My girl, Allie Shapiro, daughter of Jill Zarin, Real Housewives of New York, we met her when she was a little 14-year- old girl. Well, she's all grown up and she got engaged this weekend to her fabulous boyfriend now fiance, Jordan. She has a big huge rock. I'm so excited for her. I met her when she was 13. Well, I guess maybe, no, maybe I met her. When did she get on the show? Whatever. I met her first season of the show and she was so cute and she was the one who taught me how to join Twitter.
Starting point is 00:03:28 She was on Twitter before I was and she explained how it worked to me. But now she's all grown up, she has a successful business. Follow her, she and her mom, Jill, have a successful business with fabulous products, anything from candles to home goods. Check it out, follow her. But so happy for her that she got engaged
Starting point is 00:03:49 at the end of a beautiful vacation that she was celebrating with her mom, Jill and Gary. And the four of them have so much fun together, which is so sweet because she is an only child. And I love their relationship and I can't wait to go to the wedding. Thank you. All right, this is very
Starting point is 00:04:07 interesting news regarding Matthew Perry's horrible untimely death where he struggled with addiction and was found in his own jacuzzi where they found that he had an enormous amount of ketamine in him. This is a drug that is used for therapy but can oftentimes be horribly abused in which that was his case. And five people have been arrested. This is kind of unprecedented. And I'm very grateful that this is happening
Starting point is 00:04:40 and I'm sure you are too. The five people are this woman called the ketamine queen. And her friends are saying, I can't believe it. She goes to charity events, she's been to the Oscars, she's so fabulous. Well, she's looking at either life imprisonment or a huge amount of time. But she is fighting it, she is going to trial.
Starting point is 00:05:04 She was supposedly the one that was supplying all this ketamine to drug dealers as well as two doctors. So two doctors have been arrested who also administered and supplied the ketamine. They have found that there's text messages from these doctors saying, how much can we charge this moron? It's really not an expensive drug. And from what I've seen, he was, besides giving him so many drugs that it killed him, they overcharged him on top of it. Then there is a drug dealer named Eric Fleming
Starting point is 00:05:37 that was the go-between between the ketamine queen and the doctors and his assistant. His assistant is 59 years old. His name is Kenny Ayamasa. He's 59 and he was with him for like 25 years as a personal assistant. He has pled guilty and he is facing 15 years for administering a drug that led to death.
Starting point is 00:06:09 And he was giving him injections. The doctor taught him how to do it, but he would oftentimes do it on his own. Of course, it was, I'm sure, the request of his boss, Matthew Perry, which is this weird place that sometimes personal assistants get into, especially with celebrities that have drug and alcohol problems. They're kind of that catch-all. They do everything from picking up your dry cleaning to, unfortunately, this. I don't think he's innocent at all. I'm glad that he pled guilty, but he's most likely going to do some time for it. In describing himself as a personal assistant on social media, he wrote, I thrive in chaotic situations.
Starting point is 00:06:52 Interesting. Which call for order. I am discreet. Running around. If you, there's so much to this case, but if you read it, it's like he's, there's all these text messages where he's reaching out to the doctors and to the drug dealer and being like, I'll meet you at Third Street Promenade, how much is it? And writing in code, calling it Dr. Pepper, I need more cans of Dr. Pepper,
Starting point is 00:07:15 which is code for vials of ketamine. One of the doctors is like, I know you said you wanted to take a break from it, but I have plenty for you. And the nurse knows to give it to you if you ask while I'm away. I mean, and it just and it was like the the schedule leading up to his death was just every day, every day, every day, getting more and more huge doses to Matthew Perry. He also writes about himself, Kenneth, I am discreet,
Starting point is 00:07:41 loyal and honor absolute confidentiality. I love deadlines, contracts, dotting eyes, and solving puzzling situations and projects. Anyway, so I think it's great that we have these five people. The, like I said, the doctor and the ketamine queen woman, they are going to go to trial and try to defend themselves. But they're looking at a lot of years. One of them is looking at life in prison. The assistant is looking at 15 years. And of course, to remind you guys, this is Matthew Perry's stepdad for many, many years married his mother is Dateline's
Starting point is 00:08:27 Keith Morrison. So I wonder if that had anything to do with it. Maybe knowing about the law, pushing for it helped get this cracked open. I hope that more people that have loved ones that have passed that they are searching who sold the ketamine, who sold the fentanyl, like let's find out who these people are and get them off the street so more families are saved. But this was some positive news in that sad tragedy of addiction. Okay, a little update on the Blake Lively and Justin Valdino. Well, Justin Valdino had hired this PR firm.
Starting point is 00:09:08 Allegedly, this is the same PR firm that worked for Johnny Depp. This is what I heard, I might be wrong, that worked for Johnny Depp in getting stories out about Amber Heard. Suddenly, all these stories about Blake Lively are coming up. We see a video of her being quite rude to an interviewer while she's sitting next to her co-star Parker Posey, where it was just such a bitchy mean girl moment. The interviewer is like, congratulations on your bump. Blake Lively is pregnant. She goes, congratulations on your bump. And Blake goes, and congratulations on your bump.
Starting point is 00:09:47 The woman was not pregnant. And now Blake didn't know this, but she actually struggled with fertility. So that was extra bitchy. And then the two of them, she and Parker Posey, it doesn't make Parker Posey look great either, are just talking to each other like this, ha ha ha, and ignoring this interviewer.
Starting point is 00:10:03 So she's come out, I don't know if the PR company found her and was like, you should tell the story or if with all this, she's like, I got a story to tell because I've noticed a lot of people on both camps pro and anti, Justin and Blake are speaking. And some stories are juicier than others. So there's many cases in which she's coming off real bitchy. Now, the problem they had with this movie, to remind you guys, he is the director and star of it,
Starting point is 00:10:32 and she is the star of it and the producer. And they conflicted creatively. He wanted a certain ending that he felt was more true to the book that was about a woman escaping generational domestic violence from her partner and saying this it ends with us. My daughter and I won't let this happen to us again in her life. And she presented it and wanted to promote it as bring your girlfriends bring your flowers. This is like a really great fun girly movie to see somewhat promoting it like this is this year's Barbie go get your girls and come and So they conflicted on the edit it got the more Blake lively feminine edit and therefore they were not promoting it together though he is not blatantly said anything badly about her sources says she didn't like Justin because
Starting point is 00:11:21 at one point she heard that he asked how much she weighed because he had to pick her up and he has a bad back and he wanted to work with his trainer before picking her up. She was sensitive to that. She had just had her fourth baby so she didn't like him. She also allegedly, according to a source, said the kisses lingered too long. Then there's people that are coming out having great stories about Justin. One girl said when my boyfriend was going to ask me to marry him, he reached out to some of my favorite stars and asked if they could give a video about it. And Justin actually answered. And in his video, he made it very clear, like, it sounds like you have a great guy.
Starting point is 00:12:00 And if this is something you choose to do and you accept his proposal, I hope it's a beautiful life." And she's like, I really like that he was the only person out of these stars, men and women that in talking about the engagement knew that I still had a choice in saying yes or no. So she was very pro him. There's been a couple stories where women are saying he was a little flirty with them. He was a little flirty at a front desk at a doctor's office. He was a little flirty with this college girl that, you know, brought
Starting point is 00:12:30 him to a speaking engagement at the college. She felt he hugged her a little long. I mean, some of these things are stretching. They're also going back into Blake Lively interviews as far back as 2009 and 2012 in which she has said some really politically incorrect statements about transgender people. So then people go, well, hey, that was 15 years ago and people spoke like that. Other people are saying, hey, I was 12 and knew not to speak like that in 2012. So it's all coming out. It's not great.
Starting point is 00:13:03 She is staying silent, which I think is probably the wise thing to do is not to address all these little chatter things. However, it makes for, you know, people are talking and everybody's coming out of the woodwork saying either positive or negative things. And I have yet to see the movie. I would like to maybe go see it this weekend and then give a review of what I think. But I have not read the book either. But there you go with that. Mauricio of Kyle and Mauricio of Real Housewives
Starting point is 00:13:31 of Beverly Hills and buying Beverly Hills. Netflix is not bringing it back for a third season. I was a little surprised by this because I was invited to a Netflix party that was just featuring their reality TV shows at this beautiful estate in Bel Air. I talked about it and there was the Ryan Serhan from the Buying Manhattan show.
Starting point is 00:13:53 There was all the Buying Beverly Hills people there and this was only a couple months ago. There were the Selling Sunset people. There were all the Love is Blind and all that. And so I thought it was coming back. But when I talked to some of them, they're like, we're waiting to see. And they're not. You know, I think it must have just not had the ratings they wanted. And I liked it.
Starting point is 00:14:16 I enjoyed it. But when I look back, I don't think it had the drama. And people weren't as invested in the actual characters of the other real estate people, the way they are with million dollar listing with like Josh Flagg or Selling Sunset. So it's not coming back. There you go. Ariana of Vanderpump Rules,
Starting point is 00:14:38 her brother, Jeremy, who was featured on the show, but there's been some talk about how they have, there's some distance. And some of the narrative out there was that, you know, she's become too high on her horse for him, and she wasn't there for his birthday, though Sheena was, and she wasn't there when he asked his girlfriend to get married.
Starting point is 00:14:58 So the people were kind of like trying to figure out what's the riff. Is it just that she's busy? Is that she disassociating herself because she's too great? Or is it just we're siblings and we're just like not hanging out right now. It's not a big deal. Well, he got arrested and for allegedly trying to fly from Florida, Orlando, Florida to Germany with a suitcase with 76 pounds of marijuana. Now, can I just say as someone who flies a lot, maybe don't go over the weight limit.
Starting point is 00:15:30 I'm just saying, if you're smuggling drugs and you don't wanna draw attention to yourself, I mean, there's been times when I go and it's, now you can pay extra for this if it's up to 75, okay? But I always do the 50. But then there's times where it's like 52, and the girl kind of looks at me and is like, I got you, girl. And she just throws it on the thing. And then there's about other times where I'm that person opening it up, removing the heavy
Starting point is 00:15:54 shoes or whatever to get down to the number. So I don't know what happened. But you know, in defense of her, maybe she knew that he was doing something throughout his life that she didn't totally agree with. Maybe she doesn't know at all. But this doesn't look good. Oh, and I also heard that allegedly Sheena and Lala are filming the Valley to kind of make up for Jax. Jax is not on the show right now because he's in a rehab or a mental like place to get his get himself together while he's separated from from Brittany.
Starting point is 00:16:31 So that's kind of interesting. And of course, still no word on if the show is coming back Vanderpump. But she's meanwhile back in Chicago singing doing fabulous. And we'll see what happens with the brother. Okay, now I want to talk about a very juicy case. It's one that I've talked about many times these past nine years. It is the Lacey Peterson Scott Peterson case. There is a three-part documentary on Netflix. I highly recommend it whether you're very
Starting point is 00:16:59 familiar with this case as I am or not. There were things in there I was not aware of. To tell you this was the inspiration for the book and movie Gone Girl. It was a very good looking couple. She was adorable. They lived in Modesto, which a middle class neighborhood and a cute house. They had only been married a few years. They got married right out of college, and she was nine months pregnant when she went missing with their baby on Christmas Eve. And he came home and she wasn't there. He took, ate some pizza, took a shower, was like, where is she? He sees the dogs in the backyard with the leash on. He calls his mother-in-law, who lives in the neighborhood, that's why they moved there to be close to her mom.
Starting point is 00:17:45 And he's like, I don't know where she, where's Lacey? She's not, is she with you? And she goes, no, she's not with me. And he goes, well, then she's missing. People always thought that was weird that he used the word missing. He calls the friends. The mom's not gonna waste any time.
Starting point is 00:17:59 She gets her husband who is Lacey's stepfather and they go to and start looking around where she would have walked with the dog, which was near this river, which the house looks super cute, but there was some sketchy crime stuff happening within the vicinity, like within blocks of where their house was. There was a robbery across the street. There was always some discrepancy of when that robbery took place. Could Lacey have seen it and intercepted it and they in fact hurt her and not her husband?
Starting point is 00:18:30 Of course the husband becomes the suspect. He tells the mother, Lacey's mother, I was golfing. When he gets taken into custody to ask some questions, not arrested, but ask questions, he said, I took my boat out fishing. I was gonna golf, it was too cold, so I went to my storage unit and took my little fishing boat
Starting point is 00:18:51 and hooked it up to my car and went and put it in the water and I went around fishing and he says exactly where he went in this area, which was quite a drive. And she was gonna finish making cookies. We woke up that morning, we watched Martha Stewart, it was an episode about meringue pie or something, and then I left. And then I came home and realized like her purse was there, the dog on the leash was there, and I did everything right. They're like, well, do you have any witnesses to fishing? He's like, well, I have my ticket from when I checked the boat in. So that timeline is he would have been gone when she would have been walking the dog or not.
Starting point is 00:19:30 So a lot of people are like, he's very suspicious. He's doing interviews. He's good looking. He doesn't seem sad. Then the bombshell happens. This girl, Amber Fry comes out. She's like, I'm his girlfriend. I was his girlfriend. And he went to a Christmas party with me. He was into my daughter. I'm a single mom. And he told me that that he had this would be his first Christmas without his wife that his wife had passed. Okay, everyone's like, Holy shit. They still don't arrest him. There's no body. There's no blood in the house. There's nothing. There's no mattresses missing, there's no sheets missing, things like that. Now, this is also over 20 years ago, so it's not like they're looking at, oh, did he search, Google this, did he Google that?
Starting point is 00:20:14 No, there's nothing like that. So there's so much to the case, and I can't go through it all. But in watching it, you know, the mother the mother is, you know, still mourning her daughter and son, obviously. What happens is four months later, the partial body of Lacey goes up on shore, as well as the nine month baby. They don't know if the baby was born. This is the one thing they didn't know. And this is graphic, and I'm sorry, but they don't know if her body was thrown into the ocean and because of, and maybe there was anchors holding her down and then because of fish and stuff,
Starting point is 00:20:52 it floated back up and at some point, the baby had separated from the stomach or was she and the baby done separate, put there separately, which then would have made it that it wasn't him. They couldn't prove it. The defense and the prosecution could not prove when in fact she was killed. He gets arrested the day they find the bodies. They find in his car that he has dyed his hair orange. He has $15,000 in cash. He has his brother's
Starting point is 00:21:21 ID. He has some knives. He has some extra clothes. But the day that they caught him, he was just in San Diego going to Torrey Pines and he had a tea time. Okay. And they were like, was he going to Mexico to escape? So now he does he does get convicted. Amber takes the stand. He gets convicted. One thing interesting is the two people, the two men that they talked to the jurors that convicted him of murder and sentenced him to life were being interviewed. And my sister Shannon was there, who's a criminal defense attorney, and she goes, well, now this is a defense attorney's dream for this case. I go, what do you mean? She has to have two straight white males doing a case in which they're looking at him. One guy even says,
Starting point is 00:22:04 I didn't believe Scott could do it. He looked like my son. Cheating on your wife doesn't mean that you're guilty of doing this crime. They do end up convicting him. He gets life. He since has been taken off death row and is now doing life without parole. Tonight, Tuesday, on Peacock, he now is going to be speaking for the first time in an interview. Now he has always said he was innocent. He always said he did not do this. And basically the case in his innocence since he's been put away, which his sister-in-law has been at the helm of, has involved witnesses that said they did see her walking that morning,
Starting point is 00:22:44 which would not have made sense, because how could she be walking that morning if he was dumping her body in the sea? There have been, like I said, there were crimes, there was another woman who went missing who was very pregnant. Did somebody want her baby? Did someone take her? Then see what was going on in the news. It was all the news where he was fishing that day and kind of framed him for it. Those are the things. So what could he possibly say in this interview, which I'm going to be watching tonight? And all I can, these are a few of the things that I think that he might say if he's going to stick with his innocence plea, which he most
Starting point is 00:23:26 likely is because he's got the LA Innocence Project supporting him. And that's because they found a piece of duct tape that was never tested, and they want it tested to see if there's someone else's DNA on it. Where this duct tape was found on her body, where it could be, could it have been some trash from something else that was attached to her? I don't know. But I'm just predicting, I do not think he's innocent. I'm just saying from what I've gathered, what I think he might say is, yes, I was a horrible husband. I was getting away with cheating. Amber Fry wasn't the first girl I cheated with. I cheated with other people. I've heard from people that were at a fertilizing convention with him. And this girl's husband said, I remember from 20 years ago when this news article came up
Starting point is 00:24:14 and he popped up, he goes, I was at a convention with that guy. There's no way that guy was married. He was acting like a single guy. So I think he was living a double life. I think you can say I was living a double life and getting away with it. I it was feeding my ego. I got married a little too young. I wasn't totally into having this baby. But I was getting away with it. Once she went missing, I realized I was being seen as a suspect. I certainly didn't want this girlfriend of mine, Amber Fry, to turn on me. So I was continuing the flirting in
Starting point is 00:24:45 which all these conversations were taped, in which he lied and said he was in Paris on New Year's Eve. So that's how I think he's going to explain the Amber Fry thing. But I was a really bad husband and I cheated. But in the beginning, I started keeping the lies. I told my wife, Lacey, I was golfing because she didn't know about the boat. People hide purchases from their spouses. Women hide shoes in the back of their closet. Men might hide a cheap fishing boat. So, when I came home, that's the lie I told Lacey's mother because that was the lie Lacey knew that I golfed. Then why did you lie about golfing? You actually went on a boat. So I'm just saying I think if we get into it and we hear a lot about each little lie, how he
Starting point is 00:25:31 will explain the lie. And then, yeah, maybe I would have taken off to Mexico. You know, I didn't do it. I knew I was a suspect. I was going to maybe live in Mexico even if I wasn't arrested just to get away from the media and everything and just have a little normalcy. And my parents and my family knew about that. I don't know. That's what I'm guessing he's going to say is I was a really bad husband.
Starting point is 00:25:54 I wasn't honest when I should have been about those things because I was trying to still keep my reputation with my family and her family. But that's the truth. I was a bad husband, I was a cheater, and I didn't react the way people thought I should, but I did not kill my wife. That's what I'm guessing.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Not saying I'm for it, that's what I'm saying. Summer is like a cocktail. It has to be mixed just right. Start with a handful of great friends. Now add your favorite music. And then finally, add Bacardi Rum. Shake it together. And there you have it, the perfect summer mix.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Bacardi, do what moves you. Live passionately, drink responsibly. Copyright 2024. Bacardi, its trade dress and the bat device are trademarks of Bacardi and Co. Ltd. Rum 40% alcohol by volume. In Pure Michigan, a fresh outlook is found among the trees as a canopy of color paints a vivid portrait, moving us to branch out to new experiences
Starting point is 00:26:56 full of seasonal flavors and coastal views. Because out on the trails, our connections strengthen with every step. So take root and find that fresh fall perspective in Pure Michigan. Keep it fresh at Michigan.org. Real Housewives of OC is real juicy. I talked a lot about it on my Patreon. You go to HeatherMcDowelland.net. I did a Get Me Behind Gates as well as my regular Friday show about it.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Basically the juicy scoop is that Tamara is saying that Alexis Polino, who is now dating Shannon Bedor's ex-boyfriend, John Jansen, she said that John Jansen has video surveillance from inside and outside his home that will ruin Shannon Bedor's life and ruin her children's life. I'm not I'm not gonna say what it is they're both saying Alexis and Tamar are saying I'm not gonna say what it is but if he chooses to show it, ho get ready Shannon, get ready. I'm like what
Starting point is 00:27:58 is in this video? Did she go in the fridge and just go off on a seven-layer bean dip? Did she slip and fall? Is she yelling at him? Does she have a voodoo doll of a life size voodoo voodoo doll of Andy Cohen? And she does some horrible thing to it. Does she peg him? I don't know. What is it? What is it? But I doubt we're ever going to see it. But I feel this is a form of sort of blackmail, a little bit of revenge porn without the actual porn. It seems really awful and threatening her. And it's not working on Tamra's side. The fans are much more for Shannon. I think Tamra thought I'm going to remove myself from Shannon after the DUI. I don't want to be associated with
Starting point is 00:28:40 the fact that she got into an accident and a DUI, but attacking her on camera and calling her an alcoholic to her face when she's acting calm and being like normal is just not working well for Tamra. And I think she underestimated how the audience would react because they're very pro Shannon and not pro Alexis or Tamra. It seems very inauthentic.
Starting point is 00:29:03 And I think Alexis is like almost acting like Shannon being like, I'm sexy Lexi. Who wants to have fun with this girl? And Tamra's like, she's a shit show, which is what she always used to call Shannon. Now she's joking with Alexis saying she's a shit show. And the audience just isn't buying this authenticity. They're not thinking it's real, and they're not liking it. And they're pro Shannon Bad Bedor in this. All right, now let's get into the juiciness of Countess Luanne. Such a great interview and so fun and we do a fun segment called What Would Lu Do? and we get her life advice on some of these issues that we're all facing today on reality TV and in our real lives. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:29:47 Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have our favorite cabaret star, singer, model, housewife, mother, sexy mama, Countess Luanne. Welcome back to Juicy Scoop. Catfish catcher, don't forget. Oh, that's right. you got the catfish. Oh, captain of your own. I got the yacht and I got the catfish. You have your own boat, you are a captain. That's true, Captain Lou.
Starting point is 00:30:15 Yes, yes you are. And you're wearing the Captain Lou hat. I love that thing. Well, this is my cabaret look, but I love that boat. It's just, you know, it's so much fun. You know, everybody loves it and it's my freedom. When I get on my boat, I'm free. I can go out into the ocean.
Starting point is 00:30:33 I feel like I'm flying and I love that thing because it's a Boston Whaler actually. I've been on it. Don't you remember? You took me on it. That's right, I forgot this one. It is really fun. It's fun, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:30:42 And I love that you know your way around it. Yes, I do. That's like very impressive. And it's fun, isn't it? And I love that you know your way around it. Yes, I do. That's like very impressive. And it's fun to watch your clips from the boat. And it is obvious that you really do enjoy it. That is awesome. No, I love that thing. So yeah, I did take you on the boat.
Starting point is 00:30:55 I forgot about it. I came to pick you up in my Mercedes before that. Yes, yes. And Jill's errands. Yeah. I love it. You have all these shows. You're coming to our part of the woods.
Starting point is 00:31:07 Then you have all these shows in the fall. It's not stopping. Just tell us quickly so people can plan their trips. Well, listen, I have a lot of dates on the calendar. You can go to CountessLamond.com to find where I'm going to be close to you. But the tour is going great. I just got back from London. I was in London. Tilda Swinton came to my show, which was amazing.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Wow. Oh, she goes, darling, you do spend so much joy. I wish you would come and relax for a little bit and come to my humble abode in Scotland, because I'd love to cook for you and take care of you, darling. And it is a humble abode, but I would love to have you. And so anyway, so I'm like, I hear it. And you're like, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:31:46 And I know, it's till this went right, so I've never been to Scotland. So guess what? I take her up on it, and darling, the train departs at 5 p.m. We're gonna have crumpets and a little red wine. So you went to her house. I went to Scotland, and the humble abode
Starting point is 00:31:58 is a castle with 300 acres and a castle. Oh my God, how fun. It was amazing. How long were you there? Just for a night, because I had to leave to come back to Europe. To stay at her house? I stayed at a castle. Oh my god, how fun. How long were you there? Just for a night, because I had to leave to come back here. So you stayed at her house? I stayed at her castle. Oh my god, how fun.
Starting point is 00:32:11 It was fantastic. Then she had a friend staying from Sydney who played the bagpipes. And then we had haggis, which is their local dish that they love to eat. But it was a Scottish delicacy. Anyway, so it was awesome. And then I played at Dublin.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I had five dates in London. All the shows sold out. I mean, it's incredible. Now I'm gonna be going to 2025 back for a new set of shows and then to Australia, which I'm excited about. Oh my gosh. Now have you spent much time in Australia? I've never been to Australia.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Oh, it's one of the few places I've been to twice. When I was on Chelsea lately, we did like a week there, every other year or something, we went for a week and did a show there with the affiliate station. And Sydney is just like lovely. And people are gorgeous. Really, I'm looking forward to it. I know, huh? It's like the and people are gorgeous. Really? I'm looking forward to it.
Starting point is 00:33:06 I know. It's like the best looking people ever. And it's just lovely. Is the affiliate Hey You? Was it Hey You? Oh, back then it was just whatever the network was, but it was through E and then we just did, that was our whole like promo.
Starting point is 00:33:20 We're doing shows from Australia. So we did it like three or four days of shows and then we had like three days to like go on a yacht and go and every night we went to restaurants and it was just like, it's lovely. Yeah, you're gonna love it. You're going to love it. But first I have a lot of shows coming up in the States.
Starting point is 00:33:38 So this fall very busy and then I'm doing also a holiday show so I'm working on that right now and new music for it. Oh wait, speaking also a holiday show. So I'm working on that right now and new music for it. Oh, wait, speaking of the holiday show, I mean, when I think about this one moment that someone reminded me of recently, when you did the song, how does it go? The all I want, no.
Starting point is 00:33:58 What do I want for Christmas? Just how does it go? What do I want for Christmas? Just you. Just you. And you had your co-stars of The Other Housewives doing it. And I remember Leah McSweeney then had a big issue of like, I don't know that I, you know, Mariah Carey here, I don't know if I should lend my voice.
Starting point is 00:34:18 And then, you know, for this song to live in infamy and me not have some credit. How did that ever turn out? Did you then just not use her? What happened with that song? What do you mean? It's on YouTube. It's around. No, so it's fine. So she did it. She did it. It was fine. Yeah, of course she did it. It all worked out perfectly well. But she had to play it up big. If you make so much money off of this, I mean, God knows in the music business, it's very hard with iTunes and
Starting point is 00:34:46 all these different platforms. Right, how you can decipher. Exactly, so I was like, okay, well then you don't have to be in it, so you can go whenever you want, do you know what I mean? Yeah. So, well, she changed her mind. And guess what, now she's in all my holiday shows
Starting point is 00:34:59 and she's totally not, you know, around Bravo anymore, which we know. Okay, let's talk a little bit about the announcement of your new show, which Peacock will be airing. It's you, Shannon Bedore, Giselle, and Ashley from Potomac. And you guys are now four single women. Going to the Love Hotel. The Love, do you know what city you guys are, where you're filming it?
Starting point is 00:35:23 I think Red De Cabo. Oh, that'll be nice in September. In September, isn't it hurricane season? Let's hope not. I've been there in September. Okay. And it's just extremely hot. I think the time, the least desirable month
Starting point is 00:35:38 from what I recall is October. Cause I've been there in November, I've been there in January. Really? Yeah, and it's always been really nice. I just remember October, so I think you'll be okay. And then you'll just be hot, which is fine. You look good in a bikini.
Starting point is 00:35:52 We'll be naked. You look good in a very good bikini, Linda bikini, yeah. And so I know you probably can't tell us much, but do you know the format or anything? You know, not really. I mean, I think it's just, you know, looking for love the second time around in my life. It's the third time around. Yeah. You know, it's even in my song, Mary F. Kill, you know, three times the charm. So catch me if you can. So, you know, it's all about finding love the second time, third time around, how many times it is for the lates, because I
Starting point is 00:36:20 don't really know them very well, right? Right. So we're going to this island. We're being set up, you know, with guys. And I've given them my list, and the list is long. The list of what you want. Exactly. And can you tell us what is on your list of ideal man? Well, ideally, he is kind, generous, tall. In all ways. Tall, handsome. Generous. In all ways, tall, handsome. In all ways. Tall, handsome.
Starting point is 00:36:47 Generous. In all ways, with his heart. With his heart, with his pocketbook, with his tongue. Generous in all ways. You know, listen, luckily I have my own career and make my own money. Now, it would be nice to be regaled in jewels, because you know how much I love jewels. Yeah, yeah. But, you know, it's not that important to me. For me, it's the man who is, you know,
Starting point is 00:37:07 kind, generous, fun, smart, witty, has class, good manners, age. You know, I'd like a man, you know, around my age. You know, who's got grown kids, we're in the same boat, you know, who has time to travel, who has the know, travel, because for me, life is about freedom. Yeah. And so and you know, of course, tall, dark and handsome and. How about tall, gray and handsome?
Starting point is 00:37:35 Tall, gray and handsome is good too. I just know baldies this time around, darling. That didn't work out so well. No, baldies did not work out so well. Yeah. And tall. And European. Yeah. Oh, and you're European. Yeah, oh, you like a European.
Starting point is 00:37:46 Or a Latin, yeah. Yeah, I like it. Okay, so you gave them their list, they have a tall assignment, but regardless, I think it'll be really fun. I think the combination of the four of you guys is fun, and we're missing our Ultimate Girls Trip. Well, it's coming next week on Bravo,
Starting point is 00:38:02 it's airing August 11th. Ultimate Girls Trip that was on Peacock is now airing on Bravo. Oh, okay. But we're not, if we've watched it on Peacock, there's not a new one that we're going to see. No. Because they're holding the Moroccan hostage. Yes. Right. Because of all the legal stuff between Brandi and Caroline. Exactly. And those girls, I've talked to Gretchen Rossi. They're bummed. Yeah, I can imagine and they fans are bummed But then I'm like Okay, that's fine if that has to be put on hold But why are they not doing another one? There should have been two in the can by now, right?
Starting point is 00:38:38 Well that kind of bums me out because I thought I love you know, I think they got I think they had a little burned from this situation Yeah, right. They're not so quick to go back that fast. But I wonder if, I wonder if in doing this show with you guys, if this turns out to be a success, this dating thing, that there might be more stuff in like, let's take Housewives and put them in different kinds of shows not necessarily Well, absolutely Looking at Crappy Lake They took Sonya Knight to do Crappy Lake
Starting point is 00:39:09 But Crappy Lake's not coming back Well, you know, no, we don't know for sure Oh, we don't know, okay Okay, so I, you know, everyone loves when you come on the show And you give such great advice And you've, you know, written a book and everything about etiquette. So I have lots of questions. Oh wait, before I get into that,
Starting point is 00:39:31 you ran into your old friend Bethany. And her daughter, and it looked like you guys had a nice exchange. It was a very nice moment. She said to me, well, I guess life is a cabaret. That's right. And I said, yes, it is. And which is good.
Starting point is 00:39:48 And she said, Brenda's a fan. She would like to have a picture with you. And I said, great, of course. And you know, she was like kind of, you know, water under the bridge kind of moment. And it was just cool. And so that was all good. And then, you know, then I asked her to send me the pictures and I never got them because she posted them first. And then she has me blocked on social media. I'm like, what? Did you then say it's time to unblock me now? Right, yeah, basically.
Starting point is 00:40:12 And she said, well, you are unblocked. I wasn't unblocked, but anyway, I don't know what happened. I'm not good at all this social media stuff myself, but my assistant says you're still blocked. Anyway, and then she does a TikTok, which I i love the next day saying you know how brinn was the bridge that kind of got us back together you know and she said just like i did with my mom and it was like i feel a little bit used right here you know what i'm saying and then because she has me blocked first of all she doesn't show the
Starting point is 00:40:39 pictures and then you know i felt like but you know what i it's all good you know i said to her it's all good. You know, I said to her, it's all good, love and peace. And that's basically what she said to me, you know? So we did actually get over this hump that we had because I haven't seen her in years. I mean, I haven't seen her in years. So, so, you know. And you were just at like a Hamptons house party thing
Starting point is 00:41:01 or what were you at? Yeah, we were at a, we were at a weird you know party that was with Kansas Bushnell and Nicole Miller who my buddies and and she was there and that's what happened you know very casually and but I just was bothered by the fact that I felt like a little like she's this is a moment to say you know you know we're friends again etc. And then you know in the meantime she she still hasn't been blocked, so I don't know.
Starting point is 00:41:26 And then she blocked me on TikTok. Now she got me blocked on TikTok. But whatever. Yeah, that is, that is, yeah, I get it. But I, you know, I love seeing old clips and memes that pop up. Well, listen, there's no doubt that Bethany is one of the funniest people I know.
Starting point is 00:41:43 She's quick. We had some epic fights. I mean, I've had, really, it's no doubt that Bethany is one of the funniest people I know. She's quick. We had some epic fights. I mean, I've had really it's been it's been a great ride with her because, you know, you know, we we go toe to toe. I mean, it's like a real life feud the way we were living our lives on TV. You know what I mean? There was the the one that I'm thinking about is I think you're at Dorinda's. Maybe one of the first times you're at Dorinda's.
Starting point is 00:42:04 And I don't know what she's saying to you, but look over you're like what's going on with you get laid or what? Laid right now. She walks in with the same haircut. Oh, yeah, remember and I was like, oh somebody got there It kind of looks like mine doesn't oh that started her engines. I know how to start her engines. Yeah She comes after me, you know, you fuck this guy, you fuck that guy. I'm like, what are you talking about? It's not even true. It's like making shit up.
Starting point is 00:42:30 And that's when I went in, and she's looking at me with her face like so angry. And I was like, you need to get laid. I mean, what's going on? You know? And then she says, you did this guy and that guy. Whatever she was saying, which wasn't true. And I go, am I the Kim Cattrall of the family?
Starting point is 00:42:45 It was, you know. So with her, you have to have a lot of humor. Starting point is 00:44:04 It's time for dance. And speaking of Kim Cattrall, so Candice Bushnell, for people to remind them, she is the one who wrote the original book, Sex in the City, which then the show was, you know, based off of. Exactly. And so she was essentially the carry of the show and wrote about herself and her friends and all that. And you know, I was on the plane recently and I went and I watched the first season, which I don't even know if I'd seen the whole first season. I did the same thing.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Oh my God, it was so good. Like, and it was different. Like were they talking to camera and all this kind of stuff. And I remember when I interviewed Dorinda the first time, people said, were writing me, I said, oh, I have Dorinda, I'm gonna interview. And they said, ask her about the episode that we believe that it was emulated
Starting point is 00:44:57 after her in Sex and the City, which there was a scene where Carrie, Candice, whatever, says, I have a friend and, you know, she was living in London, she was selling pashminas, and she had this husband that, in the scene, Carrie witnessed the husband being really mean. And then she was like, I'm going to leave him, I'm going to leave him. And then in the end, she didn't. And it was sort of like a weird lesson.
Starting point is 00:45:24 I thought it was great of like a weird lesson. I thought it was great because it's like when your girlfriend sees something bad or you share too much with your girlfriend about your asshole husband, but then you end up staying with the asshole husband, then it's like, where did that leave the character of Carrie? And the girl playing the role was a New Yorker, but she was brunette. And so anyway, I remember I asked Dorinda about that and she was like, I don't know what you're talking about. Yes, I had Pashminas and da da da da,
Starting point is 00:45:52 and I sold Pashminas, but everybody thought I was Princess Diana. I'm like, no, this was, I always wondered. I always wondered if I saw Candice Bushnell. That's what I would ask. Did she know Dorinda? Do you know if she knew Dorinda back in the day? Oh, that I don't know.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I don't think so. How did you meet her? Candace socially, I think through probably, I wanna say Ann Hurst, maybe Nicole Miller. You've known Candace for quite a while. Candace for quite a while, and socially, through my socialite friends, basically, from the Hamptons. You know, like Ann Hurst and, you know, Nicole Miller.
Starting point is 00:46:29 And did she ever mar- Like, I read there was, like, a Mr. Big. Did she ever marry him, or is she still living just her fabulous life? She looks so young. Doesn't she look great? Yeah, she's so cute. And she's adorable. Blonde hair, beautiful.
Starting point is 00:46:44 Yeah, she's gorgeous. She she's blonde hair beautiful. Yeah gorgeous She never married and but there is a real mr. Big. Uh-huh and Apparently he was Editor of vogue or something like that. Do you ever do you watch the new version and just like that at all? I have seen it. Yeah, I have seen it. It's very different, but I can't stop watching it. I'll never stop watching it. It's so good. I love it. It's so good.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Again, that's, you know, that's all from Candace Bushnell. Yeah, amazing. Okay, so I have some things that I came up with. What would Lou do? I know you do a similar thing in your show. Well, I do exactly that. What would Lou do? Oh, that's what it is?
Starting point is 00:47:23 Okay, good. I didn't think I created such an iconic thing. I figured I heard it somewhere. But I have my own kind of scenarios for you that I created, okay? Okay, here's a good one. And some of these are based on things that are actually kind of have happened
Starting point is 00:47:42 in other franchises of Housewives, Real Lives, and some are just actual real life things. Okay. Your friends, your girlfriend's ex boyfriend that you never liked because she would call you late at night and tell you all the awful things that he said and did. You've shared with your other friends, I don't like him for her. They break up.
Starting point is 00:48:05 Now, someone else in your friend group starts to date that same guy. And she brings him around, and he's quite delightful. You actually enjoy him. They seem really into each other, and you're like, maybe you bring him out with your boyfriend, and the four of you have a great time. But she's like, I can't believe you're socializing with my ex-boyfriend and this girl when you
Starting point is 00:48:29 know all these awful things that I told you about him. So have you ever been in that situation, and what would you do? God, no. I can't imagine being with a man that it didn't work out, and then he starts dating one of my friends. I can't imagine being with a man that would, it didn't work out and then he starts dating one of my friends. I can't imagine that. So, well. But you're the friend, I'm saying it was your friend's,
Starting point is 00:48:54 it was your friend's ex-boyfriend that's now dating another girl in your circle. And you're socializing with them. Are you talking about the housewives of OC? Yes I am. How do you know you knew the story? Shanna Bedors. I know.
Starting point is 00:49:07 So Shanna Bedor dated John Janssen. Yes, I know. And he didn't come off great to the audience or anybody because she shared stuff. That he was not nice to her. Yes, and then, but what we saw of him at parties and stuff, very little. One time she was upset and it seemed like
Starting point is 00:49:26 he was defending her and therefore disparaging one of the other women because she thought the woman was mad, was mean to her. Now he's with Alexis Bellino and they're very happy and she's like, you're gonna love him. And I think Shannon feels quite betrayed that anybody would engage in hanging out with him. But then if he were, were they sold the wrong impression or like, how do you navigate?
Starting point is 00:49:53 Cause you have to, you have to be in this circle. You have to be in this circle. Do you just, are you just polite and like keep your distance or? You know, for me, what what are you gonna do? I mean otherwise you look crazy so be polite keep your distance but never forget. Right. Right? I mean who would do that? Yeah. Who would do that? I mean it's just so for me very very disturbing let's say that. Yeah. That's you you know, and if I was interested in the guy, do you think I'd bring him on the TV show?
Starting point is 00:50:28 I'd hide him in my closet. Yeah. Chain him to the bed or something. You can't leave, whatever his name is, you know. John Jansen, but I think that there was no way not being on the show again, because she wants to be on the show, but I also feel like the reason he's coming on the show is to sort of
Starting point is 00:50:49 change the perception that was given about him. Previously. Previously, so I sort of can't blame him for that. I understand that part, okay. As you go deeper into it, it's a bigger story than that. Right. So he's trying to change the reputation he's been kind of been given. Right. and show that he is kind of a good guy.
Starting point is 00:51:08 But it's a big chance to take, isn't it? Being a housewife and you were married when we met you, you guys got divorced. Then the next very significant relationship was, I forgot his name. Jacques. Jacques. And you know he was featured for a couple seasons. How long were you guys together? Four years. Four years. Jacques was great for you know some guys are better on TV than others right? And did he ever have any how did you say when you met him when you met him did he know you were Luanne from Real Housewives? No I told him that I was doing a show.
Starting point is 00:51:46 It was, oh my God, how did I say it? He still laughs about it. A docu, a docu-series. That's what I called it. So I'm doing a docu-series. He goes, oh, okay. Then he found out it was a house. But Jacques, you see, is comfortable in his own skin.
Starting point is 00:52:00 Right, comfortable in who he is. He's fun, he's handsome, right? And he's like, whatever makes you happy, if you want me to come with you, I could, you know. So he was super easy. You know, I didn't have that same luck with some people on the show, right? Right.
Starting point is 00:52:15 But Jacques was great, and you know, even Alex was on the show in the very beginning when I started Housewives, you know, the account. I also wonder though, when Jacques was on, social media was not what it was today. No, exactly. And I think he could go on and have fun. Now if you bring a guy on these people are gonna know exactly who he is, who the ex-wife is, what he did, what he did in 1992, who he brought to prom, you know and go after everything about it. I always wonder about people that do shows like this
Starting point is 00:52:45 like if you have this kind of history and skeletons your club why would you want to put yourself out there and you know I think that's why they have trouble finding you know kind of the fabulous people that they found like you guys back then that really were kind of these society ladies you know money and everything I think it's hard to find and real friends. Yeah. And with Jacques, I remember that there was a time that you were like in the show, I, I'm going to try to get pregnant. I'm going to, you were like in your mid forties and so you're like, I'm going to try. So were you? Oh, believe me, we tried a lot. So you if you were excited to have another baby such a big
Starting point is 00:53:27 difference from your older two kids? Yeah well you know the kids probably at that time were eight and ten. I mean that's so unusual that. Oh I thought they were older than that at the time. Well I got divorced in 96. Oh. I mean what am I saying, 96? 2006. No, 2009. Oh, okay. 2009, so yeah, that's how many years ago already? Of 2009. That would have been 15. 15 years ago, exactly. So the kids are 27 and 29, so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:58 So they were like 10 and 12. Yeah. So it wouldn't be, it's not that unusual, right? But it just never happened, it wasn't meant to be. Yeah. Yeah, it's interesting how life takes care of itself. unusual, right? But it just never happened. It wasn't meant to be. Yeah. Yeah It's an interesting how life takes care of itself and I still have You know, you'd be like going to your PTA meeting right now. Yeah, not not Gavola
Starting point is 00:54:23 Yeah, so that I always think yeah, that's kind of interesting. And like, I had lunch with Ramona and now she's in this, you know, serious relationship. And she said, you know, she was, I like to do my Ramona, so I want to do my Ramona for her. She said, you know what, you know, first I was really upset, you know, that they got rid of all of us for these girls that a lot of people don't think are that interesting. But then I was like, you know what, thank God. Because now I have this great guy. We're either in Palm Beach or the Hamilton,
Starting point is 00:54:54 we have beautiful homes, we have beautiful friends, we're always going off. And I'm like, and I really did, I'm like so happy for her that it worked out that way. Because she said I couldn't really date anyone good every time I'd be set up or they'd be interested and then they Google me they'd be like... And so actually on the first date with this guy he picked a different place that was like kind of happening lovely. And then
Starting point is 00:55:21 she said oh I didn't want to go there because I was afraid someone would see me and they'd approach me. And then he'd be like, wait, what the fuck is this? Right? So then she said, she goes, so I said to him, I said, you know what, I think it's a really great suggestion to be nice for you. But I'd like to talk to you more. So I'm going to pick this little quieter place. And then, you know, and now they're off and running. And I think it's great. Did you see her post though recently what she said about New Jersey? Yeah, oh God, she just can't.
Starting point is 00:55:49 It's so remotive. It's so remotive. And it's like she just doesn't change. I know, she keeps stiffening. No one should expect her to change. Exactly, it is what it is. It is what it is. So for people that don't know, she did a post
Starting point is 00:56:00 and she looks cute. And she's like, I'm just gonna do it in her voice. It's so good. You know what? You're gonna be so surprised, I really stepped out of my box. And she looks cute, and she's like I'm just gonna do it her voice You know what you're gonna be so surprised I really stepped out of my box am I in centra pay no am I in me Kudos no The Hamptons no, I'm actually in New Jersey. It's actually really nice Gorgas like thanks a lot like I love that everyone has a sense of humor about it though. No one's gonna get mad at her because it's her. I know, it's just so her. And Jersey, there's some great parts of Jersey.
Starting point is 00:56:35 There's all over the place. Listen, I grew up in Connecticut. There's crappy parts of Connecticut, that's for sure. I've ever gone to Bridgeport. I love Connecticut, but it ain't Greenwich. So you know. Yes, it's just so funny. It's gone to Bridgeport. I mean, I love Connecticut, but it ain't Greenwich. So you know. Yes. It's just so funny.
Starting point is 00:56:47 It's just so funny because, you know, I think that she doesn't really put a lot of pre-planning into what comes out of her mouth, you see. No. Obviously. No. Obviously. But you guys are good. Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:04 Yes. I just had Ramona over at the house. I had a party at my house. No, but you guys are good. Yes, yes, yes. I just had Ramona over at the house. I had a party at my house. Yeah, I think I saw a photo of that and you guys looked really cute. Okay, so here's another one. Now this is a personal friend of mine, okay? So she is, I think she's about 39, okay?
Starting point is 00:57:20 And she's been dating, she never married no kids. And she's been dating this guy, he's a professional, divorced. Wait, married, no kids? She's never been married, no kids. Oh, never married, okay. She's dating a guy who's, I think he's probably like, maybe 10 years older than she.
Starting point is 00:57:40 And divorced. How old is she? Like 39. He's divorced. Daughter is probably like, you know, maybe 16, one kid. So she's going to be off soon. And they met a little before COVID, then kind of fell in love during COVID.
Starting point is 00:57:57 Then it was back and forth and all this. And this whole time that I've known her, broke up, he'd always come around. I'd go and there'd be flowers at her house and sniffing around, sniffing around. In the meantime, she tried to date what she thought could be her type. So like a very, you know, kind of boring,
Starting point is 00:58:20 but really like good hearted spiritual Christian guy. That wasn't it. Then this guy that's just the nicest one in the world, not sexually attracted. And she would tell me and I'd be like, you're not into him, you're not into him. So now the guys come back. And I come back from the trip
Starting point is 00:58:36 and I'm like, what's been going on? And she's like, I'm like, so you're with him? And she's like, yeah. And I am like, I say go for it. I say, you know, I think he's now realizing you are the one. And so now here it is. He wants her to move in. Okay.
Starting point is 00:58:54 But she's not going to give up her place, which I think is good because she owns her place. So I said, don't give up the place. And then, but does, how does she say, or do you think does she say, or do you think she should say, I would like more of a commitment, like a ring? Like without maybe saying, I want a ring. Maybe I need a symbol that this is,
Starting point is 00:59:15 that this is going forward and you see us spending the rest of our life together. I don't know. In the meantime, they are, you know, having sex without protection and we'll see what happens because she's, you know, would like to have at least one child. Right. What do you say to someone like that though to kind of get what you want without being
Starting point is 00:59:35 saying it without being the ultimate of and looking weird and manipulative? Well, you know, I think he doesn't live with her, right? Or she doesn't live with him. No, but she did say I don't like this house. It doesn't have a yard for my dog. And then he did go. Yeah, and then he found another house. You're kidding.
Starting point is 00:59:52 And she does like the house. Oh, okay. So I thought that was a pretty big thing. That's a big, bold move, right? Yeah. To another house. Yeah, and so she does like the house. And the house is appropriate and great
Starting point is 01:00:03 for like her dog and having a garden in the right area And I think at this point in life you have to be honest with people. Yeah, you know, you know, I want children You know that I adore you, you know, where are we going with this? You know, yeah, can I you know? That I think you just have to be honest like this is what I want. Yeah. Oh, is this what you want? Do you want the same thing? You know, he's never been married. Oh, no, he's been married. Yeah So it's important for me because I want to have a family and I don't want to waste my time I would go straight in yeah, I would go straight in and go
Starting point is 01:00:36 You know look, I mean, I think you're great. You know, I love you I don't know what her status is. She really loves the guy or she just no I Is an opportunity for her to have a baby? No, I am so I think she has loved him all these years But with going back or that it's been going on for like four years, so I think that going back and forth You know and then just being that we feel safe yeah Feel sad cuz you feel safe so yeah, so she doesn't feel safe. Yeah. She doesn't feel safe, because she feels safe. So she has to feel safe. But nobody else that she's dated, she's liked. Right.
Starting point is 01:01:09 So he has to make her feel safe. Yeah. So this is what I need, right? This is what I need from you. I mean, I'm not saying put a ring on it. I'm saying, you know, I love you or whatever it is that she loves, she loves the guy or not. And you know, I'd like to have children.
Starting point is 01:01:26 And if you're not into this, what I imagine for myself, I need to know so I can move on. I mean, it's very simple really, right? I think she should and I think she should go for it. I think she should go for it, listen. I think if someone's coming around that many years, I don't think it's a bad thing that it didn't work off the bat I don't think it's bad. It happens all the time. Yeah all the time, you know old, you know friends that were never lovers
Starting point is 01:01:55 They become lovers, you know, yeah their partners, you know It's and in and it's about trust like I need to trust that this is, you know, this is where we're heading. You know, if we're not heading there, I need to know so I can head elsewhere. And that will prompt him to respond in the way that she wants, which is, well, yeah. What do you want? Yeah. This is what I want.
Starting point is 01:02:19 So that's my answer. Yeah, I like it. Now, this has probably happened to you. What do you do when you think you found a little fun boy toy who wants, he's the one who wants more. And you don't know if he can graduate to being a man friend, a real boyfriend. How has that happened? I'm sure it's happened to you. Where you find some young hot guy and it's a fun kind of casual thing and then he wants to make it more. It hasn't happened to me.
Starting point is 01:02:51 Oh really? I usually get bored. So you're the one that dumps it before? Yeah, probably. If I think he's not the man that I want, do you know what I mean? Oh, okay. That I think he can be the man.
Starting point is 01:03:04 Okay, then how do you blow someone off? How do you break it off with someone? Do you ghost them? Do you have an official conversation? Do you just say, I'm busy, I'm busy, and then they get the hint? You know, it had happened to me with a guy and he was just not right for me.
Starting point is 01:03:19 I mean, super attractive, good looking, whatever, but I know he's a player. So I don't want a player. I really don't want somebody who's solid, who I know is going to be got my back and who I can count on, who I can trust, who's loyal. So then I said, you know what, this is not working for me kind of thing, basically is what he said and moved on. I'm all about right now where I'm at in my life
Starting point is 01:03:46 is all the honesty, living with my heart. When you do with your heart, you can never go wrong. The minute you start thinking, so and I talk about this in the show, in our guts we have neurons. There's more neurons in our gut than in our head, right? So it's called gut instinct for a reason. Oh, I never even thought of
Starting point is 01:04:05 that. Well, yeah, your gut tells you what to do. And guess what happens? We go up to here to the line and go, well, you know this and you know that. And maybe he's going to do this and maybe he's going to marry me. You know, your gut knows. And I know that because it's happened to me. I've had the, you know, runaway bride moments for sure. Yeah. For sure. And so now I do everything with my heart. I don't do anything I don't wanna do and I do the things that I love to do.
Starting point is 01:04:38 Well, speaking of the gut, obviously one of the biggest moments in your life that was captured on film was when you're on the trip and Bethany reveals that she has gotten a photo of your then-fiance, canoodling it appears, at a bar back in New York while you guys are on your trip. And please don't say it's about Tom and what you know what were you feeling at that moment and in retrospect what would you have done differently? Well I mean in retrospect I would not have married him you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:17 But love is blind you know. And so what did you tell yourself about that? That it wasn't a big deal? You know that story, you know who took the picture, right? You heard about that. Well, yeah, because I had Caroline Radzowill. I know, you're the one. Yeah, she came out and said it. And she said it was Michael Cohen. Remind your audience. Michael Cohen, the attorney, was friends with Bethany's boyfriend.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Girlfriend. No, I thought, no, but he was also friends with her boyfriend who passed. Yeah, poor guy. He told Carol that many years later that he got a message from that guy. What was his name, the guy that passed? I'm sorry, I don't remember. Dennis. Dennis.
Starting point is 01:05:55 He got a message from Dennis saying, hey, can you go downstairs because he lived above or lived right next door to the Regency and take a photo. But how, but the question I had was, so then who initially heard that that was going, like was it set up? Did she, she- Of course, everybody knew.
Starting point is 01:06:18 So Bethany knew? The crew, production knew, the housewives knew, I was the last to find out. So what so what okay so now walk me through what really happened. Well, I mean we were in celebrate on the yacht member we yeah, I'm so happy and etc. and then we go to Miami because yeah that means Miami we're all going to Miami, etc.
Starting point is 01:06:42 and to celebrate my engagement, basically. And that's when they kind of know what's happening and I don't, that they have this picture. She tells the others, but nobody tells me. And then she just whips out her skinny girl margarita mix. Shaking. Shaking. Shaking.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Drinking it. Crocodile tears coming down. I hate to do it. Well, no. Yeah, right. Don't tell me it's about Tom, but of course it's about Tom. And yeah, the story goes on from there, but the person who took the picture was Michael Cohen for Bethany, basically. Ed, but my question is, did you ever find out how that, how Bethany and her and her boyfriend at the time got word that he was there and because they were friendly with a girl that knows the girl which was an ex-girlfriend.
Starting point is 01:07:38 So they said they orchestrated this is orchestrated. So Tom ever goes because they knew that he was seeing this girl, uh-huh They knew he was seeing this girl on the side, which is an ex-girlfriend and Her besties friends with Bethany and Dennis and said oh my so it's those going ever they Tom makes in another date with her you tell us got it So they got a call that he's going there that night at six o'clock or seven or whatever it was at the Regency.
Starting point is 01:08:06 And that's when Michael Cohen comes in. Okay. So here's one. This is also from the OC happening currently, which is pretty juicy season. There's this girl, Gina, she's been on a few years, and she has three younger kids. Oh, see, Gina, what's her last name? Kersh, Kershian something. Anyway, she's a blonde realtor. Yeah. Okay, so now she's a realtor. So when we meet her, she has a
Starting point is 01:08:33 husband right off the bat, he's having an affair, they get divorced. And it's not a good divorce and all this stuff. And she, she gets a DUI, and she becomes stuff. And she gets a DUI and she becomes sober and she gets her real estate license and she gets this boyfriend. And she's showing it all. She doesn't have a lot of money. She's not getting a lot of money from the husband.
Starting point is 01:08:57 So she's in this small house with her three kids and now her boyfriend is also going through divorce and his three kids and now she is saying on the show I Am doing better and I want to get my own house because I think it's unfair that my three kids Are having to share with these other three kids and I feel bad about it I thought it was such an honest moment. Is it her house and not his or what? It's very equal. It's like it no they got a house together. I see so it's not her house or his house. No.
Starting point is 01:09:35 And I mean on it. Why would they get a bigger house? Well they it I think she can afford a bigger house and doesn't want to bring the three other kids. I see. Because she's just like thinking about her own kids and maybe, and I just thought it was a really honest thing because it's like, it doesn't make her a bad, they're not married, but it doesn't make her a bad stepmother. It makes her just go, you know, my kids are getting bigger.
Starting point is 01:09:59 They need privacy. When it first started, they had three bunk beds in each room and they kind of mixed the kids based on age or sex or whatever. These three kids are together. And even if they're getting along and like love each other, I could see her just being like, you know, let me do my own thing. And then she was like, well, maybe we could still date. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:19 I mean, that's wise. Yeah. It's like protecting yourself. And, you know, she just got divorced or it just got divorced right? Why would you jump into another? You know relationship and also with a man who's trying to get a divorce himself and having all that like right? So I got that you can like somebody like that Of course you can because you know, there's attraction and all these things, of course
Starting point is 01:10:42 But you stay in your house and I'll stay in mine and we see each other until we figure this out, right? I mean, it seems a little fast. I also think advice to somebody too is, you know, you're not married and you do have these kids. Right. So unless you are getting a financial gain by moving into your rich boyfriend's giant house and it's like a less of a burden for you, then you should definitely live on your own because it also gives you that little bit of a freedom in case something else comes along. Not that you're going to cheat on your boyfriend, but like maybe you'll meet somebody and you'll be like, you know what, I don't know that this is such a strong relationship.
Starting point is 01:11:26 I want to go here. Because I feel like she's at that age. Right, but like I said. That she could meet somebody really fabulous. Right. If she were single. Right, if she were alone and had the opportunity. But now she's married again.
Starting point is 01:11:37 That's okay. Whether you're married on paper. Right. You're still married because now you're bond together in this house living together. Yeah. That's too small. I mean, it's a terrible idea. You're still married because now you're bound together in this house living together. That's too small. It's a terrible idea.
Starting point is 01:11:48 I think you got to keep your freedom. And also, you're putting your kids around people that you don't know. Do you know if they're going to be there for the long run? Then they love somebody and a sister or brother now, a step that doesn't pan out? People have to be more careful than that, to be more protective of their own families, especially when everybody's going through a divorce and a tough, tumultuous kind of time.
Starting point is 01:12:18 There's a famous saying that says, when in doubt, duck. That means don't do anything until you figure it out, which is change places, change homes, change relationships. You know, when you're doubtful, you just have to duck and think and not react. People react so quickly because they react from emotions instead of going, okay, what is the best thing for me and my children? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:12:43 Yeah. It becomes more about the relationship and you know, and I get it, but you know, live separately. I saw this and- Unless you're moving into a fabulous house with staff. Unless it's really elevating your life, yeah. And it will be a benefit to your kids, you know? You and I always agree on these things.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Yeah, like you know. Now, there's lots of weird wedding things happening with the younger generation. And there was an article in People saying that this came out, you know, through social media, that someone got a non-invite. They got a letter saying, You were not invited.
Starting point is 01:13:22 We're getting married. We're getting married. I love it. In six weeks or whatever., you are not invited. We're getting married. We're getting married in six weeks or whatever. And you're not invited. It's a small amount of people and you're not invited, but you'll be in our thoughts or something. And it was like, okay, is this just a hint to get, Ridden friends? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:40 Friend groups. It's a great way to get rid of friends you don't want. Right. And just to be like, or I mean, I think you get married at the smaller thing, you keep it. But I guess this is where I think it is. I think if they were like, look, it's going to be small with social media and with people talking, they might hear that it's happening and be really offended that they weren't invited. So is there a way I think you don't send out a card I think you personally call someone and say it's three hours away we're doing it small like I don't know what do you do in a situation like that? You know I invite the
Starting point is 01:14:13 people that I want and the rest you know what you just can't have everybody all the time. And you don't have to explain yourself? Of course not. Okay. Of course not unless they're like really dear to you and you say, look, you know, there's only so much room for the family. So unless they're really dear to you, I mean, why, you don't have to explain why you can't have, I think people are, you know, understand enough, at least the people I wanna know.
Starting point is 01:14:35 Yeah. That, you know, if you can't invite them, there's a reason. It's not personal. Here we go again about emotion being, you know, taking it personal, it's not personal. When you had your Mistake wedding you know, you didn't invite I couldn't invite everybody
Starting point is 01:14:50 But you didn't invite the cast members or did you might invite any of them that any of the other housewives? Didn't I invite Kelly was there because Kelly and I were tight then I Think I invited Dorinda was my bridesmaid. Oh, okay. So she came yeah, yeah Dorinda was one of my bridesmaids Oh, Kelly was there Reminded the time we weren't you know that tight. Yeah Jill was there. So yeah, okay Yeah, so you just didn't invite the people that you thought might have been negative chatter exactly Yeah, you don't want the negative energy at the time. Yeah
Starting point is 01:15:21 negative chatter. Exactly. Yeah, you don't want the negative energy at the time. Exactly. I never want negative energy. No, you don't. And you know where you're never going to have a negative energy? At the Luann Show. I just want to spread joy doing cabaret.
Starting point is 01:15:32 That's all about it. At the cabaret shows. So everybody, go to Luann Show. You know I've been a bunch of times. There is not a more fun evening. It really is so fun. Get your girls, get your crew, have fun. The songs are great, the stories are great, the energy is so fun. And have a great time.
Starting point is 01:15:55 It's a pop culture experience too. And she has all this visual stuff. I show clips of things and then I go to a story and then I go to a song. I mean, I have so much fun creatively with the show. And the outfits. Jovani. The outfits are's Giovanni. They're still Giovanni. So, you know, it's it's it's it's pop culture meets cabaret meets comedy meets a fashion show really. And it's it's a party and you are invited to that party. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. And people love it because, you know, like I always say, you know, you come in, you know, know what
Starting point is 01:16:23 to expect and you're like, Whoa mean this is a really great show anyway I work hard at it I love it Mary F kill my new song just got remixed by Tracy Young who won the Grammy with Madonna so super exciting and you know got a lot going on let dates coming up and you know this dating show dates and dating yeah that's what's happening for me right now. And I actually manifested this year that I'm gonna find the next love of my life and I actually put it in the song. They say three times the charm so catch me if you can. Oh I love it that's right. Ask and receive. So put it out there
Starting point is 01:17:02 everybody. Yeah. And enjoy. Thank you so much. You're always so fun. Because life is a cabaret. You write it yourself. Exactly. That's right. Everyone said, she's talking about cabaret.
Starting point is 01:17:12 Oh, and you know what? You write your story. Nobody's going to write it for you. You know, you were the first one that got so much shit, and I remember right when it happened, I said, I do that. When you went off and took a photo in front of your poster That's right. Now J Lo's doing it I just thought J Lo go to the grocery store in the Hamptons with her bike to go visit her poster for her Delano
Starting point is 01:17:35 drinks Yeah, and then I think was Hugh Jackman or somebody went and did a photo in front of their poster on Sunset You see I started to try. I know! And you know, and guess what? I'm not bringing a truffle fries either. And that was a Jackie Gleason theater. It's an epic theater in Miami. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:17:53 Everybody should do it. No, but I mean people are... Right. It's crazy. They were a little jealous. Oh, yeah. You just want to take a swim in the beach. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:18:01 Swim in the ocean. I just wanted to go swim in my bikini. Thanks, girl. You're the best. Thanks, Heather. That was great. Get ready for Las Vegas style action.
