What about, uh, is she have any words yet, Duckabee? Yeah, she's got close to 30 or so. What in the world that she says out loud with her mouth? What, like what? Well she says, she hands the remote. Starting point is 00:02:10 What? Oh, what? Oh, it wants to watch? It's time to watch something. And then she goes, let do, that's her singing, frozen, that's what it was. Is she interested in business development? Now, she's not been properly trained. We were wondering, we wanted to get her some guidance in that area. Right away, the sooner you start a child, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:35 in starting business plans, and what you do is you do, make her do something that she feels you get approve her for like stand her on a box and and have her sing a song and then you applaud and then you create a craving for for something that's marketable marketable and then pretty soon she's just pitching your stuff here and you know hither and then I mean that sounds great to me a lot of kids start their first business would be a lemonade stand or something like that. Is that a good way to go or you think there's better? Well, I think it depends on whether you were on a busy grass walk or I remember when I was a child we had, we were in a rural area and so there weren't many people passing by, so we had, we to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the their.. their their their their their their. their their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their a their one a their one one one one one one one one. their. their their. the the touche. touche. touche. toda. try. today. try. today. toe. the toe. Wea. their the their passing by so we had we had to sell the whole picture. Oh to one person. One person. And one person was game for that?
Starting point is 00:03:32 Well my father came home at a certain point he said you guys got to get off the streets and he gave us 20 bucks. Oh he bought the picture. We went in for the night. Wow. Okay well that's good lesson in business right there I don't know what the the lesson is but the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the whole. Wow. Okay, well, that's good lesson in business right there. I don't know what the lesson is, but there is one here. Well, that it's, you hope a loved one is frightened enough for your safety, but they hand you cash. There you go. I think that has guided you in many ways actually. Hey, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, that's, that's tha, tha, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th is is is th is, tha is. threat is. threat is. threat is. things. things. things. thea is. thea is. thea is. thea is. there We're talking about Bonanza, God damn it. This is Bananasa for Bananza. Hello, friend. Come on in.
Starting point is 00:04:09 The gate is open wide. I'm here with the, uh, Mutt Taylor, as always. How do. Amity Sleverson is always. Hello. Okay. Today we're talking about episode, nope. Season 2, the today of Reckoning. This was a hell of an episode, brother. This is the darkest episode of Banan's I've seen. You think it was the darkest? I think. A lot, did tak place at night a lot of it? Is it what you mean?
Starting point is 00:04:34 No, no, I just mean heaviest and theme and content. Oh, yes. And they got beneath above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above above the eye. Did you see the smoky eye that was put on the indigenous brother? Oh, Logoos? Yeah, he had a lot of that. He had, it was like he was doing a sort of a wonderful, yet it was just a very, almost, I wanna say hip hop. Oh, 80s, sort of very Egyptian. Oh yeah it's like when
Starting point is 00:05:09 Batman takes off his cowl and you see he's put makeup around his eyes to further make sure that you don't see any flesh. Well he doesn't do that. That gets done to him on his way down the pole. Oh that's right. It's one of the something that happens on the way down the pole. Okay yeah well Ricardo Montelban was in that that. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that's. that's. that's. that's. Oh. that's. Oh. that's. Oh. That's. that's. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. That's. That's. Oh. That's. Oh. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That. That's. That. That's. That's. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. that. that. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. that's. the. the. the. the something that happens on the way down the pole. Uh, okay, yeah, well, Ricardo Montalban was in this episode. How about that Montalban? Wow. Me, I'm on Cara de Céboya. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:05:34 They call me onion face. That's what I, because... Do they call you onion face? Yes. They do call you onion face if you are white. Oh, and you speak Spanish because he was a Spanish-accented indigenous man. Yeah. And did you know that Banach isn't an Indian tribe? I did not know that. It's actually a type of bread.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Well, hang on now. That's right. It's only a type of bread. Banach sure doesn't sound Indian. It sounds very English or German. It's a th th Scotland and Ireland, but also they have it, there's Indian breads that have it like fry bread. It can be considered bannock as well, but there's no tribe! Well now, okay. They call them the bread loaves. Hang on now. It didn't even look it up. There's a bit of a Romeo Juliet scenario here where this is a woman named Hatoia and she is a show show.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Now that's an Indian tribe I was breaking the Native American tribe. And he is from the Bannock tribe which is a very violent and warlike tribe. And this is not the first time they they they they they they they they they they've they've they've they've they've they've their their their the first time. But this isn't the first time they've talked about the banics on this show. I know they've talked about them before, but you're saying there's no such Native American time? Well, no, it's unless they're made of bowl weevils and brambles, because that's what the flour they had to use is they had to use it from, yeah, grasses from the plains. Well, what I understand to have happened is that, yes, there was these people come over from Scotland and they had a kind of a bread they like to eat.
Starting point is 00:07:09 It was like a fried bread or something. They called it Bannock. And then they run into these native peoples and they say that these native peoples is, somehow they're eating a similar thing. They make it themselves out the on the planes and it looks to them like Bannock, they say to them they say to them, hey man, these people eat Bannock. So why don't we go ahead and call them the Bannock people after this bread that we love so much, which is a very nice compliment, you know, and maybe these people had something else that they preferred to call them themselves. I don't know, but anyway, so the the hea. So, so hea. So, so hea. So, so hea. So, so he th. So, so he th. So, so he th. So, so he th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that, the that, th. th. th. th. th. the bann. the bann. the bann. the bann. the bann. the bann. the bann. the b. the b. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. th. the. the th. th. the th. th. th. th. they. they. th. th. th. the. the. they. th. they. th. th. they. th. they. th. they. they. they. they. they. they're. they. they. they. But I don't think he was, I don't think we were meant to feel that he was made of brea- Can we calm the bun cakes for the rest of the episode? Let's do that.
Starting point is 00:07:48 He is. Do you notice too she was making bread and he didn't like having bread? I know it did come up. He did say, you want me to eat bread instead of meat. think so. Oh, that puts a different light on it. That certainly does. Oh my. All right, so it's the episode called Day of Reckoning and part of what we're reckoning with is the bun cakes versus the show shonies. This family feud. It's a family feud. Yeah, this episode was dark and it was full of all kinds of interesting thoughts about indigenous peoples. Boy, there's a lot to unpack, as they say, but before we get into any of that, let's talk about the original air date of this episode. Was October the 22nd of 1960?
Starting point is 00:08:38 The number one movie in the country, remember last year was the dark at the top of the stairs. It was last week, October the 15th, 1960. Well, guess who's back? It's old Ben Her. Wow. Back on top again? People went, people said, okay, I will take a break from seeing Ben Her every weekend and check out this other movie, but then they'd say, damn it, right back to Ben Her. What is it about? Okay, I did it not too long ago but it is about where where we were we're in the time of Jesus. Oh I should know that. Yeah. Zero? Zero. Amongst the Romans and Ben her gets crossways with a powerful Roman by accidentally dropping a roof tile on him. And Ben her is real like Jesus or is he not real? He is Santa. He is real. No, he's well he's a man. He's just a mortal man and and he drops, he's excited to see this Roman passing through.
Starting point is 00:09:33 But unfortunately his roof tiles are loose and he drops one on him. I think is what happens excited to see this Roman passing through, but unfortunately his roof tiles are loose and he drops one on him, I think is what happens. He gets in trouble. But interestingly, his life as a man in trouble intersects with that of Jesus, but in a way to where, for whatever reason, they never show Jesus's face. Like you'll see him in the background or you'll see it's, so in other words, it's like this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this this the their their their their their their their their their their their their their life's their life's their their their life, their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. he's it's so in other words it's like this guy's life. Mike Blowfelt. This guy's life is being led alongside that of the Jesus and it has things to do in common with it but it's not. Is this the Chuck Heston movie I'm trying to yeah. Is it like a spin-off of Jesus? Of the Ten Commandments? Or the spin off of the Bible, like, oh, this is what you like the Bible, then you might like Ben her.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Something like that, I think it is that. That's probably what it is. Now, a fella died making this film, right? Someone died, oh, in the cherry race. A real fella died. Yeah, I think it might have been one of them things where he had to, yeah, as a prisoner, he's got a ride to chariots, but he did the thing where all the prisoners get together on it. I started writing romance, just romances, but they're all biblically-based. Oh, that's great.
Starting point is 00:10:56 And so, and it's, it's a series, you can find it in any of your major bookstores. Really? Yes. You're kidding me. It's called, Christ on a Cracker. And then it, but because you, you, That's the name of the series. That's the name of the series. And then within it, you've got an individual title. And it's always the guy, it's always Jesus, butthen he's the cover is so beautiful the cover is very beautiful it covers usually with somebody like me you know like a little meat on her bones and then but an older woman being swept off her feet by a
Starting point is 00:11:37 very thin ripped Jesus just ripple I mean he died young so he had that benefit of going out looking good. That's right. Well, then he came back. Right. He came again. Ah, he sure did. Hey, did you have a real life model?
Starting point is 00:11:53 Because what's that guy's name? Fabio? Did you have a real life model for your books and did you get to know him? Well, I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I he I he I he I he I had I had I had I had he. he. he. he. he. he. he. he. He he. He he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he. He came he he came he he came he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he. He he. He he he he he he came. He he came. He he came to to to to to to to to to to to to to he came to he came he came he came he came he he come over and he's he said, you know, that he needed some experience. I said, you should be in modeling. And but Christian modeling. And he said, okay. And then I said, oh no.
Starting point is 00:12:23 You can model for food. And then I said, you can model for food. And then I said, you, what I have is Kit Kats. We get them, come Costco, we get Kit Katz in a bag. And I gave him a bag of Kit Katz, and then, and he just, he stood for me and he modeled for, for hours on end. Can I ask Amy, he's a life model so he disrobed completely, I'm assuming? Of course. Oh, really? You've got to get in there and get all the nooks and crannies.
Starting point is 00:12:53 And then you paint over it the clothes. Oh, I see. Because everyone who looks at art, you know if the artist has painted the genitalia underneath the clothing. I did not know that. You th. You th. You th. You th you. You th you. You that. You th you. You th you. You th you th you that. th you th you th you th you th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. tho. thoes thoes. thoes. thoes. thoes. thoes. thoes. thoes. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. Oh, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. theee. thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo has painted the genitalia underneath the clothing. I did not know that. You do, you can tell. I did. Jesus is a Jew, but he's also the first Christian, so was he circumcised? Yeah. Yes. He was. He was. Did you do the painting yourself? Yes. You did? I didn't know that you was an artist. Well, I'm not very good. Okay. But that doesn't stop you from having confidence. Sure. So the book covers, if I go to say B. Dalton, I'm going to find Christ on a cracker and there's a book cover painted by you of a college student
Starting point is 00:13:40 who was painted nude with a woman who has a little meat on her. And she's, but he also has like a what a loincloth type of deal painted over his. And then I'm in a tunic with a cat on my lap. But you could really see the contours of his, you know, twig and berries. Yeah. You can tell. Yeah. And then it's just, you know, um, yeah, it's just titles that you would enjoy. You the the the th. You th. You th.. th. th. th. th. th. the th. the okay. Yeah, and then it's just you know Yeah, it's just titles that you would enjoy See cry, you know like Christ says no
Starting point is 00:14:14 Christ no, that's the first title Christ no And then and but but then they're behind the scenes is that Christ says yes And you say yes, that I ain't gonna wait a minute now. I didn't even I didn't even put it. I didn't even put I'm the the the the the the the the the the I the I the I the I the the I the I the the I the I the I the I the I the I the I the the I the I'm the the I'm the the I the I the the I they. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'm they. Yeah, I they's I they's they's they's I they's their. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I they. I the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they're behind the scenes is that Christ says yes. And you say yes. But hang on, wait a minute now. I didn't even put, all right, these are romance novels involving Jesus. But that's the ultimate free song is, is wanting to, but not being able to. Oh, I see. But you can't, but he can't, but he can't, but you can't, but you can't. But you can't. But you can't. the, the, the, th. th. th. th. the, th. But you can't. But you can't. the the the the the the the the the th. But you can't. the the the the the the the the th. the the to to to to. the. the. th. to. the the the the the to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. And. And. And. And, is is is is. And, is. And the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. the. the. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. the the the the the not being able to. Oh, I see. Oh, I see. Oh, I see.
Starting point is 00:14:45 But you can, but you can, but you can't, but you can't, but he can. But do you? And it's just, yes. So in these books, it's a will they, won't they, between someone with meat on her bones and Jesus Christ. Man, oh man, you gotta read these books. It sounds fantastic. That sounds pretty good.
Starting point is 00:15:07 People are gonna love these. Boy, oh boy. All right, so check out, Christ on the Cracker at the bookstore. So, okay, Ben, her number one country song continues to be Alabama by Cowboy Copas, godda, that's the case for most of 1960. Have you looked ahead, are we we we getting a new song or a new film? Uh, I would say not really.
Starting point is 00:15:28 But the number one song on the billboard charts does change around a bit. This time we've got Save the Last Dance for Me by the Drifters. This is a song where the singer of the song says, go ahead and dance with all the men you want. But just know that at the end of the night the night, the night, the night, the night, the night, the night, the night, the night, the the the the the the you want but just know that at the end of the nudge it's you and me and I think dance is a metaphor we all know that yeah last dance yeah the horizontal boogie this guy is sitting there I'd like to picture a wedding man is sitting there watching his girl dancing with person after person he doesn't get up he doesn't stand up he just he just to say I'm gonna watch you the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the wedding, the man is sitting there watching his girl dancing with person
Starting point is 00:16:05 after person. He doesn't get up, he doesn't stand up, he just says, I'm going to watch you with everybody else and you understand the way I'm looking at you that at the end of the night it's me that's going to be giving it to you. I'm gonna come calling for my sloppy 20 seconds. That's right. That's very sexy. And then, as was often the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the case the the case the the case the the the case the the th. th. the the th. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. He th. He th. He th. He th. He th. He th. He th. He th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. He's th. th. th. th. th. than. than. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. ta. I than. I than. I than. I, right? That's very sexy. And then, as was often the case at this period time, there was an answer song to this. Somebody? Yeah. Another answer song by a woman named Demita Joe. But her answer song is titled, I'll save the last dance for you,
Starting point is 00:16:43 and it's very much a response from the woman to the man where she just says yes that's that's our arrangement correct I confirmed I thought we already covered it's it's a most of times an answer song is to correct the record or something like but this one is just yes correct exactly I will say for like see you then that's nice it is nice. They're in a cord. Yes. Yeah. Now this is didn't take it. It happened the next day, but I have to talk about it because I never heard about before.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I wonder if you have to. You ever hear about October the 23rd 1960, the whiskey. You ever hear this? I don't think so. Here we go. A woman. th. th. F. Kennedy with whiskey while he was riding in an open convertible, then tossed the drinking glass into the car. Kennedy wiped his face, picked up the tumbler, said calmly, here's your glass and handed it back. No arrests were made.
Starting point is 00:17:37 And then the Wikipedia entry about this, then goes on to helpfully point out, Kennedy would later be shot and killed while riding in an open convertible in Dallas. Nobody ever thought of her as a possible suspect? Seems like it worked with the whiskey glass. Was the whiskey glass? Was that in some sort of xenophobic thing about? About the Irish? Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:58 You mean a very accurate statement about the Irish and their drinkings? Well, what's funny is he had to spend the rest of night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night the night night the night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night night the the the night night night night to to to to to to to to to to their. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to. to to to to their. their. their. their................... I... I. I. I.. I. It. It. It. It. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's....................................... to. to. to. to. to. the rest of the night smelling like a distillery. Yeah, I bet that was nothing new. Starting point is 00:18:53 But I like, you make a good point, history has forgotten the name of this woman that did that. Really? I'll bet conveniently. Starting point is 00:19:26 Oh well. I mean name all the classic bass. I think you'll have heard of the bands that they was in, even though these, it sounds like a rotten music to me, just garbage. The one fellow was named Chris Kirkwood and he was the basis for a band called The Meat Puppets. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yes. And he was in a, it says here, hardcore punk band, Bad Brains. Oh yes, yes, that's one of the first black punk rock bands and a fantastic punk rock band. Oh really?
Starting point is 00:20:11 Bad brains. That's weird because I know Jennifer Darryl from the band Good Heart and she plays tenor guitar. Get out of here. That's true. How strange, what a strange world we're living in. I wonder when she was born. But these two guys is bass players. Starting point is 00:20:27 because I wanted to find two bass solos and play them Nick Beck, but it just was too much work. It's hard enough to find a bass. I play the bass. You do? You did. But with my mouth. That's beautiful. I admit that does sound like the bass, but I don't know that you can say that you can,
Starting point is 00:20:54 can you say she plays the bass, you're a musician? I play the bass. Well, yeah, sure, I say we'll make a special exception. I don't know that you can say that I also play the trumpet. Oh. Boop, ba, bup, ba, bup, bribb. Buh, bar, bribb. Oh, you're shooting your guns again. I wouldn't mind hearing the bass and trumpet together.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Yeah, let's hear a little base trumpet. Oh, wait. Oh wait, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, boom, boom, bong, pur, purr, purr, pur, pur, pa, pur, pa-pah, boom, go, go, gong, gong, gong. Excuse me, I think there's a pigeon fat. It does, it does seem to be attracting birds, your song. Well, that was beautiful. Yeah, it was like Bobby McFern, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, it that, it that, it that, it that, it was that, that, that, it that, it that, it that, it that, it that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th. th. Starting point is 00:21:49 Everything's going to be over there. I play so many instruments. I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, Polly, poly, polymus. Polly, mues. Wow. Here's a th about Chris Kirkwood. I guess he did a fair number of drugs. He's got a brother in the band too. Oh that's right. Kurt Kirkwood or something. Chris Kirkwood says here, what got into an argument with a woman over a parking space at a post office. Yeah let's get some background. It was like Seinfeld routine here. Keep going. Well a security guard got involved in the scuffle and that escalated because Kirkwood grabbed the security guard's the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band. the band the band band the band the band. the band. the band the band the band the band the band too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too too the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band the band band band band band band band band band band band band band band. the band band band. the band. the band. the band. the band. the band. the band. the band. the band. the the band. the the the band. the band. the the band. the band. the band. the band. the the band. the band. the the the band. Well, a security guard got involved in the scuffle and that escalated
Starting point is 00:22:25 because Kirkwood grabbed the security guard's baton and started hitting him with it. Get hit with your own baton. I guess he didn't know the security guard had a gun and he pulled it out and shot old Chris Kirkwood in the back. After which Kirkwood had to plead guilty to assault with a deadly weapon because of the baton thing, and he did go to jail. While he's in jail, he meets a fellow by the name of Jerry Pozen, who had been a drummer for the band Steppin' Wolf. That kind of fun.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Yeah. Oh no, she does drums too! Wow. Well, the two of them started up a prison band. No kidding. Yeah. When was this? This was 2004, 6, 9 type of area.
Starting point is 00:23:14 Somewhere in there. Okay. Because he was, you know, he was released in 2005. So yeah, 2,045. Well, he didn't do a lot of time for shooting. No, he did. Boy, he didn't do a lot of time for shooting. I guess he got shot. He got shot. He was only sentenced to a number of months.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I'm a little worried about it. I'm not sure she's where she's doing it anymore. Somehow she's ended up in the corner ceiling. We're all looking at her up there again. Come on down now. Hey, that's like, you ever see that movie Hereditary or Brother? You ever see Hereditary? No, I don't think I can recommend it. It's too strange. I don't have a TV anymore. Oh, no. No, we just do puppet shows. Oh dear. Your husband do puppet shows. That's right. One for each other or at the same time? Either or. Do you have th. Do to have to have the to have to have to have to have their to have their. Do you have their. Do you have their. Do you have their. Do you have their. Do you have their. Do you have their. Do you have any favorite television shows that you now do as puppet shows?
Starting point is 00:24:07 Well, we heard about one show, succession. And so we've been trying to do it. You can't have the job. You can't have the job. But father, I want the job. No, you can't. But I can have the job. No, you can't, but I can have the job. No, you can't. You're telling me you've never seen this show? You never, you've never seen the actual one. I've just heard about it. Well, that is a dead ringer for it.
Starting point is 00:24:34 I've seen it a couple of times. Right, that's right. I'm gonna do other, I'm not gonna be nice. Yes, I love you because you're the nicest. There's the one I love the most. Now what do the puppets look like? It's just my hands. Oh, you don't even have pupply. My husband puts socks on his hands, but I told him the note, don't even bother. That's a good way to stretch out your socks.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I'm with you. Well that sounds fantastic. I love, do you draw faces on your hands at all or not even? I could. I mean, I didn't even think of that. Really? No need. It sounds like you guys are having a good time. Yeah. Wow. You got that right. Speaking of good times, shall we talk about some of the fun facts from this episode? As I said, Ricardo Montauban is in this episode. Ricardo Montaubon, he had, he said, I never turned down any jobs. He said that explicitly, I will take any damn job. You can't act to act are in today those cines and series television. That's how he would have said it. In his native language of his Spanish. Kisas. Kisas I guess. He's from Mexico, that fella is. And he would
Starting point is 00:26:02 take any job, which is probably how he came to be in Wantantan, the dog who saved Hollywood. Not Renton, 10. Well, Wantan. When the first road it was Renton and then the Renton estate got some lawyers together, and so it became Wantan-Ton. Wow, is it part Tonton? Part Wanton. Okay. May I say that Ricardo Montau Bonn is tonton? Part tom-ton, part wanton. Okay. May I say that Ricardo Montauban is the best actor we've ever seen on the Bonanza? Including the actors on Bonanza. Yeah. Yeah. He has one of the most electric performances I've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:26:40 He seems alive and conscious for most of the readings of his lines. It almost feels like he's there. Wow. He seems like he wanted it. Yes. The other actors feel like to me that they could have just gotten out of a craft service haze of some kind and you know maybe been slapped with a wet wipe or two and... But in a good way. In a good way they might have just woke up from a nap sometimes seems like the way that some of
Starting point is 00:27:19 these lines get some of these lines get. Yep. Yep okay and one thing he did in this episode he's his character is often expressing fear and anxiety, but Ricardo Montauban is delivering it with strength. Yeah. It's fascinating to see. But, you know, he was on that fantasy island. Did you ever know that the network wanted to hire Orson Wells for that part instead? But Aaron Spelling said no, Montelbarn. I think they made a smart move.
Starting point is 00:27:48 I think they made a smart move. That was Orson Wells' heavy decline period. Yeah, he was not at his best. No. But I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall for conversations between Orson Wells and Hervey villages. Yeah, because they, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, the the they, they. they. they're, they're, they're, because I bet too the way that just the contrast of styles look and... Yeah, oh my, they would have looked wild together and they I'll bet you they would have had a lot in common them too. Oh yeah. Did you know here's another thing I learned about
Starting point is 00:28:14 Fantasy Island. Maybe I'll make it as a guess what? Guess how much it cost for somebody to go to to go to Fantasy Island and have their their their their their their fantasy their fantasy their their fantasy their fantasy their fantasy. their their their fantasy. their their their fantasy. their the Fantasy Island and have their fantasy fulfilled. I think it'd be $15,000. Now are you guessing in 1977 money? Yes. Okay, $1,000. Oh, I'll say $25,000. You say $15,000? It was $50,000. Which today would be about $200,000.
Starting point is 00:28:41 And really, it's not that, because they did a lot of dark magic on that show.. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. to to to to to to to do to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th. th. th. the. That'll cost you. Sure. To get in touch with the devil? Oh yeah, that's right. Mr. Rourke had some showdowns with Bridey McDowell as the devil. Yeah. And did he have to pay, did he have to kick into the devil a percentage of that? Or how much were they're over? Oh, their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. Did their. Did their their? Did he their? Did he th. Did he th. Did he th. On fantasy Island I wonder did he have to tath to the devil? Yeah I'm sure yeah well the devil probably takes more than 10% right he probably takes around 29. I think that's it? Like a discover card. the discover card is often called the devil's credit card. Yeah that's right. Well hey but here's the discovery card is often called the devil's credit card. Yeah, that's right. That's right. Well, hey, but here's the wild thing.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Now I'm about to blow your mind. Ready? Yeah. All right. Ricardo Maldon, Bonn, bonn. Bunchet. Hea, themole. He plays a Native American man named Mattoo. woman named Hatoia played by an actress named Madeline Rue who was also cast
Starting point is 00:29:47 as Lieutenant Marla McGivers the love interest to Kahn in the space seed episode of Star Trek so the two of them I'm going to show you two pictures side by side this is big and this is the same two people there they are in this episode of Bananza and there they are in this episode of Bonanza, and there they are in that episode of Star Trek. Now you remember in Star Trek, Khan was like this super evolved like eugenics experiment, right? Right. He's super smart, he's super strong, and he has the capacity to take over the enterprise and do all kinds of whatnot and he makes this lieutenant on the enterprise fall in love with him.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Well and she has the typical breasts of space which are just enormous and pointy. Well they would have I believe the Starfleet did keep that in mind when they recruited, get some enormous breasts on there. But she, so now, isn't that crazy? It's the same damn actress. I bet blows my mind. That's like, I mean, like Hepburn and Tracy. Yeah. Now, if you're a big Star Trek fan,
Starting point is 00:30:54 and all you want to talk about is Star Trek all time, you need to start transferring some of that energy to Bonanza. Do you feel like that was that was that was that was that was that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively that was creatively the the the the the the the the the the the the that that that that the the the that that that that that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. Because the woman didn't have any ethnicity whatsoever or any characteristics or emotional beyond she just spoke she enunciated. Which character you talking about? The one in the Bonanza? Bonanza?
Starting point is 00:31:27 Well, that may have also been true of the one in Star Trek. That's what I'm saying. She, oh, when they made the movie, just enunciated. Yeah. She, which was first? Oh, Bonnanza was by about six years. Okay. Now, what was the movie. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. that. that. that. that. that. that. that. The best Star Trek movie. It's real good.
Starting point is 00:31:52 Well, in the original draft of the movie, oh no, there was a role for Madeline Roo as Lieutenant, but the fellow they brought on to direct it said no, no, no, it, the the they, they, they, th, th, th, th, th, th, th... Well, thin, thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, so..... Oh, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to me, to me, to me, to, to, to, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, to, so, so, to, to, to, to, to, to, to. Oh, so, so, so, some, some, some, some, some, oh, some, the fellow they brought on to direct it said, no, no, it'd be better if she has died and then it makes Ricardo Montabon all the angry or Kirk. That is true. It is nice, Solomon. Oh, this poor woman. Oh, is Khan? Ricardo Monta. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:13 That's what I was so special. Oh, yeah. Yeah, and that point also has a Spanish accent? Sure. Yeah, and that's more to do with the fact that Ricardo Montauban never changed. He's like Sean Connery. He just always goes natural accent. Yeah, that's right.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Can you bring up a picture of him in Rathacon, because there's all sorts of controversy we've maybe talked about this before as to whether or not that's actually Ricardo Montalban's chest. I actually, I teach the Minnesota School of Acting where you, you can become a famous actor even with a real strong Minnesota accent. And people just assume you're from space. Who's done that? Or you're maybe aboriginal, aboriginal, or maybe you're, you're from France. Oh, because you're, oh my God, that,
Starting point is 00:33:12 it's such a different accent. You just assume it's from China or from Argentina or someplace else. And I teach that accent, people are learning the song sophisticated. Yeah. I like there it's it's so different. I believe you is from anywhere talking like that anywhere on earth or elsewhere. All right let's get a ruling now. I'm Russian now. Now you're Russian. I'm Russian now. And that's how they talk to. Here's Ricardo Montabon in the Rathicon 1980-something and a lot of people say that that their it it it there. It there. It their. they th th th th th they th th that's how they talked to. Here's Ricardo Montabon in the Rathicon 1980-something and a lot of people say that that was a prosthetic chest. Mainly because there's a very thick necklace which would hide the seam. Yeah, but I know the answer.
Starting point is 00:33:56 I don't think it is because I think you want to guess? I'm gonna guess because his chest looks exactly how it did in the Bonanza series. Well, that's what I'm doing. We're especially qualified for, because at some point, he takes off his shirt in this episode, doesn't he? Keep a mind to that this is 20 years later. It is 20 years later. But I still believe in his dedication to his craft. And he'd go ahead and pump up that chest if he's going to go back and play the trial. If he takes any job, he has the work ethic, you know I'm going to say this in a in a in an accent, a Spanish act. Nor if he takes any a job then he totally that's his thoughts that's his relatives. That to me to me that to me. Really I heard some Valley girl in the thi. Did you? Yeah? th. Yeah? I? I? I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm th. I'm thi. I'm thi. I'm going thi, I'm going thi, I'm going thi, I'm going thi, I'm going thi, I'm going thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm thi, I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm th. I'm going th. I'm going thi. I'm going thi. I'm going thi. I'm going to to say, I'm going to to say, I'm going to thi. I'm going thi. I'm going thi. I'm going thi. I'm going thi. I'm going thi, I'm going his raw tas. That to me sounded just a slightly more maybe Spain Spanish than mixed.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Really, I heard some Valley Girl in there. Did you? Well, whatever it was, it worked for me. You say you know the answer. I know the answer. How do you know the answer? I've researched it. Okay. Well, as far as what he's, he's what he says. Are you doubting, are you doubting with the Rekarimando Obama says?
Starting point is 00:35:10 I can't tell a word of what she's saying, it's fluent Spanish. It's beautiful. He says he, that's his real chest. Well, I think that's far from a definitive answer. The jury is still out. I know the director of the movie says that it was his real chest as well. Oh, that's right. I guess we don't have anybody going on record saying it wasn't.
Starting point is 00:35:32 True. I guess we've got to give the benefit to the chest. Okay, I don't like it though. But all right. Hey, one more thing, Madeline. Meddlin' Rue, she ran out of money toward the end of her career, and Angela Lansbury created a recurring role for her on murder she wrote. Well, isn't that nice? Not nice, just to get her some health insurance there.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Oh, isn't that nice? Well, she also kind of made her, kept working. That's true. She could have just cut her a check, I guess. She even kind of a full-time job instead of work for it, honey. Nothing for nothing. She had MS too, by the way. I didn't mention that. She was wheelchair-bound and had MS. At the time of murder she wrote. Yes, and ran out of money, didn't have health care. Anangel Lansbury said, you want a job? Maybe she didn't want a job. Oh no. I never thought she could have just cut her a check.
Starting point is 00:36:25 She doesn't seem like much of a nice lady now. Not so much, maybe. Maybe she was Mrs. Ironside's. Well, then you got to Anthony Caruso, who you was talking about with all the makeup on Play Lagos. This is his second of four bonanzas. We saw him as Chief Winamooka in the Payu War.
Starting point is 00:36:46 He played a lot of Native American people. Two for two. Yep, I think all four times he was on bonanza, he was a Native American. He was the son of Italian-American parents, grew up out here in California, I believe. He was in some wonderful movies, such as Blackbeard, comma, the pirate. He was in another movie called Escape Me Never. Have they settled on that? Escape Me Never.
Starting point is 00:37:14 I don't think it did settle. I understand running to work as an actor, you know, when I got this effort to, my husband was shooting a film about people in South Africa. Really? And I said, I can draw a South African accent. Yes, you can. And he said, he said, no, that'll be bad. What? And was he doing an accent at the time? Yeah, he knows how to do his accent as well. Wow. So you didn't get to do his accent as well. Wow. So you didn't get to be in it?
Starting point is 00:37:46 I didn't, well, we really got bogged down. Oh, in the story, we went back and forth with what the story was about. And both of our hands are going million miles an hour. Oh, you got the puppets out going out. And first it was about, you know, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, th. th. th. th. th. th. the, th. th. th. th. to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thoo. to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, the puppets out going out. And first it was about, you know, it was about a romance, and then he split off and he went in the bathroom and started doing stuff about, you know, how there was a drug deal. And I said, we're kissing out here. Sometimes that's what happens in a story meeting.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Yeah, I guess so when you have the puppets work it out, I guess all kinds of things can happen. I'm just left with more questions than anything. I do have a lot of questions. I don't think I'll ask them, but I just want you to know that I'm left with a lot of questions. Same here. Okay, well, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get to be am too. I would have liked to see a real good one. It's all right. You know, you just realize the show business. Sometimes, you know, it's just a moment in time and you move on real quick. Yep. Yeah. Okay. But then we got Carl Swenson, he played Ike Daggart. This is the fellow who had the
Starting point is 00:38:58 most unkind things to say about Native American peoples that probably has ever been strung together in one scene. Media anywhere ever. He's just, he really hands them their hat, I'll tell you what. But he is, he played the drunken doomsayer in the diner in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, the birds. Yep. He was Eddie Haskell's father on Leavitt 2 Baber. But most importantly, he was Lars Hansen, the founder of Walnut Grove on Little House on the Prairie in 40 episodes.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Wow. Now apparently, his character was supposed to have some brush with death. And but to get through it, and he took Michael Landon aside and he said no, kill me off because I'd like to retire. I'm 70 goddamn years old. I want to get out into business Enjoy the rest of my days and so Michael and said okay You make us all sad, but we're gonna kill your character and they killed him off Eight days after the episode aired the real Carl Swenson passed away. You believe that? Oh, you believe that? Oh, no So the ants what is the lesson there? What is listen there? Well, how did he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he the the the the the the the the the th the the the that that that that that that that that? that? that? that? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh? Oh, the the the the the the the the the the the the that's that's? Oh, that's? Oh, that is? Oh, that is? Oh, the the that is? Oh, the the the that's is? Oh, the the the the the is the lesson there? Well, how did he die in the show and how did he die in real life?
Starting point is 00:40:07 Oh, I forget on the show I don't remember, but in real life he had a heart attack, just dropped dead on vacation. What happened to him? He should have gone over to work at murder, she wrote, right? Then at least you'd be forced to work. Hey, um, I was thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to be to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to, to to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, the.e. the the. the the the the to the to to to to to the to to to to the to to to start in a realty company because this episode really made me think about your ownership. And I mean, everybody, all the land is featured on this episode is the bread people's land, is the bun people's land, the Bannock.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Well, I mean, is it or is it not? It is. It is. Or is it not now? So that's how I'm starting my new realty group. You just start creeping in. And it's called Squatter's Realty. And we just, we just start saying, you know, things like it's God's kind of, it's called Squatters Realty. And we just, we just start saying, you know, things like it's God's country.
Starting point is 00:41:10 And then I'm sitting on your front porch, and then I just slowly move into your living room. That's a good way to get, to get your hands on some realty for a starter home for a family that wants to get a seat at the table real estate wise. That's how we ended up here. Is not that's right? I don't have the th. th. th. th. th. th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that that that that that that that that that th. We just that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that that to get a seat at the table real estate wise. That's how we ended up here is not that's right I don't have any idea who owns this house you're leaving in now. That's right. But I was trying to think how was it that the that the cartwright came to be in position of the land that they had humans. I believe it's through gradual squatting where they sit in the th. th. the th. the the th. the th. the the th. the th. their. their. their. their. their th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. T. T. thi. I don't threat can't get through and there's enough, I think it's decimation of the local population by disease as well as an enormous genocide that was completely thought out. Like it was it was written in documents. They said we want to kill every single one of these people.
Starting point is 00:42:07 I was under the impression that they was heroically taming the West as Frontier's people on behalf of America. Well, you can have it both ways. Okay, good. It's a little both, not mutually exclusive. Uh-huh. Academy Award winner, Helly Berry. One touch without a robot is all in text. Say it.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Never let go. We're the world now. Never let go. In theater September 20th. Well, this episode begins with the worst stunt double work I've ever seen in my life. That is not just talcum powder to make his hair gray. I think they put some kind of black light painting's hair and then turned on a black light. I've never seen anything like that.
Starting point is 00:42:55 Because it begins with a white-haired fella out there and where he's shot from a bird's-eye view, which you never see. And then he is set upon by the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face the face set upon by a native person and there's a fight and we full-on see the face of the white man in the fight we just they don't even make an attempt to hide it and I'm thinking who's this strange white man and this strange character is this what and then the native man gets a upper hand on it looks like he stabs him right in the heart and then the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the he and the he and the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. they. tree. they. they. they. they. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the upper hand on, looks like he stabs him right in the heart. And then they cut to and it's Ben Cartwright on the ground. Yeah, what a twist. And probably Lauren was trying to get a job to someone who is about to die.
Starting point is 00:43:33 He said, you know what, you can be my stunt double so you can get insurance. You're gonna die anyway. Right. That's a good idea. That's who they should hire. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the the th. th. th. th. the th. the the the the their their their their their their their the their the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. People who are dying. Yeah, the doctor says I got about three months left. You want me to try and jump over to his cars and motorcycle? It's called Hospice Extras. What a great idea. But it was a good fight, but you usually, I think when you got a stunt double in there, you try to maybe, let's not have a full view of his face so we can tell it's not it's not it's not it's not.... It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. It's, it's, it. It's, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, to be, their, their, their. their. to. to. to, their, th. their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their. their. their. their. their. their. their. He almost a close-up featured him in many ways. So that was a bit of an oops of daisy. But this native man's about to kill Bencart, right? And that's when Ricardo Montemontemps comes out of nowhere and says, hey, I'm your brother, you are next in line to be the chief of our sticky bun tribe. This is all all all all all all all all all all all all all all all all all all all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all this is all the this is all they. they. they. they. th. th. th. th. th. the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. Yeah, but some real
Starting point is 00:44:25 turbo exposition by the way. Yeah, and we have to learn to live with the white people and then the logo says you talk like a woman and they agreed to handle the white men in their own ways. That's them to the credits. And but and Boyd is he, Ricardo Montabant still still miscalculate on the white man because it doesn't go well. You don't think the white man treats and will in this episode? Well, it doesn't go well. In the next century, it doesn't go. Oh, I say you're taking the long view. Well, now we go. And also he ends up having to move off his land. Even though you kind to know know know know know know know know know know know know know know know know that he that he th th th th th th th th th th th th th the long view. Well now we go. And also he ends up having to move off his land, even though you kind of know that he wants to move off just because he's been given, his wife
Starting point is 00:45:10 dies. Yeah. And he's given so much grief. Things do get complicated in this episode. His tp. has toppled like a statue of Saddam Hussein at some point, which was. Yeah, but by friends. By friends. Right, I guess. Well in the next scene we we we we we we we th. S scene. S scene. S scene. S scene. S scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene scene. He's t. He's t. He's t. He Right I guess. Well in the next scene we have a band is being nursed back to health by Matsu. That's old Ricardo Montemontan and his wife Hatoia and Lagos comes up and he says hey what happened to that guy stabbed. I was telling why I wanted to scalp him and because he's the guy that owns all this land. And we learned that Hatoia is a very, very devout Christian. She almost never opens her mouth but to say something about God and the Bible and prayers. So she is a Shishone who lived amongst the white people and has become a very devout Christian. I thought she was a white person who had gone to live with the Native American tribe and then took on their clothing and customs like stands with fist and dances with wolves. Oh, maybe. No, I not, but th. But th. But th. But th. But th. But th. But she th. But she th. But she's th. But she's th. Starting point is 00:46:06 That's what I thought. Oh, because she's such a white woman. She. The actress, you mean? Yes. I'm sure they tried real hard to find native actors. But so now, it turns out we understand. They are not welcome to live with the bread people because he's married a Shoshone. They're not welcome to live with the Shoshone is because she's married a bread man.
Starting point is 00:46:29 Catch me if he can. I'm the Shoshone bread man. So but and and Motsu says, get out of here Lagos. I'm going to take care. He says, there's no white man in my wikiup. I don't know the difference seen a wiki up and a T.P. Looks. He to to me. He to me. He. He. they. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. t. they. So. So. So. So. So. So. So. th. they. they. they. they. th. So, wiki up and a T.P. looks like a T.P. to me. he called it a wiki up at some point. I meant to look it up but I forgot. So that's one thing. Now now we're at the Ponderosa. Ben has been missing too long. There's nervous. Up shows I Herodin of a wife. Is that a word heridan? Well, she was just seeing what's what? She's a piece of work that lady. Oh boy, she's a classic sitcom wife. I kind of feel in love with that. Yeah, real Helen Roper. She sasses him bad. Why don't you bring that gun to bed with us? He spent so much time with you. You pay more mind of that gun than you do me. She says, man, old man. What's he doing with that gun?
Starting point is 00:47:29 I know. She'd like to have her trigger pull. Well, she's probably, he's oiling it and then cocking it back and forth and loading it and then sliding it the full bar. That sounds that's that's that's that's that's th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thin, thin' thin' the the thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thin' th, th, thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thin' thoooooooo' thoan, and thoan, thin, thin, thin, thoan, thin, thin' thin' thin' th taking the safety off and putting it on and safety on and putting off. Giving it the full bore. Oh, that sounds like my Saturday night right there. He just laid it out. Well, they're concerned.
Starting point is 00:47:52 Oh, yeah, Ike dagger. Now, old Ike dagger was plowing his field and he found a skull which he has brought here as a gift to Ben Cartwright and as an opening to a conversation he'd like to have the to have..... the the the they, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th, th, th, th, th, and, the, they, they, and, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they, they, they, they, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, thin, thin, and thin, thin, and thin, and thin, and thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, and thin, thin, and thin, thin, and thin, thin an opening to a conversation he'd like to have about how there's too many. I believe he always uses the term engines around and he wants them out of here. He's particularly concerned about this married couple who have put on a Wickeye up T. P. on the Bonderosa land, evidently because they need to live by themselves. They're not welcoming their villages. And the skull is identifiable on site as a Native American skull. Yeah, so how is that? Problematic. I don't know, but when they have to assume it is.
Starting point is 00:48:36 Now at some point, Adam, looking at the skull says, but they decide it's 200 years old. They also can tell that. He says, guess there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's there's their's no. their is no their's their their their their their their their their their their their, their. their. their. their. their their. their their. their. their. their their their. their their. their their their their their their their their their their their their thoom, thoom, thoomorrow. thoomorrow. thooooomorrow. thoooooooooomorrow. th. th. th. theoooooooooooooooomoomorrow. tell that. He says, guess there's no question about who originally lived on this land. Now that's it. Oh, that's a good admission. Yep. He went ahead and said it. They're telling the true with them. And then, you know, then, yeah. But the scene ends in a peculiar way, because the cartwright boys are, they seem like really on the side of the Native peoples, whereas I hate him. And this skull that he's brought along, as unhaut of a trophy for Ben, has offended the Cartwright boys.
Starting point is 00:49:13 So much so the little Joe says, I don't think we'll be needing this, and puts it in the fireplace. What? Now, for what I understand of some Native American cultures, it is a sort of blasphemy to move the bones from a burial ground. I would think. Well, that seems like they're not helping in that sense. Well, and I think the cart raids, I've been doing some reading, and the cart rates, kind of the way that they did, the white supremacy taking over the land and then, and then, and then, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, it, and, and, the way that they, the white supremacy taking over the land and then acting as if they were saving the aboriginal people is very common where people say,
Starting point is 00:49:57 oh, we killed everybody, but now we've come back to help the people that we killed most of. Ben Cartwright is very, very helpful to these, to Matsu and Hatoa. Now he is, but we didn't see him when he first moved into the area. Oh man! Well, I have to assume he was just as helpful. Then Ben's good man. And he does make it quite clear that the specific reason he wants to be so helpful to Matsu and Hatoia is because the the the the their their th. thu. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, but thi, thi, but thi, but th. th. th. th. to, to, to to be, to be, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to to, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be, th. He does say that
Starting point is 00:50:44 It's kind of sending what do you mean? the man? th is th. th. the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their to to to to the to to the to their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. It's condescending and manipulative? What do you mean? This is a whole new aiming? I just read about it. Well stop reading. What are you reading for? I'm shocked to hear you reading from. My goodness. You've got to be an ally. Now Ben says, what are you reading Howard Zins people's history in the United States? Oh, I heard of that book. Well, and I, we heard about some some other TV shows that are really, really good. And so we've been doing those with my husband with the socks and me with my bear. What kind of shows you talking about?
Starting point is 00:51:21 You know, things like descendants. Is that the one about the children of the Disney villains? It's produced by QuestLove. Quest Love? And it's about that, one of the last remaining ships that came, slave ships that came over, and the people who are descendants of that, they all live in a small town. Oh, yeah. And, um, it's on south. And, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the children, the children, the the children, uh, the children, uh, children, children, uh, children, children, the children, uh, children, uh, children, uh, children, the the children, uh, the children, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the, slave ships that came over and the people who are descendants of the Thwa live in a small town. Oh yeah. And it's on South and how the things that were in place then and the terrible things like
Starting point is 00:51:58 there's one white family that still owns all the land in the area. It's pretty bad. Amy, are you becoming woke? Well, I don't want to hear about that still owns all the land in the area. It's pretty bad. Amy, are you becoming woke? Well, I don't want to hear about that woke business. I woke up this morning and I didn't feel that awake, so I did have coffee before I came over. Well, that's fine. Coffee is fine. Yeah, all right. Well, I don't understand half the things you're talking about. I don't understand either, but I gotta keep bumbling. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well. Well, th, th, th, th, th, th, to be, to be, to be, the, to be, to be, to be, the, to be, to be, the, to be, to be, to be, to be, to be to be to be their, the, to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be their, their, their, their, their, their, their, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their. Well, their. Well, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their their their their their their their their their to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to their their, their, their, their I don't understand half the things you're talking about. I don't understand either, but I gotta keep bumbling. I'm glad I got. I'm a bumbler.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Yeah, you're bumbling your way towards something, but I'm staying still, God damn. Don't wanna, don't I'm done learning. Well, anyways, what happens now, doctors and sons? Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, they, they, they, they, they, they, they's, they, they, th. th. the, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'm, I'm, I'm, that, that, that, that, that, that, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, I'm, that's, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm sons? Okay, they offer him the land. Matsu who's like, what do you mean? I'm a hunter. Oh, Ben says at some point, this seems true. He says, the red man knows more about hunting and fishing.
Starting point is 00:52:54 The white man knows more about farming. If we put what we know together, it will be more than enough for us all. Sounds like Thanksgiving. Yeah, there's, there, there, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, thine, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, I thin, I to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thin, I, I, I, I'm, I'm thin, I'm thin. thin. thin. thin. toda. today. today, I'm today. today. today, I'm too. too, I'm too, I'm too genetic knowledge is what it is. Yeah. So, although it sounds like the Bannock tribe knows something about farm and agriculture and specifically bread. Yeah. And I do think that these white folks that live out there sometimes do get up to some hunting. I believe. Well, all right. Ben is recovering from a fever. Let's cut him some slack. Also, he was a different man not long ago. Yeah, a whole different human being.
Starting point is 00:53:28 So now, well, I guess Matt Su decides on balance. It makes sense for him. And his wife is all, she's on board because she's fully Christianized. And she's happy to go become. Little too much if you live with the white folk. Oh, I know. Bring the gun to bed. Pick up a Christ on a cracker romance and let and let Jesus come into your life and that whole new way. Oh man, I'm going to buy one today. But so now, okay, it's full steam ahead and boy.
Starting point is 00:54:04 I always put the steamyest part at 69. Page 69? Oh my. I'm gonna flip right to page 69. That's how you know in most novels, that's how you know in most novels, chapter 11, the character goes bankrupt. You know that right now.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Now, It almost happens in all the classic novels anyway. You're a writer. I'm a writer. So now, all the white folks chip in and they're so helpful. They're building a barn and they're plow on the land. Man, oh man, every white person in the area comes together and says, hot dog, we got two native peoples willing to cut their hair. We're not gonna call you Matt Sue anymore. Now you're Matt. They, and they, and they, and they, and they, and they, and they, and they, and they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're just, and they're just, and they're their hair. We're not going to call you Matt Sue anymore. Now you're Matt. They start calling him Matt and they're just and they couldn't be happier and poor Hatoia it's been months. It's been long enough for them to get a whole big bunch of corn going and she still has to hand him a fork every day at
Starting point is 00:54:58 meal every meal. to use the fork damn it he won't take it. That's what my husband is like. I like like th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th th that that that that. I that. that. thin thin' the the thin' the to to to to to to to their their their their their their their they their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their thi. toy. toy. toy. toy toy. I toy. I'll toy. I'll toy. I'll toy. I'll toy. I'll toye. I'm toye. the t damn it. He won't take it. That's what my husband is like. I like eating with my hands. But I don't know if that's just because it's a genetic thing. Oh. I just, my hands seem so much better than a fork. You do have. They move around. Look at my fingers. They can grasp things so they don't fall out. I would say your hands, your fingers are more tyin-like. When you when you have a salad, if you have to use a fork, you kind of stab the fork. Here with my hand, I can just grab the cob salad and let it drip through my finger, but then grab, you know, it's so much, you know, or efficient, more efficient. You're kind of a fleshy Freddy Kruger, if I'm being honest, just looking at your long, long spindly, spiky fingers. I got long fingers. Yeah. I also play the piano. Oh yeah? Plink, plink, plink. You play like an old-timy piano.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Plink, pling, pling. Just one note in the time, huh? I only learned it that way. It's beautiful. Just one note in time, huh? I only learned it that way. It's beautiful. We had a tiny little keyboard when I was a kid and I played in the attic. Pink, tink, pink, pink. Up in the attic, huh? Well, just when I was being punished. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:19 It's just something about it sounds a little creepy thing to go up into the attic. Well, sometimes mom had to go to th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. It's, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It's, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, th. It, I. It, I. It, I, I thi. It, I thi. It, I thi. It's, I thi. It's just, thi. It's just, thi. It's just just, thi. It's just just, toge. thi. It's just just just, thi. It's just, thi. It's just, thi. thi. go up into the attic. Did you live up in the attic? Well, sometimes mom had to go to work. Okay. I don't think they, you'd never, you'd never lure a piano tuning professional into that attic. So it probably sounded a certain way. I'm thinking. Well, okay, old Matt and Hattie. They didn't call her that, but I loved here. Just a little bit more about this attic.
Starting point is 00:56:49 What else was in there? Is there an old bird cage up there? There was a bucket. So I could, it was like an old, you know, when you go to a school and they have school lunches and there's a big, you know, big can of beans that's like made for like 40 people. And so I could poop in there, pee in there, and then I just had the keyboard was sort of my friend. Okay, you ever seen or read that book Flowers in the Attic. You ought to do a Christian version of that where it's you and Jesus up in the attic. And there's an extended sort of a, will he, won't he, will she, she,
Starting point is 00:57:28 yeah, sort of thing. You mean will they or won't they poop in the same pan? Well, that and, well, I mean, my husband and I, our bathroom habits, I really feel like that adds to some of the chemistry that we have. Oh, in a good way, I thought you were headed there's there's there's there's that adds to some of the chemistry that we have. Oh, in a good way? I thought you were headed toward there's actual toxic chemistry. Because I know when he's laid a stinker, that I say, that's my guy! You're proud of it.
Starting point is 00:57:58 Yeah, I call those a crowd pleaser. I stand up and applaud and I see, honey, let me see it. Oh yeah, you go in and have a look. Well, it's a showstopper. Yeah, okay. Especially if it's gonna, you're gonna have to call somebody out. Yeah, a pipe stopper. Oh, you gotta fix the toilet sometimes is that big, well, all right, good for him.
Starting point is 00:58:20 That's a man's man, far as I'm concerned. I don't wanna hear about these slender little shits. Well now, Lagos comes forward to say, we're going on the war path against the white man. We're gonna, God damn, attack all the white people. And, uh, and everybody's, the white people are pretty calm about it. They said, well, let's ride out and warn everybody. And old Matt, Matt says, I'm gonna warn I, Daggered. I know he hates me and says he'll shoot me if I wander onto his land,
Starting point is 00:58:52 but I'm gonna wander onto his land and tell him, hey, watch out, there's a bread people coming for you. And the night that he goes out to do that, well, wouldn't you know it, his own brother attacks the house. They kill his nasty wife in her bed with a pitchfork. They kill her with that, and then they said ablaze the house. And I don't know how I, Daggart survived, but he did shoot Lagos, the next in line to be the chief of the breads. And then there's now we got a funeral funeral funeral funeral funeral funeral funeral, we got a funeral, we got a funeral, we got a funeral, we got the funeral, we got the funeral, we got the funeral, we got the funeral, we got the funeral, we got th.
Starting point is 00:59:24 to be the chief of the breads. And then there's now we got a funeral we're burying that mean old lady and hat hat toy deals down and does a whole bunch of Christian praying at this funeral and she will not be stopped. She was doing it right too she did a nice job. She did she's good at the Lord's Prayer. Yeah that's right. So then and I dagger it's just like hey what God, don't you be praying at my wife's funeral of two years, blah, blah, blah, bulls a gun, shoots at Toya down. And we should mention that she's with child. Oh, good point. I forgot that. She's pregnant. Went right through the infant. Yep. So he's gone and killed two with one bullet and he keeps saying eye for an eye right that's in Bible isn't it I for an eye because he's like you you killed my wife he didn't but they didn't really and I so now I killed yours makes the sense to
Starting point is 01:00:13 him he doesn't know he's doing an eye for two eyes yeah he didn't know before probably four total yeah but now okay we got uh well Matt I think think we can call him Matt Sue again. He goes and he attacks Ike, but he doesn't kill him, he carves him up real bad. And he, he, he, tells I, to tell Ben to meet me someplace. Ben goes and meets Matt Suo, who now is shirtless with the Rathicon chest. And he is full Native American main again. And he's Matt Su strikes him, knocks him down, ties him to the ground. He's full Native American, but partially beetle mop-topped.
Starting point is 01:00:56 Yeah, that's true. I thought his haircut looked like, you remember Luis from Sesame Street? Yeah, I do. That's you. That's the little Peter Tork in there. Yeah, that's right. So he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he he that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's. that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that's th. that's that's that's thatthere. Yeah, that's right. So he looks like that and plus also he's for Mexico. So with those sort of the disclaimers, he's a fully breadman. And he now, he's tied, is gonna basically torture Ben to death. Wow, now I've never heard of this rawhide torture method before. Right. Bentied up with all four stretched out and strings of rawhide connected to stakes in the ground then he says as you know rawhide shrinks in the sun which means Ben will slowly be pulled and drawn and
Starting point is 01:01:34 quartered. Yeah. I make hair ties that will do that. It's for you know for beach wear so then when you're worried, oh, I have a pony, like a low pony or a high pony or two pig tails, that when the sun, that instead of your hair getting loose while you are at the beach, it gets tighter and tighter so that you get sort of attention headache. So that you know when to go from the beach and you don't stay there too long too their their their their too their their their their their their too th sort of attention headache. So that you know when to go from the beach and you don't stay there too long.
Starting point is 01:02:09 It's a good idea. Once you start suffering so much scalp pain that you can't stand it anymore, hop in the car and hit on home. That's right. That's what the high heel is for. Oh, the high heel tells a woman when to go home. Oh, really? I didn't th you th you otherwise women would be out all the time. I know that. They were saving the last dance. Yep, that's right. Well now, so okay, this is it, time to torture Ben to death. Why? Because he says, well, you held me back
Starting point is 01:02:36 when old Agdaigard was shooting my wife. You basically killed her and what would be that. But Ben, what does Ben do? He starts saying the Lord's Prayer. Our Bonanza, who art on YouTube, how would be their guns? They horses come, they will be done on, on Benanza as it is on the map. Beautiful. That was gorgeous. Man. I rewrote it. That is fancy. Somebody out there is good with needlepoint. Put that on the needlepoint. It's gorgeous. Well, put it in the Bible too. Put it right in there. Slighted into your family bibles. So, uh, but here's what happened. Now Ben says the Lord's prayer. And dang if it doesn't melt Matsuo's heart. And he he says to him, he's all. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. the. th. th. th. th. that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is that is th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. that's that's heart and he cuts them loose and he says to him he's all upset he says if I couldn't torture you into hating me then I couldn't kill you and ain't that just what old
Starting point is 01:03:32 Pontius Pilod ought to have said to Jesus? But he didn't and that and so what that means is that Jesus comes back and he's ready to meet people. Exactly, you couldn't kill Jesus. You couldn't torture him into hating you and therefore you couldn't kill him. Ben has never been more Christlike. He rolls back the stone. Yep, and then he says, can you ever forgive me?
Starting point is 01:03:58 And Ben says, I forgave you even before you tied me up there or something like that. All right, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, that, thi, tha, tha, tha, tha, that. All right, Ben, take it easy. Because I took, because he's happy and sass, he's sassy and fat with his land. I took your land decades ago. Well, but it ends up with old Matsu, he doesn't go back to that farm in life. He's, he'd go, and it's, we understand in the very final moment that he is now the chief of the bread people because he was the brother of Lagos who was next to the line of big chief who got shot at Ike Daggart's house now it's Matsu who is the chief of the breads so there you go yeah you only had to lose a wife and child to get it yep this was a depressing episode he has nothing he has absolutely nothing no not even his hair.
Starting point is 01:04:46 He's lost his culture, he belongs nowhere. Right. That, da da da da da. Dada. That, da da da. You play guitar, da, da. You play guitar too, huh? Oh, yes, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:02 But here's the real sad thing. There's, that's very depressing. That puts it all in context, the culture, he th, he th, he th, he th, he th, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he, he. He he, he he. He he, he. He he. He he, he, he. He. He. He. He, he. He, he, he. He. He. He. He, he. He. He. He. He, he. He's, he. He's, he. He's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's to to sad thing. There's only 392 episodes left to go. That's very depressing. That puts it all in context, doesn't it? How many? 392? No, I saw they were invited to some sort of award show as a cast. Somebody said, sent a picture in that they were all out of an award show, the Bonanza cast.
Starting point is 01:05:22 I'm sure there was that many that many that many that many that many that many there was that many there was there was there was that many there was that many that many there was there was that many that many that many there was that many that was that many that many that many'm sure there was that many awards. And I thought, really? Amy? What do you mean? Amy, you're confusing me today, A. Do you think for any of those 14 years they could have held an Emmy awards without inviting Bananza to come to Tuxenus? I love them so much that I know them and I know their flaws and I know deeply how poorly it's written and how terribly it's acted and because I know that that's why I love it even more. I'm not sure I hadn't followed that. I am confused but maybe it's like how like in certain cultures you can't make a perfect rug there has to be an imperfection in the rug because only God can make something perfect. Only when you reach a state of irritability with your spouses that you know that you have intimacy.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Okay. You have a perfect relationship. As you know, as you say, I don't know if I can stand the way they make that noise with their mouth one more second, you say, this is, this one's the one for me. Well, that's good advice. I think a lot of people pack their bags at that point. No, it's deep discomfort. That's when you know you're in love. Beautiful. Well, I'm gonna tell you some things about,

Yes, this beautiful sentiment.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Just like, just like everyone I love. Hey, I wonder if John Wayne ever wrote an autobiography. He probably did. I'm sure he did. If he did, that's all the history reading you need to do instead of these books you're talking about. Yeah, what are these books? What are these books? What are these books?
Starting point is 01:08:18 Yeah, okay, he's got one. Let's recommend a book to the folks out there. Duke in his own words. Duking his own words. That's all the history you need. Okay. A real dukey on Duke. Yeah, he's a good man. All right. Oh, I put a stitch in my stomach. Okay. I'll probably edit this out. Ouch. Anything for you to see my tailor? No, sir. I'm just happy to be here. I'm glad we got through that very, very heavy and solemn episode. Heavy and dark episode.
