Starting point is 00:00:00 the podcast for Sleepy Heads. I'm Theo and I'm so glad to be joining you tonight. I've had a big dinner of Meatballs and Pasta. I'm Theo and I'm so glad to be joining you tonight. I've had a big dinner of meatballs and pasta, my teeth are brushed, just hopped out of a scolding hot bath on this beautiful cool autumn night. I'm so glad you could join us on our quiet, low-energy podcast. It's bedtime. With us, of course, in his big sleepy head pajamas.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Big glass of warm milk in one hand, a candle on a plate in the other. Rubbing his eyes, stretching theatrically. It's Andrew. Hey, Andrew, it's bedtime. Oh, no, you're yawning. I have to yawn. It's like it's contagious. Yeah. Oh, it's been a long day. It has been, hasn't it?
Starting point is 00:01:34 And a long week, I think it's time to reward yourself with some rest, relaxation. I have a little snooze. And finally, all tucked up in bed, having taken enough melatonin to sedate a horse. A face lit by her phone peeking out of the covers, watching reruns of The Bachelor, it's Lucy. Hello Lucy, you're sleepy bitch. I'm so sleepy. I had one glass of red wine and 12 melatonin and I'm feeling pretty snoozy. Yeah, and they say not to mix them, but you just need to know how to do it. It's natural, Melatonin. Yep. Have you actually had melatoninon, I have precisely one melatonin sometimes before bedtime. What happens?
Starting point is 00:02:28 You just get nice and sleepy. Nice and sneazy. And sometimes you have some pretty weird dreams. That sounds pretty cool. It's pretty sure. It's pretty truly. You just feel heavy. I want to just have a little lie down.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Have a little snooze. I have, um, I've got a box of ceracle which you're supposed to take, like, it says on the box, take one four times a day. I take one half every three months and it wipes me out for 12 hours. I don't think my body is compatible with sleeping meds. Check out melatonin. It doesn't say one four times a day. I swear to God it does. That's so much, Sarah.
Starting point is 00:03:16 You are, dude, you are so much smaller than an elephant that we're trying to tranquilize. That's so tiny. Oh, all I need is one 0.9 beer. Is that right? I got a early midtide. One beer, oh that's sleepy time. One beer, that's sleepy time. You get through it and you think I could have another one, but Oh, I think so sleepy. I could just go to sleep now. I need to go to bed to to to to to the bed the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thea thea thea thea the the and watch the and watch theals theals theals theals theals theals theals one theals one think this is so sleepy. I could just go to sleep now.
Starting point is 00:03:46 I need to go to bed and watch reels for one hour. Yeah. The most relaxing thing there is to do. We've, we've just moved, we've just moved into a new house. We've just moved into a new house and we have decided, we had a TV in the bedroom in our old house. And we got to this new house to just just just just just just just just just just to just to just to to to to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to do to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to to the to to to to to to to to to to to to to to had a TV in the bedroom in our old house. And we got to this new house and we said, They say not to do that. What if we just don't bring the TV in here?
Starting point is 00:04:12 Yeah. And we've been sleeping good. It's something about, apparently my wife sleeps better when I am not watching a stupid movie at 12.30 a. Huh. Yeah, there's probably studies on that as well. Yeah, interesting. I wonder why that is. It's really hard to know it could be anything. Maybe the TV causes an air temperature change in the room. Yeah, it must be that. Have you considered looking at the glow of your telephone until midnight?
Starting point is 00:04:43 No, no, what you do the s what you do Lucy is you put it on dark mode and then it doesn't count. They give you that gentle yellow and a wall. The gentle yellow after 9 p.m. on my phone fixes everything. Get a little night shift. Night shift. You know what you know what we actually did last night? In this... Bed's up for sleeping, Andrew. The kids... This is the Sleepy Head podcast.
Starting point is 00:05:11 The kids, one of our kids in particular is... She plays piano and does piano lessons, and she quite likes classical music. So I put on, um, I got the ABC Listen app and I streamed it to the Airplay speaker yesterday. And we had some classical on the morning got the ABC Listen app and I streamed it to the airplay speaker yesterday and we had some classical on the morning before the kids went to school and everything and everybody liked it you know yeah that is nice and then in the
Starting point is 00:05:34 evening no TV in the bedroom and elder and I were both being warm by the glow of our phones and she said feel free to put a podcast or some music on or something. And I went, you know what? And I put on ABC Classic at night. And it immediately knocked Elner out like she had been shot with a horse tranquilized. Really? She just, it was on for... I'm gonna say... I think she had...
Starting point is 00:06:06 She'd put down her phone. Music went on and I'm gonna say 30 to 60 seconds. Wow. The honk-shoe, the me, me, me, me, Yeah. Yeah. She was, she was... She was...
Starting point is 00:06:21 She was... She was the nightcap back up in the air. And then when she was she was going, the the the thecap back up in the air And then when she was going me me me me the nightcap would fall back down So that's what I recommend to you folks get the TV out of the bedroom and look at your phone instead. Yeah, that's right. That's a that's a sleepyhead recommendation So good for you. Yeah, and um. I do think though. Elna has successfully replaced her nighttime Tick-Tock with playing the game Rummy Cub on her phone. Oh, I love a
Starting point is 00:06:54 good Rummy Cub. Yep. And I feel like that's probably better for her brain. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Andrew, one of my favorite places to sleep is in a house. But the people in this next story might have a little trouble with that. That's right. It's this week's Crime Watch. Please put down your weapon. You're a direct to the boy. You have got 15 seconds and I. Yeah, wake up. Yeah, wake up. Oh, wow! Wonderful. This is from KSNW the KSNW the KSNW Stolen. Stolen tiny house found at Kansas Grain Elevator. Hey, put my house back. What? Hey, give me that back. Hey, give me that back. Hey, snatching my house
Starting point is 00:08:29 back with one hand. In Hamilton County, Kansas, someone stole a tiny house in Colorado and hauled it to Kansas, but thanks to some Kansas deputies, the homeowner is getting the house back. It's so funny to steal a tiny house. Make your home bigger. Yeah. Consider that. Yeah, can't steal it. It's too big to put on a truck.
Starting point is 00:08:54 I think if you're trying to figure out an affordable way to extend your home, consider stealing someone else's home and sticking it onto yours. Yeah, bang them up against each other. Knock a hole through the wall. You're done. Hamilton County Sheriff Michael Wilson said the Colorado State Patrol notified his office Sunday evening to be on the lookout for a tiny house. Ha ha! Ha ha! And that it was possibly headed toward Coolidge.
Starting point is 00:09:26 What? You know in movies when there's like a speed trap and the cops are sitting in their car behind like a billboard? Yeah, they've got their feet up. Yeah, they got their, uh, playing games on their phone. Drinking a black coffee, both of them reaching for the box of donuts when suddenly, faster than you would expect, a house the size of a shoebox goes roaring past. Speeding past.
Starting point is 00:09:58 It had been taken from a far in Otero County, Colorado. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office found the house at Scola Grain in Coolidge. Wilson said, for some reason, three men were attempting to install lights on the tiny house. He said their final destination was going to be Reno County. But so it's that classic scam, right? You steal a house, you rig it up with lights, you take it to Reno. Uh-huh. Free casino. And that's legal. Gambling or not. Well, once, so, so, so, th, th, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the to the their to their their to their to to to to to to to to their their their their to to to their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their tho. tho. tho. thoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thoooooooo their their their their their, you take it to Reno, free casino, gamble all night, that's legal. Once you get to Reno, it's legal. I need to know more about the kinds of lights they were trying to install, was it? Yeah. Yeah, they neon are they Christmas lights?
Starting point is 00:10:37 Unfortunately, they didn't expound on that, which I really do. I think it's important to the flavor of the story absolutely. I'm kind of picturing the lights from the soul bass designed credit sequence of the movie casino where you get to see all of the flashing lights that they have on the outside of the casinos. That's what I'm putting on this tiny house and I'm going to turn into a casino and take to Reno. Yep. Big neon arrow pointing to the front the the the the the the the the the the the the and take to Reno. Yep. Big neon arrow pointing to the front door. Tiny casino. Oh, like spinning spinning the breadplate-sized roulette wheel. Everything is tiny. Nobody move. Nobody move.
Starting point is 00:11:30 Nobody move. One of the alleged suspects is from Reno County. The other two are from Colorado. The man also allegedly had stolen a trailer and a bobcat. He says the suspects are being held in jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property. I'm trying to think about what's the bobcat for. Trailor, probably to steal the tiny home. Yeah. What's going on with a bobcat? Is that to dig up the new ground for their tiny home? Yeah, yeah, put a foundation in. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I. I, I, to to to to the the the the their, it it, their, their, their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, Is that to dig up the new ground for their tiny house?
Starting point is 00:12:06 Yeah, yeah, put a foundation in. I find often it's a bit confusing when Americans refer to trailers or tractor trailers. Oh, yeah, right. Do they mean a caravan in this instance? They probably mean a caravan, don't they? Well, I feel like sometimes they're talking about like... They must do. Well. Well. Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do their their, do, do, do their their their their their, do their, do they, do they, do they, do they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their their their their their their thi, tho, put, put tho, put tho, put thooo, put thoooo, put thooooo, put thoo, put tho, put thi, put thi like sometimes they're talking about like... They must do. They must do. Well, here, listen to the next sentence. The tiny house is valued at $9,000. The sheriff said that the $33,000 Bobcat was stolen out of Castle Rock, Colorado, and the $25,000 trailer is from Florida. Now it's an expensive trailer but if it's a caravan. Well, because bear in mind they also call like, yeah, like a tractor trailer is what they call like a semi-trailer truck.
Starting point is 00:12:55 So sometimes when they say trailers they talk about trucks. $9,000. I mean, we're looking at some of them for a while, like before we... It's a tiny house haven't you seen the show? Yeah it's a YouTube channel that I watch sometimes where the guy goes we're gonna check out this tiny house and then he gets in there and about 30 seconds in I go I don't care about this and I turn it off and I've seen a bunch of them so. And I've seen a bunch of them, so. Sounds bad. You'll say, oh, here's the bed and there's where you shit, end of tour. Yeah, it's just there, like it's just next to you.
Starting point is 00:13:32 The house is pretty tiny. Oh, have you got eyes on the house? I do have eyes on the house. I'll just put that. I believe I've got eyes on the house inside the granary ground ground's sort of just sitting there in like an outdoor building. Oh it's really small it's like a cubby house. Yeah do they mean a cubby house? No it's a tiny house. It's very small. All right so so. There's a car and I'd say it's maybe four times the size of a truck like a car truck
Starting point is 00:14:05 And then they've got the In the large picture of just just posted I believe it is a semi-trailer cab thing Well, it looks so maybe enough to steal a house. It looks to me like like the the tiny home is sitting on like a double-axil car trailer. Yeah. Type of thing. That may be the trailer that they've been linked. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:14:35 And we're doing the journalism here. Yeah, we're, yeah. They report, we interpret. That's right. It looks just like the same same same same same same same same same the same same the same the same the same the same same same the same the same same same the same same same same the same the same same the same the same same same same same same same same same same same same same same same same the same same same same same same same same same same same same same same same the same same same same same same the same the same the same the same looks just like the game farming simulator if you've ever played it looks just like the same scenery I know what a granary is you know have you um have you played any other have you played any other? Have you played any other simulator games recently loose? No, I was considering downloading train simulator? Saw it on the PlayStation store. I was like, you know what, that looks like a good time. I have I've considered the power wash
Starting point is 00:15:10 simulator. Oh yeah I've seen that and seen videos of that. A lot of people like Power Wash simulator, yeah. Oh is it not on PS5? What am I going to do with that? He's got everything right? Yeah, it does look like it's like it's like. We'll figure this out. We'll, oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, I, I, I'm, I've. I've. I've. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I. I. I. I, I, I. I, I. I, I, I. I. I, I, I, I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I. I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I've. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. that, I've, I've, I've, I going to do with that? It's got everything, right? Yeah, it does look like it's on it. We report, you decide, about which simulator you want to play. Well, we report that Power Wash simulator might be available on PS5. You decide if that statement is true. Do your own research? We're not here to educate you. Yeah. You don't just trust anything you hear in the media the media the media the hear in a podcast. Idiot, asshole. Wiak up! Wilson has talked to the owner of the house. The owner
Starting point is 00:15:55 said he had been storing it on his farm and was not living it. You don't store a house! What's it for? Also, that could be a casino. Could be. Thought it was going to be. Disappointing. They're giving it back to the owner, which is, you know, I reckon let them see what they're doing. Sheriff said the house would be released to the owner. I'm picking, I'm picturing like a picking, picking your dog up from the pound. Yeah, kind of. Yeah. Down. Down. from the pound, kind of. Tiny house bounding out of the gate. Down, down.
Starting point is 00:16:28 It's just excited to see you. Good tiny house. Good. Yeah, I think one man's trash is another man's treasure. If you're not using it, let someone else use it. Also, how big was the house he was storing his tiny house in. Yeah, probably a medium-sized house at the least. Yeah, let's see the size of the cupboard you stash that bad boy in. Stealing a house, imagine. That's crazy stuff. Speaking of crazy stuff and the kind of people
Starting point is 00:16:58 who get up to it, it's time to check in with the fine people of the Netherlands. Although, this is also kind of a crossover-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-s-sized-sized-s-sized-sized-sized-sized-s-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-s-sized-s, the-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-sized-s, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the their-s. Although, this is also kind of a crossover segment, with the Nothing to Report Report. So I think I'm going to play the theme for the Nothing to Report Report. It's time. Oh, it's a good one. For the Dutch Nothing to Report Report report. It's the Nothing to Report Report Report Report Report Report. It's the nothing to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th th th th is th th is thi th is th is th is thi th is th is th is th is a the tho tho th is th is th is the th is the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. tho tho tho tho tho-n tho-n. thooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooos. thoooooooo report the nothing to report report report report report report report then nothing to report report report report the nothing to report report report what happened
Starting point is 00:17:33 Nothing shh so you should mind your fucking business it's the nothing to report report report report report report report report nothing to report report report report report. Nothing to report report report report report report report report. Nothing to report, report, report, report, report, report, report, report, report. Nothing to report, report, report, report, nothing to report report. Now as is quite usual on this show, you had said, one man's trash with another man's treasure, I believed you to be stepping up to the plate of that segue. Oh, yeah, you really could have nailed that one, Lex. You had it and you fumbled it. Yep, and then you sort of stepped away from the plate.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yep. Tapped my bed against my shoes a couple of times. Put the bat over my shoulders, did some twist and stretches. I just left it. Yep. Check the wind speed. And what did you you you you you th you to to th you to to to to th you to th you to to th. th you to to th. to th. th. th. to to th. to th. to to to to tho. to tho. tho. tho. thoom. to be to be to be to be thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. thoom. tho. tho. tho. tha. tha. tha. tha. tha. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. tha. tha. tha. to be. to be to be too. too. too. toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.. Check the wind speed. Came back. And what did you go with? Dutch people be crazy. Which I believe you've used that one approximately 36 times. Yeah, well it's pretty easy. He's got a slide in there, you know. One man's trash. Being another man's treasure. It sounds like Nazi loot to me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I guess so. Which one is it your. It's the the. the that. Dutch. the the th. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. the the the th. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. the the the the th. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. the the the the the the the the the Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. Dutch. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. tr. trut. trut. touch. touch. touch. touch. touch. the. the. the. the. the.. I guess so. Which one is it your, is that your treasure or? It's up to you to decide, you know,
Starting point is 00:18:52 who could say? Yeah, we don't want to handle it. 50% of our audience. Don't want to upset our Nazi listeners, you know. So we've got some a breaking news for you here from the NL Times. No Nazi loot found in East Netherlands village. My no Nazi loot found in East Netherlands village t-shirt. You can cross this village off your list folks. Yeah if you if you are currently if you at home are currently harboring suspicions of various Netherlands villages of harboring Nazi looze, cross it off. And you do keep a big list of them. We're gonna we're gonna give you a name, cross it right off. Yeah, also if you're a treasure hunter. Cross it off. Cross it off. Yep, no point. We're saving your time. That's a valuable service.
Starting point is 00:19:48 No treasure was found during a search for items looted by Nazi soldiers during World War II that was rumored to still be buried underground in the village of Omeron, part of the Burin municipality in the Bitué in the Bitue, towards the eastern part of the Netherlands. On Monday morning, experts dug one final time at two possible sites, but only an old bullet was found. Waa-wa. Taken that into Antiques Roadshow? It's such an evocative term though, Nazi loot. Yeah. Oh yeah. Like, we just don't get loot anymore, do we? It's such an evocative term though, Nazi loot. Yeah. Oh yeah. Like, we just don't get loot anymore, do we?
Starting point is 00:20:28 Plunder, yeah. The Nazis, they dropped good loot. Yeah. Has it kind of stopped being like a plot device in anything? Like, um, like, uh, you know, the Abraham Simpson fighting hellfish episode, the Simpsons. That kind of stuff. I feel like it's... Looting's out.
Starting point is 00:20:47 Not much stuff about Nazi hunting now that they've... Yeah. No one's interested in like loot from the Vietnam War. Yeah. And there were no traces of it. Or valuable jewelry, or precious stones, according to a municipality spokesperson with bulging pockets. Dropping coins everywhere. Jingling as he walks.
Starting point is 00:21:10 Shk-shk-shkshk. There was nothing, no precious stones. I have to go. Running off jingling down the street. Dropping coins as he goes. Stuffing bags into a train. Was that guy wearing a bejeweled crown last time you saw him? I think he brought it from home. This is mine, she's my crown.
Starting point is 00:21:30 It's a personal crown. Monday was the last chance that experts with permission from the municipality could search for the supposedly lost treasure. That's a weird way to form a sentence. Yeah, it treasure... It sounds like it's still, still lost. Well it sounds like they're saying there's definitely treasure and it's maybe lost and it's maybe not, whereas I think what they are saying is there's supposedly treasure, you know? Yeah, in my view, it's my personal opinion. At the beginning of this year, the country's national archives published a treasure map. Fun. Very fun. That is fun.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Cooky, quirky. I feel like you may be going to cause one of those situations where everybody gets the news at the same time and runs out and jumps into their cars, speeding off to try and get to the treasure first. Then they hop on a boat to Buenos Aires. So they published a treasure map showing the place where a German soldier during World War II was said to have buried looted gold treasure. This appealed to the imagination in such a way that crowds of amateur sleuths and treasure hunters started searching with metal detectors and began digging in the village.
Starting point is 00:22:46 Everyone's an amateur treasure hunter, right? Like, how annoying would it be if a whole bunch of treasure hunters showed up in your house? We have come to dig for the treasure. How many times, like, I don't know, let's say as a percentage, right, as a proportion, how many purchases of a metal detector do you think have paid for themselves? Not many. I thought there's a big metal detector guy and like crazy person crossover. Yeah, I think there's going to be the perfect crossover between the person who would buy a metal detector and the person
Starting point is 00:23:25 who would hear that story and immediately think, I'm probably going to find that treasure. Yeah. That could be my treasure and I'm going to make it my treasure. I wouldn't believe in myself that much just personally. I've got more humility than that. I don't think it would be me who would find the treasure the treasure. There's believing in a a a the treasure, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th, th, th, tho, their, tho, thre, thi, thre, thre's, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thre, thi, thre, the, the, the, the, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, their, thr-s, throooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, thr-s, thr-s's believing in yourself and then there's believing in a treasure map on the news. You know? I feel like... It seems irresponsible to put a treasure map on the news, right? Yeah, it's gonna make people crazy. They're just gonna go start digging in the ground which I don't think you should do that. bonking each other on the head with shovels. Boyne-o-yo-y-y-o-y-ing, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people like, people like, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, people, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. People, people, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. People, people. Yeah. There is a ban in Buren against searching the ground with metal detectors but because of the great interest the municipality decided in February that a group of experts under the guise of historians could search one more
Starting point is 00:24:18 time. Any material found would have to be handed over to the municipality but nothing was discovered on Monday. Oh, maybe it was the amateur sleuth leaving with bulging pockets dropping points. Sounds like they've crossed the, across the municipality. Because the municipality has been like, you can look, but we also have dibs on all of the treasure. Yeah, if you find it, congratulations. Gold, silver, platinum, statues, icons. Tiaras.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Yeah, they're all ours. We will be giving you an item of clothing with a fun print that says, I discovered lost Nazi gold in a Dutch village and all I got was this lousy t-shirt. That's funny, like that's quirky, that's cute. I'd wear it. I'd wear it. Yeah. Yeah, and I would explain the whole story every time anyone asked me what was up with the shirt. On Monday the Den Eng estate and the grounds of an Omarin Apple farmer were searched. Seems like a really Dutch occupation. Being an Omer and Apple Farmer.
Starting point is 00:25:25 Yeah. It does. I know we've got Apple Farmers, but it sounds Dutch. The military's explosive ordinance disposal service was on standby because unexploded devices from the war could have been unearthed. That also did not happen, according to the municipality spokesperson. What's that bullet? I think if that did happen, if they did unearth unexploded devices and cause them to explode,
Starting point is 00:25:51 I think there could have been other ways to verify that besides the municipality spokesperson. The municipality has always said that any treasure would have likely been found long ago because there were many excavations in the vicinity of the location I indicated on the treasure map over the past decades, such as those carried out for road construction. Yeah, but they weren't looking for treasure. No, they'll build in the road. Busy. Buren now considers the book on the rumored Nazi loot to be closed to be closed, the spokesperson said. Yeah, he would say th th's what someone with more lorzy loot hanging around would say. I just want to see you real quick. Metal detector for sale.
Starting point is 00:26:33 I want to see how, what's a metal detector running you? You can get a metal detector from BCF. Of course you can. Oh, and for only $1,39 or the club price of $1,099, you can get yourself a mine lab gold monster 1000 metal detector. Hang on, it's not what they all cost though, right? No, there's a $200 mine lab go find 22, a $430. Alright, that's the two-stroke version. Yeah, yeah, and they don't look as good at all.
Starting point is 00:27:13 There is also a $250 mine lab pro find 35 pinpointer, which seems to be a handheld device that you point at the ground. It looks like a a like a road flare Basically, you know, so there's different kinds you can get but the fact that there are enough of these being sold at a bunch of different price points Suggest to me a lot of suckers out there Hello, it's me. Oh boy, when I buy myself a gold monster one thousand, you know, taking out interest-free finance and I do travel internationally at great expense to a
Starting point is 00:28:45 Dutch village to try and find some Nazi loot and then I don't find anything at all that's the one thing I didn't want to happen. It's time for the one thing we didn't want to happen. This is the one thing we didn't want to happen. This comes to us from the BBC. Ultra Runner who used car says she made mass. This comes to us from the BBC. Ultra Runner who used car says she made massive error. Yeah, yeah I think so. I think it's fair to say.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Is there a rule against it? I'm not super up on marathon. Yeah. Show me in the book where it says. This is some 1922 Olympics shit right like where like no one's paying attention anymore I thought we got rid of this kind of this kind of wonderful cheating and now it's all taking steroids. I saw a I saw a news story the other day about a lady who had pled guilty to getting a fine for using her mobile phone in the car and she, you know, they send you a thing that's like if someone else was driving the car, you can nominate another driver who was driving the vehicle. And she nominated like a dead Olympian. I heard about that.
Starting point is 00:30:15 That's such a funny thing to do. How'd that go? Not great. Yeah not not great at all. She I think she she pled guilty to the crime immediately, uh, and said, I'm very sorry. She said, I was, I was going through a lot, it's going through a lot of stress and financial. I had to make a mental health. She said, uh, yeah, she played, she played guilty to it and said, yep, I just, I did this thing and then the next day I was like, oh my god, I can't believe you did that and I tried to fix it on the website and it won't let you submit another person after you submit a victimless
Starting point is 00:30:56 crime. It's a funny thing to do. It really is. It really is. Look, hey, let me just put that out there on the record. If I die and you know, maybe gonna get a couple of demerit points on your license, you can say I did it. You know? Yeah. It's very selfless. Actually, I'm gonna just, I'm gonna broaden that a bit. If you can use my identity once I'm dead for your gain in any way at all. I say go for it. I'm not using it anymore. Yeah, it's useless. I'm dead. I think as long as it doesn't uh negatively impact Theo's very sad widow. No, I'm dead. Didn't go on. Doesn't affect you. It means nothing to you. A top ultra marathon runner who was disqualified from a race for using a car Yep
Starting point is 00:31:51 Says she made a massive error in accepting the trophy for third place She got confused. I don't like you use cars dude Yoazia Zakruzky that feels to methis. So many Zeds and Ks in that name. Said her actions were quote not malicious end quote and the incident was caused by miscommunication. So Dr. Zakruzky from Dumfries took part in the 2023 GB Ultras Manchester to Liverpool 50 mile race on 7th of April. What's 50 miles? Yeah, that's a really long way. That's about 70 Ks? Yep.
Starting point is 00:32:34 1. 6 times that. No, it'd be 80 Ks. That's so far to run, dude. I think they should check everyone out that ran that. Yeah- Yeah, that sounds like bullshit. Like that sounds made up. That sounds like bullshit. Yeah. You need to ask, you need to ask to see Uber's records from the day, I think. Yeah. Show me your Uber records.
Starting point is 00:32:56 It sounds like it's bullshit. Nobody's running that fast. Don't ride in and an and tell me to me to me fast because frankly I'll be mad about it. It was later discovered that she traveled by a car for about 2.5 miles before continuing to complete the race. That's only a little bit. That's so little. That's a little.
Starting point is 00:33:16 She's having a breather. That's maybe 10, 15% of the race. What's the problem? Everyone's just so ready to cancel people at the drop of a car car car car car car car car car car car car car to to to the their their their their their to their their their their to their their their to their to the race. What's the problem? Everyone's just so ready to cancel people at the drop of a hat just because they went in a car a little way. The 47 year old GP who now lives in Sydney in Australia, well that explains it. Told BBC Scotland how she had become lost on the course around the halfway mark when her leg began to feel sore and she started told BBC Scotland how she had become lost on the course around the halfway mark when her leg began to feel sore and she started to limp. She just a small small bit out she. My tummy hurt. Yeah. The pain became so bad that when she saw a friend on the side of the course and she accepted a lift in his car to the next
Starting point is 00:34:01 checkpoint to tell Marshall she was pulling out of the race. Quote when I got to the checkpoint I I was I was I was I was I was the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the toldldld. told. I was told. I was told. Quote, when I got to the checkpoint I told him I was pulling out and that I had been in the car and they said you will hate yourself if you stop. Dr. Zaghi said. Yeah, you can't stop now. I agreed to carry on in a non-competitive way. I made sure I didn't overtake the runner in front when I saw her agreed to carry on in a non-competitive way. I made sure I didn't overtake the runner in front when I saw her as I didn't want to interfere with her race. When she crossed the line she was given a medal and a third place wooden trophy and posed
Starting point is 00:34:37 for pictures. Yeah, look. Doesn't look great for you. I think that kind of gives away the game a little bit, doesn't it? Like... But she's gonna be tired, she's gonna... They're fresh the people with the medals. They haven't run 47 and a half miles.
Starting point is 00:35:01 She can't just push them off. I reckon, I reckon let her have it as well. Just let her have it. Give her first place for being so honest. Yeah. Yeah. How about this? I think she has a winner's mindset. Yeah. She's on her gram. She's on her. Yeah, like she came up with a solution. She made it work for her. Have you considered that she may be neurodivergent? Have you ever heard the expression? Work smarter, not harder.
Starting point is 00:35:38 She was doing what a fellow mentor like you, Lucy, might do. She was doing a little lateral thinking. Yeah, she was being creative. Yeah, how do I get to the end of this course? But not feel like I've run 80 miles. It's called using your mind. You know, not everything is a physical challenge. Sometimes it's a creative challenge.
Starting point is 00:36:02 She says, she arrived the night before from Australia and said, I made a massive error accepting the trophy and should have handed it back. I was tired and jet-lagged and felt sick, sore tummy. I hold my hands up. Yeah, saw tum-tum. I should have handed them back and not had pictures done, but I was feeling unwell and spaced out and not thinking clearly. You know how like, uh old English villages there'd be like people with the names that were just their occupation, Thatcher. You know, you're looking at this next one?
Starting point is 00:36:40 So that would be what your family was known for, right?mer Mr. Thatcher, you know all that kind of thing. Anyway unrelated Wayne Drinkwater the director of the GB Ultras race I sure hope he does And what was what was your ancestor known for in the village? Well. He's thirsty as fuck. Anytime you'd walk past the creek, he'd just be in there with his face all the way in, up to his ears, just chugging, just chugging that cool, cool water.
Starting point is 00:37:21 Wayne Drinkwater said, after the ultra-marathon, he received information a runner had gained a quote on sporting competitive advantage during a section of the event. He said between big gulps of water from his two liter, his two liter, he's got that frame cream. He said, after the event, there was no attempt by Uasia? It's a crazy name. To make us aware of what had happened and to give us an opportunity to correct the results or return the third place trophy during the course of the subsequent seven days.
Starting point is 00:37:56 I love it. She's like, oh I was jetwagged, I was feeling sick. It's like a week goes by. It's sick. It's like a wheat goes by. And it's mine now. It's mine. Oh, I'd just be causing a fuss at this point. I'd be, if no one's upset by now, I'd just be upsetting them. It's when something goes on for too long.
Starting point is 00:38:15 You're like, oh, I can't say anything now. In fairness, like that type of thing is exactly my problem. Like, I've done that sort sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort that sort thia that sort thia thia thia thia thing is exactly my problem. Like I've done that sort of shit where like somebody makes you a coffee in the morning at a cafe near a place that you work and then like you know you start having a little chat to them in the morning and then I work at that place for five years and for three and a half of those years. Every day I've just been like just ask them what their name is. Just do it I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I th th th th th th like like like like like like th th th that that that that that that that that that that that th th th that th that th th th that th th th th. th. the thi thi that the. the. that's like somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody th. th. th. th. the the the the the. thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th. th. th. th. th. th. th somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody somebody th th th th th th th th th th th th th the the the the the the the the the the theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeea thea thea theea theeea thea thi thi thi thi thi a half of those years every day, I've just been like, just ask them what their name is.
Starting point is 00:38:45 Just do it. But then I'm like, no, it's been three years. Yeah, I do that. You can't do that. It's like they know my name. But it's too late. It's too late to ask their name. I've left it too long. you can just ask you or name at any time. It's not fair. But imagine saying after three years, by the way I never gave a fuck before, but what's
Starting point is 00:39:10 your name? You can't do it. Once, if you don't have it at first, you're done. I just noticed you've made my coffee before. What's your name? Quote, at the Finnish location, can one of you tell me how you think I should be saying this name? J-O-A-S-I-A? Are they Polish? A lot of Zs. Like there was a lot of Zs before. I googled just the first name by itself, and all the results are about that person. All right.
Starting point is 00:39:48 Jo-Asia it is. Pronounced Yo-Awasha. There you go. Yoasha, Yoasha, the bronze medal snatcher. Ooh, get it. It is a Polish diminutive of the name Joanna. Yowasha. Ap name Joanna. Yoasha. All right, apologies to Yoasha for mispronouncing her name earlier in the piece,
Starting point is 00:40:11 but she is a cheating bint, so no apologies required. Quote, at the finish line, Yowasha crossed the finish line timing mat, received her finish a medal and was presented with her trophy. At no point at the finish where the event team informed by Oasha that she was, quote, not running the race competitively. Dr. Zuckrowski said she regretted not clarifying with the marshals at the end of the race that she was not running competitively or on the way home or after having a shower that evening or the next day when
Starting point is 00:40:46 she woke up. Give her a break. Relax. Max 2.5 miles. Not even 3 miles. Not even 3. What do you want us to do anyway? Do you want us to execute Yoasha and bury her in the ground? Should she be buried? If so, we'd be talking about her on our segment, Carphin Watch. It's time for Carphin Watch. This comes to us from the Associated Press. Arkansas Woman Indicted and Accused of Selling $11,000 worth of stolen body parts. That doesn't really sound like a lot actually. the thousand? What are you getting for that? Are you getting like a hand,
Starting point is 00:41:46 like a few fingers? You would hope that body parts were more expensive. I'd hope they cost more than 11,000. I feel like you were just getting a nose at that point. Yeah, otherwise it kind of makes you, you sound a little stupid that you haven't been out there buying body parts like like already because they're very affordable apparently. Oh you pay the store price for body parts? You pay more than $11,000 for body parts? You never pay what they're asking for body parts. You got a haggle. An Arkansas woman has pleaded not guilty to charges that she sold 20 boxes of stolen body parts from medical
Starting point is 00:42:27 schools. That's so cheap. Don't measure it in boxes. Just jumbled up. Yeah, what's the price of a bucket these days? Yeah, just a mystery box? I'm pulling a bunch of intestines out and they're all tangled up like my Christmas lights. Oh man. You're just making it sound like the butcher's special. Or like a like the the box you get at the RSL when you win a raffle. Yeah. Look much like the tiny house I really want to know more about the box. Are we talking shoe box? Are we talking like you know the like cardboard file boxes with the handles? They're good. They're good. Is there a plastic bag inside there,
Starting point is 00:43:21 lining it or are the body parts stuffed in? Just wet. The box is coming apart in your hands. You're like halfway out to the car and the bottom of the box falls through because it's all soaked with blood and guts? Yeah, just the whole asshole drops out. If I were selling body parts by the box here's what I would do I would get myself a vacill thing and I would be like yeah I'd be
Starting point is 00:43:55 flatting them so you can put them under the bed like stack them in your suitcase. Yes yes that's right and I think people would it like you'd keep them fresher for longer for a start when somebody gives you a box that's got no that that that tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho- the box tho tho tho tho the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the box the the box the box the box the box the box the box the the the the the the the the the the that that that that thooooooooooooooooo thooooooo thooooooooo thoooooooo- their their the their the the the the the's right. And I think people would it like you'd keep them fresher for longer for a start when somebody gives you a box that's got no lid and it's full of just loose body parts. No, you want to dry them out like beef jerky. Yeah, now we're talking. I'm gonna salt them you know you want to cure those body parts. Although if you do if you do have them in the cryovac then you you straightened. I the the the the the to to to the to to to the the the to the the to to the the the the to the the the the the thease. to thease. to thease. to to to thease. the. the the theatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheatheat. Yeah yeah okay all right are you dry aging or wet brining your box of body parts here's why you need to mail bag and put to Vista calm yeah. I feel like it's seasonal. You's why you should be dry aging your box of body pads.
Starting point is 00:44:46 20. 20 boxes. Well, they're cheaper by the, cheaper by the dozen. I get the bulk price if I buy like more than 10 boxes of body pads. The April 5 in Diamond, unsealed Friday in a federal court in Little Rock, just like, I assume that's where the tiny house is. I feel like we've come across Little Rock a few times on this podcast.
Starting point is 00:45:15 Like, I think there's shit happening in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is Arkansas, isn't it? And they accuse Candace Chapin, Scott 36, a former mortuary worker. I see why. Oh, a little bit of a link there for a... They accuse her of setting up the transactions with a man she met through a Facebook group about, quote, oddities, end quote. If you're in a Facebook group about oddities like you should be on a list. Yeah you've put yourself on a list. Just make that a lot of Facebook groups should be on a list. Kmart hacks list. I think
Starting point is 00:45:56 if if you're meeting up in the Facebook group about oddities to buy body parts I'm picturing that maybe he's going to use them to like, you know how like for old Ripley's believe it or not attractions, they just they'd be like, oh a mermaid and they just have like half a fish and half half a... I'm probably not meeting up with a guy that I met on Facebook that wants 20 boxes of body parts. Me a little bit of a red flag giving me the guy that I met on Facebook that wants 20 boxes of body parts. Give me a little bit of a red flag, giving me the ick. I know I reckon it's the opposite because I reckon you know he's not into. You already know the weird thing that he's into. It's true.
Starting point is 00:46:36 He doesn't need more body parts either. He doesn't need your body parts because you've got like plenty. Yeah as long as you keep bringing them by the the body the body the body the body the body the the the body. the the body. the body. the the body. the body. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. So you've only got 20 boxes? All right, that'll do to start. That'll do this this time, yeah. That'll get me through the week. It's sort of less than most people bring me but you know. That's fine. That's all you got. You're just getting started. Oh you're a casual. Oh you're an amateur. You're an amateur body parts dealer. That's fine. That's fine. I usually work with someone different but. Yeah. Like in our DMs like I thought you said you're serious about this but.
Starting point is 00:47:16 We'll make it work. That's fine. Got to work with what I got I guess. Geez. Turning away fucking amateurs. Scott, a little rock resident, pleaded not guilty to 12 counts including conspiracy to commit mail fraud, mail fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property, and you'll never guess what, interstate transportation of stolen property. I don't understand American law. That seems unfair. That seems really unfair. Yeah, intent to do a thing and also doing the thing. And then to murder like you did it. You did the thing. You succeeded. You only, yeah, I think
Starting point is 00:47:58 like, yeah, I think like, yeah trying to do someone for like conspiracy to commit a crime and also the actual crime that's that's that's th. th. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the the to the to to to to the the the the the to the the the the to the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they. I thrying to do someone for like conspiracy to commit a crime and also the actual crime, that's a bit... It's trying to have you cake and eat it to pre-cog style, you know? Yeah. Uh, you can't do me for planning to commit a crime and also successfully committing the crime. Scott is jailed with a hearing on whether she will be released on bail scheduled for Tuesday. For what? What's a crime? Hey, much like Theo's identity, they weren't using those parts anymore. Let him have it, free for all, you know?
Starting point is 00:48:35 So there's no explanation of what he wanted the parts for. Can I make my own organ donor card that says, whoever gets to my house first. Yeah. You know finders keepers. Oh you're putting that one on the um, you're putting that on like the, not the buy-sell swap. What's the, just the giveaway Facebook group, you know? Yeah. You're just slapping it on there. First person to get to my house, take my husband's dead body away. I'm leaving it outside, come and pick it up. Yep. You've got to supply your own boxes. Not delivering. No. It's just like... You've just had like your head completely blown off by a home invader. Your phones in your hand and it's just messages coming up. Hey, is this still available? Is this still available? Can you deliver?
Starting point is 00:49:26 Can you deliver? A lawyer for Scott did not immediately answer an email seeking comment on on. The buyer is not identified. It feels like the buyer is just passing through this story like a ghost. I'm more concerned about the buyer than the seller. The buyer seems to be the guy. Oh so it says the buyer is not identified in the federal indictment, comma but what do you think the Facebook name this person was using would have been like midnight Poe or something? Yeah Steve the Reaper Koslisky. Poe or something? Yeah, Steve the Reaper calls Lyski. John and Karen. School of hard knocks.
Starting point is 00:50:08 The buyer is not identified in the federal and diamond but separate state charges in Pennsylvania name him as Jeremy Lee Pauli of Inola, Pennsylvania. Oh, they got your ass, Jeremy. Yeah. Got you. Dead to rights, if you will. For what? For what? What's the craw?
Starting point is 00:50:34 Oh my god. He didn't even steal them. He just took them from the real thief. Guys, I hate to tell you this. But if you were to go to Jeremy Lee Pauley.com, I'm pretty sure this is the guy. Are you serious? He has a website called that? Yes, as the lead preservation specialist of retired, retired medical specimens and curator to historic remains
Starting point is 00:51:07 and artifacts, Jeremy has dedicated his career to both his museum known as the Momento Moray and to his efforts in the restorative and creative works of the Pauli Institute of Preservation. And that's Paul E-U-L-E-, if you'd like to type that into Bing. Say he was doing it for science. Duck, dot, go. Through his work in the Institute of Preservation, Jomy works to produce it. Oh, you can see him.
Starting point is 00:51:36 You can sure you can see him. He's got a half his body is tattoo. He's got an eye ball tattooed, by the way, half of it, including his eyeball. He's got an eyeball tattoo, like split down the middle of his face, one side tattooed, one side not. Yep. He's also seems to have like some little steel, little steel horns implanted in his skull. He does. He's got stretched ears. Not that, look, look, folks,
Starting point is 00:52:05 body modification is not a crime, right? We can all agree. Unless it is someone else's body. I'm more. Yeah, you cross the line as soon as it's, it's, no, look, look, my actual point, body modification is not a crime. However, we reserve the right to make comments if you make yourself look like a the thri. right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, point, body modification is not a crime. However, we reserve the right to make comments if you make yourself look like a season one X-Files extra. He's 100% looks like an X-Files villain.
Starting point is 00:52:35 Like he's the, he's Jeremy Pauly, he's the tattooed fetus stealing me. I got a visit from the tattooed man. Oh, yeah, and I'm looking at his website and he's got a lot of like little fetuses in jar. Yeah, he's got some weird medical curios. He's got oddities and curios all over the place. Yeah. And the curios that they show are very small curios. Oh Theo can I just very little curios in bottles. Hey Theo, can I introduce a phrase to you that is gonna rattle around in your head for a while? No. So it's talking about Jeremy's preservation work, methods of preservation.
Starting point is 00:53:14 Focusing on an array of preservative methods such as plastination, corrosion casting, wet specimen care. How to care for your wet specimen. Wet specimen care. No. Wet specimen care. How to care for your wet specimen? Oh, you guys want to get up to some wet specimen care. Oh, I don't like this. Oh, close at the browser. He looks like a magician also.
Starting point is 00:53:43 I just want to say that. It's crazy though because I think we can very easily ascertain from this right that this dude upon being arrested would 100% be saying I am misunderstood. I am misunderstood in my time. I am doing a service. I'm doing medical curiosity stuff. Yeah, yeah, yeah, well, you know, it says on his website here, since the earliest days of medicine, cadavers have been used in understanding anatomy and physiology. Like, uh, and that preservation is very important, but I put it to you, sir, that you can't just go around buying 20 boxes of bodies off a lady on Facebook. You simply can't do it. You can't be more discreet about it. Yeah, you shouldn't do that in Facebook marketplace. You've got a meet up and chat about
Starting point is 00:54:34 that in secret terms. Befriend some old people. Mm-hmm. You're like, oh, are you're really old. You're reallythe way out. Hey, got any loved ones? Here's my personal policy. My personal policy, a gentleman never meets up with a lady over a Facebook group and buys 20 boxes of body parts from her. No. Not doing it. Uh, yeah, I mean, like, look, I think all of us, as soon as we saw the photo of this gentleman, we said yes. Guilty.
Starting point is 00:55:12 We're banging the gavel immediately. He's not going to get a great shake from the judge in Pennsylvania is he? Imagine if it wasn't him. What were the chances? Once again I have been framed simply for looking like an X-Files guest cast member. All that dude that was in like 47 Ronan and the Lady Gaga film and stuff. All the skull tattoo you know? Uh-huh. Scott was employed at the Arkansas Central Mortuary Services, where part of her job was to transport cremate and embalm remains.
Starting point is 00:55:53 The University of Arkansas for medical sciences in Little Rock has said that that's where the medical school sent remains of cadavers that have been donated for medical students to examine. The indictment alleges that Scott approached poorly, he's been entrapped. How's he supposed to resist? An offer of boxes. Come on. Hey, are you by any interest in, are you by any chance, interested in a lucky dip box of body parts? She approached him in October 2021 and began offering to sell him remains from the medical school of the mortuary was supposed to cremate and return. So it's not even they've donated them for
Starting point is 00:56:38 medical research and then they're supposed to burn them at the end and she's just... She's seen where she can add value to the chain. Reduce, reuse, recycle. We're getting real nose to tail here, you know? Yeah. Quote, just out of curiosity, would you know anyone in the market for a fully intact, embalmed brain? The indictment alleges Scott wrote to Pauly in her first Facebook message.
Starting point is 00:57:09 Don't open with... Why would you... Conversation starter? She has asked 42,000 people there's a first person to say yes. So your first tinder message. You're going to get one eventually. The indictment alleges that over the next nine months, Scott's old poorly, fetuses, plural, brains, hearts, lungs, genitalia, large pieces of skin and other body parts.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Just a big flap. Some of these boxes are not good to think about if you've got the genitals box. Yeah, are they all mixed together? Like you've got to reach your hand in, you're flipping around. You're like, oh, dick, lung. I think the flaps of skin box probably be my least favorite. Probably the worst. It's the best value though.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Just pull the tradies putting your hand in the genitals box. Yeah, Theo, I'm with you about just large pieces of skin. Just, hey, has anyone been flayed recently? Can you hook me up? That's also barely a curio. That's true, I don't want to see that in a jar. The mystery of the body. It's just a bit skin?. That's? That's? That's? That's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's that's the the that's that's the that's that's that's the the the their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their the. That's the. That's their the. That's theating. theating. theating. theating. theating. theating. theating. theating. It's theating. theating. theating. theating. It's theating. It's true. I don't want to see that in a jar. The mystery of the body. It's just a bit of skin. That's for making lamps and stuff, you know?
Starting point is 00:58:31 Yeah. Being told she's got some skin and immediately asking A4 or A3? What are you got? How big are we talking? I don't need envelope-sized skin. At one point the indictment alleges Scott sold the remains of a fetus at a discount writing quote he's not in great shape. Oh Jesus Christ. The indictment alleges Scott collected 10,975 dollars in 16 separate PayPal transfers. Gotta get your buyer protection. That's the smartest way to do a crime. Smart.
Starting point is 00:59:13 The one untraceable payment method, PayPal. I'm just gonna put it out there. I don't think I'm cut out for the organ trading business. No? Were you considering it before? You're finally facing the hard reality. I'm the hard te. I'm going gonna put it out there. I don't think I'm cut out for the organ trading business. No? Were you considering it before? You're finally facing up to the hard realities of the organ trade. Now you're like, ah, I'm gonna go off the bucket list. Yeah, it's a bit ick. It's giving you an ick? Are you also getting the ick? I'm getting a major ick from this. Getting the ick. It's a red flag.
Starting point is 00:59:46 Medium-sized ick. Yeah. Pennsylvania officials discovered the scheme after they got complaints about Polly last year. Just quickly though, 10,975 across 16 separate PayPal accounts. What's that give us an average of Theo? 700 bucks? Are you paying fees? Are you saying it's a family and friends transfer? Is that right? You gotta be, you don't want to get those fees. You don't want to cop the fees? And we're saying this dude was getting like an average of one and a half boxes a... A go, right? If it's like 20 boxes.
Starting point is 01:00:27 It seems really cheap to me. I don't know if I'm out of touch with the body part trade business. I would think they had a higher value. Yeah, what I'm asking is, are we saying that? I guess I'm trying to figure out what an individual box is going for. If we've got 20 boxes, 16 PayPal transfers.. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. I th. th. It's th. It's th. It's th. Yeah, and how many body parts you reckon you're getting in a box? It's just 10,000 divided by 20, right? Yeah. It's about 500 bucks a box. And if you are a
Starting point is 01:01:00 teenager, this question will be on your exam at the end of the year. Do you think they get more per box if it's, $, the, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, to thi, thi, thi, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thin, thin, thin, thin, thin, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to thin, thin, thi, thi, thi, teenager, this question will be on your exam at the end of the year. Do you think they get more per box if it's a matching set? I would think so. You got all of the all of the toes to make like a left and a right foot. Yeah, yeah, you don't want a substandard Frankenstein. You don't want a Frankenstein with like repeat parts, you know hey is that two right nipples? This box is all right nipples. Oops all right nipples right nipples right nipples. It's like 10,000 right nipples right nipples. Ah. It's like 10,000 right nipples. Oh.
Starting point is 01:01:49 Oh. Polly is charged in Pennsylvania with a misdemeanor with a misdemeanor, a felony account of receiving stolen property. Like, why is abuse of a corpse a misdemeanor? You don't want that on your record. I like... Why is abuse of a corpse a misdemeanor? You don't want that record. It seems like it should be worse, doesn't it? For stolen property is a felony, but abuse of a corpse is a misdemeanor.
Starting point is 01:02:15 That's capitalism, baby. No one loses any money when the corpse gets abused, I think. That's true. It's not a property crime. A misdemean account of receiving solent property and a felony account of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities. I feel like you kind of need, you need one of those like crime against humanity kind of or you know like the just offense to society type. Yeah, like this crime is disgusting. It's gross and it makes me feel yucky when I think about it.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Yeah. You need a few of those, but here's the thing, when that does actually get like rolled out and it starts getting used against people in court cases, just make sure that it perfectly matches up with my personal standards of what's offensive. Yeah. Yeah. Because otherwise, no, they they they they they they they they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, th. That, th. That, th. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it's, and it's, and it's, and it's, and it's, and it's, and it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it. And it, that, that, that, that, th. And it, th. And it, th. And it's, th. And it's, th. And it's, th, th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And, th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's th. And it's thi. And it's th. And it's, with my personal standards of what's offensive. Yeah. Because otherwise... I know they'll get that in the courtroom. I think they do that in the courtroom like, uh, now the courtroom would like to advise members of the jury.
Starting point is 01:03:15 Uh, to consider, uh, this is giving you major ike. Yes. It's stinky. Loki. for real, giving me the yik. Pauly is free on bail. Yeah. Court record shows preliminary ruling. He's out there stealing some corpses right now. He's getting after it, you know, he's fucking living life to the fullest. Yeah, look we all got a little weird during COVID, okay?
Starting point is 01:03:54 Judging by the website that it's been weird for a while, a hot minute, I would say. He's been weird for. Yeah, he didn't get that all done in one week, I think. Yeah, yeah. Rome wasn't built in a day. Cod records show that its preliminary hearing repeatedly delayed is currently scheduled for June the 7th. Leslie Taylor, a spokeswoman for the medical university told the Arkansas newspaper Friday that officials are grateful, federal authorities charged Scott. Taylor called the people who donate their bodies for medical research
Starting point is 01:04:27 quote true heroes and said they are the largest victims in the crime whilst no need to be mean because of the role the donations play in medical education and we salute them. We salute them. Folks, do you have a medical donor sticker on your driver's license? No. Make sure that if they... You should be able to sell them before you die, get a good price for them. Here's my idea. Are you talking like a forward market on your body? Yeah, it's like... Lucy Futures. Yeah, Lucy Futures. If you'retalking like a forward market on your body? Yeah, it's like Lucy Futures.
Starting point is 01:05:07 Yeah, Lucy Futures. If you're going to sell my body parts later, you can buy them now. You can put a down payment on my liver for later. You should be feeling the proceeds of that, I think. Yeah, I think so. That'd be great. Not giving away for fruit. What if, what if you could you could could, really good sort of extra high-end private medical health cover if they got to take all your stuff at the end, you know?
Starting point is 01:05:37 I'm not using it. Yeah, if you could sign up to say, when I die on the moment of my death, my insurance company owns all of my organs. But then there's kind of an incentive for them to keep you in good health. That's right. Yeah, so they can like, they can give you a really good. Yeah, yeah, we're synergizing backwards overflow, you know. Now we're talking. It feels good. That's a great idea. We're going to go to to to to to go to go to go. We're going. We're going. We're going. We're going. We're going. We're going to go go go go go go. We're going to go go go. We're going to go to go to go to go th. We're going that's that's that's that's that's th. It feels good.
Starting point is 01:06:05 It feels good. That's a great idea. We're going to go away and work on that and hopefully become very wealthy as a result. But for now, it's time for you to go sleepy bye-bye. That's right. You deserve it. You deserve to relax. Free your mind.
Starting point is 01:06:23 Let any negative thoughts come and go. Have you had your sleepy time tea? It's probably time for sleepy time tea. Lookham, ma'am. F. F and five seriquills. That's gonna kill you. Don't do that.
Starting point is 01:06:41 Consider one glass of red wine instead. Yeah. One glass of red wine and a cericle every three months. 99. you
