Starting point is 00:00:00 We are officially live and by the way, today, we're going to have a debut performance from our body right here. David, you got your guitar ready or no? I got Mario's guitar. It's nervous already, which is good. I got a guitar. That was a great Joe Biden impersonation. We have what incredible speech last night. So we have Adam here. We have Ricky. We have Gerard, great data, we have Kai,
Starting point is 00:00:26 and we have a friend of ours here, Erica, I don't know if they can see her or not, the angle cannot see her. Right behind Ricky joining us for the podcast. We have a lot of things to cover, we've got a lot of stories. Apparently I saw this this morning, you guys don't even know about.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Dubai has been fabricating rain because it is 120 degrees over there. They have made fake rain. You'll see the video of how much it looks. Jack Dorsey says Bitcoin will bring world peace. Jack Dorsey says Bitcoin will bring world peace. We'll read his story. NBA Finals.
Starting point is 00:00:59 Best view like I don't know if you saw the viewership on what came back with NBA Finals. Record breaking viewership. We'll see those numbers here Self driving car and Israeli company got approval in New York City to have their car drive around What a guy just sits back then not touching a steering wheel their test on to see if this is actually come you got a seat a video I was worse than the yellow cab drops It's it's it's a pretty interesting look. Larry Elder was bumped out, but now he's backing back on the ballot. He won the lawsuit. Whatever it was, he's on the ballot, which
Starting point is 00:01:30 is good for California. Rand Paul and Fauci went at it again. I tell you, these guys are like best friends at this point. I want to do some sort of Jake Paul Mayweather fight. Fauci was shaking his face. And as much as Lebron loves China, he got rejected by China. He got space jam, which is, I don't know what happened. I thought there was a level of loyalty there, but that's exactly what just took place. And then we got a bunch of other stories. So having said that, for the sake of starting with a fun story, for the sake of starting with a fun story,
Starting point is 00:02:01 let's start off with Jeff Bezos. Why he's loved so much? Is that okay with you? Let's go to page three. Jeff Bezos, we were watching it live last time. He went into space, came back down. When he landed, he did a couple different things. One, he gave, Jeff Bezos says Blue Origin
Starting point is 00:02:19 has sold nearly $100 million worth of tickets for future tourist trips to space, business inside a Blue Origin, officially open ticket sales, in a morning before Bezos flight. And in his post flight press conference, Bezos said the company was approaching $100 million in private sales already.
Starting point is 00:02:33 If not clear, it's not clear if the company sold any private tickets before the officially open sales on Tuesdays. But Tuesday, Bezos and Blue Origin didn't disclose seats prices for the journey, which travel 62 miles above the Earth's surface, a seat next to Bezos on New Shepherd went for $28 million in the company's auction,
Starting point is 00:02:52 and the winner pulled out due to scheduling conflicts, and Oliver Damon, the 18-year-old, took the place instead of him. So the tickets for Virgin Galactic on the edge of space is $250,000 and includes a space suit. So now, a couple of things before we go through this. Obviously, we saw the New York Times story with Lasos. Lasos thinks Amazon workers and customers for his vast wealth prompting backlash from
Starting point is 00:03:17 AOC and many others. He came up there and says, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to travel out here. I also want to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all of this. His comments prompted swift, critical reactions, including from a member of the House representative who serves on tax writing, ways, and means and committee. Space travel isn't a tax free holiday for the wealthy. Says the representative, Earl Blumon, Blum Nomer,
Starting point is 00:03:42 from Oregon, we pay taxes on playing tickets, billionaires flying into space, producing no scientific value, should do the same, and then some. So, I think the opening question for all of you would be to follow on. Why does Bezos get as much hate as he, he lands, he gives $100 million to Van Jones, okay?
Starting point is 00:04:00 He gives $100 million to the shift Jose Andres. He does all this stuff, he still gets a lot of hate. Why do you think that is? Because you have, because what ends up happening is that people are, people are haters by nature, right? They don't like people doing better than them, first of all. And if they can't get a piece of the pie, then they even, they even get more mad, right?
Starting point is 00:04:16 So, but I will tell you, I'm gonna give you my point of view real quick on this, Pat. I was having this conversation with a buddy of mine, and Baker still not so long ago. And he, he was talking about Be of mine, in Baker's field, not to long ago. And he was talking about basil, not in a bad way, but he was saying that he was excessively rich. And I said, you know how much time basil gave back to your life?
Starting point is 00:04:34 And he says, what do you mean, explain it to me? This is very simple. You place an order right now, you get it tomorrow or the next day. You're saving a trip to the store. You could possibly get an accident, you could spend more time at home with your kids, you could actually help them with their homework. You don't have to do these, you don't have to do all these daily
Starting point is 00:04:50 activities as much because you can literally buy everything on Amazon. He facilitated your life at a cheap price. If the man gets rich doing it, that's America. It's home with a free land of the brave and opportunity for all. Not opportunity until you think it was too much taking advantage of. Right. So the reality is I don't care how rich the guy gets. Because at the end of the day, because of him, I'm able to order stuff that comes to my door.
Starting point is 00:05:13 It avoids me a trip. It avoids me time. It saves me time. It saves me money. And I can do things that are more importantly than going to Walmart to pick up some freaking toilet paper or whatever it is that I need milk or whatever the case.
Starting point is 00:05:24 Why do you, why anybody have a different, very great argument right there. Any other reason why you think he gets as much hate, pick up some freaking toilet paper, whatever it is that I need milk or whatever the case that I want. Why do you, anybody have a different, very great argument right there. Any other reason why you think he gets as much hate as he gets? That's actually, I mean, it's a legitimate question because you start to see like all this hate that's come towards Bezos and obviously you see it. I'm by the way, just so you know, it's left and the right. It's not like the hate is only from one set. He's getting it from both sides.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Why is that? I think that's a good question. Obviously, we all grew up watching Superman and he's been compared to Lex Luthor, the bald guy. You know, what's he up to? He's evil. Don't return from space. We don't want you back here.
Starting point is 00:05:54 It's like, let me just say something. I haven't had a car in 10 years. If I don't have to leave my apartment, I won't. I order Amazon for everything. Like the other day, I wanted something for my cats. Yeah, my said my cats I just ordered it. Boom, it came the next day. You're absolutely right. I think No matter you said people are haters by nature. I'm wondering why that is like I think a lot of it has to do with ego Right like the ego is not a major. Why do you think it was the beginning of time though?
Starting point is 00:06:20 Why did why did King kill able he was jealous of them. It's in our DNA as humans regardless of race. I mean the first brothers in the world won Kulebom together. I think it's a little bit different because I really don't like Jeff Bezos and the reason I- Okay so yeah let's hear that. That's good. So the reason why is the system that we keep talking about is broken like you know the the corporatist which isn't capitalist it's corporatist right system that we have. which isn't capitalist, it's corporateist, right? The system that we have, he exploits every single loophole possible. He does it publicly, he does it.
Starting point is 00:06:50 He's like explain that. Okay, so the fact that this guy is able to accumulate the wealth that he has, right? Which nobody in the beginning is going to say, wow, don't accumulate wealth, nobody at this table. And as a staunch free market guy myself, if you don't like Amazon, feel free to buy anything else. There's some good things you can't. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:07:08 But what he does, and he has a team, and it hits smart to work within the system, but he exploits the system through and through. He goes into new locations, he makes sure that he gets the best tax situation possible in the system. He has different locations. So we're mad at him because he's getting a negotiation? No, no, no. I see the thing is I'm not mad at him. No, no, I'm just saying so what do we do?
Starting point is 00:07:29 I think what happens, this is what I'm trying to say. I think what happens is that he publicly represents everything wrong with our government and our system. But in what sense? Because he, he exposes it is what I'm saying. I know, right now he exposes it. But he's playing by the way, is he doing anything illegal?
Starting point is 00:07:43 No, perfect. He's doing anything illegal. He even says the people that have a problem with me are mostly right. That was actually him. I know, right now. So he's playing by the way, is he doing anything illegal? No, perfect. He's doing anything illegal. He even says the people that have a problem with me are mostly right. That was actually him. What I'm specifically talking about, okay? He got $10 billion during an economic recession
Starting point is 00:07:54 after a pandemic to go play, just a tip with the outer atmosphere. You know what I'm saying? Like, he got a big, veiny space rocket and went to outer space. Can't get that dick out of his mind. Can't get that Johnson out of his mind. Can't get that Johnson out of his mind. It's all in, can't get out of my mouth, Adam.
Starting point is 00:08:07 But the thing is, he's had it before. The thing is, he gets $10 billion. And the first thing that the government says when he goes to outer space, the first thing that they say is, where's our cut? We tax you and we tax normal people. Well, time out. You shouldn't be taxing us either. You don't get to give $13 billion to American Airlines
Starting point is 00:08:28 for them to never take off on time. You know, so the fact that government, the first thing that they did when they got back was where's our cut, right? It wasn't that we gave you $10 billion that should have been reallocated to people who really, really needed after being held political hostage for 18 months.
Starting point is 00:08:44 You see what I'm saying? No. I'm not mad at Bezos for taking the money. I'm not mad at anybody. been reallocated to people who really, really needed after being held political hostage for 18 months. You see what I'm saying? No. I'm not mad at Bezos for taking the money. I'm not mad at anybody. We talked about this a couple of weeks ago. I'm not mad at anybody that takes government money right now because if the government's going to hand it out to their boys, you get yours.
Starting point is 00:08:58 If you play by their rules that they refuse to play by, you're not noble. Let me get this up for PBD. Go for it. Because it's something that comes to mind. It's like, why are all these ultra tech billionaires, the Jack Dorches of the world, the Bezos of the world, the Zucks of Burgh? Why do they always lean left?
Starting point is 00:09:16 Why are they Democrats? It's a fair to say that they mostly kind of vote stepping in and talking because, because of regulation. But progressive policies help them. Higher than wage, help them. Correct. Open borders help. Exactly. It doesn't.
Starting point is 00:09:30 It drops the way. People talk about taxes, right? That's been a past. They're not worried about taxes, bro. They're worried about regulation. Let me play ball. Is that right? They're in a, by the way, Anastya said he gave 20 bucks.
Starting point is 00:09:42 It's because the workers who treats workers like crap I'm a worker's deserves 30 hours plus he's greedy unionist to the TG answer the answer It's the workers who did it. That's him the other one. It's a snaggo. This is from little panda club He says it's not ego people project outwards cuz they are afraid to assess inwards Exploitation is not illegal. It might be unethical anymore. Okay. So just real quick on that, Bezos has spoken about that. And he says, look,
Starting point is 00:10:10 he basically optimized the work hour, the work week within the current employment laws. So he again, is exploiting the rule of law. People are saying it's unethical to have the people work that way and his thing is, okay, when the laws change, I'll change it. But is he wrong?
Starting point is 00:10:24 Is he wrong? No, is he wrong? It's not change, but is he wrong? It's the perfect thing. It's like you said, it's the difference between being legal and unethical. So okay, but here's a question to you. Okay, perfect. And by the way, I'm not disagreeing with you. But my question to you today, whose fault is it? The government's or his?
Starting point is 00:10:37 Okay. Well, it's a blurry line. Who pays for the government? Well, he didn't pay for the government before he got into it before he created Amazon. So all those laws and rules and regulations were set before he became who he is today. If he was truly the progressive that he says he is, if he was truly this for the people person, right? I don't know. He's exploiting people's empathy. You know, who also does this? You know, this is is this is eerily similar to someone who uses those exact same rhetoric like Gumree Burns no Donald Trump would say I just the system is I donate the Republicans
Starting point is 00:11:12 Democrats I play within the rules if you don't like it only I can fix it It sounds like like you like Bezos, and you don't like Trump. I didn't say I like Bezos. I like Amazon I like Amazon. I don't care. I like Amazon. I don't care It's not like I'm a Bezos fan. I'm more like I respect what care. I like Amazon. I don't care. I'm a Bezos fan. I'm more like I respect what he's built. A Nas came back and he said it's because he pays zero in taxes. He's greedy, et cetera, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:11:31 So he takes that angle. Okay. The fact that he's not paying any taxes with the money he makes. And then, you know, somebody also notes the, in tune, Nights said, no, that's not the promise because they can smell where the power is. And is the one who has the power right of the FBI and the CIA is the Democrats. That's what they said. Here's my question for you.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Here's my question for you with Bezos. How ambitious you think he is, meaning do you think he has ambitious above being the richest man in the world? Yes. You think so. And what would that be? What do you think his ambitions are? You think he wants to run one day? You think he wants to be a president one day? No. I don't think so. Yes, and what would that be? What do you think his ambitions are? You think he wants to run one day? You think he wants to be a president? I don't think so. I think the
Starting point is 00:12:09 I think the ultra tech wealthy now I really honestly believe that their ambition is to try to live forever That's it. I think that they want to agree. What does that have to do with imposing anything on you? You need the resources. You need as much money as possible. No, I get that. That's totally fine with me But what does I got to do with hurting somebody else if you want to live forever? Let's just say that's your ambition Everybody has different ambitions and fantasies Listen if we all find that everyone's fantasies
Starting point is 00:12:32 You'd probably unfriend 80% of your people are your friends with right? If you were really one sitting next to me. If high five If if 80 percent you got to tap up to right that was high five if 80 but the point is So what's wrong with his fantasy wanted to live forever if that's what nothing? 80% you gotta tap up your art. That was high five in this game. If 80, but the point is, so what's wrong with his fantasy wanted to live forever? If that's what it is. What else you think is his ambitions? You think that's what it is?
Starting point is 00:12:51 You think he has aspirations of the new world order because I wanna have so much money to have control of the world. Well, it seems to me that all these ultra billionaires, the Elon Musk, now the Bezos, even Richard Branson, it's otherworldly stuff. It's like you've already dominated on earth. Congratulations. We're the hundred billion gazillion dollars What's up Mars? What's up moon? What's up next? You know he might my flag of Amazon on the moon Have you guys have you guys heard about the $48 million or $10,000 your clock?
Starting point is 00:13:19 He built that he's built right now He put 48 million out of sky can you pull up the article here? So this guy built a 48 million out of clock called the 10,000 hour 10,000 year clock He's building it to bury it in a mountain. I know if you guys have heard about this or not He's building it 42 million dollars click on it 10,000 year clock. Okay Jeff bases was building a 10,000 year clock inside a mountain. Go up so we can see the pictures. Does that mean a 10,000 year?
Starting point is 00:13:48 Well, okay, so go a little lower so I can read this. So, okay, engineers and contracts are building a massive multi-room clock inside a mountain in West Texas. A clock that we'll tell time for the next 10,000 years. And despite the informal website with a whiff of block spot, this is Jeff Bezos project. There are a lot of surprises in the story of clock of long number, number of times, 10,000.
Starting point is 00:14:07 So who first imagined a 10,000 year clock in 1986? He's visiting professor at MIT, et cetera, et cetera. So if you go up a little bit, his idea with this clock, when they ask him, why are you doing this? He says, long-term thinking. I'm a long-term thinker. So he's building a clock that's going to outlast how many generations, 10,000 years?
Starting point is 00:14:26 And he's gonna bury it apparently in this mountain in Texas. I don't even know which mountain, because Texas doesn't have any. Texas has a mountain all this up. This is where he's gonna plug in on West spirit, gives the AI. Here's a thing with a guy like this to me.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Okay, a couple of things with a guy like this to me. Number one, you know, one, he's gonna get targeted because you have a couple of things what a guy like this to me. Number one, you know, one, he's going to get tired of getting it because you have a lot of money too. I think he's a terrible communicator. I think he's a terrible communicator. Who the hell was his publicist or his PR rep that approved the script for him to say, I want to thank all my employees and customers for paying for this. Dude, I told you that script for you. Go hire a writer for you to teach you how to write a damn script to say, hey, employees, thank you so much for working so hard.
Starting point is 00:15:12 You paid for this. Like to thank all the little ants down beneath me. It's, by the way, it's almost as if you are giving people the opportunity to trash you. So number one, I think he's a terrible communicator. Number one, he's a terrible communicator. I don't think he's a good communicator. Number one, he's a terrible communicator. I don't think he's a good communicator. Number two, I think he brings some of the stuff upon himself
Starting point is 00:15:30 because a lot of these billionaires, like I remember one time I said what Mike did, I'm in Chicago, I'm interviewing him. It's probably one of the least viewed interviews out there because it's not the Mike did that you and I remember where he says, here's a coin buddy, call buddy call somebody who cares you know and he goes back and forward the media and you know all this stuff I sat down with the interview and he was so apologetic you know I probably shouldn't have done it that way I probably shouldn't have done it
Starting point is 00:15:56 this way I probably shouldn't have done it that way and I'm sitting on like why are you apologizing you killed it you're in all time you know know, you created the position, tied-and. You went out there and you won as a player. You want as a coach. Are you kidding me? You're like an ultimate badass of a man. Stand your position with who you are, right? You're getting so much pressure from media
Starting point is 00:16:17 where some of these guys are constantly feeling like they have to apologize. You're the richest man in the world. You've created 1.2, 1.3 million jobs worldwide. He is worth $250 billion, between him and his ex-wife, and a amount of money she gave away. Put the two together, it's about worth about a quarter of a billion dollars. He owns 16% of Amazon.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Let me say this one more time. 16%. That's 51%. That's 60%. He's only a 16% owner of Amazon. Amazon right now is worth what? $1.8 trillion, right? States a $2 trillion company.
Starting point is 00:16:48 If he's worth 16%, it's what? 320, if you take $300 trillion out of the, $300 billion out of the $1.5 trillion, it's what? $1.5 trillion. You did this math before, right? You're not doing this right now. He, I just did it right now. This is basic stuff, guys. This is not complicated. This is not complicated. I just said it right now. But this is basic stuff guys.
Starting point is 00:17:05 This is not complicated stuff. Well, I'll put it in the calculator. Here's the point. The point is this. This man has created $1.5 trillion for others. Let me say this one more time. He's made $1.5 trillion for others. You don't think he exploits his employees?
Starting point is 00:17:20 Let me go to that argument. Let me go to that argument there. So let's talk about exploiting your employees. I have a hard time understanding exploiting your employees. Let me just why let me explain to you why So you're exploiting your employees in 2021 in 2021 with the I with all this stuff that's going on you cannot do that today Exploding your employees in 2021 with Instagram, with Snapchat, with TikTok, with Facebook, with live, is mathematically impossible.
Starting point is 00:17:48 And not only that, and not only that, it's absolutely dumb, okay, for you to be able to do something like that. Let me continue a little bit more with this. Why? Here's why. First of all, back in the days, you know Ford got a lot of heat for people who work for right? And they would say, you making people, because if you look at the stats, Kai, I don't know if you have these stats or not. You know back in the days in 1889, the average amount of hours, the average worker in America
Starting point is 00:18:12 worked 69 hours a week. Yeah, in 1889. In 1889. Oh, 18. In the 1920, 1930s, that numbers were still in the 60s. It was like 63 to 65 hours a week. The average employees working 63 to 65 hours a week in what year? And we're talking 20 30s, it was like 63 to 65 hours a week. The average employees working 63 to 65 hours a week
Starting point is 00:18:27 in what year? And we're talking 20s, 30s, right? That's because of who? Ford. Ford was the biggest employer. They just employed so many. So I was like, 18, 30, 69 hours. 69 hours, you're seeing the numbers.
Starting point is 00:18:36 And it's coming down to like, no, they go like 50 hours, all this stuff, right? And then if you look at when the 9 to 5 thing came about, everything dropped below 40. You see that number right there, I'm 1934, 39.2 hours, 38.7 hours, so that was because of Ford. They came out with this idea to say, you cannot get people to work this thing out.
Starting point is 00:18:54 You need an M4, 1 back and 4, and they negotiate. And the guys are like, listen, if I'm gonna give you 30 years of my life, you gotta give me some kind of a pension for the greed. Boom, that's how pension plan came about. Yeah. I'll work for you, you give me a pension plan, right is in the during that time so okay great today you don't like how hard mamasons working you guess what if it's so bad we have a nessa right here she quit she didn't like
Starting point is 00:19:17 it's great power to you well what was it like working for amazon? And that's it? Honestly, yeah, no, it's so, in my opinion, I feel like they pay, it shouldn't be 16, it should be at least 20, for the amount of packages that we move around. But yeah, if you have another option to leave, leave. Is it true that you don't get a bathroom breaks and stuff like that? It's very hard. Like, you technically do, but you can feel the pressure for sure of like, if you go like all eyes
Starting point is 00:19:47 from the managers aren't you and it's not comfortable. And what you said about the phones, yeah, you cannot have your phone on you. I know that's true. Yeah, and by the way, here's the other part, like the question about that. Okay, so you know how many people today, how many people today come out of college?
Starting point is 00:20:04 Like one of the things Reed Hastings talks about the founder of Not founder. He's one of the guys. Mark is the founder But he's one of the guys at the beginning Netflix. He'll write. He's the guy that helped the company be worth a couple hundred million By the way, they lost 123,000 subscribers last I don't know if he saw that I post pandemic. We'll talk about that Here's one of the things he said that I'm meeting one time Reed Hastings. They're sitting there And I said you know what was the best feeling about Netflix? Everybody's like what? He says it felt so good that people finally wanted to work that Netflix
Starting point is 00:20:32 Just to put it on the resume that I worked at Netflix. He says that's when we knew we made it You know how many people want to work on Amazon to put it on the resume? You say no, no, no, I disagree. You think people want to put that on the resume? Like it's like some say do yes They do people want to put that on the resume like it's like some Yes, they do yes They do people want to put in the resume that they work that good JP Morgan that they work that Goldman that they work at Facebook that they work that these places because they're in that world with Amazon him talking about How much is making people work similar stories with what Sam Walton went don't work there leave Don't work in an environment like that nobody
Starting point is 00:21:03 I'm shocked that you're taking this. You're notorious for treating your employees well. You go above and beyond for your employees. No, that's already talking about what I'm saying. What I'm saying to you is if I mistreat you, leave. I don't deserve you. Gerard, you were with us before. Okay, you because of a personal relationship,
Starting point is 00:21:21 you went back to what? New York, and you and I had a conversation. One of the most eloquent emails ever written was written by you. Okay, when you relationship, you went back to what? New York, and you and I had a conversation, one of the most eloquent emails ever written was written by you. Okay, when you left, you left, I said, I like this guy. You left, where are you right now? Back here?
Starting point is 00:21:33 Why are you here? Well, you? Look, but the point is, but how do I treat you? Very, very well. Would you be here if I treated you like shit? No, no. But you left, you went and saw the market,
Starting point is 00:21:43 then you're back. If Bezos. But you left, you went and saw the market, then you're back. If Bezos treats people so bad, then leave. We are not forcing anybody to work over there. Now, let me give you the negative side of why I think he gets a black eye. Here's why I think he gets a black eye. So I think the problem is the following. I think if you play politics when it favors you on a party and you don't want it doesn't favor you, that's when you create enemies. Meaning, hey, I'll go team up with these guys if this is going to favor my company, but I'm not going to team up with these guys if this doesn't favor my company. So you become a flip-flopper or you become somebody that can't take a stand for certain positions that you got, fastest way to create enemies. Take a stand, make a stand what you believe in. If you do that, you ain't gonna have a prong with that.
Starting point is 00:22:26 But Bezos right now, sometimes people don't know where he really stands. Do you stand with the guys that say, I'm not gonna pay that much taxes? Do you stand with the people that say, hey, let's take care of the employees? What are you standing with? You stand with Jeff Bezos.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Do you stand with Bernie Sanders? Do you stand with Trump? Do you stand with Biden? What are you standing with? What's wrong with playing both sides though? If you're a businessman. I think as a businessman, no, it's nothing's wrong with that, but you're gonna be a target.
Starting point is 00:22:47 That's all my saying. You're gonna be a target if you pick one side anyway. No, but you're everything. If you're saying I'm all progressive, I'm like, you're the right. Let me put it to you this way. I may not like AOC, but I respect AOC. I may not like reponancies.
Starting point is 00:22:58 I got a lot of respect for AOC. You have no idea how much I respect Bernie Sanders. I respect Sanders because he takes a stand. Here's a position This is what he believes in. Yeah, you to me to me Sanders Sanders when he ran I was flabbergasted when he When he threw into town and says I'm just gonna go support by it. I was flabbergasted because head to head debate Sanders against Biden Sanders will destroy Biden in a debate. It's not even close
Starting point is 00:23:24 Because he believes in what he's talking about. He's destroying Hillary and then they submarine them. And they did that twice by the way. They did that twice by the way, which means even Democrats don't want socialism to be in America, which is, which is, you say that one more time? Even Democrats don't want social. No, just play that clip. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 00:23:43 no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, or a socialist or a capitalist. More socialist. Definitely more socialist. I'm asking him. Yeah, I think there's a mixture of both. I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't think he was full socialist. It's a, I don't think he was full capitalist. I don't, it's a basic question. Do you think he was a little bit further left than he is now? Tell me why. I think like anyone, you have to evolve and change.
Starting point is 00:24:23 I don't think that's what it, and what, I don't think he's gonna help change all And what helps you to move out of the changes then. When you start realizing you're paying taxes and the money's being used for nothing, you start kind of questioning and saying, what the hell you guys doing with my taxes? I think that needs to be a little bit more. The more you create commerce
Starting point is 00:24:38 and you're doing your part that's above and beyond your peers, you start questioning a little bit. So you start off with this concept of socialism being noble until you compete in the marketplace and like wait a minute man I'm doing a lot more than the other guys doing why is he now that's not fair so eventually you become a capitalist so eventually like yeah I'm not a socialist I'm a capitalist Obama today is a capitalist he ain't no socialist just everybody know million dollars to speak at Goldman for an hour yeah he ain't no he ain't no so he's bad so going back to it, look, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:25:05 I think some of these guys need to stop apologizing. I think we need to realize that a guy like this, he has a playbook that he used. He went and bought Washington Post to control his narrative. That's his YouTube, that's his Twitter, that's his New York Times, that's his LA Times, that's his, you know, time magazine that Mark Benning-Half-Bot from Salesforce, and he's delivering his message through that. So, let me circle this back to you and then we'll do this. So, he said that he thought that Bezos wants to live forever.
Starting point is 00:25:32 I said he wants to kind of take over space in the world. What do you think Bezos' long-term plan is? You showed the example of the clock. Is it legacy? Is it living forever? What do you actually think it is? Yeah, I don't know. I, the only thing that I can think about is power.
Starting point is 00:25:49 It's the only thing I can think about is power. I think there's a part of them. I think there's a part of them. This is going to be pretty difficult. So go to certain people who grew up, not getting a lot of attention. Go to a certain group of people that didn't have girlfriends in high school or didn't get a lot of attention, didn't get a lot of play, they were kind of boring.
Starting point is 00:26:08 And then later on, give them a lot of money and power. They want to go back and make up for the 16th, 17th year. And come for a lost time. What they didn't do because they didn't get the attention. Now it's like coming like this from all over the place. But let me make one quick point. Yeah. You brought up who's helping him with his messaging?
Starting point is 00:26:29 Who's helping him as messaging? So let me just say one thing. And I'll turn it over. He says, I want to thank all the Amazon employees and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all this. All he needed to do was substitute one word, paid for all this. When you reach this man in the world,
Starting point is 00:26:43 stop using the word fucking pay Just say you guys enabled this you guys Made this happen. Whatever. This is this is giving you credit rather than you paid for all this. I'll take it Here's my point Jeff Bezos was a freaking nerd in high school long time ago though Okay, but still you've seen you've seen the picture of him and Amazon calm and he's just in his library And he's half bald and he hadn't shaved his head yet. He's like, I think I'm gonna start with a bookstore Dude the guy was a full-class nerd now. He's the richest man in the world is a public figure Like you said his message a good looking guy today like
Starting point is 00:27:19 But wait a minute. No, no, I'm not talking with what he's got. He's working with what he's got. He's banging Lorraine The Sanchez. He's made it work. He's doing his thing, respect. But the point is he's making up for lost time. But you know how they say, you give someone money and they don't change. It exposes who they really are. So if you give a good man money, he'll do good things.
Starting point is 00:27:43 You give a bad man money, he'll still continue bad things. I think he's just a full on nerd who's now got $100 billion. And he's doing his thing. His messaging is horrible though. Two points on that. All right. First point is I agree with you. I agree with Pat.
Starting point is 00:27:56 The repentant rich are the worst human beings on planet earth. Nobody wants to hear you complain and nobody wants to hear. I was a part in this. I wasn't. If he came out and he was like Why did you go to outer space and he was like Cossack could bitches? I'd be like this is the coolest dude on earth. That's Cossack Cossack was there. What do you mean? Cossack was there and I wanted to be there and I'd be like, yo, Basel's this guy gets it, bro
Starting point is 00:28:21 Like stop complaining about everything when you're rich buy a couple jetskis be like Ah, this is dope. You should try this Like you know what I'm saying like yo go get another job. This is wow That's what I want to see out of the rich because if the rich keep crying What's the point of any of this man? Like what is the point jump off a bridge like if Prince Harry can't be happy Married to a freaking model. I'm a pretty pretty good. Everything's hold good dude. Come on, man Oh, you're talking about the pretty even Meghan Markle I said same Get a fast car and drive and be like who this is pretty fun after all. I look being wealthy
Starting point is 00:28:51 Dude, that's what I want to see number two the revenge of the nerds is a real thing Everybody in Silicon Valley is running the world right now. They're running the narrative. I wasn't a movie That was a document It's all everybody that runs our life right now looks like we put a picture of ogre from revenge of the nerds ogre Yeah, Gerard you could star as ogre and the next revenge of the nerd. Yeah, I'm ready for it Let's get those nerds. Yeah pain of a So by the way that movie would be cancer cultured in a man. Can you imagine that or porcupine? There's Gerard I believe there's a ruin everything I love! Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Okay, hi. Oh, Ger! Yeah, exactly. Gerard, respect. Okay, let's go to, by the way, if you're listening to this and you're yourself, if you're listening to this, seriously, if you're listening to this, if you don't think he has any other major ambitions, like you're like, okay, I think he just wants to be
Starting point is 00:29:52 whatever, comment below, let us know what you think, Bayzo's as major ambitions are, and if you're enjoying the podcast so far, help us with the algorithms, press that thumbs up and subscribe to the channel and click on that notification. Okay, let's continue, let's continue. Next topic. Let's go to US Life Expectancy in 2020. So the biggest drops in World War II go to page five. Let's take a look at the story here. Okay. All right, so where we at here? That's a good until the middle. All right, so US Life
Starting point is 00:30:21 Expectancy in 2020. So the biggest drops in World War II, AP news. US fell by a year and a half in 2020, the largest one year declines in World War II. Public health officials say when they did the decrease for both black Americans and Hispanic Americans was even worse three years. The drops spelled out by the CDC is due to mainly COVID-19, which is responsible for close to 70% of the overall life
Starting point is 00:30:42 expects expectancy decline more than 3.3 million Americans died last year, far more than any other year in US history with COVID-19 accounting for about 11%. That killer, killers other than COVID-19 played a role drug overdose, push life expectancy down, particularly for whites and rising homicides were small, but significant reason for the decline for black Americans. For decades, US life expectancy was on the upswing, but that trend stalled in 2015 for several years before hitting 78 and 10 months in 2019.
Starting point is 00:31:11 Last year the CDC said it dropped to about 77 years and four months. Thoughts. It got up to 80 years, man. We're doing pretty good for a long time. When I was a kid, if you've been somebody in the 70s, in their 70s, you were like, wow, that's doing pretty good. Like nobody in my family, like, you know, this goes back to kind of,
Starting point is 00:31:30 we got to reevaluate the ageism and everything else where, you know, we used to think like, I remember when Tom Kaufman was being ousted by the giant. I'm like, he's seven years old, that's two old. I'm like, he didn't grow up 12 years old, smoking marble or reds. He wasn't working in the mind since the time he was nine. We're all doing more later in life.
Starting point is 00:31:48 If we go, I think it was for the longest time it was stagnant at 72 years. Now it got up to basically 80, at 79 and 10 months, and then it retracted back to 77, which I have to imagine has to do with older people dying of course, right? Well, you can remember we're living in the baby boomerah.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Like the baby boomers dying out. So a lot of people are not understanding that the baby boomers are on that age and they're dying, right? They're born in World War II, they're in their 70s and 80s. It makes sense why in 2020 there's a drop in life expectancy because they're dying out. So we had a combination of COVID and baby boomers are passing away.
Starting point is 00:32:25 I mean, the math makes sense. Seems scary if you don't know what the hell you're talking, you don't know history. But this doesn't bother you at all. There's no red flag about this, right? Why? Why would there be? Let me tell you why.
Starting point is 00:32:35 Because the three main points said number one was, well, one of them was COVID. Second of all, was drug overdose. So COVID didn't kill me. Yeah. Actually didn't do anything to me. Well, it didn't do anything for me. The big apartment did. Well, it didn't do anything to me. I don't use drugs and I have a,
Starting point is 00:32:49 I don't think that I'm gonna get, I'm killed by a black guy. So as long as I don't feel like. You have so many guns. So I have a lot of guns. So they're probably gonna end up, you know, on the other side of it. So, so the thing is like I said,
Starting point is 00:33:00 so I don't feel like I'm gonna find these three categories in time soon. So I'm not worried about it. If it doesn't affect you, you shouldn't worry about it. I just the truth. That's predictive analytics. You're just mad. Like three options, yep, pretty, pretty, probably not
Starting point is 00:33:13 going to fall for any of them. Oh good. So what's your point with that? Let me use this. So you're saying what? You hear his question? I didn't. He said, does it worry you?
Starting point is 00:33:21 Is Ernie wearing flags? Gotcha. Are you at this podcast or the next one? I don't know. I'm selling space of Esos. He asked the question. I just answered the question. Ricky, let an expert weigh in right now.
Starting point is 00:33:30 Let me tell you something. Oh, wow. God. There's a lot of things we can, you know, banter about. But there's actually, we're waiting for an expert. Yeah, exactly. There's actually, Pat, what's my business?
Starting point is 00:33:41 I'll, uh, life settlement. This is actually business. Okay, so my business is life-settlement. What life expectancy? You're in the life insurance business. You settlement. This is actually business. Okay, so my business is life. Life expectancy. You're in the life insurance business. You recruit agents. That's your specialty. You're a producer, comedian, part-time nerd, crusher. PBD is a businessman, entrepreneur. I deal with something called life settlements. And the foundation of this business is life expectancy. I buy people's life insurance policies off them for cash. If you're ever familiar with structured settlement.
Starting point is 00:34:07 How is that? Relax, relax. Relax, I'm not talking real quick. Real quick, real quick. Real quick, just on that. Yeah. I understand that business model. I just don't understand why people like you
Starting point is 00:34:16 don't hire hitmen after you acquire some of your uses. Long question. If you know Byron Yudell, he's got a similar thought process. However, we buy people's life insurance policies for cash today. If you've ever seen structures of JG Wentworth, well, 877 cash now, you can get a cash payment now for your assets. Just like your house, just like your car, just like your jewelry, just like your art, your life insurance is an asset.
Starting point is 00:34:40 But the foundation of that is life expectancy. How long are you going to live? How long are you going to live? How long? So, women live longer than long are you gonna live? How long? So women live longer than men. Yeah, of course. Healthy men live longer than sick men. Healthy women live longer than unhealthy women.
Starting point is 00:34:52 It's all about life expectancy. So if you get someone's life medical records or APS, you're probably familiar with this in the life insurance world. You get their medical records or APS. You can use analytics to predict life expectancy. What's my point in all this? I know how long people live. The healthier you are, the longer you live,
Starting point is 00:35:08 especially with females. So in terms of life expectancy, the number one killer by far is heart disease. That's because everyone America's fat overweight, no bees, and they're eating like shit. Oh, damn. I'm sorry, you're strong. You're like strong fat.
Starting point is 00:35:20 You're not just like fat. You know what I'm saying? He's like, baby, he's not baby. He benches 500 frickin' pounds. It's not like you're just He's like, he's like, he's like, he's like, he bench his 500-frippin' pounds. It's not like he's just, you know, you're getting forklift out of the house. Is that how he got his seat? And he sat on the other side of the seat.
Starting point is 00:35:32 These two were fighting over the seat. I was like, you know, that's his gut. By the way, Ricky has lost, I don't know, maybe like 40 pounds to imagine. About 20 pounds. Shout out to you, Ricky. They look crazy. And shout out to your beautiful white back there. Number two is cancer. Okay, so let me tell you something about cancer. I've,
Starting point is 00:35:46 I've dealt with this. I've had a girlfriend that cancer. You might think you're doing great. Boom. Next thing you know, you get fucking cancer. Right. Shit. I came out of nowhere. Yeah. That's something you can't plan for. Of course. Number three, this past year was COVID. Okay. That was a blip on the radar. Obviously life expected and going up during COVID. Why? Because people are catching COVID. A lot of old people are dying unhealthy people fat people dying. Number three, beyond that are accidents. People die because of accidents, okay? Car accidents, you know, you're whatever. I mean, we can go on and on and on. Number four is respiratory disease, COPD, long, whatever. Number five stroke,
Starting point is 00:36:22 Alzheimer's diabetes. All right, what's my point in all this? People are living long. It's something that you always talk about. Something path that actually he just, I think you tweeted this the other day. Something he's a path getting a little creative right here. This is the greatest time to be alive. As a human.
Starting point is 00:36:38 I agree. Like 200 years ago, a guy named Gerard or a guy named Ricky could have just came and just beat you over the head with a shovel. You would love that. Or shoot you in the streets and and and what do you live again? What have been such a good one? And Baker's failed and that's it. It's over. Now like they'll be an investigation.
Starting point is 00:36:54 Okay, so people are living longer than ever. Do you know the life expectancy in 1960 in America? Had to be 62 63 years old. Correct. It was 62 years old. 1980, do you know where it went to? 69. 73. By the way, do you know in 1961, life expectancy was 62, you know where it wasn't India?
Starting point is 00:37:14 41. 40. 40. Something in India. I don't know, they don't need a lot of meat there from what I hear. You know in 2000 what the life expectancy was? In America, 76. In India, in 40 years, it went from 41 to 62.
Starting point is 00:37:31 Okay, that's a 20-year-old. What is credit to what it credit to? What a credit to? What a credit to? Modern advancement and medicine. People aren't smoking cigarettes. Do you remember the movie, the show, The Mad Men? And just, they're smoking, like, imagine.
Starting point is 00:37:41 Freedom torches. Imagine if we were all just sitting right here, just smoking sigs, smoking sigs all just sitting right here just smoking six Smoking things just having the time of our lives point is now life expectancy is up to 78 80 I think as people look we all know people that live to 90 100 no problem Warren fucking buff it is 90 what how old is as he these days 90 Charlie mongers 95 result Bottom lies if you take care of yourself, and you don't smoke, and you don't eat like crap,
Starting point is 00:38:07 you could live to 90, 100, no problem. Millennials in Gen Z are gonna en masse, live to age 100, that's my prediction. So let me ask you guys a question. While you're doing this, by the way, that was very helpful with all the data you just gave. Blacks, Hispanics, whites.
Starting point is 00:38:23 Who lives the longest? White. Yeah, whites. Okay, who's second longest? Hispanics, whites. Who lives the longest? Yeah, whites. Okay, who's second longest? Hispanics. Who's third? Blacks. You ready? Can you pull up this article? Okay, so check this out. So Browns have a little bit of white room.
Starting point is 00:38:35 So for Sanctuac. Do control F hits 72? Okay, no, control F 72. This is March 29th. Okay, go down. Okay, right there. The report shows that while black Americans live to 72 Whites live to 78, okay? Whites live six years longer than blacks, but you ready for the shocker go to the next article I sent why privilege?
Starting point is 00:38:58 In fairness, look better What? Watch this. Watch this. However, the life expectancy at birth for US Hispanic population, 81.8. Hispanic slip, Rosicone Pollyll, is the secret, is the Rosicone Pollyll. Did you see that? By the way, Hispanics live longer than whites and blacks. Why is that?
Starting point is 00:39:17 Why do Hispanics live longer? I mean, you got, it's because their women are tranquil and calm and never fight with them. Yeah, that's what it is. Eric put away the knife. That's what it is. I'm going to attribute something just for my personal experience for being Hispanic. In case some white lady in Congress wants to talk for me, now I'm going to talk for our
Starting point is 00:39:40 people because I know our people. My experience is being my people. We believe a lot in home remedies, right? We believe a lot in that. We don't like Hispanics won't go to the doctor, not much, I'll take away these from doctors or medical advancements, but a lot of things are solved at home. You know, they're not, they're not, they're, they, they solve a lot of things at home and they know flowers and they know fruits and they know it's very, you get to remember a lot of things at home. And they know flowers and they know fruits and they know, it's very, you get to remember, a lot of his, my next Atlantic is the Latin America and Central America, a lot of them live in rural areas, right?
Starting point is 00:40:12 So you're 30 minutes from a hospital, spider bite, a scorpion bite will kill you, snake bite will kill you because by the time you reach the local hospital, you're dead. So they have to learn a lot of natural remedies in a lot like, for example, I'm gonna to give you an example, you have tooth pain. It's very popular in one, and I know it's Columbia, but in Mexico as well, is to chew on a cocoa leaf because it numbs it. So like a lot of, like, you would go here,
Starting point is 00:40:36 you drink Advil, right? And in some drink Advil, yeah, drink Advil. Or drink tequila. Yeah, drink tequila. But over there, you can chew on cocoa leaf, and it'll, it'll actually bring down the pain. Homeopathic. Yes, exactly. So, there's a lot of natural remedies. I just pulled up the article that I asked the question, why do Hispanics live longer? Why do Latinos live longer?
Starting point is 00:40:54 So this article, this is a he or I, that orc article. Number one, it says, Guadrentena. Guadrentena is what it says. It says, one tradition seen in Latin cultures, but rarely Western cultures. Quarantana meaning quarantine. During this tradition, the new mother rests for 30 days, 40 days and bonds with her child will. While relatives or friends handle
Starting point is 00:41:12 all the cooking and household tradition, someone helps treat the mother, how to breastfeed, et cetera. And her book, called, called, and she was like, this luxury is nearly impossible in the United States where there's no federally mandated pill case.
Starting point is 00:41:21 So number two, food. I get a learned that the value is self-care through food when she worked at Cafe Maya upon a Mexican restaurant and downtown Alpazzo. It's sort of ingredients from a community farm, aiming eventually to source off. So okay, so natural food. Natural food, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:34 Because they do them as family and community. The same philosophy of looking inside, translates into Raito del Sol, they care a learning center, they care beneath Andrade's, Lamuid Obreira, Umbrella, their female community members teach reading math, Hispanic science to about 35 children and infants within.
Starting point is 00:41:51 They want to talk about the women help each other. Okay, so let's just say there's a community. There's sometimes more culture. I know it's gonna help you live longer, but okay, I guess. Sometimes our culture's narrowed down to just folk, Roi, folk, Lorico.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Folk, Lorico. Yeah, what is that? Folk, Lorico. What does that mean? Folk, Lor. Yeah, it's, well, Florico is actually folk roi folklorico folklorico what is that folkloric what is that folklore yeah it's uh it's while floricorico is actually towards a dance it's where the with the women are doing with the overseen that yeah by the way quick shout out to the role of your ars on your Hispanic accent middle eastern but i mean this is rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you're firing away. You've been panicking. We need more than that. We need the math and subject took us. So that's that. Anyways, but look, it's to be honest with you, if you think about that, if you think about that,
Starting point is 00:42:31 if I were to tell you Hispanics live longer than whites and blacks, none of you guys said it's not. It's interesting if you think about that. I don't know, man. But I don't think it's Hispanics. Let me never, let me never, never done. I don't think it's Hispanics in America.
Starting point is 00:42:43 No, this is America. Latinos in America. That's that. Well, the thing is that also it's Hispanics in America. No, this is America. Latinos in America. That's that. Well, the thing is that also it's funny. We were talking to this conversation with Erica. Yeah, we travel a lot, right? We go to Mexico. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:51 We eat what we hear and you could eat double because the chicken actually looks like a chicken. It doesn't look like a turkey, right? So it's the killer of the day. It's called, it's known as the killer of the day, right? So you eat what you kill that day. It doesn't go through all these processing things, you know? So there's definitely something to that. My sister lived in Italy for six
Starting point is 00:43:08 months and she was eating bread, drink, and wine, and she had lost like 30 pounds, man. I was like, how did this is possible? Like, I'm watching my diet, nothing's happening. I'm moving Italy. Literally, man. And basically what she, she wasn't like doing it for weight loss, but she was, dude, she was party and like eating whatever she wanted to eat and essentially what, what we think about, what we think it is, but she was party. And like eating whatever she wanted to eat and essentially what we think about, what we think it is, is the preservatives. It's the preservatives.
Starting point is 00:43:30 There's something, I don't know if Kai can pull it up because I don't know the numbers exactly, but there's something like the average distance, the food travels from the farm to your table in Europe is like 16 or 17 miles, when America, it's like a couple hundred miles. So they have to add preservatives. Otherwise the food will go bad.
Starting point is 00:43:46 Yes. So the food in America is literally made not to decompose. Your body can't break it down. By the way, check this out. Jesse, he met us, just gave 20 bucks and he said the following. It's because it's rare for Hispanics to put out elders in nursing homes. 100% he's gone.
Starting point is 00:44:00 I was just going to say that. How many Latinos do you know? You know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you're just gonna see Latinos living together that day. Pat, you will get this owned if you do that. So the power of family will be the same. Like 100% is the same way. That guy is 100% correct.
Starting point is 00:44:13 You put your mom in a home or that, you're never gonna hear the end of it. It's a matter of fact, it won't happen. Interesting. We're so close, Pat, that if I have a couple of uncles that I know right now that they put older and their kids die I'm taking them in and they're my uncles. It's not even my parents like I And that's coldly through us culture. You just don't do that my grandmother and I agree with that. Yeah, we've been
Starting point is 00:44:34 It's not even an option. Hell no white people are weird You guys a little about a 50 years old like mom your 50 got to go to a home You guys are about a 50 years old like Bob your 50 got to go to a home Let me flip it is the is the culture also when you turn 18 go and figures no hell no They want you to move in your kids moving everybody don't maybe that's what it is because in America America cultures more 18 go figure yourself out So because the kids maybe are like listen you kick me out. I'm kicking you You know you never seen a putter in the NFL kick a ball as far as my father kicked me when we're 18 Like get out of here. Don't make something of yourself. Interesting. God. We just learned something right now with the life expectancy of Hispanics Okay, so there you go. All right next. Let's go to Rand Paul and Fauci
Starting point is 00:45:24 Folks, how many of you guys have not seen the back and forth with Fauci to Rand Paul and foul chie. Okay, okay, I want to pull up the video video and folks But how many of you guys have not seen the back and forth with Fauci and Rand Paul? I'm curious if you've not seen it. I want to get your reaction for those who have not seen it and you tell me Who you're voting for made a better argument and comment? I don't want us to say it I want to hear it from you. I want us to just watch this while they go back and forth You want to watch the whole four minutes? It's good. It's good the whole time. No, no, I think it's good the whole time. Yeah, I think it's good to hold time. They got to listen to it and Is this this is on what is this on Twitter? Is that where did you get this video from? No, no go show? I want to see where it comes
Starting point is 00:45:56 That's as news backs. That's one news. Okay, so they have it on Twitter the whole thing. Okay, good make it make it bigger Okay, then press play. And get to the watch watch. I think I press pause. Press pause. Press pause. Okay, go back a little bit. If you're saying Rand Paul is winning and he's making a better argument and you believe him, put thumbs up. If you think it's Fauci, put thumbs, thumbs down. By the way, shout out to one of our friends, our kids went to school together. And I'm out of gathering with him. He collects baseball cards. We start talking. So I sent you a special gift.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Like what special gift did you send me? We're at the house. He sent me Anthony Fauci's rookie card. Great. Is that the one that was on your camera? It's a $200 card man. It's about you. All right, so go ahead and play. So thumbs up, Rand Paul's winning. Thumbs down.
Starting point is 00:46:47 Fauci's winning. Go ahead. Of the research that the NIH said was subject to the pause in 2014 to 2017, a pause in funding on gain of function. But the NIH failed to recognize this, defines it away, and it never came under any scrutiny. Dr. Richard E. Bright, a molecular biologist from Rutgers, described this research in Wuhan as, the Wuhan lab used NIH funding to construct novel, chimeric, SARS-related coronavirus is able to infect human cells and laboratory animals. This is high-risk research that creates new potential pandemic pathogens, potential pandemic
Starting point is 00:47:31 pathogens that exist only in the lab, not in nature. This research matches, these are Dr. E. Brite's words, this research matches indeed epitomizes the definition of gain of function research done entirely in Wuhan For which there was supposed to be a federal pause Dr. Fauci knowing that it is a crime to lie to Congress Do you wish to retract your statement of May 11th where you claimed that the NIH never funded gain of function research in Wuhan? age, never funded gain a function research in Wuhan. Senator Paul, I have never lied before the conference. Microphone done.
Starting point is 00:48:10 You're a microphone. Senator Paul, I have never lied before the Congress. Who believes me? And I do not retract that statement. This paper that you are referring to was judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function. What was let me finish? Take an animal virus and you increase the transibility to humans. You're saying that's not gain of function? Yeah. That is
Starting point is 00:48:36 correct. And Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about. Oh, wow. And I want to say that officially officially you do not know what you are talking about we get a lot of the uh... between the n i and chiklin and gane function this is your definition that you guys wrote it says that scientific research that increases the transmissions about transmissibility among animals is gane of function
Starting point is 00:49:03 they took animal viruses that only occur in animals and they increased their transmissibility to humans. How you can say that is not gain of function. It is not. It's a dance and you're dancing around this because you're trying to obscure responsibility for four million people dying around the world from a pandemic.
Starting point is 00:49:21 And let's send Dr. Fashk. I have to. Well, now you're getting into something. If the point that you are making is that the grant that was funded as a sub-award from EcoHealth to Wuhan created SARS-CoV-2, that's where you are getting. Let me finish. We don't know.
Starting point is 00:49:40 Well, wait a minute. I can come to the lab, but all the evidence is pointing that it came from the lab. And there will be responsibility for those who funded the lab, including yourself. I totally resent the lie that you are now propagating, Senator, because if you look at the viruses that were used in the experiments that were given in the annual reports that were
Starting point is 00:50:08 published in the literature, it is molecularly impossible. No one's saying those viruses caused it. It is molecularly. It is. Those virus caused the pandemic. What we're alleging is the gain of function research was going on in that lab and NIH funded it. That is not a little way from it.
Starting point is 00:50:25 It meets your definition and you are obfuscating the truth. I'm not obfuscating the truth. You are the one. It's your side of the experiment. I will allow the witness to finish. Let me just finish. I want everyone to understand that if you look at those viruses and that's judged by qualified virologists and evolutionary
Starting point is 00:50:42 biologists, those viruses are molecularly impossible to result in SARS-CoV-2. All's dependant. We're saying they are gain of function viruses because they're not. They're not all viruses that became more transmissible in human and you funded it and you met the truth and you implying. All your time has expired and I will allow witnesses who come before this committee to respond. And you are implying. Your time has expired and I will allow witnesses who come before this committee to respond. And you are implying that what we did
Starting point is 00:51:09 was responsible for the deaths of individual, I totally resent that. I would have. And if anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you. Okay, so, who do you believe? Rampon, all day. Hang on. Who do you believe? Rampal, all day. Hang on, who do you believe? I'm gonna go to you first.
Starting point is 00:51:29 God, here we go. Stop. Here we go. You know who won that debate? Who? You know who won that debate? Tell us. The rest of us.
Starting point is 00:51:37 Tell us why. I don't, look, and if you guys are gonna pretend that your doctor's here, I know Gerard's gonna put on his gate of function. Oh, you're so mean, you know what I'm gonna do? I already know that you're gonna. I'm so mean, I don't wanna do it. I guarantee youard's gonna put on his gait of function. Oh, you're so mean. You know what I'm gonna do. I already know that you're gonna. I'm so mean I don't want to do.
Starting point is 00:51:47 I guarantee you, I already know what you're going. Any day now, you could just answer that. Yes or no question, Pat asked you. Okay, some of us are. Stalin! Some of us are actually willing to say, I'm not a freaking virologist. I don't know what Gait of function is.
Starting point is 00:52:00 He said who wanted to debate. He's not asking what I'm saying. I don't want to debate. Who won the debate? Who won the debate? The fact that they're debating and having open discourse is what I want to debate. He's not asking what I'm saying. I don't want to debate who won the debate the fact that they're debating and Having open discourse is what I like to see you know where they're not debating this and goddamn We'll have yeah, but what I'm saying is they're not talking about Adam say that they're talking about it in a public hearing We with open discourse the American peace sure so let me I don't know who won that because I don't know what gain
Starting point is 00:52:23 No, no, no, no and half our audience doesn't either so the expert panel here's Adam Let me ask the question one more to Adam. It's can we get some like Those green teas that calm people No, so I'm just asking you simple question. Here's a question. Okay We sit there. We watch Mike Pence debate You know come out of Harris Harris okay at the end of the debate we said who wanted the debate okay the fly wanted the bait but we say
Starting point is 00:52:49 Pence wanted the bait right and then we say okay by Obama debates Ramni who wanted the bait okay depends which one but you know what at the end of it Obama wanted the right okay you sit there and you say but there is no scientific proof to say he wanted because he scored seven, three, he's had 19 rebounds, shot 17 for 19 from free throws and he had 50 points, three, five blocks, that's what he did. Yeah, so all I'm asking you is, from you, as a, let's just say you're a family man, you're sending with your two kids, your wife, you're sending a watchiness together.
Starting point is 00:53:23 Your spirit, you go to bed, buy yourself, you're not telling this to anybody, you're thinking about it. Energy when you saw the two talk. Who are you sending their saying, that guy made sense. All right, so here, let me give you a very specific answer. This is not their first. No, they've had many bad words.
Starting point is 00:53:35 Many bad words. You're right. In my opinion, Rand Paul has won the first few rounds. Okay. Like he has made Fauci look like a complete moron. Sure. All right, at least on this one, Fauci came back and fought back. I don't think he won the debate with Candace, but at least he came back and is like It's on you buddy. I resent what you're saying. Are you convinced? Are you convinced that what he's saying?
Starting point is 00:53:56 I do not have a clear answer on that and I'm not gonna give you my Wuhan theory prediction. I don't know the answer I like that it's an open discourse guys. It's not a a one. So in this particular round, yeah, you give it to I'll give a little bit to Fauci for fighting back. So yeah, although Rand Paul, he definitely has the upper hand for forget about He's normally does. Yeah, forget about the energy going back and forth. He clamped, you know, he came back and he said what he said to him, but based on some of the questions that was asked and the answer he gave are you leaning towards Fauci or you're leaning towards so on scoring energy coming back back the fact that he even fought back and he says you don't know what you're talking about I'm the expert here I got to give him a little credit for that that's it so a little bit okay all right so you to you to you are and I'm not saying that Fauci's right I'm saying in this debate he at least fought back
Starting point is 00:54:43 because in previous debates, he's just sitting there and taking it. Okay, sounds good. So Ricky, where do you have it? Very simple. Rand Paul read, I've watched this and I've watched every single debate they've had. Rand Paul read to him exactly the definition uh... gain a function he read it to him so he says this is your definition of it and you're telling me that what you did was not gain a function is that yes
Starting point is 00:55:13 what do you mean bro it's like you wrote the rules and now you're saying that that doesn't apply to what you did that's exactly what happened so i mean it's you you you and by the way they've already cut his emails. You got to look at you got to look at a precedent. They've cut his emails already right. They've seen his emails. He's been back and forth with the home mass thing. He just he just dast around too much and then by the way
Starting point is 00:55:36 there's been hearings he has not showed up to. So it's like why are you showing up? If you're right and you have nothing to hide why you know what happened is it because he hasn't been showing up to some hearings. He felt the pressure here and he needed to fight. Not only did he have to show up, he needed to fight back because he was not there to defend himself. He chose not to be there to defend himself.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Two or three times already, three or four hearings, he has not showed up to. So I mean, when you could look at, you gotta know the history of what's going on with these two. And by the way, real quick, before I get to you, before we go to your drawer, I wanna encourage all the audience.
Starting point is 00:56:06 This is how you get your information. I watch senators go back and forth. I watch one there, like for example, right now, there's all the nominees right now, right? The right is having all his nominees. You gotta, don't stop watching une vision, tel emundo MSNBC, CNN. You can go on, like we live in an era of smartphones
Starting point is 00:56:26 of stupid people, go to YouTube and go look up Congress debates and you come up with your own conclusion. This is the way you get your information. You don't get it by listening to some anchor that works for a company that's paid off by somebody else in the government so that you can understand how things work because you really don't know what the hell you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:56:43 This is the best way to do your homework. Actually watch the live debates between these two individuals, but times your question and not show Pat Rand Paul took his ass because I've been following this story very closely since it started. Terrible. Uh, uh, I, I actually disagree with the Adam. I don't think that response was good. I think that response was the political equivalent of, I know you are but what am I? It's all he did. He said, I'm rubber.
Starting point is 00:57:04 You're glue. What you say? He bounces off of me and sticks on you. I mean, that was. He tried to cause, don't forget, unlike most politicians who are attorneys, Rand Paul is a doctor. So he understands exactly what he's reading. He understands exactly where to get the information from. So he cited a study from Rutgers, Rutgers University, not exactly a conservative abacus of conservative truth. Right. Who says this is gain of function. That's happening here.
Starting point is 00:57:29 And then he used Fauci's own definition of this function. To describe what gain of function is in the clip. And then Fauci goes, you don't know what you're talking about. And he's like, but this is you. You wrote this. Yeah. This is, I may not know what I'm talking about. But if you know what you're talking about, this is what you said. And he goes, oh, I resent that blah, blah. This is I may not know what I'm talking about but if you know what you're talking about this is what you said Dude it was very simple. Did you do gain a function? I did did you did you pay for it? I did then you're responsible in part for what happened
Starting point is 00:57:53 I was that you would say that I was that you would you my words to describe it in that matter Nonsense. I'll absolutely nonsensical whoever gave him that you know that that advice to come back like that and itself and criminal. You know what it really tells me more than anything else? They have absolutely no fear of us in the public. They have no fear of the common man. They're up here. We're down here and they know the Republicans are not going to have any sort of, any sort of strength to follow through on this thing.
Starting point is 00:58:18 Mitch McConnell and Sean Hannan, your team, our team vaccine. Now, I mean, it's, listen, if there's no consequences for bad behavior, why would bad behavior ever stop? If heads don't roll, if people don't spend their lives behind bars, why would they ever stop doing what they're doing? Pull up the hand of the clip, pull up the hand of the clip of him talking about, you know, the fact that, yeah, just play this real quick,
Starting point is 00:58:41 make it bigger so people can see it. Okay, six and a half million views on 224 hours. Our, our lark's on a parade of us, man. Watch this, go ahead. Just like we've been saying, please take COVID seriously. I can't say it enough. Enough people have died. We don't need any more death.
Starting point is 00:58:56 Research like crazy. Talk to your doctor, your doctor is medical professionals. You trust based on your unique medical history, your current medical condition, and you and your doctor make a very important decision for your own safety. Take it seriously. You also have a right to medical privacy,
Starting point is 00:59:15 Dr. Patient Confidentiality is also important, and it absolutely makes sense for many Americans to get vaccinated. I believe in science. I believe in the science of vaccination. And they're just like we've been. I was up, I was with him up until he started with that bullshit.
Starting point is 00:59:30 What what? I was with them. Take it serious because you should, according to your health. Absolutely. Which bullshit do you have a problem with? At the end when he said what? What everybody should,
Starting point is 00:59:38 or he said the whole thing with the vaccination. That's the science. That's the science. What science in two days, 45,000, so I got a question for you guys. I got a question for you guys. That's a bunch of bullshit. I got a question for you guys. I got a question for you guys. Why did he just change his position and go to this? Because he wants a longer career, that's why. Okay, so here's a question for you.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Is it because of, is it because of Trump telling him, you got to say that, is it because Fox is getting heat and Fox is boss is said for him to say that? Is it because of an internal debate with his wife where his wife's like, babe, why don't you just go and say he doesn't get to see it? He doesn't get to see it. He doesn't get to see it. He doesn't get to Fox's boss is said for him to say that is it because of an internal debate with his wife where his wife's like babe why don't you just go and say he doesn't get to see he doesn't get so so so then so then tell
Starting point is 01:00:12 me why do you think a guy like Kennedy staunch conservative staunch Trump supporter Trump's never done anything wrong in his eyes why is he all of a sudden saying because if you can't beat him join him I don't think that's what it is believe it or not I don't think that's what it is you think that Trump's telling him no I think because if you can't beat him join them? I don't think that's what it is believe it or not. I don't think that's what it is. You did that Trump's telling him to no I think if you can't beat him join him He would have done that a long time ago. He's had 20 years to join him. I don't think he's joining anything But you think the political atmosphere's been the same in the past 20 years as it is right now No, no, I but I don't think Hanate is a kind of person that's just gonna say if you can't beat him go join him I think there's got to be a bigger reason
Starting point is 01:00:44 Somebody called them of course someone called them and said hey I think there's got to be a bigger reason. Somebody called him. Of course. Someone called him and said, hey, here's what you got to take. What's your theory on it? I don't know. Either something's about to be announced. Either something like, let's just say,
Starting point is 01:00:55 48 people at Fox headquarters have COVID. You know, hey, Vaxen, so they're gonna say, either something's about to be revealed that has to do with a data with Vaxen that he knows about, that has to do with Fox News, that has to do with a data with vaccine that he knows about that has to do with Fox News that has to do with Trump that's some like that. So he wants to say he wants to get ahead of it. Either he is seeing that Florida right now. If you have seen the COVID numbers, by the way, COVID numbers have shot up in the last couple days on Florida. The Santerza on fire right now with
Starting point is 01:01:19 what COVID has seen us or no state specific. Yeah, the invagina in the last week. In fact, some people who haven't had previous exposure. Who haven't had previous exposure? Very, very important, yes. It's not people who have had COVID getting COVID again. No, no, it's previous, who haven't had previous exposure. Yeah, but again, so I'm putting all of that to see. Why are you saying this now?
Starting point is 01:01:41 It's a very weird dine. It's like Steven A. Smith going from saying, listen, LeBron James will never pass Michael Jordan as a greatest, and then all of a sudden he says, folks, LeBron James the greatest player of all time. Yeah, he has. You're very concerned. Someone called him. Someone's in his ear.
Starting point is 01:01:57 Something happened. There is no way Hannity's going to switch for no reason. He wakes up one day in the morning. You know what? I just kind of want to give this announcement to everybody. I think everybody should go take the vaccine. I don't watch a lot of Hannity, but I mean, hasn't he been very positive on the vaccine
Starting point is 01:02:10 from the beginning? He was trying to say the vaccine was a Trump win. So I think he might have been vaccine from the beginning, to be honest with you. I think because he tried to positive it as a not at this. He wouldn't have gotten a six and a half million views, not at this point.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Right. If it's, if some like this goes, you think the media is gonna let some like this go away. By the way, CNN comes out and on MSNBC, they said, you know, why do you think he said this? And then the lady says, well, first of all, the one thing that Sean had and he needs to stop saying is the fact that Trump's the reason we got vaccine.
Starting point is 01:02:38 So because the operation warps me, it's not because of Trump. That's because the president Biden, the fact. So he needs to stop giving credit to President Trump on that, but as far as him, not saying that they're saying the fact that people need to give vaccine, we should applaud him for that.
Starting point is 01:02:52 So it's, you know, they're all playing the cards right now. And I don't know, I don't know the story behind this, but I can guarantee we don't know why the motive is from coming us. So do you have a problem? Forget about what he said in the past. Do you have a problem with what he just said? Hey take it seriously consult a doctor. No, there's a problem with that. No, there's nothing wrong with that
Starting point is 01:03:10 Because it's true according to your health you should take it serious in my house in my house Multiple people have taken the shot. Have you taken a vaccine shot? I have not has have you have you taken a medical privacy But have you you you you you really are gonna say medical privacy? Medical privacy. I Joe Biden's watching everything that you do. I don't I don't know. I don't know. But here's a question.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Has anybody in your family taken in with your fear? Yes, yes. Yes, it's not. Shroudingers poison. I could have taken it. I could have a lot of people. A lot of people in your family have taken it.
Starting point is 01:03:42 One day tell you about it. What do you tell them? No, they don't even bother because they already know where I stand with it. No, no, but let's just say has somebody called you about it? They don't bother talking about it. Has somebody called you asking you for counsel?
Starting point is 01:03:51 What do you say, Tom? I tell them, it's funny, and I'll be open about it. Yeah. I had this conversation with my dad many times before he took it. I said, Pops, your life is your responsibility, not mine. You do what you want to do. You do what you got to do.
Starting point is 01:04:03 Because I'm not going gonna be responsible either way. And that's by the way, I encourage that. If people that follow me, I have a lot of people here obviously that watch me follow me on Instagram, I'm just exposing what's going on with the bad side of things because the news is not telling them. So the news I'm not gonna give them the other side of the vaccine, I am.
Starting point is 01:04:20 And I respect, I have friends that I admire and I love and I respect the God vaccinated. That is their choice. I live in America, home of the free, not under the brave, do what you want to do. I do not hold it against you, just don't force that shit on me. Is that some...
Starting point is 01:04:34 Like, forcing the stuff goes down to what I really get sick to my stomach about, or the people who are implementing the door-to-door vaccinations. I get sick to my stomach that, the state of New Jersey that I don't even live in, caused me once a week to schedule my vaccination appointment. So, like, the overreach on this, you don't have to go door to door and give people a biagra, it works.
Starting point is 01:04:54 People seek it out themselves. It's not, I'm not anti-vaccine, I'm not anti-medication, I'm definitely not anti-transite. Yeah, me neither. The fact that they are trying so hard to peer pressure people into taking a foreign substance That's why it's me skeptic. I was exactly right. I would like if you wouldn't push it I would be fine now I would even probably take it
Starting point is 01:05:11 But you're pushing down my throat because if you really care about your health you would get a you would get rid of Alcohol you would get rid of cigarettes There's a million things you get rid of that are killing people on a year. You go door to door making people do 20 burpees. Exactly. So if you really care about me, no, I don't trust you. Sorry. Yeah. So Jalen Rose, I don't know if you guys caught that or not in the finals.
Starting point is 01:05:33 One of the guys in somebody had COVID and I don't know who it was. They came out and said this person has COVID. And even when they took a vaccine shot and this person's got COVID and Jalen Rose opened it up and he's like, look, you know, I don't want people to think they're not going to get your vaccine, you should go get your vaccine. But here's a reality of it. Just because you take the vaccine, it's like having a bullet proof vest, you can still get shot on the face. You can guess, I'm like, the analogy he gave, I'm saying, okay, so the concern then becomes even the people that have taken it. If you do get COVID, it's not because of it's got, it's way too many of these stories coming together where,
Starting point is 01:06:07 I have a very hard time thinking about the fact that this is being imposed on people, even though we don't yet have 100% proof and results on how these vaccines work. It's too much of a imposing, which is a concern. If I could just say one last thing on this, I know you wanna move on to another subject, they've made it very clear that even though you give
Starting point is 01:06:29 vaccinated, let's say it does work and it's a 100% proof, let's say that you give vaccinated, you can still carry the virus. And people are saying, like Kamala Harris, right, said she tried to quote the Bible, that's why you should get vaccinated. And people are saying, like Kamala Harris, right, said, she tried to quote the Bible, that's why she should get vaccinated. She says, love thy neighbor, hold on, slow down, back up. She thinks the American people are stupid
Starting point is 01:06:55 and the reality is a lot of them are. Because if you understand the vaccine, they've made it very clear. It is only to help your immune system. You can still carry it. So what the hell does love thy neighbor have to do with the vaccine when it's very clear that I can be vaccinated and still transfer the virus?
Starting point is 01:07:17 That is bullshit. And you can't sue. And you can't sue. So if you're telling me love thy neighbor, but the vaccine doesn't stop me from transmitting it, but it helps me be immune, then what are you talking about? You guys all work in a liability business. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:31 All the liability. All the risk. It's on you. It's on one person, not the other. Yeah. There's no shared risk. There's no shared liability. What deal would you enter into where you had all the risk,
Starting point is 01:07:42 all the liability, and your partner in this who's forcing you to do it has none. Sarge, you just gave 20 bucks and he said, Fox owners are going to change and the kids promise to bring Fox into mainstream media, which means Sean had anyone who did his job to worry about being an ex-billowrightly. Because at any point you can go from being the number one talk show host in the world, your name is Bill O'Reilly to the next day Losing your job for something he did 20 30 years ago. So at any point could that be it? I don't know what it is, but I'd love to see Bill O'Reilly at this time
Starting point is 01:08:11 I I I don't know he just came out with a book having to do with the mob He should be over here if he wants to sell a you know few 100,000 copies Good seat for her so Larry elder Larry elder governor stated California. Yes. What are your thoughts? I'm sick. I'm freaking excited. Tell us. There's a good seat for your attention. So Larry Elder, Larry Elder, Governor, State of California. What are your thoughts? I'm freaking excited. Tell us why. Tell us why you're excited.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Because Larry Elder is a no bullshit. I think he's from South Central or Compton. Conservative. Pull up his profile. That is just this guy. He doesn't care to offend you. If he offends you, he doesn't care. He believes in American values.
Starting point is 01:08:43 He's pro America. He's pro freedom. He's watch, you know, he talks about it. And by the way, he's been a radio talk host for like 20 or 30 years. He's consistent. This is not, he's not switched sides in the past 20 or 30 years. He has a lot of credit. But he people know who he is. By the way, he has a 62% approval rate in California right now. 62. 62%. So, are you sure about that? They did a poll. They did a poll. They did a poll. They did a poll.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Larry Elder, it was 62%. Approval rating. They did a poll for you. Yeah. They didn't approval. Put the number 62 next to it. Yeah, 62. Keep going.
Starting point is 01:09:20 So you're excited about him because... Let me see. There's a poll that they did. I want to be especially brought it down. So what's happening in California? I'm not paying as much attention as I should. Is it going to be like a runoff? Is it going to be ranked choice?
Starting point is 01:09:35 It's a... Go what? Go what? It's a recall. So on September or September, the ballots go in. But so is it just, is it, is it ranked choice? Is it 30 people who ever gets the most votes? Yeah, it's the same thing like any other, like any other run.
Starting point is 01:09:51 So it's just whoever, whoever can generate the most, are they going to be mailing ballots as well? We don't know, that's going to be the question. Oh, okay. We don't know that, but they did a poll on it. He, he, I don't know, maybe they brought it out. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no But obviously you can't always 100% go off of them. She'd be the governor of California. Wow. And then like number three was like 6%, and then 2%, it was insane. Yeah, that's a big thing.
Starting point is 01:10:29 I guess the question is California actually voting for a Republican governor? Bro, well, people are tired. I know a lot of, I know a lot of Democrats that are tired, that are tired of the way things are going. And they're speaking now, if I showed you my DM right now, man, the people I brought you were right, we need to get this idea out of here,
Starting point is 01:10:44 we need to vote Republican. There's even African Americans this one. They're like, we If I showed you my DM right now, amount of people I broke, you were right. We need to get this idiot out of here. We need to vote Republican. There's even African Americans this one. They're like, we need to vote Republican. We need to, but we need to take a break from the Democrats for a while. You know, remember, I don't know if you ever watch that thing with Kent Williams. He's like, you know, we're gonna get a new president.
Starting point is 01:10:55 Can we take a break from, can we date a president? Right there? That's what kind of four years right now. Can we just date one? Can we just see if it works out? Can we take a break? Can we just single for a while? I have a comedy fit that I do.
Starting point is 01:11:07 So that I talk about. I'm just sick of debates. I don't want any more debates. I want to see these guys do the aggro crack, legends of the hidden temple or something like that. I want to see like competing against each other. Like old school American gladiators. Tell me it would be fun to watch a Hillary Clinton
Starting point is 01:11:22 run around. They might have done brown on that pole. I would not be surprised that they brought it down. No, what I'm trying to find out right now is who are the candidates? Who do they have right now? You can find that. It's a major Williams. Yeah, Kaelin Jenner.
Starting point is 01:11:36 No, bro, major Williams. I like major Williams. You're gonna know that guy's not going to be that guy's not even going to be nowhere near governor for. Who's that? Many, many moons to come. Exactly. That's the problem. Oh, yeah. Major Williams. Major Williams. Yeah, Major Williams.
Starting point is 01:11:49 So is Larry elder the best chance right now? Hell yeah. Okay. Oh, bro, you got to follow him to know like, it's not even a yes. It's a hell yes. Larry elder is exactly what California needs right now. And everybody's only gonna have one here and then he's got to run again, right? Uh, I doubt that.
Starting point is 01:12:04 Good question. But I have no idea. idea all you know what you're right it's a yes it's not the time yes but here yeah that's so could gavin newsome theoretically program some yes you're running over this is this is real so i just decided let me let me send you this i found a link uh... that has larry elder leading everybody including democratic uh...
Starting point is 01:12:22 candidates for recall yep uh... let me tell you to you told you about my side of the so leading everybody, including Democratic candidates for recall. Yep. Told you. I told you by my side for this. Boom. California. California. I told you. I'll tell you a link.
Starting point is 01:12:31 Well, while we have some dead air here, David, why don't you come and strum on the six-string brother? We have. We got so much. David's going to do at the end. David, brace yourself. You'll be all the way at the end. So once we have the biggest crowd, you'll come and perform.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Kaif, you want to pull this out? I'll pull up. This is from a few hours ago. This is from a few hours ago. You found the pat? You found one? It's not the 62%. But this kind of validates. Yeah. come and perform. Calf, you want to pull this up. This is from a few hours ago. This is from a few hours ago. You found the part you found one. It's not the 62%. But this kind of validates.
Starting point is 01:12:49 Yeah. What you're saying, Calf, you can pull this up. So this is from Fox San Diego, which is not Fox News. It's just Fox San Diego, right? They're not Fox News. Don't look a few of the three that are very big. Larry Elder leads race to replace New Summon, recall election, New Paul reveals.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Go a little lower. Don't look in shirt. And then you just announced this how long ago. Week two weeks ago. Just a week ago. So go over here. OK, which candidate would you vote for to replace Gavin?
Starting point is 01:13:13 A new sum of his recall. Larry, other 16%. John Cox, 6%. Kevin Faulkner, 6%. Kevin Kylie, 4%. Katelyn Jenner, 4%. Meet Kevin, 2% someone else 8% Undecided 53%
Starting point is 01:13:30 16 Kevin has the third Kevin and he's doubling everybody Pat. It's a little bit of everybody pushing each other and we're gonna get him in office Telling you I'm campaigning for this I'm just exclusive new stable at Poland state wide poll of more than 1000 registered voters Which has a margin of error points minus point two. Wow! It has a margin of error of plus minus 2.9%. He would still be- He would still be them.
Starting point is 01:13:54 Ask respondents who they would vote for, so Governor Newsom, Eldor let the pack with 16% John Cossick on the number 6% majority. Go a little lower, go a little lower to see what's on the bottom here. There it is with the radio's lyrics, which is California ballot. Earlier this week it found suit, and there's some of the lord to see what's on the bottom here there is with the radio is there is California ballot earlier this week it found suit which are about 300 pages tax returns to country candidate with elders now and clean premise approval rating the lord goal of the law in another goal is that California has a election while I mean there you go we're gonna see what's gonna happen steady California they might open bad when they did
Starting point is 01:14:19 that pull that I'm telling you about immediately after they took them off the ballot because he there was when he submitted his taxes there was a discrepancy. Not in his taxes, there was just a discrepancy in the way he submitted them. And they didn't want to let him run. They said, oh no, no, no, you did it wrong. We're not going to let you. Of course, no, well, no shit. Look at the, what they're scared of them.
Starting point is 01:14:35 They know what he's going to do. I will do some makes it illegal for guys named Larry. They're going to go back down. Kind of scroll back down. Here's actually the most interesting part of the poll, other than Larry Elder. There's more than 50% that are still undecided. They're open. They were gonna flip them.
Starting point is 01:14:49 Okay, that's your job now. They're just still, hey, I don't know what I want to do yet. But listen, there are certain times where you have the perfect storm where anybody from the other side can come in and win. Okay, meaning a red state can have a blue person win and a blue state can have a red state win. At any point, this can happen.
Starting point is 01:15:09 And it's typically after a catastrophic resume just like you some hands. That's when common sense wins. Like look at my friend Joe Manchin, Democrat keeps winning in West Virginia. Cause he just makes sense, even in the red estate in the country. Is he a little bit more in West Virginia?
Starting point is 01:15:24 He is. He's a conservative general more towards a million? He is. He's a cancer. He's a cancer. I know what that is. I'm a bit of that. I know you love Joe Manchin. We've all taught, we all like Joe Manchin. I think he's literally held this country together.
Starting point is 01:15:36 I think the reason we're still the United States is Joe Manchin. And to a lesser degree, he's a constant. He's a constant. Yep. Now what do you think about the non-stead as a Democrat? What do you think about the hard push from the left to get him out of the party, to get him pushed out? You see it literally every day.
Starting point is 01:15:52 What do you look at Joe Manchin? Look at Slate, look at Mother Jones, look at all of the Democrats look at when AOC says about him. Look at what they say about him. Look at from his own side. I'm just going to use James Carville's words. Not I mean, I'm not that far left. So to don't know me in there, but I'm just going to use James Carville's words. And he basically said this woke left needs to go. James Carville was Clintons right in man. The rage and Cajon, you know, the rage and Cajon. He's married to a Republican.
Starting point is 01:16:22 They got to just have divorce. Okay, well, sorry about that. Good luck out there. Brilliant political opera. Yeah, brilliant political opera. His most famous line is like, tell me why you didn't like about the 90s with Clinton. The piece of the prosperity. Which one?
Starting point is 01:16:36 You don't like peace? You don't like prosperity? He basically said, Democrats are getting a bad name because 50 to use his numbers 15% of the Democrats are this woke left cancel culture yada yada yada aoc progressive 15% again these are his words. He said the majority of Democrats are suburban women blacks college educated people that don't necessarily agree with that. Now, I know you said, well, don't talk about both sides. He basically said, there's way more than 15% on the Republican
Starting point is 01:17:11 side that are maggot out that are completely done. They don't think January 6th of the deal. The Democratic political operatives said this, yeah. Okay, it's correct. Exactly. So to answer your original question, yes, there's going to be people on the left that want to get mansion out of there, but common sense wins at the end of the day. I think Pat always talks about the best ideas will always win those are elected officials. I'm talking about. I'm not talking about the the crazies that are out there, you know, video on what he what she just said about mansion Kai just emailed it to you. It's with Chris Hayes I think it's a Chris Hayes is that his name Chris Hayes on No, this is on MSNBC. Yeah, Kai did you get the email? I sent you another bastion of journalistic integrity But you know what I don't think that I don't like people that support Trump I don't think they're Trump's pull up the email guy as much as their anti establishment
Starting point is 01:17:59 That as much as I'm trying to I mean I agree. I mean bro. He's a brave heart. He's a brave heart. He's a brave heart. I think that's there's bro. Of course. Well, when we when you've been governed by the left for so long and Do you think they love Trump or they're governed by the left? He was a hard head for you. No, no, saying do you think they love Trump or do you think that they hate the the political establishment? Just look at his approval ratings, bro. Just look at the numbers go. What's Trump's approval ratings with the Republican party. Oh, no, 90%. Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. So yeah, they love him. Okay, here we go. Look at this idiot. Our aspect of this is that HR one stands up against lobbyists and dark
Starting point is 01:18:37 money. And I would reckon to think that this is probably just as much a part of Joe Manchin's calculus as anything else. Because when it comes to this bipartisan argument, I gotta tell ya, I don't buy it. Because Joe Manchin has voted for bills that have not been bipartisan before. Look at the American Rescue Plan. So this is not just about bipartisanship.
Starting point is 01:19:01 This is, I think, because you look at the Koch brothers and you look at, you know, organizations like the Heritage Foundation and Conservative lobby groups that are doing a victory lap, claiming victory over the fact that mansion refuses to change on the filibuster. And I think that these two things are very closely intertwined. And I think that there's a desire to make this just about- This agrees with me, so I'm protecting the franchise. Protecting our democracy is also about making sure that we give lobbyists and dark money groups, which are funding these attacks on the right to vote.
Starting point is 01:19:40 The boot. Get rid of the filibuster to protect democracy. The very tight grip on both oh my god and I think that that has pretty good I get a fricking headache listen to this idiot bro I'm gonna buy you a rookie card of a you'll see no
Starting point is 01:19:55 Pat I don't see if you're listening to this Pat you have you have you have you have a comment say you have gave me many gifts I promise you this is going to be the only one that's going to go you should get that right no I would know I would go shrink my fireplace. You should give it to Adam I go she's that's she's babe though, right bro. I don't either She's an idiot if you ugly nobody would be listening to her. That's my opinion of course She was any other
Starting point is 01:20:19 Nobody's It's a party said is it would take 70 years. That's what I'm listening to Omar. She's not horrible There's another one that's even worse she was shot to lead not attractive in the face let's uh... look we're gonna see what's gonna happen here but the whole story went from uh... word was that to mention to aoc to you know where things are right now with Larry elder california
Starting point is 01:20:39 it's gonna be interesting to see what happens can a guy conservative black man went governor into state of California? We will find out very soon here. And if he does, does he really have enough time to do anything about it? I don't know. Can he get reelected and stayed there
Starting point is 01:20:53 for another four years? We're gonna see. I think living in California, if people are just tired, man, we just, we want, we want, we want to change so bad. People don't, I don't want to leave California, but I really don't. I love California.
Starting point is 01:21:04 And if these changes, chances are, I not going to leave. But if it doesn't change, we're gone. You got it. You got to convince Mitchell Robinson from North Carolina to go out to California and come out there with that big old 60 inch barrel chest of his. Get sweaty on the microphone. Mitchell Robinson is my man, dude. I don't know if you guys know who he is, but that dude is where it's at, man. Kai, pull up NBA Finals stats on what happened, plus minus on viewership on what happened here. So first of all, we haven't even talked about it. The honest is a champion, which is a beautiful thing
Starting point is 01:21:34 to see a guy with 50 points. The Greek Freak 17 for 19, 13 rebounds, five blocks. How's that ever called it? And... Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, attracts 9.9 million viewers up 32% from 2020, but still down from previous year. Go a little lower here. That's kind. Because the last game at NBA final series featuring more arguments on 12.5 million viewers
Starting point is 01:21:59 on 50% compared to Game 6 of 2020, which was played in October because of COVID pandemic. But overall the series drew a few of viewers, which was played in October because of COVID-19, but overall the series Drophil Rears and a year before the Buxerman and stuff and all that kind of so here's what I liked about this series Here's what I liked about this series, okay First of all, you know for six games. I heard nothing about politics It was no BLM. There was no people are bad. There is no nothing. It was just a great series, okay? That you sat there and watched fantastic series and this guy here for whatever reason The NBA's having a hard time helping him be the face of the NBA. There's something about him that scares him He said I had the opportunity to go to another super team. I don't want to do it
Starting point is 01:22:41 Just now something what I wanted to do I wanted to stay here and win the championship. I could have easily gone to another super team shot to everybody in that league to everybody in the league gets called out. Steven A Smith says Chris Middleton should win MVP. And he ends up winning MVP. Absolutely. Absolutely. Showing everybody that this guy's the MVP. Performance. No one's ever seen before. What does he do? He takes every argument away. By the way, they're asking Chris Paul Chris, what are you gonna be doing? He's like, I'm not gonna talk better right now What I'm gonna be doing in the office? He's like, we just lost man leave us alone and we'll I'll kind of let you know
Starting point is 01:23:11 Chris Paul is leaving Phoenix Chris Paul is leaving Phoenix. I'm willing to I'm willing to bet on it that Paul is leaving Phoenix LA and he's gonna go one of couple places. He if he goes to LA It's not gonna be just Lebron's call from to go to LA Buss and some of the other guys have to agree for him to go to LA. Paul's leaving Phoenix. He's gonna go to a different place. Booker is gonna win here.
Starting point is 01:23:32 I'm gonna tell you right now, Booker's gonna win here. Because everybody in the league is sitting there saying, who do I want as a teammate? And people are saying, I want Booker as a teammate. I don't know if I want Paul as a teammate. He's gonna get attention. Either Booker's gonna go somewhere. Either Booker's gonna go somewhere. A booker's gonna sit there and say,
Starting point is 01:23:46 I'm more like Janus than I'm like all these other guys. What if I stay in Phoenix? What if I attract a couple guys that come run with me? What if we go out there and actually win a championship? What if he attracts a couple players I want to go run with them? But anyways, one thing is for sure when he comes down to the NBA right now, especially with what's going on with LeBron Nabean
Starting point is 01:24:04 and this thing he was planning a whole thing with Space Jam. Wallis in the finals, it was going to be this big blockbuster deal. Kind of didn't work out for him. You're hearing behind closed doors. Guys talking about they should trade, Stephen A. Anthony Davis for Damien Lillard. Chris Paul should come to the Lakers.
Starting point is 01:24:20 All these talks are being done. I applaud Janus. Class Act, humble, says all the right things, is still being himself, and is still respects LeBron, still respects Kobe, still respects all these guys. They asked him a question, they said so in 2007. When LeBron got into the league, he says,
Starting point is 01:24:37 do you remember when this took place, he says I wasn't even playing basketball yet. He started playing basketball the first time in 08. First time he played basketball was in 08. It's 13 years ago, the guy's 26 years old. First time we played basketball was in 08 It's 13 years ago the guys 26 years old first time we played basketball was at 13 14 years old and I years who he is today So it's great for the NBA. I hope the NBA welcomes him I hope the NBA allows him to become the face. I hope this guy wins back to back to back I hope he becomes the new face that attracts people from all walks of life to say I can be an NBA fan again
Starting point is 01:25:04 And I'm not gonna be judged for what I stand for. Here's a question for you. One crazy question for you, ready? Which sport have you heard nothing about politics in that sport? The NHL. Nothing. There is nothing with politics.
Starting point is 01:25:20 You hear it in football, cavernick. You hear it in the NBA, nonstopstop you hear it in the MLB nonstop Got a question for about the NBA Here's a question for you question for all you guys name me a Republican in the NFL a player in the NFL NFL Tom Brady. Yeah great name me a Republican in the MLB 90% of league 90% of league name me a Republican in the NBA 90% of the league 90% of the league name me a Republican in the NBA Yeah, the guy Jonathan Isaac that wouldn't know any more land. I'm talking name me name me a half decent star in the NBA That's a Republican outwardly
Starting point is 01:25:56 That you even know that's a Republican or a libertarian or an independent anybody They're out there. They're just not vocal name you Name me one. You know how friends, yeah, I have friends. Do you have anybody that you know is? That what? That is Republican? 100%. You do. Are they vocal?
Starting point is 01:26:12 Charles Barkley. I don't know if Charles Barkley. Are they vocal? Can it be vocal about it? Yeah, we've got someone like can come in here and even come on the podcast. Are they vocal about it? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:21 They've talked about it while they're playing that they're supporting on the right? They're retired now. They're not playing. I understand who you're talking about but outside of him Tell me somebody else who's a star and he wasn't a star, but I'm talking about somebody that was a star is you reput a Republican I'm thinking if there's a star in the league right now that will come out and say there's a that they are Republican. I don't know the bronzans would let them I Don't I don't think LeBron controls the league like he did at one point
Starting point is 01:26:44 I don't know. I don't think LeBron controls the league like he did at one point. Can you today come out and say your Republican in the NBA? See, I think you can't, like, can you, I don't know, but should you? Yes. But if you do, will your career be negatively imposed? Yes, I think that's bullshit. Yeah. But I think you could say, I'm a Republican. This is what I agree with. Good for you. I believe in social justice. You can be a Republican and I believe in social justice. Like you can be a Republican. It's still Question for you. Most people that work for vitamin are they Democrats are Republicans. It's pretty split Shocking split shocking number of comments. Yeah, but what I'm trying to throw the
Starting point is 01:27:16 Combo, but what I'm saying to you is it's a split. Yeah, it's a split here at the So is America. So is America. Right. It's not the NBA. But not the NBA. Well, okay. But here's the percentage of the NBA. And we talked about this.
Starting point is 01:27:31 Yeah, but we talked about this here though. We're in Florida. Yeah. And it's Joe Biden. Me and Adam. Me and Adam. Me and Adam talked about this already, this conversation. Value Taming has split, but you're talking about both that for the most part,
Starting point is 01:27:48 California, Florida, the Democratic, the Democratic Republic can co-exist. And California, they can't. And neither can the NBA. Right. So what I'm getting at is that you have a split here, but everybody's like, yeah, we're cool. You're the Democratic Republic, and we're cool. You don't judge each other. And California, there's a lot of judging because I know I sure as hell do it, and I'm not even gonna deny it. And I'm good with it. I'm gonna own the fact that yes, I, yes, I, California, there's a lot of judging. Because I know I sure as hell do it, and I'm not even gonna deny it, and I'm good with it. I'm gonna own the fact that yes, I, yes, a California, there is no California, like a Democrat, or a Democrat,
Starting point is 01:28:13 Democrat Californians are a whole different breed of their own. They're like super mutants. They're not like a regular Democrat in Florida. It's very cultures in California. So yes, I do judge and yes, I do tend to stay away because I just don't like their idea.
Starting point is 01:28:27 I think what you're saying is depending on what state you're in, there's a difference between a New York Democrat versus a Alabama Democrat. Okay, there's a difference between a it's regional versus New Jersey Republican versus a Mississippi Republican. There's difference. So a... It's regional versus New Jersey. ...republican versus a Mississippi Republican. Right. There's difference.
Starting point is 01:28:47 California. So I didn't understand all, like in Florida, we coexist. Yes. Not in California. My friends are Cuban, they're Republicans, but they're socially liberal. Or I went to school in Tallahassee, where it's Northern Panhandle.
Starting point is 01:28:58 And there's a lot of more rural Americans. Not in California. South of South Beach. Like we kind of coexist. California, there's a lot of arguing. It's not as ugly in politics here. It's not. I'll be for you.
Starting point is 01:29:09 If you were up in Brooklyn, if you spent a lot of time in Brooklyn specifically, but New York and North Jersey in particular, they wouldn't let you claim that you're a Democrat. They would, they would ostracize you. Either you would have to move further to the left or your social circles would restrict access to you. I swear to God, because you're not far enough left. They'd consider you a closet Republican or a- Sure, and I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 01:29:28 I'm not, because a guy would push you out. You're a Republican. No, I'm telling you right now. They would push you out of business opportunities. They would push, you'd be pushed out. You'd either have to go along and be pushed out. That's why you're so angry. So I am angry, I know, I get it.
Starting point is 01:29:44 But I do never have to do with that. I do want to be clear. I want to be very clear. I want to be Republican or Democrat. Say you should do this. So I am angry. I know, I get it. But I do never had to do with that. I do want to be clear. I want to be very clear. I want to be a Republican or a Democrat. So you should do that. I've never said it's not both sides, by the way. I just want to be clear with this. I've never said it's not both sides.
Starting point is 01:29:54 I said, look at the other side as the wrong argument for right now. In this moment right now, it's not both, corporate America is not cow-towing to both sides. They're cow-towing to one side. MBA is in trying to win over the Republican vote. They're putting up all progressive messaging.
Starting point is 01:30:09 They're going as far to the left. They were China, China, China. They've chosen and it's not. Look at Ben and Jerry's Ben and Jerry's specific. Exactly. So in this moment, all I want from Democrats, all I want, and then, you know, that here comes hamburgers six nine six nine in the comments. One is the right one podcast. All I want and you know that here comes hamburgers six nine six nine in the comments. Go right. We're podcasts.
Starting point is 01:30:25 All I want. All right. From Democrats is to just admit it. Like I love love love what Bill Mars. Yeah, Bill. I love love love what Russell brand is doing. These guys are Democrats. I don't want everybody to think like me.
Starting point is 01:30:41 No, I just want you to live in the same reality that I live in. Yeah. I just don't gas like me in the sand. Well, I know to be true, isn't it? Like Pat says, the best ideas will rise to the top. The best ideas will win. And if you're too far left, and the rest of America's like, dude, what are you doing here, bro?
Starting point is 01:30:57 I don't want everyone going into the same bathroom. I don't want a male competing in the softball, women's softball, or powerlifting. This is a little too extreme. Like, something that we all are guilty of is saying that the other side are idiots. The easiest way to convince somebody is,
Starting point is 01:31:16 let's say I'm a Democrat, and I talk to my Democrat friends, I'm like, guys, you got to understand. I mean, you've got kids here. You're actually good with the trans stuff going on in the bath, like I'm not trying to pick on a specific issue. And me talking like, that's gonna go a lot further and you're a fucking idiot and you don't understand.
Starting point is 01:31:34 But, blah, blah, blah. But understand, like, if you're on the right side and you're like, look dude, you got to understand, like, man, like, maybe we shouldn't attack the Capitol, maybe we shouldn't follow Donald Trump. I'll be very specific. Hey, maybe you're right, maybe you're right. Let me be very specific. Megan Rapino you're right. Maybe you're right.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Let me be very specific. Megan Rapinoe, rapping or however you say, and the rest of the women's national team. Socrates. Socrates. Socrates. Yeah. Representing us, taking a knee, still, Dornium, the merit, during the national anthem.
Starting point is 01:31:55 Now, she had explained this four years ago that Trump was a fascist. So she's standing up against, she's kneeling against fascism. She's kneeling against something that, okay, fine. That jump is the guy going door to door, trying to jab people with far and substance. Isn't the guy who censors people's thoughts on big with big tech.
Starting point is 01:32:14 She's not the person like Jen Sackie saying, we're working closely with private sectors to eliminate misinformation, which just happens to be information that goes against their narrative. These are all very clearly pseudo fascist ideas. Still taking the knee, what Trump's not in office, what's the deal? At some point here, you have to be held accountable. If you're going to make these public declarations, you have to be held accountable. All right. And I'll be frank, man, if I see the American
Starting point is 01:32:42 soccer team, the national team kneeling during our national anthem, I don't want them in there, man. Get out. Give it to somebody else. You shouldn't be representing. They lost three zero, by the way, so you don't have to worry too much. The US women, they're not there.
Starting point is 01:32:54 They're not there. They're not there. They're not doing their thing. They lost three zero. To who? And she said, we didn't play good game. Because the climate change. You can't trust the Scandinavian countries, Kai.
Starting point is 01:33:04 We don't know what Scandinavian countries, Kai. It's a CNN story, right? We don't know what's going on over there. I let me change it up. Let me change it up. I want to do a little bit of a light conversation here with you guys. I don't want to see what you're going to say about this.
Starting point is 01:33:13 OK, so question for you. Mr. Adam, Ricky Gerard, everybody here is participating. He made it. David, you're also participating. Kai, you are too. Does money buy happiness? I'm too. Does money buy happiness? I'm serious. Does money buy happiness?
Starting point is 01:33:28 Pat, you seem like a pretty jolly guy. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha- There are a couple of days ago, Evan. And it makes things a lot easier, but no, you can't buy genuine happiness. There's no such thing about it as buying happiness. People make you happy, relationships make you happy. Good health makes you happy. That's what makes you happy. You can be a millionaire, a billionaire, and you can. 10 grand make me really happy.
Starting point is 01:34:01 10 grand make me really happy. Yeah. There was a study out a couple years ago. You're going to you should have made the ask for 25. There was a study out a couple years ago that they said that the number where happiness sort of levels off is $70,000. $75,000. Okay. All right. Is it 75? So we're 11 level. It would pull up your work. Okay. So look, let's just let you know, don't pull it up. Yeah, 75,000 dollars goes a lot further.
Starting point is 01:34:27 And Alabama versus New York City. But I think like we talked about money just exposes who you really are, right? So I don't think. Listen, you were broken, Denver, you're sleeping on French couch versus you have a million dollars in a bank and you don't really care much about money. You're not really stressing out about money. When were you happier? Look, again, I think I'm just as
Starting point is 01:34:49 happy as when I was broke. I think I just have more options now. Okay. Okay. So can money, does money buy happiness? No. Put a small smile on your face. Yes. So if you go have you're gonna have problems regardless. Money, money doesn't eliminate problems. You're gonna have problems. Money is a tool, but- And it gives you more options. If you're gonna have problems anyway, you might want to be rich. I agree, I agree.
Starting point is 01:35:11 Yes. So I asked this question on Twitter, and I got so many different response. One of the guys said it best. He says, money doesn't buy happiness, but I've never seen an unhappy person on a jet ski. That's Daniel Tosh. Daniel Tosh, excellent.
Starting point is 01:35:24 And then another guy put up and he says, money, the money doesn't buy happiness, but the happy-else place honored will not let you without money. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:35:36 That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:35:44 That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying got some money around here, Kai. There's money by happiness. I should be happy. Kai probably has more savings here than most people. No, I can't say most people. But Kai's actually got more savings at 22 than almost all of us had. I'm over here to our office. I'm over leveraged in crypto
Starting point is 01:35:58 and I can tell you I was much happier six months ago. Okay, there you go. This guy's all in on Doge Kai. There's money by handlers. What do you think Kai? I mean, you know what, don't go based on a research I can't really ask you because we've talked about this
Starting point is 01:36:08 We spent a couple hours on the topic David money by sappiness yes or no My aunt won five hundred dollars in the lottery Yeah, and she was the happiest woman in the house She showed me the video she was crying I'm gonna go with five hundred dollars Showed me the video she was crying. I'm gonna go with 500 dollars. I can get you a happy life. You're gonna go home and she's gonna be like,
Starting point is 01:36:27 yo, why you nark, bro? IRS didn't even know about that. So pull up the article by, is it visual capitalist or virtual capitalist? Visual capitalist. Visual capitalist. Great place. These guys get six million visitors a month.
Starting point is 01:36:40 They do a great job. Just go to visual capitalist and they have the numbers right there. Click on that. Watch this here year click on the article guy go up. Okay, so watch this right there Yeah, so if you're making $15,000 a year you are 34% less happier than a person that so look at the number at about $80,000. It used to be 75 now. It's 80 right at 85 3% happier you see how the number goes and if you go to 625 income 38% happy I would agree with that. I would agree with that.
Starting point is 01:37:14 These don't switch and they can't stop smiling. So there is a part of it and by the way the way these guys did it is well being evaluating on well beingbeing, right? A person's mood, how they feel throughout the day. Because if you go back, go back to the person that's in Colorado. If I go back to the person that just got out of the army, I'm at that $49,000, I'm on my way back from Vegas
Starting point is 01:37:39 after Max and I'm at credit card, and playing a blank check. And I'm at that very, very happy place. That drive back was a miserable drive back from Vegas. I'm not sitting there saying, oh my gosh, what a great weekend guys. We crushed it. No, it's not on my mind. So there is an element to it, but I will tell you another guy from Harvard. They did this study. Can I pull up the other study? Do you think poor people sit there and they're like, am I happy? I think that's a very rich thing to be there. Just sitting on a pile of money, like Scrooge McDuck and be like,
Starting point is 01:38:09 am I really happy? But do you know why this is such an important topic? The reason why this is such an important topic, who tells you those who have money isn't happy? And why did they tell you that? They don't want to share it. So think about the statement. The statement about, honestly, I'm a billionaire, money isn't happy and why did they tell you that? They don't want to share it. So think about the statement.
Starting point is 01:38:25 The statement about, you know, honesty, I'm a billionaire, but when you are, it's really not that good, bro. Like don't even sweat it. Like stay at the $42,000 all of your ring com. So I'll tell you, to your point, all right, my father wanted me to be a lawyer more than anything in the world.
Starting point is 01:38:37 And so you made a decent, you were the man going to blow you up. So I got nobody would want to go against you. So what I did was I, like I went and I talked with 10 lawyers. They're my buddy's father and stuff like that. And I was like, hey, look, do you like your job? What's going on? And everyone of them, all 10 of them said, don't be a lawyer.
Starting point is 01:38:56 This is the worst job ever. You're going to hate it. I went back and I told my dad, I was like, because the plan was for me to go to law school in New York season on baseball, right? And he goes back and he looks at me and he's like, yeah, did you look around the parking lot? Did you see a lot of Mercedes?
Starting point is 01:39:09 See a lot of BMWs? Yeah, they might not like their job. But the job freaking works. Nobody likes their job. If you're gonna have to have a job that you don't like, you might as well make a lot of money. Nobody likes their job. Your dad said that.
Starting point is 01:39:18 Yeah, it's like I'm gonna give you a tip here. People like hobbies. If you make your hobby into your job, you're not gonna like your job. Nobody likes responsibility. They don't like waking up early. They don't like doing what somebody else tells them to do. It doesn't matter what it is. There's a porn star out there. That's a freaking star. No, he's just saying he's like porn star. There's a porn star out there. There's a porn star out there that has to show up on set and then, you know, have sex with beautiful women and he's another Thursday. God. And he hates his job.
Starting point is 01:39:44 You know what I'm saying? Once it's a job, you're gonna hate it, so make as much freaking money as possible, so you don't have to do it at home. What's that? Well, you like saying like your aspirations in life? Is that kind of what you want? No, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:39:54 But here's the thing, Pat, I was going in a major league. I don't need a job. I was gonna be million there, bro. See, I don't think that everyone hates their job. I think there's levels of, I enjoy my job, but yeah, I'd rather be on a freaking jet ski You know or like I really Yeah, the way that put his dad said responsibility
Starting point is 01:40:13 Nothing about the word responsibility is sexy. You know the idea of last night, okay? Three times Three times last night. Listen, let's like do it. I'm so glad to tell that dad, baby. He's just mad. Okay. But, but at the same time,
Starting point is 01:40:32 yesterday we're out there looking at a project that we're working on right now. And I got this kid in my arm. She's crying the moment I picked it up. She falls asleep. And this morning I go by her and I'm looking at her and I'm talking to her. And I'm just having, you know,
Starting point is 01:40:45 just doing my thing with the baby and I'm kissing her on the stomach. She's asleep and she goes like this. Body. Too. My knees buckle. I'm like I almost fell on the floor. Responsibility comes with a lot of like pressure
Starting point is 01:41:01 and you know, things that you have to do. And it drives you though. What an incredible feeling. What it comes with it. Your and, and, and, you know, things that you have to drive you though. What an incredible, yeah, but it's your age. What it comes with it. Your dad, honestly, I want to have your dad on the podcast. That's it. It came over. We want the real Gerard on the podcast. Yeah, it would be real.
Starting point is 01:41:15 Mr. Michaels, what are you doing? Oh, you think so. So my government out there. So let me give it the other side. Let me give it the other side. So Harvard does a study. It's a 75 year study. I don't know if you guys have heard about the study or not. I'm talking about yesterday. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:41:27 we were talking about last night. So Harvard does a study and they followed a group of it's like a hundred people they followed for 75 years. Yeah. So the people that started the study and died. They had certain protocols that next generation continues it that works for Harvard. Wow. And every year they check with these people that they're talking to and asking questions. So listen, you're 45 now. What do you value the most right numbers is what it was at 44?
Starting point is 01:41:51 Hey, you're 46 now. Hey, you're 55 now. Hey, you're 65 now. And they're following this, right? And Kai, if you can pull up this article, I know there's a Ted for it, but it's see if you can pull up the article. Do you know what they said at the end of the day?
Starting point is 01:42:03 What made them the most happiest in life? Has to be family. Has to be. It was, it wasn't family. Really? No. It wasn't family. It was all relationships. Yeah. 100% it was relationships.
Starting point is 01:42:15 Meaning, meaning relationships. Friend, family, you were in a relationship. No, no, but because let's face it, something that will have family, you're okay being away from, you know. Something that will have the family, you want to be around all the time, because they're miserable.
Starting point is 01:42:25 And one of the things he said, these people that they research and ask the questions of, yeah, it's an 80 year old study, it's a fascinating study. One of the things they talked about is the fact that it's also important to be with people that are growing. So if you stay with relationships that are no longer growing, that doesn't serve you bring your happiness So if your friends with the friend that you were in high school and the guy has no aspirations
Starting point is 01:42:50 You're trying to go teet up and life. This this guy's not gonna bring you happiness It's gonna make you feel like shit. How the friend of mine called me one time One of most annoying phone calls on my life. So this guy sends me a tape. Kai You remember this when I showed you the video to show me the video with Soccer all this stuff, with this kid is killing this guy. I love this guy. It's like a brother.
Starting point is 01:43:08 Tilted out love this guy. Sends me this video and he's trying to get some money for this equipment for his kid, right? And he's going to show me this stuff. This guy I knew from 16 years old. We go back, when I was 16, 15 years old. And he says, hey, I got this kid. We get on a call, I get on a call. like, listen, the video was a sickest video.
Starting point is 01:43:27 I freaking love it. And I love the fact that you spend a time with your kid. And how can I help? He says, I want you to buy this machine. I said, are you doing a go fund me? I said, I want you to buy this $2,000. I said, why don't you, I'll contribute, but why do you want me to buy it for $2,000? Where do you have the money?
Starting point is 01:43:43 Well, why don't you guys go to public and do go fund me? I'll be the biggest contributor. No, we don't want to do that with our friends and family, but we just wanted to come to you because we think you would help us out with this. I said, first of all, I hope you out, but why the pressure on me having to pay 100% of it because you have the money, you can afford it.
Starting point is 01:43:59 I'm like, I know I can afford it, but does that mean I have to go do this for everybody? No, so why don't you do go fund me? I'm telling you I'll support it. Well, no, and here's the other thing. I think does that mean I have to go do this for everybody? I said, why don't you go find me? I'm telling y'all support it. Well, no, and here's the other thing. I think the reason why you want to do this, I said, what's that? And this was it. I was like this.
Starting point is 01:44:11 I'm like, I'm going to do it and surprise the kid. And I'm not even going to tell him about it. I'm going to send this machine to his house. And I'm going to surprise him, right? Until he made his last comment. You know what the last comment was? Here's the last comment. He says, I was at Raffi's place the other day.
Starting point is 01:44:24 And I ran into a couple of the old friends that we had from 20 years ago. And they weren't saying good things about you. So really, what were they saying? They were saying that ever since Patrick became successful on all this stuff, he doesn't come to LA anymore. And all he cares about is success of money.
Starting point is 01:44:36 I said, entry, he says, if you get this for me, I'm gonna help recreate and improve your relationship and come on. Oh hell no. Do you realize what that did to me? Oh right, check right now. Oh my God. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:44:49 What did you just say? What did you just say? He says, yeah, this one. I said, did you really just say that to me? I said, if you know me for 26 years and I've always been the only guy that's had your back. You need this and you are allowed people like that to talk to me to you privately. And I you want to tell me you're going to help with my reputation.
Starting point is 01:45:13 He says, look, sometimes I say stuff I shouldn't say. I said, I said, I'm sorry, man. That was probably the worst thing you can say to somebody. Not only that, there's no friendship. Why did they feel comfortable enough around you to talk about me? Exactly what JayZ says. Don't tell me what people said behind my back. Tell me why they're so comfortable to around you to talk about me? Exactly what Jay-Z says. Don't tell me what people say behind my back. Tell me why they're so comfortable to say it to you, right?
Starting point is 01:45:30 What's the point? Here's the idea. That energy, that energy of a comment like that, pulls you down. Oh, my God. Happiness is to get away with those relationships because you have no idea to control a comment like that has on a human being.
Starting point is 01:45:46 How it can retract you from your dreams. I would think about that non-stop all day long. It was just ruined my whole day. I had, Pat's friend, if you listen to this, you're a freaking idiot. Yeah, you know, you know I came back and I, from Seamy, bro, from Seamy. I'm in Cali, my boy, I'll see you.
Starting point is 01:46:01 Let me, let me put it to you this way. Let me put it to you this way. This guy here, when we were coming up and I'm thinking about like even when we were doing other things in life, no matter what he ever did, I had his back. Comments like this. Unbelievable.
Starting point is 01:46:13 But think about it for your own self. Like, this is not even, this is not even a, with this friend, I'm not even gonna do. If you're listening friend, comment, but pay $20 so we read it on air. Yeah. By the way, but here's the point though, for some of you guys that are listening,
Starting point is 01:46:24 this has nothing to do with my friend. Go to that one friend or family member that every time you're around them, they say, yeah, but, okay. So you're around this person and you're like, okay, let me tell you what just happened that. Hey, let me tell you what just happened here, bro. Hey, let me tell you cause here's what we just did. Yeah, but that's a really even matter.
Starting point is 01:46:42 I bet the guy that you're even working with, he's the guy that probably doesn't care about you. Yeah, but that's a really, yeah, but this, yeah, but that's a really even matter. I bet the guy that you're even working with, he's the guy that probably doesn't care about you. Yeah, but that's a really, yeah, but this, yeah, but Adam, yeah, but constantly, they will drag you down. So eventually, you know, you're making money, you're succeeding. Mario and I are at the house where I'm in this conversation together.
Starting point is 01:46:59 When we were moving to Florida, I had a very simple statement one night to Mario. I announced an announcement that we're moving to Florida. And I said, we're going. This is Pat, how can we do this, man? What if people don't come? I said, Mario, I'm 42 years old right now. Here's the conclusion I have with my life.
Starting point is 01:47:14 The only people I want to be around when I'm running, and I want to make sure all their dreams become a reality, is true believers. You're a true believers? Let's go. You're not, I don't guess, Amari. If it's just me and you moving to Florida, this is still going to be one of the biggest media companies in the world, because we're in true believers, let's go. You're not, I don't guess a more. If it's just me and you moving to Florida, this is still gonna be one of the biggest
Starting point is 01:47:26 media companies in the world, because we're gonna fight till the very end. We have a message, we have an audience, people resonate with us, we're gonna do our part. Let's go, hey, here's what we're doing. You and you're out, let's go. But this is what we're doing, this is our move. To, you know, relationships,
Starting point is 01:47:39 the value of good relationships, if you value good relationships, long term. Last time I'm having a conversation with I'm so disappointed just hearing that story with what with I just but you mean to tell me no one said things like that to you before no one's put that I like is the chair crying over here I like to get emotional about this I had a with in Addison Texas you know that I Wanted to be nice life for you but when you said look at him I've got some this gonna make some tough to
Starting point is 01:48:23 You were the one I was worried about. Yeah, we're gonna move back to Florida. I was worried about you. Exactly, but we're gonna go back to South Florida.
Starting point is 01:48:37 You enter, you enter, I go bad, I need to sleep on this. Okay. Do you remember that weekend? You need the whole weekend. I said bad, I'm in because I'm a true believer, but I was really finding my niche here in Addison, Texas, but it's good to be home in life. And Miami, it feels good.
Starting point is 01:48:50 What did you like most about Addison, Texas? Be honest. What's at the quality of life? What's at the beach life? What's the best comedy clubs in America, by the way? Yeah, seriously, do it. The comedy club, yeah. This is actually gonna be ironic.

Starting point is 01:49:24 The office doesn't even look the same. The whole structure, what we're doing over there. We're all leading the whole thing. Nighting me, side is just destroyed. I hear recipes. I don't know if you heard or not. The office doesn't even look the same. The whole structure, what we're doing over them, we're all leading the whole thing. Nightingay, what it looks like. I think what this goes back to your initial point here, what I enjoyed about it, like you said, is relationships. Yeah. Like people think about it in 2020,
Starting point is 01:49:37 what's the one thing we all lost was relationships. You would see like the drive by birthdays, and you couldn't go hug grandma, because you thought you were gonna kill grandma by by giving her a hug and you lost those relationships and people just like you always talk about what do they keep open the goddamn liquor stores and the gun stores and you're gonna go to the gun stores okay well they're definitely closed though okay I think but like you a lot of relationships were missing you're doing team this up
