movie's supposed to take place. I did a little bitthe daughter says that she... She has recently moved too, so it doesn't make sense that they would have moved from like Brooklyn to London. And then she also moved there but got her, I don't know. Right, because he definitely says, well we'll just move in on Wednesday.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah, right, right. You're not moving over. So that's pretty much the first act is Julia bringing these men back, killing them with a hammer, and th and th and th and th and th and th and the the the the thin' they, thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thi' thin' thi' thi' thi' thi'a'a'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n't thi.... thin'n't thin'n't thin'n't thin'n't thin'n't thin'n't thin'n't the the thease thease thea'ease tooooo'ease too'ease too'ease too'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n'n't them with a hammer, and then him like soaking them up and getting like a little more person looking each time, which is good and scary and upsetting and she like begins to like not feel as bad about it. So you kind of see this transformation in her. He starts to wear shirts but he's bleeding all over them. Like do you need the shirt, Frank, like maybe wait till you have skinned. He's a classy dude. He to like, like, like, like, he. He's, he. He's, like, th. He's, th. He's, like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to to th. to to to to to th. to to th. to to to th. th. to to to to to to to to, to, to, th. to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to. to. to. to. th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. the. the. the. the. the the. the. the. the. to the. to the. to thi. to, thi. I guess so. I guess Frank is very into wearing clothes, which doesn't make sense for his character at all. But the image of like the suit jacket soaked in blood is like a very like, it's a gross out image. It is. And like, who's laundering those for you? Frank is not doing his own laundry.
Starting point is 00:11:19 I guess he's wearing the clothes of the dudes who are being killed. Oh, I assume they were probably right. the their their th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. theeeeeee. the. to. thi. to. theeee. thi. thee. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Oh I assume they were Larry's clothes but you're probably right no you're probably right. Oh why are we trying to figure out that logic when this movie is just basically like someone pooped and they were like that makes sense. Someone poop? So he does this like exposition of how he got there and it's very clunky. Frank explains to Julia that he had exhausted all sensory experiences and sought out the puzzle box on the promise that it would open a portal to a realm of new carnal pleasures. Gross! But it just opens up to where the centibites.
Starting point is 00:11:55 What are centibites? Demons to some, angels to others. Fuck. They're, uh, they're demons who are real into S&M and opening, vaginal openings on their throats. Yeah, one totally is a vagina throat and one is totally a California raisin. Like, did any, did no one look at that and be like, I'm sorry, this is not appropriate. Which part? The vagina throat? No, the one that looks just like a California raisin. He th is the same th. He th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. They's th. They's the same th. T thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the same thi thi thi the same thi throw? No, the one that looks just like a California raisin. He's even wearing the same sunglasses. He heard it through
Starting point is 00:12:30 the grapevine. I don't know. I don't know. Is his sin just being chubby? That's sad. He has like a vagina stomach though, I think. He does, yeah. They were like this, he, I don't know. And then there's the chatterer which I think is probably the only really scary one except he doesn't chatter all the time just when he wants to which I think it would be better if he did it all the time when he wants to get your attention no don't don't please okay come on I've had one ah and then there's Pinterest and then the trusts I'm in a. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their. their. their. their's their's. their's their. their's. Doug Bradley, the most famous of all the centipites. He, uh, refused to be in the last movie I read. The one they did, the most
Starting point is 00:13:10 recent one. Oh wow. Yeah. That's my understanding. Originally, they weren't, none of them were supposed to have names. Oh really? But from what I read in the past, like they were just supposed to be these likehead and Chatterbox and fatty. No, it's not called fatty. It's called California Reason. And Gynethrone. Yeah, that one is definitely a gnathroat. It's also a cool concept, I guess.
Starting point is 00:13:32 It's also a cool concept, I guess, that there are these demons that will come and get you and to take you and to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to their their their their their to their their their to their to their their their to their thi. But it kind of goes with that, like the sort of junkie logic of it. Like you want to get high and you just want to keep getting more and more high. Like that seemed to be what Frank was. But why is it going to to hell? Like why is it going to hell? Well, he didn't know he was going to be he was going to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be the the the to be the the the the the the the the the the thr. to ha the to ha to ha to ha to ha to ha to ha to ha to ha the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the to the to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to be more the the the thr. thr. thi. thr. thr. thr. throngeaq. thr. thraq. tryn'aq. thra' thra' thra' thra' thr. thr. to be hever or hell. Like, it was going to be some version of that, and it just seems like he was cool with it. Frank's a dumb dummy? Yeah, Frank's only a dumb dummy.
Starting point is 00:14:09 You don't keep that amount of stubble at all times, thoubying some kind of dumb. It seems like it'd be hard to maintain. Yeah, because he probably sh is bringing these men back to the house and Larry's daughter, Kirstie, who has fantastic hair. Yeah, I had such a crush on her when I was a kid. She's lovely, a lovely girl. She looks a lot like, she's like Natalie Shortman.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Like, she's just like Natalie Portman. She sees Julia bringing these men back and assumes like she's having an affair. Yeah. But then her creepy Uncle Frank is like, come to Daddy. I'm sorry, but this is appropriate to say it now, because it's what happens in the movie. Yeah, after he kills, not Dan Ackroyd, he comes out and she sees that he's a skinless freak. Yeah. And start to tell her how beautiful she's become.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Like it immediately goes to just to just to go to go to go to go to go to go to just gross town. Yeah, but that's your niece. Yeah, I don't think Frank has a moral compass. Let's be working on it. And then he kills Julia. Well, that's later. Is it? Yeah, because he's already gotten Larry's skin by that point. The first time she sees him when she goes nuts and has to go to. Oh, yeah, she goes to the puzzle box? Yeah, because the doctor comes in and goes, maybe this will jog your memory. And also he's like, the police are going to want to talk to you.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Why? What had she done? Because she was covered in blood when they found her passed out on the street. Oh. Frank's blood, because he had been touching all over. Because he's disgust so shitty. What's vagina throat's called? Female centibite? This is according to Wikipedia. Butterball. Female centibite. Oh you're the girl. Can we quickly talk about the scene where she's working in the pet store and the guy comes in needs the handful of crickets? So gross. When they first, this guy is like a homeless man.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Homeless man? A homeless man that they have passed. He appears in several scenes. He's kind of seems to be creeping around. And for a hot second, I swear to God, I thought it was Captain Lou Albano. It's not. It's not. No, he eats a handful of the fucking the movie.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Yeah. He shows he he he he the th is shows shows th is shows th is shows th. He's is shows th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thoes, thi. thi. thathea. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the thi. thi. thi. thi. theea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. they. they's. they's. thea at the end of the movie. Yeah. He shows up a couple times, though. He's like in alleyways, he's like is peeping out, and I think he's in the subway or something. He's a terrible fake beard, too. So you have to leave. No, it's not true. Butterball. That is just, I am so done with this movie. Hi, I'm Fattie the Senate plane. Hi, I'm girl. So, so Frank, yeah, she runs out of the house after being attacked by Frank passes out in the street, goes to the hospital, gets the puzzle box back for some ungodly reason.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Wait, so why did he, what, the doctor had it? She threw it out the window and then picked it up down the street with it all dazed and crazed. Right. We haven't mentioned Steve, her boyfriend. He's cool. He does a disgusting cigarette trick, like heads up, that will not impress a woman. It did for her. She was totally into it. It's gross. I had the note that I bet Steve's into some pretty cool music. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah. What year is this? 1987? Yeah, some good stuff, man. Sone of a th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the th. S. S. S, th. S. S, th. S, th. S, th. S, th. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S. S good stuff, man. Son of a bitch. She's gotten the puzzle box back. She fucks with the puzzle box and it becomes very intriguing to her. It does not seem the puzzle is difficult to solve. Well, it shouldn't be because they want you to open portals to hell so they can come hang out with you. Why have a puzzle box at all? Why not just say I'm trying to get mean fucked? Mean fucked. Do you know what I mean? Is that like a search term mean-fucked?
Starting point is 00:17:47 I don't know. I don't know. Because that puzzle box looks awesome and as we've known since then, you can sell a shit ton of them to people. That's a valid point. So she opens the puzzle box and like figures it out and you just have to do some twist and nibbles and nibbles and then it makes magic-a-a-a little cute lights and then the wall opens up and a terrifying death monster comes running down a hallway at you. That is so scary.
Starting point is 00:18:10 It's like a scorpion fetus, baby monster? It's very, very upset. Yeah, very good. Very good. It's gnashing its teeth and it has four arms and no legs. How is it staying suspended the ceiling? I don't, I I, I, I, I, I, I, thin, thin, thin, thin, th, th, th, th, th, thin, thin, thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, thi, thi, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, theea, comes thea, comes thea-augh, comes theea, comes thea, comes thea, thea, comes thea, comes you have with this movie, I don't, I don't know what to tell you. No, we can get to my biggest problem in the movie later. So she runs back in in the door, the wall slammed shut and the things like still behind it so she fucks with the puzzle again to shut it up and then brings Butterball the lady the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their, th. th. the is is. the is. the is. that. that. that. the. the. the. the. the. the. the the the the the the the the the the the the movie. is is is is is is is is is is is is is is is is is is is. is is. is is is is is. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they is. they is. they is. they is. they is. they is. they. they. they. theyn. they. they. they. they. they. No. No. No, the. No, they is pinhead and chatterbox in and they're she's there they want to
Starting point is 00:18:46 kill her because that's what they do they're why though because they kill is what they do that's not what they do they take you to hell and then they have mean sex with you why would they just want to kill her well they want to they want to take her with her like they're not they're gonna to tak I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I they they they they they they they they they they to to to to to to to to they to to to they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they to they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they they wouldn't take her with her. Like, they can't go back to hell without somebody. So she makes, and she makes this deal that like, Frank has gotten away and she'll give Frank back to them if they'll let her go. But they don't, that's not what happens. They don't hold up their end up their end to the bargain. They're demons.
Starting point is 00:19:13 they're so much. It's so good though. At least he's not like quipping. No. That's almost worse that he's so serious though. It's worse that he believes in what he's saying? She goes back to the house and Larry is there, but it's not Larry. Not not a not her daddy. And she does not notice that his, the entire side of his face is covered in blood while she's like hugging and kissing him and kissing him on the mouth because, God, you're gross. This whole family is gross. And also like, is Larry's skin just draped over Frank because that cannot be? Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:19:58 I'm sorry, but that cannot be. That's all the sequels that happens again and again. That's all how these his work. I know, but didn't face off ruin that for everyone. All right, that's fair. Nick Cave and John Travolta don't even have the same size heads. Nick Cave? Where were the bad seats when this was happening? Oh my god, how much better with that movie? Like every time it just cut to Nick Cave and he's just smoking, he doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't doesn't th and he doesn't th and he doesn't th and he doesn't th and he doesn't really want to do anything. No. And John Travolta is like, ayah ayah, ay. Sorry, Nick Cage.
Starting point is 00:20:26 And John Travolta do not have the same size head. He's wearing Larry's skin. And she does, of course he doesn't notice. Until, go ahead. I just want you to think about the fact that Julia fucked Frank wearing thi. Oh, did she? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, is, is, is, is, is, is, th, th, th. th. thi, thi, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, the same, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, is thi, thi, is thi, is thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. that's, that's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, is thi, is did. That's very weird. Does that mean they had the same size penis? Is he, do you think he's full body, Larry's skin?
Starting point is 00:20:51 Because he, that means they're the same height and the same like shoulder broadness and the same like love handle size and their legs are the same length? Like, it doesn't make any steps? Do you think he just pulled on like a Larry head and Larry hands. Yeah. I thought it would mean she was just doin' with a bloody cock then. Do they have sex? Yeah. Ew. That's why I have the note that this is a lot to go through for some dick.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Wait, when do they have sex? Like right after he takes, he comes back to Larry's face, hands and dick? What? You probably put on jeans,'s face, hands, and dick. Well, you probably put on jeans, too, so I don't know. Stick. How's your pleasure now, Frank? This is a mess. This movie's a mess.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Yeah, well, yeah. So... Christie's like hiding in a closet and then sloth from the Goonies comes out and barfs maggots all over her? And then goes away, help me Jesus. Jesus take the wheel. What do you be happy if he puked baby Ruth all over when he came out? Yes, I would.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah, maggots are narly. Kirstie is standing in front of Julia while Frank is wielding his trusty switchplay. Larry Frank, Frankie Larry. And he stab, he goes to stab and Kirstie ducks out of the way and Julia gets stabbed and he's just kind of like, eh, whatever. Yeah, he brought me back but here you go and then like sucks her life force out of her. It's super gross. Yeah, it makes her like charcoaled. So that happens. Chase is Kirstie upstairs. Yeah. Chirsts upstairs. Chirsts upstairs. Chirsts upstairs. Chirsts upstairs. Chirsti upstairs. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs. their. their. their. their. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they upstairs. they upstairs. they upstairs. they upstairs upstairs. they upstairs upstairs upstairs upstairs. they upstairs. they upstairs. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the taps. taps. taps. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. tuc. sloth happens. Yeah, when she's hiding from him, because she finds where they've hidden all the dead bodies. Just in a room, house must have stunk to high hell. Larry must not have been paying any attention to anything at all ever. He's a real weener. He wasn't though. He was like a nice enough guy.
Starting point is 00:22:37 He like really cared for his daughter. He just wanted everything to be good and everyone to be happy. He wanted to have parties and tell dumb stories. He's basically an average guy. He doesn't know how to party like Frank does. That's true. Mean sex. That's description. I don't need to be judgmental because if that's what you're into, that's totally fine. I'm not trying to be like, come to a a a They go into the room where Frank became in corporeal or whatever initially
Starting point is 00:23:10 The room never got cleaned up. It was very disgusting. No, there are rats in it too And at one point like Julia sees rats and she's like, and then later Larry is like probably just rats like this is your home This is your home like? Like sometimes you get mice and you're like, they they? they? they? th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thin th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th thin thin thin thin thin thin thin thin, thin, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thin to thin thin thi thi thin thi thin, you get mice and you're like, oh my god, mice. Yeah. You have a rat and it's in your upstairs. You're doing something terribly wrong. And it's nailed to the wall? Well, that is very upsetting. Those little rat friends. Oh, the scene where Julia and original Larry, not Frank, Larry are laying on the bed like, you know, making out, and then Frank comes out of the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the laying on the bed like, you know, making out and then Frank comes out of the closet and starts like skinning the rat at her. It was real narly.
Starting point is 00:23:49 I don't recall that? Oh really? That's when she's saying please don't, don't and Larry thinks that it's a ham and it's too. Well, whatever. So the centibites show back up and then put a bunch of hooks into Frank Larry. They're real into putting hooks into things like and it just looks like someone putting hooks through like some lunch meat ham. Fuck somebody stabbed that ham. I was
Starting point is 00:24:14 thinking that if this was made today they would definitely be putting that through pig flesh like yeah but you know it is gross this movie is extremely gross. I don't know if we've been up front enough about that very gross. Yeah he he that if harkarkark hark hark hark hark, if that if that if that if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, if th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, the the the the the the the the the the their, th. th. th. th. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. the. the. theeei. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi know if we've been up front enough about that, very gross. Yeah, hearkening back to a scene earlier in the movie where Pinhead is putting Frank's face back together after they ripped him apart the first time. Yeah. His eyes are still in there? That's taken any sense. That's not how eyes work. They're not just attached to your skin. Starting point is 00:24:46 And I really like the way the hooks look when they're flying in. I don't know if they like did that in reverse or how they did that was really neat looking. It is cool. Unlike these long chains that are just like have a mind of their own. If I saw that, I would be totally freaking out. And Frank delivers the best the best the best the best the best the best the best the best the best the best the best the best is the best is the best the best is the best is the best is the best the best is the best the best is the best. the best. th. th. th. th. th. th. theak is thi. theating. theathea. th. th. th. the. the. Because it's just those two words. Why was Jesus weeping?
Starting point is 00:25:20 Have you heard of the band Sunny Day Real Estate? Yes I have. So with Jesus. He was very sad. No, I don't, I mean, I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm sure, I'm s s s s s s s s s s s s s s s. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Oh, okay. No, I don't, I mean, I'm sure something happened in the Bible that made him sad. Yeah. Probably like a plague or something. Yeah, that's sad. Well, that's sad. Well, what? He was a heal.
Starting point is 00:25:34 to do it. I tell you what he's not watching a Netflix fucking Pinterest movie. What is Hellraiser? Pinterest. Pinhead! So, Frank gets pulled apart again and stuck on the blocks of wood. Like, come on, twice in your life is awful. And have we ripped apart in your own brother's skin? Yeah, think about it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:03 And... Think about it. Okay. And I wish there was a word of capture that as desperation right then. I've been shaking my head for 30 solid minutes now. My neck hurts. So now Christy and Steve has shown up and they need to escape the house before pinhead and the gang sound so cute. It's like a funny Saturday morning cartoon. And the house is of... Pinhead in the gang sounds so cute. It's like a funny Saturday morning cartoon.
Starting point is 00:26:26 And the house it seems to be filled with like shaking bake and it's just like shaking all over the place and stuff just falling down the whole time. Because it was shotle made. I mean we saw that this house was, hey it had some black mold issues. There's a lot going on. Yeah, they should have a lot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They should th. They should they should they should they should they should they should they should they should they should have they should have they should have they should have they should have they should have they had had had some. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think you can sell with that. I mean, I mean, if you're aware of it, you should probably legally have to disclose. Though we don't know what country they're in. So who knows what the laws are? Probably state by state by country. Julia and Steve are trying to four-handed fetal scorpion comes running back in at them. They have a scorpion slap fight. He slaps in Kirstie, she slaps in him back. They're both like slap, they're just slapping at each other, trying to get the puzzle box, which is funny.
Starting point is 00:27:11 Scorpion slack fight. Yeah, I'm gonna go right there. Yeah. And like, she's trying to this point, you know? You don't know what you're doing. Really, like that shirt he was wearing with all the different colors? Love Steve's Rainbow Square shirt. Yes. Right there.
Starting point is 00:27:32 It's so good. So she gets it all back together, because she can do her own shit with that. Yeah, Chrissy's a good, uh, thick, the last, the last, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. that. that's. that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that she was a that she was that she was that she was a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a that's a the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. t-s t-s shirt. t-s shirt he's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. female protagonist. She really is. She's the badass. She's got a great like the fuck face. Yeah, like, like a lip curls up and the fuck. Speaking of the fuck, the fuck set all those fires outside. A hobo fires. I think they did. That was the impression that they got or else they went down to fire alley. Yeah, like this seems extremely dangerous. Someone should be checking this out. So they the the puzzle. So the puzzle. So the puzzle. So the puzzle. So the puzzle. So the puzzle. So the puzzle. the puzzle. the fu. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. they. Yeah. Yeah. they. Yeah. they. they. they. Someone should be checking this out. So they take the puzzle box and they throw it into a fire and fire alley, which I've just invented. And then Captain Lou Albano comes out of the shadows. Captain Louel, Helbo?
Starting point is 00:28:11 He looks nothing like him. I'm sorry, I keep saying that. But I really thought it was for a second. Pets the hand into the flames. His complete body is on fire. Yeah. And then his body melts off. He's got a demon sculpting with wings and then he flies away. Because I was just sitting here thinking, I think he flies away. And then I think he flies away and then I think that can't be right. No, he does. He does.
Starting point is 00:28:33 He was like a, like a lichy-like-lichang or something. It's so weird because the first half of the movie, I would say, is like the Julia Frank weirdness, which I'm fine with. And then there's like this, just everything after that, I don't know, it doesn't seem to, it's very oddly paced, I guess. It seems like Christie should have spent more time fighting the centibites, but it's very quick. She's like in and out. Yeah, I don't think there's there's there's there's much there's much there's much there's much there's much there's much the much the much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much you their much much much much much much much you can't their much you their much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much. their. their. their. the. I think you just have to evade them. I think I've only ever seen one other of the Hellraiser movies. Okay. So that's how anybody gets rid of them is just fucking with the puzzle box? So basically like they just look at you why you fuck with the puzzle box and then
Starting point is 00:29:13 they go away. Although the female centibite like is trying to get the puzzle box away from her. She's actively like thi the the the they they they th. She's trying th. to th. th. th. th. It's th. It's th. It's to th. It's trying trying trying to trying to to trying to to to to to to to to to thin thi. It's to to to to to to to th. It's th. And Butterball, as I will forever call him, is trying to stab Steve and he takes his glasses off to show that his eyes are sewn shut. And then he's the worst assassin ever. He's like Alexander Bergman for all you anarchist heads out there. He's the, like, he's just like, ah, I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm the the the the the the the the the they. they. they. they. they. they. th. th. thi. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm blind. I'm th. So, okay, maybe this is where I'm having trouble. Okay. They want you to have the puzzle box because it opens this portal to hell and they can take you with them. Right.
Starting point is 00:29:54 But the same puzzle box is they can just fix it again and close it and you're gone. Right. That is an inherent flaw in the puzzle box. It's, you're going on to one of my big problems with this is Clive Barker. I have issues with Clive Barker. I think Clyde Barker has these fantastic ideas to start. I don't know, the only book I've ever read is Books of Blood by him. Okay. The collection of short stories. And all the short stories start off awesome and then like,
Starting point is 00:30:20 do you think he just runs out of steam? I don't know. Like there's a story called Rawhead Rex, which is also a movie, which has the ridiculous monster in it, but like the story of that is like this monster gets brought back up out of this churchyard and all you have to do is kill it is hit it with this stone that shaped like a potato. All stones are shaped like potatoes. And I remember reading that and just, I'm the the's not even an incantation or anything? And this is just like, I don't know, do the opposite of the puzzle and they'll go away.
Starting point is 00:30:49 So it's, I'm. Their weak, that being their weakness, is makes them very weak. Yeah. The same thing you use to summon them, you use to destroy them can never really destroy them. There's a chance that are always going to come back. Well, just don't do the fucking puzzle box again. Yeah. Although Frank didn't do the puzzle box, they showed up. Because she let them in.
Starting point is 00:31:11 By doing the puzzle box. I guess I don't know. And she made the deal with them. Yeah, Frank's just y on the thing will be done. It's just kind of like, you know, they have their foibles. But I guess it didn't. I mean, the freezing and then, yeah. It didn't, it.
Starting point is 00:31:34 It didn't carry a bucket of ice on it and it also went away I just I hate it I do not understand how this has spawned so many sequels because it's not a good concept oh I think it's a good concept it is not a good concept we just discussed that I think I think the concept I just think the resolution is poor like there could be better ways to handle it and like from like 13 year old me to now I think I I I I I I the the th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like thin th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th I th I th I th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like th like thin the the the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to theeee to to thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the till now I think the centibite look cool to shit I think they look awesome even butterball even butterball I don't know what I identify with most oh come on do we talk about Julia's hair her hair is phenomenal we should hit on that it's a wind tunnel it just keeps taking these shapes and in cresting and she's so cold and she's so cold aned She's so 80s hot. I guess in the 80s to be hot you had to be cold. Yeah, she is described as frigid at one point. Which leads to Steve and Kirstie making out
Starting point is 00:32:32 in the dirty, dirty subway stop. Yeah. She also in her own home wears slacks over pantyhose with heels. So it's like, you clearly aren't relaxing ever. But like that orange eye sh-I I I I I I I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thirty, thirty, thirty, thii, thi, thirty, thi, thirty, thirty, thirty, thirty, thirty, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thia is thia is to to to to to to to thia is to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. thage, th. th. thage, thi is is thi is thage, thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is thi is just just thiauiaugh is thi is to thi is just to thi is just to to to to to to to to that orange eye shadow, just out of control. That's what I thought you looked like David Bowie. I like, and when they, when she came up in that scene, I was like, that's who it is. At one point I also made the note, Julia also kind of looks like the Terminator,
Starting point is 00:32:55 but I don't know what I meant. I don't know my biggest complaint about this film is the music. Oh, that's your biggest complaint. I think the music is terrible because the industrial band Coyle originally did a soundtrack for this movie. Like, Clive Barker like sought them out, got them to do the soundtrack. They did it and he's like, I don't like it. And it's so good. I listen to it all the time. Yeah. And this like, the one they got sounds like it should be on a fucking romance movie. I can't even think of, I can't even remember.
Starting point is 00:33:28 It's just like these orchestral flourishes and stuff that just don't work in the movie. I don't think much works in this movie. I know that people that people really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people people that people that people that people that people that people that people really really really really really really really really really really that people that people that people one of those things like the band Tool or Radiohead that when you tell people you don't like it, they say you just don't get it. And maybe I just don't get it, but I don't know. It may just not be for you. When did you see it first?
Starting point is 00:33:56 Oh, like five, seven years ago. Yeah, so I wonder if me sing at first at 13 made it a little easier for me to stomach. It's dumb. Yeah, but I like a lot of dumb shit. No, this is a different level dumb. There's nothing, there's no humor in this. It is very bleak. It is very grim.
Starting point is 00:34:15 It's super somber. Like there's no relief from how bleak it is. Right. So normally when you like dumb stuff, you like Return of Living Dead where they're cutting, you know, split dog. Yeah, yeah. That's funny, ish. Funny enough. Sure. There's no comedic relief in this movie.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Right. It's just, I don't know. It's not the same kind of dumb at all. Okay. I really do feel bad because I know people like this movie and You people are like tell me why I don't want you to tell me why because you don't like it either Oh, I do I do like this movie. All right. Let's move on to the Um, let's read it. Let's give it a rating face. All right. All right ratings. So I'll go first so you can get my rating and then. Oh, they. So I'll go first so you can you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you you to to to get to to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get my to get my to get my to get my to get my rating to get my rating to get my rating my rating my rating my rating my rating my rating my rating my the the to the the to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I thi thi thi tell tell tell the tell me tell me the tell me the the tell me the the the the tell the thi to to to first since we know what you're going Oh fine then three. Really? Yes. Wow. It's bad. And it's almost made worse by the things that I liked about it are I do like all the gore it's great. Yeah. There are a lot of like I said really interesting shots like there's the when Julia or I'm sorry when Kirstie is in the hospital there's like the IV the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. th. th. th. th. th. th with like a static TV screen, which I like that but it's so out of place in this otherwise shitty movie that it makes me like it even less.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Actually two and a half. Oh wow. I just got worse. Geez. Two and a half. What TV show was that nurse watching? Flowers bloom? Yeah, I have I haven't know what is this blooming flower? I hated it. I hated it. When we were trying to decide what movie to do, Alan was like, how about how about how raiser? And I was like, yes, I hate it. And then I was like, fuck, I have to watch it again. I'm gonna give this movie an eight. Why? What? This will be our last episode of Where Will Family Lens. Oh man, did I do that? Almost made it a year. You have like 30 seconds.
Starting point is 00:36:15 You have like 30 seconds. Okay. I think the atmosphere is great in this movie. I think the special effects are great in this movie. Double trick off hands? Two dicks. I don't know if it hit me at the right time at the right age I think. You say that about everything. Oh, it's true though. This is true though. This is pain for me. This is not pleasure. I'm sorry. I keep interrupting. I'm the thr. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the thi. thi. the the th. th. th. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. It. th. the. the. the. th. the. the. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I. th. th. th. th. I. I. I. I. I. I. I don't know I really actually this time watching it I was like going into it going God this movie is so shittily paced and then like watching I was like oh wait the pacing's way better than I remember it being so maybe I'd set myself up for expecting it to be crap. It is shitily paced. Yeah the pacing's a little off but like it gets going faster than I remembered it getting going going. I really like like. I the the the the the the to. I. I. I. I. I to to to to to to to to to the to to to to the the to the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the pacing. the pacing. the pacing the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing is the pacing I was the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing. the pacing the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th pacing. the. the theasing is thea. thea. thea. thea. thea. theapea. thea. theapea. thea thea thea the of the floor for the first time and he's just like the stick arms pulling his
Starting point is 00:37:05 But and then when he like skitters across the floor it makes me want to puk. Yeah, if not so good for that and the scorpion guy I would have given this a one. Those are those are its redeeming factors. So I do think this movie like holds a place in the canon. I think it's like it's like it's a it's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's like. It's a. It's a. It's a. I. I. I. I. I. I the. I the movie. I the movie. I the movie. I the movie. I the movie. I the movie. I the movie. Sorry to bit my microphone. That said, I don't think Clive Barker should be as well liked as he is, as for a writer. You gave this an eight. You can't have that both ways. I sure can. We've said before that a rating system doesn't make a lick of goddamn sense. So it's, it doesn't mean you can't try. Yeah, no, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, but I, but I, but I, I, I, but I, but I, I, but I, I, I, I, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thus, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, I thi, I thi, I that that that that that that that that that thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I th. thi, I th. thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, I thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. than, tha.a. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th So it's, this means you can't try. Yeah, no, but I, like, as far as like his writing skills,
Starting point is 00:37:47 I don't agree with them, but I do like the way this movie was executed. I'm sorry. Yeah, everyone's sorry. Everyone's sorry in this. Yeah, I really like the character of Kirstie. Yeah, I do too. She just seems really put upon by life. Everybody's fucking over. Her mom's dead and her dad's a weirdo
Starting point is 00:38:09 and her stepmom's frigid and. Her back from the dead uncles are real gross out. Come to daddy. I really, I can't. It's so bad. So agree to disagree. Oh, of course. We haven't hit in the movie in a while that we've really come down that far opposite. No. No, it's been a long time. And I was excited that you said let's do a hell razor. I hate it because I knew that this was going to come back and I was just like, well, I like that movie.
Starting point is 00:38:39 I'm like honestly just sitting here sweating. I might be like like, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thii. thiiiiii. thi. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi here sweating. I'm so angry. Like, it might be the red pole. In a long day. So yeah, that's hellraiser, guys. Let us know what you think. Yeah, I mean, tell me. Tell me, tell me what I'm missing. Because otherwise I just think you're a bunch of dummies. Do you think there's any way someone could like, you think thi th, there, there, th. th. thi thi there's thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, that's that's that's that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's that's that's that's that's thi... thi... thi. So. So. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thoooo-s. that's tho-s. that's tho-s. that's not just just just a that's not that's not that's not that's not that's that's any way someone could like explain this film and redeem it for you? Nope, actually nope.
Starting point is 00:39:05 Yeah, I think it's just a thing you don't like, like Radiohead and Toole. This is the tool of horror films. It really is, in a lot of levels, it really is. Do you like Tool? Yeah. Well, that makes, that explain why Tool is good to you. That's something that I can't even like. Well, that makes, that separates you from a lot of other tool fans.
Starting point is 00:39:30 So what are we doing next week, Katie? Next week's our fucking one year anniversary. Holy shit. One year and we didn't miss a single week. No. What a lot of work we've put into this. I'm a year older, no fucking smarter. And hey guys, no Richer. We're still not on the top bazillion. No, I think we are, actually. If you search for a werewolf for the top result.
Starting point is 00:39:50 Oh, no way. Well, not a lot of podcasts with the wherwolf in it, but. Yeah, there's gonna be a few more. Yeah, that wasn in the Brazilian there. Unless it's just like filtering my results. I don't know. Who cares? We're in the top Brazilian. We're heading there. We're we're? We're doing another movie I absolutely adore. You know what though? I'll give this one another chance because I think that it has I do know that it has some redeeming qualities. We are doing one
Starting point is 00:40:27 of Alan's favorites Halloween 3. Damn it I love this movie. Season of the Witch. The first Halloween movie without Michael Myers. And the last. The last for very good reason. I completely disagree. So that's one of those ones on Amazon you can rent for a couple bucks. Yeah you've probably seen it. If you haven't the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. the the the the the of of of the of the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. the the the the th. th. the th. the th. the th. th. th. the the th. th. the tho. the thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I the. So that's one of those ones on Amazon. You can rent for a couple bucks. Yeah. You've probably seen it. If you haven't, you should, I guess. Pitburg's own Tom Atkins is in that movie. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:53 That's cool. Yeah, he's a cool dude. He's been a lot of great movies. We he was in something else that we've done. Was it creep show. He's the shitty dad. The shit-heed dad. Comic-cating dad. He's a Thrill Me in Night of the Creeps. Yeah, he's great. He's awesome.
Starting point is 00:41:10 Cool. So yeah, we're going to do a Halloween three. I'm stoked because it's almost Halloween. So, Alan's going to like it. mind, which I cannot do after I just watch Hellraiser. So you can tell us what you think on Facebook? Yeah, give Facebook a shot. Facebook, yeah, this is probably the best place to tell us what you think. Facebook.comback, slash, whereolf ambulance, Instagram and Twitter, you know what they are. I'm not telling you again.
Starting point is 00:41:37 After 51 episodes. I know, I'm really always say it. I don't know why I'm sick of it. You can check out our angel fire. We'll probably put up a new picture coming up on Halloween. Oh yeah. Maybe I'll change it all the time in October. Probably not. You just got looked, your face lit up like that was such a good idea. Okay, I'll do it. Yay, because I want to see what more ridiculous pictures you find. I feel like thrown myself though. that's th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Starting point is 00:42:08 I will, I'll look into it. Yeah, thanks again to everyone who has hyped us up to their friends and they're, you know, told the people to off. Take that, Steve Jobs. Yeah, so thank you and we will be back next week for our 50-second episode. That's nut bar. Yeah. Nutbar. All right, cool. Thanks to seeing to another episode of WhereOFambulance. Bye. Bye.
