Yeah the North Face family they're wearing like North Face fleece but with no North face logo on them which I guess it's kind of Canadian. They had a lot of great disparaging talk on norms and stuff. Yeah it was pretty awesome. So they live with their parents, their mom is like real kooky. I loved their mom. Their dad is just like kind of a pushover. And we learn that neither of them're 15 and 16 respectively. Which is pretty late. Yeah. Pretty late. Three years late from what the nurse says. Maybe it's mom who says they're both three years late. Maybe, yeah. And they kind of talk about how they haven't had their periods and like people who have are weird and gross and they don't like them and they don't like anybody that's not them. There's been a rash of dog killings. Yeah. Something is going around and killing all the neighborhood dogs. And you see these gruesome like dogs just like disembowed and torn heart. Yeah. They're on point. Yeah. Also, he keeps saying that he has a truck, but it's a van. Do they call them trucks in Canada? Is it a lorry? I don't know. It's clearly a van. For the lift to the lorry to the loom. So they're out in the woods. Ginger's period, like attacks her?

They're going to steal Trina's dog and pretend that it's been murder and send them, to send pictures of it all bloody. But they're not really going to hurt the dog, they're just going to do this to fuck with her. Ginger Hezor period and they get attacked by something in the woods that's pretty scary because it just keeps dragging her off into the woods and you don't see what it is. Yeah. It's very American were wolf in London. This movie is full of scenes like that, like sort of mayhem scenes where like something is supposed to be happening but you don't know what it is. And I don't know if that was like a low budget thing where they were like, Yeah they made a point

not to do anything with CGI they want to do all practical effects so I think that limited how much they could show you. Yeah because when they do show you the monster it's a little weak sauce but it's it's forgiving. Yeah it's got some interesting. Yeah after Ginger gets attacked she seems to be like mostly okay. Why? I don't know why she's okay. It seems like she should be in worse shape than she is. Well, she's instantly healing. Yeah.

Seems like maybe they should go to the hospital. She doesn't want to. She should go to the hospital. Yeah, but she has a swaer. Look at that the hospital. Do you like when Ginger was being attacked and Bridget was smacking it with her handbag? Like an old lady, it was pretty great. I thought that was pretty, pretty fun. No, the reason they hated Trina so much is because she knocks down Bridget and

Bridget falls face first into a dead, disembowled dog. Oh, right. How come no one noticed that says, where the fuck did that dead dog come from? And I didn't know what it meant. Like you're playing on this field. It was on the, yeah, well, it's pumpkin time. You were playing on this field. You could see that. It was, it happened in regulation of play, it seemed.

Like after she tells her mom, or after Bridget tells their mom's like, now you have to worry about pregnancy and protect yourself from STDs. Like, lady, you've had to protect yourself from STDs all along. You know, just like suddenly become fertile ground for STDs. It's not a weird, like, I don't know. When her mom finds out that ginger's had her period,

she gives her a bloody bun cake. Is that a cake? I did not get that cake. A tiny little tel, a tiwail. The tale is so good. It gets bigger and bigger as the movie goes on. is like filling out with like white hair. Yeah. It's very gross. Her wound has grown hair. That's a little too, a little too on the nose there I think. Like, yeah, I understand what puberty is, guys. You could reel it back just a little bit. There are a number of scenes that I think are probably metaphors for puberty. Yeah, they really drove that home.

Meanwhile, Ginger is still transforming more and more shaving her legs in the shower, she discovered she's grown a dewclaw.

And this is all leading up to the big Halloween dance at the greenhouse, which is seemingly sanctioned by the school? It seems school related, but it's at the drug dealers greenhouse, so I really don't know. Maybe Canada's just more lex. I guess. I remember being Vancouver and there were pretty much marijuana bars, even though it was illegal because they were such a heroin problem there that they were like, well, this isn't I mean, if you're out to do this. That doesn't sound lax. That sounds sad. Yeah.

So this is kind of the climax of the movie is at this party where they like throw Ginger into the back of the van, right? Yeah, this is Ginger's second big entrance. She had an entrance in the highgy clothes and shows up in like sexy clothes. She has the Nev Campbell craft scene. Yeah, exactly. And this is that scene again, but it's at a Halloween dance so she can be sort of transformed. And she sort of looks like Kiever Settlin's character, David from the Lost Boys. Yeah, for sure.

She's changing. That's why she falls down the steps that's right because she's becoming like disoriented from the change. I see which Which I assume means her moon time is coming. Right. She puts blood in her mouth and then throws up. Right.

So she wants to ingratiate herself to Ginger Wearwolf. So she tries eating the blood and she can't do it. She's disgusted. And that causes Ginger to bite out Sam's totally, to thee them, to the the the the they they they they th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, tho, tho, tho, too, too, too, and too, and too, and too, and tho, and thi, thi, and tho, and tho, and tho, and th, and th, and th, and th, th, th, the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the best he could. He could have been a hutch to somebody. And he had all that dank nug. Mad tweeats. Yeah. So now they're having like the final battle.

I like a lot of things about this movie. I liked all the gory dog deaths. Particularly because you don't see them happen. You just see their mutilated corpses afterwards, which is a weird thing to say.
