You escaped the lake through underground smuggling tunnels with Walder, the awakened horror, who was once Kenley's partner and split up there. The three of you heading towards the lab and him heading towards the area of the state. Once in the lab you overheard Carlisle Locnamore preparing to frame Stella Vervein for the horror attack before he was called away. While Fia set to obtaining the twy-litium from the lab, Hank and Zirk set to freeing Stella, absolutely destroying a guard in the process. They were complicit. Let it be known. That's absolutely, they were absolutely complicit. They were standing there. It was sick. Nothing to explain. Absolutely. Their wallet

evil plan was being hatched and we're just down to be part of it. They weren't even stooges. Zirk allowed his mom to escape through a rope trick spell but told her that this was goodbye. Meanwhile, Fia managed to steal the Twy-Lidium gem, promising Izzy along the way that she would save Hang Jr., who was still out amongst the horrors. Fiya then delayed the teleportation of the lab by mage handing a lever and overpowering Liam after which she escaped.

I'll get each shit Liam. Yeah, so we defeated the BBEG. Yeah. Let's go. He likely got in a ton of trouble. Right. Yeah, I can't wait to see Liam's second form. Ha, ha, ha.

Hank and Sirk then followed, and the three of you made it to the town square where Hank Jr. was attempting to evacuate the people. Together, you were able to successfully save most of the townsfolk and bring them to the lab. Before joining the others, Hank Jr. received a much-needed apology from Henry who praised his son's bravery and resolved to be more like him, the two made plans to meet up in the capital when all this is over.

And you've now got this whole crew of Deep Folk here who have set up a little bit of a perimeter and are taking them down with ranged weapons as they pop up. You'll see a water weird and then you'll see just like 100 crossbow bolts come in, or Lusper will just come up with a hammer

and just smash a puddle. Oh, be me to it. Circle's on his pistol. Yeah, I was right there. Almost had it. Oh, wait, can we say, I totally forgot something. Can we say that I undid the arcane lock that I put on the seller door at the manor?

Like the deep folk are shooting down these guys. They've got it under control, but they're trying to clear a path so that you guys can kind of retreat easily.

I am concerned about The fairy seem quite vindictive. I am concerned about uncovering better hidden secrets and what kind of iron that might invite Right. Yes. Think about everything that happened with the secret of protecting Sirenesis. It has kept Arena out of harm's way to a certain extent, but it also caused the disillusion of the blades. It caused a lot of them to feel like they weren't trusted. Fia stands very tall for a second. She looks at Mr. Zerks, she looks at Mr. Henry and she says, the blades are not dissolved.

It's a lot of like keeping things from people for their own good. It's a lot of like kind of tricking people into doing good things essentially. And, you know, it's, it's maybe not the most moral thing, but maybe it's for the greater good, but it could stand to reason that Walder probably has some information that maybe, you know, a thousand years ago

would have been a bad idea for everyone to know, but considering that the world is on the brink of destruction here, maybe it would be good to know, you know? Yes, build a beans. Exactly, like the truth about the gods getting out at a time of peace could bring war, but the truth about the gods getting out at a time of war could bring peace. It seems like the chaos of the trickster works in a long arc towards justice, or maybe it's just the entropy of the universe slowly bending towards a desirable outcome.

That certainly seems to be a theme in the books I read. People want this to be the truth. I wonder if it is. That is what I believe. I like to think we're serving a greater good and that the Trickster rewards cleverness. So we are about to be very clever and go try to find out some of these secrets. You see she. You see that the crux is also on high alert. There looks like there was a minor attack here. There are rivers that lead out to the outside world. So you can imagine some horrors probably popped up in here, but the deep folk are a little bit more inherently magical and it's less likely one of them is going to come back as a horror and additionally, it seems like the situation here is more under control.

They're more prepped than the dumb rich people of West Presented. Oh yeah, a lot of deep folk with guns pointed at the water. Yeah, you see some do just like blasting into the water. They get like one water method out and then just like 20 fish float to the surface. Zerks salutes. Got them! Someone call Liam.

The Liam to get the microwave hot and ready. Instead of the power level 10, a walking microwave. Now you keep the microwave. named after the original Zelbaldar. That's a different outpost than the Crux. So instead of hanging around here, he leads everyone to the transporter and after stepping into the rune circle, you arrive back in Zelbaldar 7. Yeah, you throw up a little bit, sir. Unlike the Crocs, this is almost only deep folk. Less merchants feels less of a transient town,

and you see the Luscar points in the direction of the Earth and El Tavarn, and throws you guys a key, and goes, I have preparations to make for tomorrow. Perhaps where Zellbaldar was taken occupies the same planear space. Is it possible that instead of being copied, that it was stolen? This just, it seems like a sloppy version of the way the grobes were created.

There is a river that runs through it that's on first glance looks like water But it's too blue and you look Kind of closer at it. It's like slow moving and there's chunks of black rock in it And you see like steam rising off of the side of it. And it looks essentially like lava. And you guys see streaks of twilightium. This like essentially like lava glass, these like purple gems all along the side of the cliff here.

You see the city is lit up by all of these huge blue flames. Perhaps somehow connected to this lava-like substance that's in this river, you see big lamps that aren't protected by glass. So I guess they're not really lamps. They're just like these big, huge, roaring torches that are almost like beacons, all of blue flame. And in the flicker of the blue flame, you see stone buildings.

Many of them look like dwellings or like, you know, places of business. Strange, inhuman architecture that twists and turns, some of them look like they could fall over it any moment. And you see movement below. There are, you know know bipedal creatures and ones that are crawling along the ground. Others are like running on all fours or slinking along the walls like spiders. Amongst all of the other like torches and big like kind of big blue bonfires, there's

this one huge beacon that you recognize as being the flame that you guys were walking towards. You see, these people are heading towards a large Colosseum like building in the distance. Built of black stone with the spiral architecture that reaches high into the sky, the only thing that rivals its majesty is a castle in the distance, which sits beyond a wall built into the mountain, surrounded by a moat of this like liquid sapphire that falls off the edge like a waterfall. As you guys look over at this massive city, you do notice that it kind of wraps around behind you. As you turn around, you see that you guys are obviously

on like high ground here. It looks like this is almost just an exit to the cavern that goes out to like the outside world which is always just like covered and missed. It does not look like you're at like an area around like the perimeter of the city. which is always just like covered and missed.
