Starting point is 00:00:00 It is, we're live. PKN episode 117. Live election coverage edition. From the finest that CNN will show me for the next hour. These little samples so far are, I know it's like this every election, but it's so funny to watch them zoom in on certain counties where they're like, ah yes, Clark County in Florida looks like Trump is up 97-3% and it shows the total votes, and it's like 60% to 13%.
Starting point is 00:00:30 It's like, this doesn't matter. Nobody's showed up yet. And your math is awful. Yeah, it is awful. I meant to show it's just a big win. Yeah, I'm trying to remain classy because I feel like tonight is the night in which we get our trophy. You know, if you're on the blue side in this thing, don't be a dick because someday you're going to lose. The people who actually have sides and think that there was an outcome tonight that would potentially mean that I won are just morons anyway.
Starting point is 00:01:03 No one wins tonight. Like all of you who are out there, like tomorrow, if you're excited, you're an idiot. You didn't win anything. And that doesn't matter who won. If Trump won and you're celebrating, you're an idiot.
Starting point is 00:01:13 If Hillary won and you're celebrating, you're an idiot. You're an idiot. I literally, I just said that right before we started the show, that if Trump wins this by some fucking miracle, which he's not, he's going to get blown out, I think, near Obama levels in 2008 versus McCain.
Starting point is 00:01:26 But even if he wins, it's going to be such a teeny little window of happiness in that Hillary Clinton lost, in that you can kind of take a little bit of pride, like, yeah, the people saw through her bullshit. They saw that she was a career corrupt person, and now she's not the president. And then that realization of, oh, my God, she's not the president and then that realization of oh my god donald trump the guy from the apprentice the guy from the nbc show the long running nbc show that is now the president of the united states that's not nobody i really don't think anybody's gonna feel like they won after this have you guys been watching the cpg gray videos
Starting point is 00:02:00 i don't know what that is oh so it's too long to watch on air. The first one's going to be like 17 minutes and the next one's five or six. But CPG Gray makes these really well researched videos. I know that you'll probably instantly recognize some of his work and his voice. He did the one on like human automation and this time is different he did one on you know driverless cars and a bunch of things anyway this one is about being a ruler and he starts off with why there are no like good benign dictators and essentially the answer is whoever's put in that place isn't like powerful on his own there are all these keys underneath them he describes the key people as keys and you have to pay those key people and you have to like pay them off and keep
Starting point is 00:02:51 things going and if you don't then someone else will take you down and they'll pay all the key people he says you know revolutions don't happen because the army gets beat revolutions happen because the army steps aside. And yeah, that's why you have to like, you know, the top guy in the military is one of the keys. The top guy in the police and the top person. And there were some like, you know, non-military type things, you know, not just police and army. Anyway, he lays out how to get in power, you have to sort of spread the wealth to the people who enable you to keep power and that's the dictatorship but then he applies it to democracy and there are some similar things
Starting point is 00:03:31 going on there right there's a reason that you know the same people keep getting elected that was his point in the second one uh but you know goldman sachs might be a key holder. Sachs? I don't know. I don't even know the correct... It's Sachs. Sachs. Is it Sachs? And it's only Sachs? It is. You've been saying Sachs for a while, and I didn't want to correct you because it seemed like you would know,
Starting point is 00:03:54 but it's Sachs. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know. Goldman Sachs? I always picture those Goldman Sachs... It's not a baseball team. I always picture the guy who owns the Gold Toe Sock that's goldman socks like he's walking around all proud like pulling political strings and wearing his fancy socks that goldman if that was like a real kind of
Starting point is 00:04:15 entrepreneur the guy who made gold toe socks and then he just cut off from the world and enjoyed his billions that seems like the same style of billionaire as the Burt's Bees guy have you seen that guy there was a whole documentary on this Burt's Bees guy who was at this point of filming you know he's much much wealthier now I assume unless he sold the whole company or something but he was a multi-millionaire at the time and it was like he was living in some bullshit cabin in the middle of Appalachia in some some poor shit truck. Yeah, he was very, very wealthy. And when you walked into his house, it was like a pretty organized, not like meticulously organized hoarders.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Where it was just piles of things that had nothing to do with beeswax or lip balm. It was all just like, yeah, this is my old stack. This is the Daily Fisherman from the local news mart. bomb it was all just like yeah this is my old stack this is this is uh the daily fisherman from the local you know uh news mart you know i've gotten every up every editions in 1978 i saw that too i wondered how much of it was bullshit right you know they're like look at this guy he has a billion dollars and he lives like someone like you know the long beard the whole thing he looked like uh an appellachian hillbilly and i'm thinking in my head oh yeah yeah i bet he does live there a day a year right and he has a palace somewhere
Starting point is 00:05:33 else or this is where i live when i'm not on my yacht or some sort yeah i'm always hesitant about that too because even like i used to like really get off on the Warren Buffett thing of like, man, this guy's worth $60 billion and he drives the same Lincoln from 1956. And then like I did a tiny bit of research into it once just like I wonder what his house does look like. Maybe it's a real piece of shit and he just like takes like a weird kind of I have control over myself. I don't give him any temptation pride, which is its own form of narcissism. And then I looked into it more and apparently he uh that's not it's kind of a little more what you said where it's like he still keeps that home that he had because why sell it when you have 60 billion dollars like you think you're gonna
Starting point is 00:06:17 make it like put some you know cheap granite in and flip it fuck no like you got 60 billion dollars i just yeah that that was a little disheartening because you always hear those stories and you want to believe they're true yeah i believed it about um barry sanders like he lived in the same 125 000 house through most of his career i i never looked into it and disproved it or anything but i thought that was interesting too like oh now i don't know um how much money did he make over his career barry sanders yeah i hear you is the thought process there that people didn't earn as much back in the 90s no i would think for someone with that like kind of star power would have pulled quite a bit
Starting point is 00:06:57 i feel like there's like a sport track 28 million dollars 28 million not as much as i would think actually man how much would that suck if you were like the best basketball player of all time in 1972 and then you have to keep living and you're like 56 years old managing a uh a tile outlet on the outskirts of town and you see all these people doing the same thing you did making 30 million dollars a year could be worse you could have taken one too many concussions and you could like shit yourself every time the microwave comes on you could you know what glass half full i like that about you that's right so it'll always be worse oh it's so hard no it could always be worse it was 28 million that's what he
Starting point is 00:07:42 got i just googled bernie sand Sanders net worth and a big box popped up. No, no, no. Barry Sanders. Oh. What did he Google? Bernie Sanders. No, no, no. I searched Barry Sanders.
Starting point is 00:07:54 No, Bernie Sanders is worth more than that, I think. Bernie Sanders. Bernie Sanders is worth whatever's left in the super pocket after this is over. Let's see. I can't find his career earnings. The career earnings is what we were looking up, not his net worth. But I can find out how much he was making, like how much he walked away from.
Starting point is 00:08:13 He had four seasons left on his six-year, $36 million contract. Then had an $11 million signing bonus. I don't know how much of that he had to give back if anything but you know when Bernie when Barry Sanders walked away from that contract it was like shocking
Starting point is 00:08:36 like no one like dude you're 31 people don't just retire from the NFL at 31 anymore now I feel like a couple of people do it every year like it's not uncommon at all for them to be like you know what I feel like a couple of people do it every year. Like it's not uncommon at all for them to be like, you know what? I feel like my head's getting kooky.
Starting point is 00:08:49 I'm just done, done. I'm walking away. I don't blame them. I bet it's probably not every single one of them. You can't do that. Nothing is ever like that. But I guarantee there's guys who have went to their doctors or their neurologist and they've been like, look at this.
Starting point is 00:09:02 You see this gray area right here? That's a part of your brain that doesn't work anymore. Next year, maybe this part doesn't work, and you can't smell anything ever again. Or maybe this part goes, and you don't remember your daughter's name. Are you a big fan of food? You know, chewing? Plus, it doesn't
Starting point is 00:09:19 seem to get better, right? Like, who's the guy that just died? They thought he thought he had als but he actually had something else a football player no i think he was um like a lead like victim in the whole concussion thing in the movie and whatnot anyway uh um it turned out he had CTE like chronic traumatic something what does CTE stand for do you guys know the brain damage thing cranial cranial I like that that seems
Starting point is 00:09:55 cranial traumatic oh nc patholy no I'm missing it encephalopathy encephalopathy but i think it is encephalopathy encephalopathy um encephalopathy yep yep so he had cte and uh they thought he had lou gehrig's disease or something like his last five years were brought like bringing awareness to a disease
Starting point is 00:10:22 he didn't actually have. Well, hey, you know, it's still a good thing. I bet he wouldn't have done it now. He helped someone. Yeah, but he didn't want that. He wanted to, you know, help people like him. It's like if Christopher Reeve just started walking one day, you'd think that he would have kept caring
Starting point is 00:10:40 and been like, you know what, this whole cripple thing, though, like, you know, not a bad cause. Like, I'm not going to tell you to keep supporting it, but I'm fine now. Turns out we don't need those stem cells. Fuck it. You guys are younger than me and maybe think of Christopher Reeves as the
Starting point is 00:10:56 crippled guy. For me, when he transitioned from Superman to the quadriplegic, it was like, whoa! You've got to be kidding me! I thought he was so dorky. He was horse riding. I think he was supposed to be some...
Starting point is 00:11:12 I guess he was a Hollywood leading man kind of guy. They thought that that was a good looking person. But even as a kid, I remember looking at Superman and being like, what a fact. That guy looks so lame. He looks so lame. He's not muscular enough. He's got that goofy chin. His face looks weird.
Starting point is 00:11:27 I never cared for Christopher Reeve in anything. And so when he got paralyzed, it was just like, well, all right, no more. Maybe save the franchise. I was introduced to him at like six or seven, and he was so perfect, right? Which Superman is, right? He just, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:43 I thought he was brave. Superman's not brave. Superman's not at risk. But I thought he was brave superman's not brave superman's not at risk but i thought he was brave when i was a little kid i didn't have more complex feelings on what brave was and i just saw he did shit that would be brave had i done it so i thought it was brave and uh then yeah for him to fall off that that pedestal that he was on was just so huge to me. Huge. His wife sticking by him was pretty impressive. She's no McCain, new Gingrich.
Starting point is 00:12:14 There's a lot of people who wouldn't stick around for that shit show. Especially if it's not like two years or three years. It's like, yeah, he'll be around for decades. That's hard to swallow. That's a big pill to swallow yeah yeah especially you know you know you can sign on to that and just do it for a while but eventually like aren't you gonna put a pillow on him you know just end it all like i didn't he aren't you gonna ask for that after a while if you're him
Starting point is 00:12:42 i know i would like i guess maybe he was clinging to some hope that, like South Park, he was going to get his hands on a bunch of fetuses at some point and just suck the life right out of them. I'm like, all right, all right, here's my proposal, right? You're my husband. I stay with you, and we live off your money because you got a lot of it, but I get the cock elsewhere. Does that work for you, right?
Starting point is 00:13:02 Because, you know, I got to get it. Or what if we put in a cock say no like a mech that had that that like stood him up and like gave him like a robot cock or something like that like maybe two that still doesn't seem like a lot of fun for him because then he's basically just a doll being as long as you can like around by this robot no no he's controlling it with his eyes and by licking a sensor with his tongue. We could have a middle man there and just lick
Starting point is 00:13:32 the sensor with the tongue. Maybe. Maybe so. I know I would not want to live like that and I know that for a fact that I would ask someone to kill me if that was my situation. I'd be like, look, I know you can't just keep... You can't just fill that thing up with
Starting point is 00:13:48 Demerol and let me go into the twilight, but I don't know. Maybe you just smother me with that fucking pillow over there. How about that? Let's just get this over with. Yeah, maybe. See, they are... Sorry to take it back to this, but it's right on the TV
Starting point is 00:14:03 in front of me. These percentages are flipping and flopping so much that i don't even know what these anchors could be talking about well stay tuned uh till after the commercial break to find out you know it's in their best interest to keep you uh to keep you on the first listen to this pitch about lipitor you know i'm on'm on Yahoo just watching it and when we started the show it had Florida in blue like Hillary won it and I'm like what like really like because that would end it right that right there hey she wins Florida and the night is done and then I looked into it more closely and saw that barely anything reported. North Carolina,.07% reporting. Well, what the fuck?
Starting point is 00:14:46 A bigger percentage than that early voted. So I guess... Do they include that in that percentage, though? Like, kind of an aggregate? Kind of, because it's already... Like, is that a percentage of the people who showed up today so far? Like, the remaining vote?
Starting point is 00:14:59 I think so. But I don't know. Does that make sense of it? Yeah, I think they take the early votes, lump them together with all the other votes from this county, and report it that way. But I don't know. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:15:12 I suspect we won't know tonight. Yeah. I think we might, because he has such a precarious road that all it takes is one state here or there. And they're like, oh, well, it's not official, but Trump kind of has to win New York now. So, yeah, it's official. Yeah, that's what I see happening. I don't even know if he's going to win Florida at this point.
Starting point is 00:15:41 It's tight. Florida's tight. It looks like he might win Ohioio um north carolina's super fucking tight um i see he's suing arizona for keeping their polls open for two extra hours um i hate that about the republicans and it fair is fair about trump but i hate it about like dude republicans are about voter suppression that's's their thing. I mean, dude, having to be alive, you know, having to be a citizen. There were literally 31 instances of voter fraud. 31. 31 people in the last presidential election were bad votes.
Starting point is 00:16:18 That is nothing. That is not true. That's like only counting murders that you saw. In a country of 300 million, there's only 30? No, that's not true. That can't be true. It's more than 1 in 100,000 people that's doing it. It's got to be.
Starting point is 00:16:34 You know how people are. And the way to do it is on such a small scale. It's hard to do it twice, right? You go in there. You hope the poll people don't. I couldn't have voted twice today. I guess I'd have to go to a different precinct. Yeah, you wouldn't want to vote in the same...
Starting point is 00:16:49 You wouldn't vote in the same precinct or district. What if there was a big bus that would just pick you up at home and just take you from precinct to precinct? What is true is they do legit have super long lines in densely packed urban areas. We tried to early vote twice, and it took hours we were
Starting point is 00:17:07 just like fuck this oh my god this is like waiting in line for tickets at duke unc and uh no today was actually super easy um but early voting is fucking suppressed like no one who sets this up and says you know all this is for people who like to wait in line for two and a half to three hours while voting. The early voting is fucked. The fact that voting is on a Tuesday. Right. You know how they always fuck their fuss about America and their voting participation rates. You look at like the top 31 countries that vote better than us.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Some are mandatory, but a lot of them are on weekends, and there's multiple days to vote. Here in the U.S., by and large, you have one weekday to vote. And by the way, that weekday is a workday, which disproportionately favors wealthier voters, right? People who are on salary can just duck out of the office and vote or what have you. People who are
Starting point is 00:17:59 hourly working at McDonald's and stuff can't just leave to go skate for an hour or two. But you don't like early voting? I love every aspect of making voting better. Early voting should be good, and it shouldn't be a joke that
Starting point is 00:18:15 early voting is where I am. I don't know what it's like nationwide, but where I am, early voting is a nightmare. It shouldn't be on a Tuesday. It should be on a weekend, so that more people can participate in this voting. Or a national holiday, which is what some other countries do. It should be, what were my other things? A weekend or better early voting. Across more days, that's early voting too. There are a handful of things they can do to make voting easier, and they intentionally just stop that from happening like voter suppression
Starting point is 00:18:45 impacts millions of people and and typically one group of people um yeah but the biggest things that they want to require as far as voter suppression is like i'm sure like most of the people i don't hear the weekend thing touted like i've never heard people say we need to keep it on a tuesday what i do hear is the argument of you should have an ID and you need to you know show that you're a citizen yeah I believe that strongly I think you should have to have photo ID before you can vote and if that's a problem then there should be some other thing that you can get that's a voters call it a voter ID you know where any U.S. citizen can get it you don't have to be a driver you don't have to be this age or that age there's no requirements other than citizenship.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And you get a voter picture ID. Yeah, see, that would be a step forward. Because right now, you have to register to vote, right? In countries where there's better voter participation, you just get registered. You know, like, you got a social security number when you were born. And when you were 18, it turned into a voter card, right? Here, like, you have to fucking register to vote months ahead of time to to like get your shit in order that is that because of the other things that are that
Starting point is 00:19:52 are packaged along with registering to vote because like one of the things that i as i was doing it i was like now i'm getting jury duty here we go now i'm getting yeah but i mean there are like the months thing isn't necessarily true there are a lot of states with same-day registration and then even more that don't have a four-month. There are multiple states with same-day registration. I understand what you're saying about the weekend thing.
Starting point is 00:20:15 I think it should be on a weekend. If there's some reason that it can't be that I'm not thinking of, I haven't thought of it. Or just have a Monday voter day where everybody gets off work and then you can go vote and then you do it. That's fine. You make it a federal holiday. You should have ID and show that you're a citizen because that's what other countries –
Starting point is 00:20:35 North Carolina, which is like Republicans run amok right now. North Carolina is what happens when there's no checks and balances and Republicans just get every office. Well, North Carolina is what happens when North Carolina Republicans go amok. Let's just leave it at that. I'll accept that. Because the Georgia Republicans wouldn't do that. I saw that my two senators are on board to consider Hillary's
Starting point is 00:20:55 nominations. In North Carolina, they were purging the voter rolls and it was like 96% black people. They were just purging black people out of the voter rolls. Because they were 96% black people they were just purging black people out of the voter rolls because they were dead because there has to be context to this otherwise it doesn't make sense the judge like severely chastise him he's like what the fuck you're just throwing out black
Starting point is 00:21:16 people because they were black it appeared it did it end up that they were dead or that they hadn't rere-registered or that they had to move out of the state they had to put them back in that was the end okay yeah that's okay yeah i can then that's a bad thing i'm not gonna defend something i know nothing about i mean i'm saying though that if you're gonna make a case that it's a republican thing to suppress that voter suppression is a republican thing then voter fraud is is a Democrat thing. Yeah, it's funny how that came out. You never find a Republican, like there's never a case of buses, people around on the other side. I'm just saying, like if you can make that one bank blanket statement, it seems the other way is true as well.
Starting point is 00:21:56 We all have cars! It's just that on like one is definitely like you can see the impact that has there. And the other, there's never any evidence that it actually happens You know or if there is like I said There's 31 people during the last presidential election who were dead and voted or what have you like that it voter? Fraud is not a real problem Because like because like because the way they count the votes like like like It seems like they count them to a point. they're like, oh yeah, that guy won.
Starting point is 00:22:26 We can stop now. It doesn't seem like they really follow up and do due diligence and count the extra votes and really pay attention to if there is any or isn't any afterwards. I never hear about that. I know. There's just too many of us. I don't know anything about actual voter fraud. Here's one from a couple hours ago.
Starting point is 00:22:42 What I'm thinking is if there are 300 million Americans and we know what we are like and we know how passionate people are about this sort of thing and how when it all costs that people are about this thing, then it's just logical that people would cheat. It's just logical that they would and it has to be more than
Starting point is 00:22:59 30. It has to be like 30,000. 30,000 I might believe, but even then that seems far too low in a country of 300 million I just think that we're genuinely you know a dishonest bunch and that there's a lot of people out there when you're
Starting point is 00:23:16 when you got a population this big that would just do it it's almost like googling gun stuff like oh yeah like Breitbart says it's like oh yeah you're not gonna find any like brightbert says it's a problem um conservative outfitters is that what that says yeah conservative outfitters.com seems to think it's a they have good gear there and then you have like nbc who says there's no widespread well yeah of it you have that's the other side abc well i i guess i i i feel this is what republicans do too
Starting point is 00:23:46 they're like oh yeah yeah you know all these mainstream sources nbc abc whatever they're in the bank for these democrats and then as if they're they're parallel to breitbart right who just like no they i think that they are on parallel with breitbart in a lot of ways. I think that Breitbart, because it's online, they have to go even crazy. I will give it to you for sure that Breitbart is – I don't know anything about the conservative, whatever the fuck, but Breitbart is not reliable. They are in the tank for Trump. They were lying for Trump the entire election, but MSNBC was lying for Hillary the entire election. lying for Hillary the entire election. The only difference I see is that one gets a huge amount of traction because it's MSNBC, and
Starting point is 00:24:25 the other one is very quickly written off as rightfully so written off as, that's conservative propaganda. This isn't true. All the polls aren't rigged. This isn't some grand conspiracy. If there's a grand conspiracy, it's to get Clinton in, not to subvert Trump. Trump has done a great job of subverting himself every step of the way.
Starting point is 00:24:41 I don't know how much MSNBC you watched, but I would get subjected to it daily because it would make my wife upset. They were in the tank for Trump, it seemed. You know, when Comey reopened the case, the guy just like, morning Joe, right? He's like, trust me, I used to be a prosecutor. They know exactly what's in those emails.
Starting point is 00:25:02 They were looking at him saying, shit, we better get a warrant for this. And then they're in the process of getting the warrant. Hillary is guilty. You know, there's some bad stuff in there. They know it and we'll know it soon. That's what they're saying. MSNBC sounded like Fox, you know.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Well, it depends what program on each thing. Yeah, the Morning Joe guys. And then you go, like, if you compare it to, like, the guys on, what is it, the Red Eye on Fox, like, that would be an equal comparison because it's just an opinion program, right? No, they're fucking not reliable sources because they're more about entertainment than news, even though they're on a news network. There's a big difference between, let's just keep it within Fox News, between Megyn Kelly's show, where it seems to be legit news. She isn't bullshitting you at all. It's pretty much 100% fact, maybe 99% fact or 97. But then you go to, like, the red-eye thing or the five,
Starting point is 00:25:53 and it's more comedy and more about entertainment. And they're literally cracking jokes, you know. I guess if I could put it like this, it seems like when the news sources like ABC, NBC, even CNN, all of them have let me down at one point or another. And if there's a scale of 1 to 100 where 50 is perfection, they're like a 45 or something like that. And then Fox News comes out there and they're like a 92 on the other side of 50. And they say, see, neither of them are 50. See how that is?
Starting point is 00:26:25 I don't see... I don't think that's fair at all. They literally called Obama a terrorist. On Fox News. Who did? Obama and Michelle, when he was running for his first term, fist bumped. And they said, do you call it a pound?
Starting point is 00:26:42 Do you call it something else? No. Do you call it a terrorist fist Do you call it something else? No. Do you call it a terrorist fist bump? Body language experts are weighing in. And actually on that one, they literally did come back and apologize for the terrorist fist bump. Well, that was one anchor though, right? I know I've seen that exact clip.
Starting point is 00:26:58 It's just the one woman and she says those things. But that's not like Fox News. So you think it was just one rogue anchor not reading off a teleprompter calling him a terrorist? Well, that's her own show. think it was just one rogue anchor not reading off a teleprompter calling him a terrorist well that's her own show that was that was greta van susteren right like if she makes her own show she produced thinking of nancy grace when you asked if it was oh god not nancy grace and she's gone from there yeah yeah that's if it was nancy grace it wasn't fox but it wasn't it was it's okay then i i believe you i'm just saying that making first
Starting point is 00:27:26 of all the false equivalents that months upon months of ripping trump bashing him rightfully so in many many cases and completely ignoring clinton corruption in all the essential times where people are formulating decisions about who they're going to vote for ignoring it and then two days they go oh man because their hand was forced and they had to cover it because that was the only news thing for that weekend it came out on a friday that's in no way is reminiscent of a 45 on that one to a hundred scale it's i see them and fox as pretty much equals in their bias and i see breitbart as the 92 out of 100 and i see you know uh vox or um think progress as like the the two or whatever the equivalent would be on the other side
Starting point is 00:28:13 uh eight whatever it would be i no i would say there are two because they're bananas think progress is out of control go to thinkprogress.com every once in a while it's it's like it's my first time there it's the uh it's like the breitbart of the left Progress is out of control. Go to thinkprogress.com every once in a while. I believe you. It would be my first time there. It's like the Breitbart of the left, essentially. Just total propaganda, no care for facts, push the agenda. There's another thing. There's just no winning in it.
Starting point is 00:28:37 It's not just Fox who's guilty of this, although Fox is guilty of it. This opinion-based news thing, right? They take a guy or girl and they dress them up like a news anchor and they put them in a desk in front of a news like a news anchor and they give them this like authority and they compress the audio on their mic and and now they sound like rush limbaugh with this booming authoritative easily believed like leadership quality to his audio and he looks like an anchor he dresses like an anchor he talks like an anchor and it's opinion-based news and like john stewart and
Starting point is 00:29:12 those guys where they like masquerade around as like their news when it's convenient like when bill o'reilly wants to pretend to be news he pretends to be news and then when somebody calls him on his shit bill o'reilly goes this is my opinion this is an opinion show the same way that like stephen colbert will go on a huge rant like uh like a or maybe john stewart's a better example john stewart will go on a huge rant that's very solemn and serious and we need to fix this country and shit and then three minutes later he makes a dick joke so that later he can go i'm just fucking around i don't have accountability for my for my words john stewart's a little more of a talk show slash news anchor. He's not as guilty as Hannity.
Starting point is 00:29:49 Hannity doesn't have a couch where his guests sit, I think. I think people know that Hannity is opinion if they've listened to him at all because it is very clear. There are people who get informed by opinion shows, and that's where I was headed with this. That's true. There are people who get informed by ex-Jon Stewart. I know he gone now or or by hannity or by bill o'reilly and they go there and that's where they pick up all their information and uh the thing about stewart he was biased but he wasn't usually inaccurate you know he would make clips and he would piece things together but um i don't feel like if you listen to him he was
Starting point is 00:30:25 picking up the wrong stories you know hannity what did hannity just apologize no who's the guy that had to apologize hannity picked up a fake news story and reported it as if it were true and that other guy brett baird or something like that the guy with the really baird baird he's got the hair helmet on fox news he had to issue his first apology was a non-apology he was like you know what i stated that kind of inartfully that hillary was about to be indicted i stated it inartfully and then he had to come back later and be like yeah that was just totally wrong there's been no new evidence there's no movement on that he's the one who said and your children will die. Did he say that?
Starting point is 00:31:06 Remember the hurricane coverage? Yeah. This past hurricane. I do remember that. He's like, if you're in this area, it's not survivable. You'll die. You'll drown. Wait, are you thinking of Will, that other guy, Shep? Ah, maybe Shepard Smith.
Starting point is 00:31:19 Am I getting Brett Baird and Shepard Smith mixed up? I think you do. They all look the same. He also has the same hairstyle. But, oh, yeah, you're right. Now I can picture the other guy's hair. He really does have a helmet. It looks like it's just so thick that it can't be real.
Starting point is 00:31:32 I feel like if you stuck your finger in it, your finger would go, eh. It would, like, bend. I don't want to throw – it's good hair. But my friend Brad, who I go paramotoring with, we were in some situation recently. I don't know. Maybe filling a gas tank or something, but his hair hit my arm and I was like,
Starting point is 00:31:49 it seemed to have a protective quality to it. It started burning through my head. If you were to drop a wrench through his hair, would it be somewhat better than a bald guy? Because most hair offers nothing. I got that about UFC. When I see guys who have a legit beard, like most hair yeah i got that about ufc when i see guys who have like a legit beard like a leonidas i'm like that definitely takes a tenth of a g4 softball
Starting point is 00:32:11 that definitely softens it a bit one other theory is they make it they feel like it's harder to see what they're hitting right like if you just if you took my face and blurred it out and had to fight that it'd be a similar type effect like yeah they can't get on quite on the chin that's a that's a great point that i've never even considered is that if you're one of like i think maybe you just said i'm hendrix where he has the big he's got a big one yep bushy beard maybe somebody takes a swing and they just connect like an eighth of an inch of his chin and the rest is just hair that they're hitting like that right or they're aiming for that nerve you know that that's right here and it's just a little obscured you
Starting point is 00:32:48 know it's not that you don't know where it is but it's hard to do it's hard to hit accurately i don't know if you guys have ever it's very hard to hit accurately especially when someone's trying to hit you it's just like and i'm sure shooting is the same fucking thing like like you can put one of those stupid dummies up like we've all seen the videos of the guys trying to like hit the punch thing at like the arcade right and missing badly and I Hit it. I've done one of those things and I actually hit the thing I had to remember I was like yeah I hit it
Starting point is 00:33:18 But but but just by seeing that you can see it's kind of hard to hit shit if you're not if you're not like Practiced in throwing punches and don't have any form at all or like zero training so like so when someone's trying to hit you back you're not it's it's not like that shadow boxing session you had in the gym where you're like god damn i'm rocky pal boa fuck yeah yeah squish the potato i was working with a heavy bag you know first started out. And I'm like, fuck, I feel like I don't know my range. And you do after you're set. Like, alright, alright, I had to move forward two inches
Starting point is 00:33:52 and now everything is sort of right in my motion and I hit it the standard right spot. But the heavy bag doesn't move. It moves a little, but you're constantly losing it. Yeah, yeah, but I just feel like I had a whole lifetime of accurately taking books off of shelves and moving a salt shaker first try so i was like man i bet i am blessed with some sort
Starting point is 00:34:13 of abnormal accuracy because i could pass the salt like a motherfucker and then you go and try and hit a heavy bag or whatever and and it's you got to relearn your range. Yeah. My arms are very long. I can almost reach the camera. Almost. Mine are longer. I can actually reach the camera. I can reach the camera. That's science.
Starting point is 00:34:33 That's our measurement. My arms are over a camera length. I've been playing a lot of new COD 4 recently in the past few days and the whole panicking when it gets real is exactly what i find myself doing now in cod because my my aim isn't as good i'm just not as good as i used to be and like you know when you get to the side of someone where they're aimed somewhere else and you just think like this is a juicy shot i'm not gonna risk it i'm getting a
Starting point is 00:35:02 head shot i'm gonna get a little closer to that blue tiger right now and so you take your m16 or your whatever and you just and you blow on right past them and then they turn and see you and then you just turn into a noodle of just just spraying around everywhere and then they end up killing you and you just sit there like melissa fell asleep next to me last night on the couch while I was playing and I woke her up because I got so upset when I did that once like twice in a row where I didn't make any noise because I didn't want to wake her up but I just had my controller and I just went
Starting point is 00:35:33 and just shook around so much I do a thing where I take the controller and bash it into my thigh I'm just like it's just so angry when something doesn't go my way i've been having so much fun so here are the changes i don't like so they definitely altered dead silence in the footsteps i'm getting around it i guess i can still sound or i can still like i'm still waiting for you to come through the door um but but it's not as good it definitely
Starting point is 00:36:02 isn't dead silence isn't as good footsteps aren't as good. Footsteps aren't as good. The sound effects with planting and defusing bombs and search and destroy slash sabotage are different and not conducive to the old school gameplay. I can't hear when they're defusing, but I can hear when they're planting. It doesn't make any sense. Grenades and noob tubes are super powerful. The RPG is better than it's ever been.
Starting point is 00:36:21 It goes straight now. It's no longer a bottle rocket. You can shoot air support down with it. And better yet, you can shoot people with it. If there's somebody halfway across the map, you can get that RPG out and really ruin his day. You can get cars off spawn on maps like Crossfire. That's very nice.
Starting point is 00:36:36 I've been having a lot of fun. People don't understand Juggernaut again, so I run a lot of Juggernaut. Lots of Juggernaut AK, Juggernaut M16, Juggernaut P90. Everything, on everything. This means one more bullet, right? It means a lot of juggernaut lots of juggernaut aka juggernaut m16 juggernaut p90 everything on everything means one more bullet, right? It means a lot of things so so juggernaut reduces the damage that you take from Everything by 25% which completely cancels out stopping power And it makes claymores and grenades not hurt you as much it also means also in every gunfight You know that you have to two burst the guy. The guy
Starting point is 00:37:06 with stopping power thinks he only has to one burst you. Your mind is in the right place. You're not going to go and then move on to the next guy. You know, you got to follow up that shot. So you're never going to have that moment where you're like, and then trying to get guy number two, but this guy needed one more bullet because he's got juggernaut. And of course we've all got that mental thing. As soon as you see that juggernaut thing, that symbol pop up, you're like, oh, no, he's got Juggernaut. Let's, ah, he never sees that. He's prepared for that.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Juggernaut is the superior perk, 100%. It just is. When I snipe, I'm using an M21 or a Dragunov with Juggernaut. If I'm rushing, it's a P90 with Juggernaut. If there's snipers, it's just always Juggernaut. Always. I like the 74U and the AK-47 with Jug a lot. I've been doing a lot of mostly Jug on submachine gun classes and running around with that because it seems like it really helps you out a lot because usually submachine gun you're gonna have extreme conditioning anyway,
Starting point is 00:38:03 so you're gonna have a jump on them if you're playing correctly and sticking to the outside of the map and kind of running that loop but yeah i'm having a ton of fun with it before it came out i was like uh oh what game type mostly ground war i've been doing so uh mostly search confirmed domination and team death match i played a little bit of Domination at first, and it breaks down your kill-death ratio by game mode now. I think my Domination kill-death ratio is like a 1.1, but my search and destroy kill-death ratio is like a 1.8, and my free-for-all is like a 2.2,
Starting point is 00:38:38 and my Team Deathmatch is like a 2.6 or something like that. So mostly, I've been mixing it up a lot. If I want attachments, I'll play something with kills, but mostly search and destroy for all the juicy points because I can get 10 to 15 kills on a search most of the time. That's a huge amount of kills. That can't be true. It is true.
Starting point is 00:38:56 On an average game, you get between 10 and 15 kills in search? I said I can get between 10 and 15. I would say an average game, I'm getting... You totally said most of the time. The low end is 6. Like like a low-end is definitely six The lowest that I'm gonna get is six or seven and the upper end is 20 I've got I got 20 the other night. I got 20 kill streak already got 220 kill streaks I'm having a blast. I'm really loving search because because they're not using dead silence. I'm using dead silence
Starting point is 00:39:22 I know all the spawning grenades On like backlot, I'm getting triple grenades off spawn almost every time. It's a lot of fun playing this game because most of the people don't either know or don't remember. The competition is definitely harder. I find that sometimes I get to search lobby. Yeah, sometimes I get to search lobby
Starting point is 00:39:40 and I'm like, oh, everybody's using an M16 stopping power dead silence bandolier. This feels like a game battles match and I'll go like four and four and then it's time to leave that Lobby There are definitely like like full parties of real strong players that will spawn trap your ass on bog and domination or team deathmatch It and that is rough you could that spawn trap works It's it you can still flip it if you're not careful But you always could. But we got spawned.
Starting point is 00:40:06 I joined a game mid-session, a domination on Bog, and I was just like, there's no getting out of this. No, just pause up A. There's no getting out of this because there's a helicopter in the air, and I try to go out this way,
Starting point is 00:40:18 and two snipers are shooting. I try to go that way, and there's a guy with an MP5 just waiting by the fruit, just ready for you to come out of the building. Have you played with any of your old monsters? Just one. No, I haven't seen those guys online.
Starting point is 00:40:32 I don't think they're playing. I messaged them both on Skype weeks and weeks ago, and I don't think they're playing anymore. But I'm playing with one guy that I used to play with, and immediately he comes in and drops like 40 or 50 kills or something. So he's's still strong i've got a guy named hermando i wonder if he's still playing he uh hermando yeah he's a canadian i don't know why um whatever that's his actual name but he's not at all latin sounding to me i don't know i've never met him but he was good he used to pull um is it showdown what's the map they're like almost all the statue in the
Starting point is 00:41:08 middle statue in the middle but that's a couple of them this is a square building and there's lattice work around showdown showdown okay um what's the other one with the statue in the middle okay but that's not the block is the one at night with opposing two-story buildings yeah that's not the one i'm thinking of there's one uh there's night with opposing two-story buildings. Yeah, that's not the one I'm thinking of. There's a statue in the middle, and there's a call-out, I think, called Skybox, where you can see in the statue. That's Strike, okay. But that's not in the game. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:41:34 All right. I hope they add it, because I like Strike. Anyway, on Showdown, this guy would routinely get over 100 kills. And I didn't think of that as one of those real rapey maps, but he used an LMG. It's a very rapey map. Oh, man. He would use an LMG because it penetrated through the latticework well and just wrecked everybody.
Starting point is 00:41:57 If they're in the latticework, we have a problem. We want them back there in the back running through that tunnel in a line. That's what you want. They're all like, all right, come on, guys, we'll get them this time. And they're all running through the tunnel for someone line. That's what you want. They're all like, alright, come on guys, we'll get them this time. And they're all running through the tunnel for someone to get a quad with a sniper or something. I love spawn trapping people. See, something that I don't do at
Starting point is 00:42:13 all is unless I'm playing with like you and Chiz or whoever else is in a party, I pay no heed to the spawn trap because there's no point if you're just playing a team game. Like if I'm playing Ground War and we have them spawn trapped on bog i'm just running in and killing people because i guarantee someone else is going to run in and ruin it and so i'm going to be the one to ruin it like i'm going to get three kills out of it i feel the same way yeah if i'm playing with randoms i just
Starting point is 00:42:37 do whatever i want to do i was always impressed by the real high kill counts because they're doing something to find a lot of traffic that i'm not you know like i'm not it's not unheard of that i get 40 kills or even 60 kills but when people get 100 120 kills like what how did you even run across that many people i yeah i don't understand it i yeah one of our guys dropped 120 and, was it Domination on Shipment? Or whatever we were playing. I guess Dom on Shipment. Yeah, or Headquarters.
Starting point is 00:43:10 You could do it on Headquarters. Because Headquarters doesn't have a time limit as far as I know. Or Sabotage, where everybody understands what's going on. Where you just don't plant it. See, I don't like that. I don't like that. I like it when people play the objective. We were playing Search and Destroy today on Overgrown,
Starting point is 00:43:25 and a sniper grabs the bomb and then immediately takes 20 steps and then lays down in the grass and starts trying to snipe. So I went up behind him and started shooting my gun off in the air until somebody killed him. And I took his bomb and I went and planted it. He's messaging me all angry. I like that, too. I love pissing people off. And I'll play Search.
Starting point is 00:43:42 I haven't played much of it because everybody's boosting for headshots on there but i i've been getting in cage matches i played maybe four cage matches something like that and uh i was clearly better than the guy not by light years like he had good classes you know sometimes you play against somebody you're like you can tell by the way they made their class that they just don't have a grasp on how the game works yet. They're using sonic boom and like eavesdrop or something I'm gonna fuck your mom in your own house you faggot eShop was the dumbest perk
Starting point is 00:44:27 that's a top tier perk right there but I got like I'll get up like 3 kills on the guy and then I'll just hide I'll just hide on purpose just to hear him rage and get so angry it makes me so happy to make him so unhappy I really enjoy that to like ruin his experience
Starting point is 00:44:42 because I could like hurry up and rush at him and worst case scenario, I'll beat him by two or three kills or something. I'm going to beat him. It's clear that every time we face off, I win. But it's much more satisfying to get up three kills and then just go lay in the grass and go get a soda or something and come back
Starting point is 00:44:58 and he's still raging into the microphone. I really like that. I used to enjoy Wings of Redemption videos because he used odd classes. He'd be like, you know what? Scrambler is actually really useful. When the rest of the world realized that Scrambler more or less tells you that you are there, like, oh, my fucking radar is getting scrambled.
Starting point is 00:45:17 This perk sucks. It's like announcing my arrival. It didn't have enough radius. I guess, yeah. It would be like a county review. I don't know. But Wings would make a video and be like, Scrambler's good. He used it to ring the dinner bell. People would see it and they'd come after him, but he'd of course
Starting point is 00:45:32 be all Claymore and Campton. Wings has never made a video talking about how eavesdrop is actually good. People just don't understand how to use it. No. There could be uses for it. If people didn't
Starting point is 00:45:48 already use a different way to communicate other than Xbox Live, then in a game battles match or in a game where there's lots of actual communication, it would be very helpful. If there's constant chatter between all six enemy
Starting point is 00:46:04 teammates and you're just always getting them and hearing the call-outs and being able to counter call-outs, If there's constant chatter between all six enemy teammates, and you're just always getting them, and hearing the call-outs, and being able to counter call-outs, that would be helpful. But the problem with eavesdrop is the range on it is very low. I've used it before to figure out what the range was. And it's funny to see the red speaker icon pop up and to hear the enemy.
Starting point is 00:46:20 But it's the same stuff you always hear when you... Because it turns that on anyway. You guys get into a fight, kill him you hear him you hear his ah motherfucker he got me fucking piece of shit and then it cuts off you always get that anyway so it's nothing but childish bullshit or every now and then if you're lucky um it'll be a guy whose mic is always on the entertainment you're just like and it's kind of like scrambler again you're just looking for that guy the uh but yeah he's the worst perk was a brilliant addition to cod i assume i think it is i don't think oh it is i'm not positive but because i'm playing so many game
Starting point is 00:46:58 modes but i've definitely killed someone heard them say stuff i just don't know if you get to hear rage oh that's so wonderful that's a brilliant idea yeah i like that it is a good idea yeah you know what i don't like there should be like you know how there's pose law of someone does something so ridiculous you can't tell if they're parodying something anymore there should be a similar law for you will do twice as well with any gun that you pick up than you would have done with that same gun in a class that you made that should be a law because i can pick up a saw if you haven't opened it yet three times yes i'll pick up like i'll have like an m16 red dot and i just compulsively pick stuff up or i just kill someone and i'm like oh oh, an ACOG saw, useful, and then swap and grab it, and then
Starting point is 00:47:45 for like the next minute, it's like, man, why the fuck don't I have an ACOG saw class? I'm on a 13 kill streak in like a minute, this is crazy, got a helicopter going, and then you go and you make that class, and you're like, ah, this is why I don't have a ACOG saw class, because it doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:48:02 Yeah, but I do that all the time. The G3 is good again. That used to work, right? Not in COD 4. That was the games afterwards I think they started doing that. And I like it because, I don't know, anything to raise the skill level I usually like, but what I
Starting point is 00:48:18 wanted this time around was the same game all over again. I saw a lot of discussion today on the Call of Duty subreddit about, well, if they remastered Modern Warfare 2, would you want one-man army noob tubes back? And it's like, no. That's an unintended exploit. Like, when they programmed the M16 at 925
Starting point is 00:48:34 RPM and 40-30 damage, they did it for a fucking reason. That's what they wanted. In the original COD 4, if I switched from, say, a saw to a pistol, I couldn't run faster? No. No.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Oh, I had no idea. And also, so your run speed is determined by the class of weapon that you picked at the beginning of the game. So if you picked an RPD, if that's what you started with, you can get rid of that RPD and pick up an Uzi, but you still run like an RPD guy. Even if you don't have an RPD at all. Yeah. Or the opposite. Now you've got an Eagle and an Uzi.
Starting point is 00:49:05 What if I start off with a Scorpion and then I pick up your Saw, now I'm running around like a Scorpion? All the classes have the same run move speed. I think the shotguns and the submachine guns are the same. And I think the M21 has... But I said Saw, right? So that would normally make you slower,
Starting point is 00:49:22 but in this case it wouldn't. If you start the game with a submachine gun, regardless of which one, you'll always run like a submachine gun, even if you've got a saw and an RPD on your back. That's another, yeah. What if there's any GB strategies to exploit that? You know, you just switch guns at the start of the match. It's probably too much trouble.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Yes, yes there is. Yes, I've seen that done. There absolutely is. So what people would do, yes, you had, I believe there was 10 seconds to do it. So what they would do in GBs is they'd run extreme conditioning and run like hell and then boom, boom, boom, back to their M16
Starting point is 00:49:58 dead silence and then they've gotten like three steps of advantage that they wouldn't have otherwise. That's definitely a thing. I remember that, yeah. That's too much trouble for three steps of advantage that they wouldn't have otherwise. That's definitely a thing. I remember that. Yeah. But that's too much trouble for three steps. Just play the game.
Starting point is 00:50:11 There's probably some map in some situation where that makes all the difference. Yeah. Being there a fraction, being there one step earlier and being able to draw your gun and be waiting, aiming at that window rather than you both getting to the window and aiming at each other is a huge advantage do you guys remember the moho jump which is that when he jumps off crash three-story and lands on the thing and survives it's not a particular place it's a technique where if you like if you get into a full sprint and then like
Starting point is 00:50:40 i think you quick turn sideways and jump diagonally. It goes a few pixels farther. And in some cases, there's, like, huge benefit. You can get to places you can't get without the moho jump. And it's hard to do, too. Like, I was never a player who could hit it every time. Moho was, obviously. But, like, if I'm in a situation where no one's looking and I can do it repeatedly, I'll make that jump. And yeah, Fear Moho discovered,
Starting point is 00:51:10 like X-Cal discovered a thing in Modern Warfare 2 with the shield, like a way to hit a little quicker. Moho discovered a way to jump a little farther. And yeah, I was always so impressed. I don't even know what competitive God's doing now. And I don't know if it's me who's just sort of stopped watching that sort of thing or if the whole scene is shrunk I think they're on PlayStation so good riddance
Starting point is 00:51:31 Right like I'm on my Xbox. I would never go to PlayStation I will oh another thing you can do now you can switch the triggers and on on Xbox So now your triggers can be bumpers and your bumpers can be triggers and with a g3 like I saw this I watched Hutch's video and he's talking about this. So the G3 isn't, he said it was not fire rate limited at all. And I don't believe that because I still can't pull it as fast as I can pull the trigger. But it shoots much faster than it did post-patch in COD 4. Early on, it was completely unlimited, as was the Desert Eagle, M9, all the semi-autos.
Starting point is 00:52:03 And then, of course, we all got modded controllers and our G3s turned into, oh, it was $25. G3 was badass. So the, but this time around, the G3 is definitely a good option as an assault rifle. I would say, you know, M16 is definitely still best. I prefer the AK because I'm just better with it, but then it's the G3 for sure. I do not like... I've never liked the G3. I don't know why. I didn't like it in the first one. You said it was good, and so I gave it a few games of a go. I just don't like the single-fire weapon, I don't think. Either that or, like we were talking the other day about sensitivity,
Starting point is 00:52:37 I think I play on too high of a sensitivity to do the G3 as well. Because I was on 10, and I'm at 7 now, and I like that for the M16 and the AK and all the assault3 as well. Because I was on 10, and then I'm on 7 now, and I like that for the M16 and the AK and all the assault rifles way more, because I get panicky when I see somebody to the side, and if I go down to 4, I feel like I'm like, No!
Starting point is 00:52:57 No! Like, turning so slowly, but with 7, you can whip over there real quick, and then likely overshoot the guy, and then hope for the best on the second and third shot. But my whole brain, I want to get good with the G3 is three to five. If I if I'm on five, I feel like I can't hit me. And I haven't played even this time, but I feel like I can't hit anything. It's all over the place.
Starting point is 00:53:16 If I'm on four, that's just right for me. And every now and then I'll try three like to get more accurate. And I feel just like Taylor is like, oh, like oh man you know i could do better than this it's slowing me down like yeah i felt like i had more talent than three would let me exploit like have you ever had somebody sprint by you where you're aiming down and they come around the corner and they just go boom and and you have to go on three you know like and it's like damn or two. HQ Fighter played on two. What the fuck?
Starting point is 00:53:47 Why would he do that? Because it made his long range shot that much better. Those are some selective clips because we missed a lot of clips of someone just walking up next to him and him going, No! And then they go, cut his throat.
Starting point is 00:54:02 That's the more common clip, I think. I think I'm on sensitivity 4. I'm really digging the game. It's a shame that some of the changes that have been made really impact my favorite game mode, which is Search and Destroy. But, you know, I'm definitely still enjoying some of the other game modes and having
Starting point is 00:54:18 a lot of fun with the game. I'm glad they did this. I'm almost, uh, I'm level 50 now. I think I'm like 40 i'm 40 something somewhere in there yeah i think chiz is up above me he's probably prestige by now well he's been doing the the headshot boosting so he's been getting a ton of xp i'm sure yeah yeah the uh there's so many camos this time around woody and and unlocking them is a task so you get your red tiger i'm sure you remember how to do that it's like it's a bunch of headshots. Yeah. It's 150 headshots. And then you unlock these other
Starting point is 00:54:50 challenges that are for the other fancy, crazy camos. And they require you to do different things with the weapons that aren't headshots. So it's things like, um, for the desert Eagle, it might have been like prone kills or prone headshots. I don't remember which but I know with like a Lot of it is bare bones kills so now all of a sudden if you want like a gold shotgun I think you have to get X amount of kills with the w1200 with no attachments, which is just shit Do they bring hardcore? Yeah, yeah, I've been playing a good bit. They brought back everything even old-school mode That is that the one we jump extra Is that the one where you jump extra high?
Starting point is 00:55:26 I think you do jump extra high. It's like 200% health. All weapons and perks are pickups. It's just kind of a silly mode that I played a handful of times and just didn't find any use in, but they brought it back. There were more exploits in it. It's Kyle. Kyle, is your phone near your wires?
Starting point is 00:55:43 That's what it was. The phone was near the wires. It was near the wires wasn't near the wires um the electrical interference perhaps what's that gonna say oh there were exploits in it like if i went in old school it's like you can guarantee there'll be people outside the map because they did a pretty good job of making so players couldn't go outside the map and most of them but for oh, man, all of a sudden people are jumping on top of other people's heads and getting places. RPG jumping and stuff. RPG jumping.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Tons of silliness. Yeah, I know on Ambush, you know, that's the one with all the dead tanks in the middle, and there were a lot of places to jump. You could get under the map. You could get out of the map. You could get all up on all those buildings. You can still get on the ones that we would all consider okay right um but then there's some places where you cannot go now you can't really it used to be that if you were careful
Starting point is 00:56:34 and especially in a private match where there aren't assholes shooting at you you could tiptoe and two steps this way and then sprint jump and oh now i'm in this one and now i just need to like double jump and grab this and pull up and i can jump into that one and i don't think you can do all that shit anymore but you can definitely like run jump off the drain pipe grab the wall pull yourself up take a few steps over hop up get up on top of that building and and and now do your thing but you can't get out of the map i haven't seen that yet but you're asking about hardcore mode that's that has come back i've been playing a good bit of hardcore um really, really? Yeah. For like the G for like ranking. Oh,
Starting point is 00:57:06 I never played it either, but I did notice that when you went in there, you either came across like the, the handful of times I did play it like in 2008, whenever the hell we were playing this game, 2007, it was always just really new, terrible people who didn't know how to play. And they jumped in or people who,
Starting point is 00:57:23 that is all that they did was play old school where they're they're playing like i know to run 760 hardcore or old school uh or it's like you know i need to run half a click this way there will be an m16 i'm gonna pick that up there's a grenade close to that run and get it and so then you run up to him and you're like hey i've got you know my acog mp5 not very useful but i found it and he's like that's cute ace m16 you know three times frag like he's already good to go but i don't i don't like that game type hardcore required a different play style like you had to be a little more conservative you couldn't just if you're used to like running across a gap and it not killing you
Starting point is 00:58:00 in hardcore it would and uh but the people who played it and played that way all the time would always act like they were the superior race like oh i'm better than you i play hardcore i don't play soft core like you do i only play hardcore and it i always hated hardcore you're totally right you're 100 right in that because i even had friends who were like i only play hardcore and it's like oh you play the game mode where everybody sits back and it takes one bullet to kill people. And so it's really mostly a game of who plays the most aggressively and who is the least patient loses every time. Which maybe that's what you want. Maybe you like super, super conservative play where you're playing kind of how Wings does.
Starting point is 00:58:41 I've had hardcore TDMs. playing kind of how Wings does. I've had hardcore TDMs. I had a hardcore TDM just yesterday that ended 35 to 34, I think. You know? Like, that's slow. That's 10 minutes of just meticulousness. But, on the bright side,
Starting point is 00:58:56 on the other end, I've had games, like one of my 20 killstreaks is from hardcore. It was like a 22 killstreak or something. Because on Ambush, I, you know, off-spawn, I went and got in that two-story building. If you're playing Search and Destroy, it's on the defense side on the right.
Starting point is 00:59:12 I went and got in that one. And I just put my claymores down, got out my M21, and I, you know, it's one UAV jammer, of course. And in just a few minutes, I got my helicopter, and the helicopters in Hardcore on an open map like that just destroy everything
Starting point is 00:59:27 it can be really rewarding to play hardcore because you can clear some people out if things are going your way the problem is when it's not going your way there's a 10 second respawn timer depending on how many of your teammates are up and about at that moment
Starting point is 00:59:43 so sitting there for 10 seconds and then spawning back in and then insta-dying makes you want to just fucking quit and play something else. The algorithm on those helicopters, it killed the person who was at the top of the lobby and it killed the person who shot at the helicopter. Like if you did a hostile thing towards the helicopter, it'd be more apt to get you.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Both of those things describe me. Helicopters just fucking loved Woody and God, helicopters. I take no chances with helicopters anymore. both of those things describe me helicopters just fucking loved woody and and god helicopter i take no chance helicopters anymore like i i don't run if it's right on top of me i stay 100 still i don't move they're like snakes you know if you don't move they're way less likely to shoot you i think there was a thing for a while that they wouldn't shoot you if you did not move from where you spawned and maybe this was a later call of duty but like i remember in one where you spawn in if your team's just getting railroaded and like everybody's getting hammered by a helicopter in
Starting point is 01:00:33 a spawn if you just stand there 100 still and don't touch your joystick it'll just be firing at you willy-nilly and nothing will happen but if you just barely tap like to look to the left it's just and you're dead. I've been shooting down a lot of helicopters because with the RPG shooting straight, I put it on a good many classes because I shoot it at people now. Off spawn on some of the maps, I'll run, take 20 steps, and then shoot
Starting point is 01:00:57 a car all the way across the map with my RPG. In Search and Destroy the other day on Vacant, we were on defense and we start off and I sprint to my right into the back of the hangar. And usually you can throw a grenade way out there and hit the green card that's by the window hop-up on A hallway. But instead, as soon as I got into the room and I could see out there to the shipping containers where sometimes you can get sniped there. It's usually – that's what it is. They have a few snipers, and their snipers sprint ten steps to the left and try to
Starting point is 01:01:25 shoot you in the back of your hangar and you're doing the same. But instead, I hopped up and shot an RPG and it just and hit the fucking car and they're spawning. Got like two or three of them. It was hilarious. I was, moments like that are when I play. Like I was screaming. Chiz was like It was great. I love moments
Starting point is 01:01:45 like that. There's no better feeling in COD of that and the random grenade that you don't have. It's disappointing when you have that grenade and you're like man, I know exactly where to put this and it's going to be a killer and then nothing happens. Then other times you get the three kill but there's no better feeling than coming around the corner
Starting point is 01:02:01 and vacant and there's like six idiots all aiming the same way and you just happen to have like a p90 or an rpd and you just see you just feel that like visceral like like the hit markers you know that's that's one of the best feelings there's some kind of like a a dopamine drip from from those hit markers you know if they took out the hit marker sound you can disable feeling. You can disable it. No. Oh, Jesus, why would you? Who would do that? You can disable a lot of things.
Starting point is 01:02:28 Go in the audio options and turn all the music, the announcer, all that off and it'll help with the game 100%. I also put the game on surround sound. For some reason, it was in stereo at first on default. So I went in there
Starting point is 01:02:38 and changed a bunch of stuff around. I need Ahmed every once in a while when I'm on the OP4 to yell, you know, capture the objective! Because it gets me going. I know at that point he wouldn't be yelling if it wasn't true. The only thing I miss is...
Starting point is 01:02:52 If we had the objective, he'd stop yelling at me. The only thing I miss is the, get it done, Marine! You're all that's left! I don't have that anymore. So sometimes in the search I'll be like, what the fuck is everybody? And I'll press the button and I'm the last one left I I got I had a couple aces in search and destroy that's really like the the biggest heart-pumping moment was killing all six the enemy team on bog the other day in search and destroy just
Starting point is 01:03:17 running around it like my my health is like at half because every time I round the corner I get into another gunfight and I barely survive it and what I really want is to find a corner to sit in so i can heal up for a minute and like take a breath but i just keep running into them and it's just like run around this court stab the guy and then pick up his mp5 and kill that guy and ak around the corner please don't let them find it oh they're here so much fun with search like when everyone's dead and everyone's watching you like i would feel the pressure especially if i'm like look i never pretended to be famous famous like you know i can't even buy gas by myself they just swore me at the pump but in a cod lobby i would be like famous like you know like yeah a quarter of the people there would know me and uh and it's like oh they're
Starting point is 01:04:03 watching me they're they're expecting me to play as well right now as I do in those cherry-picked games I put on YouTube. Yeah, that top 5%. I've never felt nervous about doing an episode of PKA. That goes out to a lot of people. But if I hear that, like, you're all that's left, comrade, and I'm playing,
Starting point is 01:04:23 and I know that at least one person i know is at home being like let's see what taylor's got i go into like almost a panic like all right my hands are so wet i don't even know if i'm gonna be able to pull the trigger where do i go what i always end up what i always end up doing is doing what i assume the people watching think i should do instead of playing like intuitively i'm always like well if they don't see me run towards the bomb they're gonna think that I'm a real asshole. So I'll just jog on over to the bomb and take a look and be like, oh, even though you're
Starting point is 01:04:49 4-0 right now, almost get an airstrike. You don't want them to make fun of you for not playing the objective and letting them take this round and running around. But yeah, I don't play Search. I haven't played a single game of Search the entire time yet. I've been getting a lot more airstrikes in Search than I ever used to. That used to be a real, real rare occurrence to get an airstrike in search.
Starting point is 01:05:05 But I'm getting a fair amount. I mean, not like dozens or anything, but I've definitely gotten five or six. Yes, instantly. No delay. No delay, because that's bullshit delay. I earned this fucking airstrike. I went over there and killed five out of six of the enemy team in a mode where
Starting point is 01:05:21 you only get one life. Let me drop my airstrike. That'd make no sense to put a spawn on. I feel like an airstrike. You can get a chopper and I've seen it. What has to happen is like the parties have to be matched up just right so that the game can't put like three people have to join your game in a
Starting point is 01:05:38 party and it can't put them on your team because you'd have eight so it puts them on the other team and they've got seven. Like you can have a seven on four instead of a six on six. your kill streak resets every round yeah yeah yeah no no no no it's yes yes oh oh okay you're talking about search sorry yeah yeah you gotta get five in a round yeah that is that is a feat i've also noticed that airstrikes seem maybe it's because i'm just better noticed that airstrikes seem... Maybe it's because I'm just better at placing airstrikes now,
Starting point is 01:06:07 but I seem like I'm getting way more kills with airstrikes than I did in COD 4. They might be better. I don't know anything about that. And way fewer kills from helicopters most of the time. I think the helicopters are doing about the same amount of killing, but they're definitely getting shot down more because A, everybody's got RPGs,
Starting point is 01:06:23 B, the RPGs are better, and C, it's a better class of players who are playing this game. Everybody's just shooting them down. And they've always been fairly weak, you know. One RPG plus like 200 damage I think will do it. I think an RPG maybe does like 1,000 damage, and then the helicopter has like 1,200 health. So it seems like, you know, you snipe it twice and hit it with an rpg and it's dead can we talk about they go down politics for a second what's up uh i just so as it's as it sits about 11 and a half percent of north carolina is reported hillary's up by four percent there
Starting point is 01:06:56 and in new hampshire it's eight and a half percent but she's up by 12 i don't know how significant that is because eight percent like is it a good measure but i thought was fun was in jersey 0.5 has reported trump is winning 60 to 30 and they're calling it for hillary just like it's jersey 90 people have voted they've counted 90 it doesn't yeah okay the numbers are bigger it's's 32,000 people have voted. And Trump is up, like I said, 60 to 37. And they're calling it for Hillary. Because it's Jersey. Because it's Jersey, yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:35 Well, it's going to go for Hillary. Trump doesn't have a shot tonight. It's going to be, I think, in the next 90 minutes, it'll be over and that's it. I think he'll lose something that he has to win i think he'll probably lose ohio or something like that and then it's like all right it looked like he was okay in ohio pre pre-game what was that interesting about this time around it just it that's why i think it's clear that a normal republican could have fucking taken this thing because normally it's about can we win ohio and this time it's like no no they fucking despise
Starting point is 01:08:04 her there like it doesn't even matter that donald trump is donald trump he's got a real good shot in ohio so like a the right stuff that so he's courting the auto industry which is huge in ohio i know you know this but some people might not that that ohio apparently is next to michigan with regards to who's making these cars and uh trump is over there saying ford if you ship those jobs we're going to put a tariff on it and no one will buy your car because it will be too expensive. That's why Ohio loves Trump.
Starting point is 01:08:33 It's just filled with that kind of no college white voter. There's a lot of that in Ohio. He should have went with a pro-Crystal Meth thing and he would have won Florida out, right? Bath salts. Yeah, going to legalize Crystal Meth. All of a sudden he's up he's up 10 points in florida he's winning oh i didn't realize how much of florida had reported they're at 70 that's pretty significant and trump's up by
Starting point is 01:08:57 i was gonna say two percent but it's one it's 49 to 47.9 well that's pretty good depending on the county right because i i wonder, I don't recall, but I think we all know that there are particular counties and areas in Florida that are very important and very liberal and or conservative, you know, holdout points. So Florida is such an interesting thing. Our electoral system is just fucked, right? Like, if the three of us were going to sit down and make a new one would any of the the the core elements that are that are part of it now remain
Starting point is 01:09:30 i don't think so like like i'd get rid of that stupid electoral college i'd get rid of all of the the way that the gerrymandering has ruined it uh all that stuff like it there's got to be a better way it's just so shitty how we choose our leaders would be fucked um republicans own the house of representatives and they've had fewer votes for something like three elections in a row now they say it's likely to happen this one too it's just that you know they densely pack all the democratic votes so that they uh they lose now but the reason the republicans are able to gerrymander like that is that they have more governorships. And the blue guys would stop it if they were governor, but they're not, so they just get fucked.
Starting point is 01:10:14 Yeah, Republicans are way more likely to – sorry, go ahead. They need to eliminate the party systems in general. We shouldn't be able to even know who anybody is – there shouldn't be a party. There shouldn't be a party at all. No parties, like none. The other problem with the parties – and i find this incredibly interesting i don't know if other people will but people jump on a team and just go for those things right like if if you tell me not you but hypothetically if i talk to someone and they're very strong and they're pro-gun that gives me a pretty good predictor as to whether or not they're pro-life
Starting point is 01:10:45 or not. Yeah, right? You know, if they tell me a cluster, yeah, if they tell me that they're pro-life, I have a real good vibe on whether or not they like capital punishment. And the same thing is true of the blue side, right? And this isn't unique to either Republicans or Democrats, but people just become like they root for their favorite team instead of like caring about their favorite issues. And I think I'm immune to that, but I imagine that everybody thinks they're personally immune to that. I think I am. Because the way I'm against capital punishment, I'm pro-marijuana legalization and pro all drug legalization, heroin too, crystal meth, bath salts, all of it. It should all be legal,
Starting point is 01:11:23 legalization and pro all drug legalization heroin to crystal meth bath salts all of it it should all be legal tax and regulated it's it's the only way to like you get our you know yeah it's the only way no legalized put in a store you gotta go get you got to go buy it but somebody's gonna it's the only way to stop it from being a criminal activity like you know yeah a criminal activity and it's the only way to get people on the on the track to bit getting healthy you know it's the only way to get them well is to stop making it a crime and start making it a disease,
Starting point is 01:11:47 which is what it is, unlike fat people, which is, that should be a crime. That's the other thing. Obesity is a crime. Drugs are a disease. Myers, 2020. Actually, Kyle, I agree.
Starting point is 01:11:57 And actually, I think most of us agree on every issue. We don't agree on the candidate because we prioritize them differently. But when you talk about guns, pro-life, criminalization, especially when it comes to pot. Are you anti-capital punishment? Because I am now. It just doesn't make sense to me. I am.
Starting point is 01:12:12 We're killing too many people that don't deserve getting killed. It's not an effective punishment. And it just seems like we spend so much money with the death row program. And it doesn't even work. Like people sitting on there for 20 years not getting killed. Either kill them or don't. Yeah. I don't have strong feelings about it. Inst like it instinctively i'm pro capital punishment i like
Starting point is 01:12:30 the idea it's just that we do it so poorly and i'm like well why don't we just do it better like and then it would be a great idea but then other people like there's no way to do it like the thing i don't like about capital punishment and i'm against it is that i don't think the government should be a tool of someone's vengeance and or an engine by which people get recompensed for a crime like oh they you know this person murdered your daughter i'm very sorry they're going to be locked up forever for murdering your daughter it's not you know well we're gonna you know you know we want them dead we want them dead like it's something is i don't want to say morally wrong about it because i mean of course if someone killed a family member of mine i would want them dead but i don't think
Starting point is 01:13:09 there's some people who are unredeemable vengeance there there's some people that are unredeemable and i think that's the core concept behind capital punishment at least it is in my heart it's like there are monsters you know there are guys who go out there and like you know bilk you know a whole corporation out of its savings, bonds, or whatever. You know, take everybody's money and now thousands of people don't get their retirement money. Yeah, put him in jail. Why would we kill that guy?
Starting point is 01:13:32 But then there's the guy who like really likes killing and raping. He really loves it. He likes seeing children in terror while he rapes and murders them. We got to kill that guy because there's something wrong inside his brain that we can't fix. Yeah, but that's like sterilizing and then killing kill him no it's not about him making new kids like who knows ideally like yeah you'd want to kill that monster jeans sterilize them and kill them i don't see a problem with this well okay shoot him in the balls two balls with one stone you know
Starting point is 01:14:02 i would bring back some of the old school punishments too but but no but on a serious note like like what my beliefs and the things that are important to me are an aggregate of both sides that's why i hate both sides because you're you're they're both fucking me neither one of them are giving me what i want and they just want to take from me what they want like they don't see me as someone to please they see me as someone to exploit and that's why i hate them both so the republicans are of course you know evil and gerrymandering mostly old white men who might be part of some new world order for all i know and could be the i think i think that the uh the conservatives guys are more likely to be some
Starting point is 01:14:38 sort of grand scale evil more often than the liberals the liberals just don't know what the fuck they're doing and on this down all land on the low end i think you might be right on the high end i think the liberals are very much like in control with the key holders i really want to give you guys the cpg videos i think they're super well made and it explains so much i've seen game of thrones yeah i get the whole workings it was eye-opening for me i was like right. It talked about political dynasties. Why, like, even in America, relatives come into political power at a rate that's way beyond what, like,
Starting point is 01:15:14 chance would be. We see it constantly. Yeah, the Kennedys, the Clintons, the Bushes. And not just that. Like, of course, at the time, you know, the name that gets stuck on our, that kids have to memorize in school, that's one thing. But if you dig a little deeper and look at all the the interconnective incestuous
Starting point is 01:15:29 nature of our ambassadors and uh you know that the people who are the the joint chiefs of staff and all that stuff like everybody is is fucking sucking everybody off and giving sideways hand jobs here and there and i'm this guy's cousin, and oh yeah, he works on Hillary's campaign and Bill's campaign, and he works for CNN, and he's on the payroll of the Saudis. You know, everybody's just fucking together in the ass. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:54 Did I actually, did I just describe an actual person with that? Until you went to the Saudis one, yeah, you were doing really good. No, that came out today. There was a guy who was an agent paid for the Saudis who also worked alongside them. Like that woman's name I can't do.
Starting point is 01:16:06 Like, Amah. Huma Abedin? Yeah. Huma Abedin. Like, someone related to her is on, I don't know if it's the Saudi payroll. It might be, but it could have been, like, the Kuwaiti payroll or something like that. It's always the Saudis. They got the real bucks.
Starting point is 01:16:19 Dude. The Saudis are evil. Can we all agree on that? Yeah. And America still loves them. What is that about? I need to break off ties with Israel and the Saudis are evil. Can we all agree on that? Yeah, and America still loves them. What is that about? We need to break off ties with Israel and the Saudis. I'm on board.
Starting point is 01:16:32 President Myers would set up some sort of false flag operation in which we made it look like the Saudis destroyed Israel, and then we'd go in and clean out the Saudis. Israel's gone, the Saudis are gone, and then we move in. You could set up a false flag or just wait for that to happen. Yeah, there's that. I mean, there's not like if you talk to someone in Saudi Arabia and you're like, how do you feel about Israel or like Jews?
Starting point is 01:17:01 Like I feel like the average person isn't going to be like, well, you know, I respect their differences and they have a different culture, but you know what? Our borders begin where they do, and, you know, that's the end of that. It's going to be like, no! Like, fuck them! Like there's a huge percentage of people who hate Jews. I just think, you know, don't – you have a false flag card as President Myers.
Starting point is 01:17:20 Don't burn it. Save it. You know, you can't be setting up false flags everywhere. You fall into use it domestically like bush did i see what you're saying yeah he played his card he played the domestic false flag card fuck new york i can't win that state i'm gonna fucking false flag and bomb them no one knows what temperatures steel melts at no one will look that up.
Starting point is 01:17:46 It's not like there's some large interconnected web of information that's easily accessible by anyone with a phone in their pocket. Buildings are made out of aluminized steel, right? It melts. There are too many carbons to burn at that temperature. Yes, you just burn up. There'd be anything left. Well, this is going to...
Starting point is 01:18:04 Yeah, call it a show. All right. Well, this is going to... Yeah, call it a show. Yeah, this... Look, we'll know how the election turns out for PK. Lock her up! Trump is winning a few votes right now. I hope she wins and they take it away from her. That's the real prize. Let's end on that note.
Starting point is 01:18:18 PKN, episode 117.
