Well, you know, whatever, we can just get Alexa to listen to 60 seconds of your voice, and then I can just talk to Alexa. Just make a whole fake fucking podcast? I guarantee you that's within a decade is an AI-generated podcast that is a conversation happening, and it's going to have a bunch of parts where it won't make sense, but kind of like other AI-generated things at the moment, we're getting to the point where, yeah, you can probably skim like 10 minutes, maybe 20 minutes of conversation before you detect some weird shit. Would I be able to have a fake podcast with myself? Because that seems insufferable. Um, in terms of content, certainly, in terms of voices, though, you could fake a bunch of shit. You could absolutely just write a script out, and or press a button to switch a filter on so that you sound like another person, and then just fake a podcast with yourself easily. Oh yeah, we're definitely already there.

You know, on the topic of faking it, I'm just thinking I could have a deep fake fucking AI robot discussion about how the only thing gahondoms are good for is faking your orgasm so you can get out of there. It's the only thing they're good for. You know, um, you know who already, already has faked a podcast with themself? Yeah. Shari Lewis from fucking Lamchop's Play Along had an entire career based on making a fake podcast with her herself and putting on a filter for the second character. You know what I don't understand about Shari Lewis and Lamchop and Charlie Horst and all those guys? I was during this weird process, a part of my childhood, where there were a bunch of shows that I would watch all the time, and I fucking hated them. Like, I don't think I enjoyed a single fucking episode of Rupert the Bear.

I think Rupert the Bear can fucking go to hell and die. I think I've seen every single fucking episode of Rupert the Bear. Uh, I've seen a lot, I've seen a lot of, the deal is you watch them all, no matter what, but yes, there's a bunch that were, there's some were good and some were shit. Uh, Lamchop's Play Along, I definitely just zoned out, but it still is formative enough that it's in there that I'm like, yeah, that was, that was some, is that, is that a Canadian bit? No, Americans know what Lamchop is, right? Like, yeah, no, I think Rupert is like British Canadian. That's, that's getting in there. Because he was a British little shithead and he had the scarf.

Um, uh, I want to say PJ Ashley's Playhouse, which, yeah, totally, I'm sure that, that, that the, the, the YTV PJ show got exported to America at some point. Um, that's another, I don't know man, when you say PJ. Yeah, exactly. A lot of Americans just, the brain turned off. The show where the host is talking to themselves via characters or like puppets is basically what we're describing with faking an AI or faking a voice and doing a fake podcast. Really, it's already been established. Are Muppets the first VTuber? No, but they are a form of VTubing.

Yeah, yeah. Muppets are a form of VTubing. You can't pretend they're not. Um, yeah, everything Jim Henson. Yeah. God, I love the Muppets. I wish I could hug every Muppet right now. Um, except, except for Bert.

You know what was weird though? I was too young to understand like that it was a parody of a variety show. That was the one thing that always escaped me was like, I would tune into the Muppets show and want and expect to see like, like adventures of Kermit and friends. You know, and Big Bird and Grover. No, not, not Big Bird. Well, I know, but like they're, they're tangentially related. Like they're, they're friends and they know each other and all that crap. And then it was, it's just a fucking weird ass anti variety show.

Yeah. And then, you know, in Statler and Waldorf would make fun of it. And it was just like, it was making, it was, it was a parody of like all the, the variety type shows that, that were on before then. But I was way too young to understand that because to understand a variety show, you need to understand the concept of like late night. You know, from, uh, pre-SNL fucking Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, you know what I mean? Like there's a lot of referential shit that you need to get to get what Muppet show is even going for. And it's not just Kermit and friends. Like three years ago, I was like, I'm going to watch the Muppet show.

And so I watched a couple episodes and I'm like, this is a puppet based parody airing in the seventies of a type of program that no longer exists. That I never really got into. Yeah. And so as a result, it is the weirdest fucking thing in the world. And I think that's why they did go on to eventually make shit like Muppet babies because they didn't really like kids weren't like me. We're not exactly getting why the show was so all over the place and why there was no like continuity to what was going on. You know, it's, it's like you establish the, the characters and their relationships with each other. But otherwise, like I don't understand a bit that's a reference to fucking.

Yeah, old variety shows, you know. Yeah, Kermit and Miss Piggy are talking about about how what their fucking stupid pregnant front babies are going to look like. And meanwhile, the news slash comes on new Reagan got shot. Let's sing a song like what the fuck is what? Yeah, what the fuck is this? Yeah. And then, you know, and I would say that like that also includes like, even though variety shows kind of went away, like they came back in the form of like skit shows and things that are more like less on a stage and more outside. Like, you know, anything like Benny Hill fucking Monty Python, all that shit, you know, counts and Chappelle show counts, even though it's on stage presenting film.

There's bits, you know, and then Key and Peele and so on. So it's like, that's basically what the variety show ends up being. Yeah, it began the sketch comedy show. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. But Muppet show was like enjoyed for its characters, despite not getting that bit at all. Then you get shit like Muppet Christmas Carol, which is probably the best version of Christmas Carol.

I like, I know. So good. So I know like the movie is also super beloved, but I completely forget what happens in it. Like, I want to say I saw it like on VHS at like a friend's place once or something, but I have no memory of the movie. I just know that it's like. Well, Michael Cain's a fucking piece of shit. He doesn't want to give anybody the money. And then Gonzo and Rizzo are narrating it.

And then it's just the same fucking story, but Muppets. That's it. It's, it's, it's like fucking Muppet Treasure Island. But the difference is his fucking Long John Silver and that is fucking. Oh, what's his goddamn name? He's the best actor ever. He was in Daniel Daniel Lewis fucking. No, no, Tim Curry.

Oh, Tim Curry. Okay. Tim Curry. And Tim Curry is just fucking Tim Currying it all over with the Muppets. So God, I fucking love Tim Curry. Fucking. Yeah. Absolute goat.

The thing that. Okay. Muppets is a brand. I don't know if they're doing this. I'm assuming they're not. But if I was the brand ambassador in charge of Jim Henson's Muppets, every one of those characters would have a Twitch channel with their own V tubing set up with their face in the corner doing LPs on a regular basis.

Oh yeah. It's crazy that if that's not already doing Cookie Monster needs to be doing LA beast style food challenges. Gonzo TV. Right. Animal just spending three hours on a drum kit while people make requests. And then animal just fucking botches everything and goes crazy. Feel like people that didn't grow up in the 90s are never going to understand just how fucking weird it was that the commodification of every property ever into a Saturday morning cartoon show was like our rated films like Robocop and Terminator and Aliens. Yeah. Being turned into Saturday morning cartoon shows so they could make a shit zillion dollars on sheet piece of shit toys. I want to say Robocop and Alien are probably the most egregious ones considering

the source material like like shit Robocop. You can you can sell toys but you cannot show the kid the source material Robocop at all top of the list. Alien probably second. Those alien toys were pretty good. Yeah. They were based off the Dark Horse comics. Yeah.

Predator coming in up third which is why they all like hung out with each other and constantly overlapped but yeah and toxic crusaders toxic Avenger that shit as well just the weirdest fucking like marketing push but some but like at some point if someone sits down and just goes like here's a bright and colorful version of it and it's going to go and like the kids are just going to see the commercial and be like oh yeah that thing that's cool but don't think too hard about like the fact that you can't go watch where it came from at least if your parents are doing their jobs you know I suppose.

So I told the story before and it was the absolute most confusing thing where I wanted an alien toy because I saw some kind of alien thing so I get the alien toys and I got the Queen and I got Hicks and Hicks came with a sticker on it and the sticker was hard core and I put the sticker on his rocket launcher and I turn I asked my mom what the word hard core means and she like blanches and goes um and ended up explaining to me that that is when the camera is this is the real explanation my mother that is when if there's a kissing scene in a movie they don't cut away when the people take their clothes off and I went

why would he put that on his rocket launcher and she's like I don't know it's just us and I'm like what okay I don't get what I don't get it I'm six that poor lady failed to grasp the situation and you could have just gotten away with saying it's a really it means extreme you could have just yeah you could have just done that it's really extreme that's a she she was doing she was doing her best she was doing her best yeah that I mean we can all we can all laugh at the horrible situations we put our parents in by asking them the wrong question at the wrong time like my parents like coming

and I'm like oh no I'm gonna have a baby and they're like what I like well you told me that if you love somebody a lot and usually and they're like oh mm-hmm okay well and then that no and then that episode of Family Matters is on TV where Urkel kisses Laura and she gets pregnant every time they kiss and it reinforces that fear I don't remember that oh that was a thing there was a there was a there was a weird sequence that show went on for it got weird like there was a whole the whole bit where essentially Jaleel White no longer wanted to be plagued as Urkel where he just became Stefan to be Stefan exactly and then they split the two

apart and go into multiple seasons of like him trying to denertify his his reputation there's a point might have been it might have been either a dream sequence early on or something but like there's Laura and Urkel are married and then like they have a billion babies and then every time they kiss and she gets pregnant again that stuck in my brain I remember seeing that and went like what that's that's weird mm-hmm that's super strange I think it was I think it was one of those like yeah one of those dream sequences I bet somebody on that show thought that was really cool to think about but maybe but I but I doubt it

because that was pre-internet so people didn't even know what they were into yet but it definitely had you're right well he nobody nobody nobody knew what they was in a lot of people knew what they were into but a lot of people didn't know until they were shown that moment and went oh right remember the Minerva mink conversation right I do yeah so this is the thing it's like the internet didn't create all of this weird weird new stuff unlocked what it did was allow it was allow it was allow people to go hey what if I did this and put that message out far enough that somebody would actually respond and go hey I could do

the e-reader train I ordered a candle will be here tomorrow I want to get back into reading books on the regular mm-hmm there were two things that spearheaded this the first of which was you describing your journey back through berserk mm-hmm and I was like man I would really love to read berserk again I one don't want to read it on a computer screen which is how I read the first time because that was miserable and hurt mm-hmm and the second of which is I don't have room in my life anymore to you know bookshelf up like you know a massive amount of new volumes right when I was a kid and I read all the time I unironically

had like eight or nine book bookshelves and the only reason that like cut down to a point of feasibility is that there was a used bookstore in the town that I grew up in that would give me like good prices on like the all the fancy books that I would read so I would just swap them out right so I want I want to get back into to reading books I want and the second part was not just berserk it was I was sitting on the internet and I was scrolling through Twitter and I saw what appeared to be a hot clip from a new fantasy TV show in which a young man wearing what looks like a shitty medieval outfit fires an arrow at a guy who

looks like Lucifer from the TV show Lucifer in that he's wearing like a suit okay tailored suit but his face is like a tree branch and then the arrow goes into his face and he's like haha I pushes it into his face and it's CG and it looks like the shittiest fucking crap I have ever seen it looks like like space at three o'clock after Relic Hunter with Tia Carrera oh boy just oh boy trash the Relic Hunter Mortal Kombat power hour right yeah and then I scroll I click through and I go what is this from and I go oh my god that is from the Wheel of Time show oh man that physically hurts it really really hurts because I never

finished that series right I read it and I was halfway through a book and then Jordan fucking died and I'm like well I'm just gonna give up now fuck this and then like ten years later or whatever like Sanderson finished them but I'm like oh I don't have those fucking books anymore I can't write so it's like I never finished them and this is my thing and I can't be smug about it because I didn't actually read Wheel of Time I read about two-thirds of Wheel of Time so I can't sit here and look at this terrible TV show and be the adequate amount of smug that I need to be about how much better the books were

like the the whole yeah I asked some people around and everybody basically recommended the e-paper thing they they do with the screen is like the number one like oh yeah this is not gonna hurt your eyes okay perfect yeah it's weird because I'm excited for that but at the same time I don't have it so what can I tell you yeah there's something in fun about the idea of like the newer best brightest screen technology actually being a problem for reading and the need to go back to like game and watch technology you know to basically be like oh yeah you need to be able to read and not fucking hurt your eyes you know like

that so one of the things that really surprised me is I'm asking for recommendations for e-readers and I decided to go with Kindle just because buying books off Amazon is by far the easiest and there are some folks going like oh that's so stupid you get a good any Android tablet you can like Kindles can you can even side load an app into it yada yada and it's like I'm getting it to read things reading things on a tablet fucking sucks it's terrible especially at night like it's just awful like it it it I'm old now sir I'm almost 40 I need to protect my my fucking 2020 vision by not blasting the

brightest possible screen of myself at midnight when I want to read my stories yeah I think I said before that like the the most brutal experience I've suggesting myself to was reading Jojo on a switch on a Wii U tablet sideways god like as I had I didn't have any other kind of tablet really and like for to sit in bed all I could do so I fucking scrolled on a goddamn Wii U tablet like it was brutal that is that is the worst reading experience I have heard in ages yeah no blue light no good no good and then I then I found out that you can read the one piece on the Kindle so maybe I'll start reading the

one piece I hear that manga on Kindle is not as great but I don't imagine it'll like be that much of a hindrance I just I guess the idea would be like maybe some like more detailed spreads might not convey so I I looked into it the reason why mangana Kindle is not as great is not about its presentation it's about its ability to get like the shonen jump app or it's about like acquisition oh okay it's not it's not about presentation okay okay there there are there is like one Android e-reader that is like specifically touted as the best one for manga but it's only like a minor improvement it's

just like Kindles can't do color right so your color spreads are going to be worthless but like 99% of manga is in black and white okay it's really frustrating though because when you're looking at when you're looking at like a video review on your LCD computer screen or your phone for a technology that is about having a different quality of screen like you're watching people handle it in person and you're like yeah I don't I can't fucking appreciate it looks like a fucking screen in the bit like it like how could right and I remember using I remember seeing a somebody's Kindle back at the grocery

store back before they had back lights and being like oh wow that looks pretty good but yeah so we're gonna work I'm gonna try and be a big adult and go into the book reading part of my life where I read things and no stuff that I didn't just you know scam off the internet I feel that would be a good like direction for personal growth I have returned to the reading as well and I am I am enjoying it more on that one and we switch over but yeah okay yeah like I need I need to like I remember going through like all of Carl Sagan's books and being like man I should have been a goddamn astrophysicist well it's too

late now so I'll just so just read about people a lot smarter than me finding out cool stuff about Venus and just be like I could have I would have found it I would have I would have discovered global warming had I been born in 1952 and thought that you know space astronomy was cool and video games didn't exist so I couldn't so I could focus my attentions on something that mattered there you go oh well oh well hey let me ask you a question really maybe maybe this doesn't happen to you but do you ever you ever have the situation where you fixate on something new that you want to do some new hobby some new item some new whatever

right and it will be four days from now that you will be able to go on the trip or go to the restaurant or read the book or whatever and then every time you sit down to do something else you're like yeah I fucking hate this I want to do the thing that's in four days because I'm in that place right now so like I did some streams I was late a bunch I got stuck all over track oh man it's been such a month it's not such a week but like every time I sat down like oh I'm gonna play Sunbreak right which came out this week I'm like yeah I don't want to fucking play Sunbreak I want to start reading fucking Wheel of Time again yeah there you go I went out

to a field because they're supposed to be an area that was really great for kiting and we went on a day where it was just unfortunately not windy enough and it was kind of in this industrial park area that leads to like a nature park area and it was anyway we got up on a hill and it was just wasn't windy enough to get anything going it's just not going to happen huge huge disappointment so I at least I you know got the steps in for the day but came back home and I've just been like motherfucker I've been denied a kiting session and all I want to do is get back out at the next good weather and do a kite yeah you're kind of stuck in

this same place that like surfers get into you just gotta wait for dude let's let's go down for the weekend and then you get there and you're like great the fucking surface shit on the day that I assigned to it yeah and when you get fucking kite blocked there's nothing you can do you're gonna yell at the sky like you just have to go home sad with your kite sit there and hope that tomorrow is a windier day you know I'm kind of I don't mean to steer it back I'm kind of fascinated what my reading speed is gonna be because I used to just tear through everything I could get my hands on and I look back and I can't tell did

I read really quickly or was I just such a pathetic loser that I didn't have anything else to do with my time and I think it might have been both I remember when I was drawn in and I got like I used because yeah my aunt used to provide us with the books she's a librarian and she gave us reading material for our entire lives and I would just read for fun and then when I was bored or whatever that I would stop but it wasn't until I got into the D&D books the Dragonlands series specifically that I was like I don't want to stop and I would like go eat dinner quickly to run back to the room and keep reading so to me it

was like no I'm trying to to marathon these books it is absolutely crazy to me that from like that we both got way way into the Dragonlands series of books like I don't and and like I just I'm just on a whim I just typed in Dragonlands into fucking Amazon and what do I see but Dragons of deceit Dragonlands Destiny's volume one this title will be released on August 2nd 2022 hell yeah and I'm like really hell yeah they're going like yeah still yeah holy shit because there's people like it's a it's a tasselhoff fucking story yeah are you serious tasselhoff perfect he still survives and he keeps it going

even past the the the fallen moon they like because it's because people like you and me that perhaps didn't get there's a bunch of people like you and I that then ended up getting jobs where they had to stop being children and so they stopped caring about all that yeah but they still kind of have the memory of the thing that they enjoyed and then that might still be an appeal if you want to go back and be like oh shit I remember tasselhoff I remember Karaman and race Lynn you know like you want to they they are in that place so I think like basically like it's almost like when I think of like with my brother

where it's just like we all we were into the same media up to a certain point and then he has a stop where new media is no longer entering because media consumption is no longer the main thing that he's doing with his life therefore you're just gonna have a fond memory for those things and anything around them you know it's it's just like there was there was a period of oh man I really like this dragon lance book so I read it and I would go to that used bookstore and I would go I wonder if they have any others and the answer was they have more than I could ever conceivably fucking read in yeah my entire childhood yeah

the wall-to-wall shelf of D&D books I remember and with the marble spine cover yeah and it was kind of this place that a lot of people got into comic books when they got into comic books is like well what kind of comic do I want to read because mm-hmm it's just functionally infinite so my do I want to read one about dwarves here's 48 dragon lance books that feature dwarves as primary protagonists mm-hmm do I want the historical okay here's legend of humor then the cast the minotaur series oh those are old those were I read those back when I was still I know but like just even then like but dude like and now

people like the thing you're describing take anything that you currently still do that you did a long time ago and it's just people never stopped there's people that are that stayed in you happen to stop and then you're looking back on it and going holy shit but it's like yeah in the same way that you know I don't know 14's been going for a while or you know any other any other series that you've been like following adequately for the last 20 years yeah there's there's parallels dragons of autumn twilight came out in 2000 god that was years and years after summer flame Jesus fuck yeah and if I'm not mistaken that's from the like

twenty two fucking years old so like I think though when it comes to Dragonland specifically there's still like there's still only a handful of like trilogies that are like mainline things and then all the rest is supplemental material you know so kind of like old trilogy prequel trilogy new trilogy it's kind of there's like yeah there's a tight collection of what what is that maybe nine ten mainline books actually hold on more that's more like twelve and then all the rest is supplemental it's like do I start reading Stephen King novels so I can have more to chat with my mom about because she's

read every Stephen King novel damn and I've read zero see but if you go down that road then you're gonna have to read about how they all connect and you're gonna have to you know get drawn into the the overall world then I get to be pissed off by decades of the shittiest adaptations possible just get into that dark tower shit yeah and then you can watch the ones that he approved of which are even worse where sauce tank redemption is pretty good apparently like what I remember being told that like a lot of the Stephen King adaptations like the ones that people like tend to be the ones where they just stopped

myself as being a complete no attention span having fucking piece of millennial garbage so I'm definitely gonna read something when you do like don't have like sit down away from your phones and shit and like don't have a like something playing on your headphones like try to oh no try to lock in on it that's that's definitely read book yeah yeah repair the the attention damage that's been done by our everything our modern things cool um alright so so in addition to that I did play a couple games nothing too crazy I played the new isomium files but only for a few hours didn't get that far things to know it

can this is gonna sound really strange it controls a lot better like a sequel should yeah but it's a fucking visual novel so it's a weird it's a weird type of thing to describe the cursor is a lot smoother text comes up a lot faster when you click on incidental items in the background the auto play for for dialogue has a slightly shorter gap in between sentences so conversations flow more naturally I just just little tiny things I totally get it the Danganronpa games which are also basically visual novels mixed with court games are like you feel the improvements between how you read dialogue in all of them as you

that they are it improves as it goes on it gets easier to read and mash through text I totally understand yeah the other thing is that I feel like the game is fucking with me in that in the first isomium files there is some kind of gigantic mysterious event that took place six years ago that no one will talk about and you constantly and I mean constantly run into people describing hey you know I gave up ownership of this warehouse six years ago hey you know that explosion at the chemical factory that was six years ago and so on and so forth to the point where it's very obvious that all these disparate

elements are actually connected in some way so you're you're you're you're diving into the mystery and every time you talk to somebody and they give a detail and you all it's six it's six years ago wow the premise of on the files to is a series of serial murders in which half a body is discovered and that at a later date these the other half of the body is discovered and you are playing through two time periods that are six years apart so you are doubling down even more strongly every single detail of the case in the future portion of the game is relating to the case from six years ago and it's just like what

why why does it always have to be this singular fucking distance in time from the current thing it's so bizarre if you think it's funny Uchikoshi is that it I mean anything like that I've I feel like I've been trained to just go this is silly but I can suspend it with a question mark until the last ten minutes of the game you know well it's just the other interesting thing is that because of the time difference the original part of the case starts immediately after the first game so you're seeing all the characters that you already know as they are and then the second part of the case takes place six years later so

you're seeing all the same characters but most of them are adults at this point or at least older okay so that's a fun little thing it has one of the best mystery game features I've ever seen in my life it starts you off in a quiz show inside a dream sequence which is totally unreal and fourth wall breaking but what's important is that the game show announcer teaches you how to use the controls and then asks you hey are you familiar with the Cyclops killer serial killings that took place etc and that's the serial killings that the first game is about and if you say yes they go are you sure and you go yeah and they go in

the final scene someone got shot in the stomach or the leg who was it and you have to type their name in and you get it right or not and then they ask you who was the culprit of the Cyclops serial killings and you have to type in their name and if you fail it the game says oh you clearly don't know about those don't worry characters involved in that case won't talk about it huh but if you do get it right characters will now make reference to the first game of the first game and massively detailed spoiler guard wow so that you can play the second game in the series while being totally free from spoiler damage of the first

game okay but wait what if you say I like MGS 2 and then I like I like MGS 1 well here's so probably so there's a there's a real answer to that because I got the first question wrong because the first question is who somebody gets shot in an arm or a leg and I was like oh it was this person and typed in their name and go no that person got shot in the stomach nice try though and I'm like really you have fucking built-in answers for all the wrong answers that's pretty good that's pretty good that's right people were telling me that there were actually separate responses based on whether or not you use characters first

or last names yeah okay like in a game that's all about like a visual novel a lot of that makes sense it'd be cool if you know if someone was like oh do you need to know the first one going into the second game in any other genre and you could be like it you can get you can choose whether or not it matters you know yeah and so in the in the case of this you are explicitly told both from a character talking to your face and a news ticker of random information goes don't worry we really promise we really really promise the first game has apps the first case has absolutely nothing to do with the second case now don't worry

about it now the only thing that might be like weird about that is if you're someone who was hoping that the first game would be more relevant you're being told explicitly that it's so not relevant that it can be removed and not change anything yeah which good cuz like I don't want I don't like that that idea better closed off yeah okay all right good it was it fine that all the possible drama out of that series of events was fully extracted okay but yeah so that games it's really cool I really want to get more into it and the other thing the only other thing I did this week was I played Sunbreak Sunbreak came out

Monster Hunter Sunbreak and it's more a it's more Monster Hunter do you do you like Monster Hunter do you want to fight more monsters here's more monsters to fight in Monster Hunter and also here's a new move or two for your weapon it it it's it is what it is it's good I like it it's it's I don't I don't explain this it's delivering upon expectations it's like it's like you know you go to the grocery store and there's Swiss cheese there you go well why is this really good Swiss cheese and the the deli guy this is fucking it's Swiss you know what it is yeah yeah it's Swiss cheese do you like that or not okay all right that's that's

an animal and I'm going to slice the parts I want to eat well he did you ever eat half an apple no well yeah sure but I mean if you're talking about the whole brick and biting into the brick you're not going to eat the whole brick you're going to put it back with some bites in it and then you can't serve that part yeah so you know I used to make fun of my mom for just cutting off like a rectangle of like a piece of cheddar at dinner she'd be like oh I just want a little piece of cheese and then I'm like walking around the house grabbing like a dry spaghetti or like a tiny piece of cheese myself I'm like oh I don't know

when this happened I don't know when this happened everything I make fun of my parents for ever I now do every single one the dry spaghetti stuff is weird but I will admit that like a big thing that my friends and I all did back in the day was the ramen packets crunching them up and eating those raw and I remember being warned that like they're going to cook in your stomach and then you'll get sick and it's like that's not true that doesn't happen that's not a real thing but powder in the in the in the ramen bag crunch it up and shake and then just eat them like chips was kind of a thing that we did as kids when you fucking

that's what you that's what you're that's what you could afford it's the cheapest bag of chips you can buy yeah I feel that's actually like a lot weirder it was it was it was pretty it was pretty popular where where I was and and you know once I followed fashion and I was like yeah that's not too bad that being said I did know a lot of kids that did that yeah a lot of people here did that seems like a lot of people in America perhaps have no idea what we're talking about so maybe this is just a Canadian thing or maybe this is of an East Coast thing but like a lot of kids here used to crunch up ramen with the

sauce and just eat it like that out of the bag I think the I think the part where that gets really strange is that I remember being in high kids were doing elementary school and then in high school teachers would see them or cafeteria people see them and be like do you want some water and the answer would be no no I like it like this okay like and yeah like it's so so for our friends who are going this is awful this is grow woolly what is wrong how gross what it's like it's a it's a poor thing then it's people who are trying to afford food eat it this way and perhaps if you didn't have that happen you might have

you might have been well a little doing oh doing okay you might have been doing a little better like the reason I eat dry pasta isn't for the taste because it doesn't really taste like anything it's for the crunch if I could eat crunchy food every day I would crunchy food is the best food all right one last thing yeah the new Borderlands game tiny Tina came to steam and some friends of mine picked it up so I picked it up as well and it's probably the first good Borderlands game in like many years because I know like three or four people including myself that like how Borderlands plays and

enjoys those games and went to go play Borderlands 3 and the writing and acting in it is so repulsive that most of them like quit or refunded it as fast as they could because it is Borderlands 3's right it is one of the only games I can think of and which is like actively ruined by every single line of its own dialogue mm-hmm it is to the point that when Borderlands 3 goes on sale a Google Docs starts to go around about how to delete all the voice files Jesus Christ so that the game glitches out and just plays like just skipped through entire sequences that bad that wow okay I heard you guys mentioning it and and

tiny Tina's Dungeons & Dragons whatever mm-hmm it takes place in a fake ass D&D campaign and it's still it's still a little cringe but removing it like putting itself in this different context that's a little silly mm-hmm definitely helps take a lot of the sting out of it I heard good things about and having having just an A plus celebrity voice cast really helps so you're playing with Ashley Birch who's playing Tina you're playing with a robot voiced by Wanda Sykes and you're playing with some douchebag voiced by Andy Sandberg and the dragon king is voiced by Will Arnett so like that like it makes a big

difference it makes a big fucking difference to have these these actually funny actors doing this toned down version of the Borderlands style and also it helps that it's a fantasy idea it's an interesting thing to be getting these gun like a shotgun that just has floating runes all over it and stuff like that yeah and but that is absolutely the same thing as Monster Hunter it's like do you know what Borderlands is yeah this one takes place in a Dungeons and Dragons yeah no I know some people that were working on it that were basically just like yo this is this is pretty cool and I'm like I'm I don't know much about

the franchise but that's good that's good I'm glad that it's better the franchise has struggled with awful writing just awful writing also I'm surprised people in the chatter are asking who Ashley Birch is she's an accomplished voice actor hey ash what you're playing was some time ago but since then I suppose it's mainly been like yeah like a lot of voice gigs all over the place really um what I wonder if Anthony Birch wrote this game I hope not cool hmm yeah it's been pretty much it if you guys want to check out stuff this week go down to twitch.tv slash Pat stairs at pretty normal week and

about reading yeah so I was very delighted to hear about the reveal of Trigun Stampede which is going to be coming next year and in that I remembered I was like you know the thing that I want to exist the thing I've been taught I've been wanting for years but I know is kind of an impossible project is that like basically Trigun Brotherhood Trigun Maximum Brotherhood is just not gonna happen right it is a pipe like done by Madhouse that is just perfectly like it just it's the stars aligning would just never really happen for this and I kind of made my peace with that idea so I was happy that they're like oh we're gonna

we're gonna try doing something again it felt as if after what is it Battlefront Block Brigade I forget what it was but the last night night how series that came out it didn't really blow up that much it was probably like the least like most popular of like the night how series that have come out and over the course of the different years but like taking a look at it I was like okay they're doing a new Trigun and it's gonna be it's gonna be CG and like that trailer I'm like yeah that looks that looks fine that I'm okay with that I hear you know I didn't see Beastars but people said good things about Beastars

Beastars is great so I you know the team involved on that like I assume is gonna do a competent job here the there's definitely that like thing going on with the way Vash looks that is a I'm it's it's this entire category of like Luke or Ed discussion of like like zoomer look on characters is either gonna be kryptonite or inoffensive to you and for for that type of thing to be what Vash is doing for those who it's kryptonite I'm seeing a lot of people that are like I hate to look I don't mind it at all it doesn't bug me I'm I'm just you know I'm happy for more Trigun and like I think the animation

doesn't look like the bad kind of CG it seems as if it's you know do doing decently we're not in that berserk territory but definitely not but and then the main thing of course to while I'm just touching on it is that content wise would always be a bit more of my where I'd be concerned and everything shown in the trailer for Trigun Stampede seems to just be in like like flashbacks that are a part of the regular canon so it seems as if that's like event wise it seems like it's gonna still just be doing what we know but it'll probably just adapt maximum in its own way or it'll you know choose to go into different parts of

the the original story people are throwing the word prequel around but I looked for a source on the word prequel and I cannot find one there was a panel that came out that did not say the word prequel so I think that's just a speculation based on seeing a bunch of rem flashbacks in the trailer but I don't think that's necessarily accurate yeah so I mean people saying that he looks yesified I think they're dead on whether or not that bothers you like I think it's alright yeah I don't it means that I wasn't super attached to his old design yeah it is fascinating to see the the reaction to bash be split between I

hate this I want the old design I'm indifferent and I want to impregnate his bussy sure like that that seems to be the three paths yeah if they're there if they're showing a bounty that's that's less so he's not the 60 billion double-dollar man then there's a whole arc in between you know the the the drop and the actual like backstory of him aging that there's that they can go into the anime kind of touches on it a little bit maximum fleshes things out more but they definitely yeah I looking at it it's it wouldn't be surprising if they decided to like not it's not going to be maximum but it's going to be a

new interpretation of that material perhaps you know and night I was thinking it so I trust what he thinks is going to be cool with that though I definitely thought back to the manga and I was like man so much of it is a kind of weird blur in my head and a lot of my guy read back then it was a blur in my head and but like what what what what's it with this that has it like super like there's a lot of details I can't remember like what was going on and oh I remember like the show I watched early that was super formative for me too like I'm watching back and I'm like oh my god so many things aesthetically

about this are like what I grew to love in like my manga like preferences and character style designs and yes the way I was reading it back in the day it was after the after I watched the show was the manga was not done yet I was getting the actual raw Japanese books flipping through them and then reading either wiki summaries that were not complete at the time or looking at threads where they were doing amateur translations of it because there were no cancellations yet Jesus fuck I was I was really in there trying to figure out what was going on because the series just like it was the only way right I was

you kids nowadays you don't know what it was like you want to read this thing from a different country your chat your odds of actually knowing what's happening in it are basically zero right so it eventually got translated and released and everything and I grabbed those and that was nice but back when there was no other option and there were no scans of it either your only thing was get a raw copy and look for a companion thread on forums on the Internet to help you and you know that's it you had no choice it was that or you know you want to watch coolers revenge you can watch it in Japanese or Spanish that's

your options take your fucking pick you know so anyway and then eventually like yeah going through going back through it with the with the copies here I'm just going yeah I'm going I'm I started again read through all of original Trigun and then the first couple books of Maximum and it yeah it is fucking it's one of those it's one of those those series that I'm really glad where you go back to the the work and it's like the creator of this it was not a case where like the adaptations picked an art style and the original art style was like just too rough to really use or appreciate I feel like even though like for example

attack on Titan I haven't seen a ton of the the manga but I've seen that like the art style gets not good at points yeah and that they had to kind of like standardize a high quality thing that is not what the originals look like you know I've seen enough of the attack on Titan manga to tell you that like it the artist like generally pretty mediocre if not outright bad Trigun Maximum and Trigun look fucking excellent but they're also very different from what the show ended up being and then weirdly because of what the show ended up being that character design style became what Naito's characters were known to look

like so Gun Grave has the same style and then BBB same style as well and and you know like it was but you go back to them like yeah just it's great it's it's one of these things that I as as I'm reading it I'm also thinking you know this is also probably impossible to adapt faithfully oh yeah because it gets insane it gets so much more insane than the show does like everything happening that like everything happening in the show is like the first bit of the story and then it gets into like wild fucking like intergalactic mad like it's crazy and you can't really not without an insane not without a ridiculous budget or

just a dream team of like what David production is to Jojo where they're like we are diehard fans that are just gonna do everything as faithful as possible we're gonna do it to what your memory is of these moments because we just love it that much that dream fucking result is just like not really plausible here so whatever try gun we get I think is gonna always be adapted in some way shape or form or it'll be like Badlands rumble where it's just like a wacky adventure Vash goes on and don't worry about it you know but like the the the I think the ridiculous pipe dream is more extreme in this series case than it is for a lot

of other things where I'd be like oh the perfect adaptation would be amazing you know but yeah anyway I'm gonna see if I can get back around to that although weirdly I I'm missing some of my copies of the later books and looking online there's some stupid prices because some of them went out of print so there's a whole fucking annoying thing going on with that we're like yeah suddenly a $30 that's one of the other reasons that I decided to get a Kindle because like I was you know I'm looking at Berserk right and it's like hey can I get these volumes no just just no is the answer you want to pay 10 times the price for this place

of this book you know like anyway yeah so we'll see and I really I know that they're going oh new cast and new world for Stampede so that seems to imply that like Johnny Young Bosch is out and that sucks but like I hope when the English comes around they might consider because I know that if they're not going that way in Japanese they're probably not gonna go that way in English but it'd be really nice because I mean you ever know it was also I didn't know this but like Johnny Young Bosch talked about it and did say that like that was his first major role in anything really yeah and I was like holy shit I didn't know that even before

Power Rangers he might have been on Power Rangers but what did he say I think that was his first major voice acting role I don't know if that considers if he's including acting on Power Rangers as a what he's saying but he kind of implied that it was like a big deal for him as yeah his first voice acting yeah okay there we go so I hope that like they don't feel that like oh yeah we got a when it comes to English we got a flush it all out and go new again because yeah man like he also Johnny Young Bosch is also one of those voice actors that still sounds the same as well and yeah pretty much and can completely pull

that off and made that dub like better than most dubs were at the time so people are pointing out that for Full Metal Optimus Brotherhood the Japanese cast changed but they used all the same actors awesome okay so it's possible excellent I really hope so yeah um it's you know for anyone who watched Dragon in English like it yeah it's a defining thing how good the voice acting is and how good of a job he does and it's it's part of what we love about it you know in nostalgically I suppose um so yeah Try Gun Stampede okay also how long is Try Gun like all of it the show or the manga the manga the manga is two thick

volumes of Try Gun and then maximum is one to fourteen so okay so 16 volumes total technically 17 if you want to count the first two as the three talcumons I mean we talked about and I'm sure I am I am literally over a decade late to this we talk about Berserk and Berserk's pretty long is it like what 42 volumes now I want to say yeah maybe 41 yeah 40 or so yeah so I just on a decide on a whim just typed in the word one piece and the first result was volume 97 and I'm I'm I am dumbstruck dumbstruck with how much goddamn one piece there is like Dragon Ball out dates it by decades and still doesn't even have any anywhere near

not even close Try Gun people say it's good yeah silly Try Gun is notably more tame than that and I think like it was interesting because yeah the way it was made was the anime was planned and ended before the manga did and kind of like in some ways influenced some of his decisions with the story to just go a different way and with it and then it ended up taking its time and when it got there it got there you know but it's not one of these forever stories that you'd have to commit to so it also is nice though to look at Berserk and be like okay if you're putting the volumes three and one it comes down to like 12 13 books you

know yeah it is a little even though it's it's like it's a lot less intimidating than like your entire shelf just stretching into the horizon so it's it's just like I asked so I'm getting freaked out by the algorithm because I feel like it just every time I talk about something with anybody not even type it just talk all of a sudden my recommended fucking bullshit on my phone starts to show up and I saw an article that seemed to like mock me and it was now's the best time to start reading one piece because Otis taking a break right now for a month or so and he's gonna start the final story arc

and I'm like I think the best time to start reading one piece was like 25 fucking years ago you get like you know what it is though and the article surmises that you can catch up before the like what the moments in that I recall for one piece that have been the major like should I start reading one piece moments that people everyone has those questions in their life that they ask themselves multiple times at least four times a decade we've if you haven't started it and you're listening to this you've asked yourself should I start you know and those moments are always when there is a something that

goes down and people are like yo one piece chapter one thousand discussion spoilers holy shit right and it's like okay some stuff's popping off cool there's something happening that's getting people talking about it that's a big deal to the story and this is another point to be like should I start you know like that's that's what it always comes down to is like a major spoiler event is pop it hard yeah so there was like the tune for shit and then there was that famous character that died that I'm not even a mention I don't know anything you know the one that died in one piece I know nothing about

nothing um but yeah so working my way through that and just very very happy to see that like the that that the try try gun is a thing they're gonna try out again and it's not gonna be tried out in a like cowboy bebop live action kind of context and it's not gonna be tried out in a berserk 2016 kind of context but like it can still be bad but so far I I'm so far I'm on board with what I see I would not call berserk 2016 being tried out that was given to like a legitimate amateur director and is is that is a low-effort piece of shit that is like god damn it like the bit with guts just south parking off the screen god damn it

holy shit yeah yeah yeah um I'm also happy to that like rereading try gun as well and seeing how like the the things that were aesthetically cool and and and edge back that are still just sincere and pure and what they're going for but there's still these great moments of like the story is all about about you know Vash the stampede the pacifist that is being challenged on his pacifist views because they're practically insane in in the setting that he's in there they're they're farcical they're stupid exactly exactly and like the world is screaming at him constantly about how stupid he's being about what he's doing and characters

are just pushing that further and further and further and upon rereading I'm like I'm glad that still is conveyed I'm glad that still comes through that it's like you complete fucking idiot like really you know and it like like like okay well what what about when the situation is not so kind of dry what about when it's like you're what about when you are proven proven almost objectively wrong you know what then and yeah like you know I mean depending on how early on in the story you are like the like his response might just be I don't know I'm gonna break down and cry because I haven't figured that part out

yet you know I'm I'm I'm trying to adhere to a philosophy that someone special to me imparted and I don't but I don't really have practical it's impractical and I kind of don't know what I'm supposed to do when this really really really doesn't work you know so like yeah that still comes through pretty pretty strongly and I'm happy that's the case so that's try gun I also had the special event we did a twitch rivals me versus max capcom fighting collection special and for those of you who have not yet had a chance to check it out the yeah there's gonna be a highlight video I think is coming soon that I'm gonna

post but it was a big old five-hour thing so I understand if you didn't get a chance to go through it but it was really hype it was really fun I want to I just want to tell you woolly that Paige and I are legitimately impressed at your class and professionalism in the face of advertising hardship okay all right so you know sometimes you need a big sip of water sometimes you do what you got to do I do I do think like some of what you're seeing is zooming in on what is my resting bitch face right a little bit you're zooming in on clear emotional journey that is taking place yes but it is nothing is surprising to me it is

simply it is taking place the way it was described it would and yeah you know you know shout outs to you know James James who was there and handled and did that did that part of the thing and then me and max just had fun talking about the games you know so tell me how is capcom fighting collection capcom fighting collection is a wild like it is it is a wild unexpected product in that it really is like half-dark stalkers and then we're just gonna bring in cyberbots and we're gonna bring in red earth and all these things that it seems like a bunch of weirdo picks it's all the weirdo picks in one because they know like hey

if you're into the weirdo picks you you're gonna want to come take to take a look at this and it's the weirdo picks with rollback so that's great and something unexpected that I thought was really fun was when you go to play online you well so first of all you have all you got yeah the all those games we mentioned and then the dark stalkers games which breaks up into like five games and it gets really confusing because like there's only one that's really appreciated and the other just to like Japan only releases that were released simultaneously so vampire hunter to and vampire savior to were released at the

same time in Japan for God knows what reason I have no idea it's an it's super weird but mid 90s capcom was kind of crazy like that right that golden era of like yeah we can put out anything we want and it doesn't matter we're gonna put in rock the arcades it reached the peak when they just went like we're releasing two entries in the same franchise into the arcades neither of which was beloved as much as the original vampire hunter aka dark stalkers three vampire savior excuse me visav but the collection does something really cool that I was not expecting when you go play online in that you play

ranked and then you the for what soon as you go into online casual or ranked or whatever you you have a list of a checkboxes for which games you want to play and every game you you check it then simultaneously cues and checks for other people and then you can rent you can queue into any of the seven or eight games okay at the same time so to me that is full acknowledgement that the people who are getting this collection are down to play like some weirdo trash kusuke capcom games yes and just just want a taste of it no matter what flavor it is so when I'm I I went in and I selected cyberbots and I selected

puzzle fighter and I selected dark stalkers and then I went go and then I would have matches in all three games just intermittently as they were became available because those are the ones I felt like playing you know that is absolutely god damn bizarre that is so cool it's so cool the one thing that's bad is I had a weird moment where I was in the middle of a puzzle fighter match and then a dark stalker's challenge came through and I accepted it and it brought me to dark stalkers oh no so there was a absolutely weird bug where two challenges for different games overlapped each other and dropped me are you

sick of this go play this yeah dropped me out of the current game I was playing to pull to load up the next one but it works really well and then it also combines that with stave save state tech so if you're playing arcade mode and then a match cues up it'll save the state of your arcade mode let you jump in play online and then spit you back out where you were so that yeah so basically you don't end up having you end up having an experience that's similar to playing arcade mode someone pops a quarter in and when you're done with that match you resume where you were and it doesn't resume in the middle of the fight

it resumes at the start of the next match oh that's perfect it's exactly emulating an arcade yeah very smart very smart with that so and then yeah like I said every game is using rollback so we how is that rollback well everything we played over the course of the rivals event went smoothly with one exception unfortunately in the Hyper Street Fighter 2 match between Jimmy Bones and Justin Wong there was some there was at least three or so rollback moments that hicked up and it was like okay like in a game like that it's the most important for it to like be as smooth as possible every other match

smooth out of all of it that was it that's pretty impressive everything else everything else seemed fine I do know that like like super turbo players that need that perfect experience like they still might not be the best one there so they get really intense with it I mean in a in a couple of years those guys are going to be old enough to do the point where they can't tell the difference I mean you say that but shout outs you know Arturo like he is doing like multiple monitor tests he's doing multiple resolution checks he's doing yeah I know but it's just a couple years until I see him on primal trying to get

through party finer for fucking Geruda clears the retirement home awaits there's a sub waiting for you if you could prove that you've been in the FGC for a long enough time like your sub is automatically paid for but anyway so the event itself was a whole lot of fun shout outs to those guys shout outs to Max and to Trivals folks we basically were able to get two teams together of FGC peeps yeah and yeah it was you know I kind of I picked some homies and some some you know some some strong players that I'm that I think could do it and that I'm friends with I got Jimmy Bones yeah who's you know a strong SD player I got

at best a bond who is the whole black box pulled back to block guy and strong he taught me how to play Darkstalkers and you know strong vampires player I got Kizzy K one of the strong anime players in the Arturo Sanchez of course who classic Street Fighter and overall poverty you know Team Spooky all that stuff got at some of those old games so really good at the classics over on Max aside he got Justin Wong needs no introduction certainly yeah got automatic strong third strike player JM Crofts as well who is another streamer that's I did fighting game Jeopardy with him actually our jam party and yeah another

nose nose is classics and super strong ST player that that just that like was top eight at that ST for an EVO shit was a DJ pepperoni no no no God sorry I'm drawing a black as a misfit I think it was like plays Kami and yeah just silent scope excuse me silent scope my bad so like team of like absolute killers on that side as well and we were basically gonna have a series of matches between our teams so what that means is each player rotates through fighting the other team and then as you as each matchup as each winner wins the loser is out and the winner goes to the bottom of the list and then you keep

rotating so we did that and yeah the way it went down was we started with we started with Vampire Savior which Esteban went up first against Justin Wong and now I'm like okay this is what you're here for and he lost that first match against Justin and I went holy fucking shit we're in trouble oh god you know you know Max got the killers where we got we got some strong players but oh boy oh boy this is the game plan of why he's here and it was it was rough and then like yeah we we lost in Vampire Savior and then went over to pocket fighter which is if you remember the puzzle fighter sprites of like the little cute chibi

characters of Ryu and all that stuff yeah it's the fighting game version of that where they like cosplay in the middle of their combos and stuff cute game really fun looking back on that too is really fun to just look back at the Capcom references that are all over the backgrounds and you know the overall just like the celebration of multiple Capcom characters all being in a fighting game where there's no other companies they have to fight they can just fight against each other and yep how that would be a great idea for a fighting game it was when it was in this game it was a great time when you had so many you know

and in the home version on ps1 they had the like other mode that was like full of more references to tons of Capcom characters and you got Mega Man in there and all this fun stuff where just a giant beautiful roster that doesn't need any other companies at all to be a fun game so that was that was good we enjoyed that but yeah Justin had some crazy Chun Lee tech with the link in pocket fighter there's always tech because the thing to understand but like really come on the thing to understand is that these games on this collection are the games that people back at Chinatown fair were playing in between rounds of like

third strike or ST right when you're not up when your quarters not up on the machine what are you doing you're over at fucking puzzle fighter doing diamond drops you know doing diamond glitches because that's how you kill time before you get back on the machine so yeah between that and jam crops that are really strong Zangief who's also considered pretty strong in that game as well yeah are we were we lost in pocket fighter as well so I was like oh my god it's going badly so that's Vsav down pocket fighter down and then we came and then next on the list was Red Earth and with Red Earth it got real funny really quickly because

I don't know what you remember man Red Earth is a weird fucking weird fucking game the first CPS3 game that that ever came out and it was it was meant to be a first it was meant to be a fighting game RPG right that's what they were going for they wanted you to fight the bosses to learn the pattern come back in and like use your magic and your your newfound levels to basically do almost like shadows over Mistara in a more dedicated fighting game sense you know make sense that's what they're going for play it you're like oh well when you fight max level you have a real fighting game it's just you've only got four

characters to pick from and of those characters the one that I think is super cool the ninja is fucking bottom tier is fuck so completely unviable so it comes down to Tessa the witch and Leo the thunder cats lion oh motherfucker and the main man yeah and it just so happens that like our first match it was like I think it was like jam crops versus like Jimmy and Jimmy goes to pick Tessa but like to get them to level 32 which is max level to have a real match you have to put the password in and we all made sure to get the passwords to everybody to make sure that they knew to type in the passwords and he fucked up

the password no problem restart the match let's go back in a second time second time he goes in fucks up the password again god damn it level 32 Tesla Tessa versus level one Tessa not even a fight just a complete joke you have like three moves everything does double damn it's just it's a joke you have one bar you can't you cannot do anything so that's a wash up next Esteban comes in and he picks Leo and finds what we call the button and it's a big shop it's active it's a it stays out it's a point and I don't care what you're doing I'm gonna press the button and you're gonna have to deal with it

samurai showdown style right the good old I love having a good but yep the good old CVS to you know the cow maru fierce or the or the crouching fierce with sagat just rough the fuck you so found the button beat I think it was Justin and then Kizzy and Arturo are like a word okay let's go all Leo's versus all Tesla's on the other Tessa's on the other team and just all button all button button to victory T Mufasa as I called it everything the light touches is active yeah it was a good time we were having fun with it and you know me and Max are just yucking it up and talking about the fact that like I'm

speaking to a large audience about wars are detect like on what planet did all this useless information that I've been cataloging in my head like have a use that it would finally be me explaining to thousands of people about wars are ultimate defense walking about this fucking trash about this trash as fighting game loved every minute of it and I I love those classics and I appreciate them I am super happy for the opportunity so that was that was great we took wars are with the button then came I'm glad you took it on the game that really mattered it absolutely did next came Hyper Street Fighter 2 which is a collection that is

you know everything from World Warrior all the way up to ST and fortunately a very real game a very real game which again reminder you know one J-Wong and Silent Scope are parts of that team however Jimmy Bones still is one of the nicest rogues and rollbacks aside managed to take Justin and take the win on that then the rest of the team went okay I think he's lost his set but Arturo who is one of the greatest Sims of all time came in and just did what he does what he's been doing for the last 27 years and just rocked Dalsim and cleaned up and that was it we took Street Fighter 2 so congratulations yeah that was pretty

exciting we had a we had a solid 2-2 there now the way the event was set to go was there's going to be the team matches and then it was just for exhibition not even necessarily as a tiebreaker there would be me and Max playing against each other in the games we had selected but it turns out because it was 2-2 at this point it was going to be a tiebreaker so that was like alright the tension has built it up in such a way where it's like it comes down to the captains and I was like that's pretty fun that it actually you know went that way so we started with Cyberbots and okay again I don't know what you remember

about fucking Cyberbots but I'm looking it up right now I don't remember a thing remember Jin from Marvel 1 yeah and he did the bloatia punch yeah he calling the robot I think I played like a total of 18 minutes of that game in my life yeah a lot of people do either they either know Cyberbots or Armored Warriors which is the other like Mecca it was a it was a scrolling besides scrolling beat them up where you could use three players and you could combine together into one big robot it's pretty sick but like yeah it's a similar kind of setup with the way the mechs are and if you knew one or the other then like you kind of that's

what they were similar in that way but Cyberbots was the more pure 2D fighter of the two so yeah Cyberbots we played and I went in I tried to mess around like there's a character that is like literally his name is Santana and he looks like he's and his artwork is him doing the Avdol Jojo pose and it's just like it's ridiculous with the references like they're they're not even hiding what they're into so I picked him went in with not the power pilots make a difference anyway went in with tarantula one of the robots tried to rush max down couldn't get it in he was using bloatia he was doing his can uppercuts

because that's what's gonna happen so I switched to the grappler and I fucking grappled my way through and I took Cyberbots so well that was pretty hype I graduated congratulations oops sure it's appropriate given the given the context yeah so that was that was pretty hype I came back on that one then we played puzzle fighter and max is absolutely better than me at that game and was cleaning up but I want to figure do you want to sweep that because you're Tetris mania no because I play I don't I didn't play puzzle fighter that much as a kid I played a ton of Tetris and I kept playing Tetris I never put

that much time into puzzle fighter I be not beyond like kind of learning the basics I never played competitively that that that often and I know that JJ plays a ton of it and was teaching like max the tricks I remember he was saying like because yeah she's big into like all kinds of puzzle games I'm into some puzzle games but I like I cover Tetris attack and I cover Tetris unfortunately not puzzle fighter I certainly wish I did though but you know I was as someone who came in and you know tried to just kind of learn the ropes I think I was like okay let me try to hold my own and I think I got yeah it

it wasn't a complete rinse like I did manage to get a couple rounds in there and I think I got a game I forget how it went but there was a there was at least one solid really hype come back because of the way the system works is like when you're about to die if you get the perfect block you can just make your partner die as well so like your opponent die like the momentum up until the last one is very very that's so weird so that then it was one one and then the last game well so it was supposed to be according to the original thing it was supposed to be Night Warriors right and I believe we were going to go that way

because that was the one of the it was like Vsav is the like the known and there's no competitive game but it didn't have Donovan in it so I think like you know I think we're kind of going to go that with Night Warriors because like it did but it's a very weird franchise where every game plays completely differently from each other and as I was describing like the weirdness of like the the later Darkstalkers games when you go into like some of the early ones characters don't even do the same things so like the character I was play I play like the fish Rikuo slash all bath he goes from being strangely attractive

Merman precisely he goes from being a motion character to a charge character like he just they just completely reinvent what he what he is and what he does that's why I could never get in a Darkstalker since every time I picked it up I was absolutely fucking baffled as to what was going on yeah um the rules change drastically from every single one of those games the only consistency you're gonna really have is like Dimitri and Morrigan are gonna be Shodos you know you can you can fireball soul fist and demon cradle all you want but then the weird but then when those two fireballs clash with each other

instead of clashing they push against each other and depending on the move properties and the duration and the strength of it it'll push one all the way until it hits you because they don't clash like normal fireballs clash because it's a weird game and it's a weird ass franchise Darkstalkers is nuts dude um yeah I that's fucking weird I remember like like when we like we we both we were playing and we had that moment where we saw them push up against each other and just we were both like what the fuck is happening like what it's like oh yeah no this was made when like they made a street capcom made alpha and alpha

was popular they're like let's just try to create the idea of what hypergames will be and change the rules entirely and things like that are happening you know anyway we were supposed to play Night Warriors and then um much to our surprise they decided to go chat's choice on that one oh no so they ended up doing a poll where me and Max just sat there nervously going oh god we did not we have no practice oh god what's this gonna be oh no and in the end there was a push that was going between Street Fighter 2 which I think that he would have preferred and he was mentioning and then Vampire Savior right which is what

the winning choice was they wanted to see more Vsav so alright let's oblige we jump in there and I'm like I have no prep and I'll do what I can I'm just gonna have to remember what Esteban Esteban taught me last time we did I get into fighting games on it and I could not unfortunately I could not hold out and Max picked well I can't I'm looking at the list here of Darkstalkers games yep because you said Vampire Savior and I'm like I'm not super sure which one that is so I'm on the website yeah and I still can't I'm looking at Vampire Savior and I can't even tell which one it is in what order of the fucking release

it is incredibly confusing I'm gonna do my best to sum this up real quick in Japan Vampire Vampire Hunter Vampire Savior right right one two three in English Darkstalkers Night Warriors Darkstalkers 3 Vampire Savior right yeah then in Japan only Vampire Hunter 2 and Vampire Savior 2 simultaneously released okay but on the list for the Capcom fighting collection it's neither of those it's Darkstalkers Night Warrior and then Vampire Savior without the fucking word Darkstalkers so the problem is that the subtitles this is already confusing and then the subtitles make it even worse because Darkstalkers the

original game is known as Darkstalkers the Night Warriors in English in Japan it was just known as Vampire the second game in English comes out and is called Night Warriors Darkstalkers Revenge Darkstalkers Revenge I guess it's a tiny little text so the subtitle confuses everyone because it's a different branding entirely this game in Japan is called Vampire Hunter then Vampire Savior comes out in Japan and is called the Vampire Savior the Lord of Vampire and in English they translate that to Darkstalkers 3 Vampire Savior of course to confuse even further Vampire Hunter 2 still says Darkstalkers Revenge and

Vampire Savior 2 still says the Lord of Vampire but the words used for one title are the direct title of different games subtitles this is way worse than the Final Fantasy 6 stuff this this is this is probably the worst one it probably has something this absolutely has an effect on part of why this franchise is also kind of unknown larger you know it's kind of like it's that other franchise where the morrigan comes from because they keep using morrigan right so let's let's say I casually played Darkstalkers back in the day like an average person not like one of us video game freaks yep this leads to the

situation of a friend of yours going hey you like Darkstalkers right I go yeah cool hey I got this new I got a kit collection let's play Darkstalkers and you start to play it and go what the fuck is this this is not what I played this is not what I played yeah and then you're talking your friend and you can't you legitimately cannot figure out what game you even played back in the day furthermore there's other things where the sequels switch out characters and bring in others because excuse me the animation was too hot too detailed on Pyron and Whitzel so they switch that out and then they brought in Donovan and

Bebe hood but then in other game like then they have to switch them back for Vampire Hunter 2 so like it's this weird thing where there's also character roster changes where the two character select screens look identical but two or three of the spots are replaced with different characters entirely for memory issues as well it's it's just it's batshit it's fucking batshit and like I want to say that there was an anthology game that was released where you could just pick the all characters all versions eventually but for some reason they didn't continue to just release that as the final game Dark

Stalkers because that's what they should have done is the moment they made that anthology edition it should have just been this is all we're porting from now on right Street Fighter 2 got that treatment Hyper Street Fighter 2 instead of porting World Warrior championship hyperfighting as an ST they just put all they give you the all in one here's every version of the character shut up what if you want to if you want to play hyperfighting just pick two hyperfighting characters done and pick hyperfighting for them and you're done so they had that for Dark Stalkers but they just didn't port those going forward and I wish

they did it would really simplify this nightmare you know but and anyways in any case that's what happens what version is nightmare Dark Stalkers the the nightmare Chronicles no no it is it is it is a literal nightmare but or figurative nightmare anyway so I don't even know if anyone knew what they were voting on but at the end of the day they voted and that we played Vsav and yeah Max's Wolf aka John Tailbane aka Gallon because don't forget that these characters also have names that are region locked as well if you thought if you thought dictator claw and boxer were bad right all back to this

Rick Huo Gallon John Tailbane Zabelle Lord Raptor and I got baby Bonnie hood versus BB hood Belletta I don't understand I don't understand Lele versus Hisenko like that's what that is yeah I thought Senko was like the sister title or whatever and then Lele was the character's name and I thought Hisenko was his was one of the ghosts and then her sister was Lele and it's like no that's not what it is that is also region locked naming it's so fucking weird man so yeah we say fish we say wolf we say you know whatever just keep it simple and that was

it that is terrible that is like remarkably terrible but that being said it's nice that like the chapter can be kind of closed almost in terms of like a rollback PC version of these old weird 90s Capcom games is now available so what you need to do Capcom is do a rollback PC version of all the non weirdo games perhaps perhaps but right this is this is the this is the weirdo batch to test right well it's it's it's more like you know it's to satiate it's to satiate the weirdos and we're we're out here there are some fiends that are like I don't give a fuck about any of these fighting games I've been

jones in for some puzzle fighter and those people are really happy those people are right also because puzzle fighter fucking rules it's really good it's really good and that new mobile one that came out no one we don't talk about that that weird thing some time ago I think I don't know if it's even still listed or not it's horrifying they went with like she be characters but they were like CG like like flat 3d it was it was God fucking but yes hopefully the next time around you can pull in some of the weird 3d fighting games that they had the tech romances and plasma swords and star gladiators

of the world the power rain the power stones you know those those need some love too so any power stone didn't age as well as it could have but you know we had some fun playing it the other day like I popped it in not long ago and it was like it's it's still pretty fun I like one way more than two admittedly so like I think like that's a big part of it but yeah so when it's soon I was done with dragons dog muck and he go on to make a new rival schools and then and then he can just go back to his home planet I know that they know because Akira and is assigned that they know and during Akira's announcement they kind of made

implication to the fact that they know you know so we know they know it's just what are you gonna do with that they know that we know that they know yes but I don't know if we're gonna hit your layer four yeah anyway we because we definitely don't know that they know that we know that they know no and then of course the person who doesn't know anything wins the exchange yes rival schools what is that it's like it's like a high school soccer game yeah sure sure whatever whatever whatever so that's it you know it was a pretty hype show I'm glad we glad everyone enjoyed it people were very excited and a lot of

yeah shout outs to the teams as well everyone good job good good hustle good business good work that was that okay last little bit DNF dual came out I saw and I've been playing a lot of crusader online oh he's actually not I'm surprised he's not over represented in my in my matches yeah but he's over represented in cool people Bible quotes yeah DNF dual is it's interesting because here's what I can say now that I'm looking at the final version and now that we have training mode you know and all that shit one if you release a beta for your game and you don't give people

access to training mode then they're going to find infinites on day one this is just what's gonna happen I saw I saw that like there are within hours broken ass parts of this game there are that there's like a an air floating infinite normal string that like striker does at one point there's some weird shit that they're gonna need to patch but this is a result of having only online beta tests if people can lab they find the stuff that you can fix in you know then the stretch between release day and day one between going golden grand day one but they didn't want to do that well this is what happens right so yeah some

infinites are in the game I assume those are gonna get patched the fuck out they're already banned or they'll patch new ones in so everyone every character can have them stay excited for that the things that I thought were oppressive about Crusader that I really enjoy that ain't shit because it turns out since they they didn't really adjust any of that they kind of made it so that you can't do as many reps they made it so that you flip out a little earlier in the hammer all combo that I do and I that ended up being nothing because 75% of that roster can lock you down for even longer than that and be more abusive in yeah tons of

ways it's crazy right so this is one of those weird things where it's kind of like remember Rising Thunder in how it was like one of the easiest to get into fighting games one of the easiest like introductions basic in its systems but yes then once people start getting advanced at that they find out how to abuse that system and of course you know be as efficient as possible and yeah because it was this thing of like well we need to allow the game to be easy to operate for anybody that's brand new so they can get into it and what happens is the people that are moderate to skill to take this easy operation to create

completely 100% full proof lockdowns that can't be escaped or situations that are easy to do that can't be dealt with so what you kind of end up seeing and I mean it's a it's a it's a move that like I think it worked in Rising Thunder's case and it's and it's it works in this case but you have to be ready for it is you put a mechanic in that just allows for what we call sauce to be applied at any point in time right you go okay the game is fairly fixed because being easy to execute and being easy to introduce and understand the systems means your your variability is going to go down but

you add one little wrinkle in there and in that case this is cancels at any point at any time with the as long as you cash in your grey life and that then allows you to do some long combos or long block strings which stall for time which lets you build up more mana which you can then cast to continue locking down and being really oppressive so my all this preamble is to say that currently I'm online I'm doing ranked matches and in the high diamond tier it is instantly become a like three mistake game so it's fun I just while you're talking I'm like I want to get a better look at this I go to a random

tournament footage that happened yesterday and I skim through let's find a random match and as you're describing a three mistake game what I'm seeing is hitman versus launcher and I'm seeing hitman just lock launcher down into the corner with a block string that's like 15 seconds long yep only for launcher to guess correctly and knock him out of it and then start locking him down from full screen yep for the entirety of the remainder of the match yep so that's what this game is huh yeah it's I get to play until you force me to stop and then you get to play until I force you to stop one-player game and if I interrupt

you at the right moment it's now my one-player game absolutely yeah and what a fucking weird fucking fighting game it's wild in that like there was some of that in there was some of that in the fucks it called Jesus Christ it's already gone for my brain Psygames whatever blue blaze blaze not not blaze blue grandblue grandblue grandblue grand be bluebly yeah grandblue had had grandblue had a little of that but nowhere near this amount this amount is way more like what dragon ball has right dragon ball fighters levels of oppression when you when you decide to spend all the resources to stay in on someone you know

it is yeah and like I'm playing a character like Crusader where like you can't just speed your way through things I'm seeing this shit in the loops even just skimming this that are just like what if I just did the same special six times in a row yeah if you've got them the MP for it right and MP as you take damage you start with a hundred and then as you take damage the less life you have the more MP cap goes up so right before you die you get to two hundred and when you have two hundred and you've got a big beam or some crazy missile in the air that'll track you can just keep throwing them out you know and so what

it comes down to on the defensive side is because there's no bursts you can either do a like an alpha counter or you can roll or you can do a DP you can do your dragon you sure you can that everyone has you know and that's it those are your options or just or just hold it this looks like a cross between Sailor Moon and Fist of the North Star Fist of the North Star is not the worst comparison because people do just go on forever with those combos absolutely the one-player game into the one-player game where we take our turns yeah yeah I can definitely say that that's a comparison

that works here I think I'm just watching Swiftmaster fucking start the match with this oh the rap yeah yeah just do it over and over and over for the whole match Swiftmaster is a character that's made for the audience to go you know like it's made for the rhythm yeah no everyone locks you down for 15 seconds everyone has insane oppressive nonsense and you I hope you're like patient enough to feel like you're ready to deal with that because that's where this game goes but when you start it as a beginner it is simple basic and one of the most beginner-friendly fighting games for sure I'm I'd put it out you know I'd put it

up there with yeah like I said like the rising thunders of the world you know there's even the ability to like if you press the tilt plus forward plus magic button you'll do your forward spell but if you do a Hadoken instead you'll do a forward spell that will recover just a little bit faster in terms of how fast you get your mana back so I like that because that gives an incentive to like to be able to do the spell on reaction yeah value yeah and it's not taking away it's not making your fireball a better fireball it's making your resource come back they're making the cooldown less lower you know similarly there's a block

button so if someone's switching sides and crossing you up there is a button you can hold to avoid that but the skill comes down to knowing when to switch to that button or not well this really is like every match I'm skipping to is is just like my turn no now it's my turn like that like over and over and over back and forth this does this game have neutral it has it does but it lasts for a half second and then neutral is over right you said like you said fist of the North Star has neutral Marvel has neutral but what that nooch ends very quickly nooch doesn't last nooch is fucking you know we we are watching the

winners final there was neutral for four seconds and I'm now watching combo into a lockdown now it's the other guy's turn yeah so Jesus Christ so it's kind of wild I'm in I'm playing I'm enjoying Crusader a lot so I'm curious to see where they go with this but I can't believe like something that was designed to be so accessible was also designed to be so oppressive at the same time this is so filthy it's it's massively easy and massively oppressive everyone feels like they're kind everyone feels like they're high in a tier list that you know ranks between s and a minus you know every character seems to be equipped

with the ability to elucidate the emotion what am I supposed to fucking do here and it apparently this is what dungeon fighter online is like oh yeah dfo which is the source game for this right is a online like beat em up mmo and you kind of have a lot of that feeling and the way the bar works and mana and spells are caught are a lot like that so they're being faithful while allowing aiding to create a fuck you know a reasonable fighting game out of that feeling that you get when you use those characters and that's important because if you really really funny if you main these characters in dfo and then you grab them here and

you felt like annoyed with the translation that would suck that wouldn't feel that good you know so I like in order to for this to work I want all my bullshit and give everyone their bullshit so that's it everyone gets their bullshit and now everyone has to deal with everyone else's bullshit what was also interesting to learn so yeah this dude I knew back in the the old days on the wild old fighting game message boards this place called higher voltage was fucking crazy he made this video about like what an introduction to dnf versus like from dfo players what they've been playing for the last

couple fucking decades men has been into dfo for years so I've he's been telling me about it he's been like dude like yeah you should check it out there's some cool shit yeah that seems this kind of thing and I finally was able to understand what is going on with the name and the classes and the characters in the world of this thing because I was just like but what the fuck is happening and why is it so weird sounding and what the what kind of fucking name is dungeon and fighter and why is that like I'm gonna blame fate for this so not even know it's older and simpler than that back in the day there was maple

story maple story was popular then yeah I guess I think it's like next song or so okay whatever these guys came along and they're like yeah we're gonna make our thing but we're gonna do it and it's gonna be kind of inspired by shadow over mistara so we want to make a game that's part shadow over mistara part street fighter it's gonna be like D&D and it's gonna be like street fighter it's gonna be dungeons and dragons and fighter dungeon and fighter dnf D&D that's it they literally just cut the words in half and slap them together you know that's it right okay we've been saying D&D for years and we never thought twice about

it because it's older than we are so that's all it was yeah then the classes in the game that we have are not characters because they're there what you're seeing in some of the characters is not different potential characters that you pick you're seeing different end routes of the same character so there's a character called slayer it's a swordsman who has a possessed arm and that's a starting generic class you can choose to then advance his class to berserker and then he looks like the guy with the red sword and the bloody arm and he's doing all the blood moves or ghost blade is another job you can

advance to and they're both coming from the same branch character that is a weird way to do it yeah but it's fucking interesting because that means some of the characters on the on the cast for example you saw hitman right did you see the other guy that's a troubleshooter he has like did they both have a gun and a sword they both have like a kind of you know Zaddy features and you know they look all sharp and suave they both look like they could be easily modded to look just like Max exactly which they have been actually the amount of the mod is already out and they're both from the same original character the same base job

those are two advanced classes okay start from from the same starting class so that makes perfect sense in an RPG it just seems so bizarre when you apply that logic to a fighting game it is you know but like I like that I now that I understand why they look that way and what they're going for it's pretty fucking cool so turns out that crusader is like a is an advanced or promotion class from a priest right but the but the other thing you can do with a priest is you can become like an exorcist you can become like an Avenger which is like using the demons to fight the demons or you can become a monk which is that

same crusader looking Jesus guy except he puts the hammer down and uses it as an area buff and then just gets out his fists and starts punching shit dem C rolling and boxing alright and I'm like motherfucker like what are you doing to me by telling me about this class like I have never had this feeling of immediately picking up a toy and five minutes later throwing it down for the new toy that's not even out yet because now I need a monk you know it's so it's an interesting little thing like I like that idea of these different end results grappler looks like a Ryu man but he's not he looks like a normie roomie

Ryu man but he's a grappler but if you use his class which is the fighter class you can make him a striker kind of like the girl and he can do normal punches and kicks or you can make him more of a shoto traditionally you know and that's why that kind of gi look that he has is what you see on the grappler but you don't think you know anyway all that to say that what you're saying is there's a lot of potential for this roster to grow yes because there's 16 base classes okay yeah no that's that okay that's a lot that's plenty and each of them can expand into four you know sometimes so I think there's 60 total jobs so I want

to I want to I want to just pair this down to its basest explain it to me like I'm five essentials you have characters and one is Ryu and the other is what if Ryu found a gun yes what if you that's different what if Ryu embraced Satsui no Hado and then what if Ryu walks away from that and finds his own fist or whatever okay and then the last Ryu is what if he gets Sakura real preggers and settles down yeah all four Ryu's are advanced classes okay I get alright that's fucking weird yeah that is so goddamn weird I think it's cool I like it you know oh it's not bad weird it's just strange and so the results of

these so these characters are always gonna be that class name more than a like an names character yeah it always may it always whenever people talk about DFO I'd always they'd always be talking about it like oh man I just love brawler or sure yeah and it's like you mean your character no and then the other bit is that like the world is there's a the god of the world is called Carloso aka Carlos and and there's different realms and like there's like a like a higher presidium realm for where like some of the classes come from there's an underworld where like some of the underclasses come from the gritty there's like an ocean in

between them and it's all these different like vertical things stacked on top each other but then on the top top top level all the mages and all the magic comes from pandemonium which is just this crazy broken up city full of like like furries and mages and shit and it turns out that that's just New York City from planet Earth because long ago 13 artificial gods destroyed the planet and it exploded and sent the city of New York flying through space and then it had big space adventures where everyone turned into like a furry or like a mage and then different things attacked it while in space and they had to fend for

themselves and then eventually in like five years yeah or so give or take maybe two and a half yeah and then they that settles on top of the world of DFO so now New York City is just sitting on top there and that's where all the mages come from that that okay yeah that tracks tracks that that crazy witches from the Bronx I believe that yep I think I've met that person so this is DNF dual this is what's happening in this game good times good times I'm enjoying it I'm curious you know we may be in this fantasy world with all these goblins but at least we don't have as many rats they didn't make it so sick of the rats they were they

were left behind in the explosion or they survived and mutated and became the furry citizens of New York so who knows dungeon and fighters dual is yeah it's a I think you know what it's gonna be it's I think I'm gonna put this up as like the easiest way to feel what it's like to oppress people and be oppressed as if you were better than you are if you want to feel what it's like when you see those clips of like people doing crazy shit in like Marvel you know and your dragon ball even and you want to like get in there a little earlier you can do it pretty quickly in this game if you if you want to recreate the feeling of going to a

child's basketball game and slapping the ball out of their hands so that you can run up and dunk on them and then stab it with a knife and leave and so play DNF and so I think what happens scientifically is if you take some ingredients and you go let's take like easy to get into right accessible gameplay and put massive oppression just above the surface level you then train people to either oppress or be oppressed and people who are at that level who don't have the mental fortitude just crumple when it's their turn on the wall and this leads to a series of tweets with our favorite Bible quotes because rage

quitters cannot handle when it's not their turn yeah oh yeah this game is bringing out some fucking rage quitters that really just can't take it the you know it's like if you if you agree to the contract here you know what we're doing when it's your turn if you got to hold the wall and when it's my turn I'll do the same but you just can't handle it and you fucking rage quit if Tuesday's your day in the barrel you don't get to leave Monday night you know so they're gonna learn they're gonna learn and I have no problem using my my large account to fucking expose that shit and and and show those people to the public for

producer and a team that has some of the old members but it doesn't mention grasshopper specifically so that's super weird I super bizarre yeah big but it but like some of the people at this new company like 30 of the staff members are from katakawa right so like it looks as if like they're a different company that's going to be working on it that's mainly led by the producer but it's going to consist of staffers from the old project from that worked on the original as well so that should be fine but it ultimately doesn't necessarily mention like I guess like like Suda or James Gunn I believe was part of that too yeah right yeah but

want this and they're like yeah okay fine and then they allowed them to do that all this to say that they're not making any money and it doesn't seem like anything else is going to work AR wise with these brands that are working on Pokemon hell no god so yeah massive layoffs and it's looks like the company is going to just be downsizing and try to figure out how to streamline yada yada yada I can only I see the only path forward for this as a person doesn't know what the fuck they're talking about AR tech is still really cool and is still something that can and be used in you know limited applications in

passport Gabriel then heads to Mosley's room to steal his gold coat and don it along with the red cap he finds in the lost and found to hide that he was not like Mosley he then uses a packet of maple syrup to attach the fur to his face creating a fake mustache using a magic marker Gabriel then adds a fake mustache to the passport to obscure the differences between their faces he then returns disguised complete and is given Mosley's motorcycle rental to sum it up you have to go through a series of convoluted steps to make a mustache to impersonate a man that doesn't even have a mustache this is famous for a reason it is the it is

the absolute most asinine of a point-and-click game logic in which there is no logic it is just know what the developer wants you to do just know I mean that is the single dumbest puzzle game puzzle I have ever heard I think ever and I don't think it's accurate to call that a puzzle like because there's no way to intuit it like this is this is stretching down the logic of like there's like I talk about that monkey island moment where you have to put the bass at hound in your pocket and yeah like what and it's like that's like that's the joke but it's also just like shut up we're gonna get stuck here too bad and
