Welcome back to Mums the Word. I'm your host Kelsey Parker. Today from Mother's Day special, I'm joined by two amazing guests. We have three generations today. We have my mum, Diane. When they say what do your mum and other family members do? Oh you was gonna say. I was yes. She was gonna say what did your dad do?

What do you say to them? My daddy was in a band. Your dad was in a band? Anyway they always play daddy's music don't they in your class? Only one, Glad You Came. They play Glad You Came because one of your friends Autumn came out and her mum was like, she knows all the words to Glad you came, but your teacher plays it, doesn't she, for you? What do you think my job is? This! Yeah, which is what? Remember the words.

Yeah, what else do I do? Actress. Yes. Well, not anymore. Yes. Will be to be soon. I'm going to get back into acting after I've had the baby. What do you do? Oh, know! What then? Baby.

Having a baby, that's not a job is it? What else is a job? What did you do last night? Oh Lorraine. Yeah we did Lorraine last night. We did a campaign didn't we for Lorraine? March for March. March for March yeah. Oh I know what else. Yeah. Louis campaign. So mum does campaigns. Campaigns, campaigns, more campaigns, influencing. I'm an influencer. Do you not know that? I do. I influence people. What's influence? What do you think that means? Don't know. You don't know what an influencer means? No. What do you think influencing someone

to do is? Get them to school. Influence them to go to school yeah what else what could you influence someone to do? To buy something so you you've done about Bluey yesterday and what you're trying to say to people is this is the best toy you enjoyed you did think was a good toy didn't you? You did think it was a good toy because you and Bo were fighting over it. And you were crying. She's literally leading you all into a false sense of security here. She's putting out that she's like this really sweet innocent little girl but everyone knows I talk about you all the time on this pod and things that you say and do. Oh yeah.

So what do you actually think of me as a mum? I want the baby to be a girl. That's good. Anyway, what book did you pick at school the other day? Yeah, can we just talk about this book, right? So at her school, we had to wrap up books from our house. This is for World Book Day, wasn't it? We had to wrap up books from our house. Now that would be silly, listen.

So she's picked up a book that says This is for a little girl who's going to be a big sister to a little sister very soon. We were like... Could you read the words on that book? How did you know to pick that one? Could you actually read what it said? No. No, exactly. So why did you pick that one? You just were drawn to it. Honestly, it was so weird when she came back. So we will see when the baby's born. Am I having a girl? Because Aurelia has picked this book that says that I'm having a girl.

Like you could be right, or are you just putting that out to the universe that you want a little sister so badly? I'm putting it out to the universe. You're putting it out to the universe. Why do you want a little sister so badly? What's wrong with having a little brother? Well...

What do you think you're gonna do with a little sister so basically having a dolly to play with which we call it Annabelle baby Annabelle because it's gonna be a real person isn't it but Bodie really wants a boy if it comes out and it's a boy you're gonna be upset cry no you're gonna cry and then what will Bodie cry if it's a little girl? That poor baby being born, someone's going to be crying, neither you or Bodie, and not happy. No, I find it like a boy or a girl.

Oh, good girl. So she don't care. So we need to talk to Bodie and talk him into that. You need to speak to him. And say, look, Bo, the baby's going to be either a boy or a girl. We both have to accept. Yeah, I'm not saying that.

Why not? We both have to accept. it could be either or a boy or a girl but what about if it likes boy stuff and it looks like girl stuff? because Winnie likes boy stuff and girl stuff. yeah that's true and Winnie does like touching my lip so really what you're saying it doesn't matter what sex it is, it will play with either or the toys. And also the baby will, the baby's, well, when it's not a baby, when it's actually walking and talking. Yeah, you've got quite a way, more like when you're, how old are you now?

Five? But she's going to be six when the baby comes, well. So more like you won't be playing with the baby until you're about seven, yeah. Do you think the baby is going to come on your birthday? Yeah. I hope it doesn't. I don't, I just don't think. So at the moment my due date is June the 30th.

Is there any other special day on June the 30th? But remember Rayla's birth due date. So she was a week early. You came a week early. Bodie was two weeks early. Well I was supposed to be in January. Well you're not staying out there a long time then, didn't you? She needs some rest. Four months, she was six months late. Six months late. So you thought June, in January, you came in June.

Can I have some drinks? Sorry, sorry guys, she needs a little drink break. Here you go. So Ray, what does Mother's Day mean to you? When they say Mother's Day, what does it actually mean? What do you think it means to you? Get mummy a present. Get mummy a present.

Yeah, a big shiny present. Or just thinking about your mum and making sure she's alright on that day. Yeah mummy no. You're not doing that? No. We're actually be on holiday on that day. We're gonna be on holiday and I'm gonna be laid on that sun lounger and I'm gonna be going right and clicking my fingers and you're gonna be the waitress and you're gonna be coming over and you're gonna be bringing me drinks ice cream food it's my day. And mum what about me? Night. And you're gonna be doing coming over and you're going to be bringing me drinks, ice cream, food, it's my day. Hang on, what about me?

Nanny. And you're going to be doing it for Nanny as well? No, no, no, no, no. No, I'll get Bobby and Max to do it for me. Do you think Bobby and Max will do that for Nanny? Actually, you're going to be her slave. Yeah, that's right. You can sue me.

Because she's my daughter and I'm the big mum, so I should have all the... I'm not saying her. You are? Nobody is. Arania. What? What do you think of Nanny? Kind of.

Their prize at the end of the point chart was to go and play with their parents so me and Will, Kelsey and Dean and we took them over the park and they got to play in the playground and then they got to play a game of football. What names do you like for the baby? You actually picked a name last night didn't you and it's actually quite a nice name if it's a girl. Violet Rose Parker Lindsay. Violet Rose? Are you a Rose? Is she really a Rose? Well you can't have two Rosies. Yeah we can. What do you mean? You can. Well I haven't got the same middle name as Julie have I? Well someone can! I suppose you can do what you like can't you?

Do what you like mum. She likes Violet Rose Parker Lindsay. Or Daisy Rose. Oh Daisy as well now that's... Daisy Rose Parker Lindsay or Isla Rose Lin... No Parker Lindsay. You've got to pick an original name. No I don't have any. What about Demelza?

Sorry for any Demelza's out there. Yeah mum. I like that name. I know you like that name. That's what she wanted you to be called Demelza. I mean she actually could have been a Demelza. No. Demelza? It comes off a cold arc. Yeah, I know. She was a great character, that's why I like the name. I don't know anymore characters. So when you were in my tummy... What? And actually, no, it was when the boys... What was Daddy's name?

The one he wanted me to do. Yeah, because Aurelia, you didn't choose Aurelia till last, did you? No, I feel like... Well, Daddy picked Rose for you. Daddy picked your middle name. He liked Rose. I feel like your dad liked, we liked Dusty for you. Do you like the name Dusty?

That could have been your name. That could have been. This is what I had for you. Dusty Ray Parker. I loved the name Ray. I also had Nova Ray Parker. I really loved the name Nova, but there is so many Novas now.

And now what? And I really liked Tiger Lily for you but Bob and Max told me that you could not be called Tiger Lily and that if you went to school you might be bullied with the name Tiger Lily. That's what the boys told me. So we weren't allowed to. Yeah I don We wasn't allowed. I don't like Tiger Lily. I don't like Tiger Lily. Tiger Lily! Tiger Lily come here! Imagine your teacher's calling you that.

Tiger Lily! I love Tiger Lily. No. And then Bodie was always going to be Bodie. Because I actually had... Oh, Bo! Yeah, well we call him Bo. But his name's Bodie.

I had Bodie as a name for you. If you were gonna be a boy, your name was gonna be Bodie. So we always loved Bodie and Bodie was from Point Break. I loved the original film Point Break with Patrick Swayze in, but Bobby... When did Bobby want my brother to be named? Bodie. Bobby picked the name. What? Who's that? Well, they didn't really have a name for you. We liked Bodie if you were a boy.

The boys were just hoping for you to be a boy. What? We didn't have a boy with Bodie. No, he wasn't born, was he? He wasn't born. He was just a thought. I liked Drew for you. That is a bad name. Is it even in Minions? This needs to be a TikTok. That's what people do on TikTok. I didn't choose this name.

There's an answer I liked. Drew is a really nice name. And at your school you have another Aurelia, don't you? Nice in reception though. What do they call you at school? Miss Davies called me Aurelia. The one I had before, Miss Zebrahan yesterday, she called me Ray. When do I call you Aurelia?

out of there like a rocket I went to Julie's house and I said I went into the bedroom I went call me when the baby's here yeah and that was it I was gone because I think actually listening to your mom you went straight up and said get in the bed and then you got in the bed with me oh yeah when I came back and it was snowing wasn't it snowing when Bobby was born I came back and he was beautiful 21st of February snowing Rania who's your favorite uncle Bobby I love Bobby yeah well what don't they might listen to it. We go somewhere and you literally make a best friend really quickly you leave mommy and you're like oh I'm just with my new best friend and that's what your mom used to be like. She loved making, she liked, you like people, don't you? I love people. I love talking to people. I love meeting people.

I guess this is why this is my job. Yeah, so you're just like your mummy. Very outgoing, very show-offy. What do you want your job to be when you're older? Anyway, she's gonna be an actress. She's a star on the stage. They all wrote on that all that info They wrote about you on her latest dance competition Yes

They said that she has got so much stage presence and you can't teach that and born to perform So you are gonna smash it girl because it is hard For mummy when she owns the dance school and then you're going and you're winning But really out of all the other children that I teach you probably get the least time because you spend your whole time at K2K Being rude to me, Kelsey That's true, isn't it? Even just before the competition You were so rude in front of all their mother parents and then Bodie can be just as bad And then you went and you won it and you didn't just win that competition you won the whole thing

You've got the highest score. How much a hundred you got nothing wrong. You got a hundred out of a hundred But did you and you were against yeah, but they didn't know that that wasn't part of it What does mommy say if you don't know what you're doing? Do a cartwheel and a spin girl if you forget what you're doing you just cart cat with a spin. Do a cartwheel with a spin girl. If you forget what you're doing, you just cartwheel and you spin. And you've got to own it. And you do. You can actually improvise and no one even knows. Show them your face you do. Oh that's lyrical, that's lovely. And what's your attitude for the singing one?

Must be something you're born with to all think you're the favourite. Bobby thinks he's the favourite. What advice would you give me now I'm going to be a mum of three?

Right, so my advice would be to not make too much fuss of the baby, make lots of fuss of Aralia and Bodie. I'll carry it. No, because it's not a toy. No, you can't. It's not a toy and you have to ask me and you'll be sat down and you'll have a cushion on you to hold that baby. You do not just go and pick that baby up.

So I reckon that the less attention... I can just ask you to put it up and put it to dinner. The less attention that baby gets, the better. Well if I ask... Because it's not a toy. Because I can see that baby being dragged around everywhere. If I ask her to carry it to dinner, then she might say yes or no. You're also...

The more we leave that baby, the better it will be. It will turn out to be the best baby ever. Sleeping from feed to feed. It could be like a third time lucky, couldn't it? Actually right, because you actually were a nightmare of a baby, Raelia. You did not stop crying. You actually cried from the moment you came out of the nun. Your mum was the perfect baby. You literally did sleep eat sleep eat, so I reckon this

one is going to be absolutely... Also, I feel like Will is a lot more chilled, isn't he? How many more questions? Isn't Will a chilled person? Yeah, really chilled. He's really laid back. But also are you, really. Yeah, I am a chilled person. Until I'm not a chilled person. But that's like most of us.
