Cult Divinity Lost is a horror game, and this actual play is intended for mature audiences. Be advised there may be violent themes,
adult language, and the exploration of darker subjects. Please take care of yourself and be aware.
Things to look out for tonight would be body horror, blood and gaur, eyes, corpses,
disappearance of people, religious iconography, acts of mass violence, and death. Safety tools are
used at our tables, and X-card can be employed at any time. And unless we have anything else,
started. To be awoken is one step above being asleep. Truth does not grant security. That is reserved for those who take action. The things around you bend the fabric of reality and be grateful it has not yet set its eyes upon you.
So listen carefully, darkness is cut by darkness,
survival comes to those who are willing to be unpleasant.
Broker deals with the shadows, deep dive those forbidden tones,
find what chooses to be hidden, prepare to sacrifice those on the altars of old gods.
Truth doesn't grant security. Action does.
Six weeks ago, Alano to set, died, held in the arms of Mary- Dubois. She tenderly wipes the poison wine from his lips as he forces oxygen
through the constricted airways, and in a moment he stops. Her exhale breaks the silence.
Maryl forgot how to breathe and rested her head against his, laying him flat amongst the marble ground of her office. She would then
remove his shirt and prepare the body, carving marks into his warm flesh, setting candles,
painting symbols around him. Satisfied, her hands shake as she reaches for a small notebook
and begins to read its contents in a language she has
never spoken.
Over and over, with more confidence until she is almost screaming it on the top of her
lungs as the flames flicker black and her sets corpse begins to writhe against the
words.
Earth begins to rumble in response as theois continues, as Tosset's body raises itself,
and in the final cry it all goes silent. The body collapsing on the floor. And Tosset breaks the
silence with a deep breath. Getting to his feet, he walks to the boi, eyes glowing green, he embraces her whispering. Well done. I'm going to be a little bit more careful. to Why don't we keep this moving along?
Let's start with quickly introducing our cast tonight who are joining us starting with
a leg, a lot of sorry, Jesus.
It's fine.
I'm love.
I'm going to be playing Cold to Boa.
Newly extra traumatized version. I'm Amanda and I'm playing Dr. Isadora Swan.
Take your time.
My free speech is reinstated.
Peepy.
Okay.
My name is Caleb James Miller.
I will be playing Hugh Letho now that you can hear me.
I guess I should go. My name is Shrews Hill. I'm playing Cecil Throne. And I don't know how to use OBS, I guess.
Are there the rest of us? I am Sack and I'm playing mint and diamond artist.
And I'm Eli, I will be your storyteller tonight.
I'm glad we're laughing, it's good.
It's good to start the game.
It's a bad time.
Every stream.
I'm having fun, it's how every stream starts. It's fine. Anyways, but before now that we've introduced ourselves, some housekeeping we
need to do, some things we need to roll at the top of the sessions. A couple things I need
to ask of you. First of all, those who have advantages or disadvantages, roles that need
to be, will the top of the session. Let's get that out of the way. I believe it's Caleb and Sergio that needs to do that
If you guys people quickly explain what you need to be rolling for and then roll those dice and then
Yeah, well, we're both condemned. So I think we both have the role for that. Yeah
It was at a D20 or was it 2D10 like normal?
I believe it's the 2D10.
Okay.
Okay, page 97 is where my stuff is.
I rolled a 10, which I don't think is that great.
I rolled a 12, so we're in the same bracket.
Okay.
So 10 is...
Your fate approaches, the GM chooses one of the following options and the player marks
one time.
Hmm.
You guys do one time and I get to pick something of your fates.
You're tortured by dreams or visions, you're haunted by the entity or event that sealed your fate.
Someone in your vicinity is negatively affected by your fate. Something provides you with false hope of escaping your fate.
Yeah, those are the options.
Cubans, that's great. Love it.
You can pull those on us at any given time.
I can see you. I just have to say the juxtaposition of Eli with this bright yellow happy mug. Talking about our
fate is very, very nice. I didn't have a more Goth mug. That was watched. It's so not Goth
and it almost is Goth. I also have sixth sense and I roll plus soul so that'd be plus one. So 8, 9, 10, that's 11
that I rolled for six cents. And if I go to page 120 of the book, it says, gotta go up Up one. Where are you, Six Sense?
I think it's an okay.
I said 11, yeah, twos up to two options,
usable any time during the session.
I get that first.
I get to sense something is of good or ill towards me
and I can sense a clue or lead when you're off track.
Perfect.
I got two of those.
Keep that in your pocket and use it when you need it.
Um, Caleb, what is the last thing you need to roll up top of session?
I need to roll for curse, which is my other disadvantage.
Um, you are cursed in the first session and whenever you're confronted by the
supernatural, roll plus zero, see how strongly the curse influences you.
So what we're looking at here is a 14 meaning that you have one hold this session.
The GM can spend a hold to make a move for the curse.
For example, you or someone you care about have an accident, something of yours is taken
from you, you experience terrifying visions or your first to take, forced to take certain actions with the risk of dire consequences
if you refuse.
So you've got to hold against me this session, Eli, that's all for you.
Beautiful.
And then I have two things from your, the other thing, right?
Yes.
Oh, you have one from condemned and you have one from cursed underneath. One from
condemned and one from cursed. Cool. Excellent. All right. The next thing we need to do is talk about
your guys' relationships. With you all have at least three NPCs and three PCs that you have several different stats of connection to. Let's go around quickly
around the room and tell me which one you are increasing or decreasing and if you want to give a
quick reason why feel free to. Anybody would like to start? Correct me if I'm wrong but it's just
one NPC. It could be your PC relationships as well.
You can either plus one them or decrease them.
But more than one relationship or just one NPC.
Only one person, yes.
Okay.
I think, and you can fight me on this if you like,
but I think I actually want to add a plus one to Mary Jensen
because as I was thinking about it at the end of the game, Mary Jensen was the woman that
walked up to me in the first session telling me about what was going on, one of the curators.
When things started going really badly, I'd like to think that Cecil thought of her and
not his current girlfriend, Adeline, who's lost somewhere in the crowd.
He thought of her and realizing that
he probably was like, damn, I think I have feelings.
And that's why I have plus one, the Mary Jensen.
Okay, okay.
I'm not gonna fight you on that, that's beautiful.
Zuckia, who are you increasing
and decreasing relationship wise?
I think I'm just decreasing.
I have one for both of the Maryl and Anthony Dubois, obviously minus one for a boy, Tony,
but I think that's it.
Okay.
So the Boas, you're minimizing that relationship.
Beautiful.
I kind of want to keep mine with Maryl
because there might be a, okay, to.
So Anthony then is who you're decreasing,
that relationship with.
Cool, beautiful.
Speaking of the Boas, Colda Boa, Lev,
who are you increasing or decreasing?
Who are you increasing or decreasing?
Same move, Zach
Decreasing my dear departed father though he may remain with me
Okay, actually like so they're both on my vital
Should I just bump them both down?
Yeah, I would say on in addition to the fact that
You know, you're breaking this bond with your father. You are also experiencing a grave betrayal from a
member of your own family, so I will say both the Bois and
Maryl and your father can go
down one Caleb for Hugh. who do you think deserves an increase or
decrease in your relations with them?
So I was actually thinking that I would give a plus one to the detective. I thought that we at least had a conversation that meant something to Hugh, no matter how
ornery or a bitchy Hugh got.
So I thought that would be my plus.
Perfect.
Good.
I like that.
And Amanda, do you have anybody that you would like to increase or decrease your bonds
with?
I do. You know what? Yes. Okay. So for Maryelle De Boa, I actually can I increase it by one?
You want to increase her your relationship with her by one? Mm-hmm. Okay. There's a reason. She's technically still in play.
So yes, you can absolutely increase that relationship with her.
Remember these relationship modifiers contribute to how you engage with these people.
When you do engage with them, they add or decrease when we do rules against them.
So keep that always in mind.
I think the last thing I need to do
is just quickly talk about the experience
you all guys gained last session.
You guys got three.
There's technically some questions
that are attached to those three,
but I wanted you guys to have at least know
that you earned those last session.
So hold on, let me pull the questions because my internet.
Guys thanks for all the crazy amount of subscriptions by the way.
Appreciate that. I'm so happy.
Watching those come in.
Alright, three questions that I need to ask.
Have we discovered anything new about the truth?
Anybody feel that we've done that?
I think a big truth was revealed to us.
So, you learn something, we've learned.
We learned?
Yeah.
It's the best lesson.
I have lessons.
We learned some weird shits of what and we learned that
they like to stay in the shadows.
Yeah, there was some knowledge
shit that popped off before,
you know, the big scary thing
and everyone died. Yeah, you know,
I want to say that even in
mince performance, I think we all
learned that people can wield powers,
you know, just, you know,
outside of weird situation. I mean, outside normal situations, I guess. Oh, just, you know, outside of weird situation.
I mean, outside normal situations, I guess.
Oh, yeah, I love that.
Have we learned anything new about our characters?
Yeah, yeah, totally.
We learn that Cecil probably needs some HR training.
Absolutely.
A lot.
I was going to say we know we all know how we'll react in an emergency.
Yeah.
Yes.
We learn that coal has experienced some form of physical trauma and is having repressive
memories related to it.
And that they're very included in on this cult thing. What wants to know more?
No, I don't know anything.
I have that mintus in the middle of a insurance fraud,
you know?
I love that you mind.
You love that you mind?
You never you mind.
Oh man.
We learned something's up with Isadora,
whatever.
Whatever's going on with her.
I know like she's like yeah
beautiful have we challenged ourselves
why don't we not challenge ourselves yeah the fact that we survived you know when they when
you go to court and they tell you don't interact with the person that you're going to court against and you instead like crash their party and talk to them directly.
I know exactly what you're talking about.
No, he's been there.
I think that's been challenging.
I agree.
I put it was a big deal that Cecil didn't immediately fire those guards were keeping him from the gallery.
Hey, good to know. That was gross.
He was like, yeah, okay, you guys are pretty, pretty loyal.
I appreciate that you guys at least, you know, respect workers, doing their jobs.
Yeah.
Get it done.
No matter how influential you might be.
Um, beautiful, That is great. That is all I needed to
really cover with you guys for the for the beginning of our session. So why
don't we just get back into our evening. It was supposed to be a run of the
mill exhibition. You're supposed to rub elbows with the socialites of DC,
drink fancy Italian wine, deal with the politics of being seen and heard in the art scene.
You spent the night looking for Du Bois, who seemed seemingly absent,
tried to peek into the exhibition early, but was met by musty security guards.
You witnessed Mint's newest installment of her art before it was time
for the exhibition. I'm sorry. For the time for the exhibition to start and while
and all the while feeling that something was just a bit off. Once you got into the gallery, you were met with a very darkly lit room and we
see eight paintings, which I will explain really quickly for all of us in the
folks at home to get. We'll display them for the folks to see them.
We will display them as well and I will describe them for those listening. The first of the paintings is known
as the prison. It is a self-portrait of young Vaquin flanked on either side his corpse
representing the body. The second one we're gonna... I'm so sorry, is it the prison or the prison?
The prison, as in like a, you thought a jail prison?
No, no, no, you're fine.
Thank you.
The second one is the coupling.
It is a painting of a dark bedroom
with crumpled sheets, empty wine bottles,
and rotting food, where two corpses rest
in the afterglow of their lovemaking, representing
feelings and passion.
We have the wanderer framed in moonlight, a robed figure, traverses a vast desert seeking
and in distant city representing the intellect.
We have the three angels, a dying man chained a top a pile of skulls, reaches
up towards three stone angels representing the imprisonment in the illusion.
We have the fool's wisdom. A disemboweled man offers his entrails to the sephrine in exchange for divine insight representing instincts.
We have Atonokaldo, a crucified vat queen, stands before burning ruins while anarchist stands
in the background representing the force of life. We have the feast of ignorance,
deep within the Parisian catacombs, haloed figures, examined the stigmata of
Vickwins emaciated corpse representing the will and the triumphantor, a halo death stands
above Adam and Eve slipping into the churning chaos of purgatory, representing the consciousness. All of these sits in the back room of this gallery,
and in the center light holds the main artifact of the overall exhibition, which
is the tears of Drebra. It's a man-sized triptych representing the Waken Self, the left and the right panels to pick two
roads, one light and the other dark, snaking over two citadels. The middle panel depicts the spring of
death, a bone white fountain that overflows with black iker., dark figure, is visible beyond the spring, cloaked in shadows, in a space
etched with age. And that's the main thing that sits before you. And before you guys get even a
moment to enjoy it, Mary L turns the tides, stabbing her husband a lot Alano, Anthony, three times, and smearing blood, in which everything
starts to change.
The room seems to grow darker, and panic starts to set in, as Alano Tosette, who had joined
in the, joined into the crowd at some point and joining Mary Elle at the
top of the stage, at Rida, she plunges that knife into Anthony. He begins to
change in form into something on God that you all have never seen before and as
people start to make their way to the exit.
You guys start to realize that you are not safe here
and you need to leave.
And since you all have witnessed something,
fucking crazy, I like you all to roll me
a keep it together rule to start us off
because I'd like to know how you're all feeling. This is like a sanity roll? It's
kind of like a sanity roll. You have stability in this game which generally
tapers how you're handling your situations. When you are brushing up against a supernatural,
and I say you are brushing up with it pretty fucking hard.
So yeah.
Oh.
Well, I rolled a 10.
10?
Okay.
You rolled 2D 10, and you're gonna add your willpower
to keep it together.
I rolled a 10, which means the effort to resist and
stills a condition which remains with you until you've had time to recuperate.
You get minus one in situations where this condition would be a hindrance to you
and you can choose which one or maybe we can decide together. Yeah we can. Let's
let's get the general crowd mood first before we start figuring out how we actually feel. Mint, what did you get? I got an eight.
Nice. De Bois. Eleven. Cool. Letho. A 17. 17? Oh, keeping it together. And is Adora. 14. 14, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Cool, so I don't trust.
Great, good to know.
So Hugh, you stay the course.
You are able to hold yourself in this moment.
This is not the first time you've witnessed such
weird and scary shenanigans,
so it at least keeps you focused on the task at hand
Who rolled a between 10 and 14 that would be
All right, you guys three are gonna earn yourself
conditions
Or us yeah, you're gonna instill a condition. So you guys have a choice angry sad scared guilt ridden
Become obsessed or become distracted So you guys have a choice. Angry, sad, scared, guilt-ridden, become obsessed,
or become distracted.
I think that Cecil is angry.
You know, he feels used like this whole thing
was some kind of weird, performative thing on Mary-El's part.
He understands that she's done something dastardly,
something magical, and just doesn't like to enter deals
where he isn't fully aware of everything that is meant
to be taking place.
I think he's angry.
OK.
De Bois, what are we taking?
Cole's going to take sad because I think somewhere deep in their mind and in their heart, they were
kind of always running on the assumption that as I get older, my dad and I get closer,
like he's the parent that I had the least issues with, or the fewest issues with.
But now that can't ever happen.
And I think like the weight of all of that,
like future that they assumed they'd have,
crashes down really quickly.
Good, excellent.
Isadora, how are we feeling?
What are we taking?
I think the best way I would say is
I'm gonna go ahead and take obsessive.
Obsessive.
Beautiful.
Cool.
Obsessive.
You did enjoy watching that poor woman get back to my shadows.
That's the thing.
I...
So cool.
Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry.
Oh, no, no, no.
OK.
Cool.
Cecil, take one minus one to your stability
and hold on to those feelings.
You, asadora, actually take plus one,
and the thing I show you in a minute
will be the thing that you obsess over.
Mint. Can I ask a really fast question?
See.
Okay, so we started composed, yes.
So if we just take one, we go down to uneasy, correct?
Yes, you are in need, we currently.
Thank you.
And you will take minus one to suit certain roles.
Your stability, as your stability,
worsens your roles, will worsen. There are descriptions
in those things when you mark them. So, at here to those disadvantages, if they pop up
in a rise, mint, you, this is a lot. Definitely not what you were anticipating. You thought
you were going to be the weirdest thing. Tonight and not only is like no one going to remember your performance at all,
you are scared for your life. You went down to help Cole to get them up and it was enough for them
to get up. But as soon as Alano fully transforms into this creature in front of you, and he scoops
up Mary L, and Mary L turns into the statue of an angel, and you watch her turn to stone,
you watch the wings rip out of her back, and you just watch her kind of calcify and you
and it kind of almost reminds you of porcelain and how you have noticed even
in yourself those kinds of changes and maybe you're even looking upon a future
of yours and it stops you dead in your track. So as much as Cole has been getting up
and starting to get the sense that they need to leave,
you have decided to freeze and stay in your place.
And your eyes are now on Mary-El-Dibois,
the stash-hoot angel who's now screeching into the spray.
Cole, good.
Let's go ahead and start it.
Cecil, you had a sense that the safest place you and as a door,
but primarily focusing on you right now,
you had a sense that going to the main exit door out
into the second floor gallery is not the safest place for you.
You have a hinkering that you need to go back
into the darkness towards the back of the gallery.
You are still sitting in the light with the remaining of the group here. What do you want to do?
I think I just kind of start yelling out my office. We have to get to my office, to say for
my office, come on, and I'm just kind of moving into the dark,
into the direction of the exit, the alternate exit that I notice.
Everybody with the exception of Isadora and Mint,
are you planning to follow suit and listen to Cecil
and get behind him and head that way,
or do you plan another course of action?
I'm following after Cecil,
so Cecil as soon as he calls for it, I'm making way.
Okay.
I think Cole stands up with like blood-covered shaking hands
and is like trying to wipe them off,
and is looking towards Cecil's,
but is kind of torn between going with him and
grabbing mint because mint was the one that pulled him up. I think they're going to go to
mint. Okay, as you do that, roll me. Roll me something. Roll me. Roll me for your repressed memory.
Cool.
I can do that.
Yeah.
Super fine.
Everything's good.
Everything is fine.
Everything's nine.
Everything's nine.
What is nine, man?
End is nine.
End is nine. That. And is nine. And is nine.
That was a good one.
Encouraging too.
Cool.
You try to go and run to help mint because you feel like that's the right thing to do.
And as you rush over there and
you go to reach out to them and you hear that screeching that continues to go on behind you,
you have these quick flashes of the iron slab and waking up after
what had happened didn't go through. And everybody is on the floor, Jess,
laid flat and you are panicking and you are scared and you were just remembering
that moment and it keeps swelling up inside you. You can't be here.
Then I think Cole gives into the impulse of fucking survive. You did this once, do it again,
and just starts running.
Yeah. All three of you, Hugh, De Bois, and Cecil, roll me a...
Oh, me, eh.
Roll me an act under pressure as you lead the light of the center part of this gallery and
in to the darkness.
Don't get caught.
No, hold those rolls for me.
Isadora. Oh, hold those rolls for me. Is it Dora?
Oh, shit.
Okay.
Yes.
You, as all of this fray happened, got to witness what has been going on.
You are the only one of anybody to observe the situation as the panic set in.
And you notice several things including
the person that you were kind of hunting on,
being pulled back into the darkness.
And as you like heard her scrape back into the,
and you hear the squelching and the ripping apart of the body.
You know you need to run.
You know the logical places to go.
You know that safety is not with the herd but somewhere else.
And you do hear the bit of people saying like we need to go this way.
So you know you need to go but you're not quite done checking what's just on the pedipists of the darkness.
So you hold just a little bit longer, just linger just a little bit more, and then you
start to hear after the squelching and the ripping and the eventual silence of the person
who was just being torn apart.
You start hearing the slapping of wet footsteps as what comes into the light is a person of some kind that you kind of clocked.
That's not ominous. Never ominous.
Sounds like they're just fine. It's another day.
What you see is a woman completely denude of her skin, exposing the glistening anatomy
beneath in perfect belief.
And you can see that it's just leaving blood on the floor and just fluids are just kind of leaking out.
And as she's like walking, staggering for not only she dragging like half of a body of
like an arm and a bit of torso, she's just going to be dragging in it, but you're just seeing the
pain expression on her face every single time she just gets closer and closer to you. This is the thing you will be obsessed with
looking at the beautiful anatomy and being reminded in the books and the tomes that you have studied
so closely how this kind of Jess resembles a lot of that. So it's like a walking muscle, like a Titan from Attack on Titan Titan. Titan thing.
Yeah, essentially.
Oh god, yeah.
It's a skinless Titan, yeah.
Oh, that's, oh, I'm actually doing it.
And she's walking towards you with each painstab dragging that half of arm and torso
with her.
She has to get it closer to you with no stop.
I'm going to be really close. I mean, yeah, you would be like, I'm going to really talk to you.
I mean, I would want to start kind of going backwards
or at least heading, but I will especially want to see how
like the joints, I want to specifically look at the kneecaps,
the elbows, I want to see the, I want to see the movement.
So she has very kissable lips?
No, I'm literally looking at all the joints and as I back off
I'm fascinated. Keep backing up with each step making that same squelch. Each
way to eventually start you know you're starting to get your
body and your reaching to the edge of the darkness, going to opposite direction where Cecil and De Bois
then are going.
Are you going to continue doing this,
or you got to make a choice,
are you going to continue to watch this
and stay in the light and allow them to keep approaching you,
or are you going to turn around and start heading
out of the darkness into the sky?
I'm going to have to, I'm going to have, I'm going to,
what would it side to still?
What would it side to still? Exactly no, you're that's the problem and I'm a like a surgeon. This is like
No, okay, okay, you've seen this before if you're a surgeon
Not like this. This is where it's like it's fascinating
Although if I'm seeing the dead body, it's like all alright, I'm not gonna be someone's beef jerky.
So it's gonna be like, okay, because I can put logic and remember you're like, I'm gonna head towards that direction where the...
Everybody this way, that's where I'm heading.
Okay, roll me, sorry. Roll me a keep it to, not a keep it together, act under pressure as you are now going to
also lead that in the Hold Your Roll meant.
You are weighing everything that is happening currently, seeing all of this happening.
And as you're kind of finally in that, you know, panic mode and you're still trying to get yourself together, you notice that the statuette creature that once was Mary-Elde Bois finally starts to
look around and look around and observe its surroundings
and in like a swift motion
Plex a person
Out from the crowd and just rips into them god damn it mom
And as she just she doesn't even like bite into it
It's not even like in a way that an animal would just be recklessly consuming and just rip apart and
just regard the corpse and as it starts to look around it eventually clocks you
Wold me another keep it together to see if we can push you along
I'd like to have this not happen. Thanks. If you want to stop it.
Holy you, Kanzak. That's right.
That's a 13. 13, great. That's good. 13 will give you a condition on top of your stability,
but it will at least get you out of this panic frozen state. So you are either becoming angry, becoming sad, becoming scared,
guilt-ridden, obsessed, or distracted.
Um, I think I'm going to become obsessed,
especially given what Mitt was thinking about, like, material-wise,
and now my plus one, Myth with Mariel is plus two.
Okay.
Okay, both of you, yeah.
Okay, do that.
You're really baking on Mariel being a rational later.
Yeah, everybody's getting real horny for skin, Mom.
Mom's never been rational.
Talk to me before you decide to talk to my mom.
You love moms.
Um, alright.
Uh, Mint, you also are now free to move about the cabin.
What do you want to do?
Do you want to leave the light and try to locate coal or do you want to stay here?
I'd like to not stay here. I'd like to go anywhere else. I think if I heard my office from
Cecil, I would go there.
Okay, then roll me a act under pressure.
Okay, gotcha. So who rolled a above a 15?
On the original keep it together.
On the act under pressure since we all are now leaving the light and trying to sleep.
I got a 15 flat.
15 flat, good. Isadora, you got, I got an 18.
18, you shit.
Cecil. Who got 10 to 14s on act under pressure?
I rolled and then immediately forgot because I put my dice away. Hold on.
I don't recall you asking me to roll for this because you asked me in the beginning. No, no, this is this is a role for us in in-game. Not for something at top of session.
So roll me an act under pressure which is a role plus. Five. Yeah. Oh. Twelve.
I'm reading the act sheet right now and it doesn't look pretty.
It's okay I got a seven.
I'm with you.
Okay, okay.
Damn.
Yeah, serious consequences you make a mistake or you're exposed to the danger.
Hmm.
I can't, I'm rich.
There you go.
Mmm, that's exactly why you should die.
It just has to be faster than Cecil, that's it.
All right.
You all decide to leave the safety and the comforts of the light in the center of Dubois' atrocity exhibition in the gallery.
And for a moment, it's just almost pitch. You can see, I mean, there's a little bit of
elimination from the paintings in the back, but it's not a lot. And all you see is also just
movement and stuff going on. Q and Isadora, You seem to eventually get towards the back of the
corner of the gallery and everything seems fine. You're following this the
wall and you're just moving back. Everything's you know you hear things like
you hear grumbling and shuffling but it doesn't approach you. So you're enough to, you're, you're press a bit
against the wall enough to just keep shuffling quietly.
Cool.
You got a 12, so you're within the mid-range always.
Cole, you seem to also not necessarily have a problem also moving and traversing. You are hearing the rumbles and stuff like that, but you are particularly privy to what
is being heard behind you, which is the sound of Cecil and Mint.
Cecil and Mint, you both get into the darkness,
and Cecil, you're just like,
I, this is my galleries, and so I find out where things are,
and head back there.
Mint, you seemed to boiois just beeline into darkness.
You like, she gets relatively close to you
and even goes to swipe at you
and you manage to just flee into the darkness.
And Dubois seems to just immediately become preoccupied
with the next close thing to her
and starts pouncing on that.
And you can hear the ripping and stuff like that.
But as you're just running, not thinking about all of that,
you just want straight into Cecil.
And you just hear you both collide.
Loudly, as you guys both crash onto the floor
in the darkness, not looking up there.
You don't really see anything,
but the feeling of like a body up against each other.
You know, as you guys get into the world.
I think my initial reaction is,
get away from me.
And then I see who it is.
And I'm like, I need to get to my office.
We have to get to my office.
Follow, okay, go.
And I'm gonna start moving
and then as quickly as possible, put her in front of me.
Okay, cool. You hear front of me. Okay.
Cool. You hear all of this going on and you know that you can either turn around and go
back or move forward.
Cecil and Mint as you guys are like loudly, loudly conversing with each other, panicking
in the dark.
You hear the fuck you.
There's a moment where you just smell that nasty,
musty smell as you feel something reach out
and try to grab you both in the dark.
It's like a cold hand on an arm or a leg,
but it's starting to grapple you guys as you guys are trying to scramble up in the darkness and get out of it.
Who will me a hmm?
Will me an avoid harm?
Whoa.
So yeah, if you flexi, you are against these grabs.
My reflexes, I have good reflexes.
Yeah.
Yes.
So that's 13 for me.
18.
Ah, good.
See you, Cecil.
You manage to just kick whatever that is,
straight in the chest and it seems to stumble back,
enough for you to start scrambling and heading back to the
back to the direction that was originally told for you to go. Cecil, you
use, you could hear mint scrambling and stuff like that and you start hearing the sounds of her footsteps
But whatever has you grappled is now holding you tighter and keeping you from escaping. Oh help me
She has a screen with my hand reached out. Cole you hear that as well. You hear Mitt help me and you hear Cecil,
and you are given the choice.
Do you go back for Cecil?
You do you help him out, or do you continue to move forward
without a thought of his safety or well-being?
Oh God, I want to die.
Drop the charges.
Don't ask your anything, anything, please.
Oh, shit. Mitt takes off her heel and shucks it at this thing that grabs. Drop the charges. I sure anything, anything, please!
Mint takes off her heel and shucks it at this thing that grabs.
It's grabbing his head.
Yes!
Hell yeah, you're engaging in combat.
Roll me a Roll Plus violence to see how well that shoe throw.
It gets the job done.
Okay.
Think it up. job done. Okay. Okay, we get a...
That's in 11.
Oh, it's more than that.
I'm sure the way that I can help in some way.
Can we just...
Oh, wait, actually, I have a skill.
I have Ace up the sleeve.
I can roll plus cool.
All right.
Let me see just real quick to confirm
That ace up my sleeve
I put I put in the page on the document and then it doesn't take me to the page
I want to go do ace up the sleeve whenever someone's got you up against the wall and in a tight spot roll coolness
Here we go
or in a tight spot, roll coolness. Here we go.
I think you're in a tight spot.
Roll tight.
My coolness is two.
So that's a 16.
15 plus, you get two edges.
You may spend them any time during the scene.
You have a small concealed weapon.
You realize your opponent has a weakness
and you can exploit, take plus two to your next roll.
You spot a way out as the GM what it takes plus two to your next role
to make it use of it.
I guess I will look into that weakness.
And I want a weapon, but not yet.
I think I will try to spot a way out as well.
I'll burn them right now.
Okay, cool.
Okay cool. Um,
Mint, you chuck that like says like you eventually look whatever it is finally gets close enough to you
So you can finally actually see it. It's a human being. It looks like a person
But you've watched enough zombie films to know what a zombie kind of looks like and this guy's given off really bad
Zombie vibes. So he's just like starting the Nash. It's teeth gripping onto you trying to bite you
So you just I don't know it stings know, instinctually kick into him and stuff like that.
Realize that the corpse, the body is old enough for you to at least get it off you.
So between, you know, when mint like chucks the shoe, it like bounces off of its head and
it's like, ah, and you are able to get advantage to push it aside. And you realize that like, while they're strong and like focused on the task at hand,
they're very soft and squishy as well, even because they're rotting.
And as you kind of like, you know, now you got the smell of dead body on you.
And as you kind of like, getting that person off, you swigging out from underneath them
and stuff like that, you feel somebody else's hands grab you.
But when you like freak out for a second, you realize that the person who's grabbing you
is like, Cecil, Cecil, and it's Mary.
And she's like, get up.
Oh, Mary Jensen. Yeah, she's Mary Jensen. She's like, get up. And she's like, get up. Yeah, she's Mary Jensen.
She's like, get up.
And she's like,
I'm very thinkin' of a bell grab her.
And she's like,
she's like, I was like, come on.
And she's leading you towards where you were heading
because you know that there's a security exit
that leads to service tunnels
somewhere in the back of the gallery.
So that's where you're heading.
But she gets you back up to your feet
and you three start making it towards the wall
to where you hopefully will get out of here.
Meanwhile, everything is still going on.
You hear the screeching, the crying of people,
and just the, you know, the, the,
the vocophony of just mass destruction going on.
All right, it takes a few moments, which seems like an
eternity, but eventually, Mary can get you and Cecil and
everybody to the, the back door. And as far as you know, it's Elise, y'all.
Mary goes and grabs the key card that she has on her person.
She swipes it and she starts opening the back door
into what looks like dark service tunnels.
And to just be clear, it's me, Mary Mint.
And everyone else is for her. Yeah, every single person may it has made it.
It's kind of.
Yeah.
And as you guys are starting to spill in, you hear people in the back going, wait, hold on.
Wait for us.
But you also hear just more, as those voices get closer,
you also hear the things behind them getting closer,
and the mones, and the groans, and the screeching of what might be Mary L,
or might be Alano.
It might be whatever else or might be Alano.
It might be whatever else that Cecil found
in the darkness, it could be the nude woman.
But you hear these people's voices going,
wait, wait, hold on.
What do you guys wanna do?
The door, we have to close the door.
I just wanna make sure that I can close the door
before anybody can keep it open.
Yeah, I think now that that mint can see coal and the danger
is perceivably ending. They start pushing people away from the door so it can be closed.
Is the door is going to, because is the door is not going to stop the door being closed, but is
the door is going to look through it? Try to see if they can catch glimpse of something.
close but Isador is going to look through it. Try to see if they can catch glimpse of something.
So you, Isador, want to be the final person to close the door because it's very... Oh no no no no. I'm letting Cecil kind of do it. I'm just back but I'm kind of just
just watching the crack. Yeah, I'm just kind of looking off to the corner.
Okay, yeah. Isador, as you're just watching that,
Isador kind of pushes through all of you, and immediately goes and grabs the door,
and starts to close it.
I mean, all you see is like the outstretched hand
of a person who was just right there at the door,
and then closed the click of it.
And Cecil, you have the capacity to lock it,
it's a security type of door,
but it also needs the key card in order to open.
So as you guys, as the click happens, a couple seconds later, then you start hearing people slamming
up against the door of this wall. You hear people are against the wall too, just panicking in the darkness.
And then the eventual screaming that caught follows suit. Do you all plan to stay here and continue to listen or shall we move on?
I'm gonna touch, I'm gonna grab like a sea soul's arm and be like where's your office?
This way, let's get to my office. It's safe there. Come on, we have to hurry.
The office, we, no, I think we should go further, Cecil.
I think we should go down to the vault, into the basement. It's the most secure room here.
We can close the whole vault door and stuff. It has supplies and stuff like that. We should go there.
No, no. The basement have a gun. I have a gun in my office. That's what's gonna keep us safe. Come on.
Yeah.
Sure that gun is gonna make a world of difference
against the living statue in there.
Well, I'm sure it's a lot better
than you shoving that stick up somebody's ass.
Is there, wait, wait, wait, how about this?
Exit, can we get out the exit?
As much as I don't wanna be,
I was gonna say trapped in here.
Would it not be best for everyone if we got the F out?
Exit to the studio to the
to the art exhibit. You said that's the thing. The faths of thing that these
service tunnels lead to the back ways of all of this stuff. It's probably the
safest way for us to get out of there. I we don't know what's going on. Every
guy came in on your boss. Why don't you listen to me? But I don't. Yeah I just I
think I understand that you're my boss,
but I think that this is the safest place to go. Well, we'll stop at the office, we'll get
his pea shooter, and then we can go down to the vault and talk about what's going on.
Thank you so much for thinking reasonably. Yes. It's dark. I'm going to say again, because
they didn't come in the light. It's just dark. And they're, what if they can go through the shadows?
Well, there's no reason hanging around to find out.
Let's just go.
The mint takes out the flashlight on your phone
and holds it in front of everyone.
Yeah, and pick out your Motorola's put on the flashlight.
Thank you for being useful, Mint.
And still, whatever, let's just go.
Let's just go as quick as we can, right?
It'll be quick, it'll be very quick.
My office is not far from here.
If you're gone longer than 10 minutes, we keep going.
Vigory five.
Five.
I don't have to be 10 minutes if you just follow me.
Sure, five.
I'll go with you Cecil.
All right, so you guys are pushing on down the tunnel tunnel ways to get to the main floor,
which is where Cecil your office would be.
Yes.
Okay.
All right, so you guys start traversing down the stairwell and eventually you get to
the service store. It's quite eerily quiet. I mean, in the distance, the further you, as you go
down the stairwell, you can still hear the echoes of what's happening upstairs.
And you finally head down a level of stairs in the service alley, and you eventually hit the door which would lead to one of the exits to the main floor,
which is where most of the mingling was happening, where the caterers were all of that stuff, and down a particular hallway would eventually lead to the main offices like Dubois and that who is
planning to join. Actually, who would like to observe, does anybody want to observe the situation?
Does anybody want to do anything here before we exit into that? Are we all going together as one tribe to the offices or only a couple and some people are staying here in the hallways
in the tunnels? I definitely want to observe the situation but I do want to go out there with
Cecil too. Okay. Anybody else want to observe the situation for themselves?
Yeah, I might as well.
Okay, then everybody, yeah, then everybody rule me
and observe the situation,
and we'll see what questions can be asked.
And your perception.
Can I instead roll enhanced awareness?
Sure, absolutely.
instead roll enhanced awareness. Sure, absolutely.
15.
15, who else has 15?
Mint, Q, anybody have 10 to 14?
Edit.
Edit.
Anybody below 10?
8.
8 to 10.
So we get some new dice.
I have to say, but I'm in jail.
Hey, these dice.
You're just so angry and flustered that you're very focused on your current task.
I asked you to observe the situation. current task. Isadora you get to ask one the question? The questions are what is my best
way through this? What is currently posing the biggest threat? What can I use to my advantage?
What should I be on the lookout for? What is being hidden from me and what seems strange about this?
Should I be on the lookout for what is being hidden from me and what seems strange about this?
And anybody else can ask these same questions. I will give it to you via your perspectives. Okay.
I'm gonna ask.
So sorry, everybody. I'm just really thinking about it.
Ooh, I kind of want to ask, what's... As the door's kind of looking down the hall and she's really kind of like, like the darkness
has tried to like, what is being hidden from me?
Because that was like, in earlier, like, that's what was thinking when they were in the darkness with the creatures.
So they're like, what else is hidden, being hidden for me?
So you're more focused on what's going around in the space you're currently in versus what's
behind door number one.
Um, yes, because it's like cool.
What else is it?
What else is going to pop out?
Sure.
You see, you know, as you kind of walk down the stairs and stuff like that, you seem to kind of trail off,
trail away from everybody.
Like you're still kind of moving along,
but you're you're you're you're being the flank of of this party.
And you're you are starting to, you know,
once we get towards the door, everybody's discussing
what the next steps are gonna be.
You are more paid attention to your surroundings.
Ever observe it.
You start to hear what the sound is like hissing,
kind of in the way like an aerosol can might sound. It's kind of like a sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss Um, are we proud to get our first jump scare?
Second.
As you continue to kind of also observe things and you start bringing the light up, but you're following like the stairs and stuff like that.
You also realize that like, you know, being a scientist, somebody who understands history a little bit, you notice bringing the light up, but you're following the stairs and stuff like that. You also realize that being a scientist
is somebody who understands history a little bit.
You notice that this hallway and stuff like that
seems to have piping that is much older than this current time.
And you're seeing even the steelwork on the stair grades
as it goes up to seem to be something of
decades prior. You seem, you seem, they seem start to seem a little bit different,
but as you continue to shine your light and you know camera light in 2010 is not
that bright. But as you kind of get closer and closer to where the top of the
stairwell would have been, You see something kind of shift.
You don't know if it's your eyes playing tricks on you
because you're stretching very thin to see.
How much you saw movement.
You.
So we're not alone.
No.
You.
You're old. I'm sorry, Zaccio. Also, what did you roll again? Did you roll, uh, I rolled
a 15. Okay, you're also in this group. I'll come back to you in a second. Two questions, ask
away. So this is in context to what means you solar about to walk out to. Yes. Okay, I would like
you solar about to walk out to. Yes.
OK.
I would like to see what currently
poses the biggest threat on the other side.
And the second question isn't really
germane to the list, but I'm wondering
if I could see any of the main entrances
to the actual building on the way to his office.
Like from where we're going on the other side, if there's a view of the main offices,
hopefully that's the thing I could do here. Otherwise, I can just pick another one from the list.
Sure, I'll answer that question. The first question was...
What poses the biggest threat? So what big necessity is on the other side here?
So you creak the door open.
You know, like you just generally just try to crack it,
just to kind of assess what,
and you can hear even, you know, commotion going on.
It's not something that anybody can't hear it.
But as you kind of peek through, you realize that
here, but as you kind of peek through, you realize that there seems to be people and corpses that seem to be attacking others and just a fray going on, not as condensed as what was going
on upstairs, but a scattering of people, people, fearful scared, running for their lives.
But as you kind of peek through,
you do see that hallway,
you've been to the center prior to being here at the gallery.
So you do know where Cecil's office is.
So you do see that, you know,
maybe if you make a break for it,
you could probably get lost in the fray
and maybe nobody might notice you,
but it seems that there's access there. As far as you can see into it as it kind of, you know,
keepers off. Mint, ask two questions. Are you planning, are you looking in the room itself
that you currently in in the tunnels?
Are you, are you one also planning to join the party that's going for the gun?
Or are you wanting to assess what's going on behind the door?
I think I want one question, if I can't spend one question about the tunnels and one question about
what's just outside the door?
Sure, we can split it.
Absolutely.
Cool.
I want to use what is my best way through this
for the tunnels and based on what I saw on the way in
the thing that attacked Cecil
and what I heard outside the door,
what I can use to my advantage,
knowing what's like in the gallery overall.
Okay.
When you look into the tunnels and stuff like that,
Mary mentioned that this goes all the way down to the vault.
So you know that, even Mary kind of keeps looking at the door,
looking at what's that little and he were about to do, but also just kind of
keep looking back to where she was wanting to go. She was
very immediately vocal about the safest place to be. So you
think wherever Mary is looking is the direction that you
should possibly go. And then if you're hearing all of that going on, you recognize the sounds
of that grumbling and you know, humanoid type of voice that was attacking on to Cecil.
And you know that with the right amount of leverage or the might amount of blunt forceness,
you might be able to fend yourself off with that. And I mean, thinking about what was going on
prior to all of this, there might be enough things laid about that you could
equip yourself to protect yourself if you need it. That's if you choose to De Bois, you have two questions as well. What are they?
I guess, so I rolled a 15 on my enhanced awareness,
and it says, on a success, you have a vision about the place
and maybe able to speak to entities tied to it.
So given that hue has,
if he was hue and is adora of clocked something in the hallway with us, I would love to try to know what it is. Hugh
clocked what's going on outside. So that would be the thing going on there.
Is adora clocked something inside at the top of the tunnels. And if you wanna look back, you can see it.
Isador's got a fixation up, up above.
So you have a choice.
You can pick either one.
I'm gonna pick the thing that's with us
because that's almost immediate danger.
Okay.
Sure. Oh no. I think Cole kind of in the way that people in stressful situations
tend to have heightened awareness of certain things because of adrenaline or whatever.
This is a more familiar thing for Cole.
And so he has a little bit more control
over where the focus of it goes.
And seeing Isadora look back, they'll turn and like,
try to look and like communication is the ideal. Everything else is cool too. But I think
I think Cole's question is just like screaming, what are you, what are you doing here, why are you doing
this? Just like, that's the second question. Yeah. What are you? Okay. Cool. Cool. You join as
adora at the bottom of the stairwell and you trace the light
up to the top. And as you finally rest your eyes on the top of the stairwell,
you start to just
feel uneasiness as you start to get those same flashbacks of visions. And what you get is the
the swinging of
a urn, one of those like smoke urns,
swinging of a urn, one of those like smoke urns,
rowbage, a tall brim hat, and a, and one of those pestilent masks.
And you just keep seeing the smoke
that just keeps billowing and billowing and billowing down.
And as you finally get back from all of that and you finally continue to just,
you didn't clock the movement, but you call out, what are you? All you hear is the
rushing of footsteps and into the flight, you just see a mask just pop out of the
darkness. It clocks you both and now is starting to rush down the stairwell.
That's all the questions we need to ask with all that information. How do we
want to proceed?
Well, I know that Cecil's really mad. So as we're walking, I think he kind of
were walking, I think he kind of purposely brings the conversation towards like what happened and he probably says something like, you know what, I just need everybody to be really
honest right now to admit that we aren't all that surprised about what just happened,
but what we just all saw?
You might want to see this.
Cole screams just like despair.
And like start stumbling backwards.
Yeah, they start screaming that I'm starting running.
Which way are you running? Are you running out the door?
Are you running down the tunnel?
I need everybody to decide.
Are you?
Whatever gets me to my office.
It's through the door.
It's through the door.
Hey, door.
Who else is going through the door?
Or who else is going through the tunnel?
If I see Cecil bolting for the door,
then I'm going to follow through, because I know now
that on the other side, there's even
more of those fucking things.
Mary clocks whatever's coming down the stairwell
And she heads down the hallway
In a panic she's oh
Yeah, she's she also hears cold scream screams herself heads that way what are we doing?
Who's going out the door with Cecil?
He and you anybody else the step the footsteps are getting closer. I'm going out the door
You're going out the door. Mint.
You meet it. I'm going out the door with them. You're going out the door. Cold the Boa. Are you going down to the vault? Are you going, are you,
or are you going with everybody? The smoke is starting to now get closer and closer now.
Cole's instinct for safety takes them more towards numbers than a vault they haven't seen in a while, so they're gonna follow.
Right? Mary books it into the darkness of the tunnels and and leads you all. You all run out the door.
And as you can see that you're in the midst of the fray
of everything going on.
And as you guys feel like there's a slight of relief
that you've made it out into some relative kind of safety
or safety that you at least are aware of. Upstairs, you can see in the balcony
that the boss door bursts open
and things start to just spill out.
Corpse is blood, gushes out
and you're just hearing all of that
as things start to move.
And you see, whatever was a lot of turn,
was turned into this like,
but this like,
but this like dead-ish corpse that has multiple limbs and seems to have this like satin cloth wrapped around it
filled with instruments to create and sculpt
and make stuff kind of just starts to reach through the doors
and come out for all of you to see. What are we doing?
I have a hauled ass at that point. Yeah, we're running. Yeah, you're heading to the office.
To the office. All right, yeah, roll me and act under pressure as you're now seeing whatever spill out of the boss gallery
and you're trying to get into the fray before anything sees you.
12 again.
12.
Oh, no way.
Hold on.
Did you double up?
I got a 20 naturally.
Hey.
We were about 13.
I got two 10 naturally. And we won. We won. I got two tens.
13.
So 14 for me.
14.
11.
11.
We're getting a complication folks.
20 minutes.
Oh, that's, that all done. Oh shit.
Okay.
Isadora, you bolt without hesitation.
Goddamn it.
You don't know them.
So you leave and you head towards the nearest hallway
that seems empty and you think
that might be where the offices are.
You don't even know.
But you're both dead. You you think that might be where the offices are. You don't even know. But you're, you're, you're ahead in, ahead in that direction. Those who roll, uh, 10 through 11, raise your hand again, uh, 10 through 14, you three. Okay. Oh, you four.
All of you. Okay. The rest of you. The rest of you, you, you also see Isadora who's leading the pack and you are making moves to get to Cecil's
office and Cecil's probably, you know, acknowledging and telling you that that's the way you need to go.
But as you guys are making your way through and you guys, you know, one of you, you can pick who, kind of like, you know,
takes a, does that, you know, look back and stuff like that. And coming out in the
monks' spray, you see this like taxidermy looking wolf creature. Go. But its teeth kind of look a lot like
sharpened, shrapnel rust.
And then it like, what you think is a how
is just as it continues to kind of like move forward
it clocks you guys and is now on the way towards you all.
You see that it's got like three human heads
sewn to its back and that's what the moaning is coming from is these voices of these people
and aggities as this wolf creature is now. That was you. It's a go after you.
But it's.
I didn't approve this.
It is far off the wall for you guys
to continue to get towards the office.
Or actually, I'll give you all the four of you,
the choice outside of Isadora.
You all have been to this gallery enough.
You both, you have two choices.
You can continue on your path and go to the offices or you have again
Mary mentioned the vaults down the stairs of basement and you clock the the
Front stairway for the gallery to go down to the basement to the vault you have a choice in this moment
Which direction you want to go?
I'm going to my office. We're going to your office.
I'm going to the office.
Going to the office.
I'm going to the office.
Mint.
Keep going.
We're going to keep going.
You're going to the office.
Yeah.
Cold to boi.
Damn.
Still going to the office.
All right. We're all going to the office.
Wow.
You guys are running. You're running and but you hear that howling
following you. It's a bad. I'm a cat person. Yeah, I don't like this. Everybody
everybody but is a door because is a door is succeeded so highly. You owe me another act under pressure to see if you guys are going to make it to
assess those office or face the consequences. I don't have to roll. No, you got a 20. I'm
going to say you're so far ahead that whatever 17 whatever's happening is not gonna affect you
17 15 flat for me 15 flat 16 16 15 15 beautiful
Yeah, you guys
Nope the fuck out the moment you saw that wolf thing and you're just like to the office to the office sprint down
Oh, yeah down the hallway.
Like, you catch up to Isadora,
who's oddly enough has managed to not get too far ahead
of them of yourself.
You get to your office, Cecil.
It takes a moment to jiggle,
because you kept that lock for the event,
but you guys managed to open it, close the door,
and now you all are,
as you hear,
as you hear,
the creature moan by.
You guys are, it was holding your breath just for a moment.
Hugh is going to take like the nearest most bizarre piece of statute artwork in
Cecil's office, which is probably some Cecil even take. Yeah, I'm gonna take it.
Break it free from its base and then use it to prop the door closed so that just in
case the wolf comes for the door we have something to to lodge it. Don't worry
I've paid a lot of money to have a good lock on that thing where we're
safe in here. We're immediately so walking over to my desk. I would be like
I'm gonna keep my ears to the door do I it? Did it like go by is it coming back? That's I'm going to yeah it it as it came by it just gave out that resonant and just
quenzyl's human moan but you then you hear it kind of shuffled by and
eventually eventually get silent behind the door. I'm going to keep my
just like very just like the slightest hint of anything creepy
BBB out there. I'm clocking. Okay. So you're gonna stay close to the door.
Close up. But not like, if you break you're not gonna grab my throat. I'm learning.
You're wrong. I love it all.
I love it all. No.
You turn around into your office and you realize like you're a, you know, a
decorative gentleman. You would have made your office look, you know, a certain type of
way. But when you kind of like turn around, you notice that the office is kind of more
displayed in something decades prior.
Like 40s.
Like 40s, not your stuff.
It's not your stuff.
It's your office for sure.
I mean, it still says Cecil Thorn in a different kind of block
like little name plate, but it seems to belong to an era.
And taking it in and stuff like that,
you realize that like everything from the windows
to even the door that you close,
what you thought was just the normal door of the gallery
when you first opened on the other side of it.
On this side, looks like this door that was made,
the door knob was made from a different time period,
like brass.
I'm going to help me decorate in my office
and I'll walk over to my desk and I'll look to see if my stuff isn't still there.
Oh, you're still there.
You're still there.
Everything in its place and stuff like that.
You start shipping through the, you know, you're all your pens.
You know, they're different kinds of pens, but they're, you know, you would have pens and stuff like that.
Everything's there, but it's just organized and situated in a time period, in a different
time, kind of time period.
This is, this is my office, but it's not my office.
It's not at all the way decorated.
It's definitely not your stuff.
Some of this looks like you have taste.
I resent that.
I actually, I mean, all of my stuff is and I'll start pulling out papers and I'll even pull out like a, you know, a six
pistol shooter or a six, you know, chamber gun, kind of check it. Look, regardless of that, I think we all need to be
honest here. And like I was saying in the hall, I can't be the only one who has experienced something like this in the past, right?
I can't be the only one who has experienced something like this in the past, right?
Oh, that's the first one for me, but...
Oh, okay, maybe that particular thing, but...
Yeah. Shit's not right in the world, and I can't be the only one that doesn't notice it.
No, you're not the only one. I've seen something like this, not in specific, but it's not the first time.
It's a little better actually.
I just find it very ironic, or maybe not ironic, that the fact that I'm in a group that seems
to already know things, like that other side. Yeah, who are you?
I think you can we can we synchronize our energies first before we start moving forward?
We've got a lot of talk about before we start game plan and what comes next.
Yeah, we can start by finding out who you are and I'll point again to the doctor.
Um, doctor is a door a door. and I'll point again to the doctor.
Doctor Isadora Thorne. Are you on the guest list?
No. Wait.
Isadora Swan.
I'm sorry.
I was like, wait.
That was a wait.
She's a lucky one.
Take.
Are you my sister?
Sorry.
No.
Just a little spacey there for a minute.
I apologize.
Doctor Isadora Swan.
I'm Cecil Throne.
Anybody doesn't know that already.
And I'm going to point to everybody.
Like just...
Hugh Letho.
Fantastic.
This is called to boi.
The idea of it has been...
What the fuck did happen?
You don't want to get into it.
They won't stop talking once again going.
Really simple. Those that get it, get it.
I don't get it.
It's up to...
Look, alright, since we're all on the same page here,
we all understand that there's something fucked up. I say we try to track down Mary, the basement's an option, but there is the front. Maybe we just get the hell out of here.
I think that's a very nice. I'll reach for the police are going to be a lot of help here. I mean, there'll be something. There'll be a distraction at the very best for us to get out of here.
If those things are absorbing people, are eating people, returning people into things, and
they find a way out of this gallery, they're going to shut the block down. If people realize
something's going on in here, the police aren't going to...
What is the worst... I mean, I can't be any worse than now. So I said-
I'm just that thing in there said that it needed us, our bodies, to complete whatever
covenant it was making.
I'm scared to add any more bodies to the fray.
So you're saying it needs us, it needs to kill us all?
I think that's what she was getting at.
Well, then obviously, our priority needs to be to get the hell out of here so they can't do that. And so it can keep chasing us, right?
It's gonna keep coming.
Better chances out there than sitting around here letting you get us a better picture.
You are an optimistic fella, aren't you?
I built my entire career on my optimism. You better believe it.
I like it. You need that.
Yeah, okay.
I've tested the lives so far. Now I've got a gun.
We've got a hell of a chance. Let's just make a break for the front door now.
I think we should change priority.
I think maybe we should check the front door, but I think we should change priority. I think maybe we should check the
front door, but I think we should barricade ourselves in this place. What's
question? What are we on the second floor? We are on the main floor. So you were on
the second floor, but now you are on the main floor, which is where the gallery
like where you first entered in and stuff like that, where everybody was initially mingling.
Does this office have a window?
This office does have a window.
Well, what's outside the window? Is it a parking lot or is it that's where I'm sure?
What's outside the window?
You want to look out the window?
I would love to look out the window.
All right.
Okay.
What's that?
Cecil's office has like shades on them, like heavy,
heavy like reddish curtains that was an overcourt.
You go over there as everybody's discussing what they want to do and you open it.
And what you see outside is not a parking lot
or any distinguishable feature of what would be outside.
It just looks like a weird reddish subspace
that you've seen to him.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, to see if you can get the police to answer your call.
It's gotta be a way out. There's always a way out of everything. There's gotta be a fucking way out.
Darling.
This is a boy to hell, probably.
Look at that.
There was drawings on the ground. I mean, it's a ritual. There's ritual and everything
that was about as deliberate as it gets. You're an artist, you understand me.
Maybe there's something in the art. Maybe we have to look at those paintings.
There's some kind of message. So I made a message about how to get out of this.
That would mean that again it's us versus them. And if they get us, they get what she wanted and mortality.
Well, darling, what else are we supposed to do?
I want... what we all want is to get out of here,
but we need to come to terms with the fact that that means stopping those two.
Cole, tell me your mother told you something about this.
Tell me you know something about what the fuck is going on.
No.
She didn't tell me anything.
She just stabbed him.
They were married for like 30 years and she just stabbed him and then she said that she
just needed all of our body.
What the fuck does that even mean? Of course she didn't tell me anything
Good to know this coming should a fucking scene this coming from her
She wouldn't do anything like this. This is this is insane mean, I know she's a bitch, but she wouldn't just
kill a bunch of people for no reason.
It is like a cold.
Your mother didn't tell you everything.
Not everything about her and what was happening.
Mother, what the fuck do you know?
Your mother didn't even kill a bitch.
What you should have, you don't know a single thing
about this.
Drag the hell.
Your mother was dying.
What?
A few weeks ago, she and I, we had a moment I shared my secret.
She shared hers.
She admitted that she was some kind of cancer.
She wouldn't give me enough details. I just
I just took an entire fucking gallery of people with her.
Obviously this was all part of some kind of plan. I don't know. I just figured at first that it was just
one last hurrah for her. I didn't I didn, I didn't realize it was going to be this.
The idea got too big. She became obsessed. I was talking to your father at the barn. He said that she's been obsessed with this artist chasing down every lead that she could, that she knew him in a past life. If she was dying and he was selling
the story of eternal life, I mean, who's going to say no to that? Call me, either you're that heightened
awareness or your repressed memories. Okay, one of them's plus three and one of them's plus zero.
Which is the first for my kids.
Repressed memory.
Okay.
I wasn't sure.
I knew that was going to be a difference.
12. As you kind of mentioned the conversation he had with your mother, you just start to have
just these weird glimpses back to the basement, back to down there remembering that moment where you thought that there was the end.
And then your mind kind of shifts back to moments with your mother
and earlier childhood moments when you got to spend quality time with her before the rift
to spend quality time with her before the rift kind of got you.
And then you start just kind of seeing
what it curious to be like visions of
somewhere on the French countryside.
And you snapped back. I mean, we went to France a ton when I was a kid.
That's it. I just thought she was bougieing on original.
It's probably where she got all the artwork from all these trips.
She only mentioned this guy, ossing like once. Well, as we know,
are your your mother's very good at
hiding things? She just, if this all had
to happen today, there's a really
strong chance that she wasn't herself weeks before this exhibition
that do the mom you know is still
extant. I don't know but the person that did that wasn't her.
The mom I know was a shithead anyway.
Yeah. Yeah.
Doctor, I'm sorry for telling you to shut up, but I think it's time we all make a decision
about what we do next.
Well, I'm going to close the curtains back up because I'm done looking out the void
if everyone else is.
I am at a complete.
I'll be honest, I'm processing that we're in the very scapes of hell.
I'm sorry, can you repeat the question?
I mean, if that's where we're at,
there's got to be a way out. That's how hell works.
There's contracts.
There's deals.
We can get out of this.
That is true.
There are deals that can be made.
It's a ritual.
No.
The only deal we know so far is that they need us.
But that's their side of the deal.
We have to figure out ours.
Cole, you said something with a ritual.
Do we do something?
Do we try to stop it?
Is there any way to undo it?
I don't know.
I mean, rituals usually have,
and like, she keeps touching her face and her hair
and slowly like the blood from her hands
is, is crusting in her hair
and like across her cheeks, across her neck.
And it's, it's kind of horrifying.
I'm going to approach and try to calm.
Like breathe, like breathe.
If you want to put influence over coal,
you can roll and influence other rules to get that help.
Sss.
I'm, let's see.
Patrick charisma.
Let's go.
Interesting, but hold on.
Wait, if I'm okay.
So where did I get helpers?
I feel like I'd be doing the same thing.
I can tell the coal, I need to find out something about coal.
There's a help, you can help,
you can roll plus attribute to see if you can assist.
I have a.
What's crazy with that?
Yes.
Plus attribute. I'm sorry.
Which why I think it's a bit.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
Yeah, we're okay.
That's okay.
So I got no. Live is. Yeah, it's a 10 for me. So you can add a plus one.
You're gonna pass one. So that would be a 12. Thank you. Yeah. Hey.
Cool. You you are feeling reassurance here from Isadora and from Cecil who are coming in, but you have
the choice to how you want to complicate this or how you can set how you want to feel
about this.
For sure. Cole takes what they're saying and tries to settle it.
But as soon as they start getting closer,
she starts getting really claustrophobic
and that's them out of the way
and crosses the room away from them.
The ritual had bits of things on the ground.
So what if we just destroy the things that were on the ground?
This is good thinking. The symbols, the transformation happened in the ritual once,
was a part of something that became alive in the ritual leaves the circle. Sometimes it takes a bit
of it within destroying the circle might not end everything. We might have to destroy what it made as well.
Question you, you made the dolls. Yeah. Can we have them go destroy or they're not that strong,
but I do need to make more. They could scout for us. They could listen like they always do.
for us, they could listen like they always do. That's it.
Actually, quite.
I'm on board.
It would be nice to have them be useful, yes.
Good. Yeah, I can make some.
I can make some now.
And mid starts looking around for Mati Rai.
Well, maybe we ought to wait until we can get down to the vault
and see if Mary's okay. and if anyone else has survived,
and there we could focus on creating them on planning.
I don't want to walk around without them. I need to have one.
What do you need?
And I'm going to motion towards the office. Is there anything here that can help?
I just start bawling pieces of paper and like rubber bands like
whatever
Like personified human form I can make with what's around me. I start making them. Okay
Would anybody like to observe your situation?
Absolutely. Yes
Yeah Absolutely. Yes. Yeah. I'll make that kind of pass.
And if you guys are choosing to stay here or bunker down or move on, let's see.
Okay, the consensus is we're going to move on.
So we're probably trying to figure out if it's if the coast is clear.
But, yeah, you there there are enough like documents and stuff like that.
If you want to start going, you just rifling through
like Cecil's filing cabinets in his office,
what's in his desk, you absolutely can start doing that.
Yeah, I think I do.
Is there anything that could I also check
for anything that looks relevant towards art theft or missing
insured items on the desk or what I'm looking through.
You want to investigate?
I do.
Then roll plus reason.
That has nothing to do with what we're doing right now.
Oh, we're about to.
Let's go, Mant.
Let's see.
Plastic ease.
Who is observing the situation while Mint goes investigating?
Mint, hold onto your roll.
Because of 13.
18.
I got a 15.
15.
Cool.
I rolled a seven.
I think coal is fully now realizing how much blood is on their hands and
on their face, and they're just trying to find a way to scrub it away.
They've lost the plot of what's going on outside.
Sure.
Eli, is there a way that instead of observing, I could look at the items that have changed
material in the room, the 1940s comparative to that old ghost modern,
and see if I could see through the illusion
that's happening here.
Yeah, absolutely.
Let's roll that.
You roll that whole that.
Let me get through the our observers first.
Cool.
You are allowed to still ask a question,
but you don't get the plus one gain to your role. Is there a question
you want to ask? I think what is the greatest danger at this moment? Probably. The greatest coming to terms with all of this and you're sorting yourself out. You hear the
screeching happening into the back. You know that it's probably within the
main hallway. You notice the spilling out of of everything going on upstairs and
the form of what was formally
a lano to set coming out of there.
So you're hearing more heavier movement starting
to culminate now on the same floor that you are all.
But that is all.
Cecil and Isadora. You guys can...
Two questions.
Two questions and a plus one to your next role.
Oh, that's good to know.
So, at my two-way.
Yeah, what should I...
Yeah.
Can...
So, if we hear the trouble is coming, that three-headed thing is somewhere not far.
My main concern is we get to the front door and it's just as bad as the window.
It's going to be, yeah, maybe our only chance is the vault.
But Mary Jansen is down there.
I think, I guess my best way through this is what I'm asking. Is it better to go back to the ritual chamber,
the atrocity exhibition,
or is it better to go down to the vault?
Which way is my best way through this?
You got one of those doors that has one of those window,
like a sliver window on it,
so like kind of like people can peek in to see if you're even in the office.
You kind of like start peeking through that down the hallway where you came and you can
see just things moving, people being dragged away by those creatures that had initially
grabbed you. And in the background, you can see even one of the things you mainly notice is that you
start seeing the other versions of those corpses and stuff like that.
And it seemed to be hauling down the paintings that were into boss gallery.
They seemed to be bringing it down to the main floor.
And as you're observing that, then you see Alonno's, the creature that was once Alonno
kind of move into your peripheral kind of blocking now, everything given his entire
mass. What the fuck are they doing with those paintings? They're moving them.
Somewhere else, somewhere in the wider area, I don't know.
If the frontboards are just like that fucking window, then maybe we do just have to barricade ourselves in the vault.
What's your second question?
Is there something I can use to my advantage?
Is it better to stay in the shadows or is it better to like just be in the light the
way it was in the exhibition?
Um, I realize I'm asking multiple questions and one.
No, that's fine.
Um, I get the general gist.
You know, okay, so you, you notice that where where you're going where you came from is not accessible
But again, you had
Was traversing through something that was much more discrete much more
Quieter we should stay in those tunnels I get that question. Yeah, that might be the safer
It seems to be the more mobility, more way you could be
mobily moving.
It doesn't seem like these things are aware of the secret back tunnels and stuff.
Maybe we stick to that.
Whatever our next play is.
Okay.
There's a door, yeah, there's a door, ask your two questions.
Okay.
Mm, okay.
Cause I'm kinda also looking around,
trying to find,
for the hallway,
I'm kinda seeing that direction of like the back door area,
that the halls.
Is there anything we, like, I can use to my advantage to get to that area?
Because the weekend.
What you see the hallway is fairly long but at the end of it you see what looks to be
the same kind of service door that you had initially entered.
So there might be an access point to get back into the tunnels there.
Your advantage is in this hallway is that maybe to, maybe midway into the hallway, there's another room that you could
probably run into if you need to hide somewhere else temporarily. So you see a point where you can
stop hide, let danger clear, and then make another break for the door if you need to. What's your second question. My second question is...
Huuuck!
You know what? I like old faithful. Okay, I see that that is the door and that
hidden. That's the best way. But what is being hidden for me that I'm not aware of?
That's my favorite question.
It's me. It's me, you.
It's a great question.
One, two, one, two.
I'm telling you, it is the best question.
I need to know.
Stand by on your answer.
Mid, have you completed making any one of your dolls?
I think at this point, they've got a really rough combination that they've got.
It's like paper's wet paper rubber band together and there's like a
like two dents on the face to form eyes. That's kind of what it needs to be, but it's small.
Okay. What also did you roll for your investigation? 13. 13.
Um, 13.
You may ask one question from the list below. The information comes at a cost determined by the GM, such as requiring someone or something
for the answer exposing yourself to danger or needing to expend extra time or resources?
Will you do what it takes?
So the questions are, how can I find out more about what I am investigating?
What is my gut feeling about what I'm investigating?
And is there anything weird about what I am investigating?
I want to know what my gut feeling is about what I'm investigating
because originally it was Cecil is slimy he probably has something to do with it
and it has that changed since I've gone through his desk.
Okay. You start pilfering through Cecil's drawers.
And you don't find any documents in regards to him dealing with any art trafficking or
deeming with anything.
A lot of his stuff deals with more of like clients managing people
and general costs of assets and how to bring wealth into his stuff. You know, you don't have
enough time to fully like go through those accounting measures that he kind of has and stuff like
that to wonder if the books are correct. But you notice that that's kind of, he's more involved in the accounting
and the money accounting of stuff.
But as you're kind of investigating all of that,
you start to get to one of Cecil's more bottom drawer,
something like deeper, and as you kind of reach back,
there's, you know, a dark leather bound like folder
that seems to kind of be back there, Cecil.
As you are kind of assessing the situation,
trying to figure out your next move,
trying to be the leader of the situation,
you feel something.
In the back of your mind, just etching and scratching
of something, off, wrong, tense.
You remember that in the moment when you first made contact with the thing that has been
ultimately helping you run this gallery in itself, and you start remembering the time that's running out
and the fact that someone has not yet signed
what needs to be signed.
I say don't touch that and I walk over to mint
and I try to grab it from her.
I wanna take that from her.
I'm gonna hold on.
Yeah, hold on to it.
Wow, is this very cocking this exchange?
This is what you're clocking. This is my work. This is all done to it. Wow, is this very cocking this exchange? This is what you're clocking.
This is my work.
This is very important to me.
Let me have it.
And I'm going to try to grab it from her,
even if it means acting under pressure
or engaging in something I've got to calm that.
I think mint thinks that this has something to do with the case
and is now refusing to give it up.
Sure, I mean a rule.
Let's, uh, whoo-hoo-hoo.
Yeah, let's engage in, uh, you can make the choice. Are you violently trying to get this back
in which you will engage mint in combat?
Or are you just trying to keep it cool, dignified,
and political to which you will roll act under pressure?
Mint, you will not act under pressure.
Yeah, I'm trying to just make it smooth.
Just a typical bully tactic of just trying to act under pressure,
swooping and grabbing from her. Both act under pressure. Let's see how that rolls out.
Pam, I rolled a nine. I rolled a ten. Oh. I will take the higher rule. But is it But Isadora, you're watching this obsessive, like, pool way of the soulder, and you realize
that it is something of significant importance.
And it picks up your intrigue of something.
Hey, we're equal.
Okay, we're equal.
You saved me.
I'm dropping the lawsuit give it back
What's going on
She has something of mine that's mine who come from my desk. It's my property give it to me. What are you a toddler?
I was gonna say I'm a toddler with a gun give it to me
Really you're gonna go fucking crazy now
really you're gonna go fucking crazy now.
Just so you know you shoot that
that thing's coming in here so I
think out of all of us maybe that
wouldn't be the smartest thing.
Do we have to blame the man who's
being stolen from? I'm gonna walk up
to you as he says that I want to say
that what she has it's for you I
wanted to give it to you that it's
this is going to help you it's the you. I wanted to give it to you. That is, this is going to help you.
It's the thing that I promised you.
We have to get it from her.
Oh my gosh.
When we first got in here, you said we all had some connection
to the weird shit going on outside.
And then when we were talking about what happened to Mr. Blah,
you said that she gave you her dark secrets
and you could give her hers.
What is it?
What, why is that any concern of yours?
It's not, no concern of yours at all.
I don't think we owe each other any of those answers.
We're in a hard, too much trouble
to be talking about something like that.
I don't know.
Who was saying this earlier about like you need to know
and trust people around everyone here?
If we're in hell, we might as well look,
guys, we're already in hell.
We might as well know all of it.
Okay.
Close and stand in front of Mint.
So everyone is going to sit down and talk about
what's wrong with him then.
We're all gonna spill everything that we have.
And why not?
We're already in hell, like I said.
Well then, as a show of good grace is,
why don't you give my man his paper back mint and you can start we'll go in a nice little
talking circle and you can hold the talking stick otherwise I'm starting to see
that the three of you are seeming a little aggressive in a situation where
we're all gonna fucking die anyways that motherfucker just said he was going to
shoot someone
that was just a plain old passive aggressive.
I didn't raise the gun.
Mm-hmm.
I think that all the time you had the scariest this is.
Right, okay.
I'm just trying to collect the insurances.
You said you weren't, you said you were going to drop the charges, but...
But that's not enough for you?
Not if it isn't in writing.
I'm not saying you email me now,
but I would like some sort of leverage
until we get out of here.
So we're blackmailing each other in the first layer of hell.
We're here.
It's probably like bad can we do?
Listen, there is some good that we could be doing.
If we could just get past whatever the fuck this is,
fine, fine.
If you guys agree to tell yours all agreed to tell mine,
but I want that book back.
After you go.
So I have to be held hostage and be the first one to speak up.
You're the one getting all,
you volunteer just now.
It's your building.
So if you want, I can talk first.
Maybe it'll only give some sympathy.
No, no, no, I'm a big boy.
And I can show that I can fucking, you know, it's all good.
It's all good.
Fine, I'll go first.
I can fucking, you know, it's all good, it's all good, fine, all the first.
It's a, that's just a contract, okay, it's a standard contract.
I have a fucking, I'm an Esquire, I know all about contracts, and this is just another one.
And it just so happened to be the contract that made me who I am.
And I was ready. I was at a time in my life
that I was ready to give that contract
to somebody else so that they can benefit from it.
I was going to hand it to Hugh.
That's it.
That was my big secret.
What does the contract do?
It makes you like me, it makes you successful,
it gives you what you're looking for.
Hugh, you haven't written a book in years.
I ain't in there.
I know that if you sign this, you could have it.
You could have what you're looking for.
The sumble, the long, specific.
It was for the book.
It was for whatever you want.
You can have whatever you want.
You just have to sign.
Take it over from me.
That's it.
Yeah.
I have a question.
Is this the medic toward him, Letho?
He's just...
Trap like the rest of us.
I'm trying to offer you a way out of this trap. That's what I'm trying to say.
It's a net good.
Yeah.
And when you're done with it, you just gotta get somebody else to sign it. That's it.
Question. Who did it. Question.
Who did it come from?
Since it was given to you.
My patron, don't worry.
That's the name.
What's their name?
My benefactor.
You happen to know name.
Come on, what's the name?
The law offices of Burton Ernie.
You're a terrible liar.
You always have been.
I know if you're going to do it, do better.
Are we in their neighborhood right now?
Maybe.
I don't know.
I don't know where they reside.
They just came to me. Man.
They tossed the book on the table exactly what I fucking thought.
I'll just immediately snatch it like it's precious to me.
I crash it. I'm gonna do that.
Just walk away.
Sorry about your SEO, Lepho.
Yeah. It's okay.
You just thought he was helping. That's what he always thinks he's doing.
Hugh, you rolled a sea through the illusion. I did. I wrote an 18 when I did. Nice.
You perceive things as they truly are.
And that is towards the overall room or is it now towards this moment?
You know, it started as he was looking at the 40s items, so it's totally okay if that's
where it's going to center, but I do know that this shift has come to this huge conversation. So you're you're able to apply wherever you would like it.
I'm interested in what where you're going with this. So I'd like to hear in context of this conversation
or in the energy of this room right now.
She was somebody who experiences an inflection on your person.
You see through what Cecil is trying to get across, that this persistiveness is driven by something
more than he's leading on.
And somebody who is equally running out of time,
you kind of notice that it seems that urgency
is more on his mind as well.
Cecil, what happens if you don't pass this thing off?
We're all being honest, you know, exactly what the fuck happens if I don't pass this on.
If I die, my soul is forfeit. Yeah there's a lot of that going around. But please look
cute. You were on my side a second ago. Don't make this be like such a bad thing. I was able
to succeed. I was able to get exactly what I wanted out of this life, get just have to pass the buck.
I don't know if the buck's gonna help me anybody.
I don't need help writing a book.
It was nearly finished.
I stopped writing.
Then what, well, what do you need?
You need money, you need health,
you need to feel better, you can get it for you.
I think as Cecil is describing all of this,
he was taking off the coat,
and then the associated sweater, and then his blazer,
and by the time the blazer is off,
and Cecil is still continuing,
you all would see that one arm, his right arm,
is considerably larger than the left, You all would see that one arm, his right arm, is
considerably larger than the left.
So much so that the fabric masqueraded enough when it was collided over him, but the dress shirt He's tried desperately to drape over is cuffed with very nice cufflinks on one side and on the right. There is this
metastasized flesh
that is almost like cancer cell built itself up
into this massive build all the way up to the shoulder.
And where the cuffs don't fit on that right arm
is a massive iris and eyeball
that sits in the center of the wrist's flesh
and then is populated by thousands of tinier eyes
and irises that then move on to medium-sized builds
and then climb up his arm until you can realize that anywhere
there is peaked flesh on his right arm,
aside from his vained out hand,
there's another set of eyes that is growing,
blinking, moving, and staring.
And one of them regards you, Cecil,
and he looks square at you and he says,
I was just looking for a little more time myself.
Q, as you are revealing this up to you,
you all of a sudden are overwhelmingly filled
with pain as all of these eyes start to move in different directions and then somewhere
on a spot that has either been healed over for a bit or something like that over your scarred
arm. Another eye just starts to stretch, expand,
and then open.
I'm gonna get closer, almost investigating this thing.
It's like,
I've been trying to keep it under control.
And as far as I can concentrate on my best days,
I can keep it to my arm,
but it started at the wrist a year and a half ago. Interesting. And it grows. Noted. I've never seen something like this, but I think this
helps. I think this can help. He can do anything. He made me from a limp dicked, no
nothing, no money to a winner. And I think he could do it for you. I swear to God, I think
he could do it for you. Will you let you say that name? I mean, I think I'm okay. Yeah, I think I'll be fine.
I mean, that would be kind of ironic if you went back to being a little dick. I mean, it all goes away.
If it all goes away, then you're,
this isn't a cure, then, is it?
It's a bandage.
It's a way out.
That's what it is, okay?
It's a way out.
And I'm offering it to you, Hugh,
and I'm like trying to drown them out.
I'm like, really eyes locked on you.
See, so, if you really want me to sign that thing, I will. I'll give that to you. Seasoul. If you really want me to sign that thing, I will.
I'll give that to you.
If that's what you need.
But I'm not doing it for me.
Okay.
Alright, yeah.
Yeah, let's do it.
Let's sign it.
Come on, come on.
I'm-
I'm-
I'm-
I'm-
I'm- I'm- I'm- I'm- I'm- contract. Wait, what the fuck? You heard them in. And that's why would you do that? Why the fuck would you do that? You know, this is a
patently terrible idea. What the fuck are you doing?
Listen, we're in a situation right now where we're all sort of hurtling towards
the end. And if I can make it easier for him, I was already halfway out the door, kid.
I mean, in a sense, I think we all are, we all came with a skull on our invitations.
At least me and Cecil have been able to tell you why our skull is on the paper.
I'm taking this deal because at least we could do something with these last few breaths while the
howls are still moving outside those doors before the fuckers do whatever they're going
to do.
I'm doing it because maybe if he gets a soul, they'll let me have one later.
I'm just passing on to someone else.
Some other poor sucker.
No.
This thing is coming with me.
I can respect that, I guess.
Okay. Well, that's fine in the context of whatever this weird
inheritance is, but I didn't have a skull on an invitation.
I didn't have an invitation to put a skull on.
I still have odds to get out of here, and I'm going to act with that in mind.
So team thing, unless you regret crashing this party.
Depends on if I live or not.
If I live, then I think my career is a great jumping off point
because I think it a whole art gallery disappeared the moment after I finished performing.
I'd like to explore that possibility though.
I want that for you. I don't.
I really think you can just go back to art after this.
I can't stop.
I have to do it now.
It's gonna be what's getting me out of here
and it's gonna be what keeps me from getting back.
Here again.
So the fuck does that mean?
Is it secret time for you now?
Gone.
I, the dolls are helpful.
I mean, you saw everyone stopped while I was performing.
I mean, I'm great, but not that great.
It's something that gives us a little bit more time,
maybe just a little bit more attention.
And they hear things for me that I can't hear.
So you live on attention? What they help you stay alive somehow? That's ridiculous. And it is performance art. Exactly. It's only attention.
Exactly. And then she regards herself as still covered in porcelain powder.
regards herself who's still covered in porcelain powder. I have to stand out continuously, and the art crowd is getting older, no offense, you,
but I have to find a way to kick up attention.
You're saying you need attention or bad things happen to you.
Some theoretically.
I've also never failed, so I don't know. But.
So you've never seen what happens when the candle goes out?
I don't know.
No.
How do you know it's anything?
Got close.
What happened?
I made a move and fell off a building.
Ha ha ha ha.
Can you stand there, Mike?
I'm not doing it.
Didn't want to gamble.
You shouldn't have done it then.
Oh, okay, contract man.
Exactly, you don't ever enter a contract. You don't know exactly how it's gonna come out.
You literally said you don't know if all the shit that you got goes away at the end of the contract.
You don't know half as much as you pretend you do.
And I'm not going to hell and I just, I don't know.
Tell me. That's what you have for crashing parties.
How much is up giving silly little quips?
I want you to tell us your secret, Doctor.
Yeah, you seem awfully interested in a lot of this.
As a door is a door of contemplates, speaking up, you all hear a slam up against the door. Just interrupt this moment as
you guys have been here maybe a little too long getting situated. But as you kind of hear the slamming,
the slamming seems to be more repetitive of something. And, you know, seeing that small slit, as you guys all turn around, you see a tall,
uh, ebony man in with a, like, yellow, like, gold pocket.
And Hugh, you clock William Reeves, who was also banging up against the door.
And that is where we're gonna end to
No, no, no, no, like a little like just two seconds
If he alive
What is it just his head like what are we looking at?
Just like I thought but like they're like panicking like out on the door because they the door is locked his head, like what are we looking at? You see, you see, you see, you see, you see, you saw people just talking about,
but like they're like panicking like out on the door
because the door is locked.
That's good, that's good.
He's gonna have some context we need.
Oh yeah, but yeah.
Yeah.
And we got like a three out of five back stories.
Yeah.
I thought it was a run.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Oh yeah. Really fun. Yeah, I was a block. Thank you guys all for joining us tonight. If you guys love Colt Divinity
loss, be sure to check out the website ColtRPG.com where you guys too can get
your hands on the court book as well as many of the several modules that have
been written, which one is the atrocity exhibition.
If you love what you just saw tonight and want to hear more, we got tons of different things
going about.
Some of our most recent stuff is our Tales from the Loop campaign, a little mini campaign
set out in Wake Win,
Colorado, Montana.
Not you were there.
I was there.
Yeah.
I actually think of Colorado for some reason.
It's Rob.
It's Rob.
Yeah, everything we do with the Rob is in Colorado,
which you should also check our Colorado series,
Orpheus centered around Crucible as well.
And their shenanigans. We have Vegas by
night, which is our vampire, the massacre raid campaign run by Caleb featuring all of us here.
And yeah, tons of other stuff that you guys can check out on our YouTube or a BOD or podcast-friendly
stuff. So be sure to check on it that. And lastly, we'd love to thank Red Moon Row Play,
whose contributions to this actual play,
and having us fall in love with a divinity loss.
As well as Helden Gas, the publisher.
Helden Gas, the publisher, yes.
It's been an episode.
It's been so much fun.
This module is amazing. But other than that, thank you for joining us and have a good rest of your weekend.
Bye!
Have a good night! you
