Might either be the worst podcast or the best one of all time. Two, one, go. Enjoy the show. Hello guys, welcome to another episode of the JRE Review this week. What is it a review of? More a review of politics, some might say. The political state of the country. Now, recently we did an episode, Pete and I, with,
Starting point is 00:01:56 you know, about the assassination of Trump. Didn't we, Pete? We sure did. Assassination attempt. Yeah, they couldn't get him. Couldn't get him. And within what a week, Biden is stepping down. Didn't sound like he wanted to, you know, he was like adamant about not doing it all of a sudden wanted to, which is interesting how much credit he gets for that because people that are on the left that I know are like, wow, it's really brave of him to be able to just kind of admit to where things are and to know it's the right time and move
Starting point is 00:02:33 away. I'm like, yeah, but also he was pretty adamant he wasn't going to. And then all of a sudden he gets sick and has a meeting with some advisors and then he's gone. He said only God can change his mind about that. And I guess that doesn't make any sense really. But I don't think it was, it came as a shock to many people in terms of, yeah, he is not capable. We saw the debates.
Starting point is 00:03:09 It was ugly. That was a mess. And the... Hold on, I think I lost you here, Pete. Okay, we're back. We had some technical issues there. You know, probably the CIA, I would imagine. On our case.
Starting point is 00:03:35 They're hunting us down, that's why you gotta move around the country like you are. Well, it's a hot topic show, I'm not surprised that they're putting an ungodly amount of resources into keeping an eye on what we're up to. The big talkers in the world right here. Yeah, yeah, they need to be doing it. But again, after the debate, that was a disaster. You know, everyone saw it. And it's like, we can't have another one of those. I don't know why they'd be so excited to put Kamala up. Like I don't know what point that like she seems stronger.
Starting point is 00:04:13 It's like really? They're throwing money at her. They're just throwing the money. They're hoping that will work. I feel like the more anyone listens to anything she says, the harder this is going to be. Like it. She doesn't seem very well vetted for debates. I mean, Tulsi Gabbard like destroyed her in the debates. Tulsi would have been a better pick, if you ask me.
Starting point is 00:04:42 But the other percent, for whatever reason, like the left, she didn't play their game. Yeah. That's exactly what happened. She seemed to have too much autonomy and kind of her own integrity. I think she's harder to buy. Whereas I feel like Kamala is kind of perfect because she seems like she would just sell out for the next position of power. She doesn't seem to really have much dignity. She doesn't strike me as somebody that
Starting point is 00:05:17 you would be like, oh, there's a lot of character there. It's almost like she's an actor. She would just mould to be whatever needs to be done in that room. And a lot of it there. It's almost like she's an actor, she would just mould to be whatever needs to be done in that room, and a lot of it comes from that fake laugh that she has, that, it's like witch cackle. It's like- It's a cackling kamala. Well, it's so sad because, you know, even saying something like this, people will get upset. And especially a lot of women that want
Starting point is 00:05:47 to see a woman president, and I want to see that too. I think that would be great, you know? But it has to be the right one. Like, why keep putting on, this person doesn't represent women as I know them. I know a lot of sensible, intelligent, smart, genuine, and confident women that have, you know, solid opinions on things that I would trust and could like lead a, you know, a company and a force and Kamala just doesn't do any of that. She just seems like really disingenuous,
Starting point is 00:06:27 kind of lost, kind of incoherent and just fake. I gain no confidence from her. I don't gain any confidence. She doesn't seem like a leader to me. Also, she's got these like, you know, she touts her victories, elected to this, elected to that. Well, it turns out she just kind of rode the coattails of powerful men. She narrowly won her former position in California by like a percent. And it wasn't even a hard race. She just kind of falls flat in every field. And now I think that she's there because the money is there. An act blue for one, a huge donor for the Democratic Party. And it's been found that they're basically laundering money
Starting point is 00:07:20 through this organization. Oh, dear. There was an expose a few years back about it. And it's like, I think there was something like 80 million anonymous unemployed donors donated to ActBlue to the tune of millions. Like 250 million. And that's just, that doesn't wash out. It doesn't seem to make sense.
Starting point is 00:07:45 It doesn't make sense. We all knew that this government is mostly a business, so it makes sense that they launder money. Yeah, it's like the largest corporation in the world, the US government. It ever existed. Exactly. So do we need a diversity hire at the top of that? Or do we need a businessman at the top of the business? I'll ask you that.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Right. Yep. I'm looking at Kamala's record. So she got a political science and economics degree, then did a law degree at the University of California College of Law. So she did pass the bar. I mean, that's not easy to do, though Kim Kardashian did it. So I don't know. She began her career, the Alameda County District Attorney's Office. And then let's see, San Francisco District Attorney, California Attorney General, that's kind of a big deal. And then it doesn't- she narrowly won the election and became the first woman, first African American, and first South Asian to hold the position. Man, she's taking all the boxes. She is.
Starting point is 00:09:09 She was in a polyamorous relationship with Montel Williams and another lady. Was she really? Yeah, she was a side piece for Montel and many other men. Less. Okay. And is that well documented? Hell and many other men. Less. OK. And it's that well documented? Oh, I mean, it's she walked out the red carpet with him and another woman.
Starting point is 00:09:32 They're all holding hands. It's very odd. I did see that. Yeah, I did see that. It's well documented. And on that note about documentation, just try to Google anything about her. And here's what comes up.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Stuff like this. Why is Kamala Harris so inspiring? Oh, brilliant. Really? Well, she's not. No, I don't think she is. She's not afraid to demand justice and show women and girls how to have their own power and stand up for themselves.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Throughout her career, Kamala has used her power to change and shake up the patriarchy of the government. Well, she was imprisoning black men to the tune of like, and extending their sentences so they could have prison labor, which that has been documented. Right, that's not good. That's what Tulsi called her out on at the debates, which really hit her hard and kind of ended her run. And then, you know, it does seem because she's not a strong candidate, she didn't poll well, she didn't do well in the presidential vice presidential, well, the presidential race, you know, that it just was one of those kind of virtue signaling things. It's like, yeah, she's first African American and woman and yeah, she ticks a lot of boxes. I do. Enjoy the number one feeling. Winning in an exciting live dealer studio,

Starting point is 00:11:27 Am I gonna go all in on the loaded taco? No, sir. I'm keeping it simple. Starting small. That's trading on Kraken. Pick from over 190 assets and start with the 10 bucks in your pocket. Easy. Go to kraken.com and see what crypto can be.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Non-investment advice. Crypto trading involves risk of loss. See kraken.com slash legal slash ca dash pru dash disclaimer for info on Kraken's undertaking to register in Canada. Yeah, she doesn't take the boxes of like being good at politics. And now somehow she's the main choice. It's like Tulsi was a much stronger candidate
Starting point is 00:12:00 and she isn't even on the, like no one. Not even on the radar. no one can find her. Yeah, exactly. You know? And the next question is this. It's like, okay, so you've got this person that all of a sudden is inspiring all these people. And to be fair, I have some close friends that are liberals that clearly agree that she has never shown any level of interest
Starting point is 00:12:29 to them that would give them any confidence. And that's been pretty standard with her being vice president. Like no one's jumping out going, oh yeah, she's really awesome. Maybe they don't have too much of an opinion on her, but nobody has an overly glowing opinion. You watch how that changes over the next few months. And really, all that happens to change that opinion is people just get inundated with these commercials. It's like those people that suddenly find themselves huge fans of who this person is,
Starting point is 00:13:04 and they're kind of campaigning for her and saying things like, oh, no, she's always just been so strong and so together and this story is true. And I heard this about her and they're just people that are easily bought is what it is. She has all these dumb catchphrases like just fell out of a coconut tree. Come on. Unburdened by what has burdened and what it will be unburdened and what has been. Those ones, those ones are difficult to watch because it's like over and over. Yeah. Somebody the other day was like, oh, those are just all been spliced together. I'm like, yeah, there's like 20 of them spliced together. How many times are you saying the same thing? Like you just thought of it right now,
Starting point is 00:13:51 and it's profound. It's not like this is rehearsed, and it doesn't make any sense. It literally means nothing. It literally means nothing. Yeah, it means nothing. Nothing that I understand. So I thought to be a nominee for president, you have to be voted in the primaries and then, so you have to be voted in the primaries. So have we ever had a president that was just elevated like this? Ordained?
Starting point is 00:14:21 Just like, boom, that seems undemocratic actually yeah i don't know it's illegal i think it's got to be illegal yeah well i would vote for someone on the ticket if it was a person who was like tulsi gabbert or any these other level-headed democrats rfk was a Democrat before he got ousted. Tulsi was. Yeah. Yeah, so what does this mean? I mean, she was, you know, Biden was in power, he had the delegates, you know, they're not officially announced until the DNC, but he already had the delegates, then he steps down and all of a sudden all the delegates
Starting point is 00:15:06 jump over to Kamala. But isn't it, did everyone vote on the primary? Did everyone vote Biden already? Yes, I believe, I honestly don't know about that, but I think they already had the primaries, didn't they, for the Democrats? They must have. So that means that they just... and that's who the delegates are supposed to vote for, right? Whoever was voted for on the primaries. Does that make sense? It makes... I'm trying to make sense of it and it is... it just seems... it seems authoritarian, doesn't it? Like just picking someone without anybody voting for her?
Starting point is 00:15:54 Well, that's... yeah, that's the point I'm trying to get at. Okay. I'm... this is boggles my brain. Yeah. So, yeah, I did not vote. Okay, so yes, the primary election for the Democratic Party have been completed. Joe Biden has secured enough delegates. Okay. Okay. So they all just go to her. Why do those delegates now go to Harris? Let's see what it says.
Starting point is 00:16:27 President, okay, President Joe Biden were to step down or be unable to continue his candidacy vice president. Ooh, that's interesting. Chat GPT started answering that and then stopped it like wrote a bunch of stuff and deleted it right in front of me that is wild it didn't like answering that let me take a screenshot before it gets rid of it
Starting point is 00:17:04 my YouTube no longer meeting controversial. Okay so it's saying Kamala Harris were to take over the delegates originally assigned to Joe Biden. It would likely be due to Biden stepping down or becoming unable to continue his campaign. Here's how the scenario could unfold based on typical party procedures. Biden stepping down. If Biden's President Biden were to step down from the race for any reason, health or whatever, the Democratic Party would need to select
Starting point is 00:17:45 a new nominee. Party rules and delegates. The delegates Biden has won would then potentially be reallocated. The process involves several steps. The DNC would convene, decide the next steps. The DNC has rules and procedures for such scenarios. Reallocation. Delegates originally pledged that Biden might be then reassigned. Have you heard of this reassigning? Never have I ever. Reassigning doesn't sound democratic.
Starting point is 00:18:22 It's not. It's, it's, I think it's, they're just making these rules up on the fly now. That is nuts. Yeah, I got to get like more. More answers than this. You know what's great about ambition? You can't see it.
Starting point is 00:19:46 Some things look ambitious, but looks can be deceiving. For example, a runner could be training for a marathon or they could be late for the bus. You never know. Ambition is on the inside.
Starting point is 00:20:00 So that road trip bucket list? Get after it. Drive your ambition. Mitsubishi Motors. Are you a business owner or marketer looking to reach highly engaged podcast listeners just like you? AdvertiseCast can help.

Starting point is 00:20:40 Wouldn't it be another vote? It seems like it should be another vote. Yeah. That's absurd. Yeah, I don't get it. I'm gonna need some answers here. So yeah, it's not gonna be... The DNC is unlikely to be an open convention. They've just given it to Harris and nobody voted for her.
Starting point is 00:21:12 They were reallocated. So that's not democratic, even if it does follow the rules, because democracy is about voting. Obviously, no one seems to be that bummed about this, because I haven't heard many people talk about it Nope, and it's just the money flooded in from who knows where Yeah, they're like, oh we got our person his 250 million dollars so she must be a good candidate because people are donating money though I don't know anyone to donate it. Do you know anybody that was like, I'm so excited about this.
Starting point is 00:21:46 I donated some money. I donated nothing, Pete, just throwing that out there. You OK, you keep that money for your kids college fund. It's it. Yeah, I decided it makes more sense to do this. So there just, there seems like something fishy going on and I wanna get to the bottom of it and I don't know how we can, but I feel like it's worth doing these episodes,
Starting point is 00:22:18 getting feedback from people. Again, if you guys are confused or have questions or maybe have some information that you think is useful, email it into us. Our email is in the bio, we'd like to hear from you. It's cool to get people's perspective on what this is about and try and make some sense of it. We just got to keep an eye on our country here.
Starting point is 00:22:41 We just, we don't want to fall into the authoritarian style of government. Yeah. Or something real wacky on that end. I just, I don't know. Trying to make sense of it here. But anyway, anything else you want to finish up with Pete before we wrap this bitch up? I don't think I have anything else I can bumble through. All right cool well that's it for now and we love you all to death. We will talk to you next week guys. See you guys. Bye Adam.
