Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, everybody, Dan here. I just wanted to slide in real quick before we start this episode and give you a Warning a fair warning to one and all The content that we're going to be going over today drifts pretty deeply into stuff that would I rightfully be called offensive to most people Some of the content that we end up covering is very homophobic even to a violent extent and if that is something that you have No tolerance for I totally understand and I would advise maybe this is not the episode for you. That said Let's jump in and here is the episode
Starting point is 00:00:39 Andy and chance us. You're on the earth. Thanks for holding Everybody welcome back to knowledge fight. I'm Dan I'm George a couple dudes like sit around drink novelty beverages and talk a little bit about Alex Joe and indeed we are Dan Jordan Dan. Hey, I realized that I forgot to ask you this question on our last. Oh, that's exciting What's your favorite Nicholas Cage movie my favorite Nicholas Cage if you say knowing I'm gonna punch you Well knowing is up there because of that moment like what did we talked about in the last episode like that like being in the Theater and laughing that hard was Transformative. Yeah. Now. I don't know. I don't know what to I don't know what kind of answer to give because there's good movies
Starting point is 00:01:19 That he's done like adaptations really good. It's amazing. You could say that you could or I mean port of call New Orleans bad lieutenant. Yeah, great. It's a great movie. They're so different in terms of his performances I don't know wicker man's great, too If you want to laugh at it. Yeah, like there's so much he has such range of movies that I can't choose one That's my favorite, but I'll probably say the family man It's a close tie between the family man and matchstick men I have not seen that one in a long time those came out when I worked at a theater
Starting point is 00:02:03 So I saw those those are not that although I like to you Leonie I would not say that the family man is one of my favorite love to a Leonie. Yeah She was great and bad boys and what was that show that she had the truth about sex or something like that? Wasn't the name of it. I don't know there's some NBC show that she was on that was really great And I can't remember the name of it was anyway She was in you kill me which is a great or it's not a great movie, but she was married to David de Covney really Oh, yeah, she was they got a divorce because he's a sex addict. Sure. Why not? Am I just thinking of californication? I don't know. It's the same thing. Anyway, are you thinking of the red shoe diary?
Starting point is 00:02:38 This is a show where I don't know much about the personal life of David de Covney I do know a lot about Alex Jones, and I know nothing about either of those and today. It's wacky Wednesday, so it doesn't matter We're not talking about Alex Jones. Hey, we kind of are a tiny bit But we'll get into that here in a second before we get into the show proper I'd like to take a moment here to say thank you to a couple people who have signed up and are helping support the show And we appreciate it. Oh so very much. So first I'd like to say thank you so much Kerry. You are now a policy wonk I'm a policy wonk Thank you. Thank you very much Kerry, and it could not be more apropos of this episode
Starting point is 00:03:14 It is not Kerry Cassidy. It's spelled differently and oh god, dude. I'll tell you in a minute Okay, so also like to say thank you so much to Beth. You are now a policy wonk. I'm a policy wonk Thank you, Beth. Thank you very much, Beth. If you'd like to support the show become a policy wonk You can do so by going to our website. It's knowledge fight comm. There's a button there to support the show click that button Help us out to keep on the lights as they say on other podcasts. Anyway, I've heard it anyway The reason that Kerry Cassidy triggered something in my brain is because Someone posted on our Facebook group go home and tell your mother you're brilliant a link to Kerry Cassidy's true TV pilot
Starting point is 00:03:53 That she made with Project Camelot. I didn't realize that that was publicly available. Oh, I knew that she had made a show But man next documentary. No, I don't think I don't think we can go over it It's too. It's really poorly made But it was really awesome because I've been looking for a really long time for the connection between project Camelot And this guy named Andrew Bozzi Ago He's a particular crazy that I'm really into okay, so I Swore that I'd seen a project Camelot episode where they interviewed Bozzi Ago, but I can't find it
Starting point is 00:04:28 It's not if they did it's not online anymore, but he appears in their true TV pilot Oh, so that's the sort of interest anyway Andrew Bozzi Ago claims that he's gone It was a part of the secret program when he was a kid that he teleported to the to Mars twice Okay, which is not the most extreme thing. He also went with Barack Obama Oh, that's nice him and Barack Obama were kids and they went to the Mars Most people never even get to meet the president let alone travel to Mars in a teleporter with it's crazy That's awesome. Also, Andrew Bozzi Ago says that he's a half dolphin warrior and can breathe underwater. Okay. All right
Starting point is 00:05:03 That one's that one's I guess more impressive than meeting the president He has a lot going on and he's someone who I'd really like to cover But he isn't I can't find the episode of project Camelot, but I was watching that pilot like Bozzi Ago. I love it It's so crazy Anyway, yeah Jordan today is not a project Camelot episode. Okay, it is wacky Wednesday So we're drifting off course But as we're now on the other side of the Obama deception one of the things that I really want to do is I want to open up The Wednesday episode a lot more. We've done a lot of Jim Baker. We've done a lot of project Camelot
Starting point is 00:05:38 We've tried to dip our toes in other places It hasn't really worked all that well generally speaking because a lot of shows aren't the same vibe And I've done I did I watched so many bad shows to prepare for this I watched so many shows that I'm like nah, it's not right two guys a girl in a pizza place. I love that show. It's really good Ryan Reynolds Trailer Howard Awesome huge crush on trailer Howard is a child. I believe that made me watch Monk anyway, um, I
Starting point is 00:06:13 Went down a lot of roads one of them was this show called radical agenda with Chris Cantwell He's the Nazi who was featured in that vice documentary at Charlottesville who then started crying a whole bunch when he had to go to jail Okay, I listened to his show because he he's an outright Nazi and I was like well, he says he's not a Nazi But who gives a shit? Yeah. Yeah. He's a white nationalist for sure. He takes that moniker I was like, well, it'd probably be easy to find a lot of similarities with Alex in this and sure enough There are he has one episode where he talks about how libertarianism is the gateway to white supremacy. I'm like bingo Called that one. Yep. He has an episode where he interviews Simon Roche who Alex has had on a bunch He's the sweet launder who uh, what's the pedal white genocide narratives like this. It's just a bad show though
Starting point is 00:07:00 It's not it's not good. He's not running a con and he wears his white supremacy on his sleeve So it's it's kind of a situation where like we're gonna listen to him like you're a white supreme. Yep, you bet I am yeah, yeah That is that is kind of an immunizing yourself against our particular form of a take down Yeah, so it's it didn't do it for me and I don't know what how to cover it We may revisit it at some point There's a whole bunch of shows that I listened to that were busts and so I I thought about it I'm like well what another good use of this time would be to explore some of Alex's guests that we haven't explored
Starting point is 00:07:36 Or maybe we've touched on a little bit and give me a chance to deal with some of my favorite crazies Okay, so everyone knows my favorite crazy is Daryl Hammamoto right because he is a guy who is a legitimate professor He was doing some real important research in the desexualization of Asian American men in our culture and then lost his mind and now talks about how his pink guitar is gay and The Illuminati is in charge of all schools and Linda Catehi the president of UC Davis has a bunch of mind control antennas I love the guy. I still think that's true. He's so crazy. He's great We're not gonna be talking about him today
Starting point is 00:08:15 We are going to be talking about my second favorite crazy and that is someone who we've experienced on Alex Jones's show before It is Reverend James David Manning. Oh shit the crazy. Oh Somebody sent me a bucket of poop today damn exactly that is where that drop comes from from Reverend Manning He is someone who has been a guest on Alex Jones's show since at least 2010 up till Trump's election and then Then Manning turned on Trump. Yeah, and now says he's gonna bring in the tribulation and call some tribulation Trump And so now he's not welcome back on Alex's show of course But for that six years he was a guest who had come on on a fairly regular basis beyond that He's also appeared on Michael Savage's show. He has been on Gavin McGinnis's show. I found an episode of that
Starting point is 00:09:02 It's not great. That's not good in it. They talk about how Trump is kind of like a rapper because he's really rich It's not We won't be listening to any of that but I Feel like in the time that we've talked about Reverend Manning We haven't really dealt with how awful a person he is and in this episode I plan to Lay out for you and demonstrate
Starting point is 00:09:28 Exactly how crazy he is. Okay, and then it's going to turn really bad at the end. That sounds right So that sounds right for us. Here's an out-of-context drop from today's exploration of Reverend James David Manning I am now a 9-11 choo-vah This is it's funny both ways did he say I am not or I am now now. He said I am now a 9-11 He's announcing from the pulpit In church That is surreal that was actually in first Corinthians though Woo
Starting point is 00:10:15 So that should give you a little bit of a sense of I want to be in his congregation so bad That sounds like way more fun than most churches. Don't think you'd be welcome. Why don't like white people all that much Not not a fan. Yeah, but I think I've got but twist. He also hates black people. So yeah Reverend Manning is one of the most sort of Three tool player bigots. Yeah, he's he's triple threat. He hates everybody right and talk shit on everybody It's pretty pretty remarkable his ability to hate He is particularly a virulent homophobe and of course so we'll we'll deal with that, but Our first clip Jordan. Yes comes to us from
Starting point is 00:10:59 Speech he's doing and the reason that I chose to start with this one is On the Obama deception coverage You made the argument that the first two years of Obama's term were a linchpin in history Yes, you believe that and you're saying you're gonna write a doctoral thesis on it if you ever go back to school But did I say that I something like that? I remember so little from that day. You recommended someone study it Oh, okay. Yeah. Yeah, I'll tell you this. Yes, Reverend James David Daly has studied Well, then I retract my my ask here is what he has to say about the first two years of Obama's presidency The first two years of the Obama administration
Starting point is 00:11:38 He released the homosexual demons Stephen, you know just saying homosexual it's taking a chance because Silicon Valley can throw me off of YouTube simply for saying that God. I don't like that word Uh It says now but the first two years of the Obama administration He released the homosexual demons and they were saying again. They just came out of the woodward And then the first two years of Donald Trump he released a psychotic freaky perverted sex demons Don't know which is worse or which is better dad
Starting point is 00:12:20 I Love it. I love it this psychotic freaky sex demons psychotic freaky sex demons I imagine like it's a sex demon with a lampshade on its head and a bloody knife That's what I hear Psychotic wearing wearing the bottom half of a horse costume, you know where you're supposed to have two people But he's got the bottom half I don't know why lampshade on the head is like my go-to for freaky. I like it Yeah, it comes from a very particular time in pop culture. I think
Starting point is 00:12:48 So, yeah, man sex demons He he does it. There's an interesting thing that he does point out for him Specifically is that when he says saying homosexual is bad Just like saying the the word homosexual is yeah, yeah, yeah for him in particular It's just like saying Jew and saying Jane you know like yeah for you It is bad, right, but he he's making the same argument Alex makes all the time. It's like that's a word They don't want people to use now. We're cool with it. I don't think I don't think anybody has a real problem of it I don't know so one could correct me if I'm wrong
Starting point is 00:13:24 But I don't I don't think I've ever run into anybody who's like homosexual is a as a term that like like the n-word or anything I'm assuming some people are Everybody's bad about it. People have quirks. Yeah So One of the other roads that I went down when I was trying to figure out what how we could expand wacky Wednesday Was I started listening to a bunch of Stefan Malinu? Yeah, you've been of course possessed by psychotic freaky sex demons Indeed, which led me to watch a guy stare into a camera and say stupid shit Vis-a-vis watching Stefan Malinu
Starting point is 00:13:59 Yeah, but as I was watching I started to remember how he likes to sue people who use his content even in sort of fair use Context yeah, and so I'm like, I don't want to fuck with this Yeah, we can never end up covering Stefan Malinu even if we're well within our rights to to cover it I still just don't want the headache, but I found that he is pretty obsessed with pop culture and I watched a pretty long video where he very poorly breaks down the show lost Also of particular import to you. Yeah, and I also founded up One where he is talking about how great inception is a lot of movie reviews on Stefan Malinu's page and that leads us to this next clip which is from Reverend Manning and
Starting point is 00:14:44 What I'm trying to get at is a lot of these guys love pop culture But they're really mad at it because it doesn't reflect what they want it to reflect right and so they They spend a lot of their time with these really high-minded things like Reverend Manning thinks he's saving the world with Jesus But also he needs to take time out of his day to curse Lena Dunham. Okay, I Want to do something here And in the place of Those of us stand to represent those of us who believe that this is this is worse than a bombable and
Starting point is 00:15:22 That this so what did you say? It's worse than a bombable a bombable on a bombable. Okay? I thought he I heard like Obama boon. He might he might I thought he was I thought he was referencing some sort of awful thing That's probably me. He's talking about when Lena Dunham hosted SNL. So yeah context and also wasn't great I couldn't find the raw footage of this So I had to take it from a YouTube video that put some music behind it. Okay, so that's why there's a little bit of alright There's some swelling. So I like it. Yeah, it does add to it Girls star Lena Dunham should not be allowed to get away with this and Saturday night live should not be allowed to get away with this and My response is as being led by the spirit of God
Starting point is 00:16:06 I love the music the music makes it the curses of the Old Testament to curse you with the diseases to curse you That to your organs that you displayed which should not have been displayed Such as your breast and your vagina would both be filled with a cancerous Whoa for showing them that the cancer would not just take you out but allow you to continue to walk and be Jesus the cancer in your breast and the cancer in your vagina would burn and you would never know any peace And no doctors or any peace offering any medication
Starting point is 00:16:46 To offer you any healing or comfort or relief. This is thorough. I curse you with that curse This is a thorough curse and to Saturday night live who? Allowing people to mock the word of God all the producers and all of your female Daughters Nieces really don't need to point them out specifically likewise. He's crazy curse under the same curse Not them particularly the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and I bind you Under the power of the authority that Almighty God has given in the earth to those that believe him
Starting point is 00:17:27 It will preach his gospel as he did to Peter there at Caesar you fill upon I curse and buying you there Saturday night live mocking the word of God and you shall see these curses and These cancers come upon all the women For the man. Oh, oh the men are getting cursed. I was I was I Mean, I guess I was worried that he was sexist Reverend Manning is a lot of things But in this boy in this case he's cursing everybody
Starting point is 00:18:02 Why everybody out this and have profited read the Bible may your organs be filled with Emeralds testicles become as rocks and Every time you walk People will know that you are cursed because they will hear the sounds of the rocks coming from between your legs as your testicles All the now rocks wait dudes are cursed with noisy balls No place that you can go women have cancers all over them But dudes have noisy balls some sort of a garment or instrument that would defend the sound of the rocks
Starting point is 00:18:39 as This is a thorough curse and everyone will know that you have participated in the mocking of God's word Okay, these lose sexual Statements out of how your own Devoutery to curse The beauty of God his creation and the man and wife relationship that God Almighty has put into the air Be you curse with emeralds and the sound of the rocks between your legs as you walk
Starting point is 00:19:12 I'm James David man Boy, I know a couple people who work at SNL their balls aren't rocks. Yeah. No. No, it was cursed did not work Hey, no, I mean, I don't know I haven't I haven't like leaned in close to listen to their balls So they may maybe his curse was like just a medium curse and it's like you have to be within a certain distance Right or something like that. It could be. Yeah, I don't know So that was long and I feel a little weird about playing that whole clip But I wanted to demonstrate like hey, man
Starting point is 00:19:52 You didn't like SNL and you spent that long Improving a curse and all that was not improv It that was well written in advance I don't think so I from the vibe that I get from listening to Reverend Manning. I think he's riffing. You think he's off the dome. Oh, yeah, okay I think he's just making shit up. He's really got it I mean he is in keeping with the Bible in that women have this horrifying terrible curse upon them and men are just like People when they see you they're gonna know you were a dick. Your balls are loud. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
Starting point is 00:20:25 Yeah, it's weird and I think that the pre the preoccupation with pop culture is something so weird in this world because it's very universal like yeah You manning is obsessed with cursing Lena Dunham You know, you got Alex Jones complains about the pop culture all the fucking time Stefan Malinu does all these fucking reviews on his show. It's everywhere all these because it's not theirs They don't control it. It's the like they feel it's completely run by the other side Someone like Chris Cantwell would obviously be like it's the Jews doing it. Mm-hmm other people are just like guys the Fabian socialists Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, so but with our boy manning. It's pretty much just women It is but he's also like so many of them are failed
Starting point is 00:21:09 Stand-ups to where it's like a Gavin. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah It's like all of them try because they don't understand or have any concept of humor or I mean, I guess he was in Hollywood She had a screenplay that didn't work out couldn't do it and also the pilot didn't work out Alex always talks about how they were gonna make him a big movie star Yeah, pretends he doesn't want it, but obviously he wanted of course So yeah, most of these people have failed show business in their past. Yeah, they take everything real personally It's kind of like their entire world is a person like what they're against is a personification of their own failure
Starting point is 00:21:45 Yeah, I mean how they're fighting ghosts and shit like that Yeah, pretty much and their need to blame their failure on every other person that's ever lived. Yeah. Yeah So on our last time what we talked about Reverend Manning. I believe he was on the New Year's Eve episode in 2015 I think that's the one we covered him on December 31st 2015 So you want to go back and listen to that you can hear a little more of this dickhole He was talking about how You know how Starbucks was putting semen in people's latte. Yes Yes, they did that to turn them gay right because gays have more fun and gays
Starting point is 00:22:19 Ingests and by ingesting semen you become gay. That's just that's just maybe maybe not that is unclear That's his conviction. Okay Yes, we do need to be fair But what you should know is there was some backlash from that and people blogged about how he's really dumb and saying that They put animal semen in the lattes right because it's gay gay agenda Reverend Manning does not back down from mockery He doubles down. Oh, of course And so here's what he has to say about people critiquing his claims
Starting point is 00:22:52 Seamen in line. Are we going line by line? I say do you go to hell? Hmm or let's go to court But I've got something I'm on Got Starbucks by the keysters They're noisy balls million people have heard my voice and have seen me or heard my writings and state misregarding Starbucks and and in semen in their latte, so That's my cell that I'm firing over the bow of the Starbucks Coffee enterprise, okay, and if you're drinking Starbucks
Starting point is 00:23:31 Watch out if you're a woman you might why it pregnant by drinking Starbucks Because I've got some pretty potent semen in that drink How do you know that go home and tell your husband you're pregnant. He said but we're brilliant sexual and of course in Years, that's a bad marriage. Well, did you get pregnant? Is it any some people just like the company dad? No, it was one of Starbucks lattes that impregnated you me. I'm James David Manning everybody I'm the Lord server Okay, all right now. That's not fair. That's not fair. What's not fair because now. I don't know if he's fucking with me
Starting point is 00:24:14 I think this is trolling. I think he's fucking with I think there's no way that he's not fucking no No, no, I think that there are a couple there are some instances of him trolling I think that's one of them because I don't think anybody is No matter how stupid you are you aren't gonna make the claim that drinking semen gets you pregnant like that You know this is something where he made this claim. I think he made the semen in the lattes comment seriously Yeah, like I think yeah, yeah, yeah, that was that was some of his homophobia coming out and shit like that But he got so much attention for it like the people were making fun of him on the young Turks All these blogs Huffington Post was writing about how this dumb dumb is saying to put semen in lattes
Starting point is 00:24:51 Right, right. So I think that this is him trolling trying to keep that attention. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah So I agree with you. There are a couple instances where it's like, yeah I mean, this is funny, but he is he's trying to be yeah when he's in on the joke. It's not it's not as fun It's not as satisfying, but at the same time, how do you not give a follow-up on the sea? Oh, yeah, that's great It's very important as a narrative. No, you got to do it. Yeah, absolutely. I I now Especially now that he's mentioned Lena Dunham. I immediately think of open Mike Eagles Lyrica I looked up what Lena Dunham said and I shouldn't have and now We need to somebody tweet it open Mike to update that to David Manning
Starting point is 00:25:31 There's a real interesting sort of overlap of like people who can't ally at all But it is a weird sort of similarity that most people on the left don't like it Lena Dunham that much either So it is it is it is a strange thing. So Jordan. Yeah, I told you this guy this manning guy What about it does not like white people? He's I'm fine with that. Also, we're in agreement there also Like I said does not like black people and in this next clip He is so awful to black people like in a way that is it's comical on one level But also like deeply deeply troubling and I believe that he's speaking from the pulpit again That's really not a good thing
Starting point is 00:26:13 But we got a problem Black people got a problem Now we can move the color blindness and always look at the man by the content of his character never the color of his skin I'm down for that. Are you? Yeah, it ain't me and I'm for that. Is this is this the I'm not a racist butt of churches we get them We need to hear some truth black people and white folk black people got a problem. I Don't want to know what it is. I don't want to know what it is when black people see the world You can train them you can train a black man to be a physician you can train in a biastrophysicist
Starting point is 00:26:51 You can train in I don't like that, but you can't train him to understand the world. He doesn't know telling you There's not to says what the difference between a mass murderer There's not too since the difference between a petty thief that's locked away in prison than a black doctor when it comes to understanding the world listen listen you listen to me I Have no idea what he's talking about That's nice, and we need to begin to acknowledge it talk about it
Starting point is 00:27:21 I ask God to help us because only God can help black people where they are Black people had Africa that big old continent over there. They never be all that was seaworthy not one That is not even close to true. There's not one monument in Africa Egypt is not Africa, okay What Not true coming to the shores of Africa or the slave ships black men built nothing No houses above one level and none of them made out of stone all of made out of grass and wood Why didn't you say mud?
Starting point is 00:28:11 They don't have mud in Africa. That's the first thing he learned in wherever he learned bullshit from so that's crazy That's crazy the some of the vocal flourishes are a little amusing like man That is some a historical bullshit like I'm gonna allow him the idea that Egypt isn't part of Africa I don't agree with him, but I'm gonna allow it for the sake of this beatdown. I'm about to deliver Okay, all right, so I was gonna say I was about to start bringing up historical examples But now that you got it in front of you hell Yeah, does he count Carthage because the Carthaginian Empire was a very legit naval power back in the day boasting a fleet of at least 350 ships as early as 256 BCE not part of Africa according to historian
Starting point is 00:28:52 Polybius, but Carthage is located in modern Tunisia and I would bet that madding Manning would say that North Africa doesn't count not part of Asia is an Africa. It's the Mediterranean not part of Africa That's what I would guess he'd say in any case We should probably just look as far south as we can go Interestingly fish remains have been found at sites like Blombos Cave in South Africa that date back to approximately 70,000 BCE which indicates that folks there were able to catch fish in the Stone Age South Africa is not part of Africa This evidence contradicted the prevailing theory that the inhabitants of the area at the time were incapable of using sea resources Though that's a remarkable piece of archaeology manning would probably try and insist that there isn't there's no evidence
Starting point is 00:29:32 They used boats that was ancient white people who had those boats sure so his point still stands Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah to give you some sort of an idea of how stupid Reverend Manning is all I need to do is point out the Dufuna canoe which was discovered in 1987 the canoe is found in Nigeria and radiocarbon dating is placed the age at between 8500 and 8,000 years old that time frame places the Dufuna canoe as the second oldest boat That's ever been found in the entire world a full 4,000 years older than any existing boats that we have from Egypt See, that's how awful black people are they built their boats too soon dad sure into a cat that like Ethiopia had trade routes going to It's nonsense when my actually over
Starting point is 00:30:19 I love that brag. I'm sorry. I don't mean to interrupt No, no, no, but I love the brag because also there's another video where it's like people have been complaining that I said Africans didn't have boats. They had a whole lot of coastline and like I said no boats My dad over the holiday literally said Bill Clinton was the first president to not have any military service and I I actually left the room I was like, that's an insane thing to say. What are you doing? That's crazy That's crazy, but you make these pronouncements bravely and boldly enough. You're gonna trick a lot of stupid people Yeah, yeah, a lot of people are gonna be like, yeah, that feels right. Yeah, why don't Africans have boats? Oh, come on
Starting point is 00:31:02 Oh, so stupid now to the question of monuments. I'm gonna talk about this a little bit But most of the ones that come to people's minds And like when you think about it are things like the sphinx and the pyramids and stuff like that Ozzy Mandias or Ozzy Mandamus if you will sure or the ziggurats, but then you realize Oh, that was like in Iraq and shit like that. That's not in Africa. What do you say? But since he's insistent that Egypt isn't Africa, I'll I'll enter the battlefield. He wants to prepare for us Yeah, I'll play on his terms even with that caveat. He is full of shit. For example We have the be at mundane alum boy. My pronunciation is no good. Don't worry about it
Starting point is 00:31:43 It's the largest monolithic rock-cut church in the world located in Ethiopia It was built during the Kingdom of Exum, which places its construction between 100 and 940 AD or There's the walls of Benin which were built they began building them at about 800 AD and they covered over 9,000 miles which is longer than the Great Wall of China at the time the following is from an article in the Guardian quote in 1691 lurinco lurinco pinta a Portuguese captain who had visited the capital of Benin wrote quote Great Benin where the king resides is larger than Lisbon all the streets run straight and as far as the eye can see The houses are large especially that of the king which is richly decorated and has fine columns the city is wealthy and industrious
Starting point is 00:32:28 It's so well-governed that theft is unknown and the people live in such security that they have no doors on their houses in Contrast London at the time is described by Bruce Halsinger professor of English at the University of Virginia as being a city of quote thievery prostitution murder bribery and a thriving black market made the medieval city ripe for the Exploitation by those with a skill for the quick blade or picking a pocket soft. Yes on the white genocide Yeah, then there's Timbuktu and Molly those considered a precious intellectual and spiritual center dating back to at least the 12th century The city contained many mosques now protected as world historical sites the University at Sancor as well as just tons of non One-story buildings there's plenty more examples But this should make it pretty clear that African history is much richer and more full of impressive
Starting point is 00:33:15 Accomplishment than most people are willing to accept one of the issues is just prejudice But it goes a little bit deeper than that and the case of Benin City really illustrates why Benin City was designed mathematically with an emphasis on symmetry They designed based on a fractal design where patterns would repeat on smaller and larger scales The city as a whole had a design that was mirrored in the cluster of houses So the city then cluster of houses and then that would be mirrored again in the houses themselves the rooms within the house Mathematician Ron English puts it this way quote when Europeans first came to Africa They considered the architecture very disorganized and thus primitive it never occurred to them that the Africans might have been using a form of
Starting point is 00:33:56 Mathematics they haven't eat they hadn't even discovered yet. Oh, why would it they're white Dan Places like Benin City reached what we would call the Renaissance before the West and boasted deeply Complex civic structure as well as public patronage of artists and craftsmen Spoiler alert Benin City was destroyed and its decline quote began in the 15th century sparked by internal conflicts linked to the increasing European intrusion and slave trade at the borders of the Benin Empire in 1897 the British burned the city to the ground and with it went much of the history in the monuments of the once great city Greater than the West well not all of it actually a selection of bronze sculptures from Benin were taken and are now housed at the British Museum in London an example of how the West is still robbing Africa even of the opportunity to make tourism income on its own past
Starting point is 00:34:45 Dan, you know what? Manning is so wrong I would I would even go so far as to say that maybe we don't talk about this or learn about it and Instead learn about how superior the white man is because the white man I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say and say that they want to control history to make them look As good as possible and then justify their behaviors Well, the idea of this this great city that was really well run and very safe and thriving It had a trade there were there were you know, there were resources there that were managed and everyone was happy for the most part
Starting point is 00:35:21 Yeah, the idea that like oh, yeah that that quickly deteriorated because of European and white people. Yeah, you don't want to teach that sort of thing But but the lessons are important it for example like what just was it last week that? That dude went over to the tribe and got hit with arrows and yeah, and I'm fine with that Right, I think most people are like but that sort of thing is Thing that could have been avoided with the lessons of history. Yeah, that sort of thing I know you probably think that you're going in doing something good But what you're actually doing is in like you're risking a genocide basically yeah by going and not to say that
Starting point is 00:35:59 Portuguese people showing up at Benin was going to risk a genocide or anything like that but their actions led to the destruction of the entire I Mean the worst phrase in history is and then the white man came right or like it's the worst phrase in history any History book you read and then the white man came doesn't go and everything was better It goes and then they fucking killed everybody you could you could you could you could sort of expand that out to like the Colonialists came but yeah most of the time they were white yeah, exactly So it's it's kind of a moot point
Starting point is 00:36:34 But I think it makes it it takes it outside of the realm of like where you're gonna trigger people with white identity Yeah, yeah, well they can go fuck themselves fine, but sorry sorry. Yeah. Yeah, I don't I don't I don't you're right Yeah, yeah, yeah, but maybe a better way to look at it that won't have the like the External appearance of like anti white sentiment right is the idea like when these colonialists came They did what they meant to do and it ruined everything. Yeah, it ruined a well-established city like Benin City like it did There's no way around it weights And so white people went to someplace and decided to impose their culture because they assumed that everybody there was
Starting point is 00:37:16 Acting differently and thus there for savages and because they misunderstood the organization that was there that did work and wound up Destroying it now Everybody of course has learned their lesson from that history and we don't continue to do this to do that to this day, right Dan No, we do and we defend it. Yeah, so good work everybody. That is just a demonstration of Reverend Manning knows nothing about African history and he's demonizing black people because of his misunderstanding Of African history, that's I didn't know that I didn't know about the fractal like I Read I've read a lot about like African history is so Intricately tied up with math. Yeah, that's a big big part
Starting point is 00:38:01 Natural math yeah, and the the fractal structure of a city is incredible We should really learn more about that it is something I mean, it's not something that's not taught but you kind of have to look for it Yeah, which is the kind which is kind of the disappointing part, but it is what it is. It really nails home that You know anytime anytime somebody's like well, why don't we have a white history month? And you're like well every month is white history month that one story that story is so cool of a city That's built out of a fracture structure. There's so much fractal structure. There's so much more to do There's more than I can get into yeah in terms of like where my
Starting point is 00:38:39 Understanding and expertise yeah off the yeah, yeah, but yeah Benin is a really interesting like just the eye like you could just take the idea of that fucking 9,000 mile long wall right they built and be like, huh, right? That's fucked up Why don't we know about that right why doesn't that really is it? Yeah, and you can just go from there And it's there's there's so much God white people really fucked everything up And the Portuguese anyway, there's an X clip this This should be your first indication that Reverend Manning if you up till this point if you're I don't know how it's possible
Starting point is 00:39:14 But if you're thinking this guy's fun Like oh, do you mean that anti-black tirade that he just went on after that? I'm like He's got a he's got a flair to him. I just think he's a little bit dumb and goofy Maybe he's a bit of a wacky new cat. I'll tell you that this next clip should give you cause for pause It starts to re think about like oh No, I want to do something here. I don't want you to Stop he's gonna repent. I want him to not Here's what I want to do
Starting point is 00:39:51 The other day I was talking about who I was talking about and I Hardway, right? And I had this deal with this guy. This is a parable the small-time Italian mobster, right? How do you know that and so, you know, he owe me 20,000 dollars I thought he's trying to get away with it And we do won't didn't want to pay me was acting all funny. I called everyone answer the phone I call him for two weeks. It wouldn't pick up the phone wouldn't call me back. So I went over there with a shotgun in his mouth And I was young then I
Starting point is 00:40:23 Was angry And I took it out his mouth. I told him I wanted to taste that steel and I put it in the mouth of his secretary With his slobber on it What why does he have a secretary? I want them to feel fear. I thought that I did that to make him feel fear Well now you know a lot people listen to that pull up and So I want to I want I was not right. I did I want to repent for having done I don't know if it's still alive. I don't know if they are Man
Starting point is 00:40:59 This is 40 years ago. Oh my god, that was Dan to Grand Prix actually, right? But I can tell you this so say will you all right to put it in his mouth? But why'd you put it in the woman mouth? But I put I pull it out until I'm gonna go get my money and I put it in her mouth Well, I want him to see it Mind while he's going to get my money. You know, it was it was me It was me It was just me
Starting point is 00:41:30 A lot of people say well, you know, she was a woman. Let me tell you something Well, no mobster woman. She didn't have no compunction about killing nobody. She would kill just like he would So she don't get no mercy. Just cause she's a woman. I really thought he was repenting here repent here miss out I was wrong. I really don't think you are I really don't think you are I don't want anybody misunderstanding I got the sword of David in my hand. That's why I was talking about the other day And I got bloody hands not only from there, but I would take a take if the if the Lord orders me into battle now And put a sword in the mouth of a person right now. I'll do it So what's the difference the difference that you were repenting here
Starting point is 00:42:14 I wouldn't say then I was just a young hoodlum running the street crazy as I could possibly be be But God does order his servants to take the sword the sword Into the hearts of people now if God tells me to put the sword I don't want by the end to misunderstand me by my repenting to think that somehow now that I've gone soft And put it in your mouth, I will do it. He didn't tell me to put that shotgun in that man's mouth or that woman I Didn't tell me to do
Starting point is 00:42:52 But now I don't want by the misunderstanding. I think if I you know for some things I can straight now I you know, there's a need I need you can I'll do that. I ain't above that I'm more scared now. I'm so much more scared That was not That was I put a shotgun in these people's mouths and look I didn't hurt the wrong read I didn't tell me to do that. But if he if I do think he is I will still kill I don't want people to think I've gone soft now that I'm a fucking pastor You know what I want my pastor do like a willingness to kill yeah
Starting point is 00:43:28 Because of his ideas Yeah, yeah, that's safety. We've already demonstrated. He knows nothing makes me safe Yeah, God wants him to curse the writers of SNL with stone balls stone balls and their women and children with Cancers they make it burn. Yeah. Yeah, I don't this guy's a bad dude. That's really fucking scary Who ordained this guy? Oh, I think he's self-ordained. I think so. We know that he's a doctor and he gave himself that That is the worst repentance, I think I've ever heard in my entire life. Definitely. Yeah, that's bad Yeah, and he's he's in the pulpit, right? No, this is him sitting at his webcam Okay, this is like the Manning report. He does he does these video blogs
Starting point is 00:44:16 That are what I want to eat lunacy. I want to be in his church so bad. I would go to that church I will fly to I assume. He's it. Where's he at? New York? He's in the Bronx. No, he's in Harlem He's in Harlem. He's a Harlem. I will fly to Harlem every Sunday to attend your church Well, I should tell you this he has been kicked off of YouTube for oh for why hateful screams Really, but I can't imagine him the banning has not taken Because his old channel was called a la which is the name of his church. Okay ATLA H All the land anointed holy, sure So that was his old channel and now so he's just on his old channel
Starting point is 00:44:55 No, he's created a new channel that just replaces the a and a la the first one with an H Look look YouTube if you get outsmarted by David Manning you deserve every Curse that comes to you So also that's part of me saying that if the audience likes this Episode and they would like us to continue looking into James David Manning He has a lot of sermons that I can find so there is material that we could cover him That is a possibility. I will tell you this Our our sign-off will not this time be
Starting point is 00:45:37 Reverend David Manning didn't kill a guy, but I know so no because the answer there is killed a guy Reverend David Manning probably killed a guy. Yeah, probably killed a woman too We'll have to go with Lena Dono Jesus christ, yeah, it's crazy What is oh boy, so Jordan this dude is fucking out there, man And it's wackier than you think it is wild because you know how alex jones sells these weird pills and stuff And now, uh, you know bench pyros also in the Pharmaceuticals game. What is this manning sell truck nuts? No
Starting point is 00:46:13 This is less about selling something Reverend Manning fancies himself a bit of a healer. Oh, no No, he sells personalized healing doesn't he not really like from a distance. He'll pray for you or some shit It's a bit more complicated than that. Oh, of course But I I didn't realize this and I think it might be sort of a newer addition to his uh, his preaching repertoire Uh, because when I looked into it last time I did not hear him talking about curing everything Oh, he can cure everything pretty much everything. Okay in this first clip. He yells about diabetes this dude has powers he
Starting point is 00:46:51 hates diabetes I imagine I I imagine why Don't go out In this stressful time now because there's more stress than more people realize what's happening politically. There's a lot of stress What's happening racially? What's happening economically? There's a lot of stuff happening spiritually that people don't realize that they're under stress That don't realize how much stress they're under and you can have a stroke And god don't want you to have the stroke
Starting point is 00:47:17 But you're going to have to listen to his defense maker and he sent me to prevent stroke He sent me to prevent heart attacks in and his loved ones He sent me to heal cancer and diabetes. I'm particularly against diabetes I've lived until risen to the level where I'm ready to fight diabetes I've risen to the diabetes fighting level for the weapon Is he a psychologist? I'm against diabetes that better be known broadcast Does he have a mustache?
Starting point is 00:47:46 Put it on billboards, write it on the side of milk cartons that James David Manning is against diabetes And I won't diabetes to know and I also won't diabetes to know that I've never big bread and I'll never be defeated I've never big bread? Like I can defeat diabetes. I'm not gonna let I don't have diabetes You totally have diabetes I don't have it Yes, you do But I'm gonna defeat it. I want you to know that
Starting point is 00:48:14 Let's get back now to the new Numerological thing that we would know So wait, he goes from I'm gonna cure diabetes single-handedly and the people who love god too Let's get back into numerology. I should I should tell you that this is in the middle of A video that he posted where he's going to explain the blood moons Where he just got sidetracked talking about how he's gonna fight diabetes Of course, of course, I watch this whole hour long video like what are you gonna say about the blood moon? Mostly I can cure diabetes once god gives me the tools for now. I can cure strokes and heart attacks
Starting point is 00:48:50 But I don't have diabetes. Absolutely. It's fine. I don't know why you're defensive about it, but I've never baked bread I I'm not going to say that this is his official nickname, but I'm gonna start calling him black brimley from now on I don't uh He doesn't have a mustache. I'm picturing him in my head and I can see him with and without a mustache Okay, so I don't he needs a mustache. He he could he he spiritually has a mustache. Yes, absolutely. So that was his sort of wrestling shoot promo on diabetes Fuck you diabetes. I'm gonna unite gonna show up at Madison Square Garden on sunday
Starting point is 00:49:27 I'm gonna give you the rock bottom He he warned diabetes As if it was aware And a person so are his diabetes. Does he believe diabetes is an entity that has consciousness? I think so. Yes It's short for dian beaties Princess dian beat. He's dr. D beaties Yeah, he does really feel like it's personified to an extent that i'm not comfortable Diabetes even is well, this is one of these things. I mean, I'm sure he does but it's not even like it's not even like it
Starting point is 00:50:00 Is a bacteria or something like that right right? But this is this is one of those things that really like illustrates that I think that we have someone with a deteriorated mental state to some extent Oh, yeah, and that's one of the things I should say is one of the other options in terms of another wacky wednesday show to cover Is jesse lee peterson and i'm not going to cover his show He is a guy who is a real trumpy asshole Radio show guy But the way he speaks leads me to believe that he has absolutely had a stroke and he has like
Starting point is 00:50:33 Diminished functioning. Oh, like it seems like he's handicapped If you like trump, you also have diminished well, but boom if you watched like five minutes of this you'd be like Oh, no, no, no, we can't talk about this. This is this is embarrassing Whereas manning. I think there's something wrong with the way his brain works. Yeah, but it's not it's not jesse lee peterson, right or jesse lee peterson um Worrying worrying. Yeah, like it's elder abuse to talk about jesse lee peterson. Whereas manning And by the end of this you will encourage any uh,
Starting point is 00:51:06 Oh, yeah, no Manning manning has that mental illness the same way that alex has clear paranoid schizophrenic tendencies Yes, you know where it's like manning someone just in my latte. Yeah, exactly manning. You're fucking crazy But you're saying enough to for for us to clown on you happily, right? All history of africa is nothing until the white man Jesus. Yeah, it's it's uh, it's upsetting I really wish people would be forced to like learn history. Do you know what I mean? It would be nice. Anyway Reverend Manning Diabetes is on his list
Starting point is 00:51:44 Yes, so that was Lena Dunham diabetes africa africa Also the producers and writers of snl. Yeah suspiciously Not the uh daytime players also gay demons gay that obama has unleashed right. All right. Those are bad Yeah, so that last one was about diabetes now. He explains how he can protect you and your loved ones from strokes I want to talk about the fact and i'm coming back to this i'm going to deal with this more tomorrow at the pool pit He's talking about the blood moon. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, of course Sabbath worship. This is the to date that where we are right now We're uh, uh, uh, friday. This is Sabbath Eve um
Starting point is 00:52:26 That's what most people call friday. We want to be we want to look and teach about Uh, the fact that we could see jesus in the next two and a half to three years So let me recant here today. All right, like I have to do the teaching of of of of seven oh Seven one and seven six I gotta I gotta pause there for real real quick. What that is talking about is so he is all the information that I Got about the blood moons are he was staying in a hotel in indianapolis. All right. All right That's all I need to do here at those three numbers 70 73 and 76
Starting point is 00:53:02 I believe were the highways that he drove on and he's describing some sort of like Metaphysical, uh, they're all sevens. He's creating some sort of like importance out of it And like he never explains what he's talking about just seven oh seven three seven six Those are highways. He's just talking about his driving routes. So nine 1101 That's as high level. Uh The three sevens the seven oh The seven one and the seven six. We'll get to that. That'll probably happen sometime
Starting point is 00:53:36 Also, we'll get to it. I 70 is one of the biggest Highways in the midwest. Yeah, they're a lot of you driving on I 70 is no big deal Right. A lot of those routes are numerical As a way of organizing them. So there are plenty of places where you will get a route 16 Route 18 and route 19. Yeah, that's not that's not like triple ones means a lot. Nope. Nope. Nope No, uh, and not too distant, uh, future here, uh, on the, uh, the teaching of the trust in the lord hour That's what happens the trust in the lord hour to 80 How long do you have to trust the lord forever? Oh the blood moon appeared not already
Starting point is 00:54:17 God had already kept me in the room for an hour at the staybridge hotel He earlier was talking about god had kept him in the room. I think this is buzz marketing for the staybridge hotel Okay, brings up the name of it like 20 times. It's either he's bragging like it's a good hotel I'm not sure. I have no idea or he has a little bit of an ad revenue coming in But he brings up how he got stuck talking to the holy spirit like god was talking to him in the hotel room Yeah, which I think otherwise known as a diabetic coma Where he slept in I don't know. So anyway, he's driving down 80 Which is another highway
Starting point is 00:54:52 Bumps me out that this is a major plot point And uh that he sees the blood moon right and uh, here's what god tells him Oh and told me to tell everybody and you need to tell everybody That you don't want to find yourself getting dizzy and having yeah Something like that right there you go. Yeah, uh, you don't want to find yourself getting dizzy You don't want to and having a stroke while driving your car. That's a bad thing. Let's say for instance You get ready to get in your car, right And then you get dizzy
Starting point is 00:55:24 I don't know. Maybe you're living in Atlanta. You're gonna drive Peachtree. Maybe you live in los angeles drive Uh, uh interstate five or maybe live in los vegas. You can read drive sarah. Boulevard. Maybe you live in chicago Lake shore drive name more roads getting ready to drive right new york city fifth avenue washington dc 60 Pennsylvania avenue You thought he wasn't going to We're gonna talk about dizzy dizzy, right? And then you have to get blurry. Oh no, and next thing you know, you black out a stroke
Starting point is 00:55:55 No, a stroke if you had if you had listened to the word of god before you got in your car The way god is instructed if you listen to the word of god listen to me teach Now you can't be listened to these heathers out there these sweet talkers on sale of media You can't be these these boys are hustlers. They're trying to build a big ministry and they got him I was staying at the state bridge hotel when I found that out trying to get bigger And try to save nobody. They're just trying to make themselves bigger It's a it is a shame and a scanners before god what they do At any rate fair
Starting point is 00:56:27 But if you had so is what you do before getting in your car and driving down the beltway Uh, uh, you would not have had that stroke Amen Amen I tell people as well. You can listen while you're sleeping. Okay. You can put on the report Okay, I'll be uh, who cares. He just tells me to listen to your sleep. Okay. Hold on one second. Hold on This is an advertising strategy. You and I never considered I don't want people to do that to everyone listening to our show if you listen to our show
Starting point is 00:57:01 While you are listening, you will not have a stroke. I promise you that I can't make that promise I can't make that promise I listen to his show before you drive. You won't have a stroke That's awesome You don't want to you don't want to have a stroke while you're sleeping either So you better listen to it when you go to sleep No, he was saying that you can back load it like if you're going to back load it Well, like if you're going to drive tomorrow, let's say you're going to drive pretty early You can listen in your sleep and then you'll be safe for the ride. All right, which is
Starting point is 00:57:27 But also, uh, don't listen to this show even when you go to sleep. No, it's a bad. I don't know No, the idea of any of these things. Yeah, like deep like going into your subconscious. Yeah No, no, no, no, no, don't you know, you don't want to back load our show Into nothing because if you wake up the next morning and get in your car, you're going to have a stroke. It's possible. So, um, Yeah I I like this a lot in terms of manning's Evolution that he's become this guy who's like if you listen to my show You will not be sick
Starting point is 00:57:57 Which is like, all right, buddy. This is going to be a problem when someone has a stroke Like when when your congregation has a stroke, it's going to be tough. You know what? But that's the trick of the that's the trick of jesus is uh, no That's on you. You didn't believe in jesus done. Well, there's that boom There's that possibility and then what you end up doing to is stigmatizing illness So like let's say it's not a stroke or something like that. Let's say it's cancer You know, whereas a community like a church is a great place to go if you have cancer because there's fellowship There's people who will care about you. Maybe cook you meals and stuff like that
Starting point is 00:58:32 What his church serves to do is never admit you have cancer because that will be an indication that you haven't been listening To reverend manning or something like that So all you do is encourage secrecy and people being ashamed Of stuff, which I think is probably a really negative impact But do do what you do manning do what you do That's that is one thing about the church that is like no matter how much I am virulently anti-religion
Starting point is 00:59:00 My uncle is in the hospital right now and the only reason that he like survived that night Uh, where he was uh, you know all of that shit happened was because he called his pastor and his pastor drove him to the hospital Right, you know like there's a real fuck. Yeah. There's a real community that is very positive Yeah, and it granted it's a community you could find elsewhere, but why would you ever judge someone for finding it there? I think that there's a lot. That's fine. There's a lot of value to that But the pastor that he drove to the hospital is virulently anti-gay. So it's like Fucking there's no wind. It's good news bad news. There's no wind So reverend manning is going to punch out diabetes and if you listen to his show, you won't get a stroke
Starting point is 00:59:42 Probably a heart attack. Also. It's kind of vague What about diabetes? I should tell he actually has to fight diabetes later. He can't prevent God hasn't given him the tool Yeah, he's going to he's gonna. He's pissed off at diabetes. He's at one level diabetes You're on your honor. You're you better you better watch out. So jordan. I should tell you that yes Reverend manning has found a bible verse that seems to I don't think he has It seems to imply to him that he has found the secret to immortality. I don't think he has um So here is uh, uh reverend manning selling
Starting point is 01:00:18 Immortality to his listeners. All right I need you To listen every day Okay, but I want to show you something here. All right. I want to show you something I want to show you a certificate from the staybridge hotel. He pulls out a certificate Okay, that is a tribulation birth certificate It um is one of those certificates you could get like at kinko's. Yeah, they have the yeah the sort of template. Yeah It looks like shit
Starting point is 01:00:52 Now this I'm going to show you the bible basis for this you say because you many y'all don't know the bible So you don't know what this means. Oh, yeah, all of us not know in the bible golden brought it certificate To the bible go color board a certificate That has the the the power of this verse That god is given on the 28th. You see the 28th the 28th of august to the 28th of september God gave me this revelation That of the salvation of the flesh not the souls your soul already saved what god's gonna do is gonna save your soul Leave it up there miss and save your flesh
Starting point is 01:01:34 What your soul is already saved what is it your soul is already washed in the blood your soul is already cleansed Your soul is already saved. I said your soul is already saved. It's your flash that this verse saves good god Almighty Good god Almighty. Good god Almighty. Good god Almighty. This is your flash That's some alex jones shit right there that god wants to save your face already save your soul by the shedding of his blood He wants to save your flesh get to it preaching of this verse and he sent me the preach He sent me to preach this verse Yeah, we got it He's already saved your soul. We got it blood on cow. We got it
Starting point is 01:02:16 Preach this move on your flesh. What do you mean by that? Well, he's the same way He's saved flesh two by two in the days of Noah He sent me a boat to teach to save your Until he comes back Good god Almighty And so what I want you to do is you need to see does he have a runtime certificate? For your house now, I said that what you need to do is get the certificate And you need to put it up over your dough, you know over the top of your door
Starting point is 01:02:52 Your door is door up from north. I don't you pardon my language Uh, so when you walk out your house you walk out under this certificate To avoid being ran over by a bread truck So this goes on a long time and I'll just tell you Wait, wait, wait, so why is why is bread figuring so heavily into this when he was fighting diabetes? Part of his was I've never begged bread. You might be allergic You don't want to be you don't want to be run over by a bread truck seems preoccupied with bread He's got a lot of bread shit going on. I might not like that jam bear that clicks me
Starting point is 01:03:26 Um, look dude, I feel like that clip leaves a lot of questions unanswered So I feel like what we should do now That comes from a really long clip and I wanted to play all of it But I will now allow you to ask me some questions about what's going on here And I will do my best to answer these questions and it's a synced fashion. All right. Good god All right, uh Bible wise, how important is the gold? Zero not important not important. Okay, um
Starting point is 01:04:01 Bible wise do certificates have magical powers. Nope Uh, bible wise Good god almighty. I apologies. I apologize for not throwing that in there Good god almighty He yelled so well It's so crazy. It's so good like no matter how you adjust the microphones. He's going to peak those levels. Oh, yeah It's awesome If I needed someone to yell
Starting point is 01:04:27 I probably still wouldn't get him but someone with his skills. Yeah. Oh for sure. Yeah as as a yeller I recognize game. All right. Your questions aren't getting in the right direction. So I'm just going to spell this out How about how does god save the flesh two by two? He doesn't Uh, it like in the the bible verses from matthew and what it is is uh, jesus saying uh, there are there are some among you Who won't taste death? You'll be a witness to the uh, the coming of the kingdom of god Sure, that's the gist of the the bible verse right and so reverend manning has taken that to mean That if I am a witness and I commit myself to be a witness of the coming uh, of the kingdom of god Then I won't taste death. So he's printed that bible verse on a certificate
Starting point is 01:05:12 And he's contending and telling his audience that if you put these certificates up the door like on the door that you go out of Yeah, you can't be killed when you leave your house. Yeah Which makes sense that tracks That's so much like uh, remember the episode where those uh, what was it? It was general stubblebine. No, no, no, it's the old yeah, no it was stubblebine and rima labo Yeah, yeah where they got that vaccinate me cards the postcard that's like ha ha get out of jail free Except that makes more sense because it is your choice about vaccinations Being like a victim of an accidental death is not your choice. Uh, I don't know if he
Starting point is 01:05:51 Has made anything more specific that you will not be the victim of a bread related death true So I should say just to be clear He hates bread does He's putting these certificates out and saying they will protect you from death But he's not selling them really which is really weird. I I guess that's good in the middle of this clip Like uh, this extended clip He gets into a thing where he's like what you need to do is you need to print this on a handkerchief Put it on your kid's underwear when they go out of the house and then they'll be safe and they won't die
Starting point is 01:06:28 Why not just take the certificate fold it up put it in the pocket You have to put it on their underwear. It's very weird when I get a sharpie and write it on the underwear So that's one thing and then he gets into like, uh, there's a limit of three on these because hold on So he's like, I think there's a lot of people who are going to be wanting these to put up like on your back door Maybe a window like you're going to go out the window What's going on? Well, you gotta have it on the window. So that's weird But then he's like and listen if you want them send me a large envelope with stamps because if I just have to send it to I'm not buying you stamps
Starting point is 01:06:59 He starts rambling about how like if you send me it with the So so he's a literary agent in the 1940s You need to send a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want to get this certificate It's crazy because this is like this is a scam. He should be charging $50 for these right like that But instead he's just like send me an envelope with stamps I'll send them to you three because we got a printer, you know, like But like I don't want money for them if you're gonna send me if you're gonna send me money Like so I can buy you an envelope and stamps sure it might take me a while
Starting point is 01:07:29 like what Why don't you follow through This is like it's weird. This is like a non-profit cult where The cult leader is just like hey, listen, I don't want to tell you what to do And if you want if you want happiness, it's free You don't have to do any of the shit that I say just give me a stamp There's a semblance of restraint to it that is like, huh? Why? Like I don't like episode we talked about how he like put columbia university and obama on trial and this
Starting point is 01:07:59 Court he went for whole hog with that. Why don't you just take some money? You have a cult Five bucks five bucks. It doesn't even need a ton. You don't even need to scam hard. It's so crazy Don't don't just scam for postage. Yeah, so but this bible verse is like apparently he just discovered it recently And it has become like a really big part of his his worldview and now he's decided that he is unkillable Which he explains from the pulpit this next clip. I love this monster. I was telling the lord regarding Matthew's gospel chapter 16 verse 28 I said, you know, there may be some people church people say with Jesus said something
Starting point is 01:08:47 He said there are people standing here right now. They won't taste the death Peter died. Oh, that's a problem Matthew and Thomas did too. Those are two problems So what's up, Jesus? What's up Jesus? Did you miss this one Jesus Did the writer miss it? Oh, Peter's dead. You said there's something standing here now that will not taste of death Oh, fuck He's mad
Starting point is 01:09:18 now I don't have the fullness of that. Sure what I told Jesus. I'll be a witness Anybody who raises their hand against their scripture And try to say that Jesus prophets if they all you got me to deal with the boy. You got me to deal with Best way to deal with that I ain't gonna die I'll stand for you Jesus if you need a witness if you need a witness to your scripture Count on me count on James David matter. I will stand and I'll declare before the world
Starting point is 01:09:50 You can't kill me. There ain't no casket built for me. There ain't no grave. Nobody's gonna put me in our testify Can I get a witness? I'm a witness for Jesus if nobody else I will witness this verse and I stood before here before you and said I ain't gonna die So far so good. Okay. It came nobody killed me. Whoa. All right. Can't nobody kill you either I'm a witness To that verse wow in spite of truck accidents Airplane crashes. What what have you been in an airplane? What have you been pushed off a building some disease
Starting point is 01:10:32 Don't you pick on my jesus, but don't you pick me? He said it and i'm a witness I will not taste of death And we all get to heaven On judgment day. I can stand and say jesus. I I witnessed for that very anybody know what i'm talking about. Nope That's the kind of man. I am what kind of man are you that's kind of man? It is it is no, I agree nobody, you know death can take me down I will never die He ends almost all of his yells with i'm the lord servant, which is
Starting point is 01:11:15 It's unsettling. It's very unsettling. I love the yelling like the vocal patterns that he uses are so So good like if you take away a lot of the content and even that's not that awful He's just leading a bunch of people to think that he's like immortal immortal. Yeah, which is like meh All right, whatever if they're in for a penny. They're in for a pound. Whatever right right fine so far We've mostly seen historical revisionism. That's unfortunate, but also like whatever he has a congregation of like 70 people It's right, right, right. It's not like it's not like he has 70 great people It's all like he has a giant cult so like a lot of this stuff that we've seen so far has been like quirky goof nonsense that drifts into dangerous because of like sort of but it's yeah more dangerous than anti vaccination stuff
Starting point is 01:12:02 Right, right, right. Like I can heal your strokes and you won't be hit by bread. I've been I've been reading up on No, I've been reading up on analysis of the scripture. Oh, okay, and uh, essentially what is he in the main line? No No, no, no, he's not with him They uh, the most most scholars say that the reason that this was so this was written Uh, I don't look I don't want to break anybody's heart. Well comes from Matthew. So it's a it's taken from the Q source So it's a it's also it's a secondary level from the original exactly This was written essentially way way after and it was about the people there who eventually saw Uh, christ resurrection exactly or but it's very simple, but then there's another angle to it too that is like
Starting point is 01:12:44 Uh, I don't know. I don't know every single bible verse, but I know that the flesh is really not important to uh christianity Especially not really their thing the New Testament the flesh is sort of a meat body that carries what's important within you Yeah So like the which is why you can kill your enemies and feel no uh sympathy Well, and so the idea of like you won't taste death isn't so much about the idea of you're not going to die It's not relevant to it. Exactly. You will see the coming of the kingdom of the lord Through what's important your spirit death as a uh as a sense of as as a as oblivion So you will not taste oblivion. You will taste transcendence. Yes. Yeah, there's there's that uh that I've heard
Starting point is 01:13:26 As an analysis of that scripture. So jordan Dan as is always the case you're about to ruin the fucking day. Aren't you we've had a grand old time This dude's fucking crazy I'll say that a lot of people who listen to our show like have heard all the episodes know that like There's a real real kabosh coming. There's a real hammer that I've been holding over your head and I gotta say that um If you're new Every episode is fun until dan decides to wreck all of our spirits and then we just go when I
Starting point is 01:13:57 Every episode is fun until I reveal the piece of information I've been hiding and actually there's multiple pieces of information I've been hiding of course and this is where that it stops being as fun But I think that this next clip will be sort of a fun transition. No, you're the devil. That's not fun But I should warn you ahead of this clip The past times it's not been fun This is a whole new level of not damn it. Damn it. Dan. You're the bread truck of this episode. Yeah, unfortunately You should have put up that certificate. I should have put up that damn certificate as you know, I live in harlem And we are as african-americans and certainly that black americans are facing a crisis a
Starting point is 01:14:37 catastrophic crisis of the absence of males in the homes 80 percent of the homes The the african-americans are headed by women and there are no males In the homes. There are no husbands in the homes leading This isn't gonna end well This doesn't sound like it's going to be as bad as it is this isn't gonna end well I can sense this coming. Mm-hmm. And so women are having a difficult time finding a black man to marry with
Starting point is 01:15:04 Two million black men locked away or warehoused away in prison. This is a catastrophe. Yes, that is in the black community Stay there. Obama has released these demons. No, particularly upon no the black males No, go back a homosexual demon go back to this. No as many black males to Subscribe to ideas that homosexual perverted. Oh boy. No lgbt as possible I don't like this. So we have the outing of people like jason collins who is a alleged basketball player Two blacks They have received national
Starting point is 01:15:45 From the shell of the fist bumper obama from opra went free from all black people encouraging more black men to come out Of the closet. That's not what they were doing. So we have taken direct action here at the I don't know by posting up on our announcement board outside of these words obama Has released the homo demons on the black man Look out black woman a white homo may take your man End of quote on the announcement board. So that is a new one. That's a new twist on the That's a that's a weird racist southern trope of like the black man's going to steal the white woman Now it's the white dude's going to fuck your husband when homophobia trumps
Starting point is 01:16:31 All that is kind of the way it comes out. Yeah, it's weird man. And when he's saying the announcement board, it's the marquee Yeah, like it's not just like a sandwich board on the ground It's the like, you know where you would normally see like I remember these you've seen like the best vitamin for a christian Is b1. Yeah, that sort of thing. Yeah. Yes this long White homos are gonna take your your black men ladies. Look out like whoa That's that look that as far as something to walk by. That's pretty fun I wouldn't I wouldn't feel great. I wouldn't be happy about it. But it's like, you know, it would be it would certainly like Put you'd have an interesting story to tell. Yeah, you know, like you go get drinks or somebody like you never believe the sign
Starting point is 01:17:15 I have noticed of the few black men that are left and now obama is there only a few influencing Black men to come out of the closet or be homosexual and they're being scooped up by white homos Leaving the black wait, what's your problem? It's unclear less of a choice of a man to come And be her husband and and father her children also a real fun part about this There's a lot more left in this clip at no point does he recognize that it's possible for black women to date non-black men I there is there is that like underlying racism that sort of never dealt with
Starting point is 01:17:56 I just i'm just fascinated by the ranking system right now, which is black man and black woman Number one great black man and black black man and black man not good. No number two black man and white man All the way down to the god damn bottom There isn't even a number three. That's a hundred. Yeah. Yeah, because the the white Homosexual has convinced the black person to be homosexual and is stealing him from a black woman That's because of obama as well because he's unleashed those gay demons exactly This is devastating what obama's doing to the black man and to the black woman and how the white homo is now Moving into the black neighborhoods looking for black men that have been converted into homosexuality
Starting point is 01:18:42 But black justification is bad, but I don't think for that reason you have a very hard time competing against a white homosexual male You usually got money We're great. Oh you see has an american express card. What you usually have an opportunity at the theater What a homo's love the theater. They love to go out to dinner parties They love that kind of a thing and as a black woman, you can't compete What not only with the financial strength of a white homo black system. This is devastating and Black people need to rise up in mass and recognize the utter destruction that obama's going in to destroy
Starting point is 01:19:21 uh, the the black family with his homosexual Statements that and and and the release of demons that he has done, but our church has taken a very Definite stand warning the black Yes, it has that a white homo is about what no one knows and looking at the conclusive proof No white homosexuals have come out in the sports arena that they have in the black arena We support the president of uganda. We support the President
Starting point is 01:19:51 And we support the now we were doing fine We were doing fine and we support the people of africa who will not have but you hate the people of african abominational anti creation anti integrity anti life anti humanity anti universal understanding anti dna anti if you will um, I wantliness
Starting point is 01:20:16 Established in our nation by this pervert this son of satan baraco st. Obama, but his powers Continue i'm james david mading everybody. Thanks for sounding the lord servant lord sir Wow, that was something else man. That was a wild ride I learned that if I you know ever were to find out that i'm a homosexual I need to get rid of this you can't say that word that that that's a dangerous word apparently Well, I need to get rid of this visa card. I've got apparently you gotta get an american express. Yeah. Yeah, that's unfortunate That's a hassle a lot of paperwork Man, that's like there's so many except it everywhere. You know like american express card isn't that you know useful
Starting point is 01:20:57 It's uh, it's better than discover But uh visa is the way to go anyway the like There's so much in there even if you take out the like rank homophobia like if you take away that There's so much of like I mean, I guess it's still part of the homophobia. They're like these white homos. They love the theater How can you compete with that? Where is that?
Starting point is 01:21:21 I genuinely you black women don't like theater. I I think I think I think there's a like so so From from what i'm understanding like if i'm gonna read between the lines like he's accurately describing a the the gentrification issue um, which is that A wealthier people are are destroying black neighborhoods. I'm sure that's like spiritually There's a piece of that right in his complaints and then ascribing it to the way wrong problem Well, he thinks and then furthermore ascribing it then to black women's fault for not liking theater
Starting point is 01:22:01 Which is weird That anger is so real Like and it's so like it's funny when he's talking about gay people putting Seaman and lattes and stuff like that. That's funny. That's funny But unfortunately, there's a bigger truth to this And this next clip is a mic down clip And I don't know it's something that you need to recognize when you have people like
Starting point is 01:22:26 Reverend james david manning. There's a reality to what he preaches from the pulpit that is Unexceptible it's unacceptable to a modern society in any way and it's important to recognize that when he gave this sermon He was a guest on alex jones' show This is something that alex is allowing that this person to be someone he has on his show You know what people keep reading that side out there You know, I believe it's gonna happen He's talking about that sign that he just described in the last clip about how the white homos are going to steal your man Black women, you know what's going to happen
Starting point is 01:23:03 And they keep watching these people coming into the land kissing on the street I believe god's gonna raise up an army I believe this That god's gonna raise up a group of young men and women No We're going to watch these signamites walking in their tight shorts on sunday Holding hands with their tank top t-shirts. No and go follow them home No
Starting point is 01:23:38 Crawling their bedroom windows. No slit their throats. No crawl out An amount of a month like ices has risen up in the middle east You're going to see people who've had enough of this damn foolishness And they're going to start taking ice picks And when they come to the step they're going to be sitting there like they want to beg for a dive And they will take that ice pick and ram it up their throat all the way up to the top of their heads and then walk away like nothing Because nobody's paying attention to these And the news is going to start reporting that sonomites are being slain. They're being killed. They're being slaughtered in their homes
Starting point is 01:24:21 They're being destroyed the Harlem community is running with blood of the fags and the lesbos I believe it I believe it God That's what David would do. That's what Elijah would do. That's what Joshua would do. That's what god will do Well, jesus doesn't do that anymore Nice everybody I think jesus said this t.d. jakes
Starting point is 01:25:01 He says in malachi chapter three verse six I am the lord thy god I changed out If I said gideon to chase a hundred thousand millionites out of the valley If I said david to kill 40,000 full of slaves
Starting point is 01:25:25 I'll send people in Harlem to start stealthily and secretly in restaurants Pausing these faggots Killing them wherever you can find them Destroying them at every chance you get an opportunity to do and many will be willing to say yeah I kill mister and mister fag And I'm willing to go to jail God standing for my lord and for my god and what the word of god says I'm willing to go to jail to stop these fags and let those
Starting point is 01:25:52 From insulting my children in my community and my god and hallelujah and booms like a lacquer goes right there That's a catchphrase Drive Joshua Joshua Joshua You see else about driving people out of uh out of the land So
Starting point is 01:26:21 Yeah, it's kind of tough. Uh, it's kind of tough when you see uh, oh Uh, oh, you are literally advocating for murdering gay people murder I mean just in supporting you gondas president by itself is enough. Well, you should have seen like that Yeah, that was coming. Yeah, there's a little bit of a yeah. Yeah. No, there was there was there was it Yeah, but also like that's him in his church at the pulpit Giving these like sort of elaborate fantasies about creeping in gay people's windows after you followed them home And slitting their throats in the night. Yeah, like that is who this guy is That's what he's about like you can't
Starting point is 01:27:01 I I have no word strong enough to Like to talk about that that is something that should he should be in prison. Yep Like I I I I don't know. I don't I don't know what the line is in terms of like Where does hate speech reach the point where you're yelling fire in a crowded building? Yeah, like that sort of thing But I think when you're a preacher and you're at a pulpit and you're advocating for Armies of people getting together to clear the streets of gay people through murder
Starting point is 01:27:32 I think you're on the wrong side of that. I think you're on the wrong side of free speech and um I don't know. That's what makes it sort of like, you know Hey semen and lattes Elaborate fantasies about taking ice picks to gay people not so great Alex jones is willing to have him on his show. Yeah, michael savage is willing to have him on his show Right, they advocate positions that aren't fucking far off from this sort of thing He and you know, we talk about how alex jones says the quiet part loud, right?
Starting point is 01:28:07 But he says the quiet part quietest part the loudest. Yeah. Yeah, that is underlying So much of like The world that we look at they is whether it's a disregard and not caring if people are marginalized to the point of their death Or saying I think god should put people together as vigilante murder armies it is not that much difference to me in terms of functional outcomes and um I mean that is the that is there like There is one argument to be made about That or not argument. I suppose the best corollary I can think of for that in terms of
Starting point is 01:28:45 The power structure we have now is with with trump talking about jamal kashogi's murder sure and him just being like Nah, don't care like yeah, that's been american foreign policy for the past 60 years. Sure He's the only one who said it You know I'm sure that they isn't the only one who said stuff. No, no, no In terms of the people that we look at it's uh A lot not a not many people make it this over a lot of people It's it's amazing to me how
Starting point is 01:29:18 Many people who can't read Can convince people who don't read that what they don't read says something that the person Just wants it to say. So anyway, look, I I don't know I have a really hard time talking about this because that was so fucking ugly And I even hate putting that on our show to some extent. Yeah, I don't like that at all I don't like it either But it's not honest if you don't look at like the the person that is yeah And as much as we love the way he yells the modulation and right semen in the lattes. Oh also by the way
Starting point is 01:29:47 I'm invincible right like those sorts of things That's who he is right now a lot of people might be asking, you know, like sure He's been a guest on alex jones' show, but how much does this really involve alex? You know, like is this really that related and I'd like to play you something else. He said from the pulpit No He's talking about what he'd like to see in the world. Yeah, the president who recognizes that god is in charge Theocracy Then on christmas day when it is the birthday of jesus, uh, he celebrates like the rest of us
Starting point is 01:30:21 He does not go play basketball When his homosexual friend while the rest of us are celebrating the breath of the lord jesus christ Singing over the town of Bethlehem and silent night and the fresh new air This low life heathen is in the gym with his homosexual lover I'm ready So now let's get started We're going to discover the truth And I want to tell you that my god
Starting point is 01:31:01 He is able We will get to the bottom What's going on? This nation will not become sharia This nation will not become led by muslims Indeed It is the biblical noble constitutional thing to do To drive
Starting point is 01:31:23 Muslims from this land Let them go back to the burning sands of saudi arabia Let them go back to the hills of afghanistan But get them out of americans unless they want to confess Jesus is lord be washed in the blood of jesus Then go back to your goat herd and sand walking tint if you will go cheese eating Rag head nations and be muslims there, but not here Hey go back to fucking jerusalem you goddamn moron alex jose
Starting point is 01:32:06 You got another soldier, bro Praise almighty god i'm ready Says from the pulpit. Yep alex jones. You've got another soldier and he says i'm ready Just like alex jones and when he said alex jones. You've got another soldier I mean we've heard a lot of applause, but someone yelled hallelujah. Yep So you should recognize i think everybody that these worlds are deeply connected Just the fact that he reverend manning doesn't support trump anymore
Starting point is 01:32:38 Doesn't really matter as much as these other things that clearly had enough overlap that you know It's it's such a mess. That's crazy. So I don't know. I mean what what is it? What do we got? I mean, what do we have we? We've shown that someone bad is bad. I guess I don't know. It's it's this really interesting dynamic that I think is so it exists so Abundantly in the right wing and in the bigot communities. Uh that you have this Uh Rising of talent, you know like alex is a really talented broadcaster
Starting point is 01:33:18 And then you scratch a little bit and you see all this. Oh my god. You're a white supremacist. You are really you have really dangerous Opinions right you're leading people down a terrible road The same way you have a reverend manning who is this really gifted orator in many ways like the ability like the speaking Yeah, he's an engaging speaker if hell. Yeah, if he were giving a speech about something like I don't know like lost if he was making a video about lost instead of the staphon malinu one I watched and he was yelling about You know, like yeah is the truth and now let me tell you like that sort of thing I'll be like, oh god. I love this. I'm into it right right natural talent that's there and then beneath it is
Starting point is 01:33:57 An incredibly dangerous manipulative Human who wishes murder upon homosexuals and the lgbt community. So the the reality is so much different than the presentation and Uh, I guess that's my point. I don't know. Anyway, if you guys want us to do more On reverend manning, although, I don't know why you would want us to wait I wait a wait a Leave him wanting more dad. No, but I mean, I think the mystery is solved outside of being able to find a hundred more Instances of him saying goofy nonsense. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah
Starting point is 01:34:32 So I think this is a little bit of sour grapes in the sense that like we did this episode as Sort of like this is a possibility for us to look at we know that carries an anti-semite, you know, we've gotten Lee Well I made a face. How can you mildly be? Yeah, like I I mean It is it is weird everybody that we talk about is a fucking monster. That doesn't mean we can't still Right laugh. I don't know how much the only way we can deal with these fucking idiots
Starting point is 01:35:03 I don't know how much fertile territory there is within reverend manning Although that clip about african history gives me some hope Yeah, because at least that the gives an avenue to go down Yeah, the more concrete bullshit a person says the more you uh, you get excited Yeah, well, there's stuff like that and maybe we'll be able to dig up Some things like that but in terms of like his bigger story it is really just um What for whatever reason he hates gay people and it is such a visceral thing for him
Starting point is 01:35:36 That it invades almost every aspect of anything he does and so for us to like any hates bread Also hates bread that might be something we could dig into we can always dig into bread But I guess the bigger the bigger point is if you want us to cover him more Let us know we might do that Also, if there's other suggestions that you have because I'm banging my head up against a wall a little bit in terms of like Who has shows right that are things that we could go over that are fun Right. I'm much more. I'm willing to explore a whole lot of territory There's there's limits, I guess. All right. Well, I mean, I don't I don't want to do too much more
Starting point is 01:36:17 Space stuff. You know what I mean? Like yeah, yeah, I think we're uh, yeah I get what you're saying because we have had a couple suggestions from people and I appreciate it But like there are more like Hard space stuff hard sci-fi kind of guy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not sure like what's fun about Project Camelot is the lies the space lies Yeah, yeah, there's there's something like that then sure But anyway, if you have a suggestion, please feel free to send us an email. It's knowledge fight at gmail.com Uh, anyway We have a website knowledge fight.com. We do we have a twitter account. Uh, it's at knowledge underscore fight
Starting point is 01:36:49 We have a facebook group. It's true It's called go home and tell your mother you're brilliant. We're also on itunes. We are on itunes. You can uh, Subscribe leave review, etc. You've heard a podcast before. Absolutely. You know the deal So like like I said earlier Lena Dunham Has been a guest on the chris gethard show, but she has not Committed a murder as far as I know as far as we're aware It does it would seem incongruous for her to have killed anybody. It would be weird
