I have about the Andy and I hope you enjoy those Seas.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Oh, yeah. Always the one question I've got that works me quite every day. When you forget something, where does it go? Like, where does the thought go? It's still in your head. So surely you can't forget it. Surely it's still in there and it's not gone anywhere out of your body or out of your brain.
Starting point is 00:01:17 I tend to do it more time thinking about it, but I've just got to figure out how to upload this to your website. Cheers, boys. Well, that's where your brain power's gone. That's why he's lost all these thoughts because he's everything's offline because of the figure out how to upload this to your website. Cheers, Poison. Well, that's where your brain power's gone. That's why he's lost all these thoughts, because he's everything's offline, because of the bandwidth that trying to upload something requires.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Toby started with pondering. Yeah, you did, didn't he? Yeah, I've been a metaphysical question, really. Yeah. I'm happy not to pondering. Play on. Oh, yeah, right. Sure, there's a reason.
Starting point is 00:01:40 I'm sure it's like, well, where does a baroque go when it dissolves? Well, it will never be whole again. That's probably what's happened to your thoughts. You put them in war. And you've got to have a vested thoughts. I think the difference is the baroque you can't get back. Well, sometimes you can't get a thought back, sometimes you can. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:56 The magic of the brain. Who are we? But who are, no, it's mysteries. Just because we've got one doesn't mean we know how to use it. Like me with a lot of stuff. Most of the items, I mean you guys, the thing at Ironfall's Club.
Starting point is 00:02:11 At Hardware's store, just because you've got one, doesn't know you know how to use it. Do I need every piece of the 215 drill set? Not everyone. I'm some will be remain versions. But for the screwdriver attachment, you shall get a spin. You said you had to be important to be a screener.
Starting point is 00:02:32 I guess I need to blow some mines here. And I think it's going to blow Jack's mind the most. I'm not trying to play favorites here, Ammo, but he could pee my brain. Well Jack isn't fair to say you are perhaps more cautiously moneyed than... peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep-peep- nice to have to exist purely on free sushi's and promo stuff when you have a very high-paying radio job. Yeah, far above what we get these days, we left right now. You must be extremely nice to be walking around confident that you have those kinds of savings in your pocket. I'm really more talking about iPhone stuff. Now, classically, when the iPhone came out, two big things stand out for Jack's relationship with the iPhone.
Starting point is 00:03:25 Yeah. Number one, it's a tormented relationship over many years. Well, he bought the iPhone the new iPhone the day before a new one came out. Yeah, that was it. And that was my first one. So I was already way late to getting onto smartphones at all. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:39 And then a miss-happier still paying for. There's the menu behind the curtain. The morning of the big announcement that there's a new one out. I signed up until you're contract. On the way to livestream the Apple event. Actually, what I'm thinking of Apple, I might buy a brand new iPhone. So that was one. And then very, very famously for many years and possibly sort of this day,
Starting point is 00:04:05 you refused to spend one cent on apps, only free apps. You'd only free apps never in app purchase either. Like you're going to the app store and you'd see like top page charts and laugh your head off, but I can't believe anyone's paying for this. Yeah, it's not even if I see an app, even if it is a $1.99, I won't even register it as something I could have. I just gloss over it like, you're still doing that? Yeah, it's built into me, I don't know. That's just for people. Yeah, I suppose if you give your mum-bakers delight coupons. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. To Jack, spending money on an app is sort of like saying to kids,
Starting point is 00:04:42 like, well, you could drive a car. Well, I mean, I know what happens, but I'm five. I could never. One day, mate. That's what I want to talk to you about. That's why I think this is going to blow your mind. I thought I was fairly across the cost of what things would be in the app world.
Starting point is 00:05:00 And especially in the games world, right? So I hate to see how much home you should spend. I don't know, I'm just a game. I'm okay. I'm all right. I mean, back in the day world, right? So I hate to see how much home you should spend. I don't know. I'm just in game. I'm okay. I'm all right. I mean, back in the day on the dual year. Oh, there's one instance. One weekend on Candy Crush.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Yeah. So I'm buying you an incident that I, well, I went there. Yeah. It's $80. $80, really, I was an extra candies. I miss candies. Power candies.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Yeah. The family, we're still recovering. It was sort of like job keeper. We didn't know at the time once bending that level of money would be in the ramifications echoed into the future. I'm still playing score match every time. That's soccer game. Max is playing a time which is money.
Starting point is 00:05:37 No, I have started paying. I started paying. A season pass, which is $9 a month. But. Yeah, but get one. And then it came up the other day, go do you want this player package? Yes, because I'm losing all the time
Starting point is 00:05:52 to guys from Bangladesh and India that just keep laughing at me and they're emojis. Poppoms who work for the company, they're like juicing you for $10 bucks. Exactly. $273 was the package. Well, that's what I'm talking about. Listen to this.
Starting point is 00:06:05 So I downloaded this game called Jurassic World, right? Which is like authorised through whoever, whatever film company owns Jurassic Park. My little boy, it's any crazy for dinosaurs. I'm like, there's gotta be a game. Because he doesn't really play video games. I'm like, if you do your chores, you build up your minutes, we spend them on this game.
Starting point is 00:06:23 I'm kind of hunting for this reward. Find this game, Jurassic World. Tour intense and purses looks like the right kind of thing. You'll understand this playing system, Jack. Essentially, you build your theme park up and you get different dinosaurs and you gotta feed them up. So you need meat points to like feed your dinosaurs to go up to levels already.
Starting point is 00:06:41 You begin to think, Pokemon's. This is where Jack's like like maybe I'm interested. And you then get different answers. You've got to hatch him, you've got to like wait a day or spend a few of the in-game dollars to speed up the hatching. So you begin to go, this is how they're going to get you. Because usually games have like in-game dollars.
Starting point is 00:06:58 Yeah. You have to pay real mummy and daddy dollars for. Yeah. And but I'm like, no, we can do this. Like we can navigate around the in-app purchases here and just grind it out and build up our Maginka Soros and whatever. But it's taking a while.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And then they start popping up with what you're getting, which is like, hey, do you wanna, how'd you like a T-Rex? I mean, because what you do with your dinosaurs, you battle them. You end up, you know, like that. That's like Pokemon. I don't remember, yeah, it's kind of Pokemon for dinosaurs.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I don't remember this from dressing well with it. You actually battle battle them against the like one of the other guys in the park. Oh, I'm. What is this what happened in the way that you're asking me to see all of them, but it seems to be like you fight your dinosaurs. So you need obviously higher level dinosaurs. They do more damage. They've got more health. So we're losing a lot of matches. I've got more health. So we're losing a lot of matches, losing a lot of battles. And so I'm beginning to think, geez, I mean, would it be crazy? Poor kids being stuck at home,
Starting point is 00:07:49 we're doing homeschooling. What are we talking? Dollar, $2. Just juice up one of our dinosaurs here, maybe buy a T-Rex. To get a pack of cards, right? So you're buying a digital packet card, it's like footy cards. So you don't even know if you're gonna get
Starting point is 00:08:04 a same thing that's called that. It's like, it's like footy card. So you don't even know if you're going to get a same thing for school. It's like it gives you like a 15% chance of getting one of the ultra rare or legendary dinosaurs. What are you reckon it costs? And this is a 20% off it tells you when the store, 20% off a made up price that they're making up anyway because these are fake digital cards. Jack, are you go because obviously I'm hampered this whole thing by revealing a price. But yeah, well, I wouldn't even touch that with a 10-foot pole.
Starting point is 00:08:27 Of course. A paid one, but I guess, $40 or something might cost you $3 to $5 a pack in real life. To get the unique carnival's pack, you're looking at $159.99 and it's not even, you don't even know what you're getting. It's a random pack. See that's crazy That's blown my mind Like call of duties like a hundred bucks Yeah, 120 bucks like that is a game that you've bought it and you've got it for like years and that's your out. I Who is paying?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Hundreds of dollars like it's out of control. I before even happened to say, I was like, come on, tell me, you know what, I'm buying you a T-Rex. It's like the actual price of T-Rex would cost in real life. Like you do it to do all the signs. You can open up your own Jurassic Park. Yeah. So how much does it cost to buy a microscope,
Starting point is 00:09:19 get some old mosquitoes in a little drill? Make your own freaking dinosaurs. It's unbelievable. Look, people obviously are, and the little drill, make your own freaking dinosaurs, it's unbelievable. People obviously are and the problem is... And they're falling for the 20% off? You can't keep playing the game. And now, and now, we are losing. You're like that, that's...
Starting point is 00:09:34 We're going online too. We're going online, we're getting beaten by 10-year-olds. Yeah, in other countries who have got... You're having dinosaurs haven't even heard of. They've got hybrid dinosaurs. They're above a level 40. You'll be... You'll do what, you'll be.
Starting point is 00:09:45 You're on the same path as me, and I just keep getting relegated. Like I keep getting relegated and soon you'll have a small little park. Then you'll have a park, and you'll have a party, and you'll have a chicken. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no It's somehow it's allowed because they're magical animals. Hey, we love, uh, look, every listener out there of the podcast, but the very important podcast is our VIP podcasters. We salute you going in, filling out some extra details on the form and allowing
Starting point is 00:10:20 their us to contact them 24 seven. Yeah. As a deal rules As a deal. As a deal. As a deal. As a deal. As a deal. As a deal.
Starting point is 00:10:30 Particularly the special skills, if you want to be formally recognised and get a chance to get an H&A coin. We never cease to be amazed. At the depth, sometimes the depth, usually the breadth of the skills. I would say it's more of a breadth that we are amazed by. People's skills popping up all over the place. Sometimes they are deep skills. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:44 Sometimes they are shallow skills. And they are shown up on the show. You had a you had an on skill that you didn't really have that well. Eric joins us today from the US. Oh, are you Eric? Oh, I boys, happy birthday, and I came. I would congratulate you on the SP, but I know you're trying to put that behind you. So I would not congratulate you on the clear least superior fee. I appreciate that Eric, a tip of the hat to recognize your knowledge and of course in the face of scientific evidence, you would be foolish to ignore it. But as you mentioned, we must march on no matter the accolade, no matter the triumph, we must focus on the task of hand. We will thank you very much. Eric, whereabouts are you? I'm in New York City. New York City
Starting point is 00:11:25 Oh, how things at the moment pretty good. I think it's getting back to normal for the most part. People are eating outside more It's it's gotten to be a little bit more like the old New York. That's good. That's good a city full of superior bees I'm Eric Ham Rodin can recognize any major actor or actress by voice alone has been called a superpower by friends. Eric, you are exactly who I wanna see every animated film with. I mean, is this where this skill came before because usually in any animated film you're just like, who's the mouse?
Starting point is 00:11:58 Yeah. And then you call, oh, it's Rosie O'Donnell or whatever. But yeah, no, when I watch with my friends, I'm kind of annoying where I'm in the background being like, oh, that's Peter Dinklage and my friends were always like, oh yeah, you're right. Now that you say it, that is Peter Dinklage.
Starting point is 00:12:11 That's very good. Yeah, I mean, getting a Dinklage on an animation is very good. I mean, the best I've got is I noticed the voice, because we listen to a lot of audiobooks, like Disney ones, because they get little kids. So you do listen to a lot of animated, kind of like story books,
Starting point is 00:12:25 but just the, they kind of take it from the movie. When he the poo, whoever that guy is, he also appears as the snake in the jungle book earlier. I just don't know the name. That's the, my biggest climb to fame is nailing that. Okay, I've set up a game here, Eric. We're gonna have six different actors, in actresses, but let's just call
Starting point is 00:12:46 them electors. And you're going to hear them, but Hamish has the chance to block you. So Hamish is the lay person in this. He's the control. If you guess, say Richard gear, if I revert to Hamish and he'd already written down Richard gear when he heard it, you can knock at the point for that. You'll need four out of six. Okay, four out of six. Okay. That's fair because I get the chance to steal. I would say I am a C-plus skill at this. I'm right in the every man slot here, the average Joe's. Basically what everyone does, which is I do know that voice. I mean, you're Richard, I do know that voice, and you hear Richard Giga, that's what I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Richard Giga, which just proves you've heard Richard Giga before it doesn't mean you can get it. And the other part of it is, which is gonna make it slightly trickier. These are the actors in interviews. I didn't do any characters. I didn't want the lion to give away who it actually is,
Starting point is 00:13:44 because you said you could recognize them on voice alone. You have to do with that. Eric? That's totally fair. I just one request. I would like to have a chance to go for an eight coin coin. I know that's going to be very hard, but I desperately want to have more Bitcoin than the six most important person on the podcast. Eric, congratulations. You just don't yourself is shot at an 8-coin. If you get sick, if you get the full slate. Yeah, okay. Yeah, you can take home an 8-coin, but that would be ferociously impressive.
Starting point is 00:14:12 Okay, that's the end of the fair. You ready to go, Rick? I'm ready to go. He's an angel rich again. Oh, Eric knows. Sorry. Eric knows. I thought we were doing it double while I pulled out for the bit we were, Andy sang Eric knows. Eric.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Okay, let's hear the first actor. But everything else is being a learned skill. Unfortunately, you only can figure out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's right. I was like, I had got to do that for a little bit. He's right. He's right. That was so good.
Starting point is 00:14:58 Eric Weldon, I'm going to... Hey, I missed him having. I could see on his eyes. He didn't happen. He was. I mean, I was... All that was going on in my head was whoever was in charge of recognizing that the voice had abandoned his desk and I was starting to formulate how I would ask to hear it again. All right.
Starting point is 00:15:16 So, what I'm going to do though, Eric, is we'll hear it out, Hamish will write his down and then I'll get your answer. But you won't find it. Can we change this slightly? Let's do a race to the voice. Except for, let's randomly pick the fourth voice. I get first crack at number four. Because then it's, yeah, to get six,
Starting point is 00:15:36 I'm gonna get one of these. Like I might have got Tom Hanks. But I want to hear Eric. I think we all want him to have a shot at six. So let's only give me the chance to go first on... But he'll be going first on all of them. It's just whether you've got the answer. Yeah, but that's the thing.
Starting point is 00:15:51 If I get the answer, I will probably get one, won't I? Okay. Okay. You're looking at the voices. You choose the way that you get the correct answer. No, no, I can't hear you. Eric's fighting chance. Well, he's definitely more of a chance at the eight coin coin, if you,
Starting point is 00:16:06 with this new method of the fact that he jumps in. So let's give him the chance at the eight coin coin. Let's do it, right? Okay. So you can jump in Eric, except for the fourth voice, where we give Hayamish a crack, okay? Okay, that's unfair. Here comes the second.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Yes, we have a big team, and so we went to do the show. We had certain subjects that we wanted to learn more about and ask questions about whether you know sort of emerging in fields of science and in some cases alternative medicine Charlie no no Female female twice In case you didn't know it's a female, do you have any thoughts? That one is starting to stump me.
Starting point is 00:16:47 So I may end up losing my coin coin. I guess maybe I'll say, I know it's wrong, but I'll say Julia Roberts. I'm, that's not. I'm looking at me like you, you're a clue. I'm not giving you a clue. No, well, I mean, you've jumped in first there, and I'll just jump in with a cheeky shally throwoff.
Starting point is 00:17:11 It's Gwyneth Paltrow. Paltrow. Yes, that is very goopy. Gwyneth Paltrow. Sorry, which means let's go back to the original format now. Yep. You can't get the eight. We're going to hear it out.
Starting point is 00:17:25 I was palatry. How you wish you were right? We'll hear it. This is number three. He was an ordinary kid from New Jersey or whatever. And he becomes this phenomenon and it just keeps going. It doesn't stop. It just keeps going and going and going.
Starting point is 00:17:37 And now he's been making one of the biggest movie stars in the world for 25 years. I mean, that's a lot. And I say to myself, maybe this is religion, or maybe this is a philosophy that helped him to negotiate that space. Is it? Okay, I've written my, damn, my guess. Eric?
Starting point is 00:17:56 I'm gonna say Alec Baldwin. Hey, Mish. Alec Baldwin? Is that what you got? He didn't wait, baby! Alec Baldwin! He's a watcher on his face. Small one. Is that what you got? Read it and wait baby. Alec balled. He's a watcher run and so small. I was running. I was unsure if I... They're being at me. You can. Sorry, Eric. Yeah, I got balled one, but, gee, that's not your 30 rock balled
Starting point is 00:18:16 one, though. Oh, they're both. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Sorry, man. Okay, and you need to get everything here now, Eric. I feel bad that I've now stolen. I don't like that it's not all in my control, but, man. Okay, and you need to get everything here now, Eric. I feel bad that I've now stolen. I don't like that it's not all in my control, but I understand. Okay, let's move on to fourth voice. Um, but I was in Dubai in 2004 and went to the top of this building with my wife and on this helicopter pad
Starting point is 00:18:40 and walked out and it was one of those, I went full lizard brain and I realized, oh my God, I am, you mean you're just froze. I completely froze. I couldn't, I was those, I went full lizard brain and I realized, oh my God, I am... You mean you just froze? I completely froze. I couldn't, I was like, I couldn't physically move. It was crazy. Eric?
Starting point is 00:18:53 That's mad, Danie. It is mad, David. Hey, Michelle, has it as well? He's happy to himself. He's so sorry. And I dropped my pen during it. So I was scrambling around on the ground to try and get the pen back in time.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Have I been unfair? The reason I'm doing this is because if we don't have a layperson up against him, we don't have the control. But, but what about the speed? What is the speed? The speed, right? Okay, well, let's keep going again. I think we go back to fast. I mean, I know this is the third rule change we've had I think we go back to faster. I mean, I know this is odd. This is the third rule change we've had before half-car. Yeah. I just want to share this is like watching a brand new sports, the XFL.
Starting point is 00:19:31 No one knows how to play it. Yeah. OK, the new rule changes this. It's back to a speed game because I do think I got that. But I think Eric would have been faster. Yeah. I think we've got to give some credit to speed. I think he's right.
Starting point is 00:19:44 OK, but what if in in trying to be speedy, he's only one answer only, that's the sport. I mean, that's that's soccer. Jack, are you happy with that? I'm happy with that. Okay, you can't go, you can't go, can I have the ball back, please, as I try to kick it too far?
Starting point is 00:19:57 I would have got it, even if I could have taken my time a bit more. Okay, this is the new sport. All right, let's go on to, what are we up to, Jack, I'm number five. Number five. Okay, is it, on to, what are we up to, Jack, I go number five. Number five. Okay, is it, if he gets the next two with speed, he's back in coin town?
Starting point is 00:20:10 Yeah, because he's only two to go. So he's only two to go. Yeah, let's do it. And it was a surprise that I actually slipped into this place of gratitude. Like going, well, you know, if it's gotta end, it's like, what a life, what an incredible life so far is. It's Jim Carey. Amazing. And I got to live on.
Starting point is 00:20:30 It's wrong. I knew I was wrong. Is it Jim Carey? It is Jim Carey. It is Jim Carey. I didn't expect it. It's me. Well, not that past, but not just not so past, but I'd accidentally kick it into the Tom Cruise Gold. So, I've created a confusing game, but you're right. We all have. What I've proven though is maybe I've been going hard enough actors, or you're better at, or look, I guess what we're proving is Eric's not better than a layperson.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Well, let's go for the last. I think the difficult spiel that you're struggling with at the moment, that's just gagging on you. The back of your throat is that you can't say the word, like you actually pretty good at this, mate. Well, no. He's not small, what if that's not the tough, field of small work?
Starting point is 00:21:18 How do you feel about that? I mean, you've got a way to play, you've got, you've got a way to play, if I have to, but what if it's to for, dear God, I can't afford to lose. What, what I see is, how you, she's got two, I think, Eric's got two. Three, babe. Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon, Jim Carey,
Starting point is 00:21:35 Oh yeah, that's fair, but it's still kind of like, their A-list actors, I kind of feel like it's what people's game every day was. These game is very easy and retrospecting, I think. In the trenches, it's hard. Because I do agree that Eric's not good at it. Oh, actually now I'd like to go into that for Eric.
Starting point is 00:21:50 That's hard. He's listening down a phone. He's listening down a phone. You've got a high fidelity. Okay, let's go the last one. Let's not go the jump in. Oh, I'm sorry. Not at all, because the thing is,
Starting point is 00:22:02 it's stacked in your favor. You're hearing it. He's hearing down the phone, he's on delay. Okay, you know what, we go fast. We go the whole thing. And he, if he gets it and you don't get it, I mean, you can't get a coin now. No coin.
Starting point is 00:22:15 But this is for, this is for honor. If he gets it and you don't get it this last one, orders probably restored a little bit. And if I do get it, if you get it, I will say that I do acknowledge. Yeah, I mean, you'll be a, you if you get it, I will say that it will have to acknowledge. Yeah, I mean, you'll need a big, a gold per water to get this killed down there. Because it's better.
Starting point is 00:22:31 And if you could just follow it. You could write down what you'd like, the praise you'd like. All right, I'd like you to please from the heart. Oh, it's not going to be from the way. OK, here's the last one. Number six, come on Eric. I'll try. You know, this shoe the last one. Number six. Come on, Eric. I'll try. You know, this shoe was really great.
Starting point is 00:22:47 I was so happy they asked about, you know, it being a family picture. And it's now more than ever. I mean, family is everything, isn't it? I mean, it's, you know, at the end of the day when you boil it all down, like we're all doing what we can by staying in to protect our unit. Eric, floor is yours.
Starting point is 00:23:06 I've got bad news for your ad though. I don't know it. Well, a home has to get it for the prize, but... Who did you think, Eric? Eric, you should go for a high-well-mary at least, Eric. Although, hang on, I'll put a high-well-mary. I think I'll copy you. I think Eric.
Starting point is 00:23:22 When you read a down here? My hell of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-kitty copy of. You're a hands-k She started a little Roberts, he didn't achieve it by the end I knew it wasn't Roberts, but I was hoping it was Julia Roberts on an off day. And token of no value is heading your way, Eric. The room victor is me. I'm having a bit of a homie-shedding phrase. I got one from six. I got three from six. Very impressive. But I'm watching neither of us could get the job done on an interesting day boost sport,
Starting point is 00:24:04 where it would be a confusing post match interview to go well obviously the rule changes me game we're interesting there are three or four of them not the offer do you see that there's more Eric was a lot of fun though thank you mate be safe tears bud thank you guys see you then guys. See you then. Music Hey, orders are coming in for the power moves book. Pre orders are booming. That's great. Not at the 4 million mark yet. Amishani.com if you would like to guarantee your copy of the book.
Starting point is 00:24:38 And then you've got that little, there is the carrot. You know that every you order, every copy you buy, you're one step closer to us hitting that magic 4 million mark. I promise by the people of the show, so it's really your problem. It's on the listeners. Yep. You guys click the clicker 4 million times to tell us we'd sell that many. Once we hit that 4 million mark, everyone gets a $10 cashback.
Starting point is 00:24:58 $10 cashback. At $33, I believe. Pretty cashback. Is the price. 23 after cash back. We should point out that if you've got a loyalty card, you've got the promo code there, which is just, I have a loyalty card.
Starting point is 00:25:14 You put that code in. You get 10% off? Five-ghosts, right back to us. Now, that's important. We do consider for a while the joke of having teething issues. We're selling the file. We're glad to report.
Starting point is 00:25:31 We have no TV issue. Hawks joins us. Someone in the street asked me, that sounds like a good book. And I said, well, you should hear from the publisher as to how good it is. I've made up that high-pitched scenario, but what I did want to get you up for Hawks is, you were telling me some things about the book
Starting point is 00:25:54 that I didn't realize. Andy's led me to believe Hawks that we have a premium book. Well, there's been no expense period on this one. Wow. Well, really it's gone top of the shelf, basically. Tell tell tell tell Hey, what we've got on the front cover, what kind of paper or cardboard we're using.
Starting point is 00:26:17 Well, it's not cardboard, it's all there's a carbon fiber. It is actuallycelain. There's a good three millimeter reward wrapped with a matte lamination paper. So yeah, so and then on the cover, you've got a bit of a spot you've made, which is what you did. Which is basically a glass on the cover. Just so it just makes that little shell on when it's just sitting on the coffee. Yeah, that's it. Matt Lemonation and Spot UV. So it's Matt and Shining. I don't think that's
Starting point is 00:26:51 ever been done before. Oh, it's crazy. And the great thing is because it's a coffee-double book, it will be resting a lot, a lot of books are shelf books. And so they sit up, um, spine out. But our book, um, will be lying flat, is a lazy book, it's a different way of presenting. So we do want the surface of the book to brilliantly reflect its surroundings. Because Horg sent me through this thing and he said it is the cover, right? And to me, it just looked like two big blobs were like with an outline of the of the words and stuff I was like, mate, this doesn't make any sense. He's like, no, that's the spot you be. They're the bits that are going to be glossy. So there are parts that are glossy and parts that are matte.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Because really, a coffee table book has to have that confidence over an attractive person at a beach. Where normal books stand nervously, much like I did as a teenager, nervously in a crowd. In a group, and they don't really want to be looked at. But coffee table books are hotties. They were just lying there back.
Starting point is 00:27:43 They didn't have a beach, didn't in an hour. Go in an hour for. Go in an hour for. Am I super hot? I hadn't noticed. Going for a swim. Go for a dip left right in the center. Just going to cool down. Hogs tell our Hayne about the little bit of tape
Starting point is 00:27:54 what it's called in the spine. Tell me about the tape. Of the head and tail bands. That's obviously, that's an extra as well. We haven't charged for it in the 33. But it's getting a free. People are getting a free head and tail man drive away. It's it's it's a bit of cotton which which covers part of the ugly part of the spine and right now, right on the top and the bottom.
Starting point is 00:28:24 Yeah, yeah, yeah. So just when you're looking, when you're looking, when the sitting on the coffee table, right, side on, when you're sitting, sitting at the couch, and when you can just see the paper, the paper just flows right into the head and toe of bands. Oh, that's good. So instead of seeing any glue down the spine, which you'd see on regular books, this band covers it. Can't see a single vertebrae.
Starting point is 00:28:48 Yeah. It's just right at the top of the neck and the coccyx, it's covered. And what color do we decide in that one again, Hawke? Um, it was a bit of, I think it was blue and more. Yeah, that's classic, yeah, I'm excited. Yeah, yep. And then what about the page quality themselves holds?
Starting point is 00:29:07 Oh, very good. Very good. You can either. You could eat off it. You're normal. You're normal bit of paper where you take to the printer or write off. Not only about AEDGSM, AEDGSM, this one is 140 GSM. Wow.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Be able to lift it. So I did not expect that. When we put the order and I didn't think we'll have GSMs in the 140s. Yeah. I thought high 80s. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:36 I'm in a herd of three digit GSMs. Say with other books that you print hogs, is that you have a, have you ever done a 140 GSM? No, you know, we do, and he's kicked the book. And what are they print at? Oh, we would not use 140 on that. Ah, that, that, that, I mean, you said to me, this is a, we're producing a no expense paid book,
Starting point is 00:29:59 but down the other end of the spectrum, what do you got those? No, I've been doing those books just cheering about like a sausage dough. No, no, no, no. But those boxes churning them out like a sausage, oh. We don't have head or tail bed. We don't have it. The biggest thing is the month out by Ailey would be overseeing those expenses with a fine eye.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Lose the chance in their children. Give them life, they just have lovely price point for children. That's what it is. Don't give them any. Only who 128 DSM, right? So this is 140. So it is still very good. Sure. It's a lot better than normal. Yeah, yeah. We've just, for this one, the Lux Coffee Table book, we have to go to the next step. You do have to, you have to absolutely wow people.
Starting point is 00:30:29 And then, and when people unbox it, is it like opening a product from Apple or something, where you just go, well, geez, this is something special? They'll feel it, they'll know it. Oh, well, what about the packaging? Do you want to tell me that? Haven't told him yet that... I'll write a year about packaging. ...spot boxes made up to ensure no damages.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Wow. Absolutely. We've got a, like basically, I like to call it a tube of Corrigate Board or a Corrigate Board that goes around, which is about two centimeters, which goes around the whole book. And then every single book is in a carton, in a separate carton, ship down to the customer zero damages guaranteed. That's a nice for you to guarantee that. So what you're saying really when you buy a book is buy a book at a free carton because people, do they have to return those cartons? No, they're not.
Starting point is 00:31:40 You can keep the carton. Yeah, absolutely. There's actually a two for one together you know? So here we go. The quality on this is outstanding. Just like I do the shopping list like John O'Colton. I'm doing it to the top of the shop. I've got 140 GSM, Matlan, spot UV. We've got a cotton tail and what's that? Is it tail and top?
Starting point is 00:32:01 Head and tail bands. So a hidden tail bands and a carton, bespokely built two-centimeter corregate tube cart. You can tell that when you hold the book forks, they're a heft to it. Oh, you just feel quality. Yeah, you do. So, what people are going to experience?
Starting point is 00:32:20 Now, whether people, whether customers here that are buying this are in touch of the common man or have lost touch with the common man, what is going to happen when the male, man or woman hands over that package to them, they will have no choice but to say to the customer, must be nice. Because you're not the common man getting a book like that in the mail. You know, for that moment, getting such a book was so much heft, you will feel like an absolute king or queen of the mail. Are you? You're not. For that moment, getting such a book was so much heft. You will feel like an absolute king or queen of the world.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Oh, thanks for joining us. I really appreciate it. Pulling out all the stops. You've done an amazing job. HainiShaney.com, if you want, are interested in purchasing the power moves book as we track towards 5 million and everyone gets the $10 cashback. Or for 4 million. Just up to $10.4 million.
Starting point is 00:33:04 $10.4 cash. Or 4 million, just up to $10 million. $10 million cash back, $4 million. Just a hand free carton with every book. Two for one deal. See you, bud. Two for one deal. Two for one deal. Two for one deal. Hey, look, I'm perplexed.
Starting point is 00:33:19 What's happened with this? It's a loyalty card update. Yep. Obviously, the government tried to launch COVID app and it had some eating issues. Sure. I think it's better though now, isn't it? Oh yeah, I think so.
Starting point is 00:33:34 Well mine seems to be working. Yep, it tells me, I'm still getting, I mean I don't get it told you. It doesn't go, oh, yesterday you went for, you know, you went for a stroll around the block. Man and a blue hat past you. You were right to be suspicious. Yeah, that's what I was hoping. I would like a bit more that tells me, it's just like, hey, keep it on, it's helping us out. Which I back. I'd love an alert that just goes,
Starting point is 00:33:58 like I mean, calls or something. And it just goes, guess what? 15 minutes ago, you wouldn't have wanted to be here. Yeah, you want the positive sliding door stories to go, oh, I see from your calendar that you were meant to go to beach, but you know, because of lockdown, you didn't smart. One of the life-saving flights. You know, there was a way all down there with the covered in COVID.
Starting point is 00:34:20 So they overcame T-T thing in your face? So you know, say one more thing on the app. I don't know if anyone else did this, but I had a lot of fun. The day it came out when my wife downloaded it of, I go on the iPhone and putting on an alarm that was sounded like an alert. And I go, yeah, it's good, you know,
Starting point is 00:34:37 the app is good. It will let you know if you're in contact with someone. That's, and then the alarm would go off. And then I got a few times going, I think, yeah, it was good, Jack. You know, got to make your own phone doing what they have to do. One thing that people aren't experienced is the opposite of fun. It's disappointment. And our loyalty card is having more teething issues. It still works. Very much like the app. It's always worked. It's just having teething issues. It's just having teething issues.
Starting point is 00:35:05 It's just having teething issues, and more than we expected, we knew you roll out a global discount, mutually beneficial discount program. Exactly. And you are going to have the odd pain in the tooth. But we would have thought they would sort of die out in the first few weeks, much like real teething. A baby teethees, the tooth comes through, everything's fine. We're surprised to find essentially a 10 year old TV.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Yeah. Well, you're TV, they should be in by now. We're curious as to why there are these TV issues. We really appreciate people getting in touch with us, letting us know that there are some stores that are beginning to get on our nerves. We're, I think we've been super lenient in this kind of like rollout stage. But it's been long enough.
Starting point is 00:35:47 And I wouldn't say we're at the stage now where we're moving to the next part after teething issues, where we're becoming, we're getting a bit fed up with some stores who refuse to get on board or to iron out the kinks that they're in. But we are, we're probably moving in that direction aren't we? Absolutely. Hi Lads, Cam from camera. I tried the HNA loyalty card at Kingston Super Barn and not going to lie I was pretty keen for that 40 cents off my weekly milk. Of course giving 20 cents back to them but unfortunately they're having teething issues. The HNA loyalty card was met with a confused look
Starting point is 00:36:23 shake of the head and a Bit of a wave away, so I'm gonna keep trying and I'll let you know. It's Rowan here from Kenmore in Brisbane. I've just experienced some teething issues at a local's or aphys. The manager at the counter didn't recognize the limited edition of Delcart and even after I explained that I'd be giving them right back 5%, which is why it's the card that stores love, she still wouldn't help me or herself. The whole time a junior in the back who was clearly on board with the card just stood there laughing to himself and didn't help out the manager,
Starting point is 00:36:54 which I'm sure would have earned him a promotion for getting them onto the stores that honor the card list and getting back heaps of extra 5% for your loyal listeners. It's Jeremy from WA. I'm trying to use the loyalty card when buying a jug of beer at the University of Western Australia tab and staff had not been informed of the card by upper management and didn't accept it. Poor uni students can't catch a break. Hoi boys, just try to out the card in the 5th Avenue Apple Store in New York City. I am gutted to have to announce that they do appear to have teething issues, but I know Ando is undoubtedly made to some of the highrups. So fingers crossed, he'll pull a few strings. Hey guys, it's Lily from England. I'm sad to report that the Hobbit pub in the UK is having teething problems. Upon explaining the card was told, so with this 5% off, I'm gonna put it back on the bill, denying me of my discount.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Proudly supported my Hamish-Nandy loyalty card at Nara Boost, juice the other day. They're obviously having some teething issues down there. She laughed at me and told me it was definitely a joke, but the jokes on her, she doesn't get that juicy 5% back. And she must've took my order and gave me a lot instead of a medium. So I'm obviously a winner there, but would be nice to see them on the card that stores love. It's Mitchell from Campbelltown.
Starting point is 00:38:09 I tried to use the loyalty card at Woodbine Porto. They went to Scanet, but the computer wasn't registering it as a loyalty card and not giving me that discount. They must be having teething issues. It just must be their computers. I'm sure they'll work it out very soon. William here from North Lakes Queensland. Just wanted to let you guys know that I care up here in North Lakes. It seems to be having some teething issues with the Hamish Nandy loyalty card. The lady said
Starting point is 00:38:34 she didn't know she'd never seen it before but she thought she'd give it a try. She scanned the card, the QR code. Luckily, hello didn't play on the register. But yeah, apparently they're not accepted, so such a tragedy. I was half hoping it would send the bill to Adele. Yeah. Might be a drawback to all the waste to egg in the card. So that is a bummer to hear of these issues. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:57 Again, we thank everyone with their patience, certainly on the Lord, he has a whole side of things, because you're all doing the right thing. What are we next week just give a little ring around? Maybe start with the King's. I've seen a Super Barn. I've seen a few boosts come in, Andy. That's not the first instance of a boost juice,
Starting point is 00:39:12 not accepting the card. Really? I don't want to throw any one organization under the bus. I know we've been a bit critical of Amazon, and I hear from a good source, they are working hard to change their game. You'll get onto Apple. So we've got most of the NASDAQ covered.
Starting point is 00:39:27 Boost concerns me because this is a pattern of rejection, a pattern of teething issues from Boost. And I just, yeah, I'm just, I'm baffled by this. I think a lot of it falls into two categories. Tech issues and management. And both need to sharpen up. And it's really management. And that's what we're going to have to say to the managers
Starting point is 00:39:47 when we get on to them to go, your job to update the system. It's your job to run the computers. You're the manager. Have we put the wrong person in charge? You should. Yeah. You put it back on the menu.
Starting point is 00:39:58 Yeah. Have we? Have we put the wrong person in this happening? Yep. Okay. And start embracing the stores. We'll get out of the stores. We'll get on to that next thing.
Starting point is 00:40:05 Keep your feet back coming in, really, appreciate it. Okay. Hey, we heard earlier from Hawgs the, how the lucks the book is. Good, nice to meet you. I'm usually a dot com if you want to get a pre order in, but. What a book. There is so many, obviously, I mean, actually, people have mentioned us also. I never thought the breakfast television,
Starting point is 00:40:29 I could ever do breakfast television. But actually, this persona of being a master by a book that I knew about, I feel like I could do it. Goodness, Mandy, what a book. Tell me a little bit more. Wow, we, well, good on you. Thanks to Mike, he's doing all the hard work out there. Absolutely, Salute, you make good on your buddy.
Starting point is 00:40:45 All right, coming up next, you got Bob, you're running for work. Check that traffic. Couple of people are still asking about Trevijés. I'm not sure whether we're going to be able to... Well, you had an idea to obviously have the Trevijé launch the book in a foot race, wasn't it? A canowated French catapult. A pressure-per-trenching.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Or a catapult. Then we wanted a foot race for the first book, both the male and female foot race. That's right. I think it's going to be hard to coordinate during these times. I'd love to see it. Do we have people sending how fast was the foot race going? Trebris J. I was going to try the book about 50 meters. Well, the book would get launched out and then everyone would run. If you can be bothered, go down to your local part. Yeah. Measure out 50. Give us your fastest 50 times. Yeah. And be honest.
Starting point is 00:41:36 I mean, I'm not accusing anyone of low honesty with the clicker system for expressions of interest. Tell us your fastest 50. And maybe we could conduct a virtual race. It could be nice. We'll consider that but hey, in the meantime, we've still got so many coming in, enough for volume 2. Of course, we'll be released somewhere around the 2028 region. Yes, it'll be not Tokyo Olympics, of course, but soon after that, hopefully they'll just keep getting pushed back to 2028. And from Phil, Palmove works at any social gathering
Starting point is 00:42:13 where you're the guest, EG, a party. When making your way out at the end of the night, quickly do a lap. Thank people for coming and say you heard they had a great time. Because this way, it looks like you're party. And great time. Because it looks like your party. And when you imagine it, it really does. Yeah, like it follows it your place and I was doing a lap and I'm just checking some things a lot for coming tonight, mate.
Starting point is 00:42:32 Like, hope you had a nice night. I love it. You can repeat that over and over bathing in the glory. Alex here, him, COVID power move for people that are working at a home when someone else in their home is also working from home. Occasionally walk past and look over their laptop or computer. If you hover long enough, they'll definitely turn around. At that point, give it a proving nod and say, keep it up. And from Nick Pitterhardt, I've got a bit of a power out of that I think, TV more towards the asshole side of things.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Now having finished the book, we can, is there even a, I mean, early days we took about doing a half legend movie, the half ass omassol moves. It's almost 95-5. There's a couple more assos. Awesome. Yes, certainly. There's a couple of ones that are softer in the touch. Yeah. He's, yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:43:34 Like less of an assol move. It's still a little bit assol. This is from Nick. He goes, I got a pound move that I think's tipping towards the assos. If you're a rounded group of your mates and one of them does something, generous, IE shouts you lunch Um, rather than saying thank you Respond with thanks now or even
Starting point is 00:43:50 This implies that they weren't doing something generous. They were just paying you back for the time you've done so nice to them If they say even for what say hmm, I'll give you 24 hours to see if you remember 24 hours to see if you remember. Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!
Starting point is 00:44:07 Ah! Like it. Ah! Ricky Nolan here, him. Slightly longer one. Works best in a pub slash party terrain. Gotcha. When chatting with a small group, there's always a person that comes up and says, what are
Starting point is 00:44:21 you talking about? Yep. This is the great time to say, we're doing a compliment circle. Tell them, they've just each gone, doing a compliment for each other. They'll inevitably ask to join in which you go, okay, well, you kick it off.
Starting point is 00:44:38 They go around and we'll give everyone in the circle that's complimented you. You laugh and don't give the one back. LAUGHTER MUSIC Oh, we're doing a nice chance for a free comment. And, hey. When you are leaving to go somewhere with another person,
Starting point is 00:44:59 ask loudly, do you need to do a wee before we go? LAUGHTER There's a good two party, guys. Do you need to do a wee. Are these the other ones? This is from Lockhe. Similar when you're leaving. Yeah, great. Work-based power move. Best if you've just started work there.
Starting point is 00:45:35 Good. If you're younger than your boss, when it comes to your home, ask, are you all right to get home? It makes it look like they haven't learned to drive yet. Or they're going to have worries on the way back. I'll like it. Listen up.
