Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of Date Yourself Instead. Today I'm going
to be covering a lot of different things. This episode might be a little bit scattered
but it's for good reason because there's a lot of juicy life updates and things that
I've been wanting to share on the podcast since I arrived in Bali. As you know, this
trip to Bali was very unplanned. I've been going through a really difficult relationship situation that I was in on and
off for a while that I kind of kept private because I just preferred to really keep that
part of my life under the radar until I knew the end result.
Because sometimes when we're in
relationships and we repeat past patterns
it's kind of hard to come to terms with the fact that you might be making a huge mistake and I
Went through something recently that propelled me to come to Bali if you haven't already I highly suggest you go watch the previous episode from last week
where I cover a lot about
what I've learned, why I ended up in Bali, and the meaning behind true love to me and
what true love is actually all about.
I think it's definitely worth a listen.
And if you've already caught up and you're up to date with that episode, this is a follow
up episode. And we we're gonna be covering a
lot more dating advice. I'm gonna be asking, sorry answering, I'm gonna be
answering a lot of your questions around dating and relationships and I have a
lot of DMs and I've had a lot of requests on what to talk about. So I'm
gonna be answering your questions. I'm gonna be covering an insane
dating story time
That is very wildly entertaining from my opinion
And I've told a couple people this story already and they were like you have to share this on the podcast
So I'm gonna share that as well
I'm also going to share
Why it's never too late to live your dream life. I've been getting a lot of messages around, you know, I feel like it's too late.
I feel like I'm stuck.
I don't know what to do.
Um, I'm not sure what my purpose is in life and I really want to create a new
life for myself, but I'm feeling kind of stagnant and I don't know how to start.
So I'm going to be covering, um, a lot of techniques and tips that I use, and I'm
going to give you my best life advice on how to change your reality and
manifest your dream life and you know create the life that you've always wanted because you deserve it life is so short and
you deserve to be as happy as fucking possible while you're navigating this journey and I I am all for
manifestation and living out your wildest dreams and people will think you're delusional.
People will think you're crazy. People will judge you.
But I have a lot of opinions on that and I have a different perspective on that and I'm going to share it with you and also give you my best advice. So I'm going to start off this episode by
diving into the dating story time. I went on one of the most crazy, erratic dates of my life
while I was in Bali and I haven't really been dating that much in general. As I
just mentioned, I went through a situation that kind of has made me center the focus back onto
myself. I'm in healing mode. I'm trying to focus really all of my energy on getting back to a place
where I feel really at peace and Bali has definitely helped with that.
However, I was sitting at my hotel the other night and this guy comes over to me and I'm
pretty sure he was just like really drunk.
And he asked me for my information, you know, he asked me to, you know, he exchanged, we
exchanged contact info because he said he wanted to go to dinner
with him and his friends.
So I thought we were going out to dinner as a group because I was like, yeah, that sounds
fun.
He invited me out with a group of people.
He's like, come with us tomorrow night and it'll be really fun.
I was like, great, sure.
That sounds amazing.
And you know, as a solo traveler, it's nice when people
have the confidence to approach and make a plan with you
or ask for your information because you feel like
that human connection when you're traveling
and also it's just nice because it makes it easy
to meet people because if you meet one person,
they'll introduce you to other people
and that's kind of like the domino effect
of being a solo traveler. If you meet one person, that'll introduce you to other people. And that's kind of like the domino effect of being a solo traveler.
If you meet one person that could open up a door to meet another, and then you
build a group of friends. So I was like, great, this sounds awesome.
So we exchanged information and the next day he follows up on the plans and I'm
going into the plans thinking we're meeting him and his friends for dinner.
Like I thought it was going to be a group type of situation because that's what he
had told me.
And then once I arrived at the restaurant, it was just him.
And I was telling this story to someone and they were like, oh my God, you got group fished.
And I was like, what is group fish?
And then I'm thinking like catfish is when you, you know,
you go on a date and the person doesn't look like their
photos and they're showing up as someone else basically.
But group fish is when someone,
which I've never heard of before until now,
will ask you to hang out in a group setting.
And then it's just them that shows up.
I don't think people usually do this,
but I felt very ambushed.
I was like, or not, I don't know if the word's ambush, but I felt very ambushed. I was like, or not,
I don't know if the word's ambushed, but I felt like shocked because I was just like,
okay, you're by yourself. Like where are your friends? And he's like, oh, like they're not
coming. They were tired. So I'm just alone with this guy now that I just was not very
interested in. I had no romantic, you know, intentions with him at all. So it suddenly felt like we were under a lot of pressure. I felt like suddenly I was
on a date and I didn't go into it thinking it was a date. So I was like
kind of panicking internally and I'm like I don't know what to do. Like should
I just stay for dinner? Obviously like it's kind of awkward if I just bail now.
I'll eat and then I'll leave. We sit down and he's like, oh, what are we having to drink?
And I was explaining to him, you know, I'm here on a healing journey.
I'm really not up for drinking that much.
I've been really trying to be sober, trying to, you know, detox, trying to take care of
my body and my mental health.
So I politely said, you know, I'm not really drinking.
I also had just done a very healing, um,
like massage type of thing that day. And I was pretty tired.
And the woman specifically advised, she's like,
do not drink alcohol for the next 24 hours. So I told him, I was like, listen,
I'm not up for drinking.
And he kept pressuring me and making me feel really uncomfortable. He was like,
no, we have to drink. It's my last night here. And I'm like,
I don't want to drink.
Like I'm kindly telling you that I'm really not up for it. Take a hint.
Um, and I just felt like he was like crossing my boundaries to begin with
between group fishing me and making it like we were going out in a group.
And then it just being him that showed up and then kind of being weird about the
drinking, I was wildly
uncomfortable um and then he eventually orders sake for the table and you know the table just
being the two of us um and he ends up well so the waiter puts down the bottle of sake, so it's like, hold on let me put
my cup down. It's like a bottle that's this big, okay? It's like a big bottle of sake
and then he puts down two small cups. So obviously the normal thing, like it's quite obvious,
is to pour the sake into the cups to drink it.
But he takes the full big bottle and starts like chugging it.
And he didn't pour it into the cups and the waiter like runs over and he's
like, what are you doing?
Like you're not supposed to be drinking out of the bottle.
So he's like, Oh, whoops.
I'm so embarrassed.
And I'm like sitting there awkwardly, like quiet, like I'm just like, Oh
my God, like what is happening right now?
So that was like the start of the dinner.
Um, and the other thing was as I was speaking, he would cut me off and talk over me,
which I didn't like, cause that's like, obviously it's just like common human
decency to let someone finish their sentence, but he kept cutting me off.
And then he would like pause and be like, Oh, sorry, like, I don't mean to interrupt you, but,
and then he would proceed to talk.
And I'm just sitting there like kind of in silence because at this point I'm already
checked out.
I'm like, this is not off to a good start and I just really don't want to be here, but
I'm already here.
I'm just going to eat.
I was hungry.
It was dinner time.
Um, so I was like, why not?
Also I try to be more open minded when I am traveling.
So when I'm in new places and you know, there's amazing restaurants and there's so many things
to do, I want to do as much as possible.
So that is also part of the reason why I stayed because I really just wanted to try the restaurant. So he looks at me and I'm in the middle of saying something to him and he just suddenly
like stops and like looks at me and he's like, there's something on your face.
And I'm like, what?
And I go and I open my phone to look in the camera to see what he's talking about because
I was like, I don't think there's anything on my face. And he tries to lean over and wipe it off my face.
Like he leaned forward to touch my face and I like backed up a little bit.
I was like, what are you doing?
And then he fell off his chair.
So he like went to touch my face and then he like toppled over and fell off his chair
onto the floor basically.
I'm pretty sure at this point I'm like is this guy coming down from drugs? Like is he on something? Like he was literally just being erratic and he fell onto the floor and then like pushed his hands,
he pushed his body up with his hands because he had like toppled over and his chair like fell
backwards and I'm like
what is happening right now? He was like making a scene for sure and we were sitting at a community
table so there were other couples sitting around us that were definitely observing it and I was
just like this is so weird like I feel so uncomfortable and it just increasingly got worse.
Then I end up ordering food for myself
and he starts eating off my plate and eating all my food. So I was like, I'm just so lost.
Like I don't know like what his intentions were. I don't know if it almost seemed like
he was trying to create a really bad date on purpose to end up on the podcast. So congratulations,
you got what you wanted.
If that was your intention,
because he was aware that I had a dating podcast
with dating stories.
So a part of me was wondering
if he was doing all these weird things on purpose,
but then another part of me was like,
or maybe he's just not socially aware
that he's making me uncomfortable,
which is a huge red flag.
So then after that,
he basically ate my food, fell off his chair,
was inappropriately drinking out of the bottle at the table,
speaking over me, judging me for not drinking,
and towards the end of the date, I just said to him,
listen, I wanna go home. I'm tired, I just said to him, listen, like, I want to go home.
Like, I'm tired. I'm not going out with you. And he's like, yeah, you're coming out with like me.
It's my last night here. I'm like, no, I'm not. I'm not entertaining this anymore. I'm going home. I'm tired.
And he calls the waiter over and he's like, two espresso martinis, please. she needs to wake up. And I'm like, excuse me, like I just told you
that I am not drinking, I'm not staying longer
and you're crossing my boundaries
and it's really disrespectful.
Like in my head, this was the narrative
that was going on in my head.
I was just really bothered at this point
and starting to get pissed.
We end up getting the check because I was like,
absolutely not, like you're crossing a line at this point.
I'm not drinking with you, I was like, absolutely not. Like you're crossing a line at this point.
I'm not drinking with you.
I told you I'm not drinking.
You're not listening to me and it's, it's disrespectful.
So I'm going home.
I end up getting up to leave and he has the audacity to one ask me to split the bill with him.
So I ended up paying for his food and mine.
After probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a while on a date and then on top of that
he
Invited himself back to my villa and was like
Making a joke, but he clearly wasn't joking. He's like, oh, so am I coming back to your villa now?
And I'm like, no, you're not you're not coming back to
Where I'm staying at all. Needless to say,
after that, and after I had paid for us, basically, I was just beyond over it. And I'm like, listen,
this wasn't even supposed to be any type of date. I was just trying to grab dinner with
a new group of friends and it backfired on me. So I have to go. Um, and the next day I think he thought it must've went well.
Cause he texted me, he was like, I hope you enjoyed dinner. And I'm like,
yeah, I don't know. Maybe he just didn't really get, you know,
the social cues or maybe he just didn't understand proper etiquette,
but it was definitely an experience where I felt like,
um, I felt like it was definitely an experience where I felt like,
I felt like it was a good sign from the universe and very humbling, just in the sense of,
I felt the lesson there was just keep to yourself,
stay on your healing journey,
don't entertain anyone that's a stranger right now
because you need to heal and you need to focus on yourself.
But it was actually pretty funny because when I told people this story they were like this is almost like the universe is
just giving you free content to share with people. I'm like all right so maybe I'll use this story in
my next episode. So here we are. That being said, I'm very grateful that I'm here regardless. I'm
very grateful for the experiences that I've had while traveling
I think they shape who I am they build my character. They make me stronger
They make me laugh a lot of the time and I feel like it adds excitement and depth to my journey and my life in general
So I am very grateful
Thank you to that person for adding another story to the list of story times that I have about my crazy dating life.
Really appreciate it.
Now I'm going to get into this topic of why it's never too late to live your dream life.
I always tell people the number one thing I do to manifest my dreams is visualization.
Now visualization can have a different impact on everyone
and it can resonate differently with everyone,
but this is how I do it.
So this is gonna be advice from my perspective,
what I've seen works,
everyone has their own way of manifestation,
but for me, it's actually visualizing my future self
and what I want that to look like
and having it on repeat in my mind all the time.
A couple of years ago in 2021 and 2022, I was broke.
I had literally nothing left in my bank account.
I was borrowing money from my parents.
I was struggling financially so much and I was so depressed and my mental health was not in a good place and
This was prior to the podcast
I didn't know what my purpose was my job
Originally was creating content for hotels and travel brands and then kovat happened. So it wiped out my career essentially
I stopped making money. I didn't have an income. And then for a
year and a half, I was trying to, you know, I was going through my savings basically, because I
wasn't making any money, but I had, luckily I had savings at the time. So I was using all of my money
to live in New York, which as you know, is very expensive. And then I was trying to come up with new business ideas and things like
that and I was spending a lot of money on that and trying to maintain the life that
I was living before, but it wasn't sustainable and everything kind of collapsed. And then
there was some things happen. I made some bad investments with a lot of the other money
that I had saved and it ended up putting me in a position
where I had literally nothing left.
So it was pretty scary time.
It was definitely really overwhelming.
I remember waking up with anxiety every single day and to this day, I attribute my success
now to constant faith and visualization in my future. So even though I was struggling so much at that point in my life and I was really,
really depressed and anxious all the time,
there was still a piece of me that was holding onto this faith that things were
going to improve and get better.
And that is so important when you're going through a really difficult period of
time where you feel stuck,
whatever the situation is in your life currently,
if you're going through a really difficult time,
having that unwavering faith that everything
is going to change for the better eventually
is what is going to keep you afloat
and keep you in a state of hope
so you can actually get to the next level
and change your life for the better.
So, back to that story,
I was fortunate enough that I had been pretty successful in my early 20s, but now it was like my Saturn return.
For those of you who know about astrology, your Saturn return is in your late 20s and
it's usually when you get humbled by the universe in the sense of like a lot of intense, dramatic
things might happen to you that will shift your, you know,
shift you into adulthood and make you stronger in the end, but it could be a really difficult
time.
It could be a good time depending on your chart, but sometimes for others it's really
difficult and mine happened to be at the same time as like these Pluto transits and Pluto
is all about death and rebirth and transformation and it's just fucking intense.
And I had a few astrology readings and all of the people that were reading me were like,
yeah, you're about to go through some shit.
And I'm like, all right, cool.
And I did.
But the good news is I made it out stronger and better than ever.
And I'm so grateful for everything that happened.
But at the time, I remember it was so hard to think positively and it was so, it was
so challenging to actually believe that a better future was on its way because I was
in a really dark mental space for a very long time for it was almost two years straight.
So to be going through that and then seeing where I am now, I realized that all of that
happened for a reason.
And if this episode can inspire you to, you know, keep that faith and hold onto that faith,
then that's pretty much like why I'm recording this and telling you this story because, you
know, it's important to acknowledge that there's going to be periods of dark in your life and
there's going to be periods of light.
And something someone recently told me was that, you know, there is no light without
the dark and there's no dark without light.
And you know, the duality of that is part of what makes up the world and humanity.
And you have to embrace both.
And you have to understand both and you have to understand
that there's going to be both at different parts of your life.
And you know, there's going to be hard times and there's going to be amazing times.
And there's also going to be times in the middle where, you know, things are just neutral
and common and a place of peace.
And it's just understanding that both do exist and one can exist without the other that is
going to to you know
Give you this almost feeling of acceptance when you are going through a hard time knowing that
Better times will be on their way as long as you keep that faith and understand that life is never just one constant
there's always going to be ups and downs and it ebbs and flows and
That's just how it is. That's what humanity is. And so
during this period of time where I was deeply struggling, I was doing a lot of therapy. I was
pretty much spending every last dollar I had on therapy. I spent thousands of dollars on therapy.
And the one thing I wish I had heard from someone else at the time was that every time
you have a negative thought, you have to consciously reprogram it and be aware of it and then shift
it.
And that's what my masterclass, Dare to Detach, is focused on.
It's all about rewiring your subconscious mind and shifting your negative thoughts into
positive thoughts. And anytime you start to feel a negative thought creep into your mind, you become instantly
aware of it and you're like, you know what, that's a negative thought.
I'm not going to entertain that and sit with that.
I'm going to transform it into something positive.
For example, if, you know, for me at the time it was money and, you know, financially struggling.
So I would say, oh my like I'm broke like I literally have nothing left to my name
and I said that out loud before a few times and then looking back to repeat
that and to have that as something that I hold to believe to be true about myself
that was keeping me stuck and it became a habit to think that way and to think
in that mentality
where I was like things are really shitty, I can't afford anything, things are not improving
for me and I wish someone had been there to kind of guide me and say listen you need to
reprogram every single negative thought that's coming into your mind, you have to be aware
of it, catch it and change it into something more positive, because that's how you shift your reality, because your thoughts control your reality.
And I didn't really know how powerful a single thought could be if you keep repeating it over
and over again in your brain, but your subconscious is what is controlling your reality around you.
And if you want to learn more about this, you can always download my Masterclass Stare to Detach. All the members are already aware of this concept. And it's all about
reframing. It's all about taking every part of your subconscious and rewiring it to attract
bigger and greater and more amazing things into your future. So reframing your thoughts
is the key. If you're looking to manifest your dream
life, if you're looking to change your reality for the better and change your
future for the better, reframing your thoughts is a huge thing that I do when
I'm struggling because you will notice slowly over time if you start changing
those thought patterns your reality will start to shift for the better.
Another huge thing I do is vision boarding.
So I make vision boards frequently.
Whenever I'm trying to manifest new things, I always create and update my vision boards
and I use Canva for this.
I'm going to repost my vision board workshop on my website soon because I know a lot of you didn't get a chance to access that but it's totally free.
And I vision board frequently in order to manifest faster and to accelerate the manifestation process.
I had a like a whole spread of really aesthetic jungle vibes all over my vision board. I made it last year in December
and I had this one picture of me on a scooter with a guy with a arm tattoo and I found it on
Pinterest. I didn't know who the couple was but it was a couple on a scooter in a jungle and
couple on a scooter in a jungle. And a few days ago, I met a guy with an arm tattoo and we went on a scooter and we were driving through like this very jungly part of Bali.
It just looked like it was like all lush green because that's what Bali looks like. And at
the time I wasn't processing, oh, this was on my vision board. But then when I got home,
I was reviewing everything that I had on my vision board because
I wanted to update it and make a new one.
And I realized I had just lived out a piece of the vision board without even realizing
it.
And it's so beautiful how that happens because you don't even realize what you're picking
up in your subconscious sometimes.
But the fact that I was living out a piece of it, I was like, oh my God, this always
works. And it's
just in, I think I, I think I, I think I made that vision board. Yeah, it was in December.
So it really only took like six months to manifest. And, you know, obviously I had to
make the decision to come to Bali to settle here, to meet that person. You know, there's
so many steps that will lead up to your manifestations, but it's
all happening in divine timing.
And that's the beauty of it.
If you don't put pressure on it and you don't put pressure on the timing of when you're
trying to manifest and like when you want it to come in, it will come in in divine timing.
Like this could not be the more perfect time that I'm here right now.
I'm healing.
I ended a really toxic situation
very recently that propelled me to come here. I think if I had come here at a different time,
it just wouldn't have felt the same at all. So just trusting in divine timing and creating a
vision board and getting excited about it and like putting these images up and looking at them daily
and being like, this is going to be my future. This is what I want and I'm going to get it. And having that really, you know,
confident mentality when making it, it's a game changer.
There was also another picture of a scene of like a huge dinner spread with palm
trees and a sunset in the background that I had put on my vision board as well.
And I was sitting at my hotel the other night and the sun was setting and the sky was like
bright pink and I was surrounded by palm trees and there was like a whole dinner set up in
front of me and I realized that was another image that I had put on my vision board.
And I was like this really, really works.
People underestimate the power of looking at imagery and having it sit in your brain
and then like sit in your subconscious because you're looking at it all the time. So a big tip I have
for you when you're making the vision board, if you do it digitally and you're using Canva, which
is a website that makes it easy to create vision boards, you could go to Canva.com, type in vision
board and it'll give you templates to do it and then use Pinterest to put the
photos in.
It's very simple.
I will download the vision board and then I will put it as my phone wallpaper so I see
it at all times.
And I would say I've already manifested about half of what's on there already and I'm going
to update it again and I'll put the vision board workshop back up on my website.
If any of you are interested, send me a message.
I could send it to you as well.
Another big thing I do to manifest my dream life, which is super important, is reframing
my mind with I am affirmations.
The affirmations that I do always start with I am because I am is reprogramming your subconscious
to believe that you are that identity.
Like you are stepping into this new identity
and this new version of you.
So if you're saying, I am making $100,000,
I am receiving a check from work that was unexpected.
I am so grateful and I am attracting, you know,
unlimited abundance this year, whatever it is, it could be literally I am attracting, you know, unlimited abundance this year, whatever
it is. It could be literally anything followed by, you know, I am followed by whatever it
is you want to manifest. Saying those things on repeat and writing them in your notes.
I'll write things that I want to manifest down in my notes app on my phone daily. I make this a habit because I like to get really specific about my manifestations and
sometimes I'll forget and I think the key to also manifesting is knowing exactly what
you want and what you are expecting.
So for me, I'll write, you know, I am making X amount of money this month.
I am attracting a new brand opportunity.
I am getting invited to a luxury trip with a group of girls. I've attracted all of these things
through the power of affirmations and vision boards. Those two things I would say are the reason
I am where I am today, Especially knowing what my life was like
a few years ago till now,
and knowing the steps I took to get there,
and a lot of the healing techniques I use
and the reprogramming techniques I use for my subconscious
is all in my masterclass, Dare to Detach.
So that's why I always push the masterclass
and always tell people, you know,
I really recommend it as an investment in your future.
If you are looking to up level, change your reality, change your life and step into a more empowered, amazing version of you.
That's what the masterclass is really focused on.
And you could find the link to it in the show notes or on the Instagram at Dare to Detach.
So I always recommend it because it's the one thing I know like all of the steps that I've used to manifest to attract my
Dream life and to detach from the people in situations that aren't serving me
That's another key thing here when you're trying to manifest and create your reality and create your dream life
You have to cut out the bullshit and you have to cut out people that are really toxic for you
you cannot stay stuck in past patterns you cannot stay stuck in your old timeline, and you cannot have toxic people around you trying to discourage you from
your dream life because there's going to be people that do that. I always tell people to stop telling
people your fucking plans, like stop telling people what you're trying to manifest and accomplish,
stop sharing your future goals with people because a lot of people, and I hate saying this
because it might sound a little pessimistic,
but I've just learned the hard way.
A lot of people that you think are close to you
that are your good friends,
they don't wanna see you more successful than them.
And, you know, obviously if they're true friends
and they're amazing people and they're healthy for you,
they want to see you thrive,
but you have to be careful with
who you share your plans with. And you have to be careful with who you share your plans with.
And you have to be careful with who you're talking, you know, whatever it is you're talking
about that you're trying to accomplish, people will send you bad energy if they don't want
to see you more successful than them.
And it's happened to me before where I've said things too soon and I've, you know, told
people my plans.
And then suddenly it feels like I'm backpedaling and like the energy is almost taken out
of what I'm trying to accomplish and it feels like I suddenly am stuck and I can't really get there
and I know it's because I kept sharing things before they actually manifested and happened.
Let your manifestations speak for themselves so when they already happen people will see that
they happened and you could say oh like this already happened for me.
So now I'm confident in sharing it because it's already done.
But that's why I always say,
just be careful with who you're sharing your plans with.
Be careful with who you're sharing your manifestations with
because not everyone wants to see you happy.
And I hate saying that because obviously,
you would want people to have the best intentions for you.
And I try to be open-minded and give everyone the benefit of the fucking doubt because that's just who I am. But
just be aware of that and be conscious of it and protect your energy, protect your manifesting
abilities, protect your peace and just be aware. The other thing that has changed the game for me and it's something that I'm
entirely grateful for my best friend Haley Hoffman Smith I'm you know I always
talk about her and I always post about her because she's one of my closest
dearest friends but she is an EFT coach and EFT is emotional freedom technique
and if you want you could Google it to learn more about it I also have a
podcast episode with her about how to
Stop being attracted to the wrong people and we talk about EFT a lot towards the end of that episode
so if you want to learn more you could visit that or you could Google it or YouTube whatever but
tapping on pressure points
tapping on pressure points and
repeating affirmations
at the same time helps rewire your mind so much.
And it's been such a game changer for me as well.
And tapping also relieves anxiety, it relieves stress.
It helps your body relax if you're going through
a really high stress state.
Even when you're out, sometimes I'll get like social anxiety
when I'm out, I'll literally go to the bathroom and tap because that's the only thing that calms me down without the use of
like medication.
I know a lot of people, you know, take medication for anxiety, depression, all that stuff, but
I'm a really big believer that you can heal naturally and do things that will calm your
nervous system and regulate it very naturally.
So I try to avoid that stuff and there's nothing wrong with it by the way, but for me, like I'm very sensitive to medication. I prefer to do things holistically
and tapping has helped with my anxiety and stress levels more than you can imagine.
I'm hopefully going to host a workshop with EFT with Hayley soon, maybe at the end of the summer,
if anyone's interested. You can also send me a DM if that's something you would be interested in.
But tapping has changed the game and you could also YouTube tapping videos and
follow along with those videos.
And I do that.
I do that pretty much, I would say a few times a week now.
Um, I used to do it every single day.
Now I'm at a place of peace where I only needed a few times a week.
But if I'm ever struggling with anxiety, if I'm feeling stuck in my manifestations,
if I'm feeling blocked energetically in any way
Whether it's money related whether it's relationship related or anything tapping has really been so helpful for me
the other thing is
Journaling so for me I
Never really liked journaling because I get really lazy with writing things down
I prefer to type everything in my phone.
So I type a lot of iPhone notes.
My notes are my diary.
So if anyone, you know, goes through my phone, they'd probably be like, is this girl okay?
Is this girl good?
But honestly, I use it because it's just easy for me, especially when I'm out.
If I have a thought, I'll just write it down in my notes.
But I've also been carrying a journal around with me recently, especially while traveling
and just taking notes on my emotions and observing my emotions and sitting with my feelings sometimes.
I'll go by the beach now in the morning and journal and write down things that are concerning
me, my feelings, you know, what I want to accomplish in the future,
how I want to feel in the future.
And just, you know, having these journaling prompts,
you can look on Pinterest for journaling prompts
about self-love and self-awareness
and use those to inspire you to journal.
If you're feeling stuck and you're like,
I don't really know what to journal about,
go on Pinterest and use it as a tool to, you know, write your prompts and then answer them
because there's so much good information on there and I use Pinterest for literally everything.
And then the other thing is just being easy on yourself and being gentle with yourself
throughout your healing process and throughout your manifestation process and trying to,
you know, work towards your future self. Rome wasn't built in a day, cliche quote, but true, and you know, it's applicable to
this.
Things don't always have to manifest overnight.
Sometimes things take time.
Sometimes working towards something in a more slow but steady pace is actually more beneficial
and rewarding because it's more sustainable and you're not just attracting shit overnight and then you don't know what to do with yourself because you're not
prepared for it. I would say for example with my podcast it was such a slow build. For the first
year I didn't make a dollar off of it, I wasn't monetizing it, I wasn't doing anything with it
other than just building and it took a long time. It was a slow burn but now I've created a foundation a community of amazing people
I truly believed in the vision. I held the vision even though I was you know struggling for a while mentally
I held the vision I knew I was helping other people and it was a slow burn
But it manifested into exactly what I wanted it to manifest into which is a brand where I could help other people and that's
all I've ever wanted for my career to have it be tied to meaning and purpose and to be able to help
others and heal others.
And it's my dream job and it's everything I could ever want but it's a slow burn sometimes.
So be gentle with yourself during the process of manifesting and understand that it's coming
in divine timing. Now tying this into divine timing, this is a tattoo
I got while I'm while I've been in Bali. I got a divine timing tattoo. I also got my
birthday 119 January 19th tattooed on me 19 that number just follows me everywhere. It's
my lucky number and it's literally my birthday, my mom's birthday and my brother's birthday.
My grandpa passed on my birthday and 19,
just literally everywhere I go,
there's some sort of attachment to that number for me.
Not sure what it is, but it's really fascinating.
I got the divine timing tattoo
because over the last couple of weeks, everything regarding the last relationship
I was in, the information I found out and the timing of me coming to Bali was so significant
to me and it was, it all happened in such perfect ideal timing.
And there's been so many circumstances and things that have happened to me over the last year where things just happened at the perfect timing.
And I had tried to like force certain things to happen the way that I wanted at certain times and I was like not seeing the results I wanted.
And I was always trying to manifest things in a certain way at a certain time.
And I wasn't trusting the process.
Sometimes I would force things and be like,
why isn't it coming?
Like, why isn't it manifesting?
And over the last year in particular,
I've realized that everything happens
at the perfect timing, no matter what.
And especially over the last month,
given the information I found out about a specific person
that was in and out of my life for a while
that I loved very dearly, and then I found out about a specific person that was in and out of my life for a while that I loved very dearly
and then I found out that they had betrayed me,
it just happened in divine timing. Everything that happened unfolded the way that it should have for me to
completely remove myself and be done and
I went and got that tattoo. So,
just remember that. As you're trying to manifest and as you're
trying to you know go through your journey of life everything happens in
divine timing so just trust and understand that the universe is working
for you and not against you and that's how everything comes in like you have to
just trust relax allow yourself to trust the process and understand that everything is
happening for you in the perfect timing and it's a beautiful way to live.
