What's up everybody and welcome to another Patreon episode of Flagrant 2 No Easy Buckets
Announces by Assholes Water Cooler Commentary for your sports needs.
I'm not even here yet.
What you know about that?
I'm not even here yet.
That's right.
This interview has started before me.
I'm in the past and the future in the same fucking time.
Okay?
Right now, I'm about to slide it off to Akash and Real Life Kaz.
That's right.
We got the boy Kaz back in the building.
Gonna be back.
That's him patting on the table, but I'm not with them yet.
I'm alone.
They're together.
They're going to talk about all this heart-wrenching stuff.
All right?
And once they get all that gay shit out the way, your boy's going to slide in for some
flagrancy.
All right?
But no, in all seriousness, I just got out the plane.
And so they're going to start the podcast.
I'll be back in like 20 minutes, but we just wanted to do a little intro.
I'll see you all guys soon.
Enjoy.
And, you know, put some good vibes up for Kaz being back finally pulling up you know
obviously he's done all of his other media obligations first but it's nice that it's nice
to be the last one that on his list to finally come back to so we like where what what kind of
priority we are okay and to the sadness what's up guys welcome to another episode of flagrant
to no easy buckets patreon edition water cooler commentary for your sports needs.
I'm Akash Singh doing the intro because Andrew is taking a red-eye flight from L.A. that is delayed.
Then right after this, he's flying to Russia.
But I have a very special introduction to make.
It's been a long time since our brother has been with us.
So if you guys at home can just clap as we give it up
for real life Kaz
back in the building.
Oh,
I'll clap for myself
since it's just
me and Alex
in our closet here.
Good to have our brother back,
dude.
Oh,
and it's good to be here
when Andrew's late.
It's so,
it's so poetic.
I'm like,
ah,
of all the times
to come back,
this is,
it couldn't have been
any sweeter. So, we waited as long as we could, Andrew. I didn't want ah, of all the times to come back, this is, it could have been any sweeter.
So we waited as long as we could, Andrew.
I didn't want to do this without you guys all here because, you know, obviously I've been gone for a while for, you know, reasons that I've spoke at length about on, you know, any type of social media.
On other platforms.
Yeah.
Well, you know, just Instagram or whatever but um you know before I guess we get into any type of flagrancy man I
just want to say from the bottom of my heart man it's been the literal hardest thing I've ever had
to go through my entire life and uh I'm still kind of figuring it out but like I swear to god
man like if it wasn't for this show and you guys and the support like when i talk about
support dude like i'm talking literal for there was a good four or five days period where i was
literally getting thousands upon thousands of messages from dms comments, like people hit me on LinkedIn, like Facebook, like every everywhere,
dog. Like it was, you know, it was some of the most inspiring and just like overwhelming,
like groundswell of support I've ever felt in my life, man. And I really needed it because it was
really, it's been really tough. It's still going to be pretty tough. But, man, I love you guys, especially you and Andrew and Alex, man.
You guys really held me down throughout this entire thing.
And, you know, it's wild because, like, you never really know when you start the show.
Like, when we first started this thing, like, I didn't really know.
I don't think any of us kind of really knew what it was going to turn into, but like to see, you know, and just kind of feel, you know, all the love that you guys have shown
and, and to, to myself and to Jasmine and, you know, to my entire family, man, like,
I don't, I don't even think I'd be functioning right now if it wasn't for you guys.
Cause you know, every time I even had a negative thought, I just look at my phone and just
be like another a hundred people saying like, yo, we love you.
We fuck with you.
Can't wait for you to come back.
Praise to the wifey.
Praise to you.
And I just want to say, just from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys so much, man.
We love you, man.
Shouts to the Army.
The Army provides.
They really fucking provided, man.
They fucking came through, dude.
It's unexplainable man like on top of that like
just people that i didn't even know fucked with me like that reached out to me like like fucking
puffy reached out to me like i'm talking about like a fucking like the first like three days
it was like a laundry list of just like puffy the most famous person? Who else reached out? Puff, Hasan Minhaj
said some nice things, Pusha T
you know obviously
Van from TMZ, Charlamagne
my gosh
just
I lost count after a while
bunch of
a lot of name drops
I asked him, I want to know
a lot of name drops
it was crazy though because it's like you just I asked him I want to know A lot of day drops It was
I mean it was crazy though
Because it's like
You know
It's
You just
You never know like
How many people
Like you're kind of like
Affecting
And the things that like
Really hit home the hardest
Like when I was going
Through this whole thing
It was like
So many people were just like
You know
I've been through this too
Like me and my family
Have gone through this
Brian reached out
Who was super awesome.
And, you know, I still got to kick it with him once time slows down and everything.
And so many people who reached out and was like, you know, just their own kind of testimonies of their situation when it comes to having children, building families and stuff like that.
having children, building families and stuff like that.
In addition to just, you know, people being like, yo, you guys helped me get through some of the worst times of my life.
You know, like just listening to you guys, just be yourselves and be on the podcast. So like it hurt them to know that I was going through something so painful with Jasmine.
And, you know, it's something that I'll never forget.
And, you know, I'm forever indebted to you guys, to Alex, to Eden, who's not here, Andrew, who's late for the first time.
And, you know, it's really helped me get back on my feet.
It's really helped me take a lot of life inventory and just kind of seeing, like, you know, what's important in life and like the effect you have on people and just being
able to just being so fucking grateful to do this shit.
You know what I mean?
Like just kind of talk shit with your friends twice a week.
And you know,
that,
that,
that effect that you kind of have on,
on other people's lives.
And when you're going through it,
them giving that love right back to you. So yeah, just thank you it's it's good to be back i wanted i've been feeding to come
back for a while because this is like my last bit of normalcy that i could kind of really get back
into so i'm excited man i'm happy to be back bro that's uh i think i was i've been telling everybody
this year just seems crazy everybody around me seems to be going through something whatever and then brian actually was
like man i think that's just life yeah and that is a fucking sobering reality and one idea i had
that we can try to carry forward maybe is maybe like a like i don't know if we want to call it a
grieving group because i know brian goes to these yeah we've been going to one maybe like an asshole
one would be cool i would let you obviously yeah take it. That was something I was thinking of.
Just like help people get through some shit.
The way everybody helps us get through things, maybe we could pay that forward.
Absolutely, man.
Like we spoke about this like offline.
And you're just like, you know, it's crazy that, you know, we think that, oh, man, this year has just been crazy.
It's like, nah, man, you get older.
You get to learn more
yeah like this is life this is life dog like you don't and and it kind of makes me feel crazy
because you know when you're growing up you're you just feel i feel just so grateful that i've
had to go this long without like some like real deal fucking heartbreak yeah and like in the past
like three years like father passes away a mentor
combat jack passes away i lose my daughter like consecutively you know i'm saying and it's just
like you know then you know one of my my best friends cam from from duse palooza he loses his
daughter and like my boy chris loses his father and just every single person that i know that
you you know everybody close to me has had something happen to him and it's not just like oh it's just a crazy year it's like nah bro that's what i've been thinking i you, you know, everybody close to me has had something happen to them.
And it's not just like,
oh, it's just a crazy year.
It's like, nah, bro,
we're growing up.
That's what I've been thinking.
I was like, yo, 2019, crazy.
And then you get older
and if you had a, you know,
normal, relatively normal childhood,
you probably didn't experience it that much.
But like, yo.
It's like, shit, Trump's president.
I thought, I swear to God,
I was like,
this is the universe.
It's crazy.
Trump is president
Everybody's dying
I'm trying to blame it
On that motherfucker
It's like
This motherfucking Trump
Ever since he got here
Shit's been wild
It's like nah bro
That's just life
That shit is just
Going to happen to you
And you're not
You're not immune to it
You can't
You can't protect yourself
From it
Like life is going to
Fucking happen to you
And you gotta learn
How to deal with it
And you gotta become
Either mentally tough Or physically tough And just find ways to deal because, you know, a lot of times, you know, it's no secret.
Like, we men here, man.
Like, a lot of times, like, the people are leaning on us to just kind of like have something where we can all just kind of talk to each other.
And, you know, kind of give that type of space and love that we kind of need because, you know, it'll balance it out.
It'll balance it out because we got to be men at the end of the day and just kind of put on a happy face and be strong.
I don't know what the iteration will be.
Maybe it'll be a Discord group.
Maybe it'll be meetups in New York or whatever.
But yeah, we'll try to think of something
just to pay back the love.
We appreciate y'all so much.
Absolutely, bro.
It's been tight.
It's been tight, man.
So shout out to the thousands and thousands of assholes
that have spammed the DMs.
And I really appreciate each and every one of you.
The Discord, everybody. So thank you guys. It's good to be back. spammed my the dms and i really appreciate each and every one of you the discord everybody so
thank you guys it's good to be back let's let's let's get into some shit man i know man i know
so you've been going through a lot so you probably had a lot of flagrant thoughts
oh yeah oh boy i've had an extreme flavor i had a great flagrant thought on the way here
if it's something about fucking zeke, I swear to God.
It's not Zeke.
It's not Zeke.
It's not Zeke.
But I do want to get into Zeke in a little bit.
We'll get there.
I was watching, did you watch Uninterrupted at the Shop last night?
Anybody?
I heard about Kevin Hart and Lil Nas X.
Boom, right?
So there's-
Like Twitter just fucking stampeding on Kevin Hart's already broken back.
Let me-
This shit is too much, bro.
Yo, can we get into it?
It's too much, yo. Yo, let me just say right like I you know I don't think homophobia
is cool at all I got it's funny it's not cool but I take it seriously there's humor in it I
and the cool thing about Lil Nas X is he finds the humor in it too oh bro he had one tweet that
said like one of those like look how far I've come tweets and it was like yo a year ago i was broke i was sleeping on my sister's floor i
couldn't afford to pay for my own food now i have the number one song in the country and i'm gay
it was so fucking funny dude that was hilarious right but like with that it's like okay so
i don't think homophobia is cool at all but but the one thing I don't like more than homophobia is people that are just ignorant of other people, like why people get to homophobia.
Like, instead of just like writing people off and being like, oh, man, you know, I guess there was this thing with them in a barbershop.
And, you know, if you haven't seen it on HBO or HBO On Demand, go check it out.
So Lil Nas X and my man Paul Rivera, who's helping host the show, was asking Lil Nas X, like, you know, why did you choose now to come out?
And Kevin Hart, you know, who's, you know, the timing of this shit is kind of spectacular with everything going on with him and his life.
And the Dave Chappelle special when he's talking about the dollhouse over the head, if he had a gay son or whatever.
You can tell Kevin Hart's trying to be like, oh, you came out as gay.
Like, it's cool.
Yeah, that's what he's trying to do.
You can tell he's trying, right?
He's trying to say being gay is okay.
Yes, that's what he's trying to do.
But as you can tell, anybody who's followed this man's career, you can tell that the man
is trying to grow from his mistakes.
He already lost out on the fucking Oscars because of shit that he's tweeted
and said and all this other shit.
And it's not to really absolve him of anything he said.
But my thing is like, yo, if you're supposed to be the super woke warrior,
this person who's supposed to enlighten people on other people's way of life,
don't just shit on somebody for seeing what they're trying to do
and being like,
oh, this homophobic bastard.
This is why.
I'm seeing people saying like,
this is why he got,
this is what happened to him
when his broken back and shit.
I'm like, are you fucking kidding me?
Can we talk about the realest shit
that's ever been said by a celebrity
and we all dogpiled him at the time?
But when LeBron said,
after he lost in 2011 to the
mavericks i get to wake up tomorrow and be lebron james yes you have to wake up and be you and that
sucks for you that's the realest fucking thing a celebrity has ever said and that's why all you
guys are hating on kevin hart on twitter because you gotta be stupid fucking useless you you still
gotta be you and kevin hart has gets to wake up and be like the most successful
living, breathing comedian on earth.
That's when LeBron became the goat to me right there.
That's the greatest.
Because it's the most honest thing
any athlete has ever said
in the history of sports.
He had to,
and this is honestly where I think Kevin Hart,
when you get that big,
this is the problem,
is you have to,
he can't sit there and have a real conversation.
And we've done it,
and I'm one ten millionth of as famous as kevin hart is where you're like oh i gotta
think about what how i'm gonna be portrayed and i need to show that i'm not homophobic because
people think i'm blah blah blah so kevin hart doesn't hear a little nas x doesn't get to have
a real conversation because he's too famous so he has to be like oh let me just prove i'm not
homophobic yeah yeah and the thing with that is it's like with Kevin Hart, he's what, 30-something years old, almost 40?
He's trying to walk 40-something.
He's had most of these thoughts in his head for at least 20-something years, right?
He's already been on record of saying like, okay, it was kind of fucked up the way I was thinking.
I'm trying to learn.
I'm trying to be better.
record of saying like okay it was kind of fucked up the way i was thinking you know i'm trying to learn i'm trying to be better and nobody nobody just kind of like goes out of their way to be
like hey man this is why this is wrong don't just shit on the dude don't just shit on the
motherfucker for for the way this guy thought for the past couple of years like for his for most of
his life really like most people are who they are by the time they're 20 especially by the time
they're 30 right so you're trying to ask somebody not saying like oh you know he's homophobic so
just let him be homophobic i'm just saying like once you get to some a certain age in that
situation and i don't know if anybody tried it on the show but the explanation is just hey man
here's why i would be scared remember how you used to be at 20 or you've talked about how much
you've grown there's people much more hateful than you even exactly and you know that
you grew up in North Philly
so like you know what it is
that's what he said
he hit him with like
bro like you grew up
in the black community
you understand why
what I had to go through
you understand what it was like
to be a gay black kid
in a black neighborhood
and you know
and I get him on that
but at the same time
it's like fuck
I have no problem
with Lil Nas X
coming at him
I have no problem
with what Kevin Hart said
it's the fucking groundswell of the fucking, and I love, I love black Twitter.
Trust me.
It's done so much for me in my entire life.
But these motherfuckers, yo.
Give this motherfucker a break.
He's sitting there in a hospital bed right now with a broken fucking back.
Sit in.
You think it was on the camera You're always on the camera!
Get him on the camera!
I'm just adding a little thing I heard.
So, Sharla was at this recording.
Yes, right, right, right.
And apparently, in that room,
these guys were fucking wasted.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, that was somebody else's on Twitter.
They're clearly wasted.
But like, wasted, wasted.
So, we're seeing Kev's real real true reactions like he's fighting
back like trying to be good but you can tell he's a little yeah he's not always
genuine reaction that he had i heard they were fuck oh my god keep sitting in bro Where you going? I'm staying bro Andrew will be here in a minute I gotta drop
Andrew will be here in a minute
Alright word
But I mean
It's funny to me
Cause it's like
Dog
How else is this
Motherfucker gonna learn
Unless you like
At least help
The motherfucker
Like do you
When I see this shit
With the social justice warriors
And black twitter
Sometimes kind of
Going in on people
For being
Not willfully ignorant But like Just just, you know, trying.
You could tell he's trying to understand Lil Nas X.
You've got to pretend Black Twitter is amazing because they fuck with you.
I don't.
I don't, man.
Y'all are fucking annoying, bro.
Sit down.
Stop finding outrage in everything.
It's like a fucking beehive just for outrage.
Oh, gosh.
The beehive.
I don't know if that's a beast
you really want to come at.
The beehive?
No, black Twitter.
No, I'm not going to say
they're awful
because I'm afraid of them,
but they're annoying.
They're annoying?
I don't know they're annoying.
They are annoying.
They are.
Oh, my God.
And I feel like I miss so much shit
like not being on the show.
So, like, between that
and the fucking, like,
the Kaepernick and Jay-Z shit, too,
where it's like, dog.
Wait, can I give a flagrant thought?
Go for it.
Please.
Please.
Listen, I read this story about this guy.
I remember the Cowboys drafted him in like the fifth round a few years ago.
His name is Ryan Russell.
Okay.
He came out as being bisexual.
Another football player said he's gay or bisexual.
And I think about Jason Collins saying he's gay.
And all these guys don't have a career.
And Lil Nas X Has a career
But right now
It's just one
Fucking incredible song
He's got two
Panini's doing alright
I don't even know
What a
Panini is sandwich
That shit is a
Sandwich downstairs
I ain't never heard
No fucking body
Talking about a panini
Unless they putting
In lunch orders
I don't know
That every single person
That says they're gay
Is gay lunch orders i don't know that every single person that says they're gay is gay
