Right out of the gate. Well, the next one I have is please open the door. It's Joey Gladstone. So that's funny. Who's Joey Gladstone? He's Dave Cullier a character from like a late 80s, early 90s sitcom to me. And one of the people in this movie looks like Brian from Wings, that's all. We're off to a good start.

This movie starts with insanely long credits. Yeah, forever long. It's so long. I'm still watching the credits of this film. I fast forwarded and then the tape ran out. This movie also stars Lance Hendrickson. Yes it does. Looking very sinewy. Yeah, as leathery as he always does.

Ah, what a weird guy. I love him. I love Lance Henderson. He seems like such a nice dude. Does he? I don't really know much about him. In this movie, you know, he's looking out for his kid. He's character. Well, he isn't looking out for his kid, which is an issue that I take with him. But we can get into that.

This also makes me really glad that I don't live in a rural agrarian lifestyle. It just seems hard. It does. It does. But it makes you tough. It makes you hard people. I'd rather. I mean, living in the city makes you kind of hard to. Not really. No. I'm soft as they can. No, I'm just a baby. I'm a baby made out of tabies.

That's out of my league.

MC Hammers, that's out of your league? Out of my pay grade. I figured you be a hammer fan. Anyway. I don't know what that says about me. Okay, so we opened up the family, Joey Glodstone's banging on the door asking you let in, the family's like, me and having it. It's really just the dad. He's being very severe about this and the child, Lance Hendrickson is wondering why.

Yeah, so the mom and the and baby Lance Hendrickson just, the baby Lance Hendrickson, just dad, and just dad ain't having it. No. And then Baby Lance enters and looks out the window and sees pumpkin head. Pumpkin head which is a difficult creature to describe. A little bit of the alien from alien. For sure. A little bit of a pumpkin head. Yes. I mean he's got a very tall. Very tall very like bones poking out in all the wrong ways. Yeah. What is the little kind of legs that a dog has that are um... oh dog legs. Oh they're. And then it just, it starts to go downhill because, you know, later happened. Yeah, pumpkin head looks crazy. He is insane and scary. Yeah. And strong as hell. Yeah. Yeah. See me not to have, he's got mostly bones, not too many muscles. Yeah, but somehow, let's kind of Lance Hendrickson looks too. Lance Hendrickson is, you know, bringing in the sheaves, is a, uh, working on his farm, doing farm stuff while his coke-bottled class glasses son is inside being adorable. Yeah, I have the note that says this kid is pretty cute, too bad he's got to die. Oh, we're going to do spoilers. So watch this movie. And you've got this adorable dog and just this happy little farmer lifestyle. Chipsy. Chipsy.

It's racist. They should rename Roma. Yeah, adorable dog. A little adorable dog, Coke bottle glasses, kid, who looks like the kid from Jerry McGuire. Yeah, and the score that they're playing is like, this is a happy time, this is a happy time. Everything is wonderful. One thing I really like about this movie is that it's 86 minutes long.

The worst. Yeah. I have in quotes teens because the baddest of them is clearly like pushing 40. They are going to ride dirt bikes somewhere at a cabin I guess because that's what people do. There's only enough dirt bikes for the dudes. Yeah, and the guy in the back of the truck

looks like Brian from Wings, at first cut. But then as you see him more, it's a guy who lives to the end. Oh, he played, he is young Superman in the first Superman movie. That is. Fuck do I know that guy from? And why do I know him from that? Oh, from wait. I didn't, I never watched wings. I can't leave after all the wings talk we've had on here. I'm not going back now. I have the DVD box that I'll own it. You do not.

They're not all shitty, but they're largely shitty. Right. They're behaving in an entitled manner that is intolerable to country folk. The D-bag who's driving the Corvette? It's a nice car. Yeah. It's a sport car. It's a sports car, yeah. He's the D-bagiest of all of them.

And his girlfriend is so old. And when they show up, the locals show up. And it's like, bam-bar, ma'am, ma'am. This film is not kind to rural folk. No, no, not at all. Did you notice who one of the local children is? Blossom. I didn't know to, I did not recognize it, but I saw it in the credits and I was like, my I'm bolic or I don't know how you say her name, but I know it to see it.

Blossom. Yeah, and she has a, she has a line. Which I didn't I didn't even notice which one she would. They do a close-up on her and she said something to the little boy. Oh yeah, stealing the ball. And this was her first movie? Yeah, this is her first, her first appearance. We had first appearance but. Yeah from Blossom. I was hoping six would also be there. Oh six. I could not pick six out of a lineup of two. Whoa. That that Joey Lawrence. Joe lorns. Why not take your kid with you, like how much business trigger you're gonna lose? Like there's these strangers hanging around. You don't just leave your kid. That really made me mad about it. I agree. I mean he's got gypsy with him, but... That dog... It's actually... What happens is ultimately the dog's fault.

This is why I'm a cat person. They would never do this. In this terrible scene, the dog runs into the field where city dudes are dirt biking? And they're jumping these hills and it's so rad. They're an extreme. Yeah, and the kid is chasing the dog and then the girls are chasing the kid. Yeah, but nobody knows it's falling. She's just continuously falling. She's not good with her feet. He gets run over. It gets hit by the

motorcycle. When he dies. Well he doesn't die right away either, which is like, is there no doctor in this town? They just like cart this poor dying child around for a while instead of taking him do medical. Well the kid lays a gene jacket on him and the kid who hits him with the bike drives away because he's got warrants or something. He's got he's done this before. He's killed a lot of kids. So he bolts with his 45 year old girlfriend. She looks great for 45. Oh yeah, yeah beautiful. And the other kids go off to the cabin. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their. their. their. their. their their their their their tie. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. te. the te. the. And then the other kids go off to the cabin because Stumblyfoot has freaked out and she's losing her marbles. Yeah. They keep trying to make her look at him too, which I thought was strange.

They keep like trying to turn her head to see. Like she doesn't need to look at that dead kid. Coke bottle glasses like half ass back on his face. I did feel like the people who stayed behind were like genuinely trying to help him and were genuinely upset by the situation which like it's just basic human. So Lance Hendrickson? Great glare. So Lance Hendrickson? Glair's like Lance Hendrickson. Great glare. It was a great- Lance Hendrickson? Great glare. No one glares like Lance Hendrickson. And then he takes the kid back to their house.

I guess there's not a doctor in this town. I find that hard to believe, because doctors are everywhere because everyone needs a doctor. You know what I mean? Yeah, I was like, well, he's definitely going to die, so let's take him home to die. Like it was like immediate hospice care that he went into. That's really sad. I feel like if you're a parent though, you never go to that. You're like, what will save my child? Yeah.

And he just takes him home and he dies in his arms. He goes, daddy, and then one home. He breathed his last daddy breath. God I hope I never breathe daddy breath. So Lance Hedrickson is just destroyed, ruined. As you would be. His wife, as we find out later, has also died. Everyone's dead except that damn dog. She also died in a motorcycle yeah it was super sad. It was actually like I think a jet ski. So he... The motorcycles of the sea. Yeah. So he gets one of the pig pen kids, the tee. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So he gets one of the pigpen kids, the pigpen teen. He goes to the pigpen house where they're all pigpitting. They're all being like just treated poorly. So rude.

The father of the clan is a buckflower, who I know from they live and the fog and a bunch of John Carpenter things. Yeah, I did recognize him, but I thought it was just a... I think he's also in the Back to the Future movies. Really? Yeah. So I was like, oh, because most of the cast I'm like, I don't know who these people are, except for Baby Superman and that guy and Blusem. Yeah. He's Wallace, I think his name is. Oh, okay, yeah. Mr. Wallace, Wallace is right, yeah. He's not having any of it.

He doesn't want to tell him, because Lantanerton is going to look for the woman who lives in the woods who can help him bring pumpkin head. Always a witch. Yeah. Yeah, no, there's the to'n' what's the kid's name, Bunt? The kid's name is not Bunt. It's The child? No, no, not the child, the, the, the, the pig pan boy. God, we're monsters.

Well, this is how they're fucking portrayed. Stan Winston is a monster. Bunt, BUNT. At least that's what it came up in, in the subtitles. I watch everything with subtitles. Noimes. No, that's fine. 87 years old. Bunt. Yeah, Bunt. So Bunt takes Lance Hendrickson to the old woman in the woods. Sure gets foggy up there. Where she lives. In the swamp?

Yeah. The sudden swamp? Her house looks awesome. I feel like you're going to hate me for this. The next note that I have is what if the witch was just watching Mama's family? Like what if you walked in? And she was just like watching Mama's family. Wouldn't that be so funny? Okay. It really says that. It really says that. I didn't just make that up because we were talking about sitcoms. It really says that. It would be appropriate. Yeah. A Mama's family reference would fit perfectly in this thi th. th. th. th. th. the th. I think the idea is that she has been damned somehow and she's immortal and doesn't want to be.

Okay. The last scene of this movie is very good and also what leaves it open for sequels and I think there were several. Which is that the witch is burying Ed Hardy's body in that grave where he had gotten the pumpkin head from yeah so it's basically a cycle of pumpkin head because we are one and pumpkin head is us a little bit a little bit his son had made him this weird necklace early in the movie. Oh yeah. And then he is that his like weird deformed body is wearing it at the end when he bear it when she buries him. I love that he's pumpkin head with like a little bit of hair. Yeah I guess that falls off in the grave I don't know. I do

like that idea of like that becoming the new seed for the next pumpkin head. Did you ever see any of the sequels? Oh, hell no. Oh, me either. Oh, God, me either. Pumpkinhead, too, blood wings?
