Hello and welcome to this episode of Keep Your Poses, sweetie. Today I have, Mr. Jesus is Bob and himself. Yeah. Country Wayne. Hi, you're welcome. Do you want to be addressed as the Wayne? Well, yeah, people call me Wayne. Wayne.

People just be like Wayne. Wayne, okay, so Wayne, we got Wayne in the house. For sure. Better known as country Wayne, you have a new book out called Help Is On The Way, which is what we titled this episode. Okay, that's a set. I think about Help Is On The Way.

Yeah, I love her version. Mm-hmm. So good. So good. Let me tell you a little bit about you in case you don't know. I'm going to tell you a comedian, a social media personality, who is formerly a rapper. Yeah. I didn't even know that.

Yeah, yeah, I just bit. But it ain't worked. It didn't work. No. Okay. You know for your comedy content, which is what, but it ain't work. It didn't work. No. Okay, you know for your comedy content, which is what how I was introduced to you on Instagram, but you had a video that went viral in 2014 on Facebook.

Is that when everything just kind of went? Yeah, that's when it owned. Well, the video took off, but I didn't take off, but I took off with it like I kept working. You saw something. You wanted something here. Yeah, I already knew. For sure. That's good. Okay. You made funny short videos about life and convenient unfortunate moments and then since 2015 you've been doing stand-up comedy which is really taking off. I've noticed it's here on the road all the time now and you've

appeared in films such as Brazilian Wavy, The Turnaround, Holiday, Heartbreak and then most recently the movie is together praises. Praises, yeah. Yeah. Some of the other movies you name in films such as Brazilian Wavy, The Turnaround, Holiday, Heartbreak, and then most recently, The Move We Dids, You Got The Praise This, You Got The Yeah, yeah, yeah. Some of the other movies you name, I don't even know what they, I don't know. Did you do this? It was one of my own, I didn't really do that.

Where's my, let's turn it like, No, no, it was something, you know how to be, You know how to be your first though, I ain't gonna knock people moving, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, you like me, you know what I how to be me first though I ain't gonna not be able to move right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You like me, right? Yeah, I guess I didn't do that. Yeah. That's what we're doing. It's evening. We're gonna find these movies. I like you know how to do it. Okay. So I remember I met you on the set of phrases. You were the DJ.

Yeah. You had some really funny moments in that, too, and funny, and you're very quiet on set. Yeah, I'm a quiet person for it. I'm a great listener. Mm, gosh, you're okay. So I guess you are extroverted when it comes to work. Yeah, but like, Wayne, in real life, is just kind of chill.

I'm chill, I'm real chill, because that's how I soak up my content. Okay. I listen to people, So I'm a great listener. In the order to be a great talker you got to be a great listener. So I just like to listen. I love that. That's good. So tell me clearly about you. I know you grew up in a small town in Georgia where at a young age you're exposed to criminal activity. Yeah. I want to know a little bit more. Yeah man. Well, hey, it's something to book. I was a dope boy. So, you know, I was a dope boy in the time. My daddy was a dope boy.

My uncle was a dope boy. So, you know, I hustled. As soon as I graduated high school in 2006, I started hustling immediately. I got a call. I got 10 years probation. And then I tried to go work in nine to five, but child support was kicking me in. So I had a, it wasn't enough. So, man, it wasn't enough.

So how many kids do you have about the end? How many? I was 22 with seven kids. Wang. What? That's why everybody's thinking now. They don't know. I haven't been on, I haven't been really,

you're doing it. I haven't been like that since, I'm 22, I'm 35 now. I haven't been like that since. I was out there like, from the age of 14 to 22, those were my real women days. So people have been seeing me, I got a lot of kids, they'd be thinking like, but no, I had seven of them

by the time I was 22, since I was 22 to 35 on that three kids. Wow, okay, so you slowed down a lot. Slowed down a lot. Okay, so get back to it when your child's part was kicking you ass. Child's part was kicking me and my daddy's brother, we were riding one day. And I was like, bro, I asked some of us, I said, man, we get some money to go to work.

I wouldn't pay you back when I get paid. Say, son, I was just about to ask you. So I went to the bank, got me along, because I always kept my credit straight. And I knew how to go to my new bed banks. I got a bar some money when it bought me a full weight. What's the full weight? The 4.5 miles of the cocaine.

I ain't look back ever since. I was, man, it was a killer flippin'. I'm not as right. Wow, that's crazy. So yeah, night clubs all day. You wouldn't got alone to get some cocaine. Yeah. You were a business man for real.

Yeah. Yeah, business man, I'd like might like to think I'ma go get this one and get this and then I'll pay the loan back. Pay the loan back. And still have extra money. Still have extra money, man. So I was taking a child's support. And I was chasing my dreams. So this time when I went back,

I ain't going just to sell drugs. I was like, man, I'ma go be I'm pushing my career. So I was using the money. Some of the money to fund my rap career. Wow. You know, but you know, so I was using the money. Some of the money to fund my route career. Wow. You know, but you know, so that side was, I was in small town. Big fish. What part of Georgia was it?

Millen Georgia. Mill half-hour is there for Millen? About three hours. Okay. But then I went to Staceyburg, Georgia. So that's about three, Georgia Southern University. Yeah, that's about to say yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Did you go to, that's where you went to school? No, I ain't going to. I went to college. I went to college. I went to community college just to get the student loan check. That my first time buying cocaine. What's that? Wait, oh my god. I got this, I got this student loan and pill grant.

I was listening, yeah. I didn't get, I had my last year of college, I got to see them on other net dollars, I had scholarships. But you turned them down? You turned them down? My parents are really big on not coming out of those cars with debt.

So, I had to get that money. I had to get it. It's through the loan. It felt like free money. And so you got to pay it back. They never never free. Listen, I know a lot of people right now like please forgive me for my through the long. Black people don't forget they sell. Yeah, I don't know why they were wearing about that. Man, why ain't everybody that's through the long bill like that.

They're gonna hit a lot of people. We pay that bad. Like nobody's been just paying those through the long back. Right. Your career got to be set. And then you got to me, you said again, you gotta be double-crossed like, are you sure I'm making this money? Right. And then pay it back, right? I wish you.

I'm not paying for it, man. Not for real. We care about this though when we get up. When you're there, you're not thinking that. I'm trying to survive right now. I don't care about no student loan or hospital bills. You should have gotten me when I was at the hospital. I'm not paying that stuff. We're getting a comedy show with the show. I love this. This is so good.

Okay, so you ended up going to Statesboro. Then what was like the shifts where you started to see, okay, you sound drugs. And what was the shift where you like, okay, let me, did your career start taking off? We're like, I don't have to do it anymore. What's the next point? No, I sold it for 2014 when I went viral.

With the comedy, I quit the rapping thing right then. And I just started being a system. But I was still, I had over a million followers. People know me. And I still hustling the whole time. I had a nightclub. And then I got my second nightclub. So I could finally quit selling dope.

Because I wouldn't get in the old, I wouldn't get shows like that. I was getting some shows. But January 2016, I finally quit for real. And I started, I said, I'm gonna do this comedy for real. And then I started touring. But I was making like a third or fourth of a month, but I was like, man, this ain't nothing. Cause you know, the child's putt, you know.

But then, this time you had him in kids, we was up to what? I was at eight. Eight, okay. I was at eight. But what okay. I was at eight. But what happened was I went to a show one day and I made 20 coming to club and I made like 20 grand in one week. And a week, you know what I can do is in one weekend. I said, oh, I'm from the big of me.

No, I knew I was about to make it. So then I was like, but that was 2016 when I really felt that confidence really quick. You know, every single day, you know, I've just been granted. I love that. I love that. So I know a lot of comedians find humor and the inconvenience in their pain as Kevin Hartz has laughed at my pain. What is that what really started and what was the thing you're like,, I'm gonna talk about this. I wanna shed light on this and let's make fun of it. Oh, because I had information on the streets.

So I knew nobody could tell my story because most people don't make it out the way I did. And I was sober through the whole thing because I never did drugs. So the whole time through my mama life, my uncle's life and my life, I was able to capture these moments and pictures, you know, and women, you know what I'm saying?

So I learned women. My mama told me a lot about them. So me learning women, I knew a lot of people weren't gonna be able to talk about it as detailed as me because I listened to women. So you were sober through it, so. Yeah, I'm sober, so I know what it. So you don't drink and nothing, nothing, nothing.

No, I don't. And you're vegan. Yeah. I'm sober, so I know it. So you don't drink or nothing? No, I don't. And you're vegan. Yeah. Wow. So you just, temple is just clean. Ain't nobody preferable guy, but I drink water. It might your visit.

Yeah. The business that fades. I know that's right. So you have a new book called Help Is On The Way. Stand Up and live your truth. And you talk about a couple lessons in the book and one of them was sometimes all you have is your pride and that's often the only person who can help you push you forward is you. You mentioned in the book about being introduced to God at the age of six. Just tell me about your experience in your faith because you're very vocal on Instagram. And I'll be honest with you, one of the things that really made me say,

I want Wayne on this show, was when you talked about forgiving your parents. That was, I talked about on my Get To Know Me episode, some things that I went through my childhood, and just the pressures of that, and learning as adults to forgive our parents, for whatever you'm saying we have been holding or whatever. And when you said that, I was like, wow,

you hit home, it was like the timing of that post was like precise. And I was like, wow, I just even your perspective and to be mature enough to be like, hey, dad, I forgive you. What, how's that journey even being introduced to God? And how was he with you even when you were doing the things?

Yeah, I just, you know, when I was young, I heard my grandma and my mom were gonna talk about Jesus. So I was, I chose to believe it for real. They was talking about them, but I'm gonna tell them, okay, this is what we believe in. So I really was crazy enough to really believe in Jesus in that six years old. Like I put in my book, I was talking to a flower one day

and I was like, I know you can talk. And then and I was like I ain't gonna tell nobody if you're just speaking to me it's between me and that flower was saying yeah well I went to the house told my mom and then came I said look the flower talk I said come and listen to the flower I say look now I know I said I want to tell nobody and that flower ain't say nothing to the jump, but I always had crazy faith and I seen it work. I felt on the bus at one time and I flipped and I told my mom and she came out of the

room and I said no God. He helped me down and let me slow so I had this crazy faith and I just seen it in life. Everything I got in, I was able to get out. I was able to get out like, even when I saw drugs, I know Jesus was real because he cleaned my reputation. I got all these kids and all my parents, but when people see me, they don't feel that energy. And I'm like, but it was him, but I picked up the barber 2012 while I was in the streets

because you lose them. You lose God on the way to life when you start wanting to be yourself and I learned. Even though I wasn't with him, he was still with me. And I felt his word. Because he can't be in no mess. But that's why he give you his word and come and sense. So I noticed the difference of having his word

and having him. But 2012, I was up, had money, had, you know, the call. I was like, I'm up in the wrong world. I say, I'm the man working at bedonels is actually better than me right now because if I got $100,000, I'm in the streets. I'm on the negative end of the rule. Remember in school, you got 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, negative 50gat and Gain has no less than that. And it says it in the Bible, so I'm like, I don't really so far behind. So I picked that Bible. It was my niece Bible, and I still got that Bible.

It's in the truck right now. And nobody told me how to read it. I said, man, everybody tellin' go to this verse, go to that verse. I started from the beginning. And I read it through a tomb by the year. Until this day, I read it through seven times. On my A-trip now, and I don't miss a date, but it was that word.

Wow. That was the origin of life. And once I tell them to that, he started getting me out of the streets. And then when the social media came, I was knew what it was. I had just read a verse. He said, try this, try this, try that. And he said, perhaps I'll love him. And it could happen.

And I seen it. And I would like, so everything, something come, old, this way. So you can apply it. I can, you know, it's preparation for it. Wow. All right. A man after guys on heart.

That's amazing. I love that. I love that you, it's very impressive that you've read the Bible seven times in your age trip. That's crazy. A lot of people don't even have their attention span. Like, how long do you read every day? I read a page a day when I first started, I guess my spirit was so hungry.

I was reading like 15 pages. But then I got to the point where it only had to be one time a day. Because you know it now, you just more like a refresher. No, it's just like, it's so much, if you read too much, it's like good food. Yeah, mm, okay, yeah. It's real good, it's potent, so you got to take it in and that verse be,

that verse be in and everybody trying to understand by the read and I had to learn, you don't supposed to understand it all the time. It's like, if you take I had to learn, you don't supposed to understand it all the time. It's like, if you take medicine for your foot, you don't know how I get to there. You go through your mouth. So the Bible, when it comes in you, it comes out when needed.

And it really helped me with business for real, because I get my... You do. I... Every deal, I just can feel... I just know what to... That discernment. no, no. And most of the time, we're by the time

it comes to me, it already be, because energy just knows. Yeah. So that battle is important, from real, especially when it comes to this world, because it's the world's wicked. It is, it is a very wicked world. Did you ever go through a season of unbelief

and staying away from God? Maybe because of what you were doing, or were you like always like tapped in. There was never, people tried to run me away. Wow, people tried to run me. The church. At the church tried to run me away. I went out there at the nightclub and then we had successful night and nobody got in the fight. I put on Facebook. Thank you God for letting us have a safe night at the club and people from the church and the community was like, we don't like the way country Wayne put in God and what he doing. I say, why would God go help something clean? We in the club, we had to save night. I don't

care what they say. So even now when I did the Jesus Popping Brand, people were like, you put that in what you're doing because you know I got the women in the skits playing these roles. I'm like, bro, man Jesus is whatever I'm doing. Hello. I love you. And if I'm doing so wrong, help me get out. So I need them anyway.

So, no, I never lost my faith. I lost a lot of things. I don't lost money before. I don't lost people. But I always hit on my faith. I ain't never, because That's all I got. You know? That's so good.

Have you ever like, how do you push, I know there's been dark moments in your journey and I don't have to go too deep. No, no, no, no. Go really deep. Okay. What are some of those dark moments and how did you like, with nobody else's watch and nobody sees Wayne, what are things that you do and how do you push yourself out of those dark places?

Man, I give it to God. Man, when I get a headache, I give up quick. I'm like, I'm dead, God help. I'm dead. I die, I don't try to fight through nothing. So I give it to God. So God daily. Like, during the pandemic, I was broke

because the pandemic hit. I had like a hundred grand, but I was about to go on tour, so I'm going to make that little seven hundred or a quick one, saying, but paying them a hit, we can't work. My bills were seven to grand a month. I got down to 13,000. Wow, wow, wow.

I was selling Nutri-Burst. I was about seven. I had to put the tea on. I had them on the link tree. If you could have, if you could have screen shot my link tree, you would have seen Nutri-Burst up there. I had got me on it. I had got me link tree. If you could have, if you could have screenshot my link tree, you would have seen Nutri Burst up there. I had got me a box truck off into Amazon and Rouse. I started there yesterday.

I got to try, yeah. But I was, that was a dark place because now I'm worried about my family, because I know I got faith. Yes, yes. I got faith. I wasn't worried. You were gonna be good, but they faith is in my money. So I'm like, you know, I so really I worked hard just for Ducca.

I got him, but that was a dark place. I'm like, now they can't worry so much. But I was kind of happy that they got to see that moment. Because now they can realize it was never my money. It was my faith while I got my money. But they didn't believe I, they thought I had money. I'm like, bro, I ain't got it. I had to show accounts.

Yeah. But that was a dark moment, man. But I remember the feeling. I'm like, here we go again. I did my head just like this. They went to counseling them so I did my head. I remember my head just like this. God went and counseled no show. I did my head. I remember my head did just like this. God, who go again? Yeah. My brother over there, he told me, say, we feel the sea if all this help is on the way to the real.

And it's a limit is was watching my stomach. I'm telling this. I know. So everybody watching me scream Jesus off. So so they wait on some some time. People wait on some bad happen to me because they were like, is he going to keep their joy? Yes. Celebrities So everybody watch me scream Jesus off so they wait on some time people wait on something bad It happened to me because they were like is he gonna keep that joy? Yes, it's a leverage We're watching my page and it's one guy who got a podcast He was like man the comedian is looking me up. Stop now. It's one of my scene trying to sell some tea You talk to me. I knew she bird But they were just wanting to see what I'm gonna do now. And I was grateful at that moment, because in that moment, what, again,

just like he did back in the day. He turned my life around to the point where I don't even need to answer to me. He gave me something that is so unique and so, for me, so, yo, in those dark moments, I just give it to him. Yeah. Well, I ain't leaving him.

I ain't leaving him. I don't give it, because he ain't going to embarrass you. No, you won't, no, at all. You know what I'm saying? I don't give a, because he ain't going in bad shape. No, you won't, you know, at all. You know what I'm saying? I don't trust the world. Yeah, I remember during COVID, and that was a hard time for everybody. I was blessed enough to still be getting paid,

because I was on Tyler's payroll. So I was, even through that time, I was, I was, I didn't miss anything. That was nothing but the greatest thing. Oh hell, I never got it. Nothing but God. Yeah. No, was, I didn't miss anything. That was nothing but the grace of God. Oh hell, never got you. Nothing but God. Yeah. Oh no, I didn't will.

Yeah. Everything stopped. I should have been over here. I'm just so. I wasn't here yet with the townhouse, but I remember just, it was just even like the isolation and like, okay, what kind, anytime something like that happens, and I'm going through it again with the strike that's

happening right now, I always find a way to how can I come out of this better. You know this is the time that God has set me down. What can I do to hone in on different skills? And now I'm in the position, I feel like I'm in my own pandemic with the strike because we're not working and acting with my bread and butter. I got two shows and that was like I'm good, like I can just enjoy, work literally work up one month out of the year. In this I booked something else. For those two shows it could be sheet really fast and then I had the rest of the year just enjoy my life. So now that we're not working we had just worked in March or April for

sisters and then I was like I was supposed to be working right now for the team which is my big check. So I'm like oh good you good. You know, I'm thinking I'm good. And now it's like, we don't know when we're going back to work. So it comes in like budgeting. And like yourself, like overhead is like 50k over. You know what I'm saying? For everything. And it's like, cool.

OK. Everything you see, like my account is like, all right, we can, what you can do, we can live off of this for a half or long, but you have to stick this budget. So now, DeNor and and I are working on other things. And it's just this pandemic that we're going through right now, what we call it. The strike is forcing me to look at other streams

and things I'm passionate about and things that I love. So it's like a restructure of phase all over again. I think a lot of people, some of the people are asking about that other day, I was like, what does this thing is going to do for actors? I think a lot of actors, somebody asked me about that other day. I was like, what do you think is going to do for actors? I think a lot of actors are going to be more creative and business savvy after this. Absolutely.

Because it's going to force them to, because that's what it did for me, man. I would have never, if I would have had a bunch of money put up, I would have never built this, because sometimes people got to know that song William Murphy got, it's working, and it's your season. When you know you got them, everything they go bad

is in your favor. So you got to just soak that in black. No matter how, and it get ugly because the devil, he sent tests. God don't test nobody. See people don't know that. The devil, the only one that sent tests. Wow.

You know, he sent tests, but as long as people hold on to that faith, and I know that sign like Grum on them, and be like, all here, everybody being said that, but what that faith in him, every time. And that's what it is. I think that's what it's going to take. You know, that's what's happening now, because the way they shut out of the industry, I was like, hold up, bro, I understand they try and get momentum, but they're gonna get people so money because I know it's the union, we need, but it's a crazy time. that faith, you know what I'm saying? But that faith is going to get everybody through everything. Yeah, no, absolutely, no, for real. You also talk about living in your truth. You can say, don't hide from where you came from, celebrate it, this is what makes you original. And a lot of people from the streets shy away from talking about their love for God

and fear of making them look soft. We talked about, you talk about it on social media all the time, but you're like, Jesus has been popping. That's why I love that, she was like, a man who does not mind screaming from the mountain top. Have you ever had people like, I know you said in the Dundepend, and people like, we just, they're looking to see,

like, if you're gonna lose your joy. Have you had people come to you recently or doing your journey saying, why are you always screaming about Jesus? That's the question I get. Really? That's the question I get. Really? That's the question I get the most.

But now, I used to talk about it online. But God told me to hush. And now as they see my life going up, they don't need to question them all. They started to believe. Yeah. Because the way my career been, it's been a different ride. And I went on Good Morning America.

And I remember, you know, because you can't. For real, they don't let you say Jesus in these places. It's just like and I went on Good Morning America and I remember you know because you can't for real they don't let you say Jesus in these places it's just bad for business we're not against it but I went on Good Morning America the first thing they did was zoom in on my chain my purpose was looking like wow because she couldn't believe because they were kind of like you know we you know how they are about it but I do, yeah. But what I learned, it's people out there even in them evil places, that real pimp, they just not bold enough to say his name. Yes, yes, oh, absolute. What I learned, people who say his name,

strong, it's people out there that are really in that industry, but I got some people out there in my favor that be pushing for me like. And it's like, but people, that's the question they give me. That Jesus thing, everybody wanna know, could everybody deep down know I've grown my total of that. And we got, people don't got a way from it. And it's like,

That's the universe. Yeah, now the universe, man, I hate people come to my, when you're birthday, oh, it's attitude. Well, what happened to that Leo, you ain't no, you gon' break your heart? I'd be like, man, come on, man. I'm not, they be everybody. People don't know how to put the batteries right in their mouth.

But I was up there to know about the store. Yeah. All right, bro, come on, man. We just the same thing, Grumma and them talked about. Yeah. He been around that long for a reason. He has. As an idiot, our industry is very, very funny about that.

I love it when people get on stage at award shows and say, thank you Jesus. Thank you. You understand that you're not just thank you God, because there's so many guys in this world, you know? Exactly. Like, there's different guys, but there's only one Jesus. There's only one Jesus, but.

And people skip, but if you pay attention, the people I've seen really stand on it Industry can't stop them. It's a dude in Marvel Chris press. I love him. Yeah, they'll be them and then like I told him I say I seen them going in one day because deep down That's what only thing they said I had seen a guy say he said man the devil is not scared of your good deeds Only thing he fear is Jesus' name. That's why they trying to shut it up. They trying to shut it, because it's power.

It's power just in that man name. If Siri got this much power, and I could say, a Siri, what's Martin Luther King birthday? And she answered, imagine how much more power with Jesus. God, I've seen it. And I've used it. I used, he taught me, he taught me,

called, because some of this stuff, he be like, you know what I'm saying? Some of this stuff, oh, we got to get it wrong. Siri. Siri. Siri. See, yeah, he tried it. He just tried it.

Yeah. He's like, we're gonna stop this right now. But Jesus reacts fast in the Siri man. And it just, it just got people can't see. I know for me, bro. It didn't help. I met Chris Pratt when I was going to. When John Gray had his church here in Atlanta,

and he was filming something, and he came to the back and told us a story about when he was running one day, here in Atlanta, through the woods. And just really heavy. It was a heavy day for him, and I just need to go for a run. So he goes for a run and he sees his random bench in the woods. And he was like, why is this bench there?

And something just says sit down. And as he sat down, he looked down. And he knows like a stone on the ground. And he moved the leaves. And it said, be still and know that I'm God. And he was like, wow. Like God found me as I'm running. You know what I'm saying? I'm trying to clear my mind and set me down. And I saw that and I was like, wow, like it's funny. Is that something you struggle with at all?

No, because see, I know women for real. See, most men do that because they think women, they perceive through hip hop, they think women like, but they don't know what women like, or sometimes women don't know what they like. Everybody like, everybody like one thing, but everybody love another. And I learned, man, you know,

people love you for the U to be you. So wherever you are, and they know about it, we weren't born, thousand killers. That's true. You know what I'm saying? Even when I was in street, I ain't never have no gun. I got me some money, and you know, I love a pretty woman, for I'm playing period Even when I was in street, I ain't never had no gun. for my playing period. But I ain't struggling with that hard stuff, because I know me and I know I fight for real life. So I ain't even walking around all day proving it. But everybody from touch me. But I get touched back so, no, man, that street life was something that I was born in. If I was born another way, I would have did it another way.

But that ain't nothing I was wanting to even glorify. That's why I don't even talk about it like that. They had to make me write that book. Wow. I didn't even want to talk about it. You're not talking about it. I was like, man, I don't made it all. And that stuff just happened.

A lot of that stuff in that book. Wow. We wrote that book 2021. I just got a street, I said, I was 16, but they got lawyers involved. And I said, you sure? I was recording them on the phone with everything. But I was on the phone with them. I was messing with cool.

Whatever I'm not, I can't get in trouble. But no, that tough guy persona, if guys knew what women, they really paid attention to women. They'll learn how to be, but they think women, because women go through a stage where they think that's what they want. You are so right. I went through that. I love my mom always say you like them really nice and sweet but rough on the edges.

I wanted a little, I need something like a little,. Then when y'all leaving for the Godhead, they're like, you know, but you gotta be a mixture. Solomon said in the Bible, he can't be too holy. He can't be too wicked. Now I tell people, I said, man, he say, stay somewhere in the middle. I say, so I ain't Kurt Franklin, but ain't a little booze either.

You also talked about don't get mad, get money, get money, ignore people who want to tear you down and provide the ones who love you.

How have you navigated changing your friendships as you've succeeded when it comes with like? Yeah, somebody ain't really trying to get no money. We better be talking about something. Is that friends' relationship? Like, what's your significant with your woman, too? Well, what way have you gotten on woman? I know, but like, if you had one, like,

Because I'm a love me, so when I give my all, I ain't no been a relationship with a woman wasn't happy. She always had it. Because I'm a love me so wherever I give all. I just never cared so I held up where people don't like me or mad about something I move up. They wasting their time cuz. Yeah that's good and you'll go far with that too because a lot of times I know as a woman in the industry, I have got caught up in that, like what people think and how I'm perceived.

And I feel like I'm in the most free space of my life where I don't care anymore. And I'm allowing people to just see crystal. You know, I used to try to hide certain things or I always say, I'm giving so much of my life through acting. I just want to have everything else be private but like nobody knows why I'm not sharing the blessings I'm not like allowing people to see all that God. You gotta let me see you girl.

And when I was still costumeing, before I ever became a costume designer, even started styling Tyler, he called me one day.

He said, I don't know why I got put on my heart during Bible study, but he told me to tell you this. And I was like, what do you tell you? He told me to tell you that your living is in your giving. And I was like, OK, he's like, just remember that. And I was like, what do you tell you? He's told me to tell you that your living is in your giving. And I was like, okay, he's like just remember that. And I was like, okay, I got it. So I've always been like a tire there. Like I always make sure I give God his and help people as I can. But as I began to sin and like, gain wealth, I was like, wow, like I knew exactly. He didn't even, he's like, Chris, I had no idea

why God put that, but he knew where you were going, and he knew where he was taking you, and he didn't want you to forget that. So I wanna tell you that as well, your living isn't you giving in you doing the right thing. I appreciate it, man. I ain't got no woman in my life to tell me I'm doing the right thing, that great thing. That crazy.

That crazy, that crazy, but. Oh my goodness, let's talk about women since we own the subject. You were our father of 10. How old did you end up with so many kids? I ain't pull up. Were these like relationships or were these just, were they one or two? My first baby mom was my high school sweetheart. So we was together for eighth grade all the way to like a year.

So we had three kids. OK, OK. Nah. I cheated on her one time. Got a girl pregnant. Just all through high school. My three kids in between hurt was women I dealt with one time. And because God did me like that because you know better.

You know better. 20 years I got pregnant man. I was like, oh my God. You know what I'm saying? So I was like, I'm a sick children. I don't know, you know what I'm saying? And then I'm, and then my ass. My ass, my ass wife, me and her, me and her had three.

Okay, I'm saying so. Are you married? Okay, how long you been? I'm for seven months. No. It's the way he said it. No, it was here. You're changed.

But I was with her for 10 years. What? Wait, wait, wait. Together with her for 10 years. Yep. Mary. Yep. Mary for seven months to a year, roughly.

It was a year. Okay, a year. Yeah, for sure. What happened? Was it just like a... No, I... Now, Mary heard because, like, first of all, we had got custody of one of my daughters. I had to go to court for her.

So, they had just started doing the tour and thing. I'm like, man, I've been with this girl. Man, I sold dope custody of one of my daughters. I had to go to court for her. So they had just started doing the touring thing. I'm like, man, I been with this girl. And I sold dope out her projects, man. I'm like, man, I got, I'm from the Marriott brother of his life, cause I ain't studying he women, I'm gonna get it money. I got it interesting. I tell everybody about a lot of men,

focus on he women, because they never had them. See, I did have them. So my focus, hey, yeah. So I married her, come like, man, I'm from the Do This, I'm from married her, come like man, I'm feeling a do this. I'm feeling a shame, my family life, for real. So I married her, man. And then, you know, you're laid up, I like, no.

God hated to leave her behind. I ain't gonna leave her up my first day, mom, you know what I'm saying? But I found a way I could bring him up financially and be there for them. But I was at a hard decision. Yeah, a hard decision because you're like, you know, you leaving the women, we grew up together. So, like, I'm finna take all. But y'all ain't with it.

They wouldn't with it. Nah, they just don't. I'm different lane, man. I started growing fast. Like, I started wearing about my diet. I started, because, you know, I picked up that Bible while me was in the project. I was like, man, I picked her that Bible while me helping the project. I was like, man, I told her, you should've picked her up with it.

Because she asked me one day, she said, what you read? You ain't gonna share what you read, I said, man, you got to read the women, but I was growing so fast once I picked her that Bible, I was like growing a lot of stuff. So by the time I'm like, hey, man, I'm a changed person. That's so powerful. Because you can't scream his name too long without changing your character. Yeah.

And all. I, my character was changing. And I was like, damn, they can't. They had first chance. They had first chance. They had these. Now, dude, they, do they have, have they expressed any regret? Everyone I've been with regret. they ain't gonna find a way.

So the women were, the women, yeah, they regret it. And a lot of women I've dealt with, thank you still a chance, because I'm free. Like I really, I'm not a relationship for real. But, um, now do you lead them on to make, if they think they have a chance? I only play like that. You ain't play like that, okay. I don't play, I don't play with people.

I don't play no games. No, okay, you don't play the radio. I'm direct, but no, but no, they definitely regret it. But I'm petty like that. I made sure it was going to be good. I work hard to make people regret. Yeah. You just have better than time.

Oh my gosh. I'm competitive. So I work on myself to be. Mm-hmm. Yeah. To grow. Mm-hmm. Like I put in my book, man, stay up.

between business and, cause you're always, I feel like you're always working and creating something. How do you like manage, even to be here today, how do you manage time for your children and your business? Well, I had to, I had to retire a lot of people.

Like my dad and he, I retire him. So he'd take my son to basketball ball practice. He handled them. Like, he took the kid. The girls wanting to go to Beyonce concert. He put him in the sprunner, took him in the baby mommas. And so basically, I had to kind of like build a village around my kid. And they all helped me.

And I just make my, God made a way with my schedule. I could throw my career so much like I shut something down. Like there's something I shut the whole, something that I told the man, where? And I ain't even know the strike would come. Right. Like that. I knew the right strike, but I'm like, this would be open.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But then the abstract came. I was like, oh, yeah. Yeah, this is different. So I just, I put them first and I feel like whatever you put, first God will make a way for you to, for is different. So I just, I put them first, and I feel like whatever you put first, God, make a way for you to, for the balance, if you put the right thing for you. I love that.

Speaking of parenthood, you recently did a post about, we talked about forgiving parents. What did you actually forgive your dad for? Like, he wasn't there, you know, the times of need, and he had it. He was in the street hustling and had money, but he won't really bless my mama unless they was on good terms.

And so it was on the conditions. And on condition. On condition of love, yeah, that's different here. So I went through things that I didn't have to go through if he would just brought up some money right now. So I'm like, he wasn't there when he could have been. Right. And so I forgive him for that though. Did that help you see what he did and where he went wrong

be the father that you are today? Yeah. Though I take him up every moments because at the end of the day that's a hard job. And I learned that it set me free from me trying to control their life. The kids they do, even though they do got a man, I still gotta pay them bills. Yes. I can't let the kids sit outside, cause your mama, whatever your mama doing, whoever they talking to, they gotta do it. The decision we made together had a child.

So it helped me understand that, cause I know if that household ain't right. Mm-hmm. It's not good for the kids for sure. Yeah. Do your kids live with you, or do they live out with their, well my son lived with me, taking my little knee, but all the kids for sure. Yeah. they all got rooms and they'll be there. They'd be with their mom. But they got a room there. And their mom would stay five or 10 minutes away, but it really just be near Taymour. Okay. Come on, other sons just went to college. Got you.

What were the steps that led you to saying, I need to forgive my dad? Man, I just don't like a waste time. I ain't holding nothing in. Good, that was yesterday. Was, how was that conversation? Like was it hard? Cause I know sometimes parents,

our generation is really big on like mental health and not wasting time and we know the importance of certain things where our parents may kind of be stuck in their ways. Is your dad one of people are kind of like seconds ways with it hard to even get through to him? Yeah it was hard to get through to him but the thing was when you believe in yourself and you look at yourself a lot you see that they were the thing so it's a chain that we know we're coming out of slavery right now. Yeah you feel them saying so what we expect our parents to do?

Yeah. It's be real. You, you're right. I, I say the same thing. I was telling my dad this recently. I said, you know, I think about the generational curses and how like our parents just repeat what they say. And you think about our grandparents who were the children of slaves, you know, like, or you're not as old as I am,

but. I'm older than you in spirit. If you are, you are, you literally are, yeah. I will give you that, you know, so, yeah. But our parents, like, it's like, we're not that far, like we just getting out of that, you know? And we're the ones that are starting to break the cycles of those patterns.

That's so true. I literally just talked to my dad about that. So we just getting out of slavery. So we respect not our parents. We be like, mama didn't do this, mama didn't listen to him, man. My dad, my mom, my dad, they ain't taking my helps and throwing it to them, got their women and having them babies. I could have made that decision, I do that.

So when you believe in yourself, I got two kids that believe in themselves, and they never reflect, they promise on their parents. Sometimes some of my kids, I get mad, come and they go through stuff, they make their mama feel like, I just feel like, I'm like, what's my two kids that believe in themselves?

They internalize and they work on something. Wow. They don't take it and throw it on the pairs. And I was always that child. A deep down man kid was like, mm-hmm. People would be like, I mean, one time being bad in school, my mom and them about to beat me. They're like, what's been your process?

My Uncle Chuck, come on, Uncle Chuck, that guy, man. Yeah, that guy to you, my one student, that man. But I do this something deep, see if for them to feel safe for me. I was like, my Uncle Chuck, they were like, she was like, what's wrong with her? She was like, I know her. I think she had a bill out there,

they built and put it on. Yeah. She said, what about, he become a see me at night? She said, what do you say, I like her. She said, what did he say? I was like, oh, shh. He. He. He. So I know how kids and people are, man.

They be other stuff, though. I was like, if you come and heal, and you sell somebody, they would be like, it's because you said it is no. It's whatever happened before that. They happen to happen to happen. You just happen to be the one that, they get over the gut during talk.

So people know deep down, but people be having all that. I like, man, people just ain't real. So I don't deal with a lot of that stuff. Come in, if people don't want to hear the real, they only talk. I mean, people be going through other stuff. And most time, it's relationships. Somebody that isn't going through something like,

bruh, nobody's gonna be able to have the power and your life that texts you on the phone. It changed your day. But you to call somebody to talk an hour about that. That means that we're not letting God be in the count of nothing about energy. Because we let God be the count of our energy. He gonna know how much to put in that and then when they do happen, they ain't gonna affect you at all. So my mom and dad are life.

I wasn't that tired into them. Because the reason why everybody's heart was hurt, my other siblings, because you had too much faith in your mom and your daddy. There's only God, and as a child, we have time to learn that. But do it all, it's kids, like do we know that? Oh no, my family's gone, they was drinking the smoke,

so I guess I was one of the kids grew up that. Yeah. But they have an option. They have an option. My kids see me read that Bible, they friend see me read it. So somehow in our life. Yeah. You're giving them a different example though.

God, we don't see this. Oh no. Like you say, I can't say that because my sister's, I think Trump children judge their parents. Because my whole family did drugs. And my aunt T Wanda, she like she my cousin cousin but she my home, my mom was like this friend and she always told us never try weed because it was a gateway drug. But my sister, my family always judged them.

Like y'all just a bunch of weed get different but what happened is they told us never try alcohol weed. They tried it so now they fight and not be alcohol. So instead of calling yourself alcohol the longer they keep them some money and have a party we just have to get no you hit you too you judge until you were functioned alcoholic but I didn't judge them so I was like that that's gonna get me if I get in that that's gonna get me so I stay out of it I'm not wanting them people who take on better than something but when you don't judge your parents, I knew I said, man, that cocaine can get me too.

If I ever try cocaine, it's gonna get me. If I ever, good, good, good, good, good, good, good. You got me. You said good. I said good. 10 kids late. Sometimes, I see how my dad had something to say. But, that mean brothers and sisters, do you have your yellow kid?

My dad had got nine, eight kids. My mom had three, so I was the oldest on my daddy side. And the youngest on my mom's side got two older sisters. I just ain't never, my mom, I come on my mom with doing cocaine one day. And I say, my mom, so the next morning I said, why you put that white stuff up of your nose? I was so real as a child. The one thing I appreciate about this woman, she didn't give me, do you see that?

You mean this and that? This and that? I tell everybody, man, my mom was proud. It allowed me to be real. And she said, son, I just like the way it made me feel. My sister-in-law would have been like, you know what I'm saying? It's like, man, you know, when you look at life,

when you be still and look at life for what it really is, you could be real and make real judgments. Like, man, come on, man. So, you know, it just, you look at life for what it really is and stuff for how you want to look. That's real.

You recently said, on our different Beasts Monday Megan's podcast, not for sure podcast, you said that she believed that the only way to properly love a woman is to give her what God was for her. Give her what God wanted. Can you, that really mean to her like, okay, we've never really heard a man say that. The way you wrote that down, can you break that down for me? You got to give her what God wanted and what that is.

She gonna complain the whole time. My ex wife, she could play in the whole time and she's happier now as a person. Cause I never comply to the world. When I was in the street selling dope, she wanted us to be the lit couple. But I knew that one good for her. It's certain things she wanted. But now she's a great mother and everything.

Like, because in the end, that's what they gonna look. The one who kept it real with them. Me mean she wants to be lit, what does that mean? Like certain things I wasn't doing in the street. We ain't taking no trips, I'm on the dope, but in post no pictures I'm living the wrong life. God gonna be like oh so you trying to get out but you out here showing that. So it's just like that would have made her so happy.

If I would have took on one trip, I would have said in drools. That would have made her so happy. There was a lot of things to do with it. She wouldn't take, what if you just took her on 7 days in taking pictures? I'm selling drugs. So that ain't fair. If I'm telling God I want to get out, that's throwing in the God face. If I was legit, okay now, I'm taking trips.

But it was a lot of things that would have made her happy in the moment, but she would have been with her friends at right now. You know what I'm saying? So a woman, it's like a child. You know what I'm saying? We got to give people, it ain't even a woman, just people.

But a woman, if you give her, what God wants for her, her soul, don't love you, even with her flesh mad at you. See what happens is a lot of women flesh like a man, but they soul don't love you, even when her flesh mad at you. See, what happens is a lot of women flesh like a man, but they soul ain't feeling it. So that's why depression comes and ziity. But what happens is when your soul, when you talk to her soul instead of her flesh,

her flesh gonna be mad, but it's even gonna comply. It's time, it's just gonna complain in the daytime. And eventually when that flesh gets up, it's gonna be thank you, because in go playing in the daytime. Yeah. And eventually, when that flesh catch up, it's gonna be thanking you because in the end, she's gonna glow. Yeah. Her better days are in front of her, instead of behind her.

And a woman, when you give a woman that, and she give you her prayers. The name of my neffly specials of woman prayers, I'm up right now because even when the women I dealt with, deal with other men, they prayers that would meet. Because every woman has a spiritual vagina. And that spiritual vagina is a virgin. That's why Mary is still a virgin because they think this is a vagina. That could man be so happy about it.

Yeah, I got that. The reason why it's so accessible because obviously it's not, it's so low in frequency. That spiritual vagina and God is only going to let a man, a God touched that someone can die a virgin. Eat good food and live life. So once you get on that and once you get happy, now if y'all able to decide to get, the relationship is supposed to be the last thing. It's a holy matrimony. It's really your flesh and your spirit coming to agreements because they got a little with each other.

So you got to come and hold the matrimony with your selfish. Right now it's four people right here on this couch. My flesh, my spirit, your spirit. So once you become whole, then you talk to that person soul, and that soul, you want to tell her to get her flesh back in line. And now, when you finally get to that moment, that's my way now, for a woman to get to that moment

so we could be whole together. But that's what it is. And it's hard for do that because most men want to stay in good kohogs to get where they want. They're gonna say, and when they do say something triggering, it's malicious. It's the timing. They ain't really like, my baby mama. But when I told that man, I knew my intentions were for her.

When I met her, I said, oh, I'll make sure this girl's straight. Even if we don't end up together, she got something in her. I went over there, we talked, we found a tall, full of men and come on. I finally got that Gucci. I played like the cool guy. I bought some weed and everything. See, the double at like a guy, sometimes garbage, you're like, he'll double to get your attention. Cause you know that's what they like.

I bought a weed, I bought her a friend weed. Like, yeah, I'm acting like man, soon I got that koo-che and I know I put that thing up. And there's more and I was like, eight, we gotta watch these dishes and stuff now. She was like, what? Cause I switched. I act like I was the turn up guy.

Like, you supposed to do it sometime. The soft life, we were talking about. Yeah, you don't want to do that, because you want to keep your money, because one of you got money. And she keep on money, and she feel good every day, no matter what. A woman cannot handle seeing money going out her cashm-

Ah, yeah. She turned, yeah. I tell you, most men, you can't even get a woman attention so you take care of her life. Cut a parent. She have a way of talking to you. It's this person, but it's this person.

And the back of my eyes, she's thinking about where she got the baby as much. So she's there, but she's never really there. If you go and just figure out a way, don't even tell her. Just pay it all, send a check every month, guarantee you know, and then this ain't for nothing. You got to give me nothing. But this goes $15,000 a month.

We can sell a contract for five years. And first you're like, you even trying to be like that? You're like, yeah, yeah. Then you got her teeth and so what? So what was you saying about all that stuff that you like my eyes? She don't hear all that. Yeah. But Warwick can't handle money coming out there to count.

My daughter's, bro, I get them allowance every month, I get a $2,000, my daughter every month, my little, you're giving them much, she have shades on them, when she give a check. Oh my gosh. Every month right after the 14th, she'd be depressed. I'm like, what's wrong with it? I said, it's that money.

They be broke by the other half of the month. I see they depression and I be laughing so hard, but women cannot handle money going out. It's not good for they psych. That's something when a woman see that money, they want to turn their car, I'm like, what is this? Right. Right.

And I'm not ordered, but they can't start ordering stuff. So man, I be telling women, every woman I know, I know some women in the industry, bro. I know some comedians, I know some women who don't spit their own money. And they is the press right now that I feel soft, bro. They still got money, but I'm pray for them because they tried that.

And I'm like, y'all ain't. A man built for certain thing and one built for certain thing. See, a man go down, you know, but a woman that ain't good for her men for her, even if she do bounce back, she don't allow some of her health on the way to that, John. So I'd be like, man, only, that's why I take that prince off my big mother, because even now, because they don't got no big stares, I take care of him, but I have to get him a stash, because I can see it on them, they walk different.

I was like, what the hell, I don't want to. They look dark, as soon as they money hit their account, I promise you. It's the light, they come. They speak different. They bones move different. Yeah. They weave him a glow and they connect. That's weak.

So how do we, they met. One more case, been a home one all the time. It's the print, they can't take it. So when we were talking, you said something about, you went to this woman, the girl that you went to, and you brought the weed for the friends, and then you got the coach, and the next morning you go, you know,

you got to watch some dishes. So when we talk about dishes, we all, in society, we talk about gender roles. Are there things that you feel like a woman has to do in the household and that is some things are just for a man to do? No, you know, it's different situations. You know what I'm saying? That woman working that man they be watching this, you know what I'm saying?

You got to work with each other so it ain't no set. It ain't no set life. It just that for a set kind of person. Like some women go make sure they ain't playing that. You gotta help take care of me. And cause I'ma do this. So me, I just stay the journey. I won the whole time. So if I won the whole time, at this point, we ain't got to clean up, because we'll pay. Somebody else do it.

But at that point, we couldn't play no made. Right, okay. So who gonna watch these dishes? Now I watch them. Yeah. I'm cool, I watch them. But you know, when I go to Kisha, I don't say that. I don't say that.

So it's like, in each situation. I got a Kisha else. I think in general, they know what a man got to do, what a woman got to do, man. Cause in the day when it's time to fight, when y'all fighting life together, y'all just got to look out for each other, man. If you tired, I got to do this,

Well, it'll be honest. And this is going to sound cliche. I'm looking for a woman who really believed in God for real. And not the world. Because I never had a woman cheat on me with a man, for the other I know, but I had a cheat on me with the world. So I just want a woman who really believe in God, for real, for real. That crazy fate, because if she believed in that, everything else comes from order anyway.

I don't need no woman who can clean up, even though I love it, won't clean one. Because we could pay somebody to that. I don't need no woman who makes a money, we get somebody. I don't care what it is. But if you just believe, you could come as you are, because that's gonna work in order. We gonna live in our own world and people gonna pay attention to us.

It's like why they so have, don't be picking stuff out from the world, bringing the back home, cause he told us not to eat the apple. But we still on the apple, with the apple on the back. They don't, still in the tree, picking up everything and bringing the back home.

So I'm a read letter. It's called Positive Outcomes. And this young lady says, Hi, Chris. So I'm a 44-year-old woman who just ended a six-month relationship with a 39-year-old man who I've actually known for years. We finally decided to link up one day and had great conversations about life and past relationships. Come to find out, he made all the qualities

that I was looking for in a man, the only problem was he was broke and jobless. I stayed in it for six months and fell in love with the potential of him becoming the man that I wanted him to be. They got ugly within the six months. I knew that it was God releasing him from me. I experienced a great deal of trauma in the past three years and actually felt secure in the moment for all the wrong reasons. Although we don't talk and everything is still fresh, he still talks to my sister, who was in a relationship with one of his family members,

as if he and I never happened. I keep trying to figure out what is it about me that he's following from in, who don't meet my requirements when it comes to job, money, and faith. I work two full-time jobs, and I take care of myself and my children. I will continue to have faith that my equal is on the way. Can you please give me some advice to strengthen myself

confidence and put boundaries between my ex and I who I still love with friendship? What's that last part she said? The very very, which one? Oh, look. She said, can you please give me some advice? This one she strengthened myself. Confidence and put boundaries.

That's the answer. She got the answer right there. She's just need to work on her. You can't work on nobody else. You can't change me. You can't change the people that come to your life. The devil gonna send them. And you just got to change.

Life is life from kindergarten to a grade. People think it's from 12 grade to kindergarten. The lesson gets harder. You go from one plus one to? Nah, ain't gonna lie, cause what it is, sometimes a broke man got the best D. So it's hard to leave him alone. Yeah. Cause they gonna, they focus on that. Like the lazy woman got the best,

the broke man got the best. The lazy woman, what? I want, you come home, she just laying on that sofa for what? Ha ha ha ha ha ha. You got that bad about you, like, if you, like, what, that I'm lazy? You know how I work, but you're lazy. I'm lazy.

I don't have a balance. Well, you got that, you're like, Joe, come on, you can be everything else. Well, like, I hate to be on y'all day, but good luck. Okay, I would tell you definitely work on yourself, do some self-work, do therapy, because it sounds like you've been through some things. You said you had trauma from past relationships in the past three years.

I would work on yourself before we're hopping into a relationship. I do know that it is hard to deal with someone who is still friends with your family and still be kind of lingering, it is hard to deal with someone who is still friends with your family and still be kind of lingering. It's hard to get over somebody when they're still so close. Like, you know, it's like, dang, can you just, can I have my people, you know what I'm saying, can you just go on so that I can have my life back and not think about your constantly have to hear about what's going on with you. So I know that's hard

as well. But you can't control the fact that your sister's in a relationship with one of his family members. I would just do my best to just let your sister know, hey, I don't wanna hear anything about him. I'm trying to get over it, even though you love him, but I think what countrymen says, right, you have to start with yourself.

That's real. Yeah. Yeah. All right, so we do something called what I'm going through and what I'm growing through. Is there anything that you're going through and growing through him? Going through. Mm-hmm. In life.
