Well, I mean what happened? Everything I do in the last three days is people going, not as good as Bobby T or Bobby T, Bobby T... Because of how good the character was! Yeah, that's just a very funny character Sam played. I don't remember why we had You Not Listen. I think it was more just a general joke. Have they said that to you? Yeah, and then people have been like, Courtney who works with us has been like,

hey, please don't watch the reel that comes out tomorrow. Yeah, that's because I think there was like a bit of a joke about Broden not, why was, I can't remember why. Look I can't fully remember why, it was last week. It was a long time ago for us, right? We've all got busy lives but I'm on stage and doing this Bobby, getting Bobby tea. You were heckled? People yell it out, where's Bobby tea? Where's Bobby tea? So I think the thing was they were like, because I showed them my character, and they're like, Broden would love this.

We want to show Broden, but we don't want to spoil it for Broden beforehand. Yes. Oh, we want to be in the room. Because, can I say? It is an incredible character. Have you seen the response to Bobby T? Yeah, I've seen the response everywhere.

It's been all over the subreddits, it's been all over the socials, it's been at my live shows invading my personal life. Wow. People have been talking about Bobby T everywhere. Because it's definitely worth... I wasn't expecting this big of a reaction. I loved Bobby T, right? But I wasn't expecting this big of a reaction and it's really... have we... like I think maybe Judas, obviously they love Judas. Oh, you play Bobby T? I play Bobby T. Yeah, they love Judas.

They love Kaodoi, obviously. There's a lot of characters, but I can't... It's very funny. It's crazy how much it's like the subreddit. Why are they heckling you about Bobby T? What's that got to do with anything? I guess they just fucking love the character so much. My mum was in and she cried.

She was like, why do they hate you so? Oh no. No. No really? This is a joyful occasion. You get to meet the new, like, one of the new characters in the stable of Donna Carrick. So is this the whole idea you've been brought back to present me with Bobby T? Is that the idea? Is that the idea? Yeah. That's a lot of pressure to put on a character. Yeah, because I guess it's just... I mean, I'm just looking now.

It's really resonated. Like, people... Who's this? Ather underscore system on the subreddit did a post about Bobby T's future. And they wrote, I feel like this character is definitely going to be in the next Netflix TV series. Especially if it's a sequel to Big Ol' House of Fun. Bobby would fit so well into that style of show. And people are saying, you know, John, John J. M. Jr. on Reddit said, I'll be upset if

they don't. The Aunty Donna comments on the podcast I'm just reading through now. Yeah. Bobby T was the best character of last year and instantly relatable and funny. It really. But Bobby T was a real heavy hitter of a character tremendous work from Sam. I wasn't sure if I liked Bobby T but honestly. No it is this good. I know you're probably feeling funny about it. Afterwards he was feeling funny about it but no the character is genuinely one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Top tier episode Bobby T. I can't believe Sam did Bobby T. Not a year, we recorded it last week, we don't bank. Look, so this is from a youthenism. Are you excited to see Bobby T? Youthenism? I think that you came in and did little to no or a bad character and then you've gone now we're going to build a whole second episode out of hyping it up and then you're going to do a small character and then it'll be like, I'll be like, that's it. Well, Repulsive Liar 1, I would say disagrees with you on Reddit. He says, Bobby T is hilarious. One of the best new characters I've heard recently with a little work. It's genius. I don't think you've ever had, like me and Mark have, I don't think I've ever lost it more on a podcast. No. So like, surely if we're loving it as much as we were, then the audience is gonna get behind it. I guess so. But you know, you never know. I don't do this that often. I know, I know.

You think there's zero Bobby T? I think the episode is about the conflation, the groupthink, the fan fallout. It's more of an artistic statement. You think people would heckle your show? Your solo? Yes, I do. In the way that a passing jab from Mish now means that anytime I wear a collared fucking shirt people say Broden dresses different.

In the way that these toxic, viral, vile, incel loser boys yell at me down the street. I don't think our audience is that smart. I think they are base. Is that the quote? Can we get that on a t-shirt? I would know, but truly, you know what they're like. Our audience isn't that smart. I don't think that. I think, I think you're being a little crazy, bro.

Because, because wouldn't it be the case if they would, if this was a fake, if this was faked, wouldn't it be the, like, I feel like they would be very rote and you would just have like one, the fact that there's such a varied response. I don't understand the people that don't like Bobby T. That's crazy. That's fine. You don't like something, you don't like something. It was weird at first. At the football with Hamish Blake, biggest podcast in Australia, and a person came up to him and said some line and he had to get up and deeply bow. And you can do this to Hamish or Andy at any point, apparently, or they give you coins or something. Right. What's the words? What are the words that are added? I mean, a million people know what it is.

Right. But I don't. But what I want to take the opportunity to say is that Bobby T, somewhat unrelated, I think putting Bobby T on Brodard is odd, just because, but the clothes thing, it makes me think, I think every now and then, because you know, I get it sometimes, you get it sometimes, Mark, every now and then,

people forget that we're 12 years deep into a friendship and we're riffing with mates and just because it's okay for Mish, a dear old friend of Broden's, to joke about his clothing and just because we've invited you in for that brief moment doesn't mean you have the mission. You don't know Broden, you don't know what he feels about things, you don't know where the day he's having, you're not his friend. So don't be mean to Broden about his clothes, Mark about his stuff, Zach about his things. Because we know there's a line and we do aftercare and we check in and I don't know you.

I don't know you, you're not my friend. I pretend to be your friend to take your money. So when you see us on the street, don't be mean to us. You can say hello, nice to meet you. You can get a photograph. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll probably be fired. But if you're, one more thing. If any of you insult my friend, Mark or Broden ever again.

I was just like, oh, I'm in character and I'm writing a script. And it was like, this is, I haven't had this for like 10 years. So don't heckle me. I'm gonna leave whether you're allowed to heckle Broden up to Broden. Broden, do you invite hecklers to your solo show? No. No. So don't heckle Broden, don't heckle Zach.

If Mark, when Mark does anything, you are free to heckle him. Yep. As you do when I'm just walking down the street. But what's going to happen now if they're rude about it? Zach is going to cut off your fucking nose. I'm going to dry it out, I'm going to drain it of its blood, dry it out, keep it in a box. Well, Sam, we've brought you here to, I guess, reveal to Broden what this character is, why it's resonated so much. Can I just quickly say I love the fans, love you, could not be here without you.

I've made some jokes today, but they're all just jokes. Yes, we would be, where would we be without the fans? I love the fans, I love that you get behind staff. We have such a wonderful, positive community. Sure, I have threatened to cut off some of your noses, but that is largely a joke. I love you, love the fans, and I love our community, and I love the way you support us,

I love the way you support comedians that we love. He's bringing it back. Yeah. But they've already switched off, Zac. They're already gone. They may have. They may have felt threatened. I think I went a little hard at them.

At points it was pretty rough. I mean, you said that they were not smart. You said that, yeah? No, I think you said that. Yeah, no, so much. I think we've all gone pretty hard on our fans. Sam's the only one that's come out of this clean. He's invented a great new character and he hasn't gone for the fans.

I worry that this has been built up so much that the funniest thing in this room now to do is to not show me the character, but I'd really like to see the character. You will see the character. I think genuinely that- It's very good.
