Welcome to episode 13 of Hus Firma Pride, the D&Ds for nerds adventure.
Previously.
My kinds don't know much about the Underdark.
I couldn't tell you.
His agents come to find us.
Let's not give it to these animals.
At the very least, take a weather. Cassius,
you actually rolled super high, so you know the exact
rules for bags of holding.
You don't want to puncture them, ever.
It's not a good idea. How you doing?
What happened? You had a unicorn
horn through the back of your skull. He like touches
where his eye was.
Is it empty? You lost an eye, guys.
He is cool.
I can't
put him back in. I've stepped back.
I hate this world.
I came back into it. Is she going to
be put to death or just put in a
jail cell? Yeah, to be tortured and probably
attacked by Norn.
They're us. We're Norns.
I know, they're barbarians.
That's what they are.
You're gonna kill her now?
Oh my god, no.
Where am I?
I'm leading you away.
You cut her head off cleanly.
With a war hammer?
Oh, you smash her head
into the ground.
Cleanly?
This, Mr. Fist, is why I fucking hate coming home.
Having finished their business in Lockport, our heroes head home.
On the ride home, a blizzard starts kicking up.
God damn it.
It takes you three days to get home and across the... It's a big blizzard.
We've only taken three weeks with this bullshit already.
You guys are probably already rugged up.
You live in this type of environment.
So you're partially ready
and maybe you pull your fur caps
a little further down on your heads.
Maybe you hunch a little further over in your coats.
And your horses just have to bear it i guess mr fists is having a fucking awful time oh i want to get him and like tuck him in my jacket and try and keep him warm and also comfort the horse as
much i can i ask its name uh does it like just like horse?
I'm going to say horses don't have names.
They don't have a language.
They don't have names.
That's fair enough.
You ask stupid questions.
What's Wesley doing?
What, sorry?
What's Wesley doing?
He's probably, like, he doesn't ask permission. He just hides in your coat.
Does Mr. Fist ask permission?
No, well, Mr. Fist doesn't ask permission.
Mr. Fist is just like, peg on your coat. Did Mr. Fist ask permission? No, Mr. Fist doesn't ask permission. Mr. Fist is just like,
on your shoulder, like, you can tell he's suffering,
but he's not saying anything.
Adorable.
Okay, let's get back to Terran.
It takes you three days to get back.
You heal 15 hit points.
And, Edric,
you heal the constitution damage
that you took.
Because of the blizzard, your vision is pretty much restricted to maybe like arm's length.
You can only see what's an arm's length away from you.
So you're going to have to just do your best guess and judge whereabouts the town is.
Oh, no.
Good.
Where was that?
Because the paladin said something about a meeting with the drow at some point.
When was that?
Have we missed that already?
I feel like we've missed that interaction, I think.
Yes.
You know, within seven days, around the edge of Lor M'Kane,
there was a planned meet-up with the drow.
But we had no actual, like, we didn't have, like, a specific location.
You did, actually.
It was on the edge of the city.
Oh, okay.
You're not sure.
That seems like somewhat...
It seems like a very dangerous place to meet.
You're not sure why they would have done that.
Okay.
Yeah.
Do we intend to intercept the meeting?
Yes.
That's like three days away.
Yeah, we need to go back to...
You're not in Lorne McCain yet.
You guys can have this conversation,
but you're not in Lor Mekane yet.
Keep that in mind while you're having the conversation.
Let's have the conversation on the road,
because I think we need to tell Herrscher this.
Also, you're yelling it over the blizzard.
We need to tell Herrscher this.
What?
Come into the tent.
Speak louder.
I'm sorry, do you have a tent?
We don't have a tent.
That's right, you don't.
We need you to fund tents. That's right, you don't. We should have gotten tents.
You can buy them.
Not now.
We've got a bag of holding we can spend our time in.
Does that work, Adam?
Sorry?
Can we just plop the bag of holding down,
clamber on inside, stay out of the business?
Yeah, it has ten minutes of air in it.
Okay.
Oh, hang on, wait, what's ten divided by three?
It has about three minutes of air in it.
Four, because we'd have Daniel as well.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
It was about two,
about two and a half minutes.
Well, we could do it
one at a time
for ten minutes sleeps.
All right,
I guess we gotta buy
some fucking tips.
Or you could just
yell at each other.
We'll just sleep
in a huddled pile.
It's like a story
I once heard.
Like a group of players
like had a bag of holding.
One of them made friends with a prostitute and was like,
I'm going to take you everywhere.
Put her in the bag of holding.
And the next time they opened the bag of holding,
she's like suffocated.
That's rough.
Although a good trap.
A very good trap.
I guess we yell over the blizzard.
For someone who's an idiot, I guess.
So, you know, if someone was trying to trap you three.
Wait, no, we're not idiots.
I'm doing all right.
I am.
I'm an idiot.
I'm doing all right.
Does that mean you're agreeing with the idiot statement?
I don't know.
It sounded like an agreement.
I just feel like, all right,
so we need to go and tell Herja
and at least the town guard,
unless they've attacked since we've been...
We have been away for a while.
Should have probably gone
and get a messenger back to the...
Anywho.
Here we are.
Here we are.
We'll keep heading back.
Tell her to see what she wants us to do.
We could stake out that little meeting place.
You can...
Do I know you can be a tree?
Do you know I can what?
Do I know you can be a tree?
Have in the nights we've spent you asked me to detail my druid powers?
Would I?
You probably don't know I can be a tree.
I didn't tell you much.
I did just become a bear.
Like out of the blue. That's right. Maybe you can be a tree. I didn't tell you much. I did just become a bear. Like, out of the blue.
Maybe you can become a bear or something smaller
and hide out near them, near the meeting,
and eavesdrop on whatever they plan on doing.
It's an idea, but let's check the state of Loracane first.
Yes.
Loracane.
I mean.
Lorraine.
Lorraine.
Despite the severely lowered visibility,
between the three of you,
any one of you on your own could have made your way home.
You're not in any way waylaid or slowed down necessarily by the blizzard.
It's unpleasant, but it's not a hazard really for you guys.
You're too experienced.
Yeah.
Hard as snow folk the first
signs you see of uh law mccain and i want you to know that the blizzard is still pretty it's like
dying down now but it's still pretty active and like i said still blizzard so to tell you that
it's burning buildings you need to understand oh no that to see burning buildings in this means it's an intense
fire. God damn it!
No!
I run.
Maybe like 20,
like a quarter of the buildings are
alight. I horse.
Horse as fast as we can.
As soon as you see that, you like pick up
speed and you're going in. Come on, horse!
There are like maybe four or five buildings in basically the center of town that have been not only boarded up,
but there's a makeshift wall around them.
It's like there's not a lot of trees near the town of Lormacayne,
so it's like other houses, carts, just whatever was at hand to make a wall.
What are the buildings?
Are they of note or just like general houses?
One of them is the Blacksmith's, Blacksmithy, which is pretty much the only stone building in town.
And it also happens to be a two-story building.
In the second story, you can see quite like prominently archers placed.
You can also see guards at other parts.
It's not like a proper
wall thing it's more like i guess barricades set up around these buildings and you can see there
are people manning the barricades um as you approach at first they're like you know they
point at you and you can see bows trained on you but when they recognize who you are they wave and
like let you through oh god okay God. Okay. You come in.
One of the town guard, none of you probably know his name, but you happen to know that he's in the town guard
and maybe served under Herger, approaches you and says,
Hale, what news have you of the outside?
We'll tell him what we know.
Yeah, we tell him we've taken care of Alpena,
we've sort of cleared that trading route.
So we've hopefully got some...
Clearly things have become worse while we were gone, though.
As soon as he realizes you're not the people...
You're not...
Yeah, you're not what he thinks you are.
So you're not here with reinforcements?
We sent some people with reinforcements.
You weren't them.
We saw no one on the road.
We left at a bad time.
Clearly.
So where did you send them to?
We sent them to Lockfort, which is the place you came from.
We just came from there.
We haven't.
We saw no one on the road.
We met nobody on the road.
Clearly things have gotten worse here, though.
The drow attacks are nearly nightly
God damn it
Did we send a message to
Any message we send
We're pretty sure is intercepted
And we really just lose people doing that
Herger
Took a posse and
Rode out to the north trying to find the drow
Among the caves there
She hasn't returned. It's been
nearly a week.
Let's restock. Follow.
Um, okay.
Tell him the information about there's a
meetup potentially in X-Men
of Days.
I guess if that hasn't already
happened, unless they're going for a bigger
attack. Damn drow, he spits
on the ground. I spit on the ground as well.
Have I met drows I've liked?
You...
Hang on.
Can you roll for me, Adam?
Oh, have you met drows?
I've travelled.
I've been around.
Highs or lows?
Highs.
Doesn't matter.
Low.
I spit on the ground as well and then stomp on the spit.
You haven't met drow, period.
Okay.
How's our mother figure?
Hang on.
Yeah.
Oh, you asked.
Never mind then.
I was about to roll to see if you knew.
She was in a...
After her house was burnt down,
she moved to another house with the orphans.
That one has also been burnt down.
She was injured.
Where is she now?
She's in the smithy.
The burn is bad. It was some sort of sentient fire double
i'll follow okay yeah okay you get into the smithy um this part has been like poor guy just
that god being like yeah so oh okay then guys later whatever he understands you're running off
fine i dropped my Fine You get into the
bottom level of the blacksmithy
There's like, the door is barred
but it's very lightly
It doesn't take much to push it open
But as soon as you push it open
a boy, maybe 12 years old
draws a training sword on you
He sees you're not drow
and he lowers it and relief
washes over his
face behind him they're like wounded many of them are burnt the burns look like wicked awful like
um i don't know if it's first degree or third degree which one's worse third third degree
there are they're all third degree type burns you can see like flesh exposed and yeah, not flesh, sorry, bone and like
muscles. Oh, Adam, please.
Oh, Jesus.
He could be sad.
Uh-huh.
You guys just like walk
past him or whatever? The little kid. He's like
letting you pass.
Give him a pat on the head. Give him a brustle of his
hair. Tussle. Sorry, Lance.
Mistra. Mistrara One eyed Mistra
Yeah, I assume
Yeah
Cassius, you spot Mistra
She's on one of the beds
Laying down
It's hard to know which one's Mistra
Because her face is pretty fucked up
I'm gonna kind of go over to her and
sort of squat down
stand near her, hold her hand
if I can and I would like to assess her medically
not like surgeon level but I just want to be like
what are the chances she's surviving
okay so
this is not
well the
you're pretty sure that whatever has happened to these people
has happened super recently okay because the all the burns are like really fresh like you can there's
still blood basically in the wounds jesus um whatever has been there has been like some basic
stuff like some bandages and maybe some like creams and stuff have been applied but it's all super like
it's not very well done you could do better okay yeah i might i might there's like another
maybe a child like 13 years old um probably one of mistra's like apprentices but maybe been
studying for a year and uh she's doing what she can but it's not a lot is mister conscious um she doesn't
make any signs of like consciousness i open up that it's hard to tell with the face like that
bindle she gave us oh yeah she gave us a bindle she gave us that bindle when one of our party
was in need you open that yeah uh there's like a little cloth sack within a cloth sack. And then you open the cloth sack.
Within that is like this little glass ball with like a smoky substance inside.
Can I acknowledge your con of that shit?
It's a bomb!
No, you can't.
Zilly can.
Zilly, that's right.
You're a saucer lock.
Zilly, you identify it as some sort of divination object.
You're not sure exactly what it does.
Sorry, yeah.
So you open the bindle.
There's the cloth sack.
You open the cloth sack.
Pull out the little smoky ball.
And as you hand it off to Zilly for her to have a look at it,
the smoke starts to clear and the orb becomes just like completely
you know, see-through.
That's good. You're not sure what that
means. Okay.
Mistress said to give it to one of us
in our time of need.
It doesn't look like a
healing
orb at all.
Zilli, what is it?
Yeah, me? What is it?
You don't know what it is.
Oh.
But you say some kind of divination.
I say some things.
What's divination, Zilly?
Well, it's when you don't have a lot of room in your timetable,
so you take a class with Professor Trelawney and you read tea leaves.
That's why.
So my nightmeester just gave us
A tea leaf ball
Some Harry Potter nonsense
Help me Adam
Help me
Divination is a school of magic
Divination
The divination school of magic
Concerns
Either something like remote seeing
So being able to see something far away,
seeing the future, seeing the past,
just like vision
other than usual vision.
So this will not heal. Night vision. No, it has
no healing qualities as far as you can tell.
I will tell them, I'll be like, hey guys, this doesn't heal.
You feel like maybe it confers
some sort of wisdom upon someone in a
time of need, maybe. Not healing,
but wisdom.
Does Meestra need wisdom?
No, she needs healing. Do we need healing?
I'm going to start.
I'll cure moderate wounds.
Okay.
Let's see what I can do.
You cast the spell.
Her flesh heals momentarily and then unheals.
What?
I'd like to punch a wall.
I'll get to that in a sec
I don't know why this is happening
and then you punch a wall
I sure do Adam
I sure do
you
make a crack in the wall
I was like opening my sheet to write down
the damage I took
but no good you're wearing the gauntlets you make a crack in the wall okay i was like opening my sheet to write down the damage i took but no good no you you're wearing the gauntlets you make a crack in the wall
i want to turn around this fucking town needs i'm gonna turn around to edric and be like i can't
solve this with punching i'm gonna go over and see if i can heal up anyone else because i'm mad
with like magic yeah um every time i try is it the same thing every time you try it unheals itself
maybe on the second attempt
the little girl who was
going around and applying salve
and stuff like that stops you and says
it's no hope
it was some sort of magical fire
that burnt them devil's flame she says
don't know what devil's flame is
I know what devils and flames are
but have I an understanding of when they are She says, don't know what Devil's Flame is? I know what devils and flames are,
but have I an understanding of when they are?
Zilly?
Yeah. You know, you've heard of Devil's Flame before.
It's sentient fire.
It's sentient fire.
You know the burns it causes are like magical
and are super hard to heal.
These are magical burns and they are super hard to heal.
So a burn by Devil's Fire actually spreads
until it kills the victim.
Oh, no.
Do I know of a cure?
There are some types of magic that can restore it,
but you need either a powerful cleric
or a really powerful wizard.
Are we either of those things?
No.
Nope.
My God.
You definitely wouldn't be able to find one in Lockfort.
Potentially, the king priest in Icefray
the leader of your religion
could heal these people
how high is that Adam?
that would be
about
2 months
how many days in a 2 month period period of a nightly drow attack?
Plus another two months back
Yeah, the elves might I
Wasn't even thinking when I said that the elves might be
They want
They won't.
Are you relaying this to us, Zilli?
Yeah, I'm telling you guys. Actually, it is super fun.
I didn't think about that until literally just as much.
It's kind of weird.
But the elves are probably the best position to help you right now.
Oh, damn.
Well, the elves are weird.
A lot of people are going to be like,
oh, they've got to make friends with their enemies
to cure the person they love or whatever.
That's not what I had planned.
I could do it. Elves, we have a
treaty. I'm a dwarf. I'll make friends.
I could make friends. We have a treaty with
them, but... That doesn't count for much.
I'd rather come now. But I don't look
Nordic. Fuck it.
Just kill them.
Or
pin in that.
I'm on the fence with both of those options.
Adam, where's the nearest like...
No, elves as well. Finding a powerful elf wizard is going to be hard too, isn't it?
There's no elven cities that close by. It's kind of a crapshoot either way.
Yeah.
Like, Valowick is the nearest large elven settlement, which is the only...
Like, large settlements are really the only chance you have
and that's like two months as well
Valwick is further
and it was what day?
although if you went to an elven settlement
you have definitely a better chance of finding someone
don't
I always lose them
especially when Jackson does it
when I do what?
take the rubber bands oh yeah I do i steal adam's elastic bands and play merry havoc with i think
you've lost like four now son of a bitch um this is hard chances are when we leave the drow are
going to attack and even if we make a small piece with a one elf which might potentially have sympathetic to our cause
and we bring that person back by the time we've done that this town is gone so sort of seems like
we have two options really i'm gonna say going to say goodbye to Mistra,
and then I'm going to go and see what the town guard is doing,
and then I need to know if we stay here a night or if we leave now.
We either defend the town,
or we seek out whatever the main fuckboy's name was.
Pabbelhoost.
Pabbenet.
Pabbenackle.
Pabbenet Fairwind.
That was definitely not the last name.
I think you just made that up.
It's definitely Pabbenet Fairwind.
He's going to show you it written on a page.
Yeah, there you go.
First of all, I can't read that far away.
Second of all, I just did it to the left.
I even had a pronunciation guide for myself.
Nicely done.
Thank you.
Wish I'd done that for the drow.
I'm just going to go over and say my goodbyes to Mistra
because she's dead.
She's dead.
That's our mum, dad.
Our mum did.
So I'm just going to go over there.
She doesn't seem conscious.
And break down like a little boy and cry and hold her hand
and say my goodbyes.
Your tears heal her like in Pokemon.
Yay!
Yes!
Actually, we're not going to cry.
I'm a bit more stout.
Just hold her hand and say my goodbyes.
Okay.
I'll probably do the same.
I'll stand next to her because I don't need to sit.
Daniel does that as well.
He cries a little.
Like it's quiet.
No sobbing, just tears.
I'm sorry.
I want a single tear.
Single manly tear.
Single manly tear.
I'd like to pretend it's not happening.
I'd like to pretend that we're like on our quest, we're going to find either an elf to use charm person on, or we can find a cleric.
So I'm going to be like, just hold tight there.
I'm sorry, but we're just hold tight there, Mr. Ruff.
I'm sorry, but we're in our 90s phase of comics here.
Superman's got a mullet and wearing a black uniform.
So I'll kiss Mr. on the head and say something.
What bullshit is he saying about lights and eyes?
Say that again.
Something sentimental. You say that again. Something sentimental.
You say something sentimental. Yeah.
I mean...
I'll try not to let the light
leave our eyes.
Is that what she said to us?
Something to that effect. She doesn't want to see the light
leave your eyes. Yeah, alright.
I'll try to make that not happen.
Did Misha
have anything in plan for if she died?
For the orphans?
Does anybody else work at the orphanage?
She went through
a long list of people
trying to get people to succeed her
and none of them ended up doing that.
Also, I think half,
if not more than half, the orphans are burned.
Yeah.
Like, you hear some of the people in here talking like a lot of these people
were the like orphans that mistra attended to like a lot of them are talking about like when
it went up the second time again it was like like the first time um there are like a lot of
a lot of bodies that just weren't recover because they were burnt to nothing.
I just storm out and go back to that.
The orphans are either in this room,
lying on a bed,
tending to the people who were lying on beds,
or ash.
Oh, God, I don't know.
I leave and go to that town guard again.
Of course, it's not just kids.
But yeah, they did target kids.
Motherfucking growl.
Motherfucking growl.
Just letting you know.
I would just like to, when we leave...
Just reminding you, Superman has a mullet.
Yeah, go to the guard captain.
Or the guard captain who's been left in charge.
Yeah, you go back to him?
Yeah.
As you approach him...
No, as you approach him, he nods and says, I'm sorry about Mistra.
And I say, okay, so are the drow attacks nightly?
Almost.
Maybe every other night.
So when was the last attack?
The last attack would have been last night.
We have a separate...
There's not enough room in the blacksmithy for all of our wounded.
There's a separate one for some of the older ones.
Who, well, you know, we put the children in the one that's most secure.
That's why we stay the night.
I kind of, with everyone around, Daniel, Zilli, Cassius, and the town guard, like, well, the options are we stay the night I kind of, with everyone around Daniel, Zilly, Cassius and the town guard
Like, well, the options are we stay the night
And
We don't have supplies for you to stay the night here with us
We don't have supplies to stay the night here ourselves
We'll deal
We've got some supplies
We're tough, mate
Speaking of which, if you do happen to have any supplies
For us
I'll give them my rations, what little I have left
Sure, I can survive in the wild
Yeah, I'm going to give 20 odd rations
I'll give you
One of you might have a spell
I have 6 rations
Check your spells, Cassius
It's like a 0 level spell, create food and water
That's amazing
I thought I gave you your spells that show. Oh, it is.
You're looking at them now.
I've got create water.
Do you have create food and water?
No, I purify food and drink.
Okay, never mind then. I thought you did.
Must be a cleric spell then, I'm thinking of.
I could go out and hunt deer. Are there deer?
In the surrounding area?
Like before nightfall, I could go hunt a deer?
You could try.
Yeah, you can try. There's spend the rest of the afternoon hunting?
Yeah, you can try.
There's not going to be... In a blizzard, first off, and also near a town.
True.
Animals tend to avoid towns.
Yeah, I could use detect animals and then chum those animals and punch them in the face.
Options are to stay here the night, give you guys another option.
How many able-bodied people we have?
15-odd.
How many are...
15 men and women who could stand on their own two feet and swing a sword.
How many dying that will get better?
Hard to say.
The drow use, on their weapons, they use a wicked poison.
Many of our people who, shut up.
Wicked man.
I did a little wicked, like, remember Pluck a Duck would do this?
Whoa, the hand movement.
Anyway, carry on.
Wicked poison, bro.
Shut up.
Shut the fuck up.
Many who have been wounded by their weapons are lying in some sort of coma.
I don't want to take 15 men away and then have them killed.
Just saying.
What's the nearest town is where we came from?
Men and women.
True.
They are racist, but they are not sexist.
The nearest town is where we came from.
I'll swim abroad!
I'll swim abroad.
Is that the first time you've said it happily?
So the nearest town is where we came from.
Lockfort.
Lockfort, yes.
The Lockfort.
Three days travel.
So one option, and this is a very pragmatic option,
and I'm not a huge fan, but it means some of us live,
is that we get everyone that we can,
and we caravan to Lockfort.
It's an idea. What caravans do we have?
A town.
A hot nun.
Pretty much all of them have been broken down to form the fences.
I was using that as more as a verb rather than an actual thing oh i see doable we could try and take them through the night i
mean we have 15 men but then we also have like fucking 100 wounded i'm about to get to that
all right means abandoning our wounded yep it it means giving them an honourable death.
What, to die at the hands of the drow again?
No.
We kill them now.
No.
They're going to die.
They've been sentiently fired.
Is there a cure for that?
There is, but we're not finding it in time. I'd rather
them not die at my hand.
And if you try and kill them, I'll stop
you. I didn't even want to come home.
Fucking Daniel. I point at Daniel.
If you fucking told me who the
fuck you were, I wouldn't even be here.
You would have left, and we might all be dead.
Well, Daniel, you know,
you want to know where i
was roughly like half a year ago daniel i was in a wedding i was at a wedding it was sunny it was
lovely i come back here and now this fuck childhood friend he's like how about we kill i'm not a
hundred wounded it's either that or this you speak as if you're talking to someone who cares
Daniel says
I'm going after the drow
You can come with me or you can stay here
That's up to you
Fuck you Daniel have a good time
I'm gonna defend the town
Oh shit
I'm gonna have to make a decision
Daniel hitches up on his horse
Daniel you go in there you're dead
Our best bet
is to come up
with a plan. I don't even care. I'm not saying
I'm not even salty right now,
Daniel. Then I'll die more
man than Cassius ever was.
Potentially, yes.
Fuck boy!
I give him the double finger salute.
Daniel,
you're an able-bodied man right now.
This is what this town needs.
The options, we don't have many.
Our options are to abandon this town and leave to try and get to Lockfort.
Another option is to stay here and defend it and then go and attack the drow.
I will not run from these scum.
Then we stay here, defend from an attack, try and take down some of the drow, try to get some relief from the people that are suffering.
Daniel shakes his head.
No.
Daniel's fucking rude.
I keep thinking of the dumbest solutions to this problem.
I'm like, we still have a winter wolf problem.
Winter wolves are animals.
What if I go into the wilderness, charm the winter wolves, talk with them, be like, treaty with the winter wolves are animals what if i go into the wilderness charm the winter wolves talk with them be like treaty with the winter wolves you drag everyone defend us to lock foot we make
sleds we put the dead on the sleds dead sleds chuff to lock foot treaty with the winter wolves
a you're not a silly silly character That's your problem
That's an option Cassius
I shake my head
That's a great option
Daniel we
Someone else can try to convince him if they want
I'm staying here defending the town
No I mean convince Daniel
No I'm mad at Daniel
I guess it's me
I just want to tell Daniel that it's a really bad idea
to split up and it's not going to help him
find Karhoff
Remember Karhoff?
It's not about
not going and attacking
it's about thinking things through
Basically
We can save these people and then come back and fight
This isn't about how we win
This is how we try not to lose
Daniel on his horse like after you talk, Zilli These people and then come back and fight. This isn't about how we win. This is how we try not to lose.
Daniel, on his horse, like after you talk, Zilly,
you probably, you knew him a bit better than Edric did.
You hung out a lot and you probably like tried to call back like, hey, we're friends.
Did we have like a Tuesday through Thursday?
Hey, we're friends.
You know, we care about each other i care about you
and i think this is a bad what you're planning is a bad idea i think we've got the right or the
best idea with what we have he like turns away from you guys looks out to the north and you see
him like mulling things over and like not really like he's looking out to the north but he's not
looking you get what i mean yeah yeah he's looking inside yes he's looking out to the north but he's not looking you get what I mean?
he's looking inside he's looking inside at you
he gets back off the horse
but
we're killing those drow at some point
and we're getting Carl back
of course that was never the question
come on now
Gosh, Daniel
No, I don't know
Please, please
He's so angry
How long
What are the attacks
Ask the guard
What are the attacks like
What is
Basically what is happening here
What are the attacks
How many drow
Drow rule the night
We can't see far enough
Our torches aren't good enough
They I guess our torches must light up like a...
They don't have Christmas trees.
Our torches must light our town up like a bonfire.
We have bonfires.
Like a Christmas tree in another universe.
Like a larger bonfire.
Do not know drow tactics.
From range, they're easily able to target our people. Like a larger bonfire. Do not know drought techniques. They are from range.
They're easily able to target our people.
And every now and then, if they feel like they see a weakness in our defenses, they'll probe it physically with their forces.
Imagine every backstabby fuckboy you've ever met.
That's drow.
Every now and then, if they can, they creep into the camp at night and butcher people just in their sleep.
How much wood do we have to make a barricade?
I mean, I know it's not much.
They've made the best barricade they could.
Okay, cool.
I was like, I've got wood shape.
I could, like, wood shape a nicer barricade if that would work.
There's not enough wood to actually cover the...
The problem isn't, like, that the wood isn't in the right shape.
It's more that there's just glaring gaps.
Yeah, okay.
Well, what are our options then?
Well, we've got all the wounded in one building.
How many of us are even left?
There's mostly wounded.
15 good men.
15 able-bodied.
Of the wounded, there's maybe, like, closing on 40.
They're all in the one building, the wounded.
Sorry? Are they all in the one building, the Wounded. Sorry?
Are they all in the one building, the Wounded?
They're in two separate buildings.
Children and Mistra are in the Blacksmithy,
and then anyone who couldn't fit in there
is in just one of the other four buildings left.
What fate will befall the town and its inhabitants?
