Hey, I'm Jay Shetty, and I'm the host of the On Purpose podcast.
And I had the opportunity to talk to one of Hollywood's major icons, Michael B. Jordan.
In our conversation, Michael shares the highs, the lows, and everything in between,
offering a genuine glimpse into his world.
The closest to getting what you want is always the hardest.
People give up right before they get what they've always wanted to get.

Good morning, fake doctors,
real friends, fans,
or good afternoon, or good evening.
Hello, it's maybe late at night. You guys listen to this at all hours of the day.
As you probably have heard by now, yesterday there was an attempted coup, a mob, a tragedy in the capital of the United States.
As we are all citizens of the United States, we are struggling to process the vast amount
of information coming out at us.
And as we've done with previous tragedies, we decided that today, instead of laughing together, we're going to take a knee and think
and consider and invest in the country that we love so much.
Obviously, there's a lot for everybody to process, and we know you would prefer it if we were with
you, if we were all here together. And we do apologize.
But we are not in the mood to laugh.
We will be back on Tuesday with our regularly scheduled programming.
On Tuesday's recording, which was recorded a few days ago,
you're not going to hear us talk about this event because it hadn't occurred yet.
But it's easily one of my favorite episodes
because I think it's one of the
latest episodes where we really get to express our friendship
and our love for one another and our bond that's growing.
So we look forward to coming back to you guys on Tuesday.
But until then, we encourage you to look into your local politics,
into your local politicians, into your local community organizers,
and invest in them.
And this can be wherever you are.
It's not specifically to United States citizens,
but we are a global community now. But locally is where I believe a lot of change happens or a lot of good can happen. This can be any kind of charity. We're not going to dictate your politics to you.
But things certainly have to change.
Yeah?
Yes.
So, with that in mind, go forth.
Do good.
Hold each other.
Love each other.
Talk to each other.
Learn about why this happened and what we can do to make sure it does not happen again.
And we'll see you guys next Tuesday.
Thank you for your time.
Bye.
