Hi friends, we're here to play a little one-shot that I have devised that we're just calling escape from wizard prison because you know why why why cloak it in the seek when I could just say exactly what it is yeah if you don't know we are made a roleplay which makes sense because this is our twitch channel so you should know that we are made a roleplay because that's what it says on the tin um I'm Allegra I'm gonna be running the game today for some reason this is terrifying but it's gonna be fun it's gonna be a good time a few little things before we start one I'm a pretty rules light DM and if that bothers you this may not be the game for you you may want to dip now because I will be pretty lenient and I will make sure

up on the fly and it's not going to really be that hardcore it's gonna be fun though so if you like fun this is it for you this is where you should be uh two I can't draw maps in real life so put me on a computer and I super can't draw maps so the maps are going to be ugly but functional and that's where we're at and so that should be just prepare yourselves for that we're really selling us here I'm trying to set realistic expectations for people and that's what's what I'm here to do the most realistic expectations should have been the moment they saw Aaron's fucking face that that is very true that's the truth my blanket fur where we stand um I ran this for my family a couple christmas ago uh but I've just made it

different and meaner because there's not a seven-year-old playing with us um so you don't know that for sure yes I do I'm positive none of you are seven uh and it's just it's just it's just good not clean but just fun uh last of all we're going to be running a few homebrew new things testing them out I know Eli's running a homebrew subclass um the whole world we're going to be in is something I've been building for a few years now um so yeah maybe nothing super recognizable but also new and fun yay yay um I don't think unless anyone else has anything to to throw in so it's cackling on Aaron's part I'm really hot already I'm gonna be shedding soon

all right so this game will take place in erudium hollow which is the arcane seat of our world it is a moderately sized city lying on the fighting line between the deep plains and the marsh of a jory mage towers dot the skyline most deep gray in color it is a city of serious focus and study there are only a few pubs scattered throughout the streets and libraries are nearly as abundant as the innumerable merchant shops in the center of the city set high up on the hill rest the two laurels the silver tongue academy the most prestigious schooling available for young arcanists as well as the council of enlightenment the city's leaders and some of the most powerful mages and wizards in the on the continents in erudium hollow divine magics are frowned upon

reliance upon another being for your abilities is seen as a weakness something to be exploited or even destroyed in the hands of the wrong sort of enemy only two of the 20 within the pantheon have a public foothold within the city small though it may be the holy nexus is a temple with a dual focus embrasa the eternal circle and syrenza the learned lady and stands at the eastern gate of the city its acolytes seek to find the secrets unlocked by syrenza millennia ago and often send scouting parties to the deep shrine desert to find her lost temple your return most acolytes that come out of the holy nex holy nexus are healers or knowledge seekers of one kind or another natural magics are looked upon as less than a reliance on something outside of oneself even

if it is existing in an abundant an abundance around them but they aren't seen as fickle at the whims of another being making them inherently safer and more consistent than the divine in the lower half of the city close to the barracks of arcane soldiers stands the highest spire of all stretching close to 500 feet into the sky stands the malifact sanctum smooth clay red stones spiral upwards in a cylinder there are no windows or visible doors on the inside are loosely connected pocket dimensions innumerable cell blocks six cells to a block are arranged and re-arranged once per week singly at random at random between the cell blocks pocket dimensions of traps tricks and dangers ensure that even even if the prisoners should escape their cells

the nearly inevitable maze of them within the sanctum walls and excuse me that even if the prisoners escape their cells the nearly unnavigable maze keeps them within the sanctum's walls until the guards are able to locate retrieve and reinstall the would-be escapees as prisons go it's not terrible there are pocket dimensions to simulate outdoors complete with arcane sunlight and the illusions of a breeze prisoners are sent to therapy twice a week and there's even a library socialation socialization is actually encouraged hoping to build empathy and goodwill between the prisoners before their sentences are up uh prisoners why don't you uh introduce yourselves and tell us why you're here we'll um we'll start with Eli

um my name is baba i am a i am a satyr um i stand about uh five six i have white whiteish horns dark brown hair and a slouchy beanie that goes with my slouchy ears um i have like uh like a Sasha wrap that kind of just like bunches up at like my knees and then like i have like whitish gray like godie bits and like uh feet uh horns and uh i'm in jail because i'm a bubbler bard and up in this place that's i guess frowned upon they don't like the the herbs i grow and the the vibes i keep and you know what am i supposed to do so i'm here chilling thank you baba um Kayla why don't you go next uh my name is tethris tethris nowhere um i am about dwarf size skinnier for a dwarf uh on the white side uh i'm wearing very regal clothes uh big fur collar and

they took away my crown but i came in with a crown uh very regal regal upbringing uh i have short hair that's been braided off to the sides and then sort of man bund in the back into a bigger bundle of braids and then a very nice braided beard with beads and all sorts of jewelry coming out of that um i've been sullen and quiet since they've allowed me into the the prison and i haven't made much for communication but when asked i'm usually a little standoffish uh i was put into this prison because i broke into the museum of arcane history uh in an attempt to steal the temporal lodestone and anyone around here may know that people who know of me call me the king of nowhere as a kia why don't you go ahead next uh okay um my character is lou gelda ire's

she is a affluent she is um short un stout has a long white hair like this and she has clown makeup on as you can see and she is in the clown mafia and she was arrested uh because she wanted to be arrested and uh the townsguard do not like when you draw a a black circle in the ground with black paint and then they fall through it like like it's not a real hold it it was a joke i thought it was funny but yes i was well they caught me for public miming i tried to get away by drawing circle and they got upset i've just been waiting to get out just i mean i play along but sorry did you make a clown sona i did i did make a clown sona yes oh no uh amazing uh erin go go go for it buddy

yeah those who call me sam how would i do you ask well you know these pesky human wizards you are a couple of people in suits and the next thing you know they're clapping you in irons how am i supposed to know what your laws are you're such a strange group of people uh one necklace be out of intestines person uh search search please uh please go ahead um hello my name is delphos uh

i'm a three foot tall halfling i have very wrinkly face you can barely see my eyes uh i am a divination wizard for the king and uh i'm on extended sabbatical uh as per the king's request uh that's why i'm in this spa thank you and last but not least amanda please uh please introduce yourself all right i'm sticks i come from let's just say my family has a specific lineage towards something very old that we don't like to say outside with outsiders and frankly uh i'm sorry i was like about five five five skinny uh very lengthy i will say right off the bat uh even though my record my paper show i stole mustangs but it was part i was a setup so my fucking piece of shit other person my family could take my spot but you know it's okay

because i'm gonna prove that i'm supposed to be leading that gang when i get out so this is basically a long long setup and it's just to prove my worth i didn't do it thank you yes thank you for sharing everyone thank you for being here uh welcome it is it is rare to find yourself in the same cell block with someone twice let alone six of the same sub ones in the same cell block twice it may not be fate but it certainly feels like an opportunity this is the sixth day you've been in this position and you know tomorrow you'll wake up in a new configuration so you're all on your way back from outdoor time you've been strung together by the rest in a daisy chain lugalda at the front and baba at the back usually you have two guards escorting you between cell blocks at all

times but today one of them has been called away to assist a different cell block in a uh an unfortunate incident between a human gentleman and an elven gentleman uh leading you with one guard to put you all back in your cells after after your time outside uh he's a tall elven man his name's uh jethro he's he's leading you all back to yourselves when he kind of pauses in the middle and puts his hand to his ear and you know that you know that the uh that the wizards of the the wizard guards around here all communicate the message spell and you can tell that he's he's getting a message he seems a little distracted uh and there's a ring of keys on his belt it's just got one key on it really uh but you do know that the keys are what kind of unlock there there's only one key within the

entire sanctum and it's it's used to unlock pretty much everything uh baba you've heard some horror stories from the old timers in cell blocks a few rotations back doors that aren't there monstrosities that draw from the ceiling caverns deeper than the tower is tall but they also told you that there is a room somewhere where all the items taken from you are held uh what would you like to do or would i know where that room would be are we on the same floor well the it's not so much a floor as everything's kind of a loosely connected pocket dimensions so there are um kind of like arcane hallways between things and sometimes they lead to the same place and sometimes they don't things are a little bit shifty in the in the sanctum okay so we're

clarifying are we all in the same cell or or separate you're in the same so there there's there are three cell blocks on each side sorry about that there's a hallway in the middle three cell blocks on each side and you're being led through the only door and as the door shuts it vanishes and there's one door at the far end that the the guard will leave through but there are three doors or three cells on either side none of us have been put in our cells yet we're still in that not yet he has entered right as you came in the hallway he got a message and he seems like distracted like he's listening to whatever one of the other guards is saying to him who's closest to the the guard in the daisy chain uh i believe that would be lukella yes okay yeah can i uh try to ear hustle

what's what he can hear at all um it's a it's a message spell so it kind of goes it goes uh brain brain you can try and listen to what he's what he's gonna he's saying in response yeah for sure goes brain brain goes brain brain yes uh go ahead and make me a perception check delphos is just in the background saying it's about time for my nap i'd really like to get to my cell that wasn't an eight an eight so he's he you know he he makes the arcane hand movements and you can't quite catch exactly what he's saying but it's something he sounds a little like frustrated he sounds um a little like even a little disappointed jethro's jethro's kind of like the senior the senior um guard between your two the two that have been watching you guys for

the week and he seems a little like put upon and frustrated and disappointed in whatever he's hearing what's our relationship with jethro's jethro's been good to us in the past yeah that's pretty cool jethro's been pretty chill uh he he's he's not he's not kind of like a power hungry guard he's he genuinely wants people to like get better and help them uh but he's not he's not a fool either i don't see about that um i may have something you say we came from the outside area yeah so you were you were in the outside you were in like the outside recreation area you came through the arcane hallway door disappeared behind you and could we say that it's very very uh like i could have taken some dirt

some sand something very small while we were walking back okay sure well he's not paying attention i'm going to go ahead and with that cut that against a little bit about my finger by my thumb and i'm going to flick it towards jethro and i'm going to go ahead and cast catnap oh is is is like sand or dirt the only component to that's uh just a pinch of sand amazing uh yes absolutely you can what uh what would you so basically i'm gonna make up with that little flick i'm gonna aim that for me just like uh just to hit him just at least get in that general direction and basically uh with that i can up to uh basically i'm going to go ahead with enraged they fall unconscious for the spells duration about 10 minutes it's it's just they know when

they wake up yeah that they've been affected but do i have a do i have a saving pair against it or anything like that let's see we need uh at a higher level we need cast a spell using i'm using this at like third level so i believe oh okay i've read this wrong never mind because it's up to three willing participants so maybe i shouldn't do that oh it's to help us sleep that's to help us sleep never mind i'm stupid well i'm gonna be stupid because i figured oh no i mean you might suddenly get sleepy you could take it you might get sleepy okay now can i roll for that then if it yeah go ahead and because i feel bad because i don't want to break the rules on that i just read it wrong that's me being stupid who can i make in our yeah what's up oh i was gonna ask if i can assist

and maybe get him get him sleepy maybe i fucked up how are you how are you trying to make him sleepy uh i just um i want to ask is um is everything all right you look uh you look stressed look tired uh yeah he turns he goes oh one second uh and he goes back but he he's he looks he seems kind of like heartened by the fact that you've checked in on him uh amanda yeah go ahead and make an arcana check uh that's making arcana check to see if you can make this work oh uh 14 yeah okay you kind of flick the sand at him and it kind of poofs into his eyes and you and he blinks really hard and he's kind of like wobbly is hold on hold on oh he's like trying to rub his eyes uh he seems even more disoriented now he's kind of like on the verge

of of sleep and i'll cast command command just command need any smell ah that's right we don't have a yeah all right then yes you say sleep uh what's what's the dc it's uh 16 does not make that and he drops i try to catch him by the way i'll try to yeah it's not a hard thing to catch get the keys get the key i will definitely message and you lay him down uh and do you grab the key yes i do great so uh so you and baba go for the key i'd like to imagine the delphos is standing next to uh tether is the dwarf and is like the the surface here is terrible they're just falling asleep this is awful no no you idiot they're getting us free we have to go if you're screaming like that all right so uh and there's three doors uh there's what they're

there they're the six cell doors and then there's one door at the far end that you assume he was going to go out of all right well doing this do you want to stay here no witnesses everywhere let's go let's go you're all a part of it we're going great so you all run through the door still daisy chained by the rest and you bust through into darkness and it feels like you've missed a step at the bottom of the of the stairs and it feels like you're falling for a couple seconds until you land hard in the room that you see before you uh giant chasm there is a giant chasm there's a 15 10 to 15 feet of solid ground before the bottom just drops out into utter darkness there is okay and it's it's wide it's probably about 90 feet wide

that's a problem that's a big problem you said it was like 15 feet uh yeah you have about 15 feet of solid ground before the 90 foot does anyone have any well something sharp or all together no that's not the way we do this dude can i jump through these things you want to you want to bite through the rope yeah i can shift uh you yeah you're you can definitely try does anyone anyone else have an idea to get the ropes off before i do that i've got it this whole time like delphos has been kind of like looking at everyone and looking at the expanse and he says you're here from the king you're here to save me aren't you i realize that you're uh i see you here to return me wonderful all right i'm not from the king i am the king

we have to go well can someone get all this rope off of us i thought you were looking on that well i i wanted to throw out ideas before i did it just jump jump all right i'll shift all right you're shifting i'm shifting all right what do you what do you look like when you okay so i'm going to i'm going to get a little bit larger to almost like five nine five ten you're gonna see definitely more fur come out my teeth deaf in my snout grow a little bit more vicious and basically i am like a werewolf that's what you guys are going to see like a werewolf oh shoot off shoot off shoot off and i'm just going to start gnawing on the ropes or the chains between us uh make me a strength check sure oh it's a good number it is 18 plus

oh 22 you chomp down on the rope holding you to to uh zerm and it hurts your teeth the rope looks it looks it looks like a regular hempen rope but as soon as you bite down there is some kind of arcane something or other stuck to that rope you're not biting through that are there rocks um like around us like loose papples or anything on the sides of this chasm oh yeah you could you could probably pretty easily find a couple of small rocks uh the rope has it's not a go ahead uh the rope has arcane uh properties to it yeah can i use distilled magic does that have somatic components i don't think so yeah maybe yeah i need your cast or as a your instrument as a verbal somatic that's it no material

components no material okay then yeah you can definitely try to cast dispel what level are you casting at third level third level roll me an uh an intelligence check in the meantime delphos is casting as a ritual detect magic sure uh that is a 18 an 18 you cast it and the the the light around the uh the rope glows and grows and grows until it looks like it almost shatters and the rope goes limp around your wrists see man you just gotta talk a little nice to the rope and it'll do whatever you need to do please i'm fucking begging you you're trying to shake it off just like that oh was that just it was just for my rope no that's it it's so everyone was connected by the same those massage bracelets were really

starting to wear on me it's best if you just don't try to engage him uh everyone go ahead and make me perception checks uh delphos while you're still uh you're doing a ritual cast that's a 20 oh nice which gives me a tail to love 14 24 14 14 two two ten for us 13 uh zerm you're really the only one that notices uh you look deep into the pit and it is you don't know how high up in the tower you are but it looks deeper than the tower is tall but the very bottom you see this tiny little curled almost lizard like figure and and it occurs to you that if you're seeing it from this far away it's gotta be pretty big

there's something down there waiting for us maybe it's all right out but we seem to need to make contact with it and all start walking towards the edge it's starting to shift a little bit and move as you're all yelling surge about this time you've probably finished your your your um the tech magic the tech magic yes um the rope does not glow anymore however the chasm in front of you is full of magic of some sort do you do you get to know the kind of magic that it is actually it's I think believe I believe usually yes uh then you would know it is illusory magic okay um um um Delphos is going to just walk over the edge

come along no time to waste and you step about four inches down and you're in the middle of the chasm but you're standing on solid ground wonderful wonderful just follow me we'll be out of here no time as you as you step into the little the chasm the tiny little red thing starts to it starts flying it starts getting bigger and bigger and bigger to about this size and it falls up into uh into your face Delphos and it looks like a little porcelain red dragon and it goes and blasts out a tiny bit of fire that's probably no more than a matchstick and kind of blows it in your face oh that's lovely it all patted on the head

smash it and it tries to bite at you no there's no chance of it doing any kind of damage it's gonna I'm gonna like pluck it out of the air and put it on my shoulder and come on you let's get out of here and you do it's pretty easy it's kind of like wait wait wait wait wait what if it's some type of surveillance device I think this is more like a chihuahua it's no match for you you gotta relax man but yeah you easily walk across through the chasm it's not a chasm it's just an illusion and you walk and you get to an illusion across the whole way is it like this big ice skating rink now or do we find pockets of it like can I start taking that rock I picked up off the ground

and tossing it to my left and seeing if it falls through or yeah we might find some pockets in the illusion yeah you keep throwing it clink throwing it clink you throw a little further it all seems pretty it seems pretty much the same size all across this must be the isolation room where you can meditate you know are you going across to the door are you oh yeah yeah yes to the door I'm gonna be like directly right behind Serge just in case yeah like following his exact footsteps wait may I may I ask something may I ask something quickly

who amongst us is the tourist but a most large individual the most generous the most the most with the most girth oh are you asking him some are you asking someone's fat I'm just asking who who do I see is the largest person in the party I mean Delphos is definitely plump but probably not as big as a giant wolf the giant wolf that is currently still in ship I am going to attempt to hide behind the large wolf region or yeah you hide behind you hide behind six as you go and you guys make your way up through the illusion no problems and to the door and as you step through the door through the familiar uh mist step feeling you find yourselves in another room there are how many braziers should I put in here one two three

and there are two doors it's a pretty standard stone room there's nothing in there just the just the eight torches and the two doors torches are lit the torches are lit you can see very easily can I go up to the nearest brazier I just want to inspect it and see if there are any inscriptions or anything under it sure make me for second check sure uh a four so not much no it looks looks like a pretty standard torch it's not it doesn't look very well looked after like people don't usually come through here it's a little dusty for some cobwebs is it like a sconce like a full-on torch plugged into the wall yes okay can I see if I can manipulate it in any direction sure make me a strength check

that one's a little better 16 you kind of tug it to one side tug it to the other side nothing back and forth back and forth it has a little give back and forth we suspect that's just because the wall's a little old and a little cracked okay I turn back to the group I say no traps here we're okay oh could I try something yeah please can I can I cast mage hen uh yeah it's a cantrip yeah for sure can I cast mage hen and can I just slowly like like drag the hand across the floor to just like see if like there's pressure points or it's going to trigger anything just ahead Indiana Jones nice pushing it seems fine it seems like a normal a normal just a just a room a room two doors

you might noticing in the ceilings like any holes for spikes to come out or any shit like that okay Delphos is just walking across the room 16 uh with a 16 looks like a flat plain ceiling nothing nothing too weird um like I said some cobwebs and dust nothing much um Delphos how close are you getting to that door I'm walking up to the door on the left and I'm going to see if I can open it as you reach for it uh I should have had this set up but I didn't uh what's your uh what's your armor class 14 14

one of these doors is bound to be in office we can talk to someone as as you get up to that left door it grows teeth leans forward and tries to take a trumpet you dip out of the way just in time oh it's not a door everyone it's some kind of animal as soon as as soon as it misses it sinks back into the wall and looks like a door again can we kill it go to the next one go to the next one yeah I'm just yeah I'm gonna go walk over to the next door but I'm gonna take my mage hand I'm gonna poke it poke the door just a door it's just a door and I'll go we should all still let Delphos try first just to be safe yes Delphos will try to open the door Delphos you open the door and you get sucked out into the darkness

and then suddenly it's just dropped back where you were at the beginning you are back by the original door with Zerm and Lugelda and Styx and Tethris well that was that dark lie back I'm sprinting into that door into the second door I don't think it's a speed problem use loot back like a mage's video game right back to where you started okay oh you all look very familiar but I think I'm in a different room I'm gonna just walk over to the other door um I'm going to walk up to the door that has teeth and I'm gonna cast friends on it and I'm gonna say could you move out of the way so I could see if there's something behind you little creature um okay I have it basically all friends gives me as advantage on any kind of perception or excuse me

persuasion checks so I'm just asking the door nicely to move out of the way sure um yeah roll roll me a persuasion check at a disadvantage but friends gives me advantage so it's just a straight roll yes straight sorry my bad 12 as you uh as you go up to it it's creepy blue tongue swings out and tries to take another crack at you whatever the roll is I'm going to use my divination portent and you roll a three great well it only rolled a four oh that's a risk you take all right all right he misses me even worse you you you light foot your

way out of the way oh you wildly little thing wait what if we all just stand on this side of the room and then poop the shit out of it I think it has something to do with these torches as in they're the only other things in this fucking room well what is it that you think that the torches do lose gonna use fire lose gonna use her hat to snuff out one of the torches just take it out and put it over one of them oh that's a nice hat that's what's on if now we extinguish all four torches and then we either get out of here or we can't see can I go and so brazier in between the two doors you inspecting it yeah I'm just looking for anything that might clue into something to do with these two doors roll me another perception check okay 18 18 you look underneath it and it looks

like someone ages ago scratched into the the stone with their nail through not might oh bugger what I'm sort of riddle I fucking hate through not might I mean anything I feel like that means we have to let the door eat us I don't like that idea at all I don't know I would have jumped to honestly suicide is not often the first option and we tested somehow Delphos uh Delphos is casting gusts on the door it has to make a strength saving throw or be pushed five feet in a direction that I you know opposite me so I'm just trying to like blow it out the way I think it's some kind of tall thin animal that is blocking the doorway did a strength saving throw strength saving throw the DC is 16

well with a natural one it for sure doesn't make that so you gust wind out from your palms and uh the door moves a little bit it it uh it eeks to the side and you can see the edge of a portal it looks like it's a probably like a 10 foot wide portal um and the the door is about is pushed about five feet off of it did you see it was five feet movement yes yeah yeah yeah yeah so it's it's it's like halfway on the portal and halfway on the door oh look everyone I think I found an exit I thought those I just got to say this guy you're real MVP over here you're doing great Delphos very nice very nice be sure to put in a good word for the king it's been a while since I've seen him you're doing great in my kingdom I

have to say yeah we'll have to talk about a possible position you and I and I'll follow them through the portal again all right um since Zerm, Tethrus, Styx, and Lou Gelda are on the opposite end from from the door I need you all to make me uh dexterity checks you can make on the door before the door moves back dexterity you print your little goblin ass across that room slide through in a baseball slide out into darkness following Delphos and Baba a 16 you just barely get your body through and you eat through and you were you were pretty close because you were talking to Delphos and you skinny your way through it got an eight an eight you start to try and uh and make it through the door what's your what's your uh armor class 15 a 15 its tongue lashes out

and wraps around your wrist and you are uh grappled in the in the room um can I cast uh chill touch as a um cantrip really quick uh yeah for sure on the top it doesn't need any material components no great go for it okay cool that is oh that's a 16 to hit that hits it's nine four 13 points of damage 13 points of damage it kind of it's still got you grappled but it is uh it looks like it took a little bit of damage Styx what did you what did you roll I got a seven so you are you are just behind Ligelda but as she gets trapped in the in the in the pathway of the uh of the door you are stuck behind her and you can't you can't get anywhere could I do a reactionary spell too go for it yeah I don't know what I'm doing sorry

y'all but I'm doing it I'm gonna go ahead and uh I have a hellish rebuke as a reaction so basically I'm gonna point at the creature they are surrounded by hellish flames and the creature must make a deck saving throw it takes two d 10 fire damage and a failed or half on a successful okay you said a deck saving throw yes okay let's see that's a seven yeah no no so hit me with that damage just do it off here it's faster two d 10 you get the following I'm so sorry but not sorry no worries and you got

screen's bigger six six points of damage yes the flames kind of lick up the sides of this of this not door and it it looks like it doesn't feel great but it's still it's still got Ligelda by the wrist and it's starting to creep its way back over where the portal is you probably have about one more one more round until it's until it's in front of the portal again so uh sticks roll me another dex should we help them oh yeah could we all do something you should you are on the other side of the portal and you're kind of falling into the darkness I'll say you each have you each have maybe one action before before you're kind of consumed by the darkness oh can I shout up at the thing move if it helps I just rolled a nat 20 for my dex thing just FYI so I don't know if that's

you've got a screaming goblin baby in your arms but you look around and at the top of this kind of like 20-ish foot tower there's a pulsating purple crystal and it looks like it's trying to recharge but it's it's it's the light is pretty low however in the far corner uh you see a oh gosh how do i make this draw shape there it is oh here's what we're gonna do hold on sorry pause for pause for big dum dum uh in the far corner by the wall you see something very familiar to you uh a tall white plated construct with gold inlay two huge glowing white eyes peer back at you its hands are folded in front of it and a tattered blue ass got us tied around its neck nanny i run over and i hug my big robot i bring them in close

and i give them all the love i can to this big whole king robot nanny and i grab them by the ass god i bring them down nanny my beloved i need you to help look over the children we gotta get out of here nanny nanny nods once and reaches forward and takes zerm from your arms and starts very gently uh kaleb you have control of nanny up in here perfect uh okay it is clippy as you as you requested yes little clippy um i'm going to send nanny over uh to deal with the children and of course it's this very large like k2so height robot this big lanky hunched over being that walks over

in a gold plated wiring under white uh sort of plates like plastic plates with these big golden glowing eyes and i'm gonna have him start taking care of the monsters well i'm gonna go up to that crystal with um uh pushinokyo um and we're gonna investigate that we're gonna see if i can discern anything about it um about how it might help us get out of this room sure so there there is a door there is a there's a door uh at the far end okay but the the um the crystal stands at the top of this kind of like 15 20 foot tall tower um and as you watch nope uh it still looks like it's like the the glow in it has dimmed somewhat but it's trying to this is the thing in the middle of the room the the purple thing in the middle of the room is there any sort of entrance into the

tower is it that door you were talking about uh there's not but there are a handful of they look like wooden planks sticking out from it that you might be able to climb i look to pinocchio or pushinokyo i'm forgetting my own child and i i say to him no you never do this unless daddy says it's okay all right and i reach into my my uh pack and use my artificer tools to modify my boots to have these little like steel patons on the bottom and i cast a spider climb um and i'm gonna start walking to the top up to that crystal you start walking to the top of the crystal and you make it up there and oops oops just threw my dice across the room you it's still it looks like it's still

kind of sputtering but um make me make me an archana check oh natural 20 this looks like a crystal that contains some kind of weird ass enchantment and you think that if it's broken maybe it'll it'll revert everything back like the enchantment will be broken as he's as he's realizing that uh delpho says give me back my book and instead of striking i cast a magic missile but it completely misses her and it goes up and hits the missile it hits the crystal in the air sure uh roll that damage for me uh i rolled a natural 20 that's when you roll the net yeah so that's three missiles two six but it's a plus something

oh god i forget what the plus is for magic missile magic missile is just one so that's uh two four six that's nine but i gotta roll twice right 21 points of force damage wow from magic missile oops so you send these magic missiles flying out in meaning to meaning to get revenge on baba but it spirals up and it hits the uh it hits the crystal at the center and it doesn't break it but tethers you can see that it is cracked heavily it was her baba did it and at that magical injection essentially the crystal flares to life again and ever enrolling con saves again

oh boy okay this time i rolled well 11 11 roll me another d12 come on come on 14 nine 41 you get a little bit bigger but you're still a kid your your legs and your arms kind of lengthen out a bit you feel a little bit stronger uh you're no longer halved for speed and your uh you have we'll say like magical uh you don't have all your your spells but you have you feel like you have like most of them okay i rolled a nine a nine you also age up about about to about the same age as lou and and you feel a little a little stronger you're a little faster zerm you are still an infant i rolled a three a three roll me as you 12 with a 21 i'm still an

there's some spell components daggers spell books i mean there's there's there's not a whole lot of personal effects or terribly powerful items but they do have their own spell books uh that takes most they've they've probably got about 50 gold on them between the four of them they did they're they are they are bleeding out currently they are not well because they'll go about casting as a cantrip spare the dying on them they'll still be unconscious they're just gonna be yeah yeah yeah you you can spare the dying yeah with with each one i can do a pointless artificer's infusion so for each one i'm going to install flashing text on their chest pieces that's a king of nowhere

we should have enough do it and lu puts our part of the key in there well insert your keys and the the whole thing shifts and the door creaks open and you find yourself for the first time in months years too long stepping onto real grass feeling the real sun on at a celebratory i will drink all three of those potions heal up completely uh and um who's nearest you we're all near her no no the guy oh no he's on my back he's literally on my back oh yeah
