Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-knop production. Activate your internet. Because the Hamish and the podcast starts in three, two. Sorry, still buffering. One. Hello, hello, hello Still too international for my tastes Okay, I'm just trying more openness to replace good afternoon now
Starting point is 00:00:34 I'm sure that arms misslls Mike, you'd be the French I like that they do it the Olympics If you do, hello, hello, I can give you the French Okay, hello, hello, hello Push, push, push Which is no one French police been saying, we're making this get crud, burn, jubo, jubo, jubo, what have we here? That's what we're saying, you know.
Starting point is 00:00:56 We're coming, we're coming, we're coming, the bus happens to here. So, not we'll cross that one off the list. How many, how many, how many? How much of a week here?. Oh, and the Howney Howney. What a tough week. Yeah. Oh, sorry, yes, we're across the good off list. A low, a low, a low, not the new opening.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Although, would we, we've got 170 options, cycle through every language. I think it's actually 7,000 languages on earth. When we cycle through them, just doing a low, a low, a low, or a low, a low equivalent. Yeah. And I'll now cease judgment. And that can just be the opener every week.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Is a different language for you as a Bobby, which you have played before in a professional modeling capacity. Do you know that story, Jack? I didn't think so. Andy was involved in a runway show for Maya, when we were at uni. He thought he'd been given a modeling job.
Starting point is 00:01:41 And so I was pretty excited, Jack. I was like, this is my first chance to be a model. Word spread like wildfire around uni, I'm gonna be modeling now, and it's, you know, you know, Jackie, we can clear a bachelor. Oh yeah, that's what he wants to do, the baby steps was part of the campaign. And then I was about 20, and then I got there,
Starting point is 00:01:59 and it was, you just filtered back how is your modeling gig? Did you meet? Yeah. What was it, Mimi McPherson? Mimi McPherson was on the catwalk. Sarah here was there not Sarah Murdock yet I don't think. Um, anyway, 2001.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Yeah, and I get there and I was like there's all really, really hot chisel guys like oh, just straight back. And when me and the guys are like, oh, who's this nerd? Pointing at Andy. And then they show me through and like they go, I'm going past all the cool suits. Andy's like, I'm an 845 minutes to do some sit-ups. Like, they pass all these cool suits and like swimwear stuff. I'm like, oh, okay, where am I going?
Starting point is 00:02:37 I got into another room, and it was me and one other guy that was not a bottle. It's like, I knew that I was in a huge batch of people. And what we were was the scene setters. So like if they were bringing out like new winter coats, we came out dressed as bobbies. Like English bobbies. One of their themes was like London winter. And so the models got to dress in the Burberry Coast.
Starting point is 00:03:03 And Andy got to come out as a bobbie. So how many different costume changes did you do? Oh the worst one I had was. Tell them about the beach. Tell them about the beach. They were tiny. They were tiny in the cover of the piece of seaweed. It was like he was in a year, three player, a little mermaid. Oh, we don't have any roles for you.
Starting point is 00:03:21 You can be in the seaweed. They got me wrong. All the hot guys are in like the newest board shorts, right? And I had to do that. You're still jealous of their clothes, because it's like cool suits in your sports shorts. Well, just to be in perspective, I was in oversized board shorts, a Hawaiian shirt, and you know those sunglasses that are too big for you?
Starting point is 00:03:41 Like ridiculously big sunglasses. Yeah, cool models, right? I had one of those holding a giant beach pool running down to set the scene. I've never seen another modeling show. I can't really picture it. I can imagine it, but I haven't seen anything that can be done. No, I can't. When you do inventory secret, do their own show. That fat bloke come out of the manger first. What would you do in Victoria's Secret? Do their angels show that?
Starting point is 00:04:05 Fat bloke come out of the manger first. Fat bloke in a robe, and a beard, oh my God. And would you please welcome my angels? Thanks for setting the scene. We would have been confused if you didn't. Yeah, there should be more scenes. Let's get into the podcast. Yes, let's pick it up from something last weekend.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Yeah. People may remember this. Thank you to everybody, the very important, I've got to say valued and important podcasts is our VIP list. More and more people are signing up to that to be a more of a part of the show. Well, as we've evolved, member.
Starting point is 00:04:41 As we've had to say in the last couple of episodes, because we don't, we no longer have a phone line in anymore. It's not a live show, but we do have phone lines out. Yep. Many of them, and we want to put your numbers in them. On that form, there is special skills, and people have been filling that out, and we feel like, perhaps people are exaggerating or putting down skills, they're not actually equipped to pull off. Well, when we first put the thing on the form,
Starting point is 00:05:03 we just, in our mind, where we were coming from was it would be good to have a database of what people can do. So when we think of something, we go, all right, we've got a question here about BMX riding. I wonder if we're getting anyone that's listed BMX riding as their special skill. What it's evolved into, and we fully support this,
Starting point is 00:05:18 is people giving themselves quasi-superpowers, like low level X-men capabilities. Yeah. I've really listing the most phenomenal array of skills. So now, I've got a feeling that the show is going to fast become just auditing these special skills. And we tried to order one last week. It was Nico's.
Starting point is 00:05:37 He said that he could tell the time whenever, without looking at a watch. He's, he maintained that his internal body clock was minute accurate all day long He could do it within a minute. We gave him a call last week Dicke, it's Hamish from Hamish and Andy here mate. Just wondering if you can tell me without looking at your watch or your phone What the time is right now go He's so sick. Oh, it sounded like you're check Nico where are you in the world?
Starting point is 00:06:05 I'm in a pub and I was watching the basketball. I'm afraid. OK. OK. Now, we've cut that down a bit. But last week, we asked for the check. He said no. He lied first.
Starting point is 00:06:18 He lied first. And then we said, well, no, you clearly have. And that's when he admitted that he was watching off the screen. He then went on to say, look, guys, you've kind of tried to test me out of what I specifically stated, which was when I wake up in the morning, I can always guess within a minute of what time it is. So we got in contact with his wife, Tatiana. Challenge was set.
Starting point is 00:06:40 Is it all right? Let's do this. Let's, we'll allow you, we'll order you in your home ground. If he's whole thing, and a lot of, you do hear people claim this guy, if my alarm's for 650 and I wake up, I know it's 643, I just know what time it is. I was skeptical, and he said, he's had the experiment was gonna work
Starting point is 00:06:55 and double check me if I'm wrong here, and I, but we said for a half hour window before he wakes up, we'll get Tatiana to wake up first, then rouse him before his alarm goes off and film him and go, right, boom, what's the time? She sent me the video here, fantastic. I've got it for you here. This is great.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And I just want you to watch it and tell me. First of all, special skill audit, and I really hurt P. I won't come through with it. I want you to tell me whether you think. You know, we'll just give us your thoughts on watch. All right, it's forty seconds. Hey guys, we'll just give you a thought so much. All right, 40 seconds. Hey guys, I'm Teddy on. I'm Nico's wife.
Starting point is 00:07:29 My husband claims a lot of pretty ridiculous things. And one of those things is that he can wake up every morning and tell the time exactly without any sort of device. So I'm really glad that Hey Mission Annie have put them up to the challenge of proving it today Good. It is exactly 17 she wants to get in this is good great great time I'm gonna go and wake him up and see if this is true
Starting point is 00:08:00 What time is it? What time is it? What time is it? 16 What time is it? What time is it? Seven or... 16. I mean, he got pretty close. So there you go. I see, I see. I see there is a mixture of love.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Okay. And she's happy. I think she's kind of happy that she knows he's fallen out. He's climbing herself. The only thing I'm going to ask is I would love to see his clock that he's fallen out. Two minutes off. The only thing I'm going to ask is, I would love to see his clock that he's set his internal body clock off. Do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:08:30 Because she might have gone off her wristwatch and wristwatches and bedside clocks can be out. My problem is, with Subitabit has set up. Do you reckon he wasn't asleep? Well, I mean, if we just play back the bit when she goes in and get, have a listen. What time is it? What time a listen. What time is it? What time is it?
Starting point is 00:08:47 What time is it? Seven, six, 16. I mean, he got pretty close. He's not a man that was asleep. It's in acting, Andy. In the acting world. Wake up acting is some of the hardest thing to do. I don't think even decapriote could do a convincing wake up. Some actors just can't do wake up acting is some of the hardest thing to do. I don't think even decapriot could do a convincing wake up.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Some actors just can't do wake up acting. Because you don't know if you're meant to do that. Oh! You know, clean out the mouth. People, you don't know if you're meant to be shocked and blurry on. Different people wake up different ways. I think sometimes when you see someone wake up
Starting point is 00:09:21 in a way you don't wake up normally, you cry fail. So it's very hard to know. Yeah, it's hard to know if that is acting if that's he's genuine wake up People do some funny things and they wake up. Yeah, I want if I had my skeptical hat on yeah one hypothesis could be She's gone. I had 716. I'll go to the intro come in and wake you up Yeah, and it's taken a two minutes to set up the camera and two minutes as a lapse That's why he's got it wrong. This is why I- But then would she say 718 out in the lounge room? This is why I present it to you. I was like, is there a mole?
Starting point is 00:09:51 Can we trust it? I'm happy to move on a few up, but I just wanna make sure, I also don't know what the next step would be. I mean, we can't go do it again. We can't do it again, we can't say, we can't ring her up. He's in America too.
Starting point is 00:10:02 He's Aussie, but he's living in Santa Barbara or something. Yeah, Santa Monica. I mean mean we could talk to the local sheriff Or a justice of the peace or someone is let it go a private and detective I mean we do have a lot of time but our hands with that much time I would prefer to keep money in the budget for other essentials You know what let's call it, he's done it. Hey, we should remind people that we've got a bell in here that signify, I won't bring it now.
Starting point is 00:10:33 We have a hotel reception desk bill. You can't ring it because if you were to run it, we'd have to finish, we haven't done anything. We have to finish this segment. We go into the next bit because we want to keep them in to them up. But also, I should acknowledge the new blue tracksuit from you. Change it up a bit. It looked like I was fading, I was camouflaged for the first two shows
Starting point is 00:10:48 with my black tracksuit. I like the notion that we can change tracksuits in each time. Okay, good. Yes. So again, if speeder or any of the other possibly defunct tennis brands, we listed do tracksuits, we always open to you open to testing out the waters of a new track seat. Absolutely. For that podcasting. Bit of admin go on, hey, I, can we draw up on, can we make it a goal for the year on the podcast, to draw a playlist, because I don't know if anyone's ever
Starting point is 00:11:16 done this definitively of power moves. Oh, yes, okay. That's a great idea. Power moves can be, you can do, can't have them in any situation in life. I thought of one actually just as I was coming in here today that we got done to us. I got a great one done to me during the week. Well, gee, that's a power move.
Starting point is 00:11:33 Yeah. And I think we should all adopt it. We got one done to us when we went and did the today show a couple of weeks ago, two or three weeks ago. Yeah. Did you know this when we got out of of the lift the guy that was showing us into the studios because we were like crossing from Ben Fordham. Instead of just going, it's over here and guiding you with his hand. He put his hand on your shoulder and left it there
Starting point is 00:11:57 for a long time and so anyway this way. So when you walk, he just, oh yes it is, he's hand on your shoulder, he looks like he's pushed you. He looks like he looks like he's sent you on that way. Yes. The only way to fight that power move is for you to stop and go remove your hand from my shoulder. Yeah. And now I'm not controlled by you. Yeah. So it's a great power move because someone's walking that way.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Anyways, put your hand on their shoulder and you've pushed him that way. Putting people on a smaller seat, just a slightly shorter seat. That's a good power move. It's a good power move. How's this one? I was waiting to get into sort of like peak how a traffic during the week It's I was on a slipway so you kind of just trying to get on and it's all jammed up Someone very kindly
Starting point is 00:12:36 Left a spot for me to then merge into the traffic turning left merging into the traffic now instead of just going So I guess this person's gone, I'll do the right thing here, but I'm scared that leaving a spot projects a power of situation vulnerability. Yeah. I don't want to look vulnerable. I'm going to, so we can under him in their head. I'm going to be nice, but I don't want to look vulnerable. I want this person, I want this guy to know that I'm a weak. I'm a charge. So instead of, I think we'd all agree, the normal thing to do is if you're driving would be you know You may sort of a please write this way so like a waiter movement. Yeah, yeah, you're with an a palm open
Starting point is 00:13:10 Yes, after you and after you yeah Instead this guy driving pointed at me Points in point points at me to like acknowledge do we have connection? Yeah, I don't know if I nodded to go yes I've connected now proceed with the next motion points at me then points at the spot So he's going you go there directing happy he doesn't become like a police officer Yeah, he doesn't become the vulnerable person He becomes the director of the road like a quiet condo you're over there
Starting point is 00:13:43 And I like he was like a football coach and so I was left and then he knows. Yeah, because we've had a moment nine times out of ten I'm going to have to wave. So it's like thank you sir. For your bullying. You used to wave. Yeah I said thank you for that. So weak. Fliped out.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Fliped out of the bird I should have. I was so stunned by what was going on. And yeah, probably just in the moment, like I completely, he offered me. He offered dog to me. And I completely, I put my snout down and didn't make eye contact with him. I should have pointed to him and gone, stop. You stop. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:14:23 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, You go, you're stopping. You're stopping for me. I'm not going for you, you're stopping. I'm going. I'm going. Hi, I'm Ed Sheeran's in the country. Yeah, good. Doing, he's permanent. Not heaps of shows.
Starting point is 00:14:37 I think like pink's beating him for the amount of shows. He's playing for everyone, though, isn't he? But he's just playing for everyone. He's picked huge venues. Yeah. He's playing to a million people. Is he playing to a million? He's playing to a, though, isn't he? But he's just playing for everyone. He's picked huge venues. He's playing to a million people. Is he playing to a million? He's playing to a million in the straight. So one in 23 people, some people like I twice,
Starting point is 00:14:51 but I gotta see it here. That's unbelievable. So it's getting into stage oil. He's just gonna get a blimp, a glass bottomed blimp. And then it float across every city. It's be the only way you can hit the amount of people that wanna see him. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:15:03 And they tell everybody that's the cause, great. Okay, just get on get on a roof getting the street. I will be floating in a zigzag pattern He'll still charge. Oh, yeah, blims don't come We know that for a fact so we didn't get a free blimp But you probably put a number on the bottom of the blimp you can text as an honesty system. Yeah, you see the I mean, I'm not gonna put it down as one of my predictions for 2018, not an official prediction, but it's a strong hunch. Any time Ed Sheeran comes up, and he's obviously up a lot of redestroy at the moment, but comes up if his song comes on the radio, much to Jack's to smay, because we know that
Starting point is 00:15:44 Jack, if people that didn't listen to the radio show last year, Jack, Jack, Jack, Jack, I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here.
Starting point is 00:15:52 I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here.
Starting point is 00:16:00 I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you're. And I'm just going to clarify, jump in and clarify, I do like Ed Sheeran. Of course. I just felt commercial radio was abusing the amount of time that was playing his new song.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Completely understanding, when you're coming from a terrified of conflict, you'll never have it within an individual, you're just an organisation. LAUGHTER I understand. LAUGHTER Anyway, so obviously he comes up a conversation
Starting point is 00:16:23 over the last four years, and with with with since I met back Yeah, I've been with back for three years. She any time he comes up she goes oh he nearly came to my grand final party And I'm like to her grand final party. Yeah, right. I was like what Ed Sheeran did it. She's yeah Yeah, he nearly came to my grand final party. It's like This is like when Tom Cruise was out 10 years ago and everyone was was like, yeah, we've invited him to the footy. Yes, like you, he's not coming. Exactly. So I keep saying he's not gonna go, I will not go.
Starting point is 00:16:50 He just kisses everyone. Well, thank you for the invite. I'll think about it. So we're in another social situation, the weekend people are talking about how much that it's so many Ed Sheeran tickets have been sold and sure enough, back to those people, oh, Ed Sheeran nearly came to my grandfather party
Starting point is 00:17:03 and I said, you've got a stop saying that he nearly came it sounds like he was at the front door and he forgot a bottle of red and so he turned around and then ran in a picture. So he couldn't have just made the red eyes in my back. What are the circumstances? Did she invite him? Did she just know he was in the area? She said that she was friends with someone who was with him at the time and that someone was coming.
Starting point is 00:17:29 Oh, and they said, I might bring him. And they said, they might bring him. I got some bad YouTube heck. We've seen this game. So I said to Beck, you can't tell the story like this. You can't say he nearly kept. You can say Ed Sheeran was invited to my party. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Like, a friend of mine was thinking Tom Cruise had a standing invite to the football and never went. And he's got Tom Cruise and Barack Obama have a standing invite to come on this show. As always do. I mean, Tom's taken it up, which we appreciate. For us. Still waiting. And I know you're not busy.
Starting point is 00:17:56 But hey, you've got a book to write. But the whole point is she can say, our friend was with him and was thinking of bringing him. You can't say he was nearly in. You can say, for a while, I thought he might be coming to my party because that's really what has happened. I don't want to sink back hopes here in dreams, but Anna, you and I had an experience for a few years
Starting point is 00:18:17 in radio with a publicist that would often bring out large Hollywood stars. We know this, right? Like the person with the celebrity will often pretend like them and the celebrity are best friends and are making all their decisions together about where to hang out. There was the classic, hey guys,
Starting point is 00:18:33 do you wanna go to the poor run tonight? Like oh, really? Like yeah, do you wanna go to dinner with poor run? Sure. No worries, we'll see you there. Turn up, no Paul, oh sorry guys, Paul couldn't come, so I'm, yeah. Okay, okay. I think we know what's going on here.
Starting point is 00:18:47 It's wise. It's got the same guy. Same guy. And you know what, did it with Session Baron going? Really? Yeah, great. Yeah, sorry. Sorry, Session's he got some work to do.
Starting point is 00:18:56 But I'm up for a good night out. What do you guys want to go? Any made his pay for the theatre? I can't think. I know you were in the room today when we did the interview but I think we know what's going on here. So that's what these persons done to deck. I'm with Ed, we're just checking out cool places to go.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Hey, this is, I'm nervous to do this because obviously when we did the Edshire and Peep show, people may remember that where we set up a Peep show. We spent some time with Ed and at the end of that, he gave us his phone number. That's where he was like, oh, you know boys, I'm around, if you guys wanna hang out. But we're again, we were like, that's very nice of you.
Starting point is 00:19:29 But, you know, we're not gonna. No, basically. And also, he said this to us, and the net we knew the next day, he was going on a year long, I'm throwing my phone away, I'm getting off social media topic. I was thinking that at the time,
Starting point is 00:19:42 I was like, when you just on the today show this morning, the day we filmed it, he was like, I'm going to social media cleanse, a digital cleanse. And I'm going to be off. I think it was six months. So then when he was like, have my number, it's a parcel. You would say, everyone can have it. I'm probably given an out from that blimp. I've never texted him since. I view, I'm not sure. But I wonder whether we can text a lot, but I'm just, should we text him now to say, hey, we want to check something.
Starting point is 00:20:08 We want to check whether you were ever going to come to bexgram. We need the name of the person that Bex says he was hanging out with. That she was like, we need that person to be like, hey, do you know Lucy Rogers? Apologies for any real estate Rogers. Do you know Lucy Rogers? She's our text. Were you hanging out with her this? How many years ago is this? Well, I think it would have been four years ago. Should I, should I, should I, it's hard for it to be? I was looking up, I was hanging out with Lucy Rogers on the 26th of September. Should I text that first if we get a nibble, we quickly get the information about that.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I reckon you said, hey, it's Hamish and Andy here. Yep. Wanted, Clara, we, some of these come up up on the show about AFL Grand Final Day, I assume this is four years ago. Yep. Can we talk to you about it on the podcast? We're recording at the moment. Yep. Let's honestly give him 15 minutes to reply. Yep.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Because we can't wait around all day for what I'm going to rank as a very unlikely return text. Yep. I reckon what we do now is we take a break. Have a 15 minute. Hey, man, I've got this. Hey man, welcome back to ours. It's not short for us to your number.
Starting point is 00:21:09 Hey, Miss Nandy here. We've got a one-thirty-second question we'd like to ask you for the podcast. We'll now, we'll now, yes, send it. Eric and we take a break. So the listeners are going to hear five seconds. It's, it's great. It's great.
Starting point is 00:21:24 It's great. It's green. It's green. You've got us on the old PD Talks number. Yeah. I don't think he's changed to Samsung. It was... It doesn't have a deal with Apple. Yeah, I think he's definitely changed them.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Well, let's still give it 15. 15 minutes. I mean, people are only going to hear five seconds down the book, because we'll take a real life break for 15 minutes. It's not in five seconds for you, 15 minutes for us. 15 minutes passed. 15 minutes. We just decided whether we would discuss whether we should give it 16 or 17,
Starting point is 00:21:58 but no contact. Right, Andyo. Under the business. Obviously during the week, a lot of buzz about H&A coin. Our analog coin, we have launched the design, I think we put the design up on Facebook. So we call it a currency. Analog currency. Yeah, it's a currency that revolves around an analog coin. Because an analog coin based currency.
Starting point is 00:22:25 Yeah, what it is. Yeah. And if you look closely at the coin, on the back, there's a unique coin number, unique to every coin. Instructions on the back do not forge this coin. On the front, this is official H&A currency. I think we move and say maybe analog currency. Then underneath, this is where the money is.
Starting point is 00:22:42 This is the real value a bit. It says 1H&A coin equals one Bitcoin at all times. Now that, just that very fact has put us in control of north of $3 million worth of coin. Of HHK1, yeah. Well of HHK1, but because one coin equals one Bitcoin, yeah, we rich, which is really a really fun feeling. But we're not gonna sit on it ourselves.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Obviously we're gonna distribute it out to the people. We minted 101 coin coins and 28 coin coins. Of which you would have won each. We, the only coins that have been distributed in principle thus far are two hours. I know it looks a little corrupt. Are two hours the heads of the reserve bank? We'll take one, I suppose.
Starting point is 00:23:24 It's like going down to the mint and just going, Jesus, a lot of money being printed off. Might take a few bags. I'm like, it's like a chisel, fresh off the factory floor. They do say it's the best. Yes. Not the floor, but off the conveyor belt.
Starting point is 00:23:35 I'm like, yeah, I know the factory floor is. Yeah, the factory line. Yes. The production line, they do say it's the best thing you'll ever taste. A hot chisel or a hot twisty. Do they make them in Australia? Yes, it makes the twisty. That's who told us when we did the gravy chip.
Starting point is 00:23:48 We should head out to the... Since South Australia, the twisty factory, I looked into it. We could find some time to get across there and taste a fresh cheese or fresh... I was going to take it out there for your Bucks party. Then you can have that girl in Russia. She was a bucks, she was fricking you. I know we don't talk about that. The girl's going to marry you, yeah. But that's what I was going do to you, Vux.
Starting point is 00:24:06 What? Tell you the twisty factor. All right, all right. But then it was so... Still he still goes. But then when we found out Olga was like, Oh, right, okay. But she didn't really need all that money.
Starting point is 00:24:15 For medical stuff. But you know, but that's, we're gonna, let's go one day as an excursion for the show. That'd be twisty factor, I loved it. Back to age and A coin. You and I have got the reason we minted the A coin coin was because Jack at one stage in his life had seven bit coins and we wanted to have more than he ever had and lauded over him.
Starting point is 00:24:36 And I'm enjoying that. I know the question that everyone's lips is, okay, you bought these in January, you ordered these in January. I have spent very, very little money, only $1,000. And now we have over $3 million worth of coin. Are they here yet? Well, obviously things take time. I mean, they're being minted.
Starting point is 00:24:53 The unique coin numbers being cross-reference checked. Make sure there's no double-ups. From what I understand, from the guys minting them, they're still on their way, which I think we all agree is a very acceptable delay. And no one's upset about that. One thing caught me off guard though. Have I, did you guys get any weird calls throughout the week?
Starting point is 00:25:10 No. You didn't know what, no one, no one buzzed you? No. I got a really weird call. And I wasn't going to answer, because you know, I don't really answer private number. It's always a bit suspicious and I know number. Something, I must have been feeling generous or I had a bit of time. It was something came over me and I thought I would,
Starting point is 00:25:26 I thought I would answer. Got a super, did you get a weird call, Jack? Yeah, we both didn't have a weird call. Cause it's about, it's to do with Bitcoin. I know, Jack's a bit of a Bitcoin. Yeah, well, Jack's a bit of a Bitcoin weasel cause he bought them behind our back. He did.
Starting point is 00:25:40 He bought these seven behind our back. But that's what I thought you might have got a call. I didn't get a call this week. Interesting. I did, listen to this. I was't get a call this week. Interesting. I did. Listen to this. I was able to quickly record it off my phone. Hello?
Starting point is 00:25:52 Yes, this is the inventor of Bitcoin. Well, what, the real inventor? Yes. How did you get my number? Man, I invented Bitcoin, so I can buy anything from the dark web. Oh, the dark web, I have heard of that. Okay, I believe you.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Why are you calling me? Because I also see that you have created H&A coin that is worth one Bitcoin. You are very clever. Oh, thank you. It's sort of a show thing now, it's a whole team effort, but yes, we've got analog coins that are worth one Bitcoin. Why, thank you. It's sort of a show thing now to hold team effort, but yes, we've got analogue coins that are worth one Bitcoin. Why, you want one? Yes, I'm very interested.
Starting point is 00:26:31 I have all my money bloody tied up in the Bitcoin. I want to trade for H&A coin. Okay, well, just like everyone else, shoot us an email and we'll sort of assess on a need by need basis, but just asking for and usually isn't the way to get an H and A coin. You are wise and fair. Take it, the H and A coin is not in your possession yet. Yeah, still waiting on some production delays unfortunately, but you know, be here very soon, so no worries there. Everyone's very happy to wait. Yes, it took me a very long time to make Bitcoin too, so I understand.
Starting point is 00:27:06 Cool. Also, one more thing, cackling jack. They Bitcoin, he thinks he owns, say a fake. But don't tell him, I sometimes put fakeies out there just to keep weasels on their toes. Ha ha ha, good one, I won't tell him. Good, don't do later.
Starting point is 00:27:24 Yeah, bye. And I never, you never know when he'll call. And I've never never ever known for anything. Is he from again? No one knows. No one knows. No one knows. He's been to change.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Maybe that's some sort of scrambler he has on his voice, because he can't let his identity be known. Definitely detected some Italian. Ando, something else we got to quickly touch on for. Because he can't let his identity be known. Definitely detected some Italian. LAUGHTER And so, something else we got to quickly touch on from last week was we talked about the song Get A Haircut Get A Real Job. Yes. We struggled for a grab last week. We didn't plan ahead. Let's have a listen to it. Get a real time, clean your act of the dopey of slime.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Get it together like your big brother Bob. Yeah. Get it together like your big brother Bob was the part that we liked. We liked and now that was it. That's a song from a long time ago. It was by a guy called George Thurgood's. Yeah. And I think it's just Thurgood.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Yeah, yeah, singular. Just like a company that he came from Georgia's Thoreagus. Yeah, Georgia's Thoreagus. He rocks down. We heard that as kids. That refrain got stuck in the head. Now, we were talking about it last week, show wondering, are there real life George Bob combos?
Starting point is 00:28:41 Where Georgia's younger brother, Bob, is the older ideal ideal and he has a nice haircut and a nice job. We guess that he's parents the one saying get a haircut, get a real job. That's very sung from the parents perspective. Yeah, clean your act up like you'd be brother Bob. So we said, look, anyone get any real life George Bob combos? Yeah. Because I, we were sort of saying, I bet in real life, George Trumpton. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:04 In the end, George is now a soup star. the end, you think Bob, you think Bob, he's gonna be, you know, you think Bob's got it together with his 20s. Oh, he's, you know, he's got a degree, he's a lawyer. And a haircut. Just a haircut. Just a haircut, because the world favors sometimes the George's of this world.
Starting point is 00:29:19 They're the Steve Jobs's. Got a great one here from Dan. He goes, yes, I'm a, I'm part of a Bob and George combo. I am the older brother who got all the awards all through school. So he's the Bob. Okay. Um, he got a science and an actuarial degree at uni of high-cost stats. Um, he's now working as a business analyst. Well, so the parents would be like, oh, look at Dan. What a Bob. Growing up, his little brother was a nightmare. Um, he, he, it says here at ODD,
Starting point is 00:29:49 which I suppose it could be a cousin of ADD or possibly a typo. Yeah. But either way, he said, look, you know, you couldn't get him to do anything, you could drop out of school, grew a rank, mower, started sleeping 24 hours a day. So you can hibernate, right?
Starting point is 00:30:01 Yeah, right. So the hard day of ADD as well as hibernate, there must have been restlessly sleeping. Yep. Going to bed later and later and then he, you know, he became can have an A.D. as well as the A.D. as well as the A.D. as well. There must have been restlessly sleeping. Yeah. Going a bed later and later and then he became nocturnal. He needed to get a haircut and a real job and needed to get a big mullet. He needed to clean his act up like Dan, slash Bob, his big brother. He went on eventually much later to go to uni and learn about software.
Starting point is 00:30:21 Then now he's the lead developer of quote, the course video game he'd brother Dan has ever played. What's that? Well, I don't know, I don't know what the game is because he's the lead developer of the coolest video game I've ever played. I think it's Annie's a top bloke as well. So again, he leap from him. Started off as a George. Yes. Had a Bob crushing him and sucking up all the parents of respect. Yeah. Now the younger George has created a great video. For your early game. Got a lot of emails as well on a similar topic. I've never listened to the whole song.
Starting point is 00:30:52 Have you, could you honestly say, you've listened to the whole song? Tens out this idea is sort of addressed in the song. All right, the last verse goes, I hit the big time with my rock and roll band, the future's bright and the other night I've ever planned. I'm 10 times richer than my big brother Bob, but he got a haircut, he got a real job. So George knows.
Starting point is 00:31:11 A lot of people pointed out to us, if you keep listening, you know, this whole thing of us going last week. I bet I bet George ended up doing better. You just have to listen to the end of the song. It's the point of the song. I mean, it was released in 1977. So it's in a song where this individual might be kind of his the point of the song. But I think in a way, reinforces what we were saying. Yeah, it's in George U, we knew, and we got a real George.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Got a lot of George Bob Combo's. Did Mackelver buy that moment? I mean, I haven't listened to the whole thing. I didn't get to the end. He gets it. He gets it straight away. Hey, in radio as well as the podcast, we've noticed that you have to know how to lip-read because the sound booths here that we record the show in the studio, they sound proof. Yeah. And our producers often sit outside behind, look look two pains of glass that's vacuum sealed
Starting point is 00:32:06 So they're often me saying to you wrap it up. Oh, this sounds good. Keep this up Wrap it up. I think you long when I'm talking about maybe H&A coin that I often lipread everyone yelling acceptable delays And stuff like you know, they'll get here when they get here and we're not waiting at all and in radio days It was you've read the sponsor's name incorrectly or something like that. And there's a regular kind of, it's KFC, not JFC, sorry. There was a theme to their kind of things that they'd be telling us. Yeah. So you could basically know what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:32:37 But if they said anything that was completely out of context, you couldn't quite liberate it. Yes, something like, you know, if they, if they perhaps were just having a chat amongst themselves, because quite often they were doing about what they're doing on the weekend or what they're gonna have for dinner, very hard to lip read. And you and I would try and guess what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:32:52 We thought we'd turn that into a game today where we're gonna send Jack outside. He's gonna say three phrases to us. Through two pains of glass. The podcast listeners will be able to hear Jack's phrases. We will not giving them an informational advantage over us and a power move, a position of power. And Jack, you then will have a guess.
Starting point is 00:33:15 Each, you award who you think was the closest. And the only thing I have to do is make sure it's out of context. So it's not about the podcast, it's not about the podcast, or about microphones or buttons. To your two jobs, I guess. All right, don't panic, don't go. Man, what a nice, shiny bell I've been pressing today. Jack, far off the opener, head outside. Then I watched his face, Head outside
Starting point is 00:34:03 Okay, Jack, where Jack says it. Can you hear me? Jack is outside. We can't hear him. we can't hear him. Okay, okay, we could be able to hear him yet, okay. Would this be his feeding down? Is it confusing? Yeah, it's good, let's get rid of it actually. I'm glad it's going. Yeah. All right, we're giving Jack the thumbs up. First prize.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I did not a chat. Oh, he's stopped after I told you he's coming. I missedpoke, I missedpoke. He's panicked. He's panicked. He's panicked. Okay, okay. All right, calm it down. We're getting the thumbs up from Jack. I would have thought that this would be such a difficult game to blow off. And Jack, all you have to do is say it.
Starting point is 00:34:38 Say it in English. Just in English. English. So I guess our listeners would have heard the misfire. Yeah, they would have heard the... but yeah, they will not wait I guess I miss pronounced a word Okay, here you go. He's giving us a thumbs up and high eyebrows. I did not attend church as a child Okay, I've got something Certainly mind certainly out of context. Okay, you go first, Hamish. I did not kick an urchin or a child.
Starting point is 00:35:08 I thought you said I did not say Ed Sheeran couldn't drive. I'll have to give it to Hamish. I did not attend church as a child. So child was in there. I'm not kicking an urchin or a child. You got the chit. You got the chit. You got the chit. I got the chit.
Starting point is 00:35:27 All right, round one to Hamish. OK, well thanks, Jack. Damn it. And well done now in a two tending church regularly, isn't that all? So we both got I did not, didn't we? Yeah. OK.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Well, he's also enunciating a lot more of the training. Yeah, OK. I hope you go, Jack. I am stronger than this time last year. Okay. I think I'm making my way back in the studio to see the guesses. I think you said you got what's in here. I am slightly smaller than this time last year.
Starting point is 00:36:03 Good guess. I'm so glad that it's fine to lear. I'm going to have to award to Andy very close. I am stronger than this time last year. And it's not fine to lear. OK, OK, I'm glad. OK, OK. I'm glad that I was wrong, but you thought it was so.
Starting point is 00:36:23 You're so glad that it's fine to leave last one last one Who would have thought it'd be locked at one of these hands? Okay, I Miss the sandy beaches of bar and bay I Think I heard it I hear I heard that one through the door. Maybe you can hear me through the glass. I think so. I miss the sandy beach to the bar and bay.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Probably yes, the only thing I can do. I'll give you two or one more and one more. It will be almost a whisper. Even through more glass. Go over the other studio. Oh, okay. This has just become a fun way for us to pretend we're liberators. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:37:10 It's okay. Now he's in his mouth. Yeah. I can't actually see him. All right, can you both see me? Okay, thumbs up. Thumbs up. $100 is a lot of money.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Now I actually wrote down my first few phrases and that one I had to come up with on the spot. So it's not as good. I'm making my way into the studio. Do you want to go first, have one with me? Like, okay, so I reckon I picked up some words. Yes, so the way this is usually working, and I'm just kind of, you have to put other bits in
Starting point is 00:37:49 to make it make sense, you know what I mean? Like I've got keywords, but I think I got, in 100 seconds, I'll steal a beanie. Right, that can't be interesting. I said, I thought you said, when I had a seizure, I was faking. No. You know, if you wasn't in, I'm not saying
Starting point is 00:38:03 you'd please call an ambulance. No, I said, No. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not.
Starting point is 00:38:12 You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not.
Starting point is 00:38:20 You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. Good bye. Which is really my favorite. That last bit hit the bell and you can't talk after the bell. But that is it for the show.
Starting point is 00:38:38 So we're doing that. You know this is exactly like where you've been talking to like some of the ages on the phone or your mom or something and it's breaking up. But you were just saying goodbye. And you can actually legitimately get a good buy and you have to call back for say goodbye and you get roped in. Because we turned in and asked those day and you were out. You got away safely.
Starting point is 00:38:58 You've done a really great call and if it wasn't for that drop out bit between the bridge and where your house is, you would've got to lie with it. Couple of bits of housekeeping here, and people, if they wanted to hear any of the past shows, I've got a Hamish Nadi app. Some people wrote in about that. I think it's like a subscription-based, it's not a lot of money, like three bucks for like half a year
Starting point is 00:39:18 or something or six bucks for the whole year. You can listen to any show we've ever done. It's been money that you'll spend that on candy crush. Although, look, you know, someone's got to buy a free life for one of the extra jelly's I understand, and I've been in a problem. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:31 These episodes are also up there, but they are for free up there. Always for free. If you are getting this podcast from a service that charges you, you are being pleased. My friend, please don't say. Pete should also point out the dollar offer stands.
Starting point is 00:39:45 Yeah, if you see us in the, this is Australian dollars. Australian dollars, I don't think we've mentioned it this year on the podcast, but if you aren't you to this podcast, it's a tradition. It's always been a tradition of this podcast. If you see us in the flesh in real life, you get a dollar. If you see Jack, you get $2 cash, although now Jack, if you have your bank details on you,
Starting point is 00:40:06 because Jack lambs these cashless, if you have your bank details on you, Jack has to transfer you to. I think the latest one was if you have a reader that can do a pay-par, a tap-and-pap. I'll pay, I'll tap. I would never agree to that, because that's who's got a reader.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Yeah, that we hear. Let's talk about myself. I think we said people have that. We said, but we said, but the business card made up for Jack posts. Like, I said, you're name on it with their bank details. And then you have to transfer the money from your account. That's in $10.
Starting point is 00:40:29 It's hard as a pay pass rate. So you allow that? I'll allow that, but I'm out. I'm cashless now, so I can't. You've got your phone. I can't, I know, but I can't give $2 out. Okay. That's why the 10.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Yep. You never did. You never did. Your life was filled with loopholes and excuses around why you didn't have to give $2. That's why we've upped it to 10 and I pray everyone, it's really simple. Just go home right on a business card. For Jack, your BSB, your account number. It's easily accessible from your phone and then you get 10 bucks.
Starting point is 00:40:55 You've got to be printed out. I don't. If it's handwritten, then you could have seen me and a cafe going, grab it now. No handwritten's fun. No, okay. I'll get it printed out. The loopholes continue. We'll see you fun. No, okay, print it out. We'll see you next week. We'll see you next week.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Lysna
