Hello, besties. Hello. So we had this little thing called the HR besties podcast drop on Wednesday. Thank you so much. If you had the opportunity to check that out, like it, follow it, share it, all of that good stuff. But you know, we are just so thankful for each and every one of you all because surprise,
surprise, we have charted. Oh, my gosh. Ladies, what the hell? I never thought I would use that
as a verb. I mean, never. Right. I didn't know it was one, you know, hashtag podcaster life.
Right. So we've charted. You all have put HR on the map like wow can you believe it in the sea of white men
that only want to talk about money finally a podcast about people what do we think about that
I was so happy to be climbing over white men for once I just yeah for once climbing over white men
in the charts like crypto bros and sales bros. I looked, I didn't even like, at first I was so
excited, like scrolling. And it took a minute and you look and literally it's like above us,
below us, like how to make a quick buck, how to make a quick buck. And then we're like,
how to make a quick impact on people's actual human lives.
Finally, a podcast that's prioritizing people on that list. That was my key takeaway.
Wow. What a shock.
I know, what a shock. Oh my gosh. You know,
that's just the experience of HR though, isn't it? I mean, this isn't new to us, right?
Yesterday on our text messages, we shared all the amazing DMs and messages we were receiving,
not only from friends and family, but from you guys. And it just is incredible how many, not only HR professionals, because I know you guys
also had the DMs from like managers just being like, I had no idea what HR does. I had no idea
what you guys are working on behind the scene and how you help us. And, and I think that honestly was the most refreshing for me and
rewarding. And, you know, we're all in this job and I'm saying not just the three of us,
everyone listening, we're all in this job. And yes, it's hard mentally, physically, emotionally
hard, but it's so rewarding. And now we get to scream from the Apple Business Podcast charts, number 19, what HR really is.
And I'm just so proud of us.
I had questions from people that were like, I've listened, but how could people support us?
And does that really matter?

I think that's a wonderful question.

You know, how you can support this and really, you know, keep the prioritization and focus on people in the workplace and in the business conversation is to help podcasts like this,
right? And so our CTA call to action to you all today's cringy corporate speak.

What's your CTA? But the CTA would be, hey, if you enjoyed it, please, please like it,
share it, follow it, subscribe it, send it to your HR department, have a laugh together,
start your staff meeting with it. Maybe not the toe-sucking part, right? But definitely share it
with your colleagues, you know, that you feel need that community and support because that's
really our goal with this podcast, right? Is number one, awareness of HR, you know, the impact
of our field, our function on people, but also that community, right? Building that
community and that safe space and just swapping stories and laughing because we cannot take this
so serious, right? If we did, we'd just be crying, huddled in a corner day in and day out.
I had no idea. Those ratings and reviews, that matters so much. And so I went back yesterday
and then rated and reviewed some of my favorite podcasts. um, shout out corporate gossip. Um, and I went and
gave like the ratings and reviews. I had no idea how much that matters. So it does.
We certainly appreciate you supporting us and all the ways that you do all the love,
all the appreciation that's, that's fuel, right? It really is our currency and what keeps us focused
for you and to help you be successful
at work.
