Starting point is 00:00:00 A Lysna production. Activate your internet. Cos the Hamish and the Podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. A Hoi lawyer H. Ha ha. Your Honor. No, I mean, Council.
Starting point is 00:00:28 Yeah, Councilor. It's a big day. It is. Are you all your honor to you, your judge as well, and today? Yes, sir. Uh, jury jack over there. Ahoi to you. Ahoi.
Starting point is 00:00:37 And that look as, as Josh pointed out last week at the start, he said, just as delayed is just as denied. He wanted to get a formal grilling of Nick who had the incident with regards to maybe or possibly cheating in episode 100. Finally. Today, let it wait no further. Nick has been on remand, that tough time for him.
Starting point is 00:00:58 He has been dragged from the cells to be placed in the dock. Has today his name hopefully gets cleared. But in mind, you're being the jury, too, Jack. Would you be happy to be placed in the in the dock. It has today his name hopefully gets cleared. But in mind you're being the jury, too Jack, would you be having to be the whole jury? Well that means I get final say doesn't it? A little bit, yeah. I think it's me.
Starting point is 00:01:13 Look how gratitude we're, doesn't want those ones to be here. Could I be more of a life jury? Look we're vibing in a senior honor, but you're in here every day, you make the call. We, what happens normally is the judge says to jury, I suggest you go, if this is my call, and then the jury go and have a judge, the judge.
Starting point is 00:01:32 Is there any time we're there? No, no, no, no. The court case, the judge goes, I suggest you find innocent, but anyway, who am I? You get in the way of thinking? They throw it, they throw it out. The judge is the trial suggestion, doesn't he? I've never heard of that.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Well, anyway, we've got a lawyer, I'm sure. We should ask the lawyer. Before we get to all that, we will delay justice by here of that. Well, anyway, we've got a lower-up show. So we should have a look. Before we get to all that, we would delay justice by here we would delay it. Because we've got to hear from Sean. Yep. Hoi Andy, Hoi Hame, Sean here from Adelaide, Jacko. Now, you've been a bit disrespectful to the boys lately,
Starting point is 00:01:57 including your little hobby comment, I'd be careful, because the boys might just get you to walk the plank. Boys, it might be time to teach Hawks how to press some buttons because surely it's not that hard and let's face it, Jack's been struggling with a new system. Anyway boys, I love the podcast, I stumbled across it, went all the way back to the first, listened all the way through, I do however keep a couple up my sleeve, because if I'm having a shit day, there's nothing better than listening to you boys and you know it always cheers me up. So keep up the good work. Hopefully one day we can catch up for a beer.
Starting point is 00:02:27 But let's face it, that's never gonna happen. See you boys. Just a flurry. Just a flurry of punches. What a legend, lovely. Second of all, Jack, it started. It seemed like the focus initially was on you walking the plank. Yeah, I didn't know what. Which I guess was just you being fired. But then it seemed like the focus initially was on you walking the plank. Yeah, I didn't know what. Which I guess was just you being fired, but then it seemed to keep it back.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Unless you were firming back to a long time ago where Jack did have to, if he's just listening, we had, we made Jack walk the plank. Did you? Did we? I think we did a witch test. Are you threw me in a pool? I guess that's like walking. I don't think it was a plank there, wasn't it? No, that was like a witch, witches't float or witch's don't think.
Starting point is 00:03:06 Yeah, or why would they melt him? Someone was suspecting you were a witch. I can't remember that. An interesting tangent because, you know, that was a witch hunt. That's what we're trying to avoid today as we have Nick. Because Nick realizes they're not very fair. Jack's experience by himself, it wasn't pleasant. We've got Nick on the phone who was accused of cheating.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Ten episodes ago Nick, a hoi, welcome back for the final, hopefully your final day clearing your name. Oh, my boys, yeah, the big day, hey. Yeah, this is how the how's the trial nerves? Pretty nervous, but they're good nerves because I know I know what the result's going to be. Oh, that's good. Well, maybe there's a formal grilling. If you've got representation this time around, meet Chris. Chris, who are you? Oh, your boys.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Happy birthday, Andy. No need. If you guys had a chance to chat or have we just thrown this at you? Just thrown it. We haven't had a chat yet. Good evening. You know, I'm going to chat a little leaving a few weeks so you guys can have a chat.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I know. I can't. Well, you're still confident. Okay. Are you still confident, Chris? Yeah, very confident, Andy. Chris, have you prepared a defense for Nick? I've sort of wiped a couple of things together today. Yeah. You're right. You're on.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Yeah, Chris, we were musing at the end. Andy and I was just trying to get this right. Because today's a formal grilling. It is, if Nick's found innocent, it'll be the end of the end. Annie and I are just trying to get this right. Because today's a formal grilling, it is if Nick's found innocent, it'll be the end of the process. Unfortunately, we're still unconvinced that we'll transition into a witch hunt. But because it's a formal grilling,
Starting point is 00:04:34 we're obviously mixing the meat in this grilling. The, what are you? Are we the barbecue? I think we're the flame. I think we're the barbecue and the facts of the flame. Yeah, the facts of the heat So what a year Chris we thought you might be the spatula who can scoop in and risk you guys. I think that's probably it so probably Just sort of the plate in between the meat and the flames and a hot plate. Oh, you're the hot plate I'm sort of the hot plate if I can keep it cool, I feel like he's fine.
Starting point is 00:05:06 So you're going to be for the little way. I'm trying to push it away. So you're aiming for raw meat. Yeah. Which I guess makes sense, but a part of me goes, but then it's been ungrilled. Like the grilling hasn't occurred. Yeah, but I'll show you.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I think you're right, actually, you don't want raw meat. You would like a grilling, but then you'd like to come at the other side of it with a fair grilling. So yeah, you're definitely the spatula, so it's not overcooked. Maybe actually, I think I know what Chris is. He's the oil, like you can't just put the meat straight onto the barbecue without something in between because- I was wondering if Chris is actually the dial on the barbecue that manages the flame intensity.
Starting point is 00:05:47 Right. So he really wants it. He wants it to be grilled, grilled, but not burnt. Chris, you thought three things were here, but... Which I quite like. Niculous, for people. And one is I'm not the meatball as well. I think that's right.
Starting point is 00:06:01 Okay, we'll enter this. Let's do this. Let's get it. We've been putting off a formal grilling long enough. We've heard a lot of character reference on the show. Let's get it out. We've been putting off a formal grilling long enough. We've heard a lot of character reference on the show. Let's get serious. We know what the charge is. I've got to summarize a little bit here.
Starting point is 00:06:13 This is the charge sheet. Nick, you have been charged with obtaining an H&A coin by deception. Many listeners have the show claim that your ability to name the show number, a particular special skill appeared on, from memory was false. It was resaningly claimed that you use some sort of a list of systems such as a spreadsheet to provide you with the information you have pleaded innocent to this charge. I assume your plea remains the same. Correct.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Innocent, it is. Okay, we will now hear brief opening remarks. Nick, do you want to start or will you going to refer to your lawyer for the whole thing? I think I'll refer to Chris, I've said it's enough over the episodes. Yeah, fair enough. It's probably a good thing Nick, yep, very good. Um, opening remarks, Chris.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Well, I would like to apply to have the claims like struck out after there being no reasonable grounds for the charge. I think the owner of proof doesn't lie with Nick at lies with Hamish and Andy. He's got the coin and he's pleading not guilty. And I think it needed to be called out when Nick was performing the special skill. Cheating is celebrated on the show.
Starting point is 00:07:21 It's some ways it's the vibe of the show. And if you smell a rat, you've got to call it out at the time. And this was the rule put in place for Chelsea in episode 105 recently. Not often does the judge applaud. Like double court points for using vibe in your opening remark. Okay, okay, okay, seems right though, because yeah, when we did the, you know, we were like, if you call you under the laws of smell or immediate smell, you got to, got to call it out at the time. We, we invented that law in 105. This invented this incident does predate the invention of the law. That is true, but if episode five there was also a celebration of cheating as well.
Starting point is 00:08:05 It's sort of a theme that's carried through the show. That's true. So you're arguing on the constitutional grounds that the Hamish and Andy actually was built upon an ethos of celebrating some cheating. It would be unconstitutional to punish a good GP. Absolutely. And you've had plenty of chance at the time when you were pouring the skill to call him out. Interesting. And that's when it has to happen, not on Reddit.
Starting point is 00:08:30 Okay. Yeah, okay. Well, the, I mean, that is a very good case. You've put forward a very good case. So I'm going to say the next question is on what legal grounds should we dismiss the charges against Nick? Are there any other legal grounds? I think he's covered. I mean, I think he's going to see the other. Yeah, no, I think there is, we would apply to have the claims struck out for there being no reasonable grounds of him being convicted. So there's just no reason for it.
Starting point is 00:08:57 He goes, he goes. He goes, he goes, he goes, he goes, he goes, he goes. Was that you laughing? Who was it, Chris laughing? Was it Chris laughing? It wasn't me, I don't think so. Right, the bad. In the court's eyes. And whether it's the defenda dori's lawyer giggling during the people where the lawyer says
Starting point is 00:09:17 we should struck it out. I feel like your opening remarks were stronger and your second remark was a repete. It was a rehab. Possibly part of the error of the structure of the formal grilling. I mean, I went to know that was the next question. Well, really, the next question we have is the formal grill team, which is basically a triple M footage show in Tuxedo. The formal grill team would like to know, would you be prepared to face a retesting of the skill
Starting point is 00:09:47 in the studio? Would your clients come to that to ensure he has no access to spreadsheets? Feel free to have a brief word with your client. You guys can have a chat. We won't be able to list. We won't be able to hear this. Can't hear. Turn it off.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Are you there, Nick? Yeah, what are your thoughts, Chris? My thoughts would be absolutely not. Depending on how confident you are of getting it another time. But I would recommend against it. I think you haven't been found guilty of an offense or a fraud, so there's absolutely no obligation to reset. There's essentially a binding contract made
Starting point is 00:10:24 when you perform the skill. If you were successful, you got to coin, if not you missed out. So there was no implied term that they could make you sit it again. So I would recommend not sitting it again, but what do you think? Yeah, I agree.
Starting point is 00:10:40 I was, I'm, I'm peaked for the... I think so too. And I don't think I'd be able to do it again. They haven't retested anyone else, so... Exactly, right. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they had their chance. They had their chance.
Starting point is 00:10:53 So definitely, definitely not. It would be a bold move and it'd be a powerful move if we did it again and you got it. But I just, I think there's too many risks involved. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. Oh, what's that? Oh, risks involved. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. What's that? Oh, coming back online,
Starting point is 00:11:06 there guys have you had a chat? What's the good chat? What decision have you come to? Yeah, my client's not going to rest it there. Oh, what grounds? Well, he has not been proud guilty of anything. So there's no obligation to reset. And it was already a legally binding contract
Starting point is 00:11:30 when he performed the skills. So if he was successful, he got a coin. If not, he missed out. And there was no implied term that he could be randomly made to reset. I think it's an insult to the special skills. Yeah, that's a new thought I haven't overheard. Yeah. Interesting. Yeah, certainly. I new thought I haven't overheard.
Starting point is 00:11:45 Interesting. Certainly, I'm just processing that now for the first time too and that is a good point. Well, okay, look, I think I speak for the entire couple, when I say it's been a long yet fair trial. This grilling, we've had some interesting bits of sizzle, quite a fair amount of heat. I think the meat, their heat and the hot plate have done very well. If I could wrap up the formal grilling with a round of compliments. As is the court's wand. We will put you guys on hold. You won't be able to hear us much like we couldn't hear you. And then we'll grab you guys in a second.
Starting point is 00:12:22 Okay. Okay, here we go. Ando, jeez, it's a good defense. I mean, I think we should go to the jury. What do you think? Well, I didn't really realize that until we were in the middle of the grilling, but we don't really have any proof.
Starting point is 00:12:38 Krueger's life. We don't. We don't. Yeah, we don't. The singles is pretty. Don't, we have a hunch. Stride, and a vibe. There are two vibes, a hunch and a gist.
Starting point is 00:12:49 You're right. We've got no proof. Before you put them back on. If I had to bet the house, this is what I bet on. We absolutely can't convict him. And I do think you cheat. That's where I reckon we are. Hey.
Starting point is 00:13:03 But I bought it. Having said that, it doesn't make me angry. I remember that's why I won one last swing at this. I was saving in the bulldog. So he's the judge. This is like the department. When Matt Damon goes in and turns off the recorder and gets him to call, I mean, the intricate scene, if you remember it, but essentially,
Starting point is 00:13:20 before we go back to the chat. He's what I'm thinking. We can't make him go. You guys sure? Because if we can prove that you cheated, you sure you want to be on the record of saying you didn't. Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:32 And then just, so we'll give you one last chance. I see, like hint that new evidence has come to life. Yeah, very corrupt for a judge to do this. But that is the formal grilling, not illegal presenting. Here we go. Interest it, guys. Just while we're in hold some new, we had a chat and Andy's got one last statement before we proceed. Chris and Nick. Obviously Nick, you can refer to Chris at any point, but I'm trying to talk to Nick specifically. Nick, if we had evidence that proved that you cheated, I just want to make
Starting point is 00:14:09 sure that you're happy going on record today pleading innocent. What is before we continue just want to make sure you're happy with that? Yes. And what would you played now? Innocent. Good boy. Good boy! Have you seen that done before in court? There's essentially a bit of a head-back to this court. What a year of time. I wanted to be that sort of hot-played in between there, but I just had the middle of it right.
Starting point is 00:14:43 We took the hot-played off for a second and deceived the meek who would stand wall flame and it could, because for a second Andy just basically went the police went, well we've got a mystery box here, it could have the murder weapon in it. Should we open the mystery box and use it open away. Yeah, go for it. Let's, we, uh, we've reached the decision. Yep. Gentlemen, would you please rise?
Starting point is 00:15:06 Nick, um, it's been a long've reached the decision. Yep gentlemen would you please rise? Nick It's been a long ordeal for you. You've had your name dragged through the mud salad sandwich incident doesn't need to be revisited But your character's been called into question your mums defended it We've certainly been impressed with you as an upstanding citizen and young man and listener of the show I citizen, and young man and listener of the show. I think the facts as we as we see them, I'll mix some facts with hunches, but it is the formal grilling and the Aimshin Andy shows opinion that whilst it's possible, and some might even say probable that there was some foul player for it when you won your coin
Starting point is 00:15:39 episode 100, we have no evidence, and we do think that Chris's notion of visiose ratus, hailus ratus, see rat, celebrate a rat. He's in fact one of the founding principles on the show. So even if you did cheat, you've got a shit hot lawyer that's made us realize we can't prove it and at the end of the day well done if you manage to get a jib and cross it's kind of irrelevant you're right the coin is unfrozen your name is cleared we cannot prove you of the cheat Nick you son of a bitch you all creep Chris you've done it again oh thanks Royal Budlads we're stuck Nick Nick. Nick, how do you feel now? Oh, after all these weeks have been dragged for the mod, my name and my, um, can I honestly
Starting point is 00:16:32 I suppose my character, yeah? Yeah. It feels relief that the truth's finally out there. Mm-hmm. I just let you know, there's is a chance when this goes to air, when the podcast is uploaded. I'm not 100% sure if like when we put you on hold, how like we can hear it, but the some people might be able to, depending what podcast software they have, and they might hear you talk a bit shiftily, Nick, about how
Starting point is 00:16:55 you pegged and you don't think you can do the skill again. And that, I mean, who, again, we just want to stress to those people that see that as a, you know, have some level of suspicion about that. Look, he's been cleared. He doesn't want to do it again. We couldn't prove it. It was on us to prove it. Couldn't come up with the evidence. Well done, buddy.
Starting point is 00:17:11 I think that's a congrats on the coin. We believe you. I mean, I believe you, I believe that you're an upstanding member of the show. That's all I know for sure. Enjoy the coin. Cheers, guys. It's on for us.
Starting point is 00:17:23 I'll get straight onto the bank about that. I made a promise a while back when a great power move came in on the sequin power moves about when your partner quickly ducks out of bed to go to the toilet early in the morning trying to get out of bed as quickly as possible make that bed and get yourself changed. It's a power move saying, we're getting along with our day. It's an awesome power move. We've had a few people send us videos of it being done.
Starting point is 00:17:54 I mean, one where the young lady gets out of bed, she doesn't set up phone very excited, sliding door, guy comes back in, and the guy just goes, no, up straight back into bed. Checkmate, well, I finally got straight back into bed. Checkmate. Well, I finally got the window to do it on back. I made the promise that I'd try and take down back
Starting point is 00:18:11 and record it, didn't video it, nude sleepers. I didn't think she was gonna do a torch run. Hey, I get it. Not committed to the show, to a limited sense. But I did, I picked the best time possible. What time are we talking in the morning? Sunday morning. Good.
Starting point is 00:18:32 At what time? At eight, which is very early for us. God, what life do you live? What life do you live? I cannot have been kind of wandering out of bed and around about 10, 10, 30, my study. I'll be having lunch one by then. So, eight o'clock on having zilcan.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I'm in a need of minute. I'm going to have to go for a walk. And just sleep in all the way whenever you want. Eight o'clock, we had a few drinks tonight before long to do. Of course, and hang have a hangover, we can have nothing on, unbelievable. And Beck wakes up. As what happens when you've had a lot to drink night
Starting point is 00:19:12 before you need that early wage, just if you do a capacity situation. Yeah. So Beck goes, wait, so he goes, oh, sorry. I'm gonna quickly run to the toilet. It's like no problem. I'm like, this is the time.
Starting point is 00:19:22 This is it. This is it. I've got to do it, it's the most annoying time possible. So if she runs in a nude to the tools, like no problem, I'm like, this is the time. This is it. I've got to do it, it's the most annoying time possible. So if she runs in a nude to the bathroom, and this is where we pick up the action as I placed my, you've got, you know, I have a bit less time, because there's no pants off pants.
Starting point is 00:19:35 That's true. That's no idea. We have to work fast. I just came for that. And you'll hear me, you'll really rub it you around, get my phone in a perfect placement near the door to get a reaction when she comes back in the south wind down.
Starting point is 00:19:49 I'm going for the make the bed. Now quickly try to get changed. What did you go for suit? Great. What? What? What? I was looking for a topping back into bed. Oh, why? Pound moves. I'm not going to Pound moves. We're morph to the bunny.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Oh no, she's just, she's burying up. It's okay. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again.
Starting point is 00:20:41 I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough one up again. I can give you a rough. It's okay. Are you going to rough on up again? No it's okay. I just wanted to give you a c do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:12 I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. which he'd seen the recording of the iPhone. And that's why she yelled it back out, not true. When I told her that I'd recorded it, she said,
Starting point is 00:21:27 no, you surely didn't know, you can't use that. I was using baby voice, not, anyway. How move is it? That's a problem. That's a problem. That's a problem. How move is it? How move is it?
Starting point is 00:21:37 Oh, no. How move? I've talked to every lawyer in town. You can't use the how move. I'm you, face reveal. Wow, very good. But I just want to do every lower 10, if I use the helmet. I'm you, face reveal. Wow, very good. But I just want to isolate what doesn't come across and you can see me going to mode of, oh my gosh,
Starting point is 00:21:53 I've maybe gone too far here, but the initial shock mode when she opens the door, have listened to the sound of isolated it. Oh, no, that's a couple of it. What would be like a magic trick? She just slid the door shut, slid it open in her mind. And suddenly there's a maid bed and a guy completely dressed. So went to the toilet and I made the bed. She would make that noise too, but just the bed bag, mate.
Starting point is 00:22:21 I'm in the wrong house. Ando, time again to revisit Impulse Club, where people who are susceptible to persuasive ads on Instagram and Facebook for cool, cool products. Any arrived in class? I can know that's quick turn, really. No, at the moment with COVID, a lot of these are shipping from not Australia. So we are obviously sympathetic to the travel times, but last week on the show we successfully invested in the Pivo, which is a motion sensing small tripod-like
Starting point is 00:22:59 phone attachment tabletop disc. Can't wait to get in front of that, move around a bit, see the camera can track me. That was me and Jackie, me and Nicole bought together a next saviour, which has four uses and provides relief for the whole of the full mode. We've got the top of the line one there. Scott and I invested in the firewall, which is a wallet, life and fire, when you open it. It's now only what I'm interested in seeing. I've got it, I actually gonna make a retraction. If you were listening to the last week's episode, I said, hey, Scott, let's get one each.
Starting point is 00:23:30 It's actually not the, that's not impulse club. What I realized was, that's just me getting excited and buying more than we need. The whole point of impulse club is to try and curb. So we're only getting one fire wallet. I will give Scott a burnt wallet. I think he's $40. We'll still have some flame left. And it's not preventing him from going out be getting one fire wallet. I will give Scott a burnt wallet. I think he's $40. I still have some flame left.
Starting point is 00:23:47 And it's not preventing him from going out and getting another one. Our point of this was to try and buy less of these items as the public. Like we're trying to reduce the planet's waste by getting some time share. By getting a bit of time shared by spreading out the couple of weeks we're into a thing and not each buying one and I worry is that we're advertising all these items Everyone then you know if you're interested get in touch with Scott maybe for 20% of the price you can get a third Burned wallet a third hand burnt wallet. Let's go to today's Jagger I'm in in Pals Club. Kiki's off Tyler.
Starting point is 00:24:29 A Hoi Tyler. Very exciting to be on the cusp of an investment with you. How are you, sir? Well, guys, happy birthday, Andy. First of all. Don't need to. Hey, Tyler, talk us through the item. What do you want?
Starting point is 00:24:44 All right, so this is called an all-loid, um, and it's, of course, comes in precious metals. As I know, English love. Uh, so it has a range of options. It is very shiny. Well, how's the finish on it? What's the spell? It's the all-loid L-O-I-D. Okay. It's, so it's already kind of got you fascinated by this. No, really.
Starting point is 00:25:02 You're already mesmerized by the spelling. You haven't even seen the industrial grade finish. Confusing. Tyler, what sort of shape would you say it is? All right, so the oil oil is the shape. Oh, wow. And what it is, it has all the fun abilities that a ball has, you know, rolling abilities, but none of the boring sphere aesthetics.
Starting point is 00:25:23 I've just enrolled too much. So it's a little bit sharper, a little bit classier. It's got a few smooth edges and sharp edges. But none of the boring sphere aesthetics. I've just enrolled too much. So it's a little bit sharper, a little bit classier. It's got smooth edges and sharp edges. Absolutely. This is the worst part. This is the worst part. You've seen it in shape.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I'm okay, now I'm showing you a picture of it. I've fascinated. He was mesmerized. I'm not at all. I saw a brief flicker of mesmerization. Like I said, you've had no fun with the coppersphere. You gave it away. The one we gave away, the guy had regression for it.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Well, I know because you accidentally dangle the golf up in front of him and he turned it to the massive dinosaur. And decided he could get a free club out of his mouth. That's how much we were a vulnerable, soft, milkable animal as we show you. No, that's how much he didn't like that. That's on us. I've been told this is so much more than just a sphere of
Starting point is 00:26:07 Single-Tile I do you use the flipie square? No, I use mine on the rig. I do you know I Jack and I have never used the flipie square I think I left mine in the wrong person you you don't Yours anymore. Well, this is gonna get this thing. I'm saying to you as a friend Tyler find someone else and what this thing can do, Andy, it's an interesting shape. Tyler, I still can't even picture it. When you may have a sphere with morning bits. Oh, mine.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Look at that. He said it's a full sphere. That's the definition of a ball. It's breaking down your previously held ideas about geometry, so it's already paying for itself. Okay, how much? Tyler, what's it cost? I believe it's 56 dollars, but of course you have to factor in the Hamish and Andy loyalty card. Oh, that's a good point. That's a very good point. That's a
Starting point is 00:26:52 five percent. Five percent juice for us. What material does it come in? There's stainless steel brass and of course copper. I already, I think you've got some copper. You've got your fill of copper mate. I would be interested in a brass one, darling. I would be interested in a brass as well, yeah. That would look very nice on our desk. No. It's certainly the kind of thing where people could come in and be impressed by it. It's an awesome conversation.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Certainly don't even have a desk that anyone's been doing. Sometimes I might see it at the kitchen, don't we? Okay. Get the kids undoing school stuff. All right, move to do the deal and move on because it's all around you. Tartarone is... Now that's great. This is going to be great. Well, you won't get yours for a month plus delivery time.
Starting point is 00:27:33 Have a long, takes it to me. But I will enjoy this for my month and then you will enjoy it forever after that. I can't wait. This is great. Well, I'm glad that you both... We're funnier. Yeah. You're sharing that idea to raise Trees a hoi to raise a hoi boy tell you really good
Starting point is 00:27:50 This isn't wonderful item trees throw it's um I think I've got an idea of which one this is because I've got the picture here I've got the following for me, but you tell Andy because this thing this thing's incredible All right, so it called the ferns cloud incredible. Alright, so it's called the fanned cloud and it's a soft cloud-esque cow that can float on water. Incredible, but then it also absorbs water when you want it to. Isn't that incredible? It both repels and absorbs water depending on the oceans. It's so interesting. I sawz, I saw the ad for this. Body incredible.
Starting point is 00:28:27 How did they do it? This next to his pool lays it on the pool, it's floating on the surface, right? And he puts a normal beach towel in next to it, doesn't he? And what happens to that? Soaks up out of the water and sinks. Yeah, sinks to the bottom, sinks straight to the bottom. And the floor.
Starting point is 00:28:41 You sluts, right? You'll, the big whiskey you run from owning the sandclothes, you'll hate your other towels. So you get the sand cloud and it floats on the surface, but then when you apply pressure to it, it gets the pool brush, and it squashes it down to the bottom, and then it absorbs all the water
Starting point is 00:28:56 because it's applied pressure to it. So you take it to the beach, it won't get any sand on the towel, but you come out of the ocean, have a swim, push the towel onto your body, once pressure's applied, then it starts getting thirsty, so it's up all that water. It feels like you have to rigorously rub your money. No, it says no rigor required.
Starting point is 00:29:13 No, that doesn't. I'm interested in seeing it. I would never otherwise. I'm very interested in this. Are you interested to Rose? I'm very, very interested. I'm glad you are, too. How much? How much? I don't know
Starting point is 00:29:27 the exact price because I'm a bit fast and loose, but it's about probably around the 40 miles. Probably is. I'm comfortable with that sort of pricing. I was going to say we should get a few, but I've learned my lesson. We can only get one. That's the point of this segment. I will buy this to raise. I mean, I would very much like to see this fan play out of operate. Yeah, absolutely. I need to give you the money in advance. You've got to give me the money in advance. We'll do that off air. Yeah, great. Okay. Another deal. Another deal. Love it, Trey. I don't think we've had a no yet.
Starting point is 00:30:02 I think that's a thanks to raise by, is again a problem with this because the God will facilitate us on the air. We're Jack and I could normally reason now where it's now it's 5050 Brody. I'll hold you. I'm not gonna say no to this one. Brody, how are you mate? I'm all right, boys. How are you, Brody? You hit us hit us with the item you want. Okay, so the item is a pair of rebounds, ultra rebound actually, foam slippers do wear in the house. Mate, I thought you had for this. These things look so spongy.
Starting point is 00:30:31 Why do you need rebound in the slipper, Tellenbrode? It's a good question, Anne. It says here, actually, in the flying print, so it says it's a 4.5 centimetre thick sole, which has a heightening effect and maximum comfortable. It says the sole is so solid that there's actually no sound when walking. So you're incredibly bothered, it's no sound. Well it's like, it's squishy, but I guess they just mean that the contact that makes with the ground is just…
Starting point is 00:31:00 So it's an otherworldly? So it's helpful to sneak up on the higher cupboards. Yeah, cuz you got that extra high Cookie-jump We've got a pet bird that's flying out and gives a bit spooky for you. He's a coming. Yeah perfect The whole shoe is light and weighs less than the weight of a mobile phone Doesn't it also say yeah, every step you take it's specific weight Every step you take is enjoying says on that wow So you just know this is good. What's site here we go. What size footie you Brody?
Starting point is 00:31:37 Well, I've actually written this down because I had three three selling points I am a size 13 and I know home has a big foot. Yeah, he's He's more of a 12, but I reckon you I get a 13 and swim around and from up. I'm happy to go 12 and I share that man. See if they got a 12 and a half. How are we feeling about home issues bare feet sweaty bare feet in this product for a month? Is she me can wash him, but that's a good point. Do you want me to sock up? I've got no issue with it. I mean, you are getting 40% on retail. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:10 Brody, I'm going to see if there's a 12 and a half there. I mean, Amy's laughing a lot of these, but I mean, when I saw the ad, when you see the heel strike in the ad and you see how spongy that slippery. The rebound. The rebound is insane on these things. Yeah. I also feel home. I feel like you can't get in trouble for this one. I feel like in the past, it's always been angry at you with the camping equipment and the electric grump kit and the cowboy hat.
Starting point is 00:32:33 She can't be mad at you for this one. She won't hear me, she won't know where I am. She can't get mad at what? She really can't find. The only thing I might have to buy is a helmet in case I'm bouncing into the roof. The rebound of these things. Deal, mate. That's a really good roadblood. Hey, we went to the power moves earlier in this show. And we've got huge news.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Ring the alarm, and oh. I mean, sound for Falkhorn of Triumph. There it is. Never used on the show. But let Falkhorn Blair. There it is again. And one quick little more honk. And now that's enough for the Falkhorn, because we want to keep some power to drive
Starting point is 00:33:23 for when we actually Follow up with this news She's done. She is done everybody. The book is done. Pell Moves book is done the coffee table Power Moves book that you'll be able to have yeah and hold and cherish at the exact same weight of Australian rule Shed and the exact same time you can hold have and and cherish it all in one. Yep, all together. That's one of the features of the book. It is going to be available very, very soon. More than a hundred moves in there, Amber. Yes.
Starting point is 00:33:52 More than a hundred pounds. More than a hundred pounds. All illustrated. All illustrated. Yep. And selected by your best friends. And signed. All fun.
Starting point is 00:34:00 All fun. All. All personally signed off on by us. But all book is signed and the first thousand signed by Jack Post. We don't know if you say that, just the first thousand are a signed copy. Okay, so yes. That's nice. So how about that?
Starting point is 00:34:16 You've got a chance if you're a little bit weasel out of doing that. Well, just the fine print on that was wasn't I doing either a thousand signatures or signed for an hour, whichever came first? No, or sign for an hour, which ever came first? No, I think it was a was ever came last No, why would I do whatever came last so you get the job done? I thought it was a minimum order of a thousand that was a minute a thousand if you get it done in in under an hour you can leave oh Interesting under an hour, you can leave. Oh, interesting. So what, you thought you were just seeing in a room for an hour doing no signing?
Starting point is 00:34:47 Oh, get to a thousand first, whichever I did first. No, I would sign. Oh, interesting. I would rock and did you not, let's get a stenographer to check this, but did you not suspect a weasel? Oh, one minute ago. And straight away, who do we have here?
Starting point is 00:35:04 Who's this minck life character slinking in and out of his tunnel? The signing weasel. Yeah. I think you know in good faith, Jack, what the deal was. 1,000 copies, because let us not forget, this was for you taking a full day off the podcast. Yeah, but why did we even talk about the hour then? That's what's confusing me, because there's no such thing as a like...
Starting point is 00:35:24 Two inch in total. ...to what we should go. Yeah,'s no such thing as a like 20,000 times a lot. To which you have to go. Yeah, we were like, you could get it done in an hour, and if you get it done. No one's gonna get a thousand done in an hour. No, that's why we thought that. That's why we were like.
Starting point is 00:35:32 We were like, yeah, we were like, but maybe we minced our words. Let's go back and look at that. Let's do it. Just in case there has been some word minced, let's just say the honorable thing is you're signing a thousand. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:45 You made the pledge. You made the pledge that people, this was, if I remember correctly, it was Andy saying, look, it's so you don't lose that full days. You know, hard yaka. I'll sign a thousand. Yeah, quite a good guy.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Yeah, okay. I think we actually did mention that. Yeah. That's the right thing to be worried about. That's the right thing to be worried about. Jack I'm at this point with the pal move book where we've got to do the order. Like the book's finished, but we've got to actually get it made and delivered to Australia. And a container worth is 14,000. Which seems to be a worth is 14,000. Which seems a lot.
Starting point is 00:36:26 So you're signing a 14th for a tainer. We don't have to order a whole container's worth. But you can do a half a container, you can do a quarter. So we thought, Could we check up things in the container? What countries are coming? China. So cool.
Starting point is 00:36:39 Yeah, sneakers. Well, then we'd start to pay for that. You don't have to shut up. Should we sell lots of things at the website. No, no, no, no. No. What I would like to do is engage of interest from people that's focused on the blog. So, I think we should bring around a bunch of people, just random people that have contacted
Starting point is 00:37:01 the show. Very important. And let's just see what percentage of listeners are interested and maybe we'll find out at what price point. Okay, I'm just kidding. So, are we asking both questions to all people? I guess so, yeah, camera. What do you think? And should we be, how do you say, should we be Malcolm and Dave?
Starting point is 00:37:19 On behalf of him and Dave, but I think they'll sniff it because we're talking about the power moves. We'll see. Yeah, okay. Good luck. This guy's name is Jeb. Jeb. Hello, it's Jeb speaking. Jeb, Malcolm and Dave here from the Homestowny Show.
Starting point is 00:37:39 I'm Malcolm. No Dave. So I don't know if Malcolm and Dave is with the with with the guys, but we're predominantly off here. Oh wow, you sound surprisingly similar. That's why they keep us off here to avoid confusion. So we're here sort of in the research department of the we get all the shit kicking jobs. Yeah. But we're just going around a few of the valued and important podcasters, feel the people who contacted the show,
Starting point is 00:38:05 get a bit of a gauge as to how popular the power moves coffee table book is amongst the population of listeners of the Hamish and Andy show you might have heard the boys talking about the book. I did, yes. So it's just a quick survey. First of all, interested in buying it or not interested in buying it.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Well, it depends on the price point. Right. No, that's the second question. Let's just say, add a fair price. Would you be interested in buying it? Yes. Thank you. Can you just let you know just between us?
Starting point is 00:38:36 That's about 100% of what people are saying at the moment. So you're certainly in the majority bed. Now, let's talk turkey, by which I mean the price of Turkey. So let's talk dollars. Yes. Would you be still interested if it was between $31 and $36? It's hard to cover. How many power moves? There's over a hundred. Fully illustrated. Okay. Because the price per power move is obviously what you're looking at there. So yeah, that seems reasonable. Hard cover, yes.
Starting point is 00:39:08 So what was the price point that you mentioned Dave? You. Between that side. 31 to 35. What about 35 to 40? So now you're pushing it. I think early 30s is where you want to play early 30s and you're feeling good And would you be encouraged to tell a friend about the price if it was in the early 30s?
Starting point is 00:39:31 I would not be sharing the price, but I would definitely share the concept of the book. That's the appealing factor We come up so let me come up with a $32 book Want to hear the price though? Doesn't matter. And just finally, do you live in Australia? I live in Australia and Melbourne. And you obviously understand there would be shipping costs? Yeah, yes, okay. We do go with this.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Would you happy to pay the $5 million shipping cost within Australia? That's cheap. Sorry, did you squeeze it $15? Did you say $10? No, I didn't think so. What do you mean that? I don't have a book. Did you say $10?
Starting point is 00:40:11 It's $10. Wow, that's cheap. I mean, I didn't mean your answer honestly, but I mean, doesn't let us lead you here in any way, but wow, there's a lot of other places to charge a lot more than that. Sorry, what was your answer, Jim? You're pushing it is my answer. There's power that comes in you guys calling directly and you should use that and you should get people
Starting point is 00:40:32 to sign up immediately. You may not remember Dave. Yes. Well, we have to compile this before we send it up the ladder. So if there is pertinent information here, I mean, I'm just any will want to know if people understand about shipping and they're having to pay the shipping cost. I mean, it's still going to want to know if people understand about shipping and they're having to pay the shipping cost.
Starting point is 00:40:45 Ah, I mean, it's still worth it because to get power over someone, even one of those dudes should be worth the money. And you never know, you might be getting one of the thousand signed copies. Yes, by Jack hopefully. Well, that's not too deep into it. I've already wasted enough time on the call. Thank you very much, Newtie. Thank you, Jim.
Starting point is 00:41:04 Thanks guys. It's been interesting, Dada. Thank you very much. Thank you, Jim. Thanks, guys. It's my interesting data. Thank you. Very good. 100% of people. Very interested. You reckon you can sharpen a pencil a bit there on the shipping? Well, that's the problem. I mean, I've already run the bell, but obviously if we ship in 200,000, yeah, the price point lowers, but if we've got a look, how about this? What do we, we get 200,000 books. No, we can't bring in a 2000,000 book. I thought we were deciding we're bringing a container. I know that my point is the more books you bring in the lower the price point can be. That's why we need, how about this?
Starting point is 00:41:36 I know I've run the bell, but what if we set up a counter at our website, hamishanity.com, it's like a security guard counter at the front of an iClub. Go there and click on it if you're interested in the book. Just do it if you're interested. Don't click on it. Just one click, please. One click. Unless you're buying two books.
Starting point is 00:41:56 Oh, you will tell someone who doesn't have access to the internet to buy a book and you're confident that would buy one. That's true. That can give two clicks. Click on the clicker. What about this? If we get under 10,000 clicks, books go to be 35 bucks. We get more than 10,000 clicks.
Starting point is 00:42:10 We can drop that to 32. Mm. That's him's fair. Yeah, okay, great. The Hamish Nandy Podcast will return next week. Catch up or contribute at hamishanandie.com.
