Hey everybody, Alden Ford here along with Seth Lind and Mujan Zulfagari.
Hey.
Hello.
We are here with a very special reminder and a very special announcement as we sew up our
last episodes of the show, which by the way are truly bonkers.
There's some stuff coming up that is both...
Outlandish.
Outlandish.
Yeah.
But also very sonically complex.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
We are so excited for you to hear them.
But as we near the end,
we are not only excited for these crazy last couple episodes,
but also
all of the fun stuff we have
planned. Yeah.
Well, first, I think everyone should right now
run to their physical calendars that
are still hanging on the walls.
Take out that red pen that you used to
circle jobs in the newspaper and circle
the date, Sunday, April 10th.
Mujan is 78 years old.
What? She looks for jobs in the newspaper and has a physical calendar on the wall.
I'm going to be a working girl.
Yeah.
Anyway, this is our way of telling you that we have that big live show coming up on Sunday, April 10th.
Yeah, Sunday, April 10th at the Bell House in Brooklyn.
You might remember CRedIT5 having told you about this at the top of our BTS episode,
but we're here to share some of what you might expect at this bonkers show.
Yeah, we are going all out on this one.
It's a matinee show, which really appeals to the elderly septuagenarians like Muzhan.
Coming.
Wow.
Led with matinee.
It's at 2 p.m. in the afternoon.
Crazy as it gets.
But it's an overstuffed show.
We're going to have crazy guests.
We're going to have amazing giveaways.
We're going to debut some brand new merch at the show.
We're going to do trivia.
We're going to have a great time.
And afterwards, we're all going to go out to a local watering hole as a group
and have some fun together and meet each other.
Yeah, it's a live show but it's more than
that it's a celebration of the end of zix before we get to the series finale yeah it's like a
preemptive wake yeah and also if you can't make it let's just say you live very far away there's
actually going to be a live stream that's available for everyone to watch and because it is a matinee
it happens to be perhaps a time that per other time
zones it won't be a bad hour hopefully quickly get your european friends into zix uh it's 2 p.m
eastern which i believe is 6 p.m or 1800 gmt as it's known around the world and there are things
we will not tell you about this live show that are happening that
we're very excited about yeah we don't want to give things away so don't miss it and also most
importantly at all we haven't even said this something you will like you can't expect a live
show this is big spoiler yeah is um jantawa oh sure there will be a lot of that. Mujan language. Sorry, I just wanted to put it out there.
Anatomically correct, but still dirty.
It's a matinee.
Very descriptive.
We really hope to see you at the show, and if we don't, we really hope to see you on that old live stream.
But Alden, where are the tickets?
Oh, I'm so glad you asked, Mujan.
Now, if you're purely depending on your calendar and your newspapers at this point,
you may be disappointed to know that you have to buy tickets on the internet.
Well, you can first put on your calendar to get internet installed, get a computer.
Exactly.
And then the next thing can be going to missiontozix.space.
Or thebellhouseny.com.
Yeah, the first one links to the second one, if you can believe it.
Sure. Tickets are $ links to the second one, if you can believe it. Sure.
Tickets are 20 bucks for the live show,
but you can watch the live stream
for the low, low price of $10.
Yeah.
So plan your travel to either the place in your house
where you'll be watching the live stream
or hopefully the show.
Yeah, exactly.
Warn the couch.
In addition to that friendly reminder,
we also have a very exciting announcement for you.
Truly.
Yeah.
If you happen to not be among the elite few who follow us on social media.
It's rare air over there on our social media page. Then you maybe have not heard about what is perhaps the most ludicrous thing we've decided to do after a series of ludicrous decisions in making this show.
Yeah.
Alden, you're kind of responsible for this.
Do you want to describe it? including orchestral cues without the voiceover, so you can hear every last one of those 65 instruments.
Original songs by Shane O'Connell.
A.K.A. Jordan Bacorkin.
Yes, yes.
Some brand new surprises that you haven't heard yet,
and we're releasing them on a full-length,
stuffed-to-the-gills, impeccably produced,
remastered vinyl LP.
And we're doing a pre-order for this because it is such a crazy thing to do that we want
to make sure we get an accurate headcount.
People have maybe even told Alden not to do this.
Some advised against it.
All in caps, perhaps.
Yeah.
It's possible that emails were only a subject line that said, why?
We're sent.
Why are you doing this?
But history shall prove me right.
In fact, we actually already launched the campaign last week,
and we have already met our goal,
and we are well on our way to our first
of several amazing stretch goals for this crazy vinyl.
We have brand new cover art by Eric Gois.
We have an amazing brand new poster that no one's ever seen that will be bundled with the vinyl.
We've got a bunch of crazy stretch goals like colored vinyl, a brand new top secret collab between two characters.
And even at a thousand records sold, a separate 45 RPM single of two of the show's greatest hits.
And not to tiny toot our own captain horns but um
wow but wow never use that name sorry sorry mujan but we reached this goal in one day from posting
this on social media and yeah that means the record is definitely happening but fear not we
are adding a brand new super premium tier that's's right. Just this very moment, we have released
a brand new tier for the vinyl, which includes a second full length album, which is the first
and last physical release of Bermafunalities by Bermit Nundeley. So if you have a little extra
croon, you can get both the record and Burma Funalities both albums are signed by us
in addition if you buy that tier Burmette Nundaloy will crank out a little ditty a little custom
ditty for you that's right yeah and also you know there are artists and then there are artists like
Burmette Nundaloy you know it know? It's true. It's true.
We don't have to elaborate on what that means.
I'm not sure which direction you're going with that, Mujan,
but you're absolutely right.
But truly, we are so excited about this album.
It's not just a ridiculous, ambitious, silly thing we're doing.
It's something that I think really elevates
and showcases some of the amazing work that Shane and Brendan and others on the show
have done and given it a platform that I think it really deserves. And so it's really exciting for
us to be able to release this in a really cool package in a way that sounds really great.
Yeah.
And if you're worried about the 44 minute runtime of a standard LP, don't worry. We are also releasing the entire track list of the LP
as well as dozens of other tracks
that didn't fit on the record as a digital download,
which you will get with every purchase of the record.
Or if analog is dead to you,
then you can also purchase just the digital version
for a small nominal fee.
Now, did we already say where to get this or where to go?
Actually, Mujan, you bring up an excellent point.
You can find the link to our campaign on our website,
missionisx.space.
Ever heard of it?
Click on the big picture of the record.
Yes.
And related to the music,
we wanted to leave you with a little something new.
Yeah.
As you know, for the last three seasons, we have been utilizing a 65-piece orchestra to
record our intro and interstitial music.
As we close out the show, we've one-upped ourselves once again, and we are adding a
24-piece choir to the mix.
We just recorded with them this week.
They sounded phenomenal.
They're so good.
We can't wait for you guys to hear them in these last moments of the show.
And so we're just going to leave you with a little taste of things to come.
We will say this many times before we close out the show, but thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for being with us on this crazy journey
we are so excited for you to hear
how this particular story
ends and
thank you also for your patience
as we get these last moments
sewn up in all of
their ambitious ridiculous sonic
glory yes
and Jontawa
Mujan, don't...
