Starting point is 00:00:00 I bet Gaydudes give Gaydudes the best fucking press. Now you're onto something. Yes! I hook you up with a fucking dope ass e-bike. I mean, he knows me so much better than you do! Shut up! I got you a 2021 C-D-U-G-T-E. You're not gonna get me.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Really? That's fucking awesome, man! So I was like, you know what I'll do? I'll send a plane. This plane's fucking the best. And then you put me up with the four seasons. And it was so much money. I don't ever want my family to buy me a gift again. 100%
Starting point is 00:00:43 Happy birthday. Thank you, man. That was, you know, you guys tricked me. For real? I actually bought it too. I'll say this. I'm tough to trick sometimes, and I bought it because all we had talked about was a race car
Starting point is 00:00:59 and two bears racing. And then when we got up to this week, I had mentions something about a car and you're like, hmm, and I was like, really? And then I thought to my head, I was like, yeah, that's a crazy thing to get. And like I get being talked out of someone and be like, don't buy somebody a fucking race car, dude.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Like I understand that not happening. And then I asked everybody, I was like, oh, should I drive? Should I get driven here today? Like is it gonna be a car? And they were like, no, don't worry about that. You can drive yourself here. And I was like, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:33 And I knew that like a real estate race car is not street legal, but I was like, well, they would probably just be like, don't drive here. It's, let me tell you, if I am nothing, I am unwavering in my horrible ideas. You are committed. I am committed.
Starting point is 00:01:52 I am committed. Fuck, that's the crazy thing. This fucking thing. I mean, I was so scared getting into it. I was like, this is so tight. I'm gonna get stuck in here. You've got in and out pretty great. I mean, I had to do like some real maneuvering,
Starting point is 00:02:06 some stretching. Do you have any idea how many people tried to talk me out of this? Everyone. Everyone. Every single person. Every single person. I promise you this. What's that?
Starting point is 00:02:16 I promise you, I'm like, we're both stupid with how we're touring right now. It's so aggressive. Yeah. When I come back here, when I'm off tour in like, We're both stupid with how we're touring right now. It's so aggressive. When I come back here, when I'm off tour in like, I get a little break in June, I get a break in August. I'm taking it to the track. I'm pleased. And I have a race car driver instructor in Austin.
Starting point is 00:02:42 I have so excited for all of this. I'm so excited. And so I'm so excited. It makes my dick hard. Let me tell you something. There's like, there's a few things that make my dick real hard. OK. A big fat ass.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Ha. Ha. Ha. Oh. Ha. Ha. Ha. That's about it. And like next on the list is, you know, and a thing is like, you know how, I think we've
Starting point is 00:03:15 talked about before about, sometimes you kind of jealous of people with their hobbies, their passions, that they really get into it. And one of the things you have to do is you actually have to, you have to make an effort with your passion. You can't just be like, I like it, but I like it peripherally, you know, I like, it's over there, you know, here's photos of it, it's like,
Starting point is 00:03:35 if you really want to like, you have to make an effort, and sometimes you need somebody to be like, here's the golf bag, go fucking play around, you know, like, and, you know, I've done, like I said, I've done a few track days, I get such a thrill out of it. But it is a commitment, you have to be like, I have to go there, I have to, you know, there's a whole thing involved. And I think you giving me this is like, it's like, now you can't not get involved
Starting point is 00:04:01 more. Like, the fun part about this is obviously obviously our goal is To get into a race and win this race the car we have we should call Matt Farah because the car we have Has been in two races. It was it was a custom build. Yeah top to bottom Brand new everything and Matt Farah should be the one describing this yeah, and by the way, I cannot give enough credit to Matt Farah Here's why we work together as a team and here's why we will always be a partnership with Matt Farah when it comes to two bears racing Because all you need is one person to tell you your horrible idea isn't that bad of an idea right you know It's like it's like it's like when we were in the car today
Starting point is 00:04:41 Yeah, I was talking about fully loaded and I was saying, I was saying, I wanna do this. I wanna do that. I don't care about this. I don't care about it. And I agree with you. And you said, that's right. And everyone's telling me no. But I know.
Starting point is 00:04:53 Because you want people to do at fully loaded. Ultimately, ultimately, is walk out going, I had the best fucking time. Yeah. I cannot, like that's all you care about. That's the only thing I care about. Ryan Leif said, don't give a fuck about your first contract. It's the second contract you need exactly. Fully loaded. It's not this first festival is going to be fucking amazing. I need it to be so good that it's without a doubt. It's not. It's undeniable. It's undeniable. There's a second one
Starting point is 00:05:23 and I've got everyone hitting me up going, hey man, I'd like to do that next year. You know, that's the goal. And so when it came to two bears racing, I said it to Leanne, she said, no, I said it to my business manager, he said, no. Not just the money commitment. Money commitment, mosaic.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Like, and it started here, I'm gonna tell you the possible gifts you were gonna get. You were gonna get a, I was gonna build you a custom, like man cave with, and then fill it with $100,000 worth of high-end whiskey, high-end cigars, like, literally go, this is a whiskey from Winston Churchill's collection. Like, I was gonna do that.
Starting point is 00:05:57 That was one of the things I was gonna do. Watches was gonna be one. I was gonna get you the, but what sold me on it as I said, even if two bears racing, say, God forbid, we never get into one race. I will not happen, that will not happen. But what's more important is that when you're home for a long stretch period for a weekend,
Starting point is 00:06:19 you can take your car to the track, and you can get on the track, and you can run like crazy, and have fun and see yourself get better. And it's something you love. People love things. They doing it is effortlessly. It's why I work so hard and stand up.
Starting point is 00:06:33 I absolutely love it. I love podcasting with you. I love doing stand up. I love all of it. So I don't, it doesn't seem like work to me. Exactly. I mean, people, I'm sure they're saying the same thing to me, to you that they're saying to me right now,
Starting point is 00:06:45 which is they're like, how are you doing, like meaning my workload load? Yeah. How are you doing? Yeah. And you go, you know what, it is stressful, it is exhausting. No one wants to hear us bitch about. Yeah. But the truth is like, we travel like every day.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Every day. And we're doing these shows and sometimes it's multiple shows and then you get it. It's nothing but the long term summary of that is that I love doing it. Yeah, I love doing it. Let's call Matt Farah because he really spearheaded this for me.
Starting point is 00:07:12 He said, I think this is actually, when you went on his podcast and he said, he said, no, I think that's actually a great idea. I went, I love to hear that. That's what I love to fucking hear. And Matt Farah did all that he found all the cars He did all the fucking leg work. All right Matt. Oh, when he's in a car fitting. All right, you're on two bears one cave Matt Hey, buddy, he just froze
Starting point is 00:07:42 All right here He just froze. All right. Here. Okay. Hey, uh, can you get to a place we have service and call us back? You have an hour. Yeah, hang on. We'll get off.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Next, next. And I'll call you back. If I could be, uh, give to base crime and just do a regular. That's probably a bad. Yeah, yeah, regular calls better. Do a regular call. All right, call me back. I'm up and call you back.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Matt Ferra is the one that spearheaded this and was like, I think this is a great idea. I think endurance racing is, and then I texted him and I was like, hey man, I'm gonna need your help on this. And he's like, he's like, I got you. I got you. This is where you guys need to be. We can end because the the car, it's so there is.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yeah, you there. Yeah, how's that sound? Is that better? Yeah, yeah, we're speakers at this one. Yeah. Can you hear? Yeah, I can hear you. Hey, can you that sound? Is that better? Yeah, yeah, we're speakers at this one. Yeah, can you hear? Yeah, I can hear you. Hey, can you hear me? Okay, the numbers on there. Oh shit. Do it like yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Because like if this is okay, oh, I will keep on proceeding and not all like get off. No, it's perfect. No, it's perfect. It's perfect. So So we're doing two bears one cave right now Tom just received his gift
Starting point is 00:09:05 But I want you to tell Tom what he got because I can show it to him He and by the way, he just drove it around so he'll tell you the about bad experience Okay, you got the you got the the starting procedure I said to you. Yeah, there's buddy This car doesn't have a key in ignition just so we're clear. Oh, it does not race cars Don't I also when you guys called me earlier and Tom said he couldn't get in it, I forgot to mention that the steering wheel comes off. I hope you figured that out. No, we got him in. We got him in. Yeah, they just shove me in. Okay, but the steering wheel does come off, which makes it way easier to get in and out of.
Starting point is 00:09:37 If you haven't done that yet. Yes. So tell Tom what he got. Oh, I'm so glad he finally has his car. What a pain in the ass. Okay, Tom, happy birthday. Thank you very much. I am very happy that you guys asked me to be part of this. It's really, really fun. And the number of people that have emailed me trying to get a job on this fake race team
Starting point is 00:10:05 is truly, truly comical. I'm like, you know this is a fake race team, right? Yeah. Okay, so what you have is a BMW E46 race car. Okay, it's called a spec E46. And what spec means is that it's built to a certain set of regulations, okay, and that set of regulations is good because it makes the car very versatile. You can use it in a bunch of different types of racing. The the spec E46 races are when everybody would have the same car. It would be you racing against a bunch of other people in the same
Starting point is 00:10:57 cars, built to the same rules, and those are like short races. They're like 25 or 30 laps, you know, they last an hour, right? But what I thought that we would want to do and what we talked about on my show was endurance is a team sport and so you have multiple drivers that would run, you know, one session at a time and you you run them through and it's a longer race. It's a 12 hour or even possibly a 24 hour endurance race. And it's like most number of laps you complete in a time period, whether it's 8, 12 or 24 hours. So, this car, I believe it's a 2004, it's a 330 CI coupe and so it has a 3-liter inline 6 engine.
Starting point is 00:11:50 It's about the rules of spec U46 limit your horsepower to 225 horsepower, which you know, Tom, you're out there, we got you a's and stuff to drive and you've got your crazy Porsche. So so compared to that stuff, it's not going to be fine-deblowing fast, but the difference is, you know, when you're racing, you're using all that power all the time, driving it at the limit. So also, the car weighs like a fucking, the car feels like it weighs as much as like a bag of paper. I mean, it's like, I know the car feels like it weighs as much as like a bag of paper.
Starting point is 00:12:25 I mean, it's like, I know, it weighs nothing. It weighs like 2800 pounds. So that power, yeah, it actually has ballast in it because you make the car underweight and then you can add lead plates that can add weight to make, because there's a class minimum weight for the spec E46, it can't weigh less than like
Starting point is 00:12:48 2800 pounds so they build the car to 2700 pounds and then they put weights back in it in an optimum kind of location for For weight distribution. Gotcha. So yeah, so it's a really light car And when you take you know the interior and a bunch of stuff out of these cars, they are very light. They have very good balance. They're really, when you're really at the limit in the corners, they have their really good steering feel, really good balance, the transitions between oversteer and understeer. Very communicative. And in the endurance racing series,
Starting point is 00:13:26 you actually use street tires. You don't use slick tires. What that means is it makes it much more forgiving to drive. So if you're new to racing, it will feel like a really well set up street car and not like a totally unfamiliar race car. Well, I just drove it down the street and I got a bunch of looks, but it was.
Starting point is 00:13:51 We shouldn't do that. That's not, it's not legal. Oh, I know that. That part I know. I was, I was really well aware that it wasn't legal. And then I saw an unmarked explorer and I was like, well, here it goes. But I turned away and I gave him the finger.
Starting point is 00:14:10 I came back right away. And then, but just. I feel good that it runs smooth. Yes. And it's, I mean, it just throwing that thing in and out of gears was like a fucking. It feels nice, right? Yes. It was a thrill. So this car, you know, when
Starting point is 00:14:26 Bert, Bert told me the budget, I literally laughed at his face. And I think you guys are insane. Yeah, I love the level of rich that you're at. I think you're at a very fun level of rich both of you. Where some degree you still understand what money is, but other degrees you have no idea anymore what money is. I think it's great. And so these cars, you know, this is a pretty high dollar car. And although looking at it right now, cosmetically before we put the wrap on it, it may not look like an expensive car. Once you put the wrap on it,
Starting point is 00:15:16 and it looks like it really, you'll understand the roll-k. So this car was built by a company called Legacy Motors in Sacramento, outside of Sacramento. And all this company does, the only thing that they do is build spec E46 race cars. It's the only thing they do. The car is not brand brand new, but it's done two short races. It's never done in Durant's race It's only done to spec E46 races. It was raised by the people who built it and it was on the podium in both of those races
Starting point is 00:15:54 Wow, so this is a fast car. It's a very competitive car bro. I'm so excited It's gonna be so much fun, dude when you get this thing on the track, and we can, I have some friends who are members at Harris Hill Raceway. Yes, yes. Yes. A great little track for practice. Yeah. And when we get this thing out on the track and do some testing laps in it, you are going to have the best time. I think it's really, I can't wait. It's going to be so fun. are going to have the best time. I mean, it's really, I can't wait.
Starting point is 00:16:24 It's gonna be so fun. The rap that we're doing, the dude less, I'm blanking on his company right now. I'm sorry for that, but the name of the company will be on the car. I gotta call my buddy. I met an instructor at Coda, and he's been trying to get me out to Harris Hill
Starting point is 00:16:42 in other cars. You know, great. I'm gonna call him. Well, I'm gonna call going to call him, I got something else to show you. Yeah. And he's going to be like, have you progressed? Look, the more you can practice in this car, the more you're familiar you'll be when it's time to go race it. And I've driven not this exact car, but one like it and it was so fun. We have to
Starting point is 00:17:05 Fun car to drive we need a trailer to say we bought it Burd bought you a trailer dude. You had a trailer. Yeah, Burd bought you a trailer. Oh, yeah I got you suits. I got you a trailer wait. Where's the trailer line? I had to get you I had to get you all the way up to the budget. Yeah, oh, yeah All the birds yeah, the tires aren't cheap. Is the trailer on the way? Where's it? I don't know. Where is the trailer? Talk to the management team on the two bears raising
Starting point is 00:17:34 tax threat. They're handling that. I told them which one to buy. It's literally brand new. You got a brand new trailer. Brand new trailer. The problem is, you're going to need a truck to get the trailer to move around them. I'll buy a truck. Yeah, I mean, you're gonna need a truck to get the trailer to move around in I'll buy a truck Yeah, I mean, you know get a truck, you know what you're gonna need it
Starting point is 00:17:58 And also we've got a sponsorship from Simpson racing products. They're getting us helmets with comms They're getting us custom two bears racing suits. I've already got your measurement, Tom. We're getting Hans devices. You're we're getting everything. It's comp from Simpson racing. Holy shit. Shut up. Oh, we're also getting racing. Also, my guys at RecTech are getting us a smoker that'll go onto the back of our trailer. I love saying you work that out. It's like we need ribs at the end. I'm gonna be sitting there for 12 hours. I might as well make a brisket. The two bears racing text message thread is hilarious. I'm like, okay, here's the cars we're looking at
Starting point is 00:18:34 and Berks like, I got a smoker. We're gonna get a kegerator. People are gonna be like, you know when two bears racing shows up to an event, we know we're gonna eat right. Yeah. And you know, you can can tell the trailer that we're getting we can tell that with birds bus Jesus Christ do you know how much fun that would be we're gonna have a fucking rig dude it's gonna be sick and then we're also the guys my boss are they're getting us a list of the spares package. You know,
Starting point is 00:19:06 here's everything you want. These cars are really reliable. They're one of the reasons, there's three reasons I chose this car for you. One is that once we get the seat right in everything, they're really comfortable for taller drivers. They're very comfortable to get it out of and spend time in Two is is there really fun to drive like I was saying that they're quick the balance is good They're really engaging. It's just a very pleasant thing to be driving and racing dude Is there very reliable so they they don't? You know, they don't they don't break a lot and it doesn't mean we can't break it, but the kind of spares and stuff that we need for a race weekend is pretty basic stuff. The engines are understressed, the gearboxes and the differentials, they don't really
Starting point is 00:19:56 go. They have very few wear items, which in endurance racing is a concern. These are pretty stout race cars, and this one is brand new a, you know, is a concern, you know, so these are pretty stout race cars. And this one is brand new and freshly serviced and it's ready to race. Can't wait. The thing is awesome. Leanne's dad would like to come out and work on our pit crew. Okay.
Starting point is 00:20:17 He's like, he's like, what? This is everything I've ever dreamed of. You about a race team? You kidding me? Hey, boy, I come out work for free. I was like, I wasn't banging in there. Yeah, for free. I do have, you know, I got all these people hit me up
Starting point is 00:20:31 and wanted to work. And I'm like, I work, this isn't the real race team. I don't like talking about that, but, but my friend Marco, who is like a genius with horses and has worked on BMW race team before, this dude is gonna be our head on site Tech when we're actually ready to And this this guy is the guy we we don't even look anywhere else like this the guy What welcome to the team Marco. He looks he looks like a shorter version of
Starting point is 00:21:01 Honestly like if you cut eight inches off of Tom you get barco like you looks to he has the right look for two pairs of racing all right this is gonna be fun as fucking shit yes is going to be so how what's our schedule what does it look like on our first race Matt like because I think that's gonna be an event you guys are doing like 200 dates you're asking me about fucking dates when can you go racing I don't know that's actually a very fair point from a fair yeah yeah no Yeah. No, I'll send you some, I'll set let's get a three-way text read going about dates and I'll send you some open dates. And then we also, you know, I want to come down there with you, Tom and Ron. And Ron, if you practice sessions in the car, I know it's, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:40 goats. Done. By the way, I'm going to come down for that, I'm going to come down for that too, because I want to see see I want to be there Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll never drive this Fuckin car for bird you know bird wanted to be wants to be Harry and days of thunder right? Yeah, yeah, I scream cone and scream it through the radio. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. So we the car has Combs right so so the driver can talk to the pick crew But it also has real-time telemetry and video. So with either an iPad or a laptop in the pit, the car sends a real-time video feed from what the driver's seeing.
Starting point is 00:22:20 I don't know if it's two cameras or just one, but either way, the crew chief in the pit can see what the driver's seeing, right? I don't know if it's two cameras or just one, but either way, the Ruchi in the pit can see what the driver's seeing, see what's going on in the track, and also see all the telemetry of the car from the engine temperature, like everything from overall stuff, like the engine temperature, and how much fuel you have, to literally like what gear you're in, what revs are, like throttle position, brake position, like literally see what the driver's doing. So if you have like your coach, you know, in the pits, you can go, okay, Tom, you know, you can,
Starting point is 00:22:55 you can take more throttle through this corner, like in the middle of the race. Jesus Christ, it's, it's, it's amazing. And that's content and that's all, that's all like, that's all content right? Yeah, Matt. Thank you for helping out so much with this appreciate it man. Oh, dude happy birthday. Thank you so much I'll only cost me a seat in every race you do. Okay, here we go Matt You're the best I cannot thank you enough for helping facilitate this birthday present
Starting point is 00:23:23 This is this is my pleasure, absolutely. I'm so glad that we could spend birds, money in such an egregious way. And let's make sure we go full budget on this thing. Awesome. Let's not cut any quarters. Bird Christchurch wallet is going to be empty. It might be empty at this price.
Starting point is 00:23:42 When they do my behind the music and they're like, what happened to Bert Christy? Spending recklessly, he spent $100,000 on his buddy's birthday. He didn't even know it dried. He hoobers everywhere because he drinks. Hey, Matt, thank you. All right, and last thing before I get out of here, Bert, the two hours of radio we did on my show,
Starting point is 00:24:02 the Spokentire podcast, that was some of the most fun radio you know I've ever done so thank you for making the time when I'm in the town and you know a lot of great response for that you two top thanks almost I'm most tech doing my show almost text you yesterday it was Charles birthday I know it was Carl's birthday I missed that motherfucker and two of my friends one of which is Marco who was talking about, you know, what said, I listened to that show and I made an appointment with my cardiologist. Good deal. Good deal. Good deal. Awesome. Thank you for everything, brother. Bye, guys. See you, buddy. Thank you. Yeah, and I told you that he, he, uh, he had asked me, I, you know, I've known that a little while. Yeah. He's like, I want to get bird on.
Starting point is 00:24:45 And the day you podcasted with him, he texted me, he goes, I think that's the best podcast I've ever done. Wow. Yeah. I don't remember much of it. Really? I think we're pretty drunk. Uh,
Starting point is 00:24:58 isn't that crazy that they go on radio shows and I don't remember what I said. And people are like, that's the best thing I've ever had. Apparently when I just fucking untethered from whatever the fuck, I don't remember what I said. And people are like, that's the best thing I've ever had. Apparently when I just fucking untethered from whatever the fuck, I don't know. Here's what I love about this. We are turn, your career trajectory is in the Paul Newman direction, right? Like what, like you, he was a legit race car.
Starting point is 00:25:21 He was actually stealing. He was stealing. Paul was real at talent. Pull up, you look fucking so good in that. He was a legit race. He was actually really. He was really. Paul was real talent. I mean, pull up. You look fucking so good in that. Except the fact that my fat body looks like it's a touch. Tast you. Oh, I didn't see that.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I didn't even notice that. I didn't notice that. That you're in the reflection of the door. Looks horrible. Dude, it is, I gotta tell you something. It's taking me a minute to process how exciting. Sometimes you know, you're like, what the fuck just happened?
Starting point is 00:25:51 We should also, for the ones that don't know, recap, I was so excited on the first time, right? The first time what happened was, I had gotten a e-bike. I think Christina and I got them together. I think we were living in... Palsuits. Yeah, and I go, I don't know, we just,
Starting point is 00:26:14 we went somewhere and we tried them and they were relatively new. They've been out for a little bit. I never, I don't know. I don't know. I go, this is fucking awesome. You called me and you were like, hey, have you ever driven one of these? And I was like, this is fucking awesome. You called me and you were like, hey,
Starting point is 00:26:25 have you ever driven one of these? And I was like, no, what are you talking about? And you're like, these bikes. And I was like, no, and you're like, it's electric bike. They're fun as fuck dude. And I was like, really? You're like, you gotta try it. I'm having such a good time.
Starting point is 00:26:35 And I remember that I did this. This is when you care about somebody. I went and I told the people what kind I had. And they were like, yeah, that was pretty good, but these are better. And I was like, yeah, that was pretty good, but these are better. And I was like, I wanna give them the better one. So I go, let's get them, whatever it's like, what do you think is, I go,
Starting point is 00:26:51 what do you think the best thing is here? Yeah. And they go, this one. And I go, okay. And then I told them, I want you to drop it off. You just, you know, surprise them. I wanted it to be a surprise. And I was like, it's rad, he goes,
Starting point is 00:27:03 this one's fucking awesome. And then it fun like I spent you know, I think a little over three thousand dollars I go just to surprise my friend for his birthday and I got the video of you I think the girls the girl shot video of me seeing it good Georgia and I look came back This is when they were this is this it yeah George and I like came back and they were really excited. They're like, I was like, you're never going to be with Tommy got you. And I was like, what? And like, don't come outside, don't come outside. And then you called me and you're like, Hey, are you, are you walking out? And I was like, wait,
Starting point is 00:27:36 what? It was, but you know, this is, we had never got each other birthday presents. No, it just, it came out of nowhere. Yeah, and I think, you know what we had done, but the year what we were doing is we were posting things on each other's birthday to surprise each other. Meaning I think this goes back a titch further in that the year before I got porn stars to wish you happy birthday and put dildos in their asses. Yeah. And like, and I try to get this guy, honestly. Wait, what did you do the year before? Did you do something the year before? I remember, I hit up this guy to take a shit on a piece of bread.
Starting point is 00:28:13 I was like, go to Tom's birthday, go to Tom's birthday. The year, find it, see if you can find it on my Twitter. It's gotta take a minute. You just type in at Berkreich, your Twitter, happy birthday at Tom's Grr. And because I got, I did a video. Yeah, you're right, you're right. And they know.
Starting point is 00:28:38 And you got like all kinds of them to like, I'm meaning like men and women and they were all, some of them might be right there. Hmm. This tweet was deleted by the author. See if you can find that while we do this. But that was how it started is we were doing jokes for each other online and then you bought me that
Starting point is 00:29:04 and I came out, you were so excited. And no one had gotten me, well, part of what made it more awesome was the fact that you were like, I get the shittiest presence. Yeah. And that you would, and that you would actually roast your own wife about what she gets you.
Starting point is 00:29:20 She got me a wallet when you. Yeah. And wait, that was last year. It's in my pocket. It's so uncomfortable. You're like, you're like, who gets somebody a wallet? She got me an iPad when you yeah, wait that was last year. Yeah, it's in my pocket. It's so uncomfortable You're like you're like who gets somebody a wallet. She got me an iPad one year I go I could buy this for myself. Yeah Like a president should be something you you wouldn't buy for yourself right right So it becomes and I mean to be very candid. Yeah, but when you when you start making a little money
Starting point is 00:29:39 It does become difficult that yeah You become hard to shop for for our wives because they're like, well, I don't know what because anything I want, I'll just get if I want it. Like for instance, for years, for years, I wanted to stand up paddleboard for fucking years. And but Leanne would say, where will we keep it? Right. And I, and I, this is, that's the video. Hold on one sec. Yeah. And I would, and then I wanted a motorcycle, and I would come out, it would be my birthday, and I'd think they were gonna surprise me.
Starting point is 00:30:16 They're like, here's a belt. You know, I think. The only thing worse than a bad present is when you have your hopes up for a good one, and then you see the bad one and you realize no one in your family knows you. Right, right. And you're like, and you're like, oh, cool,
Starting point is 00:30:30 a t-shirt with Bert Nerny on it. Thank you. Yeah. I mean, I got that one here and I was like, it is, here's the thing. It's, I remember going, and then like, because you're Bert, I went, no, I get it.
Starting point is 00:30:42 I get it. I get it. I've tried to avoid being called fucking, where's Ernie, and, I get it. I get it. I get it. I have my whole life. I've tried to avoid being called fucking, where's Ernie? And I'm wearing it on my fucking chest. And now when people know me, they're like, hey, where's Ernie? I'm fucking, well, the thing is, to be fair to people
Starting point is 00:30:56 that are close to us and love us, it is difficult to buy us something. Meaning that like, you know, if you see something that you like and want, you can just go get it, right? So you have to be creative and there's probably some budget restricts. So it's more like at this point, people have to be imaginative and get you something creative to buy.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Point being that I also felt like it was such a thrill to see you that because I saw that you were genuinely excited and you would call me you like dude I took the bike out I almost killed myself. Oh yeah because I was at night. I was my birthday. I got drunk and then I'm like it's you can write a bike drunk. Yeah, I don't think you can. No, you can get a DUI anyway anyway, anyway, I get on this fucking bike and I'm fucking Anyway, I was getting on this fucking bike and I'm fucking Feline at two in the morning. I'm flying around my neighborhood Yeah, I went into the park and just was flying through the grass like it's like fucking it goes like 30 Yeah, it goes faster and and and I was going soap and I was having and then The next night people came over and I was like everyone's got to try my bike and like
Starting point is 00:32:02 The kids were coming back and I don't think you're supposed to like kids ride it. The kids were coming back like, what the fuck? And I mean, the look on, and I kept going, Tom got it for me. Tom got it for me. And Leanne's like, I remember Leambi and I was like, that's what you get, that's what you should get when you under deliver.
Starting point is 00:32:18 You under delivered, he over delivered. I wish he could see the look on your face to know how hard he hit it out of the park. Can I tell you, can I tell you? I really think that this competition has made her become a better present gift for buyer for me. Because I'll say things and I think now she goes, oh, of him and his friend are in the business
Starting point is 00:32:41 of dropping six figures on each other. Maybe I should spend more than $500 on them. Yes. I mean, she got, she got, it is, it is, I mean, well, the next thing after that is that you got me a badass C-Due, you know, a Jets. So then, so then, so then I got that prize on, we came in. She must have been upset. If you haven't seen this episode, I don't know what episode it is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:05 The link, there'll be a click, a link to that episode in our description. If you can do that in the dog. But when I got that present, we then talked about gay men giving the best presents in the world. That's right. And gay men because they're guys,
Starting point is 00:33:21 they're gross. And they know what to get another guy. Yeah, it's just two dudes. And they're like, I know what I want. And all I've heard is every gay guy I've know has said you and Tom nailed it on the head. It's one of the most, one of the most anxious parts about being gay is that you and your boyfriend have to one up each other every year.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Right. And so they get to a place where they're buying. And like, and we did and we had gay guys submit. It's like remember when we did the thing about tell us what the problem is about having a big dick and people came and wrote in with real problems about having a big dick. But gay men were like, wrote in the best gifts
Starting point is 00:33:57 that anyone can ever give each other. Oh, my boyfriend got me subway series tickets to the Metziankeys. Let's see that, your wife would never think to do that. Never, fucking never You know, I said once I said I said I want to I was home about you know, I'm not home very often and I was home in those were Rams game and I said um I want to treat everyone all our friends have been really generous with me like you know talking about my
Starting point is 00:34:21 Specials and and the girls and the kids and we're not to have this very much longer because the kids are going to college. I want to treat everyone. I want to get a box at the at so phi. Yeah. And she was like, no, no, just fucking go to the game before the game. I said, no, I actually, I said, I want you to think about it and realize this will be something we never forget. And then she called back.
Starting point is 00:34:39 She was like, yeah, you know, you're right. Let's do that. That's not a bad idea because Leanne's instinct was spending money because I think she grew up poor was that no, no, no, no, you're right. Let's do that. That's not a bad idea. Because Leanne's instinct was spending money because I think she grew up poor, was that, no, no, no, no, no. Don't even get tickets. It's fun to watch a game at home. Let's have friends over at the house.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Well, you know, that's her, and we went, and it, like, look, my, I mean, any dad out there will know, when your daughters get older, there is a little bit of distance. They want to, their independence, and their dad isn't the coolest guy in the fucking world. And I, when I got get older, there is a little bit of distance. They want their independence, and their dad isn't the coolest guy in the fucking world. And when I got the tickets for the thing,
Starting point is 00:35:09 both George and I had to say they didn't want to go. And I got a box, and it, I mean, broke my heart. So only reason I got it, it's been time with my kids, and to let them see a game, and you know, to have a family moment, and all our friends are going, and everyone's going, and they didn't want to go.
Starting point is 00:35:25 And I actually made them go. Like I was like, you're going, that's not a conversation you're going. And they're like, I'll go up and make you happy. And I was like, yeah, it will make me happy. George came up to me. George is the, the, the, the Leanne and I feel the full headed one.
Starting point is 00:35:41 George came up to me and, uh, in the thing with a huge smile on her face, gave me a hug and was like, thanks for making me do this. This is so amazing, God. This is so amazing. And I was like, that's all you want. When you give a gift, is you want someone to just say like, here's the part about gift giving that I don't that because I also realized over time that for me personally, you know, they have that people have different languages of love, for some people it's spending time,
Starting point is 00:36:11 for some people it's written words, it's like hearing things, for some people it's affection. So I show affection by giving gifts. You're the one that taught me how to give a gift. But I genuinely, the thing about it is that the thrill is for the gift giver. So you're a lot of times you go like, oh, it's like, you know, to the person, like, no, no, to me, the thrill is in the giving of that gift. It's better than receiving.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I know that sounds, I know that's like a hacky, is better than giving it a receive. But it's so much better. But that's the feeling you get of like, here's like, here's a much I care about you and I think about you that I put together the affection I have for you, I put thought into it, and yeah, I spent money, but I don't even like
Starting point is 00:37:02 making it about the amount of money. It's hard to ignore when you start doing the things we're doing, but it's really about being like, you know, like the time I got the bike, it's like I thought you would just really enjoy that. I, and then the the the jet chargers I got you is because I was like, you know what? He's, he's bus is actually coming to where I live. I'm gonna do it in and out so that you get to have like, to make it easier for you. And the idea was I wanted to get you a bigger one
Starting point is 00:37:33 with a flight attempt, so it was like an experience for you. Yeah, it was amazing. And the only thing that sucked about that gift is that my crew got, my team got to experience it too, and it wasn't their fucking birthday. I almost, I, they just kept going, thanks Tom, thanks Tom. I was like, don't you know what I'm saying? Do no one can drink but me.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I mean, we had fucking meals, fucking kale over a legendary road on it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was fucking, it was insane. But you took this to a whole, now here's the thing, man. You got me a legit race car, a trailer. We have four tires, yeah, headless. Okay, your birthday's in November. I am pressed right now.
Starting point is 00:38:14 First of all, I have anxiety about you for you. Like, are we ever going to set a budget limit? I, you know, I gotta be honest with you. It was, it was a very tough conversation. Leanne was like, you know, I didn't get, I didn't spend that much on Leanne at all. Like, I like, so like, I, when I sat down and I said, you know,
Starting point is 00:38:42 just letting you know this ahead of time, that was right after my birthday, some spending $100,000 on Tom Frizz birthday. She was like, why? And I was like, because he spent $75 on my birthday. And so I need to up it. She goes, just spend $76. I went, no, no, no, no, no, that's not how this works. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:01 I want, and she was like, where's this end? And I was like, I think we cap it to a million. And she was like, we're not ever spending a million dollars. And then I was like, and then I was like, yeah, this, we got to figure out rules to this because it's getting because we're in ends. It sounds like where it ends is Dubai. Yeah. She was saying, like, and then what do you want him to get? You and I kept going, I don't know. I started saying things that were unreal. And she would, so. I have a pretty cool idea.
Starting point is 00:39:32 It's okay. Let's just celebrate your birthday right now. Yeah. Because I'm getting anxious about, because I turned 50 this year. I know, and the idea that I have is, fuck. Hey, play that video out,
Starting point is 00:39:49 because this was the inception. You did something for my birthday that was funny. You got someone to do something. And then I got this for yours. I just went out. Headphones. That's right. He's in jail now. Wait, can you, oh, we have to put an headset on?
Starting point is 00:40:04 Yeah. Yeah. He's in jail now. Wait. Can you oh we have to put headsets on yeah, yeah, he started over Oh, this is the one on Instagram. What's the one on the Twitter one is Twitter one? It's got to have yeah Twitter's unedited. Okay, give us a second. Okay. No, I think you know, it's interesting. I was telling you this Ron's birthday was the other day Ron Jeremy. No, oh telling you this, Ron's birthday was the other day. Ron Jeremy? No. Oh. Ron Marshal.
Starting point is 00:40:27 My bus driver. Yeah. And we went to lay stuff in the Albany Mall. We got to lay stuff. Thank you guys very much. Yeah. And they, and he's a, Ron's a shoe guy, like a legit shoe guy. Like he has a storage unit where he keeps his shoes.
Starting point is 00:40:46 And so we pulled out, I love Nike SB's, it's like my favorite shoe, it's just comfortable, it's bigger, I like also like the Air Force ones, only because they are the most comfortable you ever worn. And so the way those work is, you tell them the size, they tell you what they have in stock. So we pulled out the the
Starting point is 00:41:06 Nines and we went through and looked at everything and stock and we said these are the three runs like these are three I like I see them they brought them out. So we each kind of lined them up. We're like we're favorite at least favorite second favorite, right and And Ron was like yeah, and he was talking about the different shoes. I could wear these. These are good go with good go, would go good with camo. But man, I don't know, these are like a good, you, I could wear these more often. These are like a special event shoe. This is like a special event shoe. And so I go, which one do you think,
Starting point is 00:41:39 and he just moved, and you know, Ron, because I think it's his birthday moves the least expensive one at the top. And he's like, I think I'm gonna go with those. I said, all right, let's just get all of them. And Ron, you know, I'm not going to, I don't know, Ron doesn't want to, me to speak out of pocket. But he got very emotional. And it changed his day. And it's so funny. Because his day and it's so funny because it was it was it made I felt so much better that the real was myself three shoes the thrill is for you I thought so fucking good yeah it's like you know I bought Lee on a watch for her birthday last year hmm she would never bought it for herself never
Starting point is 00:42:20 years and I she has it on all the time. Oh, she never takes it off. And anytime I FaceTime earn, I see that watch, makes me feel good that she enjoys it. Yeah, you know, is this the one from Twitter? Hold on. Yes. 200,000 views.
Starting point is 00:42:39 This one is dedicated to the machine for his best friend's birthday, Tom Sigura. Happy birthday. Oh, here we go. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear. What's his name? Tom. But how long has it been since you've had your scram eaten? Sigurra
Starting point is 00:43:07 Oh Happy birthday I used to work with big cocks but not a cock like that. I mean that cock was just amazing To you Happy birthday Happy birthday And my name is Laura Have a great day.
Starting point is 00:43:26 Such a big fan. I'm gonna find out where the bodies are at. Do you sweat these days? That was sweet. That was really fun. In hindsight, I would have played a lot of Adrianic. I should have come out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:44 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We can tell say maybe for my birthday, just get me and you to fuck her. Did you know I give me and a hundred thousand dollars and go, give the, give Burton either day off. Run a double T-bar. You know people think people hit me up and they're like,
Starting point is 00:44:00 Hey, man, I don't like the way you talk about your wife on two bears. What do you mean? Like people have hit me up. They're like, you sound like you're not happily married. I'm like, what, you fucking worry about your marriage. Yeah. What the fuck's wrong with you?
Starting point is 00:44:10 I feel like you can only say that because you, yeah, that's what, when you, yeah, guys who cheat on their wives do not make jokes about cheating on their wives. No. Trust me. I just saying Gillis on my podcast and he told a joke, he's like, yeah, you know, it's on the right energy joke and he told a joke that was super
Starting point is 00:44:32 aggressive and was and missed. Yeah. And the shane, Gillis bombing is my favorite thing in the world because he just frees and he's like, uh, uh, uh, takes up a bad light and he's like, you take that out. And then he goes, you're gonna have to tell a bad one too. You have to tell a bad one so I know that you'll take that out too. So I told a horrible joke and then he was like,
Starting point is 00:44:57 okay, I feel better. You know what, can I say, I don't wanna cry, but this is true. I have it on video, I don't think I've showed it to you. I'll show it to you at some video. I think I've showed it to you. I'll show it to you at some point. I might cry talking about it, but I got my dad a car before he died and it was awesome to see, like I facetimeed him and I set him up. So he was like, he's like, I want to get a bigger SUV. So I found one in Palm Beach and I called and I bought it. I was like, I was like,
Starting point is 00:45:28 I'll take it. And then I go, he was like, I'm going to go look and I tricked him. So I told the guy, I was like, he's going to look at used ones that are in his budget. So I go, why don't you, I go, I want you to sit him in that one. I'm gonna be like, this is a new one. And it's sold, but I can show you like some of the features and stuff. And then they, they FaceTime me. And he was like, I was like, we think of that one. He goes, well, this one's a fucking turbo. He's like, it's out of my league. I was like, but it's pretty bad ass, right? And he was like, fuck, yeah. And I was like, it's yours, dude. He was like, fuck yeah. And I was like, it's yours dude. He was like, what? Yeah. It was pretty cool. He fucking, he was cursing and, you know.
Starting point is 00:46:13 I make a me cry. Yeah, that was fucking awesome. And I got to see him, you know, drive it. And he would call me all the time and be like, this was the best thing I've ever gotten. Dude, you know, there's a guy Jesse Itzler, as I think he's his name and he said randomly, I follow him. He's married to Sarah Blakely, I went to college with her. Yeah. And, wait, is that Spanx? Yeah, she's like the CEO of that, like the, yeah, she created them by herself.
Starting point is 00:46:42 That's why, and let me tell you something, Spanx, fucking just so we're clear, weird fucking idea, but fucking... Right, she stuck by her guns. That's what I love about her. Do they still live here or they lived here? No, they live in, I think they live in Atlanta. They own the hawks. But didn't they live here?
Starting point is 00:46:58 I don't know. I feel like... Did Sarah Blakely live in Austin? In Austin? They may have a house and they're worth of, she's a billionaire. She's a billionaire, I know. The, you know, Sarah Blakely is fucking really fast. And keep it, you went to school with, I went to school with Sarah Blakely.
Starting point is 00:47:18 I don't, I mean, I'm sure we knew each other or passed crossed, but I don't, I don't, I don't remember a lot of college. Just take her name in Austin. And so Sarah Blakely is, I wish I had spent time with her in college. I would have never appreciated her. I don't think I was... No. No, didn't live here? Doesn't I don't see anything saying it. Okay. So I listened. There's a podcast. I forget the name of the podcast, but it's with this guy. I tried to get
Starting point is 00:47:57 him on my podcast. Try to get him to interview me for when I got the award, but he does a podcast. I forget the name of the podcast, but he talks to business people and how they created their business It's one it's when remember there's a period of time our kept saying we're gonna be billionaires And we want to start two bears sports management And I was like because you listen to people like Sarah Blakely you have weird ideas Yeah, she and Sarah Blakely said she didn't want to tell anyone her idea because All you're gonna get is negativity and when you have idea, all you need to do is nurture that idea. Yeah. You don't want the negative stuff.
Starting point is 00:48:28 And then what's crazy is once you get successful, all people do is nurture your ideas. And then you can get people who have really bad ideas and no one told them, no, you know. Jesse Itzler is her husband. I follow him. He's, I mean, he's next level. He's the guy that He's the reason we know who David Goggins is Who it it's there is the app so Jesse Itzler moved David Goggins into his house for a month and said I want to spend 30 days with a with a Navy seal and David Goggins said cool, but you can never say no and and and no. And then Jesse Itzler went on Rogan's podcast,
Starting point is 00:49:08 talked about David Goggins and that's how... Oh, it's living with the seal. Yeah, and it's him living with David Goggins. I mean, no disrespect, David Goggins, but I think that was the thing that launched David Goggins into this motivational bad-ass motherfucker that he is. And Jesse Itzler said something that really changed the way I saw things. When you talk about your parents and your dad, he said, if you had, say your parents are 76, you know,
Starting point is 00:49:33 you're gonna, you see them once a year, maybe they'll live to 85, maybe 10 more times, nine more times. Why wouldn't you just double that immediately? Why wouldn't you say, hey, look, why don't you come out twice a year? Why don't I pay for it? Can you come out twice a year? Why don't you guys come out better yet? Why don't I buy you a house out here so you guys feel comfortable when you can stay longer? Why don't I, that mentality,
Starting point is 00:49:57 I think I'm mis, if I'm misquoted and I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But, and when you say that about your dad, I go, you got to have that. Like you need to invest in those relationships that you really care about. And that's where gift giving comes in. Amazing. I remember I flew my, you know, during the, during the pandemic, I had my bus go out to Tampa and pick my parents up and they wanted to come out. Coddy was giving birth and scared to get on.dy was giving birth and they were scared to get on them.
Starting point is 00:50:26 And my dad and mom were scared to get on a plane. And so I drove, I had my bus drive out, picked them up, drive them across countries so they could be here for the birth of Coddy's daughter. And that gift was expensive. The end was not thrilled about it, you know? But my sister Coddy got to have her parents out here for the birth of her child and my parents got to be there. And that mattered to me. That mattered to me.
Starting point is 00:50:51 And my dad just kept saying stuff like, buddy, I could have never imagined. I mean, I can't pay you back. I can't pay you back. I can't tell you. You know, and I flew private one time and I told my parents, only fly with me, I think it was during that time, I was going to do go big show. And so I think, I don't know, I got a private jet to get me to, so that I didn't have to get quarantined. Yeah. And by the way, I flew commercially to Cabo in September
Starting point is 00:51:24 and then sent a jet, a charter to pick my dad up and fly him there to meet me there for a couple days. I was like, how was that? He goes, great. He goes, wasn't that big, but it was nice. I was like, what? I was like, I've seen bigger ones. I was like, cool.
Starting point is 00:51:42 Cool. Yeah, presence for your parents. Yeah. The presence for your parents and experiences to get to share with your parents. Yeah. So today, not to move forward in this podcast, it's all about gifts, but it's a gizz of God's gifts.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Look, it's my birthday, it's a birthday. It's a birthday, it's birthday. You don't like it, go fuck yourself. Yeah. Today, you treated me to stem cells. I did. And I did not want to do it. I mean, last episode you can tell I didn't want to do it
Starting point is 00:52:07 at the very beginning. I was, dude. You're not spitting out of control. I was spitting out of control. I did think about this though, because I was like, what the fuck are you talking about? Is I realized you were like, when I was telling you, I go, does have no adverse effects on,
Starting point is 00:52:20 and you're like, why don't you know what it is? So I think you were reacting to the fact that you were like, since I don't know what is, no. Yeah, I mean, and I think you're gonna enjoy the benefits of it though. Well, I enjoyed the process of it and I know I will enjoy the benefits of it and I've listened to the testimonials of it
Starting point is 00:52:36 and shout out to Ways to Well, Brigham and the whole Denise and all of them over there were, they're great. They're amazing. They're amazing and after experiencing it and knowing how, knowing the people that swear by it, I text, I called my dad, right before we started and I said, hey, in it may, I'm coming out, I'm coming out to do, I think two bears in May and, uh, and Rogan in May. And I said, and Rogan in May. And I said, why don't I fly you out to Austin?
Starting point is 00:53:06 And we'll hang out, we'll have to play golf or whatever, but more importantly, why don't we get you some stem cells in your necks, he has a really hard time moving around. Yeah. So when we do both your knees and your hip, and he was like, well, I will tell me more about it, and I said, I'm gonna do it, Tom did. So you know what? I'm gonna fly you and mom out. I'm gonna put you up here. I'm gonna do podcasts
Starting point is 00:53:29 I'm gonna work you guys enjoy Austin my dad loves that shit go into a city with my mom Yeah, he brings a camera and takes like pictures with a camera Sure, and so and then we'll get you guys some stem cells where you're hurting We'll get you all peptide it up and then fucking on your way and you'll spend and maybe I'll bring my sister down to hang out with them, but like I can afford to do that and and that is the thing that will make me happy. I don't think I ever understood you know what so funny you long time ago you gave money to to a charity and a video. And I remember thinking, because I wasn't, it's hard to wrap your head around giving money to people or buying big things to people
Starting point is 00:54:11 when you're trying to piecemeal your life together. And I was that guy, just so we're very clear. Both of us, there was a moment where we were getting stem cell shots today. And I thought, we're the same guy who were counting my burps in a car ride to Braya to make $700 each. And that, and by the way, we didn't get to keep all of that.
Starting point is 00:54:31 And so, I've been there and so I remember you gave money to someone and I was like, why do you, I literally thought, and this is a horrible thought, I go, do you do that so that you can put it on social media so people think you're good? Like that's what I thought, because I'll do that if that you can put it on social media so people think you're good? Like that's what I thought because I'll do that if I if that would it is because I don't know if I want to do that I didn't realize the giving money and I have since given a lot of people money like My buddies want to cancer my you know go fund me's I get drunk and I give people money. They're trying to babies. I get I don't fucking I'm I'm very I like I we give I we have a foundation, I just started a foundation. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:07 And so I have no problem giving money in these scenarios. Or it feels so good. It feels good. It feels so good. You know, my two favorite charities, just a plus, we're talking about donating, my two favorite charities that I've been donating to regularly and I really believe in our Starlight Children's Foundation, which basically makes
Starting point is 00:55:29 hospital stays more comfortable for kids and their families. And they do amazing things. They do virtual reality headsets for kids that are staying in hospitals. They'll do instead of hospital gowns, they'll do team logos or Marvel characters so that the kids are like, you know, little, they do amazing things. And so yeah, like it's pretty incredible. So I donate to them.
Starting point is 00:55:54 And then I also donate to World Central Kitchen, which is the Chef Jose Andres organization. Where they go to where disasters are and feed people. Because you forget that when something happens that is catastrophic, like they're feeding people in the Ukraine and just outside over the border now, who are like, hey, I'm a ret, like you forget, like, how do I eat? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Right. And they're serving meals right now to thousands of people a day there. So if you are, you know are looking for a place to donate, I'm just saying kind of amazing, amazing organizations that I have put my money towards because I just believe in them. I used to do the way staff are afloat. That was fun as far.
Starting point is 00:56:37 I love the transition. I know that was actually cool because what you would do is like, that was brilliant. That is such a burnt thing to do because we should add something like that to fully loaded. Yeah, we should add something like, we should do a 50-50 raffle at every fucking fully loaded.
Starting point is 00:56:55 Oh, fucking 50-50 raffle, that's a, I love fucking raffles. Yeah, the, oh, 50-50 raffle. Fucking send that to the chapter, Ed. But you would do the, because we were working on the look our foundations comedy clubs and you know You get a bond with like comedy club staffs the servers the bartenders the the door guys and and you would have a Raffle where somebody on the staff could walk away with like a grand I had I had some of the greatest experiences doing that the first one we did
Starting point is 00:57:23 The first one we did was in Jersey. What happened is I got bonus to $1,000. And I said, I wanna tip out the wait staff. And I was like, and I was like, I'll give $100 to the wait staff. And then I was like, there's 10 people. They each get 10 bucks. It looks like a really cheap tip.
Starting point is 00:57:39 By the way, at the time, $1,000 was a lot of money to me. And by the way, I didn't sense it's still a lot of money, but at the time, I couldn't just give a thousand. Now, I do have a thousand. Let's be clear. A thousand dollars is not a lot of money to you now. Keep going. I just spent a hundred thousand dollars
Starting point is 00:57:51 on your birthday, you're right. So, so I, so I said, let's just, if I, guys, if I put in a hundred dollars, well, you guys each chip in one, and then we'll raffled off in one person will win it. And the girl that won it Her aunts I said she came up. She was crying. She we there's a ton of money It was like if I can seven hundred dollars something and I said what are you gonna spend the money on and she said
Starting point is 00:58:17 I'm pregnant and I couldn't afford to get the carce the good car seat for my baby and now I can get the good car seat for my baby. And now I can get the good car seat. And everyone started crying. So then, so then I was like, wow, this is fun. We'll do this again. I did the next one and it was this kid, Guy Kevin. This is gonna make me cry. He comes up.
Starting point is 00:58:36 By the way, this is, this is stereotypical, but I knew that white chicks winning was like a big heart. Like they always had like a sob story. Black dudes stereotypically don't wanna show you their emotion. They don't wanna show you behind the curtains, right? So I go Kevin and I go who's Kevin and I see a black dude. And immediately my brain goes,
Starting point is 00:59:00 I'm gonna get some fucking tough guy. I was wrong about every black dude that everyone, I was totally wrong He comes up and he starts crying and I said what What why are you seem emotional and he said yeah, I am thank you, and I said where he gets spend this money he goes Next week is my daughter's 13th birthday. I think Georgia was 13 at the time. And I said, oh, congratulations. He goes, I didn't have money to throw her a party. Now I get to be the dad she thinks I am. You're so fortunate in life.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Sometimes you forget your path. And then you see someone on your path at an earlier stage of your path and they remind you of your path. And you stage of your path and they remind you of your path and you're like mother fucker. So many times I didn't get to be the dad that I thought I was. So many times. You think you want your kids to look up to you and That can I fuck me up man, and I did it every every time I
Starting point is 01:00:32 remember Remember when black dude came up we were in Orlando and he won and Someone's like pull another number because his girl came up and her answer was I can pay for my diabetes medication And you're like fuck and this guy goes pull another number. I'll match it We pull another number back black dude comes up me and go what you're gonna do with money goes I'm buying shoes and everyone goes all and he goes looks at him sideways and then someone goes oh my god Look at his shoes and his toes. toes were sticking out of his shoes. He didn't have shoes.
Starting point is 01:01:07 That, yeah. And I mean, I'll tell you something funny. Please. You'll like this. This is Alice yesterday. So I meet the boys for ice cream after we leave here. Yeah, I haven't seen them in like a week.
Starting point is 01:01:26 And Christina had driven them when I put them in the separate car. So I put them in the car and Julian goes, why are you wearing sunglasses? I go, because it's bright out. And Julian and I have the same color eyes and then Ellison Christina do. So I go, buddy, our eyes are more sensitive to light I go we have blue eyes we have the best eyes Right and Ellis is like playing with something and he puts it down he goes what? I go Julian and I have the best eyes we have blue eyes because your eyes you have diarrhea in your eyes and I go I
Starting point is 01:02:04 go now He goes, you guys, you have diarrhea in your eyes. And I go, I go, no. I go, Julian and I have eyes that are like the sky. They're sky blue. And I see Ellis so mad that he has this toy in his hand. He throws on the ground. He goes, you know what? You have fucking cheese in your eyes. And I fall over. I'm like, what?
Starting point is 01:02:29 He goes, yeah, yeah, yeah, you got fucking cheese in your eyes. And I go, I laugh so hard that he sees how hard he's making me laugh and he sits up like this. And Christina, she goes like, what is going on? I go, I don't know. I go, I think he really has the gene. Yeah. So like, he feels threatened.
Starting point is 01:02:50 He's like, and then because it made him laugh, I go, all right, I go, you win. You win. It's over. There's no more back and forth. You win. And he goes, yeah. And then she starts to back up and he goes,
Starting point is 01:03:02 fucking cheese. He's six. He's six years old. Kids fucking go minematerial. Jesus Christ. Should we launch? Yeah, we should. Yeah, that was a great, hey, listen.
Starting point is 01:03:17 Happy birthday. Thanks, man. I love you. I love it. I'm very lucky to have you in my life. Me too. I'm being dead serious. I'm lucky to have you too, man. I love you very much.
Starting point is 01:03:25 And I honestly, it's not like, I don't think of this as like, I'm blown away. I'm still processing that there's a goddamn race, spec'd out race car here. And like, I'm really excited to do it. I'm really excited to go and try it. And I'm actually going to call that driver right now, because you're not gonna believe this. Call them now. Yeah, all right.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Love you, buddy. Love you too. Thank you. Bird time, time and bird. One goes top and swath the other. Where's the shirt? Tom tells stories and birds the machine. There's not a chance and hell that they'll keep clean. Here's what we call, two bears one cave. No scripts to bet a booze amateur,
Starting point is 01:04:10 patology, dirty jokes, ronti humor, no apologies. Here's what we call, two bears one cave. you
