Starting point is 00:00:00 A list-nuff production. Activate your internet. Cos the Hamish and the podcast starts in 3, 2, sorry, still buffering. 1. A hoi to me first chair, Hamish. Very good. A hoi to me sixth desk. Jack O'Bat Seen.
Starting point is 00:00:31 There we go, that little upper six. That's the one. Yes. First and foremost. If I was the conductor, where would you think we were? Well, I'd say it's like I'm up at the, wherever I am, I'm up the back of the classroom with the cool kids and Hamish is sitting up the front. Oh, I'm sitting on the front because I've entered, man, I'm first violin.
Starting point is 00:00:49 He's absolutely right. We are part of an orchestra and the first chair is the lead instrument. Yeah. Your sixth desk, Jack, you know what that means? Sixth zylophone. So there's five more guys on zylophone. It's the back. It's the back row of violins or cellos,
Starting point is 00:01:05 like just making up numbers. I mean, if violin is a violin, they all sound as loud as each other. But you're not leading anything. No, you're not leading anything. Everything's always. Yeah. Not really.
Starting point is 00:01:15 You're fleshing it out. Also a boy to Chappelle, who use the easy to use system at HamishNew.com to upload what you've been up to. Oh, hi boys. Chappelle Corby here. I'm just about to leave Australia, headed to Bali. Hopefully by the time I get there this audio clip is uploaded. I just hope I have a really good trip. I haven't been there in a while. Excuse me, Dale. You might just take your nirax. I'll be boardbag for me.
Starting point is 00:01:45 My family and I don't have any carry on kilos left. If you could just take that, that would be great. Oh yeah, no worries, I've got plenty of space. I don't see any issues with that. I don't think any issues will horror a laugh. I think you'll be wrong. Anyway, sorry guys. Anyway, hope it's a great trip.
Starting point is 00:02:03 And yeah, hope this could get you well Oh a fascinating insight into a moment of time shedding new light off the case Oh dear um, the character work great, no Same as for change the jump between the two of the Topical snappy you know, typical time, obviously, when it was uploaded. No, really interesting, you know, certainly adds a new perspective. Shines of light.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Shines of light on what happened. What really happened to you, Phil Corby? I'm, there's a segment in this show that we rarely do because we're so worried. Yeah, that it won't be good enough. You don't mess with this. You know the one I'm talking. You take it out very, very rarely. This is the good plates'm talking. You take it out very, very, very rarely.
Starting point is 00:02:46 This is the good plates. You take this out a couple of times a year. And to continue the good plates analogy, if you drop them, luckily for you, they will probably end unbroken standing on one end. Good plates because it is incredible drops. Incredible drops. Incredible drops.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Stories about people dropping things and the things are landing in incredible drops. Incredible drops. Incredible drops. Stories about people dropping things and the things are landing in incredible ways. Not being caught. No, not being caught. But landing in very improbable ways. We risk it, we bring it back, because we know as soon as there's a drop that's dull, we probably will have to bend this segment forever.
Starting point is 00:03:21 But it's back again today, and we start with Vinny. Or, or do you, Vinny? Or, are we boys? Vinny, where about you? Auckland. Nice one. Talk us through your incredible drop. All right.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Well, I was painting outside of Mate House and I was up a ladder using the brush. Yeah. When I wasn't using the brush, I would tuck it into my waistband. Are you a professional painter? I was like, no, no, no. Teach a primary school teacher. Okay, okay. But for a mate.
Starting point is 00:03:48 What kind of brush? And I don't know. Sometimes I'm a horse here, brush. Oh, yeah. High quality. Yeah. Oh, very nice. No human hair, the nicest.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Yeah. Awesome. Yep. Yes, continue. I tuck it into my waistband. Dangerous to tuck a paintbrush with painted into your waist Bristles up bristles up. Okay, bristles up, but I assume you you're enclosed at a covered in paint So it doesn't matter if it gets on your shirt. Yeah, for sure for sure
Starting point is 00:04:15 But I was outside up a letter Paintbrush in their risky or not. It was a tuck them And as I reached out the brush fell out of my waistband down on the ground and I was thinking for sure it was going to be covered in mud, painting it on the outside of the house. I looked down and total shock and or shock and or I see that it's sticking perfectly upright not a bristle touching the ground. How? It landed like in the mud, handle jagged into the mud.
Starting point is 00:04:43 It landed between a tree root and the edge of a letter. A million point top. It's a million to one and it preserved the integrity of the clean paint. Will you nervous getting down from the ladder? Because obviously if that's wedging the paintbrush. Yeah. I think I was full of adrenaline. I ran around trying to get you run to come look at it, but walking to a paintbrush just upright doesn't is Christmas evening. That's right.
Starting point is 00:05:14 That is how. That is sticking definitely more exciting than just have a look at this upright paintbrush. But that's almost the hallmark of an incredible draw. Yes, that's the test. It's like, did you feel an unfitable urge to go and get people? And that's what tells us to sit in a critical draw. That is incredible.
Starting point is 00:05:35 I mean, I'm not a bristle out of place. Diny, well done. And that's why we only bring this segment back when we feel it has to be that good. Because Luke, uh, how do you look? A whole new year. Here you go. Very well.
Starting point is 00:05:48 We've just heard an incredible drop where a paintbrush landed pointing upright and didn't have the paint on the ground or any mud in the horse here. It must be nice. Uh, brush, um, uh, talk us through what yours was. So I was, um, we had a dinner party the other night and, um, I thought I'd get a jump on the next day and just do the dishes that night.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Okay. Everyone's still around. And I don't use gloves when I do the dishes because I'm f**king loose. Yeah, the main area. Just, just, just, just, him out, out, out, out, out, out. He's got time for the rubber. Just risk it. So once I finish the dishes, it comes down to stack the dishwasher.
Starting point is 00:06:22 I'll stack the dishwasher and I go to put the tablet in and because I have a lot of stuch as well our tablets we need to unpack still. Grab the tablet from under the sink, untie it, open it up. It's a little little little package like singular package tablet. Yes, I think in that he's lost touch. If you were pouring a powder in, tablet. Yes, yes. I think in that he's lost touch. If you were pouring a powder in, powder pours through, through through in the touches. Yes, but you mean you don't know one of the gel ones. Right. Yeah. No, yeah. So like you don't have to package them. You just put them straight in a dishwasher. Yeah, yeah, that is, that is a supreme. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:06:59 you're more in the bourgeoisie. You're not upper class, you're more middle class than this. Yes, okay. So as I grab it from under the sink, I turn my body and I'm opening it as I turn. And then halfway around to the dishwasher, it opens and drops out and lands straight in the little tablet. So I fell from about three full of high, like waist up. Yeah, wow. And it's just crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:26 And then pressed out. Oh, you were just so efficient. You've got the time saving from no gloves. Yeah, then the time saving of knowing you've been down and put the tablet in by hand. It's like watching in golf where the ball goes straight in. Yes, it's like that. It's like, yeah, what just happened? No, but it's nothing. It just sits in there.
Starting point is 00:07:46 And I'll straight back to the dinner party. Well done. And then I went, gee, you're early back early. What's going on in there? Do you forget to put the tablet in? No, no, it's in. Did you want to tell everyone immediately, I imagine? They heard because no one was in the kitchen at the time, but they heard the experiment coming to the assistant. That is an incredible backdrop. If people can hear the elation from another room entirely, yes, it counts.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Thank you, Luke. We've got time for one more. Mitch, a hoddy Mitch. Oh, hoi boys, and number six. Mitch, a hoi-doe-mitch. A hoi-boys, and number six, let's go. Mitch, talk us through your incredible drop. It's not my incredible drop, it was my wife. We were in the kitchen, she's taken the last egg from the cart, and so already, you know,
Starting point is 00:08:36 stakes are high, she fumbles it, it's rough, and it wedges in between her knee, and the kitchen counter, it doesn't break. Hang on, so did she try to catch it with an e-ha, did she squash up against, or did it just, she was standing that close to camera that it just... Okay, so there's like a slightly bent knee, but I definitely wouldn't say it was intentional.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I think maybe she would claim that some kind of spotty sense is there that she's instinctively grabbed it, but she would never be able to do it again. This is pretty incredible. So you're saying she's front on facing the bench? Yeah, it's like the knee cap, like a front on the way. I'll tell you, that's what I mean. The chances of that not rolling left or right are huge.
Starting point is 00:09:20 You have to hit that on exactly the right spot at the right softness, too. Exactly. It's a wedge. It's not like a cupping. It's a wedging it in between two. It's a pincing between a kneecap and a bench to be able to decelerate the egg to stop it, but not so fast that you break it. Yeah, from the incredible. And it's the last egg.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Yeah, that's an incredible. How's it incredible? What was the mood like after you saw this? Oh, we were just in disbelief. We looked at each other, we looked at the egg, we looked back at each other like, is this real life? Yeah, is this real? Yeah, are we dreaming?
Starting point is 00:09:54 This is heaven. This is absolutely amazing. I'll leave the matrix to the gutter, people. Feels like Nio wouldn't be even be able to do this. It's incredible. How are you seeing things before they happen? Thank you very much, Mitch. Work on the back.
Starting point is 00:10:12 MUSIC Jack, play the emergency meeting sound effect. He told me you didn't need it. All right, five, man. I'll do it. W-w-w-w-w. Emergency meeting. Sorry about that. Tell me you didn't need it. All right, five, man, I'll do it. Woo, woo, woo, woo, woo. And wordsy meeting. Sorry about that. I was hoping for it to sound better, but Jack wasn't prepared.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Yeah. Okay, thank you. I mean, just a bit of backstory, Jackson. So we're going into this emergency meeting. Hey, do you need anything from me? And you went, no, mate, that's fine. If we start the break by a robot Jack. And we go, Jack. We would never do that to you.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yes. What's an emergency meeting about? Chomp Choir Updough. Oh, gosh. Look, I'm feeling... This is a Chomp Choir Emergency Meeting. Sorry if I've seemed a little bit tired on today's show, but I've just come out of quite a strenuous or morning meeting.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Or a home with Carly. People will remember that the home you see, I'll take the reins for this. I said, I do logistics. I didn't say, I'd make this thing work. I said, I'll take care of logistics. Yeah. And I've been doing it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:12 I'm not going to tell you, I can't, I can't, I can't conjure up magic. Is our horse still running? If you're taking the reins of this, is our horse still running? What if you thought, have you ever had that thing where you thought a horse was resting? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I haven't seen the horse move for a while. A guy out of the footy, and a guy comes up to me and goes, Andy, I'd love to apply for the chomp choir.
Starting point is 00:11:50 And I went, really, he went, no. No. No. No. No. No. No. So, we laughed.
Starting point is 00:11:59 And laugh. We both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both, we both I'm giving the email version of that. This is where we left. We had the guy, Dan. He said, that's definitely a Peter out, isn't it? Oh my god. I'm doing a best. But Dan Shuggers came on. He chomped very well. He saw that.
Starting point is 00:12:13 We then got so excited off the back of that. And directly so that we went, could we get a lot of people like this to do an in-sync, doing Christmas carols at the Sydney Chomper House? Now, that had a lot of things that got us excited there. What that sentence actually means is, could we get a lot of people that can do this that are excited and then do it as city or browse if it's free?
Starting point is 00:12:34 And we should do this concept if all the pieces find the place. So we put the call out to people, do you want to be involved? Now, people expressed interest like, yeah, I would probably go and say that like I could be interested in saying that. The actual bulk of the choir. I'd like to acknowledge the, I would say, generously eight to ten people that gave us a sincere example of their ability
Starting point is 00:12:59 to chump and like Dan Shuggers came out and where I just can't believe this is being recognized as a thing. There will probably be a further 20 or so that responded. Saying that this just bored and wanted to be a part of something. Things like this, let me give you an example. Hey, if you guys are still after numbers or whatever for the Chum Choir, sure I'm up for it. That's not someone that can Chum.
Starting point is 00:13:21 No, right? No. You don't get that in other things, do you? Like, are you still putting on Hamilton at the Princess Theatre? I love hats. I'm willing to learn how to sing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Like someone else just, you know, yeah, I'll join the chomp choir. Yeah. Okay. That's not a huge passion. It's like, it's the equivalent of hey guys. This is another one from Megan. Hey, I was listening to Dave Grohl talk about learning to play the drums with these teeth
Starting point is 00:13:47 Sounded pretty familiar pretty similar to the Chunko. Google Dave Grohl teeth drumming Maybe he could get involved now. He has one of me. Okay. Well, this isn't that's not audition This is the equivalent of hey, there's sausages there's a sausage sizzle on the rooftop at work drop by if you want and grab one People go. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. And then later on you go, hey guys, all the left over sausages are in the kitchen. You go down there as one of those foil trays and there's 500,000 in there. Now that's fine. I actually think we did sausage fest. Now I'm excited about sausage fest. I think we should change the name. I don't. We get turn up. So here's where I'm at. So I'm colliding these.
Starting point is 00:14:26 I'm doing my very best doing all the gistics. I'm keeping the, we had a group that was performing at the upper house and they said you could use our afternoon slot, I had them on hold. But I've given it a few weeks to see where the natural interest is at, because some people take a few weeks to listen to the podcast. That's low. And this is me coming Comedy Guys, going, I've absolutely performed above and beyond.
Starting point is 00:14:49 I think we're just, we're just expires here collating the emails, sifting, reading, thinking. No other than that. You know what I'm disappointed with, I'm just going to put in the options there. And the fact of the matter is, you cannot create a bonfire without the sticks. There's not enough fuel in this fire.
Starting point is 00:15:08 Yeah. Doesn't matter how well you stack, you know, five sticks, you can't get a raging fire out of it. You know what I'm disappointed with, I'm about to be a jack, nothing. Is, just don't bring it up again. That's what a Peter at the end, no, no, no. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:15:23 Like, no, that's fine. It's beating in the spirit, especially this year, but I don't have a's what a Peter out here. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no're cold, we've done the, you know, we've got a 10 meter perimeter, put our rocks down, we've got marshmallows. Yeah, we have a blanket and we've loaded the authorities, we have the permit. I know, we're doing it. It's October, we just can't get it going. Yeah, we can't get it going. We're totally allowed to start it, we just cannot get it going.
Starting point is 00:16:00 And you're hoped for it because of course you promised the kids, you're going to have a big fire, you can go camping of a big fire. And you've got a couple of wet matches and a couple of logs that just weren't light. Now at some point, you have to go, okay, it's iPad time in the tents. And that's what we're doing. It's, I'm calling a Peter out.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I'm, I'm thinking you have to call it. We were, weren't aware. Well, I'm just, I, you know, we're doing an unusual thing where we're actually saying it's not happening. It's not happening. I'm careful. I don't know. We've got to invent a word for that or a phrase for that because we normally just let things peed around and hope that people don't remember. That's true. They sort of just trickle, trickle, trickle, trickle, trickle down to still sort of like a 1% level.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Yeah. This is going to zero. To zero. This is, I mean, we're taking... Snuff out,, Peter's gone. It's been gone. The room is empty. It's a snuff out.
Starting point is 00:16:48 It's a snuff out. I've got my guitar in today. The axe has been uncheven. Yeah. Oh, do we early on up? It's a gripe. It's a musical gripe. It's a gripe.
Starting point is 00:17:09 And so I want to tell the gripe through song. So, obviously, some of the best music comes out when people are in an emotional state. And then it's happened. And let your pain, let your pain be your art. Yeah. Now, the gripe's not directed at you. It's directed at Jack. Awesome.
Starting point is 00:17:26 We've got 10 minutes. So, I wonder what you're going to get artistic here. So, I want to join in. I want to help. Do you want drums? You feel a little bit good for it. But, so, yeah, you can watch on, relaxed, Jack on the other hand. I will let my guard semi-down, but just in case that's part of a boy,
Starting point is 00:17:45 do bring him a sub-grip at the end to a defenseless me. But it's like all good songs, you can tell a story through it. So, you know, Taylor Swift does that a lot. So this tells a story, and I feel like there will be more questions between the three of us after the story. Okay? very good. Very good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Very good. Very good. Okay. Very good. He's normally up for free stuff. He'll take the shirt right off your back. But there's something not quite right. I'm really worried about our Jack.
Starting point is 00:18:23 I offered him something For his country home. It's in perfect working order. But it seems that Jack says no. It's all with our ways up. It's a toilet. He doesn't want my Lou. Why not? It's in toilet. He doesn't want my loo. Why not?
Starting point is 00:18:46 It's in perfect working order. It holds your weeves and all your poos. That's, that seems, yep. Doesn't it send them back? It's a toilet. It wouldn't do the second. So what's your problem, Jack? It's the perfect little place for you to rest your craft.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Yeah, what's wrong, Zach? We know you do enjoy a poop. I like the fart, but you like a poop. I wondered what's the issue? What's been spooking you? I know I've had our soul problems, but it's nothing to do with that loo. Yeah, it's not cast. Sorry, sat you nose. What?
Starting point is 00:19:37 Sorry. How big is the toilet? My toilet. He doesn't want my loo. It's in perfect working order. It can hold an after-grogs-bue. My toilet. Did you even ask your wife B?
Starting point is 00:19:58 Because she may have liked an additional spot. A place for you to be. Really good. Beautiful. Beautiful. I mean, silky smooth parts. You can only assume the same quality of plumbing applies to the toilet.
Starting point is 00:20:18 Well, it came from a place of passion. If I knew you were so passionate about it and it was this close to your heart, I would have reconsidered. Is it a second hand toilet? It's second hand toilet. It's the toilet he uses all the time. You're right.
Starting point is 00:20:30 He uses all the time. But Jack, the reason they're made from Postal and is Postal and V who will boss on the win all the time. Yes. They can stick, who can drive a mess, whatever. It requires a lot to crack and to damage. No, it just can't argue. It just seems no way.
Starting point is 00:20:45 It seems no way. We have our toilet, I mean, it's sort of the best toilet in the world, but it does the job. We have our toilet. It seems funny to go to all the effort to take that out just to put Andy's toilet. So what happened to Andy? It does, but I mean, if you don't need a toilet, that's okay. No one's, you're not always in the market for a toilet.
Starting point is 00:21:03 I, we ripped out a bathroom at the beach house. Yep. And the vanity and the toilet and everything was great, but it was going because we were taking out a room. And so I said to Jack, hey mate, country property, this stuff's expensive. Do you want me to get it to here? Like any of this stuff and you could have a pretty new bathroom
Starting point is 00:21:27 down there and you'd be able to do it yourself kind of guy. Hasn't have energy to be able to do it. Not a big deal. I definitely would. I definitely would. At his house, that doesn't work. But, yeah, I mean, if you need to plug the power to a lens or any big trouble.
Starting point is 00:21:39 So that's where the offer came from. But you don't need a toilet, Jack. We got a toilet and I would love a new one, but also I wouldn't mess around with trying to do plumbing myself. And it's not easy to just put another toilet in. So if you went and dropped it off, and I, you know, one of the bedrooms,
Starting point is 00:21:55 I put a toilet in there just to put it in there. I feel like I understand where Jack's coming from here. I mean, unless it was one of those automatic toilets, like the Japanese toilets, there's not too much of an upgrade, you'd be looking to make it. You got a plastic seat at the country. We have a wooden seat,
Starting point is 00:22:10 but I do have a problem with the seat, actually. It's one of those seats that, when you're doing a pee and you want to stand the seat up, I don't know, it doesn't come down. It doesn't hold up. It's so far. Which I hate. So you've got to have arm out.
Starting point is 00:22:22 So you do need a new toilet. And you lean fear. Yes. Do you know? I mean, So you do need a new toy like that. And you lean fear. Yes. Do you know what I mean? I reckon I think actually hold out though, Jack, because once you get actual power to your house, you might want to upgrade. I feel like we're seeing,
Starting point is 00:22:34 maybe this is just me, more of the automatic toilets coming around, like more of the Japanese style. I say, no, that's not very in your circle, sir. I mean, I don't have one, but I say no, I tell the other night, there's a $300 a night hotel and they had one. Really? They had an automatic toilet.
Starting point is 00:22:50 Do you want to get a sailing point? It should be, because it is quite amazing. It is quite amazing, but it senses when you, the only thing I don't love about it is it senses when you walk by and it lifts the lid. I'm just thinking of your, I feel sorry for the toilet. I feel like it's demeaning for the toilet. I feel like it's demeaning for the toilet because it's like, you know, feed me. Well, settle down. You're already eight peas and toes. Don't be so eager. I'm actually
Starting point is 00:23:14 not going to you. I was walking me, I was walking with a sink, give it to us. Just calm down to it. Don't be so just wait till I get closer. And does it, when you leave, is it put it, like the libgag, again, like the jub. I actually think from what I could tell, it's a regular toilet that you have an automatic seat on, like you can get these seats now that go on top. And within the seat, it has like the heater and the squirter, has the B-Day, yeah, washer, which is the only other, that's the other weird part about it. Like I know people have experienced them,
Starting point is 00:23:48 Japan has them everywhere, but when you press, there's this a certain moment where you press start on the B-Day and it takes a while to begin. And in that window, as you're preparing yourself, you're like, it's just a weird moment
Starting point is 00:24:02 where you're like, I know what I've done, and here it comes. And you just, and you, and because you look straight in a mirror in this particular head, I'm like, and you sort of caught my eye. And it was like, there's a man who's asked for a thumb queen. And now, and he's waiting, he's waiting patiently for it. And then it comes, and you have to press stop. It's not, it doesn't just last for 10 seconds.
Starting point is 00:24:23 All right. You have to go, you have to decide. I don't know. Oh right. You have to go. You have to just start having it. I don't know. And I don't know. Again, maybe this is just all in my head, but pressing like stop feels like, like I stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:24:34 It feels like a safer. You're brother was pinning you down. I thought I wanted it stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Stop. I don't want it at stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, us, if you're good enough, we'll give it to you. I like to think we are, Andrew. Andrews come forward, him, he writes, I can tell every AFL stadium by the sound of the siren alone. He joins us now, Andrew, how do you? Hi, boys.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Obviously. Andrew, are you a partial to watching AFL football? Yes, a bit of, and particularly as drawing around at the weekends, the ear gets quite attuned to the sirens across the various grounds, so really looking forward to proving in a public sphere that hell I've been sitting on for so long. I mean, I mean, and you will listen to a lot of football, is this a skill that's ever crossed your mind that you run? No, you could do. And I had a go at this one hand failed this nearly. There's one, there's a couple that I go, okay, Marvel Stadium, you hear the echo of the roof.
Starting point is 00:25:54 You know, there's those type of things. This is real deep. But some of the others, I think there was another one I won't say what it was, but I said to Jack, I got that one because of the type of siren alone, but the others, I mean, I'm not blanket of them. They also like a siren. Yeah, I mean, have you had any evidence here, Andrew, that you do have this skill?
Starting point is 00:26:15 Just the, certainly the within my own home, it's been verified that adding the public space. I guess what I'm asking is like, when do you get the chance to go? Because if you're seen down to watch, you know, calling woodcalf and you know, when do you get the, and the siren goes, just saying, gee, that sounds like the MCG isn't that impressive because, you know, to a fan, they would know that's where that game's being played. Yeah, interesting. And it does look like the MCG on the TV. So when, when do you have the chance to hear the siren, but not know what ground it is? Typically, you settle a Sunday afternoon where there's multiple games and multiple venues
Starting point is 00:26:54 on the radio. Oh, you stick around. Yeah. You're not sure whether it's the home game or the secondary ground, but you know, you finally attuned. And you've been getting a regular consistency. That's it. OK.
Starting point is 00:27:09 This is what we're going to do. Andrew, we're going to have five different sirens for you. They represent five different AFL grounds or stadiums that AFLs played in across the country. Four out of five will get you a coin. You're happy with those terms? Yep, that sounds good. All right, let's start. Let's do it. is about to tell. Cause he can, cause he can, cause he can hear a siren.
Starting point is 00:27:50 And identify it. Yes, and identify it, because we realize that just hearing it, it's like anyone can do it. Anyone can do it. No, often we get the chorus and the verse. In the opening, and I think it was worth it. Andrew, okay, and you've got the list of got list of sirens. Jack, you're ready to fire them off.
Starting point is 00:28:09 Andrew, you ready? You comfortable? Santa, good. Just if I need a repeat on the here, it's fine. Just a tune for the year, the second time around. Totally fine, because obviously they'll play the siren for a two minute warning and then they'll play the siren
Starting point is 00:28:22 to bounce the ball. So they have a two-iren, same siren. But we won't make you wait the full two minutes to get in the speed of the process. All right, here we go. Can I hear that one again? What are you thinking here Andrew? Big grounds, ball ground, which stage? I believe that one is op to stadium.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Unfortunately not. I'm getting some ID MCG. Is that surprising? A little bit. Just did have that same sort of consistency in buzz to it? Well I mean, in buzz to it. Well, I mean, as far as the stadiums go, they built it with the exact specifications of the MCG ground sizes because they wanted to make sure that they were prepped for finals
Starting point is 00:29:15 if they had to make it back across. So it could ring around in a similar way, but let's go onto number two. That one's ESCG. Ah, that one's ESL, do you? No, that's opt-a. That is the one out and perth. The new opt-a stadium. So we've, we've reached an impasse here now where I thought I was starting with easier ones and um...
Starting point is 00:29:39 And we're gonna make a... So the next, so the next fuel worth two are they? Oh no, it's Jesus and other people. We might devil saving himself a chance to not be the Simson star. We now stop running for the carrot and start running from the steaks. That's it. We enter the transition phase. Andrew, good luck. The carrot's out of reach. Sorry number.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Stick is closing. Sorry number three. I think that's metriconstating. I think that's Marvel. That is Marvel, hey. LAUGHTER LAUGHTER Yes.
Starting point is 00:30:20 That was a rare non-chate for me, but I think that is the one you're talking about. We could hear the echo. The reverberating off the roof. Might be harder down the phone, but again, we edge closer to a Simpson's guy like the catastrophe where you use the stick. Andrew will be in the frame of shame. This is number four.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Can we get that one again? Absolutely. High stakes, you would. Interesting. It has like a double horn, doesn't it? And that is the clue. That's the other one I got here. That one would be the Adelaide.
Starting point is 00:31:00 He's got it. He's got it. Yes, look at this. Well done, it sits. Basically, a duo tone it. Yay! Yes, he is. There's the... Well done, it's basically a duo tone won the Adelaide, I hope. I don't know what they're doing over there, but well done.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Thankfully, they did it. And one more and it's a chord, isn't it? I mean, it's one more and it's like a most assembly performance. It's a bad chord though, it doesn't really, but you have another listen to it. You wouldn't put these two notes together very often. Oh!
Starting point is 00:31:24 No! No, it's more of a horror movie, isn't it? You haven't ever listened to it, you wouldn't put these two notes together very often. No, it's more of a horror movie, isn't it? Yeah, to me, they've got the same song, but one's out of tune. Kind of like what I sing the openers with the universe. May you enchene? He's out on yourself. You do the captain of musical tunes at your school. You haven't completely lost it. Actually, do you want more dits for fun?
Starting point is 00:31:48 Well, yeah, let's go for the relief of this end to not be the skilts on the guy with the... There must be huge. Oh, huge, yes, yeah, absolutely. The stick shall not whack you on the bot. Let's... Let's... As you point out, that's just for illustrative purposes only.
Starting point is 00:32:04 We do not gain people but don't perform on this show. It's have been said the last one. Andrew. Can we hear that one again? Sure. Yeah, I mean it's distinct. That's the GABA.
Starting point is 00:32:23 That's Darwin. You felt it more tropical, well done. You could hear a more tropical sound, but you know, that's one out of five. Ain't bad. It's like one out of eight of disaster. Well, I mean, it is what I got too. Same, same, same, we should one less than Andy. Andrew, never tell anyone you can do that again, but thank you very much for joining us. Thanks boys. Thanks. Thanks. I do it well.
Starting point is 00:32:52 One of our cheerful non-victors. Hey, I mentioned you that just during the week, people coming up asking for a dollar, if obviously if you see us, that's great. But a lot of people saying, oh, listen to you while I'll do a workout. Listen to you on my run. And I didn't realize that that was a market that we were catering for people
Starting point is 00:33:17 doing their physical activity. Yeah, geez, I wouldn't have thought we'd be hugely popular in the INSPO world. No, and that's for FITSBO world. That's why I thought maybe we should cater for them today where I put the text message to you and Jack and said, just try and think of an inspirational quote to put in and we'll put it to a little bit of inspirational music just for people that are listening while they're working out.
Starting point is 00:33:41 Maybe you're running right now. This might get you that extra bit of distance or that extra bit of pace. Hey, do you have a quote in mind? What do you want me to go for? Look, I'm not, I'm not, you know, I've got, this is a tricky area here, Andy, because, you know, I do sometimes, I do sometimes turn to this like,
Starting point is 00:33:58 some listeners of the show might be familiar with Dave Agoggan's huge fan of his. Who's Dave Aggan for? He's the most intense man ever. I tried to read his manual. I was an audio book and I've been able to get through a jacket. Oh, I did chapter one and I already felt
Starting point is 00:34:09 inferior. So I turned you are inferior, but that's the point. He's the greatest. He's the toughest guy that ever lived. He's got a book called Can't hurt me. Essentially, he claims to have described to Andy.
Starting point is 00:34:19 It's like, he'll be out on a run and he's like, it's raining today. Everybody else is inside their weak. I'm the strongest. I didn't want to get out there, but I'm out there today. Look at me. I'm out. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:34:35 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, God, David is listening. You are my guy. Yeah, I just love this stuff. Big fan of Goggins. And I reckon you can go 10% on any PB if you listen to five minutes of Goggins before you train. Yeah, anyway. So you were saying that, I was just saying this, you know, you can't compete with Goggins. I mean, he's got it tied up. But I guess if people are listening to us, you know,
Starting point is 00:35:03 it's, I would say we're more in the distraction camp. Because I don't think I was listening to the show being like, oh, guys, just hearing about how Jack wants free stuff and sometimes forgets to press the buttons. No one's going, I got to be that guy, I got to dig deep in my own workouts like that, because I think we do transmit the opposite message. But maybe it's for people that like that, like hearing the fallibility and the vulnerability of guys that aren't getting it right. And that makes it, that makes it excited.
Starting point is 00:35:31 But anyway, I've tried to, I tried to think of something as per my inspiration. I'm just like, it's very hard when, I feel like there's so much stuff out there. Yeah. Because you start urring into areas where like, I think that's the best thing done. I don't really follow through it. Give us your answer. I'll give you that. Because you start earring into areas where I think that's the best thing done.
Starting point is 00:35:45 I don't really follow through it. I'll give you a few words. But I reckon my guess is it's been done. Throw the music in Jack and I'll give it to you. Don't give up now, because you might get addicted to it. Like addicted to giving up. That kind of thing. I'll roll this one.
Starting point is 00:36:02 I'm sorry. You're addicted to their work. Oh no, sorry. Like I thought it'd say, so don't I wrote. I'm sorry, I'm addicted to their work. Oh, no, sorry. Like I thought, so, so, so, I don't know. I could work together, don't give a name because if you, you know, if you keep going, you'll, it could be hammerhab it.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Yeah. And, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, You've got a bit of goggins in you, man. You can be a secret doggins. I've got one I had to go to think about. I'm thinking about a sponsor. But I do it for your secondary peanut butter sponsor. I... You're on the music. Okay, here, okay, here go. Okay, actually, start your music. I just realized I need to frame it. And I've just looked at mine and gone, no, okay.
Starting point is 00:36:44 You've written the thing down, but I've written it down based on an analogy, and I haven't actually put the enough to make it. Okay, here we go. You want the music? Yeah, you need to go. I've had to rephrase it in my mind. Okay, go.
Starting point is 00:36:58 In life, we can choose to be parts of a car, some parts are soft, some parts are hard. And if you're working out right now, you gotta keep pushing. Because if you're in pushing, you're a cushion. Oh, there it is. You're not, you know, if you're not the engine, if you're not using your hard, choosing to be soft.
Starting point is 00:37:19 That's true, but I like the cushion. You're not pushing you a cushion. Well, then you be a cushion. I will be whatever you need to be, but this is, but don't be a cushion in your, in your, if you're going for a PB. Okay. You're trying to like beat your 5K time. Keep pushing.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Keep your cushion. So bad, actually, the more I say, the more that could be the title of a book. Keep pushing on your cushion. If you don't push it, if you don't push it in your cushion. Yeah, because it also has, it simulates with the idea of like, I'm a bit flabby around the thing, so I'm a bit of a cushion, but yeah. I'm also going for the guy like, do you want to be the engine of your team? Or do you want to be the thing that everyone just sits back on, relaxes?
Starting point is 00:37:55 I'm doing it just the cushion along for the ride. I like comforting people. Okay, then be a cushion. Okay, I guess this is the part of the question. We can't all be engines. I made a jack. I misunderstood the assignment a little bit. I gotta say. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:38:10 I know you've said inspirational quote. For some reason I just saw like, give somebody Jim inspiration. Right. So I've gone for a song that I listen to at the gym that pumps me up and I've added myself into that song. Oh, what's the song before we? The song is called all I do is win by DJ Khaled. Oh, we don't very well.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Oh, I love the idea that you're at what's your personal try to say Frank Frank, right? Love the idea that you're at the gym deadlifting to this song. It was not so easy. Yeah, it was Laila's luchu. Yeah, how you came out dressed as half a chicken and would lay an egg with a prize in it. So this time. So that's right.
Starting point is 00:38:48 And then you chose it. Surely, when you, if I ever hear this, I don't think I've heard it. See, it's been as soon as I hear this so, I think, of Hameha and a half chicken suit. Like, does that come to mind while you're... It doesn't come to mind. I just think it's not a song that I usually listen to, but when I'm, if you need to give yourself that extra boost,'s really pushes you. I have those songs to which then I ban myself listening to like if you're not exercising because they have to retain that that's specialness.
Starting point is 00:39:13 Yeah, so I've added in a verse in here for people who do listen to this podcast as they're in the gym. This song's for you, I hope it fires you up. Jack Posed. You got your headphones in, pulling out now to the gym. Someone asked you what's that song, but you don't have music on. You listen to podcast, treadmill, you're running fast fast Hey, machine Andy show, you do a dumbbell row They're talking big for fruits, you're pumping up them blues Andy's dog is really tall, you pick up that medicine ball
Starting point is 00:39:55 What's that, it's all inventions, you smash your leg extensions They peed around again, you peed her in, all you do is Wee-wee Nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice, nice All you do is Nice Nice Nice Nice Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go
Starting point is 00:40:10 Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go
Starting point is 00:40:18 Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go Let's go I mean, that is someone that's really pushing and doesn't want to be the cushion, isn't it? I think we could all agree. That's just like David Goggins, if you're listening, came to me.
