Knowledge Fight - #473: August 20-21, 2020

Today, Dan and Jordan experience how the past week ended on The Alex Jones Show. In this installment, Dan needed closure on the "ShadowGate/Millie Weaver gets fired" situation, which Alex sort of provides. Also, a couple of Alex's friends gloat about Steve Bannon's arrest.

I'm sick of them posing as if they're the good guys saying we are the bad guys knowledge everybody welcome back to knowledge fight I'm Dan I'm Jordan we're a couple dudes looks around trick novelty beverages and talk a little bit about Alex Jones oh indeed we are Dan Jordan quick question for you what up what's your bright spot today my bright spot today is so bright that I required a text okay I texted you about this you did I texted some other folks about this too it's so bright I was doing laundry and I was walking down to my laundry room and I heard the telltale chipper chipper chipper of birds I looked around and what did I see on the like under like on top of a light fixture like you know laundry rooms are in basements yes so you

know like it's your your subterranean and there's a light fixture up there there's a bird's nest and like some baby birds cute little baby birds yeah it was really nice it was a really nice way to start my day and I'll tell you this I love the like sort of personified things you can see in animals okay like what I I know that it's anthropomorphizing a little bit more than I should be all right all right these birds were making a racket until I looked at them and then they were looking at me like wouldn't say anything I didn't say looking at me like hey come on now like complete silence as soon as they had any kind of attention oh you talk a big game don't you birds yeah there was there was sort of a like trying to trying to look at it from human motivations sure sure it was

pretty fun and you know I don't know there's a there's a small part of me that wanted to snuggle those birds of course of course I am appreciating your turn to grizzly atoms yeah I wanted to raise them as my own children live on your nice little beard but I recognize that any interference could hurt the birds yes I don't know how to take care of a bird true it's mom you have a cat yeah it's pair those are issues it's parent bird knows what it's doing oh you know you never know about parents I'm going to check out bottom the next time I do laundry but but for now call DFS I mean they were they were they were looking good yeah they looked healthy you sent me a picture they look great yeah shout out birds you hey birds you keep on doing what you're doing how about you my bright

spot Dan is the return of the only other sport I care about tennis okay the third sport all three of them are irresponsibly restarted I disagree with that decision entirely and I'm watching the hell out of it it's amazing Chepovalov is incredible love them this is tennis is great better than rafa love to rafa is not going to play do you know why because he made the smart decision not to fly to america for any reason good good on yeah it's disappointing he's not going to win he's not going to defend his us open title Dan but there's always the french you know he's going to be there for the french open sure when is it's going to be crazy he's going to well one thing one thing you can take so listen is that no matter how irresponsible any of these sports are they're probably more

responsible than pro wrestling that's fair that's fair it just didn't stop have you been watching the weekend I watched nxt's 30 nxt triple x on saturday I watched a bit of it I actually turned it off in the middle not because it was bad or anything but I just didn't give the shit you thought you were watching triple x state of the union I thought I was I thought I was watching that vindiesel movie exactly how I did the sequel no nice cube one no I'm not watching that I would know no I just I don't I don't know what it was I just didn't care you just didn't have it in you know this this this one just flew over yet it might be done with wrestling I don't know I just I had no patience for it it didn't grab me I I don't know we'll see I intend to watch

summer slam on a delay because we're recording this on sunday actually wow summer slam is going on so I'll probably watch it this evening after I edit the episode you know it's unwind I'll probably be bored as I assume I don't want to get into it this is really bumming you out it is a little bit I'm sorry I wish I hadn't brought it up yeah let's brighten things up all right by discussing how today we have an interesting episode to go over we're going to be talking about august 20th and 21st 2020 I'm Dan this is 2020 a lot of 20s there there were quite a few times a tongue twister yeah um it's interesting time I didn't feel done okay with the alex jones milley weaver shadowgate drama but I wanted to be done well no one's won the 10 000 yet right no I think it's

not real okay I needed a sense of closure to it because alex wasn't addressing it on his show of course at all we were seeing this like milley talking some shit but like at the point that we got to on wednesday of last week there wasn't really like he had told milley behind the scenes clearly based on her twitter that uh shit was done yes yeah but we didn't have any forward facing presentation of it and so I wanted to keep digging around a little bit see if we could figure that out so we're going to be this is thursday and friday of last week all right and we will we will close out the week on alex's show and see if he brings up whether or not rainbow snatch all right persona non grata you want to you want closure for this

okay uh and quite frankly I think you're a dick I gotta get that away do not I gotta get that over criminal behavior you gotta get it away um so Jordan here is not a context drop from today's show cherry pie don't come out that ass yeah man all right fair enough fair enough you know I've never thought about it that like that way you know I've never thought about it well when you do you realize I realize of course so one of the reasons that I wanted to keep going covering this is one it was obviously the lack of closure vis-a-vis uh Millie the second reason was there's a lot of nonsense happening first of all right before the 20th uh the night before we had the reporter ask Trump about QAnon yeah and that was weird never heard about it um you love those people

though great they're great they love me I've never heard about their nonsense so I'm just stoking it quietly and slowly and of course Steve Bannon was arrested wow and so I felt like there was a lot of potential for takes yeah and one of the things I found really interesting was how the 20th started Alex started the show no it was not the end oh sorry sorry he is not fancy free the show starts with Alex playing the clip of the reporter talking uh you know asking Trump about QAnon but if you pay close attention there's one thing that's missing from this uh clip it is this belief that you are secretly saving the world from this cytanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals does that sound like something you are behind well I haven't I haven't

heard that but uh is that supposed to be a bad thing or a good thing I mean you know if uh if I can help save the world from problems I'm willing to do it I'm willing to put myself out there and we are actually we're saving the world from a radical left philosophy that will destroy this country and when this country is gone the rest of the world would follow every time that Alex plays this clip which you will a number of times it conveniently cuts off the beginning where she's asking about QAnon oh why why would they cut that out because Alex desperately want like he can't shit on this because he also says that Trump is fighting a cabal of well of course uh cannibalistic pedophile right uh network folks so he can't shit on that but he has

stated position the QAnon's a bunch of assholes right and he doesn't like it so he has to take the optics of this and just remove the part where the question's about QAnon if you can't shit on it pretend it's not there I think that makes perfect sense from his standpoint yeah I mean it's a nice little slide ahead pretend that the question wasn't about QAnon get out of here and just be like yeah it is great that Trump is fighting demons honestly I've never met Millie Weaver in my life well interestingly Alex does uh start the show mentioning okay the troubles um and uh I thought that he was gonna get into it uh because he says he's not gonna get into it naturally they always say Jones put out the discredited pizza game theory none of it was true

the only pedophilia supposedly in the world was in a pizza place I never said that the media made it the issue they set everybody up to cover something because it wasn't happening there to divert from all the places it was happening and the media clever jones admitted wasn't happening there and I said yeah you're the ones that first said it but yeah it's happening right over here not there and they turn that into their defense of it but everyone sees right through it but the influences of it are absolutely massive and its tentacles reach into every level you know I've recently had to disassociate myself from certain people who I told the very heavy heart that I'm gonna have to expose the situation I'm not gonna do it today I've got too much going on

but this this this whole evil is right under the surface and it's coming out onto the open ground now and and and and we're going to have to deal with it so he's had to dissociate from Millie has something to do with QAnon and Pizza Gate stuff and uh yeah he whenever he says I can't get into it today I'm not gonna get into it that to me is usually an indication he's about to get into it yeah of course but he doesn't he doesn't he sticks to that he's too busy that kind of disappointed me a little bit because it obviously is a central point of my curiosity right right right and then also again the other one is uh bannon I was interested to see how how what was going to happen there and he just he's coming out the gate touching on these

topics that I want to hear about and his take on bannon is pretty interesting now obviously Stephen Bannon was arrested Southern District of New York they're the ones trying to get all the Trump supporters I don't like Stephen Bannon he's done some nasty stuff he bear false witness against Roger Stone sure he did but now you see him with a private border wall that raised tens of millions of dollars and then they kept a hunk of a hundred thousand a piece for their expenses and thanks since when can you not start something like that for treason this is a this is an interesting tape what what I can't embezzle now I just can't embezzle I appreciate that on some level that Alex's position on it is you know what seriously

fuck bannon I don't like that guy but scams are cool it does seem like we have hit the real core you're going to stop people from scamming yeah come on now and then of course the the old standard the failed safe at the end there is the everyone else scams yeah exactly all right not a defense but whatever it reminds me of the the paul of topkins joke where he's talking about working in there one of his working at a video store one of his co-workers like well of course they expect you to steal that's why they pay you so little and you're like no stealing is wrong all the time well apparently not fair so this is an interesting take that Alex has but the take evolves a little bit okay and now as Alex talks about it a little bit more he starts to think

that maybe maybe there's something up with this bannon arrest bannon arrested this morning right after obama speech right before biden speech to discredit the wall to make it look like trump did something bad the same company got some of the contracts to build the wall this is to embroil trump at a new wall scandal bannon is so slippery and so nasty from what i've seen that he might be in on this meeting with epstein before he died meeting with the clinton's and others reportedly that they could have put him into the indictment so that he can now try to implicate trump or something which is totally asinine now it is as an i that would be very asinine yep so apparently alex is floating soft pitching the theory that steve bannon's in on this this is a false flag

yes this is a false flag fraud yeah he's he's he committed fraud well got away with it for a long time waited until they caught him and then he's what was is he thinking like what took you guys so long like what are we doing here yeah yeah yeah yeah he was in on it from the jump right in order to get this arrest eventually right right right yeah this line of thinking doesn't continue but i do appreciate it because it's you know it's kind of like someone just swinging wildly yeah you know it's that old that old fight it's like when you put your head down and you just wave your arms around and watch it though it's the windmill yeah that old fighting spirit yeah couldn't to see it that old that old college spirit give it a try in alex yeah very sad impotent and goes

nowhere but i like still like to see it so in this next clip we find out that alex has reached a certain point in his fear of the future you know obviously he's talked about how he's preparing his bunker in maybe somewhere outside uh austin or something that's a bunker he's certainly done a lot of these infomercials with his food people his doomsday food people we've reached a new pinnacle like used to i'd go into the doctor to get checked or something they say here's some antibiotics or i'd get a tooth pulled here's some antibiotics and say i don't need it and i wouldn't get the prescription now i go get the prescription and i go put it in the medicine cabinet to keep it i mean i'm doing little things like that folks there's antibiotics and things are going to be absolutely

valuable so because i don't ever need an antibiotic for crack tooth or sore throat or whatever but i'll still go get it checked out in case it's some bad and i get it in case i need it and i've got like seven bottles of antibiotics in the last couple years i'm sure their expiration date will be on a while they're still good for a while okay alex is hoarding antibiotics i mean i don't know yeah i don't know i i'm i'm i'm yeah sure let's hoard antibiotics i don't know what to do with that i don't either i mean will smith used him an i am legend i don't know that was sure sure that movie was very very real it's a documentary uh huh yeah i mean i i don't know it's based on Vincent Price's life i i feel i feel like you could probably end up causing more harm well

than than good i mean especially if you have expired antibiotics or if you don't have enough for a full cycle you could end up giving yourself a drug resistant form of something you could end up like outside of doctor's uh supervision taking medications is usually something they don't advise and antibiotics is one of them as far as his backup plan for when the operation with his supplements goes down hocking expired antibiotics in the apocalypse he did say they're gonna be very valuable yeah that does sound like him i gotta give him that he's preparing to hawk even more bullshit i got uh zithromycin two years past overdue but where are you gonna get better what are you gonna do what are you gonna do what antibiotics expire they're just lying to

you about that why wouldn't you say that yeah so alex is really trying to cover this q and on question that was posed to trump sure but without really having to own the fact that it was about q and on trump ask if he supports conspiracy theory conspiracy theory that he's saving the world from satanic pedophiles there are a lot of satanists there are a lot of pedophiles trumps fighting him but the question was about q and on i don't know what i don't know what you're talking he does like alex doesn't like completely deny that the like he does mention at one point yeah that the question is about q and on right but then tries to cover everything surrounding it much longer in the show outside of that context right right right which is strange to me yeah

he's almost trying to discredit the conspiracy theory with conspiracy theory yes about how there isn't a conspiracy theory but there is a conspiracy something like that yeah so alex plays this clip from ms mbc about the trump like and q and on right the there's a discussion of trump like and q and on and this is interesting one of my favorite things about this show alex's show is the various ways in which tech goes wrong yeah there's a lot that we've seen there have been phone call problems sky problems nobody just says hello yeah certainly there have been times when people can't find things that alex needs this is a new one okay and it's it's the kind of tech issue that i never thought i would you'd run into this is from msnbc donald trump is far more

well-suited we had him full worse host than potas here it is alise um it is an understatement to say trumps on the low road trump is like subterranean way down under where all the pipes are laid underground and to that point he's wrapping himself around um how do you say it q and on q and on loons and he has congratulated a right wing candidate for i mean he is so committed now to the dark underbelly the fringiest aspects that i don't see how they think they're enough of those people that they're willing to roll the dice and repel by the way it paused the kinds of independent back at up five five minutes or five seconds look at this information it's just crazy you can see in that lady's bookstore there

that there on her it's a little distracting with the music playing in the background guys a rolling stones all right whatever let's just start the whole clip over then okay that was not going out to break that was that was just middle of this segment music coming in somebody there is working for us that's the only thing that makes sense who would just start playing music i was on purpose no i think it was like a switch glitch or something like that because it started right after the clip sure so you probably went to a different channel or something like that with the audio feed

and it accidentally was on a radio station or something sure like what people are listening to instead of listening to alex right right right right i just it's amazing it's it's remarkable that just the new ways that you find to fuck up your professionalism and your presentation i just love it i'm waiting somebody has to throw a pie in his face that's what needs to happen yeah that's what that's with the closure i need preferably it while he's doing another publicity started with llamas and studio and it should be millie weaver yes with a chip implanted inside of her payback absolutely so in this next clip alex is just uh uh disgustingly is homophobic the left doesn't leave california and come to your state and stop it they come and they bring california

and islam doesn't leave islam and then come here and want to be us no no no on average they're disgusted with who we are and i mean i'm disgusted with who we are but i don't want to blow people up yes you do they do not embrace us so i i mean that's nothing new and it doesn't really add a whole lot to our understanding of alex but i played the clip and i cut that intentionally just as a reminder that when he's talking about these things he says on average yeah he's talking about normal people he's not having a conversation that specifically about people with extreme ideologies of whatever uh orientation of faith they might be in a pool store yeah he's that's what he's talking about just at all like on average muslims uh they hate us yeah and it's like uh hey man uh

stop trying to pretend that that's not what you're saying yeah stop trying to pretend that you're having a different conversation than you just generally hate other groups of people yeah the idea that no matter what no one has any interest in assimilating in a into uh american culture at large and only want to impose their culture upon other people and they're disgusted to the one who want to blow you up yeah which is bananas because he totally wants to blow people up and force his ideas upon everyone else speaking of people um who blow things up uh particularly foreign governments if you believe alex uh steve pochennik is going to be on today oh i'm excited my boy what's he got uh steve's on because uh he has some thoughts about band

of course he does he hates banding right oh yeah okay i was about to call a producer gary and say get steve pochennik on and here comes the message hey steve pochennik wants to come on ready does he got a lot of inside baseball on steve banding i don't know his take yet but i'm gonna give you a mind we'll see how they match up it's kind of a fun game it is i don't like steve banding steve banding brought in a bunch of the deep state globalist he visits the hollywood screenwriter and he took a lot of the populist movement that was already out there that this audience supported and kind of cobbled together as an operating system trump resonated with it along with steven miller i think he's a good guy and trump really believes it so he picked it up but then bannon

lied in the senate committee intelligence committee and said that uh well stone had no connections to wiki leaks well that was the truth but then he went and lied with perjury to the uh show trial in dc against roger stone would judge amy berman jackson and said that he was the main conduit well i was there there was no conduit so that's one of alex's big uh his argument about bannon he just keeps insisting that he bore false witness in roger's trial sure and that's because he believes that bannon told the senate intelligence committee that roger had no connection to wiki leaks but then at the trial he claimed the opposite in order to jam roger up surprise unfortunately the senate intelligence committee's report was released last week and if you consult

page 241 you find this quote bannon recalled discussing wiki leaks and assange with stone both before and after taking over as the chief executive officer of the trump campaign on august 13th 2016 bannon recalled that prior to joining the campaign quote stone told him that he had a connection to assange and quote implied that he had inside information about wiki leaks after bannon assumed the role of campaign ceo stone repeated to him that he quote had a relationship with assange and said that wiki leaks was going to dump additional materials that would be bad for the trump campaign that sure sounds like a crime alex's premise is false that bannon testified something contradictory at roger's trial compared to what he said in his senate testimony he's just

banking on his audience not taking the time to learn what the senate report says which is a safe bet yeah it's a thousand pages long it's very long it's very long yeah so steve pecanic comes on whenever i say steve i'm going to be talking about pecanic when i say bannon i'm going to talk about steve bannon okay for the sake of clarity right so steve comes in and man i love this guy when he swings he swings for the god damn fences you know i lately with the without steve pecanic there isn't anybody who's really going for it you know well i find that i hate all of these people and i think they're all monsters and they all have nefarious agendas agreed which should just be taken as red yeah i think that there's two classes of criminal here and there's

people who are like just really just like embarrassing scams and i think we'll see another one later and that's dianna lorraine like she comes up later and it's like this is an embarrassing fraud yeah who gives a shit milley weaver's terrible right oh and shroyer's terrible garbage so many of these people that alex has on his guests are just dismissible uh week yeah steve is another class of criminal he's got his own thing and i think part of it comes down to brazenness yeah steve doesn't give a shit not a fucking shit he does not care no and so go home and tell your mother your brilliance exactly that's the fucking if that is steve just like oh you don't like it i don't care from the perspective of someone who has to listen to these ding dongs talk all the time i

least get some sort of an entertainment value out of steve and particularly when he comes in and this is his complaint about bannon what is your take on this it's very simple i was on your show a couple of months ago and i said that uh steve danon was a complete sociopath and eventually he would trap himself in his lies and his collusions with his colleagues i i am for the indictment conviction and prison for steve bannon the reason is very simple bannon is what we call a self promoted uh a nicer term or a different term would be a bs artist oh really oh really steve so that's why he should be in prison all right because he's a bs artist he's a bs artist family show he's a bs artist now coming from the guy who's solved from it solved every

geopolitical problem that has ever happened from the guy who cured coronavirus yeah certainly was patient zero um yeah i i think he's a bs artist dad why that's that's oh there's something so universal about that mentality of like whatever they're accusing us of we're doing or you know that that kind of thing and i think that everybody has it to a little degree in this info wars world but steve fucking relishes yeah oh yeah he wallows in it yeah he's the biggest self promoter in the world he allows alex to say that he's who tom clancy based jack ryan on all the stuff he loves it yeah he is a gigantic bs artist it's just it's just delicious he's that projection is amazing he's covered in someone's blood that he just murdered and he's like i don't like steve bannon

he murders too many people like that's that's what we're doing right here yeah it's amazing from an entertainment standpoint yeah steve still sucks he's the worst he should be imprisoned for being a bs artist dad well by his logic yeah so steve months ago had told alex that uh bannon was going down yeah well i mean that was a safe bet that mic down for this because i want you to follow how excited alex gets when he thinks that this was based on inside information okay and how disappointing it is when his ignizers talking shit now remember months ago i had told you bannon was going to be arrested and a year ago i thought you didn't say that i should have started the broadcast i remember you i mean have you gotten rumblings of this or you said bannon's

gonna pay no no i had no rumblings one of the things that you and i do intuitively is it's obvious when a man like bannon gets up ahead of himself sure so um that was great because alex is like oh what you got some inside information got some rumblings nope out of nowhere just talking shit just made it up off the top of my head he seemed in over his head i didn't like him i don't like him so i just assumed he was going to go to jail yeah so i'm going to play this next clip and it's steve sort of rambling a little bit about obama and one of the only reasons of playing this is just uh as a way to point out that alex is back pretty deeply in the calling michelle mic and uh and doing uh doing all that stuff it's uh pretty disgusting none of them have ever put in

a president obama was a freak of the cia black lying homosexual complete farce who then calls our president of farce and then you know delivers michelle obama a total nobody who was already threatening harvard and princeton what do you think a big mic that that's her nickname now what do you think a big mic i i i think she is exactly what she is she is a asexual individual i gotta hold on stay hold on we're gonna come back with our threat to america the things are gonna get really bad if we reelect trump this is just such a stupid game but alex is getting deep into it again and we've seen this cycle play out over and over again and it's really not worth getting riled up about because as ugly and uh you know based in bigotry as it all is he's just trolling

what's gonna happen is that the election's gonna happen and then trump's gonna win but then polosi and the left and the democrats of course they're going to say the biden one and they're going to secede all the blue states are going to secede right um and so alex one hundred percent fine with that at this point alex pitches this to uh steve okay and steve's response is pretty interesting every one of the pundits from van jones to senator schumer to to hillary they all come out to eric holder and regurgitate this and say we're normalizing it we're going to secede and take the country with them and we're back to the early 1860s daughter pochetic so this is serious if they even attempt this it could really hurt the stock market hurt the country break it up i mean we can't just let

i had a sense that maybe it was something like that but even so this wasn't a movie for kids yeah like i don't know any animation it's not animation no okay well then any movie for that has kids is for kids i don't know it's it's um it's interesting it's he's talking about children's programming but he's still not being specific and i just i didn't know what was going on and he wants to kill people well yeah i got before a and i saw this story like five of him and i went on god i remember that trailer i went and watched it and then i went and looked at some others and i was walking down the stairs and i started dry heaving and throwing up and on the floor and i actually stumbled into a side bedroom and laid on the ground for about 30 minutes

then sometimes someone will pull up something on the screen that's like a headline that kind of works for him yeah you know riff on that for a little while yeah toss it in there every now and then he'll really you know he'll try to get to the news and when he does it is just reading headlines no context a little con a little like a little clip a little like that's stupid yeah next headline basically yeah and and so this is a story about american airlines uh they're going to trim back some cities service to some cities sure and this is basically what he how he covers it let's keep going through these headlines american airlines is dropping service to least 15 cities cnn celebrates they say probably for good his analysis of it is non-existent

outside of pretending that cnn is celebrating it yes yeah which i don't know how he's justifying that i don't know why they would they're not but what would they why would they celebrate it well were they to celebrate it though there's an exclamation point in the headline that's fair that's fair we we got to be more cautious with our punctuation why would they write an article about it if they weren't celebrating it because but this is this is what i'm talking about this is how alex covers news the assertion that cnn is celebrating this is completely unfounded and it's just in order to make cnn look like they're cheering for evil yeah yeah there's no analysis of the story what cities are these that are uh services being trimmed back for i would why what

hear somebody like alex who didn't go to college say things like all they do is teach you that ideas are weird yeah and not be offended by that like there there is a very there is a value to higher education right and even if it's not essential for for everybody and maybe even not for a lot of people it is still very valuable one thing i i feel like he has no concept of is the fundamental flaw in if your education consists of your parents buying you any book you want there is an issue there many of the things that i learned a lot from were books that i did not want true i do not want those that is why you have to go somewhere where somebody enforces rules to make you read that shit yeah otherwise you're self selecting for your own bullshit yeah

that's a very good point there are tons and tons of things in college that i learned begrudgingly yes exactly yes exactly a lot of literature that actually turned out to be some of the most rewarding stuff was like things that i'm like i'm not going to read this bullshit totally somebody yeah i had to read Anna Karenina and i'm looking at it and i'm reading the first two chapters just going how can i escape this book it's a great book well you can escape through the back door which is the end of it exactly finish it anyway alex hasn't read a book in years uh or at least a political book sure but you know i haven't read a book on geopolitics in years i read hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and i hundreds and hundreds a year i used to stay until two three in the morning
