On Display with Melissa Gorga - You Didn't Just Say That (w/ Joe Gorga)

Episode Date: June 27, 2024

Melissa is back with the one and only, Joe Gorga, to talk about the questions surrounding Justin's Timberlake's recent arrest, the big things that you should never say to your partner, and what would ...happen if AI recreated the song "On Display" in some VERY different music genres. Yep, don't worry, they're all hear to listen to.  And because we didn't want to leave Joe out, we also created some different tunes for his highly anticipated single, "Release the Poison." He just must take after his mama and his dada. I love it, so cute.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And another thing, there's a lot of things going on over here today. OnDisplay officially has a new Instagram. I decided to make an Instagram page for OnDisplay. We're also gonna start using a lot more video clips so that you guys can actually see our guests and see us talking. You know, it's been two years over here
Starting point is 00:01:47 so we decided it's time, even though I really hate putting makeup on for this or any, I probably will not have makeup on most of the time. Just know you're gonna see me a hot mess. But anyway, make sure you're following the new Instagram account. It's called On Display With MG. So go to it right now. Follow the Instagram. You'll be able to see all the clips and everything that we
Starting point is 00:02:10 start posting on there. It's very new. So start following. Thanks guys. Joe, wow. Thank you for staying silent and letting me get through all that. Very, very nice of you. It's so good to see you today, Joe. It's always great to see you, my love. Actually we just show I wanted to kill it this morning, but it's always great to see her again. Oh, wow. You want to tell them what happened to us this morning? That was rough.
Starting point is 00:02:33 That was rough for me. Always me. Yeah, that was always me. It was rough for me too. Like I went outside and there were no keys. So why do I always and I have to really say this I it I always take the punishment it always is me I'm always the one trying the one who did it wrong like you weren't Attention. All right. So let me tell you guys a story Joe and I actually had such a cute day yesterday down the shore
Starting point is 00:02:59 It was a Monday and him and I we sent the kids home all with Antonia on Sunday night because the boys, they had to do like football practice Monday morning and they had to be home early and Joe and I had to film something with ShopRite, shout out to ShopRite, my favorite food store. We had to film something for ShopRite down the shore. So the kids went home Sunday night and Joe and I actually filmed what we had to film pretty quick. We were done by like one o'clock in the afternoon, right?
Starting point is 00:03:32 And so we were like, all right. Well, I was like, you're not going back to work. Like you are hanging out with me today. I love a Monday down the shore. Anybody knows that Mondays are the best because- She was getting frisky. She was like, stay baby, store something sexy. And I was like, all right, I'll stay.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Keep telling yourself that. That wasn't exactly how it went at all. Put something cute on. I was like, all right, I can't leave. Show me a little skin. No, I said spend the day. It was a gorgeous day. We live out on the water. It was just beautiful. So I was like, what are we we gonna do now? So we had such a cute day. We actually took a walk together. We went up by the boardwalk. We got drinks together. I had a nice little watermelon vodka drink. It was so good. So did you. And we just had like a nice little and then we met our two friends that live down there.
Starting point is 00:04:18 We had dinner with them at the crabs claw, which is such a great like I love that spot. If you guys know seaside and lavalette and ortley, you know the crabs claw, which is such a great like I love that spot. If you guys know seaside and lava let and or at least you know, the crabs claw right because it's just like a it's been there forever. It's like bands your hands get dirty eating the crabs like I love it. It's so good. Yeah. So we did that I had a couple of glasses and I had a glass of wine over there. You know, yada yada yada. So to make a long story short, Joe and I both had our cars in the driveway when we were
Starting point is 00:04:47 leaving to go towards the bridge into the boardwalk. And he was originally going to take our one car. And I was like, no, let's take the other car. We never drive that car. It's the weekend car. I want to take the Lamborghini. So he was like, really? Why? I was like, because it's here. Let's take it. It's a nice day. Let's drive weekend car. Let's I want to take the Lamborghini. So he was like really why I was like cuz it's here
Starting point is 00:05:05 Like let's take it. It's a nice day. Let's drive our car. He was like, alright So he takes the keys to our other car and he just instead of bringing them into the garage He brings them into the car with us So now I was gonna put him in the garage and you're like just put them here. So I did And normally we leave them in the garage and you're like, just put them here. So I did. And normally we leave them in the cup holder. Someone puts them in the glove box. I did not put them in the glove box. Well, I didn't put them in the glove box.
Starting point is 00:05:33 All right, well to make a long story short, we both decided after dinner last night that we did not wanna drive home last night, that we're gonna just sleep down at our shore house and wake up at 5 a.mam this morning and drive home this morning at 5am both of us because I wanted to go to the gym early, he wanted to go to work early, I needed to get home and she was like there's no kids here let's just get freaky. That's not what I said, that's not what I said like you keep you like make this up in
Starting point is 00:06:04 your head like you just make stories up. Like, bro, you keep, you like make this up in your head. Like you just make stories up. Is that fun for you? He's just like making up stories. She's like, let's not go home. The kid, there's no kids head. Let's get freaky. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:06:19 So I didn't say any of those things. I'm sure you guys can all imagine. He's just, you know, making me tend that I did. But can we please get to the bottom of this story? So to make a long story short, we set our alarms. 5 a.m. we're both up. He leaves quicker than me because I need to have my coffee.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I need to chill for a minute. He takes off, then I decide. Now I'm hanging out for an hour because I figure as long as I leave by 6 a.m now I'm like hanging out for an hour because I figure as long as I leave by 6 a.m. I'm like packing up the car, I'm watering the flowers outside. I pack up all my stuff, I go walking it all out to my car and I'm like, huh, where's the keys? Where's the keys?
Starting point is 00:06:58 The keys are halfway up the parkway, all the way up the parkway actually in Joe's car with Joe So I was stuck at my shore house this morning So I call him frantically and I'm like Joe Joe the keys are in your car come back He's like I'm home, but he was all the way home But it always happens to me what happened feel bad. I was the one I drove. I left five in the morning. I drove an hour and 10 minutes. She calls him 15 minutes away from the house. I got to make a U-turn. I was like, are you fucking kidding me? I'm like, you're the one who did it. So I turned around, drove all the way back while she's hanging out. You know
Starting point is 00:07:41 what she did? I pull up to the driveway, she comes out with this little outfit on, this little workout outfit, this hat, big sombrero hat. She comes out trying to be all cute. She's like, hey, hey, walk in front of me. What are you doing? I just worked out. I might as well. I was sitting here waiting. I worked out. I'm like, that's great. That's great. When I knew that he had to turn around, he was like, it's going to be an hour and 15 now. I have to literally turn around and go back Parkway South and head all the way back. And he was living and I felt bad for him.
Starting point is 00:08:12 But I was like, okay, so what am I going to do now for an hour? Like I'm packed up and ready to go. So I just turned on my app and I did a full blown workout. But I have to say, it's always me getting fucked. You should have remembered the keys. But it's always me. I'm always the one. I have to keep driving. I got to do this. I have to say, it's always me getting fucked. No, really. You should have remembered the keys. But no, it's always me. I'm always the one, I have to keep driving, I gotta do this, I gotta,
Starting point is 00:08:29 and you're always hanging out at home. It's, but I'm always just, it's always. Well, let's do it this way. If I switched cars with you, and I took that car home, I would have had to turn around and come back to you. You know what she said to me? She goes, I gotta get my hair done.
Starting point is 00:08:43 She had to leave. I'm like, really? I gotta I'm like really I got a hair appointment today and we have to do a podcast later I gotta get home. So I drove and it was an hour and 10 minutes there hour and 10 minutes back an hour and a half back oh please. It was rough we had a rough morning but we're here we're with you guys we missed you guys I am you know I feel like I haven't had Joe on in a minute. And when Joe's not on you guys miss you miss us and
Starting point is 00:09:10 you miss Joe. So Joe, what's new in your life besides the fact that we had to drive back and forth down the shore? 50 times today, we had Joey's graduation. Yeah, Joey's graduation, my son, my little guy finally graduated our little baby graduate, and he's he my son my little guy finally graduated our little baby graduated And he's he did a nice little speech and his mother posted right she so she posted Oh my god, he got so upset these kids get like they get so embarrassed Take it down
Starting point is 00:09:38 He was father's like Joey you did great. You did awesome. You spoke really nice. It was, you know, we're very proud of you, Joey. He wanted it. Take it down, please. What do you think it was? Why? What do you... He's embarrassed because like the... I said, Joey, everyone at your school just saw you stand up and do the speech.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Like what do you... Who are you hiding it from? It's the other schools, mom. He was like, it's the other schools. The other schools are gonna watch me do the speech. And I'm like, but you did the speech so well. And he's like, take it down. And I was stressing him.
Starting point is 00:10:10 It was so stressful to him that I deleted it. I deleted it, but then I put it back up again when he went to school. And then he starts texting me from school with video messages. I see what you've done here, mother. I did. Nice try. And then he just gave up on me. I was like, you're
Starting point is 00:10:25 my son. You're my baby. I'm proud of you. And I want to show everybody your speech. He was like, Oh, that's funny. So he just gave up. Right? Yeah. He just gave up on the whole situation. Well, you know what? I also got another I got a comedy show coming up and August 17th at Harris was Frank Catania is going to be the host. Frank Catania and then you got John Futa and Joe Beningo too. Yeah, I got them. I'm teaching them a little lines. Yeah, but do you have, are they able to buy tickets yet?

So make sure you guys look for the tickets for that. They'll definitely be posted on Joe's social media on all the guys' social media. And also Joe and I are going August 15th, I believe. Starting point is 00:11:53 Boston in the house. I love Boston. Yes, we love Boston. Every time we go to Boston, Boston and Chicago like so much love, so much love. You're looking hot and I I think greens your color babe I think you did you see what I was wearing when you got home from work and then switch your yeah I switched I want to be just like you that's right oh my god that's cute say you're looking good you wanted to match me you're
Starting point is 00:12:17 looking good yeah I mean we look cute I like you know man oh I made a match forever if you ever watched the Real Housewives of New Jersey For like when the kids were so young you guys my boys always had matching outfits. We always all had the same we were color Coated we all had matching little beanie hats on all the time like we Dressed us. You gotta keep dressing like that. Keep this relationship going You're lucky you have a wife that just I get I I got bored here and there, you know what I mean? I can't eat the same steak. Oh, here we go. It's 20 years now.
Starting point is 00:12:50 So go get a freaking hot dog. You got to change that shit up. Go get a hot dog. You want to hear a funny fact that we were talking about with the eighth grade? Do you know, because Joey just graduated eighth grade, I just read a story that 23 sets of twins are set to graduate from their middle school in Massachusetts from the same school. 23 sets of twins. 23 in one class?
Starting point is 00:13:16 They graduated already actually from a Massachusetts middle school, which makes up like 10% of the whole eighth grade are these twins. Come on. Isn't that crazy? Whatever's in the water eighth grade are these twins. Come on. Isn't that crazy? Whatever's in the water there. I think that's so crazy. 23 sets. That's, that is.
Starting point is 00:13:31 They're identical and fraternal twins. Wow. Yeah. So shout out to Pollard Middle School in Needham, Massachusetts. I would love that. It's Twin City over there. I love it. You don't even care because I've taken you to one of these before and you really didn't care. Your birthday? No, my birthday is in March. Do you know what tomorrow is? No, what's tomorrow? We are going to go see Justin Timberlake. Even though like, holy shit, like Justin Timberlake.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Yes. He's got, he's in a concert. He, what do you mean? We're going to see him tomorrow with all our friends. But what does he sing? Isn't he in a boy band or something? Does he have songs? You can't say that.
Starting point is 00:15:47 You can't have this conversation with me on my podcast. No, I'm not saying nothing bad about him. What is his songs? He's in sync, Joe. He's Justin Timberlake. What do you mean, what are his songs? But that's a boy band. I'm bringing sexy back.
Starting point is 00:16:02 Oh yeah, I know that song. Is that his song? Oh my God. just don't talk. You really shouldn't be taking one of these tickets. Like you don't deserve to be at Justin Timberlake tomorrow. Honestly, like you really don't. No, you don't because you don't know you're not like I should take my sister. You're not like an appreciate it. You know, so wait, what does he say? Wait, listeners? Have you ever taken someone to a concert before and
Starting point is 00:16:26 you are so excited to go and you know every single word and like, your partner has no idea who the person is no idea who the band is like they're just there for the good time but like, they're not really vibing that's gonna be Joe Gorgra with me tomorrow night at Justin Timberlake like, he's not gonna vibe he's gonna like what song is this like, and I'm gonna get so annoyed I just I'm gonna be annoyed because I feel like we need to get somebody who diggies hot I always do think Justin Timberlake is a very handsome he's hot man although he is gonna get turned on or
Starting point is 00:16:58 so I mean he dances pretty well and I am attracted to a good dancer there's nothing wrong with being turned on. Is that bad? Wouldn't you like that if I got turned on? Nice, now I gotta go sit there and watch my wife drool over some guy. He's Justin Timberlake. You better come home then and take care of business.
Starting point is 00:17:19 His wife, by the way, is gorgeous. You better come home and do that thing with that girl does. That new girl that's floating all over the internet. Tooie, she spits on it. Oh my God. That's what you need to do. We didn't get there yet, but Jesus.
Starting point is 00:17:33 Yeah. Wait, so not only obviously we have to discuss this, like we're going to a Justin Timberlake concert, but he was driving, he just got a DWI and there's new stuff out, guys. I guess the bartender said he really truly only had one martini before he left the American bar or the American hotel in Sag Harbor, which is so funny because we go there all the time and we're always there. Poor guy. I know. I mean, not poor. Listen, we don't ever condone driving while intoxicated, but at the same time, if they check his levels, I don't know. I don't ever condone driving while intoxicated but at the same time like if they check his levels I don't know I don't know if the levels came out yet or whatever
Starting point is 00:18:10 I'm saying is poor guy I don't want anybody getting in trouble you know it's just what I mean I know but you're Justin Timberlake so like why didn't they call an uber that why is it the driver just like sitting there I mean we have our we our friends have drivers we have drivers just like sitting there. I mean we have our friends have drivers. We have drivers just like waiting when we're out and about. Like why is Justin Timberlake like where's the driver at? You know like hey driver come get your boy. Maybe he wanted to drive. Maybe he wanted to drive. He likes to drive. I like to drive too. You know maybe they want to I don't know. All right but you can't drive if you're partying. You can't drive if you're drinking. And he had a drink. You know, maybe they want to, I don't know. All right, but you can't drive if you're partying. You can't drive if you're drinking.
Starting point is 00:18:45 Maybe he wasn't going to drink. And he had a drink. You know, the cop, the cop that pulled him over was like 24 years old. I always, I always wonder like the cops. So it would be like you pulling him over. You would have no freaking idea who he is. You'd be like, uh, who are you? You wouldn't even know. The cop read his license and still had no idea who he was. Well, the cop was 24. You see what they're doing now? All over the internet. They're, they're paparazzi following him. He was on some boat with his family and like they got video cameras on them. They're taking pictures of him.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Why? He's like the famous cop now? Yeah, he's the famous cop. He arrested Justin Timberlake? He's 24 years old. He's like this young guy and he's, you know, he goes, I follow the rules. So now some people hate them. Some people like them. I don't know. I mean, listen, you have to follow the rules.
Starting point is 00:19:29 There's no if, ifs, ands or buts, right? Like that's it. I don't care who anybody is. But was he really that drunk? I got forbid something happened. It was somebody got hit, got forbid. And that was, you have to follow the rules. There's no questions about that.
Starting point is 00:19:41 But like, this is just like a public service announcement. If you can afford a driver, get a driver. And we all know that Justin Timberlake, he can afford a driver. Maybe he can't afford it. Oh Joe stop. We don't know. We don't know who he is. We don't know his financial. So trust me. But we really don't know what's going down with him. Who knows? Maybe he's got some issues. He's good. Maybe that instinct money's gone. I don't know. No it's not gone. Who knows maybe he's got some issues he's good he's you know maybe that instinct money's gone I don't know no it's not gone who knows actually on to actually going to see him tomorrow night at Madison Square Garden Madison Square Garden man what's gonna make that night tomorrow make some money tomorrow
Starting point is 00:20:15 Joe's just all about the money he just he'll be like, what do you think he made tonight? 32,000 seats as such as such. Joe will try to like figure out. Yeah, he's hot. He dances good and he got money. No money, no honey. My God. What? I think he's delirious, guys, because he woke up at 5 a.m.
Starting point is 00:20:42 And now we always get up early. Why don't we go see somebody I want to see? For instance, go ahead. Beyonce shaking at, you know, booty or something. So I could be all there like, I want to see somebody. I would die to see Beyonce, I'd be very happy. There's this new Spanish woman out there.
Starting point is 00:20:58 She shakes her ass on stage, like she puts a G-string on, what's her name? I don't even know, but she shakes it. She has this amazing move. Shakira? No, it's not Shakira it's new girl she's like hot in the Latin world oh do a do Alipa nope nope I don't think it's her I don't know I don't think it's her she knows we can guess all day because you will never I have no idea so anyway moving on I'm very excited to see Justin Timberlake tomorrow that is gonna be so much fun.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Are you excited a little bit for that or no? Like are you just looking at it like a fun night out? Like very excited. Can't wait to go see it. Can't wait. Bring in sexy bag. Can't wait babe. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:37 Just don't sing. Whatever you do, do not sing while we're there. Like please. You're so crazy. It should be a girls night. It really should you're not gonna appreciate this Everything's a girls night everything but this is not for you. Do you want to bring the girls to play golf? Really? No. Okay. Well, there's that answer I mean when you go with the guys to play golf or the girls like gonna have fun that day. No
Starting point is 00:22:04 Yeah, you guys come to do everything you guys look the guys to play golf, are the girls going to have fun that day? No. Yeah, you guys come to do everything. You want to do what we do. No, I don't want to do what you do. You do. Well, you want to hear this? This is a good lead into this conversation. I read an article, okay, and I saw Kelly and Mark discuss it too a couple days ago.
Starting point is 00:22:24 But there's a new article out about things you should never say to your partner if you want your relationship to survive, okay? So I don't know, like I'm gonna go through them with you. You tell me if you agree or disagree, but this is basically things you should never say, okay? Okay, go. Or it can cause a say. Okay? Go.
Starting point is 00:22:45 Or it can cause a problem. Ready? Yep. She's never say you're overreacting. You should never say that. Do you know why? Why? Because you're like invalidating their feelings and they're hurtful and they really feel a
Starting point is 00:22:57 certain way and you're telling them they're overreacting, but to them it's a big deal. Well, I hear that all the time. You are always overreacting. Never. Why? I'm the most chillest person you'll ever meet. The most chillest? Chillest.
Starting point is 00:23:13 I'm the most chill. I'm so, whatever. Most chill? I am so chill. It's so, it's scary how chill I am. Well, can I tell you what the article says? It's like Alaska. It's so chill.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Oh, that was good, Joe. You like that? That was quick. Yeah. Can I tell you what the fix of it is? Instead of saying you're overreacting, instead of saying dismissive statements, adopt a curiosity as to why your partner said or did what they did, right? So you can better understand them and they can understand you.
Starting point is 00:23:48 So instead of being like, you're overreacting, sit there and be like, okay, wait, wait, wait, wait. I'm not going to dismiss everything that they're saying right now. Let me figure out like, why do they feel this way? What am I doing to make them feel this way? That's how you fix that. And you know what? I have to say, I agree with that 1000%. Do you agree or disagree with that?
Starting point is 00:24:06 Fuck that. I'd be like, listen, you're overreacting. You're ridiculous. Why don't you chill out? I don't know what's going on with you. Chill. Now let's talk. Because you're doing this, this, this, this, and you're saying this. You're overreacting. I'm sorry. Okay. What if you feel a certain way about something though when you're overreacting? I've heard that a million times. You're overreacting. I'm like, well, okay, wait. You know, I like to tell people how it is.
Starting point is 00:24:31 Listen, you're overreacting. Chill out. Take a chill pill. Relax. Let's talk about this. Now this, this is what you're doing wrong. See? Tell you.
Starting point is 00:24:40 It's called communication. I don't want to beat around the bush. You know? No, but that's what this is saying. Okay, what? The fix it of it is to adopt like a curiosity, like so adapt a curiosity. Be like, ask yourself, why are they overreacting like this? Like, why are they feeling?
Starting point is 00:24:57 Let me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Okay, number two. Ready? Well, we didn't answer that one. We just answered it. Okay. Number two. I didn't learn anything on that one. If your partner says to you, you care about someone or something more than you care about me. So in other words, you care about going out with your friends more than you care about me. You care about drinking that vodka more than you care about me. You care about going to see Justin Timberlake more than you
Starting point is 00:25:27 care about me. OK, why? Now, why is this a bad thing to say? Because it assumes your partner's feelings, and it accuses them of things. So it's a very accusatory to say to them, you care more about this than you do about me, because you're accusing them
Starting point is 00:25:45 of that. And you know how you can fix it, Joe? I'm going to tell my listeners right now how they can fix it. Let each other know if you're feeling neglected or need more support or attention without playing the blame game. This allows for space and for understanding, which I agree, again, like this list is point, I'm telling you this list is pretty damn good. But I, you know, I always talk to you about that. I was like, listen, you know,
Starting point is 00:26:13 this is not right. I need to release the poison. No, no, just stop. No, no, I feel neglected. So I always tell you, it's just not right. You're definitely not neglected. I'm hungry. I gotta eat. When you're hungry, you gotta eat. Please, you make, I'm suffering here. It's just not right, you know? You never suffer. But, okay guys, but listen, doesn't this make sense?
Starting point is 00:26:34 Like. Yeah, it makes sense. It does. It does. Yeah. Communication. Like, you need to, instead of accusing them, you need to be like, you need to tell them, listen, I'm feeling neglected. You were out playing golf four days a week and with your buddies at lunch and
Starting point is 00:26:47 like when's the last time you took me to dinner I need more attention I need more like instead of just accusing looking for that little burst of fun in your spare time how about a chance to win big along the way jump into the excitement with love to play calm Experience the glitz and glamour of Vegas right from your cozy couch or on the go. Starting point is 00:28:06 This limited time offer won't last long, so run, don't walk towards your biggest payday yet. That's www.lovethenumber2play.com. Okay, another bad thing, number three, you should never say, you never listen. Don't say that. Why? Because it puts your partner on the defense and it implies a negative judgment of them. So you're not supposed to say, you never listen.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Instead, you should say something like, I feel upset when I don't feel heard. Can we please discuss this? And something like that. Like it doesn't frustrate your partner and create constructive conversation. So they're basically saying, you need to just tell them, like, listen, I don't feel heard. I don't like when you say this. And you don't want to infuriate your partner. And you want to create a nice, constructive conversation.
Starting point is 00:29:03 I think this makes sense. Like listen, I could be a psychiatrist here. This is good shit. And the other thing you should never say is, I told you so. I told you so. You should never say that. Why? Because this phrase implies a sense of superiority and it undermines your partner's self-esteem,
Starting point is 00:29:21 which makes sense, right? Like... Really? Yeah. Instead instead collaborate instead of compete. Oh, I love that. Let's collaborate instead of compete ladies. That's the way to be. Or with your partner, I love that. Collaborate instead of compete.
Starting point is 00:29:39 Collaborate instead of compete and create a supportive environment where each person can feel that they can grow from their experience Collaborate instead of compete and create a supportive environment where each person can feel that they can grow from their mistakes. That is so important in relationships, guys. Right, Joe? Tell the truth. Have you grown from all your mistakes?
Starting point is 00:29:57 Yes, I have. I've taught you a lot, right? Yes, and I've taught you a lot. See? Wait, but collaborate, huh? Like what? Like we work together? Yeah, that's why I added my collaboration to your statement.
Starting point is 00:30:09 See that? See how that worked? Well, one of our biggest things in relationship that why we are successful is we communicate. Right. We do. We do communicate. Well, we spend a lot of time together too. But this is a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:22 Yeah, but we spend a lot of time together because that's pretty bad. Some people want to kill each other. Yeah, listen, and you don't want to say I told you so because nobody is perfect. You don't want to expect perfection from your partners, guys. But find a partner who is committed to growing from their mistakes. And I got one more for you number five, okay? number five is You should never say this is just like before when you did So and so so you never want to get mad and be like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:30:53 This is like just like the time when you freaking did this to me. I'm not gonna freaking forget it I love that part. Fuck that. I'm keeping that in you know, why? Do that you did this I love that I And you know why? You know why you shouldn't do that? You did this, I love that, I love going back because I like the reminding you. The girls on the Real Housewives of New Jersey need to listen to this. The girls on the Real Housewives of New Jersey need to listen to this.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Why should you not bring this up? Because bringing up past conflicts during a current disagreement can delay and hinder the resolution process. It can negatively affect the emotion climate affect the emotional climate of the relationship. I agree with that 1000%. I'm guilty of it as well in my relationship. You are. She'll bring up things that I've done. I didn't say roll me over with the child. I say something. He's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:42 She brings up shit from like when we met 18 years ago. She's like, you, you got a narrowing. I'm like, what? What did I do? Oh my God. I love to remind him things. But you know what you can do for an alternative everyone if it is, so we don't do this anymore? Focus on resolving the current issue because it builds trust and forgiveness.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Don't remind them whatever they did wrong, just discuss today, here, and now. Talk about the current issue. Don't say, and you know what? Last year when you freaking went out all night and you got home at three in the morning drunk and I hate you, don't do that. I won't do it. I won't do it. All right, wait.
Starting point is 00:32:21 I actually, do you agree with all those things? I really do agree. I mean, obviously. Hello, that's my actually do you agree with all those things? I really do agree that that I mean, hello That's my middle name. It's research Cache I love to communicate you do i've always communicated with you. I seltzer from wine glass with the lemon guys You know, no really in our relationship. I think I communicated more than you ever did. I told you how to communicate I know you're a non communicator. Oh shit. I always said you are a grudge holder. I did. Be honest. No, you're a non-communicator. Bullshit. I always said to you.
Starting point is 00:32:46 You are a grudge holder. I want to fight it out. You want to hold grudge. No, no, no. I used to be a grudge. I don't hold grudge anymore. Now I'm very chill. I'm very... I think the past seven years, I don't hold any grudges anymore.
Starting point is 00:32:56 No? No. I don't. I've changed. I mean, I think you're a grudge holder, but a little bit. I was. I was a grudge holder. Not anymore. I don't really... I forget. All right. Well, now that we talked about our relationships, I think you're a grudge holder, but a little bit. I was, I was a grudge holder, not anymore.
Starting point is 00:33:06 All right, well now that we talked about our relationships, I have something so fun that I wanna discuss with you today. So remember about a year ago when we were messing with that AI chat GPT and it wrote songs for us, it created and made up storylines for the future seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Well, there's a new AI out right now and it actually creates
Starting point is 00:33:31 songs. So you type in custom lyrics or like music types and it creates like tunes based on your submissions and it's called Suno. So obviously I had to run the on display lyrics through it and see what it cranked out. And I think it is, wait till you hear this. Well you did it? Yeah. So guys pay attention. I did this. I already did it so that you guys can like, I wanted to share it with the listeners and
Starting point is 00:34:01 share it with you so you're hearing it for the first time. All right. So check this out. And, listeners, make sure you let me know which one you think is best, all right? All right, here we go. First, I'm gonna give you the On Display 80s remix. So if I created On Display in the 80s,
Starting point is 00:34:19 this is what my song would sound like. ["On Display"] my song would sound like. Oh Such an 80s girl! I am such an 80s girl. I need to live in the 80s. Mind you I was born like in 1980. I was 10 in the 80s. The oldest in 1989. I was 10 years old. But like I love the eight guys. How great was that? How great was that? That okay. Wait did you notice my lyrics? Guys did you hear that? How great was that? How great was that? That? Okay. Did you notice my lyrics guys? Did you hear that? How amazing was that? I feel like it sounded like such an 80s song. All right, so hold on. Now I'm going to give you a little Motown ready. So if on display was Motown, Motown's like Jackson five. Okay. I want to hear it play.
Starting point is 00:35:41 I'll help Joe with the music things. Here we go on display Motown version I can feel everyone's eyes watching me. I can feel the heat of the spotlight shine on me I can feel the heat of the spotlight shine on me I can feel the pressure on body Got me feeling all of everything It's so good, like this song's amazing It's driving me insane I'm a rapsy watching me do my thing Cause I'm on this place, on this place, on this place Every day, on display, on display.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Each and every day, every day, every day. Don't you like it? I'm good with it. That's good. I like it. Oh my God, guys. I don't know. You guys are going to... I have to have you guys decide which one you like the best.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Hold on. We got two more for you. All right. We got on display pop country. Oh shit. Let me hear this one. Here we go. On display pop country. Oh shit. Here we go on display pop country. Here we go. I can feel everyone's eyes watching me I can feel the heat of the starlight shine on me. Oh shit, how good is this?
Starting point is 00:37:22 Got me feeling all of these feelings and it's driving me insane Paparazzi watching me do my thing Cause I'm on display, on display, on display Each and every day, every day, every day Yeah! Woo! Move over Carrie Underwood. I like it. Everybody's waiting on me to grow. I love it.
Starting point is 00:37:54 I love that one. I don't know. I don't want to, I want them to decide their favorite. I love them all. All right, last one, guys. We got to give you on display emo. So here we go, on display on display emo. So here we go on display 2000 emo edition. The spotlight shine on me I can feel the pressure on Cause I'm on display, on display, on display Each and every day, every day That is a boy band, Nancy.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Woo! This is 2000s Blink-22. Everybody's waiting on his song. All right, cut this one. This one's broken. Hey, don't say that. It's not your flavor of music. It's never happening.
Starting point is 00:38:57 All right, so you guys have to tell me what your favorite is. I think that was, was that not so much fun? That was good. Wait, okay. Do you want to tell your favorite and then the fans and fans? You guys, you know what? My listeners, you guys better DM me. I'm just saying like I might be biased but it was my first song. I think I was a ballsy
Starting point is 00:45:39 person for like coming out on the scene and to the Real Housewives of New Jersey and just like Belting it acapella next to a piano and I wasn't even that good. I had no training I just didn't care like you gotta give me a little credit that I was that I think you were you see you you're wrong You said you weren't that good. You were great. No, you really were No, but you were but I wasn't good enough to just start singing acapella when you're gonna come out with a new song You should I mean you should have some balls and do it. I know maybe next season guys tell me you know listeners should I come out with a new song? Not yes like not because I think I'm amazing and a great singer and like an artist and what do you know like some people do not because of that just
Starting point is 00:46:19 because it's fun so if you guys think I should come out with a new song let me know because I'm thinking about it. That was just those I just want to keep singing on display. Those are the best lyrics. I think come out four more songs like you did when you first came out belted out four songs. Maybe a listen. So yeah, we're definitely going to see him tomorrow night anyway. He's going to be out there. Did you hear what I said? No. What? I said I got an extra room down here.
