I got new glasses about two weeks after I got these My dog Jake got a whole of them And there's tooth marks and the like all over And that was about a year ago So I went and got a new pair of glasses And Dan do you wanna know how stupid I am How stupid When I went to get new glasses I was looking at the frames

And I was like oh you know what I'll do I'll get some different frames I like the same style but I'm gonna get some different frames Can I predict what happened? I got the same exact frame Exact same frames Intending to get the different ones Intending to get different frames I got the same one

I am the tenth famous person on the plane where the big bopper went down Not going to be in the news anymore Yeah Mike Flynn's interview Gonna have to be on the back burner Page A26 my friends I did watch it and it's boring But we may cover it at some point Because it is a bizarre thing to happen

You know because you have Mike Flynn Who's like the hero of the QAnon folk Who think Alex Jones is like a CIA massage shill Right And the two of them are doing an interview where they're like Hey buddy And they won't stop talking about it on the episode That we're going to be going over today

Like it ends with the two of them hugging Oh great Love it Great Top Pepper describes it as like a really important moment Yeah Of course I don't know how QAnon fans would rationalize that

Like it seems like it would be really difficult for their hero to be hugging a CIA massage agent I know here's how I would do it I would say he actually doesn't know anything about us Doesn't care and would just like our money Ah I mean that would be on the level Yeah So Jordan today what we're going to be doing

We're going to be going over first of all The speeches that Owen Troyer and Alex Jones gave At a Stop the Steel rally on the evening of January 5th Okay Then we will be tracking the entire day's coverage Alright On Infowars on January 6th Okay

Okay So if I understand correctly We are playing The Washington Generals today Is that what's going on? It is the B string But it's still important I do think it's important to look at the The lens of how the coverage on Infowars went

Because you can see Alex's hand Totally Editorial control You can see the training that these people have had Under Alex And Alex does show up a bit And he's yelling For sure

I was not surprised In as much as they've been talking about this For a long time And Alex has been trying to incite an event Like people storming the White House Sure Or not the White House, presumably The Capitol building for quite a while

That has been something that has been A predictable conclusion from some Sure But I would be lying If I said I wasn't still like shocked Yeah I wasn't ready for it to happen Right

I thought it was going Like I said already I thought it was going to be another dumb rally Where like Ali Alexander says a bunch of nonsense Yeah No one goes home I was taken aback by how quickly things got out of control How extremely they got out of control

Yeah And I was pretty surprised Watching Alex's coverage of it too Yeah, I'm interested to see I was trying to avoid dipping my toe Into how the conservative media Would react too much to this So I didn't get a whiff of

Ruining the whole premise of the show Which is that I don't know what Alex is going to say So I'm very curious to see how they all take this As a glaring loss And that they're all a bunch of embarrassing morons I think that's what they're going to I think this is interesting Because you and I have very different takes

On the events that transpire Yes, very much Over our text messages We've been going back and forth And there's a little bit of a disagreement And I actually think that both of our positions Have merit And there's

Validity to both of them You believe that this was an optics disaster And they all looked like dum-dums And this is going to be crippling To the right-wing extremist movement Yeah, I would argue that And I can see where you're coming from And I think that there is a place for mocking

And I think that that is something that is You know, valid to be part of the conversation Sure Personally, I see patriot lore being established And that worries me I see, you know, the way that Alex talks about Like Colonel Travis and his time at the Alamo And it's like, this isn't history

Sure This is patriot lore Sure, sure, sure This is something like a misunderstanding And a misrepresentation of the past Yeah I see that happening in the present And I see all of the elements that are necessary

In this event to become a part of patriot lore That is really encouraging And inspiring and dangerous for people in the future And I don't think that you don't think that's valid also No, I think that's one of the weird things about Our general disagreements is I think you're probably right If a certain couple of variables

Like, our worldviews are just like A couple little variables twisted here or there And we disagree Otherwise, I think Even then, we're still coming at it from the same like This is where all of these people think Yeah, and I think that some of these differences In our perspective

That led me to believe that they had no idea People were planning to storm the Capitol The next day They are acting 100% business as usual Promoting what they expect will just be another afternoon Of profitable terrorism edging That they're going to be playing And that's kind of the vibe that I get

This is all like an infowars business as usual Just Owen being a dumb shithead And the theme is Four more years for Donald Trump I think all of us can get behind that I'd like to see a thousand more years Of human freedom And a thousand more years

Of the United States of America Then deal with climate change? You don't fuck It always happens Oh my god, they're so silly It always happens The USA chance break out so easily Here's the problem

Against humanity Every crime they commit against a Muslim A Christian, a Buddhist, an Agnostic A Chinese, an African, a North American It doesn't matter I think he's fucked up It's a crime in the eyes of God You can tell that Alex is a serious scholar

Of Chinese history in the Chinese Communist Party Because he knows the names of Mao and Xi Yeah I actually kind of think that he doesn't realize That Xi isn't Mao's successor And I'd love to bring up Hu Xintao to him Because then he would say who? And then we'd end up in a vaudeville bit

I would legitimately like to ask him If he knows that Chairman Mao had a wife I would be interested to know if he thinks that The whole time it was just him I don't know You know I don't think he knows a whole lot more than a couple names I think that you might be right

Some broad strokes and maybe something he read in a JBS pamphlet Could be Leaving that aside, it's important to understand That Alex is lying to this audience In a very real way He doesn't care at all what China does To the Uyghur population of Muslims Except when he can use their pain as a weapon

Against his own enemies In this case, he's in front of a crowd So he wants to establish the moral high ground Against their imaginary evil enemies Who support China's treatment of Muslims When he's alone on his own show Speaking freely, he sounds a little bit different Like he did on May 26th

But from Michigan to Texas From London to Los Angeles From Rio de Janeiro to Berlin There are called the prayers I don't like to call them Chinese But they don't put up with that Because they know it's a group trying to take them over Hey, Chai Khoms, do your thing

On the countdown of ways to learn We've gone from ten to about eight When he gets down to a four We know we're fucked up Right now there are eight ways to learn I would say that he's having a good time And more importantly, he has had A good time before this

That's fair He's been having a good time That's a fair characterization And I think, like I was saying He's gassed, like he has no cardio If you're a comic and you want to be Like a high energy comic You'll quickly learn that if you're out of shape

You're going to have a really tough time with that You see comics who are like Maybe a little bit more energetic Sometimes they'll be sweating And it's because it's hard It's hard to keep that energy up And I think Alex is learning I'm sweating now

I get what Alex is doing Like I kind of understand what he's up to It's baffling to me to imagine That you know people are like Wild Yeah this is good Man This is entertainment
