I mean, even in Man Everest, there's not public. So I was able to pitch in farmland, sort of low bush surrounds, scrub land, yep, really. I was able to park nearby and hike to the camping spot. And we cooked our food on an

open fire. Very safe, of course. Did all protocols, went to bed, put my sun to bed, I slept well. It was a slightly uncomfortable night. I realized in the morning we'd switched our air mattresses, that's why mine felt very thin and I was annoyed because I had spent top dollar on an adult mattress, a very lightweight, compactible air bed, and my son slept like an absolute king.

On what I now realize is a king size single adult air bed. But anyway, that's the fun of camping. You're out there, you're rough on it. You're doing your best. And we broke camp in the morning, packed up our tent. Where we'll do our hike back to the curl and had a great time. Great.

So yes, did I camp under the legal definition? I'm sure if someone could get the dictionary definition. Yeah, we stayed in a tent outside. we cooked our food on an open fire. Yep.
