All right. Hello everybody and welcome to Windry Alty hits with Jackson Brittany. Good morning.
We have the favorite guests that will ever have on the podcast today. My wonderful mama's
cherry. Say hi mama. Hi, good morning. Okay, so mom is in town right now getting to stay with Jackson off for the entire month of August.
So we have been so lucky to have her here to help us with crews because we've been so busy lately.
And it's just been such a blessing for crews to actually be able to be around his grandmother because, you know,
mom lives all the way in Kentucky.
So it just is awesome to be able to have family around
because we've missed you so much.
Oh, and I missed you all too,
and I love getting to see crews.
Yeah.
So mom has never done a podcast before,
so this is gonna be fun.
I don't even know, have you ever listened to a podcast?
I've listened to yours two or three times.
And that's all.
Yes, that's it.
All right, so we got a newbie here, but we're
going to make sure you that you have a lot of fun.
Jack, I want to start off with you.
I want to know, because I want everybody
to know that you love my mom so much.
And you guys have such a good relationship.
So I want you to start off by telling everybody
why you love my mom so much.
Well, we just love having you around.
I mean, this goes both of us. We just love having you around. I mean, this goes both of us.
We just love having you around.
It's always such a blessing.
Unfortunately, we don't get to see my side of the family
very much, so I consider your mother kind of like my mother too.
So it's just been a blessing.
I know a lot of my friends, they always
like your mother-in-law staying over for a week
or you go to your mother-in-law's house for a month.
I mean, it's very, very rare.
Most guys, I know they'll like to stay at their in-laws and let alone their parents' house for more
than three days. So, I have a really good situation here. I think we get along very, very well.
You know, we just get along. We have a good time and, you know, I think, you know, I don't
even know what to say. I just, I just, we love having you around, really. I don't really have
anything else to say about that. Oh, it's like, we love having you around, really. I don't really have anything else to say about that.
Oh, thank I love being here too.
And I've always got along with with Jack.
He's been nice to me now going on eight years.
Eight years now. Yeah. Yeah.
It's, yeah, it's been eight years while it's flown by.
I remember the first time I came down to Kentucky.
I remember we driving to your house on that dirt long dirt.
I felt like a horror movie.
They were looking back at me because they lived in Kentucky and they lived
on a very long road by the end of a river.
And it was like an hour to get to this house.
And I was, it was like my first time going there
and they kept looking back at me
because it was a very scary drive.
Wani Road, train everywhere, trix on both sides.
And I was like going to Kentucky for my first time.
One line.
Meeting the whole family.
Obviously it was nerve wrecking.
And I wasn't sure what to expect.
But I tell you what, not only her mother,
but the rest of her family was just so kind.
And I just had such a great time when I go to Kentucky.
I love going there.
I was like I said, it's kind of just like how I grew up.
So yeah, I just love it.
And obviously we love having share here
as much as possible, obviously to see Cruz
because she doesn't get to see Cruz that much.
And it's kind of a hike to gate here.
We're three times zones away, five hour flight.
It's not easy to get here.
So we just really appreciate it
when she comes here to visit.
Yeah, I love whenever you have here.
This goes into a question from one of our fans
that have wrote in.
It says,
from Farah M. Reed, how has Jack's changed
since you first met him, Mom?
Oh geez, better hold the microphone for that one.
Oh my goodness.
Oh my goodness.
Well, always like Jack's from the first time I met him,
but he definitely has changed, he's got more mature,
I think him being becoming a father has really changed him.
I know he loved his dad so much and he has such a good relationship with crews.
So I definitely think him just being a father has definitely changed him.
And being buried to the best wife in the entire world.
Yeah, I mean, let's give me some credit here.
I mean, I think I did some work on this man.
Yeah, you definitely, let's give me some credit here. I mean, I think I did some work on this man. Yeah, you definitely, definitely,
tamed a wild beast.
I mean, obviously everybody knows I was pretty much
a runaway locomotive for a very, very long time.
And it takes the right person to really make you
want to settle down.
We all know that getting married and having kids
and having a home and owning animals
was definitely not something that I wanted.
And then I met the right woman and that all changed.
So it was definitely a blessing meeting you.
I feel like in many ways not only decruse,
and you kind of saved my life
because I was going through a lot of ups and downs,
hills and valleys in my life.
Even before I met you on Vanderpump.
And yeah, it was definitely a blessing.
I think my father, I like to say my father
has a lot to do with that.
He's looking down on me. But yeah, I think I made a lot of changes. You know, like
I said, I was very hard beast to tame for a very long time. So.
And I can remember you coming to Kentucky when I was sick and helping me out. And I really
appreciate that. You went out there. You took care of all the horses, all the animals that really meant a lot to me
and Brittany came and you all stayed with me
for what a month or two?
I was with you for at least two months.
And then Jack's came.
I was there for like a month.
And then Jack's drove down with both of the dogs,
came with the other,
drove down with a car, came with both of the dogs.
So then you had me, Jack's both of the dogs. So then you had me, Jacks, both of the dogs,
all on the house while we were helping you recover.
But I think Jacks just missed this too much
and could be away from us that long.
That, yeah, of course.
I, of course, I missed you guys.
And I, like I said, I really, really love being on the farm.
Though, the work was a little weird.
That's kind of, now touching back on,
I don't know if some of you guys remember,
we did a show called Jackson Brittany taken
Tucky now. This is why how we got into this I was going on yeah doing a lot of work on the farm
I don't know quote unquote work. We're gonna use work loosely because I really
You shovel some poop
I shovel some poop but I'm not really into like handling animals very well or kind of getting near them such as and such as horses such as chickens and stuff
I'm not going anywhere near anywhere near that so I don't know how he freaked out the first time I took him in the chicken
coat. So a lot of you guys people don't know this. This is how the show got started with Jackson
Brittany taking Tucky. Brittany took some videos of me trying to handle or wrangle chickens and ducks
and all kinds of stuff. And I don't know if some of you people have ever seen the movie Sun and Law
with Paulie Shore. It was exactly like that. It was exactly me a city boy boy kind of getting involved in farm life and it was really, really funny. So,
Brittany took some videos of that. We actually sent it to the producers of our
show that we were on Vanderpump and they were like, this is hysterical. We need
to do a show on this. So that's kind of like how it started for Jackson Brittany
taking talk because just me working on the farm was hysterical. You know,
I like to think that I'm a big strong guy, but then you put me out on a farm,
and it's just like, I'm like,
I mean, you wouldn't even grab a frog in a bucket.
No, I wasn't touching frogs.
I mean, your dad had me out in cow ponds.
Yes.
I was cutting down trees.
I mean, they were just like, I was trying to,
what else would, what else would we do?
I was shoveling poop.
I didn't mind the shoveling poop part.
I think that's the only thing I did that was okay.
As far as wrangling animals, chicken,
and whatever. You do do a good job at cleaning the stalls. I did that was okay. As far as wrangling animals, chicken, and whatever.
You do do a good job at cleaning the stalls.
I always appreciate that.
That's about as much as I can do.
I can shovel shit very good.
Yes, you can.
And I think you're a little scared of the horses.
You were always stepping out of their way,
but you did a good job cleaning the barn.
Yeah, I'm very intimidated by horses.
I don't like being around large animals.
I feel like they can sense the fear.
There are many horses, jacks, many horses.
Well, yeah, they are.
Two feet tall.
Yeah.
And some of them got loose on me a couple times.
And those things are for sure.
Oh my gosh.
One time the big horse Delilah, she's, what, what do you,
a Tennessee Walker?
So she's not a many horse.
Mom's got what, five many horses,
or four many horses and one Tennessee Walker. And they all belong to the grandchildren, which is some of the people don't know. Yeah. Each child has their own many horses. Mom's got what? Five many horses or four many horses and one Tennessee Walker.
And they all belong to the grandchildren, which is something a lot of people don't know.
Yeah. A lot of them.
Which child has their own many horse.
Yeah. Cruz has the newest little mini horse named Halo. She's so cute.
So anyway, to get back, you know, that's kind of how the show Jackson Brittany taking Tucky got started.
We took videos of me attempting to do farm work. They thought it was funny.
And then a show was born. Yeah. And go and take it back at that show I've ever been watching before and it just is so cringy to watch back all the
fighting that we did. I hate watching back when we fought all the time. That is the worst.
But the silver lining of that is we got a niece out of it. You know, I,
oh yeah, a lot of money. A lot of people don't know that I donated money for this.
Yeah. I don't need a lot of money for this.
And if you haven't seen the show, my brother and my sister-in-law, Wes, is my
brother and militias my sister-in-law, they had a hard time getting
pregnant. So they had to go the IVF route. It was very expensive. So they
threw like a charity event to kind of help out. And Jack smashed the charity
event. And now we have my beautiful niece, Presley. Yes, and that's one thing I'll be so ever grateful to Jack's for for his
generous. He just got up there in the mic and said he came running up there and
said, I will double whatever whatever we get. So and I did not expect that.
So I just fell even more in love with you even though you were driving
the crazy on that trip. That was that was a really tough trip between your
friends, your family, and I think we were going
to have a really hard time in our relationship at that point too.
Yeah.
Really, really hard time.
And I was out there by myself and I felt like it was all against one, but you know, it
all worked out.
It made us all stronger.
So that's why I was kind of funny, that was because you needed tough love, like my dad,
you know, he was definitely giving you some tough love.
And you're so close to my dad now.
I feel like you guys take even more than I do.
Well, the thing was, as I grew up like that,
but the thing is, as I lived in California for so long
that I kind of lost all my values
and the way I was brought up, I came out here
and I got jaded, I got blinded by the light,
like the song says.
And you lose the values of how my parents raised me.
Now, my parents raised me very, very well.
But again, I lost it along the way.
And then I think kind of going back and hanging out with
your family, I was kind of like, okay,
this is the way I was raised and I just wasn't used to it. But I got back and do it, okay, I lost it along the way and then I think kind of going back and hanging out with your family, I was kind of like, okay, this is the way I was raised and I just wasn't
used to it, but I got back and do it, okay, I think.

I want to go into a question because people have been asking about stories from my childhood
since we have mama on this one.
So I want, okay, let's see, which question do I want to do?
She's got a lot of stories, by the way.
She's literally, my favorite one is she took her car and drove it through the house.
Yeah, I think I've talked about this story on the podcast once, but yeah, my mom had a brand new what 350z
It was a 350z and it was a convertible taught me and my friend brand new brand new mom was at work in life
Centined like 45 minutes away. I was at home decided to take it out for a joy ride
You had you didn't have your license didn't have I was like two weeks away from getting my license.
And took my friend around with me.
We couldn't figure out how to get the convertible top down.
Thank God, because we got it got really hurt.
Pull into the driveway.
That car's known to go 0 and 60 in like no time.
And instead of hitting the gas,
or instead of hitting the brake, I hit the gas
and went right through the house.
So she calls me at work saying,
Mom, the car is in the house. So she calls me at work saying, Mom, the car
is in the house. I'm like, what? She said the car is in the house. I cannot believe it.
All these people were driving by looking at the car. And then she, the funniest thing
is, well, what really went funny? But when she went through the house, she had a little
poster that the car ran right into and it said,, blonde, thank you. Oh, yeah. I'll never forget that.
Oh, my gosh.
That is so, oh, yeah.
That story was crazy.
We have so many different stories.
Mom, they want to know what is one thing about my childhood that people don't know about
me?
Oh, this is a good story.
You were in the first grade when I got a call from your teacher and the teacher said,
can you please speak to Brittany? The kids are bringing her her trays at school and they all
think she's a real-life princess. Why do they think I was a princess? You tell them that's why.
You tell me that you're a princess. You make me bring you your stuff. I apparently told
like the kids in my class that I was a princess and they were
helping me like carrying my trays and stuff. I could not believe I did that.
I think I said I had a cheetah. Like what was I thinking? I know. We lived in
that. We lived in a huge three-story real brick house and she just thought it
was a castle. Yeah. And you definitely you you were the princess of that house.
Well, I thank you and my stepdad Roger would always call me princess Nicole,
because Nicole's my middle name.
Yeah.
So I just took it right in with it.
And I love doing beauty pageants and stuff.
So I just think I thought I was just a real princess.
You did.
You started getting in your pageants when you were just like six months old.
So you thought you were a princess.
That's so funny.
I love doing that stuff.
And I think I learned a lot from pageants.
It really helps you with like confidence.
And it helps you with confidence,
and it helps you be able to talk and interviews,
and things like that.
I really do believe I learned a lot from that part of my life.
But the whole princess thing, that just cracks me up
whenever I heard about that story.
I don't mean to jump around a little bit.
I want to know personally.
So when Brittany met me in Vegas, when she called you and said,
I met this guy.
And then you said, what would you say?
What's his name?
And then you said,
Jack's Taylor, he's on this reality show
because let's make it very clear.
Brittany did not know who I was.
A lot of people out there say that she knew who I was.
She did not know who I was.
My friend Cara told me who he was,
who I was with in Vegas after he came out to me
because she was like,
wanted to take a picture with Katie.
So that we've talked about how we've met many many times.
But I literally did not know who Jack's was. I was not really a person that
watched very many reality shows at the time. Like really it was like Laguna
Beach, the hills like stuff like that. I might have watched in the past.
Maybe a little Jersey Shore. But yeah, I called mom. Yeah.
And I remember you sent me a picture with Cara and Jacks.
And I said, oh my gosh, that is Jack's Taylor.
The Ben Approprials are new exactly who was,
because I do watch reality TV.
So I'm exactly who he was.
She does.
So how terrified were you really mom,
whenever you found out that it was Jacks that I had met?
Did you think that he was just gonna,
did you think that we would ever be married with a kid eight years later? Probably not. And why not? Well, I remember I did tell you
when you all started talking got a little bit more involved. I said, well, if you want
things to work, I said, you'll have to go out there. This cannot be a long distance relationship.
Yeah, she really did say that because I guess she knew that you were going to be a hard
one to tie him from the get go.
She probably knew more about you than I did because she watched the show.
Yeah, I don't do long distance relationships.
I live in the valley and a long distance to me is if someone lived in Santa Monica.
If you know California, that's only about a 30 minute drive and I ain't driving 30
minutes. Oh my goodness.
My own Kentucky.
So, Britney literally after about what, three or four weeks, maybe I would say four weeks,
maybe it's a little later, maybe a little sooner, but she literally packed her bags and
drove out here.
It was like three months in.
Three months.
Yeah, because I had to work.
I was going back and forth from her route, work for a week, and see you for a week,
work.
It was like two months.
Yeah, because it was costing her, like she was, this is the beginning of the show and
this is costing her like $800, $900.
And I didn't get paid my first season of VaynerPropole.
No, I imagine she was...
She was like the very, very in.
I was broke.
She was worth, she was worth,
she was in Kentucky.
She's waiting, you know, she's bartending at 10 Ruth
and bartending at Hooters.
So, $800 is a lot of money when you're, you know,
you're waiting tables, you're bartending.
Yeah, and you bought like one flight for me
and then I wouldn't let you buy the rest
because I felt so like weird.
I don't know.
I just like wouldn't do it even though I didn't have
any money at all.
And it took a lot out of me.
But it was all worth it because now we got baby crews.
The thing is.
And then she moved here.
And I was at the time I was living in this apartment
in Criotown.
It was a size of our, it was this really tiny box.
I think she was questioning it.
She would not even.
Yeah, but stuff wouldn't even fit in the closet,
couldn't turn on the hair dryer
and the air conditioning at the same time.
I guess I was living in a town called Koreatown,
which is I had a studio apartment at the time,
and it was great just for me,
but now that I had somebody living with me,
it was literally a box.
It was literally probably the size of my master bedroom now.
Yeah.
And yeah, it was like, I was like, oh my gosh,
she's probably questioning this.
I had to go out and get an air conditioner. It yeah, it was like, I was like, oh my gosh, she's probably questioning this. I had to go out and get an air conditioner.
It was a whole thing.
Like every time she would blow dry her hair,
the air conditioning would shut off.
I lived in a really not really good area at the time.
It was fine for me by myself,
but having a girl lived there was kind of scary.
So then we had to like up and down.
There was no parking.
I got like a thousand dollars in parking tickets,
which I also had no money for.
It was a mess.
I know we're taking out loans to pay the parking fee.
Yeah, and without you knowing,
so that, because I didn't want to ask you for money and stuff.
Yeah.
And people were thinking I was a, you know,
gold digger and stuff.
I'm like, um, we live in the studio apartment.
I have no money in taking out loans.
I'm working all the time.
Uh, it's just so funny what people think versus the, the real life.
Well, that's why we have a podcast.
That's right.
That's right.
That's right.
OK, I want to answer a question from a fan.
This is from Ariel Chanel.
And this is a question to mom.
What was the weirdest part about being filmed?
The weirdest part probably is when I see it back,
I'm like, what did I wear that?
What did I do that?
It don't really bother me with the cameras on that
much, but later seeing it, I wish you just wish you to say something different, maybe
it come across a different way. Yeah, that's so, that's a good point.
If I had a dollar for every time, I could take something back that I said, my God, we could
retire on a beautiful island somewhere, but yeah, I know it, that's like, when you look
back and you're like, why did I say that or why I do that? And sometimes when the camera's
around, you kind of just blur things out and sometimes you forget that they're there.
Obviously being on TV for as long as I have,
I don't even see the cameras anymore.
They come in and you know they're there,
but then you just go on without your,
go on about your life.
So it does get a little like nerve wrecking.
Sometimes you're like, damn, what did I say that?
Or what did I do that?
And things happen so fast too.
And it's like if cameras were following you around 24-7,
like think about what they would see in your own life.
Like people are so quick to judge,
but really like when cameras are falling you're around all the time, like, think about what they would see in your own life. Like, people are so quick to judge, but really, like, when cameras are falling around all the time,
like, anybody would have ups and downs.
Anybody in the entire world would.
So.
It doesn't matter how perfect you try to pursue yourself
or how you think you're always gonna happen.
Things are always going to happen.
You're always, something's always going to come out.
Something's always going to be like,
oh, I wish I didn't want to admit it,
I wish you wouldn't do that.
That's what people don't understand.
Like, why would you do that on camera?
You don't, you just don't think about it sometimes.
Especially when they're there all the time. We've been there a good decade of my life
that I just forget that they're there. And that's kind of the realness of it all. You want to look
perfect on TV all the time. You want to be the real you. And people relate to the real you more than
anything else. This show is sponsored by BetterHelp. At some point in time life will bring you two
crossroads. Whether it's your career, your relationships, or putting putting in time to work on yourself so if you need help mapping out your

Mama, this is another question from design underscore story,
underscore Janet underscore Smith.
underscore mc sorry, all didn't fit. What's your mama's favorite place to go when she comes to visit?
So whenever you come to visit LA,
what are some of your favorite places to visit?
Yes.
I love to go to Rodale Drive just to see all the beautiful
stories down in Beverly Hills. It's just so breathtaking.
It's something that you definitely know singing Kentucky. That's right. So even if we're just walking
around having lunch, you know, it's a great time. It's just it's just so beautiful
there. And then of course the beach. I'll live right next to the Kentucky River.
Not really a beach. Yeah, but I love going down to the beach. I'll have going down
to Venice and it's a a good time down there.
Yeah.
Thanks for Brittany's backyard pool.
It should have her favorite place to be is when the backyard of the pool.
Every time she's here, that's her spot.
We can always find, if you can't find Sherry, she's usually by the pool.
Yes, I do love the pool.
Between that, getting spot, going to the spa, getting massages with Brittany.
It's kind of like, you know, it's a vacation when you come out here.
You get to enjoy yourself, you get to see your grandson. Yeah, I took mom to vote a spa this past weekend.
We had the best day.
I was like, oh, we deserve it.
What did you guys do?
We got massages, we got like the 80 minute massages.
We went to all the different spa areas, like all the steam rooms.
And we got a sugar scrub and face mask.
And we got to eat like at the, they have a bar and restaurant in there. We just had a good time. The boat this protein shakes have
ever had in my life. The smoothies are awesome. Yeah we had such a good time
there but we you know we just knew that we needed to treat ourselves. Yeah you
definitely deserve it. Like I said we really appreciate being out here
Brittany and I finally get some time. Well we haven't really had some time but
we finally gonna get some time to go on a date and you know just have some one-on-one time
because we definitely need it. We don't really have any help out here. I've said this many times
before so when we we definitely take advantage when we have family coming in. Yep. You are our good
like charm the first time that we got through. Oh wait, that sounds weird. We were in Kentucky
whenever cruise was conceived because we were there visiting mom whenever she was sick
We had Airbnb. It wasn't the same house. Don't freak out people. That's what I was gonna say. Was it my house?
No, we had Airbnb nowhere near you, but
Yeah, baby number two hopefully Kevin saying knock on wood
Yeah, that's literally been the topic of discussion the last week and Britney's been reminding me every single day. When's Baby number two happening?
When's Baby number two happening?
I know everyone's been asking when are you guys going to extend your family?
And when's we're actually now starting to think about it?
Britney's going to say, let's happen.
Let's go next month.
Yeah.
That's going a couple of weeks.
And now we're kind of trying to figure that out.
But it's definitely a process.
And I definitely want to have more kids.
I just want to make sure that we're like, we have enough help.
You know, like I said, we don't all are.
Mom can always move up here full time.
It's a lot easier said than done.
She's got, she has animals to take care of.
She has a life up there.
So it's not as easy as said than,
people do it all over the world.
I know, people do it all the time.
I'm just a planner.
I like to plan.
I like to know what my finances are.
I like to know what's coming up.
This goes into another question.
Amanda Lynn 88.
She said, would Mama ever move to LA,
even if it's temporary, to be closer to you guys?
Love y'all.
I'm in Michigan.
Yes.
Yes.
I love the weather here.
And I think California's beautiful state.
And then I just love to be with crews.
I'm going to spend so much time with him.
I'm going to call you on this. OK. I'm going to be you know with crews. I'm just been so much time with him I'm gonna call you on this wait you okay? I'm gonna I just want to record this myself
So you said you would move up here temporarily or permanently or I need to hear this
Can we get this in writing?
Yes, I've talked to Brittany before about just flying back and forth
You know when you all are busy maybe step here a couple months and then going back to Kentucky
I've talked to Brittany about this. She probably didn't tell you. Well, I know it's the idea.
Especially if we have another kid, we love having you around. We do, but we all know,
and I don't think many people don't know this, that Sherry does have a farm. She has animals that
rely on her, that she needs someone needs to be there every single day. She's got horses,
she's got dogs, cats, I don't know what else is there, but just I mean a lot of land to take care of the grass.
There's things have to be done and she's like, you know, she has to take care of this property.
So someone always has to be there. So it's not as easy. Everyone's like, why doesn't your mom come up more?
Well, she's got her life, you know, she has a full-time job and you know, everything going on. So
oh, that's our dogs right now. I'll have to take care of it.
They stay calm down. But that's what the reason why people are saying,
how come she doesn't come up more? That's the reason why. But hopefully if I can get her to take care of it. See, stay calm down. But that's what the reason why people are saying, how come she doesn't come up more?
That's the reason why.
But hopefully, if I can get it,
I can move up here quicker.
I usually see you every couple months.
Yeah, no more in three months apart.
But I would love for it to be even longer,
because I mean, my mom are so close.
I just love you so much.
And I think that just having you be around crews
so that he gets to know you, and you don't miss all these
like milestones is such a big deal, you know?
Oh, I know. I love I love being here with him and then you know me and he was always been like super close.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Like we can't stand to be mad at each other.
Oh, second. No, not your text and around text. And I'm sorry, but that don't even happen hardly ever.
No, I cannot get into a fight with my mama. That's my girl right there. I
want to ask another question. This is from Clow Jo Maught. I hope I'm saying these
names right. What is your greatest wish for Brittany and her family? Oh, okay.
Well, definitely, definitely to extend their family. Yes. Have another child maybe two. One more
child at least. And then just really for just happiness. And hopefully one day
that they will move to Kentucky and maybe now it's probably going to be a long
time from now. But one day I'd like for them to to move back to Kentucky. Yeah.
I mean, we've always seen ourselves maybe moving back to Kentucky or something
But now we got a bar open and so we're gonna say what's gonna happen?
I was just gonna say it might be a little bit longer now that now that I am I don't know if you guys know this or not
But I am opening a bar in studio city last week. Woo-woo Jackson
Jackson studio city. I know a lot of people in the DM me when is it gonna open?
We want to add it to our vpr tour. We cannot wait. you going to be selling merch are you having sports what are you guys doing there
It's going to be a little bit of everything. I'm sorry. I don't mean to come over to all the way
But you know, I don't really have an opening date
Ideally, I would love to be open before college football. That's the plan
But you know, it's construction. It's LA
You just don't know things getting the way sometimes permitting whatever,
but the idea and the goal is to be open by college football.
I'm super excited.
I can't wait to have, you know, everybody there.
I'm gonna be there as much as possible.
I'm not gonna be married to it.
You can be a little bit of a difference.
Hold on, I wanna get mom's opinion really fast.
Mom, what did you think whenever you first heard
that Jackson was wanting to open the sports bar?
Oh Lord, here we go. I didn't like it.
And why not? Well because he told me in the years past that open a bar, get a divorce. Yeah. I'm never
I was not happy with it. I've never really met a guy that has a happy marriage who owns a bar, But the difference, that's why she's terrified.
Well, here's the difference.
My wife is 100% involved in this bar just as much as I am.
Now, I also haven't met a guy that has his wife 100%
involved like I do.
So there's a difference here.
So everything that I'm doing, she's doing.
Everything, every dollar that I make, she makes.
That's right.
We're doing this together, baby.
Family affair.
Family affair.
And if people don't know, everyone's like,
why don't you call
Jackson Britney's just Jackson just sounds better yeah and I
was all for that name I think it's cute I like it mom now
that you've like heard more about the bar like straight from
Jackson's mouth do you feel better about things a little
maybe I'm gonna keep very close tabs on Jacks to see how he's
doing with this process.
I'm very excited.
Brittany's going to be involved, like I said, just as much as I am.
She's going to be there for events.
I'm going to be there for events.
We only lived 10 minutes away.
It's really easy, but we're definitely not going to be married to it.
I got a little bit of advice from Tom Schwartz last week on what to do and kind of what not
to do.
Definitely not taking a lot of business advice from either of those two.
But from this one thing I am taking advice is just don't be married to the
bar and use it as a place to make money, not to go there and get drunk and
whatever, just get in and get out. So again, we cannot wait to open it.
We're super excited. There's a lot happening and I just can't wait. I can't wait to open.
I know. So excited. I think it's gonna be great. Okay, here's another question from Heather underscore s dot r.
What was Brittany like in high school?
Bad girl or perfect angel?
Well, I would say that she had her moments.
I had my moments.
Definitely. She wanted to have an 18th birthday party.
Oh gosh.
I was so against it.
I was like, no, Brittany, no.
But she finally talks me into it.
So I'm so naive.
So all these people come over to the house.
I'm at Walmart by a Coke and soft-batch cookies.
Yeah.
She has no idea what's going on in my room.
So it's hard to explain, but I had a door to the outside.
And there was like a wall in my room where if you come in from the kitchen to my room. So I, it's hard to explain, but I had a door to the outside. And there was like a wall
in my room where if you come in from the kitchen to my room, there was basically another room inside
my room. So mom, like, wasn't going in there. We had my sister bring me a keg over.
My mom had no idea. I had the birthday party themed, uh, G.I. Joe's and army hosts. She's
cringing right now because she hated it so much. You know, all these girls in army clothes.
Yeah.
I'm like, what?
She had no idea what was going on.
I was just like such a partier.
I was good in school and everything.
Like I had good grades.
It wasn't like I was like bad at that aspect,
but I just was always had a lot of friends.
I was always a partier.
I was always the one bringing people together.
And for mom, she just had no idea what was going on down there.
Did you?
Yeah, no idea.
It was definitely an experience, definitely an experience.
But yeah, we had a bunch of like so many funny memories.
I don't mean to keep jumping all over the place,
but I had a question in someone DM me that now that you're in town.
She's like, what's your relationship with the other Vanderpump moms?
Oh, I love, I love the ladies.
Me and Lisa, I think we're going to get together.
That's law laws mom.
And also she and his mom, I think we're getting together.
So yeah, I have a very good relationship.
I text him, told him, we were coming.
I was coming for the whole month.
So hopefully I'll get to see him soon.
I love that you guys all get together.
I think that's so fun.
Let's see what did you guys do last week?
You went to the Beverly Hills Hotel.
What did you guys do there?
Oh, yeah, we went to the Beverly Hills Hotel
for my friend, Janez Berkley.
So that was a lot of fun.
Was that your first time going to the Beverly Hills Hotel, Mom?
I was there when I was in my 20s.
Oh, you've been there before.
Yes, and I was gorgeous, of course.
But yeah, I got to spend a lot of time with a lot of laws, mom, there.
Yeah.
I'm an ocean.
Oh, yes.
Yeah.
I loved it.
It's so fun.
Yeah, we swam and had a good time.
We went shopping into your.
I was just going to mention that.
She secretly came home with a Christian to your handbag,
had to hide it in the closet for me.
And then she found the right moment to kind of spring
in I mean, she's like, I just don't want you to get mad.
I bought something, but it was on sale.
Like, come on, how much can Christian Dior be really on sale?
Guess what?
I'm the one that told her to hide it in the closet.
And I appreciate that.
See, she knows me better than my own white stuff.
It had an elephant on it, so that's Christmas
favorite animal right now.
It was just meant to be, OK?
I know.
See, but this is the stuff that scares me.
Like, all these handbags buying, and we want to have more kids to have more kids. Oh, trust me. I'll take a new kid over a
new handbag any day. I just love crews so much and I want him to have a sibling so I'm so excited
about that. This is from Carigan WorldlyX and she says what has been the most rewarding experience
of your lives. For me it was definitely having crews. I mean, nothing will ever compare to the joy
that that day brought me.
That was definitely the best day of my life.
We've had so many wonderful memories.
I've had a very blessed life,
but that was just like the best day ever.
Mom, what was the most rewarding day of your life?
Was it when you had me?
Uh.
Well, I was gonna say the children.
And then, yeah, I had three children,
but also I got to see all of my grandchildren
actually born.
Yeah.
And so that was, you know, that was just amazing
to get to see the actual birth of the grandkids.
Yeah, she was, mom was in the room whenever we had crews.
We made sure that she was up here a couple of days
before I went into labor.
So mom got to be there with us the whole time.
We were very lucky because this was during COVID and a lot of people were not allowed to come in the hospital that time.
So I had friends that were we all had kids together around the same time all my friends.
So it was very lucky the weeks were progressing at that time and and Sherry was able to be in the hospital room with us,
which was a blessing because you know not everybody can can be in the room. So it was awesome.
Yes, it was such a great experience having you there and it meant so much to me.
You like almost passed out a couple times though, I'm not gonna lie.
Yeah, but when he was born, he looked just like little jacks, Taylor.
Just like Jacks, as soon as they put him on my chest, I looked at mom and said,
he looks just like Jacks, didn't I? That was one of the first things I said.
Yeah, solid black hair.
Yes, oh, he was so cute and so little.
I need another one.
Okay, I'm gonna ask one last question for you, Mom.
Even though we have so many stories,
we're just gonna have to have you on another time
because I mean, there are so many stories.
We lived in a haunted house.
I could go on for days.
You know, Jackson doesn't believe me
that we lived in a haunted house.
We definitely lived in a haunted house.
Not true, there's no such thing as that. Pretty saw a ghost a haunted house. We definitely lived in a haunted house. Not true. There's no such thing as a haunted house.
Pretty saw a ghost in the house.
All my ex-husband saw his saw ghost on the sofa.
Yes.
I mean, it was real.
It was real.
I know it.
And I've got so many ghost stories.
We will get into that another day.
But you guys hear it now.
My mom is even back in meet up.
We lived in a haunted house.
Yes, we did.
OK.
Last question, mom.
I want to make this all about you.
What is one of your favorite memories
from your own childhood growing up?
Well, I have several, but definitely everything would be
like down on the farm, like we rode the horses,
we rode with motorcycles, we went fishing,
I was a little tomboy, definitely when I was young.
And then probably my best memory would be singing
with my family, We sang gospel music.
It traveled all around.
We even had a little tour bus made our own album.
The Christian Ares.
I would never forget that.
I found in the little record and stuff.
Yeah.
Oh my gosh.
It's the cutest thing ever.
My dad's like played the drums.
Mom and dad's saying my mom all played the piano.
I mean, just so fun.
I just love all those memories.
And we started that when I was 12 years old.
So that was definitely.
We had such a great family.
And yeah, like Mom said, she could do all the like
the fish and stuff.
I love doing all that stuff too.
I thought I was a princess, but I was always
climbing trees and the creeks.
I was doing everything on the farm.
I love being outside.
I know we're jumping all over the place today,
but I forgot to say something.
I just want people to know that we are selling
Mammoth beer cheese at Jackson's.
We are.
I'm using this as like a sales pitch,
but I keep at again all these messages.
Are you going to be selling the beer cheese there?
Yes.
In fact, we have Mammoth flying in to help with the menu.
Sherry's going to be helping with the menu.
We're going to be having some Southern delicious treats
at the store.
We're going to be having Sherry sweet tea.
I don't know what we're going to call it, but it's amazing.
But I just want to let everybody know.
I know this is kind of like, you know,
the thing we are going to be selling, man, most beer
cheese.
Yeah, Jackson's finally coming.
It's finally happening.
Well, like I said, we've got so many more stories
that we could share.
So maybe we'll just have to have you on another time.
But I love you so much, Mama.
You're the best mom in the world.
I'm so lucky to be your daughter.
And thank you for being here with us
and helping us with crews
and getting to share all these memories.
But I love you so much.
And thank you guys so much for listening
to Win Reality Hits with Jackson Brittany.
Keep riding in your questions every week.
And we will see you next time.
Thanks guys.
Love you guys.
