Pat and Dylan break the news. Nick is leaving Another Podcast Network.

Well, this is going to be awkward, huh? Big time. This is going to be super awkward, huh? Yeah. The sleuths were right. You guys were so on it. I know. Such a difficult needle to find in the haystack.

They wanted answers, Dylan. Unfortunately, I think we're going to give them the answers, some of which they didn't want. Yes, very sad news. Nick has fled to Mexico to go find Eliza, and he said he's not coming back for a while. Right. Truth be told, Nick is no longer going to be on the show,

and it's something that was mutual. It's something that we, none of us, all three of us, didn't want to have to do. And we've been doing this for five and a half years dylan yeah and i've been friends you we've all been friends with nick for seven yeah no it's a huge bummer i mean nick was um you know i'll always remember the me and nick were brothers in arms at corolla i mean we have love for everybody over there but me and nick really had a kinship working in the janitor's closet in the back. We adore Nick.

And when we all decided, it felt, you know, it felt like an anvil. It felt very heavy, very yucky. But, you know, as this show has grown, the amount of work that requires the shows and the episodes to get out to you guys has just- Increased. Yes. It's increased quite a bit. Yeah. So just to put some things in perspective, because obviously you guys want answers.

All we've done is talk openly about our lives for the last five years. So I think we owe you some explanation. We will- You sound so sick right now. I'm broken hearted, man. So here's the deal. This is the best way I can put it. And I don't want to put words in Nick's mouth. So this is coming from my mouth.

Think about family. You love your family. And then think about having siblings. You love them. You laugh together. And they bug the living shit out of you we are family and it's all three of us and that is the best way i can explain it but as dylan it was compounded also by increased workload over the last year because the show got popular yeah so we all work

you know 40 to 60 hours a week and then we get in here and record. So as the show got more popular, as the fans got more Pavlovian and drooling. It's their fault. I wanted to say that we blame nobody but the fans. You did this. It is 100% the fans' fault. You broke us up. Yeah, 100%.

Now, the stress that goes into trying to build this network on top of the other things that we do doesn't necessarily create the most balanced work-life balance. So, you know, we are all in agreement with whatever any of us needs to do to have a happier life. Now, we love Nick. Nick's one of the funniest people that we know. He helped build this brand. So we want you guys to do everything you can to support him. And he's got some new stuff coming that we'll talk about in a second. but you know, we would also ask you guys

to please be patient with us. Um, we're moving forward trying to do this thing without one of the musketeers and we've never done that before. So, um, as the next couple of months go by with us trying to figure out what we're doing moving forward, we promise to... Be nice to us. Please, please be supportive. We understand that it's going to be not the same. I can't stand that. It's not the same. No, of course it's not the same.

One of the guys isn't there anymore. God damn it. No, it's not the same. So please, please support us over the next couple of months. We're going to try our best to make these shows. You know, I don't even want to say try. These shows will be hilarious, extremely funny. We're going to bring you guys the same entertainment that we always do, except not the same.

But yeah, because there's one of us missing. It's not the same. Yeah, I would just say to be patient with us and to recognize that all three of us are going through a tough patch right now. And we need, uh, the fan support more than ever. Yes. And,

um, you know, just, uh, I don't want to make any promises, but there is a future where the three of us are potting again. It's just right now. Absolutely.

We need a break.
