Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-knop production. Activate your internet. Cause the Hamish and the Podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. One. Oh, what are you, him? Oh, hey, boy. Oh, hey, boy. Oh, hey, do you, Jack? Oh, hey, and a special Ohoy to Logan, who has sent in what he's up to. Hats off Logan.
Starting point is 00:00:32 Uh, a true trooper. Yeah. Someone that's put in a good two hours. No, it's a browsing for file. It was easy to do at the Hamish Nandy website. I'll check out Logan and I'll ask him and And I am pretty sure he'll still be asleep. This is what he's up to today. Hoi, Hey Mishnadi and Jack.
Starting point is 00:00:50 I'm Logan from New Zealand. And today I am mowing some lawns. I hope this goes through. I've tried about five times now. Really would be easier if there was a WhatsApp. It would be. But cheers guys. Have a good show. Yeah, he got through would be. But, um, cheers guys. Have a good show.
Starting point is 00:01:05 So, yeah, he got through the mix. I'm a good eye here, your brother. I am working my ass off over here trying to convince any to change the system. But you can tell with it. The multi-layered 10-stage process remains. We really appreciate everyone that the final scraps of a percentage that make it through to the end
Starting point is 00:01:23 and are able to upload their file. We really do appreciate it. Cryptic 2, mowing some lawns, are they his lawns? Do the people know that he's mowing them? Yeah, he could be a lawn fairy. A lawn Samaritan that goes around and just you wake up and with perfect edging. A lot of the lawners visited through the night. Hey, I need to kick into this.
Starting point is 00:01:45 It was discussed last week on the show. Yeah, yeah. That wasn't last week, it was the week before. I don't know the week before. Okay, okay. I think even a previous week before that, I think we're going back three episodes. Okay, okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:57 Well, here we are, catching up. As we always do on the Amishandee podcast, getting you to business. You brought up a fellow called Michael. Yeah, Michael Wilson who said He can build anything for my care. Yeah better than anyone better than anyone and then Look if I remember correctly It was a discussion in here. It was a line ball over whether or not. This was a fascinating fact I knew bringing it up. We've all been it's's got pros and cons, we've all tried to assemble
Starting point is 00:02:27 stuff for my care. This is a part of his email that you're filling your side but it's in the court out, court out. I mean, he likes doing it, he volunteers for mates. Never tried, but I reckon I could build something without instructions as long as I had a photo of the thing. Now that, that's what I thought you guys and that seemed to tip you over the edge.
Starting point is 00:02:44 And look, I understand the two in the following. I've read what needs to happen for this to be exciting. And if I remember correctly, the rules were set at Michael would build against a control subject. Yes. Ben Jack, Kathleen Jack, our best builder. Our best builder house. Well, actually, I should be perfectly neutral. I'm not the best IKEA builder, but I'm not the worst.
Starting point is 00:03:03 I'm somebody that... We're seeing you now, so you're not the best builder. But as I'm not the worst. I'm somebody that, we're seeing you house. You're not the best. But as you send to the inspectors when they came over, look, it's not the best, but it's not the worst. And they said, that's what we go for. Stand. We appreciate honesty. So yeah, Jack's our perfect control. Perfect control. So he knows his way around at all. Yep, but he's not a tradey. I'm going to take this in there too. We mentioned, you know, Jack wins. What does he get? I haven't discussed this with you guys.
Starting point is 00:03:32 You get the drum still. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. I know. I know. Free of charge. A compliment from that.
Starting point is 00:03:40 That's the kind of thing you save for the interview show. I know. I know. Now I'm going we have to give away a car. So Jack currently has rented my drum kit, but wouldn't rent the stool. He didn't take the stool baggage. He took the sticks. It took the sticks baggage, but not the stool baggage.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I'm willing to throw in for the duration of the rental, complimentary stool rental. Oh, that'd be amazing. I haven't been playing. I know. And I know why. Because it's too annoying to go and get the kitchen chair and take it to the electronic drum kit.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Oh, Jack, do you once assembled, would you want the desk? Is that what we're, I didn't know what we were assembling? Oh, sorry, yeah, well, it's not giving you anything, but we picked out a desk. Sure. Sure, it's big. Can I choose post assembly? Yeah, that's fine as well I'd recommend keeping that up asleep
Starting point is 00:04:29 Okay, let's get Michael in here He's on the couch outside big, big, exciting Michael coming in areas Mike chief. He looks like he could build something here Hey nice to meet you, Vy. Hop these headphones on You're standing if that's all right And Awesome Hello Michael. Hi Jack. Michael, fantastic stuff. Thanks for coming in. You're a little nervous. A little bit. What do you love about IKEA
Starting point is 00:04:54 assembly? Is it how neatly it goes together? I was always a Lego kid growing out. Great. And try to play a little Lego Master Season 2 starting next year. Top night. Good to know. And I guess it's just like big kid Lego yeah right big boy Lego exactly maybe that's why I'm so bad at this because I even on Lego masters I struggle with the Lego and I'm maybe I'm not ready for big boy Lego because I always you know the little wooden pegs on the arcade stuff the dowelsels, I snap them. And once you snap one, that's game over, because they get stuck in there. Yes, you do know one thing.
Starting point is 00:05:29 You drill it out. You just, that would be your way. I have to get you over for that. Okay, Michael, you don't get the instructions today. Do you accept that challenge? I do. We have set up. I'm going to give you an eight coin coin,
Starting point is 00:05:43 and I think Hayne would back that. I'll give you one as well Yeah If you can construct this for that instruction because I originally last week was going or a few weeks back going I think I could do that having seen the instruction manual now okay 30 pages. It's the mecha. It's familiar with the mecha. I absolutely no I So, are you familiar with the Mi-K? Absolutely. Really? No. Um, uh, I, here's a couple of rules. We've got a room for you and room for Jack.
Starting point is 00:06:10 So you won't be able to see each other and how you're going. Every, it has to be assembled properly, okay? Well, I mean that. I would have a, Michael just smirked there and then kind of scoffed, it was a bit worried. Well, you hoping it didn't have to be a sample property.
Starting point is 00:06:28 I think I could have made all the pieces stick together in one bit, but if it has to look like a desk that does make it more difficult. Well, you're just going to clump it together. I thought I'd found a loophole in the system. No, no, no, no, no, you've got to make it to this. I... Mark's coming just thinking you can gaffer it all together.
Starting point is 00:06:44 There she is. No, you've got to make it into a desk. And you should gaffer it all together. There she is. No, you've got to make it into a desk. You should just buy a picture of the thing. Yep. Is that good enough? Obviously, at the front of a manual, you get the picture. Can we just give you the front cover of the picture? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:57 OK. Who's having with that? And we will check in with you guys periodically. Yeah. Now, here's the tricky thing. I obviously, to see you execute this well would be wonderful. It would be a spectacle. Yet, we are a bit conflicted because I also find myself cheering for Jack because he's
Starting point is 00:07:19 the every man. He's in there. He's doing his best to beat you, who is the master. Do you okay with the fact we will be cheering for both? As long as it's even. Yeah, okay. Could I put this out now that I've got all the information? If Jack beats you You won't you won't get anything. Would you like to continue your build for a one coin coin? It means you
Starting point is 00:07:46 can take five hours. Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so once it's over the jack, we can leave you to it. Yeah, because I think I said to Hayme earlier that I was like, no, once it's over it's over, but now looking at this. Just to see a man complete the mecha with out instructions would be incredible yeah I think it would be but do we have to if he goes four hours no we go to the pub yes we're not gonna watch we're not gonna watch I know we said we go to the pub today Jack and that stands I see I know what you're asking about Jack was worried that our agreed pub lunches in jeopardy.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Is it okay if we go to the pub and we just call back to over here to the studio and make sure you're going well? Yeah. Okay, thanks. I think I'll be finished. Michael. Anyway, so it won't matter. Oh, there we go. Hey, Michael, has there ever been a sign from above that, I mean, it's the Mikae. Oh, yeah. And your Mikae. That should be your new nickname if you get this. It'll catch on.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Yeah. Go to parties and go hire Michael, but people call me Mi-Kay and people go, oh, is that after the adjustable side desk from Ike. Yeah, it is. I built it with that instructions. Oh, gosh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:58 You can have any of my beers from the years. That sounds a bit tree-kay. Okay. Okay. The next thing everyone will hear is that we'll be picking up the action with both contestants outside of their doors, perspective doors, depending on the rooms to try and build this IKEA mecha desk. Let's have a good clean fight, guys. We are in the builder arena.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Okay. Michael, you're assessing all the pieces. You stand in front of a disembled Mi-K. How are you feeling? It's a lot of pieces, but I think I can do it. Already I can see your brain scanning, working, and going. Can that's the top bit. Here's my question for you, and I don't know the answer to this.
Starting point is 00:09:44 You can see here there's the two runners for the draw. And there's a silver like, line next to it. What is that? What would that be? You're looking at that. I actually know what that's for. What is it? So it goes underneath the draw.
Starting point is 00:09:54 Yeah, to reinforce. To hold it all in place. Yeah, it's right. So you build, this is what I was hoping for. You build so much Ikea. You're already spotting familiar patterns and familiar bits. That is what will give you the edge. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Now, have you done it before? Have you built something instructional? Yes. It wasn't quite as complicated as the desk. It was more or less a box, but I did build it without instructions. How did it feel afterwards? Pretty empowering. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:19 We contemplated that. We contemplated just a little... I've ever been inside a table and I thought, it's going to be too easy. This is the big legs. It's the big legs. It's the big legs. The Mickey is unassembled.
Starting point is 00:10:31 The Michael is fully assembled and looks raring to go. It looks raring to go. You're fully focused. You're watching, which I'm really impressed by. Do you sweat and get frustrated when you build? I'm glad it's a big room. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:44 It's gonna be an experience. Because I get, like the last time I tried to flat pack something I ended up in my underpants, the rubber gloves, like, because I was sweating so much. And the screw drive was just hurting my hands much. I had rubber gloves on underpants, just screaming at the world. Like, I'm breaking it.
Starting point is 00:10:59 And you've come just very nice smart casual. I think it describes me, pre-accurately. All right, mate. All right, I'm gonna leave the picture there. Have the picture you have now in the picture. You've got the front and the back. Michael, good luck, thanks boys. Jack. Hey, what's...
Starting point is 00:11:18 You've got your runners here, your hinges for the draw. What's this picture I can... Oh, that looks like... I don't know, I'll trick the instructions. That's perfect. You know, I'll pass by a new straightaway. That is exactly tells you where these two then are Jackson instructions for it. Who is it? Who is it?
Starting point is 00:11:36 Jacko. Here's the Mika instruction. Yeah, Jack, you've got to be the faithful. I don't know. There's over 200 pieces. Yeah. Just in the screws and stuff alone. Yeah. I reckon slow and steady is my game plan. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Slow and smooth and smooth as fast. Yeah, exactly. Is that a golfing thing? It's actually from a Navy SEALS series that I'm watching at the moment. If it works in clearing a room in Jalalabad, it works for building an idea desk in Melbourne. Jack, good luck all the best. Michael, are you ready? Yes. Jack, are you ready? Yes. Three, two, one, build! It's been 25 minutes. You wait to check in with Jack. Jack, oh he's operation slow and steady. How you going? Yes, good. It's a in with Jack. Jack, oh he's operation slow and steady. How you going?
Starting point is 00:12:25 Yes, good. It's warm, it's really like me. It's really so warm. It's hanging in your shoes off. I was so warm. Can I ask two favours, can you find the lowest setting on whatever the central aircon is and a glass water? Of course.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I've been realizing it's been endurance challenge. I know that you need a convention, you are allowed to vote those things. It is so hot. Now, why are the runners going that way on the desk? No, there's two drawers. You know what? I don't think he can possibly do it. Look at one of these runners, right?
Starting point is 00:12:54 And this is all the way through. There's like four or five holes on them, and you only need two holes to screw in. So every step of the way, there's like seven options, and he won't know, and he won't know which one to take. I don't think I mean, I'll be amazed if it comes out like the picture. I made so a lie. As soon as I saw the fact that the manual was 30 pages long, I was worried if I'm... But he's done the draw there, huh?
Starting point is 00:13:16 Okay, you've done a draw down. Yeah, but I'm the guy with instructions. That's right. I'm in aircon. Come in. That's right. That's right. I mean, what's that? And aircon coming. Jeez. Okay, Jack, I mean, he's doing a body good job. I mean, he's doing what he promised.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Yes, I'm steady. Should we go and see how Michael's going? Michael, not Michael. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Michael. Michael, you're moving? I mean, further along than I thought you'd be Mike.
Starting point is 00:13:42 Talk us through what your four process is at the moment, because I suppose you're asking it to talk to you. What's it saying to you at the moment? Well, first thing I did was make the drawers. Oh, he's already done his drawers. I've done both drawers. I'm gonna say he's ahead of Jack. No, I'm gonna say we didn't tell Jack where he up to
Starting point is 00:13:58 because we didn't know, but I think you are allowed to know your, I would say at nose in front. Half a body length in front. Okay. Of Jack, it's a long race, it's the Melbourne in front. Half a body length in front. Okay. Of Jack, it's a long race, it's the Melbourne Cup, so half a body length can be made up, but you are leading.
Starting point is 00:14:10 I would say, there is a reason it comes with instructions. I do. Definitely. Oh, you've done a lot of sorting of the screws on the side, but it's coming along. What's the biggest mystery at the moment? I definitely have made a mistake. This piece probably shouldn't do that.
Starting point is 00:14:26 It does spin though. Swivel doesn't it in most of the... But I think you'll be able to hide that from us later on. I'm going to just slightly change the criteria. If we come in here we go, That looks right. And functionally. Functionally, yep seems to be the desk.
Starting point is 00:14:42 That's the spirit of IKEA. It is in the spirit of the Swedes. Everybody's always got one piece left, and go, that'll do. That'll do. That is right. How long do you reckon you've got? I'll be done within an hour, I'd like to think. I would agree. Good luck, buddy.
Starting point is 00:14:58 It has been a one hour. Okay, one hour. Oh, Jacko. I would say you leap looks like you are 80% complete. Yeah, not too far. The draw was tricky and I got a second draw. And then this piece, for example, I can't really fit him in. So I'm trying to figure out where he goes,
Starting point is 00:15:18 but besides that, don't these instructions tell you? I know, but doesn't that to you look like that? Like, yeah. One's a bit longer. But what I'd say, Jack, is the spirit of IKEA is you can have a few pieces of this. Yeah. You agree the spirit is you can have a few left over.
Starting point is 00:15:36 What do you feel like every time you do one of these, there's a point you reach where you go, they've done something wrong, they've put in the wrong stuff. And then you look at it again, you're like, oh, OK, they did put in the right stuff. Every single time. at it again, you're like, oh, okay, they did put in the right stuff every single time. Every single time, even with Lego, where I go, that's it. They say one and a million are wrong, but they've done it wrong, they've included it,
Starting point is 00:15:52 and then I'd start writing a letter. I don't know how to make it. I don't know how it is. We need to then say to Jack that we're going to afford Mike the same spirit of some pieces just might and work. I think so, I reckon,'s like if he puts a hinge on with the wrong screw, I think if it's still working, give him the wind, I'll be so surprised if he's ahead of me.
Starting point is 00:16:11 I'll just be so surprised because every turn, there's something that you can get wrong. You're at page 21 of 39 in the instructions. So let's call it exactly halfway. Okay. But you could come at home really strongly. You've got one. He looks much further along. And it's starting to exactly halfway. Okay. But you could come at home really strongly. You still got one. You look much further along.
Starting point is 00:16:26 Three, four, five, six. And it's starting to look like a desk. I absolutely, oh, on that, where you're via vibing, whether you're gonna take a home or not, I think I'll donate it to anyone else. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Send the man who didn't want the desk
Starting point is 00:16:42 under any circumstances. On your belt Jack's Jack's doing body well Really very excited to see what's behind the stores we go and to check Mike. Okay, here we go Mike no dog. Oh my god. Oh my god Mike you nearly finished you've got one bit left. And do you think we just broke that, where it goes? It just broke that, where it goes. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:17:10 What is it going? What do you reckon, what do you reckon Jack's doing next door? I'd like to think less than me. Well, we can't say, but Helen's a little take you. Maybe 10 minutes. Oh my god. We're back in Tim, good luck. Cheers.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Oh, oh, Jesus. Fucking built us. He's gone, he's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone.
Starting point is 00:17:32 He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone.
Starting point is 00:17:40 He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He's gone. He fucking killed the whole fucking me. He needs... You just need anything. We are... What's he just got?
Starting point is 00:17:47 Yeah. I mean, I mean... Shock and awe. All right. I'm not sure how you reacted. I thought you swear was my subbed also. That's incredible. Poor Jack is in that other room.
Starting point is 00:17:59 He's anyhow behind. I've really been going for it out. LAUGHTER I mean... But also... Jack represents every man here. He's anyhow behind. I've really been going for it out. LAUGHTER I mean... But also, Jack represents every man here. I couldn't have done it. I wouldn't have got the stick. I actually think Jack's going better than most people. Yeah. I'm going to put that out there.
Starting point is 00:18:15 You know what? You know it might... It's so rare for one of our special school's people. He's not arrogant enough. No. When I saw how relaxed he was, I was like, Oh, no. He's just thinking he can. He's just thinking he can. He can. Yes, that's the way he can. He can't actually do it. But he's just...
Starting point is 00:18:27 This isn't a fully expected year in May to be going, okay. Well, it looks like it is. It's materials. Yes. And the part that I found in the Greek game is we... We're a bit more lenient in the spirit, but I don't think we're going to have to make it. I think he's going to be more correct than Jack.
Starting point is 00:18:42 I don't need to be. Awesome. What's he going to get? If we walk in there... If we're infected and it's a whole bunch of rigid... more correct than Jack. I don't need to be. Awesome. What's he going to get? If we walk in there and... We're infected and it's actually... It's got structure and tetragritigry and the drawers are smooth and they slide out.
Starting point is 00:18:54 He's got himself two hour reckon. I think he has got 16 coins. Which is the first time ever. Absolutely. Well, Rooko, but if people could understand what we've just made. We would have to give ourselves a cover more. I'm going to give you one. I'll give you one. Alright.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Coming back in. Oh! Oh, look at him! Look at him! He's just putting his face up. He's just putting his face up. You know what we've got to do? You know, confessable congratulations. Like, he's just putting his face down. He's just putting his face down. Hey, you know what we've got to do? You know, confessable congratulations,
Starting point is 00:19:27 but I don't want to miss this moment. I mean, we'll do a quick test. Look at that, Annie, the drawers slide. The drawer. It literally is force. It's, I mean, there's no pieces left. I mean, it's rigid. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:19:41 The draw works. The hinges are tight. You have to flush that part at the back. You corrected the part that you were making up. Should we go in and break it to Jack? We'll say we're going to stop the clock because we want to have a meeting in here. Yeah, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Jacko, we just want to stop the clock. Stop the clock for a sec. We've stopped Mike's clock. We want to have a quick meeting because something's come up. Yep. You know, we think you have to hear as well at the same time. the clock for a sec. We've stopped Mike's clock. We won't have a quick meeting because something's come up. Yep. You know, we think you have to hear as well at the same time. Okay. Come with us. Jack.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Oh my god. Ah! Ah! You've done the hinges and the doors and everything. Whoa! Oh! Jack, this is the thing that it comes up. I mean, Mike, you've really impressed me.
Starting point is 00:20:28 I have the stalled along the way and I still got a draw to make and the hinges to put on and the daughter put on. I am flabbergasted, Jack. We can't believe what we're seeing. Yeah. Mike, well done. Thank you. Mike, you become the person and this is partly by us being so confident
Starting point is 00:20:45 you couldn't do this and also partly by us being so impressed you have done it. You've been the first person not just to join the club of the elite few that have won an eight coin coin, but you've become the first person ever to win two eight coin coins. So I'm the majority shareholder of the coin economy. I can understand why you think you are the single biggest holder of H&A coin, except it also happens to me on the same day where I announce a bequeathment of 10 coins to Andy. Congratulations. I believe he has a similar announcement.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And I announce 10 back. Wow. So Andy and I each hold 18 coins, but you hold 16. Mate, it's unbelievable. Congratulations, sir. Thank you. Mike, well done, really well done. Now, did you guys tell him to put his feet up on the desk
Starting point is 00:21:31 so he looked like a total boss? Or was that his own choice? His own choice, mate. Wow, Mike, he did meet like a dinner. I was confident. LAUGHTER I'd also like to take this opportunity to announce in recognition of a valiant attempt, I will give Jack the stool.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Not give, just I'll include the stool package free of charge in your drum rental agreement. Congratulations. Everyone's a winner. On that very smiley family friendly finish, we're signing off and that's the... Didn't we say that he could also have something with 150 pictures what would you like? Ikea voucher sounds easy to do we're gonna give you a freedom furniture voucher to prove this wasn't sponsored Ando, we always mention this, but it doesn't get any less true. People that fill out the value of an important podcast are formed. We're so grateful.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Everyone that goes to the world. Yeah, people in the world. Fills out the form, gets involved with the show. We get an amazing community on the podcast. One of the things we've never actually used was early on when we set up the form, we thought, oh, we might need this. We would be in the form where we go, is there anyone that can vouch for you? Like, what's the name of one person that can vouch you?
Starting point is 00:22:50 And pretty much everyone fills it out and leaves a fine number. Everyone's got someone in their life that will vouch for them. We haven't checked it. We've never checked this. We've never gone and wrung these people and gone, would you actually vouch for them? Because it's obviously the person submitting their form, they're the ones that nominating someone. We don't know whether they've actually checked it off. You know, people run down special skills or, you know, they're sharing their life with
Starting point is 00:23:11 this. And I like the vouch for you bit because I think it encourages people to tell the truth because they know we can call a friend to go, hey, can they really smell a cauliflower from a colamadol away? You know, we can check. So today we thought, let's use this. Earlier today we got in, we picked a bunch of value and important
Starting point is 00:23:29 podcast to forms at random and simply wanted to check if people putting down a correct person that can vouch for them. We just called around and can you vouch for this person? I will say this, I think the last call, when someone we weren't expecting it to go. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Hello. Hi, is that Rebecca Bird? It is. Rebecca, just, I'm here from Amish and Andy. Can you just wonder if you could vouch for David Bird? Yeah, okay. That's all we needed to know. Thanks so much, Becca.
Starting point is 00:24:04 I can do it. Thank you. Bye. Yeah, that's all we needed to know. Thanks so much, Beck. I like that little... Hello. Hello, is that Stephanie? It is, yes. Andrew Lee calling from the Hamish Nadi Show. Hi. Just a quick question.
Starting point is 00:24:23 Just wondering, would you vouch for Michael Lennon? Yes, I would. Great. Thanks so much for your time. Alright, bye. Hello. Is that Michelle Walker? Yes.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Michelle, my name is Hamish, sorry to interrupt your date. Just wondering if you could vouch for Alex Eglitas. Oh, yeah, okay. Oh, wonderful. Thanks for your time. Best of luck. Have a good day. Bye. It's the luck with luck. Yeah, you're day.
Starting point is 00:24:52 You're going to wish her bad luck. Hello, is that Ben Kentwell? No, he didn't Ben. Oh, sorry. It's just looking for someone who might vouch for Tom Devlin. I am Tom Devlin. Alright, so did you when you put down a person to vouch for you put your own name? What a monster!
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah, as you vouch for yourself. Yeah, that did. Okay, Tom. Would you vouch for yourself? Oh definitely. Is there any area you wouldn't vouch for yourself in? Oh, I definitely lied on my sheet. Oh definitely. Is there any area you wouldn't vouch for yourself in? Oh I definitely lied on my sheet. I'll tell you that much.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Okay, okay. We got that. Sorry. Hello Emily. Hi. Is it Emily Bickoff? Yeah, hi. Hi Emily. My name is Hamish. Just wondering if you would be prepared to vouch for Nick Golding? Yes, sure. Oh good. A little bit hesitant there.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Are there any concerns for vouching for Nick? Oh, it depends, what am I? We can section off an area that you might. There's an area that you're nervous about vouching for him in. If you have to say, what would you be less likely? What area would you be apprehensive to vouch for him in? I don't know, can I have an example? Oh willingness to repay money, trustworthiness, ability of the best cook in the world, really to follow through. No, definitely not the best cook.
Starting point is 00:26:16 Our voucher is cooking, skateboarding ability, all cleaning. Okay, cracks appearing in the once perfect facade of Nick. What about planning a holiday or a weekend away? Um, he did just plan a trip to Bali for us. Was it good though? We haven't been yet, we're going. So I'll hopefully let you know. Taped vouch pending on that one.
Starting point is 00:26:39 What about taste in television shows? Hmm, pretty good. we have pretty similar taste. I'm going to say it's an 85% of our general voucher. Thanks for my thanks Emily. Good to put a number to the voucher. Thank you. No thank you. Thanks for your time.
Starting point is 00:26:58 Okay have a great afternoon. Thank you. Hang on the line at the end of the quick questionnaire at the end to see how much you've enjoyed this phone call. Okay. Okay. Thank you. This is the Hamish and Andy recorded message. Did you enjoy your time on the show? Yes. Is there anything you would do differently if they called you again? No.
Starting point is 00:27:27 Would you recommend the podcast to a friend? Yes. Thank you. Have a good day. Sorry. I don't know why I'm doing that. I think we were just having fun talking to you. We made Jack be a surveyor. Question here.
Starting point is 00:27:43 Thank you, though, for your honest answers. Oh my God. That was not the reason we called. That was just saying that happened a bit tangentially. Well, it was far as a podcast, what can be. You could pass with your podcast, like honestly. He recommended all the time for my walk. He said, you got to listen to the Hamish and Andy podcast. Well, you might listen to yourself what it is there. I don't know if you you're okay. I don't know if you'll love it after this. We've wasted enough of your day. I mean we will let you go but please do stick on the line that is a questionnaire at the end. No I don't know whether to believe you're about to.
Starting point is 00:28:19 I am. Thanks, I have no there are a few questions. No, there are a few questions. Hi, this is the Hamish and Andy recorded message. You just took part in All right, don't worry, we'll let you go, but there is a quick recording You think we're quite embarrassing? You're funny. Jack! You're too nice. I did want a 7x1. You wouldn't have happy if I said that. You went through a different character.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Seriously, this is the only shirt we've got in this is. If you listen to this, the guys have been japing around with you a bit. And this is the real server. Well done. Whoa. MUSIC And we're at that stage. You know, we've got a cat. Yeah, but that's been with Zoh and I for the duration of our marriage,
Starting point is 00:29:21 but predated the marriage. That was me helping these 10 years old. Wow. How long do cats live? I know what you're thinking, mate. Well, no. So I'm trying to dance on his grave. No.
Starting point is 00:29:31 He's a strong cat. No, I just wondered. They can some free fish cats. 15 is probably probably parsed about 14, 15. Oh, good. So some free-kissly strong cats walk cats to 19 or 20, but those are really the rare kind of grew up in the Himalayas type cats.
Starting point is 00:29:49 What's not a work cat is it? No, no, he won't die of exhaustion. He's well rested. He doesn't do anything. He doesn't have a job. He's a moocher. He's a big old moocher. He just slinks around, sleeps a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:02 He's probably anxiety's risen a bit since we've had kids because now you've got these little things running around the house, so they're trying to grab you all the time. So he's certainly, he's toes a bit more the last four or five years. But again, not to the end to the point where you ever think I'd use me, but I'm a massage. He looks a bit stressed.
Starting point is 00:30:18 Here's the thing, he's getting to that age though because he's a squashed head cast, like a pure breed. He doesn't exist in the wild. But I guess at some point he did. I guess at some point he, you know, somewhere in the DNA there is like lion DNA, way back when. We've seen to that point now where you just take him to the vet because he's heads all squashed up.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Like he's ears get bark, he's eyes get splashed. There's not a well constructed head. It was constructed for looks by humans, by selective breeding. But at the end of the day, if your building cap from scratch, you silly wouldn't design the head. Great aesthetically.
Starting point is 00:30:54 Sure. But not very, like kind of like those brands that are all shiny, but the electronic sucker a little bit of the inside. I was gonna know, one of them, I thought. Probably, we should do a research for you to store of brand like that. But it's one that came to mind.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Well, yeah, I'll throw that. That's where I went out there. They're probably sponsored of Jax. We know he likes to privately go to sponsors. But like, I can see like, you know, those expensive handbags. Yes. Girls have like a Gucci bag.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Yeah. We like, okay, well, how much is, she's, what are you expensive? And they're like, oh, it looks amazing. Be confident in it. You can't fit in the, yeah. So that's, he's head. He's head is a Gucci bag. Yeah. It's getting this day, you like, oh, it looks amazing. But you can't fit in it. You can't fit in it. So that's his head. His head is a Gucci bag.
Starting point is 00:31:26 Yeah. It's getting this reason when you take it to the vet and they just have a party before you get there because they just, you don't know. You don't know what stuff costs. So it's like, oh, we need to dig easy as that. And then we might need to do this. And they're like, one time into the vet
Starting point is 00:31:39 and then we got two, we got edrops for his ride here and edrops for his left here. And they're having a separate edrop. Yep, two different types. One was $65, separate edrops. Yep. Two different types. One was 65 bucks, one was 38 dollars. And they're just, they are, it's like supermarket sweep for those guys.
Starting point is 00:31:51 They just can't believe we'll keep buying all this stuff. So now it's going to state, like, yeah, you still got eair problems and it might be diet related. All right. I'm like, all right. And like, what does it eat? Like, the biscuits you guys go with, all All the eats is the biscuits you've given. You tell us about the special biscuits.
Starting point is 00:32:07 They're like, well, they're chicken based. Maybe he's probably more, he might be more responsive to a different protein, because the chicken, this is, you should pay attention to this, Jack, so if your body building stage, so you should be eating these cat biscuits that are mostly chicken. Like, that would be a good way
Starting point is 00:32:25 for you to bulk up your protein every day. But there are other types of protein. They're like natural, he might be more naturally suited. This was the phrase to crocodile meat. So now he's eating biscuits that are made of crocodile meat. They're more expensive at the place. Oh, you got it, but you wouldn't believe how expensive crocodile meat biscuits are. So they're processed from crocodiles. And then like, it seems to be working. Surprise, surprise, expensive biscuits seem to be working. Well, like, how could he be naturally suited? And what world is mehabit hunting a crock? And then feasting on its meat and going, this, this is what I mean.
Starting point is 00:33:05 If you just let me out of the house, send me up in a pet pack. Send me to the Darwin. Let me hunt a crock. I'll bring you back an eski of meat. Guys, trust me. This is why you need to give me a key to the house. It's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. How do you say you just just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you just want to say you the census in the nuts. Yeah, I know. Never crashed. Unhackable. Oh no.
Starting point is 00:33:45 No. How do you say just joking in Russian? No, full respect for all the hackers out there. Very hackable. Please don't. No. Please. Strong.
Starting point is 00:33:59 Strong but not fast. No, not in fact at all. Not expecting. No, shouldn't say that again. A solid front door. Yes. Of course. If you're a SWAT team, you, not expecting a solid front door. Yes, of course. If you're a SWAT team, you know how to break windows and get in through the rooftops, we're not saying you can't.
Starting point is 00:34:11 We're just saying the door is locked. And you'll find nothing in there. Yeah, it's a move to, there's absolutely nothing in there. I'll tell you that from, I'll tell you that right now, that in terms of the website's security, it's, I think we've got enough security on there that a front door provides. So it's like if a crime of opportunity, they give it a jiggle.
Starting point is 00:34:26 And you hopefully move onto a softer target. Might I say, there are a bunch of other podcasts around that are much softer target. Oh, they have credit cards. And if you want to challenge, it's much harder than us. Oh, exactly. So we're very, we're very boring, extremely boring side to hack. We've got nothing in there. And you'll get no respect for doing it. But I tell you boring, extremely boring side to hack. We've got nothing in there. And you'll get no respect for doing it.
Starting point is 00:34:46 But I tell you who is a good one to hack. Some of those are the big ones. Some of the big singers. I'm seeing a lot of the big singers. A lot of the big singers, not Australian, the big, international singers. Yeah, international singers. You know, they've got credit cards around there.
Starting point is 00:35:01 Okay, anyway, the whole point of this was to say that you've got to be in there somewhere. You can also come and just if it's anything worrying you, we'd love to hear about it. It might not action it. Often don't. But regular sources have shown that many things have bored up. We're going to solve this. Yeah, and you know, we've got 40 minutes a week, so sometimes things fall by the way side, but we'd love to at least start the process of actioning it. What do you got? Ashana, I think that's how I pronounce her name,
Starting point is 00:35:28 said urgent help needed. My boyfriend has had a little tune stuck in his head for over 10 years. Oh my God. Yeah, a 10 year year one. She actually, there's miss belted and said there's a little tube stuck in his head for over 10 years.
Starting point is 00:35:43 I was like, well, this is a mini, she said bring it in. in I'll get the prize I think she said no lyrics so we can't Google it I was like okay I think she meant to blank tube um she said obviously this you back in the past hand I remember when I suddenly channeled a song out of no and I didn't know where it came from or what it was and it turned out to be the start of when Doves Cry. Yes. The boy that could channel music. We, she wondered whether is it possible to get him up? Him to sing it soon. Well, the people of the, his podcast they've solved it before. He's thinking of writing a song with the same tune
Starting point is 00:36:16 and he's unsure whether the tune stuck in his head is an extremely successful song from the past or it's a sudden invention. Or suddenly he's been touched. The muses has touched him. And it's like, hey, you should- We love the muses, we're always ready. We're-
Starting point is 00:36:30 A hand is always up to the sky ready to receive the bolt from the muses. So, he, the boyfriend joined the Snare with names, Fraser. Joy, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, Fraser. Hey, how you doing, God? Yeah, good mate. Very good mate. Can I pronounce your girlfriend's name correctly? Yeah, that's the one.
Starting point is 00:36:44 The honor. And you guys are still together? Yes, we asked you to do it with me at the moment. Fantastic. Because sometimes we get to these emails maybe a week or two month later. Yep. Yep, just got a check. This is a late April one. Right, see you there you go.
Starting point is 00:36:56 So great news. Um, um, phrase. Yep, yep. Sing us the song. Yeah, is it a sing? Is it a, because for me I had to slap it on my thighs sing us the song. Yeah, is it a sing? Is it a, because for me, I had to slap it on my thighs to get the rhythm. Yeah, I was thinking, no, give it a whistle
Starting point is 00:37:09 because I'm not too great at singing it. Okay. And when pretty obscure as well, I'm not sure if it's a song or a TV show, same tune. Could be a jingle or a ad. A jingle off an ad could be anything. That's 10 years.
Starting point is 00:37:22 So we're saying, we could be a jingle from 2009. That's it, could be anything. 2019. No So it could be a jingle from 2009. That's it. It could be anything. 2010. No, back. Still a lot. Give it a crack. I heard you got quite the able to see how it went down.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Okay. And that's that. I noticed that. I never felt that. Again. Again. It never flam. That's all I'm telling. Again, it's every heart. It's everything we've ever done. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a deep, that bed and a deep,
Starting point is 00:37:54 that bed and a deep, that bed. Never feel lonely again. We've got it. Never feel lonely. Never feel lonely. It's not counting, it's not counting crows. Keep a banana. I've got it. I've got it.
Starting point is 00:38:05 We've got it, praise. We've all got it. We're just trying to put our fingers in here. Praise him, he's so sh**. I've heard that a million times now. They've had it in their heads, but no one can ever put the name to it. Oh my god. I know it.
Starting point is 00:38:19 It's never feel old and crazy and the lyrics are going to come. I'm going to do a favor here for all of listeners and we're gonna pause for a moment for our listeners while we continue to search in here because watching people try and get a song and listening to people trying to song is amongst the most boring it's right up there with hearing about dreams. Is it is it fastball the way? No I've had fastball before. I've had fastfall in the morning though. Okay, we're going to get a little bit more to say. Yeah, this is all about.
Starting point is 00:38:49 If people are hearing this, they'll only be hearing highlights of this extended time that we've been brainstorming. All right, you, we'll pause you there, Fraser. We'll come back in a second. De-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de-de Okay, sorry about that phrase. We took out time. It's been a look four minutes. Yeah, um, Fraser with a scrambling in here. I was doing some helping Andy was helping Jefferson rule helping. We think we think we've got it. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP B You've done it straight away. If that is a song. That is it.
Starting point is 00:39:52 Hang on. Hang on. That's fast, man. That's fast, Paul. You guys have ended the nightmare. Hang on. But, I mean, so you said before you the nightmare? Hang on. So you said before you've had fastballs,
Starting point is 00:40:08 did you go and listen to the song? Yeah, we know. Hold on one second. We've only listened to the chorus. That was the chorus. That was the chorus of the song. Maybe you'd only listen to the verse. Maybe you just sort of get listen to the song when all this does.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Because it's right, it does seem like. It was back in an era where they were allowed a double verse. It was a long time to get to the chorus. And it may have been Paul. And to be honest, this is because I know tons of music. When I was listening to the start of that song, I thought, no, there's no chance this song will turn into what the song becomes. So maybe you heard the start and you wrote it off.
Starting point is 00:40:48 I think they played us the wrong part. I mean, do you want to do it again for the satisfaction of like now that you could scratch this earworm? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it doesn't need to, but you know what I mean, it's been ten years of frustration. I thought you might want two, two years of it. Here we go. Baby, I'm sitting around and they won't go to bed. And you know, it's always somewhere that never could go.
Starting point is 00:41:14 And they don't want to be with them. That's it for your friends. You're listening to the wrong part. You've done it. Cheers, guys. Good for you, David. Well, when we were speaking to, when you go friend wrote in, she was thinking that you, she was saying you were maybe thinking you're writing a song with that hook.
Starting point is 00:41:30 I guess you can't do that anymore. Well, it's too late now. Yeah. I can't believe we were so close and we just played the wrong part. Yeah, it's been 18 years. That would have been three years ago. It's like finding out you've been trapped in solitary confinement. The key was in the room the whole time. He phrased it. It's like finding out you've been trapped in solitary confinement. The key was in the room the whole time
Starting point is 00:41:51 He phrase when we came back was your girlfriend trying to play you the song just then when you will listen when The perfect we got played was that was I Different song Different No, yeah, that's great lesson great There you go. No, that's different. Great lesson. Great song is called Out of My Head, that is. Great question, and detail, that if you are trying to solve like any word, you gotta play the right song.
Starting point is 00:42:16 And you really, you gotta listen to the whole thing. Yeah, yeah. It's always gonna help. I mean, we were planning on like putting this out to the listeners, like waiting a week, expecting to come in throughout the week to like sift through emails and load up, you know, hooks for next week, play them to you. Unfortunately, it was close.
Starting point is 00:42:34 Just close, just done it. It's just okay. Yeah. I mean, this is like an episode of CSI, we're at the first ad break, we've completely solved it. So for the next 40 minutes, it's just all the guys going out round Miami having drinks and talking about the case. Thank you buddy, cheers.
Starting point is 00:42:51 Legend, cheers, cheers boys. And I don't put a down on the mood here, but a hypothetical occurred to me the other day. I think I was reading, I must have been saying it was a ghost of Christmas past, you know, that tale where you're here. Oh yeah, yeah. And is that a Christmas tale? That's screwages, no?
Starting point is 00:43:12 Yeah, Dickens. And then it gets taken into the future and you're on if you keep being a tight ass, this is gonna happen. It affects this person. Yeah, like it sort of shows the knock on effect. So it kind of gets to see how his future will play out. But what if you get that ghost of Christmas future to come and visit you, but takes into
Starting point is 00:43:29 the future and you see, like let's just say the ghost comes to visit you, takes you into the future and it's all gone to shit for you. It's all unraveled. You destitute the people and the, you know, the life that you have now, the happy life, something's happened. Yep. So have I got friends still? Doesn't look like it. And more sort of acquaintances, the whole new group. The whole new group and I was still with Beck.
Starting point is 00:43:55 No, no, no, it's over. Right, okay. And family is sticking by me, but mainly just because I'm family. Token. Token stuff. They've dialed it right down. So, summer, summer of risen, I've probably stuck there, some have risen and become heroes, even in your darkest hour, but most things of Jack.
Starting point is 00:44:13 Most things of Jack has as well. Oh, good. Which is nice. So, thanks you too. I knew we had a special ball before. Is a show still on or is a show? I think we still do a monthly podcast. Really?
Starting point is 00:44:24 And it's the only good thing in your life. Wow, okay. Well, actually, sometimes it looks like me and Jack get together going, oh man, he's just not the same. Like, we've got to stop this because it's not. Yeah, you just, you record it, but you guys never publish it. We haven't told you, we haven't told you yet that it's just let go of your own life. So something's happened. And then you go to the ghost, oh my god, what happened? And the ghost goes, not saying, yep. So something's happened.
Starting point is 00:44:51 If I gave you $100 now to split up to bet on the things you think might have happened. Now you get about all hundred going, yeah, I can. I know this is a weak spot of mine. This could be the thing that undoes me. What do you think the most likely things are to undo you? Mm-hmm. Give it an example.
Starting point is 00:45:08 The situation was reversed, right? This was my sort of train of thought. So it's me. It's reversed. Everything's gone to hell. Just something's terrible's happened personally. I've done something and it's all fallen apart. I reckon of the hundred.
Starting point is 00:45:23 I would put, let's actually, let's say it's more like a professional, it's all fallen apart, I think. So you can, yeah, guess you've got a friend's family still around. But I would say face blindness has unraveled me because I can't remember faces and people. I reckon I just done it to, but I'd put 50 bucks on face blindness.
Starting point is 00:45:39 I've done it to the wrong person, at the wrong time, I've said to someone nice to meet you, and in fact, I've worked for them for 10 years or something, and they're a powerful person. And that's it. And that began the demise. It's much softer to wear my headwear for me. Swimming this app could also, I think, ultimately kill me, because I'm an unconfident swimmer. I put 10 bucks on swimming this app. Because we're all friends, I'll go, I I'll go tell you where my head went to first.
Starting point is 00:46:08 How are the workplace, the TV production officers? Yep. Next order, two brothels. Yes, we are, and I talk about it much, but we are sandwiched. We are sandwiched between two dens of prostitution, legal prostitution. We didn't realize that when we... Nope. In our makes sense why our building is cheaper, the rent is cheaper around there. But we are sandwiched between two premium brothels, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:40 About two months ago, a girl was carrying supermarkets and the bag split and I picked up some of her supermarket shopping and we, I was like, I don't know how to help you and I was like some fruit and a little bit of it and I took it to the back of her car and then we put the stuff in the back of her car and then she walked into the brothel and I was like, I must work there.
Starting point is 00:47:02 It's sex worker, yep. And then since then I've been going, if paparazzi had taken photos of me, you think you could be, all right, well now, I can't even see it. Not where my head went when you flagged the brothels as the problem for you I'm doing. I thought it was gonna be something like
Starting point is 00:47:19 every day I fight my urges, but one day I will give up. I didn't think it was gonna be a super bug, I didn't even miss it. And each day, Wow, Andy is putting a hundred bucks on himself. No, I'm fine with that. It was more just each day of its point,
Starting point is 00:47:36 I'm like, is someone, that's a guy. I know, I just feel like it's the kind of thing that could be taken out of context. Could be taken out of context, and then suddenly that's unwrote. Why are you holding a grapefruit with a sex worker? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:48 And then how often are you seeing it that you guys go shopping together? No, I wasn't, you know, like that, that, and then back leaves me and the cushions understand. Yeah. So you're putting it on a misunderstanding? Yes. Gotcha. Yes, that's right. Gotcha.
Starting point is 00:48:00 Gotcha is a bit. I had one the other night. I don't know how much money I'm putting this. Maybe five, ten bucks. Yeah. We're so like, we pretty much had a five. I mean, I wasn't fighting. No, I thought it was funny. Yeah, I had those all the time. But we had a confrontation on the couch, because I committed a couch crime. I like to nibble chocolate. I don't chew it. We eat chocolate pretty much every night.
Starting point is 00:48:25 I'm the couch. We've got a big bowl, you go for your selections, what are you gonna have? Oh, aren't it to doing a Jats chocolate? Yeah, I'm gonna have the Eben Emsbock, whatever. You got your blocks, you got your favorites. Now, I'm sorry, I don't have a sophisticated palette as though. But I enjoy popping candy in my chocolate.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Yeah. You know the stuff that the pop rocks, right? So we had some New Zealand chocolates and wittickers, and they do a small block that has popping candy in my chocolate way. You know the stuff that pop rocks, right? So we had some New Zealand chocolates and wittickers, and they do a small block that has popping candy in it. Now, I nibble and I let it dissolve in my mouth, right? And it pops. I like it. I enjoy the sensation.
Starting point is 00:48:57 So we're watching Handmaid's Tale or something. So it's just like chew it. I was like, what are you talking? You're just like chew it. And I was like, what are you talking? You're like, eat it. Why are you letting it pop in your mouth? Because that's the sensation that's advertised. Part of the enjoyment. Part of the enjoyment of eating this chocolate
Starting point is 00:49:17 is the sensation of the popping rocks coming into contact with saliva in your mouth. Yeah, it's an odd sensation. I find it enjoyable. Yeah. Eat, eat, just odd sensation. I find it enjoyable. Yeah. Eat, eat, just eat the chocolate and swallow it. I will not. There you go.
Starting point is 00:49:32 I think that's a waste of popping candy. Yes. To eat it. Exactly. It's too impassioned. It hasn't, hasn't detonated. It's actually creating unexploded bombs. Like getting home in your car and just pulling the rest
Starting point is 00:49:45 of the petrol out, it's, you know, you haven't even used it for what it meant for. So he said, I respectfully decline to eat it. I'm gonna continue to take the nibble. And nibble and let it dissolve between my tongue and the roof of my mouth. I enjoy that feeling. And then it's like, well, close your mouth
Starting point is 00:50:03 and I was like, in my head I thought, I think a preacher I had it closed. And I was like, I must not have. So it's echoing out of the mouth. So I take another nibble, seal up my mouth very, very tight. And I can feel it's quite loud in my head, but I'm thinking, surely this isn't leaking out. Maybe get out through my nose, cavity. It's like, somehow the audio gets out of my mouth. and it's somehow the audio gets out of my mouth. Furious, she's like go, stop this or I will banish you from the couch. Wow.
Starting point is 00:50:30 It's gonna be the start of the unrest. Yes, I went, don't worry. Okay, I'll stop, but I still had a few nibbles left. Make, be careful, because cut to six months' time. I think it was the start. The three of us are in here doing a podcast that we're not gonna publish. Just to make you feel like you're you.
Starting point is 00:50:47 I was like, we've never had such a big disagreement. And then I put the final bit in and I put a pillow over my face to go, well, you can't hear it through this. Like if movies have led us to understand anything you can silence, you can shoot a gun. Kill someone. No, the department next door doesn't hear it. So like, you're not going to hear it.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Bobby can get through a pillow. You heard it. You heard it. Yeah, I heard it. She hated it. I've been putting 20 bucks on that. That planted the seed for Zoda-go. This isn't the guy for me. She leaves.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I'm a mess. I stopped caring about things professionally. I actually think, and maybe that's 100 bucks. Maybe I'm putting 100 bucks on the other night. And you end up in those problems. Then I get to Andy, hey, you still friends with your supermarket friend? Listener.
