Back to school signals a fresh start for students.
New classmates, new teachers, new lessons.
Change is in the air.
But one thing hasn't changed.
The forward government still isn't investing in public schools.
Six years of cuts mean our students aren't getting the supports they need.
They can't wait another year.
If the forward government won't change, it's time to change the government.

from the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario.
Hello, I'm Josh Whitakam and this is Rob Beckett. Hello! And let's be
honest, we are struggling with parenting during lockdown. And we thought the only way to get away from our children is to start a
podcast about how we're struggling to deal with being with them.
This is that podcast.
This is lockdown parenting hell with Rob Beckett and Josh Whitakam.
We're going to be interviewing some of our friends, famous comedians and people from
the public eye about their lockdown parenting and hopefully they make me feel better
because mine have gone feral and we need help. I'm kicking myself it's taken me four weeks to come up with this.
I think the reason it's taken four weeks is the first two weeks were, you know,
it's horribly stressful and anxious times, but being able to be at home and have nothing
to do is quite liberating for a workaholic.
Yes it is and it's been liberating for you as well. Yeah. You only do Friday nights, didn't you?
You've got two children, I've got a child.
I've realized I'm on various WhatsApp groups with my friends that have got children.
And that's become a real kind of pressure valve for me to let off a bit of steam after a day
of parenting.
Yes.
And I thought this podcast could act as that for us.
Well I don't really let off steam, I actively hunt down and search of someone
who's had a worst day than me. And then I go, I ring them and I let them tell me how bad their
day it's been and I laugh. So this is a podcast version of that for us to find some other people that may have had a worst day of parenting than us that will make............ the, their, their, th. And, their, th. And, their, their, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. And, th. thi, their, thi, thi, their, their, I, I, I, I, I, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. I'll, th. I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, toge, toge, toge, toge, toge, togu. thi, thi, thi, their, thi, thi us to find some other people that may have had a worst day of parenting than us that will make us feel better and then hopefully the listeners will get the same feeling
as us.
That's it for now you can find us on all the usual podcast platforms so subscribe, like
and share. And we'd also love to hear from you the listeners about your stories
