So Michael Popeye, legal a after going to need a huge waiting room, a green room in Georgia for Fulton County to hold all the witnesses that Fulton County district attorney Fawni
Wellas is going to call against Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows, among others this summer. It includes, according to new reporting by Tamara
Hellerbitt, who's on the ground with her ear to the ground in Georgia. It includes several
department of justice, Trump department of justice, key leaders like former attorney general Bill
Barr, former acting attorney general Jeff Rosen, former acting deputy attorney general
Richard Donio.
If that's not enough, and we'll talk about each of them and what they'll testify to, Steve
Bannon, who is part of the war room on in leading up to Jan 6th, a now convicted felon related
to obstruction of Congress.
He's on the list. Cassidy Hutchinson, Mark
Meadows, right hand person who were closely with him who's written a memoir, testified to
the Jan 6th committee after she got rid of Donald Trump's self-appointed lawyer, has testified
and cooperated with the Georgia prosecutors with the DC prosecutors that Cassidy Hutchinson. And of course Mike Pence,
which I did an earlier hot take on, who apparently was surprised that he'd be called in Georgia.
No idea why Mike Pence would be surprised that he'd be called as a witness against Donald
Trump in Georgia. He's basically been campaigning to be a witness in all of the prosecutions with
public statements at his own memoir, so help me God.
In Georgia, as I said in an earlier clip, Mike Pence declared not once, but twice that there was no election fraud in Georgia,
that Georgia's election was at integrity and wasn't compromised.
And Donald Trump lost.
And that he told the boss that Donald Trump lost, that he know Donald Trump knew that he lost,
and that he also knew that Mike Pence didn't that he know Donald Trump knew that he lost
and that he also knew that Mike Pence didn't have the power to stop the peaceful transfer
of power. That Mike Pence, that's why you're testifying. But let's focus for now on the
Department of Justice on Jeffrey Rosen, Bill Barr and Richard Donnie and why they're
being called bill bar. Of course, is going to be able to testify consistent with what
he's told Congress and the Jan 6th committee and what he has said frequently in press reports ever
since that there was no outcome, determinative fraud in the election that would have changed
the results and made Donald Trump president full stop that Donald Trump knew that the
Donald Trump was informed that directly by Bill Barr and other
members of the Department of Justice that he will bill. Barr will also criticize and crap on
Jeffrey Clark and indicted. Co-conspirator who was number five or six on the on the list, the letter
head of the Department of Justice as an environmental lawyer, that for a moment in time was the acting attorney general and tried to use the Department of Justice in a weaponized way
to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power and interfere with the Georgia election
process. He will criticize somebody that used to work under him and with Bill Barr having
had the top job. Jeffrey Rosen, acting attorney general after Bill Barr stepped down, Richard
Donio, acting deputy attorney general. We'll talk about Donald Trump's attempts to interfere
with the Georgia election, weaponized the Department of Justice, which they stopped his efforts
to try to use a martial law to suspend the constitution and take possession and seize
voting machines, including in Georgia. they will also testify that based on what
they saw, there was no outcome, determinative fraud. It was a safe and secure election.
And one of the safest, if not the safest in US history, and that Donald Trump knew or should have known
that he was campaigning to stay in office and resisting peaceful transfer based on a lie. Think about the power of these members of the Trump administration, right, with ours next to their name, testifying as lawyers, as leaders of the Department of Justice for Donald Trump against Donald Trump, Mark Meadows, and Rudy Giuliani at trial. Think about it. Put yourself as I do with
trial lawyer, project yourself into a courtroom. And what that day will look like as Bill
Barr comes through the court, you know, all the criticism of Donald Trump, all the attacks
on his weight, all the attacks on Bill Barr's being feckless or not having a brass ones
or whatever, all the thing, all the nicknames
that Donald Trump has pinned on him all fall by the wayside in front of a jury that's,
that's just riveted by the former attorney general for the United States testifying
at length against Donald Trump and that he was a madman that tried to cling to power.
Jeffrey Rosen, same thing that he, he and Richard Donnelly were going to quit if Donald Trump executed his plan and his idea to seize voting machines and to weaponize the Department of Justice and claim that there that there was outcome coffee, not negotiable, but I was tired of either waiting in line for an overpriced cup

They'll also criticize Jeffrey Clark.
They'll also testify about the role of Mark Meadows
in all of this, including the Georgia election interference,
which is the reason Mark Meadows is still being prosecuted
and won't get a plea deal from Fony Willis, even
though he's cooperating with the Department of Justice is because she has Fony Willis
that district attorney in her toolbox has more evidence of the connects Mark Meadows
to Georgia, which is the focus of her prosecution, which is different than the DC election
interference case for Jack Smith.
Let's turn now to Cassidy Hutchinson. Cassidy
Hutchinson, we know from prior reporting on legal AF and on hot takes like this one that
she's been cooperating with Jack Smith for over a year. She's been cooperating with the
Georgia prosecutors for probably the last six months. She's testified before grand
juries against Mark Meadows against
Donald Trump against Jeff Clark and the other undited co-conspirators, Sydney Powell being
among them.
She was a gatekeeper at the time of Jan 6 and leading up to Jan 6 for Mark Meadows.
She observed Mark Meadows burning documents in his office instead of preserving them as evidence.
In other words, destroying evidence.
She was a fly on the wall and overheard the president on numerous occasions, acknowledge
that he knew he lost the election.
She was there for and will testify as she did at the Gen 6 committee about Donald Trump trying to commandeer the secret service vehicle
to take him and lunge for the steering wheel to take him to the Capitol to help lead the
charge against the cradle of our democracy and the attack on the Capitol.
She will testify about Donald Trump telling his secret service to drop the magnetometers.
She didn't care if all of these people that were coming to listen to his speech had weapons
because they didn't have weapons to try to kill him.
And then he pointed that weaponized group directly at the Capitol and said, I'll see
you there.
She is going to testify about all of that and the hopes and dreams and secret comments
of Mark Meadows that they will there, therefore use against him in the case in the in the conspiracy
case, which also helps the overall case of conspiracy against Donald Trump. So that's
Cassidy Hutchinson. Steve Bannon was in the war room with Mike with Michael Flynn, with Mike Flynn and others trying to plan in real time
the Jan five and Jan sixth insurrection and leading up to it at the Willard hotel. Steve
Bannon is in the room directing traffic, making decisions, coordinating with the campaign,
with the lawyers for Donald Trump, like Rudy Giuliani and Sydney Powell and others. And Donald Trump himself, through Mark Meadows, what's going on and how Jan 6th and the rioting
at Jan 6th would be used to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
Steve Bannon already a convicted felon to counts of obstruction of Congress awaiting a sentencing
after appeal to go to jail. So we have the Department of Justice,
the Republican Trump picked Department of Justice and what they did to tell or speak truth to
power and stand up to Donald Trump. We've got Steve Bannon, who's already, who's credibility is
already tremendously compromised by being a convicted felon himself,
which the jury of course will know about. Cassidy Hutchinson and her courageousness
reflected in her memoir about things that happened to her as she was a witness for history.
And she'll testify against Mark Meadows and Donald Trump and Jeffrey Clark and the rest.
And this is just a just the tip of the ice
perk of Fannie Willis' witness list. Many of them, I'm sure, are surprised.
For some reason, Mike Pence was surprised as I reported earlier in this hot
take that he would be a witness. This is how Fannie Willis is loaded for bear to
take down Donald Trump. You don't take on and indict a former president as she did.
If you're not ready to try your case and you don't have the goods and what we're listening
to and watching in court appearances in filings in motion practice before judge McAfee,
including her arrival to try aspects of the pre hearing, uh, pre-trial hearings already is we're watching a masterful performance
by the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.
If anybody didn't think they were ready for prime time, and there's some backwater prosecutors
office wake up, wake up.
She didn't bring a sprawling Rico indictment, 13 counts against Donald Trump, including
involving the battleground state conduct. If she wasn't ready, she counts against Donald Trump, including involving the battleground
state conduct, if she wasn't ready.
She's, you know, she's not going to shirk her responsibility.
She's not afraid, despite having death threats against her.
It's requiring the use of bulletproof vests and armed guards around her and her staff.
She's not going to be deterred.
She was elected to be the prosecutor for Fulton County, the people of her staff, she's not going to be deterred. She was elected to be the
prosecutor for Fulton County, the people of Georgia. And she's doing just that. Right. And she's not
showing up, you know, to a gunfight with a knife. She's got what she needs to convict Donald Trump.
And that's what we're watching day in and day out, including with the revelations about this
witness list. We'll continue to follow what is happening in Georgia.
It's important.
It's not just what's happening in the District of Columbia in the Tanya, Chutkin, presided
over case that's going to trial in March.
It's not just what's happening in Mar-a-Lago, in the hand-to-hand combat there in Florida
with the Department of Justice for the espionage and obstruction case related to the documents
at Mar-a-Lago.
It's not just about the Stormy Daniels hush money cover up business record fraud case in
state court in New York, led by the Manhattan DA's office.
It's not just about the civil cases against Donald Trump brought by E. Jean Carroll in
another defamation punitive damage case to be tried in January on the amount of
damages that he owes E. Jean Carol for having raped her as adjudicated by a jury in New
York.
It's not just about attempts in Colorado and in other states to take Donald Trump off
the ballot because of the 14th Amendment Section 3 disqualification clause.
It's all of what we're describing. It is all the cases, civil and criminal as we watch a justice system struggle to control
and discipline and bring justice because of Donald Trump's conduct, civil, wrongful,
criminal conduct.
And as they try to map rules, procedure, law of state and federal courts, criminal and
civil courts using plaintiffs as
well, trying to get their redress for what happened to them.
And having all these issues of immunity be resolved by the appellate courts in favor of
justice and against Donald Trump, we're following it right here.
It's all important.
And that's why we found it a show called legal AF on the Midas Touch Network. It's
the only place we do it exclusively there. One place might as touch network Wednesday nights and
Saturday nights at 8 p.m. You can join me and my colleagues Ben, my cellus, Karen Friedman,
