Sands Pants Radio, Australia's most American podcast network.
Yes, you're previously on Stories of the Greyhill Free Company.
Very happy to go with the flow.
Well, no, you assumed she had an opinion.
She just didn't choose to share it.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, just like I said, a very guarded person.
He certainly sees you, but you might not necessarily see him.
He's kind of like a father figure.
Oh, he's little kittens.
And then finally, Yayola is probably the weirdest member of your group.
Well, of course you've got to watch out because the trees, the trees will speak to you.
They'll say things.
Oh, there's a pit trap.
She puts her arm out to stop Chantal.
Cobolds spring from all sides.
Get their heads.
They're throwing a bee's nest at us.
Yeah.
That's fucked.
And you realize you've stepped onto a second pit trap
in between you and the kobolds.
Oh no. You fall.
That grippy bit is holding onto
a scorpion. Nah.
Then the kobold has a backpack
and the, well, like a crate,
like a cage
that they are wearing like a backpack
and that has a skunk in it.
You understand the tactics.
We're all taking damage.
Yes and no.
So, say, five points of damage for you
is less than five points of damage for me.
Three kobolds down now in total,
with seven left to go.
Big T, on your side,
I believe there are four kobolds on this side.
All of them draw daggers and surround you.
Oh, no, wait.
Chantel's here.
They don't surround you.
They form a line against you and Chantel, surrounding you as best as they can.
To attack you, that will be two misses, I think.
What's your armor class there, Big T?
Eight.
Nope, that's not mine.
Fifteen.
Fifteen. Thank God that's not mine. Fifteen. Fifteen.
Thank God it's not eight.
One of them manages to stab Chantel, punching a hole in
a weak spot of
her armor. She cries out in
pain and takes three points of damage.
Then, there
are two,
three left on the other
side, I think.
That sounds wrong.
Yeah, it should be fewer.
No, me and Leolanda took two and I injured two.
Yeah.
So two of them are going to use their slings against.
Actually, one fires at Glovel.
There.
Critical hit. And one fires at Glovel. There. Critical hit.
And one fires at Yaiola.
Regular hit.
Yaiola takes five points of damage.
Goodbye, friends.
Maybe.
Who knows?
Not in the face.
No, wait.
Bellringer, you are deafened until the end of your next turn.
Mark.
Pardon?
Eh?
Eh.
Five points of damage.
And then finally,
the kobold that threw a bees nest on the other side,
who has not been harmed yet,
they use that hook to go down to their belt and unhook a clay pot.
They swing around and around and around
and then throw the clay pot at...
Odds or evens?
Evens.
Evens at you.
Oh, wait, are you wearing armor?
Yeah, well, I've got a shield.
Yeah, at you.
It impacts on your shield and splashes all around you.
As soon as the clay pot strikes, it just shatters.
You are covered in a green slime.
Oh, no.
I think it's going to eat your armor away.
Oh, I mean your shield.
Oh, man.
Oh, no, it's a little bit of wood.
And any armor you might have.
Oh, no, you also take damage.
Cool.
So you, yes, you know what this green slime is.
You know this green slime is a substance called green
slime it is the india is not incredibly clever yeah
yeah guess what yellow mold and brown mold look like so you are covered in green slime it's going
to eat away at this shield destroying it over time unless you can, I believe, you need any effect that creates cold fire or radiant damage.
Okay.
Oh, no, sunlight and any effect that cures disease will also work.
You are presumably in a very shadowy area, which will prevent sunlight right now.
Okay.
But anything, if you can find sunlight, any effect that cures disease, cold
fire or radiant damage destroys
Greenslam. Until then, you are going to
take a d10 damage around
and your shield is going to be
slowly eaten away. Okay.
Cool. Is that now? That'll be
on your turn. Okay. Before
I can act? That will be at the
beginning, at the start
of your turn. Fuck.
Oh, you can scrape it off. It just will deal extra damage. Oh no, I figured.
Oh, I'm sorry. It does 2d10
damage to your shield.
But only 1d10
to you. Good.
And that was the kobolds. Big T, it's you and Chantel's
turn. I'd like to continue
to behead these people.
Alright.
I'm gonna go in with a glaive.
You deal
nine points of damage to a kobold, taking them out.
Tippy Cup will take a
hammer
to whom Stever dares to live
in our presence. Tippy Cup does so.
Bringing the hammer down onto
a kobold. Nope, side, side.
We're protecting the head. What? We're protecting, side, side. We're protecting the head.
What?
We're protecting the heads, Adam.
Oh, protecting the heads.
All right.
Tippy Cup, you cut a kobold's legs off.
They fall to the ground and looking down at the look up at you.
Look down, look up, look down, look up, and then run.
Nothing to say, just mouth a gape.
Chantel stepping on his neck so that she doesn't damage his head.
She starts slamming her warhammer into his legs, arms, and chest.
It's a legs-based attack for you two.
And then it is Love is Blind's turn.
He flicks his hand and a lasso made out of lightning appears.
He throws it at one of the halflings not where Chantel
and Big T are.
Critical hit!
Hey!
Detonation. All creatures within 15 feet of you,
including yourself, must make a saving...
No, that's a critical miss.
Wow! I was about to be like, what?
Blast of power. Triple damage.
Hey!
Much nicer.
Critical hit. You kill your party
You kill yourself and all your friends
The lightning lasso neatly slips around a kobold's neck
And then
Lovers blind pulls on the lightning lasso
And with a satisfying
The kobold's head
Flies clear off their shoulders
The kobold collapses.
We love that.
That's good for us.
And then it is Globble and Yayola's turn.
Oh, yeah, Globble.
You take four points of damage.
Your shield takes 20 points of damage.
Your shield is destroyed.
Cool, cool, cool, cool. Don't need that anymore, I guess. 20 points of damage your shield is destroyed cool
cool cool cool
don't need that anymore I guess
that sucks dude
that does dude
I would like to produce flame
as my action
just hold it near me
how long does it have to be held near me to kill the slime
if you just discharge the spell, that's enough.
Okay, so I'll produce flame, and then I'll hack it at a kobold.
Oh, no, no, no.
I mean, like, discharge it into the slime.
Oh.
So you, like, fire it.
It's not on me.
Yeah, because it's not actually doing damage until you throw it.
Okay.
So you just need to throw it at basically the ground with the slime.
The slime will immediately combust.
Oh, okay. Well, I'll do that. I'll produce flame and just burn that
off. You are uncomfortably hot and
maybe receive a light burn, but not
enough to deal damage. I don't like that
at all. You just immediately destroy the green slime.
How many
people are on our side that were fighting
kobolds? You and Yayola are still fighting
kobolds. You have
a great question.
There's the kobold who has all of that kit.
That one on your side is still alive.
Then one other kobold.
So I think there's two kobolds on your side and two on the other.
Okay.
I think.
It's hard to keep track.
I should have written them separately instead of in one group.
Oh, well.
Here we are now.
Yayola is going to then... Why not? I should have written them separately instead of in one group. Oh, well. Here we are now.
Yayola is going to then...
Why not?
Put a little spice on it.
Yayola can designate a new target for the hex if they want as well.
Oh, they'll move the hex over. I believe, right?
Because the current target died.
Oh, it's a concentration, yes.
The target drops to...
Yeah, yeah.
She can move it to the...
Oh, yeah.
She'll get her to move it to the... Cobbled with the kit? Cobbled with the kit drops to you. Yeah, yeah. She can move it to the... Oh, yeah. She'll get her to move it to the...
Cobbled with the kit?
Cobbled with the kit.
And then blast away.
All right.
Melgic blast.
She fires at them, hits.
This is gonna hurt, I hope, for your sake.
She does 14 points of damage.
I believe that cobbled goes down.
And then it is the kobold's turn.
They turn tail and flee.
The one kobold left on your side, Globble,
turns around and runs without anyone hassling them.
There's like just shh, shh, shh,
as they're running through the brush.
Then Chantal and Big T,
the two kobolds that you're next to,
seeing their compatriot on the other side run away.
Do you know Draconic, either of you?
No.
No.
Oh, Chantal, let's have a look.
Gungo, gungo, gungo.
Except they say it more like a gungo, gungo, gungo,
because they've got higher pitched voices.
And then they turn around and run.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, let's get them.
Then it is T and Chantel, your turn.
You can just hear shh as they rustle through the trees.
I can't chuck a...
Can I see them enough to...
They are partially obscured.
You could still make an attack if you wanted to.
Can I throw a hand axe at them, please?
Sure.
You'll need to move as well.
Oh, yeah, I'll chase them i believe
they they're moving oh no wait they have 30 feet uh yeah you need to move 30 feet and then you're
still making a disadvantage yes come back oh well in that case your uh your hand axe surprisingly strikes one of them.
Oh, wait, no.
Lightly obscured.
Sorry.
Your hand axe embeds itself in a tree.
Oh.
What if, as I'm chasing after them, the thing I say is, wait.
You don't know if they speak common, but you can call that out if you want.
Wait.
And Chantel has a light crossbow. Would you like her to fire that crossbow would you like her to fire that i would love for her to fire that she also misses unfortunately and chantelle also says wait i don't know how
chantelle speaks she speaks a bit like global yes wait that's how global sounds to me. Yeah, rude. Oh, wait.
And here I was thinking that you looked like a particular Goliath
that combed their hair.
Well, I guess I just don't anymore.
I know what combing my hair is, even though I don't have any.
No, I don't have any hair.
That would be weird.
Fish with hair?
Don't like that.
Love is blind
Looks from either side
And can tell that we're tracking
We're hunting these kobolds down
Looks to either side
Sees that one side has two kobolds
But has two people chasing after them
One side has but one kobold
But no one chasing after them
And you see the gears are turning in his head
He turns around and sprints towards the one lone kobold
He pretty handily sprints towards the one lone kobold. He pretty
handily leaps over the trap.
This second one hasn't
been triggered, but you all know there must be
a pit trap there. He
lands on the other side, and as he sprints,
you see that his feet begin to move
extra fast, and then
tiny little feathers begin to explode
out of his feet every time he takes
a step.
Yi has quite obviously cast some sort of spell upon himself.
He disappears into the brush after the one lone kobold.
Rubble and Yayola, it's your turn.
So the one lone kobold that's being chased after.
Now, there was another kobold that ran away at the start.
Where did they run towards?
They ran north. And these kobolds are going?
Two are going north, one is going south.
Right.
We can't see them?
Any kobolds right now?
You can tell where they are, but they have slight cover against you.
I can't spell.
I need to be able to see them, yeah?
No, you could cast the spell at them.
They are currently from you.
It would be 60 feet plus another 15 feet. So they would be 75 feet from you. It would be 60 feet plus another 15 feet.
So they would be 75 feet from you.
Okay.
So you just need a spell that has a range of at least 75 feet.
Okay.
Well, Eldritch Blast.
Yolanda can just cast that.
Sure.
She can change the target of her hex again as well.
Probably she does that.
She will still, yeah, they have a slight bonus to their AC because of their cover.
She still hits. She will still, yeah, they have a slight bonus to their AC because of their cover. She still hits.
She deals.
Yep, she downs another one of them.
You see like a burst of energy pass you, Big T.
It strikes one of the two kobolds that you were chasing.
You can see like it's just carved like this perfect hole through the foliage.
And you can see through that perfect hole the corpse of a cobalt and then what would you like to do global uh i would like
to uh uh let's see what ranges produce a range uh 30 feet uh i'd like to uh get a bit closer and
cast frostbite on another one of those Cobolds that I can see.
All right, they make a con saving throw, right?
Yes.
They pass, unfortunately.
That was your turn.
It's the Cobolds' turn.
They keep sprinting.
It's Big T and Chantel, your turn.
Would you like to keep trying to chase after them?
You are starting to lose them, though.
I think Chantel can still attack this this turn but i don't think you can big
team even with disadvantage i'm not sorry you won't even get disadvantage you'll just be out
of range for your hand axes well i just collect my other hand axe and chantelle can attack
tippy cup chantelle hits that's my tippy cup oh i don't think she brings them down though how much hit points oh no yeah uh my mistake
no shantel the last no sorry the second to last cobbled collapses uh and then it is lover's blind's
turn lover's blind lover's blind moved 90 feet last, but now they can move another 90 feet.
Love is Blind is easily going to catch that kobold.
Catch that kobold!
Both of you see through the dense foliage, like the sound of like a giant bug zapper just went off.
And then Love is Blind emerges from the forest carrying a kobold head.
Good work, Love.
He dumps it at your feet.
Yes, well done.
Okay, here's everyone going.
Let's collect the heads.
You can collect a total of ten kobold heads.
Good work.
Did anyone see where that other kobold, the star, ran off towards? We can
try to track, but it
might be difficult now. Yes.
I'm wondering if they're running off to
another bigger party of kobolds, or
what might be the
problems there? Lovers Blind
says, well, how many
kobold heads can we really carry?
That's a good point. How many can we carry?
I can carry lots.
Where are you carrying them?
I tie their tongues together and they go around my neck.
Gross.
You can try to do that.
With cobalt heads, is it better to boil them and just have their skulls?
Oh, that's clever.
What the fuck?
It's just skull collection isn't it yeah yeah yeah
we need their flesh
or what do we need
you're not sure I guess
yes well
how do we transport all these
does anyone have a sack
I guess we probably have a sack
right
I don't have a sack
you're bringing one
yes
you would definitely have them at camp
but did you think to grab one
what about the others?
Surely we're clever enough to bring a sack if we were collecting goblin,
you know, cobbled heads.
Well, it's just not in there.
Heyselos.
Heys.
Nice cover for all the yawn there, Cass.
No, none of the other characters thought to bring a sack.
Okay, we'll put them in our backpacks
Let's loot the kobolds, see if they've got anything we can make a...
Maybe they have a sick
And now a quick word from our sponsors

Yeah, what happened to that skunk cage?
Yeah.
If a skunk is small but-
The other one, though.
Yeah.
Well, you got a- I would say you could get a skunk cage, yeah?
How many heads does it fit?
I knew that was going to be the next question.
Maybe three.
You've got ten.
How?
What if we squish them in?
Well, if you want to really pack them in.
Yeah, like if we're packing cleverly, like, you know,
we're rolling the little tongues up and we're angling them.
And can't we, we can, what's a skunk cage man out of?
Surely, like, if it's a bit broken, we just use the broken end as the top.
I'm looking at a picture here.
Hang on, let me show you.
So that's the person that you were fighting.
That would fit.
Like at least six.
You reckon six.
Six heads into that easily.
I would have said five, but no, you're right, six.
No.
No, if you, okay, if you sort of.
If you're clever with the cobbled head and cut it neatly.
Is that what you're doing?
No, well, okay, we'll trim off excess neck.
Yeah.
Because they didn't ask for neck, they asked for head,
so we're still doing a good job.
And then all cobbled heads are sort of a bit of a backslash situation.
I will roll.
If you give
me the heads, I'll make them fit.
You'll make them fit, but will you be able to count
them at the end? Yeah, fair point.
I reckon you can get all of the material
in there. All of the
bits will go
inside. Before we do that, I would like to
loot the cobalt to see if any of them have a sack.
I can't imagine.
Oh, that would have been so funny.
And like, you ruin it.
You get nothing out of this.
Anyway, here's a giant sack.
It's bloody.
Okay, so the skunk cage, I reckon, will fit five in.
Easy.
One in each corner, one in the middle.
I think that's so reasonable because the horns can poke out of the holes which means we
don't need to account for the horns it's preposterous to think that that skull uh cage
wouldn't even fit six comfortably there's a way to stack them because again cut them in the neck
cut them in the neck properly and they're they're all on the same rough angle which means if you
stack them like i don't know like a cutlery drawer or something, like when you stack spoons up,
you can get a fair few in.
They are like, look, it's gross.
What we're doing is gross.
I'm not happy.
Yeah.
Do you know what I even reckon?
Because they have that bit of an angle to them, if you sort of angled them
so it's like snout to ears.
Oh, yeah, like little triangles.
Yeah, so they're little triangles.
So it's snout to horn. The horns can stick out triangles. Yeah, so they're little triangles. So it's snout to horn.
The horns can stick out the top because the tops have holes in them.
You could fit nine.
You could fit nine little ones.
So easy.
Alright, so the kobolds each have a dagger,
a sling, a little bag
full of rocks
for those slings,
and then two crowbars
in addition.
Okay.
No shields or a sack?
No shields.
Are they wearing clothes?
They're wearing clothes.
No, they're wearing loincloths, actually.
Show me the photo.
Well, loincloths.
I mean, if we quickly
could see them together.
Yeah.
What about this?
How much time do you have?
Fine.
I'll get some rope.
We'll suck out their eyes
and we'll just thread them all together.
Do you know what?
Put them in your backpacks. Have messy backpacks. No, I'm getting a rope. I'm thread them all together. Do you know what? Put them in your backpacks.
Have messy backpacks.
No, I'm getting a rope.
I'm sucking out their eyes.
Do you know what?
How much effort are you going through to not have a messy backpack?
Oh, my God.
How hard is it to suck out a goblin's eyes?
Cobble's eyes.
I'm so sorry.
What about, okay, if they all have a loincloth,
that loincloth can wrap the head at least to make the backpack not messy.
May I suggest.
Less messy.
We don't know if they want that, though.
Yeah, they might want the eye.
What are the eyes for?
The eyes will fall out.
I don't know why they want the heads.
That's proof, isn't it?
Yeah.
You fit them all pretty comfortably
in the skunk box.
Good.
You rolled well.
It looks pretty good.
All right, off we go.
Okay.
How's everybody going health-wise?
You good? I'd like we go. Okay. How's everybody going health-wise? You good?
I'd like some help.
Okay, well.
How are we going?
Is this the middle of the day, end of the day?
Where are we?
It'll be just after lunch.
Should we have a bit of a rest, shall we say?
And then we'll carry on?
I wouldn't mind a sit-down.
I'd have a sit-down.
Let's go.
Let's have a bit of a sit-down and then we'll go head off after lunch.
Can you roll the encounter die?
Eight.
Eight.
No, we're fine.
It's nine to 12.
All right.
Well, let's have a short rest.
Sounds like it.
All right.
And so both of you are rolling for more hit points?
Yes.
You can roll up to two dice now.
It's dice per level.
Tristan, would you like to heal one or two d12?
I'll do two.
Two?
All right.
Please.
Thank you, Adam.
You're very welcome.
You heal 18, 17 hit points.
And Globble, one or two d8?
Let's go with one d8.
Two hit points.
Bullshit.
That sucks, my dude.
Can I do another one?
No, that's another rest.
That's fair.
I'll keep going.
And Chantel is going to go 2d10.
Chantel's pretty low.
That's 14.
Love is blind.
Took no damage.
Yayola is going to only roll one.
Eight.
And then you just keep moving?
Yes.
Can I get you to roll another Encounter Jice?
Eight.
Eight.
All right.
You're fine.
So I'm finding water along the ways, right?
We're assuming so, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Aren't you, like, digging holes and shit?
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Digging holes, finding water where we can.
Okay. So you spend a finding water where we can. Okay.
So,
you spend a night here in the forest.
Who's going to take
first watch?
And how many watches
are you taking?
I'll watch first.
What?
There's five of us, yes?
Maybe five watches.
Okay.
Everyone has like
an hour and a bit
of rest, yeah.
Can you roll the
encounter die for yourself?
A two.
A two? Alright. And odds or even yourself? A two. A two?
All right.
And odds or evens?
Odds.
Odds?
Can you also roll the encounter dice?
Ten.
Ten?
All right.
Big D, you hear rustling.
Your passive perception is enough.
You can tell there are several figures following the direction that you came from.
What would you like to do?
So we're being tracked, but they're slow.
You don't know.
You can just tell that there are several figures coming from the direction that you came from.
So, like, they are following your path, but they're not necessarily tracking you.
You just know that they're following...
They're coming the same way you came.
And where... Are we, like...
I'm assuming your camp is just basically
a clearing that you found? Yeah.
A space where you can spread out and unfurl
your bedrolls without hassle.
I quickly go and wake everyone up.
Wake up, we've got to move, someone's coming.
Letting you know, if you do this, it's going to interrupt
everyone's rest. Yes.
Big T wouldn't think.
Everyone is awoken by Big T.
Someone's coming.
Should we hide?
Yes.
We go sleep somewhere else to be safe.
Everyone go back to sleep.
Are we hiding or are we just moving camp?
Both.
Go sleep in the hiding spot.
Do we know what's chasing us?
No.
I don't want to find out.
Chantel stands.
I say we fight.
Yes, if they're following us now,
they'll keep following us, yeah?
But you're sleepy?
A little bit, of course.
It's fine.
Okay, we kill them.
Look, how about this?
Everyone hide,
and we'll keep the campfire on.
Ambers.
Yes.
Love is blind nods. Some of us should stay
around the campfire and the others should
set our own little
trap. Yes, I agree.
What about this?
Chantelle and Big D,
you sit around the campfire. Perhaps one of you
pretends like you're sleeping and the three of us
will give a hide.
Did you do a good job?
Good news. Very good news.
It is. Excellent news.
Happy to get it, Adam.
As Big T and Chantel
and, sorry, Tippy Cup,
as Big T and Tippy Cup are
sitting around the campfire, you can see
slowly moving their way
through the bushes are
a bunch of kobolds. There's 13
in total. 13?!
Yeah. Adam!
It's a big encounter. Oh no. Fuck.
That's a lot of heads. I think we should all go up
the trees. You what?
Climb the trees, hide.
Gosh, you lost getting it all.
No one's letting me.
So, the kobolds are moving their way through the brush,
creeping as quietly as they can, which is not incredibly quietly.
You can see up the back of their formation,
you recognize the kobold from before.
This kobold you see now has like wings that are folded down behind them,
and they're trying to keep low even with the extra bulk. This kobold is the only one that's actually
properly dressed. Like, beyond just a loincloth, they have the
remains of a shirt on.
Are they all grouped together, clumped together? They're in kind of a V
formation. Okay. So, not necessarily very grouped
together. You could, if you struck the lead kobold, well, what's the area of effect on this?
Ah, yes, good.
It's either like a five-foot direction, or I was thinking entangling everybody, which is a 20-foot.
Well, anyway, as they get incredibly close, you, Globble, are maybe leaning up against a tree,
close you global are maybe leaning up against a tree and then you feel the tree like give way a little bit and you realize that the tree was not firmly rooted in the ground it was leaning too
hard on a embankment and you fall over hit the mud making a big loud noise you you hear Yayola, when you fall, call out.
And then combat begins.
That's fair.
Look, it was pretty funny.
I agree.
That checks out.
I wish we could have hidden the whole time and not had to deal with it.
Time to get angry, my good friend.
It's the kobolds first.
That's so many.
I know, it is.
The one up the back hisses something in garbled draconic,
and then they begin to fan out pretty, pretty spaciously.
Two of them target each of you.
So, Glovel, two slings are fired at you.
One hit.
A bullet ricochets off you, dealing three points of damage.
Yayola gets fired at twice.
Yayola is hit twice.
Yayola gets peppered and takes four, five, six, seven, eight, nine points of damage.
Big T, two attacks at you.
Oh, sorry, three attacks at you.
They're scared of you.
You're only hit once, Michael.
No, twice, sorry.
You take 12 points of damage.
No.
One smacks you in the nose, making your concave nose convex,
and the other one nearly takes out an eye.
My outie, my innie nose became an outie?
Your outie nose became an innie.
I think I might have said it the wrong way around.
Okay.
Yeah, your convex nose becomes concave.
Imagine finding out that you had a concave nose like that.
Yeah.
By taking damage like that.
Chantel to attack, to attack Chantel, two attack. Two attack Chantel.
Both miss.
Oh.
Lover's blind hasn't been seen.
Two more attack Chantel.
She's wearing heavy armor.
No.
They miss.
Yes.
And then finally, the one up the back who was barking orders.
Oof.
They fire three bolts of fiery energy one of them is directed at big t two at chantelle
big t you're struck and take four points of damage as you combust into flames oh
oh chantelle is struck once and the other ray bounces off her chantelle takes eight
points of damage oh love is blind bursts out of the forest and starts sprinting towards their
formation he leaps and lands in among them, then an explosion of
thunder emanates from him.
Ugh, a bunch of kobolds are going to need to make
a saving throw.
Fail.
Fail.
Fail.
Good job. Three kobolds take
ten points of damage and are downed.
That's good.
Then it is Big T, your turn with Chantel.
I would like to kill the remaining kobolds and take their heads.
I want to attack the ones wearing a shirt, please.
You getting mad?
You'd have to, you are too far away to attack them this round.
You could start sprinting towards them if you want.
Were I to rage, would it make a difference?
No, it wouldn't, unfortunately.
Well, I rage anyway!
You engage your rage, and then
you sprint. You could, if you wanted
to attack one of the other kobolds
on your way. I'd love to!
Eat them with my glass!
It means that you're going to be moving slightly slower, though, because you're not dashing.
That's fair.
That's acceptable. Alright.
You, unfortunately, miss. Somehow, miss a kobold. That's fair That's acceptable You unfortunately miss
Somehow miss a kobold
You swing but the kobold just like ducks
And hides into the mud
Yeah it's sad
And Chantal?
Chantal could attack with her crossbow
If she wanted to
It's not optimal though
Nah she can just warhammer whomever is closest
Chantal probably attacks the same one.
Chantel gets a natural one.
Ew. Ah.
My bad. Reroll this attack
with advantage against an ally within 5 feet
of you and the original target.
Chantel's swing
goes over the kobold's head and then
maybe nearly strikes you in the knee.
Critical hit.
I would like to reduce my damage by 1d2 plus 3 as my once per short rest plays out.
All right.
Chantal would have dealt.
My God.
My God.
Where was this critical before, Chantal?
She would have dealt 10 points of damage to you.
That would have killed me.
That would have killed me.
But instead, she deals no points of damage to you.
Great news.
That doesn't kill me, which is really...
I would say then as well that the stunning blow effect doesn't go up as well.
Even better news.
So the critical hit does nothing because you take no damage, I would say.
Great, great news.
Good to hear.
Good to hear. Good to hear.
Was there anything else, Big T and Chantal?
No, I think they've done enough.
Global and Yayola.
Right.
I'll get Yayola to hex the big creature and then Eldritch Blast.
That same one?
Yes, the winged one.
And if I was to Ice Knife the winged leader.
You would not hit anyone else.
Right.
How many kobolds?
You could get two kobolds.
Right.
I'll...
Oh, actually, no, none of them.
After that Thunderwave, none of them are close enough.
Okay, then.
In that case, I would like to...
I guess none of them in a 90-foot...
No, 20-foot sort of square to entangle.
Oh, 20-foot square?
Yes, you could get three or four.
Okay.
Four if you were willing to also grab Lover's Blind.
You know what?
No, they're not running, and I think they also have, like, slings.
So I'll just produce flame, hack it at the leader.
So you throw your ball of flames and strike the leader,
dealing five points of fire damage.
Ah, why?
You attack, you know why.
Come on.
Yeola also strikes, dealing a boosted ten points of damage.
Oh, is that enough?
No, they're still standing.
Bullshit.
the damage. Oh, is that enough?
No, they're still standing. Bullshit.
That cobbled sorcerer gets riddled
with magical energy, but is still standing.
I'd like to move behind a tree if I
can and get Yaelo to do the same.
You both try to duck behind trees
to give yourselves cover, sure. Will hiding now
in the middle of a fight be a winning strategy?
