Hey, Tinderful listeners.
I'm Liam Luxon, host of Status Untraced, a new podcast brought to you from the team
behind Up and Vanished.
It follows my investigation into the disappearance of Justin Alexander, a survivalist and world
traveler whose life seemed like it was torn from the pages of an adventure novel. While some of Justin's friends and family believe he may have been murdered, it's not clear what
actually happened. And a message he left behind just days before he vanished makes everything
about his disappearance just strange. Check out this clip featuring one of Justin's friends and
their recollection of their final conversation with him.
It was one thing that kind of made me feel weird about whenever he'd talk about his plans for India.
And the more I've thought about it, especially over the years, it almost seemed like he was preparing for something.
Because he wanted to be famous.
He made that openly clear, like that was his end goal.
When you hear the message Justin left behind,
when you hear about the remote and dangerous area
where he went missing,
when you learn about how the suspects
and the police's efforts in this case
all quietly started to fade away,
you won't be able to stop wondering what happened.
From Tenderfoot TV, Status Untraced is available now.
Listen for free on the iHeart Radio app or Apple Podcast.
Hey, it's Matt Frederick from iHeart Podcasts, host of Stuff They Don't Want You To Know.
I have a new show to tell you about, Ice Cold Case, from podcaster Madison McGee.
On July 11, 2002, Madison's father J.C. McGee was shot and killed in the doorway of his
home in Ohio.
For 22 years, the case remained unsolved, until his daughter Madison started asking
questions. This is the journey of a daughter searching for answers, for closure, and for justice.
And for figuring out what exactly that means as she uncovers some dark truths that have
been hidden from her.
As far as podcasts go, it doesn't get more personal than this.
Check out this trailer. Ice Cold Case is the podcast looking into the unsolved murder of J.C. McGee 21 years ago in Belmont County.
Why is she coming out of the clear blue and starting to ask questions about this? What's going on here?
It's weird. It's strange.
Yeah, I never thought of him as a suspect.
We have done nothing to cover this up.
Records were all accidentally destroyed in different ways.
I've heard a sick stuff was going on.
Point blank shot him.
There was a saying, you want to kill somebody, you're at Belmont County.
I'm just so glad that you are not scared.
It's really hard to establish any rapport at all with anybody.
Man, y'all know I didn't do this, man.
What the?

How do you solve a crime in reverse
when you believe that someone was murdered
but have no clue who the victim was.
We have to do our job and we have to find out who did they kill, if it's possible.
How are we going to do that?
