Hey, do you often wish you could stare at the people you pretend are your friends instead of just listening to us?
Well, do I have some great news.
Starting from last week, new episodes of Plumbing the Death Star will also be posted on YouTube 24 hours after the release of the audio.
Why the delay? Because a young and handsome man who works in marketing told us to.
I don't fully understand it, but that's the done thing,
and who am I to question it? Just search for Plumbing the Death Star on YouTube and subscribe.
The more of you that subscribe to that, the more we can trick the algorithm into other fools
listening to this utter nonsense instead of, I don't know, Joe Rogan. Imagine a young,
impressionable, mid-20s someone, they're searching on YouTube for all manners of garbage,
and they hit a key moment in their life.
A divergent path, if you will.
On one side, all those Jordan Peterson, Andrew Tate, and Alt-Right videos,
and on the other side, ContraPoints, PhilosophyTube, Innuendo Studios,
and the rest of LeftTube.
Hopefully they all fall down the ladder,
but that can be intimidating and maybe condescending for some people.
So let's give them a third option.
Us.
We won't make you smarter.
Arguably, we could make you stupider,
but we also won't radicalize you.
So do your part and subscribe
to Plumbing the Death Star on YouTube.
Not the Sandspans Radio channel.
That's a different thing we've abandoned.
This is a new channel,
one we will love and cherish.
It's different this time.
We've changed.
We've really grown as people.
We've also got an Instagram and a TikTok
for you to watch choice moments from the episode.
And you can share these bite-sized morsels of content
with your friends, family, or a dog you hate.
If this all does well, we'll branch out
and start filming some of the other shows on the network.
Maybe even make enough to have a three-camera setup.
Wouldn't that be swell?
So help us make more of this bullshit and subscribe to everything.
All the links are in the show notes.
We have one of those brand new Linktree things that surely is a recent thing,
not something that's been around for a few years.
Wouldn't be that behind current trends.
That would be silly if we were, huh?
Well, enjoy the upcoming, I don't know, episode about Mighty Ducks or something.
Everyone still loves Coach Bombay, yeah?
I'm the Death Star.
Down with faces.
