Got them all. Saw them when they came out. OK. All those weird, like, I don't want to call them weird, but all those videos of people getting way too hype in the theater. I was probably in the background of one of them, like, doing a backflip, like, yeah! That's why you can't call them weird, because you literally are one of these people. It is him.

So which Marvel movie do you want to be cast in? Oh, man. I mean, any of the future ones. Someone who doesn't die. I want to get on the Marvel bankroll. I'll be writing to my pecs. I love that. Oh, my God. Yeah, it's really key to be a character that doesn't die. Yes. You could be in these movies forever. But some of these characters, you think they die, and then they don't. Nick Fury, we said bye-bye, and then we said, oh, hey, hey.

I was so confused. I was like, wait a minute. Don't we see him later? How does he die? But that was good, see? Yeah, I did appreciate it. Wait, Ify, do you read the comics too? Do you know like unmovied properties?

Oh, yeah. Yeah. No, I definitely have three long boxes in my storage right now. I stopped collecting because after I had to move with those, I'm like, I'm done buying these comics. And then people were like, we're going to go digital. And then comiXology is under fire right now. It's on fire. They're moving it. And now it's not as readable. It's a whole mess. Yeah. Wait, no. That's what I call him. You know, I got, I feel like I got bumped down to acquaintance. Like before, you know, he just met Naomi. He's come over to my house. We were watching the finals. But then it was like, it was when Call Me By Your Name came out. And I remember I texted him and I was like, congrats. He was like, oh, thanks, dude.

And then a few months later, I text him again, get that green text. I was like, uh-oh. Oh, no. He changed that number. Timothee, Timothee, if you're listening you sound like you sound like nell that's how i say it because that's how it's spelled it makes sense to me um well that's huge i'm i can't he had to change his number i'm sure everyone was coming out of the way he went to acting school you know his shit was like blown up. You know, it is very funny.

We all like a metal arm around here. And so, yeah, I was on board. Winter Soldier was truly like the hype. A lot of people at the time, because a lot of people will, you know, look back and be like, yeah, that was the one. But a lot of people at the time was hating on Winter Soldier.

Oh. Hot take. Liked the Winter Soldier. Oh. I, hot take, liked the Winter Soldier. Yeah, I loved it. It laughed very hard when that man was like in the street and Captain America

was like, Bucky? It's just so funny to call a villain Bucky. It's truly the best one that we've watched for sure. But it gives me hope too

that it's going to get even better, that we're going to enjoy things more and more if people now say that one's not the best. Well, yeah, because the fun thing about it is you're having to go through all this, like, intro stuff, which is why it's been rocky. But now you're off to the races. Like, the pawns have been set.

You're going to start seeing all these movies interact with each other. It's going to be super exciting. Yeah. Which is your favorite one well my favorite of course is going to be black panther which is why no no other than black panther well then i'm gonna cheat and say the winter soldier because this is when the black panther was introduced uh i was i this was the wait black Black Panther's in The Winter Soldier? Well, we don't see the Black Panther. We see when Bucky

assassinates the Wakandan dictator. You see, oh, that's Civil War? Oh, I'm too early. Never mind. This movie sucks. So wait.

we're kissing on this escalator yeah so you liked it but her makeup artist did not like her her makeup artist said let me throw bronzer wherever I can I will not open my eyes while I do it and then I'm going to send you right on camera and not give you a mirror

And I was like, there's barely any women in this movie. And I know you had a budget. How come you didn't get someone good who likes Scarlett Johansson? Someone was like I'm gonna make it look like shit the budget went to the skin tight shirts

and trainers you know like by the way like wow uh huh yeah wow I was like are those CGI muscles like what's going on the muscles were out of control they really were this was kind of like a a sexier movie for

me and there i mean there's like only one kiss but i was like he definitely fucked that bitch in the bed that he thought was dead that old lady they fucked and you know they did she curled her hair on her deathbed for this man to come visit i have a lot of thoughts about that fucking old lady because there was a point, first of all, the first second you see her, she like turns her head like she's young. Like she's like looking at the picture

and it's like so easy for her to turn her head even though she's literally about to die and she's 100 years old. And then her hair is so beautiful. And then her face was basically like a face app, like a filter on Instagram. Like it's kind of floating over her mouth sometimes. Like you could see if she like over her mouth sometimes like you could

see if she moved her mouth too much like the old lines were like whoops we can't find where we're supposed to go the director was like stop acting your fucking thing is coming off it's too hard i felt like they i was hoping that there'd be some technology to make her young and so she could get to have a one last hurrah with him or something that would be nice but i do think they had the hurrah in that but i i would never curl my hair for a man if i couldn't get out of bed and life was hard do you know what i'm saying like if i'm trying to look good we're probably fucking she deserved it at that point for sure she's waited she waited a long time yeah when you wait that long you got

Blade was the first Marvel, like, well, it wasn't a Marvel movie, but it was the first comic book movie that really made people go, these can actually be good. But everyone always gives it to the Spider-Mans because they're racist. Wow. Or Spider-Man, I think, three, where he's jazzy. Maybe that's what really stuck with people.

Yeah. No, I think it's because people often don't know Blade is a Marvel property. It is like a vampire samurai who's a black dude. What? I was like, yeah, no no that was in the comics baby that was that was that was like peak when you look at like early blade you're like this is peak marvel 90s lots of pockets swords for no reason just guns you love it that sounds great are there a lot of other black Marvel characters? See, that's where we're having a problem here. So you see where my mission gets harder is every time someone's get cast, that's one.

It's the clock strokes darker for your boy right here. So I knew I wasn't going to get T'Challa. I was too young, still too young for T'Challa. Blade, technically still. I'm in that weird, like, college age. And there's not that many college age, unless we do aged up Miles Morales, and everyone would be mad at me because I took it. But that's good. That's good, though, because then as you get older, you're going to have more and more opportunities.

I think that's perfect. It doesn't work that way for women, you know. Yeah, yeah, yeah. they don't want me wait i don't think i could be in a marvel movie there are no fat people with speaking parts in marvel movies that i've seen so far except for the hulk oh the hulk oh my god i'm trying to think and you might be right, Nicole, but you're going to get a text at like 3 a.m. when I find out. Okay, the second piece of news in the daily bugle the academy award nominations were announced and the four films released by marvel studios in 2021 only uh shang chai is am i saying that right what shang chi shang chi oh god i was so wrong say it again shang chi and the legend of the Ten Rings and Spider-Man No Way Home are among the nominees. Both were nominated for visual effects.

Many also suspect that the two added categories, fan favorite and cheer moment, were an attempt to throw some unofficial love to the MC. There's a cheer moment? There's a cheer moment at the Academy Awards? At the Academy Awards? Yeah, they're trying to. I want an Oscar for cheer moment. I mean, like, I'll take it, but that sounds crazy. Yeah.

Wait, that's, wait, what? Yeah, they added the categories because they're trying to get the Xennials. They want to, they want to, so the Oscars are trying to do. And so that feels like. So in the Oscar for best cheer moment goes to. Yeah, that sounds like an MTV movie award. Yes. Yeah.

But, but it's also like kind of cool to change up the Oscars a little bit because it's been around forever. And it's like, yeah, categories change. We have a totally different model now for movies. And there are good movies that aren't the same as Call Me By Your Name or something. But also a lot of these movies have been nominated in different categories. So it's kind of interesting. I don't feel like we have watched one yet that should get an oscar um but yeah you're right maybe i don't know the visual effects on scarlett johansson pulling off her old lady face were real high tech okay wait i did actually like that and i was like

well because i was like this is actually kind of good for the time like it was like Did you? Well, because I was like, this is actually kind of good for the time. Like, it was, like, kind of cool. Yeah. I just like that old lady fighting. It wasn't like she pulled off an old lady mask. You know what I mean? Oh, I wish that's what it was.

Marvel Studios debuted the first trailer for the upcoming Disney Plus series, Miss Marvel, which will introduce Kamala Khan, a Muslim teen superhero from New Jersey for the first time. And there's a trailer. This is exciting.

Let's, let's go and get Asian Hulk in here, which that's not his name, but there was aulk and they made him asian and people were mad at first but then he was tight and people loved

him let's get him in like i want everybody i mean i want everybody like let's go through and and every time that's so cool yeah no it's so true because watching that trailer just now i was thinking about how cool that would be for little girls to see that like it's just like it's just amazing i mean yeah it's so special and she looked like a little girl like she looked like just a normal teen and she wasn't made up to the nines and i was like i like that yeah not a cw teen yes part of what we were talking about like as we've been watching these is that like because we're so removed from this i think i at least always forget that they're regular people who have a superpower and then to like see yourself reflected is just so important that's so awesome oh yeah oh i love that i guess marvel's great and we love

little dated just a usb drive that's it like this like big cameo from one of the formerly one of the greatest MMA fighters, GSP. Oh. Yeah. Oh. Yeah, GSP was like a big MMA guy at the time. That was really, he's like, I live in the computer now. I am a computer person. It was so goofy.

Steve reveals to the staff that they are Hydra infiltrators in S.H.I.E.L.D., led by Pierce, and they cannot be allowed to infiltrate Project Insight. I hated this. Yeah, and I didn't like this whole Zoom thing that they were doing where they were having a Zoom meeting in those chairs. but I sort of liked how they had that whole place looking but anyways, okay, I'll keep going. Romulo and his men threaten an agent unless he launches

the helicarriers. Agent 13 intervenes starting a revolt on Captain's orders but Romulo still manages to get the helicarriers in the air. Back in Pierce's office

one of the world council members takes off a mask revealing herself to be Natasha which was not a mask it was a digital rendering as she peeled off with her hand like it was a screen and i loved it and she begins to upload all the shield all of shield and hydra secure files to the internet no fury arrives dramatically on the scene and uses his eye to de-encrypt the file so they can be leaked it was

so dramatic but then i was also like, does his eye have a power? How does his eye do that? I know, because I thought he was like, I lost my eye because of whatever. Yeah. It was confusing. Anyway, Steve and Sam managed to get control of the two. Also, when did Sam get wings? Did I miss that?

pierce's office the upload has finished. So much uploading in these movies. However, using his mobile device, who's using the mobile device, to trigger a small device in the World Security Council member's badges, instantly killing them. Wait, who did that? Robert.

Oh, Robert Redford, yes. He be killing. Then Steve gains control of the final helicarrier, and Maria Hill changes their targets to each other. Natasha complies as Pierce's hostage, giving her time to disable her security badge while Fury shoots and kills Pierce. They escape and grab Sam from the crumbling building. Meanwhile, Bucky continues to fight Steve before he passes out. Steve promises Bucky to be with him till the end of the line. Something Bucky said to him after his mother's death. Steve then falls into the water and is dragged out somewhat mysteriously by Bucky.

Steve wakes up in a hospital with Sam at his side. S.H.I.E.L.D. is now unstable. Agent 13 has a new job at the FBI. Maria Hill now works for Stark Industries. Fury goes off the grid. Natasha appears in a congressional hearing and challenges the U.S. government. The group meets at Fury's grave, quote unquote, because he's not dead, where Natasha hands Steve a file with information on Bucky and what Hydra did to him. Sam volunteers

to help him search for Bucky and bring him back to who he was. In a mid-credit scene, Hydra leader Baron Strucker, Thomas Gretchaman, holds Loki's scepter in a lab in Sokoba. Then he walks over to a pair of cells containing the only two survivors of his experiments. One is a man, Aaron Taylor Johnson, who's running around at tremendous speeds. I was concerned. That was stupid. It was so dumb.

The other one contains a woman, Elizabeth Olsen, who is like levitating a few blocks. This was like very Matrix-y to me and she causes one to explode this is wanda and paitro maxim maximoff oh my god these names strucker says uh that uh that this is the age of miracles and then in another post-credit scene by the way my disney plus stopped playing it and put it into a little square and moved it across.
