Massenomics Podcast - Ep. 11: Squat Every Day with Ross Taylor
Episode Date: June 19, 2016Squat Every Day.. It's something we've heard a lot about lately, but none of us have actually tried it. A few weeks ago, Massenomics OG Ross Taylor embarked upon a high-frequency squat program, so we... brought him on the podcast so he could fill us in on what the program looks like, how he's handling the frequency, and if he thinks this is the key to massive squat gains. Give it a listen... All right, everybody.
We are live here in Massanomics studio.
I'm Tyler.
Next to me is Tanner.
Hey, everybody.
Across the way is Tommy.
What's up?
And to my right, we have special guest, Ross Taylor.
How's it going?
It's going good.
So, Ross, welcome to the studio.
This is our first actual in-room guest. We had Professor Shanz on last week via the internet, and it's a lot better having somebody in person,
no offense.
Yeah, it's pretty official.
Is this what the studio, what you expected it would look like?
Kind of like a little super training.
The red carpet was out, showed up in a limo.
Very welcoming.
carpet was out showed up in a limo very welcoming so we brought ross on today to talk to him ross started a um we'll call it uh we'll call it a kind of a squat every day program sort of or at least a
what do you call it a high frequency squatting program um we talked was a couple weeks ago we
talked about that and uh you know it's something that's been more and more popular and more and more talked about lately um you want to tell us ross as far as maybe just what like what the
makeup of your program is like what's it look like this week and we'll just kind of see sure
so i'm sure we got we'll have a lot of questions for what that's like you know when did you when
did you start on this um how long does it go that type of stuff sure i guess what it is it's a you know a monday
through saturday with an optional sunday but it's been optional for me to take it off i'm not gonna
so you have been going six days i've been going going six days um and what it is is like it's a
program by brandon lilly and he had to have he had to have a surgery or something like
that didn't he yeah knee surgery yeah and he was getting back into it and i was just kind of
following on his instagram or whatever and he put this together so i was like well i mean my squat
sucks i was like can't hurt you know so i've been doing it and um it's not every day like heavy
he said you're supposed to knock your training max back 10%. So roughly I put it to like 405.
Some days is high bar, pause squats with 55%.
And then like yesterday I had Tanner spot me.
I had to do like, what was it, 415 for a double and then do a set of 20 reppers.
So I guess I should have brought it with me so I could explain it a little more.
But it's just lower percentages with two really heavy days.
So one with 102% of your training max and the other with 103%.
So I did see the video of the 20 rep set.
Yeah.
How fucking awful is that?
It's bad, but since squatting all that, like there's times where I'll do 10 sets of three or like, you know sets of six on some days and my form has been getting so much better i feel so and i've been
getting used to doing some of that so it isn't too terrible but i have to do them 20 reppers at the
very end of my workout otherwise it'll it'll ruin like my bench and everything like that i'll just
feel like shit and then i won't be able to go yeah that looks like a like a soul stealer you know what i mean yeah really 20 of anything sucks that's i was gonna say if you just have the bar
it's kind of a workout to do 20 and then you look at that video and it's just 225 on there but it's
like man that sucks still you know that's well i mean get up out of your chair 20 times in a row
you know that's not you're not gonna be like you know excited that you did it. That's for sure. No, for sure.
It's just annoying at that point.
Right?
You're like, are you kidding me?
Five more?
So when did you start this program?
I started two weeks ago.
Okay.
How did you feel, let's say, midway through or towards the end of that first week?
Were you going, oh going oh shit what did i
do yeah i've i've thought that about every day because there's times where i i get out of bed
and i'm like there is literally no way i'm gonna be able to squat today i was like i couldn't i
can have a hard time getting out of bed or walking up the stairs just from just from soreness yeah
and it's you know some days aren't even heavy but it's just you know repetitiveness of doing it day
in and day out and then i get to the gym and I do the hip circle. I do all that. And I can finally
feel good enough to just do my squat sets right before you do it. Yeah. Yeah. That that's a
feeling I know a lot. Uh, when I first started with the CrossFit thing, I never really squatted
before. So I was just sore all the time. And so it did. It felt like I felt good right before I would work out,
and then I felt awful for the next 23 hours.
Yeah.
And then just feel good enough to redo it again.
Yeah.
Do you feel like you're getting more used to that fatigue?
I do.
I think this week will be a lot better.
But that first week, I really was wondering if I wanted to continue.
I was texting back and forth to Tanner.
I was like, this is maybe not a good idea.
What's the – you said you get sore.
Like, is it your hammies or your glutes?
It's been more along the lines of just my lower back.
So I've had to – in my shoulders from trying to do low bar.
And so I've been doing more high bar.
And just pretty much everything is sore.
Yeah.
Do you – for the high bar, low bar thing, does he recommend the lighter weights you do high bar and just pretty much everything is sore. Yeah. Do you, uh, for the high bar, low bar thing,
does he recommend that the lighter weights you do high bar or do you just, do you do that?
Well, I mean, you put on it. I think he does a lot, a lot of high bar anyway, but, uh, I have
to do high bar just to give my shoulders a break for everything. Cause if you were low bar squatting
every day, and it's kind of the reason why i started this program like my i've been battling with my squat forever and it's not necessarily because my legs are weak it's because
i have had bad elbows i've not been able to go over like four plates you know in training and
that's kind of why i haven't did these last powerlifting meets because i didn't want to go
in there and not be able to do my best and you know just do four plates not be able to do it
and one day down at the dungeon i was just like this is bullshit i was like i was like i should be able to lift heavy it was after another
bad work uh squat workout not being able to go heavy so i texted tana and i was like i'm coming
in on saturday and i was like i'm just gonna you know ask you have you or ask you some questions
and he went and kind of seen how i set up and then just a little tiny bit of going out further
and holding the bar different going like a thumbless grip a little bit wider changed everything
yeah so that's kind of why me and ryan anderson call him the louis simmons
i owe him a lot for that it kind of you know rejuvenated me in squatting yeah but i suppose
too you know you get to where you're just super frustrated with it and you're just like
fuck this now leg day we're not doing that with it. I was. And you're just like, fuck this now.
Leg day.
We're not doing it anymore.
I mean, just squatting sucks for everybody, but it really pissed me off because I wanted to go heavy.
I wanted to do it, and you just couldn't do it.
Wild.
Wild.
So after the first week, you were on the verge of being done.
Pretty close.
So we're only really a week removed from that moment
i suppose but have you said things have been kind of lying a little better they feel like they've
been better like uh like my heavy heavy squats you know when i've do 415 or 410 for doubles
after my prior five or previous five days of squatting like i felt like that went pretty
good yesterday i mean they felt heavy and they felt slow to me but you know tanner said they looked all right so yeah yeah i feel i feel like it's getting better
yeah it looks like your form is form getting better like even just in from watching that
set it seemed like it was better than the last time just for me squatting all week and just
doing it you just you just can't help but get better at it yeah and i feel like squats one
of those things too where it helps to have someone record it because in your mind it's never like super
comfortable and it feels a lot of times feel slow but then the moment you start watching you think
oh that's actually not too bad if i was watching that guy do it i would think he's fine with that
for sure and especially when you get heavy because when you get heavy you're you're you
don't have a lot of information your nervous system is just going oh shit oh shit oh shit you know you're not responding like you know are my are my hips
just a little too far forward right now or you know like you know it's really your brain your
body is just panicking at that point when things are heavy so that's i suppose you know just muscle
movement or uh what am i looking for like body mechanics just yeah they're better than us at
doing it i think has been helping yeah Yeah, because you're hitting those positions maybe not under a maximal load
and you're hitting them really as often as you possibly can.
Yeah, and I think like that sub-maximal style training like on, you know,
four of them days where you can strictly work on your form
and have that actually go through your mind is definitely helping.
Yeah, that's pretty cool.
That's really cool
i um there's a video on youtube i actually i just watched it yesterday it's a omar isa video on on
squat every day and if you want to check it out check it out but they had a guy in there and they
did a study about the their it's basically the same version like the bulgarian squat method and
it was basically squatting every day and it was really, really high volume. I think what they did was every day they'd build to like a five rep max
and then do drop sets from there.
It was every day.
Things were stupid heavy and it was all the time.
But they took, I want to say it was like 35 or 40 high level experienced lifters
and they said over the course of like 40 days,
the range of improvement to their max level squat was between
five and eleven percent of their of their one rep max which is huge if you're you know if you're an
experienced lifter and you can get eight nine percent in in 40 days that's it's a huge deal
for sure but the one thing they said and i'm and i'm sure this is is this probably part of your
plan is that you know it's not something you can do forever.
No.
What I kind of was talking to Tanner about is I was maybe going to try to do it
for two solid months because I don't think a month you can probably figure that out.
Not enough time to tell.
Yeah.
I wouldn't be able to tell if I got anything out of it.
But I think in two months I should be able to figure out.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that's the one interesting thing about it is that you can get –
you can cover a lot of that ground.
You can get your body into a shape where you're able to adapt to that volume,
which is really good.
You kind of correct a lot of movement.
And then from there, you know, then the world's your oyster.
You can go back to – I mean, you'll be killing it
if you're squatting once, twice a week, you know.
I'm hoping so.
So do you feel like with all this extra squat volume is it affecting your other lifts anyway
is it making it tougher to get through those other workouts that first week i did it after i did my
heavy doubles on that first day i did my 20 rep squats right after and that affected my bench
because i felt so shitty and so tired that I didn't want to do anything else.
And yeah, I didn't feel strong.
So now I'm doing them.
The last thing I do is I walk out the door.
I'm doing my 20 ruppers.
Yikes.
So how many, for people that don't know,
how many days a week do you bench and deadlift now and, you know, do that stuff?
Well, it's kind of similar, you know, to what, you know,
everybody in the gym's doing where, you know,
you have your heavy five by threes, five by fives, and then, you know, a you know everybody in the gym's doing where you know you have your heavy five by threes five by fives and then you know a speed bench later in the week and then
i try to do you know the same two sets of five on deadlift and then a deadlift variation too
wild so so you're really you're not dialing back any of your other other training i would say that
i'm probably doing a little less assistant stuff like i haven't really messed around a lot with the dumbbells like for maybe
my other back exercise i'll do barbell rows or pull-ups i'll do the reverse hyper and glute
ham raise but i really don't do a whole lot else because you're just smoked yeah yeah i could see
that yeah it kind of tommy i think you've mentioned this before, that it makes sense.
Like some of the more elite level power lifters, that's how they treat it too.
They'll focus on one of the three lifts for a certain period of time.
I mean, you're still, you're not completely ignoring the other two, but.
And that's just what I've heard.
You know, I can't, I can't.
But it, it, it makes sense, you know, that you could really progress on one for over a certain period of time.
And then, you know, you just know the other two are going to suffer.
But if you can build up one, maybe you can keep it staying there and going to your other ones.
Or even just maintain on the other ones while you're really focusing or going all in on that one.
I mean, getting stronger on squat, I don't feel like...
It shouldn't help at all.
If you can squat more how much
in the long run is that going to hurt your bench or yeah yeah squat is one of those things that if
you really are adding actual weight onto your percentages there that it really should just
at the bare minimum keep everything where it's at if not just bring everything else up with it for
sure yep have you felt then now you mentioned that you know you pretty much feel like shit
until you get warmed up you know have you have you had to take quite a bit of extra time as far as in getting loose
getting warmed up i mean it usually takes me a good 20 minutes anyway to get ready for squats
between you know just using the hip circle and then having to use bands to get my shoulders ready
i mean so i don't take much longer than that but usually that hip circle works pretty
well do you do do you do what i do where you get done you have one entire day where you feel like
shit and then you go to the gym and you get warmed up and you say i'm gonna really stretch after this
session i'm gonna go home i'm gonna get loose i'm gonna so tomorrow's not gonna be like today was
and then not do it i don't really do much for stretching really i mean just a little bit of mobility work but yeah
that always sounds like a good idea when you're hurting yeah yeah like if i'm at work and i'm and
i i think man i gotta if i was at home right now or when i get home i am i am really gonna be
stretching and i never do so well that's good man so we're gonna we're gonna want to uh probably
check back in with you here when you get done,
especially when we've got some real numbers too.
For sure.
We'll be able to see what your single rep maxes are
and then how some of your, especially doing a lot of that higher volume,
how some of those actual multi-rep maxes look.
You bet.
So you're looking at eight weeks.
You plan on doing this six to eight weeks?
Yeah, roughly around there.
So we'll be checking back in with you here probably in a month, month and a half,
and look forward to hearing how that goes.
Hopefully it's not like the way I told you guys I started that Olympic weightlifting program,
and I felt the same way you did after two weeks, And then I stopped it because I fucking could not do it.
I didn't enjoy it either.
It kind of sucked because I, you know, that's probably like my favorite part of CrossFit is the Olympic weightlifting.
So I thought I'll definitely give this more time.
So I did it.
I tried it.
It beat the hell out of me.
I felt like shit and I didn't have fun doing it, you know, because then I was having to do it by myself.
Well, that's the deal.
Like with this whole thing, I I didn't have fun doing it because then I was having to do it by myself. Well, that's the deal.
With this whole thing, I still want to have fun lifting.
That's why I don't want to do it very long because there's days in the gym where you're like, I don't want to do this.
But if I can make it halfway through, I think I'll be able to finish it. And that's exactly what I felt with that.
It just wasn't fucking fun.
Every day, I'd go in there by by myself and everybody else is doing their thing
and i i have to be just off in the corner and it fucking is hard and you know and and i just i
wasn't bouncing back and i i think what i probably should have done i just didn't want to admit it
is that i probably should have signed up for the master's programming but that's for ages 35 on up
and i'm only 32 so i just i refuse i refuse to own that so it was for me i probably
should have either started there or like eased it in maybe done three days a week instead of five to
six for sure um i still probably plan on doing that competition here in july i'm just i just
can't give the training five days a week and nothing else because i just isn't any fun and
that's i think that's an important
thing too is you know if you were doing it and it was just making you miserable and you hated it
you know there's yeah it's like what are you gonna waste your free time doing something that
exactly it's like a chore at that point exactly yeah it's a guy's choice to go do that yeah there
has to be some element and there's really no there's really no reward other than your own
personal satisfaction so when you take that away you've just taken everything from it at that point.
Yeah, definitely, definitely.
Well, good.
So I really look forward to hearing about that because you're the only person I know personally that will be doing kind of a cycle of that.
Yeah, it worked out perfect.
We had talked about it on the episode a couple weeks ago, and we all said, oh, none of us.
Yeah, yeah.
And then like a day later, I think Ross texted me,
and he's like, oh, I think I'm going to do this.
And I was like, oh, here we go.
We hadn't even released that episode yet.
So, yeah, that'll be cool to hear.
So we had some other news here in the world of massonomics this week.
We took over the internet which was pretty
sweet we had uh i think the first one we had was uh brandon the very the very first thing was the
the shoulder rock yeah that was before yeah you want to tell us about that yeah as we get well
first of all we got a shoulder rock in the gym which was kind of is kind of cool it's a specialty
piece of equipment if you don't know what it is, Instagram it or YouTube it.
Chris Duffin is the inventor of that, and it's a tool.
It's a mace is essentially what it is.
It's a variable weight mace where you can put different weights on there,
and you rotate it over your head or behind your back or spin it around.
There's a number of exercises.
Yeah, yeah, and he's kind of the master of that.
And I put a video on there the first day where I was just messing around
trying it.
And this is on Instagram.
Yeah, on Instagram, on Massanomics Instagram.
And Chris saw it and commented on there and kind of gave me some pointers,
which was kind of cool.
He said you needed to put a little more weight on there.
Yeah, he's like, quit being a puss.
It's a man's tool so so that was cool but to hear uh advice from the man that created the thing but uh because he commented on there i don't know
it blew up relatively for for my instagram and got about 30 times more views than an average video
and it's pretty cool what that would end up oh like 5500 i think so
and that usual video might have a couple hundred which as far as videos go it seems like one of
the more boring videos yeah it's actually terrible there's no wonder i'm back you just
and i'm doing it poorly as far as that's concerned so that was that was i guess the the first um
look into some some views views on a video.
And then the next one would be...
Tom Finn.
Would be Brandon taking the world by storm.
And if none of you guys know who Tom Finn is, you need to watch some of his videos.
Yeah, you need it.
And you'll see why Brandon likes him so much.
As a matter of fact, he was just on Mark Bell's podcast here, I think, this last week, too.
Yeah, he's a Taurus pack.
Taurus pack benching.
And then still benched, if I'm not mistaken.
Then he went and deadlifted the next day.
And I guess to explain the Tom Finn videos, there's a member of the gym, Brandon.
I happened to be at the gym that night.
It was a Friday.
And one of his favorite powerlifters is Tom Finn.
And Tom Finn is known for his antics in the gym. You could say he's drinking. Yeah, I don't think it's one of his favorite power lifters is tom finn and tom finn is known for
his antics in the drink you could say i drink it yeah i don't think it's one of brandon's favorite
yeah so tom finn he has a lot of videos of like bonging a beer while benching 500 pounds he's
he'll do a 700 pound deadlift in that lockout he'll people bored pouring beers down his throat
and he's just a lot of just dumb stuff the guy's always having a lot of fun but it's really over the top and brandon uh really related to that personality so it was in the gym
on a friday and he'd heard about tom finn getting hurt at super training and he wanted to pay a
little homage to him i think you could say so he had uh his uh tall tan can in the uh
and uh i wasn't quite sure what he's going with it right away but he said i'm
gonna i'm gonna do some squats and i'm gonna you know pay my respects to tom finn in this
and so we look over and he has uh he has ryan one of the other guys in the gym filming for him and
he uh takes a drink of his beer he kind of gives a little shout out to tom finn and does a set of
squats and you know we watched it was like four of us in there so it wasn't the most exciting day but you know we kind of gave him just gave
him some cheers and everything and he put the video on and what was it maybe not even 24 hours
later uh probably a day later yeah tom finn had reposted it a couple guys from south dakota i was
laughing so hard because i'm going to the bathroom checking instagram and i'm like oh it's brandon
i'm like wait a minute that's tom finn's account and i'm texting tanner bathroom checking instagram and i'm like oh it's brandon i'm like
wait a minute that's tom finn's account and i'm texting tanner right away he's like no read the
comments and i look at everyone else had already seen it but uh yeah it was pretty cool to see and
i think at this point what did we say about 45 000 views 40 000 views on there yeah and brandon's
world famous for his chugging beer and squatting capabilities. And his sweet mustache.
Yeah, if you didn't see the post, Tom Finn basically said that it really
motivates him to see people out in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota
giving him a shout out.
And then what's even better is when you go out to read the comments,
most of the things are commenting on Brandon's mustache.
And Tom did comment that he needs to get out.
In a couple of comments, he said that he needs to get out here and lift with us.
So if you're listening to this, Tom, you're more than welcome.
The best comment was the one you said.
Get as big as the buffaloes on this brewery and drunk as the skunks in our ditch.
Yeah, he didn't respond specifically to that one.
He did say he was down to come lift though.
So we got the unofficial.
I guess, you know, it kind of is an official in.
He did say he's in.
We just got to figure out how to make it happen.
Or he's got to have like another reason to come this far too.
Short of hunting, there really isn't anything here.
He's from Chicago, so it's not terribly far.
You really got gotta want it though
yes we get to show him
the gym and loggers
yeah
so
no but
so that was sweet
I saw that
I don't even remember
when I saw it
but it was same deal
I thought
wait a minute
this is Brandon's video
on Tom's account
but if you want to check it out
Tom's
well what's
do you guys know
what's offhand
what Brandon's Instagram is?
Coltrane something.
Here's what we're going to do.
I'm going to get you, I'll get you guys, what's Tom's?
Tom is at Huck Finn Barbell.
Yep.
Brandon's is Coltrane underscore 49.
Coltrane underscore 49.
Sorry, guys, we're having some microphone issues here tanner had a meltdown got wild and then
tom finn's is huck finn barbell right on so so that's where you can see and i do highly recommend
you follow both those guys but uh yeah tom finn does some pretty crazy shit so um what else
happened today we had or we had and then you had your little Facebook. Oh, yeah. So I had –
The most famous of all of them.
Probably, yeah.
Not to brag.
No, guys, but it totally was.
No, I had posted – this is about like 13 months after I got off my ass.
So I had posted my kind of before and after pictures on Facebook
and somehow CrossFit HQ got a hold of it and posted it on like their Instagram and their Facebook.
I didn't know that at all.
So, you know, my Facebook post has like, you know, there's like a hundred likes and there's a lot of nice support from people that I know.
And it was all well received and all that.
And it was great.
Yeah, Tyler's number one.
Great.
Thanks, Mom.
seeds and all that and it was it was great yeah tyler's number one great thanks mom and uh so i get and i i i me and my wife went to florida last weekend and uh so i'm on the plane
and i didn't know anything anything went on so as i land i have i turn my phone on and i'm walking
off the plane and you know it's pretty chaotic everybody's grabbing luggage and it's in a big
hurry but my phone is just going ding ding ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding and won't stop vibrating.
And it's vibrating the whole time I walk off the plane, the whole time I get onto the jetway, and the whole time out until I'm actually in the airport terminal.
And it's just vibrating constantly.
And I didn't know.
I thought my phone was – there was something wrong with it.
I finally – I get it out and I pull it out and there's like a you know i have like 175 notifications but that was all really fast because the the post had only happened like five minutes
sooner and so i i look at it and i got tagged in it and there was like you know like 900 views i'm
like no shit i refresh it and there's 1100 and i refresh it and there's 1,700. So it was really cool.
A lot of people were really nice, had a lot of nice things to say.
I got like probably maybe a couple hundred, 175, 200 private messages.
Most of them were nice.
Some were a little weird.
Were some weird?
No, none were too bad.
Nothing's weird for you anymore?
Some of you ladies were a
little forward and you too sir you know who you are i did i did also get accused of doing steroids
on three separate occasions throughout the dialogue there that's what i was gonna ask uh
usually on any video on facebook you come across that has a lot of exposure you'll see some like
mean comments or like some bad like was there like i've never never personally had one a big enough post there was a catch that there was only there was a few
there's one one one guy was like this was actually on the post i got a few private messages people
being dicks about it but um and i'll get into that in a minute it's like pretty awesome but
that's how you know you've made it there was one guy who's like yeah i'm probably
probably a little bit of steroids because look there's a you can see his nipples casting a
shadow on that second picture and i'm like i get that like having like gyno is a thing if you're
taking a lot of steroids you also take a lot of pride in your nipple i also i also tagged the
original picture hashtag dude nips so i so i know i got it up front but i did but i did tell that i did tell
one of the people that messaged me i said here's the deal i am in no way anti-steroids if you're
doing it responsibly but i can tell you for sure that i didn't take them solely because i don't
want to go talk to my doctor about them because i've known him since i was a kid and two there's
no way my wife would let me spend any money so i totally would if you got steroids send them my
way i'll gladly try them but i didn't at least not not to this date i haven't taken steroids so
people think you need steroids in order to get to lose weight yeah that's the thing too is it wasn't
like i got huge you know what i mean i lost 60 pounds of totally fat you can totally see that it was fat so yeah i don't know some people are dicks
but no for the most part everybody everybody was uh everybody was pretty nice and it was it was
pretty cool i think we ended up with like i don't know like 9 000 likes on facebook and 9 000 on
instagram and it got shared like three or four hundred times and
so it was pretty cool pretty cool little thing for a year of doing stuff but for sure so you
now really have to up the bar for a year too now I know I don't know what to do
it's actually a year two you're just a woman now
completed my transformation your two is just gonna be like my nose job before
or something
i uh no well actually and then when we were in florida we went down to uh it's crossfit gym
down there and they had you know a big saturday morning workout and i didn't tell them anything
about me getting posted on crossfit's hq hq stuff today before i didn't mention anything to anybody
just because you didn't want to intimidate everyone? Yeah.
Actually, that's what's funny.
Is that Rich Froning?
Is that I did get, you know, like they posted the deal,
but I'm not actually that good at CrossFit.
That's what's funny.
You know what I mean?
Like I still get smoked by people all the time.
But I'm definitely not good or even decent probably um but so then i but i was there down
at this gym there and they had you know toes to bar which i don't know if you know what that is
you hang from like the pull-up bar and you kind of swing your feet up and touch your toes the bar
and they had that in the workout i was like oh fuck well give this a try because our gym here
we can do it but i can't get all the way up because because my bars aren't tall enough for
me so i was like, well, fuck it.
I'm close, so I'll try it.
So I did it, and they ended up posting a video of me doing toes-to-bar.
He said they've had like 10,000 people come through their gym
and never had anybody this big do it.
They've had to do them before at 290 pounds.
So it was cool.
Shout out to CrossFit, Mousetrap, Free in Orlando, and Disney.
They're pretty cool people.
Pretty nice.
But yeah, that was a big week in Mastanomics.
I did get the Toast-A-Bar video was in rocking my Mastanomics tee too.
He didn't quite get right up in front with the video
to show it to the world.
But yeah, so that was pretty cool.
Capped off a pretty decent weekend.
My wife was a little bit
upset because we go on vacation to get away from my cell phone and all this stuff and literally
as soon as we land in florida it's like it's not like you can just not check out what's going on
exactly well and and the fact is you know things like that you know they only last a day or two
so it's like you know some of it some of the people did mean well and they requested some you know information or tips or this or that and you kind
of feel bad just leaving them hanging since those people are never going to ask me another question
ever again so you know i just try to get back to all of them so we i got through it all and didn't
get divorced which was cool my wife tolerated my cell phone use on vacation one time so um no it was it was a lot
of fun though so massonomics has owned the internet as far as we know at least last week yep was it
was there anything else i don't really think so those would be the ones that yeah just our normal
like awesome yeah normally all the great stuff that we do is still out there
brandon's just gonna keep working up to the next level brandon you're probably out there listening
but uh we we do know that that made your your year but we also want to intervene and say that
you probably shouldn't continue to try to up don't up yeah yeah you'll you'll lose a little
rivalry yeah so well good guys i think we've got was there anything else we needed to cover today
uh i i think uh with having any guests on we we've all done it before in a separate episode
you have to go through your gym uh your gym cred that's That's right. Whenever we have a guest on.
So you have to go
say your best.
What's your best lift?
What's your big threes?
And if they're not impressive

As long as you have an excuse.
