Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey guys and welcome to another episode of the JRE Review. This week joined by Peter and me. Welcome. Glad to be here. Thank you. Oh yeah, so we got Elliot West, Gary Brecker. Dude, I've been waiting for Gary to be on for so long. Ever since he saved basically Dana White's life, I was very excited about this. What is a biohacker even do? So he calls himself. Yeah, they know a bunch about medicine, nutrition, health, like, you know, think about it dude. You've been to the doctor. What do they do? They just like, make sure you're still alive and get you the fuck out of the office There are different types of medical people now that you go to and they're like hey
Starting point is 00:00:55 We want to make sure you're absolutely at your most optimum health And they figure it out There are levels dude. There are levels to this most optimum health and they figure it out. There are levels, dude. There are levels to this. Well, it looks like they really figured out Dana because he's looking good. Dude, looking way better, way better. And then we're probably finished up with Adam Green, true.
Starting point is 00:01:24 I was actually watching Dana on Theo Vaughn's podcast. And if he was the very beginning of it, he opens up with Dana, you're looking a lot more handsome since you lost weight. And Dana is like, you know, he's not like an ego guy. He just skips it immediately and asks if Theo is sponsored by this like new ad like Celsius can you know He just skips it, but he looks a lot better
Starting point is 00:01:51 He was looking bloated Rogan's talked about it. He looks a little he was looking a little bit like potato-y I mean not good dude. He was swollen and You know, let's be fair. He's taking on a lot of stress. Oh, yeah Yeah, too much definitely when your neck exceeds the diameter of your head you need to go and buy it Yeah, and Betty he's pushing the limits on every side and and I think I think the point is He had good healthcare
Starting point is 00:02:26 up until he tried to get connect with this guy. And he knew that doctors had the answers for him, but did they really? Because they weren't giving it to him. And ultimately, he was left in a state where, you know, they were like, yeah, just take this medication, take this thing for your high blood pressure, whatever. Like, they weren't really doing the test on him that he needs.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And now, Dane is like, I will never go back to a doctor. What does that say? A guy worth three quarters, well probably like half a billion dollars right now. Half a billion dollars, he won't go do a doctor. Do you think he's like a fringe thinker or a flat earfer? No. He just, his talk to enough doctors that didn't give him any of this information and he was fucking dying, dude He was dying What do you say about less than 10 years left? I think so yeah Yeah, that's too soon. You tell that to anybody you only have nine years left 10 years left
Starting point is 00:03:40 They're gonna freak out and change your life. Hopefully Well unless you're like 70 and then you'd be like fuck yeah, I got 10 years. I'll take it Just start doing cocaine every day Hey, everyone skydiving. That's how I want to go Yeah, but it's 50 man. It's 50 Too young Right, so he had five of the worst biomarkers young. Right. So he had five of the worst biomarkers that you can have, which is bad.
Starting point is 00:04:12 They say two is one too many. Yeah, but he had five. Bless him. And what I love about it though is like think, think about how stressful his life is in period, right just across the board like we all have our excuses for not doing things like you and I don't do things that we should do we don't do it and it's like well what what do we have going on Dana White has it all going on everything is going on with Dana all going on for him. And he still said, fuck it. Whatever you say, I'm listening to it. I'm completely on board and I will 100% do your protocol and flip his whole system around. Like what a fucking epic move dude.
Starting point is 00:05:02 Because in a way you're like addicted to that like drive and all the rest of it. Obviously you didn't want to get lazy, you didn't want to stop being awesome with the UFC and the rest of it. But he was like, no, I'm going to prioritize my family. I'm just going to fucking do this. And he did it.
Starting point is 00:05:20 That's ridiculous. The family needs the money, but they also need you. You're more of a commodity than the money. Let's keep down on for a little while longer. Right. Well, let's keep him around for the sport. Let's keep him around for everything he enjoys. Here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I don't think he wasn't not enjoying his life. He has an amazing life with tons of opportunities And it's like hey, do you want to do this for just 10 years and also eat fucking chicken fried nuggets all the time or whatever You were doing that was like ruining your health or do you want to change it all up and be here for a long time? It's like why not Does he live in or does he live like Las Vegas or something? Oh yeah, he's in Vegas. Yeah. I can just imagine him eating at the nicest restaurants with, you know, the worst quality of food essentially. Well, potentially, I mean,
Starting point is 00:06:19 there's options of those restaurants, but if you're not putting any limitations on yourself, you're doing the wine, you're doing the whatever, you're doing the burgers, you're... Socially drinking every day, volume rates. All of them. Yeah. I mean, look, so Gary was talking about how there are 63,000 Mars of blood vessels in your body That seems insane, but I guess That's around the world twice I believe
Starting point is 00:06:54 Dude, it's so long long way and we got to take care of those things and people don't think about that You're just like, oh, okay more carbs. They'll be fine. These tiny, tiny little blood vessels will be fine. They'll be fine. Have another, have another hot dog with the enriched bun. Yeah. So that's gonna fuck up your blood pressure. And I guess monitoring your blood pressure is a thing people should do. I actually got freaked out because I had no idea so I took it today and it was 144 over another bad number. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on that one. For sure.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Wait, so it was? It was not good. No, that's what they said, it was bad. Yeah. So I'm, he sold me on all his supplements, so I'm gonna go ahead and re-listen to that one, write everything down, even better, and change my life. I think that's what people should do. I'm gonna take my blood pressure
Starting point is 00:08:06 live in the air right now. You have to put down your bottle of scotch first. Well, sorry, my girlfriend filled my drawer with a whole pile of like charges and cords and bullshit and it's at the bottom of that but yeah it's for some good radio that's for sure mine's not being great either I think mine's around 140 over something well I have blown 150 before so like in the part it was cool about that to me my grandfather died of a heart related issue. He said you don't inherit
Starting point is 00:08:47 those issues. You inherit the inability to overcome those issues with the inability to produce certain amino acids, I believe. I don't know. Is that what it is? Yeah, it's mostly it's because we're lacking something. Not because I have an issue with my heart. I'm lacking a building block, you, cure the, whatever issue I got. I think it's upside down there. Let me go. It's not, dude. I'm running it now.
Starting point is 00:09:16 We're gonna find out live on the air, what kind of health we're in, and also what we need. Now, the big thing about his podcast is what were the supplements and what should you take? It sounded like sunlight, red light therapy, cold plunge, grounding oneself on the dirt with your bare feet. This podcast is brought to you by DraftKingsCasino. Play responsibly. That one, that one I'm like, that's some hippie shit, right?
Starting point is 00:10:48 Well, it really make a difference You need to change the change your body's polarity or the surface charge on your body And that includes your blood and that will in that includes your blood and that will discharge the static off your blood cells and let them repel one another so they flow quicker through your veins. I guess if it's... he says it's proven, provable. Drop of blood, put it on the slide before and after you're grounding and you'll see a change. And you can do it while you sleep, he says, with those, uh, goss pads.
Starting point is 00:11:29 Yeah, but you got to buy those. Or you cheap. Or you can just wrap some tin foil on your mattress and, um, attach it to a, uh, a, a, a copper cord nailed into the ground. That's called grounding. a copper cord nailed into the ground. That's called grounding. I'm 122 over 98. Gosh, that's good.
Starting point is 00:11:53 No, I don't think so. I think 120 is like elevated. And then 98 is, I don't like, it's not clear how they line these up, but that's not good. Yeah, that's bad. I think it's bad blood pressure. Look at my blood pressure there. Oh no, man.
Starting point is 00:12:14 Hey, we're going out together, okay? Let's get a boat. Well, I think it's important to, like, listen to the, I don't do any of those things. I mean, I go out into the sun in the morning, right? For a minute, a few minutes. But I'm not like touching my feet on the ground. That didn't seem like anything I needed to do. Let's do it, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Well, it's not gonna hurt. Not right now, of course. I'm in my dog shit a lot in the yard, so if I go stepping around, that might be a problem, but that should not hold me back. Well, I have the needle issue here in Albuquerque, so it's one or the other. Oh, heroin? Yeah, big time. Okay, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Well, be careful. You don't end your gravel y'all though, surely. Well, I've been using lately, so yeah. Oh, jeez. That's gonna be a problem. That's that's not good. You think that would kill you out a little bit, give you a better reading on the blood pressure. Uh-huh. Well Uh-huh Well It seems like there's a million supplements you need to take I think that's the pressure from this podcast honestly is like how like at what point are you just taking
Starting point is 00:13:39 hundreds of pills you know Because well vitamin D, good. Pretty quick. Pretty quick. Good. You know, multivitamin, throw that in there. Maybe collagen.
Starting point is 00:13:54 I mean, MCT oil. But then they start getting into all these like real specific ones. Brought a amino spectrum thing. Yeah. Well, the amino one is not a big deal you can buy broad Spectrum and mean is for pretty cheap and it's like that's not a big deal But there was some others they were bringing up and I'm like it what resveratrol and I Just don't know how many like think about it. There are people listen to Rogan they're in their 20s and they feel healthy they're not struggling
Starting point is 00:14:32 and you know they're just doing their thing. Do they need to start doing this? Or like is it just that they need to understand that eventually they do these types of stuff. The effects of aging in quotations get worse as you go on. He was speaking about how those effects of aging are a lie and we should just pump ourselves up with the building blocks to maintain healthy lifestyle up into our later years by taking their supplements, his supplements, someone's supplements. Yeah, I believe he's right. Like don't get me wrong, but I just wonder like what kind of morning protocol we have when we have to take like 500 things. Yeah. Will anyone ever come up with just one pill?
Starting point is 00:15:27 I don't want to sound like a lazy bitch, but like give me one. I want one too. Just put it all in there. Put it all in there and make it a chewy gummy. So it's fun. And then, you know. Egressed a beef.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Throwing a bit of mushrooms. So it's a tingly morning. It's a wild card. Well, I mean, it doesn't have to be, but like just if I have a meeting, then I have to be so brish for it. But like, you know, just give me it, and like give me everything I need, and then also a bit of a like a chill relaxing on that too. Well the magnesium will relax you if you get take magnesium capsules that's for sure. I did pump on about that also cold plunge or if you can afford it cold shower. You you you know what I've been lucky enough in my life to work in the outdoor industry and we
Starting point is 00:16:29 Jump in the river to take baths and I'll have to do that daily But I haven't been working in that field for about a year and a half so The cold shower is all I got the peasants cold plunge. I call it The peasants get yeah, it's a good cold plunge though I think it's legit and knowing ship feel shame about it if you don't want to buy an ice bath like an actual ice bath Just do a cold shower. It sounds like it does the same shit and it's pretty fucking cold It's pretty cold Pretty freaking cold. You got to get some sunlight. I think that's
Starting point is 00:17:08 underrated. I don't think people take their time to do that. That's the one that I'm into. I really like that from this. You've always been into the sun. Yeah, I mean, I get sunburned, but I like to get out there, dude, especially in the morning. I like to get out there dude Especially in the morning. I like to that's this those are the safest rays They say that's why I like it. That's why I like it. Yeah I do love the the early morning sun exposure Get up to go to work the sun feels nice And then and then he kind of like finished up with you know eat a bunch of animal products and then he started talking about a deuterium depleted water like a
Starting point is 00:17:53 special like that was crazy dude I was like what like the only time I've ever heard of that is from nuclear reactors that's the water that they put in that it cool the uranium down because it's light water that they put in there to cool the uranium down. Because it's light water? What is the deal with light water? Yeah. Light water is, is instead of like standard H2O, it has one less neutron. So it's, it's like an unusual properties. Okay. But, but you make it in your system when you eat a lot of meat, red meat, and animal products. And it also helps your crepe cycle, which is this cycle of energy that you have, it
Starting point is 00:18:37 like makes it smoother. So. He said it like disrupts it or something. What did he say about it? No, he said it makes it work better. Oh, works better. Yeah. Is that the process of converting ATP?
Starting point is 00:18:52 Kind of, yeah. Yep. Yeah, yeah. So I wanted to write down everything he said. I know it was a lot. It was a lot. That's what made it so good though. It's like this is the new
Starting point is 00:19:06 You know, Ronda Patrick of the Rogan experience is It there's a lot of information. Well, what I really liked about it is that Rogan wants to do the protocol Right, he's into it. He's like let me do this. Let me help all of my own health monitors Markers, whatever bio measures, and then we will get back to where I'm at And you know what if it's not better? Rogan will be like, yeah, it wasn't better Yeah, just wasn't you know, he's not gonna lie to us. And he's, I think he's on board. I like, after what has happened to Dana, dude, I don't know how anyone can trust
Starting point is 00:19:53 what this guy's capable of doing. Dana looks like a different person. He looks- He does. Melt, amazing. Amazing. Yeah, dude. He's more ripped than I am.
Starting point is 00:20:06 And then he was about to die. The amazing part is that it is an anti-medicine. It's not medicine. He's not doing, he's just doing supplements and practice to cure these issues with Dana's thyroid. Yeah. And like he said, the issue wasn't with his thyroid. It was the inability for his body
Starting point is 00:20:30 to make up the other 80% of the necessary things that the thyroid made. He's off that medicine. And he's off his heart medicine. Yeah, blood pressure. Which wasn't working? No got The proof of the pudding for Rogan is gonna be his thyroid issue and if that can get it's a good point Yeah, we'll see that's a good point. We're gonna see we're gonna see well. I liked it
Starting point is 00:20:58 I'm excited about it and I and I hope it works for Rogan obviously, you know, I mean Keep Rogan alive that seems you know, I mean, keep Rogan alive. That seems important. Yeah, keep him going. Yeah, whatever helps there. And if this program does. And also, for people that are struggling out there that I just go into regular doctors not getting good information. And, you know, there are people like Gary Brecker Alva that might have you know really like good shit for you to know that you can take on bull that you can just implement here and there you know he has a podcast it might be the way about it. What's that? 141 over 84 was my blood pressure. Am I about to die? Yeah, dude, that doesn't sound good. Are we both in the same? Should we reach out to Gary? I think we should pull our money and split the supplements. No, I think we should die on air Just just for the show
Starting point is 00:22:07 Red and Vaney yeah, what's the deal? Yeah, that's okay. Don't worry. We'll work on it. We'll do the Gary Prykka Protocol all right, let's move over to Elliott West Elliott is a fucking brilliant guy and You know what I'd love to about him is, you know, anybody that is like doing their writing on the Native Americans and going back to kind of like stories that everyone knows happened, but like how well read is anybody on these things more like for very important man it does the history of our nation is important
Starting point is 00:22:55 and it's it's it's almost a story that everyone has heard but no one really knows about the whole the whole thing yeah I mean, the fact that like before, lowest and clock, French people, I mean, sorry, Native Americans were in France 100 years before then. Like what? I don't think almost anyone knows that. No, it was.
Starting point is 00:23:20 They think that lowest and clock were the first people to cross America and You know, it's just like hey, that's not true and also this wasn't that long ago and we should know this information Somebody should have taught us this Like I went to high school in the United States. Nobody told me that in Indian country as well I went to high school in the United States. Nobody told me that in Indian country as well Yeah, I was in New Mexico, dude. You would have thought they would have been like all right. This is where we got Yeah, it's it's like cherry picked I think and why not why not just get it as accurate as possible
Starting point is 00:24:00 You know get down to like what it's all about. I mean, another thing that I found interesting from this one is, you know, we've always heard that smallpox wiped out a lot of the natives and it was, it decimated them, which it did. But like also that the Europeans weren't necessarily immune to it either. They'd just been exposed at a younger age when there are kids right and it was more like a chicken like chicken pox as an adult will kill you Right, so that's why Traditionally they used to do like chicken pox parties, right, which is sounds insane It's like you just get all the kids together. They get chicken pox Sounds insane. It's like you just get all the kids together. They get chicken pox.
Starting point is 00:24:49 They're young immune systems can deal with it. And then when they're older, they're okay. Maybe they get Shingles. Yeah, shingles. Yeah, and that's real bad. But like They're coming over to the US I'm just infecting adults with a thing that they have no immunity to and it just crushes them. Right. They also gave a syphilis so they're not off the hook. They're not off the hook. They're not off the hook. But, you know, to be fair, I think we accidentally did more.
Starting point is 00:25:19 You could have deserved it. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. It wasn't like a bioterrorist wall. I don't think either side was like trying to wipe each other out with, we were trying to wipe each other out with, you know, spears, arrows and guns. We weren't doing it with disease. That was just like accidental. Accidental. Accidental. And there were some instances where I've heard of blankets being thrown
Starting point is 00:25:49 and are given to Native American communities. And that's a pretty common story. Oh, that's fucked up. Yeah. And that was, you know, that was later after all that. But guns, germs, and steel that book by Jared Diamond illustrates those three things technology germs and hard metal yeah conquered conquered this area that's a good book that's a long book oh it's a scholarly text it's hey did you read that I had to read that don't have to I read a lot of it I read some of Red so dude everyone I've spoke to read some of it Yeah, I'm really a lot better one. I like a lot more is
Starting point is 00:26:34 1491 which illustrates by Charles C. Mann and he illustrates the United States In that at regard of guns terms and steel Oh nice nice. Nice. And he spoke a lot of the same stuff that the author in this podcast did. I forgot his name already. Yeah, it's,
Starting point is 00:26:56 Elliot West. Elliot West. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's, but it's, you know, it's fucking complicated stuff, right? And I think what's interesting about it is there's like, there's like shame, you know? There's like frustration, there's, I'm sure the natives
Starting point is 00:27:19 feel really fucking pissed off and frustrated about all of it and then who do they blame now? you're really fucking pissed off and frustrated about all of it. And then who do they blame now? Like if you're born today and you're on a reservation and you don't have much of anything, and then you hear these stories about how you owned all of this land, which they did. Yeah. And, you know, you see all these fucking white people.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I mean, god damn, you'd be pissed off, dude. Oh yeah, God damn. You'd be pissed off, dude. Oh yeah. You would. You'd be pissed off. I would be. We've met him. I've met him. Here in the Southwest,
Starting point is 00:27:56 we have, luckily we have a lot of people have needed to sit here in the Southwest to bounce those ideas off of. Yeah. And the generally. And at the same time, you've got people like you that were just born here And you're like I'm pretty sure I was nice to everyone my whole life because you are Pete and oh go on Should you feel bad?
Starting point is 00:28:18 I guess so maybe no, I mean you didn't do it personally I didn't do it personally. I didn't do it, but maybe my grandpa's grandpa did it. And is that my fault? No, but it's important to not just hurt someone's feelings and a swage all blame. You know, it's a hard, who knows? You no, no, dude you're 100% right. I like I like that attitude and You know also other than taking that level of responsibility if they just came up to like a big house that you just bought and They were like we would need this back and you've got a family You'd be like, um, they better have more arrows than me.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Oh, back to the old days. I'll meet him on the old playing ground. Well, which to be fair, that would be the same as if anyone tried to steal what is yours, right? Which, it's not allowed. enjoyed the steal. What is yours right? Which? It's not allowed. We got to get put a foot down somewhere. But we should probably talk about the author though. Yeah, I think we were. That's what he was saying.
Starting point is 00:29:40 He actually mentioned something like that towards the end. How much accountability and do we have? Rogan got here. There's parents got here in the, when was his grandparents in the 20s? Both sides. Irish and Italian. Okay. Yeah, they had very little to do with all that Westwood expansion. Yeah. I mean, together they could make like a really solid kind of boiled cabbage pizza I guess would be the family dinner combo between Irish and Italian I don't know I don't know what the hell of a Thanksgiving would be Haggis and uh... But that's scottish. No, Haggis is scottish. Yeah. It's like boil cabbage over there.
Starting point is 00:30:27 But yeah, I mean, you know, that's early days immigrants, really. It's grandparents stuff. Right? There's only like just, you know, two generations away from that movement. And it's hard. But it was nothing like it was back then. Nothing. I mean, dude, the fact that any pilgrims came here,
Starting point is 00:30:50 it's like how bad was your life? That you were like, yeah, England sucks. And you just like, come over here, you get a bit of land, and then you just get shot by arrows. Yeah, that's how you do it. And when you get pretty bummed out, you can't just fuck off down to the pub either. You got to know pubs. No, there's no pubs.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I'd turn right around. I'm going home. Yeah. I think they're brave. Pilgrims sound brave as fuck. Well, a lot of the pilgrims were kicked out of England. Why? No, the Calvinists and the the religious sex, the differently thinking people were kicked out and so were the Jews and Smein. They were kicked out to Mexico.
Starting point is 00:31:43 That's how they ended up in Santa Fe. It was, they were pushed away from Europe in many cases. No land. Wait, there's a bunch of Jews in Santa Fe? They, well, they are called crypto-Jews and they were part of the Inquisition. Father, the Inquisition said, convert or leave in the 1500s, so they had to go to another place, Mexico City, and then they went north, then they ended up in New Mexico. Dude, that's nuts.
Starting point is 00:32:20 And that's one sect of one European country. The Jamestown pilgrims were Calvinists. They were not part of the Church of England. They were too hardcore with their beliefs. So they were kicked out. And then they ended up in Jamestown. Hmm. That's where it started over there, at least.
Starting point is 00:32:40 That's interesting. Oh, I did not know that. Spanish Jews. How about that, huh? In Mexico, yeah. Well, you gotta go, I guess, and that's rough, dude. Go or die. Yeah, I would go.
Starting point is 00:32:58 I'd have to go. I'd have to go. I would die. Yeah, you gotta go. Or convert. You gotta go, but imagine. Well, you know, you don't want to convert I Don't want I don't want people telling me what to do
Starting point is 00:33:09 Like that felt like California during COVID. I just left. I was like nah later that might make up to play your game That make a Republican out of you after living through all that That make a Republican out of you after living through all that. Oh, wow. You know, I have started reading more history books. Uh-oh. Which they do say is early onset Republicanism. Slippery slope. You know, you start to learn about the past.
Starting point is 00:33:40 I mean, they finished up with the Dumbar number. What are your thoughts on the Dumbar number. What do you think it's on the Dumbar number? The Dumbar number. That would be the number of people that we can recognize, facially, remember their names, right? Yeah, all like combinations of like everyone that we can know within ranges. I think it's incredible to think about.
Starting point is 00:34:04 It makes sense to me me I can barely remember ten But a hundred is a hundred is like a bit too many makes sense though that in a small familial group That that's about as many as you can keep in your mind More than I'd want to anyway Dunbar, huh? Got a... You have a family trip down the way. You might have to...
Starting point is 00:34:37 make sure that... the water hole is free of buffalo before you go. Pete, you were trailing off there a waffle done. Yeah, no, I mean you kind of didn't you just kind of stopped I didn't know what to say That's all right So dumb eyes like a hundred and forty people that you get to know and then You know you don't really know them. You just know their faces. That seems to be like the maximum.
Starting point is 00:35:09 And you know, if we all think about it, you probably do only, you probably recognize that many people. You know, well enough to be like, oh yeah, that's that. I think it might be more than that. I don't know. But that that seems reasonable. But like the fact that he chopped it down to like your real close group, like if you're thinking of your own life and like how many people that we really trust,
Starting point is 00:35:39 if you have even close to 10 or 12. You're in great shape. Like that's for sure. 10 or 12 people that you really count on and trust is like, you know, if you pick the right 10 or 12, that's a fucking powerhouse dude. One person can make all the difference. 10 or 12 of the good ones is, that's quite a few. I wonder on that regard if the person like a sales person, are they able to keep more of those in their heads, or do they just only know a select few and then the rest are
Starting point is 00:36:24 just part of their job and they out of sight out of mind. Well look, I think that even people with really good networks, they know a lot of people right and they are connected but like the more you spread that out and the more you are like acting best friend with someone you barely know you still barely know them, okay? So it's like element of pretty pretty pretty thick stuff. Yeah, so like you know that You could have a network of like upwards of 50, but it's pretty fleeting It's like even though you're doing all the right things by this person, they don't really trust you.
Starting point is 00:37:08 Like you're not really connecting with their needs and wants and vice versa. It seems to be that you're gonna have a very close 10 and then everything beyond that is just like levels of it. And they've got to match your values. They got to just ultimately comes down to loyalty, I think. And you know, you kind of know where you lie with people. It's like, there are some people that you'll go out, like you and I used to go out to some fun places in in Albuquerque, right? And we lived together. And we go there and we had people
Starting point is 00:37:50 that we had the best time meeting up with. But other than being there, we didn't know them. We didn't know anything about them. We didn't hang out with them other than those areas. And even though it was great, it was like sometimes you got some friends, you know, that, oh, wacky, uh, Zach, maybe. And then you just like, but you know exactly where you stand with them, right? It's like, you know what, he would do anything for us at any time. Oh, yeah. And, you know, that's the kind of thing. That's the difference, I think, with the Dumb-A, Numb-A. So it's like, trust him as far as you can throw him sort of thing,
Starting point is 00:38:32 which ain't far. Yeah, but maybe not even that. I mean, it's like, maybe you could think that you could trust people and throw him far, but you don't really know. You just don't know those people. So it's worth thinking about. It's like, even though you really enjoy their company
Starting point is 00:38:53 and anytime you get there, you're just like, well, they don't reach out. I don't reach out. They're not really my friend. They're just always fucking awesome. And like they can be in the, you top 50 just put him in the top 50 You trust him on a big hunt but you wouldn't let him watch your wife while you went hunting Good point. I like it
Starting point is 00:39:14 Talking about hunting. Let's jump over to Adam green tree. All right, let's finish up with him Adam What a legend legendary frickin Australian hunter What a legend legendary freaking Australian hunter Talked about do not hunt in New Zealand that sounds way dangerous He was out there like Really no predators not like a dangerous spot. There's not like a bunch of snakes and other shit that's gonna get you but the but like the tomography of the land is a mess and You know he fell down Like a cliff side was like stuck on a hill
Starting point is 00:39:57 Yeah, use this SOS thing and that wasn't even picked up because some fucking dog went on lunch for two hours Yeah, not good dude. Don't be out in New Zealand. It seems like in the outback. Is there an outback of New Zealand? They don't have an outback, but they're, it's very rugged. We've all seen Lord of the Rings, right? Yeah, a lot of hills. A lot of hits more like granite
Starting point is 00:40:27 Mountain tops just sticking right out of the ground Okay, all the animals there won't hurt you Every they don't have a single poison is critter And it's exact opposite in Australia where you don't want to touch anything You've been out Not even the women The hell, I mean, no. Oh, my.
Starting point is 00:40:48 Sorry, I read that on Reddit. Never been. Like to go. Yeah, so dangerous countryside and him being stuck out there. I mean, you know, and not just that, it was like just many of the things that he does, like this whole thing that he takes on, this is why Adam Greentree is so interesting because he's like, yep, 30 days.
Starting point is 00:41:15 He's like, works with mining companies, makes good money, and then every year, he just slugs out like 30 days, he's where his whole family, like family like that's cool go do it and he just goes out there dude that is you know I'm kind of less interested with like the pursuit of Him doing that and more like why do you need to do that? It sounds like What is going on there, bro?
Starting point is 00:41:47 Yeah, it's like he wants to torture himself. He did talk a little bit about not having a father figure and not having someone that can like take care of him. He felt like it was all on him. And he kind of brushed it off, but he did talk about that on the pod and You know, I came from a bit of that, so I'm like, all right. I see. Okay. You're just fucking you're going into the dark lands, dude The deep he wants to cure something with that sort of self-punishment
Starting point is 00:42:21 Well, I don't you know, he's done it long enough now, the way I don't, I doubt that it feels like all that much punishment. I feel like he just is like, hey, I've got to do this, I've got to explore this time, and I've got to see what I'm made of. I mean, he's a fucking savage for a dude. I respect him, that's for sure. Yeah, the way he cuts his packs down, he like takes half a toothpick and carries like no extra weight, super light bow, like, wow. I guess he's one of the best in the world, what he does.
Starting point is 00:43:03 He's got incredible skills. I Can't even camp two nights It's too many. It's too many But you go down to the Grand Canyon and like sleep down there. What are you talking about 21 days in a row? But two nights in the back two nights in the back country is pretty is like you know it's fulfilling I can't imagine having to do 30 or wanting to do 30 just with you because you're not alone in the Grand Canyon right you got people though you know we got a team there okay all the gear how long do you think
Starting point is 00:43:40 just like go out in the you know the fucking Hamas mountains of New Mexico and just like if so if I said right I bet you Tangrand you can't do a week you could do a week, right? Oh, yeah, I can do it for a week for sure But like you wouldn't want to or for pay is a little bit different than You wouldn't want to or for pay is a little bit different than just charting us path it sounds like his most favorite thing he can do his most favorite thing so You can do the thing you love forever, right? No good point, but like why would why is that not appealing to you? I feel like that kind of would be for you. You're pretty outdozy guy
Starting point is 00:44:24 like that kind of would be for you. You're a pretty outdozy guy. Yeah, I could, sometimes I like that, but sometimes it's just too much. Too much too much stuff. Yeah, I barely even like camping at all. So I could not do it. If you better, if there's a hot a hot springs nearby, I'm in. Mmm. Alright. You can do it. What about tap water and fluoride?
Starting point is 00:44:52 Let's finish up with that. What do you think about this? Well, it's incredible we drink it, knowing that it comes from the inside of smoke stacks. Predestined to go as fertilizer, but steam to poison us, so they have to put it in our water. Is that what I heard about it? Yeah, the toothpaste says, if you swallow the toothpaste, call the fucking poison hotline.
Starting point is 00:45:22 And it's like, why is it in in there how is that good for our teeth can we rub our teeth with like garlic or something I feel like garlic is good for everything like what like I don't know but I'm like isn't there other things than some sort of chemical poison I'm not into it dude. It doesn't baking so to do a pretty good job at whitening. I feel like it. Yeah. So let's just use that. What's crazy is that the municipalities buy it. The big business has convinced
Starting point is 00:46:00 this our system that it needs to be in our tap water to make our teeth stronger And yeah, why? Money like what it what is this big fluoride money like who the what is this Pfizer? The fluoride people is in charge of that the fluoride people Should we buy fluoride stock? I don't I don't feel good about that I don't think so no No, that's not. That's not.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Well there we go. We got Adam Greentree. We got fucking Gary Brecker legend. Also, listen to the Gary Brecker one and buy all the supplements. I can't remember all of them, but like Aminos, Full Spectrum, Vittemondee, Put Your Feet on the Ground, Sunlight, Like get out of that, do it. There were some others that were more obscure by those if you want,
Starting point is 00:46:56 and then Elias West, you know. Touching grass. God bless him. It sounds like his book is too long to read. I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna buy it. It sounds like his book is too long to read. I'm not going to lie. I'm going to buy it. I will buy his book. You will? I'm going to read that one and I'll give you a book review later. I love that.
