But the negative ones also help us get better, Ocho.
We've also pinned the Shade by La Portia link at the top of the chat.
Make sure you go out and get yourself a bottle with the holidays right around the corner for you or a loved one.
So thank you.
I have a bottle right here.
I'm going to have me a. I have a bottle right here.
I'm going to have me a little,
a little,
have a little nightcap,
you know what I'm saying?
A little nightcap,
Ocho,
and I'm going to be sleeping like a baby,
crying and pooping all night long.
So you don't understand.
Well,
hold on,
hold on, hold on.
You're going to be sleeping like a baby.
I'm going to have a couple,
a couple of this little,
this little right here.
Oh,
no,
no,
we ain't sleeping tonight.
Well,
we're going to be in here for three hours.
Also,
you know,
a little something right here?
You know a little something to hold your boy over?
Let me see.
You know your boy?
Okay.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
You know I don't know nothing about no alcohol, man.
So you're supposed to just drink, take it to the head, and you sip it.
This is the cognac.
This is some of the best BSOP cognac on the market.
We won the SIP award.
Okay.
If you don't know,
the SIP award is for the
Best Taste in Cognac in 2022.
We beat all the big brands.
So we got some good stuff.
Actually, we're going to come out.
I probably shouldn't be saying this,
but we are going to come out
with an XO and an XXO
in the very near future.
But right now, this is our BSOP,
which is top of the line.
Yes. Hey, man, listen is our BSOP, which is top of the line. Yes.
Hey, man, listen.
God got favor, man.
Because you just
went into some of everything.
I didn't want to say that, Ocho.
You know, we...
You took it down.
Yeah, yeah.
Listen, listen.
You went into some everything.
We're going to get it...
We're going to talk about that
a little later in the show.
But, God, I ain't know.
You know, I don't know
nothing about no...
I don't know nothing
about no cognac.
I don't know nothing
about alcohol, period.
You know?
But the fact that, okay,
you know what I should do?
I should try something.
Next time you're in L.A.?
I'm not going to a game,
so hopefully we can go to a game next time
you're in L.A.
Right.
We going to go to a game and say Corsair?
Oh, boy. Oh, boy.
Oh, boy.
I ain't said courtside at a liquor game in about 22 years now.
How about February of 19-never?
No, I'm saying you've never said courtside at a liquor game, period,
let alone.
No, no, no.
Remember I told you I said courtside next to Denzel
I took my son
my son was maybe
eight
about eight years old
no no lie
no lie
no lie
I know I play around a lot
but I sat courtside
with Denzel
and matter of fact
let me
oh you know what
this is when it was
because Denzel
got on me
when I was
I was
disgruntled
with the Bengals organization and I was
trying to wiggle my way
up out of there and it
ain't working. He got on my ass
about that bullshit. He got on my
ass. I never figured that conversation.
Thank you guys again for joining us.
Make sure you click that like button. Make sure you
hit the subscribe button. We're at
435,000 subscribers and we
could not have done it without you.
Ocho, let's jump right into 435.
Let's get it.
The Titans beat the Dolphins.
They were down by 14 points
with three minutes to go.
And if I'm not mistaken,
teams down by 14 points
with three minutes to go
in the fourth quarter
and lost 767 consecutive games
until tonight. minutes to go in the fourth quarter and lost 767 consecutive games. Yeah. Until
tonight.
The Dolphins lose 28-27.
Tua
played terrible the last two drives. That's on
him, Ocho. That's on him. He played bad.
He played bad. It's 33
and he throws a swing pass
seven yards behind the line of scrimmage.
Bro, you push the ball down
the field, you get the first down. Why would you throw a six-yard route behind the line of scrimmage. Bro, you push the ball down the field, you get the first down.
Why would you throw a six-yard route behind the line
so the guy can try to get three yards?
He's already down nine yards, Ocho.
Yeah, but I mean, we've seen that swing pass,
that same pass behind the line of scrimmage,
sometimes hit and sometimes go for a long way.
If you're in the first, you got to think about it now.
Right.
You're in a two minute situation.
In actuality, you're in a one minute situation.
Time is, time is not on your side because guess what?
You get tackled in rounds.
Now all of a sudden, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
So there is no benefit in that situation when you're throwing the ball behind the line of scrimmage.
But give the Tennessee Titans credit, though.
Give them credit, though.
Go ahead.
Definitely.
Yeah, we will give the Titans credit.
But this is one of the reasons, small example,
on why a player by the name of Tyreek Hill
belongs in the MVP conversation.
Tyreek Hill goes out.
They do nothing.
And the entire offense completely changes.
Yes.
And it's different.
It's different.
The dynamic of the excitement and the energy and the, oh, my God,
what's going to happen next?
Or the holding your breath every time they snap the ball because you never know what's going to happen. or the holding your breath every time they snap the ball because
you never know what's going to happen right it's out the window it's out the window that that that
alone today tonight showed you how special tyreek is to that offense and just the nfl in general
on what he brings to the table when he's playing what tonight, Ocho, is when a team gets physical with the Dolphins,
they bow down.
And we know one thing
about the Tennessee Titans and
Brable. They are a physical
football team. They might not win
some games, but you're going to know you've been in a fight
now. You might win the fight,
but you don't want to fight them again.
You've been in a situation like, oh yeah, I got it,
but damn, I don't want to fight him no more. That's what you been in a situation like, oh, yeah, I got it. But damn, I don't want to fight him no more.
That's what you get when you play the Tennessee Titans.
He's an old school coach.
I played against Braybill.
And although he wasn't the most athletic, you knew you had a fight on your hand.
He was an old school linebacker.
He was tough at the point of attack.
He could set the edge.
He understood his responsibility.
And if he was supposed to be to the flat, he was in the flat.
If he's supposed to be hooked, he's going to be in the hook.
If he's supposed to carry you up the seam, he's going to carry you up the seam.
And if he's supposed to sit the edge, you're not going to hook him.
Every time he was as fundamentally sound as any backer that I've ever faced.
And his teams, they don't normally beat themselves.
That's that Coach Belichick.
And we're like, look, we can't beat ourselves.
Yeah, it's hard enough to win football games.
It's a lot harder when you beat yourself.
So give them guys credit.
Will Levis, 23 of 38, 327, one touchdown, one of the seven.
Can you imagine what DeAndre Hopkins could have done for the Kansas City Chiefs?
Can you imagine him?
Man, listen.
Did you?
DeHop, DeHop went off tonight.
DeHop, DeHop went off tonight.
So, are we under?
Yeah.
Is it too late?
I mean, obviously it's too late.
Ain't nothing you can do.
I mean, we can't even go on the Chiefs right now
because I'm still kind of hurt about the play yesterday.
Once you look at it and freeze the frame,
you see just how far offside Kedarious Tony Woods.
Yeah, we'll get on that because we're talking about that later on.
But when you watch this game and you look at the Dolphins and what we've said,
we've said, Ocho, we want to see them step up against competition
because anytime they played anybody that was on their level of above,
they've lost.
Now we see them playing a team in the Tennessee Titans
who's fighting, trying to gain some traction and getting to the playoffs.
And they come to their home and down 14 with three minutes
to go yeah and beat the dolphins yeah again and there are so many different ways there's so many
different things that people can say they can dissect the game they can be critical they can
be analytical of the game and say well you're up you're up by 14 you're supposed to win the game
my whole thing is i'm going to say is the fact that Tyreek Hill was not playing and the offense sputtered.
The offense struggled.
They didn't move the ball as efficient up and down the field as I think they should.
And the big plays that they're normally used to having, they weren't there.
They weren't there.
I'm counting Tyreek maybe two or three goddamn touchdowns.
I seen him walking with McDonald's in his hand.
I said, you know what?
You might as well strike up the van.
You might as well strike up the van because he going about 250 or something like that.
And when I saw the ankle roll.
Ocho, but think about this.
The offense is going to stall.
Two or four with the ball at the three-yard line.
Going in.
But that's not his fault, though.
You got somebody
missing a goddamn assignment.
That dude came through. Somebody missed an assignment.
He could, that was a three-step job.
He couldn't even throw the ball.
The one thing that we're taught is that don't exacerbate a bad situation.
If somebody missed their block,
hold on to the ball.
The last thing you want to do is that
because someone whiffed their block,
now all of a sudden you turn it over
because in worst case scenario we believe we take
at least three points off the board
and you know points are a premium
in the league especially this time of year
and so that's the one
thing but he's always been
loose with the ball even
when guys are
don't come clean
he's always loose with the ball.
He has a very – his hands, I don't think his hands are ginormous,
but I think he has a problem holding on to the football
when he comes in contact with the defender.
Yeah.
I mean, he was getting ready to throw the ball.
He was getting ready to throw it, and he kind of pulled it back just a tad bit, and it was still right to throw the ball. He was getting ready to throw it.
And he kind of pulled it back just a tad bit.
And it was still right here at the chest plate.
And dude came in the time where it was too late.
And he couldn't even put it up.
He didn't even have a chance to secure it. Zachary Nunn donated $10 and said,
Unc, today you said two of Lamar Jackson for quarterback play.
I think it's safe to say Lamar is the best quarterback in the AFC.
It's a fluid situation.
And what you do,
that's one thing about sports,
you have to update your resume.
Now, we can't,
now, if Tua comes back
and throws for,
I don't know who they play next week.
I think Buffalo,
Buffalo plays the Cowboys.
They got the Jets.
So if Tua comes back
and throws four touchdowns, Lamar
throws one touchdown, are we going to go flip-flop?
We can't
do that. It's a fluid situation
based on what we have. But you have to understand,
now, if you'd have asked me
that today, of course I would have took Lamar
like you're doing. Because I noticed you didn't tweet
me this today. You ain't text this today.
You got my handle. You never said anything
until after the fact. See,
you got the great, you got the magnificent
sign of hindsight, which
is a magnificent sign because you know
based on what has already been discussed.
It's easy.
Oh, Ocho, man.
It's easy to say
what you could have done knowing the outcome
already. Okay, Ocho, you know how
your career played. You say, man,
if I'd have done this,
done that, done this,
man, ain't no telling
how many yards I could have had.
Well,
yeah, it's easy to do that now.
Yeah, that's easy.
After the fact.
So, we appreciate you watching.
That's all I care about, Zachary.
Appreciate you commenting.
Appreciate you watching the show.
We appreciate that.
Entering today, Tua had 24 touchdowns, 14 total turnovers.
CJ Stroud had 20 touchdowns, passing touchdowns, 9 turnovers.
Lamar Jackson had 16 touchdowns, 12 total turnovers.
So coming into tonight, he was 8 touchdowns and 2 turnovers.
He had 8 more passing touchdowns and two more turnovers.
So I don't think it's far-fetched
to say that Tua had
played him to a standstill if not played a little
better. Now, I'm not saying that the
Dolphins are better than the Ravens.
That was a whole different conversation.
But again, Zachary, appreciate you watching.
Tommy DeVito,
Giants defeat
the Packers 24-22. DeVito and the defeat Giants defeat the Packers
24-22 DeVito
and the Giants have won three straight games
undrafted rookie free agent Tommy DeVito
marched the Giants down the field
got them in position to kick the game winning
field goal he completed Ojo
four straight passes for 53 yards
including a 32 yard
touchdown a 32 yard
pass down the right sideline to Wondell Robinson.
The Packers lost Monday night,
snapped Green Bay's 16-game win streak in December game.
The Packers hadn't lost a December game since week 17,
2018, the final game before Matt LaFleur was hired as head coach.
What did you like or what didn't you like
about what you saw?
Let's go with the Giants.
What did you like about
what you saw from the Giants
besides them winning the game?
That's always a positive.
But what did you like
about the Giants?
Right.
I think Tommy DeVito.
Tommy DeVito coming in clutch.
Tommy DeVito coming in clutch
when it mattered most.
Obviously, the numbers
weren't staggering
throughout the game.
He was only 17,
but 21 for 158. But when it mattered most. Obviously, the numbers weren't staggering throughout the game. He was only 17 for 21 for 158.
But when it mattered most,
what did he do? He willed them to win. And obviously, we know
in Green Bay, head coach,
listen, December, he's missing
December. They don't lose. So, obviously,
if you're a gambler man, if you're a bet man,
who are you betting on to win the game?
Now, I'm sure everybody named my
mama, had the Green Bay
Packers and Jordan Love to go in there
and win because it's the Giants the Giants aren't
playing well they haven't really played well all year but Tommy
DeVito has been decent he's
been somewhat efficient in
trying to will them to
wins and that's what he was able to do tonight
I don't think it's
a stretch but if you look at these last
three games it's hard for me to say that Tommy DeVito
hadn't played better than Daniel Jones
played at any point three games this year.
I'm not saying he's the future.
I'm not saying he's the answer.
But if you look at any three-game stretch
that Jones played this year,
and you look at Danny DeVito,
Tommy DeVito over the last three games,
it's hard, Ocho. it's hard to say he hasn't
played better than Daniel Jones
right
that's
tough, that's tough right there and I think
even with Tommy DeVito playing somewhat well
and playing somewhat decent, obviously getting the
win tonight, that's the same offensive line
that's the same offensive line that was criticized
when they said Daniel Jones didn't have time to throw, those are the same offensive line. That's the same offensive line that was criticizing when they said Daniel Jones
didn't have time to throw. Those are the same
receivers that Daniel Jones was throwing
to that Tommy DeVito
somehow is finding a way to get them
to football.
Yes. I have a question.
Are you saying that they should make a switch?
I don't think Daniel Jones is coming back this year.
And for me, even
if he...
No, but I said switch.
I meant like a actual switch.
So you're talking about next year?
Well, I think you put the job up.
You saw what Kyle Shanahan did.
What did Kyle Shanahan do with Brock Purdy?
Didn't he?
What did he do?
One guy was the third.
They moved heaven and earth to get him.
Third pick in the draft.
The other guy was a seventh rounder.
Missed irrelevant.
Okay.
He said, guess what?
Well, can you still do that?
Because the situation is kind of different.
You just paid Daniel Jones, I think, for your 98 million or something like that.
Can you still do that when you factor in the money?
The money part basically tells you Daniel Jones has to be the starter.
No, he doesn't have to be the starter.
This is a pay-for-play business.
Because think about what the 49ers mortgage.
Think about it.
They didn't get the compensation back for what they gave up to get him.
You know, you gave up, you gave up.
I mean, you gave up, what, three ones?
A two?
How do you get that?
And I think they got, a 5th or 6th
from the Cowboys
I think they got a 5th or 6th round pick
for Trey Lance
that's crazy
that's one thing about this business
it used to be like that
the hot dollar guys had to play
no more
you always gonna play yeah
they got a 4th rounder when they gave up 3 ones to get him right Hot dollar guys had to play. Yeah. No more. No. You're always going to play, yeah.
They got a fourth rounder.
When they gave up three ones to get him, right?
Think about it.
They gave up three ones.
That's crazy. They got a fourth in return and some other compensation.
But here's the thing.
I moved on from him.
Tommy DeVito's on a rookie contract.
Do you know the pieces that you can put around it?
And see, do you remember when I told you about,
we were talking about Chicago and Justin Fields?
I said, but here's why.
Because if you keep Justin Fields,
you're going to have to pay him somewhere
between 250 and 300 million
because he's going to be in his fourth year of the contract.
Yeah, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. He's going to be in his fourth year of the contract. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
He's going to be in the fourth year of his contract, but
is Justin Fields in a position to be
able to set the market again?
And reset the market? That's just the
going rate. That's just
the going rate for a quarterback.
No, no, no.
No, no, no, no. The going rate
the top three, top top four top five quarterbacks
set the market like that the going rate you have to fall in line based on production
they don't just pay you because that's what the market is got his money he got 40 million
you think you think you think justin field's gonna take less than $40 million? Yeah.
You got real quiet.
He ain't taking less than $40.
Because guess what, Ocho?
I signed my deal after he signed his.
Inflation, which means the prices goes up.
Right.
Right.
Yeah, but you have to understand,
even with inflation,
that is only so much you can ask for
because the first thing they're going to point to
is they're going to point to your stats,
they're going to point to your numbers.'re going to point to your numbers well listen we
can't we can't send you too high regards what inflation is because you know we're going to
look at your resume we're going to look at your production and what you've done for us now you
really don't warrant what you're asking for i don't give a fuck what inflation say i'm just
telling you from the business side of stuff that's why i think look at it going to the rookie because
i believe you can build around a guy that's on a rookie contract.
And that's playing well.
Other pieces around him.
Now I can come.
I got DJ more.
I got Cole commit.
Now I can go back.
Cause I'm going to have my pick and I'm going to get Carolinas,
which is the number one overall pick.
So guess what?
Hey,
I'll package move my pick.
Hey,
I come,
I come back up and get next year's pick.
I go get Marvin Harrison Jr.
I'll pair him with DJ Moore.
I'll pair him with Cole Kmet.
And now all of a sudden, I've got weapons.
Plus, ooh, that's nasty. Yeah, and plus, I believe, based on the situation
I think the Giants can use a quarterback
I think the Raiders can use a quarterback
the Patriots can use a quarterback
the Steelers can use a quarterback
there are teams
right
fans already picketing
you talk about Kenny Pickett
they're picketing
man stop you'd rather have Kenny Pickett, they're picketing.
Man, stop.
You'd rather have Kenny Pickett over Justin Fields?
You got to give the quarterback
three years.
No, no, no.
They ain't giving the quarterback.
No, Dad.
You don't arrive
to your third year.
You'd rather have Kenny Pickett
or Justin Fields?
Make it a break a year.
I like both of them boys.
I like both of them of them you can like somebody
as a person
but as a quarterback
ain't nobody
in their right mind
taking Kenny Pickett
over Justin Fields
I know what they need to do
I know what they need to do
but I don't mean to be off topic
talking about another team
and another quarterback
as far as the Steelers go
but they need to
goddamn get George Pickett
as a motherfucking ball
I'm sorry for cursing
I'm sorry for cursing. I'm sorry for cursing
but that's the only way I'm going to get my point across
and understanding the talent,
the talent that he is
and what I know he can do,
especially coming out.
They ain't using that young fella
the right way, man.
Boy, he can change the game.
At some point in time,
even though you might not get used the right way
and I understand the frustration level,
the way he and Deontay Johnson,
as Mike Tomlin likes to use,
that's not solution-based because
that type of behavior is not solving the problems.
It's creating and exacerbating
more of a problem.
Tell me.
I ain't even going to argue
the fact. I just understand winning cures all. So how does... Tell me. I ain't even going to argue the fact.
I just understand winning cures all.
So how does...
And you have two players at the receiver position
that are extremely, extremely good
and can change the game.
Those are the type of players that can make...
Ocho froze.
I think something happened to his Wi-Fi.
Hey, Ocho, pay think something happened to his wifi damn Ocho pay your cable bill did you not put your credit card on file for incidentals
damn
I think he used the cheapest internet service
he paid $20 to get the upgrade Ocho
right now as you can see
Ocho is having a little technical difficulties with his wifi.
But I think Ocho's,
what he's trying to say is that Deontay Johnson and,
uh,
George Pickens,
they're frustrated.
Uh,
they're not getting the football,
but they're the type of guys that can,
given the football,
he believes they can solve a lot of the ills and the issues that's going on
with the Steelers offense.
They can't.
But I don't understand how moping and pouting,
I don't understand how that helps the problem.
That's my only thing.
I just believe there's a right way and a wrong way to handle everything.
Having played the game, and I get it.
Everybody is not, everybody is, you know,
handle situation and crises,
or I wouldn't even consider this a crisis,
but everybody handles situations different.
And the way I handle situations
might not be the way Ocho handles situations,
might not be the way A receiver
or B receiver or C receiver at someplace else,
how they handle that situation.
But I just, you know,
my thing was always try to remain positive,
make sure that, try to lead by example understanding that hey yeah I want to catch the football and I do believe that I can
you know given the opportunity I can make plays but it doesn't always work out like that so
we'll see how we'll see what happens with the Steelers but right now they got bigger issues
than wide receivers their quarterback play has been abysmal.
Kenny Pickett, I do not believe is the answer.
Like I said, I believe the Steelers fans are ready to picket him playing.
And Trubisky is not much better.
And the mere fact that someone thought that Mitchell Trubisky was better than Deshaun Watson
when they played in the same conference.
And Deshaun Watson went to back-to-back national championship games
and won the final in a walk-off play.
You see Patrick Mahomes, I understand the Chiefs.
Now that was a big risk for the Chiefs moving up from 27 to 10 to take Patrick Mahomes.
But Andy saw something, says, you know what, with this guy,
we can really expand this offense because they were really good with Alex Smith.
You know, they had Tyreek, had Travis Kelsey. They had some
players, but they said, you know what?
We can be Kareem Hunt.
We can even be better if we had a
quarterback that's willing to push the ball
down the field. You know, I used to call Alex Smith
Checkdown Alex.
But when they
got Patrick Mahomes, this offense went to another
level. We got Ocho
back yet?
Ocho, log off and log back on.
See what's going on with Ocho.
Well, until Ocho gets back,
Deshaun Jackson is feeling disrespected by the Eagles.
D-Jack, number 10, is currently being warned by a punter.
D-Jack told Kay Adams, man, you see that?
That's disrespectful, low-key. You got a punter wearing D-Jack told Kay Adams, man, you see that? That's disrespectful, low-key.
You got a punter wearing D-Jack's number?
Oh my gosh, man.
I guess I'm not as special as I thought I was.
I don't necessarily
believe it's that, D-Jack, but
I mean, did you want him to,
you know, there's only
I think, what, 10 jerseys that's retired? I think there's only 10 jerseys. I mean, did you want him to, you know, there's only, I think, what, 10 jerseys that's retired?
I think there's only 10 jerseys.
I mean, you're looking at Reggie White.
You're looking at Tom Brokshaw.
You're looking at Donovan McNabb.
You're looking at, rest his soul, excuse me, rest his soul, Reggie White also.
Concrete Charlie, Chuck McNerrick, rest his soul.
Jerome Boogie Brown.
We know what tragically happened. He was well on his way. He was
one of the premier defensive linemen when he tragically
lost his life in a car accident.
Van
Buren.
I think he
still has the record for the most passing yards in the game,
right? 554?
I think that's the record.
I mean, look, I get it it all of us that you know we played
and we had success at a at a at a at a team sometimes we overvalue ourselves and sometimes
i think we think we're more important than than we actually are but i do think d jack is worthy
of being in the ring of fame um ring of honor, and I think that's going to happen, but
D-Jack, don't take it
as a slight, because the year I left, they gave
my number, they gave 84
away too. I was
a four-time first-team All-Pro,
seven Pro Bowls, and a two-time Super Bowl champ,
and they gave my number
to a guy, so it happens, D-Jack.
Don't let that ruffle your feathers, bro.
You were a great Eagles player player uh you long to be remembered um an all pro at two different positions uh you
all pro at wide receiver and punt returner in the same season not very many guys can say that
so you have a lot to be proud of for what you accomplished in in in philly and so they're
gonna love you um and i promise you every time they see the number 10,
they're thinking D-Jack.
Even though somebody is wearing that number,
they're definitely thinking Deshaun Jackson.
Is he back yet?
Can we see what's going on?
We reached out.
Kyle Shanahan targeted DK Metcalf.
Kyle Shanahan encouraged his players
to try to set DK off
and try to get him to lose his cool in Sunday's game.
Shanahan even prepared a set of video clips for his team
that showed DK losing his cool in previous games.
Shanahan told his players,
we will get 14 to lose his mind.
Christmas present for whomever gets it.
Wow. And I think
DK understands
that he's going to have to do a better job of controlling his
temper because that's the word on the street.
You can get DK frustrated
and get him to get
unsportsmanlike conduct penalties
and there's never a situation in which an
unsportsmanlike conduct penalty
helps your team.
Actually, it hurts your team.
And in that situation, he got kicked out of the ballgame. And I understand he took a starting corner with him,
but I think DK is a bigger loss than D'Amador or Lenore.
And you have to understand that.
You have to understand the risk-reward.
They're losing their second, third corner.
You're losing
your number one receiver.
But DK's definitely going to have to do
a better job of controlling
his temper. And I get the frustration
and I get that
he didn't know that
Warner, Fred Warner, had
actually laddered the football. He's just
trying to tackle it.

Did you hear me?
Yes, we got you.
You got me?
Yeah, yeah, man.
The Wi-Fi here in the hotel done cut off, man.
Yeah, I keep telling you.
Go ahead and update.
Look, you could upgrade Wi-Fi in the hotel for $20.
You keep trying to dig the introductory Wi-Fi.
No, not here.
That's not where I'm at. That's not where I'm at.
I'm staying at
a little motel.
You could upgrade the Wi-Fi
for an additional $20
instead of the introductory Wi-Fi.
But they don't
have that to
choose from on the menu.
They don't have that to choose from on the menu. But don't have that to choose from on the menu.
But I apologize to y'all
that's my bad.
I'm always trying to find loopholes.
I keep telling you, be as cheap
as you want to, but don't be cheap to yourself.
Well, I'm going to always be cheap to myself.
That's why I'm finding myself
in these predicaments like this. I apologize.
But you robbing our fans.
That's 10 minutes our fans didn't get to go back and forth between you and I.
Right, but you know what's going to happen.
We're going to get our fans 10 more minutes back than they just missed.
No, we're not going to do that.
Yes, I do.
You ain't got nowhere to go.
Before you left, I...
Yeah. Oh, no, we got to go to the uh andy reed andy reed uh said
cadarious tony didn't check with the official although it did look like he did look to his left
and check with the official yeah but he did he did he should have waited he would he should have
waited for the the official to confirm i actually when cadararius came out and pointed to the official I saw the
other angle, right? But
all Kadarius had to do was
he looked so damn
fast when he lined up, he should have
looked back one more time.
Actually, from the clip I saw
as a receiver, you can see
you know that.
You can see
the ball a little bit, You know that. You can see he covered the ball a little bit.
So, I think he would never,
the problem, he won't have it again.
Obviously, you don't make that type of mistake twice,
even though it shouldn't happen
because, you know, you own the ball.
But it's very unfortunate for the Chiefs.
You know, and when I saw that angle,
I'm like, oh, shit, he did check with the ref.
But he was so far over the ball.
He checked with the ref.
But here's the thing.
Normally, like, when you're outside the numbers,
you ask, he can say 85, back up.
Johnson, you can hear
you right there.
But he was so far.
You don't think it's up
to the ref to at least acknowledge
or scream
819, back up.
In that situation, you're not going to be able to hear because he's so
tight to the formation
and the referee, that's the side judge.
So he's on the sideline.
But like they said, we can give you a warning and say,
but ultimately it's your responsibility
to line up onside.
And plus the thing is, if you notice,
he's looking down.
He can see the ball.
He can, oh, he's like looking.
And I think Andy Reid Reid once he saw how far
he was over he came back and
changed his tune now that's not to say the
NFL didn't call him and say Andy
you DA you DA on
this one you DA
on this one now we go
yeah yeah we gonna tag you a little bit
but you wrong because your guy was
off sides
but he said Andy Yeah, yeah, we're going to tackle you a little bit, but you're wrong because your guy was offside.
But he says, Andy says, I won't be giving up on Kadarius Toney.
He makes plays when he has the ball in his hand, and that's important.
He's a young guy. He doesn't have a ton of experience,
but I think he's getting better every week.
How about some guys that came out?
What about Jamar Chase?
Have you ever heard his head coach
say anything about
he's not
he's a young guy
and he doesn't have
a ton of experience
you ever heard that
what about Devontae
Devontae Smith
was in that draft
what about Jalen Waddle
yeah
everybody growth
and everybody experience
and the way they mature
and play the game
everybody's different
in the way they go about it Armand St's different in the way they go about it.
Armand St. Brown.
In the way they go about it.
But I do know...
Ocho.
That motherfucker, that nice player.
Ocho, but this is what I want.
Nice.
Think about it now.
He's a first-round pick,
and the team that originally drafted
gave up on him after 22 games.
Ocho, they not giving up.
You just said, make that money.
They got to keep you a little longer.
They not giving up on a first... Ocho, and not giving up. You just said make that money. They got to keep you a little longer. They not giving up on the first
Ocho. And you Brian Dayball?
Name one player that you've ever
heard something that could have gotten along with Brian
Dayball or has something negative to
say about Brian Dayball.
Right.
At some point in time...
Listen, young
Bull, young Bull, young bull,
young bull,
nice, man.
Young bull is gangster.
He nasty with it,
with the ball in his hands.
I think the only thing
stopping him right now
is just a little bit of confidence
because when he on...
But can he keep the ball in his hands?
He's special with it.
He's special with it.
We just need it to be consistent.
Once we get a consistent Cadareous Tony,
man, shit, hell.
Watch out, man.
I'm just telling you.
I believe you.
I'm telling you.
I know we see,
listen, we see flashes of it
and then we have moments
like what we had last night.
You know, the offside,
sometimes we get the
occasional drop here and there.
But man, with that boy his own,
I'm not going to take nothing,
listen, I'm not going to
take nothing from him.
I just know with the only on.
When I saw a flash, I guess it was a falling star or something.
But I need something to shine bright all the time, Ocho.
Right, right, right, right.
Listen, I mean, he trains and works for it to shine bright all the time.
You know, sometimes it just don't happen like that for us.
Sometimes it don't happen like that for us.
You know what Ocho here is the thing.
It's the same mistakes, Ocho.
What is it that he's missing?
It's the same mistakes.
He's consistently making the same
mistakes. So he is consistent.
It's just making mistakes.
Little structural discipline
goes a long way
He gonna get it
He gonna get it right
Young fella
Young fella now
Cause you know
When you was a young pup
Now you made mistakes
Don't do that
I remember you
I remember when you was 25
Oh how old was I
He might not be that old
Probably about 23
He probably came out early
That's it
Wait
That's it
Oh man
23 man
shit
well you know what I was doing
when I was 23
hopefully not making
those kind of mistakes
yeah
yeah
same mistakes
when I was 23
in Cincinnati
I'd never forget
uh
what else I missed
you missed uh
yeah you got your TV on What else I missed? You missed... Yeah.
You got your TV on.
You got your TV on?
Your TV.
Your TV.
My who?
Yeah.
Can you turn it off?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Why?
How you know?
Yes.
That's bad?
Ocho, can you please turn your TV off?
I wouldn't be asking for my help
Okay, hold on
Oh, you can see the reflection
It's blinking, huh?
You can hear it too
But anyway
It wasn't on
It was muted
We hear everything, Ocho.
We good.
We good now.
A lot better.
But I just think the thing is that, look, I understand, yes,
they're going to be growing pains.
But Ocho, if you keep making the same mistakes,
either one or two things, either you having a problem learning
or you saying F it, which is I need to get to the root of the problem.
That's all I'm saying.
Right.
The root of the problem is doing it in practice
and then just having it translate over into the game.
Because when you do it in practice,
you're doing it to obviously have the results in game.
Sometimes you make mistakes.
Sometimes you drop balls.
Sometimes, like we saw,
you line up in a very important moment
and, you know, people see it as a bonehead play,
something that we learn in P.B. football,
how to line up and not cover up the ball.
Let me ask you a question, Ocho.
Why did you practice?
Yes, sir.
Yes.
Why did you practice?
Why did you guys practice
to get better at my craft to get better at my craft and so i can go out there and execute the
game plan on the way i looked at practice i didn't practice so i got it right i practiced
so i couldn't get it wrong right there is a difference between the two that's a good one
right and you have to And you have to be able
because at practice, Ocho,
you're never going to be able to simulate
what's transpiring in the game.
The 80,000 fans, the bumping,
the officials.
I mean, we have officials in training camp,
but once the training camp's over with,
we don't have officials at practice anymore, Ocho.
So now I need to get myself
in the right frame of mind.
And I think the thing is,
the thing that Mike, man,
you make the same mistake twice
with Mike,
what the hell the pain?
He do something to you?
Because he's going to ask you,
he'll say,
so what did you do last night
that got your mind
focused that you can't focus on
what you got going on right now?
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's only one way to
do it, Ocho. Remember what I used to say all
the time, get good or get gone.
Now, what you want to do, you're going to get good
or you want to get gone?
Because we're going to tolerate you until we can replace you.
And that's with anything.
That's in any job or any relationship.
You know, sometimes a female will let a guy talk to her any kind of way.
A male will let a female talk to him any kind of way.
And they'll tolerate said behavior.
And then all of a sudden, they can find somebody to step in.
Boom.
Why? Well, what? I'm good.
Yeah.
Hey, listen.
Everything is replaceable
in life.
Whether you're in business, whether you're in sports,
whether you're in relationships. And a lot
of people feel that they're not replaceable.
But the man upstairs will humble you real
quick.
Yes.
You know this.
Especially after a certain period of time,
they're looking
for your replacement.
They're looking for it.
Unless you're one of these elite players,
they're looking for your replacement. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then once you're one of these elite, elite players. They looking for your replacement.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then once you get to a certain age, you can be elite.
And they still looking for your replacement.
Looking for your replacement.
Yeah.
That's business.
That's the nature of the business.
D-Jack is feeling disrespected by the Eagles.
I talked about this earlier, but I wanted to get your take.
D-Jack's number 10 jersey is currently being worn by the punter Brandon
Brandon Mann. Brandon Mann.
D-Jack told Kay Adams, man, you
see that? And that's kind of, that's disrespectful
low-key. You got a punter wearing
D-Jack's number? Oh my gosh, man.
I guess I'm not as special as I thought I was,
man.
Yeah, man. D-Jack
and what he did for the city of Philadelphia,
man, during his time And his tenure there
In Philadelphia
Yes
Was elite
You know
He was a very
Very very
Very dynamic player
One of the few players
In the NFL
During his time
Where when the ball
Is coming his way
Yeah he wanted to
Drop by
They're very few players
Ever Ocho
And
Of all
Of all time
Yes
The real
Motherfucking Holy field He's the real motherfucking
Holyfield
he's the real deal so I understand
how he feels and why he feels that way
you know
I'm kind of different though
I don't really like the comparison
because I think D-Jack
to me is a much better player
so I understand
where the
where the where the
where the bothersome comes from
and allowing someone else
to even wear the 10.
But do the Philadelphia Eagles
retire jerseys?
I think they got 10 players retired.
They got Donovan McNabb.
You know, they got Reggie White.
They got Steve Van Buren.
They got Tom Brookshaw.
I know you don't remember
Tom Brookshaw,
but CBS was the first crew to have.
But him and Summer, all those guys.
So they used to have a lineup doing color.
They got Jerome.
They got Boogie Brown.
Jerome Brown.
You know what?
He tragically lost his life in 92 a couple of weeks, a week or a couple of days before his birthday in a car accident.
his birthday in a car accident.
Man.
They got Concrete Charlie, rest his soul,
Chuck McNary,
the last two-way player,
Reggie White, rest his soul, the minister
of defense.
But the way
for me, I remember when I left
Denver in
2000,
I was a seven consecutive Pro Bowls,
four first-team All-Pros,
and two-time Super Bowl champ.
And I found out they gave my number
to a wide receiver.
But no matter who gets an 84,
you go ask anybody in Denver,
84, they would talk about
that Shannon Sharpe number.
So I don't care who they put in that number.
I don't care who they put in it.
Right. Bronco country
Shannon and 84
so
yeah I get
D-Jack and that's what I said earlier
Ocho is that no matter who
they put in 10
D-Jack is 10
for them
it's synonymous with him.
Yeah.
Same thing with 85.
I think 85 is his net.
I mean, honestly, I do, Ocho.
Oh, you think you see Isaac Curtis?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, that's fine.
Ain't nothing wrong with that because he's the original 85.
Okay, that's fine.
That's fine.
But you have to understand, Ocho, like I said,
I'm old enough to remember Isaac Curtis.
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
I remember. I did my homework before remember Isaac Curtis. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I remember.
I did my homework
before I got there.
I did my homework.
I know about it.
He was the real deal.
Let's see here.
What else we got?
Oh, check this out.
Kyle Shanahan targeted DK.
Kyle encouraged his players
to try to set DK off
and try to get him
to lose his cool
in Sunday's game.
Shanahan even prepared
a set of video clips
for his team that showed DK losing his cool in Sunday's game. Shanahan even prepared a set of video clips for his team
that showed DK losing his cool in the previous game.
Shanahan told his players,
we'll get 14 to lose his mind.
Christmas present for whomever gets him.
Ocho, did you ever play against a guy or team
that you knew you could exploit?
You know what?
That's a great question.
I like the way you said that.
Obviously, Marvin Lewis didn't have any film or any stuff like anything like that to show
us.
But what I did do was I played mental gymnastics.
I did as much talking throughout the week.
I did as much talking as I could in pregame to try to get in guys' heads.
If I can get you to engage with me in any way, whether it be nice,
whether it be mean,
then I know I'll have you beat
a little bit.
That gives me a little edge mentally.
Physically,
you might be better than me.
But I need to beat you
in the middle game.
That's where I'm going to win.
I'm going to beat you
in the middle game.
If I can get in your head
just a little bit
and throw you off for real,
just a tad bit,
that means I got you.
And that's the way I went about it.
As far as, I mean, you got to understand the defenses I had to play against.
Man, the 2,000 Ravens, them 2,000 Steelers.
Man, even the Cleveland Browns back then, man, them boys were the real deal.
So I needed them to be angry.
I needed you to be mad and trying to hurt me.
That means you're not playing smart football.
You trying to kill. You know, you trying to hurt me. That means you're not playing smart football. You're trying to kill.
You know, you're trying to knock my head off.
And that gives me an advantage and it gives me somewhat of an edge.
Because you're playing wild and free and reckless.
As long as I'm technically sound, I'm going to be okay.
Yeah.
And that's the way I went about it.
I think the thing is that DK has a history of getting unsportsmanlike conduct.
I think the thing is that DK has a history of getting unsportsmanlike conduct.
And so until he gets that under control, guys are going to try to bait him because normally it's a situation.
OK, he got thrown out of the game.
Dumbledore, Lenore got thrown out.
Yeah, that's not equal.
That's not equal value.
And plus, he has to understand Lenore.
It's like, man, even though we're already down Ward, man, we get DK
out of here. Oh, we good.
We Gucci. Yeah.
It evens back up.
And that was the thing, Ocho.
See, for me, it's easy
because guys want
to shut me down to say, I got to pick
off Shannon Sharp.
Or I didn't let him catch a pass.
So the guy carried me up the scene.
You ain't getting nothing, Sharp. I said, but you
got the flat. You see TD?
TD running. You're worried about what I got.
I ain't supposed to. I'm clear.
Oh.
Give him a nod. I give him a move
to the post.
You got the corner. Why you biting
the move when you got the safety and you're in cover one?
The safety gonna knock my head off.
You undercut the route,
I'm going back to the cover.
Uh-oh.
See?
Because you so caught up
in trying to shut me down.
Anxious.
Now you getting out
of your responsibility.
But we play certain teams
that we already know
we going to the game. We gonna get an unsportsmanlike that we already know. We go into the game.
We're going to get an unsportsmanlike conduct against Kansas City.
We're going to get the Raiders.
Oh, we already knew.
We already know it's going to happen.
Shut up.
You suck, too.
He suck.
You suck.
All y'all suck.
Man, shut up, Sean.
You talk too much.
Well, do something about it.
You ain't going to do nothing. All y'all going to do is talk. Y'all talk. Watch this right here. Oh, Sean. You talk too much. Well, do something about it. You ain't going to do nothing.
All y'all going to do is talk.
Y'all talking.
Watch this right here.
Oh, man.
I ain't need to score.
I love that.
I love that.
Because now, because I'm all tired.
Because normally, I'm going to have to run away.
I won't TD.
I won't ride the score.
So now, I got all the oxygen in my lungs.
So now, I'm just talking the whole
I'm in your ear
told y'all y'all suck
you talking like you like that
you not
you not
now see me you lucky he got you
now see you keep talking to me
you gonna find your name on the waiver while come Monday
now keep talking
keep talking now watch what I do to you talk
yeah you see you you talk you talk a different type of trash you know mine was more of a it's
hard to explain it was more of an entertaining I'm a I'm a jig at you and jig at you but not
in a negative way not in a malicious way I'm trying to hold a conversation with you man how
the family how the kids doing man? How the kids doing?
Man, you and the wife, you and the wife doing good?
If I can get you to engage
in any type of conversation with me,
I was just playing my games.
I was just playing my games, and it
worked. I had the time
to work. I got into it with the
linemen, rest his soul, Cortez Kennedy.
Man, me and Tez used to be going back
and forth.
As soon as the game over, Sean, man, you crazy.
How your brother doing? How your family doing?
But we going back and forth. Same thing
with Chester McLaughlin. Rest his soul.
Man, I used to go, hey, see, I got
into it normally with the
linemen, the D linemen, because they
was really the only ones that would go
back and forth with me.
So, but our offensive linemen would get upset because now they're teeing off on them.
I ain't got to block them.
Yeah.
See, I got in trouble like that, too.
I'd never forget, man.
I'd never forget.
When we played the Ravens, you know, I like to go argue with Joey Porter.
I like to go argue with Joey Porter.
Okay.
Oh, you talking about Bart Scott?
And argue with Ray Lewis.
No, with Bart, with Ray.
And I used to mess with the linemen.
Haloti Nata.
Peter Boulware.
Peter Boulware there.
Yeah.
Listen, I like to go talk trash to them during the TV timeout.
I'm never in my huddle.
I'm all in the Ravens or the Steelers huddle.
And Big Willie had to get on me over and over and over.
Ocho, man, get over here, man.
You don't have to deal with them.
You amping them up and ramping them up.
We got to deal with them.
Ain't nothing wrong with that, Ocho.
I'm like, man, it's cool.
Hey, Big Willie, baby. They put their pants on one leg at a time, just like we do.
I had to celebrate a little bit.
Shannon.
Shannon Sharp was number one.
What did you celebrate?
What happened?
Complex, most entertaining sports media personalities.
I was one.
Stephen A was two.
Charles Barkley was three.
Pat McAfee was four.
Shaq was five.
Cameron and Mason was six.
Gilbert Arenas was seven.
J.J. Reddick was eight.
Michael Irvin was nine.
And Mina Kav was six.
I mean, ten.
Those were the top ten.
Yeah.
Hey, we finna celebrate.
Hold on, hold on.
We finna celebrate.
Hold on.
Huh?
We finna celebrate.
Oh, you know what they say?
They say brand is dandy, but liquor's quicker.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Well, they say a loophole is better.
But I don't know.
That's it.
I'm going to get somebody's donut, though.
You know what, Ocho?
It wasn't no liquor that killed old Bill.
It didn't even take his breath.
A little green harness went up Bill's nose and tickled old Bill to death.
But you know, it is.
I know.
Nice and smooth.
Congratulations.
You know, I like to get by the fireplace.
You know, you don't really turn the fireplace on in California.
Yeah.
But, you know, you sit by the fireplace and you sit back and you reflect.
Yeah.
You reflect.
And I know.
Right.
Yeah.
I understand that 2023 didn't get off to the best
start for me there are a lot of things that was going on the situation that happened at the lakers
game what was going on me with undisputed but i remember and i tweeted this and if y'all go back
and look you can see i said 2023 gonna be my year because i my sister sent me a quote she said if
you if you kneel before god, he will stand for you.
And if he stands for you, no one can stand against you. But this couldn't be possible without you.
Look, I would be remiss if I didn't mention my six years and nine months at Undisputed and Skip giving me an opportunity because that's kind of where it started.
I was able to to to formulate a personality, become relatable.
And so I really appreciate Undisputed and Skip giving me that opportunity.
And then Steve and A come in.
And I've only worked with Steve and A for about four months.
And him giving me an opportunity.
And if you notice, I'm getting more and more comfortable.
So I'm starting to be more and more like the Shannon that they saw in Undisputed.
And then you and I get together.
You and I have been working together for a little over three months.
And so there's a lot that went into this.
And although I'm number one, I couldn't have done this without Skip.
I could not have done this without Stephen A.
And I couldn't.
We number one.
Next year, that's what needs to happen.
That's what needs to happen.
We need to look look Cam and Mason
here as a duo they're actually
they're the only duo on here
so we definitely need to be
and I got no problem with that
Kelsey
we gonna be number one next year
Kelsey the Kelsey brothers are 21
so they're the only
brothers they're the only combo
everybody else are individuals
and so
we gonna be number one now
cause what we doing right now
is sitting in such a short
amount of time
at the rate
and the pace that we going
even after
you got honorable mention
Ocho
honorable mention
I got honorable mention
yeah
honorable mention
Candace Parker,
Matt Barnes and Stack,
Marshawn Lynch, the Manning Brothers,
and Jeff Teague.
I got honorable mention.
Boy, I ain't never won that in life, but I'll take that.
You got honorable mention after three months.
Imagine after you get an entire
year up under your belt of doing this.
And we
do what we do, because we're only going to
get better because we put this thing together last minute and really had no knowledge because yeah
i know i knew you but we haven't spent a whole lot of time around each other so the chemistry
that we've developed we've developed that on the, listen, the chemistry was already there now.
We cut from the same clock.
So when you look at it and you look at what we've been able to do thus far,
like I said, the time that I spent on Undisputed,
Jamie Horowitz, who's one of my bosses over at The Volume,
when they came down, he's like, hey.
And he said, you're going to be a star.
He said, with your quick wit, your hard work, you're going to be great.
Stephen A. says, look, my job is to take you to a level to make you bigger than what you already are.
And if I can't do that, I failed you.
He told me that he said I'm gonna make sure however big you are currently
my job is to make sure
you're 2X
3X that
if you were to decide to leave
and then getting you
yes
well hold on
hold on now
I wanna be double XL2 now
so
y'all gonna bring me
on board
you got this doing this
think about it
yeah yeah oh on the yeah three months Y'all gonna bring me on board? You got this doing this. Think about it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Three months.
Yeah.
So imagine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Two months.
We've been doing this since September.
We in the third month now. We lost the channel two months ago, but we've been doing this since September.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay. Shit. I want to be big, too. I want to be big too i want to be famous yeah shit i want to rub
shoulders but you look at it you look at the guys i mean obviously for me charles barkley is the guy
that i looked at because charles is from alabama and i said rural alabama hell everything in
alabama is rural it ain't no ain't no city parts of Alabama. Everything in Alabama is rule.
But it was him that
could be his authentic self.
He played the sport.
He didn't have a problem
criticizing players,
even though players,
it rubbed some players
the wrong way.
And I know he takes
a lot of criticism
because he never won
a championship.
But I'm a firm believer, Ocho,
you can be a great player
and not win a championship.
Greatness. Yeah. Right. And so firm believer, Ocho, you can be a great player and not win a championship. Greatness.
And so for me,
I mean, you're looking
at one. I look at Pat McAfee
and I look at the model which he was able to do.
He's a punter. Punters don't normally
ascend to the level of
which he's ascended to.
And to see him go from
doing his little thing in his basement
and having a little this and that, and all of a sudden he has 2.3 million subs.
And also he's taking a model that's taken him going from digital to taking it to linear television.
So you look at him.
And so for me, I'm like, I want Pat McAfee, having been around him a little while and talked to him, I want him to succeed to show that this model can be successful.
So the bigger,
so the more successful he becomes,
that let guys that's in the space
like you and I,
that hey,
maybe there's a potential run
that we could,
but if it doesn't happen, Ocho,
I'm cool with this being,
I'll be in our home right here.
Right.
But no, no, no, no, no.
But that's not,
that's not how it's going be i've already foreseen the
future but here's the thing i already know what's gonna happen anything you touch anything you touch
anything i've touched anything you've ever touched it turns a goal whatever vision you have it always
comes into fruition that's just that's just the way that's just the way god works god has favor
he's always had favor for you and he's always had favor for me.
Now, when you put both of us together,
now the dynamic duo and what we've been able to create
in such a short amount of time
needs to be a study done at Harvard
because it's never been done this fast before.
Ocho, but here's the thing.
What we do on Nightcap
is not cut out for linear television
because if we take Nightcap
to linear television,
we're going to have to dilute it too much.
And that takes a... Ocho,
listen to me, Ocho. I'm
telling you how linear television works.
We can do this
because we own digital.
You think we can talk about what we talk about
on television?
Yes. Can I say something?
We
could change the motherfucking landscape
of linear television
by not changing.
They're not going to,
Ocho,
you think they're going to let us
talk about what I said
about Meg Thee Stallion
or what we talked about
Miss Nasty B?
Ocho, come on now.
That's what TV is missing, Unc.
They missing the real,
they missing the real us.
You know, they missing the real us. That's why digital, you know,
they missing authentic,
organic material and content.
That's what we need.
We need to take a stand
and get on linear TV
and just be us.
I'm going to let you take your stand
and you go to linear television.
I'm going to stay right here
on YouTube with this
or we're going to have to get a different,
we're going to have to do something else.
But Nightcap in its form currently
does not exist on linear television.
Right.
And it's okay.
Look at Howard Stern.
Okay.
All right.
Howard Stern ain't been on linear.
And when you see what-
Hey.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hey.
Yeah.
That's a big boy there, man.
It's okay.
Yeah.
You know, digital, they pay money too.
Right.
And you're getting more things. You get the Amazons. You get the Netflix. You know, digital, they pay money too. And you're getting more things.
You get the Amazons.
You get the Netflix.
You get the Hulus.
Hey, you got the YouTube.
YouTube just purchased the NFL, the rights for 10 years.
So it's okay.
For me, I'm cool.
I'm cool with it.
Yeah, I'm cool. I'm cool with it.
Yeah, I feel you.
But I think I just don't like the fact that we can't be on linear television and actually be organic ourselves because of the era.
Yeah, I know.
But that's what TV need.
That's what TV need. They need that raw, uncut, uncensored.
Just they need, I'm not rude.
I just say what everyone else is thinking.
Yeah, see?
That's what we need right there.
We got it right here.
We got it right here, Ocho.
That's what we need right there.
We got it right here.
Think about this, Ocho.
I feel you.
I feel you.
I'm just saying.
I'm looking at the bigger picture.
I'm looking at the bigger picture.
You know Mr. Beast?
He does $60 million a year.
And he ain't on linear television.
Oh, yeah, he nice.
And they've been asking him to go to linear.
He said, no, I'm good right here.
Right.
Let's not.
They'll try to shame him up, though.
What do you think they're going to do with us?
You think they're going to let us talk about the topic that we talk about?
How we talk about it? You think I was going to let us talk about the subject that we talk about? How we talk about it?
You think I was going to...
You think I'm going to be able to say a word of the three?
You think I'm going to be able to say saloon doors?
Deep, hard, and continuous.
Come on, Joe, man.
We got to be real in our assessment.
I wasn't...
Okay, okay, okay.
I was just saying, if we never knock the door down,
it ain't gonna never open.
Guess what?
I got you.
I'll build a house around the door.
We ain't gotta knock it down.
We gonna build a structure around the door
that's erect already.
Check this out, Ojo.
The heir to the retail empire, Hermes.
That's how it's pronounced.
Hermes.
Hermes.
He's planning to adopt
his 51-year-old gardener
so he can pass
his $11 billion fortune
to him.
He's the grandson
of the founder
of the fashion giant
who owns 5.7% of the country.
I mean, excuse me, the company.
Yes.
Nicholas Puch.
Puch. Nicholas Puch.
Wait.
So he's given a small percentage
of the money to the Gardner?
$1 billion. He wants to adopt
him so he can leave $11
billion to the Gardner.
He has, he doesn't
have kids, but he has siblings.
And see,
and I want to see what you have to say about this.
Sometimes people
think because you're blood,
but sometimes people that
are not blood will treat you better
than people that you share a bloodline
with. And
then there's an expectation
where I'm your blood, no matter
how bad I should treat you, I treat
you, yeah. I'm entitled.
No, you're not finna treat me. You're not finna
treat me bad and think I'm gonna leave
what I've accumulated to you.
I wish I might. And when some
when somebody else is treating
me better.
So what's your take on that, Ocho?
I mean, I like it.
I like it.
It's a bit odd.
It doesn't happen much.
But in life,
especially when it comes to business
and sometimes you have things
going for yourself.
Let's say you got a clothing business.
Your family will be the first one to say,
man,
shoot me something
and let me wear it.
Why not support?
Why not support?
Your biggest support
is when you have
something going on
or you're selling the product
or anything you have
going on in life.
Your biggest support
are the strangers
that you don't even know.
Don't even know.
You don't even know.
Don't even know.
Every time. It always happens like that
because the people you do know,
man, front your boy something.
And you know black folk favorite line,
boy, let your boy get a discount.
They'll pay $6,000
for Louis Vuitton and won't pay $100
for your stuff. Oh, yeah.
Oh, never.
Never. Because you know Louis Vuitton
is a status symbol.
It's an image.
You know, it's a portrayal of I got money.
I ain't got no problem with Louis.
I own Louis Vuitton luggage and gear.
But I'm just saying, for me, you know, like a lot of times people hit me up.
That's a lot of money, though.
11 billion
wait
you see how much those earned man's bag cost
they got bags that cost that started like
25 30 thousand and go up
to a million a bag
yeah
yeah hey listen I did my homework
now you know Christmas coming up
yes
Floyd Mayweather was the first person I ever saw with that bag Listen, I did my homework now. You know Christmas coming up. You heard about the Himalayan bag.
Floyd Mayweather was the first person I ever saw with that bag.
Well, actually, I saw Sotheby's auction one off way back for like 300.
But Kim K got a Himalayan.
Floyd Mayweather got a Himalayan duffel.
Yeah.
I think Drake might have one too.
I think Drake got one in the house
and Ocho you just can't walk up
in there and get one I don't care how
much money you got oh no
they got a list
they got a list
ask me how
I know it's a list
cause Christmas coming up
cause when I tried to get something and I wasn't on it that's how I know it's a list because Christmas coming up was a list
because when I tried
to get something
and I wasn't on it
that's how I knew
it was a list
that's how I knew
it was a list Ocho
hey
because
they like you
ain't on it bro
hey
that's a
that's a different
world up there man
that's a different
world up there man
you know
but sometimes
Ocho, sometimes
manners
and good friends can get you
things money can't buy.
Man, say that one more time for the
people in case they missed it, man. Sometimes manners
and good friends can get
you things money can't buy.
Well, you lucky I ain't got my pen and paper with me.
For sure, Ocho.
I'm just, it's, and you never know.
Ocho, I ain't gonna lie, Ocho.
Since I've been on my own,
and I'm not really on my own,
but I'm just saying as an entity
trying to grow Shea Media,
I've had more people
reach out and want to
help me in a lot of different areas.
I like the way you conduct yourself.
I like the way you speak.
I like the way you treat people. I like the way you
handle yourself.
I help you here. Well,
I know somebody over here. Let me put you in contact with them. I know somebody over here
let me put you in contact with them
I know somebody over there
a lot of what transpired of what you see
going on somebody referred
but I had no idea had no knowledge of these people
Ocho
right that's why I say
Ocho
that's loud
my grandfather used to say, boy, be careful.
The toes you step on today
might be connected to the foot
on the leg
that lead to the butt
you got to kiss tomorrow.
Be careful how you treat people.
You never know.
Come on, man.
You preach it.
It ain't even Sunday, man.
You ain't got to preach like that.
The toes you step on today
might be on the foot,
connected to the leg, that lead to the butt.
You got to kiss them off.
Be careful how you treat people.
Yes, sir.
You never know how you treat somebody today
and the position that they're in tomorrow.
I had a young lady I met 20-plus years ago.
20.
Yeah.
We kept in contact. she hey Shannon um we having
a conversation would you be interested yes deal got done 20 years might talk to her once every
four years but she remembered she was at an entry level her Her job was to come and to show me around and help things like that.
But she got a higher job now.
And she remembered how Shannon Sharp treated her.
Even though I was in the NFL how I was, she said, you know what?
He didn't look down on me because I was in the position that I was in.
That's how I say, be careful how you treat people.
Because you never know.
Yeah, yeah.
Especially when you're high up, especially when you're winning.
You know, normally when you're winning and you got money and things are going really
well for you, you know, people tend to act funny.
You know, they move differently.
Because it makes people, when people have wealth and and money you feel like you're invincible for
some reason you feel like you you you yeah it's you against the world ain't nobody nobody tell
you nothing nothing at all and you know sometimes you treat people bad sometimes you treat people
bad because you feel you're better than others i've never ever ever ever and i think this is
a funny story and this this going for people in the chat.
This is going for people in the chat.
I'm sure there are people
that have crossed paths with me
at some point that might be watching.
I have a thing that I'm known for doing,
and I've been doing it for years,
even when I was playing,
is I have a thing for telling people
I love you.
Obviously, I tweet it every day,
but if you ever met me in public,
I tell people I love you,
and everybody get a hug. And I introduce myself and act like I've known him for 30 years and I ain't seen him and I ain't never seen him a day in my life.
But I always like to make people feel like you. Yeah.
I always like to make people feel like I know him or they've known me for years because obviously during my playing day, you know, the media vilified me and I bought into it
and being the villain.
So,
I just like to people show,
I like to show people,
you know,
my true colors
and my other side
that really is me.
You know,
the fun,
the loving,
you know,
the playful.
And people walk up to me
and like,
man,
listen,
I ain't want to bother you
before he even finish talking.
Man,
bring it here,
man.
Give me a fucking hug.
Where you been at
all these years, man? Yeah, just making people feel man. I mean, man, bring it here, man. Give me a fucking hug. Where you been at all these years, man?
Yeah, just making people feel good.
I think that's how you was raised.
I just remember my grandmother always, you know,
treat people with respect.
For me, Ocho, I've never, even from,
and I think because I didn't have a whole lot,
and even as I started to accumulate,
I never thought I was better than someone else.
I might think I could do my job
better than you could do your job,
but that doesn't think
I'm better than you
because I have more than you.
I might think I'm better
at what I do
as opposed to what you do,
what you better than what you do.
But I don't think I'm better than you
because I have, because I'm on
television, because I played in the NFL,
because I got a gold jacket. No,
I'm not better than you because
of that. Now, I think I do what
I do right now on television. I don't think
there's very many people out there. I don't think there's
anybody that can do what I do better than what
I do it.
But that's just the way
I was raised. But that's just the way that's just the way
I was raised.
And my great,
my grandmother's
greatest enjoyment.
It wasn't that she had
two grand boys
that made it to the NFL
that graduated college
that was making millions.
Her greatest enjoyment
when people came and say,
Mary, you did a great job
with them boys.
Because everybody,
that's how they, you know,
that's a Southern thing.
That's how they respect.
They ain't really, I don't remember ever being called by name. I thought my that's how they, you know, that's a Southern thing. That's how they respect. They ain't really,
I don't remember ever
being called by name.
Hell,
I thought my name was boy.
Hey,
Barry,
where them boys at?
Mary them boys.
Barney,
what about them boys?
So,
that's just the way,
and I was like,
you know what?
That's my grandmother's
crowning achievement.
Was,
right,
right,
right,
right.
I mean,
you,
you,
you reflection,
you reflection,
you were reflecting
how you turn out, how you turn out and how you operate once you're going from under that umbrella in that
nest is reflection of course i am i'm a reflection of mary and barney porter i'm a reflection of i
grew up in glenville i'm a reflection of savannah state i'm proud because i'm there i'm one of their
brightest i understood no matter what transpired,
he went to Savannah State.
He's from Glenville, Georgia.
He was raised by his grandparents.
My mom, man, you look.
My mom, my mom, you know, called me.
Well, now she just, I was like, look,
whatever my mom need, you don't have to clear it.
It's a yes.
It's a yes.
Right, right, right.
And I know because my mom, mom mom it's not a problem it's
okay you know we mom it's taken care of don't worry about it why are you calling me why is
it's nobody well you know i hate no don't hate as long my purpose and i told my grandmother i got
y'all and when i say i got you i got you my brother my sister my mom i got y'all. And when I say I got you, I got you.
My brother, my sister, my mom, I got y'all.
Now, the kids, that's another story.
Y'all young.
But they know.
They know, hey, remember what I told you, Ocho.
Right.
I'm last option, not first choice.
Yeah.
So, you know, Christmas coming up, huh?
Did your kids give you their Christmas list? Yeah. So, you know, Christmas coming up, huh? Did your kids give you their Christmas list?
Yeah.
Yeah?
You getting everything on there?
Them kids, they ain't kids no more.
They my kids, but y'all grown now. Hey, the days of 10 and 15 things.
All mine grown too, man.
Ocho, the days of 10 and 15 things.
I want this, this, this, this, this, this, this.
Those over.
Ocho.
Oh, you don't do that no more?
Except my son who's married.
Hell, the girls, they get down to everything
they want anyway during the year.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
All right, I think, I mean, just saying for me,
obviously, you know, I have a tribe.
I have a tribe, you know, all of mine combined together.
But the fact that we're in that social media area, social media era of wanting to be flashy and portray this image of doing this.
You know what's funny?
You know what's funny?
Those I have kids
From when I've done
One hell of a job
Because my kids
Haven't got caught up
In that lifestyle
Of having to have
The latest of the latest
Or to look like
Oh well
I got to look a certain way
Because of who my daddy is
And oh
They never got caught up in that
So
They look the part
They look great
You know
They're really good at
At
At uh What's the word I'm looking for? It's not what
you wear, it's how you wear it.
So when times like this come around
and I look at the Christmas list
and it's like 13, 14
items, you know, on one,
I ain't got no problem.
I ain't got no problem getting everything
because we go the whole 11 months.
Y'all barely asked me for 11 months y'all barely asked me
for nothing
y'all barely asked me
for nothing
so come times like this
I'm
I'm excited
because this is one of the
few times of the year
where I actually
spend some damn money
you always said
don't be cheap with myself
right
but that's how I've always been
but Christmas time
yeah
I think the faith is, look,
I can't wait to see
new faces on Christmas day.
I can't wait till somebody else
take my role
like a husband.
That's what I'm looking for.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
But you know,
I think the thing is
for the kids,
like, look,
as long as you don't give your mom,
because I know you're not
going to give me no problem
because I know you're not going to give me no problem.
Because I stayed.
The one thing, I've always done a great job.
I told all my kids.
I say, our dynamic won't ever change.
I say, I'm always going to be your dad.
You're always going to be the child.
I say, even if I'm old and feeble and you got to take care of me, the dynamic will never change.
I said, I don't ask for it i demand your respect because i've done too much for you not to respect me i said look i'm gonna treat you like an
adult and we can agree i'm you ask me my opinion i'm gonna give you my honest opinion but at the
end of the day you're grown you make your own decisions but i demand that you respect me i
demand that you respect your mom that's all i ask ask for you. That's all I ask from you
is to respect me and your
mom. Right.
Now, your mom called and
said she got a problem, then you're going to have a problem
with me.
You're going to have a big-ass problem with me.
Right.
You ever had them issues, though?
Because they...
No, no, no. I was about to say that? Because they might, they might, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I was about to say that.
Because they might pick up the phone
and say,
well, I'm having a problem
with such and such.
Put them on the phone.
Okay,
now what's the problem?
Yeah.
What's the problem?
They bet you're right in the bud.
Don't make me get on the,
don't make me get on the flight
and come.
Right.
You know what's funny?
You know what's funny?
Is,
I'm the fun guy. I'm the fun guy.
I'm the fun father.
And I'm never the one that has to do the disciplining.
Because mamas, boy, they don't play that shit, right?
Those where I'm from, nah, they don't play that shit.
They don't play that. And I think I was lucky. I'm from? Nah, they don't play that shit. They don't play that.
And I think I was lucky.
I'm very fortunate.
You know, and I say it from time to time, all the time,
because I'm never in a space or on a platform to give them credit for the job that they have done with my kids.
Yeah.
But, man, man, shit.
Or then, you know, the thing was, you want me to call your dad?
No, don't call him.
Hell of a job.
Don't call me. Hell of a job. No, don't call me.
Don't day.
Right, right, right. There's nothing that you can.
I'm the last resort.
It got to be something real serious.
But if somebody pick up the phone and call me.
It got to be real serious.
You got everything that you wanted.
I mean, we rolling dice.
Man, we win the dice game and they get these little electric scooters.
Man, I think I spent like $3,000 on them electric scooters.
Got my girlfriend to send them to him.
The mama said, they can't have these.
Yeah.
Shannon, they ain't never driven anything in their life
these kids gonna end up hurting themselves
I said okay well sell it
sell it
just like that sell it
you say I give them something
and you say they can't have it
I'm not going back and forth with you
you say they not qualified to have it
sell it
what am I arguing about stuff like that for you know You say they not qualified to have it? Sell it.
What am I arguing about stuff like that for?
You know, you around them more than I am. Right, right, right.
So you know their capabilities more than I do.
I got no problem with that.
I'm not going to go back and forth with you about,
nah, I bought it.
I'm their dad.
It was never none of that.
It was never that type of disagreement.
Did we disagree? Absolutely.
Of course.
But as I started to get older
and the kids started to get older,
it wasn't that big of a deal.
Once you realize that, you know what?
We ain't doing nothing but hurting the kids.
I said, we arguing about petty stuff.
Is it really that serious?
Is it really that serious? Is it really that serious?
They're like, nah.
You know, it takes very mature woman
or it takes a mature woman
to actually get to that point
where they don't want to argue about nothing
because it's a waste of time.
Because sometimes you got to always ask,
you always ask in the chat,
if you're married,
if you have a boyfriend or you got a spouse, ask them.
You want to be happy or you want to be right?
Which one you want to be?
You want to be happy or you want to be right?
Because you can't get both.
Sometimes Ocho is better to be wrong and keep the peace than to be right and cause an argument.
wrong and keep the peace than to be right and cause
an argument.
And once I realized
that, it was okay.
I said, guys, it ain't that big of a deal.
Come on.
What are we arguing?
What are we actually arguing
about?
Because when we created this,
there was no argument.
There was no argument.
But now, what?
Come on now.
Because at the end of the day,
you know I'm going to always do.
Yeah, I'm disappointed that you put me through this,
but I'm always going to do right by the kids.
Always.
And so it wasn't always like this.
It took some growing on my part.
It said, you know what?
Because I had to be right
no you're nothing to get the upper hand on me f that i'll spend my life right right right i ain't
gonna let you get the upper hand yeah and i was like you know what it ain't worth it it ain't
worth it and so now we got we got great relationship you know hey that's growth happy father's day
happy mother's day um hey i always the kids, how your mom doing?
They doing good.
But it took a process to get to where we got, Ocho.
Because, you know, I'm playing football.
I'm trying to be the best I can.
And I'm feeling like, bro, y'all trying to attack me.
Y'all trying to take advantage of me.
And maybe that wasn't the case.
But I grew up
fighting so i ain't got no problem yeah fighting and not physically fighting but fighting for what
i believe is right in a different manner yeah yeah believe in right but uh

Faith donated
$100 and said,
Shannon, no joke, congrats.
Skip and Stephen A wasn't taking them hits off the field.
That was you and Jesus.
Your grandmother have been dancing in heaven right now.
God be the glory.
Keep moving forward.
Yeah, Faith, you're absolutely right.
But sometimes you need someone to give you an opportunity.
Skip was the first
that gave me the opportunity
because before anybody,
I was the first athlete
to do the debate format
every single day.
Now, a lot of people do it now, Ojo,
but I was the first
to sit across from a journalist
and do this every day.
But I knew I had to be exemplary
because people that know me
know how hard I work,
know how much I study.
And if he couldn't do it,
well, who's going to do it?
So it cost me relationships
because when I should have been
going home, Ojo,
to be with my partner,
I wanted to stay
because in the process of me flying, I was going to
miss a game.
Or I was going to miss something.
So no, I sacrificed that
to be good for others
because I wanted to show we weren't dumb jocks.
Be it football, be it baseball,
or basketball, we're more than that.
That's what you know us for, but that's
not who I am and so that
was my process and it cost me two relationships and i and and it was all while i was in
understanding but i wanted to be i wanted to be great at this i wanted to be better at this than
i was at football because football became football was natural yes Yes, I'm quick-witted.
Yes, I can ad-lib.
Yes, I'm personable.
Yes, I'm relatable.
But to be able to,
remember, Ocho,
you don't listen to always to respond.
You listen to understand.
So now,
not only was I having it
because now it's more conversational,
a little less debate.
In a debate format, I've got to, now, I got what I want to say,
but I got to punch holes in your argument also.
So I got to listen and tell you what you're saying, punch holes in that,
all while retaining the information and getting my point out also.
And so now I got to hold information.
I got to got all the knowledge
everything
to spit out LeBron
to spit out Bird
to spit out Magic
to spit out Jordan
to spit out Brady
and Manning
and this guy's stat
that guy's stat
and baseball
and basketball
and track and field
and social issues
and in 1968
and in 1948
and this and that
yeah
it's not as easy as you think
because everybody can't everybody when that red dot think. Right. Because everybody can't,
everybody,
when that red dot go on,
on that camera,
everybody can't talk on cue.
And I got a producer in my ear.
Oh yeah.
Turn it over to him.
Make sure you get that point in.
And it's also,
because I had great,
Steve Owens was my first producer
that produced my part of the show at Undisputed.
And then I got Ash, who's right now the CP right here.
Bro, she made sure, they made sure I was prepared.
Because I said, okay, this is what I want to say.
And he says, okay.
And I'm like, okay, what do you think he's going to say?
So now we got to formulate.
Ocho, we staying up two hours, three hours.
Now remember, I got to be to work at 4 a.m.
LeBron James comes to the Lakers.
The game's going off at 10, 30, 11 o'clock.
Now we're having conversation after the game.
And we're talking, okay, if I say this, what you thinking?
What's his retort?
We're talking, okay, if I say this, what you think?
What's his retort?
So,
now, I've got to hold all that information for
10 blocks.
What he's going to say,
what I think he's going to say,
also, so I can count it.
But I also got to get my A and B points
in also.
And so,
I've been very, very fortunate to have
been surrounded by great people
that
although I'm in front of the camera,
it's the people behind the camera.
CJ with Club Shay Shay does a
great job of
I think this person will be good.
I think this person will be good.
I think you should reach out to that person.
Coming up with questions like, let's go in this direction. I think you should reach out to that person. Coming up with questions, like, let's go in this direction.
I think we should start here and go there.
I think we should start there and go here.
Ash, coming up with topics on this, making sure of a first take.
She got a lot on the plate.
She got a lot on the plate.
But from the very first time, and I told her,
I told her the very first time i met her i said if
i get a show and if i ever leave undisputed you're coming with me and she looked at me like i was
crazy and even when i got when i went out on my own i said as she coming with me she went in and
said hey she put in a notice says i'm leaving i she called me she said said, Shannon, where are we going? I said, I don't know. She said, but wherever you go,
I'll be there.
She said, I...
I like that. She called me. I said, Ash, I don't know.
I like that.
It's July. Ash said, what are we doing? I don't know.
She said, okay.
She said, but I believe in you.
But I told her
the very first time...
The very first time I met her
she'll tell you I said if I ever go on my
own you gonna produce my show
oh yeah
so I'm
a low loyalty
guy
and
if you down with me
I got you forever
forever and ever so and I told her when I went to the volume And if you down with me, I got you forever. Yeah.
Forever and ever.
So, and I told her when I went to the volume, I said, look, y'all can do whoever have the background.
I say, but whatever I do, she's in charge.
She speaks for me.
Don't call me.
Now, she knows me better than you do.
I said, now, when she says something, it's coming from me.
If I ever have to call, you're not going to like the call.
I promise you.
So just let her handle it.
Same thing with CJ.
Y'all let him handle it.
Y'all talk to my sister, Shelly.
She's the executive assistant.
Don't call me.
When you see my number pop up on your phone, she's the executive assistant she don't call me when you
when you see my number pop up
on your phone
it's a problem
it's hell to pay
so Ash Handel, Nightcap
and ESPN, CJ Handel's
club Shea Shea, Jordan Handel
created the sign and Shelly oversees
everything but when you have to talk
to me
I don't want to do no talking. I talk
enough during the course of the week. Don't call me
with no bull jive. And if they say, well, Shannon,
we can't get this done because
now
I got to pick up the phone. But Ash does
a great job letting me handle it.
I think, you know, they didn't listen
today, but I think tomorrow they'll get
the idea.
Nikki Grant, Shannon, you know, they didn't listen today, but I think tomorrow they'll get the idea. They'll get the idea.
Nikki Grant, Shannon, you better celebrate your accomplishment with your fine ass.
And I see you just fine.
Chadford, good night, Shannon, and only Shannon.
Damn, won't you want to keep doing you like that?
Nikki, Nikki, what?
That's the same one.
Give me your people. That's the same one. I see you drinking.
Nah, they ain't my people.
Only people I got is Real.
Real think I'm fine.
That's all that matter.
Real say I'm a 12 on a scale of 10.
One to 10.
You friends.
Ocho, you 185.
Not right now.
See, I like to see, you know, the thing.
I like that 180.
180.
If you ain't 180, you ain't no lady coming to me.
I'm saying, Ocho, I like about two and a quarter.
Two and a quarter.
Two and a quarter?
I'm talking about Ocho.
You know, when you got the one leg up and they tell you to pick the other one up,
I say, I'm about to sit this one up and they tell you to pick the other one up.
I said, I'm about to sit this one down.
That's what I like.
You like what you like.
I like what I like.
See, Ojo, it's a blessing and a curse.
You can't hold your legs up at the same time?
Girl, I'm about to put this one down.
The worst thing about having muscles is that everybody thinks you can pick them up.
But everybody ain't fun size, Ocho.
You know what I'm saying, Ocho?
Hold on, wait a minute now.
You live all the way. I now you live all the way I saw you living
all the way
but you have to understand
I'm living those weights
in a certain manner
Ocho you know
only 200 pounds
like this
here
ain't easy
yeah
yeah
that's different now
that's different
that's a lot on your back
both of us are out of here
cause I'm gonna drop you
and I'm gonna throw my back out
so That's a lot on your back, man. The whole both of us are out of here because I'm going to drop you and I'm going to throw my back out.
So.
Hey, Jadon,
Young Smokey VP 17 donated $200
and he asked,
Uncle Ocho,
what specific team
did you enjoy balling
on most of your career?
Steelers, Ocho,
Chiefs,
did you circle those guys,
them on the schedule?
Yeah, I wouldn't circle none of them boys
but that defense
that defense
was one and two
every year
especially that Steelers defense
but I wouldn't shit
the circle on that
motherfucker there
at all
god damn
Ike Taylor
Deshae Townsend
Troy Palomaro
Joy Porter
James Harrison
circle who I ain't circling shit I leave that bitch with a circle around my eye Ike Taylor, Deshae Townsend, Troy Palamalu, Joy Porter, James Harrison.
Circle who?
I ain't circling shit.
I leave that bitch with a circle around my eye.
That's about it.
We had a week.
We had a week.
We had a week.
It was dedicated.
Because when Mike came back, this is what happened.
Mike got the job at the Raiders.
He got fired 20 games into his first head coaching career.
Al Davis owed Mike the money, but he wouldn't pay
it. And he told him,
you'll spend more money trying to
recoup the money than you do
what I owe you. So when Mike
told us, we took that personal.
So
Mike wanted to kick that.
We want to beat him too so we gonna beat you enough
we gonna make you get the money up
Kansas City
it was a
it was a dog fight
Kansas City and the Raiders
now Seattle was also in our division
Seattle used to be in the AFC West
it was us, the Chargers, the Raiders
and the Chiefs
the Raiders and the Chiefs the Chargers, the Raiders, and the Chiefs. The Raiders and the Chiefs.
Now, the Chargers, you know, they were tough.
They had some good teams.
We liked going to San Diego because the weather was normally nice.
The Kingdome, I don't know if you remember the Kingdome,
but playing in the Kingdome, it was loud.
So just imagine the 12th man indoors.
Yes, the 12th man indoors.
It was loud
indoors
and there were
defensive base football teams
man
it was hell
it was hell
they had
uh uh uh
Tez
they had uh uh
uh
Boogie Bryant
they had
they had some
they had some
they had some good football players
not
only Tez is the one
that you know about
but they had some
I mean Kenny Easy
was before
he was gone before I got there but they had some good teams but the Raiders is the one that you know about but they had some I mean Kenny easy was before he was gone before I got
there but they had some good teams but the Raiders
and the Chiefs
we'll fight we'll
fight them before the game we'll fight them
during the game and we'll fight them after the game we
like them we like them
you know
who started this with the
Steelers and the Ravens you know who started
it right
who who started this with the Steelers and the Ravens. You know who started it, right?
Who?
I call Plexiglas.
Call it Plexiglas.
I ain't care. Look,
I got the $2,000 Ravens.
What I care about what y'all gonna do do, what y'all going to say?
And you know, they had Joy.
They had, I'm trying to think, who else they had?
They had Earl Holmes.
One year they had Kendrell Bell.
Oh, Earl.
Hey, boy, Earl was a thumper.
Kendrell Bell was a thumper, boy.
Boy, them boys coming down here.
We talking cash.
They didn't like us.
We didn't like them. And the thing was, Coach Cowan and Coach Belich here. We talking cash. They didn't like us. We didn't like them.
And the thing was, Coach Cowan and Coach Belichick,
they talking too.
The Tennessee Titans with Coach Fisher and Brian Billy,
they didn't like each other.
We didn't like them.
Yeah.
So you know me.
And when I got to the Ravens, Brian said,
I don't care what y'all say.
Just know we got to back it up on Sunday.
For real?
Hold on. Yeah. Let me take my glasses off like you. I said, I don't care what y'all say. Just know we got to back it up on Sunday. For real? Hold on.
Yeah. Let me take my glasses off like you.
I said, for real? I can say whatever I want? Because Mike didn't like you really
talking like that. Now, once I got on the field,
he ain't like you saying, boy, it's the boys' story during
the course of the week. He said, once you get to the game,
I don't care what you say. Right.
But Brian said, you can say whatever
you want to. Just know you got to back it up.
Oh, that right up my alley.
Man, look here.
You tell Plexiglas
just to catch the ball
and not worry about
what we got going on over here.
Right.
Man.
The Beatles,
me and Tekeo,
now me and Tekeo used to work out.
Yeah, me and Tekeo.
Hey.
So they was talking about, they said Tekeo used to work out. Yeah, me and Tekeo. Hey. So they was talking about, they said, Tekeo Spikes is a poor man's Ray Lewis.
Man.
I said, you know what?
Let me get this thing a little spied.
Because right now, this thing is going to.
I said, man, comparing Tekeo to Ray Lewis is like comparing, dude, where's my car to Titanic?
All that said it all not to kill
not to kill got to go off in the face
not to kill got to say something to match
what I said we get to
the middle of the field we dab each other
good job Sharp I figured
you like that I figured you like that
cause now he
dude he balled his ass
off against us I probably should have kept my
mind shut
but it's too late now you know what's inside there's out there Ocho dude, he balled his ass off against us. I probably should have kept my mind shut.
But it's too late now. You know, Wes is out there. He's out there, Ocho.
Oh, yeah.
Once you say it,
you can't take it back.
And if you talk it, you better walk it.
If you talk it, you better walk it.
Me and Tequila, like I said,
we worked out before. We worked out
after that. Every time I see it,
bro, how you doing, man?
As a matter of fact, I just did this podcast
last year in Arizona. Great dude,
man. Georgia boys. You know, we get,
we ride hard
for one another. But we're on
another team. We ride hard against each other, too.
But then we're going to come back together in the offseason.
Check this out.
JR says, Hey, Uncle Ocho, I was DJ at Channing Crowder's V-Day party.
Asked Ocho for a photo, and he gladly took one with me.
Ocho, a real one.
Great job, guys.
You did that, Ocho?
Man, you know, I take pictures with anybody, boy.
You know?
But listen, my hair wasn't done.
I ain't had no lashes on.
But you want a picture? Don't worry about it. I'll show them that hair wasn't done. I ain't had no lashes on. But you want a picture?
Don't worry about it.
I'll show them that thing in color
because they ain't going to see you.
Did you let me out?
Nah.
I think...
That's why they got
a bunch of filters.
Even if you can't see me
in your picture,
you can lighten it up.
I don't know if they got
a filter for that.
Even if you can't see me,
you can lighten it up.
They got to put that ring light on you.
You know, technology.
That's what I need to carry with me.
When people want to take a picture, I need to put the ring light on my face.
That's a good idea.
My kids be using that.
I like that.
Aaron Owens asks, why is LT considered the defensive goal and not Reggie White?
It's close for me, but I can make the case that LT is the greatest defensive player,
the greatest player in NFL history.
I mean, with that.
You know what's funny?
I done sat with LT twice already.
You seen the picture I posted on Twitter?
Yeah.
When I go watch my soccer games at Twin Peaks
and Pumperwood Pines.
Lawrence Taylor come up there
every time
in a goddamn golf cart
with his three buddies.
I just sat with Lawrence
two days in a row
before I flew back to fly here.
I remember what,
I'm trying to remember
what year that was.
But Ricky Jackson played with the Saints and LT. I remember what, I'm trying to remember what year that was, but Ricky Jack,
Ricky Jackson played with the science and the saints and LT,
man.
I joined LT and Ricky Jack so hard.
Oh,
Joe,
man,
they came out there,
you know,
LT liked to wear flip flops.
He had on shorts and flip flops.
Right,
right.
Ashy as a mofo,
man.
I told LT,
he needs some,
his feet was so ashy
and ankles so ashy,
I said, you need some
just for men for them.
Not lotion,
that joke needs some just for men.
But that'll ash up off him.
Man, they feel like laughing.
You know, that's what I,
I used to go, I mean,
I mean, now it's kind of hard
for me to get back,
but I used to just go Jones
just the whole time.
Right.
Me, me, Mike Irvin.
Because we were, you know, we were young guns.
Mike was funny too?
Dude, with me and Mike getting together,
because we might start off on somebody.
Yeah.
But inevitably, it's coming back to me and him going at each other.
And it's always been like that.
Right, right, right. It's always going to be like that.
And you know time be hanging it on.
You know, when time used to go back, time hanging it on.
See, a lot of them guys didn't know I was there.
Time always knew.
Time knew I always had this.
But a lot of people didn't know.
So that's the first time they seeing me.
Jonan, oh, that's what I do.
Oh, yes.
Oh, I've got a PhD in Jonan.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
But I miss going back and seeing the guys
because I don't really see the guys.
And even when I go back to alumni function,
when we go back for the only time that I really get back
is for the Super Bowl,
for the Broncos,
when we, you know, the anniversary.
Right.
I light them up.
I light them up, Ocho.
I had to get them.
Alec Hurst said one game to win.
Everyone in their prime.
Unk with LeBron,
Ocho with Jordan.
But,
really?
We're going to beat the dog.
Wait, a basketball?
I don't care what it is.
Basketball, shooting pool, table tennis,
what's that called?
Cornhole.
I don't care.
Listen, whatever it is we play,
whatever it is, if me and Jordan are teaming up against you and LeBron or anything, whatever it is we play, whatever it is,
if me and Jordan are teaming up against you and LeBron or anything,
whatever it is we play, you are the liability and the reason y'all going to lose.
You can't dribble.
You can't shoot.
You can't play table tennis.
You can't shoot no pool.
You can't bowl.
But, man, we would wipe you out and everything.
Ocho, did you know I have my own Q?
I got my own Q, too.
You heard the Minnesota fans?
They call your boy Georgia Slim.
I beat him.
I beat Fats.
I beat Miss Coney.
Willie Miss Coney.
I beat Steve Miserac.
Boy, you better stop playing with me.
Gertrude Hostetter.
Vivian Vivera. Go ahead with that, man. The Black Widow. Ojo, stop playing with me. Gertrude Hall, Vivian Vivero,
the Black Widow.
Stop playing with me.
Go ahead, man.
Come on, man.
Who you be again?
Minnesota Fats,
Willie Moscone,
Steve Miserac.
What they,
what they,
what's your name,
what they call you?
Hey,
George Sleel.
Hey, guys,
man,
you better stop playing.
But, hey, Ojo, you better stop just live. They got you. Man, you better stop playing. But hey, Ojo,
you better stop with me.
Ojo, we beat the brakes up, y'all.
Hey.
Man, trust me.
They had nothing.
Nothing with me and Jordan Tebow.
And Taylor Tennis.
I'm telling you who the liability is.
Oh, I'm the fan of Taylor Tennis.
Oh, I'm the fan.
Don't do that.
I'm Roger Federer on Taylor Tennis.
Now, right there,
I'm going to stop you right there. I'm going to stop you right there. One thing you're not going to do is you ain't going to sit here and put no lads do that. I'm Roger Federer on table tennis. Now, right there, I'm going to stop you right there.
I'm going to stop you right there.
One thing you're not going to do is you ain't going to sit here and put no lads like that.
He on God's green earth about beat me in no table tennis, boy.

The Chinese wanted me
to come play for them.
Yeah.

to come play for them?
They didn't want me to play.
I told them no,
I couldn't betray my country.
You better stop playing with me.
Man, don't do that, man.
No, table tennis, don't do that, man.
Don't do that.
Shooting pool, don't do it to yourself.
Cornhole, don't do it to yourself.
First of all, I know you can't play no pool
because you don't even know how many balls are on the table.
That's first of all.
You ain't know nothing about no eight ball.
You ain't know nothing about no nine ball. You ain't know nothing about no eight ball. You ain't know nothing about no nine ball.
You ain't know nothing about no six ball.
You ain't know nothing.
So stop.
You not beating me in any of these games you talking about.

Or go get something to eat.
Back then,
I could go to the movies.
I could go get something to eat
and go to the movies.
I can't do that now.
I'd be asleep.
I'd be asleep.
You know what I'm saying, Ocho?
You know, A hotel back then

Yeah.
I kept
Lee Jeans. I kept
Calvin Klein. I kept
Darksiders. You better stop it.
You better ask them.
Huh?
I was simple, man.
I had a white A-Rab from 8-Rab.
I had an all-white A-Rab T-shirt, man, from the gas station.
That's all I had, man.
Sharp A plate.
Sterling Sharp A.

My brother could wear sweats to class, but he going to make show, baby, bro.

I'm the only one that got the striped eyes out.
Come on, bro.
Yeah. Come on, bro Yeah Come on, baby
Okay
Ish
Before y'all make me act a fool up in here
Patrick Woolery asks
Uncle Ocho, not trying to be too deep
But in one word or a few sentences
How would you summarize your 2023?
And what's the most important lesson
That you guys have learned?
Go ahead, Ocho
As you summarize my 2023 Man, it's been a blessing It's been a blessing for me that you guys have learned. Go ahead, Ocho.
As you summarized my 2023, man,
it's been a blessing.
It's been a blessing for me.
Obviously, I've come a long way.
I've come a long way, man.
I would have never envisioned life for me to be where it is now.
It's been good.
I'm thankful.
Obviously, the kids are doing well. Those are in college.
The missus is doing well. I mean, just everything is going really well. It's going really well.
And I just obviously thankful for you as well for allowing me to have this opportunity to
be on here on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. I enjoy it. Gives me an opportunity to be to be on here on Sundays Mondays and Thursdays you know I enjoy it gives me an
opportunity to talk and and show another side of me at times and then also my authentic and organic
side as well so my 2023 has been amazing and I'm hoping and hoping that it carries right on over
into 2024 my 2023 has been more than amazing um even in my wildest dreams, I didn't envision all of this.
Well, first of all, I didn't envision the situation that happened at Undisputed.
But, you know, my sister used to always tell me, boy, sometime God closes doors.
He already has one already open.
And he said, sometime God will open a door
can't no man close.
And sometimes he'll close a door can't no man open.
She said, just be ready.
My 2023 has been great
because I'm in a position now
that I can help other people.
And that's what I'm trying to do is to build up
while giving people opportunities. Just like someone helped me, my job is to help someone
else. 2023 has been amazing. And it's only going to get better. Like you said, we're going to,
2023 is ending with a bang, but we're going to roll this thing
right over to 2024.
And we got a late start
because Ocho, people don't realize this.
We threw this thing together
in a matter of days.
Hey, Ocho, man, Ocho,
hey, I called Doug.
I've been knowing Doug since Doug.
Doug fresh out of college.
That's how long I've known Doug.
Doug was fresh out of college.
Dad said, bro,
he's supposed to be watching me. I'm looking
for him. He on the dance floor.
I called Doug. I said, hey,
I want to run something about Ocho. He's like, funny
man, Ocho in Cali right now.
Hey, you think we can do lunch?
He's like, yeah, I'll heat him up
next day. Hey, bro, I got
this idea. I'm thinking about doing X, Y, and Z.
He's like, let's do it.
That's it.
That's how it happened.
I would love to tell you
we had some elaborate
that we were sitting down
and we've been talking about this
for months and months.
In two days,
we put this together.
And that's what happened.
It was rocking.
So now,
and not,
no sponsors, not a whole lot of ads,
but now after people seeing what we do,
they're like, okay, we want to be a part of that.
And we welcome the opportunity for someone
to be a part of what we have growing.
And so 2023 has been great.
2024 is going to be even better.
All glory be to God because without him, none of this is possible.
And without you guys, because you make it possible and you make it worthwhile.
So thank you, because a lot of you guys remember me from first take.
And you follow me to ESPN.
You follow me to Club Shea Shea.
You follow me to Okinocho.
And so we really, really appreciate what you guys have done for us.
Eduardo Tapia asks, who wins a mile race between you two?
Eduardo, I ain't gonna lie to you, bro.
If I'm doing anything besides walking, somebody chasing me.
And I promise you, if they chasing me,
I'm doing like this here. Pow, pow.
Pow, pow.
Yeah, yeah. My running
day is over. Ain't no
more running for me, Ocho.
I'm still
running. I'm still running. I'm still running.
That's all I got.
Would it be too bad
if we need to repair him? The doctors say these hips will last you a long time
mr sharp if you don't run i say i ain't ran before i got him i damn sure ain't gonna run after i got
him so it's a brisk walk for your boy thank you for the podcast football laughs uh it's been
helping me during these times of my mom going through cancer treatment well Alicia keep your head up
stay prayed up
hopefully it turns out well for your mom
mom
get well soon
Unc and Ocho we're praying for you
and everybody out there send a prayer
out to Alicia for what her
and her mom is going through right now
Mark Booth says Unc I gotta tell you last year was one of the toughest years for me I'm only out to Alicia for what her and her mom is going through right now. Mark Boo says,
Unc, I got to tell you, last year was one of the toughest years for me. I'm only 27 years old.
Being able to watch you on Undisputed every day helped me like no other. Shannon, you brought me
to the light. Bro, I really appreciate that. Mark, I appreciate your support. You guys have
supported me from the jump. I really didn't know what to expect. I really didn't know how TV worked.
I didn't understand, you know, ratings,
and I didn't know if I was going to be received
because I was going with somebody that's the godfather of that format.
Skip kind of started that.
So give him his credit.
So I knew what I was up against, but
people are like, well,
can he do it? They remember
sports reporters, and they remember
Ron the Horn, and they remember all that.
All those guys are journalists.
Man, how's a former
NFL player going to talk about basketball?
How's he going to talk about baseball?
How's he going to talk about track and field?
How's he going to talk about basketball? How's he going to talk about baseball? How's he going to talk about track and field? How's he going to talk about social issues?
I'll show you.
I'll show you.
And yeah, with the work, Ocho, if you put the work in,
you can get incrementally better.
And that was what I wanted to do.
I didn't want to be-
Anything is possible.
I didn't want to be a football guy that was what I wanted to do. I didn't want to be. Anything is possible. I didn't want to be a football guy.
That was talking basketball.
I want to be a guy talking basketball.
I want to be a guy that was talking sports.
And you didn't know.
You would have never known.
I didn't play that sport.
You put the work in.
You put the time in.
You become a student of the game.
You don't know what you don't know.
Pay attention.
Listen.
You see, okay.
See that?
Okay, that's what that's called.
That's called a pin down.
Okay.
That's called a flare.
Oh, okay.
Let's call it one.
Oh, that's one.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Boom. Next thing you know, it's one eye. Oh, okay. Okay. Boom.
Next thing you know, it's second nature to you.
Football was second nature.
Hey, look, I know cover one.
I know lurk, robber.
I know everything.
Cover five, cover four, cover six, kick.
You know, hey, cover eight quarters.
I get all that.
I know it.
I know fronts.
Over, under, shade, tilt, cock.
Nine wide, nine, seven, five, shade, tilt, cop 9 wide, 9-7
5 shade, 3
get all that Ocho
get it
but how do you get better
at what you don't know
because it's easy to talk
about what you do know
guys
Ocho, that was the guy that said
who
how much
oh yeah

How many people we had?
We had 17,000.
I think we got up to a high of 20 tonight.
We got up to a high of 20.
Ocho, did you know that?
Yeah, yes, sir.
Look, today, what I'm doing, right, what I did today is I got the chat going, right?
I got my phone open, and I put it on top of my computer.
So I'm reading the chat at the same time.
And I've seen that's a whole lot of people, man.
17,000, you know, reaching 20 at its peak.
Man, that's good, man.
Like that's really good.
That's really good.
I ain't really never been on no platform like this before.
Ocho, we got four more minutes.
We're going to make it to two hours a night,
and then I got to go to bed, man.
I mean, Ocho, I got to get up in the morning.
You got to work.
In the morning for what?
Okay.
I got to work, too.
Oh, okay.
Check this out, Ocho.
Uncle Ocho, need your advice, please.
I recently graduated
from Florida State.
Go Seminoles.
My daughter graduated
from Florida State also,
my youngest.
And I got a good paying job,
but decided to move back
with my parents
in order to save money.
How do I date a woman?
How do I date women
living at home?
I don't know.
Wait. Wait, hold on, hold on, hold on't know wait wait hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on your priorities all messed up you you think about what you just said
you went back home with your parents to save money but you want to spend money to date women
now i can see that When you say women,
I thought he had a woman.
That, that, that...
Well, first of all,
they ain't going to be letting you,
first of all,
because you're going to have to spend money.
You can't bring no woman
into your parents' home.
That's not,
that you not married to.
Man.
Focus on,
focus on that money, man.
The women going to be there.
Focus on your money.
Get your money right. Get your money right. Get your situation right. Worry about the women later, man. The women going to be there. Focus on your money. Get your money right.
Get your money right.
Get your situation right.
Worry about the women later, man.
Don't do that.
You'll lose money chasing women.
You'll never lose a woman chasing money.
Now, the thing is now,
if I'm reading this correctly,
I don't know how you bring a woman.
So now you're going to have to get a hotel.
Every time that you want to be intimate with this woman,
you're going to need to get a hotel.
Now I understand the frigging stuff.
You know,
you get the car.
We all do look here and there,
you know,
I parked in the driveway and do it.
You know,
they can stay looking at hydraulic,
you know,
it's dropping up and down.
You don't say,
you don't know.
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
This is my yard.
Y'all ain't got no business
worrying about what's going on in my yard.
It's private property.
But, but I don't
know how you're going to pull that off.
You living at
home. I get
it. I get it. But like you said,
Ocho, man, if you're trying
to save money, the last thing on your mind should
be women. Think about, think about, think about how save money, the last thing on your mind should be women. Think about
how the first
thing he asked,
I move back home
so I can save money.
So save money
and date women doesn't even
go hand in hand. It makes no
sense. It makes no sense at all.
Let's focus on what's important.
The saving money part. And the only
way you're going to do it is locking in and having
a little structure and a little discipline and
understanding the women are going to
always be there, man.
They ain't going to always be there.
They be calling you. They be calling you talking about coming back to these streets.
Nah.
Nah. Nah, nah.
Ain't nothing in them streets. No more.
Ain't nothing in them streets. But more. Ain't nothing in them streets.
But Ocho, man, you remember when you was 22, 23?
I, man, I was locked in, man.
You know what I'm saying, Ocho?
Man.
But, baby, I just, I'm not going to, let me knock on the door.
I'm not going to... Let me knock on the door.
Man, Ocho.
I'm not going to.
That I wasn't in my 20s
or my 30s
with social media
or I wasn't a teenager.
Right.
It wasn't for me, Ocho.
It ain't for me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah, Yeah. Yeah,
man, that's what you mean, man.
It's
different. It's a different world.
It's a
different world. And I'm
glad I have the discipline.
I do not. Yeah.
Real been a lifesaver for you.
Man,
you know,
we had another podcast Real been a lifesaver for you. Man, you know Ocho.
Uncle Ocho would have been in your street.
Uncle Ocho, we had another podcast in the streets called In the Streets.
Man, listen.
Yeah.
That's exactly where we would have been at.
In the streets.
But I needed, listen,
we all need it, man.
We all need a little structure and discipline.
And ain't nobody, ain't nobody better for you in your life
that can give you a little structure and discipline
and a little guidance than a woman.
Right one.
The right one.
The right one.
Yeah, man.
That shit does wonders.
It's funny, it's funny how life turned around.
She came into life for some reason.
I don't think it was a coincidence.
She came into my life, man.
Shit.
I'm all over the place now.
You know, I'm here.
I'm there.
I look up.
There go a billboard there.
Well, goddamn.
I'm watching TV with her.
Oh, shit.
There go a commercial there.
I mean, shit.
It's not.
It ain't accident.
It ain't no accident.
That ain't number favor.
He working.
God working.
He working on me, too.
He working.
See, I know you looking for me to save
something smart with your, I ain't like that no more.
I'm changed.
I'm saved.
Yeah.
Me and you both. Well, listen, I got
baptized. It's wearing off, so I need,
I'm ready for another one.
Yeah, it's wearing off
though.
But I think I was a different type of. Yeah, it's playing off though.
But I think I was in a different type of water than what you was in.
Her name was Niagara.
Niagara Falls that is.
Yeah.
Yeah, I need to stop getting baptized.
But I'm happy for you Ocho, I'm happy for you Ocho.
Yeah, I appreciate you, Ocho. I'm happy for you, Ocho. You don't want that kind of...
Yeah, I appreciate it.
Appreciate it.
It's been a long journey.
It's been a long climb.
Back up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's only with the number for us.
23.
23 has been great.
God has been good.
24?
Your boy,
your boy, Shayshaw, about to be out the door? Your boy, your boy,
Shayshaw,
about to be out the door.
Your boy gonna be out
like a scout on a new route.
I'm gone.
24 gonna be beautiful, man.
It's gonna be beautiful.
Yeah.
It's gonna be beautiful.
You know,
it's right by the corner.
Yeah, yeah. About four weeks. What, three's going to be beautiful. You know, it's right by the corner. Yeah,
yeah.
About four weeks.
What?
Three weeks?
Yeah,
yeah.
So it's the 10th and the 12th,
right?
Yeah.

The Junkanoo parade. I don't know. I probably, man, man. You know, where you going to be at? And, you know, I'm always in the Bahamas for New Year's, for Junkanoo. The Junkanoo parade.

Where you going to be at when the ball drops?
You know, you know.
I've been trying to shake the cover full dark.
No, I normally sleep, man.
Man, you ain't going to watch the ball drop?
I said, I'm going to watch my eyelids drop on my eyeballs. That's the
only balls I'm gonna watch drop. The eyelids
on them. Man, I be going to bed,
