This is Michael Popoq, Legal AF. Rudy Giuliani is busted. It's a Michael Popok legal AF Rudy Giuliani is busted.
He's blown through $100 million in wealth.
He can't get another job.
He won't get another client as a consultant, a lobbyist or a lawyer.
He's been indicted for 13 counts of a criminal conspiracy in Georgia.
He's got a default judgment against him for Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss for a federal defamation case with punitive damages in the mix
He's been sued by Hunter Biden related to the manipulation of a laptop and the
False creation of purported evidence against him. He's being sued by a former
Personal assistant of his for sexual abuse and she, he basically made her a sex slave.
And I could go on. However, I won't accept to say the things have turned so bad that now he's
got to sell his last remaining pieces of property, just to pay his bills. Apparently the bed minister
fund raiser, that sounds fun, by Donald Trump on his
behalf, with $100,000 a plate. That's not enough to fill this hole. This hole in his finances
is so great. It's now resulted in an over $550,000 tax lien, because that's what he owes
as of right now to the federal government and the internal revenue service. We reported on legal AF and hot takes just like this one that his woes have gotten so bad
that even his former best friend and his subordinate who worked for him under him in the
Southern District of New York prosecutor's office, Bob Castello, who works at a law firm in
town that I know well, I've actually litigated against them myself, is owed $1.4 million in attorney's fees to the point where
his former best friend, it's like, it's like when your best friend, the dog, suzue, in
court, like if the Labrador suzue, that's Bob Castello suing Rudy Giuliani for unpaid legal
fees.
I'm sure the law firm had enough.
I mean, Bob's not on his own.
He works with other partners. They're probably like, what is this giant accounts receivable on our books for $1.4 million?
How is that going to get paid?
Now, some people might be saying, well, didn't I see clips of Rudy Giuliani flying into
Fulton County, Georgia to post $150,000 bail and he flew in on a private jet?
Yes, you did. The bail was probably about 15,000 cash
because it's a 10% bond, but you know, he got some sucker to fly him in on a private jet.
Now, the judge in, talking about his finances, the judge in a federal court in the District of Columbia,
Judge Barrel Howell used to be the chief judge who's presiding over his civil fraud and defamation case
has already entered a default judgment in favor of Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss to Fulton County election workers
basically saying that it's
matter of law and my sanction that they have won their case and only thing that a jury has to do in a few months is
Decide how big of a check Rudy Giuliani is going to pay and as part of that to make sure there isn't enough money to pay that very large tens of millions of
dollar punishment, judgment, punitive damages, the judges also asked that he turn over now that he's
been found liable to the other side, all the information about his podcast where he makes his
revenue from books that he writes, radio shows, how many clicks they get, what kind of advertisers they get, what's the revenue
from these things? How does he make his money? He's not making his money with any clients.
I will assure you that there is not a client out there that Tyree Rudy Giuliani represent
him. Donald Trump has effectively fired Rudy Giuliani and his, as the New York Times
has reported it just last week from page, a major drinking problem that has only gotten worse.
Their, their words not mine.
Although I have seen Rudy Giuliani at cigar bars around New York, I'll leave it at that.
And witnesses that have testified and supported the reporting the New York Times about Rudy's
drinking problem.
And then it is negatively impacted his ability to provide cogent advice to clients like Donald Trump. Sometimes the
guy but dials people. We've got reporting about that slurs his words that we've got testimony
about that in the Georgia election interference case and the like. So it is hit. So I'm not
rock bottom yet. We're getting there. We'll keep reporting on it.
We'll let you know when he hits rock bottom. And even when he hits rock bottom, he's going to start to dig.
But we're not there yet. We're hurtling quickly. We're now hitting probably the one floor up from
ground. And now he's got a $550,000 tax lien problem. And they put that lien on a condominium
and that condominium for Rudy Giuliani exists where
three miles from Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
I'm sure Shurt Donald Trump told him to buy it.
It's way over his head what he could afford.
It's worth maybe three and a half to four million dollars.
I mean, if Donald Trump was appraising it, it would be worth a hundred billion dollars
because Rudy Giuliani lived in it.
But in the market, it's three and a half million dollars.
And the IRS says, me first, if you ever sell that, they may force him to sell it.
But for right now, it's a lean federal tax, we got a photo of it.
And then the federal tax, the thing says to the world, into the title companies, you sell
this property, get sold, we get pay first.
We're first first, five, 50 plus interest running goes to us.
And they could also force him to sell it at a share of sale.
And that's coming next, and he doesn't resolve these matters. With my active recording schedule
and law practice, I can't function without a great night's sleep. And the bed's temperature
in my old bed always seemed wrong. It was either too hot or too cold, but never just right,
making for a terrible night's sleep. But I'm so excited to say that this episode is brought to you
by 8th sleep. There's nothing worse than tossing, turning, or sweating in the night because you're
uncomfortably hot or cold.
The pod cover by 8-Sleep will keep you cool all night, all the way down to 55 degrees
if you want to, or make you feel warmer for the fall and winter months.

The pod cover will improve your sleep by automatically adjusting the temperature on each side of the bed

I love 8 sleep.
Look, we spent almost half our lives in bed, so improving our sleep routine habits and
overall sleep quality should be a priority for everyone.
I love the temperature control, and that both my wife and I can set our side to each of
our likings.
I also love the gentle vibrating alarm option for each morning.
I wake up feeling refreshed after a great night's sleep, allowing
me to start the day off right. 8-Sleep's technology is incredible. While temperature is
the biggest game changer, the pod cover has other amazing features. For example, thanks
to the pod's sleep and health tracking, you can wake up to a personalized sleep report

night exercise or that cup of caffeinated tea or coffee can impact your sleep in overall
health.

So he's got the $1.36 million owed to Rob Castello, Bob Castello's lawyer.
He's got the $550,000 IRS lien. He's got a piece of property in New York on the upper east side.
He's trying to sell for $6 million. Good luck. I don't know if I'd want to buy Rudy Giuliani's
house. I think it has a negative asset value or negative brand value because if it's associated
with Rudy, and then he's trying to sell this or will sell this $3.5 million condo down
in the aisle of Palm Beach on the beach.
And we have a picture of it there in Florida.
And so why am I reporting on all this?
Come on, Popuck.
Don't kick him in when he's down.
Don't kick a coup, coup, co-conspirator, co-captain of team crazy. That wasn't easy to get out. Oh, while he's down,
why not? I mean, we're all about transparency. We're all about not blowing smoke or sunshine
and calling it the way we see it. And that's what we do in the Midas Touch Network. That's what we
do on legal AF. And that's what I do on these hot takes. If something turned out positive for Rudy Giuliani, like he got absolved of all of his,
you know, 13 counts of criminal felonies against him in Georgia.
And soon to be won,
so I'm sure with Jack Smith up in the DC Circuit Court,
I would report it.
I would be here saying Rudy Giuliani was acquitted today
by a jury of his crimes in Georgia.
I would report it.
But until then, based on the weight of the evidence, as I observe it, as a 32-year trial lawyer,
I'm calling it the way I see it, I'm bringing it to you so you can debate these things.
He's going to go on his podcast, and he's going to push back against the reporting,
and that he's busted, and that he's on the balls of his
ass financially and he's gonna have an explanation why he doesn't really owe Bob Castello who by the way was the lawyer for Steve
Bannon at one point and was the lawyer for Michael Cohen back in the day why he doesn't owe the money I think he said he's
overbilled overbilling that doesn't work when you actually send the bills to a client and he doesn't object
to them. He'll have an excuse why it was the $550,000. He'll blame his ex-wife. He likes
to do that. He couldn't pay his taxes last time because his wife held up his bank accounts.
He couldn't produce the documents in the defamation case because the federal government did a
dawn raid on his apartment two years ago. If you remember that two April's ago and grabbed 17
of his electronic devices because they were trying
to decide whether he was an unregistered foreign agent
in Ukraine or not.
Remember that?
And we reported, there's an example.
We reported on the Midest Dutch network
when they elected not, they declined to prosecute that case.
And they gave him a letter.
The prosecutors in the Southern District of New York where he used to beute that case. And they gave him a letter, the prosecutors
in the Southern District of New York
where he used to be the US attorney.
They finally said, yeah, we're not gonna prosecute you for that.
And we reported on it.
So I know some people like to criticize,
like, oh, you know, we talk about Trump, we don't.
We talk about things that matter
at the intersection of law and politics and justice.
And just because it often involves in some way way Trump, an affiliate of Trump, an
acolyte of Trump, a bootlicker of Trump, a child of Trump, a lawyer of Trump, an advisor
of Trump doesn't mean that we're only focused on Trump, we're focused on justice, we're
focused on progressive democratic analysis.
Right? As we sit here with my experience, that's what I'm bringing. Some people say, well,
it looks like you just, you just got reports from mainstream media. Why do you keep bashing mainstream
media? I'm not bashing mainstream media in terms of their investigative reporting. We're bashing
them for not going far enough and not doing what we do here on the Midest Dutch network and on legal AF.
It's okay.
We'll do it.
I used to say, wow, I wish they did it.
Our audience is now big enough because of you because we're about to hit two million
free subscribers on YouTube that they can keep their lane and we'll do our lane.
And our lane is to break down, catch the new story, look at it from a legal and political perspective,
analyze it with our legal experience, explode it, put it back together for you in an entertaining
way right here without being patronizing, right?
Without talking down to our audience about law and politics, we know not everyone's a lawyer
or a law student or a lawyer want to be.
We know that and that's okay.
My job is to explain it to you in a
way that you have the facts that you need with my analysis, armed to have your conversations on
social media around the dinner table, on the soapbox, wherever you want to be, or just privately,
for yourself to know what's going on without having a spin or a half report that doesn't go all the way, right?
Or misrepresent the headline
because they, their reporters,
aren't lawyers and trial lawyers
that really have it on the tip of their tongue
and on the finger tips like we do.
And that's why we're doing it here.
