Starting point is 00:00:00 Trump went in 2016. Hillary Clinton went in 2016 to West Virginia. And she's like, I know you're sad that you lost your jobs, but just accept that the coal industry is not coming back. You're fucked. And Trump went to West Virginia and said, I'm going to bring back your coal jobs. And they interviewed, I remember some coal minor
Starting point is 00:00:18 who's generated, family had worked for generations in the coal industry. And they said, do you believe Trump that he's going to bring your cold jobs back? How do you think he's going to do that? And he said, no, of course, he's not going to be able to do that. But at least he recognizes our suffering. At least he knows that it's a problem, whereas Hillary claim came here and she is just accept the time has passed you by.
Starting point is 00:00:38 And believe making people think that you perceive their problems, you see them. That's why his whole convention speech is about I'm gonna defend the invisible, the forgotten man, the like invisible person. It's a very powerful thing to like be able to say I'm in power, I'm gonna be part of power but I'm gonna pay attention to your life, I'm not gonna trample over them and pretend you're not there, which is how people feel correctly. And that was the nail in the coffin I think really in the Hillary campaign which I didn't see at the time, but it's too early that her really hyper impotent response to make America great again was she said America doesn't have to be great again
Starting point is 00:01:14 because America is already good. Everyone really fell on fucking deaf ears. It's good for it's been so good for her and it's so obvious. It's so good for her. You run. So good. So why you work in a great clerks put her up to this. Because I this. I really think these people live in this information bubble. Like when I don't think these people in the media when they latch on to these
Starting point is 00:01:40 moronic narratives about Trump being Hitler and all that are doing it opportunistically or something. I think they really believe it. It's because everyone with you, they speak all day. Absolutely. I wish they were more cynical about it. They believe it because they feed on these these narratives all day and they don't they they're not there's no descent around them ever. They have nobody they if you just sent your automatically somebody who doesn't deserve to be listened to, they've created this closed information loop in which they exist, and they believe those things.
Starting point is 00:02:09 And so, like this idea that like, go America is this great country, everyone they know is thriving, everyone they know is doing well, it's true that they have no interaction with most of these people. And these people know that, these people know they look down on them and find them disgusting. Deplorable.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Deplorable, that was like the them disgusting. Deplorable. Yeah. Deplorable. That was like the defining moment. The end of the year. Oh, yeah. That was another huge nail in the call. Because it comported so well with what people already suspected about how Hillary Clinton sees them.
Starting point is 00:02:36 How do you feel about Hillary? This is a question for the both of you. How do you feel about Hillary now in retrospect? Now that she's like wheeling and dealing her like Netflix deals and stuff, I don't know, she seems to have settled into an appropriate. I kind of like her a pitty pitiful fitter.
Starting point is 00:02:54 I always have. I feel sorry for her. Even in the debate, even though she was in charm because of how many times she's fallen on her face. Even though I prefer Trump, there was this like, there was this sad desperation in her eyes in the debates like back in 2015,
Starting point is 00:03:09 16 where I was like, she should be the president. I was like, she seems so sad about it. You know, people forget like the really ugly but geolic war that erupted in the Democratic Party in 2008 when Obama and she were pursuing the nomination and Obama ultimately had won it up winning. And Larry David, our member with this article on Huffington Post.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Larry David, as in currently. Yeah, the current enthusiasm creator. And he said it was basically like her entire life depends upon being president. Like she's just going to kill herself if she doesn't win. She's desperately, she needs it so badly, just give it to her. You're gonna just don't wanna see what's gonna happen to her if she loses and then she not only glossed them but she lost a second time. And she's so bitter about it.
Starting point is 00:03:53 She's what happened? That's the book she wrote after. It was called What Happened. Yeah, she blamed everybody. I mean, that's so sad. Just like going just up here for a while, I can joy all your massive wealth. Just don't like go around just being like, look at me, I'm the loser and I would not only have a loser,
Starting point is 00:04:08 but I'm like an unfair loser, I'm an unjust loser. Really, she becomes like an object of pity. And that's just sad. That's the one thing you don't want to ever be. That's the effect she has on people, especially because Bill Clinton, inspired or maybe because of being a dirty slam pig is kind of universally beloved. Yeah, because he has that charm that she just completely lacks. She really does, I'm forage. And I think it really can pose as many pictures of her from the 70s. Yeah, I want like I'm going to.
