Oh man, that was unbelievable.
Please follow Monica,
McNuttMonica.
That's her social media.
I think that's her Twitter and IG.
So let's get our followers up.
She was unbelievable.
Okay, Ocho,
we have another epic interview for you guys.
First, let's take a look at the trailer for Bad Boys 4
Ride or Die.
Yeah!
Come on, Mike.
Slow down. We are late.
My stomach, Mike. I need a
ginger ale.
Get a ginger ale and nothing else.
Are those dogs fresh for the man yesterday?
Give me one.
Yeah, there you go.
Open the register.
Stay right there.
Mm-mm.
That Skittles on the counter, Marcus?
This ain't mine, Mike.
Yes, it is.
Mind your business with your cattle throwing ass.
Marcus, get in the car.
He has a gun to my head.
Want to deal with him or you want to deal with me?
Call 911. Aren't you the police?
That's mine!
Hey Reggie, you need my snacks?
No sir.
You need to get a job.
I'm a US Marine, sir.
Well then you need to deploy.
Dad, look.
We now have evidence that the late Captain Conrad Howard of Miami PD was working with drug cartels for years.
Captain Howard is being framed.
Let's go.
What the hell?
He's texting us from the other side.
I know he's not, Marcus.
If he's seeing this, I'm probably dead.
I don't know how high up this goes, but I don't trust anybody.
You should be careful.
We're being set up, detectives.
We got two suspects, Lowry and Burnett.
They're armed and dangerous.
In five, four, three...
No!
We can't wait for Rory! It's flammable i ain't no damn scientist
y'all are some terrible fugitives
i need nasty mike bad boy
I need nasty Mike.
Bad boy.
I got this.
What you don't know.
Are y'all stealing our clothes?
Just because we black, we stealing your clothes.
Why?
Look at your shirt.
Why don't you sing us a little Reba song?
Reba.
Sing your favorite.
I'm a woman.
I'm a strong black woman. Yeah, because she's not black.
What you gonna do?
What you gonna...
That ain't no Reba song.
It's from her mixtape.
Oh, Joe, it is a delight, man.
Look who we got.
Bad boys, four guys.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, legends of the game.
Guys, let me ask you a question.
There's been a 30-year between the first bad boys and how Ryder died, which is going to be the final one.
How has and what does the franchise do to evolve?
What's the biggest difference
with you first and then Martin
between the first Bad Boys and Bad
Boy 4, Ride or Die? I guess
the biggest difference is we ain't
no shit.
We just...
Hey, yo.
Hey, yo, man.
Listen, we ain't know
nothing on that
first movie, man.
We were out there.
We were both coming off of our TV shows, right?
And Michael Bay hadn't directed a movie.
It was his first movie.
And, you know, me and Martin were coming out.
Like, we were literally making this stuff up every day, you know?
So it was like, I would say big thing um that between the first one and this
one was like the precision of what we were doing when we stepped out there like we we knew what we
wanted and we knew how to get it let me ask you this ocho and i we're we're a very successful duo
but we're very very different what are some of the similarities that you two guys share, and what's the biggest differences that you guys have?
I think the biggest difference is, you know,
Marty Ma is really calm.
He is.
Yeah, Marty Ma is calm.
He is.
You know, and he's just, you know, he's trying to keep it easy.
And, like, I'm the friend that makes sure we get in trouble.
We're a hyper. He has a lot of energy, you know, but fun energy, you know?
Right.
Good energy.
And there's a lot of respect with us.
Yeah, for sure.
A lot of love and respect.
And I learned, I guess, one of the things
I learned from the first movie to this movie
is Marty Ma is not a morning person, right?
You got to be careful because I start
at 8 a.m. Marty Ma!
Come on, come on.
Listen, there have been
very, very, very, very many
great buddy cop duos. Obviously
Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, Eddie Murphy,
Nick Nolte, gitsum danny
glover why are will and martin in my eyes the best buddy cop duo in the game wow wow hey all right
thank you for that that's nice yeah i think the range of what we can do, right?
Like to be able to go from really broad comedy,
really heavy drama is part of the thing,
like the spectrum that we can cover.
And our chemistry.
Yeah, for sure.
It's just, it's like I grew up with them.
Yeah.
And when you talk about spectrums and we talk about range,
I think Unk and I,
I think Unk and I have unbelievable range.
Obviously being able to play football,
being able to have a successful podcast.
So let's say you guys were unavailable
and this can happen at any point.
So just keep this in mind.
I'm trying to lay a seed
and hope it grows later on in life.
So let's say you guys are unavailable
and they asked me and Unk to play Mike and Marcus it grows later on in life. So let's say you guys are unavailable and they ask me and Unc
to play Mike and Marcus in a new
Bad Boys movie. Who would
play Mike and who would play Marcus?
Remember, I'm the one that's on time.
Yes, yes.
I'm the one.
Yeah, that's interesting, man.
Who's the new Unc? Because if Shannon
played me, I would have muscles.
Yeah, right.
Yeah, you just have to have somebody putting almond butter
on your arms.
Almond butter on my arms.
So they can shine.
Whatever.
Ocho could play you.
Yeah, yeah, it seems like personality-wise,
you got some Mike Lowry.
Yeah.
Mike Lowry happening with him.
Right.
Oh, yeah.
What was your guys' favorite scene to shoot in this movie?
Oh, man.
Dude, yeah.
I could tell you, but I will be giving it up. No, you're all right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
When the audience sees, they'll know.
They'll know.
They'll know.
They'll know.
Actually, it's a couple of them.
Yeah.
OK.
We had so much fun coming into this one, right?
We were watching the first movie together,
getting prepared for this one.
So we went back to just take a look.
And one of the things that I realized is I'm looking at us,
and we were both, we ain't have one muscle between us.
It was not one good muscle.
I had the nerve to have a vest.
Thought I had muscle.
But in the previews that I see that I've seen,
it seems like the persona between you two guys have flipped.
It seems like Marcus, you're a little bit more on the edge.
And Mike, you're a little bit more subdued.
How did that happen?
Yeah.
So yeah, that's part of the conceit of the film,
that Mike Lowry, in the last movie, Mike Lowry got shot.
And he realized that he had a son and all that.
So it kind of changed his life.
And in this one, Marcus Burnett has an experience at the beginning of the film that we'll say makes him feel free.
Makes me feel free.
Free and alive.
So, yeah, that, like,
we were playing, so the first movie
was a character flip.
So with this one, we were like,
okay, what would happen if it
flipped again?
So that's part of the conceit
and the fun and the comedy
of this one. I like it.
One of the things that I really enjoy about
this show, obviously it's called Nightcap for a reason, and we can swear on this show. I like it. One of the things that I really enjoy about this show obviously is called Nightcap for a reason
and we can swear on this show.
Obviously, I consider using
derogatory language or swearing.
I call it
sentence enhancers. So if you
would describe the action sequences
and you guys, it's okay to curse now,
what word would you
use to describe the action
sequences in this movie?
Oh, motherfucking dope.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
Motherfucking dope.
Date of fucking shit.
But you know what?
Hey, between you, me and you, and you mark that's two words but we get
the picture hey what do you what do you guys remember about the very first day on set with
each other back in the mid 90s like i i told you earlier which is a funny thing you don't know when
you when you were filming in the mid 90s and 95 to be exact uh i was a junior at miami b senior
high school in which i skipped many classes when i find when i found out where you guys happen to be filming i got in trouble i got i had csi but it
was well worth it obviously once i saw everything coming to play and coming to fruition as far as
watching you guys film you both were starring in hit sitcoms at the time obviously martin you were
in martin and and will you had the fresh pence Bel-Air going on. Looking back now, which one was better?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry to add that pressure.
Oh, man.
It wasn't even a competition.
It wasn't a competition.
Yeah.
It wasn't a competition.
It was hands down funnier to me. Like, I used to study this dude at pure jealousy at the level of comedic genius that he could portray.
And I'm an actor that needs a script.
I work from a script.
I can be right.
But Martin, you can just roll and say go.
And he gone.
But Martin, you can just roll and say go.
And he gone.
And I've always admired how he can go on camera and just let it rip and make it up
and different takes and all of that.
And just how he used his body
and he'll look and notice something in the room
and grab it and use it in the next,
like, it's a level of comedic genius
that is just stunning to me.
Well, thank you for that.
Guys, obviously doing this movie, Bad Boy 4,
there's almost, what, 25, almost 30 years
in between the first and the last.
So obviously, you're almost 30 years older.
Is there anything that you had to do different
as far as diet-wise, as far as training-wise?
Because Ocho
and I we go back and forth he wants to eat McDonald's I try to eat a little more healthier
is there anything that you guys had to do from a nutritional standpoint and a training standpoint
in order to film Bad Boys 4? I did I had to I had to get weight off of me and everything
Will's usually always in shape you know he I don't think he has to do much to get in
shape for a role or whatever. Will's knees didn't show up a couple days. Will's knees
stayed in the ice bath. It was a couple days. I was, oh, no. But we did have to get ready for this film,
eat and write, exercise, everything,
because we had a lot of work to do.
Yeah, it's hard.
We had to schedule the action sequences differently.
We were getting them.
Space them things out 10 days or two weeks.
I mean, yeah.
The recovery time is real.
Outside of the Bad Boy franchise,
what action movies have inspired both of you guys?
It has, for me, it has to be Eddie Murphy movie.
Yeah.
I would say the best debut somebody could have,
comedic or just an actor or whatever,
is like Eddie Murphy had in 48 hours.
Ooh, classic.
It's no better than that.
Classic.
Yeah.
And for me, it's like with like 48 hours and Die Hard, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's like, there's a subtle thing that people don't, you don't even notice why you
like some movies better than
others. And when it's action movies, it's when the action is secondary or even tertiary to what's
going on with the plot. Characters. You know, characters, and you love being with characters
above everything they'll ever, every car they'll crash, every explosion.
There's nothing above being with the
characters. So that's what we tried to
do with
this movie. And I want you guys
to just mark that I said tertiary.
Tertiary, yeah, yeah.
I'm going to have Ocho to try to spell that tomorrow night.
Oh yeah, yeah, I got it, I got it.
Ocho, we got to get him out of here on this.
We know you guys are very busy. We really appreciate got it. I got it. Ocho, we got to get him out of here on this. We know you guys are very busy.
We really appreciate you taking time to sit down
with Ocho and I on Nightcap.
I'm sure our audience is going to go out there and check
this movie out. Will Smith,
Martin Lawrence, Bad Boy 4,
Ride or Die. Thank you guys. I appreciate it
and much respect. God bless, man.
God bless you, man.
You ain't even pissed at being Bad Boy 5.
What you doing?
Hey, I'm going to be in Bad Boy 10.
The wheelchair edition.
Hey, Will.
Will Martin, man.
I love y'all, man.
Appreciate it, fellas.
Man, I really appreciate them taking time to sit down with us.
Thank you for setting this up.
Man, this was unbelievable to see those guys obviously you
know do watching martin and martin uh and martin launch uh his show to see will smith uh fresh
prince of bel-air and everything that he's done in between i don't know if people remember this
but ocho will smith was the first rapper to win a grammy he was the first. And so it was great.
Thank you guys. I really appreciate your
time because we understand that
you're on a media tour and for you
to take time out of your schedule
and to sit down with Nightcap, Ocho
and I, that means a lot to
us and thank you for everybody
that played a role in this and
setting this up. I greatly appreciate that.
Oh, that
thing was live, man.
Bad.
That was unbelievable.
Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Ride or Die
is exclusively in movie theaters
Thursday, June 6th. Tickets
are on sale. Rated R.
Don't miss it.
Let's go.
They sent it to the house.
I'm going to watch it from home.
Listen,
little do you know,
we planted some seeds during that interview.
No, you planted some seeds.
No, we.
We are a duo.
We are a duo.
If we get the opportunity to make a movie,
if we get the opportunity
to make a movie,
Nightcap,
live in theaters,
AMC,
action movie,
you never know
what opportunity
might come for us
because of that interview
we just did.
I wish you the best
in your acting debut.
Nah, listen,
if your hips bad
and your knees hurt,
I'll push you in the wheelchair.
That's what I said.
I'm on Bad Boys 4, wheelchair edition.
Hey, that was dope.
That was dope, man.
That was dope.
That was dope.
Yeah, it was.
I'm excited.
I'm excited.
All right, though, Joe, it's time for our first segment of the day.
Thank you, Monica, for coming on.
Thank you, Will and Martin, bad boys for ride or die.
Now it's time for our very first segment, News Cap.
Vikings and Justin Jefferson have agreed to a four-year, $140 million contract extension
that includes $110 million guaranteed money.
This deal makes him the highest
paid non-quarterback in
NFL history. Justin Jefferson,
four years, $140
million, $110
guaranteed, makes him the
highest paid non-quarterback
in NFL history.
Rightfully so.
Rightfully so. Look what he's
done since he's come into the league. There's only one one receiver there's only one receiver that don the vikings helmet that you
can argue argue that is better and that is probably arguably one of the greatest to ever play
he's an alien by the name of randy moss he's different he's a different animal yeah justin
jefferson has earned every penny and every dollar, every dollar he got, every dollar he got.
And the funny thing about it is,
is I talked to,
I talked to you about it.
CD lamb,
Jamar chase and Justin Jefferson.
They were all waiting to see what's going to go first.
Yeah.
They were all waiting to see what's going to go first.
So now that he's the highest non quarterback,
highest paid non quarterback,
what do you think will happen when CeeDee get paid?
Well, everybody was waiting
for that one domino to fall.
Everybody was waiting.
You're hoping, Ocho, you're hoping
that they hit it way
out of the park. If Tyreek
is making 30, don't go to 31.
No, we need you to
bomb beam in this thing
in 1968 in Mexicoxico city go two
feet farther than what the world record is right i like it i like it though because as the players
continue to reset the market obviously it's a good thing for the game it's good it's a good
thing for the players that play extremely well and outplay their contracts especially when you
come into your rookie year um you you you get your good three years up under your belt,
a good three efficient,
consistent years
and playing really well.
Man, you back to the table.
Oh, yeah, they're going
to turn it up.
Listen, the money,
the money they paying right now,
right now,
and it's all,
the funny thing about it
is the money's only
going to get better.
Oh, for sure.
It's only going to continue
to increase.
So, I mean, it's a good thing.
And I'm excited.
I'm excited.
I'm excited to see what CeeDee Lamb gets.
I'm excited to see what Jamar Chase gets.
And I just know once I see them, I just know McDonald's on them.
McDonald's is on them.
It's going to be a lot of things.
Hey.
Woo!
Man, I'd like to see that big old sign.
Matter of fact, wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
How old is Tyreek?
They looking to do something with Tyreek.
I was going to say, Tyreek is going to wait until they finish.
He should.
Tyreek is going to wait until they finish because he's going back to the top.
Yeah.
He's going right back to the top.
Tyreek is going to wait until Chase signs.
He's going to wait until CD signs.
Justin Jefferson is done.
And then Tyreek is going to overlap every goddamn body. He's going to wait until CD signed. Justin Jefferson is done. And then Tyreek going to overlap every goddamn body.
Yeah.
I guarantee you.
Yeah.
He wants to be back in the top five
because he's out of the top five now.
Yeah.
So you got to put him back into the top five.
And he earned it.
He's a guy that comes out.
He played.
One.
One.
He's going to be one.
Yep.
That's why the numbers is going to be extravagant.
God damn, Tyreek, I know you're going to see this.
McDonald's on you, too.
I don't know. Tyreek might not be happy.
He got some issues going on right now, Ocho.
Nah, he good. He good. He good.
We talk.
Mamas don't want to talk.
They don't want to talk to you.
He ain't got to give a break, Ocho. Just stall him out, man. Nah, I, hey, nah, nah, nah, nah. Mamas don't want to talk. They don't want to talk to you. Oh, no, no, no.
He ain't got to give a break.
Ochoa, stall him out, man.
Now, I'm guiding him, man.
I'm telling you.
Listen, think about it.
I did the same thing, right?
I did the same thing.
You notice I don't have no issues?
Ochoa.
Have you noticed I've never had any problems?
I know.
You ain't got to have no problem.
But the money that you paying them,
you wasn't making that kind of money.
And they different.
See, you talking, see, you said you had a friendship
relationship with them whole children. Right, and that's
why I'm trying to help him
because you, you, let me
let me do this, let me do this. I know what I'm
doing. Because listen, it wasn't, I was making
good money for what it was back then.
Yeah. But I wasn't dealing with, listen
I wasn't dealing with people that was with me
for my money. That's the whole point.

Okay.
We're not going to get to that man. We're not going to get to that man business.
But they knew this.
We're going to leave that alone.
We're going to leave that alone.
Kirk Cullen, who signed with the Atlanta Falcons this past offseason,
may have been too candid in some interviews,
as he found himself and the Falcons amid potential tampering scandal.
If proven true, some historical reference showed nfl is willing to dole out severe
punishment on those infractions even going as far as losing first round picks in the nfl draft
mike florio of pro football talk explained the falcons could face say miami 2022 punishment
makes it uh not crazy not make not uh might not make it a crazy thought.
His admission that he spoke to the team's head athletic trainer
is a bright line no-brainer.
If it is a period from these comments,
Cousins also spoke with the director of personnel,
Ryan Pace,
before 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 13th.
That compounds the violation, Florio added.
Man, NFL need to find them something to do, man.
Find something to do.
There are more important issues that we need to be worried about
than talk about some goddamn tampering.
We know the man was going to Atlanta, man.
So what?
They talked to him a little early.
If he did.
They give you a period where you can early tamper.
How you going to go before the early tampering period?
Damn. So if that's the case, why not let them talk during the season give you a period where you can early tamper. How are you going to go before the early tampering period? Damn!
So if that's the case, why not
let them talk during the season while they're already on another team?
I mean, they probably do
anyway. They probably do.
I mean, if Kirk Cousins
snitched on himself. That's what I'm
saying!
They probably...
Who said criminals
are smart? Who said people do who said criminals are smart
who said people do dumb stuff
are smart Ocho
that's how you get caught
I know
yeah you right
you right
but I'm just saying
there's so many other things
we can worry about man
there's so many other things
okay he's with the Falcons now
I mean tampering with what
what is tampering with what
I mean think about it
how the
I mean
you're not allowing him
to talk to him
he's not going to be
with the Vikings no more he's going somewhere else anyway what are you really tampering with allowing him to talk to him. He's not going to be with the Vikings no more.
He's going somewhere else anyway.
What are you really tampering with?
So what?
He talked to him early.
So what?
Ocho.
Okay, here's the thing.
I give you...
Okay, Ocho.
I give you a discount.
I'm going to mark this item down.
I'm going to mark this cup down
to $9.99.
Guess what you do?
You make the nine or six.
What's wrong with that, man?
You had already discounted it.
Damn, Ocho.
Wait, they give you
an early tampering window.
So now you want to go
even before the tampering window?
So you don't care about
no rules and regulations, huh?
You know what?
I like that idea you just said
about changing the prices.
I'm going to try that in Target.
I'm going to take some and I'm going to take it. That's by deception. I like that idea you just said about changing the prices. I'm going to try that in Target. I'm going to take some of them.
That's not hard.
That's just my deception.
I like that idea.
I really like that.
You should have never gave me that idea
because I'm definitely going to Target.
I'm going to switch some of them
prices up on some stuff.
But yeah, I understand what you're saying,
but I'm just, listen, we so...
Just the NFL,
it's just so many other important issues that we can worry about.
Man, he's with the Falcons now.
Yes.
He's with the Falcons now.
I mean, come on, man.
I understand when you talk about rules and regulations, someone who was always the villain in the NFL didn't really follow the rules.
I didn't really break them either, if you think about it.
I mean, because the rules that I was breaking that I was vilified for now are
celebrated,
you know?
So I don't really consider it.
I just,
it's like,
come on,
man.
But I get what you're saying,
but I want to piggyback on something else.
When we're talking about the receivers,
the contracts and Tyreek,
obviously going to overlap the big three and CD and Jamar chase when they,
why do you think there's such a,
a huge gap
between wide receiver and a DB market
when it comes to DBs getting paid?
Because a DB is going to have to reset the market.
Oh, they ain't going to 30.
It's going to be a while before they get to 30.
What's the highest paid?
21?
Maybe 22?
I mean, Rams at 21, maybe?
Yeah, I think Sauce.
I think Sauce or Patrick Sertain II can probably hit 25.
Yeah, yeah.
21, one of them can hit 25.
Yeah, but this guy, he hit 35.
Huh?
He hit 35.
Chase bought for 140.
He hit 35.
Yeah, that's crazy.
You know what's funny?
It's crazy the fact that, to me, I think defensive back is the most difficult position
on the football field outside of quarterback.
Yeah, for sure.
Defensive back is the most difficult position
that has a receiver running at him full speed
and has no idea where he's going.
Nope.
And they're not paid adequately
nowhere near the top receivers are.
Right.
I think the DBs need to add
a little bit more personality to themselves. They need to talk a little bit more trash. They need to add a little bit more personality to themselves.
They need to talk a little bit more trash.
They need to be a little bit more brash.
That ain't who they are.
I mean, I just, listen.
Most of the great ones didn't talk.
I didn't talk.
Daryl Green didn't talk.
Rebus didn't say nothing.
It's a selling tactic along with the play, especially those that can play.
Pat Sertain
He can play
The second
He can play
Add a little personality to it
You know
You get to that 30
Sauce Gardner
Sauce talks
I think Sauce might
Might hit that 25-27 mark
Hell
They might give him 30
Just because he in New York
It's uh
I think the thing is Ocho
Is that
When you look at it, is that.
At the end of the day, that's your personality. Yeah.
That when you do hard knocks, a lot of times it gives you an opportunity to show your personality.
OK. Oh, nightcap. It gives us both an opportunity to show our personality.
I can show a little bit of it on on on first take. I showed a little bit on Undisputed. But here, the rules and regulations are even more lax than what they were on linear television.
So we really get an opportunity.
And we say sometimes, we say outlandish stuff.
We try not to go too far overboard.
But we get an opportunity to show our joke-telling stories and make them relatable, but also make them funny. At the end of the day, a guy gotta be, I mean,
had Peyton Manning not done Saturday night, what was that?
Saturday night live? Yeah. That opened it up. Yeah.
Him hitting them kids in the head with that football and him doing things,
what he was doing. People looked at Peyton Manning.
And then you see him in commercials.
And then you people,
the outside people,
got an opportunity to see
what we saw at the Pro Bowl.
Yes, sir.
Those that played with Indy,
the joke, the prankster,
they got an opportunity to see.
Now the world got an opportunity to see.
But that's got to be who you are.
Yeah, you're right.
You're right.
Because obviously,
if you're one that talks trash,
you know, through the media,
before games,
then that's that much more added pressure
to a game that's already difficult
to begin with.
Because now you've got to think about
worrying about,
I've got to back this up, man.
It's got to be second nature.
You know what's funny?
I needed and welcomed that pressure.
Yeah.
I needed it.
It forced me.
I had no choice because I'm talking trash to the media
and giving the other team bulletin board material on a Wednesday.
Remember 2005?
Remember before the season started?
I had that laminated list that laminated DBs in my locker before the season started.
And that's the most ballsy you-know-what you could ever do because I had no choice, week to week, but to go out there and show up.
I had no choice because I already set the standard or set
the precedent. I'm coming after all y'all in a fun, non-malicious way. And they all respected it
because it was all about competing. But the fact that you said that's not their personality,
I think if there were more that showed that brashness and that willingness to go beyond themselves,
to show a little bit of personality, that also pays dividends
because that also puts butts in the seat.
Yeah.
We might have been losing, but I could sell a stadium out.
We might have been losing, but I could sell a stadium out.
I'm just saying, you know what I mean?
Yeah.
Because you never knew.
I ain't even know, huh?
You never knew what was going to happen next
because I ain't even know.
I never forget pregame.
Sometime Coach Lewis asked me,
you know, we in 2005, 2006,
Coach Lewis would come up to me
and be like,
what you got for us this Sunday?
Because I don't tell nobody what I'm going to do,
but I do just know something's coming.
There's a certain excitement and love
and just this passion
and energy I have for the game.
And I just, if you paid $80 for
a ticket, I'm going to give you
$80 worth of entertainment. And I'm
going to push the envelope. And I don't care about
the NFL finding me, because I'm not playing for
the money. You know how they think.
How do we keep them in line?
Or we take their money. You take what they think they value most. Your money. And know how they think. How do we keep them in line? Or we take their money. You take what they think
they value most. Your money.
And the money will come.
You right. I needed them
checks, Ocho. Yeah, I know what you mean.
But listen, the funny thing, I was working overtime
because you got to think.
In the offseason, I was doing TV shows.
Yeah. So I wasn't tripping.
Whatever I lost, I was making right back up anyway.
That's why I kept doing everything. Had I not had them kids they don't tell you what i would
have done i might i might the street cost them i might have counted the street cost my high for
the touchdown yeah that's crazy man hey hey go ahead matter of fact i mean speaking speaking
on the on the kirk cousins thing and i obviously I know it's a serious issue I don't just
I just don't want to overlook it I understand
their rules their regulations that teams
have to abide by and
I mean obviously now if there's
if tampering is found to have
been done because Kirk Cousins slipped
when talking to the media
do you think the NFL is going to
take away a first and second round
oh yeah they're going yeah punish them yeah for sure
because there's like because that's what they're gonna take money which one both probably because
also what they tried to do is that you know you had the midnight tampering rule and people was
tampering up to a day so they gave you a grace period they They said, we're going to give you like, I think, what, 48, 72 hours in which you can talk to teens, but you can't do anything until this deadline right here.
They're like, well, damn, we gave you 48.
We gave you two, three extra days.
So now you're going to go outside of that.
Right.
It's kind of like, Ocho, fish anywhere you want to.
Just don't fish over here.
Okay?
Right? This area is off. Just don't fish over here. Okay? Right?
This area is off limits.
Don't fish.
The whole rest of the 50-acre lake, fish.
Just this one little 50-yard area, we don't want anybody to fish in here.
What are people going to do, Ocho?
Go fishing that.
You got a 50-acre lake.
Yeah.
That 50-yard square that they say no fishing allowed, somebody's going to say,
somebody's going to go over the fence, they're going to throw their rod
over there. Every time.
Every time.
It's just like, whatever the rules are, people are going to
try to break them. They're trying to jump
the gun. They're trying to jump
the gun.
They're trying to jump the gun.
CJ Sprouse said he would take Eli's
manning NFL career over Aaron Rodgers doing an appearance on Million Dollars Worth a the gun. CJ Stroud said he would take Eli's Manning NFL career over Aaron Rodgers.
During an appearance on Million Dollars Worth a Game podcast,
CJ was asked if he preferred to have a career similar to Aaron Rodgers or Eli Manning.
For Stroud, the decision was easy.
You want the rings, dog.
Eli got two.
What you think, Ocho?
I mean, I like it.
I like it.
But listen, Aaron Rodgers' career is not that bad as well. Aaron Rodgers
is recognized as one of the best,
one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Obviously, he's still playing, but he only has one
ring. He only has one ring, so I
understand what C.D. Shroud is saying.
The fact that Eli has two,
statistically, I don't have the numbers
in front of me. I can't crunch him.
Rodgers was a four-time league MVP,
Super Bowl MVP.
One MVP.
Eli, I think he went to the Pro Bowl
like three times.
Never led the league in interceptions
I think three times. Two Super Bowls.
Two Super Bowl MVPs.
Nobody thinks
that Eli Manning is the quarterback of Aaron
Rodgers. I get it. That just goes to
show you. even in rankings,
even though Rodgers has one,
Eli has two,
nobody's putting Eli in front of him.
Now I get, hey, that's his decision.
I get where Stroud is coming from with the two super bowls.
But I'm taking Rodgers.
Yeah.
I mean, I understand it.
I mean, again, it's all preference,
obviously coming from a quarterback lens,
from a quarterback perspective.
Because that's how they measure. You want. Yes, because that's how they measure.
You want those trophies.
That's how they measure, yes.
So I totally understand it.
Right.
That's why Mahomes is held in such a high regard
at such an early goddamn stage in his career.
Do you realize, you know, it just dawned on me,
do you realize how much longer he has to go and play?
Mm-hmm.
Bar an injury, he could be...
Do you realize that?
If Andy Reid decides to stay
well and again it's like it's like it's like it's like the patriots all over again
as long as brady is there for 20 years offensively the pieces to the puzzle constantly change year
in a year out as long as that 12 and that centerpiece was always there that offense was
always efficient no matter what.
So it's like we got that all over again,
depending on how long Andy Reid wants to stay in coach.
Right.
As long as Mahomes is upright and healthy,
it's the same thing all over again.
So I think they're going to be the next team to probably,
wait, wait, they already hit a dynasty, right?
Yeah, three and four years.
They might, I wouldn't be surprised. Three and four years. I wouldn't be surprised.
Three and five years.
I wouldn't be surprised if they roll off two or three more.
I wouldn't either.
I wouldn't be surprised.
Here's the thing, Ocho.
It's going to be very interesting.
They mess around and do a three-peat.
Do something no other team has ever done in the history of the NFL.
Not Super Bowl.
There have been teams that win championships,
but there's no because the Packers won the championships and they roll right into the Super Bowl.
But to win three
in the Super Bowl era, which nobody
has ever done that.
Patrick Holmes,
now he has four in five
years, and he's a four-time
finals and a four-time Super Bowl MVP.
And he messed around and won another
league MVP.
You know what's funny? I don't think people, I don't think the casual fan finals and a fourth time Super Bowl MVP. MVP, yeah. And he messed around and won another league MVP. Yeah.
And you know what's funny?
I don't think people,
I don't think the casual fan,
obviously the people in the chat,
this ain't Madden.
This ain't Madden.
No, no, no, no.
This is real life.
Do you understand
how difficult it is?
You can play your entire career
and never go to the Super Bowl.
You can play your entire career
and maybe go to the Super Bowl once.
Yes.
The fact that knowing,
as a Chief fan,
every year you're going to be in contention.
That's a great feeling.
Long you got that guy.
Long as you have that quarterback in place.
That's why it's so important,
which is why quarterbacks are paid the money they're paid,
because they change the dynamic of an organization like this.
Like that, with a snap of a finger.
But finding a great one like that, which is a gym, and they come every so often.
No.
I don't think Eli had a season which he threw for over 5,000 yards.
I think he was 32 yards short.
I think he threw for 4,968.
I think he was 32 yards or 38 yards short of that 5,000 yards.
I don't think Eli's ever had.
He came close.
He came close.
Obviously, Rodgers has never thrown for 4,000, I mean 5,000 yards.
I think he's led the league in passing touchdowns a couple of times.
I don't think Eli's ever done that.
Obviously, Rodgers has never led the league in interception.
I mean, he has the best touchdown to interception ratio in league history uh we'll see when it's all said and done oh joe we have
some sad news today one of the greatest offensive linemen in nfl history larry allen tragically died
at the age of 52 while on vacation with his family our thoughts and prayers go out not only to Larry, his family,
and anyone that was impacted,
that knew, loved, cared, admired Larry Allen,
the Cowboy family,
and the San Francisco 49ers.
Our thoughts and prayers from Nightcap
go out to Larry Allen and his family
and all those impacted
by the tragic passing of Larry Allen.
Rest in peace, big fella.
H-O-F.
Yes, sir.
I went to Pro Bowl a few times with Larry, man.
He was a monster, bro.
When they had the strongman competition,
I sat there and watched him do the bench.
I sat there and watched Larry Allen do 225, man,
43 times, man.
43 times, like it wasn't nothing.
I ain't never seen that kind of strength.
And obviously, it translated the transition over to the field as well. Yeah, he was seen that kind of strength. Obviously, it translated the transition over
to the field as well.
Yeah, he was a monster, Ocho.
I mean, he could play right guard,
he could play right tackle, but he was
left tackle. I mean, left guard, played left
tackle, played every position basically
except center, but he was a star.
He was a centerpiece at the left guard position.
And he was a mountain
of a man.
Sorry to hear the tragic passing.
I'd like, again, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone impacted by this.

The cabin of Spirit Airlines flight from Jamaica to Florida
became the scene of panic
and confusion Sunday when passengers
were told to prepare for a possible
water landing. The plane
which was headed to Fort Lauderdale
reversed course
and safely returned
to Montego Bay, Jamaica
out of an abundance of caution
following a suspected
mechanical issue.
Really, Ocho?
No, that's two.
You two for two.
That's two what?
You two for two.
I have a question.
I have a question.
I got an answer.
Spirit Airlines,
our policy,
safety first. That's it. They got back where they needed to ask. Spirit Airlines. Our policy. Safety first.
That's it.
They got back where they needed to go.
They got back where they needed to be safely.
I bought a ticket to go from Montego Bay to Fort Lauderdale.
Not a ticket to go to Montego Bay to turn around and go to Montego Bay.
That's a 30-minute flight.
That's fine.
I bought a ticket.
I bought a ticket to go from LA to Atlanta.
I don't want to get halfway to
Atlanta and turn around and go to LA.
I didn't buy the ticket to say that.
Jamaica to Fort Lauderdale
is a 35-minute flight.
That wasn't an inconvenience. It was.
It wasn't an inconvenience? It was.
It definitely wasn't.
Listen, you want to be able to
land safely
and make sure the mechanical issue is not an issue
so you can get home safe?
No.
I want to go be on the flight like I normally fly
and we go from point A to point B
and not have to go from point A halfway to point B
and turn around and go back to A or D.
You know, sometimes this happens.
I don't know if I know what I'm talking about.
Sometimes this happens.
It's a reoccurrence on your airline.
No, it's not a reoccurrence. It happens
with all airlines. American, Delta,
Southwest.
Everybody has mechanical issues.
Only spirit pull up to the pump.
Hey, give me five on pump six.
Y'all cheap asses.
Listen, spirit is for the people.
Especially in this goddamn economy. Spirit is for the people Especially in this
Goddamn economy
Spirit is for the people
Think about what you said
Ocho
Yeah
This man said
It's only a 35 minute flight
And y'all couldn't make it
For 35 minutes
But you want me to
Hop on it for a while
So you want
You want to test
The mechanical failure
Over the water
I just wanted to be right
Do you want
Listen
Do you want to test
The mechanical failure
Over the ocean Before you get to Fort Lauderdale Which one you want, listen, do you want to test the mechanical failure over the ocean
before you get to Fort Lauderdale?
Which one you want?
All I'm saying,
all I'm saying,
y'all couldn't even make it
four hours.
Y'all couldn't even make it
35 minutes.
35.
Listen,
it don't take long.
You know,
you get 35,000,
you get 30,000 feet
and something go wrong
and you nose dive
from 35,000 to zero.
God just said.
You don't want that.
Spirit. That's the reason why they call it spirit. That ain't to zero, I don't think you don't want that. It's spirit.
That's the reason why they call it spirit.
That ain't no good.
I ain't flying nothing spirit.
It's the reason why we're the safest airline
to travel with.
I can't tell.
There's a reason why.
And the most non-on-time airline, too.
Oh, no, we on time.
Oh, no, you're not?
I ain't never had a problem.
I say, man.
I've never had a problem. There's, man. I've never had a problem.
There's a reason why I'm the ambassador for Spirit.
I mean, Spirit, the only one, they drive you there.
Hey, we ain't flying today.
We going to drive you from Miami to Philly.
They had an airplane.
I saw an airplane coming up 95.
I said, is that really an airplane?
That's what Spirit said.
Hey, come on, man.
Y'all took the wings off and drove.
I ain't lying.
I'm telling y'all.all took the wings off and drove. I ain't lying. I'm telling y'all.
They took the wings off the plane.
The plane was supposed to fly from Fort Lauderdale to Philly.
The plane drove up 95 all the way to Philly.
Hey, y'all going to have to get up on my airline, man.
Y'all going to have to get up.
Matter of fact, I got a flight.
I'm going to spear it tomorrow to North Carolina.
Matter of fact, hey,
when is our next show?
Thursday.
Okay, good.
Good.
Because, you know,
I fly to North Carolina,
carry North Carolina tomorrow morning.
You know,
my soccer tournament
starts tomorrow.
Hey, we on ESPN,
matter of fact.
Wednesday.
Doing what?
ESPN Wednesday.
The soccer tournament,
TST tournament I'm playing in.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Make sure you check that thing out. I did not know.
Okay, Ocho. It's time
for our last segment of the night.
And it's called
Q&A.
Q&A
S-BABY!
Man, she ain't came in here all night.
See how inconsistent she is? You see what I mean?
We can't count on her?
Listen, last night she kept popping in and popping out.
This is why you can't count on her.
You know, she's indecisive.
One minute she want to be a part of the show,
next minute she don't show up to work.
LL Cool Trail, Monica McNutt,
is a breath of fresh air to the show.
She should make them weekly appearances
throughout the WNBA season.
She was unbelievable.
I knew she'd be unbelievable,
but I wanted her to give her an opportunity
because she said this nuanced conversation.
Excuse me.
When you're on linear television,
you have breaks.
You have to have breaks.
You got to pay.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
They got to keep the lights on.
They got to pay the bills.
So you have breaks every so often. And we couldn't have the type of conversation. And because we were all in different locations. I'm in L.A. Stephen A. was in Miami. I think Monica was at home. Molly's in the studio. There's a delay. So as someone is trying to end talking, you start talking and they're not finishing.
So we're kind of tripping over each other. It would have been a lot easier if we're there, Ocho, because I can tell, OK, Ocho is about to get ready to finish up.
OK, I can do, you know, do this to Steve and A. You guys don't see it, but sometimes he'll do it to me.
Let me go next. OK, you know, he point, you go ahead.
point you go ahead so i wanted to give her an opportunity to have a conversation that we were trying to have this morning and to have it in a more a situation where we're not tripping over
stumbling over each other let's have the nuanced conversation i'm glad we were able to go in depth
i'm glad we were able to take it a lot of different places and so i was glad to have it on she was
unbelievable and uh so i'm looking forward to, you know,
working with her in the very near future.
I'm sure she's going to be back on on first take,
but her and I doing something together also.
Roy Williams donated $100 and said,
what's up, you know, it's Mr. Horse Collar here.
85, miss you, boy.
Hey, Roy, what's up, Roy?
It's been a while, 31 out.
Roy, where you been at, baby?
Roy, how that you, boy, man? I miss you, boy. How that you, boy, man? Where you at? Roy, where you been at, baby? Roy, how that you boy, man?
I miss you, boy.
How that you boy, man?
Where you at?
Roy, you probably in Dallas?
Maybe Oklahoma somewhere?
I'm going to come smoke a cigar with you, man.
Yeah.
Thanks, bro.
Hey, Roy, man.
Thank you, man.
Appreciate the support.
Thank you for watching Nightcap.
We greatly, greatly appreciate that, man.
That's unbelievable, man.
Appreciate that.
Love with the old.
A lot of times I go places, Ocho, and I see former NFL players and man, they're like,
man, you and Ocho, y'all doing y'all thing, man.
Y'all crazy.
I love it.
So I appreciate that, bro.
Hey, matter of fact, you know what?
I ain't going to tell the whole story, but I ran Roy over one time.
I don't know about that.
Laid his ass out.
You know, hey, that's another one
come to the party,
boy,
you hear me?
Oh, yeah.
Oh, he a thumper now.
Like,
hey,
boy,
he a thumper now.
But,
you know,
like,
hey,
I gave him that work,
ran right over him,
then I stepped on his face mask
by accident.
You know,
just a little warning.
You know,
sometimes you gotta
set the safety straight.
Uh,
Kemper Norwood Jr.
said,
uh,
